Yeah, so Chuckie is definitely my favorite. It's not only my favorite horror franchise. It is now officially my favorite franchise of all time. Yeah. I love the Chucky movies as much as Tara does. It's like, I don't know, I feel like we found a connection through the Chucky movies and it's like difficult that we watched it so early on in our

Shijak journey because nothing compares to you. Like it is just, it's the perfect for us. I think it's the perfect balance of scary, funny. But it's not a, it's not a horror comedy in the way that it's not scary movie where it's like that right but it's it's not like we love nightmare on elm street

and we loved um the evil death franchise and we also love purge and we love all the things that we've watched right the 13th but this is scary not as scary as those movies no it's just fun scary i man like chucky is our boyfriend totally absolutely like and and also when uh brad doriff's daughter that that movie i don't know if that's the third one you guys know i'm bad with the numbers on it. I loved that movie specific she's so good and then she returns in the end

one when they kill her therapist. What about when she is her dad when Fiona Dorff did grab that was like and we didn't even know with her until the comments told us. We didn't. The other thing that we loved so much about the Chucky franchise I think was just

intriguing too. Great writing. As opposed to Evil Dead, which was like, you know, Evil Dead reminded me, you know those movies, I guess like Gremlin stuff, that completely changed genres from one to two. Like, sometimes Evil Dead was so funny. Yeah.

And sometimes Evil Dead was like... So serious. So scary. Totally. So horrifying. So crazy. That's why I feel like some people they have the argument where they're like, one is better and then other people are like, heck no, I put number two at the top. And some people put the recent ones at the top. Exactly.

Because that recent one was scary as hell. We both were terrified. Terrified. We were so scared. That remake was so good. that two is so much scarier than one. But nothing affected Greg and I more than watching what happened to the one woman hung upside down in the first one. You all know what the scene I'm talking about. The bedroom scene is way longer and two. It's way more gruesome. We keep going back to it.

It is terrifying. But I think Greg and I were not prepared for what the first one. I think just like the cutting down of someone's genitalia. A woman like that upside down. And then seeing that, I was like. That's what happens?

They hang her upside down and then they cut her open from her vagina to her head. It was too. Yeah, it was too. And you see it. And you're watching it. It was like literally that moment where I was like, if I was by myself, I would turn this movie up. No, thank you. But that is also the moment that I really thought like this, there's no way that this is as low budget than I think.

And then when we found out it was $35,000, I was like, this is insane. Did they spend all their money on a process? aesthetic vagina? Dude, it's not the only, but he did the director. Damien did all of the effects. He did the editing. He did the directing.

He wrote it. He did the entire thing. That man's a genius. Oh, wow. He's an absolute genius. Scary. I mean, I really like the second one. I started going down the rabbit hole

of looking up lore and theories on, like, my own time. I was just like, I wanted to listen to podcasts about this and stuff. But I also love just, like, he knows what he's doing. And this is not for everybody, but watch it. I mean, it's crushing the box office. Apparently, for Terrifier fans, it's pretty inspiring what he did because the first one, he wanted to just do a film and he had the makeup experience, which obviously was showcased, but he wasn't a fan of the way he wrote the movie.

So then for Terrifier 2, he really studied screenwriting a lot and would listen to, like, interviews. So he really wanted to up his game. And character arcs. Yeah, he really, like, went out of his way, like, I'm going to become a better writer. And he did. And it's like, whoa, that's, and then Terifier 3 is the best receipts. one of them all.
