Episode Date: December 29, 2025As we come together to pray the Joyful Mysteries, Fr. Mark-Mary calls us to place our lives before the Lord with the same trust and openness shown by Mary. We are encouraged to persevere in prayer, to seek Jesus with renewed desire, and to allow Him to gather our scattered hearts into a deeper love for the Father. The first joyful mystery is the annunciation.
As we pray this first of the joyful mysteries, let us ask for Mary's prayers,
that we may echo her fiat, her yes, or be it done unto me according to your word,
her act of trust, and total receptivity to the Father and His will.
We bring to the Lord those places that we have experienced a, yeah, a poverty.
poverty, a death, even a barrenness, through our own efforts.
We bring these to the Lord, asking that he sends His Holy Spirit to these parts of our lives
of our hearts, that the Holy Spirit will overshadow us and bring life here as the Holy Spirit
overshadowed our lady.
And may we experience in our own lives here that nothing is impossible for.
for God.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, amen.

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy.
the third joyful mystery is the nativity
can we observe
the love
the attention
the care
with which Mary receives
the baby Jesus
and holds him
in the nativity
the attention
the devotion
the care she wraps him in swaddling
clothes
enlates him in the manger.
And I love this idea of seeing this humble manger
as the very first monstrance.
Now let's take hope that surely if God incarnate humbled himself
to be laid in a manger,
he will not hesitate to enter the manger of our own hearts.
Like in a sense, our hearts are not worthy,
but they are all we have to offer.
And Jesus in the Nativity,
he reveals that he is not afraid.
To come close and to find rest
in humble places,
in humble mangers,
in humble hearts.
Our father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

World without end, amen.
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins.
save us from the fires of hell
and lead all souls to heaven
especially those in most
need of thy mercy
the fourth
joyful mystery is the presentation of Jesus
in the temple
the gospel
describes Simeon as a man who is
righteous and devout
he's a man with a truly
pure and undivided heart
who is searching for God
first and foremost
this devotion
this undivided heart, this purity of heart.
It defines him.
And it can be an invitation for us to reflect on our own hearts.
Do we have divided hearts?
Do we have scattered hearts?
Fragile hearts?
Easily discouraged hearts.
If that's what we got, that's what we bring to the Lord.
But we ask for the grace, right?
And it's this thing of like, it's okay if you're not okay,
but it's okay if you want to be okay if your heart right now is scattered and very divided and
fractured and very sort of fragile quick to discouragement and to giving up okay but also we come
to the lord here today asking for the grace to have hearts more like simeon's hearts that can
persevere that can cry out to the lord day and nights that are focused that are resilient
that are pure, that are undivided.
Jesus give us hearts like Simeon,
but most importantly, Jesus,
give us hearts like yours.
You, Lord, had the purest of hearts.
You had the most undivided of hearts.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart,
make our hearts like unto thine.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil amen
hail mary full of grace the lord is with thee blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb jesus holy mary

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary, Mother of God

Now and at the hour of our death

The Lord is with thee

And blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus

Now and at the hour of our death

Now and at the hour of our death, amen.

as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end, amen.
Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven,
especially those in most need of thy mercy.
The fifth, joyful mystery is the finding of Jesus in the temple.
We're going to build a little bit on, kind of maintain the theme of our last mystery.
What does Jesus say?
Like, Jesus in the temple, 12-year-old Jesus says this, like, I need to be in my father's house,
and he's about his father's business.
Are we, you know, again, kind of like consistent with that theme of undivided hearts,
are we about the father's business?
Can we seek to do the Father's will in all things, as Jesus did?
As we pray, like, let us bring to the Lord this desire for renewed desire.
Ask him for a new sort of burning with desire for his will.
May we seek him and his well.
all things, as Jesus always did.
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallow be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil, amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God.
Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen.
