More on them in just a bit.
Episode 666,
Vampire, the stat.
Let's watch the damn show.
Go to Montreal.
Damn.
That was crazy.
Anyway, guys, we want the full reaction
watching along. That's at our Patreon.
Thank you guys who are supporting us.
Oh, my God.
If you'd like to support God,
you can go to Rejectionation Shop.com.
Get yourself as Jesus tea.
That was fucking.
crazy.
That was the craziest ending to an episode.
I feel your passion.
And they couldn't hear that,
they couldn't feel their presence at all?
I guess not.
Because it's neither of their makers.
I mean, that's just...
I guess the said Alex there was a distraction too.
The Claudia stuff.
I don't even know, sorry, keep talking,
whatever you were saying.
Let it out, homie.
I don't even know what the fuck to say
because it's like,
you're right
we do see louis
at the auction
but we don't see
La Stott
and is his entire season
like is he pulling out all the stops
because this is the last that we get of him
I feel like that's what they want us to take
that's what they want us to believe
that's what I've been trying to say the last two episodes
I have not been
letting that penetrate my mind
she said penetrate
That's crazy
And then the Claudia stuff
Like we only ever saw that from
Louis' perspective
So I just was really under the impression
That Claudia
But I understand
Like this is the problem with turning a child
And it being so unnatural
And then I loved her
When she was like
When he says
What about what you should be thanking me for
Yeah
And then he acknowledges later
Like I can't believe I said that
Because it's so fucked up
Like, yes, she should owe you a thank you for that.
Are you kidding?
It's a very human response when they can't handle the guilt.
Yeah.
The guilt of what happened.
And ultimately, like, you are the reason.
You too are the reason she ended up here.
And her saying she liked the stop better.
And, like, either Louis's mind was not ever letting him process that.
And what we were seeing was him faking how it was.
or she died,
she's been in this fucking miserable place
and she's just like gone over every moment
and been like, fuck this guy.
Whoa.
That witch did a really good job too.
She did her job.
You mean is that actor?
Yeah.
Yeah.
She was willing to lose a tooth for the role.
Good witch and tip.
That was a crazy episode.
I was so happy to see them together.
And then yeah, fucking Daniel.
Do you think Daniel has betrayed us on purpose,
or do you think Armand has poisoned him to the extent that he's not making his own decisions anymore?
I think he did it on.
I think Daniel made his own choice.
Because you think that Daniel listened to Armand when Armand said that Louis,
he was going home to Louis and telling Louis everything?
When Lestat said a couple episodes ago that Daniel's tenure as a vampire would be short-lived,
I think this is why.
Daniel was not at Lestat's auction in the beginning.
and I think this will lead to Daniel's death.
I officially hate Daniel.
Yeah, I kind of do that too, and that's crazy.
And I hate Armand, and I can't believe I almost thought that he was okay.
And I, and the mom, and is she working with Armand somehow?
Like, how deep does this conspiracy go?
I would imagine she's probably involved with the mom.
Mom's probably involved with Armand in some way.
Reject Nature for anything like me, you know what it's,
like when you just struggle to book that doctor's appointment, I am the worst at that.
Genuinely, booking a doctor stresses me out, calling the hold music, the back and forth,
trying to explain what you need. I get anticipation, anxiety from just making the call. And then
after going through the whole process, they're like, oh, we got another appointment and then, you know,
six weeks from now. So historically, my move has just been not to go. Assume it'll work out for itself,
which has done me wonders.
mean sarcastic. It's obviously a terrible.
Terrible plan. And that's why this video is sponsored by
Zoc Docs. Zocococ I've
actually used. They let you search
and compare local in-network doctors.
So you're not just blindly
guessing or calling around forever.
Their sites have tons of reviews
from real patients and detailed
doctor profiles. It's the closest
I've come to online dating so I could look
through my options and choose the one
that felt right for me. And the best part,
you can see actual appointment
openings. And click
instantly to book a visit.
No phone calls, no hold music.
No, let me transfer you.
You just don't want to talk to me.
The exact stuff that makes me avoid booking appointments in the first place.
Gone.
Plus, here's the best part.
Zoc Doc is free to use.
For you guys, I've been fond for the past couple of years.
I've obviously become a little bit more obsessed about taking care of my health.
And I'll tell you, health matters and taking care of yourself shouldn't be complicated.
So you can find and book the right doctor with Zockdoc.
Head to Zocdoc.com.
Wow, that's a tongue twister.
head to Zocdoc.com
slash rejects
to get started and check that appointment
off your to-do list.
That is Z-O-C-D-O-C-com
slash rejects.
It's actually easier to spell it
than it is to say that.
Zoc-Doc.com.
Whoa.
Did they realize what they were doing
when they said that?
Anyway, they're great.
Because they seemed like they were on opposite sides,
but I don't know that they are.
But this is what snakes do,
Armand has gotten in, you know, he's convinced everybody.
True, true.
We have one episode left.
What is it?
It's the show, right?
Are we going to put on the show?
All roads have been leading to there.
Okay.
What are your final predictions on who makes it out of this season alive and who does not?
On the table are Armand, Daniel, Louis, Lestat,
the vampire
I think there's a lot of story
to explore with the queen
oh the queen
so I'm like
that's why I'm pretty confident
this is why
this is the only reason why
I'm confident
that Lestotte's gonna live
Lestat makes it out of the show
but that could all be flashback stuff
it's very true
and I have no idea
if any queen story
is supposed to take place
in the present day
I legit don't know that
is there a book
is one of the
books, Armand's story with Morius?
I don't know.
I don't know if I don't want that season.
No, I don't know if I'd be that into it.
No, I feel like Lister.
I feel like Louis and
Louis, Armand, and Lestine, I think the
trio of vampire still lives.
What about Regina?
Do you think we're done with her?
I don't know, maybe there's some like transference,
reincarnation of soul thing,
or something like that.
is a very specific thing to
put that character in here and then just to not
acknowledge that again. I know.
Duzlostat's mom
survived this season.
No.
What the fuck are you yawning about?
I am
a living right now.
I am on
a cliff and the wind
blowing and the boats are all.
I'm exhausted.
This episode made me cry twice.
It was a...
I was very...
emotionally overwhelmed.
It's interesting.
I cry at television
much more than I do in movies,
but I feel like this show
has a tendency to like
make me feel stuck.
Like I can't even
I'm trying to compute
so many things at once
that I feel like
it's like cannot
process in real time.
It was so fucked up.
What were the two parts
that made you cry?
I was almost on the verge.
It's weird.
Like we watched three seasons
of this and I've never
I've never
cry.
But it was on the verge of
when he was first singing
to Louis.
And that's what I was like,
I was like,
oh,
that's what kind of breaks my heart
a little bit is when
the stat doesn't ought
to just put things into words,
but he can do it in a song.
That's the only way he can do it.
He has to express himself in a different way.
And then when you pick up on that depth,
you're like, oh, I'm feeling it.
The other thing is.
Sorry,
no, you.
All right, me.
So, yeah, not then.
almost it was it was when they were fighting in the streets and uh oh that was so heartbreaking yeah just
like louis lestat being exposed like that and then like this we've really spent time with them
getting along and then watching that hope gets shattered and that feeling of judgment
and none of that understanding of like list that was you know fucking abused and groomed and there's like
not no consideration it's immediate judgment of like what you're doing and because he's watching him do it as an adult but he's not thinking about how we got here yeah the heat of the moment so i like i i that that scene was really getting me and then i like i love how the next scene was like a come down where lister louie had to get checked on how far he was going and how lestado was gave him second chances and stuff and they were at the bar like oh it was very human and then when it was when claudia was saying how she's like so alone and she doesn't even know we're mad at
and is and that moment was like
really heartbreaking to me because like gosh this person
just been suffering for like
like so fucking long now
hundreds of years and
not not hundreds of years but like
100 years? It was like 19th
30s, 1930s, 94s
but close to like many many decades
and then she
the one thing that she wanted that
where she found happiness she can't even find
and she's just been searching for it in the afterlife
that was just really heartbreaking to me
I want to go over each one of those events
starting with the last one that you just said
was your interpretation of what she said
because we did mention Mother Mary
that either Claudia or
Madeline
they're not in the same place because one of them is in heaven
and one of them is in hell
oh I hear you consider that
I was wondering if she's in the afterlife
if like vampirism equates to devil
or I was wondering if like they only judge you based on
your human life until Claudia was too young
young and so she went to heaven because she never did anything wrong in her human life.
And then Madeline, we know, had those like mixed situation with the Nazis and whatnot.
I don't know. Or vice versa. I don't know.
I can't imagine that, I mean, if you're playing by Christian rules, murder is this, and Claudia murdered like a ton.
But as a vampire, like I wonder if they only, you only are placed based on where you are when you
die.
I don't know if they have like a heaven or a hell in this world.
I think it's like an ambiguous afterlife where rules are a little bit more abstract
in what happens in the afterlife.
It seemed to be a hodgepodge of religions.
Yeah, for sure.
But now I believe everything she was saying, though.
Yeah, I just was curious, like, why aren't they together and what happened there?
And maybe it is that Claudia went to hell.
Maybe it's none of those things.
Maybe that's just not what the afterlife is here.
thought that was an interesting choice to include.
And then going to the Lestat-Louis argument,
I mean, if that doesn't get an Emmy nomination for Sam alone,
like, that performance was in the street was like truly one of the most groundbreaking,
upsetting raw, real performances.
You know, when you're watching something and you're just like,
I feel like this must have been improv because like,
how could you even be saying lines right now?
This feels so from your, like, it's so guttural.
I feel so part of you.
All said.
I thought that was amazing.
And then I did think that was so interesting.
I know I made like that quick joke about it about the episode two, but it is interesting that my, my gut and Louis gut on this was just like so much disgust and fear and like just I don't want to hear about it.
I don't want to see it.
And then watching and like actually opening up to what really happened.
and you're like, oh my God, this poor fucking man,
it was interesting to watch Louis, like,
and you know, and Lestat kind of throws it back on him.
Like, I have been in the middle of my own fucking breakdown,
and you have been, I've still found a way
to accept you, praise you, bring you into my home.
Where is the mutual respect to give me,
I don't even want to say the benefit of the doubt,
but like to give me the time to even try to,
to attempt to explain, you know, but also I understood where Louis was coming from so much
because what Louis seems to be the most heard about is the fact that Listat didn't tell him.
You know, he's like, this is centuries long betrayal.
Yeah.
Because you still went away, you still introduced me.
I just met, you're my lover, you're the love of my life or of my death.
And I just met your mom and you didn't introduce her as your mom.
Yeah, they were talking in the car earlier about how they're,
There were just so many things that while he thought Lestat might have been dead,
he just kept uncovering more stuff about Lestat's past than Lestan had never told him.
Right.
And that is, you know, I'm not in the same situation that you are where, you know,
like you have been with the love of your life for a really long time now.
Like, I can imagine if you find things out about your person that you didn't know,
of course sometimes there's a reason.
Like, you don't want your first thing to be that you're pissed.
but I can imagine it would bring up a lot of different emotions
when you like know that somebody's your person
and then you find out things about them
that they on purpose did not tell you that
I could see that being a betrayal.
Yeah. This is my favorite episode of them.
Yeah, me too. Me too. I mean, it is unbelievable.
I think it was the first time
and just never felt like there was any
performative nature in the way they act with each other.
No, it felt like improv.
Yeah, the entire.
time. It felt like when they were getting along and then they even come to like the very end.
Like oh, they they have finally truly accepted one another after all this time.
Like all the baggage, all their shit in their past, everything.
And then they need to work on themselves.
Yeah. And then they really, they're like, we can go away. Like who else is going to have us?
Like they really knowing everything. And they finally, finally accept each other.
And then their heads get cut off.
I don't know what to make of that part because do we just, like, put Louis on a wooden body and do we lose a stat?
Like, how do we even...
I don't know, man.
You seem really stressed.
I am, because we have one episode left, and then we just watched Louis and the stat get their heads cut off.
Yeah, I'm stressed.
Yeah, it was really, really...
Like, to me, this episode was just...
We call...
Penultimates tend to be the thing.
Like that's the trend of the 21st century.
Oftentimes better than the finale.
Yeah.
The penultimate was my favorite episode of season two.
Benultimates tend to be my favorite.
Yeah, they really are the thing.
So I had high expectations, but this surpassed them.
And I'm so, the show is so self-aware to bring these characters back together knowing, like, we need to do that.
It's not only been this whole season where we've only had bits and pieces, but all
of last season.
You know, we haven't had this
moment, this journey.
A full episode of them like this.
Like, even though we got that New Orleans moment,
the hurricane moment, which is referenced here.
Well, this was the most that felt like interview with the vampire.
Yeah.
Because it's mainly just them together and really play
like a lot of dialogue.
Oh, it was so good, dude. That was so good.
And also horrifying.
The Claudia stuff was...
Ooh.
I was chilling. That was really heartbreaking.
This is what, like, maybe it's just best to let the dead lie.
Yeah, that just seemed like a terrible idea.
I didn't understand really what you thought would have come from that.
I was like, this just seems all kinds of that.
In all fairness, though, when he says afterwards, I guess that closes that chapter,
that is what he was looking for was closure.
It's an interesting way to get closure.
Yeah.
They get the truth.
And it's not the true that either one of them would want.
want to hear. It's like, oh, she's not in a better place at all. She's actually worse off.
But she's... And she blames you guys and she hates you guys. Yeah, but they know the truth now.
Yeah. I do think that that is kind of sometimes the lesson in things. Like, even if something is the
worst case scenario, sometimes limbo is even harder than the worst case scenario. Yeah.
Like letting your mind wander and not knowing can be more torturous than just definitively
fucking knowing sometimes.
That's bleak as hell, homie.
Yeah, for sure, dog.
Okay, man.
All right.
I'm so curious to read the comments on this episode.
I want to know what you guys think.
Leave it in the boxes.
Thank you for being here.
We'll see you for the finale.
Wish me a happy birthday.
Oh, yeah.
Fuck.
Why didn't I say at the beginning?
It's not until tomorrow, so you don't care.
But this came out.
This is coming out on your birthday properly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So say something about Roxy in the comments.
Nice.
Something different than episode two.
Listen, I got thick skin.
Good thing.
I need it.
That's true.
Not me.
You know who needs thick skin?
Louis and the stat.
They just go there.
He's got to use some thicker skin.
See you guys.
