shown for 2021 and it is going to be a game changer, but I will caution you right now that it may not be the right thing for you.

let's talk about the number one disruptor that has already shown its big head in the first couple
days of 2021, and that is the application Clubhouse. That's right. Clubhouse is an application,
not just about real estate. It's, you know, essentially a social media platform,
but I can tell you it is going to be a disruptor. And the reason why is essentially it is access to
all of the people that you want access to on one single app.
I spent over 16 hours on it this New Year's weekend talking with other experts in this space.
You name the name, they were on a clubhouse with me.
Essentially, it was like a live event, except for it was on an app,
which allowed you, the listener, to absolutely engage. The
difference between this podcast is I'm recording this and talking to you. Well, on this app,
Clubhouse, you are able to talk to me and ask me those questions. So if you are interested about
joining Clubhouse, make sure to follow me. Make sure to go and find the Justin Colby and give me a follow because then you will see
everywhere I go, every room I'm at, everywhere I'm speaking. So you'll want to do that for sure.
Again, Clubhouse is the application. I do believe you need to be admitted into it.
But here is my big cautionary tale regarding this. As I just mentioned to you, I spent roughly 16 hours on this And in fact, as I take a look back at it,
I'm not sure if it was the right time, the right use of my time. And this is my cautionary tale
is if you're out there constantly learning or trying to be on social media or, you know,
not doing, then you're never going to get your first deal done. You're never going to be able
to scale. You're never going to be able to learn the lessons that you need to learn.
The reality is this, the best lessons learned is by doing. Now, as a coach, obviously,
I am adamant about others being coached. But when I talk about the amount of time that I spent on
Clubhouse and what I know others are spending, I don't know that the value will be
there. In fact, I think it will hurt more people than it will help because it is time consuming,
drastically time consuming. Like, as I mentioned, 16 hours of my weekend I spent on this app.
Now, are there benefits? Absolutely. Are you able to engage with the likes of me
and whether it's Cody Sperber or Brent Daniels
or Kent Clothier or Tom Kroll,
or you name the name,
are you able to engage and partake?
Absolutely.
But does that limit you going out and doing?
That is the caution.
If that stops you from going out
and doing the actions that actually generate revenue,
get more deals done, send more marketing out, right?
Scaling your business, then it's actually hurting you more than it's helping you.
With that said, time will tell where this application goes.
It definitely has staying power.
There are millions of people on there currently.
I do believe it is
growing by the day, by the minute, but how is this going to be a beneficial resource for the masses?
How is it going to help you get another deal? How's it going to help you get your first deal?
Because if you're spending all your time on there engaging, talking, asking questions,
it just means you're not going out there and doing.
So with that said, it's been already has been a major disruptor. It's a major disruptor within
the education space because now there's access to high level people like myself and all the other
great names that I just mentioned. So now you have access to us, but to what extent is everything
going to be delivered that you need to go out there and take action?
I just don't know. I do my very best to give, as you guys know, actual strategic, you know, executable actions for you to go out there and take.
And I would caution you about this application. It's already been a big disruptor.
And again, if you're going to do it,
because I'm sure everyone in the world is, make sure you're following me, but limit your time.
You know, if you spend any amount of time every day, make it a small amount of time every day.
In fact, I would tend to say, try to use your weekends for this application, because
honestly, it is a time sucker. My verdict is not made yet,
whether it's a benefit or not a benefit or harmful,
but I'd love some feedback on there.
