We interrupt this program.
Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish.
They are not part of the legitimate business world.
What they do is they celebrate underachievement.
And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil.
And if I could find some way constitutionally to do away with it, I would.
Happy Monday.
Final day of all.
I'm bummed about it.
I don't know why.
You're going to,
y'all are going to need to hype me back up.
I'm feeling sad about the end of summer.
It was awesome.
That was worth it.
It was a great summer.
I just don't like that it ends.
No, because now we get into the,
these are the next few months.
These are like the vast months.
Summer, yeah, summer's fun.
Everyone loves summer.
A lot of stuff.
First of all, you still got another two months of perfectly fine weather.
And another whole month of hot weather.
All right.
Let's not forget that every time we're like, oh, no, football Sundays.
Okay.
All of our football Sundays are all warm as balls.
Okay.
You're helping.
You're helping a little bit.
But then it's October, December.
My wife's got to go back to work this week.
Kids next week.
About time, they pull up the bootstraps.
And I'm bummed about it.
Like, you're right.
He is right.
He is right.
You get to work.
That we are getting in my favorite chunks of months.
Yeah.
So I got to enjoy that.
These are the best.
I can't be sad about the end of summer.
No need.
And all these people posting all their content.
Oh, final finale to summer.
Ending wrapping up summer.
That made me sad.
Yeah.
But then it's like, you're right.
I get Halloween and I love Halloween.
Right.
And I can go real hard.
Like, people judge you and you're celebrating October.
But at least tomorrow's September and you can't judge me anymore because I'm celebrating all Halloween stuff.
No, everybody, starting tomorrow, because I judge a little when I've seen a,
driven by a couple houses that I've seen.
I know, I know.
No, that are already
Halloweened out.
And it was like the middle of August.
And it's like, no.
I've seen people whose insides are already Halloweened out.
Because you make that joke after July 4th.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You don't really do anything.
Mentally I'm there.
Physically, I'm not.
Yeah, you're not doing anything.
But I've seen a couple where I'm like, no, no, no, no.
Oh, Fuzz is shifting into suit mode.
Suit mode.
You're a chili, boy.
I made 80,000 pounds of chili.
He's running a food kitchen.
He made so much chili.
Yep, I was being the homeless earlier.
How much of that's left all of it?
It doesn't look like I put a dent in it.
It was crazy.
So it's all right.
It's all right.
Lots to talk about from this past weekend.
Apparently everybody went to the fair on Saturday.
My family went on Saturday.
I said it was insane.
Yeah, that was just crazy.
That would be the biggest day, I think.
Oh, oh yeah.
$119,000.
I don't think you top that.
Just seeing the cameras and shot.
shots from the crowds and like the traffic.
I was on their like couple of their social medias.
Because, you know, in the comments, that's where everyone in traffic is updating as they
were sitting in traffic.
Yeah.
You never know how accurate these people are.
But there were a couple that were like, yeah, I'm sitting on 690 looking at the Harley
Davidson building right now.
Oh.
And it's like.
Yeah, dude.
Yeah, it was tough.
It was Saturday was the biggest day they've had in years and years.
So I know, yep, I know people that were parked that just put their car in the side of the road and salve.
I couldn't tell you the last time third-eyed blind played for 50,000 people.
Even they said they were surprised.
Yeah.
He walks out.
Oh.
Stephen Jenkins.
He's shocked by that kind of crowd.
That's what we're doing out here, man.
He's like, I want to take this a little serious.
Saturday was a beast over at the fair, so we'll talk about that.
I can't get a grip on what the forecast is for this week.
Today looks like rain.
Tomorrow looks good.
but like the rain might go south of us today.
So you might have a good day for the fair today too.
I don't know.
I can't.
I can't get a understanding on it.
And that's a poo-poo on the weather people because it's kind of fun this summer,
but they have been terrible at guessing this summer with weather.
So you can't really go by whatever they're saying today because they're probably,
oh, wash out.
Yeah, like so many times this summer.
They're like, dad, you're not going to be, it's going to be all rain all day today.
And then nothing happens.
And I get trying to be, you know, better safe than.
Sorry, but not 100%.
Sure.
No, wash out.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, who knows?
So I hope that we have a busy week at the fairly, for the vendors, all of our friends who are set up.
It seems like they're still doing pretty good despite some days with weather because it seems like it just kind of does what you always say.
What?
It gives it just, just washes it off real quick.
Just cleans it up a little bit.
Quick shower.
It cleans it up real quick.
And now and the rest of the day is pretty good, although you don't need it to be washed off every day.
Thank you, Average Joe for the sub.
Thank you, Pig Latin for the.
sub, twitch.TV slash the show.
Katie's sabbatical comes to an official end today.
Back to work today, she said.
Get a work.
Chicken wings says, great summer, but it felt too short.
It did feel short, but we got a lot into it.
We got a lot into it.
See, not that I disagree.
I just personally disagree.
You had a night summer.
I had a great summer.
Well, just, it felt, it was long.
Like, this one was.
It felt long to you?
Not long, but it was of the length where, now that it's ending,
I'm like, oh, summer was so fast.
You're saying it was a satisfactory length.
The length was appropriate for the situation.
The end of May, all the way until now, it's been packed with stuff.
There's been fun events galore.
It was a good summer.
It was a good summer.
We are shifting into the Burr months, as Ken says in chat.
So there's more fun events galore.
Thank you, Katie, for that sub.
We appreciate it.
Thank you, Laiu.
Yeah, was it there.
Lottie says that was the biggest third eye blind show ever.
I bet.
I believe it.
I can't imagine they're getting nothing against.
No, they're a great band, but 50.
That was a lot of people for third eye blind.
Yeah, did they headline it when they were here at the amp?
And even if they sold that out, that's 17,000.
Yeah, no, it was not sold out.
So even if you sell out the amp, you're getting 15 to 17,000 people.
Yeah.
So good for them.
Good for them.
Good for them.
The show.com for all the links.
So one thing you can look forward to in the month of September, Cody, is the new Luke Brian album.
I know you're looking forward to that, September 18th.
The album signs comes out, September 18th.
And what's going viral is potentially the word, like Luke Brian,
listen, I appreciate any crossover.
Thank you.
Luke Brian fans that might also listen to us.
So take this with a grain of salt.
He might be the worst songwriter of all time, okay?
And I'm, if go and join him, I'm not yuck and you're yum, but he's really bad.
And the lyrics, maybe they're trite for a reason.
Like, everything is about, I got a new, like, I'm just listening to One over here.
Okay.
I think this song signs it's going to be off the album.
And I know Susan will be mad at me for dissing Luke Bryan.
But I think he just, not country.
Shut up.
What is this?
I think this is a one where he's, like, new Chevrolet.
He, like, puts all the same words in.
Here, listen.
I should be sad, but I'm not.
It's half-ass cold beer a clock.
Might take a sip, take a shot.
Hell, why not?
I might be riding high in a new chabberle.
I mean, these are just, they're, they're, I'm probably going to offend a lot of people.
I'll take a beer and I'll do a shot.
Yeah, they're lyrics, and I'm not saying any bands I like at the most profound lyrics.
No, but we make fun of those too.
But these lyrics are like for two brain cells fighting over a phone show.
charger. It's just there
every single song is
half past beer o'clock.
Gonna do a shot. Every song is about we're drinking
and going to the bar. So he's got a song
on this album that's going
that's going all over TikTok right now. Okay.
Because it's almost unbelievable. That wasn't
that wasn't it. Oh, all right. Well, you're going to make fun
of more of my songs. That wasn't it. So not why
I came on this show, but okay.
Down goes the whiskey. I get what you're doing.
Down goes the whiskey is
also on this album.
and they released a clip, I guess, last week.
So it's getting, like, Luke Bryan's page released this.
So, because initially I saw this video, I go, oh, this is AI.
This isn't real.
Like, even Luke Bryan doesn't make songs this bad.
And then I went and found the original post.
It was Luke Brian's official page that posted this, okay?
Yeah, it's just, he no good.
It looks like butt head.
He looks like butt head.
He can never unsee that.
And he's not, like, you know how, like,
levels of, like difficulty levels in video games.
Like you play like beginner, intermediate pro.
His lyrics never go past beginner.
It's all going to the bar, going to drink a beer, going to do a shot,
going to drop my Chevrolet.
Going to be with my dog.
Like not even trying to get into any depths.
No, I joke around, but I have no musical talent,
but I am pretty positive.
I can at least write.
A country song.
You could.
And that part I'm not joking about.
A whole album, eh, that's a little tough.
A song.
You could write, down goes the whiskey.
You want to hear Down Goes the Whiskey?
More than anything you ever written.
Down Goes the Whiskey coming up on Luke Bryan's brand new country album.
Might be the worst country song ever written.
Are you ready?
Okay.
Okay.
So everything, by the way, just so you know, everything in this clip.
Yeah.
It's kind of, and I'm sure there's like...
Is there video that goes with this?
It's just him leaning against the wall.
Damn it.
Damn it, I was going to say, because I need the scene set.
I was going to say, is he leaning up against his truck looking away longingly?
Or is he in a room all by himself looking away longingly?
Right.
Octane says, I understand what you're saying, but he sold out a lot of serious concerts.
And I'm not surprised by that.
Oh, yeah.
I'm not surprised by that.
So everything, whatever...
A lot of them had.
you smarter than me, I'm sure there's like an English phrase for this, everything is,
slam goes the door.
Oh, I see what you're saying.
Like, swim goes the fish.
Whatever it is like.
Drink goes to the beer.
That's what it is.
Whatever, whatever that piece of English is, he's doing that in the song.
Everything is the thing before the thing, right?
Oh, I'm not like this song now.
Down goes the whiskey.
Slam goes the door.
Flying goes the dust.
The plane goes the dust.
Break goes the heart.
To the bar goes the truck.
Buzz goes the neon.
Buzz goes the neon.
The box goes to Whitley.
Down goes to the whiskey.
Yeah, the predicate is before the subject.
Oh my God.
So everything, the predicate is what the thing is doing, what the noun is doing, and then the subject.
So slam goes the door.
You may argue that Luke Brian.
is a lyrical genius by doing this.
You're damn right.
I appreciate you finally admitting it.
I knew you had a point to all this.
Once again, down goes the whiskey.
I won't talk over it anymore, okay?
Damn goes the dog.
Hell yeah.
Damn right.
Cause and chat.
Down goes the volume.
Heartbroken.
He's heartbroken.
Hey, man.
I want to challenge Luke Brian.
I want you,
what are you having a song.
It's getting drunk.
Yeah.
I want to challenge Luke Brian.
What, buddy?
To not use the word.
truck beer or whiskey in a song.
Just try it. Hey, that's life.
Just try it. Hey, brother, that's right about something else, Luke.
I challenge you not to write about your kids, or your clif, or your dog.
You're all saying beerfish hunt is worse than this. I want to hear of beerfish hunt.
They're all really bad.
The problem is that they're, they try to be relatable, but they're not relatable.
Not only is relatable. Nobody does any of this, that stuff that these country people
Just to clarify.
I, uh, you're saying beer fish hunt.
I don't have that.
I have fish hunt golf drink.
That's on my new album as well.
September 18th.
I have drinking beer and wasting bullets.
I have just drink a beer.
I have drunk on you.
If it's the right situation, you wouldn't waste a bullet.
I do not have one called fish beer drunk something.
Maybe that one, the golf one.
Do the golf one.
All right, what one is that? Fishbunt?
The one is just words.
They're all just words.
I don't much appreciate you guys making one, but.
Is it playing?
Are you doing anything here?
I hear it.
You don't hear that?
I'm just kidding.
Oh, you freaked me out there.
I'm sorry.
I could have my song.
Oh, hey.
Oh.
I do love a lap pedal steel.
I'm mad at that.
If it wasn't for the taxman,
wasn't for the bills.
I like it.
If it wasn't for the traffic in my windshield.
Okay.
Here comes.
What's he going to do instead?
Here's what he wants to do instead.
Here comes.
If I get having my own way, you know,
let me tell you how every day would go.
Wait, did he like, he did a lie there.
But did he casually throw in, I don't know, country words that he's looking,
find me an 18 year old.
Like right at the start, he's like, I'm an 18.
He might just say ATV.
Oh, wait.
Okay, 18 rack.
18 rack? Yeah, I guess so.
18.
Oh, okay.
Now, Luke, I ain't wanted to cast shadows because Lord knows I have my demons, but you may have a drinking problem.
Yeah, all right.
I want to feel me a good and when I set the hook.
Oh.
Here we go.
Okay.
I don't know what the 18's about.
Clean that out.
Luke?
He sets up the wrist.
I think by law, he has to point out that she's...
No, she's 18, officer.
She's 18.
That's enough, Lou Bryan, for one more.
Let's go.
18 holes.
18 holes.
Oh, he is climbing a tree.
Gotcha.
All right.
You've been sleeping well?
You've been sleeping cozy.
Nice, nice chilly night.
You're all tucked in your bed.
You're getting that good sleep.
Yeah.
Let me ruin that for you.
Oh.
As in Richmond, Virginia, a man woke up.
Well, no, a woman.
Dr. Krista.
Edelman, who was a gastroenterologist,
which means she's got to look inside buttholes all day.
That's a tough enough life.
It always bottles, man.
She was startled awake when she felt something on her face.
She grabbed at it and felt bat wings.
Yeah.
As while she was sleeping, a bat was trying to climb into her mouth.
Oh, yeah, I want to take a little nap.
You've been sleeping good?
You've been sleeping good.
You don't think about that.
I guess so.
Because they detect the heat.
she had not been bitten.
Oh, good.
She still brought it to be tested.
That's good, though.
I don't know what the results are yet.
With rabies being essentially fatal, they need to be treated.
So I guess she would need to be treated.
And then the bet did test negative for rabies.
Oh, okay.
So that's good.
But I think you still got to get your shots.
I think any animal that starts getting bitey on you,
you should probably get the rabies shots.
I bet.
Maybe not rabies, but something.
Yeah.
I'm sure there's something for animal.
ain't, you know, trying to climb into your mouth.
Like, is that a, is that a real stat that we eat a certain amount of spiders every year?
No, I don't think so.
That's insane.
I don't, I mean, I'm sure there are situations where, yes, but, like, I don't have 50 spiders crawling around in my room.
Yeah, like, that's what I always tell myself.
Because, I don't know what the number is, whatever, like, the human, average humans, while they're sleeping, he eats 10 spiders a year.
And I go, I don't think I've seen 10 spiders in my house.
So, they're all waiting until night.
time to scurry into my mouth.
And then they just
right in my mouth.
Like that's what you're waiting for
the whole time all day.
I just swallow them in my sleep.
And I don't see you.
And you're just all day long
and you wait until them asleep
and then you just right in my belly.
My wife has a story when she was a kid.
She was sleeping in her bed.
And like her room had like these outlets
on the wall or something was on the wall
like a ledge.
Okay.
And she woke up and she opened her eyes
and there was a mouse sitting on.
on the ledge staring at her.
It's still haunts her to this day.
40 years later,
whatever it was.
But she was like,
I woke up and there was just a mouse
on the ledge staring at me.
Just being like, because he got caught.
He's like,
nothing.
I'm not doing nothing.
Hi.
It's like those pictures of the videos
of the raccoons.
You see that when they get caught
with the light,
they just stand up on their hind legs.
Yeah.
Nothing?
No, I'm not doing anything.
I don't ask.
Yes.
No question.
See, look at all you're saying,
thank God I have my CPAP mask.
That's actually,
you're saving yourself from bats.
Mice, bugs.
Kelly and Chad says the other day I was taking a nap on the couch,
felt a weird vibration in the bangs of my hair,
swiped my face with the blanket, and it was a bee.
B is just, he's just looking to pollinate.
He's just looking for a sweet little spot to be.
Hair bangs.
It's like, I'm going to get in there, get cozy.
You got right there.
Let me just get a little bit of that.
Think God didn't sting you.
Anyways, do you guys waking up with weird things next to your face?
You're welcome.
You're welcome.
Yeah, your wife does every day.
Ah, you.
Electricity is more than a source of energy.
At its best, electricity is a rush, a thrill, a feeling.
From hybrids to plug-in hybrids to the all-electric Lexus RZ,
this is our take on electric, one that puts what you need,
what makes you feel confident, inspired, excited, above all else.
After all, if it doesn't spark something in you, is it really electric?
See Burdick Lexus and Cicero.
And the best you possibly can, I want you to recount, starting Friday after the show,
how many different sporting or sport-adjacent things you watch this weekend?
Let's start with Friday.
Oh, yeah, I mean, let's see.
Friday that was just, there wasn't much.
Okay.
It was, the Little League World Tuesday wasn't on Friday.
So I didn't have to worry about that.
So there was just some baseball games.
Sure.
There was a random, I don't even remember who it was on Friday night football games.
Okay.
So maybe it was Saturday was a bit, because I know your Florida State Seminole's like Saturday.
Now Saturday was a different story because Saturday there was.
I know you had multiple televisions up and running.
Well, Premier League is going again and that starts as soon as you wake up.
There's games on random channels.
You can find stuff.
I can't even remember the teams, but there was that.
And then almost immediately you got no time.
noon o'clock.
Okay.
TCU, North Carolina, right out the game.
And that's a real game, not a pre-cee.
Okay.
Dublin, brother.
Okay, right out the gate.
Yep, and then not too long after that.
You don't got long because the international championship for the Little League World Series.
Okay, you watch that.
That's going on.
Then a couple hours after, a couple other college football games start going.
There's like a random USC game.
There's enough where I can now multi-view the main TV.
Sure, now we can multi-view the main TV.
Good, good.
The up in the corner TV just has one game, whatever, just casual as I'm walking by.
I'd be like, oh, good.
For those you're not familiar with Cody's apartment, it's very much like a sports bar.
He has a television in the corner, he has television on the porch, he multi-views his main television.
Yeah, the TV you see on Cocoa Puffs.
It's like a Buffalo Wild Wings.
It's a real TV.
You can watch whatever you want on it.
So I slapped that on there.
And then the outside TV, that's the one that had the Little League.
World Series on it.
And then your Seminoles played at seven.
And then they were on at seven.
Did they win?
I don't get in check.
Yes.
But it was a little bit closer at times than it should have been.
I'm a little famous for this team's defense.
But that one I had on the outside TV and the main TV for a little while just because I wanted
the whole.
You wanted to go back and forth.
I wanted to be able to go back and forth.
Plus, we were texting on Saturday.
There was a little skunk action out in your neck of the wood.
You're afraid someone's going to get sprayed.
I got a skunk near me too.
He's out there somewhere.
and it doesn't help though dirty people are with the dumpsters that are a little ways away from me.
But at that, to wrap up before the Samuels game was the second game of the Little League World Series.
All right.
Can't forget about that.
Can't forget that. As, you know, Nevada and Ohio.
And then Sunday comes around.
And then Sunday is the championship.
So yesterday was the championship.
Who was the champion?
Who was the Little League World Series champion?
Curisaw ended up taking down.
They were.
Congratulations.
Curisal.
They were awesome.
But that was at three.
Mm-hmm.
So, and then there's random baseball.
And I think they're, oh, Saturday, let's not forget.
And Friday, there's NFL preseason.
Can't forget.
Okay, but can't forget.
Yeah, you had a preseason NFL game, sure.
And Saturday mixed in as well.
Okay.
So.
And then Sunday, you also had an AEW pay-per-view over London.
Yep, after I got done doing all of my whatnot, I was like, all right, it's still,
because luckily it was at one.
So much activity on those screens.
Dinner time.
I was like, why not?
And fire it up.
And I wasn't too bad.
I got up Saturday morning to go do a charity golf tournament.
And I didn't know what I was stepping into.
And it was some ridiculous fun.
Here's what it was.
Oh, yeah.
I was like, wait, what are you talking?
Okay.
Yeah.
It was taking steps.
They do, they're a great, you know,
fundraiser for cancer charities and all that stuff up in a Swiga County.
Yeah.
They were at Emerald Crest Golf Course.
I spent a lot of time of that golf course.
And they said, my job was just to come, kick the thing off.
I introduced the National Anthem.
And then my job was the heckle hole.
Have you ever heard of a heckle hole?
And I got nervous.
Those are some of my favorite videos.
Dude, I got nervous because I'm like, I don't know these people.
I don't know what I'm going to, I don't know what to say to them.
Anything you can think of.
So I got to say.
Never send a man to do a woman's job.
Because I get out to the heckle hole and I have co-hacklers with me.
Okay.
There's three women at the heckle hole with me.
Oh, I bet they were good.
Dude.
I bet they were ruthless.
I won't say their names because I don't know if they want me to say their names.
I can tell you where they work.
Just so you know who we're dealing with.
Okay.
These three women are managers and bartenders at Brickyard Billiards.
Okay. All right. I know where that is.
So they spend their evenings tending bar at a pool hall.
Okay? So these gals see some stuff and put up with some stuff and somehow knew a lot of these guys.
So I'm sitting there. These gals were the hardest burning most savage hecklers I've ever seen to the point where I didn't have to do much of anything.
Yeah.
We wheel out this Bluetooth speaker because it had a microphone.
Okay.
And I was like, all right, this will be fun to have it, the heckle hole because then I can talk into it.
I handed the mic to these ladies.
Yeah.
Because whatever I was going to say was nothing compared to them cutting down these fellas genitals.
Their sex lives.
Their wives hate them.
Just burning these golfers.
Then one of the girls figured out her phone could.
link to the Bluetooth speaker.
Okay.
So she's playing chicken sounds.
She's playing cow sounds.
Straight up pornography sounds through this speaker.
Oh, I got that's great.
These guys were so rattled and I got to get over there.
Because after spending, like, I spent like four hours with these ladies at the hackle hole.
I'm like, I got to come to Brickyard Billiards more.
Because if this is what y'all are doing.
Right.
If you're just burning the patrons.
I've been there a couple times.
I've been in a long time.
I said they got great chicken wings.
they did a
They did a
They did a Seltzidi deal once
Yes they did
Yep
Yes they did
No those videos are great
Oh my God dude
Nothing I could say
Was as funny as them
Or as witty or as cutting
As anything they said
That's perfect
So I just sat there and heckled
To the least of my ability
While the gals ran the show
You didn't have to yeah
Because you
They crushed it
You'd get lumped in
When it's discussed
By whoever's in charge
Oh the heckle
Josh and blah blah
Oh my god
No no no
No
No, I mean, no, what I'm saying is I don't want any credit for the half-lo.
I don't want anybody going to work today saying, man, Josh from K. Rock killed me.
He did not.
The ladies from Brickyard Billiards killed you.
Josh was an observer who was laughing for four and a half hours.
Exactly.
With the most savage women I've ever seen.
That's awesome.
Cut me all down.
It was great.
It was great.
So fun times on Saturday, man.
So fun.
I'm sure there were a couple that were close to homes, golfers, a couple little tears.
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
Mm-hmm.
My God hates me.
Mm-hmm.
Week and funny.
You got me.
They're, uh...
Oh, so I got both of these wrong?
Well, all right, tax sign.
You don't got to yell at me.
Jesus.
Uh-oh.
You're in trouble.
Josh, it's the F-in-S small steps tournament, and it's brick house billiards.
You're just an idiot.
All right, well, I'm sorry.
You're an idiot.
That's probably one of the ladies.
I thought their shirt said brick yard.
I don't know.
I was trying to give them a shout out.
And you're not, you're yelling at me on the text line.
You're just the biggest.
Idiot that's ever been.
So very stupid.
I apologize.
But they were savage.
So shout out Brickhouse, Bill, you're over there in North Syracuse.
Y'all were, you're nuts.
You're all right.
Well, good.
Well, I did a good time.
Final day of August.
August 31st, 2000, 26.
I don't know if we, what were you going to say?
August did go fast.
I don't know if we mentioned it.
But a year ago today, I don't know if you guys, I don't, we talked about it.
I'm not sure we ever mentioned.
I don't think we ever mentioned this.
I think we were waiting for the year anniversary.
But one year ago today,
we were at MetLife Stadium, seeing Oasis,
and I don't know.
I should have worn my Oasis.
I don't know.
That was pretty damn cool.
That was pretty damn cool.
It was the best experience ever.
One year anniversary of our Oasis experience today.
It was just so good.
It was the best show I've ever seen.
Nothing will ever top it.
And I don't ever expect anything to top it.
So I would say, if you follow me on Instagram, K Rock Josh, just mute me for today because I'm probably going to share all the same videos I saw a year ago.
You better.
No, it was just, it was perfect.
Perfect.
KG elephant was unreal.
And then it was just the perfect lead into Oasis.
The night was gorgeous.
It was a beautiful scene.
It was just awesome.
Everything about it was perfect.
Perfect.
It was so perfect.
So we're celebrating our one-year oasis anniversary together.
We got your weak-ankled ass up into the.
stadium. Listen, I'm a fragile boy. I'm very fragile. You got me in there somehow.
And now we're good. And now we're good.
Yeah, how is your ankle one year later? It's stronger than ever like a metal, right?
It's good, but I worry about it. Like I hear it making popping sounds sometimes and I'm like, oh boy.
Like when I'm like, that was my ankle. You're like, I heard that.
Yeah, you hear those sounds now. You're old.
Yep. We're old man. Like my, my different joints are always popping and making sounds.
I mean, I'm over here. I have, I don't.
I'm icing my finger
Why are you icing your finger?
I don't know, but it...
What did you do to your finger?
But I see a little fat at the end.
I don't know.
I just, I can't bend it.
I don't know.
Oh, maybe.
I didn't even notice you had ice on your finger.
I just want to grab it right now.
I don't know.
No, I didn't think so,
because it would have been in the middle of the night
when I was supposed to be eating spiders.
Because it didn't hurt yesterday or like...
What?
Last night.
You were eating spiders?
What are you laughing at?
Two people on one of those little scooters.
They went that way now.
Oh, they're scooting by.
All right.
That's not what I expected to see.
All right.
But yeah, right.
This is my belance.
This is my...
Your nose-picking finger?
Oh, I can't get in there.
Oh, I can't.
Oh, I can't.
Oh, yeah, right?
I don't know what the hell I did, but you're right, because I slept.
I slapped.
It's dangerous to be sleeping in your 40s.
It really is.
Yeah, be careful when you're sleeping.
There's no way this is a trend.
And if it is, I'm grossed out and y'all, y'all need the Lord.
As a new dating trend is something called pheromone maxing.
What do you think
Pharamone maxing is, Cody?
Is it my stuff that's supposed to like...
No?
No? Do that? Where it attracts?
This is the most neckbeard thing I've ever heard.
Oh, no.
Oh, boy.
It's not showering or wearing deodorant before a date
so that your date can get your ultimate pheromones.
Oh, like ladies don't have enough problems.
Guys, fellas.
Their dudes are going to start showing up all stank.
Like even as someone that doesn't get the B.O. of smells, if I were to have a date, I'm showering and brushing my teeth before.
Fellas, I don't know what's happened.
Maybe it's the internet.
Maybe it's all these influencers.
Maybe it's the clavicular's and the Andrew Gates.
It's just, they're trying to convince guys that there's a way to hack the system.
No.
To get women to be into you.
And it's never like what I want where it's just like hot sweaty chick a little bit.
No.
No.
It's not even that.
No, but stupid idiot dudes.
Here's the hack, fellas, I'm going to tell you.
Be a decent person.
The end.
Be a decent person.
Be interested in this person you're on a date with.
Yeah.
Put some effort into it.
Yeah.
Trying to, like.
Being stanky.
Being stinky or doing whatever the face maxing is,
whatever these maxing things are.
Or having, or your hair looks like that weird,
like when you just get out of bed, greasy,
look, you know I'm talking about for some dudes that are like, no, this is fine.
I'm going to go out in public with this.
Don't do that.
The newest trend is apparently where men are not showering or using deodorant before
dates intentionally.
They're calling it pheromone maxing.
The idea is to amplify your natural musk and you will become biologically irresistible.
This is for guys that call women females on the internet.
Well, the female will find you more attractive if you pheromone max.
No.
Dude, you're doing everything but being a good person.
Just go on a date, have a conversation.
Maybe split the bill, maybe cover the bill, whatever you guys work out.
Get a vibe for each other.
Not shower.
Not be unwashed.
Your pits are all stanky and your hair is all gross and your face is all unwashed.
You're doing $15,000 alpha male classes.
Have you seen those?
No.
Or these guys go to these weekend retreats to become alpha males
where they're just all shirtless rubbing up on each other.
It's like a little Boy Scout.
Yeah.
A little meetup for boys.
And they're getting yelled at by another guy who's like the instructor
because nothing screams alpha like paying $15,000 to be screamed at by another guy.
Right.
Or to just all day rub around with shirtless dudes.
Right.
It's okay.
Right.
Like chicks, dude.
It's just like, guys, you're doing everything but the actual work.
Right.
Of just being a decent person who respects the person you're on a date with.
No.
The idea is to increase your human pheromones.
Oh, yeah.
They say real women are not really appealed to this.
The truth is that what you think is your natural pheromones, quote, unquote,
it's probably just stinky B.O.
Yeah.
Because you probably don't smell yourself that much.
Or what they do, in this case it sounds like, they do and don't care because it's how you get the most of my pheromones.
Right.
Right.
So yeah, I went to the gym this morning.
No, I didn't shower.
That way you get the most of my pheromones.
Oh, thank you.
Reader in chat says, as someone who has been with his wife for 25 years, I can without a doubt say that
pheromone maxing has never been a strategy to keep her attracted and interested to me.
Yeah. I'll take it from Reader. He's got a pretty successful marriage over there.
Right.
Melfire, I'm so happy I'm off the market. These fellows are just nasty.
All right. I'm not unshowered. I'm pheromomaxing females.
Dude, you're just, you're just ugly. That's your problem.
That's where she's ugly. That's the problem is this, this chick is just ugly.
I've never seen a generation of, I don't stink. I don't stink.
I've never seen a generation of men focus so much on all of the wrong things.
You know?
Yeah.
It's crazy.
The things that keep...
Are you going to just be tricked into thinking, no, no.
The ultimate hack into achieving a female is to pheromone max.
And usually I say with all of these things, they're doing it
because it had to have worked once.
No, it doesn't.
I don't even know.
Yeah.
It's because some guy on TikTok who also can't hold down a relationship
is giving other guys who can't hold down relationships advice on how to hold down.
relationships.
They all have the faces of a mushy pud.
Yeah.
None of them are hell.
The Rumble at the Red House coming up on Wednesday this week.
Yeah.
September 2nd, doors at 6, 7 o'clock Tommy Dreamer will be there, along with Flex wrestling,
of course, Spatchcock Funk, and maybe some things you want to see go down.
It's a TV taping.
It's the show that runs all across the country if you want to be a part of it.
Be in the audience.
Come on down.
Get the information.
Come on, clear.
Flex wrestling or head to Spachcock Funk's website.
It's this Wednesday.
It's in two days.
They're coming up to flex on the 12th, though, out back in Ithaca, because they do shows.
They do?
All the time.
So they got a, oh, they got it, it'll be, they'll have Eddie Edwards.
At this one on Tuesday?
No, no, no.
Down there?
Yep.
What about Tuesday?
I can't, I can't.
It's all right.
It's all right.
It's all right.
I'm on their, their Facebook page.
So I don't know what I'm missing.
It's all right.
Goodwill.
We know Goodwill.
I love Goodwill.
Are opening something that, I don't know if we ever see it around here.
Now, I'm not, this isn't a slight on Goodwill.
I will just say their prices are a little pricier than most.
Yeah, don't, isn't there some other, couple other things?
I think the Goodwill, it's not non-profit, correct?
Yeah, maybe it is, I don't want to get in trouble with Goodwill.
I'll just say it's a little more expensive than the other places I usually go.
I've seen what Goodwill can do, and I don't want to get on their bad side.
Goodwill branded record store is opening in North Carolina.
and it just kind of sounds like they're opening a used record store,
which is kind of cool.
Yeah, but how much,
so it just sounds like they're going to be making a butt ton of money off of people that.
It's not like they're opening a Soundgarden, essentially, or a used record store.
But off of things people gave them for free.
Correct.
That's where I waver with goodwill is because where does the good,
where does the money go to for goodwill?
Yeah.
Doesn't a lot of it go to like CEO?
and all that crap.
I've read, I could be wrong.
I'm not trying to get in trouble.
I just want to know what good are they,
what are they doing for Goodwill?
Because they have a Goodwill-branded record and media store
called Rewind, opening in North Carolina this week,
just outside of Charlotte.
You can buy vinyl CDs, cassettes,
Blu-rays, DVDs, VHS,
and even possibly used at video games.
So they were getting a influx of all of these things.
And they're like, hey, how do we, fine, this is a good angle to work.
Go for it.
I hope they're like a buck.
Again, these were free for you, Goodwill.
They were free.
Jojo says, Goodwill Money goes directly towards funding local job training, career
coaching, and employment placement programs for people who have trouble finding work.
So there is some good.
Mm-hmm.
There's some good.
So.
That sounds like they're basically opening a record store.
The CDs will, uh, so wait, is it going to be like,
Do I go to the A's? Do I go to the B's? Is it going to be a report?
Yeah, I don't know. That's weird.
Huh.
Unclear whether the employees will care enough to really clean the media?
I don't know. I don't know.
I like getting gritty and going into the thrift store.
Yeah. Thumbing through all the records and thumbing through all the tapes.
But this is fine.
I mean, if they've got just so many that they're like, all right, we can open a store.
We've gotten so much.
And that's, you know, it's probably just going to continue with, you know, CDs and stuff and trends.
Keep going towards, you know, oh, look how popular vinyl is.
Let's get a bunch of vinyl.
Thank you, Penny Lenny for the sob.
According to Jojo, Goodwill reports, roughly 85 to 90 cents of every dollar spent,
goes directly to community programs.
So maybe they're doing some good.
I just don't know about it.
But yeah, so if it does, then maybe we'll be getting Goodwill record stores around town.
You'll go buy some Lincoln Park CDs.
It's K.
Head to the show.com for all the links, all the live streams, and get the show on demand.
Kaboom.
Now, you've all sent this to me, and I didn't believe it.
And I still don't know if I believe it.
But, all right.
Okay.
The problem right now with Facebook especially is that there's all these fake news sites.
Everything is fakeness.
It's all fake.
Unless I eat.
But there's, like, real fake news sites.
There's like a bunch of, like, fake news sites.
Syracuse orange news articles that go out all the time.
It's crazy.
Yes.
Yep.
So I never know what's really coming from a news site,
and I'm confused by the things that I see.
Okay.
So I get sent this link, like, by 40 of you over the weekend,
about the Syracuse creature.
Did you see this?
Yes, I got, yes, many people sent me this,
because I'm sure you know what the caption is.
You've seen Josh shit this weekend?
Right.
I have.
I'll show you the Syracuse creature,
but it kept coming.
from news sources that looked fake to me.
One I saw was like a like a W, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, from somewhere out whatever way.
So I don't know, I didn't see it in anywhere, like not what's what I'm looking for.
Like what you're saying, I saw it on that and then what you posted.
So I don't, I don't know.
Is this not real?
As a slight indictment to our local media.
this is on none of our local media sites.
And it happened here.
Okay.
So is it not real?
Because we're too busy covering the fair 24-7.
We didn't cover this.
Everybody in this town thinking that they're an influence
and having to post their review on a baked potato.
It is exhausting, guys.
Not every one of you are content creators.
It is exhausting.
The sooner you can figure that out, the better because holy cow.
How much food content do we need in this town?
There's just random people that nobody cares about.
Hi, I'm blah.
And there's a big potato.
I don't look weird at all holding this really, really tiny microphone with my two fingers.
I'm exhausted by it.
I just got to get out of the media game.
I don't like where it's going.
So Kelly, of course, Kelly says, of course Josh is calling it fake news because it's him.
That's the joke is you all sent me this.
You all sent me this.
It looks like me.
I'm not going to lie.
But if anybody has listened to the show ever.
Old of you, though.
They would know I would never get into a marsh.
It looks like old you.
So first of all, local media, get on this.
Do you trapped in another time universe in a bog?
Photos taken of a creature now dubbed the Syracuse figure
and a New York marshalant have led to controversy over the weekend.
What marshland?
Photos were shared by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization.
Of course.
Taken by a woman only identified as KD.
Katie.
Okay.
Good cover.
lady. She was the 20, she was, she's 25 years old. I only want to be known as KD. K. D. She was
enjoying her day off by going on a hike in upstate New York. She's only saying it's a rural
part of Onondaga County. What, but why? Why? Why can't you tell me where you were hiking?
Why are you being weirdly secretive? I can only tell you this. She said she arrived to the site about
1 p.m. Walk to the pond nearby and noticed someone waiting in the pond.
She initially thought it was a naked man.
Hell yeah.
So she took photos of it?
Right.
Careful.
So if you think it's a naked guy, you took photos on it, Katie?
Be careful.
She took photos.
She said it looked at her in such a strange way that I got creeped out even more.
Because you're photographing potentially someone naked in a marsh.
Yeah, you're just standing there taking pictures.
She went back to the parking lot.
On her way back, she noted a family of three had started their hike.
Supported by their presence, she decided to walk along the pass in the area,
including one sign that said no swimming or waiting.
Okay.
She said it really looked inhuman.
I'll show you the photo.
If you want to jump in Twitch right now or the show.
This is the photo that's going around of the Syracuse creature.
And yeah, it looks like an old version of me
Naked in a marsh.
I would never get into a marsh.
Like, you know, what's it?
What's he waiting around?
I think you found a naked guy taking a bath in the marsh.
Or just like he,
he was walking and he fell or,
I don't know, but I don't,
it's, to me, it's just,
it's almost just as weird
that the person would only say that,
what?
Yeah.
That's weirder to me than the guy.
And it's on,
If you Google the Syracuse creature, you can find stories about it.
Yeah, but on all non-New York websites.
That's why I don't know if I believe it or not.
And yeah, donkey, I'm a never nude.
I would not be nude in a marsh.
It might be the Penneville Pine Monster.
She immediately left.
She took the two photos and depicted a hunched figure waiting at the pond's edge.
The view of the figure is obscured slightly.
she said, hold on a second.
That's just so weird.
During his investigation, they noted
it was,
okay, I don't know what this is about.
There's many theories on what the Syracuse figure could be.
Yeah, what did they say that it could be?
I mean, they want to go with Bigfoot,
but it's definitely not Bigfoot.
It's not a big foot.
There's a reason somebody was out there
doing whatever it was.
that they were doing.
And they said,
someone fell,
they had to take a poop
and fell as they were
Creekside.
If it were a human,
he is extremely short.
They said likely
four feet nine inches tall.
So maybe a little naked troll?
It's more,
I would buy more into the fact
that we've got a little naked troll
out there in the woods.
You got to get out there
and find this little naked troll man.
I said,
I don't think we need to be doing.
Then it's just,
then it's a big foot.
And if it's a rural part of
Onondaga County, could it be an unhouse person?
They found their way out there.
They got a little camp set up.
Right.
Yeah, I don't know.
I just personally can't get past.
What, the photo?
The fact that they won't tally where it is.
Because you could very easily...
We can go there and investigate.
Yeah, you can very easily solve this entire situation so fast.
I could do it later today.
Just go out of them woods.
If there's an encampment...
You see people living out there?
Then all right, maybe.
I was walking around, blah, blah, blah.
And then that's it.
That's all you got to say.
And then we can go out there and take a look-see.
But until then, I think KD is full of baloney.
KD is full of BS, if you will.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
It's not a big foot.
It's most likely a little tiny human.
I would rather go with some kind of Onondaga County troll.
They do like a little troll.
It is not the Pennville Pine Monster.
It has nothing to do with the Pennsylvania.
Peneville Pine Monster.
It might, though.
You don't know.
They just, they won't tell us where in Onondaga County.
Reports of the Pennaville Pine Monster.
Maybe it was way up there and crossed over border.
Reports of the Pennaville Pine Monster described him as tall amongst the trees.
If this is only 4 foot 9, this is an Onondaga troll creature.
Maybe he was just bent over.
Perhaps.
I've seen the Pentagon Pine Monster.
I know what's out there.
And you were looking at full butt.
He was bent over with his butt face in the camera.
Maybe.
The Pennville Pine Monster protects the trees.
It's tall, it's lengthy.
It smells of pine and resin.
This looks more troll-like.
Smells of poop.
But if the Syracuse Creature is something we're going to start,
I'll be giving Syracuse Creature tours as well.
I know.
We can go on the hunt for the Pine Monster and the Syracuse creature.
We'll go find them.
If you want to see photos, just Google Syracuse creature.
It's everywhere except our local news sites.
Yep.
We're doing the local coverage for you.
We'll be up there now that we said it.
Yep.
We've got live wrestling at the Red House coming up Wednesday.
September 2nd, doors at 6.
Matches start at 7 o'clock.
It's the Rumble at the Red House with our friends at Spatchcock Funk.
Rumble.
I've been seeing them feud with the dirty dogs a little bit on social media.
I want nothing to do with that.
Not a good idea.
I don't want the dirty dogs around the studio.
I don't want them anywhere near this building.
Well, here's the thing that I don't think Spatchcock is understanding.
Is that what do we have a lot of right now in town?
Carnival folk.
Oh, yeah.
That's their people.
I was going to say, who would the dirty dogs have backing them?
Carnival folks.
Well, I'm pissed off, and I got to talk to Spatchcockfunk about this because I don't know what day the dogs were filming their videos over here.
But my catalytic converter is gone.
So whatever day that was, I'm guessing the dogs were climbing around under cars.
It smells like pee everywhere.
So Alex and Matt owe me a catalytic converter because I,
did not invite them to the, I don't want them to go around here.
Yeah, I did not know.
I was gone before.
Man, I got to get one of those cages you put around it.
The dogs are back in town.
And the other thing with those, with the Spatchcock guys,
quit trying to blame us for any of this.
Oh, like they dragging us into this?
You know, we'll get tagging things and such like that.
I don't, I don't, I want nothing to do with the dogs.
They're not affiliated.
I want nothing to do with the dogs.
As HR.
Mm-hmm.
and possibly...
We can't have them near the studio.
Possibly head of this company right now.
You might be?
That's not something I want to get all tangled up.
That's something for you guys.
You guys on Wednesday.
I know, yeah, their manager is disgusting.
They have this manager you'll see.
He might have cowboy boots.
It's disgusting.
Which makes him even worse.
It's absolutely filthy.
There's not a horse in sight.
Hey, Mom, can you drop the link in there?
Don't they live stream this or you can get tickets?
It's the Flex Wrestling link.
to get tickets and, of course, Spatchcock Funk for more information.
It's a quick little Wednesday night wrestling show,
but what the cool thing about it is is it's a TV taping.
So if you're in the audience, this is going to be broadcast all over the country eventually
because Spatchcock is on PBS stations all over the country.
Which is neat.
So it would be fun to watch that.
Come on out, Flex Wrestling.
That live.
Thank you, Hambone.
Speaking of wrestling, how was that pay-per-view you got Saturday?
Or Sunday?
What was a Sunday?
It was Sunday.
It started way, way earlier.
And I had a bunch of stuff.
to do, but it was luckily that it did start
so early. I was able to watch
it at my leisure when I did
get back. AWW? Yeah.
How was it? And I think handbone, maybe I didn't get
to ask him yet, because I got over a little later
for me. That was
incredible. Really?
It was incredible. What made it so good?
And just AW is real good at wrestling
if that makes sense.
Like at pro wrestling.
Okay. They know how to do a lot of stuff
that I don't know, like you would be judgmental of a WWE
where you'd watch a bunch of WAAW and kind of be like,
oh, I wish they would do more of this.
Yeah.
AWW's kind of doing it.
Yeah, Hamlin says they give you your money's worth of the pay-per-views.
Yes, they did.
It was 40 bucks.
And I don't even know who's like, you told me to watch it.
I don't even know who's on AW right now.
I think you would like the wrestling part of it.
Because now you can go back and watch it.
I assume I was able to start and go.
For months, it said on the, on the receipts.
seat or whatever. Good. But yeah, it was just
there was just
bangor after banger, like of actual
good. Who are some of the names I'd know
that are in AEW right now? It's not their names,
but Adjun Christian.
Oh, what are they in A.W?
Uh, Cope, like Adam Copeland.
Okay, sure, yeah. Christian Cage.
Okay.
Christian, but so you know them, you know the Young Bucks.
Right. You know.
Would you say kicked it off yesterday?
Oh, they had that.
Well, it was weird because I didn't,
watching the, just the
paper view.
And not the buy-in, which was like the free show.
Okay.
They had a battle royal, if you will.
Okay.
And in that battle royal that ended with the start of the pay-per-view.
And that makes sense.
The New Day came in?
That's when...
Are they called the New Day?
No, that's the text I set you.
The name is awesome.
It's the new level.
Okay.
Which works out perfect with where they are, how much they like gaming.
It was just...
That's cool.
Enturance was cool.
They used that.
Sting is involved too?
He came back for...
But is he sting or what is he?
Oh yeah, no.
He still does sting stuff.
Okay.
He looked like he did a passing of the torch because his son is signed.
Oh, okay.
Him and his son both climbed a ladder to do the usual sting jump.
And his son was like, no dad.
I'll do this.
Wow.
And his dad was like...
That's some good storytelling.
You can do this son.
And so he passed a little bit of a torch, it seemed like.
Jericho's still doing stuff, right?
with AW? Was he in the pay-per-view?
Was he in that, the
I forget
something of the name, the casino
trying to make it so you guys can understand it.
It's just like another battle royal
if you will. But without having to throw people
over the top rope, he was
in that. Also, I wanted to find it,
but for some reason it is not
just Joe's number, the number I text.
It was pretty cool to have Tomasa
Champa come out. Hold on. He sent me that.
Hold on a second. And have a bunch of people singing
his song at Wembley Stadium.
He, that was pretty neat.
Yeah, he sent me this link.
He goes, he said, dude, listen to all these people singing my intro.
Yeah.
Although I have it.
It was cool.
Yeah.
Look at that.
That's pretty awesome.
It was just.
How's he doing this since he's come back?
Awesome.
Awesome.
And that's the other thing with AW.
They kind of, where WWE drops the ball.
Yeah.
They pick it up very evil.
That's good.
They pick it up and run with it.
And then the main event was...
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah, that's cool, man.
Good for just Joe.
Getting that pop last night.
I didn't watch that clip yet.
And then Osprey and...
Moxley's there?
Yep, Mark.
Do you like John Moxley?
Yep, that was...
Although I, this one was my fault,
I had a heavy fast forward finger.
Oh.
And I accidentally fast forward.
You spoil it for yourself?
Yeah.
Yep, that one was my fault.
But that was the only match that I...
Yeah, Dave is right.
Paperview should all start at one o'clock.
Starting at one.
Right?
I was a lot better to be able to, well, it looked like probably like five or so because I was able, like I said, able to start.
Okay, cool.
And go, you know, much later at my own leisure.
So that was, that was nice.
But again, it's nice that you were able to do that at a one o'clock start that or Saturday night.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Don't do Sunday night at 8 o'clock or Sunday at 7.
I guess I didn't know how big.
AW is in London.
They can sell out Wembley.
Yeah.
It was nuts.
Maybe not sell it out, but it's packed.
It was worth if you just are, well, let me put that on just to watch.
Just because just because the wrestling itself was worth watching, you know, to see it.
Very cool, man.
What's the next pay-per-view coming up?
Not for, like, in any of them.
Hollywood, they do Halloween havoc still?
No.
I'm sure there's something in September.
Well, there's Sunday night's main event.
Premium live events.
They're doing that.
I know there's money in the bank for WWE, but they all have them forever because there was also an NXT thing yesterday and a AAA.
Oh, okay.
Wrestling thing yesterday.
There was a lot of wrestling, but.
Yesterday.
Out of wrestling.
Today over at the Great New York State Fair, honey, why you call?
Little girl, boom.
Hinder.
Six o'clock override.
They're a Chevy court band, right?
And then Ashanti.
Maybe girl put it on me.
And then I'll take a song with you, mommy.
Ashanti over at 8 o'clock at the big suburban stage.
Probably got ruled.
I don't know if they're going to get...
Fly them in just for the performance for the state fair.
I'm positive.
I don't know if Ashanti's going to get third eye blind numbers, but...
You bring in me, I'll get you numbers.
Who is it?
As everybody apparently went to the fair on Saturday,
Everybody in Central New York went on Saturday.
Everybody, man.
I got pictures and updates for a couple people that were there that the before and after.
The before people were getting out of their cars just in Sauve.
Yeah.
And walking.
Yeah.
And then I had one that the other pictures were after that I saw when I woke up at, I think it came in.
I think it said 2.15.
AM?
Yes.
said just getting on the bus.
Yeah, we got to bring back them parking rides.
We got a lot of great parking rides for a long time, and now they're all gone.
Is it just because the state doesn't want to spend?
I don't know where the park and rides on a while, but it used to be great.
You could, even in Phoenix, we had a parking ride.
You could just park your car in Phoenix and ride the bus.
It was the best.
And the bus dumps you right in the front?
Because they're probably not getting enough charging, you know, on the state grounds.
Or maybe they don't have enough buses or bus drivers.
I'm sure there's a logistics reason.
I'm sure it's somebody's ball drop somewhere that this has happened.
So get out there, have your fun.
I don't foresee me going to the fair this year, but I don't...
I want to, but none of the days are looking like they're adding up for it.
You know what I mean?
Maybe Monday?
The last day of the fair?
Maybe then, because the weather, I'm not chancing that.
I'm not getting poured on spending, you know, all that money to park and all that crap,
just to get rained on, even though it seems to just rain a little bit here and there
and then kind of pieces out.
Yeah, it looks like today is going to be a little rainy throughout the day.
Tomorrow clears out.
And then a couple little bits here and there tomorrow.
Okay.
Yeah, see, it's supposed to, I don't know.
But then by the time it gets nice, it's this weekend, which means that this weekend
will be balls to the wall.
Again.
Yeah.
Which I want to happen for all of our friends that have boost there.
Yes, I want our vendors to kill it.
I want the vendors to make their money, make their, get their nut, if you will.
And it sounds, it looks like a couple that, you know, I have on like the social media is,
it looks like they are.
Good.
So hopefully the crowds are pretty good.
But yeah, by then it's like, or maybe I guess Monday.
That's it.
Stella says I went every day.
I'm on vacation from the fair until Saturday.
You went every day, Stella?
You one of them people that loves the fair?
If I could.
I've got buddies that love the fair.
I would.
I know you do love the fair.
If I got the parking and all that, I absolutely would.
But it's just, we don't get that.
Yeah, if I could, like, ideal situation would be like, I can pull in, I can park really easy, I can run and get some food.
Like the news people.
Like the news people.
Again, I hate to always do that.
Yeah, but they do got hookups.
How easy it is for them to get in and out.
People who are camping there, that's pretty clutch too.
Yeah.
Run in, run back out.
Like, I need a place to get away from everything.
Everywhere I am, I need a place to get away.
Well, fair.
Everyone is.
That's what I'm saying.
A camper would be nice.
If you just be like, all right, I'm going back to the camper to turn off my brain for a
second. Yeah.
Yeah, Stella loves it. They love it. They say they love the fair.
It is fun. There's a lot to do there. There's good food. There's a bunch of entertainment going on.
Well, let's talk colleges. As we know, the kids are back in school as well.
And colleges are struggling right now because they got too expensive.
Yeah, I bet. And they're not.
International students don't want to come here for why. I can't imagine why.
Geez, they can't figure out. So they don't want to come here.
And again, it's, the jig is up, if you will.
With college?
We were, again, we were told you are a loser if you don't go to college.
If you don't get a degree.
You are absolutely screwed.
You got to go somewhere where it's going to cost you a bunch.
You can't just go to OCC.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, we were, we were suckers.
Yep, we were in that whole world.
And then it got to a little after we were done.
It was, you're not kidding.
anywhere with a bachelor's.
Right, you've got to have a master's.
Oh my God, you've got a bachelor's.
There was some pretty heavy-duty college
propaganda in the late 90s, early 2000s.
And it all shifted once, everyone was like,
no, what are we doing here?
No, we don't. Right.
Because we saw all of our friends,
we're like, I didn't go to college
and I make $120,000 a year.
You don't have to do that.
So thankfully, I'm hopeful that we're...
And I'm not stupid at all.
I'm hopeful we're finding a good balance
of people going into the trades.
Yes.
Making a living.
on their money and the people that do go to college.
And they're not being told that you're stupid if you don't and you're stupid if you do,
yeah, and all that.
If you want to go work in the trades, go work in the trades.
If you want to go to college, go to college.
That's what you're good at.
Thank you, cousin Jay for the sub.
That's what you're good at.
But college is in an effort to kind of react to the change of lower enrollments
and maybe it's gotten due expensive.
They're looking into three-year degrees.
Okay.
Instead of four-year degrees.
Some of us got a five-year degree because I ain't leaving.
it. No big deal. So instead of a traditional 120 credit hours spread over four years, some
programs are looking at 90 credit degrees, which would make sense because it's like some of those
classes he didn't need to take. Yes. Some of those classes, I'm like shapes. I got to take shapes.
You can tailor the situation to the person that's doing it. Exactly. I didn't need to teach them
what they need to know. I didn't need math. For their profession. I didn't need to take a
weird,
um,
astrology class.
Right.
Like,
come on.
Shave it down a little bit.
If you,
if somebody wants to be a business major,
give them those courses.
Yep.
That ready them for the world of business.
How all that works.
Somebody wants to get in finance.
Give them the class.
Well,
those are your elective.
But you need also know.
You need your core.
No,
you don't.
You also need a biology class.
No,
you don't need a biology class.
Right.
No, you don't.
We did this.
in high school.
You don't need, if I'm not, I'm here for entertainment and media and stuff like that.
I don't need to take a science class.
So I think that's probably a good adjustment.
Yeah.
Is you don't, there was some, like, I don't know why four years became the standard.
It was, like.
I think that's just how long it took to complete all the BS that they would require you to do.
Clean it up.
And that's how they get all that money from, yeah?
They get you there.
Nice four years.
year program.
Listen, college ain't for everybody.
Oh.
For plenty of people, it ain't for everybody.
I loved college.
No, it was great.
It's just that, you know, I'm forever in debt so I could, you know, do this.
Oh, goodness, he is a gassy boy today.
I got 100.9-1065 K-Rock.
Good morning, Joe, Stanley.
You about out to the fair yet, Joe?
I did.
I was out there with my grandchildren.
Opening day.
It was a beautiful day.
Oh, what did you get to eat, John?
What are you eating at the fair?
I ate a Greek rap.
Oh, very nice.
Like that.
Like that.
Joe Stanley, Stanley Law offices, the maximum award people.
You got a story about Kratum.
I don't know anything about it.
I just know that people are banning it and it's dangerous.
So what do you know?
It's an opioid.
Okay.
It's a natural opioid.
And it's kind of a crazy situation.
The government, there's been horrible problems with it because you can buy it everywhere.
I know.
I see signs of it.
like windows and say crate them sold here.
And it's more addictive, 10 times
to more addictive than morphine some of the
some of the derivatives of this.
But anyways, the federal government
in their wisdom, not so much
wisdom, banned
artificially made derivatives
of it. Okay. But
not the actual, if you're using just the
plant made substances,
which you can make the plants.
That's still legal.
And whether it had to do with donations
or whatever. Yeah, whatever.
Backroom deals.
happened in the government.
That doesn't make any sense because it's still the same chemicals.
So it's kind of similar to back when we had like salvia and stuff and they're like,
that's derived differently.
I don't want to call them less than reputable,
but you'd always see it at the less than reputable cornerstone.
This stuff is,
this stuff is pretty hazardous.
It's not,
I've only heard bad things about it.
It's a serious opioid.
And,
you know,
the plant,
it's one thing if you made a synthetic amount,
you have how much it is,
and how concentrated it is.
You never can tell in a plant when you make it, and it varies.
So you can get it, and it could be way too strong for somebody.
So people can still buy the plant.
It's just not processed yet or it's not synthetic like that.
All right.
Let's talk prediction markets as well.
What do you got about that?
Well, you know, there was a court.
Nevada passed regulations.
Speaking of the government, the federal government doesn't want to have anything to do with
prediction markets, but the states are trying.
Yeah.
And Nevada passed the law that's the same.
gambling and the court
in Nevada said no it's not gambling
I don't know what it is
the appellate court took this up and said
this came out the Ninth Circuit
said no wait a minute this is there
there is no difference
in fact you'd have to make up
something to try to convince us that this is
not gambling it's definitely gambling
but what it is it's gambling that you can
throw every contest so it can be like
people could go on prediction markers
and say will Joe Stanley say
the phrase ice cream sandwiches
today, they'll tell you, hey, I'm going to make $500,000 if you say ice cream sandwiches,
and you come in here and say it.
You know, I like to eat ice cream sandwiches.
It's no different than being able to, like, throw baseball games or basketball games
because you can bet on anything now.
Yeah, it's incredible.
I mean, you bet on somebody's life.
You can.
Yeah, pay somebody to get rid of them.
I mean, it's so ridiculous.
But that's essentially what the court said.
But the problem is, again, the states want to regulate it, but the federal government won't.
Where does this go?
Because the federal government, here you go.
You got me all wound up, Joe.
How many reports have we had of people saying, will we invade this country or will we strike this country?
And then like three hours before we do that thing, somebody from the government, quote unquote, goes into a polymarket, makes a bat.
And you're like, well, wait a minute.
They got inside information or this is happening.
Well, that's the other problem with that is that you could, you know, if you do it on the stock market, that's a crime.
But if you go ahead and do it.
Yeah.
It's really messed up these prediction markets.
Like a casino, I'm rolling dice.
There's no inside track for what the dice or the roulette wheel is going to land on.
Yeah.
But when you work for the government and find out we're going to make it deal with this country,
then you can make a bet on it.
It's all shady, Joe.
Yes, I agree with you.
All right.
Joe Stanley, Stanley Loves is the maximum award people.
Thank you, Joe.
Do you guys know that a year ago today we were watching Oasis?
Did we tell you that?
I mean, the stories.
Maybe I didn't tell you that.
Maybe I didn't tell you.
Because, again, you're right.
We haven't brought it up.
I don't know if we ever mentioned to them.
because when the time of, we were so busy and wrapped up.
I know, we didn't bring it up once.
And then you got to think, be in Labor Day weekend.
Yeah.
We weren't there Monday.
So they needed a recap.
So why would we talk about stuff from a Sunday on a Tuesday?
Happy one-year anniversary, Dustin Oasis.
And anybody else who is at the show, I'm sure people in here were also at that show.
Yeah, they were many.
Before we get into your 90s at 9.
I don't know if I said this on the air or just my social media,
but I have a challenge for everybody.
if you have a Hulu subscription, it's to open the movie Bus Boys
and see how long you can keep it on before you turn off or leave the room.
It might be the worst film I've ever seen made.
Just seeing the, what do you call it, the title picture.
Yeah, right, thumbnail of Theo, one of the stupidest people I've ever seen on the internet.
And then David Spade, who no offense, bro, movie star you are not.
Well, to use his own line against him, look, kids, a falling star.
Yeah, right?
Same reason Eddie Murphy wouldn't come on SNL forever.
He's a falling star.
Yeah, like, bro.
It's the worst movie I've probably seen made in decades.
But it will have competition here pretty soon as they're working on Hooters, the movie.
Oh, no.
Now, it's about the founding of Hooters.
So maybe if that's interesting.
Great.
I can't wait to see John C. Riley play a random.
old guy with a 1970s mustache.
We'll call it Hooters.
It follows two friends from Iowa named Ted and Lenny.
Ted is trying to find a woman named Diane from Spring Break.
So he convinces Lenny to take a road trip with him to Clearwater Beach, Florida.
Diane then becomes the first Hooters girl.
So they get down there and open a restaurant instead?
It's being described as a hilarious buddy comedy, inspiring biopic, biopic, biopic,
Biopic.
Biopic.
Oh, is that what it's being described as?
And it's based on a crazy idea.
It's not what all the people will be expecting, and it's mostly true.
I mean, I could see where it would be...
Might not be as bad as bus, boys.
Where it could be funny, but I don't know.
I like a good founding story.
That's exciting.
Yeah, depending on who's in it, that could be funny.
But again, if it's going to be, you know...
Dude, where's my car, meets the founder, meets...
Whatever all these other movies are.
Yeah, I don't know how many more I could see that's got, you know,
the silly, that same story.
And who's playing the first Hooters Girl?
Who's playing Diane?
That's what I mean.
Depending on who's playing all these parts, then it could be good,
but you got to cast properly.
It can't be the freaking rock and Kevin Hart playing Ted and Lenny.
Yeah, like, please.
That's a good idea.
Write that down.
Ted and Lenny.
I don't have to get down there and what's her name, Lainey.
Who?
The Hooters Girl.
Diane was the first Hooters Girl.
Oh, it's Shane Gillis.
Diane is, Shane Gillis plays a girl in this?
All right.
Yep, the Rock, Kevin Hart, come down.
Okay.
They're looking for a lady.
It's Shane Gillis.
All right, good.
All right.
Oh, look at this crazy.
What?
The crazy, uh, quick five-second cameo.
What was that?
Helmsworth?
Oh, my God.
Chris Alworth, I'm sure.
All right.
Did I just do the whole movie for you?
You did.
They're writing it down as they listened.
We will roll into your 90s at 9 with some Green Day.
Play a little golf gaming stream powered by Ryan.
I'll wait.
We have to play football.
No, no, I'll say not for long.
We can start whenever you want, but Friday we'll do Syracuse.
New Hampshire State.
All right, so this might be our last week of golf because we'll do.
We can play golf whenever we want.
We'll see how the week plays out.
But now we can mix in NCAA and then in a week, we can mix in Madden football.
Pillows got a good point. Chris Pratt plays the Hooters owl. He's the owl in this.
Oh, that makes sense.
I'm an owl.
I'm an owl. Who? Come in for Trigger wings.
Who? Like an owl.
Look at my head. I could spit it all around.
Gaming stream powered by Ryan Phelps Auto Sales. You are buying, styling, jet plane flying, profiling.
Who! Hoo! Hoo! With Ryland Phelps Auto Sales.
90s and I kicks off a Green Day.
