Welcome to the Resilient Mind podcast.
In this episode, you will be listening to, a compilation on how to change your life.

There is never a reason for you to be without something that you desire.
Nor is there ever a reason for you to experience something that you do not desire.
For you absolutely hold the total control over your experience.
You always hold the power to control your own life experience.
The only reason that you could ever experience something other than that which you desire
is because you're giving the majority of your attention to something other than what you
really, really want.
Think of this for a moment.
You already know how to do better than you're doing, but you're not doing it.
Everybody does.
See, the part of our mind that knows things and the part that controls our behavior,
two different parts.
That's right.
So let's talk about your power, your mind, and your paradigm.
The paradigm is the programming and the subconscious mind that controls our behavior.
Your subconscious mind must accept everything that's given to it.
And that's the universal mind.
That's what controls the vibration you're in.
Whatever information you impress, you must accept it has no ability to reject.
Now think of this.
Your subconscious mind cannot differentiate between what's real and what's imagined.
Whatever you impress, whether you imagine it, whether you hear it, read it,
if you get emotionally involved in it, it's real.
You see, it's what you impress upon the subconscious
that controls the vibration you're in.
The vibration you're in is the frequency that you're operating on.
If you are operating on a negative frequency, you're going to feel bad.
Feeling is a word we invented to describe our conscious awareness of the vibration we're in.
A feeling of passion or enthusiasm indicates that there is a very strong desire focused in the moment.
A feeling of rage or revenge or anger also indicates that there is a very strong desire.
So the level of intensity of your emotion indicates how strong that desire is.
However, a feeling of lethargy or boredom indicates very little focus and very little desire in the moment.
When you really, really, really want something and you are thinking about your desire and feeling pleasure from that thought,
Your thought vibration is now in alignment with your desire,
and the current that is flowing through you toward your intended desire
has no restriction or resistance.
Again, that's all we're looking to achieve.

This is so good.
You can't believe it's going to have.
He's walking back saying, this is going to be so big.
See?
That's where you want to be.
Just because you don't see it, it doesn't matter.
when you really, really, really want something
and are feeling anger or fear or disappointment,
that means you are focused upon the opposite of your desire,
and in doing so, you are introducing another non-matching vibration to the mix,
and the degree of negative emotion that you are now experiencing
indicates the degree of your resistance or blockage to receiving your desire.
All you have to do is just monitor how you feel.
When your emotions are strong, whether they feel good or feel bad, your desire is strong.
That's why Napoleon Hill said you have to have a strong desire.
Some people call it a magnificent obsession.
You can only get what you want if you have a strong desire for it.
So your emotions have to be intense.
If they're not, that means the desire isn't there.
Change what you're looking.
Find something that hits the sweet spot.
You have to really, really get excited about it and have a strong emotion.
When your emotions feel good, whether they are strong or weak, you are allowing the fulfillment
of your desire.
So feeling good emotions, whether they're really intense or weak, you're in alignment.
When your emotions feel bad, whether they're strong or weak, you are in a state of disallowing
or blocking that desire from coming into your life.
When your emotions are absolute indicators of your vibrational content, therefore they are the
perfect reflection of your current point of attraction.
help you know in any moment whether you are you whether you are or whether you are not
currently allowing that desire to come into your life you may believe that you
cannot control your emotions and you may believe that you should control your
emotions but you need to know that your approach to your emotions should be a
different viewpoint you should pay attention to how you feel and allow your
emotions to be the valuable indicators
that they are. Be thankful for your emotions. And if you feel bad, be thankful. Because that is your
guidance system at work. Be thankful for it. I'm really mad. You know, I'm so thankful I feel
mad. Because now I know that my vibration is off. Thank you, anger. Let me fix it. You see,
some people say, that's hard to do. Well, right now.
for you maybe it is try it anyway because I guarantee it'll become a lot easier
and a lot more fun the law of attraction always yields to you and the balance of
your thoughts no exception you get what you think about whether you want it or not
and in time with practice you will come to remember that the law of attraction is
always consistent it never tricks you it never deceives you it
never confuses you. The law of attraction responds precisely to the vibration that you are offering.
But the confusion for many comes because they are offering vibrations that they do not realize
their offering. They know that they hold a desire in a specific direction, and they know that
their desire has not yet come to them. But when they often do, what they often do is not realize
is that they are offering the majority of their thoughts in opposition to their own desire.
Once you understand your own emotional guidance system,
you will never again offer your vibrations in ignorance.
In time, you will achieve with such keen awareness,
perfect understanding of how your emotions tell you what you're vibrating.
Every moment.
If the thought that you are currently focusing on
is taking you toward or away from something you desire,
you will know by how you feel.
The thought and the vibration you're putting out
is taking you toward what you want.
You will feel higher on the emotional scale.
If the vibration you're putting out
is taking you away, you will feel worse.
You will learn to literally feel your way
to the things you desire on every subject.
That's why I say this is so easy
because now we just have to monitor our feelings.
I will give you a little hint though.
There are things that block or numb your emotional guidance system.
Toxins, bad food, drugs, both prescription, non-prescription recreational,
all block your emotions.
Even aspirin.
They start weakening that ability for you to determine how you feel.
So getting a clean physical body and mind by doing the cleanses and natural cures
and following some of the suggestions in Chapter 6
really make you much more keenly aware of that feeling,
which allows you to be much more accurate
in helping you control your vibration.
If you're not being defined by a vision of the future,
then you're left with the old memories of the past
and you will be predictable in your life.
The quantum model of reality is about causing an effect.
The moment you start feeling abundant and worthy,
generating wealth. The moment you're empowered and feel it, you're beginning to step towards your
success. The moment you start feeling whole, your healing begins. And when you love yourself and you
love all of life, you'll create an equal. And now you're causing an effect. And I think that's the
difference between living as a victim in your world saying, I am this way because of this person or
that thing or this experience. They made me think and feel this way. When you switch that around,
to become a creator of your world and you start saying, my thinking and my feeling is changing
an outcome in my life.
And now that's a whole different game and we start believing more that we're creators
of reality.
And when you start having that burning desire, the intensity of the transmission that's
coming out of your brain that you're broadcasting is very high and the power is very high.
And because you have a burning desire, you're going to be thinking about it all the time
the broadcast is very frequent, the duration of that broadcast is longer. Therefore, should
come right into your experience somehow. You don't need to know the how. Because the law
of attraction will make it happen. How does the law of attraction make it happen? It basically
will create and put into your life events and circumstances that you're you, you
you can't even imagine to create what you want.
It will move mountains to put into your existence what you're asking for.
Napoleon Hill said it this way.
Napoleon Hill described this process as define clearly what you want and then get a burning desire for its attainment.
That was the whole Andrew Carnegie secret.

When you do that, you activate something that will create it into existence.
And he said, you're already learning the secret.
So what?
He said, the secret is believing.
you can do it. And once you do that, everything else works, everything else falls into place.
And I said, no, no, no, no. I want to learn the secret. It took me about 10 years to figure out
that that is the secret. And I heard these phrases such as, success is a decision away. And what
the heck does that mean? I heard it a thousand times. I didn't understand what it meant. I'm going to
explain it this weekend. But the secret was that decision is just the belief that you can do it.
That decision is the belief that what you want is going to happen. That is the magic right there.
That's where the rubber meets the road. The first chapter of the magic of thinking big,
believe you can succeed and you will, is the powerful magic. The powerful magic. The powerful
magic is knowing that you will succeed. That's the frequency that creates it into your life.
That's why that phrase, success is a decision away, is so powerful. The decision is saying,
I'm going to do it, that's it, period.
that's the choice when you come to the place where you say and decide I'm going to do
it that's it period I'm going to do it that's it period when you get to that place I'm going to
do it that's it period everyone stand up everyone stand up repeat after me I'm going to do
it that's it period ready repeat I'm going to do it that's it period I'm going to do it that's it period
Again, repeat, I'm going to do it, that's it, period.
Again, repeat, I'm going to do it, that's it, period.
Once you are aware of the power of your thoughts
and your ability to allow in the things that you desire,
you now have complete creative control over everything in your life.
But if you are predominantly focused on the results
of your focused thoughts,
rather than the feeling of those thoughts,
you could lose your way.
This is very important.
Remember I said the number one thing was not what...
I never ever said the number one thing you look at
is what's coming into your life.
I said the number one thing you have to focus on is what?
Feeling good.
That's where you focus is.
Don't worry about the results.
Don't worry about, you know, every day I wake up,
I'm looking for something to give me some evidence
that this is working.
No.
It's like the seed.
You don't have to get any evidence.
You can keep digging it up every day to see if the roots are growing.
You just have to know.
So don't focus on the results or any evidence in the physical world.
Focus on your feeling.
And just know it'll come in.
It was an LP that came out in 1967 by Earl Nightingale.
I'm sure you've heard of it, called The Strangest Secret.
If you have not listened to that, it's on cassette and CD.
I recommend you do.
The strangest secret, according to Earl Nightingale, is you become what you think about.
You become what you think about.
You become what you think about.
And Earl Nightingale called it the strangest secret because he said, it's not a secret at all.
But nobody applies it.
It's too simple, which makes it strange.
The greatest truths in life are the simplest.
So the strangest secret is you become what you think about.
Now, for those of you in the room that maybe have a Christian background, this is also a scriptural principle as well.
Scripturally it says, as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
Now there's a reason it says thinketh in heart, because that's about feeling, which I'm going to explain tomorrow.
how you actually get this thought correct.
There's a way to get your thought lined up
so that it engages and the switch goes on.
If you're over here, here, it's not going to work.
You have to basically get in line.
You have to line up this thought like a gun site.
You want to hit the target?
You have to get the gun site right there, shoot, boom, done.
But if you're not, you're not going to hit the target.
So I'm going to teach you the technique of how to do this thinking process so that you're right in the sweet spot.
When you're in the sweet spot, then it happens.
And then we're going to show you what are the things that block you to get what you want
because there's some specific things that you have to avoid as well, which I'm going to share with you.
The mind is a transmitter and receiver of free.
frequency. Now, by the way, just as a side note, this is what Andrew Carnegie taught Napoleon Hill,
and this is what's in the book, The Law of Success in 16 Lessons. And this is why it was pulled
off the market in 1927, because he describes this in 1927, because it was known in the circles.
Edison knew it, Henry Ford knew it, every billionaire at the time knew it.
that the mind is both a transmitter and receiver of frequency or vibration.
Everything in the universe, let's just deal with the Earth.
Everything on planet Earth vibrates at a frequency.
Science now knows this to be true.
The word that's used many times is oscillation rate.
A rock oscillates at a certain rate.
Quartz oscillates at a different rate.
Remember quartz watches?
How did quartz power a watch?
It oscillates.
Has a vibration.
Transmets a frequency.
You ever have a Geiger counter?
Everything puts out frequency.
Every substance puts out a different frequency.
Everything vibrates at a frequency.
When you think a thought, you are transmitting a frequency.
When someone else thinks a thought, you could pick up that frequency.
So your mind is both the transmitter and a receiver of frequency.
In the book The Secret, which has been out for a couple years now,
in the book The Law of Success in 16 Lessons,
in Earl Nightingale's recording The Strangest Secret,
and in dozens of other writings,
there is a basic law that's called the Law of Attraction.
And the Law of Attraction says,
if you put out or transmit a frequency,
a matching frequency has to be drawn in.
That's what the Law of Attraction says.
And that is the basic foundation
for which things are manifested into your life.
life. So frequency is what you emanate or what you transmit and also what you receive. So the mind,
not the brain, but the mind actually transmit this frequency. And what we're going to learn this
weekend is how to transmit the frequency to get it to come to you as fast as possible.
Here are the two problems. The problem is most people say
I want a new Cadillac, but they're putting out a frequency that says,
keep me with the crappy car I have right now.
So you think you're putting out the frequency of I want the new Cadillac,
but you're not.
You're putting out, keep me with the crappy car I have right now and make it break down again.
So I'm going to show you how you can know instantly how to make sure
that you're transmitting the right frequency.
Now, if you happen to like a particular movie, radio station,
103.4, you're listening to 103.4.
That's where your favorite music is.
Well, if you dial to 95.2,
are you going to be hearing what's on 93.4?
103.4, whatever you want to?
No.
You have to have the frequency dialed in to get what you want.
Same thing in life.
And I can tell you right now, it's real simple.
If you don't have in life what you want, what your desires are,
there's only one simple, there's only two reasons why.
Here's the good news, okay?
The good news is there's only two reasons why you don't have what you want right now.
Either A, you're throwing out the wrong frequency,
or if you are throwing out the right frequency,
you're doing something to block it from coming in.
That's it.
There's only two things.
Now think about it.
why is it that I'm still reading the Law of Success in 16 lessons
and I still traveled around with it? I read it. I'm reading it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.
You have to hear it over and over and new units of time. You have the ability to direct your own thoughts.
You have the option of observing things as they are
or imagining them as you want them to be.
That's your choice.
Whichever option you choose.
Whether you are imagining things as you want them to be
or observing things as they are right now,
it is equally powerful.
You have the option of remembering something
as it actually occurred or imagining it as you would have preferred.
You have the option of remembering something that pleased you or remembering something that did not please you.
You have the option of anticipating something you want or anticipating something you do not want.
In every case, your thoughts produce a vibration within you that equals the point of attraction,
which means it's going to come into your life.
And then circumstances and events line up to match that vibration that you have put out.
You have the ability to place your attention wherever you decide.
So it is possible to distract yourself from something unwanted
and virtually instantly put your attention upon something you do want.
And when a vibration within you is one, you have practiced a great deal.
When you've practiced doing this a great deal.
The tendency is to continue to offer that vibration
in the way that you have been practicing it,
no matter how much you wish it to be different.
Many of you have practiced negative thinking for such a long time.
It's habit.
You're going to have to deliberately apply this and change that habit.
And believe me, it will happen and happen fast.
It is not difficult to change the pattern of your vibration,
especially when you understand that you can do it a little bit at a time.
Once you have an underlying understanding of how these vibrations work
and how they affect your experience, and most importantly,
what your emotions are telling you about your vibrations,
Now you can make steady, consistent, fast progress toward the achievement of anything you desire.
Now remember this.
When you desire something that you do not believe is possible,
such as that goal that you really don't think you're going to get,
you are not in alignment.
That's really the key.
And you'll know that because you won't feel good.
This guy said, you put this on the board, and he said,
What would you do if money was not an object?
And he went around the room.
There's only a few of us there.
He says, what would you do if money was an object?
And somebody says, I'll pay off my bills.
You know, pay off my credit cards, my student loans.
Number one says, I want to go to Hawaii.
Someone else said, I want to get a Rolex watch.
This is one gal there said, I need a new washer and dryer.
Somebody else said, I want to get a vacation.
home.
Senator else says, I want to put a new roof on the house.
Money's not an object.
I want to get a new house.
Money's not an object.
I want to get a new big house.
He's not an object.
I want to get a mansion.
Now, see what I did there?
Money's not an object.
See, it went from a new roof to wait a minute.
I'll get a new house.
Put it in a big house.
Well, wait, I'm going to get it.
Money is not an object.
I'll get a mansion.
Money's not an object.
All of a sudden, I decide changing.
I want to get a maid.
I'd like to get a cook.
I want to get a country club membership.
I want to buy an island.
Okay, so we started doing this, and, you know, around the Roman office, we started getting fun and so forth and so on.
And then he said, these are our dreams.
And as we started, it started off with washer, dryer, pay off bills.
And as we started doing it, all of a sudden, dreams started coming up, right?
Does that make sense?
You see how that process goes?
That's a very interesting process. We'll describe more about the reasons why the dynamics behind this tomorrow.
But that's what happened the first night back in 1977 for me.
And then he said, these are our dreams.
He goes to the problem is if you have a job, this is your income.
And your income is fixed.
It's the same week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week.
It ain't getting any bigger.
So what we do is we start looking at our dreams and going, everyone's got bills.
What do you mean pay them all off?
Hawaii, you know, they have sharks over there.
We don't want to go there.
Cadillac, you know what the insurance is going to be on that and the gas?
Nothing wrong with my car.
New washer, dryer.
You know, much better to hang the clothes outside.
What are you talking about?
Rolex watch.
You know how heavy that solid platinum Rolex watches with all the diamonds?
You don't want that.
Your arm's going to get hurt.
New roof?
What are you talking about?
It's not going to be raining that much.
this year. We don't need a new roof. New house. We love our house. We're going to, big house. No,
we don't need a mansion. You know, that's going to, no, you don't need that. Country. And you start
justifying. And you start shrinking your dreams. You shrink your dreams to fit into your income.
That makes sense? They start shrinking their dreams and they only think of dreams that'll fit in
their income circle. He says, no, the difference if you want to become successful is you have to
change the way you think. And the way you change it is instead of shrinking your dreams to fit in here,
what do you do? You think, how do I get this circle bigger? So we're focusing on getting this
bigger. Not shrinking our dreams, our focus is on getting this bigger. And this is a dynamic paradigm
shift in the mind where we're changing the vibration or the frequency that you're transmitting.
That's what I'm going to teach you how to do. Now here's the exercise. Grab a clean sheet of paper.
I'm going to give you only 10 minutes to do this. I need a clean sheet of paper. Take out a clean sheet of
paper and what I'm going to do is I'm going to time you I'm only going to give you 10 minutes
on the clean sheet of paper at the top just put the word dreams now what I want to listen to the
instructions first listen to the instructions first and then I'll say go what I want you to do
don't analyze don't think too much just write scribble this is only for you no one's
going to look at this except you what I want you to do is just
think of if money wasn't an object, what would you do be or have? Now, I gave you a couple
examples up on the board, but you may have other ones as well. Learn a foreign language.
Take a year sabbatical. Play with my kids more. Learn how to play the piano. It doesn't have to be
money. You understand? Lose 50 pounds. Whatever. Okay?
become more flexible, increase my cardiovascular rate,
go back to school, get a degree.
Doesn't have to be just things, you understand?
You're writing down, if money wasn't an object,
I'm going to add something else.
If money and time were not an object,
what would you do, be, or have?
And I'm going to add something else.
If money and time were not an object,
and you knew you could not fail,
What would you do be your half?
I'm going to give you 10 minutes.
I just want you to write down a list of things such as what we gave as examples.
