Starting point is 00:00:00 We interrupt this program. Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish. They are not part of the legitimate business world. What they do is they celebrate underachievement. And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil. And if I could find somewhere constitutionally to do away with it, I would. September 17, 2000. next year by our Lord.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Oh my. We're cooking, man. We're cooking, cooking right along. Busy, busy Thursday this morning. How's everyone doing? Are you good? What's up? Are you good?
Starting point is 00:01:02 You, okay. Is everybody good? Is that like? Put your pods away. Uh-uh. You don't do pods. Not in home room. Put your pods down.
Starting point is 00:01:10 No, we're not trading cards either. Uh-uh. Put them down. You see those guys playing Magic to Gathering in the pit at a turnstile concert? No. That's funny. People are funny. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:22 That's great. None of your Pokey mains. No. Put the Pokey mains away. Home room is for talking with teachers. I get it. You. Getting your homework done.
Starting point is 00:01:31 I love a Pukachu just as much as the next guy. I love a snor lax just like anybody else. All right. I get it. Squartle. Squirtle. We all get it. Wrap it up.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Che burger, Che burger, Cheeverger. Uh, yes. I get it. I know the references. Not today. Uh, good day. It's like we're in this. I don't think it breaks today, but we're in that weird temperature where it's not hot,
Starting point is 00:01:55 but it's muggy as hell. Right, yeah. It's not hot. No, we're... But it's humid. Like yesterday, I, for the longest time, I was still wearing the tank top. Yeah. It was still hot outside.
Starting point is 00:02:06 I think that breaks today with these storms that are coming through today. So, uh... Yep. Here we are. Not much left for those hot days. Uh-uh. What do we got playing for a Thursday? Well, God will be.
Starting point is 00:02:21 and the creek don't rise. Jenny Bagel coming in with some breakfast sambies. I mean, it's going to be exciting. Hubina, hubbana, hubba, hub to, hop, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, when Jenny stops by, tell you about some things we do with Jenny bagels as we get near our third, or, uh, Thanksgiving little broadcast show we deal with her. We'll tell you about that. We're already almost.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I know. I know. I got to tease it. I got to tease it. Thanksgiving. I love it. Also with the Cocoa Puffs Thursday tonight, 7 o'clock. Twitch.tv. TV slash the show.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Plus two football games that we care about. Cutes a pit. Yeah. And then the bills are home tonight. That's very weird. A lot of stuff going on tonight. Yeah, that's, I'm sure a lot of people are real upset about that, to be honest with you. The way just timed out like that?
Starting point is 00:03:06 Well, that's Buffalo, like the bills, watching the bills for the big chunks of these areas and watching cues for big chunks of this area is a big deal. I don't really put them both on a Thursday night. I know there's nobody, you know, sure, check. with the teams. Well, I just don't know of, like, when's the last time my college team plays Thursday? Is that a thing?
Starting point is 00:03:25 Every, every week. Every week there's a Thursday night college game? Yep. Oh, I didn't know that. Yep. Must not happen to Syracuse a lot because. At once in a great while. But, yeah, not too often.
Starting point is 00:03:37 I assume this one's on ESPN. I should have checked on where all the things. Oh, God. No. But, yeah, I assume Espin. I should have checked where all the things are as no. Normally, you would get bills on K. Rock and Utica. But we've also got Q's football.
Starting point is 00:03:58 So I should. It might say it on that sheet on the door. It's all right. I'm not going to bother Con at this hour. No, on the, our door. Not opening the door. What do you think I'm made of hands? Just made a hands over here?
Starting point is 00:04:13 All right. All right. You need one of those UTVs to go down Fayette Street right now. It's reckless. is asked to leave that road open. What does it look like right now? Katie says I'm pretty sure I left half of the underside of my car on Fayette Street yesterday. They're
Starting point is 00:04:28 paving or whatever they're doing but they had to remove several inches of the road but you can't remove the where the, you know, manhole covers or whatever those, you know, whatever all that is. So, every so often it's a landmine that's this far off the ground
Starting point is 00:04:44 and I'm not exaggerating. There's like a foot and a half, two feet. People are just smashing into it. People are just smashing into I would avoid that stretch. It's crazy. So you got to like, like it's a video game in and out.
Starting point is 00:04:56 But then some, now you can, you start to see it because it's before you get there. But at this, when they started it, you turned down to the street. And it just said,
Starting point is 00:05:04 one of those orange signs, it said bump. And then it didn't say anything. It was like, it's a little more than just little bump right here, guys. I know we complain about it a lot. And that's just kind of a couple old man
Starting point is 00:05:16 complaining about constructions. That's what we do. What we do. and I was telling chat that I pulled up to the show five minutes before the mics went hot because my lift driver had the audacity to attempt to use a highway around here, which you should not, I guess. Nope. They're just primarily for construction vehicles.
Starting point is 00:05:34 We're like SimCity right now. We're just building everything. Yeah. Which is, I guess, going to be great down the road. All right. We'll have all these things. We'll have Micron. We'll have great highways.
Starting point is 00:05:45 81 will be flawless. We'll have this aquarium. It's going to be great. But right now, while our creators clicking around with their mouse, putting a building there and putting a road there, while then we got to have this. No, and I know that's, again, we don't have the answers, but it's not my ball of yarn to unravel.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I didn't do this. Yeah. I didn't think it was acceptable to have every single possible construction project go at once. Everything happening at once. And I am happy that our city is growing and thriving. whatever's going to happen. It looks nice and it does. But right now.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Those parts. Just, you know, that, things like that. And again, we got to bitch about stuff. That'd be a weird show. If we were just like, guys. Everything's great. Everything's great. Everything's great.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Goodbye. Good night. We should attempt a good news show one day. We should attempt a good news show. Because, I mean, you know, once the ones that are done, you ride on them, they are nice. They are nice. Like all that interchange crap over the North Syracuse stuff is nice. All of the completed 81 stuff looks great.
Starting point is 00:06:49 I'm happy that we're doing it. That new, although I, as somebody who has to go 81 north to 481, I got a 50% success rate right now on that new ramp. Right there by Cicero, wherever that is, where it changes. I almost always miss it. Yep. I go, ah, crap. Not used to it yet.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Not used to it yet. Orwin never by Loretto. Yes. And it's 81 does that thing. And you're like, oh, which way? Set my poor wife into tears because she got off on that. She didn't know where she was going. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:07:22 We were driving back from, I think, a basketball game last year. And she had left from work and I had cut whatever. So we were in two separate vehicles. And I went the right way and she got somehow forced off. So she was going to like Jamesville type of deal. So she instead of going like this, she had to go, ooh. Yeah, she's like, I don't know where I'm going. Doing a big loop.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Yeah, it's fun times. Hey, it's fun times. It's relatable. We're all bitching, right? We're all bitching. We didn't have goats eating all the grass either. When I went to my dermatologist over there by Loretto, what is that, Brightonab or whatever that is? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Is there two roundabouts now? I think I went through two roundabouts. There's a couple. There's a couple. I like those. So they're... I like a roundabout too, but I was like, oh, we got double round. Yeah, two roundabouts, dude.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Putting them in. They're trying to alleviate. See, they're going to alleviate the traffic. I know. I know we're negative Nellies a lot. This will be great. This is all going to be great. but just right now it's fun
Starting point is 00:08:18 fun to complain about. So get some herb and enjoy your Thursday night. Thanks to Joe's buds tonight, 7 o'clock on Twitch.com. TV slash the show. Coco will go live for a Cocoa Puffs. Say, say, just say it. It's the Coco Puffs before our big trip tomorrow morning. We're going to go down to the city and get lots of freebies.
Starting point is 00:08:38 I bought a big airtight tote for us to bring back our goodies, yep. Just a dump. It's going to be like Halloween. Like Halloween. What do you dump all your candy out? Okay, let's dump it all in there. Go ahead. Well, because you and I like different things.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I know. So we're going to get back and make, okay, I'll trade you here. You can have this bud. And I'll trade you for those edible. I don't, my dad actually will eat those. He likes those. Oh, you got the brook with that. How did you even get those?
Starting point is 00:09:05 Whose house was there? Who's given out full nugs? I got a toothbrush. You got a toothbrush? I got a toothbrush. the weed convention? Yeah. Although someone there giving out little bags of chips and raisins and stuff, probably can do good.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Yeah, I was talking. Dude, rude. I was watching, I was talking to our boy, Steve, from Real Life Botanicals because he's going to be down there. Oh, cool. And I was texting him, I go, what is this like? Like, Cody and I don't know what to expect. All the photos just seemed like it's crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:39 And he goes, you went to Oswego, right? And I said, yeah. And he goes, it's like that, but everyone's high. And I go. okay I didn't go to any parties I didn't go to any parties but I can know what you're talking about
Starting point is 00:09:52 I was I likened it to in a smaller scale as if you paid to get into taste to Syracuse and then they wanted to give you all of the things because they want to work with you
Starting point is 00:10:11 because we've seen a bunch of our dispensary friends go to this convention and they'll come back and post photos of just their hall. The pictures I've seen. And God, I hope that happens to us. The pictures I've seen if... I hope we're coming back with halls.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Because, I mean, if you got to... There's vendors. And if they all have something... Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be hard to be like, oh, free weed. No, I'm all set with that.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I'm taking anything and everything. Because even on the website, it says your pass. Your pass that we have grants you samples from all the vendors. Yep. So I'm going, trick-or-treat style. I'm going.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Backpack open. Twick-o weed. Yeah. Twick-o weed. Fill it. Hi, can we tell you about our products? Sure.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Go ahead. Yeah. You're on a socket. In a second way, I get it. Thank you. I'm so excited tomorrow morning. All right, so no show tomorrow morning.
Starting point is 00:11:06 But we will fill you in as soon as we get back. It's going to be a good time. Want to scream, bud? We already complained about road construction and then. I just, I mean, it's like... We just saw the exit that we take to get to work is not going to be close for a week. It's not us being ridiculous. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:11:24 They're ridiculous. They're ridiculous. It is insane. You can't close. Oh, here's no way to southbound. Oh, here's 690 West right over the way. Oh, here's all the West Street. Can't drive there.
Starting point is 00:11:34 You can't close every direction. We need roads to drive on. Well, I need my hover car. If I had my hover car, I can just get around. You know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Jump off the building. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Can't drive a car when you... Can't do it. Can't do it when you squash yourself on the ground. Oh, my God. Coco. I don't know how to get to work that next week. You know, yeah. You guys tune us in and we're not here.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Sorry. Either they finally turned the power off to the building, or we just couldn't get off the road. Yeah. Couldn't get off a vehicle. That'll leave my house at 3.30 in the morning now to get here. Oh. So anyways, yesterday, Metallica announced out at the new Highmark Stadium.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Right when we got done. Right when we got done, they announced that show. Good news, I believe next week in the ride at five, Khan said he's going to have some Metallica tickets to be giving away. So that's good. Interesting. I'd be like that. With the, I assume is the biscuit on all of them?
Starting point is 00:12:37 I don't know. But I love Limbiscuit and that'll be a fun show. Yeah, I would just be so disappointing. No offense to Avatar. But if I, I'd be. No, I got the avatar bit dates. Yeah, my date's got avatar on it. Not one biscuit.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Well, I was telling chat earlier, I was like, the opening acts for Metallica always bummed me out because the stage has been built for Metallica. So the opening act is always just out in full sun. Like, figure it out. On like one side of the giant circle that they're not filling that entire circle. I mean, maybe Limp will move around a little bit. But that was like, you don't get to use any lights.
Starting point is 00:13:16 No, it's like house lights are still on. Yep. They're like, we turn on more lights. Pantara. It's just theirs. There's Pantera. It's all acoustic. It's all acoustic.
Starting point is 00:13:27 People are coming and going. No speakers. Hey, nothing. You can hear the beer guy. I call beer here. Speaking of beverages, you know, I'm a big guy. I love a beverage. I love a beverage.
Starting point is 00:13:38 You're a bevy guy. And I have a lot of beverage. I'm a fan of beverages you can't buy. And by that, I mean, If I want a high C orange, I got to go to a McDonald's or I got to buy a little juice boxes. Like there's no in between, right? Like you want to sell it at like a gas station type deal? Yeah, I want it in a big jug or I want a bottle of it, right?
Starting point is 00:14:01 Okay, okay. But there's only two options. I got to go through a drive-through. I think we would all love if you came in here and just pulled out a juice box. Well, I showed you what I was doing. I put it on my TikTok or whatever the kids are using now, where I'll go to a McDonald's and I'll buy the high C orange even though I don't want it right now
Starting point is 00:14:18 and then I'll fill up my bottle at home so that in my fridge I've got a big old bottle of high C orange and that's your high C orange And you love it more because you made it yourself As I was going to say you made it yourself You made it yourself so it means more to you Yep And I don't know why they've never offered it in a different size
Starting point is 00:14:35 At the store like in that aisle I think they did when it was At its peak Right like in the 90s I think they probably did but now it's, it is what it is. Like I can't be the only one that loves high sea orange. No.
Starting point is 00:14:50 Because they brought it back at McDonald's. But anyways, this is a high sea orange rant. This is a Capri's Sun discussion. Okay. As I love a Capri's sun. And briefly, around the turn of the century maybe, if not maybe in the 2010s. Yeah. Remember they would sell the Capri Sun in the metal bottle?
Starting point is 00:15:06 I do. And I love that. You did? You were an adult Capri Sun guy? Yes. I mean. Because I mean, nothing against, you have a pouch business. Nothing against.
Starting point is 00:15:14 sipping out of a pouch. You got them right there probably in the fridge. I'm not necessarily looking at... Get punched. Well, they're coming for you because they're... Uh-oh. See that thing you just held up? Yeah, those aren't rare anymore.
Starting point is 00:15:27 They're coming for you with the new Capri-Sun big gulp pouch. Okay, they did this for a little while. Which holds 20 ounces. How many ounces of your punch thing? Do you know? It doesn't say. Probably doesn't say. Yeah, I'm not really sure.
Starting point is 00:15:38 But good amount. I bet similar. Yeah, this is the size difference. Looks like your punch bag. Yeah, maybe a little smaller. Because they used to have these, right? The big ones? Like it was called it, wasn't it called adult Capri-San?
Starting point is 00:15:54 It was around the same time. They had, like, they put them in, like, bottles and then the, the jars. The jars, the, oh, my God, what did you just say? Pouch? No, before that you liked. A bottle, metal bottle. Metal bottle. The metal bottle.
Starting point is 00:16:07 And I think they were, they had the bigger ones like that, I think. Capri-son is going into the supersized market as they, They are offering a 20-ounce big gulp pouch, which is more than three times the original size of a normal Capri, son. $6 each. You can get, um, for now it is a limited time thing. Six bucks for a big old pouch. No.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Yeah. I'm paying $6 for fake juice. And my question is, this is why these beverage companies need to put me on staff. Because why not just put it in a bottle? Why does it got to be a giant pouch? Where am I going to put that? Say I want this pouch.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Yeah, and you do it. The reason your pouches work is because I'm at a festival. And you can reseal if you want. I can hang it around my neck, whatever. I go into a Walmart and I'm like, you know what? I want a Capri Sun Pouch. I got to squeeze this into my cup holder. Right?
Starting point is 00:17:03 Pouches aren't very, you know, consumer friendly outside of lunchtime in the cafeteria. Now, they're going to start making adult ones of that, where somebody makes a whole ass sandwich and then one of them and then like a bag of chips. Well, why not adult lunchables? That's what I'm saying. And then you put all that together, adult lunchable. Adult launchables, full-sized launchables.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Yeah. If it is a success, they will add it to the permanent lineup of Capri-Sun products. It won't be. You don't think it will be? Not at six bucks. That's too much. Because how much is just a, I don't know what they are. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:17:35 A 12 pack of Capri-Song. Oh, that I don't know. I'll need to go look. But I don't, I don't know the realistic element, like, like they fall over. And I mean, I know you said you liked it. You don't like Capri, son? I never even was like, oh, Mom,
Starting point is 00:17:53 Jonesing for Capri, son. I do love a fruit punch, Capri, son. But I liked them in those metal bottles because it tasted colder and crispy. Things out of the metal bottles and stuff like that, they are colder. What do you guys think? You're getting up the big one? You're getting the big pouch?
Starting point is 00:18:06 You get the big sack? Coco Popsco's live on Twitch. Dot TV slash the show. Or just head to the show. for all of our live streams. That's easy. And our podcasts right there. Very easy.
Starting point is 00:18:18 The end on that. And the Strong Museum, which is right in our backyard, houses the National Toy Hall of Fame out in Rochester, New York, and they have announced their nominees. As we do this once a year. Strong Museums, National Toy Hall of Fame
Starting point is 00:18:32 have revealed their 2026 nominees. So how does this work? I got 12 finalists, and then they... How many do they boil it down to? Yeah, I forget. What is it? We have to pick four of these, right? Three or four? Strong Museum's criteria for toys, blah, blah, blah. You can vote on the toys now.
Starting point is 00:18:50 It doesn't say in the story how many we boil it down to, but all right, I'll give you the list. Okay. Of the nominees. I'll say we have to pick four, if it's 12. Last year's inductees included slime, trivial pursuit, and battleship. Oh, so three. Okay. So I guess we've got to pick three. Okay. All right. Choose wisely. Some of these guys, some of these.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Oh, no, don't say it. It's a little veils. Like wasn't stick nominated one year? There was like a stick or a rock or something. For example, slide. Is swings in? Because yes. A slide, just a generic slide.
Starting point is 00:19:31 As kids from that generation, we played on a lot of slides. Played on a lot of slides. I would say yes. I'm not writing it down. And think about how blessed. It's a fine nomination. Think about how blessed we are to live through the era of slides we did.
Starting point is 00:19:49 We started with metal slides. Oh, my God, yeah. Which were the worst. Oh, man. And by the time we finished school, there was like plastic spiral slides and stuff. Yeah, my brother had the luck of all of the real nice where they were like, all right, how about the ground doesn't need to be concrete. Yeah, wood chips. Oh, the wood chips.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Right. How about that? And not everything around. it needs to be either wood or metal. So, yep. Although we did have to live through that era in the 1900s when it was all, everything was wooden, like the wooden plate group play. I love them too, but so did bees and hornets.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Yes, they did. They were extremely dangerous and we were all getting splinters. They looked cool as hell. Yes, they were, they are. We had one go up in Fulton, dude, and I remember that was like Mecca. You pull off and you're like, oh my God, this is all play area? It was awesome. But it also was wrought with so many issues.
Starting point is 00:20:44 Don't go. You get some little kid who comes around. Don't go over by the slide over there. There's so many bees. There's so many hornets. There's a lot of woodbees over there. Be careful. My little blood of it got stung.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Now we can't believe. My cousin gig, I thought we had to go to a hospital. Okay, bye. All right. Slide doesn't make your top three interesting. No. No. Bingo.
Starting point is 00:21:07 Oh. Bingo's not in? I wouldn't even consider that a toy. I would consider that like an. adult gambling thing, right? It's a game. It is a game. But other games are in.
Starting point is 00:21:17 So I have to allow bingo. That's like, who doesn't know how to play bingo? Yeah, bingo should be in the toy Hall of Fame, because it is fun for all ages. But do I... I don't know my list, though? Not one of our favorites.
Starting point is 00:21:31 I don't know if it's ready yet, and I'll say that. I don't know if it needs to go in yet. Okay. Because compared to slide and bingo, it's still very young. Yeah. Bop it. Oh.
Starting point is 00:21:41 Bobbitt belongs in the Hall of Fame at some point. I don't know if it's a first ballot. I feel like Bobbitt's been around longer than we think. Been around since the 90s. Yeah. But slides have been around since the zeros. Yeah. So I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:57 Not yet. I don't think Bobbitt yet. I'm going to write it down. Okay. To be honest with you. National Toy Hall of Fame nominees, we got 12. We've got to get down to three. It's a big brand, bud.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Care Bears. Bouncing here and there and everywhere Care bears But they didn't I mean yeah People know of them I like to be a care bear But I don't
Starting point is 00:22:26 I will say this because I don't Again I don't know what's in And what's on anymore We've done this so many years Yeah If the ninja turtles aren't in Then care bears aren't going in Agreed
Starting point is 00:22:35 100% If the ninja turtles are currently in You can make a case for care bears for me Yeah because I liked carriers Don't get me wrong, it's just Mm-hmm. Mahjong.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Again, I see that as more of an adult game, but I guess it's more of an Asian culture thing. I don't, I know. I've never played it. I know of the word. But not, I don't know what was, how do you even spell it? Mahjong.
Starting point is 00:23:02 M-A-H-J-O-N-G. Oh, okay. Yeah, it's very popular in Asian culture. I never played it. I don't know. I've never played it either, so. This next one I say I'm hard no to. This doesn't even make sense.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Monster High dolls. Remember Monster High? They were like, yeah. Those weird, like, little. Yeah, get out of here. I don't know anything about you. Yeah, no. Yeah, I guess Katie says right.
Starting point is 00:23:32 It doesn't say kids' toys. So Majan could be a game or a toy for adults. Yeah, I just, I don't know it enough. Yeah, yeah. You could convince me otherwise, though. Now this one. This one I could debate. Mousetrap.
Starting point is 00:23:49 The game Mousetrap. I feel like... Never played it. Built the Mousetrap. Over and over. It was over at skis. Is that the saying? It was too ambitious, I think, is what you want to say. Yeah, you're like, I don't want to be setting up.
Starting point is 00:24:03 Yeah, it was too ambitious. Four hours of... It was fun to build a Rube Goldberg device when you're a kid that somebody already designed for you. Yeah. And then you had the little guy jump off the thing. thing into the bathtub. That was fun. But I never once played the game Mousetrap. No, I remember using the Mousetrap thing for other things.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Oh, really? Like putting like, I don't even know, whatever the G.I. Joe's were fighting for. And they know the basket come down on them? Yeah. Yeah, that type stuff. But no, never anything else. Now, this one is an obvious. This one, this one would be first ballot.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Pokemon trading cards. Yeah, that's got to go in. It's too big. It's too big. It's too big. It's bigger than anything else. Yeah. Yeah. Poly Pocket.
Starting point is 00:24:48 Wow. I remember them. I lean on you, you ladies or maybe the gay boys who had polypockets growing up. I had Mighty Max. What was Mighty Max? Same thing.
Starting point is 00:24:58 The boys version of a Poly Pocket. I never really dabbled in Poly Pocket. I was aware of it. I know if you don't know what it is, it was like a little large-sized compact that would open up and you could play with your... It was cool. Right there?
Starting point is 00:25:11 Polypocket. I don't know. I lean on the ladies and the gay boys. What did you, what did you think? I remember, I remember Polly Pocket. That was, that was out there. Back to board games. But I, I, I don't know, I don't, I can't put it on here.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Back to board games. I already have two. You already do? You only one more spot? I put Bopin and Pokemon. Oh, boy. Yeah. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:25:31 The board game, sorry. Sorry. With, sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I like it. I don't think it's, sorry. I don't think it beats out these other nominees.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Nah. Now these last two, I'm biased on one, and the other one is an absolute. I'll stick with the game category. Yatsy. Oh, yeah. I think Yatsy goes in. I'm going to write it. I love Yatsy.
Starting point is 00:25:55 I've never played it. So I don't. But the final nominee, it has to go. It has to go. Oh, really? Yeah, you're not going to, you're going to pick this because it has to. Okay. Tickle me Elmo.
Starting point is 00:26:06 Oh, yeah. It's too big. It was too much of a cultural icon. People killed each other. People murdered other human beings to get these stupid things. All right. Yatzy. All right. So we run through the whole list one more time and we can all get our submissions in text line 315, 365, 1009.
Starting point is 00:26:20 Chat, the show.out FM. Bingo. Bopit. Care Bears, Mahjong, monster high dolls, mouse trap, Pokemon trading cards, Polly Pocket, slide, sorry, tickle me Elmo, and Yatsy. Word. Cody, what are your three? Bop it? Pokemon?
Starting point is 00:26:43 Okay. Tickle me Elmo. Yeah, I'm with you. I'm with you on Pokemon and Tucklemi Elmo. I think I'm going to put slide in, though. You want to slide over Boppet? I think Boppet. I think Bopper deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame.
Starting point is 00:26:53 It's just not yet. No, I agree, but slide is, it should be in. There's no reason how slide isn't if there's stick and, you know, rock and rock. And if there are swings. Yeah, if swings are in them, yeah. Then without a doubt. Will? induct Boppet in its lifetime.
Starting point is 00:27:13 It won't we, and it's not going to be posthumously. We will let it, we will let Bob and joy its induction while it's still alive. Yeah, have at it. But it's just not yet. It's just not yet. Cocoa Puffs at 7 o'clock on Twitch.tv. The show, too dangerous for radio presented by Joe's Buds 46, 56, on and Daugabalovar, bod.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Oh. Uncle Ferg's in chat right now. You'll see him later today, I'm sure. Hey, yo, it's the Vergman. Ferg face. I have a question for you ladies What? You're going to call him Furg-face? He's very big and he's very strong
Starting point is 00:27:45 And he could punch us and both. Well, he's both down. And he's a ginger. He is. He is like, I'm sure he never got that growing up. I just hadn't heard anybody say Ferg-face in a while and I was drinking and it went into my nose.
Starting point is 00:27:57 And I'm only saying it because I am safe in this room and Uncle Ferg is not in this room. But I'll see him later. He's going to punch me for you. He is a very big man. He's going to say, here, give this to Josh. And he's going to punch me. Yeah, he got it all the time.
Starting point is 00:28:09 He said growing up. Sorry, Uncle Ferg. Cody told me to say it. No, I did. Throw me right out of the butt. Good. You know what? He wrote it down and handed it to me.
Starting point is 00:28:21 All of a sudden, you know what? I think I'm going to be real thirsty for the next. Oh, perfect. 24 hours. I think I'm going to be real thirsty. That's going to mean we got to stop on so many pee breaks tomorrow. Yeah, no show tomorrow. We're going to a big party, big weed convention down in the city.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Oh, I can't drink. That's hard. So I turn to you, ladies, with a question. Nice. Cody and I have, we're very similar in the fact that when I get home, I take off my pants and I put on my shooty hoop shorts. This whole office got to go. Whole thing changes.
Starting point is 00:28:55 And then I either got house shoes or I got my slippers. Well, I'm learning now, over half of women claim they get home and they have a house bra. Nice. So. Nice. Ladies, you get home and you put another bra on, you just don't go free as a bird? You know, so let them hang.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Bang around under the shirt down there? A couple clackers. Fuzz says no bra. I assumed you all went no bra. Yeah. I didn't, three and five women will ditch the bra as soon as they get home. A survey explored 5,000 women across 50 states and asked that question. It was commissioned by bravissimo.
Starting point is 00:29:38 which is, I guess, a bra thing? Everyone's saying it comes off. Yeah, right? Let them hang, ladies. Yeah, it's out. I love getting home taking my bra off. Yep, everyone's saying, nope. They say three and five,
Starting point is 00:29:49 we'll take their bra off multiple times a day. With those in Kentucky, back to Mitch McConnell, those in Kentucky, take it off five times a day. Oh, my God. So women in Kentucky are just popping off their bras, freeing the puppies five times a day?
Starting point is 00:30:04 And then just what? It's almost like a, My hat? You know what I mean? Like, I'll pop my hat on for a little while, going outside. You don't even put it on. All right, I'm back inside. I don't want to take my hat off of you.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Is that what it? Is it a similar feeling to like unbuttoning your pants after a big meal? I can't imagine. You're like, oh, there we go. I can't imagine how nice it's got to be. It's got to feel so nice. It is so unfair that you ladies got to wear that. And I know you do because otherwise they hurt, like they bounce too much, they hurt.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Nice. This is the best conversation ever. Talking about ladies. I love this story. I just know. Yeah. I am married to a large-chested woman. I know her back's always hurt.
Starting point is 00:30:42 Well, if we go to camp, like, not to give too much information out, if we go to camp, it's a bumpy road, and, like, the bumps hurt. You have, like, hold them down. Nice. So I think you're trying to contain them the best you can because they're annoying. Even now, you know, there's just to have a wire here, some elastic here. Uh-huh. Asin Jay, I've been married 16 years, and I still get so much joy,
Starting point is 00:31:05 sneak in a peek when the bra comes off. Oh, yeah. You never outgrow it, fellas. Just see you know. No. No. Or lesbans. You never outgrow it.
Starting point is 00:31:13 No. You spend your whole adolescence seeking out breasts. You want to see them. I mean, God willing, you get to touch them at some point. Right. And that never goes away. It's just in our brains and we're excited about it.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Yep. Do you ladies feel the same way about weans? No. No, because they're gross, right? They're gross. Yeah. We visualize them forever. Once we see them, they're in our brains forever times.
Starting point is 00:31:39 The survey revealed that it's not just at home where women are taking their bras off. They'll pop them off in their car or even at a close friend's house. Yeah, oh, I'd imagine. Anywhere you're comfortable, I would. Why not? You don't have to be wearing it. But it's also, it's got to be a chore, right, all the time being having to. Well, then it's a lot, right?
Starting point is 00:31:59 Right, you got to go and go pop. That whole device is a lot. Yeah. I'm glad you ladies got it, but there's something. many straps and buckles and underwire and all that stuff. Two-thirds of respondents say they've never been professionally fitted for a bra. I've been told that's important. Like, you go to like a...
Starting point is 00:32:18 Professionally fitted for a bra? Yeah, you go to like a Vicki's, a Victoria's Secret or a Fredericks of Hollywood. What do they like? They measure you. Oh, with a thing like how we get measured where the guy that measures your pants, then it's weird though how they do your crotch where they have to like pick it up and like hold the shaft and like wrap the thing around the shirt. shaft. And they do it behind the bridge, which is weird,
Starting point is 00:32:37 like a weird place to do it. Hey, I'm no Taylor, so. But that's what Rosa used to tell us. She'd be like, yeah, well, you go get it a real fitting. Instead of just going to Target and buying a bra. Yeah, that's what it's... You go get a professional fitting. That's what I assumed. No, you got to get it really. You know, you just give a little... Brat says they measure asses there, too. Give a little one of these. Okay, and then you just...
Starting point is 00:32:56 And then you just... Why is Cody filling out an application over there? Right, I'm just... Let me just go ahead and... Mm-hmm. That'd be great. Mm-hmm. Handbone, my wife flashed me. Well, that was mowing the lawn Monday.
Starting point is 00:33:09 So awesome. Yeah. That's just fun. That's just a good relationship you have. Good for you guys. Yep. Is there a brannic device for butts or breasts? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:33:18 I don't know. I know they measure around, and then you get your cup size. Yeah. We should get fitted for bras. You're talking about that before. I need a little back support. It would be nice. It would be nice, right?
Starting point is 00:33:30 Anyway, so that's just some data coming out of this bra study. A, look. A large majority of women say that a better fitting bra would increase their confidence in some ability. Yes. Yeah, that makes sense. It's like a, when you've... You got a good, like, suit on as a guy, like a nice pair of pants. When you look good, you feel good.
Starting point is 00:33:50 You look good, you feel good. You look good, you feel good, ladies. Yeah. All right. And Cody's available to measure anyone's breast. I can learn. I'll do it wicked fast. We won't even even know.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Is Big Paul moving or no? No, he's sitting over there. He doesn't know what's going on, does he? We got to let Jenny Bagels in. You can't tie his shoes, sir. I know, bud. You want to tie me? I know.
Starting point is 00:34:16 Wait until you could see her. Then you can tie me. Well, I don't want her standing out there on the road. Do I have a read I could do? Just ready? Ready? All right, go ahead. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Right now Cody's running to the front door. We're timing him. He's going to pull something. He's going to let Jenny Bagels in. She is here. To discuss Bagelicious. Hey, I'll tell you what I'll do. tell you about tonight's Cocoa Puff. 7 o'clock tonight, 7 o'clock,
Starting point is 00:34:39 Twitch.tv slash of the show or the show. Cody will be live. The show, too dangerous for the radio. Brought you by Joe's Buds, 46, 56, 56 on anaga Boulevard. Get over there and check out all that good, good, new stuff all the time. And you know what I'm talking about. How do we do? Is you back? Is he back? How winded are you now? Fine.
Starting point is 00:35:08 You know what I got to do, Coco? Now I'm going to bring you with me now that you're athletic. Yes. I'm going to head up to ask you and go to a dardy. Have you heard of these dardies? It's a new college trend. Let's see a dart. Cigarette party?
Starting point is 00:35:21 Smoking darts? Yeah. Cigraty. Yeah. No, quite the opposite. The latest trend on college campuses is a wellness dardy. It is a daytime party with no booze.
Starting point is 00:35:33 Is it like what the weird, like, track team used to do to Svigo? What do they do? Where they would have, they play like, water, pong. and drink water shots. Why would they do that? Say hydrated. Oh, all right. You'll do Pilates, yoga, ice bath, matcha.
Starting point is 00:35:51 I bet there's hot chicks at it. Probably what I'm thinking. If you're a fellow looking to meet some hotties, these are not just, you know, it's not SUNY purchase doing well in this, Dardies. It is University of Miami, Syracuse University. Really? Florida State.
Starting point is 00:36:05 University of Florida, Alabama. Interesting. You go up and down for Trinity Row, and you'll see kids on the lawn with yoga mats, protein shakes, smoothies. And it probably helps for when you want to get all buck wild later. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:22 I mean, to be a smoothie and it had a bunch of yoga. I'm all hydrated. I'm all relaxed. Yeah, it's good that the youth is being more healthy. And we were not. No, we did not focus on much health in college. Quite the opposite, actually. No.
Starting point is 00:36:38 But the younger gen's all about wellness, taking care of themselves. Good for you guys. Yep. Good for you guys. We're all going to die from cigarettes, but you guys are going to save us. We, again, we've mentioned it, we, when we played beer pong, we thought we were fine because, yeah, the ball's rolling around the grossest, dirtiest floor basement or whatever. We've got a water cup.
Starting point is 00:37:01 You dunked it in water. You've done all you can. And if the person was smart, it was probably like hot water to start, you know, because if it's hot, that clears off all of the bacteria and dirt. So, I mean. It's because clean as it's going to get.
Starting point is 00:37:17 I'm looking forward to this new generation coming up. I feel like they're going to do a lot of good. Maybe I'm being too optimistic. But all the mistakes that our generation and older has made, I feel like this new generation. They seem more aware and kind of like smarter. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:33 If they're taking care of their bodies, maybe they're going to cure whatever we need to have cured because we screwed up. Well, it seems like every generation is a little bit more, like, aware. Socialism. And like they see, like, all right, that didn't work. We'll try it a different way. All the kids with booze now, they saw us growing up hammered. They're like, I don't want to be that.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Or dying of heart attacks at, you know, 45. I don't want to do that. You know, not only does Jenny Bagels shining face always bright in the room. Yes. But the delicious smell of bagels feeling. this room right now, Jenny. Good morning, boys. Good morning. Jenny is here from Bagelicious Bayberry
Starting point is 00:38:14 Plaza in Liverpool. If you're not watching on Twitch.tv slash the show or the show dot FM, I'm showing you the giant tray of bagels. You need this bagel tray. You need this bagel tray and I hadn't even thought about the other options. Like you just see a bagel tray, you're like, I guess I'll bring that to work. No, no, no, no, no. Tailgating. You got a noon game?
Starting point is 00:38:32 I like, yeah, right that. Bring it back, bring in this. That's where it's at. Put the soccer one. Soccer field in the morning. You'd be a champion. That's a good idea. Passing the bagel tray around at soccer. What does this cost? 2995.
Starting point is 00:38:45 2995 for a whole. 15 bagels, three cream cheese, knives, sliced, butter, jelly. How early? Package to go. You walk and you pick it up. How early ahead do I got to order these for 15, 20 minutes? That's it? It isn't like a two-day-old deal?
Starting point is 00:39:01 No. I could call you right now and get a bagel tray by 8 o'clock is what you're saying. Absolutely. Wow. Awesome. See, then that you bring you. that to the soccer field, that allows you to yell, and the other parents can't really do much. I provided the bagels. He brought the bagels. He's allowed to yell a little bit.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Late to work. Stop and get a bagel tray. That's why you were late. That's why you were late. Nobody's going to even, what do they care? We brought bagels. I keep a bagelicious bagel tray in my car at all times. So when I'm late for something, I go, gosh, I had to stop and get the bagels. That's my fault. Let's run through some of the treats you brought in for us because you're not just bagels. You'll do lunch as well. What did you bring in for lunchtime? Yeah, look, you got over there. I got the January. So, Jenny. Yes, that's a chicken, bacon, ranch on, what do you got?
Starting point is 00:39:41 I'll seed bagel. Okay. So chicken, bacon, ranch, lettuce, tomato. Does that mean that's the one you like the most? That's what I eat. Do you eat every day at your shop? Oh, my gosh, yes. Why don't you?
Starting point is 00:39:53 I would. Oh, I like that. And then I got the BLT on cheddar for sandwich. BLT. What does Colette got over there? Lunch. Oh, the blanche. Yep, you're right.
Starting point is 00:40:02 I got the classic. I love the bacon and egg on a. Oh, you got the classic. Like bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. Langer egg and cheese. The only thing that's more plain than that is plain bagel, plain cream cheese. Right? I do love that as well.
Starting point is 00:40:14 That's a classic. And then what are the ones you bringing over to Gomez and shoe laces over there? Shulet. Velcro. He's got a egg and cheese on an all-seed bagel and he's got a taterlicious on a poppy. That's what I had last time was the Taterlicious. Taterlicious, it's the thing to do. Now that we've done the business, let's get into some fun.
Starting point is 00:40:33 Fun. As every year, we do our annual food drive over at Bagelishus. partner up with the food bank. We love it. We get to canned foods, non-perishable food items, all that. A lot of cash donations, people are just stopping in. We're going to change it this year. We're going to change it this year in a couple different ways, hopefully.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Hopefully, if things go well, we can do a second change. And I'll tell you about that in a second. This year, we're going to do it the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We have been doing it the Friday after Thanksgiving. It's been great. People work out great. We want to try it the day before this year to see if that... It's going to even be better. It's going to be even bigger, right? I think so. I think so. I think so. I think it'll be
Starting point is 00:41:06 bigger. So the morning of Wednesday, whatever that is, the day before Thanksgiving, 27th, whatever it is. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving plan on coming and seeing us live at Bagelicious. 25th. As we do it every year, our annual food drive with Jenny Bagel is a Bagelicious. But maybe we won't be in Liverpool, Coco. Yeah. Jenny. What do you want to let people know about? There might be a bagelicious coming to Cicero.
Starting point is 00:41:34 A bagelicious opening in. Cicero, right where Cody used to live. I'm pouting so hard. I can see the, I know exactly. I'm looking at the back of your building. Do we need to Google map this for you? No, right. There it is.
Starting point is 00:41:50 I can see it from my big bay window that we had. I'm looking at it right now. So a second Bay Galicious is opening in Cicero. Correct. I hope that we can get an open in time. That's the plan. For our big broadcast. If not, we'll go to Liverpool.
Starting point is 00:42:06 Hopefully, we'll be right next to the National Guard, you said, in that plaza? Correct. Yes. Coming to Cicero, Biggillus. Soon. Big announcement. Awesome. Right here first. Right here.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Exclusive. Lease has been signed. Get the contractors in there and get things going. I love it. So cool. Bring Cody in to do demo. You love it. Oh, that'd be a fun video.
Starting point is 00:42:28 Can run you through a wall. That'd be great. Bite the bagel. How do we order online? How do we do all the things, Jenny? Bagelicious bagels.com. Bagelicious bagels.com, you place your order. I do it all the time.
Starting point is 00:42:38 Play sure to you walk in. There's your order right there on the counter. Even better? DoorDash Grubhub, Uber Eats. Stay in the pajamas, they'll bring it right to you. Love it. I love it. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Or get these bagel trays. Bagel trays. Breakfast sandwich trays. Give it 20 minutes. You can have this thing ready for you. That's awesome. You can have one this morning. You got on work right now.
Starting point is 00:42:55 You want one this morning. Order one now. Let's see who orders one before I get back there. Yeah. Who's over at the shop, Jerome? No. I got the 18 working over there. You can handle it then.
Starting point is 00:43:05 I was going to say, don't overwhelm Jerome, but you got the over. You got the whole staff. All right. Perfect. Bagelicious. We love you. Hopefully we'll be showcasing your new location, even if it doesn't make it in time for us. Plan on it.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Yeah. November is the date. We're hoping to get this thing open over in Cicero. Thank you, Jenny. Thank you guys. Coco puffs tonight. Seven o'clock. It is raining.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Yeah. Rain's headed this way. All right. See, there's a little, but it could be that. That might be heard that. Oh, okay. Yeah, we'll get a little thunderstorm then. Yep.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Twitch.tv slash the show or the show. Dot FM. I've been seeing our nighttime streams have been growing quite well, so I like to see a bigger audiences come in. Awesome, yeah, I already got some stuff. You do? Well, I, uh, pardon me. I don't, I have so many things every week that the last couple that there's a few
Starting point is 00:43:49 that I haven't shown that I just put up to the side. Now I can keep going for the next week. And I have a bunch of fall stuff that, because you know I like to be themed. You like your themes. So if anybody out there is of the same, uh, like, I have a bunch of stuff to show you that, you know, you go into the pumpkin patch. I got you. You're going to the apple orchard.
Starting point is 00:44:11 I got you. And then I would imagine next week's Coco Puffs, I don't know what you'll show off. We're headed down to Revely. I didn't even think of. Reverley Buyers Club tomorrow in New York City. It's the biggest New York Cannabis Convention. I'm trying to just. Tamper your expectations.
Starting point is 00:44:29 Yes. Yes. Because as someone that has. I think it's going to be insane. Used. cannabis for a long time. Yeah. To ever think...
Starting point is 00:44:38 It'd be like this. There would be a thing where you're driving down and it's like a conference for it. Yeah. Yeah. It's blown my mind. And I'm trying not to be like, it's going to be the greatest thing ever. Just in case it's just great. No, it's going to be great.
Starting point is 00:44:55 No, it's going to be great. It was only great. No. I mean, think about the reasons you've gone down to New York City. You've gone down for Oasis. Yeah. You've gone down to sit. Thro at a Yankees game.
Starting point is 00:45:05 And now you're going down to get unlimited free weed. I've seen Dallas Cowboys. Southern Dallas Cowboys, yeah. Couple times. So only good things have happened to you on these trips. Knock on wood, knock on wood, knock on wood. Right. I'm pumped.
Starting point is 00:45:17 I'm excited. Every, every New York City, I mean, every New York State, grower. Yeah. It's all got to be New York State growers to be allowed in New York State. From what I was reading on their page of everything. The crew from High Peaks is on the list. Aeroom is on the list.
Starting point is 00:45:38 Our boy Steve from Real Life Botanicals is on the list. Everybody will be down there. It's going to be fun. We're going to come back with a lot of goodies. And this number looked low. It looked low in my initial reaction to it until I realized they were counting all adults. And then I guess there's a pretty high number as only one week into the NFL season, 6% of humans have gambled on it.
Starting point is 00:46:05 And I saw 6% and I go, that's a low number. But then I realize that's of all gambling adult age humans. Yeah. That's a pretty good number. Right? That's a lot considering there's what, how many billion people?
Starting point is 00:46:18 Mm-hmm. I mean, it was fun. They pulled more than 6,000 people yesterday. Go ahead. And I didn't add into that. I just spaced out and didn't better. on anything the first week. What? Yeah, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:46:32 Could you're focused on fantasy? Well, that and just by the time I sat down and was like watching and, you know, whatever, I was like, oh, I didn't do any of the pregame bets. Yes, you can do whatever. And, you know, I just didn't for the first week. So I am so. I will. I'm so thankful to have you in my life.
Starting point is 00:46:50 Today. Well, I'm thankful to have you in my life for a lot of reasons. But more specifically, it's because you've given me the ability to have a conversation about fantasy football with my youngest. Oh, good. I guess he's a league manager. Okay. Is that a big deal?
Starting point is 00:47:05 It's, you're, I mean, you're in charge of a lot of, you know, like the goes on in the league. And he's a teenage boy, so teenage boys don't really talk to their parents very much. We're lucky that our oldest is a chatterbox and just wants to hang out and chat. Yeah. Youngest is very much, bro, but he loves talking fantasy football. And one of his buddies had that same player that you had, who was on the Bears, but didn't get a single touch or whatever. 59 points for the Bears. Colston Loveland, zero points, zero reception, zero catches.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Yeah. Thanks, bud. Thanks starting tight end. I'm able to talk about that stuff with them and at least like understand what he's talking about. Yeah. Make sure everyone sets their lineups now. Usually you can kind of wait. So this is week two tonight?
Starting point is 00:47:49 Yep, but it's going to be jam packed with people with the bears or the lions and bills. Some people have Derek golf, but the Lions wide receivers, I bet everyone's got at least two of them. He's got Josh Allen, his quarterback. He's got Josh Allen. You've got Sam Leporta for the lines of tight end. Jamir Gibbs, James Cook. Jimir Gibbs was the number one pick in his league. He had him last year and he did great with him. I went with Bejohn Robinson.
Starting point is 00:48:14 I had the first pick for our work league here. And I went with Robinson just because I figure if their quarterback's crappy over the Falcons, and they got to give him the ball a billion times. But hopefully that doesn't bite me in the end. He said he's doing something where he'll pick. You pick different defenses every week or something? You can. So he picks the defense that's going up against the dolphins because the dolphins suck.
Starting point is 00:48:35 It's a good idea. If you can get it, then, yep. It's usually one of those where. But if you got a good defense, you don't want to drop them. Well, back to this, 7% of adults say they haven't yet, but they plan to. Hey, it's me. That's you. So we're going to be up there.
Starting point is 00:48:48 We're going to be up there in numbers. I will. Just be careful, please. Just be careful. Yep, don't. Don't be going too nuts. There's no such thing as a sure thing. Don't chase your losses.
Starting point is 00:49:00 Right. For one, that's like, that's one. You may disagree with my parenting style. But I allow my kid to use my Draft King's app. Yeah. Unless you're going to arrest me or whatever. And then I do. I'm the one doing it.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I know. It was just for radio only. But, yeah, this is a bit or whatever. Because I see the problem with all these kids going to college and getting gambling addictions. You saw it firsthand. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:26 And I don't want that to happen. So I'm letting him dabble in like draft kings because I want him to lose a lot. So he learns that nothing is a sure bat. Just so you can see that. Yep. Nothing. And I, and I, every week. What did, uh, I'm looking at draft kings and win.
Starting point is 00:49:44 Yep. Well, if this would have happened, that's gambling. Yeah, that's the whole point. They don't build these giant casinos giving out money. They don't hire Kevin Hart to do, you know, gigantic ads giving out money. Yeah. They always win. Yep.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Turningstone ain't building a giant expansion because we beat them up every day over there. No. The house wins. Some people win. Yes. But most do not, buddy, all right? Yeah. So I'm trying to get that in his brain before he goes off into the world and thinks that gambling is easy.
Starting point is 00:50:15 It's not. No. That's to remind him, you got that addiction DNA in there too, but. Yeah, that gets fun. Yeah, it gets fun, but you got that DNA in there, but. Gambling is fun. Yeah. Makes my heart.
Starting point is 00:50:26 Her peak. I tell you plenty of stories of my grandmother spending her last pennies on scratch off tickets, all right? Not the bass, but it is very, very fun. Scratchers are fun, too. It is very fun, I know. And then those, the pole tabs. Oh, I haven't gone, and I've never even seen them, which is so weird to me, considering that they're so readily available and I've never even seen one.
Starting point is 00:50:45 And honestly, maybe my nanny was doing the same service for me, because I would go gambling with her. And you'd be like, oh. And I would see how bad it goes and how, like, she didn't have any money left, but you're still gambling. So I got to see it and how it didn't work out So that I grew up again, I love gambling You're like, oh, But I have the governor on Where I'm only willing to lose a hundred bucks
Starting point is 00:51:06 Like if I lose a hundred bucks, I'm mad about it Yes, yes But I'm not going to keep going back to the well Being like, no, no, no, I know this one will hit This one will hit Cody and I like to go to the slots together Right, we gamble Right, you win a little bit
Starting point is 00:51:20 We went away, and we walk away I love walking away Walking away is my favorite move Take a little bit I just got paid to be here. Because I also look at it as the powers that be aren't going to be like looking to get me. You know what I mean? Like it came in.
Starting point is 00:51:39 They played a little bit. They didn't keep Preston luck to try to win more and more. What do you mean the powers of be like? Like the gambling gods. Oh, right, right, right. They saw and went, look at that. They just won a little and they were like, that's good. That's all I want.
Starting point is 00:51:53 I just want to scratch that it. Next time they see. see, they can be like, they're not here to clean house. Let them have a couple. Yeah. Because before we were, they don't know that well as we would clean house, but we just like to win a little. Now, as much as I kind of celebrate gambling here, I do not love that it's available
Starting point is 00:52:14 on everyone's phones. I feel like that's dangerous. If you're responsible like Cody and a lot of you and you can play your draft Kings on your phone, great. Yeah. But I think it gets a little too dangerous for people who may be aren't responsible like that. It can be a bad thing for people.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Not even... And now the slot machines are on your phone. Well, that's what I was going to say. Fan duel and Draft Kings, yeah, be careful. Those are what I think is... I worry about society with that. Because now those are real, right? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:52:42 I don't download them for that reason. I don't want to know. Because we had them. You know what I mean? Like, those were a thing. Sure. Like fun casino games. But now, I think, aren't they real?
Starting point is 00:52:52 I think you're playing for real money. Or that makes me nervous. for people because then you're just boom yeah I don't like that boom there goes some more boom there goes some more I don't like that I mean like that that oh no no no no again from a family who has addictions and one of them was gambling I can see how that goes bad for a lot of people really fast
Starting point is 00:53:10 and we're already struggling to pay the bills you start chasing your losses yeah no no no no I just lost like 10 times in a row why would I lose 15 times in a row like if my grandmother was alive right now I don't I don't know she'd have a home anymore to put it on her at least when she was alive she had to go to a casino or go to a bingo hall. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Like to have a space that you have to go to was at least a little bit of a project. Now you can just sit on your couch and go it. I don't love that. Or just look how easy it was just at gas stations and just, oh, and here's some slots. Yeah. Up, and here's some slots. And I won and I left. That was it.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Whatever Pennsylvania. Let's stop there tomorrow. There you go, right. You got to find that one again. That machine's hot. At Pennsylvania. Machine's hot. Pennsylvania machine, hot, baby. Not Wawa gas station, Pennsylvania machine.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Whatever that was. It was hot. I love that feeling. So I'm talking out of both sides of my ass, I guess. I love playing slots and gambling. But again, it's... I'm worried about other people that don't have the self-control that I have. Because it could be, it's an addictive thing. Because I went into that gas station with $3. Yeah. I put the $3 in.
Starting point is 00:54:17 What's doing? Like, I hit it twice. Like $20? $11.000. Oh, yeah. See? I have $11 profit. Pay for my drinks. Immediately. Immediately too. Right away. Yep.
Starting point is 00:54:25 You walk away. The show. At FM for all of our links and live streams. Is that me? That's me. That's me static. Oh, what'd you do? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:54:33 It's all static, you know. Oh, I thought it was mine because my little thing over here. Oh, hooy, ho. Cocoa puff tonight. 7 o'clock on Twitch. Come back. Twitch. Atch.com.
Starting point is 00:54:43 Or the show. com, I mean, anyways. What'd you see, bun? It just started a pour. Yeah, the rain came out. I think. Right? Or is it just my foggy eyes.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Well, let me your foggy eyes, actually. Now that it's out the window. It's raining, but, I don't know. But yeah. No. Well, I'm a lot of time. Well, listen. Jojo, our girl Jojo and her husband Rob are in Colorado right now.
Starting point is 00:55:03 In Colorado wildlife officials are warning residents. There's a lot of bears right now. Apparently a drought in Colorado. Uh-oh. Has driven them out of, like, their normal place. Okay. Ooh, could that be like here, too? Because are, you know, kind of a drought?
Starting point is 00:55:18 I don't know. I don't know. Was I talking too much computers and I dried it all up? A little bit. A little bit. A black bear on Friday bid a woman through her tent on the Rio Grande National Forest Campground. Why does someone pour grape Kool-Aid all along outside of it? Nobody would do that.
Starting point is 00:55:36 That'd be a crazy thing to do in a bear-infested campground. He would almost attempted manslaughter or murder. That'd be a crazy thing to even consider. Who would ever do that? Right? Wow. He's reverencing me that I did do that. A two days later, a bear entered a home through an open,
Starting point is 00:55:53 window. Those videos are always the scratch the 17 year old girl who's in bed. Oh, like sleepy time? Oh, that's terrifying. So why are they mad? Why the bear's so mad at us? Because again, they're probably looking.
Starting point is 00:56:05 They're thirsty. And they're also probably hungry because if there's a drought, they ain't got no fishes. Yeah. So they're out looking for picnic baskets. That's what bears eat is pick a picnic baskets. It's fishing picnic baskets. So Colorado's recorded 10 bear attacks on people.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Wow. Which officials describe as unprecedented. And again, I'd love to live through just some precedented times, please. Right. Where is attacks? People on bears. Much more rare. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:56:34 Do I attack bears? I mean, I go to different bear meetings, but that's a different group. A local drought is drastically reducing natural food sources for the black bears, which require up to 20,000 calories a day leading into hibernation. Because they got to just lay there for months. That's usually what I got to have for killer. can take on a daily basis to about 20,000. Oh, that's why you see it right there.
Starting point is 00:56:56 That's why that one time he killed a baby beluga whale and ate it. Then he had to do anything for the entire winter. Residents and campers are urged to secure trash doors, windows, and vehicles. I always get excited. I'm excited when you're headed up north and you start seeing like the trash areas like bearproofed. Oh, yeah. Because you're like, oh, you're up to the Enronnics now. Dude, when we stayed at that spot,
Starting point is 00:57:22 In Tennessee, when we were up in the smoky mountains. Yeah. How do I describe this? It kind of had like a wraparound deck. Yeah. Because the house was built on the side of a mountain. Yeah. So like the deck kind of wrapped around the house.
Starting point is 00:57:35 And the part you sat at to look at the mountains was like right at the corner of the house. And around the corner of the house was where like the secured garbage was. Where they would still. They still know it's there. And maybe because I was drinking moonshine or whatever. But I kept thinking I was hearing or seeing bears and it was so scary. I was like, what is that? They know they just, they come on and they're like,
Starting point is 00:57:56 maybe they left them unsecure. Like, God damn it. Like you say, it worked once for them. Yeah. To get that cage over. They're going to keep trying it. Ah, all right. We'll come back later.
Starting point is 00:58:04 Yeah, bears like garbage and cheeseburgers, just like me. You're right, John. Oh, we are very similar. Yeah, that's true. We are very similar. They know. They're fun. I've seen a couple bears.
Starting point is 00:58:13 That's great. I've not seen a bear in many years. I chased that one in the woods. You did? When was that? It was, we stayed at the old forged campgrounds. and we were all up by the fire and my brother and someone else
Starting point is 00:58:26 can't remember who were in the cabin and all of our like snacks were right by the door. So we turned and there was just a bear like if they opened the door. Oh my God. The bear could just look up at them and just mine now. And it went through and it went through our
Starting point is 00:58:42 peanuts and took out all of the ones that were just cashews. Like you know the packs of peanuts? It can do that? Like the multi-packs? It went through and just took the cashews, the little jerk, like chased it into the woods before and then I was behind the little cabin before I realized I'm in the dark in the woods here and they chased a bear. Sprint it back to the other way, but yeah, it went through and it picked out the ones it wanted.
Starting point is 00:59:05 Took them into the woods. Cashews were the past. Did it know or did that, like, total chance? That's interesting. It's a baby mouth there. It's like, you son of a bitch bear. Callie says, I remember when I was in middle school, there was a bear loose in the Salvee Fairmount area, so we went on lockdown. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Every once in a while, we'll get one down here. There was that one, when I lived in Cicero, when they found dead right at the, like, the on-ramp. Oh, that's right. I remember that. To 41 there. Yeah. So they come down here. We're, not to be that infomercial, but we're taking down their territory.
Starting point is 00:59:42 We are. And as we take over. We're approaching on their homes. Take over their land. It was their homes first. Mm-hmm. We're taking it all. This was going to action. And, like, with this, there's droughts and,
Starting point is 00:59:52 lack of food. They're not going to go, you know, one other, you know, what other direction? They're just going to start walking wherever and they come down here. Yeah. It's going to be, uh, we're going to get into Fat Bear Week here soon as well. We do love Fat Bear Week. I had the one up by me just like a year or two ago. Remember it was in like the Onondaga, they saw up like the last, like the cemetery. Oh yeah, it was on that ring cam or whatever. Yeah. So, oh God, that'd be great. Yeah. Again, I can take, I can take you to meet some bears. They're just not. They're, well, yeah, yeah. They're just different than what you think They're going to be.
Starting point is 01:00:22 Same kind of scratching. Say, yeah. Same body types. Our friends, Lindsay and Anissa are back from the Marriott's Airkees downtown. My friends. Hi, guys. Now, listen, we're going to get a lot of grief from our audience because last hour
Starting point is 01:00:37 we promoted an event coming up before Thanksgiving. I know. And now we're about to talk about New Year's Eve, all right? Just the season. We're not rushing. We're not trying to give you anxiety. It's coming, though. You're trying to say we're gambling on things?
Starting point is 01:00:51 Oh, good one. Cheeky. He's really good at this. You're better than chat GPT. So let's get into this because the biggest New Year's Eve party every year is over at the Marriott, Syracuse downtown. You guys do a bang-up job. You go the whole theme. What was last year?
Starting point is 01:01:07 Gatsby was last year? It was like the 70s. Yes, 70s and they've done the Gatsby thing. Club 54. Studio 50. Yes. I had to think about that. But now, we are ready to announce the theme.
Starting point is 01:01:21 Of this year's New Year's Eve party ladies, go ahead. Tell the people. The theme is... Drum roll. A night in Vegas. Oh, my gosh. What are we going to do? We're so excited. So, of course, our packages come with open bar, buffet dinner, full cocktail hour,
Starting point is 01:01:40 access to casino gaming tables. We have dessert bars, late-night snack. It's just completely loaded. And you were telling us that it's not like obviously cash gambling, but it's for prizes, right? It is. It is. It is. We have prizes. Yes. And people still love the thrill.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Oh, yeah. So good for that. Oh, yeah. And each different ballroom, I'll let us to talk about that, has a different theme. Yeah, go ahead. Yes. So our grand ballroom is going to transport you to Caesar's Palace. Okay. Persian Terrace, we're going to go to the Bellagio, which is my favorite. And then the Finger Lakes ballroom is going to be themed as New York, New York. I love it. That's so cool. Now, did the Marriott fly you to Vegas to do research? I would hope that they would.
Starting point is 01:02:16 I mean, you got to do some research. That's a really good idea, guys. I need to consult with you. before I do these things. Yeah. You can't go into this blind. You should at least go. You have to do research. Spend a few weeks down there.
Starting point is 01:02:27 Exactly. But these do sell. These tickets sell fast and we want to get people in. So when does this on sale start? Give me all the details. Yep. So tickets will go on sale October 1st. Rate on Eventbrate.com.
Starting point is 01:02:37 Very user friendly. You can pick what ballroom that you want to be seated in just for dinner. And we are offering an Early Bird special starting on October 1st, which will get you 20% off your tickets. Oh, wow. Early Bird, 2027. And you want to do? that quick because it will run out.
Starting point is 01:02:52 Early bird 2027? All right. That's what we want to look for. But it also makes a great gift because people have a lot of, you know, birthdays and celebrations, but Christmas. Even if you give it at Christmas, you're still like, guess what we're doing in a week? We're going to go to this kick-ass party down at the downtown. We have specialized little packages where we actually print the tickets for you so that you can give them in a box. Yeah, it's really nice. That's a fun idea.
Starting point is 01:03:14 And we're doing like the room packages as well. We can go just to the party or get the package. Right. You can just go to the. the party or we have a link for you to book a room with your ticket. Okay. And let's not forget, there are still home games. We have tailgating going on too.
Starting point is 01:03:27 We do have tailgating. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We had a great one versus KLS week, obviously, you know, bummer losing by three. But the tailgate was a really big, great turnout, beautiful weather, excellent entertainment. And that shuttle ride to and from the dome is enough for me to want to go. It's clutch. You just park right there at the hotel and they'll drive you up there. When is the next home game?
Starting point is 01:03:47 When is that? October 17th. That's right. And then you got Halloween as well. You doing anything fun on Halloween? Well, we might be doing a Halloween party in 11 Waters with a costume contest where you could win $500. Whoa. Yes, we're working on that right now.
Starting point is 01:04:03 But, you know, it's hard with an SU home game and trick-or-treating because it is on a Saturday. Sure. But I think people are always looking for something fun to do on Halloween. Yeah. For sure. Adults are always looking at a party on Halloween night. So just be following them all on social media. There you go.
Starting point is 01:04:16 Marriott, Syracuse, downtown. Lindsay and Inissa, always lovely to see you. Get your tickets one last time. October 1st go on sale. Early Bird, 2007 is what you want, right? Yes. Thank you guys. Susan and chat says,
Starting point is 01:04:28 whatever you do tomorrow, Josh, don't lose Cody. That's your one job. I didn't even see that. He's going to be at a weed convention. I'll know exactly where he is at all times. He will not be straying too far from that building. No.
Starting point is 01:04:41 And I don't know my surroundings. He might not know where he is at some point in the day, but he ain't going to leave the place. It's like when you feed a stray cat. It's not going to leave your porch, now. You're giving a food. Yep. Nope.
Starting point is 01:04:54 And I'm good at just seeing what I tend to, just in case I learn, I learn, like, the top half of him looks like. Like what his neck. And ball that would look like? The shirt. All right. He's wearing, like at the Yankees. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:10 I was like, all right, he's got on his black shirt and he's got on his Yankee hat. So I didn't have to keep up. Just follow that. I could just be back here and go, black shirt, Yankee hat, black shirt, and I mean, everyone had on. but I just kept watching for that. Aren't you impressed to see how well my kids can follow me? They've been trained for years.
Starting point is 01:05:26 Right? That's impressive. The same way. They must just follow my head around. It's got to be what we do. We just, we all accept that as long as we, all right, we know. Imagine them how we're short. Right? Oh, I mean. You'd lose me.
Starting point is 01:05:36 No, you'd probably have to stay with us. You've got your big daddy long legs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And you walk in fast. That's it. It's over. So, yeah, we just learn and we see where he are. All right.
Starting point is 01:05:45 He's there. It's all going to be an experience. Can we to tell you guys about it on Monday's show. It's going to be fun. Cindy says I should add you to my life 360. That'd be hilarious. I'm like, I'm not sure. Pop it up.
Starting point is 01:05:56 All right, he's 20 feet behind us. There he is. Yeah. I do that all time in stores with my family. Yeah. Like if we're in Walmart and I can't find them at Walmart, I'll just follow Life 360. There they are.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Okay, right there. Good idea. I don't normally check in on the crime blotter of Maryland, but. Probably a lot. I don't know if this is her real name. I guess it's on the mugshot. so it must be her real name.
Starting point is 01:06:22 But a 38-year-old woman named Tiffany Booze, B-O-O-O-Z-E. Yeah, I can see that. Flipped out on a store clerk because the checkout line was taking too long. Do you ever been in line with people like that? And what is just taking forever? No, or like, no, the person, somebody else in line is freaking out
Starting point is 01:06:41 of how long it's taking. Oh, like, what do you want me to do about it? It's always just so uncomfortable. We're like, I don't know why I'm in line, too. I have this weird reaction. Maybe it's just because I'm an a-hole. but when I see people getting aggravated over stuff like that, I just laugh and find it funny.
Starting point is 01:06:55 Yeah. Like I just kind of, I'm like, what do you want them to do, bud? There's nothing you could do. Nothing you can do. It was a lady last Christmas at Marshall's that I remember in my head. Because that line gets long. And Marshall's got a Christmas time. And it was a good one.
Starting point is 01:07:11 I mean, even I, when I got in, I was like, oh, that goes around that. Oh. Yeah. But what are you going to do? It's Christmas. Should they have more staff? Probably, but that's not a problem we can solve right now. Nope, they had every register open.
Starting point is 01:07:25 They're not like, you can't go any faster than that. But, dude, for, it was probably 20 minutes, 15, 20 minutes, which isn't that long when you're standing there. Every two to three minutes, she would, I guess we're just going to be, hey, be standing here. I guess no one else has anything else to do today. And then you'd be quiet. Still staying here.
Starting point is 01:07:44 Oh, my God, lady, shot off. Every two to three minutes, it was like, so it was like, five or six different times of her doing that. 420 says, I said something to a lady once. She was being such a bitch. Yeah, just relax. Yeah. You got to plan extra time at marshals.
Starting point is 01:07:57 You got to make a plan out of it. Yeah, you got to know. You're going to be in that line for a second. It takes a sack. Relax. Ironically, the self-checkouts have made it worse because I'm always stuck behind some boomer man who, are you in the line, sir?
Starting point is 01:08:09 Or are you just doing your natural pause in the middle of everything with a full cart? Or... What is it? Or it's supposed to be a convenience thing. Right. Right. Not so you who are unsure of every effing screen that pops up.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Go stand in a line with a cashier. Go analog, bud. Oh, my God, every single. I don't understand. Nope. Nope, you're not ready for this. Dwyer. Or Dwight.
Starting point is 01:08:41 I don't, what do I do here for? No, no, go analog. Go back. Come on, back them out. Or they, we should be able to, because I still say we, you know, I know you're in the grocery business. We should be able to say something to you jackoffs that think you're so special that you can take full carts through the 15 or 20 items of less things. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:58 Because at Walmart, they don't say a damn word. Price shopper every once in a while. But like, you should be able to be like, hey, hey, hey, whoa. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I don't care if you think that you need. I go to be somewhere. I don't care, dude. Well, you shouldn't have come to Walmart then if you have a busy schedule.
Starting point is 01:09:15 Kick your ass to the cashier line. Yeah, Paige. have a week's worth of groceries for a family of five. Cindy, I was told no to self-checkout a wall because I'd won over the limit. Wow. Oh, wow. Maybe they're cragging down.
Starting point is 01:09:29 Oh, it's one of my least favorite things where you're in line with somebody that you can see, they have a full cart. And you're like, well, no, no, no. And, like, you're trying to, like, make eye contact with the self-checkout person. I mean, like, you're not, follow my eyes. Follow my eyes to their car. That'd be a fun job for you, I think. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:09:47 It's not like you'd be a grocery store, but you'd be like you'd walk around. Excuse me. Back it up. I don't think so. You could have a badge or something? Well, I did. That's supposed to be front-end supervisor.
Starting point is 01:09:57 Yeah? And at Walmart, I don't know who. Is there front-end supervisor? Yeah, I don't know how that works. Because when you see like the podium at Front Shopper Wegmans, that's for us. And they have access to a phone. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:10 So that's kind of... You're supposed to walk around. I'd be like, man, we can help be down here, ma'am, that kind of stuff, right? Yeah, we'll take you down here. Mm-hmm. But, yeah. I don't know. Anyways, what a
Starting point is 01:10:20 What a disaster. She freaked out. She did flash a gun allegedly. Oh, she had a... That's going to get you an even more trouble. That's when I at the very front of the line go, ma'am. Why don't you go ahead and come out up?
Starting point is 01:10:33 Yep, go ahead, help yourself. Front, right here. My spot's all yours. Now, going back to when I used to do missionary checkout and go through the actual line, the grocery store I'd go to, I knew how to really chatty cashier. Oh.
Starting point is 01:10:47 And I got used to seeing her, because she clearly worked the same schedule and I'd be like, I'm just not going to go in that lane. Not because I don't want to be chatty. That's part of it. But I also know that this is going to be a long, slow line. Yep. Yep.
Starting point is 01:10:57 Because we got the chatty checkout lady up there. No, I more hate the person that just every part of the screen confuses them. Paying is the most confusing thing. Listen, I'm not innocent in that either. Do you want of times I've yelled at a top screen or a... Oh, because I didn't put the item down. Yes. The items down.
Starting point is 01:11:18 You have to learn some of those are the most frustrating things in the world. Why does it matter if I put the item on this thing? Why does that matter? So, because if you don't. They're double-checking me or something? Which I understand if, you know, for if you don't scan it and I'm putting it in the bag, it registers a different weight. But if I already scanned it, why the hell do you care what I have done with it?
Starting point is 01:11:43 You're thinking that, well, he's going to scan it and then not pay for it eventually? like dial it back. The places that invested in the ones that make you do that. I hate those places. I call the Kool-Aid packet places. Why? Because it doesn't weigh the Kool-A packets? Well, if you scan a Kool-Aid packet, you have to as hard as you can.
Starting point is 01:11:59 Throw it down. Slam it on the side. Then it registers it. Or you have to look at the lady and go, I'm about to scan things that your thing's going to think that I Unrecognized item in the bagging area. And it never is. Unrecognized item in the bagging area.
Starting point is 01:12:12 It's never, no, no, no, no you're not. Walmart doesn't make it. you do that Walmart you just you know they're good no thank god tops is like that price shopper was for a little bit unrecognized item in the bagging area but tops is still like that every time I go there I have to like I'm like looking at the lady behind me like that's standing there I'm like mm-hmm it's not and they're all just you and the whole machine is running on like a 1998 gateway computer and stuff it restarts and it gives the windows 95 screen like oh boy all right all right here's your

Starting point is 01:13:03 Who would win in that, do you think? Or a Buffalo. A Buffalo. Who would win a Lion or a Buffalo? I assume the lion. Right? Because that's what they eat. Buffaloes and stuff, right? Yeah, right.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Sometimes you see that in the wild. Buffalo could stop out a lion. One of those animals somehow gets them with like a horn or something. And it's like, did you just get killed by a bison? Good to see. Well, the football version of that will be happening right now. I am the Lions. Cody is the Bills.

Starting point is 01:14:37 If I am... If I am thinking of it, I'll try to get some photos and clips for you guys. But, very good chance. I'll be highly distracted. And not do any of that. But I'll report back on Monday. You'll all about it on here, right?
