We interrupt this program.
Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish.
They are not part of the legitimate business world.
What they do is they celebrate underachievement.
And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil.
And if I could find some way constitutionally to do away with it, I would.
Yay, Friday, Friday.
A D-D-D-A-D.
French Friday.
What?
French fry guys.
Remember the little French fry guys?
Wasn't that like a fry guys?
Yeah.
Oh, the fry guys.
Yes, McDonald's.
Yep, fry guys.
You could get those as Happy Meal toys, right?
Am I misremembering that?
Probably, just the little, because I had those little figures when they would give out the, like the McNuggets and stuff.
Yeah.
Just silly little characters.
Furry-fi guy friends.
Who knows?
They might be back someday.
Why are they furry?
for the kids
mold
mold
those are the ones
that were left out
that's why they're on that
mm-hmm
that little island or whatever
all by themselves
because they could talk
they had mold
we really have given up
on anapomorphic foods
we used to have the California raisins
right our food used to talk to us
and be like
I'm delicious
eat me
used to entertain us
we used to get a little show out of it
lazy ass food
that just sits around
Doesn't do anything more of me.
I haven't seen a singing cheeseburger in a real long time.
Right.
In a real long time.
Hey, talk about, get your cassidilla up and earning its goddamn keep.
Come on now.
Lottie's whole room used to be California raisins, he says.
Really?
You were a California racing time.
Lottie, that might be one of the weirder layers of your onion.
You're a big California raising.
I don't know of anybody.
I don't know if I knew anybody that was ever even like...
Lotties in chat, if you're just listening.
It was ever even like, hey, you know what?
Show I kind of like.
Yeah.
California raisins.
Yeah, like, you could have told me I'm into Trump,
who's really into Transformers.
Okay, that makes sense.
Really into Ninja Turtles.
Okay.
Ghostbusters.
Okay.
California Raisin.
That's what did it for him.
A couple
singing, dancing, jazz fellas.
Like an old bebop group or whatever.
I don't even really remember much about anything about California races.
A show.
Because there wasn't enough to decorate a whole room.
There wasn't enough content.
I can just picture the still images of them.
And that's it.
It was like a 30-second TV commercial.
Were they just promoting raisins?
He had pillows with arms and legs on it, Lottie.
Or was it like they promoted a campgrounder?
I don't even know.
Like they were.
Can we get the California raisins for our grocery store opening?
Oh, I forgot it was this creepy.
It's the claymation.
California raisins from the California Reasons.
And remember.
I should know that I'm hard.
Sounds better than what I got.
Remember, all of that existed to sell raisins.
Yeah, to make your parents be like,
we got to get them for them, kids.
Like, to, like, I guess imagine anapomorphic oranges now,
be like, hey, come buy oranges.
That was to sell raisins.
And it to the grapevine, yeah.
And I know Lifts is saying they were huge in the 80s.
I remember them being huge.
I just didn't remember there being enough merch for Lottie to decorate his entire room as a kid.
Lottie does.
It's just such a specific choice.
I did have, I don't know how many, but at least one of the action figures.
I remember having like a little guy.
That little plastic guy because that's what you did.
You had action figures.
But oh my God, no, I don't remember anything else.
It was a Michael Jackson mashup.
California Raisin's Michael Jackson commercial.
I've never seen this.
Oh my God, yes.
Jump in Twitch or the show.
That's the most 80s commercial I've ever seen.
This is unreal.
For those people who's listening,
it's a California raisin Michael Jackson.
But look how long it probably took.
They had to animate all of these
and then stop and move it and stop and move everybody in the audience.
Michael Jackson's waking up.
Must have been something I hate.
He was in it!
Yeah.
They got Jackson.
Again, just to sell raisins.
Just to sell raisins.
They got Michael Jackson.
I want to know what like their budget was.
Because they got Michael Jackson in the commercial.
Even if it was just a line.
That's insane.
How much money?
Did Michael Jackson get paid?
$25,000.
I mean, back then.
That's a lot.
But all he did was go, wow.
Wow, I must have a...
He, he.
And then laid back down.
That's why when we all get on our high horses and we're like, skibbitty toilet so stupid.
It is, but we also had be bob raisins.
At least that made sense of what it was.
It was raisins.
True.
As Michael Jackson selling us raisins.
True.
I can explain what a California raisin is.
I cannot explain what a skibbitty toilet is.
But just to know, if having done some of that,
weird just stop animation stuff.
That must have taken weeks and weeks.
Forever with every member of that crowd,
because every scene that have to,
okay, now make their hands.
Now, okay, now their hands are like this.
Yep, now you go a little bit more.
Make now all 100 of them a little.
Spin around a little bit, yep.
Okay, now, back this way.
Okay, now back this way.
Yeah.
Go back this.
Like, oh my God.
Great question.
Did you actually enjoy raisins lot?
Or you just enjoyed the gimmick of the California raisins.
I think you just liked them.
All right.
Oh, he loved raisins.
I like raisins.
Raisins are good.
That might be the best.
That might be the best Lottie layer we've uncovered yet.
I like that one.
That went all over the rest of us.
We're getting into Ninja Turtles.
Yep.
Ghostbusters.
Wrestling figures.
Star Wars.
Lotties like, put them damn raisins up.
No.
California Raisins.
I want them goddamn California Raisins.
It all circles back.
We all do it.
Lottie's looking for California Raisins.
Magnets for his car now.
Good morning, everybody.
If you're just tuning in, you're probably
confused how we got off the rail so early.
Lottie and Chad admitted that he had his whole bedroom decorated in the California Raisins as a child.
Not Transformers, not Star Wars, not Ninja Turtles.
California Raisins.
We went into a deep dive there during the commercials and Metallica.
They all have names.
I'm not going to go through the names again.
They did have names.
They all had backstories.
They were related to each other.
The guy who created them went on to do a ton of shows, like Rugrats and Hey Arnold and stuff.
So the jumping off point for a lot of people, Cody.
Let's see, whatever happened to them.
Who, the raisins?
They died horrifically in a plane crash.
California raisins died in a Pennsylvania farm somewhere, yeah.
They were flying to another gig.
Let's see here.
There was a marketing campaign that became too expensive to run,
and their nonprofit poured shutdown in 1990.
God. Well, yeah, you got to think that this is just like a stupid agricultural commercial.
Yep.
They don't have millions of dollars. They threw 25,000 at Michael Jackson to get him in an episode.
Oh, yeah, that's true. Yeah.
So a bunch of farmers are probably like, hey, we want to sell raisins, but you guys are spending way too much money.
I wonder what the last appearance was, or because it says it was July 31st, 1994.
But like, what was it?
But you know what I mean?
Like was it a random commercial?
And then that was just the last time they run?
Or was it aired?
Or was it something?
Did they make an inappropriate statement
an awards show somewhere and they got canceled?
And then that was it.
1994.
I mean.
Yeah, what happened?
Yeah, where'd you go?
How do you send off the California raisins?
And guys, by the way, there were so many people involved
in making the California raisins.
Like 20 different people.
The entire California Raisin Advisory Board.
Yep.
Yeah.
They had a Christmas album we learned.
It's just so weird.
They released the Meat the Raisins was the original, I guess.
Oh, Grunge took over.
That's right.
Bob is right.
Yeah.
So much like Hair Metal got killed off by Grunge, so did the raisins.
Yep.
Ozzy bit their heads off.
Their album included. Sign sealed delivered.
I'm yours.
Shotgun.
Green onions.
The raisins?
Ain't too proud to beg.
At the hop.
Get a job.
Cool jerk.
Tears on my pillow.
Tootty fruity.
Papa um,
mao mao.
Shabum.
And I heard it through the grapevine.
Of course.
Elk has their Christmas special on DVD.
So maybe you know what?
Maybe it's not that wild.
That lot he was sewed to California raisins?
No.
Yes, it is.
I mean it is.
Yeah.
Don't you be letting him off the hook.
Still, um...
That's just so funny.
Look at all these, these, just shows in,
that first commercial cost $300,000.
See what I'm saying? How did they pitch that?
Because, how did they pitch that to a bunch of farmers in the 80s?
$300,000.
Right? Well, who knows how much money that California Raisin Advisory Board had?
I'll tell you right now, I want raisins so bad right now.
So it's working on me.
I'm thinking about a box of raisins.
It's a full of raisins.
Who makes some sun, sunkissed?
There's several.
I just see red box lady on it.
What is that?
That lady that's sitting there.
I have a big, huge basket of grapes for you.
Yeah, that's been the same basket.
The same box of raisins my entire life.
Sunmade, sun-made.
Because get it, they sit in the sun and then they make them.
But that lady is definitely dead, though.
Make them.
The lady on the sun-made box.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
And we were talking to, Lottie says he wasn't mad when he'd get raisins in his
Halloween basket.
Me either.
If I'm opening up a bunch of candy,
you got raisins in there?
Quick snack.
Quick snack.
Because then you give me the chocolate covered raisin, dude?
Oh, raisinette's where it's at.
Oh.
My wife texted me, says, we have raisins at home.
If you want some, I got them to make some brand muffin.
So I got raisins waiting for me at that.
You go sitting there.
Do you like chocolate covered raisins or yoga covered raisins?
Yes.
Yes.
Yeah, me too.
All.
Sun Kist, or Sunmate also makes chocolate covered raisins.
They do?
I think they might be better than raisinettes, to be honest with you.
Maybe I'll get a little.
bag of chocolate covered raisins for the movies today.
I mean.
As we go on our movie date after the show today.
It'll be, well, no, they wouldn't be right there.
Raisinettes would be there.
I don't think they have the, but.
Raisinets.
Bring back California raisins.
There, I've sat it.
Bring them back.
We'll do a Friday night house party.
Doing an all New York City house party tonight, kicking off at 7 o'clock.
Oh.
Come on in, hang out with me.
I got a great playlist.
I was in chat last night during Cocoa Puffs.
I narrowed it down to about six and a half.
hours of music.
There you go.
So that should be fun to boil down to two hours tonight.
But I got some great tunes.
And, of course, any New York-centric request you guys have?
20 seconds of each, that's it.
That's it.
Boom, boom, boom.
Yep.
Well, I just started diving into, like, who?
Hey, it's New York.
We've got time we waiting around here.
I'm looking at it.
I'm listening to songs.
Yeah.
So that'll be tonight.
Gabba goals.
7 o'clock.
Twitch.tv.tv slash the show or the show.
F.m. last night.
Big football action as your...
Da-da-da-da-da.
San Francisco 49ers destroyed the Rams.
I thought the Rams were a good team, bud.
Rams didn't not have a good die, Mike?
Didn't you on Coco Puff say like the Rams could potentially go to the Super Bowl?
I still say by that.
Okay.
That's a...
27-7 last night.
Yep, that was a dismantling, if you will.
What happened?
I think it was just a matter.
matter of being over in Australia.
Oh, I forgot that that was the Australia game, Bob.
Yep.
The Niners, they were over there for like a week, so they had time to settle in.
The Rams just got there.
Oh, like you can't fly.
Yeah, that's like a 12-hour flight.
Yeah, so that was kind of stupid of them.
And then I guess Miles Garrett said his knee hurts.
They didn't have Aaron McDonald.
Matthew Stafford looked like he kind of didn't care because now he's won a Super Bowl,
which in that case, it's almost like, then should have retired, bud.
There can be a detriment to the team just because you can't hang it up.
But we'll see.
That could be a one-off.
That's all the time for teams like that.
And I forgot that it's Australia.
That's a whole bunch of variables.
If anything, it just showed that the Niners,
I think it was more about the Niners looking good more than the Rams looking bad.
They still got Jerry Rice on that team.
Is he still playing?
Yes.
Yep.
Six touchdowns.
Wow.
Joe Montaena.
Yep.
So then let's go through this.
Give me your opinion on these matchups.
Bucks at Bengals, your first game on Sunday.
Oh, no, sorry. Saints at Lions is your first game on Sunday.
What do you think about that?
Probably have a couple touchdowns.
You don't really have any intel on these teams yet.
You haven't seen them, right?
No, but just kind of knowing who they are from preseason and all that other crap.
Lions, I would say I'm not too high on the Saints.
You said Saints, right?
Yeah, St. Lions.
Buck's Bengals.
That one's a little trickier.
I think both are going to be in playoff teams.
But I want to say Bengals, just because I really like Joe Burrow.
But then Baker Mayfield always finds ways with.
games that are like shootouts.
So that could be like a 45-34 game.
Ravens Colts?
That'll be another fun one.
Both probably playoff teams.
A lot of one o'clock action.
Oh my goodness.
Why has so many games at one?
I think there's like three or four at four,
and then there's the Sunday night game
and then a Monday night football because they had two this week.
They had the Wednesday and the Thursday.
That's right.
That one, I can't pick Daniel Jones ever.
So he's quarterback, Ravens.
Okay.
Browns Jags.
I like the Jags.
I think the Browns are going to be absolutely awful.
Just awful.
Just awful. TITTS?
Oh, man.
No.
No, they'll have a couple moments because they have a couple of fun players,
but no, I think they're going to be battling for a good quarterback this year.
That same, Titans should be, but I think same.
That's going to be a who's going to have top five pick already, game one?
Who was I watching?
It was either a podcaster or a comedian.
And they were like, you know, the Jets are going to be good.
He's like, don't do this.
Don't.
Don't.
Don't do it.
Don't.
No.
Just don't.
Whereas, honestly, I could hear Giants fans being like, hey.
That's what Susan was saying, Giants have a year.
Giants could be a mini sleeper, maybe, but Jets, no.
Nope.
Bills at Texans.
Another fun one.
This week one is awesome.
I'm really excited to see the bills.
Texans I'm torn on.
I think the Bill's.
are going to be really good.
If they say healthy, really good.
Texans, same thing.
Who does Josh Allen have this year to throw to?
Who's out there?
They traded for DJ Moore, who is a little underrated,
but maybe a little bit past his prime.
Don't break another mic in my head.
In my head, I went, oh my God, don't.
They still have that Khalif Shakir,
Dalton Kincaid,
one of the best running backs and Cook.
So they've got some pieces.
Their defense has got some pieces.
So I think they could be good.
I hope so.
Falcons at Steelers?
Nah.
I mean, Falcons could be fun.
Did the Steelers fall off?
I know they were good for a while.
No, no.
They didn't fall.
A little, but just, it's, they have Aaron Rogers still.
Oh, that's right.
I forgot about it.
Aaron Rogers, the defense isn't as good.
Mike Tomlin's gone.
They don't have the running backs they usually like.
So, I don't know.
Bears at Panthers?
Yeah, I think bears with that one.
I don't think they have a great,
years they did last year because they were
unreal last year. Yeah. I don't
think this year, but I think still better than
Panthers. Packers at Vikings?
Oh, well, that's a fun
rivalry game. Uh,
I say Packers.
Who's their quarterback? Packers?
Jordan Love. That's why I couldn't, yeah.
That's why I couldn't put them in the playoffs last night at
Cocoa Puffs because I'm always worried he's going to get hurt.
Okay. Because they should be
okay, but then he always gets hurt
and I can't, Kyler Murray
is the quarterback for the Vikings now.
Yeah.
Dolphins Raiders.
That's the 4 o'clock.
It's 425.
Oh, geez.
Well, at least to see Fernando Mendoza.
Yeah, what's the story with the Dolphins now?
Because I remember they got rid of their coaching staff.
Everybody.
Now they have Malik Willis, the guy that was the backup in Green Bay, and they're going
all in on him.
They traded Jalen Waddle to the Broncos.
Tyree Kill is not there because he messed up his leg.
They have the running back, but they're.
They're going to be bad, too.
Cardinals at Chargers?
Well, that'll be maybe okay, but no, Chargers, I think.
Take that one.
I think they're going to be good this year.
I know you love Philly fans, commanders at Eagles.
Oh, great.
That's your mom's team, right?
The commanders?
Yep, big commanders fan.
I don't know.
I'd like to see them be good because I like Jaden Daniels for Washington.
But the Eagles will always get on, you know, looked at as underrated or,
oh, then we're going to be bad this year
and then they do really good.
So that's one of these years where people are,
I feel like maybe sleeping on the Eagles a little bit
as much as I don't want to say that.
And then your big Sunday night matchup Cowboys
at your New York Giants.
Without being a home or who do you like?
Honestly, no, because it's a rivalry game,
first game of the year.
You don't have any tape on anybody.
This could be one of those where it's like second quarter
and you send me a text and go,
hope things get better for you, bud.
Uh-uh.
I don't text you during Cowboys games.
21 to 3 is Jackson Darts throwing heaters.
Because I watch things live and he doesn't,
so I'm always afraid I'm going to spoil something.
Stuff like that I usually tend to, at least for a while,
until Elsa makes me take her out.
He likes to give himself some fast forward time.
Yep, that I want to go through commercials.
Whenever I'm watching football and a massive play happens,
I want to text him immediately, then I'm like, no,
he might not be at this part yet.
He might not be here yet.
And on Monday, well, I, Cowboys.
You think Cowboys?
I would imagine.
and I don't think the Giants are going to be that good,
but it's, again, Robbins.
Because you said last night that, you know, Homer aside,
you think the Cowboys will have a good year?
Honestly, their offense should be really, really good,
and their defense should be much better.
So, again, I think they're not on the same level as the bills,
but the same thing.
Everybody stays healthy.
Everybody does what they're supposed to.
George Pickens wants a gazillion dollars next.
year, well, guess what? The way to do that
is to ball out. Yeah, ball out.
But I'm sure they
get to, you know, some of the playoffs and then DAC
four pick game. And then your first Monday Night Football game of the season,
Broncos at Chiefs. Yeah, that I think it'll least be fun. I think people are
hating on the Broncos after last year.
Everything I've seen has them been like, well, down you're going to miss the
playoffs. I don't know, I think they're going to be pretty decent this year. That'll be a
fun one. And everyone wants to see him beat the Chiefs.
Who I think are going to be better than they were last year?
Lots of college football as well.
Good news.
For you guys, our friends over at Empire Recycling have provided us a pair of tickets to go see Cous Cal tomorrow.
I'll be giving those away this morning as well.
I think that's going to be a good game.
Yeah, you're excited about that?
I think that's going to be a fun game in the dome.
Good day to tailgate.
Go check out that end zone you want to check out.
Yep, that opens up at 2 o'clock I saw.
Tonight is the party.
7.
PM, twitch.tv.
slash the show
or the show.com for all of our links
as I'm going all New York City artists tonight.
It's messing with my, like,
no, because I wanted it to go into the running stimpy theme.
Oh, I kept waiting.
I was like,
oh, I didn't do it.
No, you're getting diggable planets right now.
All New York City music tonight,
seven o'clock.
On Twitch.
Come party with your boy.
I worked hard putting together the playlist last night.
You should just put the six-hour one on internet for everybody.
I can share the playlist.
Or this is a three-parter.
Oh.
A three-part.
Nah, I don't need to do that.
House party.
I don't need to do that.
Well, not like any second weeks, but for the next.
Well, the good news is all the music I added is just good house party music anyway.
So eventually all this music could get played at some.
point. There's just random deeper stuff
that doesn't usually make at the house parties.
Biohazard on New York City. Anthrax
out of New York City.
I could, crow mags will be on tonight.
Right. I've only ever heard of those.
Not a swear.
Sorry to dump myself there. You son of a gun.
You know who I forgot was from the New York City area?
Because I am counting Long Island to end a little bit north.
Flip mode squad, Buster Rimes.
It's from Long Island.
Oh, he is?
Yeah. I was from Long Island.
I had a couple surprises last night
I was making this.
It's funny how much
we paid attention to that
up until a certain point.
I mean, I don't anymore.
I don't know if people still do.
Where it was like, this guy's from here.
And you knew that going up.
Yeah.
About rappers and stuff.
You were like, he's from here.
Yeah.
Because they would tell you about it in their songs.
A lot.
50 cent tonight.
Jay-Z.
Wu-Tang, Beastie Boys.
because I don't know.
Cameron.
There's G unit from all of this.
Is the same or are they so only fitting?
This is what I thought.
Thank you for asking.
Because I don't know.
I did 50 cent.
Yeah.
And I was like, wait, is the game from New York?
No, he's from California.
That I knew, as I'm saying it.
But the other two, young buck and Lloyd Banks.
Mm-hmm.
I wish I didn't know that.
But that was your group.
That was your college group.
Well, what was weird is that I didn't really like them.
because I didn't really like 50 cents.
I liked Young Buck and Lloyd Banks in the game way better.
Okay.
So we're at the point where I was finding their mixtapes.
Yeah.
Which was.
Yeah, but.
But if you showed, if you said what, okay, you show me a photo of you in college.
Yeah.
And you say, what's he listening to?
Yeah.
What you're saying makes sense.
Yeah, that is true.
who is not this guy, that guy listens to Lloyd Banks.
Driving around in his 2003 Maroon Allerro on blunt rides.
Yeah, that guy, I don't know who, I never met that guy.
Might have been the day or two that I had corn rolls that I pulled into a ponytail because my hair was so long that even after the corn rolls, I could do it like Snoop.
In your oversized football jerseys.
Yep.
My God.
Yeah, that guy loves those artists.
He was all about it.
So that'll be tonight, seven o'clock come hang.
And Dave Matthews.
And Dave Matthews, right?
And Oasis, bro.
Yeah, and Oasis.
Talking heads, the strokes.
I got a whole bunch of music complaints.
That's going to be a good time.
Also happening today.
I don't know if you can bet on this.
I don't know why it's bothering me.
But an MMA fighter,
Cole Johnson,
has an organized fight today with an ape.
He's fighting a chimpanzee.
Don't.
I hope the ape rips his face off.
immediately. Don't you dare punch a monkey.
Me too. I'm mad about it.
How is anybody letting that happen?
I mean, it's probably in some weird
country. I hope it rips his arm off and
beats him to death with him. I've been talking
back and forth these dudes overseas and they
have access to a chimp
who's been attacking people.
This chimp is a large male chimp.
It's been attacking people.
I couldn't see a more perfect opportunity.
I want the scariest most aggressive chimp.
Because I don't want anyone after I do this to be
still, you know, saying, oh, it wasn't
mean one. No. I am going
to go to where these guys are, and
we're going to set this up, and I am going to take
this chimp and do
horrible things of this animal. You guys
are going to see what a human in his true
primal nature looks like.
I hope he rips your genitals off.
Yeah, what, dude? I hope this chimpanzee
rips your stupid genitals off, Paul Johnson.
Well, do you have it in a cage
and you're poking at it? Yeah. How is
it just attacking people? I don't understand.
Oh my God, I want this chimp to
end you, dude.
What a loser.
This makes me mad.
This chip isn't going to know anything.
I'm about to show you.
That what?
The lesser evolved form of you is lesser?
Because guess what?
It's going to kill you, Cole Johnson.
So he is in danger.
Like professors of...
Good.
Are saying, hey man, the physical risks to your human body are very real.
And guess what?
You think it's...
Yeah.
I'm glad I want.
on an aggressive one. No, you do not, because that means it's already raring to go.
Yeah.
So then you're going to poke it? Oh, man.
Yeah, and like, what country are you going to that's going to let you fight a chimp?
And where do they get the chimp? Who knows?
Are they just pulling this poor chimp out of the woods?
I don't think this happens.
He's not naming the country, I guess.
No.
It's supposed to happen today.
I don't think it happens.
Jimenez-in will not be sedated, he says.
There's no way this happens.
and we'll have his claws and teeth and the fight will take place in a large grass-based cage.
He added people with tranquilizers will be there to stop the chimp if it tries to kill him.
No, you pussy!
You want to fight a chimp, you fight a chimp.
Oh, what's the matter?
You don't get to have a crew with dark guns.
So you want to beat the ish out of it, but then when you're doing your little talk before,
but then big tough guy, I want the most tough aggressive chimp until I start losing.
Then I'm going to just tranquilize it.
And then we're going to trank it?
Fight the chimp, you bitch.
Fight to death.
Fight to the death.
You want to fight a chimp.
The chimp goes down.
Chim goes down.
But at least you go down to.
Yeah.
Johnson said his original video was made as a joke, but then he was offered a bunch of money to do this.
No, wasn't.
So he is flying, I guess, to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Oh.
I, man.
So he's going to fight.
Oh, my God.
So he's going to, I've seen that movie.
I've seen Congo.
Is he fighting an ape?
I don't know monkey science.
I don't know the differences.
It just says chimpanzee.
Like a gorilla or an ape?
It's not a little one.
Because in that movie, Congo, they're like silverback.
You know, those videos you see of like them watching them in the woods and they're like, don't move.
Dude, yeah.
Fight, go ahead.
Go fight that.
Go ahead, bud.
Like, this is the photo they have in the story.
So that's the size chimpanzee, I guess.
Oh, jeez.
What the hell?
Yeah, that is a chimp.
It's a chimp.
Ethan Clause.
But yeah, that's one of those ones that you,
so, all right, it's not one of the ones that you see in those videos.
It's the ones that you hear about that rips people's face off.
All right.
The chimpanzee is unlikely to understand what the fight is.
No.
Rather than a struggle.
No.
So these like experts are saying,
a chimpanzee doesn't know what a fight is.
No, monkeys don't know boxing.
They'll say the chimpanzee will think it's a game,
and then rather than play, it'll believe it's a struggle for survival.
Chimpanzees appear easily provoked to extreme violence.
Yep.
A chimpanzee threatened by a human opponent might escalate to a severe fight
that would very likely end up with a human injured or dead.
Unless you're a bitch who's going to have it trained.
Which I hope the tranquilizers take so long.
Yeah, dude.
So long to work.
Yeah.
You're a big tough guy with your shirt off wanting to fight this innocent chimpanzee
until it starts to win.
Right?
I don't know what sponsors the chimp-ass text line.
Good question.
Maybe draft kings, maybe somebody?
on there? But man, yeah, that's just
because again, it's not
going to know. Doesn't know? Until
the guy goes up to it and like
grapples it. Yeah.
And then it's going to get pissed off.
And you don't even know what past
experiences this chimp has with humans.
Especially because it's trauma it's gone through.
Yeah, it's attacking him for a reason.
Yeah. It might hate humans
because humans has killed his family. Yeah,
you don't know. There's a backstory. I'd watch the backstory.
Type of Batman-ish
it's got going on.
killed its dog like John Wick.
Monkeys got
lives.
And why can't it, like,
could a chimpanzee,
oh, I guess they're in a cage,
but I'm like,
couldn't you just calling his friends?
Dude, that would be,
like if this guy's in the woods
and this chimpanzee, yeah.
And then there's like 80 of them
just come walking out of the woods
and standing there.
You don't got enough tranks
for 80 chimps, you bitch.
That would be awesome
if right before the fight starts,
a bunch of them come out of the woods anyway
because they're like,
We want to watch.
Yeah.
Where's the monkey side for support?
It hears one of their chimp friends in danger.
Are those bleachers for us to sit on and watch?
It shows up.
Yeah.
And kills this guy.
I hate this guy so much.
I hate him.
I get it.
I get that it's a promo gimmick.
But I just,
I hope that every chimp shows up and rips your face and genitals off.
I wasn't really angry because I was like,
as soon as I heard about this when you said,
I was like,
this isn't going to happen.
Right.
But then I heard that video of him and his arrogance.
And that he's going to the Congo.
And just how he.
says it all.
Like, I'm sure there's villages who are like,
okay, yeah, I'll take money and we'll get you a chimpanzee.
That's what you want.
No, I think that once this gets
heard about,
people will stop it.
You think?
I don't think that somebody's going to let somebody
try to punch a chimpanzee.
I really wanted to do
Cole Johnson
mauled to death on Monday.
I wanted to do that story.
I mean, amateur MMA fighter,
Cole Johnson mauled to death by 30 chimps.
I'd really like to do that on Monday if we could.
Or even just the one, because he told him he was tough.
Oh yeah, just the one could mall in the dead.
In five seconds, it just hits.
I love for him to just the fight starts.
Yeah.
He walks up to it, kind of like jabs it.
The monkey kind of, okay.
He maybe like bear hugs it.
The monkey wriggles out, looks at him, just reaches up,
snatches his face.
Rips it right off.
And then just stands there.
Because it doesn't know.
No.
And like, I've only ever seen monkeys and chimpanzee.
I'm sure they'd kill it.
Yeah, of course.
I'd see chimpanzees in, like, captivity.
They're, like, 110% muscle.
They're just compacted muscle.
Yeah.
Anyways.
I hope he wins every stupid prize that got coming to him.
Stupid ass.
7 o'clock, Twitch.TV slash the show.
We celebrate the greatest city in the world.
New York City tonight's with the house party.
7 p.m.
We're all in chat, just kind of recounting that day.
It is the 25th anniversary, horrifically of 9-11,
and some of you are really young bragging that you were only in third grade.
Some of us were in college.
No, just you.
Sorry, oh, man.
So old.
I was a junior, I believe it was.
Yeah.
It was just like we're recounting how nothing made sense that day.
Nope.
It really didn't.
Nothing.
It was just, I can't explain what it was like unless you lived through it.
Just sitting it.
everybody's sitting around the TV just staring at it.
It was surreal.
Because after, you know, the half an hour of...
Cali was five. Nice, Callie.
Of horrificness, there was nothing else.
So it was just sitting in shock.
Like, you just know you couldn't go about your day.
For 10 hours. Yep, you just sat in shock waiting.
Because even though it was over, you didn't know.
Nobody knew what was next.
Yeah.
All day.
Yeah.
It was like Dune's was in seventh grade geography.
Dunes, you're that much younger than me?
You were in seventh grade?
Oh, Mama Nerd.
Sorry, Mama Nerd.
I read that as Dunes, my bad.
Yeah, I was telling Chad that I was in my dorm room, 226 for now.
My roommate came back from either breakfast or something.
He said, yeah, I guess like a plane or something flew into one of the trade towers.
And I go, oh, that's weird.
Then we put like the Today Show on or whatever.
Yeah.
And then the rest just, it just snowballed.
And it was the craziest things you've ever seen.
We'd all just gotten to school because again, ESM started later.
So, like, we had, I don't even know if we had even,
because the first one happened to what, 8.
Like 845 or something?
We might not even have been in homeroom yet.
Yeah.
Because I feel like Home Room Bell was like first warning 902 type deal.
So who even knows?
Yeah.
I think we might have just walk around the halls.
and then I think we went into Homeroom.
They flip on the TV because you wait before like the switch to flip for, you know, the TV, the school news.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I think before it even got to it, it was that.
Everybody's locked to the TV that day.
Nothing made sense because, you know, it wasn't just Manhattan.
It was Shanksville had their issues that plane went down in Shanksville.
There was the Pentagon.
So you're like, what's going on?
You didn't know what was going on.
I mean, if you're ever down in Manhattan,
I encourage you guys to go to the,
I don't know, the technical,
like the 9-11 museum or whatever it is,
it's powerful, man.
Yeah.
It is powerful.
That right there where they're out on the show, yeah.
The fountains are crazy,
but like the museum itself is crazy.
Just seeing all the people in, like,
memorializing the people and their names,
it's just really important to see.
They're, surprisingly, is a very,
I don't know what you call it.
Not a nice piece,
but there is over in Duet
in front of the Duet Town Hall,
if you go where the original Trappers is,
that kind of back road,
they have like a memorial over there,
and they have pieces of steel and everything.
Yeah, those are all around.
It's crazy to see the memorial they've got to really, like,
look at it, go there it is.
Yeah, you're on the grounds of where the towers were
at the museum.
They have pillars that are still standing from the towers in there.
They'll take you through the whole day.
It's just I have like a sad nostalgia for it because it feels like the last time we all came together as a country.
And it was for a horrific reason.
Yeah.
But it was like we all came together.
Like we're up.
We all like, I don't know what you guys did, but we all went to the quad at my college and we had a candlelight vigil.
And I just remember looking around and being like, oh.
I don't, I don't remember.
Yeah.
What we did following, because I was in high school.
Mm-hmm.
And then pretty soon after that is when I snapped my leg in half.
Oh, wow.
So there's not much.
Wow.
That happened in like November of that same year.
Mm-hmm.
So that was not a good couple months.
Yeah, you guys have so many stories in chat right now.
I just, and it's good to get it out, and it's important to talk about it
because it was the worst thing to ever happen in this country on this, on this soil.
Yeah.
We lost a lot of people, and it's just something to,
remember, you know?
No.
You know?
It's a sad day.
It's a very sad day.
I mean, I don't want to, like, trigger people by playing clips.
I have clips.
I mean, like, I have, who is this?
The morning of, I have this, the radio breaking the news.
This just into our newsroom, a plane has crashed into the World Trade Center.
Another plane just hit the World Trade Center.
Two planes have smashed into the tower's minutes apart.
This plane flew directly.
into the second World Trade Center.
We now have reports of a fire at the Pentagon.
I just watched a plane crash near the Pentagon.
Oh, my God.
The entire World Trade Center, the South building just fell.
Just crumbled from the top.
The building just disappeared in the smoke.
A large plane crashes in Western Pennsylvania.
If this is indeed connected to what has happened here this morning,
it is quite clear that the United States is under attack.
Oh, my God.
The second building appears to have gone down.
Yes, you're absolutely right.
second building that has gone down.
A situation that started bad just gets worse and worse and worse.
Clearly we're in the middle of the worst ever act of terrorism directed at the United States
on domestic soil and it may not be over.
I remember like, I don't know, I don't know if it was the spring or, but it was soon after
that I went down to the city for a reason and they were doing this thing where they,
remember when they projected the lights?
Yep.
So they had those giant lights going up.
It was still rubble, and they had lights in the rubble.
Like, the rubble was still there.
Yeah, yeah.
And the lights were shining up, and I remember me and my buddy Sean Graham were there.
And I don't know if my wife was with me or not, but we went down to the, like, we have to go.
Yeah.
Pay our respects or whatever.
Yeah, if you're there.
And we go down there and there's like, it was surreal and you just started crying.
Oh, I bet.
And as we're, like, you just can't stop.
You couldn't stop.
Even if you don't have a connection to it.
it other than seeing it
I didn't but it's like I have a connection to it
as an American I have a connection to this
and I remember an FDNY
fire truck
like
playing music or something
and like it was doing like a lap
and it was just the most powerful image man
I can't even imagine it was a lot
listen I'm not going to bring on everyone's
not everyone's morning but it's
it's the biggest event that's ever happened
in America it's important and it
obviously is important
to me and Cody and just remembering these people who he lost that day and and and the PTSD it
has given I think everybody in this country you've all got your stories you all remember exactly
where you were when it happened and for once they all started you know the air started having
planes again how weird that was to forever for every single plane you saw for weeks you were like
that's that's coming down my wife to this day cannot
have a plane fly over us. It gives her PTSD.
It was the weirdest thing to see a plane and be like, oh my God.
But, you know, it's good now that to be able to not celebrate it, but remember it.
Honor it.
Yeah.
See, and just try to remember what we felt like as a country then.
Yeah.
Like when we came together, not to get on my soapbox, we're all fighting all the time.
We're so divided over stupid. There's people that divide us for a reason.
So for their own financial benefit.
And you go back to that period in time.
We were all gathering together and forgetting all that stupid crap and just, you know, remembering that we are all Americans, you know?
It was a sad day.
Something changed that day, unfortunately.
And I don't know if we ever come back from it, but very sad day, as we remember those we lost.
All right.
Anyways, let's get back to a fun morning radio show.
Cody, Twitch.at TV slash the show.
If you want to share your stories, I'm happy to hear them.
I know it's important to get it out.
It does feel cathartic.
So please feel for you to share your stories on the text line, share them in chat.
whatever you want to say, we'd love to hear from you.

We're talking
Giving our dog's pizza crust
Freddy doesn't understand how little he is
So he tries to eat the entire crust
And then he inevitably vomits it back up
And then I got to clean up dog vomit
No he doesn't eat it after
Well sometimes
But then sometimes he gets scared
Like he didn't know why that just happened
Yep
He'll go cower on the couch
Jughead would do that he'd eat his food too fast
And then he'd throw it up
But it'd be, it'd look like someone just dumped a pile of food there.
And then he'd look at me and, like, look at it.
And I'd be like, go ahead, dude.
I don't care.
To your food and your puke.
And you would just eat it.
Just eat it.
I'm careful.
And then he wouldn't throw it up the second time.
Gross.
Gross.
Have it at it.
House party tonight, 7 o'clock.
Dog vomit edition.
Now, it's all New York City tonight, baby.
Twitch.com.
or the show.fm for all the links.
Speaking of food, 30% of daters
admit to accepting romantic dinner invitations
just for the free meal. They're calling it foodie calls.
They're like booty calls, foodie calls.
Yeah, hell yeah. No shame in that?
I, no. If I were
somebody that got asked out on a bunch of dates like that,
why not? Can you have free dinner.
Yeah, if you're like an attractive man or woman and you can get free meals,
go get your free meals.
Yeah, because you have,
there's no obligation.
It's the implication.
But yeah, it's not like,
well, if I go on a,
if I go out to dinner with this person,
and that means we have to date or I have to do sex to them.
Okay.
You just have some casual conversation,
get yourself a dinner,
and that person wants to pay for it.
Yeah.
So it's just like a friendship kind of meet up.
Yeah.
Like, we ain't going to rub parts.
We ain't going to touch gemitals.
Yeah.
But we are going to have a nice, delicious meal.
Yep.
They serve a purpose.
They aren't meant to lead anything serious, like you said in chat.
No shame in a foodie call.
Yeah.
And now people are talking about a very similar phenomenon, like I said, the foodie calls.
When someone agrees to get a date only for the free meal where someone sets up the date,
they maybe explain, hey, I don't know if it's going to lead to anything, but you want to get something to eat?
Right.
Why not?
But still, yeah, because if I were like a lady, I would get free drinks from dudes at bars or whatever all the time with how sleazy dudes are.
Oh, for sure.
Yep, taking your money.
For sure.
Why not?
I don't, I, uh, have you ever done that?
Like, I've never done that.
Again, I've been in the same relationship for 20-something years now, but.
Gone on like a food.
No, like, buy somebody a drink at a bar, like that you, but you don't know?
Like, like, hey, I like that lady.
Yeah.
No, no, I have not.
Is that like only a TV or movie thing?
I don't know.
I feel like dudes do it.
But I also, I am very.
Rarely, if ever, in the position of being at a bar like that.
If I am...
Oh, gotcha.
If I am, I'm with somebody already.
Or two, I'm probably there just to, like, order wings so I can get them immediately.
So they're hot and I take them home.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Like, I've done that, gone to a place, sat at the bar, ordered my food to go.
That way I can take it and be like, oh, you're right out of the kitchen.
Yeah.
You're fresh and hot and ready to go.
I'm not to worry about, you know.
The weight.
I had someone buy me a drink at Lakeview Lanes and Fulton.
That's true.
That's true. And the bartender was confused.
I would have played that up.
Stop.
No, they didn't.
If you don't know that story, I was just at Lakeview Lanes.
I don't know.
My kid would maybe there for a birthday party or something.
Yeah.
So your boy's obviously going to get some chicken wings.
Why not?
Because Lake View Lanes and Fulton are sleeper chicken wings.
Going on.
All right.
They are.
They are.
So I'm sitting there eating and the bartender comes over.
I forget it was a beer, a cider, or whatever.
and they're like, yeah, a guy wanted to buy this for you?
Awesome.
And I'm like, huh?
And like, the bartender doesn't know why somebody would buy me a drink.
I don't know who bought me that drink.
Thank you again, whoever you are, for buying me a drink.
Thank you.
It was like a year ago, maybe two years ago, but.
I mean, I've had people get a stuff when we're at things.
Yeah, if we're at a thing and with Josh and Cody from the radio, that's very common.
This was just, I don't know who bought me the drink.
The bartender served me the drink.
Yep.
But maybe in that moment the bartender thought I was very hamilton.
thought I was very handsome and I was like,
Hey, you.
Thank you.
No, not so much that.
I get weed.
Oh, you, you really?
I can get weed.
There's times where I'm not even at a thing.
I'm just like somewhere and someone's like,
yo, hold on, what's that?
I got something for you.
And I'll bring it to you?
And I'm like, yo, this is mine.
I've seen you a couple of times here.
Chuck this out and they'll just give me.
That's awesome, dude.
Thank you.
Yeah, I've seen that happen a lot.
Thank God it's legal now because we've just been sitting at events
and people will drop baggies and
Nugs right in front of them.
Yeah.
Just Cody.
We'll kick off for you.
Cody.
And he's like, whoa.
It's all right.
It's all right.
Malfire says, aside from my spouse, no one has ever bought me a drink.
Or no one's bought me a drink in ages.
I buy you a drink.
We'll buy you a drink.
We'll buy you one right now.
Ben says, I buy drinks for friends at the bowling alley, dudes and chicks.
I just do it to be nice as I'm waiting for takeout.
That's nice.
I don't have friends.
I don't know who would buy for him.
Oh, I would do that.
That'd be fun.
If you saw somebody you knew over or whatever, make it awkward.
make it awkward.
Yeah, if I was rich, I would cover people's tabs and not tell them all the time.
We'd have the bartenders bring over like something weird and be like,
the guy over there said that your face makes him all sorts of tingly.
And then they look up and it's me just,
or just like make up some weird backstory, like thanks for last Thursday.
Can you send that guy a drink and Tom?
Thanks for last Thursday.
Yeah.
What happened last Thursday?
Oh, he'll know.
Yeah.
Thanks for the oral last Thursday.
He'll know.
That would be my quiet flex.
If I had money, I would like to be like, cover that tab.
Put it on my card.
Buy them drinks.
You don't do that.
Right.
You know them?
No, I don't know them.
No, but I would.
I'd like it.
But cover it.
315.
364, 1009 K Rock Texan.
Are people buying drinks for you?
You're buying drinks?
What's going on out there with the foodie calls?
Hughes, Cal at the, don't know.
330 game.
You can get that coverage in the Mohawk Valley right here on K-Rock or Brostat TK-99.
It's got you covered.
Right here in the Syracuse.
area and
I got a pair of tickets to give away.
Right now.
All right.
That's going to be packed.
Those are prime tickets right there.
This is a big game.
Cales, really good?
They're not really good, but they're good.
And last year, they could have been even better.
So this year, there's a
possibility, but it's just a cool team to have in the dome.
I don't think they've been here in
a very long time.
Then we fly to them last year, so it's better?
I think so.
And it's the first test.
It is.
whatever. This is the start of the season for real.
Let's see it. Let's see it. All right. If you want to be in the dome, all you got to do is text
the K-Roc text line 315-36-4-1009 Q's.
To the K-Roc text line presented by Empire Recycling.
Thank you, Empire Recycling, for giving us those tickets to give away.
You know what sucks about the K-Rock text line?
Is that my brain, as it deteriorates in my older age?
Yeah.
When people ask for my phone number, I give them the tax line.
sign. And I have to say, wait, no.
You can. It's readily available.
It's right there.
Just this week I was like, they're like, okay, can we get a number to call you back yet?
Yeah, it's 364, 1009. I go, hold on.
Perfect.
No, that's just a number.
Nope, that's it.
That I say a lot. It's not my number.
You get random doctor's confirmation on the text line?
Yeah. It could happen. Could happen as my brain turns slowly to Jello.
Thank God we don't have like an auto response of like.
Like, yeah, rockers, thanks for rocking out with your.
Yeah, right.
Well, I'm going to set that up now.
Krock text line 315364-101.
Powered by Q's nutrition.
Stop in there and see our girl.
Before the game.
She was delivering yesterday.
I saw that.
Saw that, boy.
We are a show for hot tub people.
Good morning.
It's K Rock.
John's got a hot tub.
For people that like chest hair.
90% of our audience have hot tubs, apparently.
Good morning, everybody.
You really do.
Happy.
Friday. They got a newsletter that comes out. They talk about the show. Good, are you?
I figure they're going to have a party. They have a get-together and gatherings. Hot tub house party.
Absolutely. We never did our house party over cousin Jay's. Put that on the calendar for next year for us not to do again because we just forget to do things.
We could. We could. We could. This pool's heated too. See? Cousin Jay. Yeah. He's bawling. Set it up next year.
Trying to explain to my cousin that he's set up. He's screwed himself over because he has this.
like Snack Shack in his front yard now?
He's going to be the house.
So now come Halloween, he's going to be the house.
Yep, he's going to be the house.
Jay, you can't be like a little Twix house.
You can't be like a Snickers bite size house.
It's because they all trust you over there.
You set a precedent.
You could, you're almost going to have to make like little baked good gift bags type
deal.
And he's already set the president, my cousin, Jay.
Precedent.
Here's what he did during the pandemic.
He did one of those tube things.
where you put the candy of the tube and it rolled down?
Yes, he did.
Did you see what he did last year?
I know, I can't stop watching Crane Guy.
Well, he's going this way now.
I just want to know where you're going.
But no, I might.
What do you do?
He had this grass wall looking thing.
He's going to be.
I got to see what he's doing back there.
Is he going to lift?
All right, focus.
Last year and Halloween, what did he do?
Crane guy, if you're listening to the show,
please tell me what you're doing.
I got to know.
I got to know.
I got to know what you're doing at the building.
He had a grass wall.
Like, you know, we have that stupid grass wall over.
here. He had a fake one of those.
And then when you'd come up with your bag,
a hand would come out of the wall and he'd give you
the candy. He's crazy
like that. That's awesome. We are going to own
a pop-puck horse at some point in my life.
Oh, I'm sure. Because he's good at that kind of stuff. I want to
do something, but of course the S-U game is
the one I want to kind of see the most.
That's right. It's on Halloween. And last year for the first time
in like 10 years,
they said they did trick-or-treating
up in my apartment complex.
Because that I think would be the
move. If you start over where my buildings are, where there's only a couple of buildings,
because, you know, kind of, you know, further back than everybody, then you go back towards
where everyone is, you could have like a hundred pound bag of candy with how many buildings
end up being in my total area. And they did it last year. Have people kind of traded in neighborhood
trick-or-treating for trunk-or-treats now since the pandemic? I think so. See a lot of people doing
trunk of treats. We talked about that last year where
then we had like 80 people be like, yep,
we're doing this trunk or treat for school, this
one for the neighborhood, this one.
Oh my God, you're right. You can trick or treat more than Halloween.
And then we have to trick or treat. So there's like
you can do a tour. Yeah, there's like four different times
we have to trick or treat. But you know what? If I was a kid,
hell yeah. And there's trick-or-treating this weekend, right, cousin
Jay? It's up in like...
Atterondex. The Adirondex? Yep.
What is that? What? Is he going to the
campground to do?
that? Hold on. I want to note the enchanted forest.
We were talking about this yesterday. Enchanted.
Well, Enchanted Forest thing is a little different.
Type in the campground.
Campground. Yeah, the Old Forch camping. They do a thing
where they have all of the campgrounds
if you want to.
Halloween Autumn Adventure.
Is that the Enchated Forest thing?
The Old Forge camping resort.
Yeah, they, because my parents... Friday's and Saturdays
starting in September. My parents used to go up
that up there for this. They would
have everybody get all decked out and then
like there would be, they're like,
a parade or the kids would go trick or treating.
Because up there, you've got to think there's a hundred little cabins and stuff all right next to each other.
That's true.
If you're looking for a fun way to soak up the fall foliage, well, getting in the Halloween spirit,
six Saturday event is happening.
Autumn Adventure dates are next weekend.
So the 19th is the first one.
What are they going to have?
This year they will have fan favorite rides at the Carousel, Tilt the Whirls, bumper cars,
right alongside the spooky haunted train.
Oh, they're going to set up the train to do like a thing.
So this is right inside Enchanted Forest.
Looks like it.
This is this year's Enchanceancement for us.
That's cool, man. Tickets just 15 bucks, dude.
That's so cool.
Calypso's Cove Family Park is also open Saturdays.
What do they have batting cages and stuff?
Everything.
Batting cage.
Bumper boats.
A weird like zip line tour and thing.
They've got a lot.
If you haven't been up to Calypso's Cove in like 10 years,
it's tripled in size.
That's awesome.
That's fun for the fall time.
It's so cool up there, man.
And it's not just enchanted forest.
I know that's kind of what I always talk about up there,
but Old Forge kicks it year out.
Dude, I love it.
I'm so looking forward to my Adirondack Rail ride.
I'm doing that car.
Yeah, you're, that's going to be fun.
That's going to be fun.
I'm going to drag my poor children while they leave?
He left, so it's just back there.
Oh, we're going to go play with it then.
He left it.
I'm going to play with it.
No, we're going to do one of those things where you, like, do like the old-timey bike rides but on the railroads.
And I wanted to do it in the fall so I can look at the Adirondack foliage because I'm like that.
And it's already starting to turn, so it'll be peak.
And bring the kids up there and make them pedal a bike with me.
Oh, we can pedal the whole time.
Yeah, well, we've got to paddle?
We're going to put a whole time.
But if this is happening too, I can make a whole day out of it.
I'm going up that way.
I'm how close they are, but I'll pop over to.
I think it's a little chunk, but not.
That's fine.
I'm going up that way anyway.
Cares.
I don't go check it out.
Get a hotel room or something up there, man.
We can make a day of it.
I don't mind.
I like doing turn and burns.
It's fine by me.
That's fun.
That sounds fun.
Well, there you go.
Now you got all your fall activities planned.
Shout out to our friends up in Enchated Forest Water Safari.
Water Safari stopped.
Enchated Four is still happening.
Yes, exactly.
Although, I don't know how.
You have to do some brain thinking, but there's got to be a cool ride.
One of those you could do in the fall.
What one?
Get wet at your own risk.
But I don't set up.
That's something.
I would do a lazy river.
I'm just sitting in the laser river.
They could heat it up enough.
If you're not heating up any of the other rides,
could you make that one like...
Super warm, like 90?
Right, then you could do just float around in 90 degree water.
I mean, it might be a little cold, but...
Maybe something fun.
It's all AI generated, but my feed has been sending me like...
Kind of like backroom stuff, but lately it's been a lot of lazy river content.
But it's like people who have designed lazy rivers,
but like in a town.
So like imagine like Venice, Italy,
but it's a lazy river
and then you go to the Applebee's or you go to the...
You're just floating around like,
I need to go home now from the mall.
Just get your inner tube.
Fuzz.
All the fall things or whatever, Blink 182 said.
Yeah, we get all the fall things.
Yeah, dude.
Take off your pants and look at the leaves.
Yeah, whatever that is, whatever that is.
Dude, we've got to get a hot tub, I think.
We're talking hot water.
All right.
All right, right.
Just float around.
You can do jet skis in like rivers though, right?
Yeah, yeah, and I mean, it's still a little like, oh, and lakes, but it's still a little like, I don't want to fall off.
Good morning, this is K Rock.
We were just, uh, Jojo was in our chat talking about different, like, I was explaining to Cody that all these cruise lines have bought up islands down in the Bahamas or wherever.
Why?
And they just put giant water parks on them.
It's insane.
But Cody would have to get into a cruise ship and go across the ocean to get there.
If all the islands were like kind of close together and one cruise line was like,
it's the 10 water park tour.
For, you know, a week you just bounce around.
You might get me on that boat.
But that initial trip from here down there makes me want to throw up.
And I'm sure it's not like, I'm saying this as like a fantasy.
Yeah.
But like 20 year old Josh would have loved the job because they live on the island and then work at the water park during the day.
So when you're on, like, the top of that, whatever, water park, you can see, like, their apartments.
So I was like, think about being, like, 21 years old.
Right.
You're on a Bahamian island.
I'm sure they've got.
Work in the water park all day.
Then back, and the water park closed at five.
Yeah, I'm sure they got, like, not restaurants, restaurants, but I'm sure restaurants and things for them to do.
Yeah, dude.
That would be neat.
Because I, I mean, I get jealous.
I mean, not now because I'm 40, but where they do that in for, like, enchanted forest.
Because a lot of them are kids from, like, kids from, like,
Canada and stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So they've got like dorms for them and how sick would have been be in that age.
Like, yeah.
And just being like, okay, going to live by myself for the summer with a bunch of other teens at the water park.
Dream job, right?
Like, damn.
In the Bahamas.
But the weird thing about the Bahamas is I think they just randomly get the horrible weather as well.
I would imagine that, yeah, there's probably times where they got in a bunker somewhere.
And like I'm all saying in chat, he's saying that he was on a cruise.
and they couldn't dock because it was too windy that day.
So you're probably going to be like, wow, I paid all this money to go to Cocoa K and now I can't.
I had a perfect day at Cocoa K.
That would suck.
But all those, they look fun, man.
They look crazy, just looking at random pictures of them.
Yeah, that's the Norwegian cruise line island.
Cocoa K is the Royal Caribbean Island.
They all just buy up these islands.
Insane.
They're like, I'm going to buy that island.
But it's worth it.
That's why I'm a blessed man.
When I'm on my deathbed, I'll be thinking of all these memories and all these great memories.
I made with my family and that'll make me happy.
You're probably thinking of weird, like, circuses and zoos and aliens.
Who knows on your death bag, you're all messed up.
Oh, yeah, all the synapses happening.
You're true. That's true.
It'd be like a mushroom trip, probably.
Yeah, yeah, you think back that, wow, I was able to go to these places.
Yeah.
Can you imagine the crew, though?
They're like, wait, where are we building this next water park?
That's the other thing.
It's like, how do that?
Oh, Bahama Island.
Yeah.
So-and-so resorts bought an island.
We're going to put a water park on.
So here's what we're going to do for six months.
We're going to need you.
We're going to ship you down there.
We're going to live on this island.
Yeah, that's the other thing I feel bad for.
Like when you're on a cruise ship,
this staff has been working this cruise ship for like months
and they haven't gone home.
I feel bad for them because it's like they're generally not for,
they're generally from like impoverished areas,
but they got a great job on a cruise ship.
We watched like that, the below deck.
And it's not the same.
But it's similar.
Those crews are out.
We're away from their families.
If they have a family.
But, you know, you see the smaller examples of, yeah, they're not near anybody they know for forever, really.
And then you see the ones that always interest me where, like, they'll dock.
And one of the guys is kind of having a hard time with the crew.
And he finds a fishing ship.
And he's like, they offer me a job.
I'm going with them.
Screw this.
Those are a couple episodes.
And they're like, what do you mean?
You're just going to hop on another boat for them for three months?
Free spirits.
I love watching free spirits.
because I'm not a free spirit.
Like these guys and gals
who will just live in a van
and be like, yeah, I live in a van.
Well, I...
Driving around in this van.
My very first question is
for those, that guy and the van people,
I'm like, don't you have to like
pay your Discover card every month?
Like, how do you pay your bills?
And don't you have to like do responsibilities?
That's what I never understand.
You're just out on a boat
or you're just cross-country vaning.
You don't have...
Because there's people...
I have to make a phone call and pay a bill.
You know, like, I don't know how people do it.
They probably a lot of them, like a lot of them are like trust fund kids.
They don't have to do that.
That is true.
But there are people that like I saw a guy coming back to the cruise ships who after the pandemic, he was allowed to do remote work.
So he just moved on to a cruise ship.
Yep.
And he would be on his balcony, on his laptop for eight hours a day,
zooming in or whatever, and then the rest of the day he's on the cruise ship.
Yep, just nuts.
They can just kind of.
Or these families that like have a bus.
They like, we live in this bus and we travel around.
Yeah.
Generally that, like, they've got some kind of wealth from somewhere we don't know about.
Yeah, reason for being able to do it so easily.
Mm-hmm.
No, I always, every time I watch those shows and you see different situations like that,
like, oh, you're just, after this, you're going to hop on another charter.
Yeah, there are people that don't live carefree lives out there, Cody.
Not you and me.
No.
Not you and me.
And we're pretty reasonably blessed if you look at our lives.
Yeah.
Pretty good lives.
Yep, but I've been able to do...
There's people that are doing...
Have way more chill lives than we do.
Yes.
But I've been able to do everything I've ever really wanted to do.
There's no, like, dream.
I mean, there's the big ones, but...
You know what I mean?
Like, got to sit next bread hard at hockey.
Got to go to that Yankee game.
Yeah.
Got to do football stuff that don't ever get to do.
Got to wrestle, like, punch in the head by Tommy Dreamer.
What you're saying is, I've made all your dreams come true.
Tell the people.
Tell them.
Tell them.
Yes.
Yeah.
says my cousin was a cruise ship IT guy went everywhere and got paid for it.
And you're just making sure that people got some internet on the boat.
And even if they don't for a while, you can just be like, yeah, in the middle of the ocean.
And they're not going to be able to say anything.
They're not going to figure it out.
They're probably hammered.
They're like, ah, I'm going to do.
Oh, I'll get it up eventually.
That's living.
There's those lives, you know.
Yeah, anyways.
You want to party tonight?
We can party.
There's a living.
You got a party tonight.
7 o'clock.
Twitch.t.tv.
the show or head to the show.fm.
All New York.
Bands and artists and rappers and hip-pops.
Tonight, seven years.
Come hang.
7 o'clock on Twitch.tv.
Slash the show or the show.com.
I'm going to go back live for a house party.
All New York City edition, baby.
Cutting deep.
Noise.
All kinds of music.
He found a J-Z wig.
Oh, with his big hair?
I don't know what his hair looks like right now,
but he did have that big hair for a minute.
That's the stupidest hair that's ever.
ever been where he was like, no, I'm going to go dreadlocks or something.
And it just wasn't working.
And I don't think anybody told him no.
But he's also like, he's also an artist.
So maybe that's like to have wild hairs artistic.
Wow.
He just one of the ugliest people.
Yeah.
His talent makes up for it.
That's how he got Beyonce.
Oh, 100%.
Who will sell you a thousand dollar empty box if you want it.
Yeah, right.
People got mad about that this week.
She's slowly turning kind of slimy in these last ventures of.
I think once you get.
get really rich, you're just removed from reality.
She's real caught up in the...
So you don't really have...
Your feet aren't on the ground anymore.
Like, I am Queen B.
Like, you're...
When you surround yourself...
Yeah, you surround yourself of people
who tell you how great you are all the time.
Yep.
That's how you get that way.
It was Destiny's Child.
Yeah.
It was...
Where are that two ones up to?
Can you Roland and then the other one?
Waiting for her to do a
one-off reunion every once in a while.
No, I think the one does stuff and the other one doesn't.
Kelly Rowland had a minute.
Right.
I can't name the third one.
Me either, but.
Well, a four-person disc golf team in Idaho is claimed a new Guinness World Record for competing,
sorry, completing a hole in just 44.31 seconds.
Now, I know that, I got, I should have one of our golf pros on here, I think.
Yeah.
I'm sure people.
Because it's not the same as a golf course, right?
Yeah.
So I got to go fast and then run and then fast and then run.
I guess.
Guinness says the hole needs to be at least 200 meters long, like here mothers.
So how long is that in like yards?
Couldn't someone just get a hole in one and boom?
I did it in five seconds.
Oh, yeah.
That's an interesting tweet.
Now I just did a hole faster than that guy.
Because you did complete it, right?
Yeah.
Guinness rules require the course to be at least 200 meters long,
leading the group to select a PDGA certified hole
professional disc golf association
Wow, what a certified hole.
They took them 60 attempts.
Jeez.
They said we sent a solid drive down the fairway.
Travis followed up with a great shot
and then Oliver kept the momentum moving.
Who was it?
It was a lady not pushing a baby in a stroller.
Okay.
He added that they had to sprint 41 grueling seconds uphill
to finish the record-breaking run.
I feel like I'm confused.
What?
So one, there was people waiting sort of in each spot once they hit it.
So like, I hit the drive and then Josh was waiting.
Like a captain and crew, I think.
So that's not.
Or maybe you travel as a team, but you all take, that's why I got to ask our pros.
See, I'm not, I don't know.
I'm not impressed by this.
41 seconds is almost too long, Ben.
I agree.
That is too long.
It's four to five seconds of plentor.
Mm-hmm.
Of pleasure.
But I know, I know our boy, Andy Maxfield's into this.
Obviously, Ligwilly and his whole crew, I'm going to be at that tournament with
them, it's growing in the area.
Disc golf is.
Yeah.
It was stagnant for a little bit, but I don't know why.
It's popping off right now.
Yeah, about someone would tell us.
People really, really love disc golf around here, and I know we got some good courses, so.
Who's golfing?
Who's disc golfing?
Is that record impressive?
Tell me.
Shout out to Silver Fox.
They are an adult daycare center or day center.
Yes.
That I didn't even know we had here in our community.
This is a great little thing.
Beville and Manlius.
They won National Recognize.
this past week as a center of distinction from the National Adult Day Centers Association.
What do they do over there?
It's like, well, it's going to be where we send Tim and Deb here pretty soon.
It looks like kind of like those places you go when you were like a teen.
Yeah.
But for older people.
Just looking at the things.
That's great.
Activities and games and music and a table full of food that I might act.
Can I sneak in a?
Like, they got a lasang-ing thing.
Can I speak to Silver Fox?
They do meals and snacks and stuff like that.
Oh, that's great.
No, I know we got a lot of our older citizens who are either lonely
or maybe their loved one passed away or maybe this could have nothing to do during the day.
This is great.
That's a lot of stuff to do here.
You hear a lot about loneliness.
And you can just go check it out?
What is the website?
And it's Silverfoxeniors.org.
So because I know it is for our older people,
www.
www.
www.
There we go.

No, but it's right on.
If you go right on there, so you can book, you can book a tour.
You can book a tour.
You can try a day.
That's awesome.
You can book a try a day.
That's awesome.
That's something we need for our older, our older community in town.
That's great.
It's a local business, too, local company.
And it's nice when you find a place that, like, you're comfortable with.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And, like, as your parents get older, it's nice to know there's somewhere.
safe during the day.
I'm just sitting around the house.
I might put you there because once you leave here and you're just roaming around,
I get nervous.
Yeah.
What about me roaming around you?
Taco Bell parking lot.
I don't know where you go.
Seven o'clock, I'd love it if you came to my house party.
Not literally to my house.
Please don't do that.
Nope.

Poo-Poo on
Because you know what season I'm in Coco
Oh, candy corn season.
I already had some yesterday.
Did you?
Started eating it yesterday.
I put a bowl out.
She likes to put decorative candy bowls out.
I'm a candy corn guy.
I like it.
I just,
it tends to be one of those things that you can get too much of,
and then all of a sudden you're sick of it.
Yeah, you can't.
Don't go too hard too fast,
because it is not a good candy.
I recognize that.
No, it's just because I like, though,
the pumpkins.
That mix.
With the chocolate in it?
Well, like, yeah, it's the pumpkins,
and they've got like the weird little,
Like, I don't even know the little shapes.
Here's a little corn thing that's yellow.
Like, yeah, the mallow ones.
That stuff is all good.
And I know, John, it tastes like wax.
It's not a good candy.
I just, I don't know if it's the nostalgia.
I don't know if it's just the flavor I like.
I don't know.
Maybe growing up having candy corn around us.
And some of the, if the different flavored ones you get are pretty good.
Also, some of those flavored ones are pretty bad.
Yeah, I don't like the reindeer candy corn they try in the Christmas time.
No, it's fun as a little like, Halloween.
Yeah.
It's funny.
reindeer poop, huh, but yeah.
Well, Brocks is releasing
Candycorn perfume.
Go to Candycornseason.com,
and for $22, you can get a perfume
called Ode to Candy Corn.
It's going to be released on September 22nd.
No.
I don't think I need that.
Have you ever smelled like a candy corn
candle or anything like that?
It's like that fake.
Yeah, not what you're saying, yeah.
Sweet, whatever.
And I think that would be...
They say it swirls together notes of creamy vanilla,
a spun sugar in honey.
Yeah, see, no, I don't think so.
I'm all set.
No.
Yeah, I disagree.
It's a little marketing gimmick, I get it, but I do love a Brock's candy corn.
I really, really do.
Just, I don't want them to open some thought for criticism by, you know, getting, what is it,
getting over their skis, by all of a sudden being like, here's a candy corn ice cream.
Wow, that's what we saw with Peeps.
Yeah, yes.
Yes.
Yes.
And it was every piece, every flavor, every season.
Oreo does it?
It's too much.
Yep.
It's too much.
Stick to what you know, Brox, all right?
Please.
Candy corn and jelly beans.
That's what you know.
And even the jelly beans.
Oh, really?
Because it's the bigger ones, right?
The Brox.
Yeah, you don't like those ones?
Okay.
I don't like all the other ones better.
