We dive into the intense new trailer that drops Hawkins in Fall 1987, scarred by Rifts and under military quarantine, as our heroes—including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven, Enola Holmes), David Harbour (Hopper, Black Widow), Winona Ryder (Joyce, Beetlejuice), Finn Wolfhard (Mike, It), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), Noah Schnapp (Will), Sadie Sink (Max), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Charlie Heaton (Jonathan), Joe Keery (Steve), Maya Hawke (Robin), Priah Ferguson (Erica), Brett Gelman (Murray), Cara Buono (Karen), Amybeth McNulty (Vickie), Nell Fisher (Holly)—band together to locate and defeat the hidden Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) who ominously resurfaces saying “Found you!”, while Max remains comatose under Lucas's protection and Lucas drills deeper into character through that emotional Lucas‑Max hospital escape sequence; the trailer teases epic return scenes including Mike’s gang in the radio station, Hopper’s grenade toss, Demodog attacks, and Eleven in sensory tank, plus haunting callbacks like the altered Eddie Munson grave (“Burn in Hell”) and a bathtub breath‑hold moment by Karen & Holly, all scored to Deep Purple’s “Child in Time.” We also spot iconic new additions like Linda Hamilton (Terminator) as Dr. Kay, Jake Connelly as Derek Turnbow, and Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers, setting up final‑season stakes. With Hawkins quarantined, portals open, and Vecna returning, this trailer sets the tone for a massive conclusion to the Stranger Things saga—spreading across Vol. 1 (November 26), Vol. 2 (December 25), and the series finale (New Year’s Eve), culminating in a showdown more epic than ever—how much deeper can the Upside Down get?! Cast highlighted: Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Nell Fisher, Jamie Campbell Bower, Linda Hamilton, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux. what did you think about this trailer? That slapped pretty hard man. Yeah it's had a lot of
moves. That's an intense trailer. John what did did you what did you was your biggest takeaway from it?
Just the epic scope of thing.
I mean, this is the kind of trailer I enjoy and partly, you know, it's
not easier, but for, you know, a show you have more to draw from
without necessarily having to spoil as much as in a movie.
And so I like that, you know, this trailer was mostly just vibes and images.
And it feels
like yes the culmination we see a little bit of most everybody and yeah I like this sort
of motif of this radio station whatever that has to do you know it seems like every season
has its own addition to the lore of Hawkins in the
surrounding areas about like oh
you know the mall in season 3
and you know
season 2 it's like oh summertime
and stuff like that you're by the pool
and here yeah I don't know just like to
complete the 80s
nostalgia circuit some kind of
like radio station based
frequency related things seem just like a neat motif and yeah, it's like epic looks monstrous in a lot of ways.
What do you think? I think there's a lot to take away from this trailer. They think it's
a pretty good indicators of stuff that's going on after the events of four when the rifts open.
And it looks like the entire town of Hawkins, like you're talking about specific locations
within Hawkins and now it looks like all of Hawkins will be a big part of the character and backdrop again, which is a good book and because that was like how season one felt and then to have that for this season where everything's under like a military quarantine or rule like yeah, this is ground zero for shit that's going to go down and I don't know exactly what what he says found you at the end back now could be
some some some part of my brains like could he potentially be referring to max instead of
11 like 11 makes the most sense that that's the one that we're off we're like
Yes, that makes the absolute most sense and most likely but just with some of the images we got from max like at one
Point I think we saw even Max in like a bathtub
Being held under there like hiding from something and I couldn't quite tell her
I couldn't tell if it was actually her young girl redhead. So I'd assume it was her and then
It looked like her to me and then it looked like
either her mom or Will's mom
Quite tell what was happening.
And then Nancy and Jonathan are talking at one point.
And then later on, her hands are all bloodied up.
And so I feel like there's a hint
that they could, Jonathan could be dead or some type of death.
Some people, there's going to have
to be a body count this season.
Hopefully.
It can't just like one significant character.
I feel like half the characters maybe will live through this by the end.
Yeah, you know. Yeah.
And you know, they know that people are watching these trailers and dissecting every little second to be like we're not doing them.
Kind of just going off of memory flashes here.
A bit of cool moments because it looks like it's going to be like a
Hodgepodge and orchestra, you know, you got demigod demi dogs demigorgans And it's like there looks like there's gonna be an actual car chase scene with a demigorgon
at one point there's like this cool mirroring shot from the way a demigorgon hops and
I believe we saw either 11 like doing a crazy leap or flying. Yeah, which was a really great image
This in the algorithm for us on a recommended. There's another trailer reaction here
We're that one image of the Demogorgon plate placed reaching out against someone who's leaping to another tree
yeah, you know like there's a lot of like beauty here and
I'm not sure where some of this is going, you know?
It seems like there's going to be an element, too, of Dustin wanting redemption for Eddie.
You know, I forgot until this moment because he was saying, like,
burning hell or something. His grave, his tombstone was desecrated.
Yeah, the blood, the blood writing on the grave.
And yeah, leaving off last season with everybody, nobody in town except his dad,
basically getting to know the truth of his heroism
and stuff like that.
And there's been speculation,
like, oh, will they try to bring him back in some way?
And I am curious about that,
because clearly something like that
denotes that they know that, you know,
people still care about Eddie Munson.
Not that I'm expecting him to return
unless it's in some kind of twisted upside downy kind of way. But it would be a cool surprise because there have been
so many sort of like lovely and beloved guest characters introduced in a season only to
die in that scene. They should bring them all back. Yeah. Where's Barbat? Sean Astin,
Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, I'm all back. Yeah. Harry Harry Elvis I don't even know if he died I don't remember
Definitely need to do a rewatch show comes out in 16 weeks apparently according to my Netflix account
Oh like oh shit
He watches many as many thumbnails as we work on for a terror and answers reaction some like
Yeah, I don't really remember a lot of what happens.
Like the specifics of the earlier seasons, especially.
And so I want to revisit it.
But it looks like they're doing some like really cool bookends
here.
And it feels like I like the idea of a massive supernatural
threat that the government is trying to still keep secret
and keep under control.
It looks like they're just trying to like burn all the portals shut so they can sweep this under the rug,
but not let anyone leave Hawkins either. Yeah.
Quarantine everybody and like, that's awful.
Kind of. Yeah, like they see this terrible thing happening.
Everyone's getting exposed to the truth.
And you can't leave. Yeah.
Yeah, we got to quarantine all of the spread of anything that could be related to this,
including y'all.
Yeah.
Yeah, which is, I mean, that's in line with the shadowy sort
of conspiratorial view on any sort of government entity
this show often brings to you.
And I'm starting to feel like David Harbour's sheriff
character here and his Marvel character here
are starting to put you into one.
Yeah, Yeah.
These interesting facial hair combos and then.
Coming out of Russia in the last season,
and then my boy's having fun with the grenades.
There's a lot of Red Guardian and Hopper now.
Yeah.
It's starting to bleed through a little bit.
But it would be cool to see them do the, you know,
the final stands as like father and daughter fighting
side by side, you know, him with the cool ass gun and her just with her powers and all that.
Yeah. You know, it definitely got me excited.
And it seems like, you know, the grouping of everybody is probably going to pay off
hopefully a lot of these long enduring relationships.
You'll get all like the boys paid off together.
You got a ton of shots of them on their bikes and stuff like that.
And like all together trying to, you know,
do sci fi stuff in this.
I'm looking forward to like a Dustin and Steve, you know, wrap up or something like that, something with the group of the boys in general, obviously, 11 and then I'm really I'm hoping will actually get some real stuff to do
this season instead of just being the one with the goosebumps
on the back of his neck and the bad haircut.
I think you will.
And I think Will will.
And Mike.
I feel like Mike has not been this he was such the lead in the first season.
Yeah.
And there's a couple of characters here where,
you know, you keep them around.
You want them around.
I don't feel like you should not have Mike around,
but I think Mike too.
He hasn't been as much of a forefronted character
as I recall of, especially last season.
It felt more like, we've got to find ways to include Mike more
than actually having him feel like he's necessary,
or like his growth or his arc is like really vital to what's going on
But I think it's cool. We're gonna demonstrate the growth here
It's still kind of trippy when you see them as like a little toddlers like this is this is another version of like a Harry
Potter watching these kids grow up as these lead characters, and it's pretty trippy man
Especially when when working on the thumbnails for Darren Andrews
Netflix money to just keep them frozen in time for as long as possible.
Well there we are guys. What did you guys think about the trailer? Please leave your
honest thoughts down below. I got no gripes with this. I'm excited to see what they have
in store.
Pretty sweet.
Thank you so much for watching. I hope this trailer reaction does not block the way. We'll
see you guys soon. Peace.
