Now more than ever, America needs a laugh,
and I can't think of anything
better than Super Troopers 3.
Enter the Super Troopers to the rescue.
Vermont's finest and most shockingly
offensive moustachioed highway patrol officers, return to the big screen in Super Troopers
3, with more pullover pranks and more over-the-top shenanigans than ever. In this latest installment
of the cult comedy classic Rod Farva's wildly over-the-top Indian engagement to Thorny's
sister spirals out of control. A debauchous bachelor party, a wedding that Thorny is desperate to stop,
and a dangerous drug smuggling ring all threaten the troops, friendship, and future. And speaking of
friendships. I can't think of a better excuse to go to the movies with my friends for some R-rated
comedy laughs. You don't get to see R-rated comedies that often anymore. And the idea of getting
the band back together for Super Troopers 3 is exactly what I think we're looking for. Fill your
leader of cola, grab your buds, and roll up to the multiplex for Super Troopers 3. Only in theaters
this Friday, August 7th. Get tickets, meow. Okay, so files on socials at the Midnight

Joe me.
Fellas, man, can you believe?
It's been a week since Comic-Con, man.
It doesn't feel like it.
It doesn't feel like it.
It feels like we were just there.
It feels like we were just there.
I've hit the wall.
I'm not going to lie.
It's tough.
I'm not going to jail.
I was like,
like, honestly, I got hit with the fatigue.
Like when we were doing the Spider-Man pot,
I was like, oh my God, I just feel it all now.
You know what's funny about this?
Is somebody listening to this in their ears right now at work breaking rocks?
Yeah, yeah.
And if I'm just like, shut up.
It's somebody like listening to this while they like, you know, like lifting fucking shit and putting it in there.
Working in quarries.
You know what I like, I like jobs.
Shout out to jobs, man.
I like jobs.
You like jobs?
Shut out jobs, man.
The American job.
Shout out of jobs out there.
I like jobs where you wrap something up, check it, and then send it down the line.
I don't know why I like that.
I'm sorry to get to some.
I like jobs where you go.
The factory?
Like those Amazon boxers?
Shout out to them because they need to be treated better.
Where you look at something and you go, hmm, and then somebody else checks it.
And like, I like a job where you look something over and you go, that's good to go.
Oh, like the QC at the factory.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I like the Instagram videos when they did, like is the one dude that's like,
pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop on the line.
Everybody's like, oh, look at him going crazy.
Oh, right.
And like, he's the only one who can do that job.
He's doing it for 30 years.
Yeah, yeah.
They can't replace them.
I also like jobs where you sift through things and you throw out the bad ones.
Like I saw this one time as a chocolate bar factory where sometimes the chocolate bars come out and they're misshaped.
And then somebody's got to throw out the bad chocolate bar or put it back in that thing.
I always wonder if, you know, if your chocolate bar is misshaped but you like it, you keep a little chocolate.
I love this.
This is like the ugly produce.
If you're working at the Hershey factory day and day out, you don't want.
Like, I used to think that way when I was working in fast food, I'm like, I get all the fries.
I want you, like a week, and you're like, damn.
I want no more fries.
I can't look at this shit, bro.
People used to come into my man, Ryan worked at the McDonald's.
And so it's very funny when Ryan worked at McDonald's.
Because Ryan worked at McDonald's.
Like, they make you, so before you work at McDonald's, you have to go to McDonald's school.
Y'all know that, right?
Yeah.
So before you work at McDonald's, or at least it used to be this way, before you work
in McDonald's, you have to go to McDonald's class.
There was a place in Baton Rouge.
I remember I dropped my sister off there.
There was a place in Baton Rouge where you would go and you would take McDonald's courses
before you worked at the McDonald's.
They teach you about the law of McDonald's.
You have to learn, like, Ron McDonald's birthday and, like,
like, Ronald McDonald's started varsity in, like, 1969 playing baseball.
You have to learn all of these different things about Ronald McDonald's,
but you'd have to go to McDonald's school.
It's, like, three days before they send you to McDonald's.
My man went to McDonald's, and after McDonald's school, he was like,
my name and Ryan was like, I don't know.
bro. It was like what? He was like,
they really care about McDonald's
man. I don't know how to do. Yeah.
You know what I'm saying? They're talking about
McDonald's quality control.
Like, they're talking about, there was a
class about like when McDonald's changed the way
they fried to fries and all of this stuff. They're
talking to all of this stuff. So some of it's
cleanliness and all of that stuff that you need to learn.
But like, he was like, man, I thought I was going to go
flip some burgers, make some bread.
We can go buy some video games. I don't know about this.
So anyway, he first had
skepticism then. Then, when, when
first started working at McDonald's, they wanted to test his allegiance to McDonald's.
So they-
So they scheduled him Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, like a whole weekend.
Okay.
And I remember, I told him, I was like, well, we're going to see Independence Day, niggins.
And if you at McDonald's, that's on you.
We're not waiting for you to go see, we're going to see Independence Day.
If you're working at McDonald's, when Independence Day come out, that's on you, nigga.
Get the fries.
and we're going to see Will Smith.
And I remember he just looked at the guy.
He goes, for the third, he goes, I'm not working.
And that guy goes, you're on the schedule.
You're going to work.
He goes, I'm not working.
I'm not coming in the whole weekend.
So you need to find somebody else.
And so he doesn't work.
And I'm like, he's going to see Independence Day with us, right?
And I'm like, bro, they're going to fucking fire you.
Yeah.
Like, you can't do that at no job.
No job is going to put you on the sky.
schedule. At a fast food chain?
At a fast food chain. Like you, like, you can't
do that. And he's like, they're not going to fire me.
He's like, nah, bro, they're not going to fire me. They found somebody else to cover it.
I'm going back in there Monday. I'm like, are you on the schedule
Monday? He's like, I'm normally on the schedule Monday. So I'm just going there
like regular. That's insane.
So he goes in there. Oh, my God.
He goes in there. And the dude is there. And he
walks. He said, I walked in.
And the first thing I noticed was that my name was like crossed off the
They didn't call them.
They wanted him to come in and get fired from McDonald's in person.
This is the McDonald's at the corner of Burbank and Lee.
Oh, hell, though.
In Baton Rouge, right?
Like, they wanted him to come in and see that he was fired.
Hilarious.
So he goes in, and he sees his name cross off on the schedule, and the guy goes,
well, you said you wouldn't work the weekend, so unfortunately this is what we had to do.
Now, it was a standoff because that guy wanted Ryan to ask.
for his job back.
But Ryan was too proud.
So if he would have asked for his job back,
then he would have gotten it.
He probably would have gotten it.
Okay.
But Ryan was too proud to ask for his job back.
So he was fired.
I thought this was a guy.
I was like, yeah, don't fucking, like,
beg these motherfucking clowns and McDonald's for your job back.
Yeah, you're better than that.
But my man Chris was pissed.
Right?
Yep.
I understand.
No more McNuggets.
Right.
Well, you got the plus the plug.
We were clod with the McNuggets.
But to bring the story full circle.
But y'all wasn't real friends where you're like, if he's the McNuggets plug, we go see Independence Day without you.
But we'll roll back on your day off.
This is too valuable.
I mean, this is my very best friend in the world, like since first grade.
I just let him know if you think I'm about to miss out on the opening weekend or Independence Day because you got a schedule on the Friday, Saturday.
I can't do it.
You got to make some sacrifice.
He's going to get y' all up on the time.
Fear pressure, though.
Nah, and that, just to bring it back.
So, Chris was pissed off that we got no more McNuggets.
This is what we was really, we was going crazy on the McNuggets.
We're going there, we get the 20 piece of McNuggets.
Ryan put 40 fucking McNuggets in the thing.
Like, we're going nuts on the Big Nuggets.
He was lucky on.
He was lucky on.
You could go to all of the Independence Day screening.
Sometimes he, we go get fries, and he wouldn't even put the fries in the car.
And he just take a bag, double bag that bitch and just fill the bag with fries.
Jesus.
We riding around Baton Rouge
with fries,
crazy in the fucking car
in the fucking air condition.
Sweeting bag full of fries
and the fucking,
just crazy.
And Ryan goes,
he goes,
bro,
you understand that
I'm never going to eat
another McNugget again
in my entire life, right?
He was like,
in three months
of working at McDonald's
because he was only
every day of three months.
Right?
In three months,
I've had all the McDonald's
I'm ever going to need
forever.
And since that time,
Ryan Daven,
has not eating for McDonald's.
Wow.
It only took three months of working there and almost missing Independence Day, actually missing
Independence Day, right.
For him to never, ever, ever like to fuck with McDonald's ever again.
He doesn't eat there anymore.
Wow.
So, like, to me, I always thought, like, y'all thought, like, nigga, I'm going to wake up,
have a Big Mac for breakfast.
Right.
Or for lunch, I mean, there's a certain youth that can do that.
Yeah.
But it took three months for him that never.
It took one summer at Applebee's, never again.
That two for 20?
Applebee's!
You don't want to eat it.
Applebee's delicious.
Niggy, I saw it.
They got prisoners.
Two for 20, niggins.
Diggins.
No, no, I saw two for 20s in a sentence.
That's what it is.
What?
Prisoners is crazy, come on, man.
Prisoners is crazy.
Come on, man.
Chili's all of these places.
No, you never go get me off Chili's, man.
We're supposed to go to Chili's a long time ago.
First time you see that bring out, you're like, oh, I'll order a soup.
You see a brick, a frozen soup.
They just pop that bitch in the microwave and like, do-to-do.
Pop the fucking steak in the microwave?
I'm like, oh, no.
Well, the steak in the microwave, that's tough.
The steak goes in the microwave?
I've seen some meats go and then they just do a nice sear.
That's not what you want, man.
That's not what you want.
That's not what you want.
That's not what you want for a stuff.
but, you know, dollaritas,
they bring out the big plastic tub.
I see that on TikTok.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let's tell you what,
TikTok has been exposing a lot.
The margaritas are a dollar.
I know what you expected.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, it's going to be made it a buck.
Yeah, it's going to get down.
Speaking of having fun,
we have fun at Comic Con,
we didn't really talk about it.
So before we get into House of the Dragon,
we haven't even got to program reminders
before I told a long-winded story about my youth.
The Midnight Boys are back.
Before we get into House of the Dragon,
we should talk about the fact
that we had a lot of fun at Comic Con.
Now, we were bonding.
We were bonding.
It was fraught with the Marvel Hall-Age panel.
Yes, it was.
So I'll tell you guys something right now.
I spoke to Joe about this, my sister, Joe.
What happened, I'm making a plan right now.
What happened at Hall-Age this year, I will never do again.
Okay.
I'm never doing it again.
If moving forward, if one person gets in Hall-Age, that's good enough for me.
All right.
I'm not doing it.
For us to get in to Hall H for Comic-Con this year,
we didn't have passes.
And it's not, nobody to blame.
Like, the nigger from Happy, Sad, Confused
had to be accommodated.
And they used him as part of-
Wow.
It was, okay.
Hey, yo, I was a good thing.
What?
He was a part of it.
of the show, guys.
Yeah, he was.
He was a part of the show.
No, when they did that,
with Ryan Gosling and them was doing that whole stuff,
I was like, all right, niggas.
Because of the whole thing that Marvel does at Hall H,
and I'm definitely not increasing our chances now,
that means that they don't have as many press credentials
that they give out for the Marvel panel at Hall Hage.
So what we have to do is we have to get passes
to something that comes before then.
Right.
And then before they kick the press people out,
we have to go find general emissions.
it's almost 7,000 people in there.
The seats are not together.
People are sleeping in there.
My motherfuckers have been waiting for 30 hours, 48 hours.
It did smell crazy.
There's a piss and shit line where they're yelling at you.
One or two.
I'm like, is this prison?
Go to use the bathroom.
And they say it's number one or number two.
There's a line for number two.
There's a line for number one.
There's a humanity that exists inside of Hall H.
It's called Humanity Hall to me.
There's a humanity that exists that I'm not sure.
that next year
when I'll be 47 years old
that I'm going to want to
wait all day
walk around trying to find
a goddamn seat
and then sit for four hours
to wait for the Marvel panel
and I will say this
it will increase our chances
I do feel like the people
who get press credentials
dog they sign
the like the deal with the devil
they're like hey yo you ride it with Marvel
if we see you say any shit against Marvel
we come into your house and we're killing your family.
Right.
So what we're going to work on
is having a better relationship
so we can get a better panel situation.
Right, right.
Maybe.
Charles doesn't care.
But the way that we did is two boots on the ground.
That's all you need.
That's a young man's game.
I'm out of it.
But we did it though.
We did it as a family.
And it felt so good when we did it.
And it was phenomenal.
Shout out to Jess.
Yeah.
Jess was holding it down.
If you were looking for somebody
to ride through Hall H with you,
Jess is the one.
Just really is.
Outside, inside.
Shout out to Jess.
But we bonded, man.
We bonded.
We went to the blurred and boogie party.
Yes.
Shout out to the blurred and boogie party.
Fantastic time.
Jomi was in there.
I was in there.
Charles was in there.
We were all in there together.
Blurred and boogie dancing with the rest of the blurts.
My nigger that's the black Power Ranger was going crazy.
What a time.
This brother is ageless.
He did a man.
No, he really does.
He didn't.
He didn't.
Walter Jones?
Yeah, Walter Emmanuel Jones.
Walter Emmanuel Jones is ageless.
Walter Emmanuel Jones was in there.
Like, he could basically still do the karate to the body roll.
That is at the thing.
He was going crazy.
He was dancing with different beautiful women doing different dance moves.
He was spry.
It actually gave me hope, man.
If you see Walter Emmanuel Jones, aka the Black Power Ranger anywhere,
put some music on and get it set off.
That man was the life of the party.
Well, I can't be.
If there's anywhere where I feel like the Black Power Ranger could get his shit off,
it is a party called Blurter Bougy.
He's like, this is got home.
This is like, his home game.
Like, come on, bro.
But, like, I love, the vibes were high in the party.
Yeah.
It was like our little piece of Comic Con.
It was a real cool event to be at.
Shout out to the Blurred and Boogie Party.
Shout out to the Blurton Boogie Party.
I was looking around and I'm like, hmm, I see certain colors.
That was a whole table.
Yeah.
What you mean, like white people sticking together at Blurbs?
I mean, it's gonna happen.
Wasn't me?
It's a black party.
Soups was there.
Shoups was at the Blurred Bluja party.
And then after, everybody hit the town.
Oh, yeah.
And the Midnight Boys took over.
What was that spot?
It was a great bar.
I couldn't tell you to me.
It was not a great bar.
It was a fucking hell on earth.
Oh, you didn't like it?
No.
If I had a great time, it was a great bar that we went to.
That's like a bar I would go to in like high school college.
Charles, it was very.
difficult to tell, bro.
Come on, man.
Charles went out to the dance floor.
When Charles, when Charles sees a lady that he likes on the dance floor,
he's so great.
He's slightly leans back.
I don't know why, because Charles is like up.
He's regularly, he's dancing.
And then he sees a lady that he likes and he goes.
Hey, hey, hey.
But you're underselling it, though.
We got it on video.
Yeah, yeah.
We walked in.
Not even, we're at the bar.
We're trying to get everybody drinks.
We've been inside for like five minutes.
We couldn't have been inside from other five minutes.
Turn around.
Where's Charles?
You're on the dance for dancing with some pretty lady.
Hey, D.
Took a second.
Not dancing with her.
Charles scooped that.
And let me tell you something.
I'll respect it.
Because he went on there.
He knew it was actually like watching some National Geographic show.
Yeah, yeah.
Because this is great thing.
This is like a Richard Attenborough.
I could like narrate it.
Charles knew who he was on the dance for to dance with.
He wasn't over.
eager in any way, shape, or form.
He danced by himself for a second.
He let his aura over the dance floor until she turned around.
He let her make the decision.
She turned around.
All of a sudden, you look, she looks back, and Kalika goes, got her.
She turned around.
And then this is the best part.
So they're dancing in the middle of the thing.
This is a beautiful girl.
This is a very pretty girl.
Yes.
So, like, they're dancing in the middle.
little little thing together and then all of a sudden, I look, I turn back and I look,
they're not on the dance floor anymore.
They are on the dance floor.
They've moved to the side of the dance floor so they can have their own party.
That's how you know you in the building.
Locked in.
And then how did that end?
Locked in.
I'm from New York, dog.
Like, what are we going to do?
That's what you're going to do is do your thing.
That's what you're going to do.
Then Steve, Kalika loves drunk Steve.
Drunk Steve is amazing.
Drunk Steve's different.
Steve knew all of the words to every song.
All the ones I could say.
Niggas was flying.
You said it.
No, I wasn't.
I'll be honest.
Once YG came on and Steve was God.
I was like, I'm like, how you know this?
These records will come on.
I'd be like, Steve, how you know this record, bro?
It's like I'm like the Manchurian candidate.
I'm just activated when it comes on.
And so, and then Jomi the drink buyer came out as well.
Yeah.
Jomey was going from.
place to place around the bar talking to different full groups of women.
Oh, I know.
Like, not, no, Joe, wait.
He's like, he's like, it's a birthday.
And I'm like, Johnny's like, hey, hey, it's a bachelor's party.
Jomey's what you call a volume shooter.
I'm like, Johnny, I would slow down.
He's like, no, it's bachelor party.
I'm buying a drink for all over.
If he leaves the bachelor party, he's at the bar to get the drinks for the bachelor party.
He meets another group of girls.
Yeah.
And then all of a sudden, I'll look over and all of a sudden, I see Johnny go.
Yeah, yeah.
Swarm the jets.
I was being nice.
You see over there, you see the lady, she got the veil on.
You're like, oh, you celebrate bachelor's party.
John, you're sick man, dog.
I'm just like, what else am I supposed to do?
You know what I'm saying?
Treat them to a nice night out.
I just have to say, dog, Kalika is the funniest person to go out with.
Oh, she hates more than Charles ever could.
Oh, she'd be looking at some of the women like.
She's a mama.
She's a mama hen when it comes to you guys.
Yeah.
She's a mama hen.
When it comes to you guys, she's like, look, stay away from the dangerous.
Then as we stayed in there longer, you know, it started to change a little bit.
Number one, Uncle Vans' feet started to hurt.
It was time to go.
Yeah.
We never got a chance to get dinner that night, though.
We never got a chance to-we-not.
We didn't have time.
We just came straight from Hall-A.
We went to anime, which was this restaurant that Alaya suggested, which was absolutely delicious.
Amazing.
Did it change your mind on Asian food?
You know, maybe, but it really didn't feel Asian.
I'm going to be honest with you.
There's a lot of staple foods.
like this fucking steak and
goddamn. You like the pork though, right?
It was okay.
The pork d'all is good. It was okay.
It was like there was a lot of, it was Asian food, no doubt about it.
But it didn't feel like, felt like very Americanized Asian food.
You liked the pig ear.
Pig ear was good.
Nick, I'm from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Like fucking pig feet.
Yeah.
All of that.
I haven't eaten those parts of the hog in a long time.
I used to eat the whole fucking hog.
Chitlins.
You ever had hogs head cheese?
No, but I've seen that.
Get to how you drag your.
Y'all niggins never ate no hogs' head cheese.
No.
Hey, anybody in the back?
Have y'all ever had hogs' head cheese before?
No.
My dad used to take some crackers.
Hogshead cheese comes in like a block.
Oh, my God.
My dad used to take a block of hog's head cheese
and take some crackers and just put the,
hogs head cheese on the cracker and just like eat the fucking shit what is it made of dog i actually
let's let's look it up hogs head cheese hogs head head was this shit they was talking about
with texas chain massacre cheese texas chancel massacre let's look it up right now hogs head cheese we'll get
we'll get the house of the dragon we'll we'll start it but right now jumb you look at what is it
made out of hogs head cheese is made out of uh i used to think it was made out of the head of the hogs
it's a jellied loaf made of the meat skin and other parts of the pig's head that are boiled until tender chopped seasoned and then set in their own gelatin gelatinous broth that sounds delicious I mean is this what it looks like it's hogshead cheese bro
ew this is this one it looks like it's hogshead cheese man is it is it this oh god damn it bro's hogshead cheese man it's fucking this looks vile this looks viz
My dad used to, my dad used to take some crackers, and he would, like, eat it on a dare almost to you.
God rest my father's soul.
Oh, they got hogshead cheese and heaven.
He used to take the crackers, and he would just peel off the parts of the hogs.
Stop, stop, stop.
Trash, it looked terrible.
And then it would be, the hogshead cheese would jump to other food that would be in the refrigerator.
It would affect other food.
Oh, I hate that.
Like, you could smell it?
It would be like, now you got hogshead orange juice.
Oh.
If you got some apples or shit
You got hogshead apples
I'd be like but it would be in there
And my mom would just be like
Terry would you please put the
Hogshead cheese
In a zip lock bag or something
And he would just laugh
He would just be open
Nah there's a season up to refrigerator
A little bit season up the fridge
With some awesome cheese
It's disgusting anyway
But can we please get to House of the Dragon
I apologize
I'm sorry sorry
Great time of go on

What's that you say? Oh, you hit that shit.
Token? Tocoon. Tokoon. Yeah, it's basically
like the new Marvel versus Capcom, but it's all Marvel.
It's all Marvel.
Yeah.
Okay, well, I mean, that makes a lot of sense because in Marvel versus Capcom, too, all the greatest characters were Marvel.
Oh, yeah.
Rosser's good, too.
There was no good Capcom characters that you could really use at a high level.
Really?
All the top tier characters in the game, maybe if you did like the Strider Doom Trap, but you still need your doom to do them to do that.
Right.
All the top tier characters in the game was Cable, Storm, Sentinel, Magneto, Silo, Scylock.
All of those characters were Marvel characters.
The Capcom characters didn't bring very much to take.
table. You can maybe use strata if you're doing a strata, doom trap like I said, but most of the time it's going to be a Marvel character. So maybe you don't need the Capcoma characters. You're fucking using a coolman.
No, you'll like it. It's good. Programming reminders is over. Today on The Midnight Boys, we're giving you our instant reactions to the latest episode of another classic part of the House of the Dragon takeover. I'm so into this show. I can't fucking believe how into this show I am. I love this fucking show. This is the show. This is one of these shows.
It's definitely one of the shows
Of all time
Yeah, this is the show
All right, man
It's one of these shows
We're gonna, we're going to spoil
A lot of parts of this
Maybe even some stuff from the books
We're not going to spoil anything
That moves ahead in the books
But if you haven't read anything
We're gonna spoil it Steve, spoiler warning
We're getting ready to talk about
How's at the Dragon
You're listening
To a reaction podcast
The spoilers are coming
Okay, to begin our reactions.
Okay, to begin our reactions.
have to bring you the Midnight Manifest, which puts you in the know.
Chuck, take it away.
All right, these your Midnight Manifest for episode seven of House of the Dragon season
three, directed by Nina Lopez Corrado, written by Philippa Guzzlet and Zenzel Price.
Renier goes apeshit on Helena trying to get her sister to fork over some details about
the future using her dreamer powers.
Eventually, the queen finds out Damon didn't kill Sheep Steelers' writer and instead was
lying to protect Raina.
Syrac's caraxies and C-Smoke jumps Sheep Steeler and take Raina back to Kingsland.
These events drive a wedge through Damon and Rainier's relationship with the queen seeking political and amorous counsel from Masaria.
Meanwhile, Amon is in Hale and Hell as both Alice and the newly arrived Allison use his edipus complex to try and sway the prince to their side.
Amon kills the assassin that Reneer sent to kill him, lightly imprisons his mother and admits to Allison that he tried to kill his brother on purpose.
This ends in Allison trying to poison her own son-spiced wine.
Fortunately, Agon gets a small win when zombie sunfire returns to him.
burns the forces that are trying to take him back to King's Landing,
and Ormond solidifies his side of the impending battle
by sending Corliss his finger back to the blacks,
while flipping Ulf to his side.
That has been your midnight manifest for House of the Dragon,
throwing it back to you, Van.
What did you think of this up, sir?
Fantastic.
A lot of things...
Really?
I loved it.
I liked it.
I'm in.
I'm all the way in.
I think a lot of things in this episode came to a hit.
Obviously, you had the Damon situation,
sheep's stealer dragon battle.
you had Allison and Heron Hall
a lot of that stuff
disgusting, we'll get to it
and then you just had
a lot of things with Rainera
just being made truthful
like the actual
status of her rule
is becoming evident to her
and that is interesting
when you start to look at the way this season was set up
it was kind of a season where
everyone had these thoughts
and these thoughts weren't real or accurate
They were living in a fantasy world.
They didn't know all of the information.
I think this episode is an episode that gets you to characters actually understanding
what the reality of their situation is.
And you can see the narrative payoff and how much you're invested into each character
kind of facing their truth.
What about you?
I like these characters and I like the situations they're in.
This to me, as the season has gone on, has felt like just a lot of shit is happening.
in terms of
perfect example.
We were kind of making the joke.
All right, you have this bargaining chip with Allison.
Reneer does.
You send her off with this assassination
plot.
And throughout the episode, Rainier is like,
what's happening with Arenner?
What's happening with Arescent?
And Amos just goes,
all right, you're my prisoner now.
And it just happened so fast
in matter of fact.
You know, I do get the point of this show
is that like no one is really,
fit to rule and you're kind of dealing with idiots.
But there were a lot of moments in this
episode where I was like,
is this really how it's gonna happen?
Even like, Aben makes a joke at one point.
You're like, yeah, my mom makes a lot of fucking plans.
Like, that shit don't be working out.
And I'm like, hey, at least you're saying it.
So I just, it's not that this episode was bad.
I've just, you can see a lot of the stitching.
You can see a lot of them just trying to get shit to happen.
So we can get, even like the old thing,
we had known that Oth was going to flip sides,
but what, Oof doesn't show up until like the end of the episode
and it's act, it's kind of like, oh, here's the big reveal.
He's finally flip side to Oremant.
I was like, I wanted a couple more scenes of just like,
all right, how did he meet Oormon?
Like, how long have they been working together?
That I was, some of it felt a little rushed.
Boy about you guys?
I mean, I like the episode.
I think there, I do have a question about the Orman thing.
in terms of
he has been very like
one of the first things we learn about him
is that he hates the dragons
dragons are gross
dragons smelly
we don't need dragons to
rule and yet
he's like I got a chip
and we think the chip is corallus
but no the chip is actually off
and he's meeting up with him
I guess every couple nights
and they're drinking beers
and he's like hey man
you know you want a whatever that castle
that's a future castle
you don't want that one
Honey hole.
Honeyhole.
You want a honey hole, don't you, honey hole?
Get your drift mark.
He's like, oh, that could be something.
I'm like, he seems like a character, Ormond, seems like a character of principle and purpose.
Somebody's always going to stand by his beliefs and be like, no, I'm not going to do it this way.
We got to do it all way because the high-tile way is the best way is the only way.
But he's also like, no dragons.
Hey, man, we got to, I got to get it.
I got to get some dragons.
So it's a little weird.
I don't, like, I didn't hate the episode, but I don't know, I didn't hate the episode.
I was just like, oh, we are, we have one episode left.
And sometimes I'm like, the best, the best penultimate episodes to me are what the entire season has been leading towards.
They're usually the big episodes.
They have so much dramatic weight.
And it seemed like this penultimate episode didn't.
It was almost like setting up the chess pieces for everything to blow up.
I think there were a couple of, not resolutions, but I think a good, like, mini character arcs that were,
like realized or at least some very good moments.
I think Agon's final stand
was very interesting for him
because everything that was like
downtrodden and him borderline accepting
his fate to be
basically snuffed out and
then proving himself to be
worthy of like at least his own
pride to like stand up
against all of those things that he was worthy
against and then dismissing
Laris only to
have his dragon fully alive and then
killing everyone to kind of
recede back into his old self.
I thought that was a very interesting and tragic way to end his story for this episode.
I'm going to come back to Orman real quick, because it's interesting what you said about
Orman, you said he seems to be a character of belief and principles.
That's interesting, because he's actually, in my opinion, only a character of one of those
things.
He's a character of belief, but of no principle.
And so, like, sometimes
people think that belief is a principle,
but what normally separates people
is not belief but principle.
So if you take Professor X and Magneto,
their beliefs are not that much different
in terms of they believe in the safety of mutankind.
The principle is pretty different.
One believes in the safety of mutine kind
in mutant supremacy.
The other one begins in the safety of mutine kind
coexisting with like the same people.
That's not exactly like what I'm trying to say.
But like a lot of people have the same beliefs.
Their principles are what separate their tactics
and getting to those beliefs.
So Ormond's belief to me is that
you don't need dragons.
You dragons shouldn't, not that you don't need dragons,
but that dragons don't qualify you to rule.
that what qualifies you to rule is the lineage of men
and your bloodline of being a high tower
and the fact that you are a man,
he believes that men are greater than dragons
and that dragons are almost cheating.
But there's nothing that would stop him
from using them to like undergird
everything that he wants to do.
He doesn't have any principles,
so he will do anything.
His belief is so strong in everything that he's saying,
that is genuine.
also his religious belief too.
Like that is genuine,
but he has no principle.
So that is kind of the reason why
he kind of
is underhanded and double dealing
and he doesn't stand
for anything, but he has
a deep, deep belief
that his family
and his line is better than everyone
else and that they are fit to rule.
Orban kind of remind
he has like that Odysseus quality
where he is like a modern man
stuck in ancient times
where the Targaryens
part of their rule
isn't just that they have dragons
it is Damon's belief that
these dragons make us gods
these dragons make us better
than everyone else
this power we were all of these
and even Ranira buys into it
all of these prophecies
when she's talking to Helena
she's just like no no the gods want this
of course they want this
and I think Ormin is a character
and this is why I love him so much, where it's like,
he's like, no.
These are just, these are crazy people with magical creatures.
Yeah.
They are not better than us.
Right.
But the thing that blinds him is he thinks that the high towers,
his belief in the high towers is his supremacy.
That's like, no, our family should rule.
Right.
Because we're the high towers.
Fuck them.
And I was just like, that to me is what makes him interesting.
It's not that he's above using dragons.
It's like, hey, yo, if the warfare says we need dragons,
I'll use dragons.
But like, I'm looking at them as beasts and weapons.
that's all they are.
Right, because all the principle is
really a boundary, right?
And he hasn't shown that he has any of those.
He'll do whatever he has to do.
But what I do believe about the character
is that his belief in his family
and where his family should be
and all of that stuff, that is sincere.
Yeah.
And I think that's also something else
that's happening in the show overall
is a lot of people thinking
a lot of things that aren't true.
And that, like,
that is really the crux of this entire Civil War
is no one having a handle on the actual truth,
which is a difference between,
like everybody else in the original Game of Thrones
had claims that they knew were flimsy.
Yeah.
And it was about might.
Now, everyone thinks that what they're saying and doing is real.
Everyone actually thinks they have an actual claim to it.
And that's dangerous.
And that's dangerous because no one is actually,
actually, you know, operating.
in anything that's real.
And then it comes back to, is any of this really real?
It's all bullshit anyway, right?
The people don't get a say.
They're suffering for all of this stuff.
So lines and blood and all of these shit,
it's kind of all made up.
So it's a struggle for who's going to make up the next portion of it.
I mean, it's,
and the thing that I find fascinating,
because, like, this is what happens in Civil War,
where it's like, the thing that you are fighting for during the war,
once you get installed in a leadership position like Renera,
the small folk, the common folk,
don't give a fuck about what you were quote unquote fighting for.
They're wondering like,
okay, we need gold,
we need food,
we need bread,
we need all of these things here.
And it's so funny where I'm like,
oh,
Reneira was a great,
I want to say great,
but she was better at fighting a civil war
than she's been as a ruler.
Of course, for sure.
That's easy, though.
I feel like a lot of stuff that we've been like projecting
about Rineera or like,
I'm at like thinking like,
where is she going to end?
up near the end of the season we see in this episode right one of the first scenes with helena
she's like the gods want me to rule right like that's her sister you know she's been kind she's
been kinder to her than pretty much like everybody else in that uh high tower targaryian family
and in that moment she kind of loses it not even a little bit a lot she's grabbing her she's like
yo what did they tell about me tumbledon uh damon where is her like she kind of loses it for a second
with the person she's been the kindest to
in like as her sister.
And then later in the meeting
with the council meeting
when Tormanedly's like,
hey man, kind of feel like you set me up.
She's like, exactly.
What next?
And you're just like, yo, Rayneira, man.
What happened? So like, even if her words
were just like, you know, bombs
to keep people alleviated so like nobody would be upset.
This point, that, that veneer is gone now.
That part of her is out of there.
She's at this point like, yo, man,
I just got to get stuff done.
I need to be able to rule what's this.
And then you have the Rainer stuff.
Don Rainer, sorry, Raina stuff that happens later.
And she's just kind of like, it's kind of falling apart for her.
I understand Reniro more than I've understood any monarch, any house lord or lady in the history of Game of Thrones.
Why?
Because a lot of times when you meet them or when you have met them, they've been fully formed.
Maybe with the, maybe with the, maybe Danny, I understood as much because you're with, you were with Danny every single step of the way, right?
But even like when you first meet Danny, she has all of these ideas of what it is to be a Targary and that we're really putting her head by her brother and other people to where she still learns kind of on the fly about even what she means in this world.
It's all like Lord.
Reneira, you get to see how the kingdom actually works
through her inability to rise to the occasion of being a monarch.
She can't be good enough.
She can't be bad enough.
She can't be powerful enough.
She can't be powerful enough.
She can't be anything enough to be this.
It's driving her crazy.
And so by the time you get to the end of this,
she's talking about all the things she's trying to do
without doing anything.
And you think about other kings, not just in this.
Like a king really only needs to do like one thing well.
Some kings are good at warfare.
Some kings are beloved.
Some kings, but very few monarchs period are good at all of the things.
And she's trying to be all of that and she's not succeeded in anything.
I mean, even the scene at the end where her and Masari asleep together,
it's this scene where, and it's been happening with Renair throughout the season,
where she wants someone to tell her.
that not only was this worth it,
but like this is my birthright,
you're doing a good job,
this was meant for you.
She wants the thing that I'm like,
you're never going to get.
That is a very,
like, we still deal with it with celebrities.
There's that video going around
of like Elon Musk with the reporter.
They hate you.
And you can see it his face.
It is a very celebrity thing.
It was like, oh,
you can't buy the one thing that you want,
which is people's love and respect and adoration.
That's something you have to earn.
Like, good leaders in this world,
we judge you by how well you're leading,
not it was your destiny or it was the prophecy that you should be here.
Who gives a fuck about that?
And the process doesn't matter.
Yeah, right.
Like, it really doesn't matter what you had to sacrifice or what you had to change.
Like, that just doesn't put stakes in the refrigerator.
So, like, for her, she wants to do things, but she also wants to be seen as a good person.
Yep.
And that's just...
During a war?
During a civil war, where she usurp.
But also, there's still an intense privilege there.
Yeah.
Like an intense privilege to where she believes that she is anointed and placed
and that light has shown upon her.
And it's with every single scene in the show,
she moves further or further away from this.
To the way at the end of it,
she just wants something to make her feel good like Hallie Berry Monsters Ball or Riverdown.
Never forget it.
Yes.
But, but yeah.
So I think that, I think seeing Coral,
Corlis again. My man lost his finger.
Tough. Tough. Tough.
No, but I was, I respect Corlis.
He was sitting here like, hey, yo.
Put me in myself.
He wasn't going outside. I'm not drinking. I'm not drinking in a while.
That was so funny. He's like, nah, I'm good.
And then, you know, it's just everybody.
This was kind of the episode of Rood Awakening, Steve.
Do you think that that's, that that reflection of the affirmation that
Reneera is looking for is also kind of like a reverse image of
Aymond at Heron Hall
with his Oedipus
Complex and with
the witch that's occupying it
because I know that a bit of the
Cryptonite of the show has been the slowness of the things
that happen at Heron Hall
but as a mirror to what Reneer is looking for
with the affirmations that he's
like good or like
needs to lay in weight or has a plan
that is scheming
I think that that's an interesting
part of it but I still think that that's
a bit more of a like the
weaker part of this episode in this show.
Yeah, I think the Heron Hall stuff,
Heron Hall is just like a, not an awesome place to be.
Everybody goes crazy.
Everybody sucks.
Which is, like, weird, random violence happens.
It doesn't really seem to ever have like a clear,
what is like Heron Hall other than this kind of vortex that exists there where
bad shit happens.
Why would you want it?
Why would you want it? It's so cursed.
But it was interesting to me that he,
even more than Damon,
feels like he's surrendered to Heron Hall.
Yeah.
Like that Heron Hall is an entity to where at one point he's talking,
he's like, you know, we'll start our own thing.
Like right here.
Like everything else that was happening before,
maybe that's not even for me.
Like, we'll start our own thing right here
and we will grow it to be something bigger and different
than everything that they're fighting over up there,
which tells me that, like, he has given in
to the dankness, the hopelessness,
the weird
mysticism of it
he's almost
surrendered to it
perhaps
one of the worst
I almost turned my TV off
when Allison came in
the first time
and you thought was asking
no no no
I knew that wasn't Allison
right
because Allison do not like that man like that
she do not like her son for real
right I mean she tried to kill him at the end right
but the scene where they're making like
and then
he's grossed out by the fact that it's not his mom
I'm like all right
That's wild.
I actually fast-forwarded through it.
I can't do this.
It's gross.
You guys, it's gross.
You know, I'll say this.
Game of Thrones, my incest journey with you is finished.
It's done.
My watch is over.
So any scenes that involve any type of incest at this point, I don't care if it's
You're fast-forwarding?
The incest that we accept.
Because we accept some incest, right?
Brother, sister.
This is that.
This is the limit of that I said.
Are we ranking which incest are Game of Thrones?
Yeah, let's right.
Easily.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Because like, Alex said, you're talking about worst, worst?
Worst?
So, like, the incest between, so Alan and what's your name?
And, uh, Bayla.
Bella.
Alan and Bella, their cousins.
Cousins.
But like, Uncle needs someone.
Third removed something.
Cousins.
Because the, the, uh.
Are they cousins?
Well, her grandfather is his dad.
Yeah.
Is this snake.
Her grandfather is Alan's dad.
Yeah.
Okay.
So that makes what?
Yeah.
uncle, right?
Is that a grand, that's an uncle?
No, because if Corlis,
Alan and Adam,
then that's her grandfather, that would be an uncle.
Yeah, that's an uncle. So that's an uncle. So that's an uncle, but it's a great
uncle, right? It's a great uncle. I don't think so. Hold on, wait a second.
No, it's not a great uncle. If my grandma,
your grandfather's son. My grandfather, if my grandmother,
the son of my grandmother's, my uncle.
But to be fair
To be fair
That's also Raneiro's husband
Like that's her uncle too
Hey fuck you guys
They're listening and judging us
And I know Alia's back there laughing
And stuff like that
Alia never
Half uncle and niece and cousins
Right great
So they're all that
All that
Okay so we're half uncle
And niece and cousins right
Yeah
So that's too much in the soup
That's a lot in the soup
That's a hogged cheese
Of
That's a lot in the soup
If we're waking incest
Half uncle
niece, whatever, let alone on the list.
On the list.
Right.
Fucking.
Damon and Reneera.
Nees, niece, uh, niece uncle.
Yeah.
That's actually the same thing.
We don't have any trouble understanding.
That is basically the same thing is the brother of.
Yeah.
No, because.
Their dad's brother.
Yeah.
But this is different because it's the grandfather's.
Yeah.
So it's, like, it's.
I think the two that we.
Hold on.
Hold on.
Hold on.
I can't be this stupid.
I apologize to the audience.
So.
break it down
Damon is the uncle
Rehnira is his niece
Yes
Yes
Damon but Damon is
Her father's brother
Yeah
Uncle
Straight up uncle
Straight up uncle
Straight uncle
Straight uncle
Straight uncle
Okay
But you have to think
Bayla is his kid
But
Grant
Okay
So Bayla
Bayla is Damon's child
Right
Bail is Damon's child
Yes
And then Bela is...
So Adam and Allen would be the great uncle
because they are the sons of...
The grandfather.
Yes, right.
Okay, now, before we move on,
because it comes through the mom there,
yeah, okay, that's it.
Yeah.
All right, so it's different, but it's the same.
Right.
Yes.
Well, there's a generation removed.
There's a generation removed.
So he's a great uncle, is what I said before.
I don't understand any of this stuff, by the way.
Yeah, right.
None of this is good.
But that, though, is different still.
I'm trying to give some, shoot some bad things.
So here's what I'll say.
Brother and sister is nasty.
Agon, Helena, Nask.
Nothing is, okay, so these are the limits of,
these are the levels of nasty to me.
The first level of nasty, I'm sorry.
Mom, mom, son, that's rough.
Father, daughter.
That's nasty.
I'm out.
I'm out.
That's first degree nasty.
Yeah.
That's number one.
Second degree nasty.
Second overall.
Second overall.
Siblings.
That's second degree.
Especially if you grew up.
It's nasty no matter what.
But if you grew up with these people,
I don't like that.
I don't like it.
I'm with him.
A hell of a caveat.
No, no, no.
You grew bad, but if it's all bad.
If you grew up calling the same people mom and dad, it's over, I want to see it.
So if it's a long loss situation, then it's not as nasty.
Hey, it happens in the world where people didn't realize.
Oh, no, that's your brother.
Sons of bitches.
Nah, man.
All right.
So what's third degree?
Third degree would be Alan and, and.
Yeah.
Alan and Bailey.
Alan and Bela
I mean that's the same thing
I would say third degree
would be
Rainer and Damon
because they'd been
knew when they was related
Nah
That's third degree
That's third degree
That's third degree
Alan not even
In the family
For he just got
But he still
Seek's son
He's the same thing
But like
Yeah
But they didn't grow up together
You know what I'm saying
Damon
Damon saw Supergirl
Like we
He was with Matt
Yeah
He was with Matt
Nassie
So let me ask you this
All we then
saying that we're given a pass
to Allen and Bailey.
This is not for me to decide.
Do they get a pass?
Why not?
You can decide.
If I'm going to be honest.
No,
no,
no, no.
There's nothing to do it black.
We are, we are letting this last show
where we're like, is this inclusion?
Our 2026 brains
cloud our judgment.
We too woke.
You know what I'm saying?
We are too woke for this.
Like with Adam Allen and Bella,
I wouldn't do these now,
but if I was back then I'd be like,
okay, I can see it.
Tough.
Hey, hey, if I'm coming from the mud, nothing,
I see, like, a cute, a cute young sister got the name.
Like, we can inherit, like, drift marked in it.
Like, come on.
But she's your niece.
We didn't grow up together.
This, this caveat is very concerning.
We did not grow up.
This is a concerning.
She is your dad's great niece.
Grand.
But you have to think about the tiers we just listed, right?
It's on the bottom tier.
On the out.
It's on the out.
It's not.
It's still insensitive.
What's on the outskirts?
It's the manslaughter of incense.
Yeah.
Right.
For being real, though, you've got to think about this as well.
Like, back in this time, they didn't have any, like, DNA testing.
So, like, you might be fucking a common folk that might be your cousin.
You don't know.
That could because a lot of these people have, like, you know, some kings have, like, a hundred bastards.
Yeah.
So you never know.
However, that's not what we're talking about.
That's a nice little kind of little.
They're blameless in that.
In that situation.
But it is interesting.
Okay.
So if you had a fart, like, let's say.
you were back then and you had a fine aunt
that you didn't grow up with.
But like what kind of aunt though?
So are you talking about an aunt?
Like your sister's sister?
Like my sister. Or you're your mom's sister?
Nah, come on man.
But like she's in another kingdom.
She rolls up.
Can't do it.
She got a baddie on her.
Like there's no other women with fatties in Westrose
that are related to me.
She's the only woman with the fat butt.
Come on, man.
Yeah.
But that's a lady.
That she's a lady.
She got, you know, some,
some riches. Why are you trying to sell him on this?
If we're related, that means I'm going to
think about it. Hey, man,
I'm going to be real with you. I don't know
what's going on this morning. I don't know if I didn't
take the animal pack.
But I still cannot rat.
Because my mother's
My grandmother's
You're a visual learner.
He's a visual learner. He's got to see the chart.
You got to see the chart.
Wait a second. Wait a second. Wait a second.
My grandmother's son.
would be rest in peace my uncle David
We got a green screen the math going through that.
So my grandmother's son would be my uncle David
and uncle Hal.
Yes.
Right?
But this is different though because, oh, I know what's fucking me up.
It's not the same family.
He has two families.
Yeah, he's got two families.
That's what's fucking me up.
What's fucking me up is this is because the white lady
is his wife.
Yes.
And.
And yes.
Yes.
So what's fucking me up is the two different.
That's what's fucking me up.
It's the same thing, but it's a half.
Like you guys said, okay.
So that's what up.
That shit happened a lot.
Oh, yeah.
It happened to the side.
I got halfies all over.
The nigga,
half he's all over.
Like, Glenn Davis is like my half cousins.
You know, you relate.
The decision was like,
you're related to this person.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So yeah, it's tough.
Okay, cool.
So that's what's fucking me up to half
because I'm trying to think,
because that's very,
because if not for the half,
then that would also be very,
very close and we'd be the same thing.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
So, but we're giving them a pass.
In the world, real world, no.
In the world of Game of Thrones, wait, way, way back to you?
It's nothing.
It's like work.
Yeah, it's like work.
Let's stay on these incest niggas.
Now, wait, can we bring this back to the show real, real quick?
That's what we're about to talk about.
Adam Allen.
That's what we're going to go.
Oh, no, you got it?
No, I was just like, because it was Bella and Allen, right?
Yeah, that case, yes.
And then she told Adam thinking like, hey, yo, you're older.
Oh, so you talk to him.
He was like, oh, word.
But you got to remember.
I don't know if it was two episodes or one episode ago where he was like, yeah, man, like, it'd be cool, you know, to be out there with you.
You got to rest, you know what I'm saying?
You got to be out there.
And then maybe we can, like, you know, hang out sometimes.
I don't know.
I'm just saying, and she brushed that off.
Then the next episode, she's in there with Allen, you know, they're having a good time.
She's like, yo, I'm not, I'm here.
It's been crazy.
I might as well.
It's a foul call.
It's a yellow card on a play.
For who?
For bailing?
Oh, no.
I don't think she's keeping it real.
What's that?
Because you know one of the brothers is super awkward.
You know what I'm saying?
So you know he did not tell his brother.
Like, you got to hit him on the side.
Be like, hey, she got to keep it peace.
She said, she got to keep it peace.
I don't think, I don't know if she, I can't really put that jacket on her.
Yeah.
Because really, the moment that she had a chance to like talk about it.
She was ready to talk about.
Her face lit up.
So he's told you.
And I'm like, oh, she's actually in.
If we keeping it a bean, what?
That's on Adam.
I don't know if he, but who knows?
Has anyone professed their love, though?
Has he gone to his brother and been like, yo, like, I love her?
And has Adam, has Alan gone to him and been like, yo, I love her?
There's no shot out.
There's no way he did that.
We know out.
Come on, bro.
But no, bro.
I don't think that that's fair to like.
Oh, no, no.
It's not all on baila, if I'm being real too, like, Adam, come on.
How does Adam know, Adam?
Adam doesn't know about his brother.
Adam doesn't know about his brother.
I don't think they know about each other, which is why when these niggas end up killing
each other or something like that, it's going to be so tragic because this is all happening
so organic.
And it was tough to look at homie's face.
For one second, he had it like, oh, shit, what the fuck is going on?
And then boom, they get interrupted.
Tough.
You hate to see it.
Not for our black brothers, man.
Yeah.
It happens to all of us.
That's what happened.
You ever been with, you ever been trying to get with somebody?
And she's like, yeah, man, you're talking, it's cool.
And she's like, yeah, but your homie over there, though, and you're like, I got a
worst situation.
Oh, no.
The worst situation is when you in a, you in a spot, right?
Oh, this happened on a show that I love called Chris Cross.
Okay.
Do you guys.
Do some Googling here?
You guys know the actor, the great Eugene Bird?
You know who that is?
Eugene Bird.
Look him up.
Look up Eugene Bird right now.
Okay.
Bird like a bird.
B-Y-R-D.
Eugene Bird.
Okay.
Look him up.
You're going to know his face when you see him.
Okay.
I got no second.
I got no second.
Eugene Bird.
Eugene Bird.
Okay.
So Eugene Bird, who played, I think he was Winkin'A-M-M-E-M-E.
He played Winkin' 8-mile, right?
Winkin 8 Mile.
He was on this show, on showtime.
Nobody remembers this show except for me called Chris Cross.
And it was about a white boy and a black guy
that were in this English boarding school.
Eugene was at the Blurton Boosie Party.
I bring this up to Eugene whenever I see him,
he's tired of me bringing it up.
But at one part, they were best friends.
But then one black girl came to the school.
Now, Eugene's character never had no black girls around
to really Mac on.
So he felt like that was his.
He actually goes up to his homie
because they get into it over the girl
and he goes, yo man, you can't even understand this.
We're soulmates.
You wouldn't get that.
And his white boy, whose homeboy goes,
I never thought I'd hear you say anything like that.
I was like, oh, she's going crazy on Chris crying.
What I'm saying is when you're in a situation
where you're in an all-white space
with your homeboy and one black chick walks in there
and she's fine and everybody's like,
I feel at home now, it makes it even worse when you brick.
But that's what you related to.
Yo, well, I mean, that is true, but you didn't know before, right?
And now it is what it is.
Brother and y'all going over the same one.
Because it's not like these guys are going to be able to, like, move on to, like,
Reneira or somebody like that.
Like, this is their shit.
And what makes it even fun of here is to take it out.
They were seeing, they were seeing Jace.
They was like, pretty boy.
He got the fuck out of there.
They were like, man, Bailer was.
It's all ready to get rid of that.
Jase is out of here.
Now, guess what?
Day nights.
So they, is it a little, if Adam and Allen, I have to say,
it is not the greatest that obviously she feel bad,
like she just lost J's.
She lost all this.
Rearer don't want her no way through.
And they're doing the thing where it's like,
you can cry my shoulder.
Look, I don't know if she was ever really into that J shit.
And so I think now.
She was, though.
She was.
No, she was.
I mean, she dropped it.
Pretty quick.
He was the hair to the throat.
He didn't give a fuck about no Jeter.
Of course she was into Jays.
She really is feeling Alan for real, though.
Yeah.
She likes it for her face lit up.
Now, this is another thing that has to happen.
And, you know, we haven't been through this as the Midnight Boys,
because y'all do a good job of compartmentalizing.
If this was the real world, what I would, if this was me,
let's say in this situation, like, I'm removed from it.
Like, I'm on the outside looking at.
Me and Steve on the outside looking in,
and this is a deal between y'all.
What I would say to y'all is, I'd be like,
man one of y'all gotta take the other one you know she hung up on the dragon and all of that
shit like that scars on the face but really one of y'all if we going out one of y'all got to take one
of y'all got to if you'd run into two man right running the two man right yeah somebody got to yeah
you got to you got to know what the game is and by the way just to let the fellas know the fellas
when y'all think like that a lot of times y'all have been that in the two man a lot of times I've
been in the situation, me personally,
whereas me and Ian and Ian's and you got,
and the girl's like, you know, you got to take van.
So it goes both ways.
It goes both ways.
Here's the thing.
Shit, I don't give a fuck.
We all out drinking.
My man, hey, I don't know if they're so amazing.
I'll take the whole part.
Hey, y'all, you got, you got to.
You got to be that guy.
You got to set the screen.
Yeah, come on, brother.
Go do your thing.
I'm with them for the whole night.
I've been a situation.
I'll tell you a story.
These girls end up crying to me.
We end up bonding.
to becoming friends
because my man is out doing this thing.
I'll tell you the story, man, real quick.
It was me, Kerm, and one of Kerm's friends.
Oh, this is great.
We're out at Zepiom one night.
Zebulon one night.
Right?
Yeah, man.
Was this the other, okay.
No, this wasn't that night.
It was, this was like a year ago or something like that.
And so what Kerm's, homie is talking to this girl
and these group of girls, right?
Chatted them up, like, ha ha, it's all great.
Eventually they leave for a second.
You're like, yo, who you feeling?
He's like, the red head.
That's the one I'm trying to get with.
He was like, bet.
Kerm?
No, no, no.
His friend.
Kerm's friend.
I'm not going to name Kermm's friend.
I don't know my death.
It was not, Carlos.
It was not Carlos.
Anyway.
It's a joke.
I love you, Carl's got a great hit of here.
They come back, and me and Kerm start saying screens.
We're talking under the other two girls.
Hey, how y'all been?
Where y'all from?
Oh, that's crazy.
That me too.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Slowly, but surely, you start like, you know,
bumping out old girl.
You know what I'm saying?
out the homie, boxing them out.
So they get the ISO.
Yeah.
So just me and Kerm, you know, sitting screens doing the whole thing.
Eventually, you know, he got the number.
They have a good night together.
Me and Kerm, again, no play.
We were just out helping out the homie.
Successful night.
Yeah.
That's what it means to be boys.
But it's so funny when you got a one-home girl who pissed off.
She's like, we don't want to talk.
Hey.
They hate, you know what they ain't.
Sometimes the defense is too hard that night.
Defense is too strong that night.
She's always the one who they, I was like, hey, you know.
Is that's happened before.
It's happened before while I've been like, hey, guys, like, uh, hey, my, my, uh, the charm brick.
The charm brick.
Van Lathen is a charming man, but it's a charm break.
She's not fucking with it.
So you're, you're on your own right now.
You're going to have to do some Kobe shit, which is score 81 against the whole thing.
Why you like, because I'm telling you right now, it's, it's not working.
I once had a girl look at me and just go, no.
Damn.
And I appreciate it.
I appreciate it.
Me and her end up becoming friends.
We got to become friends.
I was like, oh, yeah, don't let me stay here and spend a bunch of time and do all that stuff like that.
Save me a bunch of time.
Save me a bunch of time.
But in this situation, they're going to have to, somebody is going to have to go and, you know, figure that situation.
Make it happen the other way.
Yeah, make it happen the other way.
Because at the end, let's talk about that.
So the sheepstiller thing blows up in a dragon battle.
Nice.
Back to the show.
Loved it.
Sheepstiller flies off wounded.
Dragon Battle,
Ryder.
Wait, why didn't they kill Sheepstiller?
I was like,
they didn't kill him.
Sheepstler was limping off.
No, no, I was saying,
why didn't it like
Krakis and everybody be like,
we got to kill Sheep Steeler?
Like, we got to, like.
Oh, why didn't they do?
I think they try,
I think sheepstil just, like,
got away.
No, I think,
well, I,
I read that as, like,
hesitance on Damon's part
because he actually felt bad
of taking away
her dragon from her.
Interesting.
So you felt like
Damon spared sheepsteer.
Yeah.
I don't know.
The way I read it was that sheepseller just was able to kind of, like, be wildly enough to kind of get away.
Well, because he's knocked off of Krakis.
And then there's, like, a little scuffle and he's, like, kind of barely watching.
But then Krakseys clearly is, like, looking after Damon and protecting him.
But then he just watches sheepsteeler go off.
Like, I think if he really cared, he'd have pursued sheepsteeler.
I mean, he might have been able to pursue, but I think there was probably, like, a lot of other stuff happening right there.
But to your point, I mean, maybe.
I read it
I mean, but also it was
what was so interesting
I'm like
that battle shows you
because what is the name
of Reneuras dragon?
Syrax.
Syrax, you're like
Syrax was getting fucked
I was like
oh shit
when these dragons battle
there is a calculation
of like
we might have to let sheepstealer
like
just I mean
a completely size mismatch
first and foremost
Syrax don't
not big enough to hang
with the big dogs
like Karexies
like sheepsteeler
not even C-Smoke
really
so Syracs
Hey man, you got to know your role.
This is not the time.
This is not the place for you to be acting like this.
Almost like,
Veneer almost lost to Dragon off some nonsense.
Yeah, stop bucking up and like getting out of,
and like speaking out of the side of your neck and shit like that.
Play a little dragon's role, nigga.
He played a little dude.
I would say, though, man, like, I thought the fight was excellent.
I loved it.
Karaxes and Chief Silly got real beef, man.
Oh, my God.
Coraxi's, like, before the fight started all.
Like, oh, like, hey, hey, hey, hey.
I was like, sit down.
What you want?
God, but also why did Damon, this is when I get a little bit like, all right, this is where the show can get dumb.
When Damon gets off his dragon and starts walking the sheepstealer, his sheepstealer is about to like burn him to a crisp.
I'm like, dog, dog, get the fuck back on the dragon.
Why are you, like, why is anybody dismounting?
They're all trying to like take Raina back.
I was like, no, you mean like they shouldn't have had that meeting in the middle of a field talking to each other?
Yeah.
What do you do with Raina?
Raina was given, like, first of all, why hasn't Raina yet said, or maybe she will say, maybe we haven't gotten here yet, hey, I didn't kill Jace on purposely.
I can't control sheepsealing.
It seems as if that.
Well, she told, I mean, she told him that.
She was like, he doesn't listen to me.
But at that point, I don't think, again, Ray.
She's got fucking legitimately.
She's got cuts all over her face.
that demonstrate that her dragon is too wild to be tamed and to obey.
It seems as if, and this happens in the show sometimes,
it seems as if maybe Renair would not listen to this.
I don't think she wouldn't.
Maybe she wouldn't.
But it seems as if you could say,
hey, by the way, there's actually no reason
for me to have killed your son on purpose.
I was trying to help and the dragon won't listen to me.
Maybe she doesn't want to say that
because she doesn't want them to kill sheep steal it.
Maybe that's a part of it.
But it seems like at some point
she would make that case. Maybe she'll make it next episode.
Well, she wants to appeal to her
good graces by at least like avenging
some of that and going off and killing.
Yeah, she's trying.
Either I kill Vagar and I make up for some of it
or I die and I make up for all of it.
Yeah.
Bad math, but...
I'm going to be real.
That's a suicide mission.
Obviously.
I'm like, what are you going to do against Vagar?
Obviously.
It's the most obvious thing in the world.
Like, again, to talk about knowing your roles.
You know, you've known this dragon for what?
like two weeks.
He hasn't listened to you once.
How about you listen to your dad
who said, go off, stay hidden,
don't worry about it,
and let the big dogs handle business.
But now you want to get involved.
Now, not only you lose your dragon,
you back at Kingsland and so far away from your dragon,
now everybody looking at you crazy.
She's obviously dealing with some mental health issues.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And shout out to Beela.
Come to her side.
Yeah.
Beala comes to her side.
Hey, you will be born.
Bayla says, oh, hey, you're good.
Everything's cool.
By the way, I know a really.
nice guy. Hey, I got a two woman.
I need your help.
He's not as...
You say Raina's going to set the screenwork?
Yeah.
She's like, he don't look as good as the ball one.
Let's be honest with him.
Yeah, like, so, Alan, my...
Hey, but your hair busted, hey.
His hair, but, like, it's the whole not.
That's, that's so sick.
So...
Wait, really quick, while we're on this.
Can we calculate who are the people that Renera
needs to kill in that castle?
Because it's, the list is getting very long.
It's Helena and whether Helena's going to have a son or not.
If she wants to talk this shit, she do got it probably off Raina.
We will see.
Like, Allison, she should have killed.
Right. On the course, she should kill Damon.
Like, I mean, literally, her problem is that, like,
she's building a list of enemies faster than she's building a list of allies.
Right.
because things are so complicated
and everybody has,
no one is like doing anything for her.
Because she's a weak monarch,
and that's what happens in a weak monarchy.
In a weak monarchy, people act
not in the interest of the crown,
but in their own interests.
Before we get away from the Damon thing quickly,
I just want to shout out one quick thing.
The show does a great job of characterizing Damon
throughout the whole three seasons
because the hardest thing that Damon has ever done
in the entire show over how many ever episodes
the show's had.
is saying, please, to the lady at the veil
to save his daughter's life.
He cannot physically, he's, like,
it took him soul, he was like,
but that's been the brilliance of this season.
Exactly.
This season has weakened him.
At first, he was this resolute head-chopping Targaryan badass.
The show describes him before we even meet him
as the most dangerous man in Westrose.
And he maintained that.
Like, think about the way the show built him up.
He chops the head off, right?
Boom.
You see that.
Don't talk shit.
One clean cut, you're done.
Like, when Amon looks like he's about to buck up,
all Damon has to do is present himself.
And Amon, who is so foolhardy in his own belief
would challenge anyone except for him.
Just looks to the side, walks to the side.
The crab feeder stuff.
All of that.
All of that just as this and this season has cut him down to nothing.
No one will really listen to him about what has to happen.
He finally shows some vulnerability with his own seed, his own family.
Yeah.
All his friends get killed.
He can't protect anyone.
He can't intimidate anyone.
He can't put his thumb on a scale for what he wants.
He didn't mean.
He loses Renera by the end of this episode.
Yep.
But how do we feel about it?
How do we feel about Masaria, though?
Because I was like, I did feel sorry for her
because her home girl was just like,
they're never going to look at you as anymore.
They're just like a whore.
And then it's almost like Masaria is just like,
damn, she's right.
My claim to power in this situation with Renera
is essentially using almost Renera's
just deep, deep insecurity about herself
and being like, if I show her a little love,
if I give her a little affection,
she'll keep me around and she'll listen to me.
Because I think she was trying it the other way
and it was getting too complicated.
She held a couple.
Everybody's giving her a different input
on how she should do what she does, right?
She just, hey, keep some secrets for yourself.
She does that.
And then you get to a moment to where that almost blows up in her face.
The only thing she's sure of is this.
I will say, though.
Renair kind of guy kicked off with her a little bit.
You know, it was kind of like she came on to me.
Just to let you know.
Wait, way back in the day?
No, I'm talking about when they were in the room.
She was the one that was kind of looking at the midsection.
Like, what's going on?
She kind of kicked it off.
Well, no, she walked up and presented.
I don't know if you can call it.
You guys are talking about presenting.
It's so weird you guys' relationship with that.
Who said presenting?
He said presenting it.
He said presenting.
That's crazy.
presenting it is crazy.
I can tell what kind of niggas Steve.
Steve just opens the towel.
Okay.
Got the trench code.
Hey.
Stop.
Hey.
Hey.
No, no.
No, no.
Nickname.
Steve, the presenter, Allman.
Stop with that.
Steve just presents it.
Like, hey, what you're going to do?
Okay.
You're not into it.
All right.
Let's play some video games.
Let's play Super Smash Bros.
Brother's melee.
Hey.
But, but, but, yeah.
So, you know,
everybody's kind of falling back.
falling back into like, to, to, to, but Marcia, because I do feel, I think Missaria, what she also
realize is like, oh, for me to maneuver through Kings Landing right now, the reality of
situation is it's not actually getting better.
Right.
I think she realized with Renair, like, this is a weak monarch.
Like, to protect myself, I do have to start being like, can't think of really like the
common folk.
I can't really try to be making
King's Landing better.
I just kind of have to protect my neck
and make sure that like for as long,
I can ride this out for as long as possible.
Because I think she might,
I'm sorry, might be seeing like,
this ain't getting better.
No, it's not.
The homies had her straight.
She thought she could, yeah, you know,
I'm living like this, man.
It's nice in the castle.
It's like, you know, like,
we don't really messing with y'all in here, bro.
Like, this, all this.
That's the worst conversation to have
with the homie who comes up on some bread.
Like, it's like,
Look at all this.
Look at all my friends.
And you like.
Tough.
No fake.
All right.
Come on, bro.
Right.
Yeah.
Anything we leave out?
Oh.
You guys, you guys, specifically you two and Chris Ryan over on Talk to Thrones talk
about how much you love the Greens.
And I'm a green hater.
But I thought I finally understood your point into like the drama between them is so much more like it's human.
We get that in the scene with.
Alice of Allison and Amon in the castle with Amon's in the middle,
he's got Allison to his right and Alice to his left.
And they're having a family argument where he's like,
yeah, man, me and my girl, you know, we're trying to figure something out.
And the mom's like, nah, we're not really trying to do that.
And then, like, it's like a push and pull between the mom and the wife, per se.
And then the scene, the next scene is how it's been like,
yo, man, your mom tripping, bro.
Come on.
Yeah.
Your mom tripping, man.
He's supposed to be us.
He's surrounded by two milts.
He's overloaded.
He doesn't know what to do.
And he tried to reach for both.
Completely lost it.
I'm like, oh, now I see what you guys are saying.
The Greens have been like, they're not been uninteresting to me, but that was like, that's the most human thing I've ever seen.
Was Alice tripping by using the witchcraft to be in Allison?
She was tripping a little bit, but you know, that's what she knows what she has to do.
She's a witch.
Witch is no.
I mean, she tried it with Damon, too.
It was just so funny how much Amon looked, how overwhelmed he seems by the situation sometimes.
times. Yeah. He's still very
adept at killing people.
But at the end,
just Alice is so
fucking like, it's like, what an
idiot. Literally
he gets to when he collapses.
Dummy. Dummy. Like stupid.
Also, I would never trust
in Westrose just at this time
when someone comes in with two cups. No drinks. No drinks.
No drinks. No drinks. If I don't pour it myself, I'm not
drinking it. No drinks. You kidding me? No drinks in
Westero's. You killed her man.
Why can't you just not take a drink?
No drinks.
Like, no, I'm not introducing.
I don't want to meet no new people.
They're going to try to kill me.
Like, no drinks.
No new friends.
And he was like, fuck.
Just quick.
Just got to make sure.
You got to make sure I can't.
Sorry, Mom.
But he's also funny because he's like, damn, any single time somebody new comes
through hair and all, they try to kill me.
I already know what's up.
Oh, for real?
But, I mean, he didn't, how would you suspect your mom is trying to kill you?
Right.
To be fair to him.
However, this, man, this show, it's not funny, but it is funny.
because Allison was in there like, yeah, man, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, she tried to get the sword.
And then she tried to grab the, the, what do it, the dagger?
She's not built for, she not built for it.
No, she can't do it.
She can't do it.
She got to do the sneaky thing.
And you said this earlier, you mentioned, uh, wait, uh, what's his name, Amon said about
his mom to Alice.
Mom's got a lot of ideas.
Uh, none of them work out.
T off, that goes.
Agon, we haven't talked much about him.
we have to talk about this
Sunfire
Long in the Dawn
Zombie face
Zombie fire
Like
I like how they matched
They matched
What a fantastic shot
To end the episode
Right
He finally
Announces himself
As King
And it felt like
He believed it
He was ready to die
Mm-hmm
And ready to go out
He found his courage
There's certain characters
In all of mythology
That find their courage
like at the end of their life.
They have like one last stand
and then they go out and whatever.
It seems like he found that.
Like he's actually getting to know himself
through some hardship.
He needed some hardship.
And then his boy comes back
and they twinning.
They got the two-face.
The two-face is fucked up.
Dragon and Ryder all scarred,
wearing the scars of his foolish life.
But right now kind of living in truth.
It's so over for Rainier.
It's never been.
over for the character.
Then being like,
hey man,
a dragon came
blew us down
completely and utterly
annihilated our forces.
It was sunfire.
That means
Agon's alive,
which means everything
that you've been saying
for the last couple weeks
has been garbage.
We're not going to staff for that.
So if we,
talking about like the next episode,
so we have the blacks,
Reneira on her side right now
is down to what,
four dragons?
Are we calling it off
switched?
Offer Swift.
Yeah, Ulf is Swiss.
Hugh.
So we still count Hugh.
We still count Baylis.
Baylars.
We still count Adams.
Yeah.
We still count Caraxes, obviously.
We still count Syrax.
So that's still five against three.
Ormick.
Or four.
I mean, if Someday is still alive.
Then it's Ulf with, with, what's it called?
Silver Wing, off of Silver Wing.
Vagar, obviously, somewhere.
Tessarion, that's Daron's Dragon
And then we have Sunfire,
Agon's Dragon.
We see, we got to tell you.
Helena, Helena, Intervision.
Yeah, it was with Dreamfire,
but she don't like to fly Dreamfire anymore.
So it's four against five.
But the four aren't,
their forces aren't together.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yet, we don't know.
But it's four dragons.
It don't seem like Amon,
Amon and Aegean would have to.
They'd have to do a lot of hustling to get down to Tumbleton and Tomlton and
time.
And I think we found out that Amen's pretty nice, comfortable where he's at.
We don't know about Agon at this one.
He might be like, oh, snap, what's going on over there?
But who knows?
Yeah.
And there's still so much strife between all of them.
They're not in any way together.
Orman has sort of taken the lead as the lead green, and he has his own agenda.
It's no longer any type of civil war.
But this is almost worse for Renierra because...
Without a doubt, it's worse.
Where it's like, oh, you're fighting all.
a war on so many fronts,
where it's like even if all of them don't,
even if the opposing side,
all the greens are not together,
you take three dragons here,
a dragon there,
a dragon there at a certain point.
And your kingdom,
he's like, Ormond is like laughing by the end.
He's like, dog,
Kings Landing is fucking crumbling around, though.
One of the worst outcomes of a war
is to create a new enemy.
I mean, like, what, like,
you know,
you have an enemy in front of you.
I mean, it almost always happens.
But like, you,
you have an enemy in front of you,
you vanquish that enemy.
And a new enemy arises
because of something that you did wrong
or didn't see.
You know what I mean?
It's sort of a union,
Cold War, it's ISIS,
whatever you want to say.
You enter into a war,
then something else comes out of that.
And a lot of times,
its resolve is different.
It's makeup is different.
It's reacting to you at wartime.
And so there's little room for diplomacy
because it's seen the worst.
version of you. It takes a long time. So in that situation,
Ormond is not a new enemy, but he's not a Targaryen. He's not a part of this thing that
they started the whole thing over. A lot of that stuff is a lot of bodies built up. So he's
like worse than anything she could have imagined going up against when all of this started.
Tough for her. You said you wanted to talk about Helena. Helena. So we talked about a little
about her being a dreamer, right?
And we see it in this episode.
One of the last things we see from her is she's having a baby,
and then she's out with the chicken farm, right?
You know, doing her thing, raising chickens, about her thing, whatever.
And then ice and snow comes down.
I worry for my girl.
I think, like, we're talking like Death Flags in the last episode.
I think she's cooked because the, the,
dream of a song in Ice of Fire is like,
it's not the most secret thing in Westrose,
but you gotta know somebody to know somebody
to really know that, right?
And so, even with her being pregnant
and the kid maybe being a boy or whatever,
but if she's like, yo, I know about that song,
I was a Fire joint, you know.
Like, if she tells Rainier that she can't hack it,
you can't do it, the song, like,
the ice still comes, people still die.
You are not the rule.
you say you are, that might severing you're off
in a way. Like, I can't believe, man.
I think it's toast for our girl, fellas.
Tough. Tough. One episode left. One episode left.
One episode left. One episode left. One episode left. The show is cooking.
I'm loving it. I'm loving it.
20 piece?
I'm not having it. No, I used to do, I had a
I used to call it a power meal.
Power meal. What's a power meal? The Power meal was a number
four supersized with 20 piece McNugget.
Two apple pies. Power meal.
Two apple pies.
pies? All for me. Okay.
What was the number four back then?
It was a double quarter pounder meal.
Nice.
And the 20 nuggets, you just house them.
House them. You don't believe me asking anybody.
I'll believe.
I believe in my nuggets?
This was the power mill.
A number four supersized.
A double quarter pounder super size.
Yeah.
Right.
Okay.
Supersize. Supersized.
What's the drink?
What's the drink?
Could be orange.
Could be a Coke.
Could be a Sprite.
Yeah.
Okay.
depending on how I was feeling.
But 20-piece McNuggets, two apple pies.
Sometimes if I wanted to eat a little lighter,
I wouldn't eat the two-a-poh.
Right, right, health nut.
But this is the way the 20-piece-minnuggets
and the, bro, I could go, bro, back in the day.
Yeah.
Man, they used to go to Krispy Kreme and get two dozen.
My dad would write on one box van.
My family would share a dozen.
And then a dozen of the crispy creams would be for me.
I love it.
I love it.
My dad would right on the box van and he would say, son, once you've eaten all of these,
do not touch the donuts that are for the family.
Right.
That's the way he would do it.
Everything was two.
Two jugs of orange juice.
One for the family.
One for van.
Like everything.
So the way it would start is that my mother would take me to McDonald's
and then the 20 pieces of McNuggets would be for the rice.
at home because I'd be leaving football
or leaving basketball and leaving bad as I'd be hungry.
So the 20 pieces of nuggets, she was like, don't eat the burger
in the car because, you know,
the ketchup drips or whatever like that,
the nuggets you can eat in the car.
And so then when she started going to McDonald's,
even when I wasn't in the car, she started
getting the 20 nuggets and the meal
and I could house it. It wasn't no problem.
Man, being younger is so weird.
I would eat that shit and go right to sleep.
Now, if I eat
at six, I have to go to
sleep at 9.30 or 10 o'clock.
Like, I can't do it. I will not
sleep if I eat too close to it. But I used to
just house that shit going crazy. What's your own McDonald's order?
What was yours?
I'm bushy. I don't have no fucking McDonald's
order. I mean, currently? I don't got no McDonald's.
You want to McDonald's today? What?
You still go to McDonald's? If somebody
orders McDonald's, yeah.
Oh, shit, okay? Shut out.
McDonald's only, like, would only
in college be my, like, I'm fucked
up right now. There's nothing. I'll
just do a quarter pounder. Just like a
medium fry.
I was fucking with it for a while.
Quarter pounder two McDonald's.
Okay, quarter pounder two middles.
I only, it's literally I have not ordered McDonald's in the last like six, six years
if I'm not drunk coming home from a night out.
Right.
McDonald's did change though.
I will say.
Yeah, yeah.
It was hitting now.
The McDonald's on my day was fucking good.
Remember the food now?
I've had it.
Like, once a year I'll have McDonald's.
I'm like, this is much.
Nah.
It's definitely double quarter pounder.
10 piece of nugget, large fries
of the dot-go
Okay, so you're always there
Yeah
You're almost there at the power mill situation, man
The apple pies were
You never wake up hung over after that
You all didn't do the Mcbang?
What was that?
Oh, in high school you had a McGang bang
When it was actually a dollar
You get the crispy chicken
And the double the double cheese
You pull up the whole dollar menu
Brother you eat back of the day
In 2014
The dollar menu was there
You could get a dollar menu was insane back then
You get a large drink for a dollar.
Large fries for like one something.
The McGang Bang.
You'll be eating good.
You know what crowded out McDonald's to me is the better quality of fast food burger.
Yeah.
Because like, in and out to the world, the five guys.
Whoa, whoa, five guys.
I didn't know you was rich like that, my boy.
Am I phone?
I haven't eaten in a long time.
When five guys first hit our neighborhood, it was crazy.
Everybody was going crazy.
Also, you want to know what before they started giving everybody, everybody the sickness?
Start with Chipotle hit in high school.
Bro.
I have to be real.
Chipotle was some insanity.
I have to be real.
So when I left Louisiana Day, then I have Chipotle.
Right.
So I come out to L.A.
And it's a Chipotle.
The first Chipotle I've ever eaten that.
It's a Chipotle that used to be.
I don't know if it's still there.
It was like at the grove, but like outside of the grove.
Okay.
So you drive through the grove.
You know that side on the left where they're like the pottery barn is and stuff like that.
Ant Farm used to be over there.
and there used to be a Chipotle over there.
I remember my roommate Dan was like, yeah, shout out then.
It was like, I'm going to Chipotle.
And he was like, yeah, he's like, do you want anything?
I was like, what is Chipotle?
He goes, oh, it's the burrito place.
I'm like, okay, well, give me a burrito.
It's like, give me a burrito for Chipotle.
He comes home and I eat the Chipotle burrito.
I go, man, what the fuck is this?
And he was like, it's good, right?
I'm like, this rice tastes like, like,
Lemony.
Lemony the sabote.
He was like, yeah, he was like, and I started going crazy of Chipotle.
The Chipotle then is different than the Chipotle.
No, the first one of the first of the Chipotle we got, I was like.
Bro, $7.99 for the burrito or the bagel.
At high school, all the friends were, we was all going to Chipotle.
And they were stingy about the protein.
Like, you ask for a second scoop and they can give it to you.
You go there, you get the bowl, the rice, the whole thing, the chips.
and the guac, Chipotle was holding a nigger down.
Now sometimes I just eat it for the nostalgia, but it's not the same.
It got stepped on.
It got, because then also there all this shit started popping up because I would like go
off vacation.
I'm like, hey, what's this Cadova situation?
This is not really Chipotle was, man.
I like Cudoba.
I'll tell you what, Kava though.
Cava's like, took all the chari corners.
Yeah, low key, not bad either.
Took all the Chiple's corner.
I'll tell you something, though.
You know what's still good?
is maintained even though it's gotten popular.
Chick-fil-A.
Oh, Chick-fil-Lay never laid.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then the last one, I'll say,
dog, when we got the first Shake Shack.
Hell.
I love Shakeshack.
In and out all the way, baby.
All right, that's an L.A. shit.
We still got to hit Century City one of these days and get the movie and
shake-shack combo.
We have to.
We didn't do that before.
We didn't.
We said we were going to.
We didn't do it.
