Starting point is 00:01:34 We're the last people to do this. From looking at feeds, this trailer seems to be very underwhelming to a lot of people. What? Never! So we have to go in actively disliked it and not forming our own thing. That's right. I already know what to say at the review part. Well, now that we've said that,
Starting point is 00:01:49 now we have to like definitely come across positive. That way it looks like we're not just following the time. That's right. It changed my whole opinion now. I love it. Anyway, guys. Hey, we're on the Tron Aries event. Yeah, it's
Starting point is 00:02:02 whatever the new one's called. It's whatever the new one's called. Babu. Baby. Yeah. Babu and Grogu. It's a Gordi.
Starting point is 00:02:29 You paid when the job is done. There's something so meta about it. It heard some sci-fi world. Woo! She brings so much baggage. Ha ha. Oh, is that fighting? Impressive.
Starting point is 00:02:59 This trailer's filled with cuteness. The climax expanded. There you go. Aragna Rock. Nice, nice, classic imagery. It is. It's like an Indiana Jones fault. Yeah, definitely retro adventure splash buckling vibes.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Good shot, baby. What? Did Babu Frick say that or did Gros say that in itself? Good shot, baby. No, Bobu, no, I thought it. I would believe it. The line delivery would have made. Why would he, Grogu shoot it and say, good shot, baby?
Starting point is 00:03:50 Groger would have to say it in the, you know, cadence of his people. It would have to be like, good shot that was. Do you want to see Tron Aries early for free at IMAX headquarters on the format it was meant to be seen on? I'll be hosting, and there'll be some familiar faces you've seen across the grid or the web. You know, I'm making some puns. And there'll be other people there too. See back in March, 2024, we hosted Doom Part 2 at IMAX headquarters. Invited fans and filmed their real reactions right after the movie.
Starting point is 00:04:17 It's one of the coolest things we've ever done, and now we're booting it back up. for Tron Aries. This isn't just any advanced screening. Tron Ares was filmed for IMAX with nearly half the movie an expanded ratio. That means more picture, more neon, more grid, the way this movie was actually designed to be experienced. And the best part, after the film, you'll get to DRES. With other fans, hang out, talk with the other creators who do decide to show up, and maybe even a few rejects that you recognize.
Starting point is 00:04:45 It's more than a screening. It's a full system upgrade for your night. The giveaway runs September 22nd to the 25th. Just hit the link in the description box or you can go to our YouTube community post or somewhere here link to whatever post platform this is on right now. Don't miss your chance to see Tron Airy's early for free
Starting point is 00:05:00 at IMAX HQ. End of line. Why are people disappointed in this trailer? My mind is jogging my memory, which is really good today, as always, as you'd expect for me. Love it. Is that it doesn't feel like its own movie or
Starting point is 00:05:17 it just feels like a season 4 or something like underwhelming about it or something. Now I'm just trying to find out why it's like disappointing when I'm here going. We're going to see Mandalorian and Grogu on IMAX. Come on, it's cool. I don't even care if it just feels
Starting point is 00:05:33 like some long episode. I mean, I wonder if it's people expecting this to look like some kind of like redefining moment for the character or something or like some added degree of epicness. Like watching this trailer, this does kind of look like,
Starting point is 00:05:49 the trailer for season four of a show in that it kind of just like shows you a whole bunch of moments and it's not as like it doesn't feel as much like a movie trailer to me which on the one hand coming out of a TV show is necessarily a bad thing on a movie perspective like I'm glad they're not potentially just giving everything away like it looks like oh cool fun medley of things and I feel like what they're trying to go back to after some of the complaints of the later eras of season three especially of Mandalorian with it being so concerned with you know the heritage of mandolore and Boca Tan and the Dark City. Like, it seems like this is going back to, like, Him and Grogu on Adventures. Yeah. And so it's like, yeah, I don't know if that's, like, overwhelming enough for people. Um, they're in a tough spot.
Starting point is 00:06:35 It's, you can't. Like, what do you want from them at this point? It has to, it's, of course, it's going to feel like a long episode or a part four. Like, you can't have both worlds. Imagine if they're trying to do, like, would you get new on? audiences. And we need to meet this as a part four. Then you're just going to be doing something that's like half cooked. You have to kind of just lean fully in one direction. And I say lean fully into you are a part four movie. That's what you are doing. And don't worry about people who
Starting point is 00:07:06 did not watch Mandalorian seasons one through three. They have time. They got till May to catch up and watch the first three seasons and maybe throwing some book of boba fed in there. And oh man, it sounds like a lot of homework when you put it like that. But for three seasons and then watch this then you're fine but yeah i mean like it doesn't and on top of that two mandolorean already felt very cinematic that was the thing is when you watch it on television you're like this should be on the big screen so there's nothing like cinematography wise that feels different and it it feels like so lighthearted that it doesn't they're not that's probably the thing that's sort of missing is it's sort of missing uh conveying
Starting point is 00:07:49 an element of oh this is going to be like the big cinematic mandolorean grogu film going big adventures i much watch this on iMac scopic experience it just kind of feels like a lighthearted adventure right now for a teaser trailer you know it's not really selling stakes or something bigger it just it does feel like a nice little one-off time one that i guess i'm offended by i am offended as well I mean, that's so, well, like, in this trailer, I got a bigger impression left on me by the presence of Grogu than of Dinjaran. And so it, in that way, kind of feels like I'm watching an I Am Groot trailer or something like that, where it's like, oh, we're watching cute Grogu do some stuff with Babu Frick, who people also love because he's cute, too. And, you know, Dingerin's in there, but not in a way where it's like, oh, he returns, and, like, we get a big hero shot on him. He's looking badass, and, you know, there's like, I guess that.
Starting point is 00:08:50 It's like you want a little bit of that Western, you know, swashbuckling intrigue flavor, and this was mostly like fun, sci-fi adventure flavor, which is like part of the soup, but not all of these soup. Well, yeah, there's nothing really like narratively magnetic about this. No, no. I can't really tell what the narrative is except more just all-a-cart adventures. That they have somehow compiled into a... movie um yeah i guess i was expecting something like egregious i wouldn't meet people probably at
Starting point is 00:09:23 that it's it's like middling it's on it's fine you know if this was a season four trailer would be it would be a big deal be like all right i'll just wait for the full trailer i'm sure it'll be fun yeah but i guess for like big screen you know this movie's gonna make a shit ton of money it's got baby ota all over it they're gonna market the hell out of it that baby yota thing it's done wonders for the money department for star wars so yeah there's gonna be a lot of people watching this and bring their baby yotas and moms like baby Yoda too bring the real baby bringing the real babies painting them up getting them plastic surgery to look like baby Yoda yeah yeah having unfortunate children who are named grogoo after these kids are named
Starting point is 00:10:03 generis why not yeah I think grogues a little bit more of an unappealing name it is but I don't like the name grogoo it's an ugly name grogoo I mean it depends of the culture really I bet you, I bet they had conversations with Poloni. They were like, is there any chance we'd call this mandoling and baby Yoda? You know they had that conversation that someone was. Because more people know he was baby Yoda. He didn't have watched the show long enough to know he's got a name. I mean, you know, I don't think it would be a bad market.
Starting point is 00:10:37 And yes, Scorni Weaver's playing someone and then I guess there's more Jabba family. He looks like the lady from Avatar. So I'm talking about and, you know, Zeb's here. Yeah, Rebels, more future. I think it's going to be in Asoka season, too. We'll see. That was a hell of a trailer, guys. Leave your thoughts down below.
Starting point is 00:10:59 I see why people were, um, they were champing up a bit for the, yeah, slogging their way through the desert. All right, may the force be with you. of Peel is situated deep in the woods of northern Wisconsin. On the morning of Sunday, the 8th of March 2015,
Starting point is 00:11:38 the stillness of Peel was interrupted. At the Oneida County Emergency Dispatch Center, the phone began to ring. Before the operator could answer, the caller hung up. It happened again, and then again. Three calls, all from the same number. Then came a fourth call. And then finally, there was a voice. It was a little girl.
