Starting point is 00:00:00 We interrupt this program. Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish. They are not part of the legitimate business world. What they do is they celebrate underachievement. And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil. And if I could find some way constitutionally to do away with it, I would. Miss Happy Wednesday! Hey, what's up hottest?
Starting point is 00:00:42 What's up, hottie, two hottest. How do you a dude? What's up hot bodice? You want a hot body? Ahoy, hoi. How do you do? Oh. September 2nd, 226 year of our Lord.
Starting point is 00:00:57 And tonight's the night rumble at the Red House. Hey, yo. It's going to be a heck of a wrestling show down at the Red House tonight, which is not Kitty Corner from our studios, as I thought it was, all of this time. No, they got a new look. Right down. Because I made that mistake a long time ago, but I wasn't, I wasn't positive because I'm never positive. I knew it was other things now.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Like there's studios and animation something over there, but I thought it was still the Red House. It is not. Red House is. South Salina. So if you're heading out there, don't go to the old spot, go to the new spot. We'll be out there. We'll be seeing. I want to watch the show, see what's going on.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Yep, pretty excited. You can pregame a little Wilson Phillips today. Oh, hold on. Oh, all about that instead. Priscilla Block? You would like Priscilla Block. Hey, yo. She's thick like oatmeal.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Yeah? Oh, yeah. Look up Priscilla Block. You'll see. And. And then Tori Kelly. I don't know Tori Kelly, but I know people like her. Hello.
Starting point is 00:01:54 Women I'll never get to talk to. Nobody. No, no, no. Oh, wait, that's... Are you looking at Priscilla Block? Yes, but I did Priscilla instead and I was like... Priscilla also? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Party? Priscilla Block? You're looking at her? Yeah. She likes to wear those short shorts. That's what I'm looking at. Let that thigh mean, not let them butt cheeks dance. That's kind of her gimmick.
Starting point is 00:02:16 Big thighs are where it's at. Yeah, dude. So busy to do music over at the fair today. And then tonight come out to see a wrestling show. Doors at six, wrestling starts at seven. Tickets still available, flex wrestling. Live. Flex wrestling.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Live. How was everyone's Tuesday? I'm going good yesterday or anything going on? On eventful? I mean, a bunch of regular. you know, the things that we do throughout the day. And then I passed on on the couch. Wicked early.
Starting point is 00:02:45 One of those where you wake up and you're like, okay, let's just go to bed. Nice. Because it was already at that point, you know what I mean? There's nothing you can do. There's no other option. But go to back. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:02:58 It's not like, well, let's watch another. We'll just watch like half an hour TV or maybe I'll have a little snack. No, man, it's a quarter past 11 or whatever it was. Geez, burrow. On the couch, according to my watch, I got my high. highest score ever for sleep last night. I got a 96.
Starting point is 00:03:13 No. I don't think I've ever got a 96 sleep score before. Stupid ass, toss and turn. Really? All night? All night. All night. All night.
Starting point is 00:03:21 I assume just the excited anxiety of today. Of today. Yeah. It was the only time I, that was the most nervous. I heard someone had ever been last time. Remember the backstage? What are you talking about? From when some, I heard from one of the dogs.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Oh, they were, that. Remember that last year backstage? That person was very nervous. He said that was the. Oh my goodness, I didn't know. Yeah, so. I'm just, I'm excited. It's a big day, big day today. Now, I was out by 9.30.
Starting point is 00:03:48 And then apparently stayed out all night because I got a 96 on my watch. Yeah, that's awesome. I was definitely out by 930. Yeah, just on the couch watching something. But it was much time before that. What sports were on last night? Anything important? I watched a couple months of a baseball game, but then some Nxte was on.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Oh, okay. Well, NXT was trying to, now that all this. Wrestling is like reset for the summer. I'm trying to see if I can stay caught up because it's hard to stay caught up. Yeah, you got a lot of storylines. Mm-hmm. Cetus says I've gotten a hundred a bunch of times. Oh, nice.
Starting point is 00:04:23 Is that the best? Hundreds are a hundred out of a hundred is the score. Nice. Your watch will tell you the next morning like, congratulations. Good job getting to bed on time. You got a blah. It'll give you all the notes. I like that too.
Starting point is 00:04:33 It'll give you all the notes. You did not have many disturbances last night. Will it tell you if you get like a 10 will be like, hey. Dude, yeah. I'd be like, why'd you go to bed so later? You woke up a lot overnight. What's going on? Does it start if you are up late?
Starting point is 00:04:49 Well, it'll be like, hey, you usually go to bed. It's already past midnight. It'll say some things. Like when we were on vacation, I was getting a lot of real deep sleep. Just because I was getting that hotel sleep where it's zero degrees and you're wrapped in the thickest comforter ever. Yep. And your watch is like, whoa, bro. My watch was confused for two reasons.
Starting point is 00:05:10 I was moving way more than I usually do. It's like, you're walking a lot more. Oh, I'm sorry. Oh, my bed. And then it's like, you're getting great sleep. So my watch is very happy. And then I got back to life and it's like, oh, that's the Josh we remember. There we go.
Starting point is 00:05:24 We found you. There he is. Some of you getting some real low scores. I'm sorry. Just go to bed. Yeah, I don't have that on my phone. I have the thing that if it's on me, it'll track my steps. Yeah, we got you that, but that's about it.
Starting point is 00:05:37 I don't know why I keep such close eye on things like it matters. Well, it's good to know. What are you going to do? Because it's good sleep or bad sleep start a lot of problems or solve a lot of problems. I love sleep. I love tracking my sleep and seeing how I'm doing with it. I hate it. Yeah, because you don't do a good.
Starting point is 00:05:52 No, I don't do good sleep. I'm really good at sleep. I'm terrible at sleep. I hate to say that because my wife is not. And then it's like I'm bragging. Yeah. But is I'm really good at it. I'm bad at sleep.
Starting point is 00:06:02 I'm worse at naps. Yeah. My sleep game ain't toy. Not at all. My nap game has been off for like a year or two. I haven't been napping. I don't nap anymore. I just,
Starting point is 00:06:12 I wish I could. Just up and I go. I wish I could. I can't. For the people that can do like those power naps, they're like, just give me like an hour. I'm good.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Nope. I got to take like half a night's sleep. Yeah, you do. And even then when I wake up, my body is like. It's 1115 on the couch in here. Right? Where my body's like, no, we're going to go back to sleep. And I'm like, no, you're not.
Starting point is 00:06:32 It's two in the afternoon. Should go ahead and wake up, nah. And it's those mornings where it's still dark out right now. It's 6.10. And it was easily the foggiest I'd ever driven in up by me. Yeah. Coming down off that hill. That was by far the thickest fog I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:06:49 If I didn't know where the road in which way it went. Priscilla block fog, man. Priscilla block flog. Yeah. Fog. About to sneeze. Oh, yeah. Get it.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Storm's coming through today. We're keeping an eye on those. A couple of them, right? This evening. I guess like there might be some early lunchtime, but then like the nasty ones are coming through this. evening. Yep.
Starting point is 00:07:06 So if you are coming to the wrestling show or head to the fair, bring an umbrella, bring a poncho. Looks like it'll be while we're inside, so it doesn't matter. Yeah, it's this muggyness that's going to start breaking up. So I, like walking through soup, yeah. I knew it was going to happen. What? With how muggy it's been. I'm like, well, we're going to get some storm.
Starting point is 00:07:24 All you need is one cold front. It hasn't been hot. No. But I've had to turn on my AC because it's been so humid. Like, I couldn't be in my house because it was, like, gross. Things in my house were wet. Yes. It's gross. I was walking around with a towel and I'm like, don't you, you're going to get a old mold on you now.
Starting point is 00:07:40 I didn't need the AC for heat. I needed it just to get the moisture out of the house yesterday. Hot soup. Hot soup coming through. Hot soup. Hot soup outside. Look out. Watch out.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Hot soup. Breaking that humidity. Hot soup. Ahoy, hoi. Happy Wednesday. No whiskey show tonight. We're going to go watch a wrestling show. Heck yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:58 Over at the Red House. No whiskey show tonight. But I'll be back next week. It's a bummer because I thought I was getting ahead of time. And I bought this S-U-themed bar to myself. And I bought this S-themed bottle of whiskey. And I'm like, that'll be good for the first week of SU. And then I forgot I got the wrestling show tonight. So it's all right.
Starting point is 00:08:12 It's okay because you can have it to celebrate their first victory leading into like their first real task next week against Cal. Heck yeah. That's a good. That's a good spit on it. Thanks, bud. That's what's up. Pink sky right now, guys. If you're in Central York looking out, get ready. Sailors take warn. And I do they, I think they should take Warren because right over Lake Ontario right now, they've got these nasty thunder and lightning. Oh, really? Oh, my God. If they show the Doppler on
Starting point is 00:08:43 TV, you'll see it's headed this way. The first time I ever saw the water spouts there. And I'm sorry, Fuzz, Lake America. How dare. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. That was like the most terrifying thing ever. Just looking out across the lake. I didn't know. I'm like, um,
Starting point is 00:09:02 guys. Yeah. Do we need to, do we need to Do we need to evacuate? Do we need to get in the basement? That's probably what, like, Nick and Nebraska see all the time in Nebraska because it's flat. Like, we're not used to seeing our weather because we've got hills, we've got mountains, we've got buildings. But when you just look across a lake, whatever it's named, you just see the weather coming. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:22 It used to be so much fun because we were on the fifth floor of Seneca, and we faced the lake. So, like, it was right out of our window basically looked like our front area. was the lake, it was wicked cool to watch. Yeah. So that's headed this way. Sam Postich on the TV said they could break up. They're keeping an eye on them. So much like your girlfriends, they're going to break up.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Ha ha, ha. I burned you. I don't know who I burned, but somebody's very sad right now. But right now, headed over to the lake is gnarly. Just be careful all day. Is gnarly. And yeah, Lottie to the chat. MapQuest is the top downloaded app in the Apple store right now
Starting point is 00:10:01 because they kept the name Lake Ontario. Yep. Look at MapQuest coming back. Who knew they were even out there still? Yep. I didn't even know they were in the game. And Ways are out there still. They kept Lake Ontario.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Yep. But yeah, MapQuest. They just were Biden in the time. To number one navigation after refusing to rename Lake Ontario. MapQuest just sat back for 20 years. Yep. They're like, hey, hey. Oh.
Starting point is 00:10:26 No, go enjoy your GPS. Oh, no, have fun. Don't enjoy your GPS. No, we will be here pretending like you never needed us for every source. single trip you ever took. No, no, no, no. You go get your garment. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:10:39 You didn't print out map quest directions for every trip you had taken college, did you? No, no, no, no. I didn't realize that it was literally hell to read these directions backwards to go home. And this whole time has spent just two people in an office just waiting. Yeah. Just waiting. Doing like door dash and stuff. They're just sitting there waiting.
Starting point is 00:11:00 All of a sudden they come back and the lights on. And they're like, wait, did you, did you do that? No, no, guys, guys, oh my God, we got a hit. And they didn't change the name because they didn't have the staff to do it. It wasn't a act of protest at all. They don't have the password. They don't have the password. It's a MapQuest.
Starting point is 00:11:18 They call on MapQuest the same way we do. The phone rings, the phone rings in the MapQuest office. It's just two people. One person picks it up. Hello. Hey, this is CBS News. We noticed that you're refusing to change Lake Ontario to Lake. Lake America. What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:11:35 We notice that you won't change the late name after the president renamed it. Yeah, do you have the password? What am I supposed to do? You're holding strong by keeping it Lake Ontario. Where? Oh, yeah, that's what we're doing. Thank you. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:11:51 U.S.A? Steve, who just called? I don't know. The news said that we're being bulwarks right now and really sticking it to the president. CBS called. CBS called. Huh? Why? What did we do? We didn't. We don't know how to change things, so... Thankfully, nothing.
Starting point is 00:12:10 For once in our life, guys, we did. Hey, it's got Matt West. And there's two people just giving a high-five. So you want to... Can we get pizza? Can we get pizza? Yeah, we can get pizza. Clear food. Could you get...
Starting point is 00:12:25 Clearfoot. 100.9-1065. K. Rock. Electricity is more than a source of energy. At its best, electricity is a rush, a thrill, a feeling. From hybrids to plug-in hybrids to the all-electric Lexus RZ, this is our take on electric, one that puts what you need, what makes you feel confident, inspired, excited, above all else. After all, if it doesn't spark something in you, is it really electric?
Starting point is 00:12:55 See Burdick Lexus and Ciceroon. At some point, either this guy... needs more help. Or maybe this is the kink, and it's the humiliation. Uh-oh, it's got a little humiliation king. So California's serial butsniffer got arrested again. Remember him? Oh, the guy that leans down in the skinners.
Starting point is 00:13:17 Oh, no, he's got to go. That's... Like, do we still have, like, not... Fool me once. Not like prisons, but do we still have, like, Gotham-style asylums? Or, like, the in-between for this guy? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Someone punch him. in the face. I don't think they'll do it. I think that's part of the king. I feel like he's never been punched in the face. No, I think he just likes the shame of it. There's a whole world, like Malthyre was talking about, this whole shame kink thing. Yeah. I ain't king shaming you. No, no, no, no, but. But also, you can't have others involved, not consensual. Yeah, I was going to say you can't
Starting point is 00:13:49 have other people involved in your your what-nots that aren't involved with your what-nots. If you have... That's not fair. If you hire a man or a woman or somebody to humiliate you, fine. It's consensual. But you can't go around and sniff butts. No. Glendale police arrested Calice Crowder, age 39, again on August 28th, after two businesses
Starting point is 00:14:13 reported a man crouching near shoppers and apparently attempting to smell their butts. Surveillance footage from both locations identified him. He was located. He was arrested on suspicion of a parole violation because he already got arrested for this. So, yeah, like, at that point, sorry, just go to jail. Because one more time, three strikes in Cali, right? Isn't that for everything? Oh, is that a three strikes?
Starting point is 00:14:39 I thought California was three strikes. I think claws. I don't got time for laws. I can't find my eye that tank top. No, no laws. No laws and they're drinking claws. And I don't know where there's no. He was arrested.
Starting point is 00:14:49 He has accumulated more than 40 arrests. Nah. No. Okay, apparently I don't know. I'm talking about that. Like, this is where, like, this is where. This is where my kind of common sense beats down on my hippie-libbed stuff, where I'm like, I don't want people to be in prison,
Starting point is 00:15:06 but have you been arrested 40 times, I can't help you anymore. I don't know what. This is like what, like you're, you ain't getting fixed, bud. No. Like somebody gets busted for something once, and they serve the time, and they've proven to be a rehabilitated, God love you. Go live a great life. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Get all your rights back. Yep. But a guy has been arrested 40 times from butt sniffing, man. I don't know what we can do with you. Yeah, there's, I don't, I don't know what. It's not, is it mental? It's a lot of that. Because then again, then just you're going to a home.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Sorry, bud. We got to do that, right? But then my taxes got to pay for him? Yeah. Because I don't want to pay for him to eat and sleep because he's a butt sniffer. Yeah. And is it... Oh, it's just pulling on so many parts.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Is it mental? You know what I mean? Like, I don't know. There's a lot going on. There's more info is needed. Because if there's screws loose, then we can go from there. And start working on the mental health element of it?
Starting point is 00:16:03 And it's not saying that other things, other steps don't need to be taken. But you know what I mean? You can go from there once you've determined, okay, at least needs meds. See, text line with a great point. Maybe he's part German Shepherd. Oh. We didn't even know.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Maybe we got to do a DNA test. Bomb sniffing dog. Yeah, he could be a bomb sniffing dog. I mean, we all love sniffing butts, but again, it's got to be consensual. Yeah. You got to ask. He served 135 days. in L.A. County jail.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Wow. Last time you did this. That's balzy. I mean, dude, 135 days in jail would be enough to cure me of anything. I would lose my mind. I don't care.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I'd come out, clean as a whistle. And then, like, what are they saying is, like, I don't, see,
Starting point is 00:16:47 I need way more info. I want to know his reaction to when he is caught by police. I want to know his reaction when he's told how long he's going to be in jail. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:58 Like, I want to know his reaction. to many things. Right. Because if he's like, hmm, no, okay. Yeah, like if he's a dick about it,
Starting point is 00:17:07 go to jail, I don't care. Is it better for him to be in jail? Is he homeless? And Lottie is right. Maybe he just wants free meals and a place to sleep. Is he California's not my taxes, but I don't want my taxes paying for that?
Starting point is 00:17:17 No. Is he an unhoused, sir? But I don't know, he wouldn't be, shopping. They'd be like, no, get out. Like, there needs to be a medium, there needs to be a medium option where it's like, no,
Starting point is 00:17:28 we're not going to give you three hots in a cot. No. And we're not put our taxes towards you because you're into something. You're going to go to work. Yeah. Yeah. But every day you're coming back to this house. Yep.
Starting point is 00:17:40 You got to stay here in jail. You pay your way. We're keeping an eye on you. It's like halfway house. It's like a halfway house. But it's jail. Yeah. It's jail.
Starting point is 00:17:47 We're watching you. We're not feeding you. We're not housing you because you're in the butt stuff. Slap an ankle bracelet on them. Mm-hmm. Get out there and. serve the world. Straighter days says my guy,
Starting point is 00:18:02 a guy in my county just got sentenced to over 500 years in prison. I don't know if your legal system knows how life works. 500 years. Where do you live? Like I've heard of life without parole or two life sentences.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Oh, they'll be like 100 years because we don't ever want you to get out. But 500 years, I mean, all right. Always he's a vampire. He might be a vampire. I don't think about that. My apologies. I love that we can now use the phrase.
Starting point is 00:18:28 And those aren't third-eye blind numbers When it comes to the suburban park Scotty McCrary getting 14,000 last night Sure Ashanti getting 19,000 Good for them, that's awesome Hey third-eye blind numbers Hey third-eye blind numbers
Starting point is 00:18:43 The 90s are back, baby Sorry MapQuest is back That's okay Cigarettes are back Third-Eblind is back I don't know what other things are back My virginity
Starting point is 00:18:55 Your virginity is back bud The McDonald's boo buckets are back Oh, those are though, right? I think I've got them all, though. I don't like the new versions of them. What? They don't do the tops the same they used to. You knew that, right?
Starting point is 00:19:08 Oh, yeah. It's like a paper top. I want the whole thing. Or they're the chintzy, like, little small ones where you have to, like, just twist it a little and it's still locked in place, and they don't ever. Donald's boo buckets. Because, I mean, I've got most of them.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Probably if there's nothing. You do, yeah. There's nothing new. Well, speaking of Halloween, not to get too far down the road here, but... That's time. We're fine now. It's September. It's recalling a bunch of Halloween candy.
Starting point is 00:19:36 Oh, boy. I don't know if it's our state, though. This is a video, not... Let's see what they say. Hello? We're not going to go with that website. We're going to go with another website. Holly candy sold the T.J. Max Marshall's recalled in 13 states.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Yo. Who's getting it? And Halloween candies for people at Marshalls and T.J. Max. Crystal Temptations, based in North Arlington, New Jersey, is recalling certain packages of Little Temptations, chocolatey eyeballs. That's actually the name of the strip club I was going to open up in the women. Crystal Temptations. The women were going to be called Little Temptations.
Starting point is 00:20:20 That's not a bad idea for a strip club name, actually. It sounds like the strip club in GTA. Crystal Temptations. Yes, it is. Wait, what was the product again? Chocolatey eyeballs, Little Temptations, chocolatey eyeballs is what they're called. Let me see, do I know if I've had those?
Starting point is 00:20:35 Oh, yeah, we've all had those. Okay. They're just like the gimmicky, fun foil eyeballs, and then you open it up and it's a glob of chocolate. All of the websites crashed here while I was trying to do that, yep. I mean, if that's what you're handing out for Halloween, that's not, it's not that it's bad. No, it looks like an eyeball.
Starting point is 00:20:57 that's a little bit bloodshot, the tinfoil. Oh, I know those are. And then you just take the tinfoil off and it's just a round ball of chocolate. I know what those are. So it's nothing fancy, but I mean... People with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could suffer serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reactions because they do contain milk, although it's not declared on the package. Oh, so it's not anything.
Starting point is 00:21:19 So this isn't like an RFK Jr. you're going to die from the mango's thing. This is just, hey, we didn't put it on the label thing. We accidentally put arsenic in there. That's our bed. I'm sorry, you can't eat any foods. Yep. Thank you. You're not getting any of the drachlety eyeballs.
Starting point is 00:21:35 It's almost easier right now if you list what can we eat, RFK Jr. What is, what do we still allow to eat? Raw, USA Grape. Unpasturized milk and worms. Worms and unmasturized milk. Not worse. Nightcrawlers. Oh, okay, thank you.
Starting point is 00:21:54 This is an interesting art. As survey online asked people, what's something that you think you're, what's something that most people think they're good at until they meet somebody who's actually really good at it? Oh. Huh. A lot of people think of that about that they're good at sex until they meet me. And then they don't even know what to do. A professional intercourseologist.
Starting point is 00:22:18 They're blown out of the water. Yep. No, I'll give you an example like Super Smash Bros. or any video games where you're like, dude, I'm really good at Mario Kart. I was just going to say all I can think of is... And then you meet some 12-year-old who's really good at Mario. Is Madden.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Where I'm like, I think I'm pretty good at Madden. I've been playing Madden since it started. So just as long as any 10-year-old, but not more than any 10-year-old. So every once in a while, I'll hop online and I'll try to play a game and I'll lose 73 to 10. Dude, guitar or any music? 56 to 10. Guitar's a great one. Because you'll be like, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:22:55 I've been playing guitar 30 years. I'm probably pretty good. And then you watch one Billy Strings video and you're like, oh, I can't. I guess I can't play the instrument. I thought I could. Chef stuff. Cooking? But like when they do the real fancy things, like chefs.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Yeah. Like that. I'm like, I don't know how you do it. You know what I mean? Like how, you know, like at a really any restaurant, like a line cook or something where there's 80 things. going on at once. There's no way my brain could handle that.
Starting point is 00:23:29 I do like watching those. You ever watch those live streams or just people with chefs in the kitchen? That's what I mean where he's like moving eight plates and he's got the steak here and then he moved this there and then he wiped off this here. And I'm like, how did you remember to do all of that? But it's just in there.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Sister says, I've been enjoying the videos of men saying they can beat a professional women's anything because they're men and they can beat some of them. Oh, those are always funny. Basketball and stuff like that. Or the dudes that try to hit. No, the dudes that are,
Starting point is 00:23:54 The dudes that are so confident they can hit a softball pitch from a professional softball pitcher. Buzz it right by your face. And by the way, I apologize for not knowing this existed. I didn't know female baseball was a thing now. How out of touch am I? Oh, like Little League or? No, female baseball teams. I've seen...
Starting point is 00:24:13 I was watching a game the other day. I've seen a little bit here there where they have a small professional league that they do. It's on some of the ESPNs. Because a woman hit either it was the first ever grand slam or first ever walk-off home run in the women's baseball league. Well, it's nice for to have another. WPBL is what it is. Oh, gotcha. To have another option because it's that, I forget, I'm already forgetting her name, but the young lady that played in the Little League World Series, they kept being like, well, this is her final stop before she goes to softball.
Starting point is 00:24:46 And it's like, she's a baller. Yeah. Let her keep whiffing dudes out. Like, who cares? But even when I was a kid, I don't understand. What do you mean? Girls play the one with the bigger ball? Why don't they just play baseball, too?
Starting point is 00:25:00 I don't know. I'm not going to get into a whole thing. Yep. Swinging Lowe's wife's friend was from Syracuse and an ex-copin was drafted into the WPBA. That's cool. Cool. That's really cool. It looked really cool.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Is Monet Davis? Is that the one from Little League? Little League World Series? Oh, she plays for the L.A. Queens now. From like 2014. Oh, because you said her, like, your brothers or dads or something playing? That was this year. And then, like, 2014 was Davis where she was just striking out kids left and right.
Starting point is 00:25:29 It was awesome. All right. I'm not out of touch. It just started. It's brand new. So that's cool. That's cool. Are the Georgia Peaches playing?
Starting point is 00:25:36 The Rockford. Is that that movie? Rockford Peaches. Oh, yeah. Leave their own. I'm only seen. I love that movie. Big chunks of that.
Starting point is 00:25:43 I've never actually seen the whole thing start to finish. My cousin Jay saying the dorkiest thing ever. As much as I'm a geek for spreadsheets, I always get humbled when I watch the Excel. World Championships. Cousin Jay. Cousin Jay. Got to love him.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Got to love him. Oh, boy. He likes his Excel spreadsheet. You're damn right he does. We're discussing what's something you think you're great at until you see somebody who's actually great at it. Golf is coming in a bunch on the text line. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:26:11 Yeah. Any sport, dude. Any sport. Golf, yeah. Other than, because I've had a couple people. What? Send me the Papa Shots thing recently. Because that just came up.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Over the last couple weeks, I still think I could take a championship. He could. He could. He'd be really good. We already did all the regulation stuff. It's all the exact same things. And there's more balls. If I had more balls, more points. And I would, dude, I would have to say,
Starting point is 00:26:41 I'm about to infuriate everybody listening right now because I think this is just my stupid confidence. Okay. Okay. Well, that's what we're talking about. I think I could beat a lot of people at Cornhole. I know the cornhole is like... I'm not good at that game.
Starting point is 00:26:56 I'm pretty good at it. It's fun, but I'm not good. And even when I watch these championships on TV, they're not doing any much. They're not much better than the average bar cornhole player. Is it because you got long arms? No, I just think I'm good at... I have this weird...
Starting point is 00:27:11 It might be part of my tism. I don't know what it is. I can do repetitive tasks perfectly. So once you figure out the... Once my brain... Back and forths of the mechanic. Like when I used to get a little buzzed and play darts, like my brain could lock into darts.
Starting point is 00:27:29 You're a good darter. And Cornhole, if I can, if I figure out the exact muscle memory, come on down, Josh, I'll take you on. I'll take you on. I don't even need a buzz. I can just get locked in on cornhole. It is fun. It's super fun.
Starting point is 00:27:48 But no, I'm not so good. It's super fun. I've got it in the hole a couple times. Ladies. What is something you think you're great at until you see, like, real professionals do it? I don't think I'm great at, but darts is definitely one. Darts is one of them, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:05 Bowling, I... Bowling is always impressive to me. Because I'm, like, again, repetitive motion. If I'm bowling against my cousin and we're having fun, I'm pretty locked in. I'm pretty good at it. Yeah, you guys were both pretty good when we did that thing there. We got to do it again because people love you.
Starting point is 00:28:24 People like you as the announcer more than the bowling. Well, I just, I liked watching the bowling. That's fun. So, but then I'll watch Micah's kid or like these real pros. Yep. And like the ball curves and it slides and it's so fast and they got this form. We had that at ESM. Because you guys are bowling champs.
Starting point is 00:28:42 And for some reason we were, we had eight bowling alleys in our little circle there. And all the families owned them. So all the kids grew up playing. so when you'd see certain people you'd be like, oh, she's going to be a bowling champion. And the person I'm thinking of absolutely was because her family owned the bowling alley. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:02 So that was a lot of dudes that think they're, that think they're good at fighting until they meet somebody who can really fight. I love those videos. And see, that's not fair. I didn't think I was good of fighting, but I still got beat off. No, I love watching the dudes like square up outside of like a bar,
Starting point is 00:29:17 not knowing they're like challenging a UFC fighter, like a boxer. and the boxer just gives them a lefty to the face and they do, yeah. They do that crumple thing. They just do a hard reboot and they fall right to the crap. No, those are fun. In one of those, like, crazy as far moments, they just, the clip I was watching, one of them showed that video from down the way from a couple years back.
Starting point is 00:29:38 Remember when that guy slammed the other got through the window down here? I do remember that. That was wild. Yeah, I was like, oh, geez. Yeah. Rover, Josh thought he was good at hosting a morning show until he met Gomez. Gomez is the ultimate pro. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:29:49 I'll forever live in Gomez's shadow and I'm fine with it. Now, he met Ted and Amy real early. I did. So, yeah, look it. But I'm at least third, right? Right. I would say that. Gomez, Ted and Amy, they're in the top three, flipping around every one.
Starting point is 00:30:01 But then here I am and you. Right. I'll take a bronze. Yeah. I'm fine with that. We're a central New York's bronze medal. K-Rock text line, I'm better at farting than anyone. Challenge accepted.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Challenge accepted. Oh, boy. About the soul to squeeze. some cheese on these crackers. Ah, oh, ho! He's all Ritzie over here. Happy Wednesday, get the show on demand, wherever you download your favorite podcasts.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Get all the links at the show.com. I am on my Ritz BS. They're where it's at. It's good stuff. Ritz is top notch. Forget what we called it when we hyperfixate on foods. But it's
Starting point is 00:30:49 this week I'm hyperfixating on Ritz bits. I think they came up at some point in the week, and then I was like, I want a Ritzpitz, and I went to the vending machine. Now, for $8 a piece. For those of you who are not in Twitter YouTube chat, you didn't hear my proclamation, that apparently I have mind powers now,
Starting point is 00:31:08 which is I could use them for good or evil. We'll see. We'll see what I'm in the move for. We'll find out as situations arise. We'll see if I use my powers for good or evil, because I went to the vending machine and I put it in my money for one bag of Ritzpitz crackers. One bag.
Starting point is 00:31:24 And I started, you know how you like speak think sometimes? Do you do that or you put that into the ether? And I was thinking, you know what I want? I want two bags. I think I want two bags. And the machine did this thing or it goes, and it spit out a second bag. And I go, oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:31:41 How do you like it? I got brain powers now. At some point I'm just going to smash that and take everything and tell the guy that we had someone break in. Oh, somebody broke in. Sorry, dude. So now I'm deep into my RitzBits business right now. As a sister coined in chat, I'm standing on Bitsness now.
Starting point is 00:31:58 I'm so into it. I saw the spicy caselo ones at the Dollar General. Oh, I'm going to be all about it now. Dollar store, but they were like $4. And then Joe. And then Joe in chat said they should come up with the Ritz Bits double stuff. And I go, does that exist?
Starting point is 00:32:16 Well, it does not. Ritz Bits Bid's double stuff does not. But. Ritz Cracker Fools, big stuff do. I feel like I've had those from looking at the, um, the packaging. The packaging. Like their mothers.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Colossal cheddar, bud. So I'm going to grab one of these at the grocery store. I don't know if I need a candy bar style. It does look like a candy bar kind of. But I want to know. Yeah. Why not? I want to know.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Yeah, Joe, why are they hiding it from us? Why is the government hiding double-stuffed crackerfuls from us? What do they know that we don't? Is it too dangerous? It is. It can't be trusted. We can't just be given the double stuff. Once we get that technology, Cody, there's no going back.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Yeah. Well, then we're going to, you expect us to just have regular stuffed ritzpits or whatever, ever again for any reason or regular stuffed anything? Bro, you might have beyond a something. Because ever since double stuff came out, I never went back to single stuff. Cuff cookies. No. Once the double-stopped E.L. Fudge came out, I ain't going back to single stuff. No.
Starting point is 00:33:24 So maybe they know. Yeah, the Oreos, no one wants. No one's there for the cookie. We want that cream, bro. Because double stuff, thanks to shrinkflation, is essentially what a single stuff used to be now. Yeah. Get that triple stuff. So Ritz is actually, they know their power.
Starting point is 00:33:43 And they're using their powers for good. They say, no. For now. If we introduce to double stuff, we can never go back. Yep. And society will be forever changed. Or they were probably like, listen, oh, I'm sorry, are you the Ritzpitz science team? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:33:56 Because we've done the Ritzbitts science technology to discover exactly how much cheese we can have. Sure. To where the cracker doesn't fall off. The ratio. We know the exact ratio. You have too much cheese all of a sudden. That's also a good point. Oh, the cracker pops off and all of a sudden, I got a bag of Ritzbitts that you're complaining about.
Starting point is 00:34:16 So as today's theme seems to be, 90s are back. Ritz bits are back, maybe. They're back in my world. I probably haven't had them since the 90s. I'm going to eat some Ritz bits while smoking cigarettes. Listen to third eye blind and using MapQuest. Wiping my hands on my Jankos after.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Well, speaking of MapQuest, you could use it to travel to any of these tourist destinations as business insider had a survey where they asked, what are some? What? Business Insider? It's always business insider. Always. No, I'm standing on Bidness. It's always Bitsness. It's always Bitness.
Starting point is 00:34:48 No, no, no, no, you heard business. I'm actually reading my personal journal, Bittsness Insider. It's all Ritz and Ritzbitts adjacent news. Yep. All the time. All the time, 24-7. No, Business Insider had a survey on what are some of the most overrated tourists stops in the country.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Okay. Places that, and I disagree with the first ones. Las Vegas Strip, overrated. I disagree. Depends. Define overrated. I know what I'm getting when I go there. Also true.
Starting point is 00:35:21 You know exactly what that is. So, I mean, yeah. What did you expect it to be? They say, have you ever gone out of your way to visit a famous tourist spot? And when you get there, you're a little disappointed. Because for me, that was everything I thought would be and more. Right. And more.
Starting point is 00:35:41 So, no, definitely not overrated. If you go out there. I don't know what you go out there expecting. I could see somebody like, it's overrated. If they already don't like it, and then they go and they're like, nah, this is overrated. But then that was your preconceived notion going into it that it was going to be overrated, so now you're already upset.
Starting point is 00:36:01 You set the bar too high. Yeah. Nah, I don't think so. Second one was Times Square. Disagree? I don't think Times Square is overrated. I think it's awesome. You're going to see it for the first time in a couple of weeks.
Starting point is 00:36:12 We're close enough to it? I'm going to drive you through it, yes. Noose. Time Square's not overrated. I think it's, beautiful. It's crazy, cool. Is it what you see on the TV?
Starting point is 00:36:23 Is it all like 10 billion people? Well, it depends on the time of day. The hustle and the bustle. It's cool. Yeah. Now, some that are truly overrated. Ben has a great one. Have you ever seen Plymouth Rock?
Starting point is 00:36:37 No, it is just a... It's a boulder. You look down in a pit. Yeah, look at that. Oh, there it is. And honestly, I don't even know what the origin of Plymouth Rock. is like what the pilgrims landed there
Starting point is 00:36:50 but it's not a rock big enough to land on it's just where they came ashore for the first time we're supposed to believe but then if you go there they're like this is Plymouth Rock but it actually used to be over there so I'm like why did you move Plymouth Rock? Was it was there erosion or something? You know another one that's overrated
Starting point is 00:37:06 Liberty Bell? Oh Bingham because you go to Philly and you're like I want to see the Liberty Bell and they have it enclosed in this building now and it's a huge-ass line to go see it. And when you get up there, it's a bell of the cracking it.
Starting point is 00:37:26 You're like, ah, all right. No, thanks. No, I'm not about that. Listen, I'm not surprised, though. I mean, the Eagles are in Philly, so we're talking overrated. Philly's burn. Philly burn. Nicholas says Waldrug.
Starting point is 00:37:39 I've never seen Wall Drug, but I want to. I don't know what that is. It's like this thing out in the middle of nowhere where Nicholas is. Yeah. But it's like a huge-ass drug store and there's signs all, like, Tons of billboards going to Wal-Dug, wall-drug. See, I have a feeling that I would say that at some of these places
Starting point is 00:37:58 that people are in love with like Buckees and stuff. I have a feeling I'd be like, this is overrated. It's overrated. I got a ton of hate for that. When we finally found a Buckees a couple years ago, I think driving to Myrtle Beach. Because everybody said, you got to go to Buckees. You got to go to Buckees.
Starting point is 00:38:14 And I did. It's overrated. Gas stations. I like ones like that. I like going in and I like looking around. or whatever, but yeah, I don't, I don't know. It was nothing special other than it was big. Yep.
Starting point is 00:38:27 It's where gas met vast. They were like, what if we put a gas station in a Walmart? That's exactly all it was. But for everyone that loves it, more Bucky's for you. Ben, they're done that. Yeah, it's like, Buckees is for people who don't get out of their small town very often. Like, if you don't leave your town very often, and then that one time you roll up on a Bucky.
Starting point is 00:38:48 And you're like, oh, wow, a beaver's going to give me. Steak tips. Okay. And a subway outside in a trailer where a guy's going to drop lunch meat into a bag for you. That's a reference. One of my best moments ever. What was the story? I was thinking about it the other day.
Starting point is 00:39:02 You were a subway and you wanted extra meat and it was after the fact and he didn't really. Yeah, it was a subway, but it was a southern subway. It was like a West Virginia subway. So it was literally in a single wide trailer at a gas station. Yep. And I wanted extra meat or something. Yep. And he gave it, he just dropped it in a bag and not on the sandwich.
Starting point is 00:39:20 and he acted like he was doing me a favor. There you go, bud. I got to go watch that clip again. I forgot that, sorry. Tourist locations that are overrated. What are we missing? Mount Rushmore, never been. Probably not going to go.
Starting point is 00:39:33 No, I'm not going to go. Although I just saw like a picture, like for scale. Like if you were standing there, I thought it was much bigger. No, well, I'm going. No, it is. It's tiny.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Yeah, a little guy. It's tiny. Yep. And I don't really love it. what it is either. No, I didn't. That's one of those. They don't teach in school. I didn't know it was like an indigenous rock. They don't tell you. We stole the land from an indigenous peoples.
Starting point is 00:39:58 And they used to mean something to them and then we hafted it up. Like that's really not a good look. Well, I'll make it better. Don't worry. Four Corners Monument, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah. That's what I was going to say. I've never seen that either. I was going to lump that in with Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. I've never been there.
Starting point is 00:40:16 Grand Canyon's not overrated. But it's. Hoover Dam's not overrated. But I mean it's just... I gotta take you there. It is what it is. It's just a giant hole. You need to go, all right.
Starting point is 00:40:25 But it's the biggest hole you've ever seen. Except for your mothers. No, it's... It's breathtaking, but it's also... All right. That's what I mean. That's what it is. I'm saying overrated in the sense of you get there
Starting point is 00:40:41 and within five seconds, I'm like, all right, we pop back to Vegas now. Yeah, like, it's cool. And it's worth the trip and everybody should see it because it's wild to see what water can do to land. Yeah. And like the stories that you learn about it. But now that I've been twice, I'm like, all right, I've seen the Grand Canyon.
Starting point is 00:40:59 I'm good. A lot of you're saying Niagara Falls is overrated. I disagree. I love Niagara Falls. Yeah, at least there's stuff around that up at Niagara Falls. And it is like shocking to see how large that is. Yeah. It's pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:41:15 What else is coming in? Yeah, American Falls. My apologies. American Falls. Bourbon Street, I've never been to Bourbon Street. Is it overrated? Never been there. I would say that you're same as Vegas.
Starting point is 00:41:27 If you're going down there, not excited, I bet you would say it's overrated. You're going down there to party and Marty Grot up, I would bet you it's not overrated. Because I see people that love Bourbon Street and they go once a year and they have a great time. Yeah. I think a lot of it is if you have that in your head going into it, that is going to be stupid. then yeah, you're going to probably think it's stupid. Yeah, you're going to think it's overrated. You already put it in your head.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Salem, Massachusetts. Never been. People say it's overrated. I know a lot of y'all like to go in the October month because of the witches. Yeah, I've heard the more like commercialized parts of it people are all about. We like to go celebrate when we just killed a bunch of women for no reason. Right. Burn them.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Burn them at the steak. Yeah, I don't like her. What did you say? She's reading? Yeah, burner. She baked a loaf of bread? What is that? What a witch?
Starting point is 00:42:19 Yeah, it's a witch? weird vibe for me. I've never been out there. I heard if you go like off the beaten paths and some of that stuff where it's less touristy. Yeah, Fuzz is saying Salem is a bit overrated, but it is cool. Salem was cooler than I thought it would be Ben Riley said. We got
Starting point is 00:42:35 some great spots right here in New York though. Down in the Hudson Valley, if you go to like Sleepy Hollow. Yeah. If you go to that pumpkin thing I did last year. Yeah, there's a ton of stuff. We got cool stuff. Yep. Now we're getting in that season. Oh, see, Micah says real witches. burn. We survived. Oh yeah, I forgot about that because then, yeah. But then they, then when they
Starting point is 00:42:53 know if you're a real witch, then you're screwed. Ah, gotcha. Because you didn't burn. Yeah, Metal Barbie says Salem's cool. Always go to Boston. Anything you, that we're missing out on? Overrated tourist spots? And what might be overrated to you? Is it overrated other people? Yeah, that's what I mean. It's probably, you know, where you live and what you like to do. Mm-hmm. So if you get, with a lot of them, again, like Vegas, you don't like that stuff. You're not going to want to go there. If you don't like. We drove our children to the world's largest thermometer. Yeah, that would be a note. That'd be a big. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:43:22 You would get a lot of pushback from me on road trips. On those type of road trips. There's stuff like that. No, no, we're not driving an hour and a half out of the way to see the world's biggest thermometer stick that a dog found. Ooh, you want to go out of there? No. We went to the flintstone campgrounds.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Like the not dispensary, but the Flintstone, like the actual cartoon? Yep, yep. Chival says the largest skillets in Pena. No. Nope. Nope. Won't go, bud? Nope.
Starting point is 00:43:51 Where can I take him? All right, I'm driving him to the city next two Fridays from now. I got to take him really somewhere annoying. I want a real authentic New York slice. Sombrough. A lot of you're saying Walter White's house is overrated. Yeah, I think any movie spot's going to be a little overrated. Yeah, you go to stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:44:12 You're like, oh, this is where they did the movie? Okay. Have I seen any movie scenes? That's. I don't know, but they're just. generally just a house. Walter White's house is just a house. Who did I? Oh, we drove by you said the steps in the Joker
Starting point is 00:44:24 movie. That was cool. Oh, I did. You saw the steps as we left Yankee Stadium. Did he dance down? That's pretty cool. But did you find it impressive? No, you're literally just in the Bronx. Oh, cool. Yeah. Mm-hmm. No, I feel like, have I ever seen a TV or movie? Like, oh, this is where...
Starting point is 00:44:42 I don't think I have. Nothing is coming to mind. I mean, other than like you find an obscure movie And you're like, oh yeah, that was filmed in Central Square or something Yeah Like Phoenix has happy birthday to me Where we jumped a car over a bridge in the 60s Yeah
Starting point is 00:45:00 And that's like it And that's where they jumped the car Okay, you ever see that movie? No. No, I should see that part because of that Because of that right. But no. Like, yeah, I guess I have not
Starting point is 00:45:11 Because I've never been down isn't like Amityville closer to the city You know, yeah. So I've never seen that. I've never seen there's other houses. Well, Manhattan will have a million scenes like places people shot films and TVs. Yeah, that's true. I can show you that.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Yeah, Ben, I want to try that water. Dion has that new water out. But if you launch it, how are people going to drink it? Yes, that's exactly right. Hey, it is Labor Day weekend coming up. Three-day weekend for a lot of you. Hopefully you get a nice run. How do you do?
Starting point is 00:45:46 Oh, Rie, I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for joining us, and we'll keep you laughing as best we can. No, this is a serious show. Rest and peace, grandpa. For serious people. Very serious. Let's discuss finance. We are getting ready for the long weekend.
Starting point is 00:46:01 I don't know why this is an article. What are you grilling over Labor Day weekend? Is this a grilling weekend? I never thought of it as a grilling weekend. Memorial Day weekend's a grilling weekend. Yeah, this is, I mean, it's just like people wrapping up their parties, like Labor Day. It's the last of the summer We're going to wrap it up
Starting point is 00:46:19 I got to put away my white pants Larry Pennington From his thrifted home in Delaware Has told me that he's He's only got a couple days With white pants left Forget that I'm wearing my Panama pants As long as I want
Starting point is 00:46:28 You never put on once Not here Oh you had him home I wore him home sometimes Oh nice After I found him I had in all summer I completely forgot about him
Starting point is 00:46:36 But then I put him on Then I put him on Very comfortable We've only got a couple days left Before he's got to put away All of his white pants All of his serious sucker suits.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Well, I was just thinking that, I mean, still again, we don't everyone freak out. We have a long time left of this hot weather. A lot of summer left. A lot of summer. But pretty soon, my tank top drawers will be closed. I have two full drawers.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Mm-hmm. Just for tank tops. Yeah, Amy says my dad will grill in a snowstorm. It's always grilling weekend. That's the other thing I was going to say is that a lot of us, especially around here, there ain't no wrapping it up. No.
Starting point is 00:47:12 We're not wrapping up or grilling. If we want to grill, we will grill. We just do that move where you open the garage door and then you just stand in the garage. Even I will think about what I'm grilling. I don't want to, you know, blow so much smoke around everybody. But I'll set up my blackstone on my balcony. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:30 I don't care. Yeah. It was not actively snowfall coming down. There was the one time I did. So they're going through in this, is this a food article? Yeah. They're reading some of the more unique items, different states. He'll be grilling this weekend.
Starting point is 00:47:47 And some of these I'm interested in. That ass. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Ben Rally's right. Labor Day kicks off grilling season in our house. Getting ready for football. The other thing I was going to say a lot.
Starting point is 00:47:58 So maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. For a smaller amount of people, you get going. Your mother says your tank tops are cut up t-shirts. Throw them out. What are you talking about, Deb? Throw out what? This right here. He's pulling out of his bag for those of you're now watching in the video feed?
Starting point is 00:48:13 What one's this, bud? that one's just for us That's the What is it? Oh that was yeah Nice She's not wrong He's not wrong
Starting point is 00:48:22 Those are the best tank tops Because also I like my shirts Some of them are cool And I don't want to throw them away Just because It's doing my least favorite thing And maybe the history of the world And the loose neck
Starting point is 00:48:35 Oh I hate a loose neck On a shirt It's like a day ruiner I hate a loose neck But Ken says Amy's dad Will start grilling
Starting point is 00:48:44 this weekend on the lowest flame possible and in two months the food will be ready when the snow flies. Yeah, it still will be hot or done. That's pretty funny. Alaska's making moose burgers this weekend. Honestly, I'd eat a moose burger. I would eat a moose burger, but me remembering that the ostrich burger
Starting point is 00:49:02 was at the fair has made me want to go to the fair more than anything else this whole year. Is it back this year? Have you checked? Oh, good call. I don't even know. Could have been just last year you had it. And I'm just walking around like this. Like an idiot. They'll also do a grilled salmon or a halibut.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Gross. Florida's doing grilled gator. I had, I've had a Gator at the fair, but everything gets seasoned so much so you don't really know. I would try that. What's the texture on a gator tail? It was, I don't know if it was the tail, but yes, it was very chicken-like. It was very chickeny. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:49:33 But, yeah, I would eat gator. It's probably very fishy. South Dakota, we'll be doing some grilled pheasant. Oh. Well, if I ever had pheasant? Talk to me about pheasant. That's a little tiny bird? It's like a little tiny chicken on the grill.
Starting point is 00:49:46 With that like long tail. All right. So I don't know. Montana's doing elk steak. Yeah. Oh, elk. I would eat an elk. Alk.
Starting point is 00:49:56 I bet elk's delicious. I've had elk. Something. Elk burger. We've had elk burgers. Yes, we have. We did? We had elk burgers for something.
Starting point is 00:50:05 It was a thing. That's all I know. We've been doing this so long. I can't remember. That makes sense. Nope, that makes sense. But it was a thing that was in our mouths, Coco. Oh, my goodness.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Maine is doing grilled fiddleheads. Would you like a grilled fiddlehead? Cody Goose to Google and types in fiddlehead. It's a vegetable, apparently. Fiddleheads are young, curled ferns. What? Maine. What?
Starting point is 00:50:31 Maine. What's going on up there? Tightly wound. Not a lobster, not a seafood of any kind? Edible coiled fronds of young ostrich ferns, harvest it in the early spring before they unroll. So it's just a fern, like a... Stalk of a fern?
Starting point is 00:50:47 It looks like... Come on, Maine. It looks like a cut in half Brussels sprout. It's like twirling. Go get a seal or whatever you got out there in Maine. Get out of here. Delaware's doing grilled blue crabs. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:51:00 I got enough crabs for the bull of us. I got my blue crabs cleared up. Colorado's doing Rocky Mountain oysters, bud. Never got a no interest in. Hell yeah. I have no interest in eating those. You want a bite. Hawaii is doing.
Starting point is 00:51:15 That's something interesting. Huli, hoolly chicken. Which is a distinctly tropical preparation. Okay. They're also doing Calbee ribs. Calbee is a Korean-style short rib. Oh, I bet that's pretty good. I bet that's bomb.
Starting point is 00:51:30 I bet that's pretty good. I don't hate that. All right. Now, I'll stick to the classics. Yeah, some of those sound good, though. The only one? Grime. Elk steak I tried.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Crined up some of them animals. Give me a bison. Do a bison burgers. Bison burgers are good. That ain't, that ain't testicles. Ain't doing it. It's not bad. Have you ever had Rocky Mountain oysters?
Starting point is 00:51:50 No, I don't want to. You can't, you wouldn't be able to tell. I would be able to tell because they're shaped like testicles. I would just give you a bite. I would tell you it's a chicken. And then I would know it's a testicle. Once it's in your mouth because I don't know I would tell you. The show.com.
Starting point is 00:52:02 We're all in chat right now talking about just the trend of agro tourism, especially we have around here in the apple season. I know Began skiff and skiff. is getting a little heat for their new play area over there, costing, I guess, $22 to play on it. Per person, no matter what. A lot of these places are, I mean, I don't even know, I don't know everyone's prices besides them,
Starting point is 00:52:23 so I don't know what's comparable and not, but. There's a bunch of places that, and you don't, that are doing this, you don't want to see it crash. You know what I mean? Yeah, like, we got, like, it's, there's nothing better than on a whatever day. Fall day. Being able to, not that I go to all these places,
Starting point is 00:52:39 but I love driving by them, and you see 10 that are all full of people and having fun. But if you start pricing everyone out, man, and making it so only the rich families can do any of this stuff. I don't run these businesses, so I don't know what their costs are. I don't know all of it involved. But like, I don't know, like the wagon ride used to be the reason, like, okay, I own an apple orchard.
Starting point is 00:53:05 I want you to come to my apple orchard instead of their apple orchard. So I've got a wagon ride. And that used to be like, eh, we'll go to Josh's Apple Orchard because you can get in a wagon, right? Yeah, the wagon will take you out there. That'll be fun or you can go look around. Yeah. But then, like, this agro-tourism has kicked off where it's like, well, now we've got to have a bouncing area,
Starting point is 00:53:22 and we've got to have go-carts, we've got to have slides. In two different restaurants. Yeah, like, it just, all right, all right. So now it's like, just going, even apple picking itself is expensive. Oh, it's, yeah. So you're like, just trying to go out and do these things are getting real expensive. Yep. No, luckily, you know, if you don't use them, oh, man. Like if you're just, yeah, I like apples.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Yeah. It's not, it's almost too pricey. Luckily, you know, making pies and all that stuff. We go to a bunch of different spots. We head out, like, lately we go to this Rochester one where you pay an admission to get in. Like a lot of these places. And then it's like, everything is available. You go to the corn maze.
Starting point is 00:54:04 You go to the thing. I like the ones where you don't, you don't have to pay to park. because, again, a lot of these times, it's me and Elsa ripping around. Right. And I have a dog. And I just want to walk around because she's very good in public. Yeah. So I want to walk around.
Starting point is 00:54:21 But yes, I know. And then there's places you can't get out in the orchard. That makes sense. You don't want a dog out there. But there's been a couple where they're like, and that'll be, you and the dog. Well, no dogs. But, you know, it's $7. But I'm like, to park?
Starting point is 00:54:33 Yeah. You're going to see a lot of those stories this season, I think. Yeah. I'm like, no, I'm going to leave then. I was going to walk around. grounds, maybe grab something to eat. I'm not, I'm not going to pay to park. Cousin Jay is right. He says, hot take, I absolutely hate apple and pumpkin picking. I love the time I spend with my family. I hate apple picking. Well, I know a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:54:52 It's hot, usually, or it's raining. I'm doing manual labor here to get apples. I love it. I like climbing that stupid ladder, getting up into the tree. But I think that we're kind of in like, we're in the thick of it as far as like agro-tourism goes. Because we got a lot of these farms putting up a lot of cool stuff and they got to pay for it somehow. And we're all like right here with how many of them there are and they're all offering stuff. We always love going down to Springside farms. They're always adding cool things. No, but, you know, I just like.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Tim's just built that big barn, that brew barn. Which is crazy. They're like Beacon Skiff 2.0 and watching them go from from nothing to now even to step foot on the grounds. So you cost money. It's $5.00. But I'm going to buy pumpkins. And all, so why is it $5 to even be on your hollow grounds? I don't understand any of it.
Starting point is 00:55:45 Because they got to have staff and they got to have insurance and all that. I get it. There's costs. But I don't run a farm, so I don't know anything about it. I just see every year these places add more stuff and it gets more expensive. And then the next year they've added more stuff and it gets more expensive. Although I get wooed by just the small things. I saw places that got Granny Smith's available in late October.
Starting point is 00:56:07 So that's one where I will be going. Oh, very nice. I like to pop into an Owen orchards. That's down by you. I like to check them out. Crits. People say they go to Crits. It's a good one.
Starting point is 00:56:16 We've got Abbots. We've got Ontario Orchards up by me and a, uh, oh, well, Christ. Uh-oh. Ontario Orchards. Oh, what are you to call? Are they America Orchards? Marical Orchards. I didn't think about that.
Starting point is 00:56:30 They're all America Orchards. What am I supposed to call it? America Orchards. They've got a lot of fun stuff up there. But yeah, they've got a lot of fun stuff up there. But, yeah, We're also in, I'm sure there's like, you know, Washington State and all that.
Starting point is 00:56:43 They've got some apple trees and all that crap. But we're also like 1A of, you know, the areas for all this stuff. Yeah. Fuzz says, Tim says an apple cannon though, and that's pretty cool. And you can shoot it? Yeah. Oh, I want to shoot that. I've never.
Starting point is 00:56:58 I've seen people launch stuff. Mm-hmm. I've never done it, but that is pretty cool. Yeah. It is awesome. There's so much to do in all these spots. So we're lucky. We're lucky to have it here.
Starting point is 00:57:09 I only brought up the Beacon Skiff thing. And I love Beacon's going to. I'm not sullying anything. No, no. It's just telling you what people are saying about this right now. We get worried when we hear things like that about the places we like. Because if you don't want it to ever be a detriment to where people are like, screw that place then.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Well, no, no, no. Yeah. Place is still awesome. Yeah, and tax sign's right. Not to give up our free of Swiga. Like, I don't like telling people about the cool stuff we got in a Swigua County because then it's just going to get more expensive. for me. But Bealings in Mexico, no entry, no parking.
Starting point is 00:57:42 You just pull off the road right there and you walk in and you're like, wait, we're selling apple cider donuts and you go, yes, you are. That's why I like these places. That's what we got. 90s are back, baby. 90s are back. Live is pretty 90s. Live is pretty 90s. Today at 1 o'clock over at the great New York State Fair. Sounds like in between storms. Like we're going to get these storms. And then it's going to clear. And like seven or eight tonight, you might get some more. Get over there in the middle of the day today. You could see the one and only Pauley.
Starting point is 00:58:18 There's no Orange Nation today because I'm doing Wilson Phillip. He won't go. No? I would be willing to bet money he doesn't go to this show. Okay. Not a lot of money? He's not going to Wilsonville. Especially if there's chance of some rain.
Starting point is 00:58:32 Yeah. I'm not going to go. Yeah, I didn't want to. They're on stage 1 o'clock today. Then Priscilla Block. Yeah. It's six. She wants to grab a bite to eat after.
Starting point is 00:58:45 And then Tori Kelly tonight at the big stage. I would say this is probably top mom jam of all time, right? You think so? Of all time, I think. Well, I mean, am I wrong? No, you could argue a lot of them. So this one, yeah. I could absolutely.
Starting point is 00:59:18 I mean, I, this or something from that Bonnie Rate song or a heart song. This isn't, if you say, get me a scoop of mom, top mom jams. That's a top mom jam. This is in the scoop of top mom jams. This would be in the mix. Of like, not like of all time of like a hundred songs. No, like the top. Top mom jams.
Starting point is 00:59:45 Yeah. I'm going to put Chennai-Aid's weight in the top mom jams. Agreed. Come on. Girls. Hey girls. You're just mini van bangers. Come on girls.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Let's go, girls. Let's go, girls. Yeah, I want to scream and shout. Ain't doing with no dishes tonight. I know all words. I would say this is a mini van banger right here. I think this is a mini van banger, don't you? Yep.
Starting point is 01:00:27 Yes, I do. These guys are weird. Have you ever watched like some live performances? Yes, I love it. They're weird. love weird people and weird things. Yeah, they are interesting. Like, do,
Starting point is 01:00:49 do this guy's voice. Fred from the B502? What do we consider divorced mom music? Good, you know, I, you know what? Dixie Chicks, all. Yeah, or Linus Morissette, yeah. Here's a mini van banger.
Starting point is 01:01:26 Mini van banger right here. 93 kills it, about what? He'll be the same. I made some sick guitar riff instead of whatever this is. There we. Yep, some hinder. Oh, do you think divorce mom's hinder? Depends.
Starting point is 01:01:54 Depends. Maybe not. I'm trying to get it all there. I don't know if I know. I'm looking at a list right now of some mom jams. Yeah. I don't know if I know this is a country song. Who is it?
Starting point is 01:02:12 Deanna Carter. Of the Carter family, famous Carter family? No, don't know that. He was working through college. Oh, this is a divorce mom song, maybe. It's a divorce mom one? Gotcha, gotcha, gotcha. Now, the most country, I think you can go with this,
Starting point is 01:02:29 for the B. Universal is like that Bonnie Raid song. Strawberry wine, is that this? Yeah, that's what this is, yeah. Let's listen for a second. When's this, one does this come out? What year was this, guys? I only have it on my playlist I'm 26
Starting point is 01:02:57 Nice No 90 I know it but not well 96 though bro I'm so balls deep And Dave in Oasis
Starting point is 01:03:19 Yeah yeah Good point I don't like there's room For anything else Good voice song Good for her Mini Van Banger Yeah
Starting point is 01:03:33 Oh that Yeah Minny Van Bangor Yeah Yeah This and the The other one I can't think
Starting point is 01:03:43 This one? The other one. This one's more mini van banger. Yeah. And if I don't have a new... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Go get the groceries for the day. Yep. This is more of a minivan banger. Oh, the first one was more mini van banger. Now this one is divorced mom. Oh, you think so? Ripping in her new car without the minivan. She didn't mean on damn kids.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Yep. Oh. Got them. Oh. You want the biggest? What, what Twitch said? Jew got them laid in college. Congratulations.
Starting point is 01:04:50 Congratulations. You want to know the ultimate divorce mom banger? Divorced Mom Banger. Oh, okay. I was like, what do you? Yeah, right? Oh, no, dude. Mom just pulled in.
Starting point is 01:05:15 Oh, dude. Hold on. Oh, no. She's listening to her. Mom's like sitting in the car while this plays. Hey, Mom, are you? He's not getting out of the van yet. Never mind.
Starting point is 01:05:23 Why don't you just leave her alone? No, no, no, no, don't go out there. Don't go out there. This would be this. Mom's listening to Uninvited in the garage. No, mom's listening to Alonis in the garage. Let's just, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, let me go to our room. Clean up, clean up.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Pick up, pick up. Did you get the chicken out? Oh, my God. We're screwed. We're screwed. We're screwed. And got him. She's just sitting out there in the van.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Yep. Looking straight ahead. It's not even loud. No. No. It's just, even quiet almost. Or she's crying. but just anger cry.
Starting point is 01:06:03 And we both had a little brother, so like as the older brother, you're like, hey, bud, why do you pick up your toys and why do you head back to your room for a little bit? Yep, there are those definite moments of, hey, do not. Trust. Trust. Hey, bud. Don't, all right? Whatever, just don't.
Starting point is 01:06:21 No. Don't. Not today, you're not. Not today. Don't. All right. So if you're looking for your Wilson Phillips, minivan bangers, today you get it. Wow.
Starting point is 01:06:33 Your little brother's about to run out the front door to go bother mom. No, no, no, no, no, but, bud, bud, bud, bud, why don't we go? Hey, it's right in the middle of uninvited. Let's go play Game Boy, bud. No whiskey show tonight, as we will be watching a wrestling show, and you should too. Come on over to two, the Red House Arts Center tonight, doors at six, wrestling starts at seven. Tickets available at flex wrestling. Live.
Starting point is 01:07:02 It's the rumble at the Red House. Do you have the card I've only know The Tommy Dreamer's going to be there The Spatchcock guys are going to be there Because I don't want to give any false stuff Because the one thing I saw somewhere Was Maddock versus Dreamer
Starting point is 01:07:16 And is the main event And that would be cool Because Madic is the guy that got in my face Let me see if I go to Flex wrestling I can go to And then threw me over the rail And beat my ass Let me see if it gives the card
Starting point is 01:07:30 Hambo, do you know the card? I'd like to see Tommy Dreamer get a little revoke for me. I don't know how to find a card. I'm on their Facebook page. And there's nothing on it? I see their event for,
Starting point is 01:07:44 you know, upcoming stuff. Maybe tonight's different because tonight is a TV taping. Okay, there's a, there's a Mud Creek Stampede championship match. I see that.
Starting point is 01:07:57 Were you seeing that on their Facebook? Yep. Okay. Adon Allen gets a shot against the champion, so there'll be at least a championship match. That's pretty cool. And if people are wondering,
Starting point is 01:08:08 Dreamer is signing autographs. Oh, yes. I'm sure you got a little extra scratch, but so bring. Yeah, Maddick did throw you on the floor hard. Yes, he did. Yes, he did. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:20 So that'll be fun. Listen, we'll see what plays out tonight. It's going to be a heck of a show. I don't believe it's streaming because it is a TV taping, so it'll be on TV later on. Like they're filming, Spatchcock is filming their season right now. Yeah. So this is an episode that will be airing, I don't know when their season airs, but next season.
Starting point is 01:08:37 I'm excited. Come watch. It's the only time I really get nervous is for wrestling stuff. Why? Because it's the most important, like, thing in my life is wrestling pretty much. So to be able to step into that world. You like it a lot. Oh, it's so cool.
Starting point is 01:08:57 I just want to get a decent night's sleep. Is that too much to ask? Tonight. Tonight. So. Oh, good news. If you need your liquid antacid, uh,
Starting point is 01:09:09 mylanta has launched their fall harvest brands. Oh, I might, well, pumpkin spice. Okay. And spiced apple cider. I would actually, because those are two flavors that aren't bad fake. Why would I need the,
Starting point is 01:09:23 a flavored ant acid? If you had liquid ant acid, like, like, mylanta. Pepto. Have you ever had that? I'm pepto. Oh,
Starting point is 01:09:32 If I could get up the apple one, I know what I think about it, but the pumpkin, I would at least try it. And I guess I am. And sometimes that works quicker for a quick acid reflux. I guess I am lying because I do like my tums to be berry flavored or like whatever that berry tums are. Those are good. The orange and yellow ones. Those are good. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:09:49 I like the mixed berry. Mylanta is launching two limited edition fall harvest liquid antacids, pumpkin spice and spiced apple cider. So if you, I guess, have too much pumpkin sprit. You can chase it with pumpkin spice. I guess. I don't know. There's too much pumpkin. Have some pumpkin.
Starting point is 01:10:07 They're available in 12-ounce bottles. Begin working on contact with a coating formula designed to quickly soothe heartburn symptoms. My Lant is good, but my body. In Wonderland? Yes. But it does that thing where after like two times, it's like, okay, we're immune to my lantana. Now we figured out that medicine. Thanks.
Starting point is 01:10:29 All right. What's next? Yeah. No, you don't need to build a tolerance. Reflux beats whatever medicine is beating it. Yeah. It adapts. It evolves.
Starting point is 01:10:36 It evolves. So all right. I guess that's for you. I'll try it. But everything is doing this now with spices. You're seeing... Jumping on the pumpkin spice. You're seeing shampoos and body washes and
Starting point is 01:10:49 and deodorants and all that stuff. And that's not just with pumpkin spice stuff. I got it as a gag, but he actually likes it. I got Chris Mountain Dew body wash. Ew. Does it smell like Mountain Dew? Yes, it does. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:04 Isn't that funny? But yeah, all these are... Yeah, you're right. Flips, pumpkin spice, donut flavored, covered pretzels are coming out in October. Everything does it now, man. And some of it likes pumpkin stuff, some of your pumpkin stuff ain't good. I don't like pumpkin stuff, so I don't really know. Well, and as someone that likes pumpkin and apple, we always forget that low-key maple
Starting point is 01:11:27 might be better than all of them combined. Maple-flavored things. Yeah. We don't really give enough maple love in the fall. The oldest got the itch for some maple cotton candy at the fair on Saturday. Now they're asking for it every day. And I go, Coco can make you some. I got that maple sugar.
Starting point is 01:11:46 And they asked, well, is it going to be as good as the fair? Yep. He's the cotton candy master. It is. I think it is. That one that you get from the, you know, in the fair and the maple place. In the building, yeah. booth.
Starting point is 01:12:00 Theirs is a little... It's different. I don't know how, but there's is a little better. It's like they use like real maple syrup somehow to whip it up. I like the maple candies, dude. I like maple more than any other... That's what I mean. It might be better than all those flavors.
Starting point is 01:12:16 And I'm blanking on the name of our friends, the maple people. Dutch Hill? Best maple candy you will get anywhere ever. Shout out Dutch Hill Maple. They got a great spot. Ever. And it's readily... I don't know they're at the fair, but they got those...
Starting point is 01:12:29 Yes, it's available in other places now too. So if you find the Dutch Hill maple candies, I'm telling you right now, you're going to thank me later. It's the best maple candy I've ever had my time. How do I wonder if I can look up a recipe how to make maple candy? I bet. Like, what a cow? What could it be?
Starting point is 01:12:44 You probably take brown sugar and that, what's that like liquidy goop stuff or whatever? Or maybe you don't need to. Gelatin or whatever? No, like the syrup that's clear. And then you boil it. Pectin? Is it like that? And then you boil it forever?
Starting point is 01:13:02 Or do you just boil maple syrup? And then you pour it into a, or not maple syrup, the sugar and you boil it into the, and you put it a little thing. And then you leave it to harden or whatever or not harden. Attach a candy thermometer, heavy bottom sauce pan,
Starting point is 01:13:14 bring maple syrup to a boil in the saucepan over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, remove from the heat, stir until it starts to get a little thicker, pour it the molds. That's all it is. It's not bad.
Starting point is 01:13:26 That's not bad. This is one of the ones, though, where I would be frantically googling halfway through because what I just did right there is what I do with most of my things with cooking. I just, well, I bet it's this. And then I just start doing it. And then if it's not,
Starting point is 01:13:43 I got to frantically Google and be like, okay, the sugar's burning. What do I do? So you gas, yeah, you gas. And then once you're already in it, and then you try to figure out. Then I'm like, all right. What should I have done?
Starting point is 01:13:52 We're in this now. You're reading the manual on how to land the plane while you're flying the plane. Like me that manual real quick. Yeah, let me see. Let me bring this down. Caro syrup? Caro syrup, yeah. What is that?
Starting point is 01:14:03 That fructose? What is that? Yeah, yeah, like that. No, it's literally boiling maple syrup. So just get some dope-ass maple syrup and boil it. I have some. So then my other question to you is this. You said you have maple sugar for your maple cotton candy.
Starting point is 01:14:18 Is it possible that people are using maple syrup? Is that a thing that can be done? Are they making it a candy? Are they making it like a... You could, but isn't this just maple sugar anyway? You could take syrup and dry it maybe, like harden it somehow. Bibbon says yes. And then crumble it.
Starting point is 01:14:40 And then... You can make pure maple sugar at home by boiling down a 100% maple syrup and then beating it vigorously until it crystallizes. Okay. And then you'll have maple sugar. So maybe they're doing that. You're buying like a flavored sugar. Maybe they're just using actual maple.
Starting point is 01:14:56 It's like what Fuzz gave me at, I think it was Fuzz, the maple sugar that she got for me that is actual, like it tastes, you know, different than what I use for cotton candy. So I bet if I use that, that's what. That's the next level. I think you're just not there yet. And that's a little priceier. That would be for like us where I'd make it for like, your kid and me. Showgirl 420 says, wish I could go try all the maple treats. They have maple slushies now too.
Starting point is 01:15:23 Yeah. Maple slushy. Yep, there's a ton of stuff over there. I had the maple lemonade that they have over there. That's banging. Maple slaps. I like this time of year because they do the apple cider slushies, too. I love an apple cider slish.
Starting point is 01:15:39 Every once in a while, you can find a good, like, I don't know, like a Stewart's or something that has a multiple slushy flavors. Burn, burn dairy. Is it burn dairy that does the apple cider? Yep. They do an apple cider. Yeah. Yeah, cousin Jay, maple cotton candies is my go-to.
Starting point is 01:15:54 It's good. However, losing the meeting real quick. Maple, Maple, Maple, Maple, Maple. Maple. Maple. Maple. Maple. Maple. And, and. And Maple. Going back to our friends at Dutch Hill Maple.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Dutchel Maple. Was I just stupid that I didn't know Maple was clear? Like that stuff that sap is just clear. Yeah, it just runs through that's got the slight tint to it. Why does it turn brown? Is it the boiling? It must. I know.
Starting point is 01:16:21 We never went back for part two. We never did. We only did the first class. Step one. I'd go back there. Heartby, that was so cool. Walking through the trees, you know, that stuff. Because they boil it down.
Starting point is 01:16:32 So the sap comes out like clear liquid. It was in that big vat. And they heat it up and that turns it brown. All right. Yeah, we should go back for section two of that, I think. Maple. So Wednesday, that means Lee Baldwin's here. Lee Baldwin's just bringing friends with him now, Lee.
Starting point is 01:16:47 Just traveling around. What do we got in the studio this morning, Lee Baldwin? Good morning, everyone. I've got Brian Frank with me, a longtime friend of my. firm and a friend of mine and he's in town from Miami and we met yesterday. We were talking a little business and so I thank you for letting us come in and we'll talk to you today a little bit. Yeah, so nice to meet you, Brian. Good morning. I'm nice to meet you guys too. I guess what are we talking about today? What's on the, what's on the docket? Well, Brian manages his own mutual fund,
Starting point is 01:17:16 so it's a publicly traded fund. Anyone out there listening could buy that if they wanted to. so and he's an investor and I met Brian about 18 years ago and I was just looking for somebody with some help on starting my own mutual fund. I was exploring that and I met Brian and Brian we hit it off. He was living in New Jersey at the time and he started his own mutual fund back when he was at NYU. Wow. As a college kid.
Starting point is 01:17:45 Wow. And so he share, I think he has a passion for what we do. like since a very young age. And so now he's made a really nice career out of it. And so I appreciate when he comes around. How does that happen, Brian? How, like, how old are you? Oh, I was 22 and naive.
Starting point is 01:18:03 22. Wow. And you're like, I want to start my own mutual fund. How do you do that at 22? Oh, you just have to be really dumb, I think. Or the exact opposite. We went, you know, we went into the SEC's website and kind of looked at it and started submitting documents to them.
Starting point is 01:18:21 and they came back a few months later and said, you guys really need a lawyer. You don't know what you're doing, but we can't deny you. You'll make it happen if you want to make it happen, and we just kept pushing. And then you're like, you're in New York,
Starting point is 01:18:32 so you're around these big Wall Street guys to probably see a 22-year-old trying to get in the game. Did you get a lot of pushback? Were they into it? What was that like? Oh, you know, they found it amusing, but they definitely didn't let us in the door.
Starting point is 01:18:46 And that's how we ended up in this area. Actually, we just got on the throughway and went out to where people appreciate small business and we didn't have to compete with the sharks and the rest is history. How many years it take till they got started to respect you a little more? New York. Yeah. Has it not happened yet?
Starting point is 01:19:02 I still don't have a lot of clients in the world. But that's okay. So what's that world like? Like, is it similar to your life? Like, just keeping an eye on what's up, what's down, what's hot, what's trending, that kind of stuff? I mean, he's an investor. So he is buying, you know, a group of stocks. in his portfolio. He's a value guy.
Starting point is 01:19:23 And so it's all about the research and calling companies. And it's similar to what we do, but we'll use mutual funds as part of building out a portfolio. And maybe, Brian, you can speak to what your process is, but it's looking under every stone. What is your process, Brian? What is that? I guess my purpose is to give people what they can't get by buying the easy stuff. So everybody knows how to buy Nvidia. everybody knows how to buy the S&P 500. My job is to give you something that's going to be different
Starting point is 01:19:54 and kind of diversify you, which is one of the first lessons they teach you in finance. So it's hard because I have to go where it's not exciting. So right now we're in things like Hershey's and J.M. Smucker. Yeah. Chocolate chips and uncrustables instead of the hot computer chips. And that's not where people want to be right now, but that's where the value is.
Starting point is 01:20:16 So you have to really stick to your guns. and know the numbers and go into that stuff, but I enjoy doing that. Well, I beat up Lee Baldwin a lot about AI, and I'm going to beat you up a little bit out of two, because to me it feels like a janga tower. We've taken all these things out of the bottom of the janga tower, and it's just starting to shake.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Do you feel the same way or am I being dramatic? No, you're not. I do feel the same way. They're spending an awful lot of money, and none of those AI products looks different from the other ones. Right. To me, that's a commodity. I don't see why I need to use one over the other,
Starting point is 01:20:45 and maybe they can't control the price of that, and the janget tower comes down. But that would be great for value investors like me. Yeah, it would be, rightly. Yeah. So, when you talk about AI, now you use it as part of what you can speed things up. Sure, yeah, I use it as a tool. But things can get ahead of itself.
Starting point is 01:21:04 And that's, you know. And it just feels like it's propping up a lot of things right now, and I'm afraid of what happens when that happens. But you got a good point. We're going to go back to uncrustables. We're going to go back to jams and jellies and things people are still going to buy every day. Right. And that's really what he does.
Starting point is 01:21:19 And in our business, to diversify, you have different categories. So he's in the value category. So it's really hard for him. I don't even know if he can buy a micron or an invidia because it doesn't fit into what he does. But what he does right now is actually been really good this year so far and over time. It's kind of like what Warren Buffett does is he stayed away from tech all during the internet craze, right? Because he didn't understand it.
Starting point is 01:21:45 He understands Coca-Cola and things like that. So he's in that category. I like having him, you know, his eyes and ears on to the ground on. So that's why we would use him in a portfolio. And what I wonder too about that, we're talking to Brian, and we're talking to Lee Baldwin's friend Brian here, is I'm going to give you a little tip, Brian. I've been pushing Ritz bits a lot this morning.
Starting point is 01:22:06 Ritz Bits Crackers, all right? I think we're about to have a resurgence of the sandwich cracker game. I'm feeling good about it. They've never dabbled in like a double-stuffed sandwich crackers, so maybe there's some growth there. I'm saying. I think you're on to something. I mean, he might push the bar up with his lines.
Starting point is 01:22:23 Yeah, much like how AI is holding up a lot of the market. I will be holding up a lot of the rich bits market. And as a whiskey guy, we and Brian and I were talking last night, you know, the alcohol market's down in the last five years, but you're starting to look around there, right? Oh, what are you noticing? We're starting to poke around. We think it's going to be a little bit of a cyclical upturn in beer
Starting point is 01:22:45 maybe in the next couple years. Oh, interesting. That'd be interesting to see. Well, all right, Brian, great to meet you. Good work. Anybody who's a friend of Lee's, a friend of mine, thank you for coming on in. Thanks, guys. Of course, Lee Baldwin, Dollar Investment Club.
Starting point is 01:22:57 Get in the game. Do not let all the billioners make the money. Make something for yourself. We do. We do get in there, dollar investment club. Dot com. Thank you both for stopping in. Before we get into your 90s and nine, before we get into our gaming stream, Cody.
Starting point is 01:23:08 I know Day's flying right back. Damn. Got a busy Wednesday ahead of us. Cool. A couple two examples. For more reasons for you to stay out of the water. Uh-oh. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:23:19 On this coast, Martha's Vineyard, the lady got bit in the leg. Nobody saw what bit her, but it looks like a shark bite. It was a shark bitey summer. That's for sure. A lot of people getting nibbled on, man. Beach staff helped the unidentified woman
Starting point is 01:23:35 who was in her 20s get AMS. She did not lose a limb. Oh, good. She just knows she got bit by something in South Beach. Man. And the jaw marks match what would be a shark. Man, yeah, they were a couple that they were tracking that I saw on some random things where they were like, oh, this shark is actually making its way. It's pretty close to like it was like New York City and some of those places.
Starting point is 01:23:59 Yeah. There's a great white shark right outside of New York City. And now on the other side of the country. More there. Well, what are we, what was he joking about? It's going to be America Ocean East or America Ocean West. Is that the next one I think? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:13 We'll rename those. Yep. So out in America Ocean West. Yep, Merrick Ocean West. A California woman suffered injuries after an otter attacked her for five minutes. They're vicious. Wouldn't get off her. They don't, yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:25 We played with those otters and those teeth are razor blades. That was, yeah, they, I can't imagine an adult otter's razor sharp teeth. She said it kept coming at me with teeth and claws while I was paddling in the water. Tried to push it away, but this thing was relentless. I bet. Nippy, nippy, nippy. If you're out there, especially. What are you going to do?
Starting point is 01:24:48 You can only, you know what I mean, smack it with your... Bystanders spotted her bloodied hands, face, and legs called first responders. She needed 38 stitches. 38 stitches. 38 stitches. 38 stitches, yeah. Yeah, dude. Five minutes of an otter attack.
Starting point is 01:25:03 Which is also... Also, it's in my search history. But that's a whole different... It's a consensual otter attack. That's the start, consensual otter attack. Thank you. Five minutes of a consensual otter attack. And he is so hot.
Starting point is 01:25:17 Oh, my God. 90s and nice starts with the boss tones. Gaming stream brought to you by Ryan. Phelps, auto sales, you are buying. From Ryan, it's K. Rock.
