Gr...eg Alba & Roxy Striar dive into the cult classic creature feature that launched a beloved franchise — Tremors (1990)! Starring Kevin Bacon as handyman Valentine McKee, alongside Fred Ward as Earl Bassett, Finn Carter as seismologist Rhonda LeBeck, Michael Gross as survivalist Burt Gummer, and Reba McEntire in her film debut as Heather Gummer, this hilarious and thrilling horror-comedy follows the residents of Perfection, Nevada as they battle monstrous underground creatures known as Graboids. We break down iconic scenes like the Graboid bursting through the floorboards, the rooftop standoff, the DIY bomb plan, and the unforgettable moment when the giant worm crashes into the cliff. With practical effects that still hold up, razor-sharp editing, and endlessly quotable lines like “We plan ahead, that way we don’t do anything right now,” this reaction celebrates the blend of horror, comedy, and survival that made Tremors an enduring fan favorite. We also touch on its legacy with sequels like Tremors 2: Aftershocks, Tremors: Back to Perfection, and the short-lived TV series, while giving love to the creature design, the desert-town atmosphere, and the surprising heart at the center of the chaos. Whether you're a longtime fan or watching for the first time, this one’s for the Graboid lovers! Man, this is my comfort sweatshirt. This is like what I put on when I'm like, oh, I need my comfort sweatshirt.
I love this baby.
I'm so happy.
Are you so happy?
Let's go.
What a shout out.
Prepper, thanks for hanging down these highlights.
You guys have been killing it.
You guys are doing so much right now.
Really appreciate you.
Hell yeah.
All right.
So we'll give our talk, and then we'll go through some cues,
and then we'll look up whatever you want to talk about.
I'm only going to speak when spoken to,
because last time I tried to step in,
and then I got reamed like Reba.
No, Miss Roxy, please.
Yeah, that was good.
It was really very good.
It felt it didn't feel like a
horror movie as much as it
reminded me of watching
earlier on Real Rejects
Twisters. The Twisters the OG
years, Twister the OG
and Twister and then Twisters.
OK. Remind me of watching
Twister the first one because it was like a motley crew of
people that had a good reason to be together.
They're also dealing with seismic waves and trying to figure out.
But I thought that that was really cool about this.
I like that we weren't dealing with a family, but it felt like everybody really gave a crap
about each other.
You really believe that people would risk their lives to help save other people in this
group because it's a town of 14 people. They all know each other. You really believe that people would risk their lives to help save other people in this group because it's a town of 14 people.
They all know each other so well. I also like that this movie just took its time. It breathed where it needed to breathe.
I thought that the design on the sandworm was really interesting or whatever you want to call it.
To me it wasn't too distracting how much it looked like a wee-wee.
Or I guess... Or a bee- it looked like a wee-wee or I guess or a beehole or be whole we wee be whole we whole we it's a wee wee be whole calm good time I
I like that. There's a love interest. You know I'm a lover of love shipper ships
Anything with a romantic story to it. I also love a good bromance
I thought this was a really fun like buddy movie so for all the reasons yeah, I get why this is popular. How'd you feel I?
Thought that was a really fun. Yeah, it's like a b-movie pulpy creature feature horror action comedy
It's like a whole bunch of different genre splices the sensibilities that I love like there was so much
I I really love like the look I think the obvious thing to say is like the creatures look cool.
The creatures do look cool. The creatures are awesome.
But I loved more when they were messing with the perspective of like watching the props.
It's just like classic universal when you're seeing like things getting pulled around
and you inked around and or the grounds moving up and down like all that stuff.
Or like the stairs. That was the best.
That was some of the best parts of me or like the car engine stuff.
I had I thought that was a really fun time. And yeah, I agree with all the points you're making about
this. Well, the ensemble felt like they all really knew each other. There was a sense of authenticity to the way they all
jived the way they all bonded with each other. And then
I thought about that too, like the director seemed like he was having a really fun time. There's some definite Sam Raimi inspirations in the way it's captured with its point of view.
Like Sam Raimi really made that popular with Evil Dead.
But then, and then for this to be doing that, but it felt like it was appropriate.
And it was funny.
It was like a funny movie a lot of times.
I had, I thought it was an excellent cult movie.
Yeah, that is the kind, it doesn't really entice me to want to watch more Tremors movies.
Right, right.
Because they kind of did everything I was hoping they would do in this movie.
Yeah, yeah.
I'm not like, I need to know the lore.
There was that one point where I started to wonder if they were going to go down some
lore rabbit hole since they were actually raising logical questions, you know? And I like that they
treated it like a real animal, you know, trying to understand where this might have actually
come from and raising good theories.
I guess I would be interested in that. I would be interested in if we're going after this
as billions of years old, why does it not dormant anymore? Like if we are going to do
sequels, we are at some point going to need to address why now and where's it coming from right? Yeah I just wonder if they would maybe kind of do this say I think
there's like six of these that my assumption I could be way wrong is that
they would just sort of do the same thing over and over. So you don't think
we'd ever explain why now and where they're coming from? I imagine maybe by
part four. I think they would go, eventually they would figure it out.
But part of the fun is not knowing what it is.
We kind of need the help of the people at home to know,
are we supposed to watch the rest of these?
Like, is this a good franchise?
Because the fact that you were looking on Amazon
and everybody, and they had good reviews, I'm shocked.
I've only ever heard of the first one of these.
Like, maybe you guys tell us the second one's amazing also,
but then after that they're not good.
I'm just curious, do you like this franchise?
I mean, there was a time, I don't know if the other ones went to theaters.
Maybe part two did.
But, you know, it's from the era, like the wrong turns,
when, you know, a lot of these movies would get a bunch of
sequels that went straight to VHS or DVD.
Like, From Dusk Till Dawn lived on that way for a long time.
This movie screamed 80s to me,
so it's interesting that it came out in 1990.
I mean, it was right at the end of 80s,
so the 80s influence would still be predominant
more than the 90s influence.
Right, but just it was such an 80s movie.
Like if I had just watched this
and wasn't thinking about Kevin Bacon
specifically in this being After Footloose or whatever, I if I just watch this and said what year was
this I would have guess it was mid 80s 80 86 maybe because it was just so the
characters the clothing but it also makes sense because they're in a rural
place it takes longer for the trends to change right like it's not gonna look
like it's in the 90s somewhere like here what did you think about the kids that
leaves it to good stakes I like the kids kids. They're fine boys a little stupid
I wish she died girls a little dumb to didn't mind
Upset that sheep died wish that boy died Greg out. I don't even remember the little girl died
I don't remember that I didn't say that
Did you say she died? I thought you said she's a sheep oh sheep died sheep yeah you're worse I wish the little
boy died he was awful little shit well girl didn't die I didn't think they were
gonna kill either of the kids it seems like it's starting right around like
the late 80s they started transitioning to not killing as many kids of movies if there's one thing I would have liked from the movie is if they did kill off more people though
Like they a lot of the people that were killed off were people who you'd had zero investment
You know like these random people working on the road. Although I think my favorite set piece is actually
Like I cared about him care about the shop owner that that one
like stung but the the one that was my favorite set piece would actually be the old the old
couple when the guy gets pulled to the ground and they swarm her in the car that that was
directed it was very well there was a actual like it was like fun but it was it was also
really tense and spooky yeah that was a that was a great sequence anything with the monsters
was actually really well done right let, let me ask you this.
Going into this movie, it was no secret to the audience
that you and I are not having the best time.
Mm-hmm.
For separate reasons. I forgot about my troubles
for a while.
You did?
That's nice.
Did you?
No?
I think I was very distracted.
Yeah, it happened.
Yeah, sometimes.
But I was so grateful to be watching a movie of this type.
I was just like, oh, thank God this is the kind of movie.
Like, I was glad that this wasn't super duper scary
right now, because I kinda needed something
a little more fun, and this was more fun than scary to me.
Yeah, you know, when we're having days like this,
it takes like some extra concentration.
Right.
But I do notice when I'm filming a reaction,
I pay attention way better to a movie or a show
than when I'm at home, honestly.
I try to watch shit at home and my mind is like zigzagging
and I'm just getting on my phone and I'm not very good.
So I like filming here because I'm forced to just
only pay attention to the movie.
I'm with you with that.
There's some moments where like remember we heard
a couple characters names or like when we saw
the cop car in the helmet and you're like,
who is that or those names?
And I was just like,
I think if I was a better version of myself today,
I might know the answers to those questions
you're asking me.
I like to be very detail oriented.
But no, I think that it was definitely
the perfect kind of movie today.
I'm really glad we saw it.
And if people say the second one is great,
I would be interested in watching more of these
if that was, if it was supposed to be good.
And if this one does well too. If it gets like 20,000 views ain't gonna be enough. We need at
least 21,000 views. We got editors to pay, we got mouse to feed, and I said mouse to pee so I don't
get it anymore. Well we got some questions here from the Royal rejects. I'm going to hop around this time.
Jump, jump, jump, jump around.
I'm going to start off on Tim Pierce.
What superpowers would you use to fight underground?
Goddamn monsters.
Tim Pierce asks superpowers.
I mean, if you had super strength, you could just like
literally obliterate it if you were Superman. Super speed.
Yeah, it wouldn't be able to keep up. You'd tire it out from its cardio.
And you could go get help.
Oh, yeah, I didn't even think about that. If you're the one with super speed, wouldn't you be the help?
I'd be like, what do you mean? You're the one I go to finding help.
No, if you have super speed, then you come back with a helicopter and come get the people.
That is true.
And you just let it own that land.
Yeah, yeah.
Give up on the land.
I mean, I don't think you'd want to stay living there after this.
That's true.
Maybe.
Did they lay eggs?
But you know, when you have like an area 51 situation, that's why I was watching.
I was like, oh man, this town could be worth a lot more money and they could like actually get tourists and stuff.
Well, the government would take over.
All right. Previewed a little bit of the second part of this. It sounds fun.
Start us in madness. I love Trevor's. It's one of my go to movies to put on when I'm sick. Nice. What an interesting healing.
No, I get why.
Yeah, it's good for the mind. I hope you had so much fun watching this. You both seem like active, busy people.
Do you think you'd be able to sit, walk quietly enough
to survive a grab-boyed invasion?
Are they called the grab-boys?
This is like the second time we've heard this,
grab-boyed?
That must be the thing.
What was the first time we heard it?
Didn't he just say grab-boyed?
He did not say grab-boyed.
No, that right there, that person said grab-boyed.
Who?
The bottom one.
Oh, you were reading ahead, okay. Speed reading around. I was like, what are you talking about? I. No, that right there. That person said grab boy. The bottom one.
Speed reading. I was like, what are you talking about?
I've never heard that word before.
The power of ADHD.
You can do shit like that.
Good for you, man.
You think you'll be able to walk quietly enough to try to grab
boys this way?
Uh, yeah.
Yes.
Yeah, absolutely.
When I, I've always thought that I would do decently in a quiet place.
I am able to shut down so easily.
When I have to, I am gone.
Like you will not notice that I exist.
Well, the problem with these,
and like this is gonna sound like
I'm being an immature little boy,
but sometimes, you know, people get gassy.
You can't control that.
I'm not people.
You're not one of those people.
Yeah.
You know, I like to have digestive enzymes and probiotics.
And if we're living in a quiet place, I will be consuming that fiber products, you know.
You never know.
But you think you're shaking the ground with your gas?
Like, could you just make it to the roof?
I mean, if you're holding it in long enough, can you imagine?
Especially in a quiet place, we wouldn't survive.
I don't know if I'd make vibrations.
And you can't suck it in at all, like...
Yeah, you definitely don't understand.
No, I don't get it.
That's what we're still doing.
Yeah, a little weird.
Just, yep, okay.
Anyway.
No, like you're like squeezing in your...
We have more.
God damn it, woman.
Did you know that Kevin Bacon considered this the lowest point in his career for many years?
What?
I thought he was great.
He only took the role for the money.
He was broke.
Kira was pregnant with their first child
and his mom had become ill.
And he couldn't believe how far he'd sunk.
God damn, I had no clue about any of this.
But now he says it was the most fun
he's ever had working on a movie.
RIP Fred Ward, I imagine that's the other guy.
That's the best friend in it.
He was great in this.
Yeah, I think Fred Ward and him were great.
I thought Kevin Bacon was so good.
He was one of the parts I was very complimentary of
because he's having fun and he blends in with the cast. He's definitely the lead, but
he doesn't feel like they're composing a movie around him.
You know what I think is amazing though, and what a great lesson to everybody, is that
sometimes we think something is like a low point for us, but then looking back on it,
we're like, no, that was actually, I made the most of that, and I'm so proud of myself
for doing that.
I think about that all the time.
I was just talking to Greg before this, just now,
about something I really, that I have to do for money,
that I don't feel like doing, but I have to do.
That sounds more nefarious than it is.
It's just a-
Oh, it's as nefarious as it sounds, people.
This is a job, and it's a totally fine job,
but the point being is, you never
know what opportunities can come from taking things
that you think might not be, might be, quote unquote,
below you, or not where you're at in that current moment.
And I think that it happens to even people
that we really admire.
And I'm glad that he was able to then put his ego aside
and have fun with this.
Because I could imagine why, after the career
he was having, reading this script it might read like you know this is not a big director you don't
know any of the other cast really like it's about this worm underground I could imagine
reading that and him being like but then it ended up being awesome so that's cool yeah
and also at that time, horror, nowadays, actors
are way more drawn to horror.
But back then, it was the lesser than Franchise,
less than their genre.
And that's so true.
It's one of those things where you're like,
I wish I realized the fun I was having in the moment,
instead of taking that for granted.
That's a good point.
was having in the moment. Right. Instead of taking that for granted. That's a good point.
Matt Lofkin for Roxy and Greg. That's us. Yep. I first saw Charmers as a kid after my dad had recorded it on video. I didn't know what I was watching until it was too late. After that I
wouldn't go on beaches. Oh, I remember drives. I was scared it might be underneath me. Yeah,
I had the same thing with anaconda. I was afraid to use the toilet because I thought a snake would go up my bumhole. To this day at 34, if I go on a
beach and if I still find myself wondering what if they're down there? My question to you is does this movie give you the
same shivers and have any other monster movies give you the same fears? Ah, I answered prematurely. Jaws putting you off
of swimming, for example. Jaws was another for me. So thanks to tremors and Jaws beaches were fun there's a lot of beach talk here love you guys love you
Matt Lofkin do you have something like that Roxy? It's not a movie but two things there are two
articles I read in the newspaper when I was a kid that prevented me from wanting
to do two very specific things for like my entire life and really scared the
crap out of me do you want to hear what they are? I would love to hear it. Okay, the first one was, I was out visiting California
and I believe it was in the LA Times
or it was in some major newspaper.
I read that somebody went to Venice Beach
and stepped on a needle and died
because they contracted a very serious disease
from that needle, just like a beach goer.
So every time I go to Venice Beach,
which is frequently, I live on the west side of town so I go
to Venice Beach every time I look down every step I take. That's smart. That scared the crap out of me.
And then the other one was that for those of you guys who don't know which
is probably the vast majority of you there's this Jewish tradition called the
Hora and you'll see it at a lot of Jewish celebrations where you lift people in this chair and you lift them up and you dance around them. And in the Boston Globe growing up,
I read that the people that they lifted had had a heart attack and died. And I was really
scared to do that at my mutt mitts for that because I was like, what if I had a heart
attack and die? And my parents had to remind me that the person who died was in their 90s.
Oh, Jesus.
A little bit different.
And those were the two things that really scared me.
Anyway.
Those are good answers, man.
Oh, I remember them.
Like, those were the things that I read and was like, oh, no.
I'm going to die.
Yeah, my famous one is that around the time
I saw a preview for Anaconda and I saw a news report, maybe the news report was like a preview for Anaconda and I
saw a news report. Maybe the news
report was doing it because of
Anaconda where a woman sat on a
toilet and there was a snake
there and it killed her.
And I didn't realize I was like
in my 30s which is now that I
was like as I've been afraid my
for there's like solid 10 years
where I was like oh my God is
going to snake that's going to
go up my butthole when I sit down.
And then I realized like, wait, there was never anything in the story
about it going up her butthole.
It's just something I've totally made up.
So it must have just bitter.
But I had this whole thing I convoluted as like a real thing.
I was like, I don't think there was anything about that.
I'm like, why would that even work?
What are the mechanics here? Why did your mind go there? I don't know. I was a little boy. I was like, I don't think there was anything about that. I'm like, why would that even work? The mechanics here.
Why did your mind go there?
I don't know, I was a little boy.
I just assumed it's an entryway, you know?
Thomas Doherty, what would your strategy be?
I got a meeting, Rox.
I know, but we're on story time
and you promised you would tell me the story.
I'll tell it right after the questions.
Reject nation, I have officially lost over 45 pounds this year.
I am still working on a couple of extra goals for body composition development.
And I'm proud to say I've done it with no injections, no crash diets, just pure discipline,
consistent training, and yeah, fuel with fuel.
When I started back in January, I was like 218 pounds and now I'm averaging between like
171 to 173.
And one of the things that's helped me genuinely stay on track with having such a busy schedule,
especially now that we have this like office away from my home, I got a fridge right over
there that is packed with so much of this.
Huel's Black Edition Ready to Drink.
This thing's got 35 grams of protein, 27 essential

Thomas Doherty feel good. Thanks to Heal for sponsoring this video. to leave their location in order to do the bait thing. But they could have been at the house and doing the bait thing.
Or right when they got to the guy with the bombs,
like, there's your solution.
Just bait it out.
If you guys were able to shoot it to death,
you can get it in its mouth.
It's like not far-fetched.
Bait it out, Greg Alba, 2025.
That's what I'm talking about, peeps.
And yes, I loved his performance.
KJ Gold.
Tremors is a really fun creature feature action comedy.
What small size critters would you
love to see become a giant animal menace?
Mine would be Godzilla sized guinea pigs.
Oh.
That would be wild.
That would be creepy.
Oh, yeah.
Anything like that.
Mice, rats, guinea pigs.
What about a goldfish?
I mean, it would need water, right?
I mean, it would still be pretty scary underwater.
I feel like a bobcat, like bobcats already freak me out
because they look like giant cats.
So I think like a bobcat would be like a freaky ass thing.
A moth.
Yeah, bugs were, I think bugs were like a big thing
in the nineties as like something to fear. Yeah, still. oh my the thing. I'm most afraid of everybody here knows Greg had to experience it once as cockroaches. Yeah
Oh imagine that giant. Oh my god. That'll be awful stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop stop
Eric Horstman my man tremors my go-to when I'm feeling shit
Just a good fun
time the pair up of Bacon Ward and Gross McIntyre are the best oh yeah too I love
them as a couple I was so worried when the guy was when I thought the husband
would die I'm like no I love them as a husband and wife I like how they were
both like capable and had guns and you know I agree wasn't just like taking
care of the woman who are some of your favorite comedy action pairings
Side note I met Michael Gross when he was on my all-time favorite sitcom growing up family ties
Nicest guy ever also met Reba VIP backstage concert and just as sweet as damn. Oh, that's awesome. This movie must mean a lot to you I loved the Owen Wilson Jackie Chan team up recently. I
Watched it for the channel and I was like oh they are so
good together. Their chemistry is unreal. The Rush Hour films are
phenomenally bigger. I prefer their chemistry and their pairing. I think
there's something I'm way more into but I would
probably go Chris Tucker, Jackie Chan is my number two. I also am obsessed with Abby and Alana
and they do some action stuff.
They end up doing some stoner action stuff together.
That's fun.
Those are my answers.
I did like Seth Rogen and James Franco
on Pineapple Express.
Cancelled.
Yeah.
Oh, there's one action comedy franchise that I can't list.
Canceled!
KevB, if you lived in Perfection, Nevada, love that.
How do you think you try to stay alive when Graboids start attacking?
Oh man, that's a common question.
Alright, what's the second question then?
Maybe... Second answer.
I feel like we didn't try to light them on fire at any point
And they just have a lot of access to like shit like that like yeah oil and stuff
There's just things that we could have tried. Yeah spraying them with under pest control
I think they had a budget problem. They couldn't do some shit. Yeah, or it would have ended the movie a lot earlier
They had to pad out that runtime. I think the movie could have been trimmed down
by like 10 more minutes.
I actually think so too, yeah.
That's all 10 minutes.
I think there was like a little stretcher,
like come on guys.
Yeah, I agree, I agree.
Kevin Meek, love this movie so much.
Favorite B movie ever.
It was filmed in Lone Pine, not far from LA.
There's a really cool mountain bike trail out there
called Movie Road Trail.
What?
I would love to see that.
Oh, I would love that. Real rejects trip, let's go baby that's my jam dude that's awesome 17
miles long and takes you through beautiful scenery where several phones
been shot oh thanks for this I it is now a good moment to tell you that I don't
know how to ride a bike I don't know how to ride a bike it takes me a while to
figure it out but I'm glad we're not alone on that. Okay.
Yeah, it was until my 20s when I finally got a grip on it.
Def, worth checking out, can be a tough place.
Nah, man, that sounds like a perfect time for me.
The practical effects and real location make this movie kind of infectious.
I love when you guys share your mini reviews.
Yeah, me too.
And Kevin Bacon, of course.
What is another film of this caliber that sticks with you for some of the same reasons?
Those reasons being practical effects, real location.
B-movie, I think, yeah.
I mean, the obvious one would be like Evil Dead 2,
just because of all the practical effects that are in there.
I mean, that would be my answer, if I'm being honest.
If I don't wanna try to sound smart in my go-to,
I would say that one.
I love that too, which I also watch for this channel.
There's so many horror movies that do this that are exactly what you just described
But what was the name of that movie that you had me watch on the day?
I was supposed to watch another movie and then I doubled up to watch them
and it is
like
Jackie Chan directed it and starred in it police story story? Yeah. Isn't that a B movie?
I mean it's a Hong Kong movie. I don't know if it's a B movie.
Well, I guess like the budget was supposedly much lower, I thought.
Isn't that what makes something a B movie?
That's what I think about when I think like, oh my god, there was such cool, like the way this was shot
and the way that they did things was just so cool.
And it was all like practical stuff.
Yeah. and the way that they did things was just so cool. And it was all like practical stuff.
Yeah.
It's not scary, but with him going down the...
Yeah, I think B movies normally associated
with like pulp horror, pulp action.
Okay, so not that one.
I'll come up with a movie.
That's just a good action movie in a different country.
It was.
It was.
But America first.
America always first.
We were the first thing ever to exist on this.
Sorry, sorry.
Resonance Z. That's a cool title.
Resonance Z. That's clever.
Resonance.
Tremors is probably one of my favorite comedy horror movies.
The characters are smart.
That's another thing I respected is like, other than the fact that it took too long to get around to a thing
and rarely do anything to put themselves in danger
They also actively try to gather information react to new information clever ways
I like that the tremors were also adaptable and uh would outwit the humans
My question and that one of them was smarter than the others
Yeah, and then one of our humans was smart enough to figure out that that one was smarter than the others
My questions are would you have done anything differently besides leaving immediately?
Yes, we have definitely established that.
A tough question because I feel like they already did a good
job, but who is your favorite character and why?
I really liked Kevin Bacon.
What's Kevin Bacon's friend's name?
Fred Ward.
Fred Ward.
I don't know the actor's, the character's name.
That's like my introduction to this guy,
or maybe I've seen him in something and I don't remember,
but I thought he was amazing. I was very hooked. So this guy. Or maybe I've seen him in something and I don't remember. But I thought he was amazing.
I was very hooked. So much to the point that I thought he was gonna die early on because he was so likable right away.
That I was concerned this guy would be off so early to create some emotional impact for Kevin Bacon's Val character.
I definitely know I knew him because he was my favorite as well. I definitely knew him because I knew his name.
And when we saw him I was like, I recognize his'm not store I'm not sure where I know him from oh true detective hmm that's probably he was in a couple of us of that he's number one most known for. He's a hundred and fourteen titles. I know somebody said R.I.P. to him.
He died only a couple years ago.
So R.I.P. at 79 years old.
Well damn.
Two guns.
Anyway.
Yeah. That's my favorite character.
Do you have a favorite character?
I think it was also him.
I really liked him. I also liked Kevin Bacon obviously.
I don't know what either of like Kevin Bacon obviously. I don't
know what either their character names were do you? Valentine and... Oh yeah Valentine.
And some... doesn't matter. I'm moving on. Earl. Earl. Earl. J.Rushton, if you know what the worms act like cattle, what's your
favorite worm death here? Ooh. I think that you already said it but the one with
the car. I mean that's the human death. I think the worm death. Oh, I thought I meant death caused by a worm
Oh, I mean the death of a worm
That's how I interpreted it and I think it allows for variety here in our time to even fight to be wrong
I love when they are on look cuz I love when they unload on the real maggot iron does man because that's my
You just see them with two guns and they go
to some wall you never saw before. It is so many fucking
guts and they just go to town. That was so fun. Doomsday
Preppers Unite. That was awesome. Last one of the day if
you could from Grimbane 42 if you could give the gang one
piece of modern technology to help with their little grab
void situation
What would it be a rocket launcher? Yeah, I don't know if that's modern technology
But I give it a rocket launcher and perhaps I don't know a star
Flamethrower
Flamethrower that's yeah, I mean those existed back then I don't I mean, but then I would give them modern technology. I would give them a
satellite
Starlink cell phones, Starlink.
Cell phones.
The Starlink internet, because apparently
that kind of internet is good for those places out there.
So they wouldn't have lost even like a call for help.
Yeah, that's good.
Yeah.
I kind of was inserting the ones that I said
while you were talking.
Yeah, well, you were just saying stuff
that has already existed during their time.
Like a phone. Cell phone?
I mean, didn't they? There was like 80s cell phones. They were just shitty cell phones. Oh
I'm good cell phones a current fun iPhone, but that's why I would Instagram but but they wouldn't get signal
So you have to have the Starlink internet
Instagram it's fine Instagram prevails. I would have given them chat GBT. They could have asked what they could have done
and got out of there.
Hey, you ready guys?
No, Greg, Greg, we're not doing this.
What?
You have to answer.
Oh shit, all right.
Come on, you promised.
I got one minute, all right.
You have to tell me the story.
I'll tell you in one minute.
Okay, so I was like a little boy
and my dad had become friends with one of my friends' dad.
You know how it works.
And it was like super duper late at night and my dad had a boundary problem.
And he decided like, I'm just going to go, we're just going to go there.
We're in the neighborhood.
And then we just literally just walked onto their property and then knocked on their door
and they didn't answer.
And my dad just decided to open the door.
Oh my God. And there
was my friend at the time, I was like five years old, he was jumping in his underwear, never forget
it, he was in his, he's a single dad, jumping in his underwear with a lollipop, excited as his dad
put a shotgun bullet in front and loaded it, it was like right in our face, ready to kill us because
they thought we were trespassers.
And he was ready to kill us. So yeah.
What happened?
You put down the gun?
We laughed it off. Yeah, it was funny.
That's... Were you so afraid?
No, no. I was an empty child. So I just shut down in situations like that.
Did you know what was happening?
Yeah, I put it together after I saw the shotgun there. But I was like, yeah.
I was the kind of guy that people started yelling.
I would just shut down emotionally.
You were five.
Yeah, I know.
I was the kind of guy when I had it.
I had an upbringing and a condition.
We had five years old to be that.
Didn't start feeling my emotions until my like
20s when I started really feeling my feelings.
Anyway, anyway, that's it for today.
I got to swing into a meeting. But thank you guys so much for being here. Anyway. That's it for today. I gotta swing into a meeting,
but thank you guys so much for being here.
Let us know your thoughts down below on tremors.
And if this does well enough, maybe we'll do the sequel.
We'll let you know.
We got a lot in the pipeline already.
We'll see you guys.
