Starting point is 00:00:00 We interrupt this program. Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish. They are not part of the legitimate business world. What they do is they celebrate underachievement. And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil. And if I could find somewhere constitutionally to do away with it, I would. And here, everything did it. We are.
Starting point is 00:00:57 How do you do? That's what that noise is. I'm in there. I'm inside there. It was like a humming. I go digging around. A dull wall hum. I'm boring myself in there.
Starting point is 00:01:10 You're an ear wig? I am. Is that what those are? Those weird mites that get in your ear? Gross. I told you, I can't think about the mites and things that are on my face and in my hair follicles. Like the microscopic mites? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:26 They're just running around They crawl all over our beds And our faces and our Just looking at us Right I hate it Ugh I hate it
Starting point is 00:01:37 How is everyone's Wednesday Good yes Good times Good times Fun whiskey show last night You'll get a cocoa pops Tonight They can't get enough of us
Starting point is 00:01:48 Can't get enough of us We just keep on yapping And they keep tuning in for I don't know to tell you That's more of a problem with them That's more on you guys Yeah that's a you guys I don't know what you're going through, but, you know, maybe you'll lack the good father figure growing up.
Starting point is 00:02:03 We're looking to us to be father figures. Yeah, that's all. You're a long loss cause. Oh, and was there sports on? Is your baseball's Friday, right? Yeah, baseball's Friday. There was a, like, random NBA, a couple of those games here or there. Timberwolves won.
Starting point is 00:02:19 I saw that clip going around, a lamello ball taking eight steps before taking a shot. They just don't care. I mean, sure. Eight steps. Yep. Okay. But now this is the time of year where NBA for a little bit. You can get like a little Tuesday, a little Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:02:35 Mm-hmm. But it's going to be all football for a while. The wrestling on last night was, what's a Wednesday night? There was, but I was sleepy boy, so I kept falling asleep. So I started to watch a little bit of it, but did not. Ken says he feels older. Is that your birthday, Ken and Chad? Happy birthday to a birthday boy.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Get that cake. What are we doing today? What are we running through? Well, you know, it's all the normal business here on the show. Lots to get into. And then tonight you come back 7 o'clock for a little Cocoa Puffs. Thank you, Joe's buds. Ooh, we'll be live back at 7 p.m.
Starting point is 00:03:11 From the Doobie Dungeon. Yeah, we'll see if we can. With the ghost equipment. We'll see if we can rile up some ghosts. See if we get some ghosts to talk to us. Perhaps I'll take it to the basement, maybe even. The scariest basement ever, you said? It's from like the 1800s.
Starting point is 00:03:24 I have to duck. Wow. Crawl space? Yeah. There's that bodies down there. Yes, there definitely is. Ken turns 50 today. He's 50.
Starting point is 00:03:35 50. Happy birthday. Ken and stretch. So what's he getting, Amy? What's he get for his birthday dinner? What's his big? Oh, well, Cody's making a gesture off camera. But that'd be cool.
Starting point is 00:03:48 That'd be good for everybody involved. They did a thing like. Does he get a meal? With a mouth. Does he get a cake, a carving? Al ice cream cake, a cookie bus, perhaps? Those are good, I mean. Wouldn't be my choice of cake.
Starting point is 00:03:59 No, I mean, I do like an ice cream cake, though. I do like an ice cream cake. I've been craving a cheesecake lately. Oh, okay. Can you just get slices of that at the grocery store, cheesecake? Yeah, you're there. But I get it. Not that I need it, but.
Starting point is 00:04:12 Be careful the ones where you get it, though, because, you know, Wigman's now like eight, nine, ten bucks for a slice. No, I had three of them at that banquet thing. Oh, Wegman. I think all the grocery grocery stores do those little mini ones. Yeah. The little tiny ones. Yeah, just get a single serve, personal pan cheesecake.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Just get one that serves a couple people. That way, if you want more. It's basically breakfast. It's like... It's like sometimes a gram cracker crust and cream cheese. It's basically a breakfast food. And then just get some type of fruit topping to have with it. Breakfast.
Starting point is 00:04:47 I mean, and yeah, it's a fruit. Yeah. I'm eating cream cheese, a fruit. All healthy. And some graham crackers. Fairmount Wegmans brought back the Chinese food bar, Katie says. Okay. That's close to us.
Starting point is 00:04:57 That's our closest Wegmans now. That is right over there. But again, just everything makes me nervous because then I'm going to load up and they're going to be like, that'll be $78.50. Yeah, you got to be careful with those weights. Yeah. I believe that's the Wegmans. We will be at the first Friday of November bagging, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:14 We're doing the food bank. Yeah. We bag groceries. I don't know what it is. Lynn's got to explain it to us. It's literally just staying there, bagging, And that's good for somebody that I'm bagging their groceries? Somebody benefits from that?
Starting point is 00:05:27 I guess. I don't know what. I know that we're not just tricking me into being an employee. Oh, it is. We don't benefit in any way whatsoever. All right. Well, cool. We'll be there.
Starting point is 00:05:40 We'll be there. Listen, helping the food bank out. It's for a good cause. We'll tell you about that as we get closer. Happy National Nut Day. National Nut Day observed October 22nd every year. I'm not right now. What?
Starting point is 00:05:59 What do you got, bud? Chestnut. Oh, yeah, we got a couple nuts in here. A couple of nuts for the nuts. Perfect. All right, what are you talking about? You know, I'm talking about National Nut Day. It is.
Starting point is 00:06:09 It's everyone picking their favorite nuts celebrating. Go. My top nut. Top Nut. Go. Kishu maybe. Oh, okay. I want a salted cashew.
Starting point is 00:06:21 or a non-salted tissue. Salted. I got to watch that blood pressure. Salted. I got to have salted. Because mine is that perfect cocktail peanut. Mm-hmm. You know the one that's perfectly kind of salty, but a little like oily for no reason? I hear what you're saying, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:35 That. I also like a honey nut or a honey-roasted peanut. Oh, man. How did that slip my mind? Those are just so good. Out of the jar. That beats out of cashew? Oh, they're just, there's something about those.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Nuts are tops. My favorite nut is chocolate covered. Whatever that is. Chocolate covered cashew. That's a good one too. You're allowed to chocolate coat them. I don't think I dabbled outside of those two nuts, though. I will.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I don't like almonds. Yeah, I try. I don't like pistachios. Because I know that they're good for you, those almonds. So they've got a bunch of stuff all over them. But, you're not a pistache? Everybody on the text lines's favorite nuts are D's. Obviously, thank you.
Starting point is 00:07:18 No, I don't. Really? Not a pistach guy. Is it because you got to deshell it? Probably. But even if it's like something is pistachio flavored, I don't love that. Yeah, it's weird because I don't know. There's people that love pistachio.
Starting point is 00:07:33 Yeah. Oh, the ice cream? Or like in general, because I love a good pistach. If I got a shell it or not, I don't mind. Steve is coming in today from Real Life Botanicals. Okay. They have those three cones. Birthday cake, strawberry, and pistachio.
Starting point is 00:07:47 I had the pistachio one. Stachios are top seller. Interesting. The pistachios crushes it. They were telling me they got people at dispos that will come and buy them out of the pistachio ones. All right. That's their favorite flavor. It's good to know.
Starting point is 00:08:00 People like the pistachio. And I also think that right now it is a run on the Dubai chocolate stuff. And that's all the crumbled up pistachios? But it's not, it's got pistachio. That's going to lose this meaning real quick. Yeah, I know. It's got the flavor in it, but there's more to Dubai chocolate than just pistachio flavor. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:08:20 I can't say that word. Pistachio? Pistach. Trey Pistachio from Ben. I'm going to tray pistachio. This is our far past ever pistachios about. Salted or unsalted. I can't name.
Starting point is 00:08:37 I'm trying to right now, for the sake of this bit, name five nuts in my head. I've got almonds, cashews, pistachios. Cockctail? What's cocktail? Peanut and then Chastnut Oh chaston Not
Starting point is 00:08:55 Mm-hmm I'm known to be a pecan man That is true Brazil nut Oh the Brazil nut Is that edible Yeah that's a good one That's that giant one
Starting point is 00:09:07 We did that one yep Walnut That might be my least favorite That's the one I gotta use For like the walnut cracker right You put it in the nutcrackers mouth And it's one that ruins brownies sometimes Where is your nutcracker?
Starting point is 00:09:20 I think it's in a box up in the... Oh, good. Don't be long to... I don't be a long to get it. Hazelnut? I don't know a hazel. That's a good one. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:09:31 A hazelnut's a good one. Philbert. Text line has a good point. Cachews are technically not even nuts. Because I guess they hang off of a fruit or something. Don't we all? Haven't we all had those nights? Are they a lagoon?
Starting point is 00:09:45 Maybe. Are they a lagoon? I can't think of any other nuts I love. like. Oh, that was just, I thought we were just naming nuts. Well, I was trying. I don't even like the like, I'm like, yeah, I wasn't, I don't know. Got into my head, I don't think I could name 10 nuts. You are a pecan, man. That's all I got. Those are in my, you are a pecan, man.
Starting point is 00:10:04 Peanuts are a bean, no, peanuts are a nut. It's got nut in it. Peanut is a legume. I can't say pistachio or nuts anymore. I think I've burned myself out on that. It is national nutting. Bintu. With yogurt. Banana. And then peanut butter is a whole dish. different thing, but that's not today. Oh, national, wait, is the National Nut Day?
Starting point is 00:10:25 National Nut Day. I was going to say. I'm sure there's a National Peanut Butter Day. Oh, I'm sure. But if you go to Saughters, they'll make the peanut butter fresh for you right there in front of you. I bet that's so good. Just Amish ground Nutella, Katie says. What is that? Is that hazelnut? That's a good, yeah, that's good. I like it when Joan puts hazel, like Nutella and stuff. Yeah. That's where it's at right there. All right. What's everyone's nuts plans for today? Coco Popps goes live.
Starting point is 00:10:54 7 p.m. Hope you join us and see that good. Good. We can't talk about it on the radio. Hopefully there's things that aren't alive. Oh, he's doing a ghost show tonight, guys. He'll be a Debbie Dungeon. I hope.
Starting point is 00:11:07 I'm confident. I just, now that I'm, like, looking forward to it and hope that something happens. It doesn't matter because things have happened in the past. So even if nothing happens tonight, we have. evidence of things in the past. It's also true. Would you get Scotty's ghost things? Yeah, it's got the, it's in the whip.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Okay. Just the, um... I forget what they're called. The Ovalus. Yeah, whatever that is. Just because if you're, the thing that talks to us is going to be the best. Mm-hmm. I didn't get the electronic thing because...
Starting point is 00:11:37 The light up thing? That's going to go off. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it's going to go off. That's not as spooky anymore. Yeah. It's hopefully what is said to me down in the basement or upstairs. or whatever that are outside, wherever.
Starting point is 00:11:51 I'll go outside and in the basement. Those will be the, the scariest bolts. Nothing happens, just have the neighbor throw rocks at the window or something or have that come over the camera again. No, that's what I was telling people. I was like, listen, 10 minutes into it, here's them to have you do, just go out and line that window and just, yeah, just that, three times, then two times.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Tap, and we can all freak out, right? And then we'll wind it. Seven o'clock tonight. Please join us on back on our Twitch stream or the show.fm. This is a guy after my own heart. Because as media has evolved, I'm just, I guess you could say I've adapted a bunch because not a lot of radio shows do have done like,
Starting point is 00:12:28 you know, Twitch streams and stuff like that. Or like text lines. Like we innovated a lot on this show. Oh yeah. But I'm also just done. Like when TikTok came along, I decided, I don't want to do that. Well, there's, there's.
Starting point is 00:12:42 I just don't want to do it. I'll leave it for the youths. It's not, I don't know. I'm with you. With that. Because I don't know. I don't want to be a content creator. I guess I am a content creator.
Starting point is 00:12:52 We are, but not like that. This is how I want to do it. Yeah, it's not, I don't know. It seems forced a lot of what I watch. I don't know. His video's going a little viral right now. Because he tried to be a content creator. And he's like, I don't want to do this.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Because he has to, because behind the scenes, guys, all these content creators, if you pay attention to their videos, there's footage of them like coming out. of buildings or driving away from things. That's just them setting their camera up and then driving away from their camera and then backing up, getting their camera, leaving. Yep. And he was trying to do all this stuff and he eventually realized, I don't want to keep doing this.
Starting point is 00:13:31 This is how I know it's not for me. You really got to leave your phone. Like, this is what people do. So look, I walk into the mall, but look, my phone's outside. I'm looking around like, don't grab my phone. I live in New York, bro. People really be robbing phones out here. Like, there's no way all these content creators.
Starting point is 00:13:47 are just leaving their phones out here. They do. They just put them on a stand and then they get their footage. Yes, and, I mean, they have also, I mean, a lot of people kind of see what you're doing. Yeah. And that's also kind of annoying. I'm living vicariously through Boss Lady right now because she's doing a lot of content creating on TikTok. She's got like 5,000 followers now.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Yeah, so they're like thrifty stuff. Yeah. And I'm proud of her. She's making these videos. I just don't want to do that, you know? I like doing morning radio. And I know that's old school, and I don't care. This is how I want to do it.
Starting point is 00:14:20 And not to saying that we're, oh, we're so good that everyone else, why they're even bothering. A lot of people are not good at it. Yeah, that's true, too. A lot of the things I'm watching, you're not entertaining. That's true. You're not funny. You're not telling me anything. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:36 And if I have to watch one more goddamn person talk to me with this little tiny, this little. Drives me nuts. Hello. So here. And they holding the mic in their hand. Like you're holding a... Just clip it on your shirt. I know that drives me nuts.
Starting point is 00:14:48 A little caterpillar. Like you've got a little caterpillar that you're holding on to talking. But no, boss lady is good at it. Like the subway takes guys who like clip the mic to the subway card, your pass, and then they talk into that. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Do something. Mm-hmm. But no, I don't know. There's just... I don't know. Katie says there are two other radio show podcast that I follow because they just post clips from the show.
Starting point is 00:15:09 I tried to do that, Katie. It's messed up. I just got so busy. I'd love to have somebody do that for me. Maybe I'll hire an editor. at some point, but it's just so time-consuming. No, that, again, I've already said that what I think would be huge, but it's so expensive that I don't even, well, we would start.
Starting point is 00:15:27 What? I think that we would get like a Netflix deal if we could animate those same clips. Oh, the conversations we have. Those like five-minute chunks that we used to put. Like us yesterday, talking about Cousin-J getting all those rabbits and how they would... That would be hilarious animated. As we talk about it, it goes to a cartoon clip of then, you know, rabbits and cousin Jay.
Starting point is 00:15:47 I don't just, all that stuff. But. Nick is also right. Nick says, can we also stop eating when we're recording? I think that's part of the, like, authenticity is like, guys, I'm just having a bowl, my healthy bowl right now. I think it is a little performative too because they're like, this is my quinoa bowl and blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:16:05 And I talk to you, but. That is also one of the things that I hate. Get that there's good lighting in your car. But, oh my God. The eating? Get original. I know. Just the filming in the front seat of the car.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Every single person, that's the go-to. The older I get, I'm noticing my misophonia getting worse. Like, I go back to Sunday brunch and I did. I've never liked the sound of eating and drinking. And we used to do the Sunday brunch podcast, and Polly was the loudest eater and drinker ever. And it kind of bothered me, but maybe it's part of these content creators or whatever.
Starting point is 00:16:41 And I just like, as I go on, I really don't like the sound of eating and drinking anymore. I can't stand it. I can't watch people eat. I don't like sipping sounds. I don't like all of those sounds are really bothering me. No, I liked all the ambiance and everything of the sounds, but no, I get it. I don't want to watch a guy chew with his mouth open.
Starting point is 00:17:00 I don't want to watch. Yep. Drinking soup. Crunching. And Katie, I know there's a whole world of muckbangs. Oh, yeah. Watch people eat. There's fetish content, feeder content.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Where you're just like paying a woman to eat. No, I mean, I wouldn't mind not the, I want to watch. people eat, but I wouldn't mind watching some of those videos because that's how I learn about some new foods. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you don't have to do the weird set up a little studio in your car. Go home!
Starting point is 00:17:26 Go home! That always pisses me off when I'm always like a guy's eating a full barbecue dinner in the front seat, like dude. Yeah, and he's showing it like... Go to your house. Showing off it. Because now your drippy chickens are all over your car. I don't know. Maybe we're just weird. Maybe we don't understand the new media.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Or if you're doing this, because one of the thing about right now in my head is just I just learned the random one I saw for Chili's. That's how I learned about their chicken famich. Yeah. If you are doing a content video for Chili's, why don't you go inside the Chili's and sit at the table? Because I think that's part of it.
Starting point is 00:18:02 I think part of it. Turn your camera at you. I think that, well, it's annoying. I think it has like an authenticity that, oh, I'm just in my car. a normal person. But nobody eats full five-course meals. Even I don't. Even I don't do that much in my car.
Starting point is 00:18:21 With, you know, light set up and everything. It's just that part of it makes it look super unreal. Yeah. Where they're just, yeah, this is our giant eight-course dinner. Let's eat it right here in the front seat of our Volvo. And Katie's right. They did find a hustle. I knock it on their hustle.
Starting point is 00:18:34 It just ain't for me. Like, I didn't want to get into that hustle. Where it's like, you've got to chase algorithms. I bitch about it enough. But I can just relate to. to this guy who's like, wait, I got to film myself coming in and out of places. Yeah. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:18:48 Yes, you do. Mm-hmm. But they also, a lot of those people, they have somebody else a lot of times. It's just, it takes a long time to edit all that stuff. Yeah, that's the multiple camera angles. It's an impressive hustle. That's why you see so many of them burn out because they're just all day, every day, editing, filming, working the algorithms.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Watch our boys at Spatchcock do it. They don't stop. No, they're good at it. They're going at it. They're good at it. Yeah. I just not, I'm not, I'm not, wired that way. Anyways,
Starting point is 00:19:15 just follow some Twitch. Twitch.T.TV slash the show. I like checking in you for whiskey shows. I like checking in the mornings. You know, that's what I like doing. We're content creators. We're content creators, Bob. I got to acknowledge how much power I have in the media business. Cody is, I think just a week ago, maybe a week and a half ago on my K-Rock Josh Facebook page, I posted, what's like your most, what's one of your most underrated 90 sitcoms?
Starting point is 00:19:41 Everyone talks about Friends and Seinfeld. what is yours. Okay. Then I posted Coach. Because I liked Coach with Craig T. Nelson. Craig T. Nelson. And then, and then Dauber. Who is then the voice of...
Starting point is 00:19:52 Gare. Or the thing. Patrick. This is Patrick. Yeah, Patrick. I liked Dick Van Dyke's brother there. Jerry Van Dyke. I like that whole show.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Yeah. And Universal Television announced yesterday they are developing a coach reboot. Cool. No one to watch that either. Everybody watched Coach back in the 90s. No, they didn't. I mean, it was very popular, but like, I don't know. There's a reason when some of those getting, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:20 included in the most underrated shows list because, yeah, they're good now, I guess, because, you know. My two were coach and wings. You remember it and have nostalgia. I liked Wings and I liked Coach. That guy's getting a new show. Who? Tim Daly.
Starting point is 00:20:34 From Wings? What shows he's going to be in? It's going to be with somebody and Jamie Lee Curtis. And it's like a CBS-like. Oh, are we going to be a wacky older couple that's in love and goes through situations? But they don't have an airport on Antucket Island or nothing to do that? No, I don't think it's a spin-off. I think it's just him in something with another lady and then also Jamie Lee Curtis.
Starting point is 00:21:00 I just, I wanted to work at that airport. I don't know why. I wanted to work at a lunch counter. And I think it's not only wings that did that to me. There was the John Lerichette show that was focused around a lunch. counter? Remember that? No. No. Yeah, there was like, I don't know if it was the John Lairichat show or whatever it was.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Let me look at the guy's face first so I can remember. No, I don't remember him around a lunch counter. I only remember him from night court. And then Roseanne worked at that lunch stand. I wanted to work at a lunch counter. I felt like that's what you do when you grow up. And you just, you'd see like the, uh, the save by the bell guys always going to the mass. Uh, In that 70s show, they used to go to the hub or whatever it was called. So it was always cool to see them go to these little hangouts, little counters, lunch counters and stuff. Those are terrible jobs.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Those are not fun jobs. Yeah. My nanny, my Connie nanny, worked at the Oswego Hospital lunch counter for many years. Paying off that. Probably. I think probably, yeah. But she was at the Oswego Hospital lunch counter when I went to. to Oswego.
Starting point is 00:22:13 Yeah. So she'd have me come down and then she'd definitely steal food from the hospital and feed me. Oh, yeah. Can't, you can't prosecute her now? She's dead. Yeah, come on. She'd make me a cheeseburger, but she worked at the lunch counter and people would come eat lunch with my nanny.
Starting point is 00:22:25 I like that. I just got a thing for lunch counters, man. Yeah. Anyways, back to this. It's going to be starring Ty Burnell. Do you know who that is? Dad from Modern Family. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:22:39 Ty Bernal, Dad from Modern Family. What's the show? That's the show again? Coach. Oh, wait. Reboot. Rebooting Coach. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Even worse idea than what I was thinking. You thought it was like a spin-off? No, I thought they were just going to get them all. Craig T. Nelson, what are you doing? Let's do this again for a little bit. Is he still? I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:02 I think he's around, right? He's a meaning to do. He's 82. Good for Craig T. Nelson. I didn't doubt it for a second. I never doubted it in five second. Never doubted Craig The other. Ty Bernal is
Starting point is 00:23:14 Attached as the executive producer. His intent is to star if the project moves forward. The log line for the series is, quote, a legendary coach returns home to Minnesota to build his alma mater's basketball program, so not football.
Starting point is 00:23:31 The other coach was the football team. No. No, this is a terrible idea. I'm not going to watch it because I don't watch any sitcoms. What's it going to be on? Does it say? Or it's just streaming? Under production. Somebody has to buy it. it. Yeah, no, that sounds terrible. Somebody has to buy it.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Someone will. It'll be on, depending on the, you know, level of comedy, it'll be on Hulu. At some point, yeah. Or streaming on Paramount Plus. Solid CBS show. I mean, what are the sitcoms that exist right now? You see commercials form on
Starting point is 00:24:06 when you're watching, like, football and stuff. That's how I learned about that. Newlyweds, I guess, is the name of the one with Tim Daley. All right. But, I mean, you just kind of see little blurbs and then they're gone. Doesn't Cedric the entertainer has that sitcom? That's one I was thinking of with the guy from. White guy moves to neighborhood.
Starting point is 00:24:23 What? Yeah, you were friends? And that's neighbors or something, neighborhood or something. I don't know if that's still on. I can't think of any other sitcoms. Because it's all what we were talked about like a week or so ago with like Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, Chicago PD. It's all action. Chicago, Chicago Volunteer Firefighters.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Right. Chicago Street Cleaner. Tooma. Like, it's all these, like, you're either a cop, you're a firefighter, you're a detective. You're working a hospital. You work in a hospital. That's it. But you're also a killer.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Ghost is a sitcom, chat, text line says. Oh, wow. I haven't seen Animal Control. That won't, yeah, I've only watched a couple of episodes of that. I guess it would that be a sitcom or not, yeah? Yeah, yeah, that's still on. I'm blanking on the other one. There's a couple of random that are on, like, ABC.
Starting point is 00:25:08 They always try because they got to fill. They got to fill the nights. Every night from, you know. Didn't D have a sitcom for a little bit? Yeah, where she was like, sassy detective. Yeah, something like that. Hold on, I'm going to see here. Mitch Chicago Zamboni driver.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I'd watch it. I'd watch it. ABC TV schedule. Yeah, give me a rundown. Tonight. 9-1-1. See, action. Fire in the hole.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Is that one show? That's the name of the episode, yeah. Okay. So it's probably the start of the 911, the L.A. Now we're kicking off a volcano. Now we got volcano. 911. Nashville.
Starting point is 00:25:45 That's at nine. So we follow. 8 o'clock, 911. 9 o'clock, 911. Nashville. We have two hours of 911 shows? Second hour. Nashville.
Starting point is 00:25:56 But they're different. Okay. I guess. What's the 10 o'clock? Gray's Anatomy. So is that still? Another drama action. It says season 23.
Starting point is 00:26:02 So is that still new? Yeah. They've been doing that. They've been doing that my whole life. So that, that's it. Then there's, you know, the late night shows, whatever. And then let's see, what's Friday? Let's check out Friday nights.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Yeah, TGIF. What's on the TGIF lineup? All right. And on ABC, go ahead. Eight to nine, celebrity wheel of fortune, Dermit Mulrooney, Richard Kind, and Jillian Bell. What are we doing? I mean, that's not for us.
Starting point is 00:26:33 That's fine. Two hours after is, for next two hours is local programming. Whatever, so is there like, if a sport game has to be on? There's like a high school football game. Thank you, Scottie. And then the news in 2020. And then like Jimmy Kimmel.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I do like Friday night. Wolf. Shout out News Channel 9. You do a great job with your Friday night lights coverage. And I like seeing you go to all the high schools and this kids get TV coverage. I would imagine if I was in high school and on TV, that'd be a big deal. Let's see. What about like Mondays?
Starting point is 00:27:01 Can you check just Mondays? Give me a Monday. Maybe ABC isn't doing sick. All right. This Monday on ABC. Go ahead. This Dallas Cowboy Monday. That's true.
Starting point is 00:27:10 That's Cowboy Monday. Well, one of these channels next week will be showing it's the great pumpkin Charlie Brown, right? That'll be on one. It's got to us. It's the week of Halloween. I think CBS, I think, is that what I saw? Are they going to preempt some kind of SVU? CBS, in case you're looking for it on Monday, is just from 8 to 9.
Starting point is 00:27:31 FBI, 9 to 10, CIA. All right, these shows must be getting ratings or they wouldn't exist. Oh, no. I bet huge ratings. There's just a lot of older people watching crazy action packs. I did hear a thing for the Great Pumpkin, but I don't know where it is. Yeah, maybe we've got to watch it on Apple or something. You still didn't find a single sitcom in any of this.
Starting point is 00:27:57 You're right. None of those were. What about NBC? Go to NBC. NBC. Michelle says Scrubs still exist. Oh, yeah, the new scrubs. Yeah, because that's on ABC so often.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Yeah. Yeah. Maybe NBC's doing funny shows. Tonight they've got the traders. I know people like that show, right? That's a reality show. A wife loves that. And then Law & Order.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Special victims you did. All right. Action and... And then after that, regular Law & Order. So two Law & Order, back to back. And then the news. There's just no funny TV anymore? That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:28:32 That's just weird. It's just a lot of shows like that, like the Traders one where it's reality. Competition shows. And then just like situational. Because it's probably way easier to come up with ways for the fire department to do something crazy than it is. To write funny shows. Yeah, to write, you know, an interesting situation that doesn't involve a tragedy that somebody has to take care of.
Starting point is 00:29:01 The rise and fall of Reggie Dinkins was great, Bob and chat. Yeah. Yep, that's pretty good show. Is that going to that gone? I mean, maybe that's just why we're all so bummed all the time. No one's making funny shows anymore. Because that used to be it. You used to have tons of funny shows on.
Starting point is 00:29:14 ABC. ABC Friday night, you have TGIF. Thursday night on NBC would have all your funny shows. We're just doing, everything is scary now. We're living in fear of fires and volcanoes and murderers and killers and kidnappers and rapists. Yeah. I mean, Friday. What?
Starting point is 00:29:32 We're going through, I'm trying to go through any of them to find anything. Friday for CBS. Sheriff Connob. Fire country, Boston Blue. So it's just all copaganda. It is. Or it's like... Because it's easier to make these shows?
Starting point is 00:29:47 To come up with... Than funny shows? Well, just... But you know what I mean? Like, it's easier to come up with those ideas because that's an easy thing to do. Well, they literally just look in the newspaper and they can find a crime that happened and write a whole series.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Like, write a whole show about it. Or just like, oh, a sinkhole opened. All right, there's an entire episode, us rescuing a mother and her two... Poor kids are stuck in this sinkhole. Where do our funny shows go, guys? It's disappointing. That's why we're all so miserable.
Starting point is 00:30:15 We got no funny shows on. No. Where's family matters? We're step by step. I thought you said funny. Hang you with Mr. Cooper. Yeah. No, they all work for, you know, probably podcasts and serious radio and writing that type of stuff.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Boymeet world. Where's all my funny shows? I'm a sad demon. I have demonic demur. Good morning, everybody. Your sleep paralysis, demon is just you? It's just me. I'm just bummed out all the time.
Starting point is 00:30:44 I'm seeing about it. Well, you know, it'll make you happy. As we just come off the complaining there's no funny shows anymore, you can watch Cody be funny tonight. Twitch.com. Slash the show or the show.com, even though he will be haunted by many ghosts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Many ghosts. It'll probably make me poop my pants. So he'll be at Debbie's Doobie Dungeon tonight. Thank you, Scotty for those bitties. Scotty. Appreciate you. Scotty. He's going to bring the ghost. ghost equipment. Scott let him borrow the
Starting point is 00:31:09 Oculus again. Yep, so we're going to bust it out and see if we'll talk to us or whatever. He's got his totally mobile video setup I built for him so he can go all over the house. He's going to go down to the basement, which he says is creepy, so see you tonight. 7 o'clock. It's scary.
Starting point is 00:31:26 So I guess I've never lived through and I don't want to be offensive to people, but we are like living through an era where a lot of people are just single adults. My buddy Coco included. And because of this trend, science is like, all right, we have a lot more single adults than we ever have. Are you happy? Are you content? So they started doing surveys. And they found that single unmarried, unpartnered people report high
Starting point is 00:31:59 levels of contentment with their lives overall. Yeah. Overall, I would say yeah. Absolutely. And I guess there's like a kind of a subtext to that where they're like, well, you couldn't be happy without a partner, could you? Right? No, that's the misconception. But no, it's, you, a lot of it has to do with, you can do whatever you want. You can do whatever you want. Whatever. A new study has found that people who remain unmarried and unpartnered into adulthood are reporting high levels of contentment with their lives overall, even as they continue to face various ongoing romantic and sexual experiences. So just hooking up and whatever. Nothing wrong with that.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Not wrong with that at all. I just happened to get married at 26. I never felt like pressured to get married. Yeah. I just found a lady I liked. She was fun. I liked all the things she liked. We liked similar things.
Starting point is 00:32:56 We had chemistry and we got married. But if you don't, I don't know there's any shame in being single. I hope not. No, not at all. Not at all. Study track nearly 3,000 never married adult. singles over an 11-year period. They said the one requirement was to continue to be eligible for the study.
Starting point is 00:33:17 You needed to be officially single at each of the yearly check-in. So you can hook up. You can go on dates. Just you're unmarried. Yeah. You're unmarried. Yeah. Each year they remained eligible.
Starting point is 00:33:28 They answered various questions about their overall life satisfaction and other things. And verdict was most singles singles across all three age categories, are still highly satisfied with their lives. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, if you're not happy with the life that you've got, make some changes. I'm not saying, you know, blow up your whole life or whatever,
Starting point is 00:33:51 but that doesn't seem like a fun way to go through life if you're, you know, so miserable. I have people in various different relationship statuses. Cody was in a long-term relationship, and now he's been single for a while. Yeah. I've got friends who had several marriages under the belt, three, four marriages by now. Which all are fine, but yeah, you have every right to do what it takes to make you happy.
Starting point is 00:34:19 But again, then once you involve other people, though, you got to consider, I don't know how to say it. Like, if you got kids, you can't just be like, whatever it takes to make me happy. Hey, I just got to be here. I got to worry about me. Yeah, when you bring other people's lives into it, you can't be. I just got to focus on me. I got to be happy out there, babe. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:40 But there's changes you can make. 90% of each group they studied reported being completely content. And I see a lot of you in Chad saying, long time single, very happy, very content. Yeah. And I think that you do all get, probably people in your life are like, when are you going to get married,
Starting point is 00:34:59 when are you going to have, and those people suck. No. Get out of my business. Yeah. No, it's more of you catch. like undertones of people feeling bad for you.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Like you're, well, he's got to be so lonely. You know, you like that. Like you catch a little, just little glimpses of... I'm sure there's moments
Starting point is 00:35:21 where you're like, you know, this would be nice to have a relationship or whatever. Oh, absolutely. But, as Dab says, and Dab has killed off many of her partners.
Starting point is 00:35:29 It's better to be alone than with someone that makes you miserable. Life is too short. Exactly right. Exactly right. I just, I'm sorry if people are judging you, but if you're living your best life as a single adult, you go do you.
Starting point is 00:35:42 Yep. I will say the benefit to having a relationship is it helps with bills. Yeah. I can't imagine being Cody and having to pay all these ridiculous bills by myself. That part is wild. That part is absolutely wild when you're like, oh, that there went all my monies. That's what I asked up.
Starting point is 00:36:01 Like it used to be you could be single and live in a pretty nice apartment for 500 bucks. Yeah, then you're good. Not anymore, and they got all these bills just piling on you. That's what stresses me out for Cody. No, that part is crazy. I just try to find him an old sugar mama to help him with the bills. But listen. Listen, you live your life.
Starting point is 00:36:18 I walk around the casinos on the reg. Dropping, you know, like a quarter or something and bend it over in front. Old lady. Oh, excuse me. Let me get this. No dice. No, no, nothing. All right.
Starting point is 00:36:33 Maybe you got to go in the smoking room. Both. Oh, you're doing, the old? Oh. How do you make a name as the city's most compelling compact crossover? Well, the Lexus UX started with a refined suspension tuned for the streets, then added a palette of distinctive, vibrant exterior colors and kept it going with an available 12.3-inch touchscreen
Starting point is 00:37:01 using our intuitive Lexus interface. The Lexus U.S. engineered to fit in, designed to stand out. See Burdick Lexus and Cicero. 7 o'clock, Cocoa Puffs, presented by Joe's Buds. Um, this is just how it goes, Milwaukee Brewers. Did you see this timeless ticket issue they're having? Yeah. That's how it goes.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Yeah. We took a gamble on the team. Yep. As the fans. Yep. And now you can't be mad about it. Nope. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Guess what? You don't get to make, you know, $10,000 off of a couple people. You don't know what I'm talking about. Oh, well. The Milwaukee Brewers in 2000. sold limited edition timeless tickets, $1,000 tickets. So that, I guess, came in a custom box certificate of authenticity and a brass timeless ticket with a name on it.
Starting point is 00:38:00 And I guess does it mean that every game you could go to? Was it every game or any game? You get to go to one game you pick, doesn't matter. Really? And it's like you can't be mad, billionaire. You already made money off of this. Yeah, you made your money. That's the thing that I think rich people forget on the reg.
Starting point is 00:38:22 They're like, wait, sometimes things don't go my way? Or that they want to make money off of people they are already making money off of. Like you already did it. We paid for it. It's over. Yeah. It's over. Tickets may be redeemed.
Starting point is 00:38:35 You already got my money. For the best available seat location, subject to ticket availability. It's binding them in the ass now because obviously all their fans want to redeem this for the World Series. And they rightfully have every... And they should. Sorry. You did this. Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:52 It's not like it's they want to make it so nobody gets to go see this game. No, it's a fan that is such a fan. They gave you $1,000 11 years ago when you probably sucked. And now you want to... Well, hold on. Now that's not fair. To who? Who is it not fair to?
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yeah. Like your most loyal fans paid for this back in 2015 and now you're going to punish them. Right. Well, those seats are... You made the thing, dude. But those seats usually run for... Okay. They run for $1,000 now because I'm getting my ticket.
Starting point is 00:39:30 But... I wasn't envisioning, hey, we're going to get front row. But certainly first 10 rows. I said this has to be a mistake. It's terrorist level. That's level four. That's not the best available seat. And she said, yeah, I'm not going to argue that there's better seats available.
Starting point is 00:39:42 This is what's being allocated to the timeless ticket holders. Upset. Angry. Out of principle. I'm not even going to go. When you promise somebody the best seat available and you give them pretty much the worst seats that you have in the whole stadium, I would say no, they're not honoring. They're sticking all these timeless ticket holders way up in the nosebleeds, not even in seats in some cases.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Which I bet you because this is, again, how they work also on the other hand of, well, we need money every single second that we can from you. but also I bet there's some fine print that says well yeah this is the best available of the of what's available for you of what we consider this we didn't it's not just the best available on the whole stadium yeah like the best available that we can offer you in the section that's being offered we just keep taking we just keep bending over and taking it from these rich a holes who are like thanks thanks for your thousand dollars 11 years ago but that's nothing But now, but what have you done for me?
Starting point is 00:40:40 No. Yeah, but what about now? Fans who purchased the timeless ticket promotion for $1,000 gained access to any future game, and now the Brewers are in the World Series. The president of business operation says we subsequently erred in our internal communications on the logistics of fulfilling the requests. Yeah, you got to fulfill them. Yeah, there's, you have.
Starting point is 00:41:03 While we were able to accommodate all with seats, we received feedback that some are not happy with their seat locations. clearly even with the extraordinary limitations on available seats, we do not live up to the spirit of the program and we've been working on a resolution. Because you said, if I give you $1,000 now, this team ever gets to the World Series, you're going to give me a really great seat. And that's a gamble I made on your team.
Starting point is 00:41:23 And now you're going back on that. And I won. Now, sorry that you didn't take that. Yeah, you didn't take that into account. So now there's probably the issue now, I would imagine, there are no seats. that's probably the problem. There's not any seats available.
Starting point is 00:41:41 People want to go to the World Series. Yeah, and it's tomorrow. Right. So, well, I mean, starts tomorrow. So there's other games. But I would imagine the ones that are in, you know, both stadiums being the first time these teams have a chance to possibly win their first World Series. Yeah, Pat Lucas is right.
Starting point is 00:42:00 It was probably three or four business managers ago. They say back in 2015, that was a big selling point from the salespeople. people about this Danny Fosciato, one of the holders said. Hey, Fosciato. Hey, Danny, oh, hey. They really touted, hey, this is going to be the best available seat. You're going to get the priority just behind season ticket holders. Anything the season ticket holders don't have, you'll have dibs at the World Series
Starting point is 00:42:25 if we ever make it. And then they did. Yeah, see that right there. And then they did. Him saying that. But it's, again, I'm so sure that there's some. loophole that they've got in there. Of course.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Yeah, no, although we did say after, but if you look, what it does say. No. You told me I'd get a seat at the World Series and that's what I want now and I don't want to be up in the 400s. No, but that sucks though
Starting point is 00:42:52 because I'm sure now it's not going to take a day for litigation. Oh no, the World Series will be over by the time this all gets worked out. And the people that aren't going to go because I'm sure lawyers are like, nope, don't go yet. Nope, don't go.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Save that, hold that ticket. don't attend, blah, blah, blah, and then the brewers will never get back to the World Series. It's just, man, I don't know what we're supposed to do. You've got to at least honor the deals we make. Yeah. I believed in you 11 years ago. That's something that, yeah, you're going to have to probably figure out something
Starting point is 00:43:27 because you should have thought about that. When you got into the World Series, that should have been like step two of, all right, get the info out to the season ticket holders that need it. Okay, and then timeless ticket holders, because how many are there? Yeah, because guess what? Here's that thing that we've been worried about for a while. Remember that thing? We got to accommodate them, so let's give them their best tickets.
Starting point is 00:43:45 So here's a whole row for whoever did it. Whoever cashes in, just start putting them in that row. And it's not like you're giving out a ticket for free. No, they're going to give you a grand. It's a thousand dollar ticket. They already gave you a grand. And whatever you did in 2015, you took that money in 2015. And maybe you used it to pay a player or you used it for upgrades to the stadium.
Starting point is 00:44:06 You did something with it. Yep. And then these people get nothing out of it. It's not my fault. If you spent it. You spent it. I'm sorry. I gave it to you 10 years ago.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I didn't tell you to save it until I cash it in. Yeah, man. And then when Cody cashes in his ticket, then something pops up in your system that says, you can now use Cody cash. $1,000 has become available. Exactly right. They kicked the can down the road,
Starting point is 00:44:32 Ben Riley and Chad. Damn. Their quick buck scam we had in 2015 backfired. Now they actually will. want the thing we sold them. And it could have really been real easy. You could have just... You done it.
Starting point is 00:44:41 I mean, again, we don't know how many tickets there were, but I'm sure you could have just taken a whole row, just made it a whole row. These are where those people are going to sit. And give them a nice front row row row somewhere close. Trying to see how many... I can't imagine it's more than a, like, what, 10 to 15? No, it says roughly,
Starting point is 00:45:06 500. Oh. So you made 500 grand off these people in 2015, guys. Oh. You made 500 grand and you blew it and now you're screwing fans over. I got nothing for that. That sucks. You got to redeem 500 tickets.
Starting point is 00:45:25 They ain't 500 for those. You should have thought about this then before making the deal. Oh, no. Because if you think about it, you were planning on your team sucking forever. You screwed the fans over because you're like, wow. We're like, we can't get it. We're never going to get to the World Series. We're never going to get a world series.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Oh, man. Let's just take that for their money. It'll be a fun little joke. I bet you. Some sales manager back in 2015. Yeah. Who has worked for eight different baseball teams in the time being. Who knows what you do?
Starting point is 00:45:53 Doesn't be a good idea. Let's get them for a thousand now. It's the golden ticket thing from the office. Hey, did you tell them they could cash that in at any game they wanted? Like a World Series game? Yeah. Yeah. I did.
Starting point is 00:46:07 You know 500 people? bought that right. Yeah. Huh? Roughly 500 of the original ticket holders have attempted to redeem them for the 2006 World Series. I can't feel bad for you, Brewers. No, I don't feel bad for the Brewers.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I feel bad for the people. Me too. Because the Brewers are screwed. Yeah? You're screwed. You screwed a lot of people on this one, man. Also, props to 500 people for being like... I believe in my Brewers.
Starting point is 00:46:34 Bought this and we're just going to put this away for forever. Would you do that? Dallas Cowboys come to you with a $1,000 timeless ticket. No. I'll be dead. They make it to the Super Bowl. Can I pass it to somebody after I die? You can leave it in your will.
Starting point is 00:46:50 You can leave it in your will. As long as it's endless, because it's going to go for a couple generations. No, no, I wouldn't, to be honest with you. Do I think the Cowboys can go back to the Super Bowl in my lifetime? Absolutely. You're just not going to pay that gap. But I'm not giving you $1,000 towards it now. But how many Convoys fans would?
Starting point is 00:47:07 You know? Hundreds of thousands. Hundreds of thousands. There's so much money down there. Yeah. And then they get there and Jerry's got to accommodate. I don't know. Don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:47:17 We'll be back to intertive boned after a couple years. You're going to make a couple adjustments. You are screwed, Brewers. It's all going to be fine. It's not going to be. No, they're cool. I like the way that you use that phrase. I'm complaining about all the HR management training I've been doing these last two weeks
Starting point is 00:47:32 and learning how to run this business. Now, you see what I deal with here. I know. I know. That's crazy. I got a call from Stacey out at the corporate one more time today. I don't know if I'm going to make it. Can't just tell our HR consultant, hey, I think these people are pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:47:51 Why don't they got to sign all these documents? No, they actually do need to sign all these documents. They're my friends. We're good. They said it's fine. I asked them and they said it's good. Why do I need the insurance? They're not going to slip and fall here.
Starting point is 00:48:06 It's not a slippery job. Verbal agreement. They said, dude, and it's cool. We're cool. Hey, I said, excuse me, employee, employee. Come here, come here. It's cool. We're cool, right?
Starting point is 00:48:17 They went, that's cool. Yeah, exactly, Mel. Thank you. I tried to explain to our HR consultant. The policy here at the Dispo, are you cool? I'm cool. Hey, hey, we're all cool. That's cute.
Starting point is 00:48:30 We don't need to worry about an employee handle, but we're having a good time. We did it in the interview process. Excuse me, Mr. or Mrs. Question. You go? You cool? You cool? Uh, yeah, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:48:42 All right. I believe that these are people are all pretty good hang. We did. We did have the one guy. We asked that. It's cool. I don't think so. I don't know if it's cool.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Oh, get out of here. Get out of here. Get out of here. I have a question. I have a question for specifically you, Cody, because you're on adventures a lot. Oh, it's good. Driving down. The Livo Smokey Hollow Road.
Starting point is 00:49:07 in Phoenix yesterday. Did I see two peacocks? Are those around here? People have them. But this was not near a house. These were birds that had like a green, like they looked like miniature peacocks. Like peasants, the little pheasants?
Starting point is 00:49:26 Oh, is that what they are? Fescents, those are around. Those have like green on them? Yeah, a little bit. And they're not peacocks. But, I mean, if they're on people's land, they do go kind of a, around, so, but I would say it was probably a pheasant.
Starting point is 00:49:41 Would that, like, like, sticky-outy feather tail, like he's going to run in a second? Not really, but I had the green here. D's nuts is saying pheasant. Joe was saying guinea fowl. Yeah, one of those, like, game birds. Okay. I was driving too fast, and I was like, look, did I just see two peacocks by the side of the road?
Starting point is 00:50:01 The hell is this? All right. There could be pheasants, they say. They release pheasants around that area to hunt. They hunt the fesons. Oh, you do. Fescent's delicious. Is it?
Starting point is 00:50:10 I don't think I've ever had a pheasant. Yeah, it's good. All those are really good. Quail's good. Cornish game hens are delicious. All little birds. Those of you who can hunt like birds and ducks and pheasant, I'm really impressed by you. Like, I'm impressed that you can get a deer.
Starting point is 00:50:22 But a deer is so big, and it's probably just kind of standing there. Yeah. These birds are so small. Right. And they're potentially about to fly away. A teradactal. And then you send your dog out there, and the dog goes in the grass and then goes, well a couple of peacocks down in Florida are causing neighborhood disputes
Starting point is 00:50:45 as they're saying we'd like a city ordinance lifted that protects the peacocks in the area some people think they're becoming a nuisance oh so you want to kill the peacocks? And other people are like no don't. Florida wants to kill everything. Well I was going to say yeah Uncle Ferg is right. Google.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Peacock yell and it's not something that I think you'd want. We're just walking around your house, yelling all the time. So this is why they're a nuisance is because they sound like this. They're very pretty. I don't know if they... Yeah, I don't think I saw peacock. This is not what I saw. I saw a pheasant.
Starting point is 00:51:22 Well, Peacock, they just do that like, here's my butt when they want to do sex, I think. Don't we all, though? Yeah. How annoying is that? So you just get a couple of them all day long? Yeah, I'd want to kill this. I don't want to kill this thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:42 I can see why that would be a nuisance to Florida neighborhoods. They've become a continuing source of property damage, sanitation concerns, noise, expense, and a loss of peace in our own homes. I respectfully request that the rule protecting the P-fowl be removed from the current ordinance, so residents are no longer forced to choose between protecting their property and complying with city code. I do not want the city to make any changes to the protected species. I want the peacock to be protected. Not if they're annoying me. And like what are they doing?
Starting point is 00:52:19 P-fowl. That's what I say when somebody dribbles on the urinal. That's a pee-fow! P-fow! Get out of here! Uh-huh. P-fowl. Uh-huh. Do people know that have them?
Starting point is 00:52:30 Are they, that's what I'm looking for. Destructive? Because that lady... It says they're pooping all over the place. Yeah, they're loud. Do they have, like, is it like, nasty goose poop? Or everywhere you're walked? Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:52:39 The Florida version of Canadian geese like we have here? There's just 20 of them walk around pooping all over your stuff. Oh, they also attack shiny things and small animals. Oh, geez. Yeah, so you're just walking your poor dog and a stupid peacock runs up. I'll eat a peacock. I probably would. I absolutely would.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Listen, I'm all about, I love animals. I do. But at some point, they do become a nuisance. Yeah, when you get overwhelmed or whatever. If they're all over your neighborhood, they're ruining my yard. And I saw for the people that are like, they don't need to call. the deer in neighborhood areas.
Starting point is 00:53:11 Did you see the number this year that they grabbed? It was like a hundred and something deer. Tax line, the chat just said this. Syracuse got 147 deer this year. Yeah. Not out in the woods, hanging out, spying and waiting and hunting, down in like the valley and stuff.
Starting point is 00:53:29 They're just like, what are you guys doing? My buddy Ben, I've told you that my buddy Ben used to get hired to go call the deer at night and go out there and they would just, I think he hunted with a bow. I don't think you can hunt with a rifle in there, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:53:38 how that works. You just... 147 deer. In this season. That goes to... We feed people with that, right? Yeah, that's the thing. People are like, oh, well, we're feeding people with it.
Starting point is 00:53:48 We don't just... Yeah, that's good. We don't just shoot them and huck them in a river. Yeah, I think we feed them, and that's really good. And they're a nuisance, and they carry a lot of ticks. How many ticks were on Elsa yesterday? I peeled... Well, that time.
Starting point is 00:53:58 That was one time outside. Eight. Yeah. Eight. I get it deer or cute, but they're also a nuisance. They're big fat rats, and they're walking around, and if they can feed them, people with them and we can keep the ticks population down. I don't want to antlers, though.
Starting point is 00:54:14 I also likes those. Yeah. Every time I try to wrestle them to the ground and you can't their antlers off, but they always get away from me. Yeah, well, you are nude and chasing them with that loincloth on. I mud up to hide from the predator. You do. You got to mask your scent.
Starting point is 00:54:27 Exactly. Tonight's seven o'clock. Cocoa Lenters Sandman. Ooh, I don't what that means. So maybe you get sleepy. I don't know. I'm just trying here and do my best I can. I'll help you find some products.
Starting point is 00:54:46 If you're having trouble entering Sandman. Hell yes. Correct. Tonight at 7 o'clock. Coco's going to try some of that of cult I were just talking about in chat. Jeremiah from working class tattoo. He's growing some good, good. I don't remember who did my tat over there, but I've got tats from working class.
Starting point is 00:55:04 It was great talking to him yesterday. So we'll show you some of that tonight. Of course, Coco Puffs, presented by Joe's Buds, 46-56. On Endalga Berlevard. I've been there. To Joe's Buzz? You have. Yes, you have.
Starting point is 00:55:17 I'm going to try to be sneaky. I'm shocked you found a parking spot. That's what's crazy. Usually I can't. I got to try to park somewhere. Let me see if I can sneak me another one of them drinks. That was delicious. Uncle Arnie's?
Starting point is 00:55:28 Just for my own sake. Uncle Arnees, dude, I reached out and I'm having her back yet. No, it seems like they're one of those, like, kind of a bigger. Yeah. If you ever see a pop-up, please grab me a business card because everyone's raving about those. I've been trying to watch to see if anywhere in the local dispensaries they've been at. They're only a job. right now that I've seen
Starting point is 00:55:48 but I haven't seen it like a pop-up of like hey look we've got blah blah blah I just send them an email to a generic email and I haven't heard back so if you find any contacts or if anybody listening to this right now represents Uncle Arnie's drinks let me know because I got a spot for you. You delicious! I am in the minority in this discussion and I don't
Starting point is 00:56:04 know I expect some blowback for my opinion on this. I am in no way the best dresser you will see me out if you see me out and about there's a good chance I got shooty hoop shorts on, probably a T-shirt. Yeah. Cody's the same.
Starting point is 00:56:20 His arms are probably cut off his shirt. Yeah, or I mean, right now I'm wearing a ladies' Halloween sweater. I know I'm not the best dresser. But a debate on social media asks the question that I think is very pertinent, especially where I live in Fulton, New York. Is it appropriate to wear pajama bottoms to the store? Thank you. You didn't have to finish.
Starting point is 00:56:40 You don't have, I'm with Cody. No. It's not. I mean, I don't. Try a little. little bit. If you've got to go to the store, blah, blah, it's your day off, or whatever you got and you wear them.
Starting point is 00:56:51 You can't put on a pair of jeans or something. I don't mind, but like, a lot of them doesn't look like you've ever taken a whole. Yeah. I don't know why I let it bother me. I don't know. It's literally none of my business. It's none of my business. Because I will wear shooty hoop shorts.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Same. So. Why does that feel like a step up from pajama pants? But I will also, like, say right now, I'm wearing jeans. and I go home for the day. And I take these off. Same. And I put on sweat pants.
Starting point is 00:57:20 Same. Oh, got to go to Walmart. I'm taking the sweatpants off. Why? And I'm putting the jeans back on. Why do lounge pants, luxury, I mean not luxury. Lounge pants feel different than just lounge shorts. Yeah, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:32 I don't know why it feels different. I don't know. But no, I don't, there's just something. And it doesn't help that, and it is not everybody, but a lot of the people you see wearing them, you can also see, like, they're grease yeah
Starting point is 00:57:48 I don't want to be and I'm not trying to be like heartless for people who are living in poverty because I get it but you at least own one pair of jeans or a pants that you can put on because I eat free
Starting point is 00:58:00 I just want you putting out a better you'll feel better about yourself if you put on some pants yeah or I mean just I don't know wash those ones yeah wash the cookie monster ones that you got on
Starting point is 00:58:12 social media asked Is it okay? And they specifically said, is it okay for a 27-year-old man to wear pajama pants to target? 65% of people said yes. No, yeah. It's, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:58:28 Because it, ultimately, it doesn't matter. You know what I mean? It doesn't matter. And it's none of my business. No. Who cares what I say about it? But just the, for the, I think it's because we were always told of,
Starting point is 00:58:42 hey, you better put on clean underwear. because if you're in a car accident, they're going to see your dirty underpants. And why is that a thing? I don't know. Because don't you defecate yourself when you die? Yeah. So they're going to be dirty, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:54 But I mean, you just poop them a little because you got scared is different. If I'm hit by a bus, I'm going to evacuate in my pants. So that's the least of my worries. The least of my worries is do I got skid marks or not. No, it's situational. Because for all of it, if you're, say, if I'm sick as hell and I need medicine, and I'm wearing what I'm wearing. I'm not going to be,
Starting point is 00:59:15 let me put on my jeans to go get my diarrhea meds. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know, I'm trying to be empathetic, but just go one step further. Yeah. And I'm telling you, even shooty hoop shorts. Right?
Starting point is 00:59:31 Like black sweatpants that kind of look like athletic a little bit. That's a bit, and you can't tell you're not wearing your dress pants. Because you know what I've worn? I've got these Eddie Bauer sweatpants that are like tapered at the ankles and those feel like I'm being athletic. Well, you have to wear like, like, dragging shoes with them to make it look like, well, I'm about to go hike.
Starting point is 00:59:51 I'm about to go to do an exercise somewhere. I kind of go to the gym after. Megan Chat says they're always wearing holiday pants in the off season. Middle-aged man and Grinch jammies in July. That's what I was going to say. I was going to say because they wear them when it's not appropriate for the time. Like what Meg just said, your Santa jammies in August or your, you know, Lilo and Stitch in Christmas hats in June.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Stop wearing shooty hoop shorts in December, that type stuff. You're wearing crocs with no socks. Yeah. It's November or December. Yeah. I don't get cold. Shut. You do.
Starting point is 01:00:36 You do. And all of you were saying, we love men in gray sweatpants. you catch print. Do they like seeing our baldos? Soonerunawinos. But what, say I wear a great pair of gray sweat pants out, what is that resulting? It's not like I'm hooking up with any of the ladies looking at my print, so why do I care? No, that's what I mean about the PJ pants is that ultimately it doesn't matter, but I don't know. I think it's just one of those things where we all sort of agree,
Starting point is 01:01:02 like, no, don't do that. This specific pair of pants, this guy was asking, if you're just tuning in, is it appropriate to wear a pajama pants to talk? or Walmart or where. I mean, I guess it's different levels. Target likes to think they're bougier than Walmart. They ain't. Right?
Starting point is 01:01:16 They ain't. No. Sorry, Fayetteville. Yeah. No. You ain't no better than a Walmart. But they said, this guy said, I'm 27 years old. I'm wearing pajama pants with golden retriever faces all over them.
Starting point is 01:01:29 But why? On a Sunday. Can I go to Target in these or not? I mean, yes. You can do whatever you want. Yes, you can. But, I don't know. Just try a lot.
Starting point is 01:01:40 little bit. Yeah, just, I don't. Just don't, though. I think it also is, the stereotype is too much now because even if you're all clean, unfortunately, that's kind of what, when we see that out, we're like, oh, they didn't shower today. They just got out of bed and put those on. Because a lot of times when you see them, again, I'm just picturing a couple very
Starting point is 01:02:02 stereotypical people with the greasy bedhead and the Grinch pants and we had a huge full cart. Yep. Ken says in chat, wear whatever makes you happy. Who cares what others think? I agree. But that's what I'm saying. Because again, I keep going back and forth. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what we say. You know whatever you want. But also, I'm just trying to help you. Because pants are awful. Yeah, right? Sure. Somebody in the comments said, I mean, Walmart maybe, but Target, have a little class.
Starting point is 01:02:31 You ain't any better than us, Target. Well, they'll just outwardly hate. So they don't care. Yeah, yeah, you ain't any better than us, Target. I don't have what Target. The problem is As long as you're clean, I don't care This guy's wife said no, don't do it That's why he was asking the internet And that's where it should stop
Starting point is 01:02:47 If your wife says, hey, I don't want to be married To a guy that goes to the store in PJ pants Then it's over. You are no longer to wear the PJ pants That's been a decision that's been made for you, my friend. Well, that's why I used to dress cooler, I think. I think I had more style when my brother lived here Because he's 10 years younger
Starting point is 01:03:03 So I still had that like HIP and cool style what the cool kids are wearing. I just had to me, get me that. I don't know. I don't know style anymore. I don't know what fashion is. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:15 No, it's hard. Because again, what's... I still dress how I did when I was in my 20s. Well, what's fashion is what we were wearing when we were like 13. We got to get the jinko pants back. Yeah, we dress like idiots. We all dressed like idiots. But now that's fashion now.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Yeah. That's style. My young, both of my kids are into fashion now. They love all these things. And I bet a couple of their outfits. Offits are exactly what you wore. Exactly what we wore. And it's like, you would have made fun of me.
Starting point is 01:03:41 But now that's super cool. Don't wear those. My friends, I told you this. My youngest, one of his friends, he's a great kid. And I was picking up my kid at school and his buddy comes over. And he goes, Mr. Grossman, check the fit. And it was literally like JNCO pants with like a shirt we would have worn in the 90s. Yep.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Yeah, crazy. He's carrying a skateboard and I'm like, it looks great, bud. And I want to be like, we wore that 25 years ago. And then I was told that it's dumb. Yeah, I know. Everything comes back. Just don't smell like cat pee. Don't smell like, don't smell gross.
Starting point is 01:04:21 And then I guess. You'll feel better about yourself. You are worth it. Mowles right. You're worth feeling good about yourself. Yes. Mm-hmm. Yeah, clean it up just a little.
Starting point is 01:04:28 And then, you know what? Grinch pants in all game. Yeah. Smells like the. The weed fairy has arrived in the studio. Steve is back. What up, Steve? Hey, good morning, guys.
Starting point is 01:04:43 How you doing? Steve from real life botanicals. Now, you know the drill. We can only talk about certain things on the radio. And then we'll go over to twitch. tv.tv.com or head to the show. We can show you all these amazing products as we have a whole box of goodies in here. Yeah, look at that one.
Starting point is 01:04:58 But you said you have some news? What's some news you want to share? Well, I mean, we have so many great new products. I mean, so many things that are hitting the edible categories to be able to have a real. really buzzy holiday season. Yeah, the juiced brand is really incredible. These I had heard about, I guess, vaguely explain what these cheesy blasts are.
Starting point is 01:05:18 Then we'll show them on the Twitch stream. They're similar to a Cheeto product. I don't want to do any trademark in friends. For sure, yeah. But yeah, we have those. We also have pot corn now. So not used popcorn. Awesome.
Starting point is 01:05:30 And, I mean, we've gotten a lot of great feedback. So we started doing larger bags of flour now. So we're starting to do larger quantities. Yeah, I mean, it's just we have a feeding frenzy on us. So we wanted to be able to at least hold someone over for a day or two with an ounce or something, whatever. Let's at least just run through the brands and then we'll give all the, you know, the unallowed stuff and stream. The popcorn, though, that's something, you find, that's finally something I've never had. I've never had popcorn, no.
Starting point is 01:05:55 And it's nice because it is one milligram per kernel. So at least you can have several. But, yeah, we kind of joke about a challenge of eating the whole bag. But, I mean, obviously a serving is only 10 pieces. So cool, though. Good idea. Great idea. How many servings you have, and we've been working on doing our own beverage line as well. So start infusing some apple cider, but we didn't quite have it ready for fall season.
Starting point is 01:06:20 So the brands you want to look for at your local Dispo are real-life botanicals, Mac Farms, Cheech and Chong, juiced, and then... We also have Pure Bud Topical. The Topicals, yes. The Topicals are a very good one, yeah. Jason was telling me at that. you will have most of these brands of green on top 1744 West Genesee Street coming up very, very soon.
Starting point is 01:06:41 I just had a rip of a coin yesterday. Yeah, yeah, you did have some points. I forgot about the coins. Let me jump. Wow, there's so many things going on. You've got so many products. I got to show our viewers. Twitch.com.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I hate having to try them all. Slash the show. It's hard to ever complain about this job when literally this happens. There's a box of stuff there, yep. You cannot have a bad day at work when this is a day at work. I try to brighten everyone's day.
Starting point is 01:07:07 You do. You do. You do. Or twitch.tv. slash the show. I want to show you some of these products. Hey, nice beaver. Come on.
Starting point is 01:07:15 And this is K. Rock. Happy Thursday, Thursday. A lot of wood. Means cocoa puffs. Cody's got a lot of things on his plate for tonight's cocoa puffs. A lot of stuff. It's a lot going on. Steve from Real Life Botanicals.
Starting point is 01:07:26 Just stopped by with his delivery. Yep. So much product. Oh, and new stuff that I've had, have yet to encounter. Can you at least. try those cheesy, those cheesy poofs wherever they are. Let me try one? Yeah, just for R&D purposes. No, wait, now or tonight?
Starting point is 01:07:41 Tonight. Okay. Not now. Save them for tonight show. Save them for tonight show. Okay. Because if we got to carry those, we got to carry those. I mean, I've never had like an infused. No, it, cheese thing. I have when there was like that, when people didn't care. Mm-hmm. And we're like, no, these are weed Cheetos. Oh, yeah, that was all the year. So I don't. The gray market stuff. But even when that
Starting point is 01:08:03 was around, oh, no. I did have popcorn, and it was like the best thing ever. Remember that we had that, it was the gray market stuff, but in that big bag, because you had it too. Vaguely. I do now that you say that. Yeah. Oh, now I'm extra excited now because that was really good. So that would be great.
Starting point is 01:08:24 Cocoa Puffs presented by Joe's Buds, 4656 on Indaga Boulevard. So I said, nice beaver because, first of all, would you? I saw the funniest clip. of a beaver yesterday. I didn't know beavers did this. And I can't, I don't have it to bring up. You'll find it in your algorithm now that I'm saying it out loud.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Bevers do this thing where they chew on a tree and then they stop to listen for it cracking to no one's going to fall. Yeah. And they make the funniest face is that face. They'll do. And they look. And then they stop and listen.
Starting point is 01:08:59 They got to make sure they don't want to get squished. So because beavers are just always, you know, they see running water. and they say absolutely not. I don't think so. I do not think so. I like those videos, too, of beavers in a house where people are... Dombicated viewers?
Starting point is 01:09:12 Well, not so much, but they still want a dam, so they're just grabbing stuff and putting it in doorways and such. But why? Why are they doing it? I don't know. Beavers are weird. Experts are introducing beavers into ecosystems and watersheds to help combat droughts. Basically, the more beaver dams the better.
Starting point is 01:09:31 Oh. Kind of keeps the water, I guess, all tucked up. puts the beavers to work. It's about a day of time. In the face of a warmer, drier climate, having more beaver colonies, more active beaver in a watershed makes that watershed more resilient. In their blood, they have one thing, and that's to dam streams up and make deep water habitat so they can survive. At extreme events like a big flood, these beaver dams can spread the water out laterally,
Starting point is 01:09:56 slow the water down, and in extreme droughts, they can store water so that there's more water later in the season. Is that true? Jerrickson and chat says beavers also poop and then eat their own poop and then poop again and they won't eat the second poop for some reason. Interesting. Really? That's double poop. Once on me. I don't think so. Fool me once. Shame on this beaver. Foo me too. Not a touchy roll.
Starting point is 01:10:20 8.2 from the judge's high praise. High praise. Come on and this is K. K.R. Get the show on demand or wherever you download your favorite podcast type in K. K. Rock, the show. 8-2, John. you see the numbers, I don't, I don't judge. I don't judge. I live in here now.
