The Rosary in a Year (with Fr. Mark-Mary Ames) - Day 228: Lifted Up With Mary
Episode Date: August 16, 2025We entrust our intentions, someone else’s need or a situation outside of ourselves, to Our Lady. Fr. Mark-Mary guides us to imagine her with us at home, in your car, or wherever you are, receiving y...our intention with maternal tenderness. We pray our decades of the Rosary focused on sharing the needs of our heart and those we’re interceding for with Mary. Today’s focus is the mysteries of the Assumption and the Coronation of Mary, and we will be praying two decades of the Rosary. For the complete prayer plan, visit https://ascensionpress.com/riy.

I'm Father Mark Mary with Franciscan Friars of Renewal, and this is the Rosary in a Year podcast.
We're through prayer and meditation.
The rosary brings us deeper into relationship with Jesus and Mary and becomes a source of grace for the whole world.
The Rosary in a Year is brought to you by Ascension.
This is Day 228.

and it's a great way to track your progress.
The best place to listen to the podcast is in the Ascension app.
There's special features built just for this podcast
and also recording to the full rosary with myself and other friars.
I encourage you to pick up a copy of the Rosary in the Year prayer guide,

You'll find all the daily readings for scripture,
St. Reflections, and beautiful images of the sacred art
will be reflecting on.
Today we'll be praying with the fourth and the fifth glorious mysteries, the assumption, and the coronation of Mary's queen of heaven and earth.
This will be the fifth episode of that five-part series, praying with intentions.
And so we're going to bring our intentions to our lady today.
The intentions for today are going to be something outside of us, another person or situation.
And so I'm going to ask you just to take a moment, take time to imagine yourself with her.
you could be back in the home where she was with St. John, you can have her being right next to you
with you again in your home, in your car, in your office.
And just experience her love, her care, her maternal love, her maternal care for whatever
the situation is.
And let us pray in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy See, and of the Holy
spirit amen the fourth glorious mystery is the assumption our father who art in heaven hallow be thy name thy kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses
