Starting point is 00:00:00 It is the cold habitual and it is the cold of the cold at his summit Cozlight
Starting point is 00:00:08 in view a friday celebrate of a fashion responsible you have to have the age
Starting point is 00:00:11 legal for consuming of alcohol Thank you to Shopify for sponsoring this video more on them
Starting point is 00:00:18 in just a bit We love you guys let's freaking go right this is like the 15th time we've done this
Starting point is 00:00:27 intro all right all right okay okay all right all right okay all right okay all right if you're listening to us on you know uh Spotify Apple all the things just give us five stars leave a comment like subscribe just do all the right things make us look good okay thanks to proper homies yeah thank you to proper also Eric NerdCronic helps out too um okay all right all right okay okay rocks just i don't know what's your how do you feel right now um you know it didn't have the same shock value as wrong turn two um because of the baby gate at the end totally this is a franchise clearly about twists and turns and gore and titties and
Starting point is 00:01:27 like cannibalism and uh i'm along for the ride listen like i can't say i don't enjoy every minute of these movies because i do i do i do also could this have been five-minute movie there's so much there's like so little to talk about yet so much to talk about because they have made a whole franchise off of like the performances are wackadoo wild in this but like kind of on purpose it seems but all different are chavis as dude was like legit so solid i agree he was like so so good so grounded and like the rest of um well our main girl she she was very clearly so on purpose is trying to be like over the top like oh whoa it's me yeah so it's like they were just all in different their own worlds and
Starting point is 00:02:22 sometimes that is life um but it works because this is so soap opera even I really think this is a horror comedy because that's, this is goofy. I agree. I do. I mean, especially with adding in that, that redheaded character in the beginning. Oh, my God. And all the jokes, he's being annoying. You're like, you're trying to set a pace
Starting point is 00:02:41 a tone here to be comedic. Her friend in the beginning. That's right. Yeah. Boobie girl. Booby girl, totally. She's like, do you think, yeah. I mean, that was like obviously meant to be ridiculous. Man, I just, I, I, I, I,
Starting point is 00:02:57 only wish, and I always say this in a lot of movies with specific horror movies, is there are just a few points where I'm like, just make the character smart. You could still do everything that you did if you just made them a little smarter. The second you find a gun at the very beginning, you are a cop before you take it. Aren't you going to like check it? Or when you give it to Walter, hey buddy, here's a gun. He won't suspect it. Okay. Like check it. Right. I don't know if it's loaded like that was just that's just because if i'm walter i'm honestly expecting that he already that he already checked so it's not as much on y'all are cops i agree it's not is not as much on walter i mean walter probably thinking he's definitely given you a load of gun because why else would
Starting point is 00:03:45 he handed to you and not say anything so there's that um but then also the girl just the whole time like you've been hiding in the woods for two days these people come out and you just like leap on them with no you don't even have a branch in your hand totally but then later on this big ass skinhead goes to try to assault you and you kick the crap out of it kicks butt like literally like moves him over bum bum in the in the groin like as low she knows karate karate so um inconsistent i would say some things but it doesn't really matter because it's not the point of these movies like they're not trying to be great they're trying to be weird and they are uh some of the effects looked amazing in this and some of them looked wacky wild yeah yeah i would
Starting point is 00:04:33 say like most of all the practical stuff they do they do it really really well the special effects in regards to cutting the guy in three and then having the face slide off you can very much tell it you know it's not practical special effects there were a little bit where i'm like uh could they have made that look better yeah but the money went probably to just the explosion and also having that guy in barbed wire on the back of the truck and the two car accidents the two car accidents having the the sheriff lady all covered naked and barbed wire looked cool yeah the the beginning arrow through the boob and then she gets the eye that looked cool that was practical like they used it they still added in enough practical effects for me to appreciate it to go that's cool and it's probably i have to
Starting point is 00:05:23 assume that this is a million dollar budget movie not a 10 million dollar budget movie so right i'm way more willing to give them leeway because i think that this is a significantly lower budget movie and good on them that they didn't give it to as i'm sorry i am an actress but they didn't give it to a star started actor cast and they were like we just need a star to um get this going so that's where a lot of our budget's going these were all people that you and i couldn't name um and so i think that they were really concerned with the story and how they wanted it to look as opposed to paying talent more
Starting point is 00:05:55 for bigger names. I am curious who that Chavez dude is, though, because he was, like, legit good. He was great. And I don't mean everybody else wasn't, because I think that that's more of a direction and choice thing. You know, I'd love to see them in different things, like the main other cop dude. Who survived?
Starting point is 00:06:12 Yeah, I thought that, like, he made some interesting choices. Yeah, he did a good job. And even, like, the Redhead, he's clearly being given a task, like, do this annoy the piss out of everybody. Yeah, he did a great job because we were like, he's so annoying. Yeah, you're the worst.
Starting point is 00:06:26 He did a great job with his comedic tone pace. Like, throughout the whole thing, he's like, I'm going to take a deuce. Like, you can tell all of his lines. He's like, I just wipe my ass with the $100 bill. It's like they're trying to keep him around to get some laughs out of the audience to make it sort of what you're saying. Where in most bloody horrors, you kind of want to have the laugh factor in it, too.
Starting point is 00:06:45 And they, you know, they hit that with him. A lot of this was clearly a bad. convenience though because like even i'm thinking about when we killed the first cop it's like why do we keep him around for so long the red head why we keep these people around like why are we keeping them around yeah it's because they wanted to do kills and cool ways so that's fine that's fine you know but we didn't kill walter in that cool of a way we shot him in the head i'm like why not the three scenes before where it would have just been cooler the cop is giving you something he can lead you out of there that's where i'm keeping him alive and then just going yeah okay your friend's no use
Starting point is 00:07:20 to me kill him there have that have that shot happens there i get it i agree it's still that was the one thing that bug me that i just want to want that's more badass and then we really would have been a little more scared i think of chavez of like don't turn on him he will literally he doesn't care he'll kill you he seemed to have no rhyme or reason on when he did kill people agreed it's like what are you turning on people for i wish i kind of like understood but you know he does say at the beginning like i'll probably kill all of you guys eventually so yeah maybe it is just he is unhinged and when he wants he does what he wants um he just wanted him to carry like the money yeah okay what do you want to see in the fourth one like what are you
Starting point is 00:08:05 hoping for from this franchise i mean i am curious how many of our crazy cannibals are left because in And the last movie, it seemed like we had a whole family, like a lot. I don't know if we killed them all. Now it seems like we kill them all in that one house. I'm sure there will be more. I think what I want to see is more like, what are they doing with their lives in this, like, cannibal arena? And then, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I, I'm just curious to see more about, like, why do they need to keep killing? Because it seemed like they had a lot of dead bodies. it seems like they're doing well I'm a little more curious like the reasoning why we have to keep yeah maybe for sport you know what I want to see they love it I want to see one of the cannibals
Starting point is 00:08:59 turn good like they oh my god I love it that's a good idea anymore and they're just like my whole family like it doesn't have to be this way I see that they like just want to be good they can't talk they're gonna be like uh and like take me with you
Starting point is 00:09:13 oh my god because like we need to get variety of the cannibals now. I agree. Cannibal variety is essential. It's true. I feel like I maybe like to see a kill that we haven't seen before, but I really like the guy in the barbed wire on the back.
Starting point is 00:09:33 That was really good. That was awesome. And then the dragging him on the asphalt, great kill. I also thought the dude with the money burning alive and the money. Great stun. He was like burning for a long time. He probably did multiple takes, but like, good job on that stunt. That looked awesome.
Starting point is 00:09:48 And the car crashes were practical. I love that. I think mainly what I would like to see is just keep up the practical stuff, which I assume that these people who are in charge of this franchise are fans of old school horror. That's why they're going for practical. Of course, when we need to use special effects like face and cutting a body into three, we'll utilize it. I would like for them to keep that up because I think they do a really good job of it.
Starting point is 00:10:14 I hope that you're right that in wrong term four, wrong turn four, we get sliced into four pieces I do right and then five is five like that would be so smart if they did that that would be so great I want quarters for sure oh my God I don't even know I don't I don't know where else they can go
Starting point is 00:10:34 totally like cut them into four good times do you think that from now until the seventh so we have four five six and seven do you think we'll recognize a single actor by name Rejignation, when we started this company, there was no manual throughout the years of figuring out how to edit, how to be on camera, and with this company expanding, we were like, now we want to figure out how to sell merch, handle orders, and do it all in a way that actually looked, well, legit. And if I'm being real, I wish we had Shopify on our side from day one. Because today we use Shopify to power rejectnation shop.com. One of our main sources of income, one of the best.
Starting point is 00:11:16 way to support the channel and it's in large part thanks to Shopify and we're not alone. Shopify supports millions of businesses around the world. Starting point is 00:11:39 You don't need a full team. Shopify helps you market too. You can run email and social campaigns straight from the platform. efficiency and the back end it handles shipping inventory returns all of it so if you're ready to sell you are ready for shopify turn your big business idea into with shopify on your side sign it from one dollar per month trial and start selling at shopify dot com slash rejects once again that's shopify dot com slash rejects thank you shopify for helping become an extension of real rejects because we are not looking at all no no There's no way.
Starting point is 00:12:17 I don't think so. You don't think so. I don't think so. Because like you said, two really hit pretty hard. It was like, whoa. And one, we loved. We were like, this movie, why didn't we heard about it? It's so great.
Starting point is 00:12:30 We did really, really like it. We liked to, and we love this one as well. This one just had a little more plot holes, right? The character seemed like they weren't written as strongly. There's a few weak parts with the writing. Not a big deal. all the rest of the effects, like I said, and the horror stuff makes up for it.
Starting point is 00:12:49 That's the point of these movies. I don't think that they could, I don't know, though. I don't think we're going to know anybody. I really don't. Because it... I'm hoping we at one person, we're like, what?
Starting point is 00:13:01 That's where they got their star. Oh, my God. That would be wild. That would be very fun. It would be fun. I... Who do you think would be... Okay, let's do this.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Who do you think that you would cast if you're like, not a big star, But like B, C level, you're like, yeah, I'd put them in this, in this horror because you think they would do it. But then also because you think they'd be good. Can I pick E level? Yeah. Us.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Yeah, totally. I mean, we would be dope. It'd be so crazy to use somebody like, like a Brandon Routh, like, you know, like Superman. Right. Old school. And then he did Legends of Tomorrow. It would be just so crazy to see somebody who was like back in the day huge or like. Totally.
Starting point is 00:13:44 Or someone from like, what if it was? was one of the boys from like Friday night lights became like you know this guy like they're and they're still working like whatever but it they're they're not like a list kind of except for what's his nuts who married kirsten dunst my favorite jessie plummins my favorite thing would be and and uh michael bjordan oh yeah duh and kyle chanler well kongney britt never never any of those but the other ones the other ones they're all great like that they're all great like that they Things is, in Friday Night Lights, I was like, such good actors in that TV show. Wouldn't it be amazing if they did like, this is the end, but here?
Starting point is 00:14:27 Like, what if we could pull out all the stops and did like Jonah Hill, Seth Rogan, like, Jay Barishall, like all the... In this? In like four, that would be awesome. Obviously, that's not happening, but how crazy would that be if they were dealing with cannibals? That would actually turn out to be funny. because you know that they would have a hand in the writing. It would be hysterical. And they would make it really good.
Starting point is 00:14:52 There definitely wouldn't be any plow holes in that, though it would be a lot funnier. That's what I got for you, boo. It's good. It's good. It's good. I love it. Yeah, we don't really want to look up trivia because we don't want any spoilers. Let's take a guess.
Starting point is 00:15:09 You guys can leave it in the, well, are you going in the comments? She's sometimes. Yeah, go in the comments. Oh, but let's guess what the, no spoilers, but, We'll take a guess here before we head off what we think the Rotten Tomato Scores are. I think, okay, I think critics. Are you going to check it? Should I?
Starting point is 00:15:28 Because that's not a big deal, right? No, check it. Yeah, I'll check it. I'll check it. Okay. Okay, I'm going to guess. Okay, I'm going to guess that Critics is 61 and audience. What are you?
Starting point is 00:15:39 Tara, Tara, Tara, Tara, shut off. Do we think that's too high? I think it might be a 12. I'm like 61 I know it's like a little high but I didn't want to go like 43 look the critics look up immediately I'm guessing 20 audience 21 and what do you think audience though 50 I think 21 and 50 okay I'm gonna go audience 69 I am so confused by you right now what did you say critics I said I said 61 oh my God it was bad it was bad hold on rotten tomatoes wrong turn 3 yep
Starting point is 00:16:16 left for dead let's freaking go oh god there is legit no rating for the critics they're out of the game no no critics are saying anything in this tomato meter and the audience
Starting point is 00:16:31 is 24% yeah yeah dude wait let me see click on the four reviews what are the four reviews no let's look at it okay a sluggish what's the review score uh okay oh zero out of four okay a sluggish and terminally unimvolving endeavor that strikes all the wrong notes
Starting point is 00:16:54 virtually from the word go who says it um david new sarah okay kevin car he gave it a two out of five he says for as much as the budget was bound on bus crashes that's what we said and explosions they could have invested more in mutants i like the music i haven't even talked about the score i actually really dug the score. The music was great. Like them coming in with basically they kind of have a mutant score now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like with it come, which I like. Um,
Starting point is 00:17:20 Steve at Dred Central gave it 1.5 at a 5. You only need one finger to give wrong turn 3, left or dead a thumbs down. Well, the last one and said Jules Brenner gave it 1.5 out of 5 would be nothing without the squishy soundtrack. The
Starting point is 00:17:36 soundtrack. The soundtrack. Listen, here's the deal. Is this movie good? no of course the movies are no do am i loving it yes absolutely yes i am you know we love we love this kind of juice i mean it's fun for us to see different types of kills like where are they going to go with this like it sometimes it seems ridiculous that we're still rolling like you said could it have been a five-minute movie maybe we don't know anyway you guys let us know what you think in the comments um we're going to watch the next one you'll be there for us we appreciate you guys watching with us. Don't forget we are the
Starting point is 00:18:12 Sheejects. Get your Sheeget gear, you cult of Sheeject's juice. We also have our Reject sweater available as well as, I mean, I know it's not summer yet, but you guys know our spooky season. We start getting we just start getting ready now
Starting point is 00:18:28 and we have our spooky shirt. Hell yeah. Somebody bought a couple the other day. Oh, good. So get on top of it. We love you guys and we'll see you on the next one. E-hee. John, what do we do? Oh, we got to find out what the letters of your name are, what your acronym is. Yeah, so I think Jay stands for jovial. You sound like a social butterfly.
Starting point is 00:18:57 I stands for imaginative, for I bet that you have a broad and vivid imagination. N stands for nihilistic because that imagination is, Joker territory. H stands for... I messed up. It's okay. I'm sorry. We're spelling it like when people spell my name, J-O-N-H.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Moron. J-H-H-N-W-N. We're doing that to you. Gin-H-H-H-H-H-I-Mis-N-H. I miss Fred. It's all good because H stands for... It stands for harmony, which, you know, no matter where you place the H in Jeanniehi's name, there is harmony.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Well, amongst the other letters. I stands for I feel stupid for doing that. H stands for he should feel stupid because that was messed up. And then the last I stands for I am so sorry. I really do apologize. I apologize as well as what the first I in your last name stands for. And then the H is, how will you ever forgive me for my terrible mistake? And the last I stands for I will.
Starting point is 00:20:10 turn that alarm off. Take care.
