Welcome to another podcast of Science of Flipping.
I'm your host, Justin Colby, and I welcome you guys today.
For those who are your first-time viewers or listeners, I'm here at our home office
at Phoenix Wealth Builders.
Actually, this is my first time using Google Hangouts.
I know this is going to end up going live on YouTube
and you're going to be able to see me and watch me.
So welcome to all of you who are going to be watching me live.
Today is actually a Sunday and I'm in the office
and we have a lot of work going on.
We have a lot of deal flow here in Phoenix
and we're very excited about that.
We've really upped our marketing and really gone
after a large amount of deals this year. So very excited. I figured today was a Sunday.
And the main reason why I felt the need to give you this podcast is for all of my dedicated
listeners. I know this podcast is all about striving to create a fix and flip business so that
you no longer have to be swinging the hammer, so to speak.
You no longer have to be doing all the work yourself, so that a lot of the work you can
do from the comfort of your own couch or while you're on vacation and building the systems
in your business so that when you're up and rockin' and rollin' and you're doing 5, 10, 15, 20 deals a year,
you don't feel like you're doing it all yourself.
So today's podcast really hit me today because I went to church this morning
and I heard a message that was really profound regarding life.
And I took that and I actually thought, you know,
this would be great for my listeners to hear. And the message very simply is, it's a process
that happens over time and you have to keep working at it. Now, obviously, that was in a certain
realm in church that we're speaking about, but really
I brought that into our business life and here for the Science of Flipping, I wanted
to give that idea to you guys around business.
You see, Eddie and I, my business partner, we didn't always start out or we didn't start
out as successful as we are today. We knew as long as we hang in there and had our determination and we decided to keep driving
forward and never giving up, our success would come.
I really believe that for all of you out there who maybe have had a certain amount of success
or maybe for you that have just started, always have in your mind that this is going
to be a process.
It took us nine months to get our first deal done and now we're doing nine deals a month.
So the difference is obviously seven years of work but also we understood it was going
to be a process over time and we had to keep
working at it.
And our success has grown each and every year.
So understand, if you're just out there, just getting started and you want to be flipping
two to five homes this year and you haven't got your first deal, don't worry, you will.
If you're flipping 10 homes and you want to figure out how to get to 20 homes a year,
you're going to get there as want to figure out how to get to 20 homes a year, you're going
to get there as well because it's just a process. Now, a lot of people have been emailing me
a lot of different questions, and I'm happy to answer all those questions. In fact,

because too often do I see a bunch of my students
who give up after a year.
We got two deals done in our first year, two.
I think we made 14 or 15 grand total.
Don't give up.
