Something he said in a magazine about his auntie, came back to haunting.

And also a bloke in Times Online, Chris Campling did a review of the show. Right. And basically said that Carl Pilkington is a creation of Jervais and Merchant. Well, if only that were the case. He said, um, he started off saying he liked the case, he said he started off sounding like the show, he was excited,
Starting point is 00:01:05 so it was a good show, a lot of the jokes. I'm already questioning his critical faculties. Yeah, exactly. And basically he said that we didn't contribute much or seemingly didn't seem to contribute much and I, and we couldn't sort of like ad lib or anything. We just laughed at, particularly me, laughed at Carl Pilkinton who was coming up with some, you know, quite funny stuff. But then he has a twist on it, he goes, but the thing is, we're the puppet masters, he's a created person. We've created the persona, Carl Pilkington for our own amusement. Right.
