All right, so are you ready to take this journey into Crackenland?
Let's go. Where's a Crackenland?
They live in the sea, in the deep, you know, maybe the Aegean, if we're going by like Greek mythology, or maybe like...
Ron Joxy, baby, let's go down under.
This was very, very fun, and I do enjoy this artwork.
Yeah, the art is cool, too.
It definitely is cool.
It almost looks like an initial concept art or something, the way they're doing this.
We just watched Ruby Gilman Teenage Cracken.
You did it.
Ruby Gilbert Teenage Cracken.
After seeing it, you would hope that I would know the name in the movie.
If you guys are listening to us on.
La Condor.
That was Lana Condor?
Lonnie Collette.
Tony Colette.
I can totally hear it now.
I'm so upset with us.
Okay.
Annie Murphy, you got it, all right, all right.
It was only because of the voice was
Sam Richardson, we got there, good one, good one, good one.
We got there.
Let's see, Eliza Koshy.
Who is that?
Oh, my God, I should have gotten that one.
Well, Forte, we could.
Well, Forte.
Oh, yeah, I called him.
I had Coleman Domingo, I was right.
Wow, that Coleman Domingo poll was really good.
Yeah, it's partly because he's in Spider-Man.
Yeah, really good.
Everyone's doing a good job.
And Jane Fonda, you got it.
Hers was the easiest to identify,
Why, because I'm a big Jane Fonda fan.
I have a really hard time.
I'm a Jane Fanda, for sure.
I'm a big Jane Fanda.
Guys, if you are watching this alongside us,
and don't forget, if you haven't already to like and comment,
how do you feel about it?
If you're listening on Apple or Spotify, five stars.
That's what we like to see.
And don't forget about our sick merch.
I'm reaching for my hat, John, RejectNation Shop.com.
Wow, look you there.
Follow us on social at Real Rejects on all platforms.
All right, my dude, I want to hear your, as we're watching these credits, these trailers, trailer after the movie, the credits right now.
What is your initial gut thoughts on how you're feeling?
I'm feeling good.
I enjoyed this.
I enjoy a lot of just the things that comprise what this is in general, you know, like selling me on a whimsical world that has something to do with, you know, mythical sea creatures and crypto zoological entities.
and whatnot. It's pretty fun. And I like, you know, the little seaside town that they're in and, like,
little designs of the different homes and stuff like that. And, too, the way that the textures and all
that in the animation have grown over time and you have, you know, something that is obviously heavy
on, like, water simulations, but also just, again, every little room and her clothes and their, you know,
little tendrils and things and the food, like, everything had such, to me, appealing and lovely
textures and stuff. I wanted to like jump in and walk around in this. And that always makes me
happy. I feel like that's totally. Oh, there's a Nicole buyer in there too. Okay. Um, Juju
Green. Straw Hat, Goofy. Are you serious? I think. Who was he? Who's a gym teacher and somebody else?
I mean, unless there are more than one juju green walk around. Oh yeah. That's so funny. Well done,
dude. That's always bestie, right? Yeah. And, uh, I mean, the voice cast as well, I thought was very
fun and appealing. And yeah, I liked, I enjoyed this quite a bit. It, you know, didn't take me out too much feeling like, oh, this is this movie or that movie. Like, there are certain things that you can point out and go like, oh, cool, a little homage or whatever. It made me wonder what turning red is like just because of the sort of coming of age. They did feel like they had similar themes. Yeah, although I get, I guess from the vague things I've heard about turning red maybe a little more specified in one direction in that story versus this story. Yeah, that story is definitely more about like,
being like an
allegory for becoming a woman as opposed to
a girl and whatever but
this was more just kind of like
being yourself
and coming into your own
yeah and I mean theme
thematically speaking you know
I mean these are these are always
worthwhile themes I feel like
especially in a DreamWorks and especially having
seen the crudes just recently that was a movie
that very clearly articulated
what the themes
the handful of themes the movie was
largely dealing with we're about in the dialogue and this is aiming again a little bit more
tween teenage a little less directly i think toward a younger audience did you prefer this
yeah i mean in a different it's weird like they're they're both kind of aiming at me in different
directions this one is more uh uh complex i guess in what it's laying out there i think the biggest
obstacle for me with the cruz is that like it is like very clear what the again it's like
everything new is bad and we got to stick to the cave and then
And you're clearly going to watch a story about people learning to embrace the chance of life, branch out.
Sometimes that will mean danger, but it's also, you know, part of the dues you pay to get the beautiful life experiences rather than just surviving every day.
This, yeah, I liked a lot of what it was about and the way it portrayed like the difficulties of like, yeah, how do you, you know, give somebody their own little life and not burden them with too much crazy information about, like,
like, oh, what's your birthright and your lineage and all this stuff that you're born into that you have no control over?
You know, how do you, when is the right time to talk about that?
Like, you know, that stuff with the whole lying by omission.
As much as, like, it was very obvious, the whole, like, omission thing is an example of them going, here's the theme.
I thought that idea was good.
And, yeah, that other idea, like, sort of familiar idea of, like, the character who is told to, you know, play it safe and don't go too far from home and definitely don't go over here.
and you know that adventure and coming of age
and, you know, growth will come by doing exactly that
and letting go of this cling to freedom.
My main sort of question mark that I'm still chewing on
is I think the most interesting thing it stabs at,
which is the whole like,
Kraken's are misunderstood, we are these mythical protectors,
and you hint at for a moment,
yeah, there's the Leviathan, and there's this,
and there's this, this, this, this.
And they left these seeds in there.
that had me convinced of something a little bit more complex and interesting,
which was like, okay, well, grandma's talking about the mermaids and these other creatures.
And clearly, we have reason to trust her,
but we also have reason to believe that she could have some kind of ulterior motive.
We don't exactly know what mom's deal is.
And I like that they kept subverting, like, mom is actually going to listen.
She's not just going to berate you or whatever, you know,
and those moments would catch me.
And with the mermaid girl, I was like, oh, maybe this could be a real friend.
friendship or something. But then having it come
around to just like, nah, mermaids are evil though.
Like it seemed a little
odd and you only meet one
and by the end she's still like around
and she's in the cage and she's just like
ostensibly just like more normal and less
powered up. But like that was a part
of the movie where I was like oh maybe we're going to go for
like an interesting
resolution that's like
I like all three of them coming together
and you know unleashing their power and
learning to all listen to each other and
given taken places and all that but i was sort of expecting them because of what they set up
and how they set it up and how they were articulating things to maybe have like a more
interesting conversation about like well maybe we don't need to be sworn enemies as these
races of creatures rather maybe this conflict that whole thing about like grandma you just like to
fight i'm fighting for this life that i created and i didn't want to be burdened by all this so i
like solved the problem or i at least neutralized the weapon and then i went and made a choice
about who I want to be and like that's cool but like yeah I don't know I feel like there's
this Pandora's box of like interesting stuff that we could have done with like but who are
the mermaids really and why does this conflict exist and what is just passed down what what rage
and what prejudice is passed down from just perspectives clashing over so much time and like
that's really there at as a present as like an idea that you could get out of it I don't think
it really goes there ultimately but aside from that I thought this was really fun and
lovely um i'm just like yeah i'm just like a little jostled in the moment of being like oh damn they're
really gonna oh i guess not yeah i think you and i have pretty much the exact same feelings about
this on the one hand i feel two things at the same time on the one hand i'm never going to be
upset with an animation movie that keeps it tight this movie felt like an hour long you know this
was an hour 31 minutes but that's with everything really we had an hour and 20
minute of story here and it was so tight it didn't overstay it's welcome it didn't pretend to be
something that it's not uh it had really cool visuals i think that it had a lead character
that i thought was really endearing and sweet uh it had girl power it had the power of friendship
um with her OG friends and forgiveness you know um telling your real friends your truth and hoping
that they don't judge you for you know had a lot of that beauty to it yeah and for that
i really think this was a really cute movie yeah that if somebody was like oh i love this movie i'd be
like i totally see why and so many great little details right like really a lot of tLC women
yes definitely especially with like you and i both mentioned throughout the textures and the way
things looked i feel like they really really understood what they wanted this world to look like
and then went above and beyond to create the little extra details to make it like even um with her
best friend with her pink bun on top of her head like it's not just a full messy bun that it's an open
loop bun you know that there was just really it was very specific yeah uh with the fog that we see
with the design was really really great yeah the way it has this like bubbly it's bright and
appealing but it's also borrowing just enough from like classic yeah yeah aesthetics of ships and
lighthouses yeah and so like you know redheaded mermaid like things like that so i really loved a lot
of that. On the other hand,
I do feel like
in a movie where we're clearly
trying to say,
don't judge a book by its cover.
At the end,
I guess
the mermaid, you can't judge her by the
cover because she's really the opposite.
But I really was hoping
for something a little more complex
for me personally to put
this from just good to great
because I feel
like there is no
there really isn't much black and white
anymore and in this where we're discussing
war
where they
refer to it as the war
of the crackins and the mermaids
I feel like
this movie made a point to say
the crackens are 100%
in the right in this war
and the mermaids are 100%
in the wrong in this war
and humans are inconsequential
and humans are inconsequential
and I think it would have been cooler
if we came to some
kind of a resolution where it was
I didn't understand your point
or what you needed or
I wasn't willing to compromise. Maybe we
can join together. But this really
was like, no, she's evil and
we're good. So, you
know, but you don't get, I didn't
write this movie. So just because it didn't
give the lesson that I was kind of like hoping
doesn't mean it's not a worthwhile and
really cute movie. It just would have been
more elevated for me if we
had, if it was a little more
gray and a little less black and white.
Yeah, yeah, because I mean, I think it is kind of, I think this element gets a little vague, but they do touch on the idea of like, you know, in lore, yeah, like on land, you know, humans are like, oh, crackens are scary monsters and mermaids are, you know, alluring and have this mystique and they're beautiful and, you know, they lure sailors in.
So it's like I can see how the black and whiteness of the resolution still works.
Absolutely.
But if you...
It does work.
But if your brain, and especially maybe if you're, like, young, I don't know, it's interesting because then I think, like, if you're younger and you're watching this and you're starting to put an idea together, but then it kind of, not that this is going to, like, influence your life in that way.
It could. That's what art does.
But, yeah, in a collective way, it adds another brick and stuff like that.
So, yeah, I mean, it does seem like it would have been nice for them to acknowledge, like, oh, you know, these folk tales that are told are not altogether accurate, you know, like, you know, in some way.
because again that speaks to the idea of like where prejudice comes from and how it grows and and you know in a movie that clearly seems to be wanting to have you know a broad array of types of characters and types of people on the land already like the land is so it just on the human side is like there's a little bit every kind of person here and everyone's just kind of coexisting and that's cool which is like rad and i thought we were kind of using the yeah the the different creatures as like a play into that kind of metaphor uh and so yeah it's like if
If you're trying, and if you're still discovering these ideas to, like, map, I don't know, those kinds of things over the messaging, it doesn't really work so much.
But, yeah, it's that idea of don't, yeah, don't, a monster might not be a monster and some beautiful siren might not actually be that beautiful thing on the inside.
And you should be cautious.
Yeah, cautious about it.
My favorite aspect of the entire movie was Ruby's relationship with her mother because,
Parenting at its best should be a support system for you to go to when you're not sure what is right or what to do.
Yeah.
And I do feel like this did a great job of showing a parent when Ruby comes and she's messed up, who is like, I will wait here with you as long as it takes.
You know, mother-daughter stuff always really gets to me.
But in this scenario, when she gets in her hand and they're sitting there and she really supports her, even though.
Ruby's done exactly what her mother asked her not to do that happens to all teenagers that happens to all kids at some point you're going to do something that your parent told you told you not to do that's just very classic and how the parent reacts to it is their job to be the parent still and to put you first still and so I thought that that was really really well done and then that same theme comes back when Jane Fonda at the end is like a mother knows best you know so I I I
I did like that storyline, and I do think when a lot of animated movies are out there saying, like, parents don't know best.
Make your own way.
This one did say, like, go to your parents if you need support.
Go to a safe space for you.
Yeah, I like that they made the choice not to do the stereotypical mom thing where, like, they kept getting really nice subversions out of that whole.
Like, yes, this is a very intense situation.
Yes, you did what I told you not to do, but also, like, what matters most is that you're safe.
and that I care and that we work through this you know we this is how it is now so we just have to
meet that rather than channeling our rage at that and and yeah some of the best articulations and
some of the most interesting ideas are the motherhood to daughter and grandmother to all of that
kind of exploration there and and I mean yeah the movie isn't about the mom and grandma so much so
it makes more sense that that resolution would be a little bit more brief but yeah that whole thing
about like I got caught into this thing that you heaped upon me and that there is the hazard
that you might want to heap upon my daughter and you know I have overstepped in trying to
control her life but it's kind of not it's based on what you did to me but I also at least
mitigated some of that while still kind of perpetuating the cycle like that's lifey and that's
interesting and that's yeah some of the stuff that struck me the most and that was the richest
And then, yeah, you know, you had a bunch of other just fun supporting characters and stuff like that.
Like, I really liked what was his name, Arthur, hubby, brill, uncle.
Last time I talked to you guys about liquid IV, I had just started incorporated it into my new diet that started on January 25th.
A little over a month later, 19 pounds lighter, more to go.
I'm proud to say I still take one to two of these a day.
I'm going to show you guys two different sets here.
This unopened one and this opened ones.
What's the difference?
This is what they sent me.
This is what I had already purchased.
I love that we get to work with them because I already use their products.
And I promise you, literally take their sugar-free one at least once a day, minimum.
Sweating a lot more, doing a lot more cardio.
So hydration is very important.
I really feel like it helps me in my mental clarity.
And if you guys don't know what liquid IV is, they're a hydration multiplier that delivers electrolytes and essential nutrients faster than water alone.
Everything they promote, I do feel the physical effects of it.
They boost hydration fast.
Any one of these sticks give you two to three times the hydration of water alone.
I think it's perfect for post-workout.
Nice boost of energy.
Helps when I'm feeling sluggish.
Recover faster.
It's convenient.
It tastes great.
Sometimes you can mix it with a protein shake.
We usually just pop it on one of these, shake it with some ice and water, and I'm good to go.
So whether you're working out, cutting calories, or just pushing through a busy day.
This is one of the easiest ways to give your body what it needs to feel at its best.
Right now, you can get 20% off when you go to Liquidiv.com and use code rejects.
checkout. That's 20% off at anything you order when you use code rejects at liquid ivy.com. And yes,
I use that code myself. So you can hydrate smarter. You can feel better. And hopefully just like me,
you'll feel the difference. True story, Reject Nation. I was over there editing, drinking this
hule right here. Then got an email saying they'd like to re-up with us. And I was like,
perfect. Turn the camera on people. Because I would love to talk about them. Why? Because I have some
pretty serious health and weight loss goals. On January 25th, I weighed 218 pounds. And on the day of filming
this, I currently weigh 199.3. There's more goals. I got to go hit. But you know what? In this time
of goal hitting, I think I've been drinking a couple of times a week, more than a couple. Hewle.
It isn't just an open bottle.
He's about to make sure you can see it. Anyway, Hewles Black Edition, ready to drink is a meal
and a bottle. To pack with 35 grams of protein, 27 essential vitamins and minerals, slow,
release carbs. So you're not just filling up, you're fueling up. And here's why I keep coming back
to it. I feel like it's a great incorporation. I mean, obviously it's efficient. There's no cooking
time, no prep time. Grab it, drink it, done. Another very important factor is you want to find
ready to go food that actually tastes great. And fuel does taste great. Smooth, no chalky aftertaste,
low sugar, high protein, great macros. I'm able to fit it into my plan without ruining my
progress. Another thing, too, heals pretty affordable. Each bottle is under five bucks. Making it an easy
choice for anyone who's looking for a quick, nutritious meal. Honestly, it's a brand I would love to
keep partnering with because I'm feeling pretty great about the progress I've been making and I'm
glad that I could be like, yeah, this is actually a thing that I take a few times a week.
So if you want to give it a try, you can go to huel.com, use my code rejects and get 15% off

That's huel.com code rejects.
Feel your body, even on the go.
Here's hoping you love it.
I like the dude whose hair covered his whole eyes.
Yeah, man.
Trevin or whatever name is.
That's very high school.
I did expect to see Trevin and the other girl Bestie, like, you know, because they had that moment that they were going to prom together and they're like...
But just his friends.
Yeah.
But just we're just going to go as friend.
I thought we were going to see like a little romance or something.
Or was Trevin his name?
It was Trevin the name of the guy that Liza Cochie or whatever was going with.
No, Trevin's the hair guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
With a cool Matrix suit at the end.
All things considered, like if I, if somebody wanted to watch.
watch this again. I would definitely put it back on. I thought it was really visually pleasing. I love the music, which we haven't spoken about much in this review portion, but we definitely did talk about throughout some really fun tunes. A lot of my preference with animation is rock and roll, as I'm sure yours is oftentimes, just because I'm a rocker at my heart. But I thought that these were really beautiful pop songs that kind of like understood the tone of this and lyrically went along with the messaging. And I was like, okay, this is really cute.
matches the neon and the shimmer and a lot of the aesthetics that they go for and it matches the age group with who is the target i feel like for this too so yeah it's like yeah like i'm not always the expert on like what makes the best needle drop but uh i thought everything here was like nicely chosen and too i like that yeah they gave a little time for like especially the first time she's sort of getting to know her power and she's following brill out to the you know layer and stuff like that you could actually enjoy that for at least a few minutes and then uh you know the two all that stuff with like the neon
like artwork and creatures and the way like the lore is being told when the grandma's talking to
her about the history which is like one of those really cool animated movie things and two throughout
like they worked in some nice like uh different approaches to animation different flourishes that
look like oh that looks like something that she would be drawing in her notebook or oh this looks
like it's out of one of her little videos like when she makes the prom pitch at the beginning
like the little earmarks like that are fun to me because yeah it's like oh chance to nod to
their kinds of animation and also keep the visuals interesting and and lively and again like yeah for
for as much as there are things I wish this I feel like this movie is more than capable of and maybe
wanted to have like a more sophisticated act three which which sounds mean no I know what you're
saying though but if they're not going to do that at least they kept a brief yeah yeah yeah
drag us to that play and it's like everything else yeah it's like super fun and breezy like I
would definitely wouldn't be mad to watch this again I would be
thrilled to see another one, you know, even.
Well, let me ask you that.
So this came out in 2023,
which very much means that we're still in sequel territory.
Has there, do we know if there's been any kind of...
I don't know a thing?
I would be down.
Shall I look?
Look it up.
Shall I see?
Maybe get us a factoid or two and see if there's going to be a ruby
Gilman 2, bioluminescent boogaloo.
I think it would be fun to focus on the brother, but let's see.
Ruby Gilman, Teenage Cracken 2 is a proposed sequel,
but there's no official announcement about a release date yet.
Okay.
So it sounds like could be in the talks.
I mean, we just helped them out with another stream, so.
Yeah, that's true.
Also, just a shout out, because I know we mentioned it during,
but a lot of animation is too scared still to have any queer characters.
So I thought that that was cool, like,
and the way that they just said it's so normally.
she was like oh yeah
whoever her girlfriend or whatever
asked me the problem and I said yes
yeah and it just was normalized and I was like
good I mean it shouldn't have to be like good on you
but like good it's just part of high school life
so yeah I was glad that they
threw in that line
it was nice to
it didn't seem to self
please didn't seem too pleased with itself for doing so
it just kind of did it just like it just part of it again
it seems very authentically like yeah
it just kind of very diverse
place that they live you know and then yeah there's a lot of different kind of people here
like that's fun it doesn't seem to be much trivia about this you know when you go to i mdb and you
look at the trivia and there's like usually a thousand thumbs up or 800 all of these have
four thumbs up or three thumbs up so we'll see if we can get anything fun at all
anything reliable i'll find i'll still dig a total of 870 people are involved in the making of
this film damn not bad that's a lot that's a small army the poster that ruby gilman is sitting and
lying down on the side of the bridge
is an homage to Spider-Man homecoming
parodying Ruby with her
headphones and jackets similar to Tom Holland's
Peter Parker. Wow. I didn't notice
that. Okay. This is DreamWork Animation's
first film targeting to a teen
and young adult demographic as opposed
to the usual kids and family demographic
on all of their films. That tries.
You kind of mentioned that a little bit
throughout. It feels like it, yeah.
At 31 years... It's weird. You asked
like, which do you prefer this is the Cruz? And I'm like,
well, the Crudes, I knew what was
pretty much going to happen, you know, minus a couple of suspense things and like it did the thing and it was good at doing the thing. And it was like it's pretty good, but it's also like clearly not written with, you know, you and mind. Yeah, it's clearly written for younger audiences to understand and to clearly grasp the ideas. Whereas here, yeah, it seems like at least for a good amount of it, it's like, oh yeah, they do seem to want to, you know, go a little more granular, go a little bit more opaque and nuanced and things like that. It feels like the third.
Third act kind of brought it back around to just like full-on family movie,
whereas the first two-thirds feel more like that teen, young adult audience.
But yeah, definitely seemed to parent.
This is a really weird stat that I'm pretty surprised about.
At 31 years old, Farron Pearl became the youngest female ever to direct a feature animated film.
Let's go.
I mean, this had lots of punch, man.
But then when we were watching this, I remember.
remember it said that Kirk
De Miko or
Micho is who directed it. So I was
like, huh, but they co-directed. It looks like
he directed and she co-directed.
But I didn't see her in the credit. I saw his name
but I don't know. But that's interesting. At 31
and no shade
to that, I'm 33.
But at 31, that's the youngest female
to ever directed animated feature. That's kind of wild.
It is kind of wild. We've got to get younger now.
18-year-old animated director.
I'm saying.
Hot off the presses.
No film school, no nothing.
This is the first original film that's completely made entirely at DreamWorks animation, Glendale,
without PDI's involvement, as the Redwood City location was shut down eight years earlier due to company restructuring.
Damn, let's go, Glendale.
Killing it.
She can get some good work done in Glendale.
Let's see.
Gordon Lighthouse's name is a clear reference to musician Gordon Lightfoot.
who coincidentally passed away
about two months
before this film was released.
No.
Gordon Lightfoot never got to see it.
Well, we don't know.
It was two months before this was released.
They flew a copy out too.
Possibly.
Early rough cut.
This is Annie Murphy's major
motion picture film debut.
Okay.
I would believe, yeah.
It didn't hit me, but I would believe that
actually, yeah, because what, she's been coming up
on TV.
This one is,
tell me if you want to guess this or not.
Dreamwork animations, blank,
theatrically released feature film
like how many how
which one of this is there
how many dream work animation
films has there been that this was
their what do you want to guess or let me
tell you
it's like their 17th
this is our 44
oh wow I was way off
I was way off of that I would have
said seven I didn't know
I remember when I asked you I was like how many are there
I made 44 theatrical
release movie. Listen to what this says. DreamWorks animation's 44th
theatrically released feature film and 45th overall feature film. DreamWorks has a
non-animated film? I guess
maybe, or is it one of those movies it's like largely live action
but like a goosebumps where like there's a bunch of bunch of DreamWorks
films. That's as goosebumps isn't because I think that was like a Sony or something.
Of all DreamWorks. I mean, when did DreamWorks even start? Somehow I didn't realize
they made quite that many movie. Part of me was
It was like, did they acquire some stuff and, like, distribute it?
But I didn't feel like that was their bag.
Here I go.
Oh, no.
Starting with, I'm just going to list it.
Let's go.
Here we go.
Wild Robot.
Monsters versus aliens.
Sharktail.
Home, Mega Mind.
Shrek forever after.
Puss and Boots.
Oh, we did that.
We did Last Wish, yeah.
And we did Megamind.
Kung Fu Panda.
Fleshed away.
Rise of the Guardians.
Bee movie.
I haven't seen any of these.
Penguins.
Penguins in Madagasc.
The Bad Guys, How to Train Your Dragon,
Shrek, the Third, Madagascar 3,
Europe's Most Wanted.
How to Trade Your Dragon, The Hidden World, Trolls, Over the Head,
Shrek, Kung Fu Panda 4, Turbo, the Crudes, the Crews to New Age,
How Do You Train Your Dragon, Too?
Goss Baby, Puss and Boots, Last Wish,
Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
That's right, they did.
I don't know what that is.
Quiet, you.
Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron with Matt Damon.
That was a drone animation movie.
Wow.
So maybe that's the one other...
I keep forgetting that they didn't only ever do C.G.
Kung Fu Panda 3.
Madagascar 2 Escape Africa.
Shrek 2.
Abominable.
That's right.
There's a lot of...
Trolls World Tour.
The Prince of Egypt.
I covered that here too.
It's a good-ass movie.
Trolls band together.
Madagascar.
Captain Underpans.
Boss Baby, aunts.
Kungu Panda again.
Joseph King of Dreams.
Orion and the Dark, Sinbad, El Dorado, Teenage Cracken, which we just watched.
Wallace and Gromit, the curse of the Rear Rabbit.
They must have just distributed that, though.
They didn't animate that.
See, that's, okay.
They're like a, I mean, and flushed away is also an artman adjacent production.
I want to tell you guys, I have to apologize, because I don't even know if this is accurate.
I wrote List and this said what to watch, so I just read the ones that were on here, but.
I'm like just wild, I'm sitting here going, this is wild robot.
Do you guys know that new AI Google thing that they do?
Yes, where they fill it in.
So oftentimes they're wrong.
Okay.
What we need to do.
I'm sorry, it could be wrong.
Since we're here now, we're committed to this.
We need to go to the Wikipedia page for DreamWorks Animation.
That's smarter.
I wasted your eyes as time.
No, no, no.
You simply gave us the conduit to getting the truth.
All right, let's see.
Which is always important.
Let's see, DreamWorks Animation, Wikipedia.
Here we go.
What do we got?
Smarter way to go about it.
Okay, okay.
A lot of these, I said.
Let's see.
I mean, a lot of them are, okay, here's the release timeline.
Ants, the Prince of Egypt, the Rodel de Lerada.
I love ants.
That's their first movie?
Chicken Run, yeah, I guess so.
I loved Chicken Run.
Is it?
I guess it must be, right?
Well, yeah, chicken run.
And that's an Ardman.
Like, again, Ardman would have done so much of the animation, but it's in partnership with DreamWorks.
So I guess it counts.
Joseph King of Dreams.
Shrek, Spirit, Salis, the Simmeron.
Sin Bad Ladin? We're just rereading.
Let's see if we come across anything that you
didn't say. But hey, maybe the thingy
worked. That's all of them. Yeah,
it looks like actually. Except for Dogman.
What's that? Oh, that's coming out this year.
That just came out. Yeah, Shrek 5. This is including
something out yet. Well, they have four movies coming out this year.
Dogman, How to Train Your Dragon, the Bad Guys,
too, and Gabby's Dollhouse, the movie.
Yeah. I mean, you know,
DreamWorks is out here.
They're the most, I feel like,
prolific non-Disney animation
house, right? Because I mean, Blue Sky.
isn't a thing anymore got folded in and I mean I know there's Sony pictures animation but I don't think they've done quite as many
it's so crazy because Disney has Disney animation and Pixar so they just really corner the market but yeah the I mean it feels like their big home runs are Shrek and how to train your dragon
Kung Fu Panda Madagascar hasn't there hasn't been one in a while trolls is a franchise and has like spun off on a video they got some big ones they got some big boys what's your
favorite DreamWorks movie
let us know in the comments
maybe there's some other ones that we
could cover in the future which we'd be
happy to do John anything else
you want to tell the people
I love all of you
and thanks for unlocking
your inner teenage girl
cracking with us and I'm
excited to watch another one of these
with you this is so fun we get some fun
ones we don't get to do like videos
all the time but Drippy Moist is always
a good time I asked what everybody's team
name was before and you and I didn't
even say Ron Jockey. Because we already
knew. And we got two of them.
We're Driffy Moist for Ron Jockey. And we're kind
of the damp Jaxe. Yeah, I know.
Which I'm very grateful that we get to
do that. You know. So if you guys want more
Ron Jaxi, then make sure that you
check out some of our vampire stuff. Twilight,
Nosephratu, all the stuff that's
very similar to this. A young
adult, you know?
So, so. Ruby Gilman's
reading Twilight. You know she's reading Twilight.
Oh, I bet. Actually, her friend with the
catastrophizing yeah that's so funny even though twilight is also a construct of the patriarchy
this we know this we know all right see you next time later rejects moi
