Starting point is 00:02:59 if you're in conversation and you're like yeah I got my revenge so I put some rats in their office because they've been torturing me for two decades now people will be like yeah good for you yeah
Starting point is 00:03:12 all this high road shit how often are you going to have an opportunity to take a to take a petty way through it two why is Jason Manzoukas only listed as a guest star
Starting point is 00:03:25 I know this is a problematic territory for me. Uh-oh. Three. The bomb stuff was funny. It was. Good bombing.
Starting point is 00:03:37 A-plus bombing. A-plus bombing. Nice reveal on Holtz. Made sense with the character. Four. And we made me laugh a couple of strong times. I just remembered a couple of comments I read in last week's video. They've haunted me to my core.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Oh, you. And I've been. up many nights. You itch it about what have I said. You blasphemer. I betrayed the B99. You've betrayed the whole precinct. What have I done? You're worse than the six five. What number are we on? We're on number 19. No, no, no. Not my number. Five. Number five. I've been counting what I've been pointing out. Oh, yeah, yeah. Five. Gina's kind of hot. Didn't hit me until now. Oh, yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She puts on that alpha mode, like, in full regalia, and there you go. I was looking at, she, do you have him, Peel's wife? Are they still together?
Starting point is 00:04:35 I think so. Nice. Yeah. He didn't say nope to her. Nope. He hasn't told her to get out yet. No, this is us. It's right. Yeah, we're the key in Peel. We are the, I don't have wonderlust when I'm with you. He's in Wonderlust. is he he's in the movie wonderless in fact you know why I know that because in the greatest scene in any movie ever where Paul Rudd's at the mirror the scene comes to an end when he is interrupted by Jordan peel god I don't remember that so every YouTube snippet that has Paul Rudd in the mirror with the whole the whole D monologue always cuts off right as Jordan people hey you okay man yeah yeah like she's not been attracted to me all these years
Starting point is 00:05:27 something about that confidence and assertiveness made me go damn I don't know man pretty hot yeah what were we on
Starting point is 00:05:35 six six six cats man cats love cats the cats were so adorable
Starting point is 00:05:43 my god kittens that's one are the most precious watch them grow and assholes demanding assholes we expect so much
Starting point is 00:05:55 of you guarantee you There's two outside this door right now who are like, feed me. I'm going to be like, it's not time yet. But they expect it because they're bored. That's right. They want to be outside because I haven't had time to play with them. Seven. What do I know that guest star from, that douchebag cop?
Starting point is 00:06:14 Oh, that is Matt. I think his last name is Besser. He's one of the, he's, yeah, he pops up in a lot of comedies, and he's one of the founders of UCB, I think. Oh, really? Yeah. He's not Peter Boyle, son. I don't think so, but you never know.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Do you know who Peter Boyle is? Yeah, he's the dad and everybody loves Raymond and he was also Young Frankenstein. Have you seen everybody who loves Raymond? I've seen not comprehensively the whole show, but because of your recommendation. When we were lads, I've seen a bunch of episodes. I would search it out when I got home from school days. Brilliant. Brilliant show.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Funny show? Funny show? I was the only person of my family who watched it. So good. So good. Eight.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Yeah, dealing with alphas are tough. You just got to get to a point where you get so angry that you're just irrationally yelling now. That's what you do. You get so festered up
Starting point is 00:07:16 that now you're just... Alpha battle. There's no healthy way to stand up. You just eventually got to start exploding on them because it's all pent up and then you look like the irrational one
Starting point is 00:07:25 who lost. that's how you handle alphas by losing control sort of dominant people in your lives blow up on them it's good i'll take that advice nine john comes up with something nine of your oh gregg also observed that uh that's that to be my observation okay ninth observation about the episode uh despite you know The abundance of hijinks, I thought there was a nice character, heartfelt core at the center of each story. You know what I'm trying to say. I thought this was a well-rounded episode.
Starting point is 00:08:08 You've had nine stages to think about what to say. You had to work. Ten. Ten. A lot of great animal actors in this episode. Katz had to go through a lot of emotional duress as Terry Boo. You rated them mercilessly. I would have broke that man's spy.
Starting point is 00:08:31 And then really paralyzed him. Yeah. And set back the entire case. 11. Can you actually solve a case two decades? I feel like that is well beyond the statute of limitations. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:08:48 I mean, it's probably wasn't an open case anymore. There's a cold case, maybe. Yeah. Case went cold. Yeah, starring the Armour and Greg. is that who was on cold case i've seen some cold case in my day that's the right show you know maybe 12 john looks up cold case tie yep before we go to this event that i definitely am way behind i got to get ready okay let's see cold case the show cold case
Starting point is 00:09:21 i don't know i think 2003 mystery show i don't think that's that's that's that's Greg from Dharma and Greg. Catherine Morris, Danny Pino, Jeremy Ratchford. As a matter of fact, he's got nothing to do with this show. Justin Chambers, John Finn, Tracea Thomas, Thomas, Tom Berry. What show was I thinking about that had the Dharma and Greg guy? Which crime series had the Dharma and Greg guy? Dude, there we go.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Dharma and Greg here. What's he on a show? I'm just making that up. All right. We're going to go the other way with this. we're going to search criminal minds. Oh, people love criminal minds. Criminal minds.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Not cold case. I haven't seen much. I've seen a little bit of criminal minds. This has got Mandy Patinkin and Matthew Gray Gubler as well. Yeah. Notcha. 256 episodes. This guy did. Did you watch Dharma and Greg? He had to do that to get over Dharma.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Yeah, man. Gotta go look at the most heinous disgusting crimes in order to get over her. Anyway. Was it good show? It was Darma and Greg? good show guys i'd never seen in that moment i like the episode laws good episode guys gina is gorgeous we got to do a brook we got to shout up one eric horseman he's funny he's funny
Starting point is 00:10:41 two he's loyal yes he is three three he's an off-putting liberal four he's liberal he's liberal five he's off-pubing got a real rejects tattoo does absolutely six six we're both attracted to him seven he has a heart of booster of gold he does
Starting point is 00:11:08 eight this man has loyalty did I say that you know what it bears repeating even if you did so rare quality he is nine nine he's a real peach because he's from Jalajah and 10 he's got a big day season three episode 20 oh that was phenomenal
Starting point is 00:11:37 the whole episode was phenomenal yeah it was a great one such great rhythm oh and such a great game too yeah and then competing uh competing bachelor parties so well edited that was like top b99 right there. I love that so much. It was, it was not only, like, the bits were just so well done. I love a good, like, any, comedy sitcom, you know, Bachelor, Bachelor, a party. I've seen it done in death so many times, but this was so creative in the way it was executed. Like, I love, you talk first time. Oh, I mean, no, I absolutely agree.
Starting point is 00:12:13 I mean, this was, yeah, it was like all the characters were used just the right way. Yeah, yeah, okay. So here's almost a nice. Just go ahead. yeah i don't know it it's one of those episodes that that actually incorporates the cold open and the cold open was so funny but then it i don't know it just swept off into this like really inspired it's like okay i guess we're doing this and yeah like the way it played games with the characters but also you know bothered to have it be something of a real story with actual stakes it's like
Starting point is 00:12:45 there were moments where i was like oh my god is he actually about to leave the show like is this you know, I don't know. There are times when they make characters get together or get married or whatever and you feel like okay, this is just going to be a gimmick, but I started to lose the sort of track of, you know, trying to figure it out in your head and I just got sucked into the fun, but
Starting point is 00:13:04 also just the story at hand and the sort of mystery of like, yeah, what's going on? Is he actually being pursued by somebody? And it was about the time, I think, when Jake texts Charles about the tongue, I was like, part of what's so brilliant about this episode is it feels
Starting point is 00:13:20 like everyone's together, even though they're not. Like, the timelines sync up really well, and they're both, like, two, you know, they're mirrors. They're two halves of the same coin, but they're also totally different stories happening. So I like that you have a personal bonding story, but then you also have, like, a more madcap, you know, actual crime story. And it actually got, it's pretty emotional at the end there.
Starting point is 00:13:43 And it was neat to have how, like, Rosa's night is escalated into the best night ever. Yeah. And then, oh, my God, what's Jason Matthew? And then Pimento's Night is deescalating. It's getting worse and worse. And so he does reach this, like, pinnical point where, you know, makes sense, like, it makes sense why he feels like, why he'd have to go into hiding. It's an FBI agent.
Starting point is 00:14:09 And then her ending on that note where it's, like, sweet with the people at the end of the Bachelorette party. Like, I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life. Like, I was so sincere. You get to see a time where she actually gets a. emotional and they kept it at the right pitch perfect note with them saying by to each other with just enough humor but not too much of the point where it undercut some of the sweetness yeah totally like it was tender and i felt really it was norbrookin for her in that moment and it was making me go no one james it's so funny he's so yeah and it was so wacky like the bachelor party
Starting point is 00:14:38 the bachelor party itself was so wacky um and i and i love the wackiness of how it unfolded with jake having to maintain and manage everything and then the and the quick cuts they having to talk to people to calm them now. The Hitchcock is going. Yeah, it was a great bit. Rotating in and out of them. But then even with Pimento and having all the weapons
Starting point is 00:14:58 that he's packed with like this giant arsenal of things, it felt like very Phil Lord and Chris Miller this specific episode. I doubt they directed it. But it felt like work into that style. Yeah, absolutely. And I like that you have, like, you know, with Rosa, obviously,
Starting point is 00:15:13 you usually expect her to be disappointed with things. But I love the escalation of like, yeah, each even though they're all in competition each one just does get progressively better and it's also fun to what like each of the bits is fun watching them throw down on the kids of the paintball range is fun the drinking game like i like i like that too i we were talking before about like sometimes they make amy a bit too much of like ah you know you know you know like here it's like these this is one of those episodes where it's like oh perfect you know like yeah this the setup is very you but then it's something that everyone can get in too and there's like the the yeah like to have it all turned out good yeah exactly and rosa turned out to enjoy all of them but two in the you know kind of the
Starting point is 00:15:57 you know you just look back over the way all the different character relationships have evolved and I was like I like the charles like she singled out charles like he's one of his the best you know like I thought that was a cool way to kind of just show like the the relationship journey between the two of them
Starting point is 00:16:13 two from you know him you know like crushing on her a ton to them just actually becoming really good friends and colleagues didn't you have an idea oh to they made there that's a real thing now is uh you can go to specific places where yeah you just pay for time and then you can wreck stuff so so yeah i was like i i i'm sure you know somebody else came up with it too because they exist now but yeah i think there's one in l.a somewhere just destroy stuff yeah you just get like a you know a cover all and you know a you know a a big mallet and stuff and they have just like shit that you can destroy it's like i've seen
Starting point is 00:16:52 people take pictures it's like a tv and glass and yeah you just kind of how much does it cost it's a great question 10 000 i think in fact i think the name is a pun i think it's the one around here is called rec room maybe yeah rec room los angeles let's see la's rage room and axe throwing look at that You can get a Groupon deal. Let's see. Just destroy stuff? One hour of axe throwing, but no, we wanted to get destruction. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Yeah. Break, smash, destroy tickets. Okay, here we go. We're finally here to the radio. Booking the Radio. Get it. All right. Suitable for ages 10 and over.
Starting point is 00:17:39 There's a glow-in-the-dark experience. They have powerful speakers so you can put on your music and stuff. You can bring your own stuff to break. There's a points system here. I want to know the cost. Okay. Okay. Okay, it's taking me to the tickets page.
Starting point is 00:17:59 I swear this is going to be worth it. It's going to be worth it. I mean, if an hour of axe throwing was like 50 bucks, like an hour of destroying stuff has to be around that $50 to $100 range. I don't want to sign a waiver just to get this. All right, fine. I'm clicking to sign the waiver. You've convinced me now.
Starting point is 00:18:16 just give me the rates how much is an hour at rec room god damn it oh prices start at $25
Starting point is 00:18:31 okay now if I wanted to torture a live person oh I've got a web browser you should try a web browser
Starting point is 00:18:46 Mm-hmm. Oh, you want to do it yourself. I want to do it myself. Okay. It kind of excites me. Mm-hmm. I can see that, yeah. It's actually a real rush.
Starting point is 00:18:59 We could probably arrange for something like that. There are a lot of, like, empty abandoned spaces we could start squatting in, and then you could, you know, carry out operations there. Because, you know, is empty. Can I record it? If you want to. I think I'd watch it all the time. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:16 And then you is, but that's the thing is you'd watch it so much that then you'd have to make more. Yeah. Because you're going to get, you're going to need a bigger rush than that one. A weekly thing. Yeah. Uh-huh. I think I'd enjoy my life more. Yeah, definitely.
Starting point is 00:19:30 And there are definitely people we could thin out of the, uh, I don't want to kill that. I don't want them to know it's me. That's part of what makes it fun. I just want to. That just a lot. You're not going to kill them. You're just going to like, you know, severe. really maim them.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Yeah. Yeah. Anonymously. It's far as it excites me. Where do they go? They'll never know who did it. They'll never think about this every day. And you should taunt them.
Starting point is 00:19:58 You should give them like clues about yourself, but that they could never actually figure out that are about you. I do reaction channels. Oh, and then if you need to throw off, you know, your scent, then you can just start framing your friends. I mostly cover Marvel News. I do breakdowns and endings explained. When he killed that bug, that was so fun.
Starting point is 00:20:27 I know. He's great. I hope that he's not actually leaving for real. What have I done? Because he's so much fun. I love him so much. He's perfect for the cast. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:20:38 He perfectly fits in. He does, and I really, like, I could see it being just like a few episodes, but part of me is like, I can see him just being part of the show for. forever he's he's he's he adds a great amount of like unpredictable life to any pairing they do with him as long as they don't make him the star yeah like he like if you do too much of him in a row it can be overwhelming but if you're like you know you have a few episodes that are focused on him don't make it the hangover three where you take the side character who works because they're a side character and then you make them the lead all right let's do a patron the day show
Starting point is 00:21:16 every pixel my baker if there's anyone we would kidnap and beat up anonymously it would be you let's test that pixel might this is going to be a growing experience for you maybe you'll overpower us and get out of it you know and then where would we be keep going that's right man we're going to we're going to come to like where you work maybe we're going to put a bag on your head and we're going to transport you but we're going to do it really gently because we don't want to hurt you until we intended to hurt you so towing that good line of uh i don't think you should tell it i think you got to go into getting canceled pledged yeah yeah yeah absolutely so we're going to take you to an undisclosed location we're just going to like throw you on the ground and
Starting point is 00:22:03 be like ha ha ha this is what you get for joining the patreon everett baker and then you're going to be like oh i only join one patreon i bet i know who's behind this and we're going to be like no-uh and that's the point at which we start like you kicking you and then maybe we'll get like a blow torch and we'll like burn you with the blow torch and then we'll we'll start whipping out like more creative things like we'll get like a medieval flail out there we go finally yeah we'll take it so long yeah yeah we'll get some like leather whips and stuff like that and then we'll hook you up to a car battery yeah and then we'll get some some live piranhas and we're gonna you know put them all over you and
Starting point is 00:22:43 We're going to cover you in something tasty. We're going to cover you in chum and fish guts. So the piranhas are just like, oh, we've got to eat this guy right here right now. And we're going to film it. We're going to put on the internet. We're going to sell it as a live stream here on YouTube. And then get demonetized. And then we're going to flee and then come back in different clothes enmassed.
Starting point is 00:23:05 And it'd be like, Everett. Is that you? Are you okay? Did someone? Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Here, let's take you to the hospital. And they tried to frame us.
Starting point is 00:23:13 We're heroes then. And then we're heroes for saving your life. And then, yeah. That you'll have to stay pledged because we saved you. That was disgusting and I'm sorry. That was gross. You went too far. I'm leaving the show.
Starting point is 00:23:26 All I had to say was thank you, Everett. Thank you, Everett. Now you've made him very uncomfortable. Watch the review so that you understand the contest. If you didn't watch the reviews, you just skipped to your shout out. You're going to be like, what the hell was that about? no we you know we love you it's all it's it's jokes we're done thank you ever
