Greg Alba, Tara Erickson & Roxy Striar step into darkness with The Conjuring: Last Rites (2025), the latest—and reportedly final—installment in the Conjuring cinematic universe. Directed by Michael Chaves (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) and written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, this film brings back Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as Ed and Lorraine Warren for one last case. In Last Rites, the Warrens come out of retirement to investigate the horrifying case of the Smurl family in Pennsylvania—a haunting that pushes them to their limits, both professionally and emotionally. Mia Tomlinson joins the cast as the adult Judy Warren, whose evolving psychic powers play a major role in the conflict. Ben Hardy appears as Tony Spera, Judy’s partner and eventual ally in facing the supernatural threat. Meanwhile, Rebecca Calder and Elliot Cowan portray Janet and Jack Smurl, the couple whose home becomes the battleground for malevolent forces. Some of the most talked-about, chilling scenes include the mirror’s sinister presence, manifestations of ghostly entities within the Smurl home, intense confrontations with demonic forces, and Lorraine’s psychic visions that test the limits of her strength. The trailers tease that this installment is the “darkest” yet in the franchise, with a demon that holds personal vendettas and forces the Warrens to draw on every ounce of faith and terror. As the franchise bids farewell to Ed & Lorraine on screen, Last Rites delivers emotional weight, supernatural horror, and a climactic confrontation meant to close the chapter on their storied investigations. Starting point is 00:01:33 so this is the rejection we just watch the conjuring last rights that's the conjuring for colon the final conjuring colon until they decide they can make more money off more conjuring movies period Okay, this is our first time doing a conjuring reaction with Greg. We've been doing it She-Jex for a while, so I want to come to you first. First of all, Greg, most importantly, how do you feel about doing this with the She-Jex? Second of all, second and most importantly, how do you feel about the movie? I felt great being here.
Starting point is 00:02:12 I'm glad I could see things that you guys cannot. There was like a whole ass person at some time. Yeah, there was one point. I was like, how do you guys not see the individual who's clearly outlined right now? Didn't see it at all. No, certainly did not. I felt like I contributed to the video in that moment. I'm like, all right, I got purpose here now.
Starting point is 00:02:32 So it felt good, and it's nice being by the side of you, too. Yeah, buddy. Your thoughts and your ponderings on, let's focus on how old this person might actually be, instead of what's happening on screen for a while. Sometimes it's very important. Let's just ponder for a few minutes. You ask me if there are things I want you to pull up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Very obviously, I need to know the name, the ages of all of the actors. Yeah, yeah, yeah, very important. While you're pulling that up before I get to you, Tara, I did want to say thank you so much to Prepper for helping edit us down. I know that Greg is doing a lot of this one, too, so the combo of you guys both. Also, happy horror Thursday. We monopolize this space. This is the Sheeject Day of the week. It always will be.
Starting point is 00:03:14 We're probably putting this up on Tuesday. Happy Tuesday. Just because we've got to ride that algorithm of new VOD release. That's what happens when I try to actually. shout out the day of the week i know we all i lose track of what it is um and if you're not already follow us on at real rejects all social media platforms that's where all the good stuff is happening apple um and spotify five stars thumbs up on youtube you know the deal okay where's your age lady yeah wait let me see her face oh okay she looks younger here than she did in the movie i think
Starting point is 00:03:45 they aged her up yeah she for sure she at the wait something about the big in the glasses i just was like i can't tell. At first I thought she was the kid's grandma, but then I was like, oh, she's 44. No, okay, that's so crazy, because here she looks totally her age, but in the movie, I was like, she genuinely looks like 60. Yeah, it was so
Starting point is 00:04:04 a lot. Other than that being the most important thing, Tara, how'd you feel about conjuring 4? I actually really liked it. I had a great time. Good stuff. Nice facts. Good stuff, man. None was in there, sorry, saw Annabelle. Wait, would you say nice facts?
Starting point is 00:04:20 No, I said nice effects. Oh, effects. Like the nun was in there, we got Annabelle, we've got two kids set up to take over the franchise, maybe. We'll see. I feel, and Greg mentioned this throughout a little bit. So I feel the same way you do that I liked it, and you liked it also. But as you were mentioning throughout, I feel like we did introduce characters I cared so much about. And then they were just not relevant anymore, really.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah. But we literally kicked them out of the house. We were like, you guys go outside, we will handle this as a family. And it's kind of a bummer because, and a testament to these, these actors. Heather Smurrow. Yeah. Killal Lord. Heather Smurl.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Taylor Smurl. Heather Smurl. Taylor and Bo. Those two sisters. And the younger ones were great too, but they were so good. Especially that one scene with Bo. That was Don. Yeah, with Bo at the table.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Exactly. where I was genuinely like, whoa, this family, I want to know more about them. And then I, of course, love sticking with Ed and Lorraine. And I love the addition of really getting more Judy in there. But we had two stories going next to each other simultaneously, both that I cared about. And so because of that, I feel like I didn't get enough of either at some times, even though this was better than I expected it to be because I hadn't heard the best things about it. So that's, yeah, it's kind of like, it's weird because I love.
Starting point is 00:05:49 liked all the parts. Nothing about this did I not like. I guess I wanted more, but it's already a two and a half hour movie. Yeah. Yeah. Is it scary when it needs to be? Yes. Does it have creepy stuff?
Starting point is 00:06:01 Yes. Does it have good character narrative for Ed and Lorraine Warren? Did I care about them throughout? Absolutely. Judy as well. And that was the thing is the first two conjuring movies. It seemed like this was going back to that because the third one was the one where it's like someone's on trial.
Starting point is 00:06:19 or something like that. I don't know if you guys remember. It's been a lot, so you guys saw it. It totally have zero. It's called The Devil Made Me Do It. It's, yeah, this guy's blaming the devil for possessing for a crime. I do. And I, oh, yeah, that's the first time that they, that they convinced the courts to allow them to say,
Starting point is 00:06:37 demon possession is a real thing. Right. Yeah. Yeah. So I didn't, I wasn't a huge fan of that one. I don't think we loved that way. I don't think we loved it either. I wasn't, it wasn't a big fan of that one.
Starting point is 00:06:47 This one seemed to be going back to the original two, where you're going to to be focusing on this family getting to know them and then in the first two you still care about that family and you stay connected with them and then here i i felt like oh we're it's now it's all going to be about like what is this demon and judy when it seemed like so obvious that this demon was here to get judy the whole time as opposed to being the final reveal in the last 10 minutes of the movie i know when when lorraine was like they've always wanted judy it's like yet up yeah yeah yeah I figured that out like an hour ago. I wonder if they thought that was a reveal.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Yeah, it's a good point. I don't know, because when she said it, I was like, none of us reacted at all. I thought there'd be something bigger. Yeah. I thought it was going to, that's why I was trying to put the pieces together. Remember when I was like, is Judy somehow born the same day that Dawn was in the same hospital or something? I'm like, what could the reveal be? Because it can't just be that they want Judy.
Starting point is 00:07:44 They literally killed her when she was. born for a minute. We know they want you. What? That's been proven. Before we get to the patron questions, which we will get to, and thank you so much to our patrons for asking those, go check out our Patreon and see if you want to join that tier. We love
Starting point is 00:08:00 that you guys lead these reviews now. But I'm curious from you guys with a yes or no. We joked about it during. Would you want to see a Judy Tony spin-off? No. God, no. That sounds boring. Not really. But I do want to know if Ben Harder
Starting point is 00:08:16 is related to the Hardy that we all know. Tom? Yeah. Or Ed? Either. It would be better who's related to Ed Hardy wearing all the pimpsied. Oh, my God. The clothing.
Starting point is 00:08:30 He is from the United Kingdom. Oh, my God. So is he related? What does it have is? Oh, my God. Go to family. Yeah, where's his trivia. Whatever the hell it is.
Starting point is 00:08:40 We have to. Born, born Angela Jones. Maybe just Google it. No, he's not. How do you know? I feel like it'd be like the top of the top. Because it would say. He's trying to hide it.
Starting point is 00:08:50 This guy's fucking Tom Hardy. Frequently asked questions. Yeah. No. All right. Known for Bohemian Rhaps. He was in Bohemian Rhapsody. Wait, who was he in Bohemian Rhapsody?
Starting point is 00:09:01 Oh my God. I'm about to tell you guys I interviewed him for a long time. I did a full-blown sit down with him. Go to Bohemian Rhapsody. Roger Taylor. Yep, for sure. 100% interviewed him. Good, Broxie.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Good memory. I also interviewed Patrick for. a long time good rocks you did all right kid yeah for a long time good job rocks good go but i like the guy i play his tone i like this guy and i like judy wow he was roger taylor and bohemian rhaps embarrassing but i wouldn't want it's like no we're here for ed and lorraine i agree i might even maybe watch the there was rumors going around that they might do like their younger years and maybe that's what that thing with casting those young people were they might do that and i don't know i think i liked them they were
Starting point is 00:09:44 Because I think because, like, in a profile with the girl, she looked just like our Lorraine sometimes. And then the guy really did look like Ed. Maybe I would be more drawn to that because it reminds us of who we really actually love. But, like, I don't know. I liked that, but it was a little weird because we've seen our Ed and Lorraine in the 60s.
Starting point is 00:10:06 So it was weird to have them in the 60s as different actors. But I understand why, yeah, I do get it. Let's get to some of these patron. questions see what's going on over there curious what you guys want to know about thank you so much again to our patrons for asking this stuff leon three in the house uh school up dude so sorry so sorry leon three says personally think this movie was better than expected even if it wasn't scary sorry taro he thinks it wasn't scary i really love the story of ed and lorraine plus the dynamic with their daughter and boyfriend, was this the proper end for their storyline?
Starting point is 00:10:49 Tara, what do you think? I liked it. I liked me a good, happy ending. I did not want. I was stressing when the rain fell down the stairs, I didn't want it. When Ed was having his heart attack, pills went down, I didn't want it. I didn't even want the boyfriend died. Tony, we don't even, I mean, we kind of care.
Starting point is 00:11:06 I'm happy that that monologue at the end was very, very sweet, where she's like, I saw our future, we have grandkids and all that stuff. I liked it. I wonder if they did have grandkids because then we saw the text and it was like he died at 70-something. But I think they, hopefully they did do that. Greg, do you think it was a good, proper ending? It really didn't feel like they were concluding the conjuring franchise. I thought they were, but then it became another case that they just do.
Starting point is 00:11:40 I thought there was going to be more meat to it at the time we got to. It was all, everything was clicking for me really well. And I like the scares and the visuals of the finale moment, but it didn't quite hit that emotional thrusts that I thought they were going for, where it's like, oh, I see how this is the final mission of Ed and Lorraine Warren before they can put it to rest. But I'm there with terror on that, like, whole seeing the future. So much of what she does is about premonitions of terrible things.
Starting point is 00:12:08 It's nice for her to see a future with a lot of bright, positive, uplifting things. But what about you, Roxy? I think I feel the exact same way you do because I even remember at the midway point, I think I said to you guys like, this is really good. I was so with it. And then by the end, I was like, huh, it, it's, I think I even said when they were dancing, I was like, I'm scared right now because I was like waiting for something else because it felt like there was going to be a little bit more.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Yeah. But then there wasn't. And that, it still worked. So I think it was the proper end for the story. I think it was a good enough end. the story. Yeah. It would be how I phrased it. Lauren G. Thank you, Warren.
Starting point is 00:12:49 As of now, I haven't watched this yet. But I'm a big fan of the franchise and we'll be watching with you. We love that, Lauren. Thanks. Being that I don't know how it ends, I'll leave this more broad. Are you happy with the way the franchise wraps up? Film-wise, if there are never any more movies, ignoring the fact that there are supposedly a show coming. What's the show? It's going to be a show. I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:13:10 I think the show is what I was saying is focusing on young Ed and Lorraine Warren. Wow. And is it going to follow actual Ed and Lorraine? What do you mean by that? Like the real people? Are they pulling from the real people still? Or is they kind of going on and doing the own thing? Yeah, I mean, they would probably want to do their own thing to universe build this bad boy up.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Huh. Get some Annabelle appearances in there. Get some nuns. Okay. So we talked a little bit about if we're happy with it. But like at this point, what about the other spinoffs that we have? Lawyerona, the nun. Anabel. The Conjuring. The conjuring is this one. I think those are all of them.
Starting point is 00:13:50 No, there was the curse of... Oh, no, I just said La Yorona, yeah. Wasn't there one more? Then the two Annabels and then the four conjurings. And the nun and then... I think that those are that. That's it. Yeah. Three Annabels. Is there any that you guys really would like to see more of? No. I think we're kind of
Starting point is 00:14:10 spent on it. only thing that not the only thing but the thing that I liked about this one is that it included all of them like we did see the nun we saw another creepy lady we did get Annabelle I thought that was cool I don't think I need to see more spinoffs
Starting point is 00:14:26 of the nun or Annabelle or even really the conjuring okay so you're done with the franchise but not in a bad way just yeah just like I'm not mad that it's going away like I felt genuinely really sad if like when Game with
Starting point is 00:14:42 phone sends or like the office or something I'm not as like oh man I'm so sad that this this is going to be over so they didn't leave you wanting more they overstayed their welcome or they've stayed it perfectly all right that's fine what else we got Greg well
Starting point is 00:14:58 scrolly polioly here we go Jaden Rhodes thinks Jaden I love this movie oh that's okay it felt like a breath of fresh air after the third movie this movie does a good job at closing the chapter of the Warren's I hope with the success of this movie they don't decide to go back and make more movies but how do you all compare this to
Starting point is 00:15:17 others in this franchise so just speaking from the conjuring just speaking from the conjuring i was playing with stuff the whole time too uh conjuring movies so there's been four of them Greg where does this kind of rank on three easily one would be one two would be two this would be three and then three would be four i would ask you the question to her but i know for sure you don't remember. No. Yep. I was going to say, La Girona, love it, but that's because it's so dark.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I actually know that we ranked them for socials. Let me pull up and see if I can find our. Yeah. That's like me having a lawyer. I'm like, well, show me the posters for one, two, and three, and then I'll decide. Yeah, no, I'm the same way. I don't like remember. Yeah, I remember that we ranked them.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Okay, let's see. Conjuring Ranking. No, it just says conjuring ranking. I think we did at some point. Go through our social media and find it, because I'm telling you, we definitely did do that. So you don't know off the top of your head? Okay, wait, I have it here. I don't know if this is an order or if this was, I have a list.
Starting point is 00:16:26 The nun two, I remember being at the bottom of your list. Oh, good. Yeah, so Conjuring 2 was our favorite. And then Annabelle creation, and then Conjuring 1, and then Annabelle comes home. We love it, Annabelle, yeah. And then Devil made me do it, and then the first Annabelle, and then the Curse of Lawyerona, and then the Nunn, too. We were right. So the question is, would you put this above Conjuring 3?
Starting point is 00:16:46 Yeah, I think so. Where is even Conjuring 3? He just said, a devil made me do it. Oh, that's what that way. It would go above it. Okay. So this is about midway for us. We really worked on that question, Jaden.
Starting point is 00:16:59 I hope you enjoyed the answer. Troy, Ocola. Thank you, Troy. Hey, Taryn Roxy. He didn't know. No one knows. He didn't know. Everyone's like, why isn't John there?
Starting point is 00:17:09 I'm just going to ask, why? They would prefer. John to be here. Craig, this is your entire, this is your whole channel. None of us would be here about you.
Starting point is 00:17:17 Trust me, I know. Did you guys see, a little behind a scene? Do you guys see I posted something about Aaron today and how much love he's getting? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, you got to look at this.
Starting point is 00:17:27 People love Aaron. It was fucking awesome. I was so happy for him. Okay, hey, Tara and Roxy and Troy, I'm going to assume you say hi to Greg. Love you both and you too, Greg. Watching The Conjuring Last Rites, do you find ghost horror or slasher film
Starting point is 00:17:40 scarier after the horror journey and which would freak you out more in real life. Nice. I don't want to hear your answers. I don't need to participate in this one. Why? I'm good. Because you want to get out of here?
Starting point is 00:17:53 Tara, what's your answer? You know, honestly, they all freak me out. And if you're talking about in real life, you're like, okay, the ghost pops up in front of my freaking car, scary as hell. But then we've got terrifier clown running around trying to slash my throat. I don't like the question here, Troy. I like the question, Troy.
Starting point is 00:18:16 I think that slasher stuff freaks me out more because I have an easier time believing that I could walk out of here and get stabbed than I do that I could walk out of here and a ghost would do something. Oh, wow, okay. So, you know, that's scary. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Well, very, like, that's absolutely possible is that I walk out of you and somebody stabs me. That's some chucky shit right there. I'm not going to ask you very good. I mean, I can make a quick, answer. You told me, okay. I decided. I changed my own like a child at a birthday party, all right? I'm calling on you. Okay. Troy. Actually, ghost horror tends to freak me out more because I feel like there's nothing I can do about it and I believe it. Whereas the slasher is always a part of my brain. It's like, I could maybe win this in a fight in some way. You want to know how I knew your answer? Because you just interviewed Chris Stuckman and I just watched it. It was a sick interview and I just clipped it out for socials. And that's a plug for your interview and our story.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Oh, yeah. I love to hear. Thanks, Roxy. Yeah. Rejectnation, at the start of this year, I was over 218 pounds, over 22% body fat. By the time I reached September, I got under 10% body fat. Drop nearly about 50 pounds. Now lately, I've been working on building muscle, and I got them photos out of the way. And a big part of that has been Huel. I drink so much, I ended up buying the actual protein powder bag so I can make it at home and mix it with some stuff. It's been a reliable source of protein and energy. for me because fuel short for human fuel i just learned is a complete meal in a bottle i use it a couple times a week when i'm running from shoot to shoot or meeting to meeting edit to edit you know and i need something quick and not just quick but satisfying because if it's not satisfying you end up just wanting to eat something else and each serving of fuel has over 35 grams of plant-based protein 27 essential vitamins and minerals and is made with real whole food ingredients it's Halloween time and it doesn't matter of it's Halloween time my go to is usually the chocolate Smooth, delicious, surprisingly tasty, like the vanilla as well,
Starting point is 00:20:14 but they got a bunch of other flavors at the actual website themselves. My wife likes the strawberry banana. And me, I'm a man who's all about efficiency, so no prep, no cleanup, grab, shake, drink, and you're good to go. And at under $5 a meal, Huell helps me not to stay on track physically, but also financially. So go ahead and join the over 3 million people fueling with Huell. Visit Huel.com slash Real Rejects to try it for yourself today. You can claim your offer and get free shipping on your first order.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Once again, huell.com slash real rejects to claim your offer and get free shipping on your first order. Thank you, Hewell, for being a partner of my life. Resident Z, I can't clap right now. Thank you. Late night, shejacks plus Greg. Okay, what's our ship? It'd be shejek, Greg. Shejexag.
Starting point is 00:21:04 Shejaxag. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'll be watching it alongside both of you and Greg. I'm sure Tara is sufficiently scared after today. Sorry, honey. Question. Now that the last movie is in the books, which character in the entire series do you find the most frightening? Do you know, Tara?
Starting point is 00:21:21 Now that the last movie, which character in the entire... Greg, do you know? The nun. Okay, the nun. Uh... I guess I would go with the nun, kind of. Scary as hell. I think Annabel.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Annabelle's creepy as hell, too. But she grew while I was like, oh, girl. And Conjuring, too, there's this old guy. guy who's just like my house. Oh, yeah. For some reason that guy freaks me to fuck out. He's like, tell on skinny and living attention.
Starting point is 00:21:46 That's creepy. Yeah, there's just something about that one dude that really terrified me. So I'd probably go with that guy. It's terrifying. I'm going to say the name. Terry, you're going to clap. Kev B.
Starting point is 00:21:56 For you, how important is it to get closure in a horror movie? Does not knowing everything make it creepier or just leave you feeling like the story ghosted you? I see what you did there, Kev B. I like that. Greg, what is creepier for you?
Starting point is 00:22:10 uh not knowing everything is generally creepier for me i would assume it'd be the that way for most people right i kind of think it's the opposite for me what do you mean um like sometimes when you just don't know what ended up happening i feel like it's a little bit of lazy writing like they're like it when they leave it super open open ended like it could have been a ghost it could have been real it could been whatever sometimes that doesn't freak me out sometimes when it's like here is what happened i'm like holy shit and then i'm afraid that's going to happen to yeah does that make sense yeah well speaking of closure just to tie back into conjuring a little bit more do you how do you feel about the closure for the characters in particular judy ed and lorraine do you feel like they
Starting point is 00:22:53 really art in this movie do you feel like judy really art into something interesting oh just was scared i i feel like this is the most we got a judy so like at least we had anything and i And I do think that it was really cool, and we didn't discuss this much, but the fact that you have to look in the mirror and face your fears, you can't just hide from them and run from them at all times, I do think it's a very valuable lesson. I kind of feel like it was lost a little bit because it was so brief at the end, and then there was no, like, discussion about it. The mom just is like, no, look in the mirror and then she does. And, of course, we built to it the whole time, but it would have been cool to get a little bit of the aftermath of, like, what is Judy's life once she has faced her fears. But we do hear that from Lorraine. And so I think that there was, there was some, there was closure for Judy and, you know, she got engaged and all this stuff.
Starting point is 00:23:43 And we got some text closure for Ed and Lorraine. I feel like we got pretty much no closure for the family that moved out, even though they said they lived there three years. A nice little text they put on screen. Yeah. How do you feel about that? For not getting closure with the family? No, you said, how do you? Oh, with like Judy and all them?
Starting point is 00:24:01 Yeah, do you see like, our characters got closure. I do agree. It could have hit a little bit harder than maybe all the questions. about like wanting a spinoff with them would resonate more. Right. Because then I'd be like, yeah, because I really felt like I got to know her. Because I like the relationship that develops with, we kept suspecting Tony to be something he wasn't. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:17 So I like the relationship Ed develops with Tony and him learning to trust his future son-in-law so he can actually give his daughter away. So that way, so he can feel like she's protected, you know? So I like that element of it. Do you think he's real in real life? Do you think that? Tony? Yeah. No, I think they made him up to this movie. Do you do?
Starting point is 00:24:34 Yeah. I think like 99% of it. the things we see in these movies I thought the cop storyline was going to be a bigger deal. Like, and then we were going to be able to see him do some cop stuff that save the day or ruin the day or whatever, like anything.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Yeah, they were set, I think the first hour and a half of this was a stronger, our 20 minutes, I think was like stronger. Yeah, very strong. The way the rest of the movie unfolds, because it just becomes like, now we're a typical conjuring movie. Yep. Yeah. Once they latch onto the case and they miss, they drop a lot of the interesting nuance
Starting point is 00:25:03 that the movie was having. Here we go, a couple more questions pierre the reject thank you pierre which conjuring movie do you like the best i personally like this one because i feel like it's end of a saga terra we ranked we personally like this one because it's end because it ends the franchise um that's great that you like this one best i think based on our conversation defar gregg liked the first one best and terran roxy like the second one best but if you ask terran roxy what the second one about we don't remember so very likely I agree with that what she just said I mean that's what she said
Starting point is 00:25:37 I think I think conjuring one is the stronger film film like just a film but I think conjuring two is a is a stronger like what you show up for for the conjuring so being a conjuring like experience and a movie simultaneously I don't know if that makes sense what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:25:56 the ending was crazy of them there you go yeah general thoughts were good. The shots in that first one really cinematic. I would think it was strong. Strong. Scary. Strong and scary. Yeah, sharp in the second one.
Starting point is 00:26:13 More graphic in the second than the one than the other one. Here we go. Jay Rushden. Thank you, Jay. Question, what villain or foe was the best in conjuring movies there? Greg?
Starting point is 00:26:30 steal his answer whatever he's. I mean, didn't we answer this question? We did. I said the nun. Well, I think that was the one was the creepiest, but this is what was the best villain. Well, let me try to rephrase this a tiny bit then. What did you guys think about the villains that we did get in this? Because the first two conjuring movies are kind of known for, like, the conjuring two has like the nun, the crooked man.
Starting point is 00:26:53 Crooked man. And this one has like a guy with an axe who keeps killing his wife or something. I did think he was really creepy. The axe guy out here. I wanted that story to relate more, like, okay, he came and he killed the wife and the wife's mom was there and they ran in here and they were farmers and I was like, that ended up not being relevant at all. And I kind of wanted to hear more about that or less about it, but the amount that we got felt like there was going to be more to it. But that actor did a really good job, creepy the shit out of me. Yeah, he was scary.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Yeah. Really, really creepy. Did you like the villains in this? I mean, I think the mirror, like, you know, I mean, when we get the nun or like Annabel, that also, yes, that guy did a great job, he's creepy. And then when you just said, Crooked Man, I got, I was like, like, and I think that a villain for the last, like, movie should make you be like, uh-huh. And, I mean, it was, I mean, the main villain, and this was like a mirror. There's a mirror. Yeah, so you mentioned the mirror, and I did, Greg, you had very, like, strong reaction to the spinning of the mirror.
Starting point is 00:27:56 did that not work for you it was just remarkably jarring i've never seen something like that it was like but they're fighting a fucking mirror just going berserk right now i've never seen that before like that was our final moment of this franchise was them fighting a mirror yeah and i get it like thematically holding a mirror to yourself and your inner demons and da da da da da but i do think it could because like they set it up with this is the demon who you first encountered who you who they never got a face because she was pregnant and she ran away and now it's like going after your daughter still
Starting point is 00:28:31 there's all these things they set up with and I don't even know what this fucking demon's name is I don't know who I don't know it's like it's in a mirror but I don't know anything about this when I feel like they set it up to be the perfect final villain yeah I hear you on that so yeah that was like creepy and scary but not memorable
Starting point is 00:28:47 in that way yeah you mentioned something so I do want to get to because you mentioned this during the reaction let's just do one piece of trivia from Leon. We got it. shout out to Leon 3 Thanks Leon 3 For all the questions
Starting point is 00:29:01 We're only answering the ones we have time for right now But this bit of trivia Fun fact The wedding guests consist of casting crew Including director James Wan From all movies in the franchise It wasn't just an Asian guy It was James Wong
Starting point is 00:29:14 Ask me Ask me if I have also sat down and interviewed James Juan Have you sat down an interview? Yes I have Did I see him there? No I did not He didn't have glasses on And normally I associate him with glasses. I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Actually, now I think about it, I never seen him in glasses. You guys were like, he's getting a lot of pickups. This guy must be special. I don't understand. No, that's not him. It's not. No, that's a different. Now, that's just a different Asian guy.
Starting point is 00:29:44 That's just an Asian guy. You know what? You've never seen James Wan. I never had. We've come this far. We should at least shut up. James Wan is like this big. He's so.
Starting point is 00:29:54 go so small. Oh, really? Okay. Let's shout out Shannon Cook. He really brought his A game to put his face on camera here. Shannon Cook did a great job. Shannon Cook was like, am I in frame? He did a great job. I'll be honest with you. Right now in my life, the things I'm getting cast in, I'm Shannon Cook, so I just want to shout him out for recognition. Apparently he's in the first conjuring movie. Don't recall that. Don't remember that. He's in Devil made me do it as well. Who was he in Reacher? Oh, man. I have no clue. Swan. Five episodes. Oh, he's part of, he's part of Reacher's crew. Oh, that's cool.
Starting point is 00:30:28 And Reacher's season two. Oh, I like Reacher a lot. He's in all the conjuring movies that I don't remember him from any. Every single one. Oh, my God. I don't remember him. Drew is a staple of this franchise and he should not be overlooked. Is Drew the character?
Starting point is 00:30:44 Drew is the character that we should not overlook. So Tara knows what he looks like. You got it. No, James, I think for like one second in the wedding guests. Yeah, yeah. I think it was somebody that Greg was like that James Juan. I'm pretty sure he's next to the Conjuring 2 cast. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:01 That's James. The person he's pulling up right now. Oh, okay. I don't know why I thought he needed glasses when he never wears glasses. Yeah, I don't know. I didn't know what he meant. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Yeah. Oh, he did saw and, okay. Yeah, he does. He does a lot of big ones. Saw Insidious. Oh, and Aquaman. He's done a lot of movies you've seen. Ryan, he's done a lot of movies.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Megan? He did Megan? No, he produced. Oh, he produced it. He's scrolling like a... I know I'm showing you. Hold on, homie. Look, let all these movies he's done. Thank you for that.
Starting point is 00:31:31 Okay. I haven't seen Moodyear 2 McGiver, Furious 70s, Incidious, okay. Doggy Heaven. He did the first saw movie. Wow. Wow. That's a great saw. Guys, what do you think about us getting out of here so that Greg can go home by two in the morning? Yeah, I agree.
