I like the characters, and the drama is really hidden right now. So I'm having a blast. Jess, how are you feeling? I'm feeling great about the show. I really like it. If I ever compare it to the boys, I'm always comparing it to season one of the boys

because that's such a good season, just like this season of GenV. It's very great, very into it. the steaks are getting higher steaks are sizzling the steaks are sizzling like Jomey's Italian sausage

all right everybody listen to the midnight boys everybody quick spoiler warning everything that happened in GenVe so far everything that's happened in the boys so far maybe we talk a bit about the comics I'd rather not but hey we're all going to be here it's going to be a fun time

let's get into it Jess, you've mentioned that season one of the boys is one of your favorite seasons, maybe ever, of the boys. On TV, completely. He's like, well, it was good. I don't know what I'm saying that. That's season of the boys so far.

Gen V, as of yesterday, renewed for season two. Yeah. Great news, obviously. While we don't want to invite direct comparisons to the boys, is this is clearly a show that has a couple of different things on its mind. What do you like about this at the mid-season point so far, and how do you think it's kind of parallel to season one of the boys? Oh, parallel?

I don't know if it is. Maybe that's why I like it so much. I don't know if it's, it just feels different from the boys, but it's still in the boys universe, which is why I always compare it to season one. Because it's like a horrible comparison, horrible comparison I'm about to use. It's like watching The Purge. And then you're watching the first one where you're like,

yeah, I'm not a rich person living in a rich house. That's the boys, right? And then the second one, you're like, oh, these are the poor people that are living during the porch. This is how they're feeling. I'm like, oh, shit, that is me. And this is me watching GenVie. I'm like, oh, yeah, these are young people that aren't celebrities, aren't part of the seven. They're normal people with powers that are horrible.

Seemingly normal-ish people. And so I'm like, oh, yeah, I can relate to these people way more. I understand these stakes. They're just kids. This is horrible, but I'm also like, entertaining. Exactly. And what was your second? What was your first question?

Well, that more or less was my first question. I'll throw it to Jomey when I ask, like, so when I see season one of the boys, it's really good at throwing us into a world where corporate superheroes and image-based, like, IP of heroism and, you know, civic duty is made into this, like, terrible society. And it introduces all of these characters and all of these, like, very crass and, like, brash things in a very interesting world. How do you think Gen V at the mid-season point has been doing and introducing this own world to Jess's point of seemingly like the normal people

or the littler people or the people that are trying to build themselves up in the world of the boys? It's doing a really great job. We talked about in the first pod on the first three episodes, but the characters are really shodding in this show and they continue to do that over the last three episodes, right? And you get to see them very vulnerable, very open,

and you realize that they've gone through just unimaginable stuff, right? And that makes you empathize and you like, you understand, okay, this is why they do what they do. This is why, you know, they are who they are. And it's kind of the same with the boys, right? We find out about, you know, Huey's background and butcher's background and Mother's Milk's background. And that's why we root for them despite the fact that they're all doing crazy, illegal, just terrible things, right? And so it's the same thing with GenVie. the characters bring the show to life

and you find yourself rooting for them, you find yourself loving them. And so you're invested in week to week, like, oh, man, how is Andre going to handle this? Or how is Marie going to handle this? And I think that's the beauty of the show. That's why the show works so well. It's crazy that you're...

I mean, I felt this way also in the Harley Quinn series where I'm like, I'm rooting for everyone on the team. I'm rooting for everybody in GenVie on... Except, you know, the main, the core. Right. The core ones. Are you mean you're not mooted from Maverick? never

never in my life he's on his own journey for sure yeah uh he can go to prison uh dirty two j that's where he goes that's the journey to prison exactly we also talked about how he just doesn't wear clothes like he can right

he's invisible he's naked all the time the only reason that you know that he's there is because he has a baseball cap and glasses yeah so he can just you know put on also a shirt I think it well I think that's more of a novelty for him to know that like hey this is my courtesy to you to know that I'm here.

Do you know what makes me the most uncomfortable? Being naked with a hat on and glasses. I can't say that I've ever been naked with a hat on and glasses. So you put it on? You just put it on like a hat and glasses. And that's how you know that I'm here for no other reason. Man. Literally I'm like, where's Steve at?

He's got a hat on now. Okay, there we go. Damn. People notice you, Steve. We notice you all the time. Thank you. I'm fairly noticeable. Oh.

In that I'm a person. That you exist. Yes. That I have a corporeal form. Well, we talk about the strengths of this show. What do you think is probably the biggest thing that came out of these last three episodes? Episodes four, five, and six. Oof.

Lots of things unfolding in the past few episodes. Kate's number one, right? What? Kate would be number one. Yeah. Yeah. I mean... You said you...

No, you said you caught the cheating. I knew it. I knew it. I didn't. Did you? I scint it. coming from a model. The thing was, like, the Rufus thing,

you know, Rufus also like a terrible character. But at the same time, when I'm watching, I'm like, she has this power, you know, and the fact that, like, nobody even, like, thought to consider her. Because remember, in the other, in most of the episodes before, and she's like, hey, guys,

maybe we don't do this, you know? She's very much, like, trying to lead them on the right way in, like, episode four when Cricket goes missing. And they're like, yo, Andre, you said, you might have. sent emma to her death, Kate was like the first one to be like, hey man,

you know what I'm saying? Why would you do that? You don't know what's down there. He's very much like protective, you know? And so when they're like going around like, is it Rufus? I'm thinking like, first of all,

Rufus has to work like very close to him. And like they went on, they've been gone for days, right? Like they said like, oh, it's not Friday, Saturday or whatever. I'm like, it seems like it's easy for Kate

to, you know, get in condo with them. You know, like I was just, just like interesting. Like I've kind of feel like, why is no one asking Kate where she was?

I mean? And then when she goes, and then Marie goes to Kate and she's like, look, I found this thing in my shoulder and she's not like super freaking out and then she's like,

she's taking her glove off. It's like, ah, Gen V, I'm familiar with your game. You can't fool me. And I think what I'll piggyback on that is to say that like, I think the mystery is actually

an incredibly strong point of this. Oh, yeah. The unfolding nature of, the woods and these seemingly like cover up between like the rufus plot line into the kate plotline into like wiping people's memories like when i first i did when we first saw episode four did did you think that like there was a problem with your video on amazon where like the episode just like cuts off and then they're like waking up after a party we'll protect and then it's a completely different episode yeah i thought i thought my i thought my thing glist but i thought like

hey man is my internet good bro like what's just yeah Like there was a problem with the end. And then like episode five starts and you're like, wait a minute, wait a minute. Did we just miss a whole episode? Yeah. And then like, oh, like there's a very good way that the episodes are structured to where they're like, okay, a memory wiping plot while also seemingly like a cheat code in order for characters to get on the same page very quickly.

Also is this crazy, cool way to play with the audience to think that like, oh, wait, we missed what was about to happen. Now we've got to figure this out with everybody. I think this was a great three episode, uh, one, two, three punch for like some really interesting plot developments here.

And I think that the mystery at play here is kind of like, I might say better than some of the things that the boys have brought us. Because like it's, it's very interpersonal. It's very tied in with every character that we're seeing. And nobody's at each other's throats all of the time to actually start figuring things out. I think I, that's what I really stuck with.

I think we'll have to see how, it ends. Because remember, like, season three of the boys is really good, but then like nothing happens at the end. And like, you know, Homelanders starts powers and Soldier Boy gets, you know, taken away. And the only thing really happens is Queen Mabels are powers, but we're not like really worried about that.

So like, the status quo stays the same. And like, at the end of season one, it's really good because we found out, holy crap, not only is Beck out alive, she has a son and the son is Homelanders spawn. And like, that was insane at the time, right? Right. And so I think we'll have to see whether it measured up to the boys in the ending.

But in terms of like the mystery, it's awesome. It's great. And I love that all the characters, despite all their issues, despite like, you know, Kate's betrayal, they're still working together to solve it. You know, like you have, you know, Sam and Emma on the one side, and you have Jordan, Marie, Kate and Andre on that thing, and they all have to, like, coalesce.

And I was talking about in the first pod, will they come together? Will they, you know, be doing this thing by themselves? I was hoping to see them come together. And the fact that through episode four, five, and six, they're, you know, so once like, quote unquote, working together and trying to figure this out piece it together. It's great.

You're fighting for... Guy Tech Knight? Whoa. He's fighting for Tech Night, dude. Fighting for Tech Night, dude. But he's not cool at all. He's not cool at all! He's not cool at all!

He's not cool at all, baby. He's a good detective. He's a good detective. He's like Sean Spencer on crack, dog. I know, but like it's funny. I like the idea that there's this like Uber detective that can figure out everything. And like if he had even a half of an episode's worth of time more, he'd figure out this entire show. Well, that's the shitty thing.

He's still working for bot. He's working with bot, right? Well, you know, terrible blackmail shit that honestly, not the worst sexual proclivity. we've seen in this show. I don't know, man. By no means. It's not the worst, but like,

you can't be banging donuts, brother. Like, that's just, that's just, listen, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna, I'm not,

you're completely correct. You're 100% correct. But like, at the same time, like, you know what I'm saying? If I go to like, you know,

you go somewhere and see some bagels, you're like, hey man, ate a bagel, but then like, you look up the footage and Tech Knight was in there with the bagels.

Now you gotta, you gotta rethink your whole light. I'm not gonna exactly say It's a victimless crime, but like a bagel in a tree. Like, that's not exactly, I don't know. It's not the worst thing you could put your dick in. If it came out on TMZ that like the Tech Knight, the fucks a bagel, I'd be like, well, I didn't get that bagel. But he was like at the table.

You know what? It's cool. That's fine. It's fine. It's not my table. It's not my table. Not my circus. You know what I'm saying?

I'm joking. I'm joking. Even the introduction of Tech Knight, it's the fact that like he pushes everybody forward so much in the fact that he has all these interviews with them he like pretty much takes out all of the main players to be like all right like I already know about the woods we're already figuring out that why Golden Boy couldn't handle

everything that was being brought to him I need a good reason to know why we can't just blow this whole thing up and to know that like and it puts forward the stakes of knowing that like okay clearly Vought and the school are both invested in whatever's going on in the woods

to know that they need to cover it up that well. Well, what was, what, can you remind me why he wanted the story to blow, but they're both under the same Vought umbrella? Yeah. So what would have done for him to release all that information on the school that also is under Vought? Clout, you know, like solving that story. But then he would have got fired, right? Vaugh would have been like, we're getting rid of him because he's unveiling secrets in our own institution. Well, no, he knows what happened to Goldenboy. Vought told him, he got that straight from Ashley, right? basically, like, he goes there and he's like, yeah, he went crazy, he killed Brink.

Like, I know what happened, but there's a story here. And I'm going to pin it on somebody that's innocent and, like, just clean this up for you guys. But I'm just letting you know, I know what is happening. Exactly. And she says, don't go up to the top five. And he went off the top five anyway. But it was like, none of that's boring. None of that pops.

But you are a great, Patsy. You have no powers. It's super easy. And then Chetty's like, Hold on, player. Can't get me, boom, all that footage and, you know, that's that. I think I just respect him

because he wants to always find it in the edit. That was funny. As a producer, I was like, yeah, we always find it in the edit. That's the realest thing I ever seen on the boy in the boys universe was like, ah, we'll find it in the edit. That's real.

That's real. That's real. It's like, it's okay, we got it. We'll figure it out. It did seem like his appearance in the episode was like very unnecessary, but I liked it. I mean, I like the idea

of having the spy come in and read people immediately, be like you guys think you're sneaky but you're not. It's really easy to capture that because at the end of the episode it's just like here's all this shit I'm going to let out and then he just disappears. Right. And he just goes. So I'm like this entire episode he showed up

like deduced everything just. And that's kind of like if I were to push back a little bit on I think the aesthetic of the boys that both like the original show and this carries over occasionally it's part of its charm but otherwise

to know that like this character was just hung up and basically silenced over some silly sexual blackmail thing played for laughs I'm like okay I feel like we can probably do that better like if you

like bring up his cancer diagnosis and all of these things I'm like Are you caping for tech night right now? I'm not caping for tech night I think it's more of the fact that like the way in which he was disposed in the plot could have been a bit more complex rather than just being like I you put

your dick and doughnuts. But I think that's maybe why he could come back and be like, I don't care. And then just like, or if it got out regardless and then it's just like, oh, then I have nothing to lose now. And he goes, beep, and he comes out. Take the power back.

There's no mystery for Tech Night, right? The thing, he knows everything that's going on except for like maybe the woods. Only people know who's going in the woods are shedding in the doctor, right? Like explicitly, everybody has an idea what's supposed to happen in the woods. but clearly they're working on something very different.

I don't think Tech Knight is needed because, yeah, he knows all the dealings. He knows everything that's going on. I think his role in that episode is to kind of like open up the things for the kids. For Andre, hey, you're banging a golden boy's boyfriend, a girlfriend. What's up with that? And then for Marie to be like, hey, you weren't, you're not the hero, everybody thinks you are. It's Jordan, right? It's a moment for Marie and Jordan to come together.

I don't really think, like, if Checking Eye comes back, what is he solving? When he was interrogating Marie and he's like, your powers are nasty. I was like, oh, this is good. Everyone, every, like, two things. First off, it makes me upset, but it is also like, yeah, I guess you're literally, blood is literally grabbing people. It's kind of gross. And that's, like, the first insult everyone slings at Marie is always like, that's filthy blood.

And I'm like, okay, we get it. We get it. But also, do you think maybe, like, what Tech Knight is to Gen V is what Starlight was to the boys and how she released, like, she was the reason, like, everyone started figuring out that it was babies that were getting administered? Well, I think it was, like, she had a lot more going on that, like, not so much dragged that plot out, but, like, actually to, like, let it along. Tech Knight's a bit of, like, a mystery cheat code where, like, if he, again, if he had, like, a half hour more in this show, he'd figure out everything. and solve the entire thing. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. There's nothing, but there's nothing for him to figure out

what he really wanted. Now, if he, like, showed up in the boys next season and had, like, a role there because there's something else going on, and, yeah, I could see that. But, like, for this show's purpose, it doesn't really need to be there because he knows everything that's going on, you know, except for, like, the woods of virus situation. I guess him erring it out, because I'm always constantly questioning,

the stakes are very high, but it's always like, okay, at the end of the day, it's still owned by Vod. So you guys can do everything you can. You guys can fight tooth and nailville. It's like at the end of the day, it's still Vought. So who are you really fighting? Because they're going to win at the end. And unless maybe Tech Knight is one of those players that swoops in and releases all the information and then passes away slowly.

That's all. I'm just imagining what they would do as a writing tactic because he does die in the comics. Very true. Well, what I'm also curious about is the show's use. of fantasy and editing tricks in its own kind of canon and story. In regards to Sam and his hallucinations with puppets and the sort of like clever fight scene that we get

that's all animated with puppets rather than actually blowing the budget on a big fight scene. How does that work for you? Does it take you out of it too much? Is it a bit too silly? Is it a bit much? Again, I'm pretty warm on this show, but sometimes the show and the universe of the boys does things that kind of pull me out of it, just for the sake of being, like, edgy. I still think it's the boys. And so it's like, and this is their bread and butter.

So it's like putting in those puppets was like, yeah, this is the boys. And the thing is, it took the boys a little bit to figure out they could be as wacky, wacky as that. The first season, they weren't that wacky. It was like, right at the second season, they were like, oh, we can do whatever we want. Let's be silly. Let's be silly. And it's running a fine line because his hallucinations usually are based on his own personal thoughts. And they're very intrusive.

They're very like things that he wants to suppress and put away. And then when he lashes out, I can't really suspend my disbelief that much to be like, all right, well, clearly they're just saving some money to blow the budget on another fight scene later. Remember how Black Noir saw the cartoons? Because it just, well, his was like repressed because once he got brain damage, it went back. So maybe from Sam's younger age, because he's had schizophrenia for a very long time. They said, like, at the beginning, it runs in their family. So it's like, Sam, even, oh, that was a sad scene where he was like, you would have been, you would have had these problems with or without the powers when he was talking to his brother.

So maybe it is something that's, like, embedded in his head of, like, my earliest memory is watching these and these puppets. And now I manifest them into, like, or, like, I cross it into, like, reality. see you when I lash out. Wait, so you didn't love the puppet scene, Steve? Not entirely, no. That's the worst take you've ever had. It was fantastic. The puppet fight scene.

The puppet scene. Horrible take. Was awesome. I liked it a lot. I think it's very much. I thought it was clever. I thought it was clever enough. It's clever because you see how Sam sees this, right?

And the devastation and the murder and all the, like, the literal bodies he's leaving. trails. Bro is, it's like a puppet. Like, you know what I'm saying? You go home, you tear a pillow, you know, you tear your teddy bear. Saturday in the world. Imagine like now, like, you're just doing that. That's like, it's not bad.

Turning a sock puppet inside out. Right. And then it gave, like, you see all the, like, the glitter and, like, the people are yelling, oh, no, I've got two kids. And the puppet, like, you know, just turns in half. And you're like, man, ha ha, it's funny. And then it turns back to real life. And you see that guy, like, literally,

hanging from a rope and his entrails coming out. And like, oh, no, he just, he just murdered all those dudes. Yeah, like, it's gross and grimy. And they're like, the way to like, you know, save a little bread, you know, and not be like as gory as, like, the show could be. But at the same time, we're seeing it from Sam's point of view and the reason why he feels like he's so messed up. Also, you don't like television's Jason Ritter?

Because I love television Jason Ritter. I like that and I like the points of the show I don't like it Oh you don't know I love the puppets I remember being like they could have They're the boys They could have pulled anybody

And I love him I love him I love him Respect television I love his father more than anything in this world I love his wife more than anything in this world But I was also like you know what have been Really weird or crazy

I mean not This is the first person that came to my mind Not a great example but Cindy Lopper. Like, you're the boys. What? Get something like massive that's ridiculous. Oh my God.

He was he was like, I don't even like Kate. He was like that's not going to do with me. That's see was so funny because there. Again, like, Soldier Boy is like, you know, what she thought of him as, like, as a child. And then going into like realizing, like, oh, what happened to her losing, you know,

her brother because of her powers? And then having her mom be afraid of her. Like, that's like the kind of stuff that has to mess you up. Like it just has to. You know, it's insane is that, and maybe we just didn't see it. She didn't go directly to the Red River Institute.

Her mom kept her and then someone came and took her away. Right. In a very compassionate scene that, like, would have gotten the best of it. It was the same thing that Jean-Carla Esposito, he did with his daughter. It was like, I love you. You are my sweetness. We're also both evil. You are my sweetness.

You are my sweetness and we are evil. But I was like, that's where I was like, oh, the people have fought when they take over a life of a child that's a super, They're like very sweet. It's abusive, clearly. It's like, they're like, we're going to, no, you're going to love it here. We're going to use your powers for good. Which is interesting because Shetty mentions that, so the doctor of Cardoza is like, hey, Marie, she's got that crazy blood.

Everybody who could possibly play Talia al-Goole is in the show.

The last thing I would do is step in any fight with Sam. I guess he didn't know that. He didn't know yet that this man has been punching holes through like Millennium Doors. He folded him, though, in that house.

God damn. And then once he got a hold of Kate, I was like, no, she's like a twig to him. Like, stop, stop. It was, that was insane. That fight was wild as hell. Yeah, he's got like the same, like similar powers, magnetism, manipulation. I just, I just need my direct X-Men comps for all these kids too quickly because like every time I kind of forget what their powers are until they're exactly on display. Yeah.

for some of these. Like, obviously, we, like, we have, like, some, you know, twists on the classics, but a couple of times I'm just like, oh, wait, yeah, they do that now. My whole thing is I always forget that they, like, most of them, if not all of them, just also have super strength.

Yeah, that's just a generic, it's just like, yeah, we all have it. And I'm like, but what if you're that superpowered person that's just strong? Because I'm like... Tough, tough. That's why you're not in the top 100. That's why there's no just, like, strong people on the 7, right?

That's technically Sam, right? Sam is just strong. Kind of. He's also insane. That's not a power. That's not a power, but it helps. I'm going to guess that there's more going on there. You think he has laser eyes?

Maybe. I think he's just strong. He might be one of those Uber mentions that he has yet to unlock all of his potential. Maybe. He could be like Jack Jack in the Incredibles. Like he could do it all. I think, I mean, part of, I think, and that scene where Brink is trying to, like, transfer some of his strength to Golden Boy or something like that,

maybe he's just, like, one of the strongest characters in that. in that universe, right? As far as we know. And he's like, he's wasting his powers being strong, how you're being like kind of crazy. Why don't we, you know, try and get some to so old golden boy so we can like push him up, you know?

I thought that was interesting thing. Like, again, looking at Kate and her role and the whole woods thing. Like, she was very instrumental in being like, hey, buddy, forget that we're trying to, you know, your brother's dead and forget that we're trying to like boost you, you know? It's a, but I think that's part of like,

Sam's got to be, like, crazy strong, like, levels we haven't seen. Well, that's something that I actually want to, like, piggyback off of and see where we're going in these next three episodes. Two? Two? Two, excuse me, two episodes. I know. Vaught wants to, well, the people in the woods want to look to control all these kids and make them either as sick as possible or nerf them as possible so that they could either harness their powers, control them. Where do we think these last few episodes are going to go as far as this woods?

plot line? Are they trying to like, are they like, are they going to pull a secret invasion and make a super scroll out of this? No, I think they're going to... Don't even, don't even get a joke like that. I think they're going to make that serum that takes away people's powers and then that will be going into the next season. Take away people's powers. Yeah, because he was like,

didn't they talk about in there that like, didn't they end the episode with her saying like, now get rid of the power? Like how to see how sick we should, we can make her. We're not submitting the report yet. Wait, no, I mean, that's what the episode started, right? She was coughing and her powers didn't work. And she was like, up the doses. Let's see what happens.

Then the episode ends and Cardosa is like freaking out. And we see her dead on the floor with like boils all over. And he's like, I just up did five mil. Like what the hell? This was supposed to happen. I thought she'd get like a fever. If that. And Shady is like, this is the best day of my life.

How can we make it contagious? Yeah. And I'm like. I took it as they want to like literally. Kill all suits. Yeah. They want to. Not even kill if they, or maybe she does want to kill them.

But I was taking it as like, what is that thing in Marvel? I think it is an X-Men how they got the X-Gene and like this. Yeah, yeah, I know what you don't know. I think they want to expel that and then a bunch of people lose their powers. Right. And I think they're trying to reverse. They're trying to reverse take away people's powers. I don't think they're going to.

I think like her and butcher got like a deal going on. I'm sorry. Well, no, that's kind of what it is. Like you. So she's actually a good person? Well, a good person as we define it. She's a good person. If this was the boys, right?

If she was working for the boys, you'd be like, hey, she's part of the team. But now that she's working, like, we're with the kids at God you, which, by the way, crazy name, God you, it's like, hey, this university we become a God. You know what I'm saying? We put you on that kind of high status. Think about it. Keep your throat eye open. So God in elementary school has got him.

But at the same time, it's interesting, though, how, like, our views are flipped depending on, like, who we're spending time with. At the same time, it's very interesting how she's doing.

Because, again, she's, like, the dean at God you. She's supposed to be working with all these superpowers. But she's used, like, we don't know exactly what the woods is for, but she's using it as her own testing rounds to get rid of all soups, which is not what the woods is for. I don't think so. No, it's about, it's about, like, either harnessing, controlling, nerfing, manipulating powers. But there's more than one person working in the woods. Like every time that guy does surgery, there's other nurses there.

Exactly. So that's why I'm like... If she's running it and she wants to make them as sick as possible, and she's elated by the idea. No, she just... Again, not as sick as possible. Murder. So Vot knows of the woods.

They just don't know that she's trying to kill people in the woods. Kill suits. So what do you think she's telling Ashley she's doing in the woods? I mean, right, hey man, yeah, we are just like, We're working on it. Yeah, you know. We're not working on some children. Yeah, this one kid we had to dissect.

Yeah, he had like metal legs for powers. It's the fact that she's stalling. It's the fact that she's delaying that report. She's delaying her results to Vot, that she clearly has her own agenda. And if we take it to the nth degree, like it seems like she wants to kill Suz. She absolutely does. And if she aligns herself with the likes of Butcher, maybe not like, you know, like her, like she has a team up. But like, if she's thinking like Butcher is, that's a crazy term.

But here's the thing, though, like, we know Billy Butcher very well. Right. He got his hands on that. Yeah, that's going in the water supply. Yeah, he's like, everybody's taking it now. You know what I'm saying? He's just, she's spraying that. Like, he's going to the Seven Tower and he's shoving it in Homelander's nose.

Right. Right. Like, immediately, you know what I mean? Like, so we know what he's going to do with that. I'm interested to see what she would do, what Shetty's going to do with it. I imagine it's kind of like the blackmail scene we saw with Tech Night. it's a bargaining chip. He's like, hey, soups, I'm done,

I can't do this no more, I'm out. If y'all mess with me, if y'all come at me, I will release this into the world and it will kill every single person that has come in contact with Compound V ever. So leave me alone. That's my thought process,

So I'm interested to see how far she's willing to take that. And I think that's kind of the interesting ethos of the world of the boys to where what terrible things are you willing to do to get rid of the thing that you think is

the most evil or the worst part of people in general. Because that's what butcher is, that's what the idea that we're flirting with now is with Gen V to the expense of killing kids in college. Like, it's terrible. You got to crack a few eggs. I got to crack a few legs. No. Hey.

I'm not the one run in the woods. It's so interesting because it's like what happened her that made her hate soup so bad. Because it has to be something. Because that's the shitty thing. Because we also remember at the very beginning, that one kid that gets taken to that place beyond the Red River Institute, where the kids that are like just 18 but still didn't get picked up, they go somewhere else. She's probably like, I know what that place is. It's fucking horrible. You know how easy these kids would be adopted if they just didn't have the powers? Yeah. So it could be like, she's not trying to kill them still. She's just trying to get rid of their powers. Or maybe she also has horrible powers and she's trying to get rid of them first.

I think she's human, no, she's human, though. I'm going to guess that she's at least a little bit evil and wants to kill people. I mean, I think everybody in the boys is a little bit evil

and has killed someone. Or a little too, a lot of it evil. Man, imagine, like, imagine like one of the, like somebody in a boys, like try to give you problems or something.

He's the worst character. But every time Chase Coffert, I don't know what it is about Chase Crawford. Chase Coffert is hilarious. Well, his character is actually, like, funny. His character is a funny character. It's a funny character. Your character is weird. So I don't like the Deep.

I love Chase Coffert. But yeah. I love Chase Coffert. I don't know. Like, every time he shows up on screen, like, he's going to do something stupid. Like, he's like the scene in the boys with the dolphin. That seems really funny. hilarious.

Just out hilarious. Again, I don't like the character, but every time I see Chase Crawford on screen, I'm like, something funny is about to happen. You know what I mean? So I don't like the deep as a human being. I think he's a terrible, gross, disgusting. But the way Chase Crawford plays him is like, oh, he's going to do something really funny that's like definitely going to liven up the episode

and make me laugh my ass off, you know? So, like, I don't like the deep. I'm not like a tech, I'm not a technine stand or like a deep stand. But the way Chase Crawford plays him, I'm like, man. Something really dumb and stupid, hilarious is going to happen. For our show, we should all dress up as our favorite members of the boys, so you would be the deep. I'm not putting gills on me. I'm not putting gills.

So 19-piece suit? No, I'm not going to wear 19-piece suit? Dude, it's going to be hot up there. And look at people sweat and then be like, you're lying. You're lying. Your powers are nasty. All these characters are, like, somewhat awful. So, like, having a favorite boys.

My favorite character is made, and she's a great person. She's good. Well, okay, well, okay, way to be cool. Wow. That's the airplane where she wanted to save people. But could it? My favorite lie from Maeve, get you in your fucking twink out of here. That's fine.

I think the one character, like, well, two characters. You can't like Stormfront for obvious reasons. Of course. You can't do Homelander either. Nope. I think everybody else is like, like, you know, again, like, there are levels to it. I don't think like anybody's going to go around a champion Billy Butcher as like a human rights guy or like, you know what I mean? A-Train, right?

but like, you know. I did fight for Black Noir. Black, yeah, that season of his, I was like, oh, no. So what would be nice to him? He was supposed to be in, what was it, the Eddie Murphy movie? Yeah. With Nick Dulte, right? Yeah, what was the movie?

24 hours? No, it was, I thought it was Beverly Hills Cop. Wasn't it? Oh, Beverly Hills. He was like, I auditioned for that. I was supposed to get that role. You know what I mean? Like, for most part, you know, everybody's like not great, but like, if you're like,

hey, man, you know who I've read the thing's cool? Homelander. I'm putting going on this, buddy. I'm like, ooh. Someone with the new Omneman and Homelander characters that you can play as in the video game. My friend was, yeah, Moro Kombat. Yeah, Moro Kombat. My friend was like, yeah, man, Homelander's way cooler than Omni Man. I was like,
