Mark-Mary invites us to rediscover our identity as the Father’s beloved children in the light of Jesus’ Baptism. At the Wedding at Can...a, we reflect on Mary’s courageous willingness to offer her Son for the sake of God’s plan and the good of the world. Today we will be praying the luminous mysteries.
Let us begin in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who's conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary.
Suffered under Pontch's Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to hell. On the third day, he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the wrong.
right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness
of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. For Holy Father's health and
intentions, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trust
passes as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us
from evil amen for an increase in the theological virtues of faith hope and charity hail

Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
The first luminous mystery is the baptism of Jesus.
The gospel narratives of our Lord's baptism aren't just a retelling of a particular, like historical event.
in a sense they're windows and they're windows that give us an insight into a reality that's true
for jesus the son but it's also true for all of those who have been baptized and what do we see
when we look through this window like we see the heavens part of the spirit descending and we can hear
the father's words you are my beloved son in whom i am well pleased and my brothers and sisters
through the grace of our baptism, we too are his beloved children. And in the sun, we too become
pleasing to the Father. As we pray this decade, let us keep our eyes looking through that window
and see the Father looking at you. May you hear again these words spoken to you. You are my beloved
son, you are my beloved daughter, in whom I am well pleased. Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy kingdom come, thy will.
will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver
us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us. Pray for us.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven,
especially those in most need of thy mercy.
The second luminous mystery is the wedding at Cana.
During the wedding at Cana, Mary knows what she's asking when she brings the fact that they're out of wine to Jesus.
She's inviting him to work a miracle and to begin his public ministry.
And I do believe that she knows where this is going to go, that first of all, he's going to be given to the world.
And there's going to be a change in their own relationship, but also that this leads to the cross.
And yet Mary initiates this, and I think we can hear in this action, these words, no one takes my son from me.
I give him up freely.
I give him to the father, and I give him for you, so that he may do what he came to do.
revealing the Father and dying for our sins.
Today, let's go ahead and take a moment to pray
and see if there's a way we can live like Mary.
Can we initiate a sacrifice for love of the Father,
love of the Son, and love of our brothers and sisters,
especially those amongst us in greatest need?
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallow be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil, amen.
Hail Mary full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God.
Pray for us, sinner.
Now and at the hour of our death, amen.

Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell,
and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.
The third luminous mystery is the proclamation of the kingdom and the call to conversion.
My brothers and sisters, the time is now the kingdom of God is at hand.
God is here, right?
And he desires to lead you, to shepherd you.
Like we've said before, the proclamation of the kingdom of God reveals to us that the shepherd is shepherding,
the king is reigning, the Savior saving, the healers, healing, the teachers teaching God is Goding.
But we have to let them. We have to say yes. Is there a way in which the kingdom of God
desires to be proclaimed in your life anew at this moment? Can we open our minds and our hearts
to him and say yes to his invitation? Our Father, who art in heaven, how low,
be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation

O my Jesus forgive us our sins save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven especially those in most needs
of thy mercy.
The fourth luminous mystery is the Transfiguration.
We've seen the Transfiguration Jesus taking Peter, James, and John up the mountain away.
And it's there he reveals himself, reveals his glory.
And as I've shared, I've always read this as sort of like an insight into where, like,
theophany happens, where Jesus' most profound revelation of himself happens.
It's on a mountaintop, which is away, like away from so many destruction.
so many of the comforts.
It's like on the mountain how when you're away from all of the artificial light,
you can truly see the stars in a way which causes wonder and awe.
And so today as we meditate upon the fourth luminous mystery,
let us ask for the grace to be filled with a desire
for a greater revelation and experience of God's glory in our lives
and a generous, even sacrificial spirit, if you will,
to take a greater step, another step away from so many of those countless things,
particularly like so many of those like distractions and things that might be making it hard for
us to see the Lord in his glory.
Can we ask for the grace to take another step up the mountain with Jesus today?
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallow it be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us
and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen

of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.
The fifth of Luminous Mystery is the institution of the Eucharist.
In Luke chapter 22, verse 15, we hear Jesus speak these words.
I've earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you.
And these words aren't just for the apostles seated around the table there during the time of the last supper.
But each of us, you and I, like Jesus earnestly desires communion with us.
He earnestly desires to share his body.
body, blood, soul, and divinity with us through the sacraments of the Most Holy Eucharist.
The heart of Jesus is a heart which burns with desire and longing and love.
Let us contemplate the heart of Jesus that earnestly desires communion and union with us.
And may we ask for a greater longing, a greater yearning, a greater burning to be united with Jesus,
particularly through a devout and prayerful reception of Most Holy Communion.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallow be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

especially those in most need of thy mercy.
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then most gracious advocate, then eyes of mercy towards us,
and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary,
pray for us, most holy mother of God,
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray,
O God, who's only begotten Son, by his life,
death, and resurrection has purchased for us
the rewards of eternal life.
Grant, we beseech thee that meditating upon
these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary
of the Blessed Virgin Mary,
we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise
through the same Christ, our Lord.
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son,
the Holy Spirit. Amen. All right. Thanks everyone for joining me and praying with me today.
I look forward to continuing this journey with you again tomorrow. Poca, poca, poca, poca,
