Starting point is 00:00:46 Today we'll be praying with the fourth and the fifth luminous mysteries, the transfiguration, and the institution of the Most Holy Eucharist. So this is day five of this focused time of prayer in which we're really practicing on developing the habit of praying with the words of the prayers. So as we're praying the Hail Mary,
Starting point is 00:01:07 we can pay attention to the final sort of request of Mary that she prays for us. We reminded that this world is passing, that we're made for heaven, that on this journey, right, like Mary is a mother to us and she is praying for us and advocating for us. And on this journey,
Starting point is 00:01:25 we have the best of advocates and queens and mothers praying for us, particularly for the salvation of our souls. So we're going to continue with that today, beginning by just asking for the Holy Spirit, who again is the primary mover and animator of our prayer. So we can begin in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Starting point is 00:01:52 The fourth luminous mystery is the transfiguration. Our Father, who art in heaven, Howlough be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy. All right, and so again, before we begin, the second mystery of the day, we take a deep breath, invoke the power of the Holy Spirit, become recollected again, and we continue. The fifth, luminous mystery, is the institution of the Eucharist.
