Hey everybody. So you've made it. You've made it to phase six, the final phase of our
rosary in a year journey. And I, as I'm going out and about and meeting folks who are doing
rosary in a year, I've been really particularly moved, especially kind of in phases four and five
to hearing people who are saying, hey, Father, you know, you're the first thing I'm doing
the morning waking up and praying with you or Father, last thing I'm doing at night is, you know,
praying with you. And I love because right, you know, this last phase, it's really just been
praying together.
And we're going to make two slight adjustments as we go into phase six,
which are going to break from the pattern that's been established previously.
And the first is this is, while I'm grateful and moved by those who have been praying with me through this last phase,
there's also been just some encouragement and feedback that folks were missing some of the little meditations.
And so we're going to add just a kind of little sentence or two with each of the mysteries
to help encourage and offer a direction for our meditation during the different mysteries.
Instead of moving through the pattern of the mysteries from joyful, luminous, sorrowful, glories back to joyful and kind of going through that,
we're going to kind of move to the current sort of traditional format of praying the joyful mysteries on Mondays and Saturdays,
the sorrowful mysteries on Tuesdays and Fridays, the luminous mysteries on Thursdays, and then the glorious mysteries on Wednesdays and Sundays.
And so we've lined up, you know, the days with the day of the week.
scheduled to come out and we're going to pick and pray the mysteries which correspond to that
day of the week. The last adjustment is that now we're moving from praying five decades to
praying the whole rosary with the opening and the closing prayers of the rosary. So let us begin
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I believe in God the Father
Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His God, His God. His God. His God. His
only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered
under Pontchus Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to hell. On the third
day he rose again from the dead, and he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right
hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness
of sins, the resurrection of the body, and a life everlasting.
amen for our holy father's health and intentions our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen for an increase in the theological verse

the sorrowful mysteries the first sorrowful mystery is the agony in the garden as we pray this
decade we can meditate on jesus's prayer in the garden even in this moment of stress and of
great sorrow right he stays in dialogue with the father beginning his prayer again and again and again
my father, my father, my father.
Let us ask for the grace to stay in this dialogue with the Father.
Throughout the agonies we may encounter.
Our Father, who art in heaven, howlode be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen. Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need
of thy mercy. The second sorrowful mystery is the scourging.
at the pillar.
Let us call to mind St. Faustina's vision of the scourgion of our Lord,
where Jesus asked her to be the one who mourns for him.
In this decade, let us lean into that,
bearing witness to our Lord's pain and telling him how grateful we are for his love for us.
As we pray today, let us be the one who receives the gift, who remained with him,
with love, as he is scourged for our sins.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallow be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end amen oh my jesus forgive us our sins save us
from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of thy mercy
the third sorrow of mystery is the crowning with thorns
let's call to mind our reflection on titian's painting christ crowned with thorns
and witness a new Christ's suffering
as he is crowned under the unaffected
gaze of a statue of Caesar.
Are we rendering to God was God's
and to Caesar what is Caesar's?
Can we move to ask what Jesus is asking of us today
and how we can give homage and adoration
and crown our king
with love and affection and obedience today?
instead of the thorns of sin and selfishness and apathy our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen

as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end amen oh my jesus forgive us our sins save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of thy mercy
the fourth sorrowful mystery is the carrying of the cross as jesus carried his cross the gospel tells us that a man named simon was compelled to carry jesus
cross. In that moment, Simon was given a decision. He was going to have to carry the cross.
But was he going to just do it constantly, exclusively with resentment, with the door closed to this
potentially bearing any fruit in his life? Or would he receive it with a certain openness, a certain
surrender? And for us, a certain knowledge that, through grace, this can bring us into intimate
contact with Jesus. Today is we take up our cross, or as the
the world throws many crosses upon us,
can we ask for the grace of the Holy Spirit
to be open to God using these crosses
and be open to them being means
in bringing us even more intimately
into contact with our Lord.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
howlode be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen

especially those in most need of thy mercy.
The fifth sorrowful mystery is the crucifixion.
Let's take a moment and call to mind.
Jesus' words on the cross citing Psalm 22,
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Recognizing, as Pope Benedict the 16th, points out,
that Jesus is bringing the cry of every suffering person
to the Father.
He takes all of our anguish, all of our suffering,
all of our experience of a silence from God
upon himself.
And he makes this cry to the Father,
but also with the absolute and certain confidence
that he is heard by God.
Whatever struggles are suffering,
you may be facing right now let's find consolation and hope in christ's cry to the father that we know
a certainty that god sees us and that he hears us as jesus died to save us our father who art in heaven
hallow be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us
this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell,
and lead all souls to heaven,
especially those in most need of thy mercy.
Hail holy queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy, towards us.
And after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, o loving, o sweet virtue,
Mary, pray for us, Most Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray, O God, who's only begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection has purchased
for us the rewards of eternal life.
Grant, we beseech thee that meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise through the same
Christ, our Lord.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
All right, thanks everyone for joining me and praying with me today.
I look forward to continuing this journey with you again tomorrow.
Poco, poca, poca, friends.
God bless y'all.
