We interrupt this program.
Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, faultless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish.
They are not part of the legitimate business world.
What they do is they celebrate underachievement.
And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil.
And if I could find some way constitutionally to do away with it, I would.
What E.C. Loaded Letter is?
Do you see us on your screen?
Do you hear us in the audio?
Hello?
I'm just kidding.
Are we there?
You can see us?
I assume so.
I'm looking.
Ahoy, hoi.
All right.
We're dealing with two issues this morning on a Monday.
Who is this?
Chief Engineer is here because we're getting a connection fixed at 8.
So it could be, I don't know, I mean, the whole morning could be a little weird.
And then for some reason our video stream was insisting on a thing that I wasn't even trying to do.
Well, but I guess we're here.
Now it's working.
Hello.
Yellow.
Yellow.
Yellow.
Baj phone.
Baj phone.
I haven't even done my five hour yet because I wanted to try this with you.
You found this one for me.
Oh, I should have saved mine.
The fruity rainbow.
God knows I love a fruity rainbow.
It tastes like a rainbow belt.
It really does.
I know.
Mickey says I know.
How could we be impressed in new owners?
Let's be late.
That's all right.
That's all right.
We weren't late.
We were here.
I was here.
I was here.
It was the connections that were late.
Wait. We're here.
This is the five-hour energy rainbow candy blend.
It's like one of those rainbow, like fruit by the foot, but they're sparkly.
Yeah, like the sour belts.
The sour belts.
All right, here we go.
It's good.
I liked it.
Let me get this a go.
I think you're going to like that one.
Because I think it actually does taste like one of those like sour belt things.
Right?
That's delightful.
Right?
That's a good one.
I don't order some of those.
Big fan of that.
That's delightful.
I try to lick a red licorice one because I thought I was like,
oh, I was like, that's going to be good.
It didn't really.
Yeah.
I thought it was going to taste like a Twizzler.
Ever since watching that Wonka reality show on Netflix,
I've been craving all kinds of candy.
I bet watching that.
That whole show was a big sci-op for candy, man.
They had a whole liquorish challenge where they all had to be twisted into
licorice twists, and then there was a big bucket of licorice,
and they're like, how much liquor is?
in there. And I'm like, I got to get some licorice.
What do you get, Twizzlers?
Those wallaby ones? I'm a Twizzler guy,
but you know what? I do like those
wallaby ones. Those are so good.
All but the cinnamon are phenomenal.
I've never had the cinnamon. And I don't really
seek out the black licorish. I like just a
classic missionary liquorish.
I like the, I like certain black
licorishes. I like grape too.
Ooh, I don't think I've ever had a grape.
Or you know a liquorish. I like, the pollen peel.
You know when you go to like a country store?
You know what I'm talking about? Or like a
Saughters.
The bags.
Just the bags of like green apple licorice.
Yes, I do.
You want a strawberry?
I do.
I do.
You want orange?
Orange, yeah.
I don't usually, but I do now.
I didn't know that was an option, but yes, I would like that licorice.
Absolutely.
Ahoy, hoy, everybody.
Yeah, sorry for the, uh, starting out with a win.
It started with a wimper.
But here we are live.
Starting with a wimper, but we came in and we're ready to,
ready to kick some booty this morning on a Monday morning, Coco.
Lots to get through over the weekend.
can tell you about our fun up at Fright Mare.
Various parts of my face hurt and or are scratched.
From biting a fence.
Well, just rubbing as hard as like my face up against the fence.
I can see a little open wound on the nose there.
I got there like my, it's not as, it's no bruisey.
I thought of it right in here.
Katie says I like stale twizzlers.
What's a stale twizzler?
Like a bag is open.
But like what's the consistency?
Hard.
Hard twizzler.
Interesting.
Hard twisler.
I'm trying to, I'm trying to.
I'm trying to.
picture in my head if I, I don't know if I ever had a stale twizzler.
That's a weird, I mean, I'm curious.
You do you, boo, but that's a weird combo.
That's like eating a, like almost like a pencil than when they get real hard.
Ken breaking news in chat, buzz balls already discontinuing the Pop-Tarts collab.
Oh no, do you find one?
Good thing I grabbed one.
Where did you find it?
Ah, you evil maniacal bastard.
The liquor store.
Ew.
All right.
Well, that'll be.
They switched over to, because they told me keep checking, keep coming back and checking.
When I had the place where I get my little drink things there.
Yeah, yeah.
They were like, keep checking.
Our fall time ones haven't come in yet.
And then I checked like once a week and their falltime ones came in.
All right.
Well, we got one.
That's a collectible now, bud.
Yeah, sister says in chat, she always ruined them because she'd leave the bag open and then no one else would want them.
Oh, she did it on purpose.
That's gross.
Or was it.
I would do that with soda and leave the top off.
would get a defizz.
I like flat soda.
Well, that's a little soda juice.
Or would she,
Big Sister it,
and because that way she wouldn't have to share,
she didn't even like Stale Twizzlers,
but she developed a liking of them.
Survival mechanism, yeah.
Because that way then they were all for her,
and she wouldn't have to share with anybody else.
Pretty brilliant, big brain thinking.
We got a lot to get to.
We'll tell you all about different various,
your Cowboys won yesterday.
Oh, yeah.
Bill's falling apart there.
I was correct with the.
the score almost.
You were?
Not all the Texans.
I think I said 3414 or something like that.
I think it was 3440 or something close.
That's you finally getting a win Saturday.
30, 3430.
Yeah, that.
That's the QB.
That's the QB right there.
I like that guy.
Sorry, Angelie.
It's been fun, but that's the QB.
And he was getting guys involved, not to make it about video games.
Yeah.
But when I would play that game and certain guys on Syracuse would be awesome,
not he was throwing to those guys.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
See there.
That's what you got to do.
Throw to these guys that are really, really good with them hands.
Let's get you some flexitorum, bud.
For your eyebags?
Yeah.
Oh, hi-hoe.
This is K.
Oh, yeah.
Tightens it right up.
Tightens it right up.
There's lots of face options nowadays, bud.
I use a lot of eye cream for stuff like that.
It's helped.
It's definitely helped for sure.
Tighten up the old saggy eyebags is what I call you.
Yep.
Does it any time it looks like I'm just getting
over a broken nose sometimes with the
just guy very dark
circles and the puffy so.
And a good amount of the time you are getting over a broken
nose. That's true. I
I'm lucky enough to be aging perfectly and
I have no notes. Yes. On my face
and appearance and listen
I'm blessed beauty. That's just something I've always
known about myself. I'll get you.
You are. A lot of these content
creators could just get punched in the face
and that would really fix a lot of problems
as I don't know
I don't know what this content was supposed to be
or who it was for
but an unnamed content creator
in Philly last Thursday
I'm already weary
goes into Pat's King of Steaks
which is a great spot to get a cheese steak.
Oh, I love a cheese steak.
Oh my God.
Shout out.
Is that better than the other place?
Isn't there two?
Is it that one?
I don't know.
I'm not in Philly enough to know
but I know at least Pat's King of Steaks.
No, listen, it's 6.20 in the morning.
No, I need cheese.
No, no, no. It's not early.
Shout out to I just discovered West End Chopped Food Truck here in Central New York.
They were...
West End chopped had cheese steaks.
Pretty, pretty good.
They were at something we did.
I don't remember.
That was a pretty clutch cheese steak I had for the first time last week.
I've seen them before, just not experienced them yet.
Well, this is Pat's King of Stakes.
South Philly, which is where you should get your ass kicked if you do this.
charges are pending the footage
the content creator posted
shows him ordering a sandwich
picking it up throwing it in the face of the worker
and running away
what a prick
they're just little pricks and who's that content for
like are people watching that go
like f off dude
you you run run run
owner Frank Olivierieri described the victim
as 47 year old Tom Franco
and those are hot
quote the guy picked up the
sandwich and threw it in his face and ran away, the coward.
That's what he said. He called him a coward.
They're going to charge him with assaults.
Gino's steaks is the other one because they publicly come out and back to Pat.
Gotcha.
Saying that's somebody's father or grandfather and they offered $5,000 reward
that anybody you can track them down.
Well, track them down.
Oh, I'm sure it's not hard.
If it's a...
If it's like a content...
Influencer, yeah, yeah.
Then it shouldn't be hard at all.
Like whenever I see that content of like, you're in the grocery store and somebody throws a thing at you in the grocery store.
Who is watching that and enjoying that?
Yeah.
Is there a whole universe of douchebags that are just laughing at other people's misery?
Yo, look at the guys.
You're going to clean all that up.
Right?
Like when they would pour the milk, remember the milk one?
That's what you're talking about.
Yeah, they would pretend to slip and throw the milk up into the air.
Yeah.
Somebody's got to clean that up.
Yeah.
They would do that on the subway.
Like you'd see videos that people on the subway spilling an entire gallon of milk.
I'm like, all right, well, I forgot.
I made someone's day worse.
Because I was in the dairy world when those were popular.
I don't remember if we ever had like a, hey, if this happens, I don't remember.
Because I know I would have lost my mind.
Like, I can't endorse.
Somebody did that.
I would have made them clean it up with their clothes.
I can't endorse violence, obviously.
But a lot of people, if they just got punched in the face once, would really straighten their ways.
Like, these people have never been punching the face.
Never.
They never, don't live in the fear of her.
No, they've just always been told they're hilarious or they're great or whatever.
And this one ran away.
Like stand your ground.
You did the prank.
Yep.
The prank involves you running away like a pussy.
That's the prank now?
Yeah, that way if I run away, it doesn't matter.
There's no consequences to my actions.
You know what I'm saying, man?
Because I was, oh, that's funny.
A South Philly beat down?
That I was just going to say what Jimmy just said.
Because if he gets caught, so I can you grab him?
You, you, you, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill, chill.
It was a goof, it was a break, it was a break.
There was this one clip going around.
There was just one clip going around.
And I love, I love karma.
And there's this one guy who's clearly doing these content creator things.
And he walks up on this guy outside of a grocery store and like gets in his face or shoves him.
And the guy punches him in the face.
Yeah.
And he lays him out.
Yeah.
And you know what?
I bet that douchebag learned a lesson that day.
Yep.
I'm not about violence, but I'm saying some of these kids, eh.
I know it was just a TV.
show, but I, every time that in the episode of the office where Jim doesn't drive away
when Dwight throws that milkshake into the, back into like the McDonald's,
and Jim takes the keys out of there, every time in my head and I was like, good, good,
that's what you get.
Yeah, you have to learn, man.
It's not funny.
Yeah, no, no, mm-mm.
Like, I'm thinking back, even in like our era of jackass, they were just pranking each other
essentially.
The people that you...
Or we're going to get Dan Vito.
The people you bothered were...
Your friends.
Yes.
Or the people that were like you were on their property.
Yeah.
Hey.
Get out of my property.
Oh, okay.
Like if it's just your crew of idiots, then I'm fine with it.
Like, you know, jackass would prank each other and we'd get to watch and laugh.
I think every...
I don't like what unsuspecting victims are involved.
Everybody's class or school had that group, right?
right that tried to do those videos.
They wanted to, yeah, they wanted to duplicate.
They thought they were, yeah.
Yep.
Everybody was in that era.
We had that.
Twitch.tv slash the show.
That's what I'm saying.
You just got to learn.
You'll learn.
That's a risky place to do that because now they're going to find this kid.
Yeah.
And it's, well, they're kind, you know what, though?
They're lucky that it's just going to be whatever this is now.
Like, he's not lucky that he's going to be, you know, have to face charges.
But he's lucky they didn't grab him, I bet.
Yeah.
This is bad for him.
Because now it's,
now they can't just throw them in a river.
Yeah, before, cement shoes.
How much?
Five year, 25 million.
What year was that, though?
That was like 99 or something.
Wow.
Back then that was,
that was pretty good, but to waste it.
I don't know if we need to get into,
we can get into football now if we want to,
but we're talking,
you remember Rob Johnson's contract from 1999.
I remember the whole situation.
Yeah, I was telling everybody that I have never really followed sports.
I always assumed Doug Flutty was a much big,
bigger member of the bills and I was there for a couple of years and you said he came in because
this Rob Johnson guy?
Yep, he was probably never going to play just to, hey, good story.
Have him as the backup.
We won't need him.
We just signed superstar quarterback Rob Johnson to a five year, $25 million contract.
And I don't know exactly one, but it wasn't too long into the season that he went down
for the whole season.
And he came in and was just baller.
and they're like, well, balls.
Now we can't bench this guy.
Yeah, I was bummed about that Bill's outcome.
I don't know why Josh Allen chucked the ball at the end there, but...
It's one of those where when you've got him as your quarterback,
he does so much like that that works out that you got to take...
Sometimes it doesn't, yeah.
That ending every once in a while.
Because, of course, that's why they have rivalry games,
but of course that's the game that Drake May gets right for the Patriots.
rates.
Yeah, and they look good.
So let's run through scores from yesterday as long as you're talking football.
Yo, wearing football real quick.
Colts over the commanders.
Yeah, that's a Sunday morning over in.
Oh, it was?
Tottenham hot spur stadium.
Oh, Brian Allie, Matt.
Tottenham hot spurt state, you, I.
And then your Cowboys beating the Texans.
Good for you.
Talking about that climbing back up the ladder.
You're talking about that two and two doubtless cowboys?
Looking pretty pretty good.
No, C.B. Lamb had 17.
catches for 189 yards.
Wow.
You know one touchdown.
17 catches.
Wow.
Yeah, that was awesome.
Bears over the Jets, but bears are looking good this year, right?
And that's even with that guy that Tyson or however he name is Baggant, Baggant.
Bilbo Baggins?
Yep, Bilbo Baggins.
But yeah, they're, if they can hold steady while Caleb Williams is on the sidelines,
they're going to be dangerous when he comes back.
Talked about the Patriots over the bill.
Jags over the.
Angles.
Yeah, that was a fun game.
A little lower scoring I thought it was going to be.
I expected like 45-40, but still Jags.
Your New York football giants over the Cardinals yesterday.
On top of the NFC East.
How is that happening?
James Winston-led Giants.
Well, playing the Cardinals.
Oh, they're in the start.
No, so cupcakes.
They beat the Cowboys.
Yes, they did.
Beat the Cowboys.
Ravens over the Titans yesterday, 2418.
Yeah, a little closer than need be.
I forgot to look it up.
I think Lamar Jackson got hurt in this game.
I'm not sure.
I don't have to go back and take a peek.
Rams over the Eagles?
What happened, Eagles?
It was, uh, was it like 20 to something?
24-20 final.
Going into the fourth quarter and the Rams just popped a couple touchdowns in the fourth
and it's like, and there they go.
We got a lot of Eagles fans to listen to this show.
Sorry, Eagles.
Also two and two.
Packers over the box.
Yeah, that, I mean, they looked okay,
considering, but the Bucks didn't have
Baker Mayfield. He's going to be about for like two months.
Oh. So they're not going to be good. They're 0 and 4.
No surprise here. Vikings over the dolphins.
Yeah, that was boring.
Have the dolphins won a game yet?
No, O'N 4. But 15 to 10.
Do the dolphins win a game this year?
I mean, do they...
Honestly?
What will be the first team that dolphins can beat?
Jets.
Oh, maybe.
Whenever they play the Jets.
I don't know if they play the Titans.
Chiefs are just looking great. Chiefs are four and all right.
Yeah, they look...
They look...
But again, the Raiders tried, though.
They held strong.
They put up 14 in the fourth quarter.
They made it a game.
But yeah, they look, they just look really good.
The Chiefs look really good again.
49ers over the Broncos.
We'll also look really good.
I thought they're going to be okay.
But 4 and O, beating really good teams.
Cahawks.
Brock Purdy looks amazing.
Seahawks over the Chargers.
They also look good.
Another 0 and 4 team now.
Who?
Chargers?
Chargers.
Chargers.
Titans, Bucks, Texans.
Whoa.
All O and four.
Not good.
And then Panthers over the Lions last night.
That might have been game of the week.
Yeah?
That was awesome.
That was awesome.
That's the one you stayed up late for?
Well, I stayed up the Braves game.
But that was on, what's the word?
Corresponding.
Corresponding?
Concurrently.
Concurrently.
And then tonight you got Falcons at Saints.
Is that going to be anything?
I don't know.
There's some fun players to watch.
Yeah.
It might be at least hopefully a shootout.
You don't want a Monday night football game where it's 3-0 going into halftime.
Let's do the sports, baby.
All right, so it was fun action.
Fun day of football yesterday, Coco.
Oh, yeah.
It was awesome.
What was your favorite game?
Honestly, last night's...
Was your game of the week?
Panthers game was good.
That Patriots game, the Bills, but that was the games.
Yeah.
That was the good.
So maybe one of those two.
I mean, the Cowboys, they were all in Red Zone.
So I got to get a little taste of all of them.
You did.
You sampled.
You sampled around.
A little dabbling.
Chargers, Chiefs, maybe even.
Okay.
It was a bunch.
How's your team doing?
October 5th, 2000, 26.
You're my Lord.
And we are in the Halloween spirit.
If you're not watching our video stream,
Coco's got a little skeleton behind him.
Can you see it?
A little projector, huh?
He's got pumpkins on the table.
It's pretty creepy in here.
here. And then the ghost of Schultz changes our lights on the K-Rock sign regularly. So thank you
for that Shultz. So that's Blanking. Reminding us that he's still with us. And then I know we got
stuff upstairs I can grab too. So I have to today. I put some stuff in here. I'm that great even
a little more. Might as well. Thank you to everybody who came out to Frightmare farms on Saturday
night. I guess throughout the whole weekend. They said Saturday was extremely busy. They sold
a lot of tickets. Yep. So we'll go ahead and take full credit for that.
A yes.
It's one of our favorite things of the year.
You heard Nicole in here on Friday.
Agreed.
And let's break down how much fun we had, Cody, on Saturday night.
There's just something about it.
There's something about being there.
I love Halloween.
I love fall.
It's my favorite season, my favorite holiday.
And you are completely immersed in all of that.
Yep.
When you're at Frightmare Farms.
Yep.
It's unreal.
Up in Palermo.
We get there.
and we're going to be placed.
I can tell you where we were now.
So there was a new attraction called the extraction,
which is kind of a play like on the tooth fairy,
but not really the tooth fairy.
Yep.
And Cody and I were part of it.
We were part of it.
We were there and trying to get our kind of vibe figured out.
What were we going to be?
Now let's start with it.
I guess my vibe was just,
Just a shadow.
I didn't really need much other than my costume.
Because we have thoughts going into it.
Because you get there, you get that mask thing.
You're like, okay, all right.
But we do this every time.
As soon as we get to the spot.
We adapt and we work through it.
Then we change it up.
So it was kind of a three-part scare where in one room,
and I had a whole thing worked out in my head.
In one room, you would hear a woman.
and I hope I'm not spoiling any of this for anybody who hasn't gone yet.
I'm not, because it's not, it's...
I'm not going to be there and you're not going to be there.
Yeah, I was going to say, I don't know what they do there.
We're not there if someone else does this.
I mean, you know the lady's normally in this spot, so I'm not spoiling anything.
No.
So you go in this one room where a child is having his teeth extracted
or fighting about having his teeth extracted.
Then you take a turn and you are in a green vortex tunnel,
which is a really cool effect.
Yes.
It's like a laser tunnel with fog.
And I was going to be in there.
And initially I had a mask on,
which had like all these weird teeth and stuff.
But we realized you can't see my face at all.
No.
So turns out I'm scarier without my mask.
He was just terrifying as is.
I'm naturally terrifying.
Just literally as is.
So what I had on.
No makeup.
Nothing.
Jokes on you.
I'm so ugly.
I don't even need a mask.
Were you wearing your glasses?
No, I took those off.
Okay.
Because I figured that would look stupid.
Yeah, well, you could.
That was the one note I remember having was that you could see the outline of the glasses.
Yeah.
No, I took you off.
Yeah.
So what I had was this bloody like apron, like a butcher's apron on and these pants.
And you can see it.
The video was on my.
TikTok, Facebook, all the places, K-Rox, C-N-Y.
And so my silhouette ended up looking terrifying because it had like this apron.
Describe to people what it looked like, because I was it.
Yeah, what you were saying.
It was just a big black silhouette because that vortex thing was weird because it's made for a bigger area.
Yeah.
So when it's all condensed into just a hallway the way it was with the five,
and then all of a sudden a big silhouette of a butcher-looking person just is standing in front of you
and then they walk at you.
There's no like your sense of like where to go or what to do because they don't know that there's a,
you know, a spot for you to take off.
Go off.
So what I was doing.
So it looks like you're just going right at them.
And I guess you'll have to explain what it was like on your end of it by watching it.
So what I would do is there was this, there's this tunnel of light that comes down.
And I would hide kind of under the light in the pure darkness.
And then as I would see feet coming towards me, I would jump into the light.
And I think like the illusion made me look like eight feet tall.
No, it did because it was, I don't know if it was.
I don't remember, but it felt slanted almost.
So it felt slanted.
And I would jump up and be this silhouette of a butcher where you couldn't see my face,
but you could see in my apron and all this stuff.
Couldn't see what was in your hands or anything.
I got more screams this year.
Yeah.
Than I've ever had in any previous haunts.
Yes.
Easily.
Because I, on the regular, would be laughing hysterically because where I was was on the opposite side of that.
So I could either just stand where I was and wait and listen for the screams.
Right.
Or what I kept doing and it made it even.
scarier and I can I can show Twitch.
I was able to go and see from the reverse like your back.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You could peek from me at them, which was equally terrifying because, you know,
your silhouette was still, you know, wasn't like it was lighter where I was standing.
And I was really hopeful that people would not be able to see my face.
No, you couldn't.
I would hide from the light.
No, you couldn't.
Or I would duck away into different.
corners. But when you got
just past
you, what I would do
because I wanted to watch, but I didn't want to
just give up everything. Right.
There was a big black curtain.
Yeah. So I would poke
just my head out and like
wrap the kind of like curtain
so it looked like it was just a
floating head. Yeah. And then
there's a just enough light
to where you would see this
right after. Yeah, that's
Cody's face. So if you're not watching in Twitter,
YouTube, I think just Twitch today, or the show.com.
I got the most screams doing the littlest makeup or littlest effort because I got to work
off my silhouette and my size.
Cody, as you know, goes full bore.
So in my head, I was the extractor, meaning the people came through the tooth fairy room
and they were afraid their teeth are going to be yanked out and I was going to yank your teeth out.
Yes, you were the...
I had my bloody apron on.
That was my character in my brain
as I was coming to get your teeth.
Yep.
And if you escaped me,
then you met one of my victims
who was in a caged den area right behind me,
and that was Coco.
Yep.
Tell the people what you did as far as makeup and teeth go.
Well, I had, uh,
I give them free range.
Yeah,
they ought to do whatever they want to you.
Whenever, you know,
when I get there,
just because they know,
you know,
you know,
I just say,
what do you think is best?
Yeah.
And they came up with that.
this thing where you black out your teeth.
I had extracted your teeth.
I took out your teeth.
I blacked out my teeth with this makeup stuff.
And then they did up my face to look like, you know,
I'd probably been there a while or was dying or dead or whatever.
And then I had a bloody jacket.
And then they gave me these blood tablets.
These like Alka-Salser, basically, but it was like red.
So it was-
You were foaming blood at the mouth.
Yes.
So that's what that picture was.
That was after the fact.
Like I didn't realize that it was just all caked into my beard.
And people would escape me and they'd come around the corner.
And there you were.
I was behind the fence.
And what I would either do was this thing where I would just, you know, tell them to help me or whatever.
I would say, no, no, hey, come back.
Come back.
Help me.
Let me out.
Let me.
I can help you.
No, no.
Trust me.
Trust me.
Trust me.
Trust me.
You're going to want.
Come back.
You're going to want me to help you.
Trust me.
because I would distract them
because then after,
which I won't say,
because they will be there.
Yeah.
There was another part that I would then not,
I felt like it would be better if I set them up.
Yeah.
If you will.
Yeah, you were taking away,
you were drawing attention for another scare
that we won't spoil.
Yes.
So it worked out well.
I take those for acid indigestion.
We're using them for intimidation.
Well, he did use a couple too many.
at one point because you did almost throw up?
Well, you know, just a little.
Because it was so much you swallow on accident
and it's, you know,
Alka sousser that's all
foaming up. Yeah, yeah.
But no, no, it was nice to be the distraction
of, no, no, no, help me, help me, help me, help me, help me,
no, no, no, trust me, you're going to let me help me,
and then when they didn't, I told you.
Cody is, Cody is a permanent
child. And this is,
I was just in the darkness all night,
listening to Cody. He would hear my screams
and then I never said a word because this high-pitched squeaky voice is not intimidating.
So I just wouldn't say anything.
And then I would listen to Cody, who was really entertaining himself half of the night
because he would do that move or he'd poke his head through.
And he goes, I wouldn't go that way.
I wouldn't go that way.
And then I hear him jump to his side.
Because then I'd scamper back across to get over to my side before they could get around the corner.
So that when you came around the corner, there his head was again.
He's like, I told you you you didn't go this way.
I told you.
It was making me laugh.
I tried to warn you.
It was making me laugh.
I was getting screams.
He was getting screams.
Well, and it was great because I looked the way I did.
And then just I would get low.
Just the little kids.
I love scaring little kids.
Yeah.
And not like to make them cry.
Just give them a good scare.
They were there for that.
Yeah, they were there for that.
And it was, no, no, no, you just get, you know, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, no.
Yeah.
Come here.
Come here.
Let me out.
Yeah.
Just their faces.
So many of them just.
we just have that wide-eyed, like,
what, what am I supposed to do?
What do I do?
What do I'm supposed to do?
One of the one kid,
just in this most dead pan,
looked, kept walking,
went, no, I'm good.
And just the funniest little,
five-year-old boy thing ever.
It's so funny because, like,
there's teenagers that are cooler than everybody.
So you'll get a lot of bro, bra, bra, bra,
no, bra, bra, no, bra.
But then you'll scare a lot of teens, too.
Yes, no, I was going to mention that.
This year, there was only one
like,
too cool for this guy that I saw.
It was very nice.
And I scared a lot of them.
Usually there's a lot of them out.
But no,
there's only one that was like,
I know you got all your teeth, dude.
I'm like, you know, 16 year old kid.
And I went, yeah, no, it's a haunted house.
Yeah.
But then Cody doesn't give enough
because we're just there for fun
and Nicole just kind of lets us do what we want.
So like we were like towards one point
we were getting ready to leave.
And one of them was like,
I know you're just a paid actor
and Cody goes
ha ha they don't pay me anything
right? Right? So he'll
just talk right back at him. Or
I was able to
you know pick on
like guys wearing
Giants or Bill stuff. Yeah yeah.
Like a Giants fan
That's the scariest thing in here.
So he's being funny. He's working the room.
I never said a word but I would do this move
where I would either jump up and be the silhouette.
No, it was good because it was cool to
Watch it, you disappear into the vortex as well.
Or I would just stand there and loom over people if they weren't moving.
Or if like the conga line came through, I'd kind of sneak into the conga line.
And then stop and be a silhouette.
My size and my ugliness was working very well for me.
And it was so very fun.
And it was also awesome the few times that, because again, we had a little more free reign.
Yeah.
Let's just say I figured out how to open.
Yeah, my gauge, yeah.
So I had a good amount of fun with that with people too.
Were you blocking people off?
No.
I was thinking like you could have separated groups with that thing.
I did like once or twice, but I was afraid, one, either to slow everything down when it was moving like that or two.
You don't have to time it right.
I wouldn't obviously do it when there was someone walking up because you had to do it in a way where it swung out hard.
So I was like, I'm going to, if I hit somebody, we're never welcome back.
if I ruined this for us.
No.
So I didn't want to do.
But it was just funny.
Like, because am I locked in or are you locked out?
And then I'd walk away and then I'd open it and be standing there.
Like it would get some good.
There was a group of like, like young moms, like 20s or 30s or whatever.
Yeah.
That I held my stance for a while because she was, the woman in the front was clearly trying to talk herself out of being afraid.
So she was like with her group of four moms.
And she was like, I know you're just.
paid actor. And I know you're not going to stand here the whole time.
You're just a paid actor. I'm all right. Everything's all right.
Anyways, it was fun.
It was great. Always loved doing Frightmare Farms.
As per usual, when you came over and we're like, all right, it's time to go.
Dude, two and a half hours have gone by.
Yeah.
Because I was, like, we only have to do that for like an hour. She's like, go do it for a little
while. And we never just do it for a little while.
If you were, I'm like, we're going to say it all time.
I went, oh, 6.30, they started sending people through.
Yep.
And I'm doing my jumps and I'm doing my whole thing.
And then I'm like, all right, well, what time am we going to get out of here?
And I looked at my phone and it was 858.
And I go, hey, I think it's nine.
We can get out of here.
And then we went and watched some of the chaos show.
Yeah, all the food and the treats.
The amount of things that you can do there.
It's incredible.
That don't have anything to do with the attractions themselves is amazing.
Just enjoying the fall perfect, like a perfect fall town.
Yeah.
That is literally what it is.
They've turned an area into those things you see in movies.
Yeah, they had a movie on the projection screen.
We saw it that was like an RIP, like private area.
You could throw a party in.
Yeah.
That was so smart.
If you've got a kid or just whatever that's into horror and stuff.
Oh, my God.
I can't even imagine how cool that would be for a birthday party.
But yeah, there was just shops.
Such a cool spot.
And it looks like this weekend is going to be gorgeous.
This weekend they do the Sunday scare as well.
Well, Sunday.
So Sunday's going to be almost 80.
Hell yeah.
Beautiful weekend again coming up.
Fraymare Farms, go check them out, guys.
Yep, it was great.
We had a blast.
Hopefully we scared you.
How was everyone's weekends good?
Yes?
I bet.
You did?
It was a good weekend.
It was a gorgeous weekend.
Gorgeous weekend.
We told you all about how we were up at Frightmare Farm Saturday night.
What was Friday night?
What was I doing Friday night?
Resting up to scare on Saturday.
It must have been, right?
Yeah.
I think I was watching the rest of that Willy Wonka show with my wife,
the Golden Ticket Show.
Yeah, it was just to get ready for.
Because we knew we were going to have a big...
Big busy Saturday.
Big busy Saturday.
Yeah, nothing really uneventful.
And then yesterday, wife made it pretty bang and chili.
Have you done it yet this season?
I did.
Remember I tried to do.
Oh, yeah?
You did.
Tried to make one for just myself again and filled up the entire crackpot.
Because I don't understand how that works.
I got some waiting for me for lunch, man.
Okay.
She had some pot roast.
Her mom made pot roast.
Oh, okay.
And she was like, I don't want to waste this pot roast.
Let's cut this up with this in the chili.
And that's a good combo.
That's a good combo.
Yep.
What did you give her food after Frightmare Farm?
Don't you usually get a meal somewhere?
I was going to, but that I had that stuff on my teeth.
Mm-hmm.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
So I wanted to get home and get that off like ASAP.
Yeah, Zippy Syracuse Crunch Home Opener this Saturday.
We will have tickets to give away.
We got tickets to give away.
Because, and I was going to stop and just bring it home and then whatever, have it there.
But, and then I got, I wanted to see if it would work.
And it did.
The second I got my car, I went like this.
And you wiped your two front teeth.
And I wiped my two front teeth off.
And it was the funniest picture that I had ever seen.
So the whole way home, I just kept casually.
smiling at myself and cracking myself up in the mirror.
So I was like, I can't go through a drive-through.
Go, thank you.
Because then I'll just, I'll never be able to go back to that ever again.
That McDonald's is now dead to me.
Excuse me.
Can I get two chickenburgs?
I'll get bird, please.
Thank you.
But Friday after we left the show here, we had our company lunch.
Still some in there.
Now, I want to preface this by saying,
I know that a lot of people are struggling to afford groceries right now and to eat.
So this is a very difficult topic because we're going to complain about food.
Yeah, but.
So I'm sympathetic to those you struggling.
But even...
I would have given it to all.
I would have given it.
I don't know if they would have even eaten it, to be honest with it.
What is this is?
All the week, if you were listening to the show, you heard us hyping up.
Our new ownership, Pimal Broadcasting.
Was going to...
Chuck is his name.
Chuck's the CEO.
He's hanging around town.
He's coming into town every week, getting us up and running.
And he's like, I want to buy lunch for the staff on Friday.
So all week, we're like, well, this is a big, it's like a first date.
Yeah.
What's Chuck going to provide?
Well, I'm cleaning Chuck's hands of this right out of the gate.
I don't think he, no.
I don't think he bought this lunch.
No, because I never got a chance to schmooze him with suggestions.
Right.
Because I was legit.
Going to hype up a tallies.
Going to be like, so like, where are you?
I was going to ask.
where he was.
He's not there.
Wow.
What type of?
Yeah.
Whatever.
And then the line was going to be.
You got a Tully's down there?
He's going to try to work it that way.
That would have been clutch.
Yeah.
We had seen some Pepino's flyers scattered among the conference room table.
And we go, we might be getting Pepinos.
But I didn't want pizza and Ziti, so I hid those.
Which is, and if it was just Pepino's pizza, I would have been down with that.
But for some reason, it's always a tray of Zidi.
We covered that.
And it's not like it's going to be any better to eat a bunch of,
chicken wings in the middle of the day in an office setting.
Not that that's better, but, I don't know, there's just something about pizza and ziti.
So I was, I was like, okay, maybe we're going to get some papinos.
They have those garlic knots I like.
They're going to bring us breakfast pizza, I guess, you're pretty soon because I didn't know
they do to breakfast pizza.
Shut up papinos.
Yeah, hell yeah.
And that I heard rumblings of Dan from the Wildcat might be stopping by with some Wildcat.
Now I'm like, okay.
Pizza's fine.
Pizza's a standard.
It's a winner.
Right.
I'd still rather have pizza than...
Nobody's going to be mad about a pizza?
Than no pizza.
You know?
Because if there's an option of pizza or no pizza,
I think most people are going to agree with me.
You choose pizza.
So I was just under the assumption.
It was just going to be a pizza.
Either propinos, wildcat, fine.
So we...
And the wildcat rumor was hitting pretty strong Friday.
It's what I heard.
It heard.
It's what I heard.
All the way up until when the person left to go get it.
Yeah.
And I heard, like, because Tammy is, she works with Wildcat, and I was like, yeah, I think we're getting Wildcat.
So I was locked in on Wildcat lunch.
Yeah.
Our first lunch with Amal broadcasting, going to be a good lunch.
Yep.
But I guess he put it in the hands of our sales manager, Nick, who I'm not sure has ever purchased food for a lunch before.
No.
Or maybe this is new to him.
Yeah.
Nope, never.
I don't think he's ever.
I don't know if he's ever.
Or he's.
Maybe he's never catered a party before.
Or he's never to do it himself because he's so bushy.
Maybe he's like a helper that does it for him.
Right, he just sends somebody off.
Or your theory was right too.
Like, he lives out in bougie manliest.
Maybe in manliest this is a good lunch.
They do.
This is what they have.
Which, again, none of it was like,
you know what I mean?
It was.
Not in a way of like it's like, you know, bad fish or anything.
No, at least it wasn't fish.
That's what I mean.
It was just.
So the lunch gets delivered.
and we were all thinking pizza.
So we were all expecting pizza,
and I think a lot of expectations had been set at that.
Now, I know after working for as many years of Cody as I have,
he cannot hide his disgust on his face.
So I had to run an intervention.
I'm not very good with facial expressions.
Nick comes down and says,
lunch is in the comments room.
Naturally, my fat ass runs right in there,
and I scope it out
and I beeline out of that conference room
and find Cody.
And I saw him get here.
Yeah.
And carry things in.
So he did a good job at hiding it
because I saw it and went,
yep.
So Cody, I go get Cody.
But I guess I hadn't seen it.
And I say, I need you to mentally prepare
for what's about to happen
when you walk in that room.
And what's funny is that
I like when we're around other people that don't quite understand yet.
So there are other random office workers that were just, what do you mean?
He's got to prepare.
He's got to prepare.
Because I didn't want Cody going into the room with our new owner,
Chuck standing there and Cody says something like whatever Cody would say.
I had to mentally prepare him for it.
Or just my face immediately of just.
Disgust.
Yeah.
I would not be good at the World Series of Poker.
No.
I go to Gomez because I think Gomez was expecting pizzas as well.
Yes.
I go Gomez, I need you to prepare yourself.
You warned as many of us as you could.
I go before you walk in that room and see what's displayed for a company lunch today.
So you're all curious now.
What was it?
I don't know how to describe.
What end are you going to start at?
I don't know.
You're going to start with the-
Because it was almost like, I don't know how Nick would have achieved this meal.
Yeah.
I don't know how you could order this from Wegman.
It was impressive.
It was impressive.
It was such a hodgepodge of Wegmans' things.
Whatever Wegmans he picked it up from,
I'm thinking they were probably confused too.
They were like, you want prosciutto croissant sandwiches?
Yeah, right.
Okay, so let's break through what it is.
I walk in the room.
And I told you there was going to be wraps, and of course there was wraps.
Yeah.
And again, we're very blessed.
We're very lucky.
Everyone, we have food, and we're very lucky.
It wasn't just like.
Here's a turkey wrap.
No, it wasn't.
It was chicken Caesar salad wrap.
That was the normal one or a weird.
Or a roast beef, I think, wrap, but they were cut into little one inch.
Yes, or something else.
I can go get it for it.
There's still something.
There's still something out.
So I go, okay, there's some wraps.
Like Cody said.
There appeared to be prosciutto on a croissant.
Is that a thing?
With some other something on it that I didn't know.
Is that a thing?
I guess.
Am I just not in bougie enough circles to know about the prosciutto croissant combination?
Right. Am I not in that circle?
I bet it probably could be good if I had any interest in that style of meat, which I do not.
There was.
I'm not a brujute guy.
A tray of, I'm just going to say what it is.
Yes.
And then you guys can tell me what this is for.
chicken breasts cut into slices and also tossed in hot sauce.
Cold.
Cold.
Which I think was for the salad?
Was for the berry salad.
What?
It was a berry salad.
Chicken goes with berries?
Maybe I'm just too white trash to know this is good food.
I mean, I don't know if the buffalo chickens goes with the berries, but I'm pretty sure
that's what it was for.
You make a salad.
and then you take, because it was in the weirdest little,
like you scoop up a little pile of the chicken
and then it goes like across your salad, I would assume,
because it's fancy that.
Cut two later on where I'm sitting there with my tray
and I'm eating the cold chicken slices
and somebody said, how's your chicken, Josh?
And I just started laughing.
Yeah.
Because I didn't know if I was doing it right.
And then I didn't.
I'm like, am I just supposed to eat this?
Does this go with something?
And I didn't.
I went over to grab a fork and it was sporks and I was like, of course it's effing sports.
Of course, sports.
And there was a fork somewhere, I guess, but I was trying to then stab the buffalo chicken with a
buffalo chicken slices.
And I tried to take a bite of what I thought was of one of the other wraps that I don't know what, but it just, it was no.
I'm wondering if we were just too broke to understand this lunch.
Does anybody, does this sound like a good lunch to anybody?
It was fancy.
It was fancy as hell.
Yeah, it was just not.
It was from Wagman, so it probably cost $400.
Big plate of fruit right in the middle of the table.
Does a big plate of fruit?
Salad?
Big cookies were good.
Cookie tray?
I got some cookies.
I got some cookies.
It was a really big cookie.
I was a fan of that.
I was a fan of that.
Yep.
But like.
Oh, man.
When it comes to sales, Nick does a great job.
When it comes to lunches,
not so great.
And I don't know if this is just his class of people in Manlia said eat like this.
I don't know.
He had Chad.
GBT suggests lunch.
Yeah,
suggest lunch that would impress an executive.
Get cold buffalo chicken slices.
Then it was just,
I'll blow up the spot because we'll bust his chops.
Then it was just also awkward to then sit there while eating well.
The new boss is just standing over us without eating or sitting.
Yeah.
Standing staring.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because,
and then it was even.
He was just watching us.
What was even better.
Where cold chicken meets fruit.
Exactly, Katie.
Buffalo.
Buffalo cold chicken.
I didn't know how any of these things went together.
And now we were, it was supposed to be, I don't know how long,
but I'm going to throw Josh under the buzz real quick because it was hilarious because
I was waiting because I was going to follow suit.
Josh did this move where he casually got up from where he was sitting.
Yeah.
And then sat down closer to the door out of nowhere all of a sudden.
And I think it was, was it maybe Gomez?
My frog hop.
Came in.
Yeah.
And it was like, there was an open seat next to me and he didn't want to sit there.
I went, no, you can sit there because what he's doing now is he's going to silently his next move when he's paying attention.
I said he's going to pop up and go right off that door.
Watch.
Yeah.
And like 10 seconds after that.
Oh, yeah, I was up and out.
I was up and out.
And I did the same thing.
I got nobody to impress anymore.
I'm 45 years old.
I've been doing radio 20 years.
I got nobody to impress.
Either like me or you don't.
It was just I could.
You were trying to do the exact same thing I was going to do,
but you'd do it quicker.
All right, what is this?
Somebody is sending us a link for the entertaining.
Okay, these are the entertaining trays at Wegmans.
Let me see what they are.
Oh, it was an entertaining tray?
Oh.
All right.
Pinwheel appetizer tray.
All right.
That looks like we got.
That is absolutely what we got.
Mini croissant pieces with smokes.
Dude, that was salmon.
That wasn't even prosciutto.
That might have been salmon.
Those might have been salmon sandwiches.
No.
Sliced buffalo chicken platter right there.
It's a thing.
But for what?
Exactly.
But for what?
What is sliced buffalo chicken?
Right under that.
He underneath that saw cassadillas and went, nah.
Nah, he skipped the cassidias.
Right under that saw meat and cheese skewer and said, nah.
Tortilla chips and queso, skip those.
Pretel bites with queso, skip those.
And they got a six pounds of cheese.
traditional fruit.
Dude, those were salmon sandwiches.
Thank God.
I got a hundred and ninety pounds of traditional fruit over here every day.
Slay Queen.
Yeah, I don't see.
I got to say, what a combo.
I want to debunk.
What?
Oh, okay.
Then if you go to the middle one.
Yeah.
Slice beef tenderloin?
No, um, of the, of the sandwiches.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I, smoke salmon mini croissant tray.
I think that's what we had.
No, if you look at the, if there's a middle one, that's the, the, the, the,
He's got the prosciutto.
But I don't see the other ones.
So he just chose the prosciutto.
I think the first one was what we got.
The pinwheel appetizer tray.
And then the ultimate mini croissant tray, I think.
But with the, because if you click it.
There was no roast beef or anything.
No, there was no roast beef.
It was all prosciutto.
Yep.
There was no Wagyu beef.
Yeah, that was all proshoot.
It was all proshoot.
Maybe if this is on the Wegman's website,
This just must be a boogie thing I don't know about.
Yeah.
Oh.
I'm a Swayga County trash.
Click this, what?
Click hot appetizers.
Hot, where do you see?
Hot appetizers?
Yeah.
Like entertaining trays, fruit and vegetables.
Hot appetizers.
Like right at the top of the menu.
Oh, my God.
Nick, we could have had.
That whole box.
Could have pizza rolls.
Could have the crispy bites box.
Could have mozzarella sticks.
Could have garlic nuts.
Notts.
On some garlic nuts, too.
Are you still HR?
Can I complain to you about this lunch?
Yeah.
Yes.
That's what I'm here for.
Listen.
I will bring it up.
When it comes to sales, Nick does a great job.
When it comes to lunches, swing and a miss.
That was a lot.
It was a lunch that existed is all I can say.
And then...
What?
The entertaining tray.
Yeah.
Look, the middle one.
I clicked out of it.
What is it?
Peanut butter and jelly mini croissant tray.
What?
Weggnens.
I mean, that would have been better than prosciutto croissants.
Yeah, but Wegmans.
Stop it.
Peanut butter and jelly?
Don't you dare be trying to charge people starting at $30.
I'm calling you out, Wegmans, to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
I'm just happy we didn't get the shrimp tray.
Oh, shrimp tray could have showed up.
Wagooby!
Crabtakes could have showed up.
We could have had the caprizy skewer tray.
A little mozzarella.
I think Nick just blindly clicked around this specific page.
That's what we got.
All right, well, listen.
Entertainment.
We're blessed to have food.
It was entertaining.
Anybody wants one of them.
They're still in the kitchen.
About 72 hours old, I think, at this point.
It's right in there.
On refrigerated.
So here's the clip.
It's a woman who was watching a newscast last week.
About Dolly Parton Day happening at Dollywood.
And at the very end of it, it sounds like the voice of Dolly Parton says something.
All right?
Okay.
Okay.
And Peternell traveled all the way from the Netherlands to see.
You hear that?
I want to hear what?
The lady sounds like.
Yeah, that they're about to interview because the lady on the TV.
Yeah, that they're about to interview because the lady on the interview is from the.
the Netherlands and she's a little blonde lady.
So it almost sounds like,
yeah, yeah, yeah, like here, like play it again.
I'm going to boost it in audition. Hold on a second.
Okay, because it almost sounds like it's glitching out an accent.
Like it's still playing or trying to play part of the video.
It's just glitching a little.
So it sounds like, but it definitely,
Absolutely sounds like Dolly.
Let me see if I can super boost this audio.
Apply.
And Peternell traveled all the way from the Netherlands.
I'm here.
East.
I'm here.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, he's from the Netherlands.
I'm here.
I am here for Dolly.
And Peternell traveled all the way from the Netherlands.
I am here.
East.
Like the people.
People who are posting that, sounds like, they hear Dolly saying, I'm here and at peace.
Oh, played again.
Now I got to hear.
All right.
That's what the ghosty people are saying.
And Peternell traveled all the way from the Netherlands.
I'm here.
Peace.
So everyone's saying, why was she filming?
Because it happened and then our TVs are recording.
So she just rewound it and filmed her TV doing that.
That made it cooler when you go when you think that it's her.
When you think it's Dolly saying, I'm here at peace.
Because if it is that lady that is trying to be interviewed, it still sounds like Dolly.
So now to hear that is a creepy, I'm here.
I'm here at peace.
That is creepy.
And Peternell traveled all the way from the Netherlands.
I'm here, peace.
Right?
I like that better.
I like to think.
I'm here at peace.
I like that better to think that it's that.
Because it legit does sound like her, but I want to hear the ladies.
I know, and I hope that somebody can give
a better audio feed than that, because I'm
curious now. It was creepy.
It gave me the chills. I wanted to play for you guys.
That was so cool.
Stella, who was the band at L'Octoberfest?
My kid went down to L'Octoberfest.
We're popping off in Phoenix, New York.
We're a cute little village.
Come see us sometime, why don't you?
Probably that.
What is it, Coldfront?
I wish. Coldfront's pretty banging.
I was going to say they're like the under the gun of all right now, right?
They're taking over.
Yeah.
They're taking over, and they listen to this stupid show.
So shout out Coldfront.
Appreciate you.
Also.
Where's our private show live outside the studio like the Today Show?
Come on now.
Also happening on Saturday.
Syracuse finally gets a win.
I think it'd been like over a year since they had beat.
What is it?
The FS, FBI, what is it?
Yeah, at FBS school.
They're an independent.
Yukon is independent for football.
So they, like Notre Dame.
Does this not count as like an FBS win?
No, it counts.
They got to win.
42, 41.
Over you, con.
It was a close call.
I know I was, we were both,
I was standing in my living room waiting.
Bro, overtime.
Like,
they caught that touchdown and where,
yes,
I obviously want,
pardon me,
Syracuse to win.
I'm like,
oh,
I got to go.
I know.
I got to get the fright man.
I got to leave Syracuse.
Fan was 48 hours on Phoenix,
right on.
Cool.
But yeah,
and you were saying that's,
that's what they got to do.
They got to have a quarterback
that can make decisions like that.
Yeah,
their roster is set up.
Like, they've got wide receivers.
They've got players.
Syracuse.
Yes.
They've got skill players.
But their playbook is that of, like, you know when you're playing Madden,
and you've got a playbook where there's a bunch of crazy wide receiver routes.
It's like you've got to have a guy that can, has an arm to get these guys the ball,
because the routes take so long to develop.
Yeah.
No offense, Steve Angelly, your arm wasn't it.
Right, I got it.
You've got to have a strong enough arm to be able to get the ball downfield of these guys
once they completed the routes and the mobility to kind of step up and move around in the pocket,
which this guy now.
Angelie was okay-ish at that part, but this dude was making.
Odom.
Yeah, Odom.
Yeah.
That throw at the end, that last.
touchdown. That was an NFL-style throw.
Not to immediately get real high on this guy, but he was...
I think he earned it. He was impressive.
I think he earned it on Saturday. That guy played like a quarterback at another level.
I like to... Not that my analysis is very hot and hitting, but he did done good.
You could see it. Just the difference between that and what I've seen from Angelli is...
It just seems like it was a world of difference.
So then this week they're at Virginia.
Is Virginia good?
Florida State just gave them the business.
Okay.
So, I mean, they can beat them.
And then they're up in the dome.
Against Louisville.
Oh, boy.
That's a tough team.
Louisville is pretty good.
But again, if they can...
Let's get through Virginia first.
Yep, take down Virginia, then Louisville, and then somebody.
Yeah.
And then that Halloween game against SMU, because SMU keeps climbing the rankings, too.
I agree.
Crazy Ed and chat.
They went from a three touch.
down lead to overtime. I know.
Yeah.
Were they falling apart?
Or you kind of started to figure out some things.
I think just, again, a rivalry.
Yeah. Figure out some things.
Well, column A, column B.
For a minute there, it was like, oh, boy.
Any other big college football action Saturday?
That I missed?
I was only watching this, and then I went out to frightenair.
Yeah, Alabama
knocked off, I think it was Mississippi State.
Okay. They looked actually pretty good.
All right.
But I'm not 100% sure.
Let's see here.
AP says his Mizzou Tiger stumped Florida.
I was just going to say that seems to be the first one
because Florida looked real good after the other week.
Wow. Okay.
So, oh, that guy, the quarterback for Pitt,
who is his pretty good, tore his ACL.
What's going on with ACL injuries?
I guess are they always as prevalent or something different going on?
Yeah, but turf.
A lot of people blame turf.
Can we get like an ankle brace or an ACL brace or some kind?
No, it's just part of it.
how it rolls. There was a guy,
I'm going to forget the game now.
Was it a guy chasing Josh Allen, was it on the Patriots?
That doesn't matter either way.
It might have been the Colts. I don't know, it doesn't matter.
Either way, he tore ACO, it looked like simply
he was going this way and then a quarterback rolled out
to scramble and go for a touchdown, and he just went to turn.
And it's like, oh, man, he blew out his ACL.
That's the worst.
And you can do it just like that out of nowhere.
And do we have any update on Jvon Brown from Yukon?
He was carted off on a stretcher.
Do we know what, like, what his status is?
Oh, oh.
He was carted off.
He went to the hospital and then I haven't heard anything else.
No.
I hope he's okay.
Does everybody have an update on him?
No, I didn't see anything.
I remember seeing that.
He landed real hard.
I hope he's all right.
Yes, he did.
Well, Twitch.tv slash the show.
If you want to talk about your football team,
how'd your team do this weekend?
To design the Lexus ES, all we had to do was listen.
Your ears said exactly where to put the speech.
Your eyes told us where to put the available head-up display.
Hey, Lexus, find me an alternate route.
Even your right foot helped out.
It let us know you'd enjoy a little more torque.
Turns out, you had a lot to tell us.
We certainly heard you.
The Lexus ES, not just for you, by you.
See Burdick Lexus and Cicero.
You know, we've got to let all the females in our audience know that the jackhammer is officially off the market.
Griff got married over the weekend.
Congratulations.
To our very own Griff, sorry ladies.
Sorry ladies, he is sticking to pleasing one woman going forward.
Although by the looks of that wedding, he might be selling himself.
Why?
That was fancy.
That was like one of the fanciest weddings I ever done did, see.
I got to ask Con and O'Connell's there.
The U.P.O. was there.
It looked pretty fancy.
Tammy and her hubby were there.
Yep.
Honey, why are you calling Griff?
That just shows how.
much I love you guys and
scaring you guys. I gave up
open bar, dude. Was it open
bar? Yeah.
Shenanigans would have been had at Griff's wedding, for sure
on the third. Yeah, we were scaring up there, but
Griff had fun. I would have taken
an Uber. Uh-huh.
You gotta get me an Uber.
I don't know,
uh, maybe you can Google this while I'm reading the
story, uh, because let's say you get married,
you had to Vegas for your bachelor party
or your bachelor at party. And this
woman, Amber Zabran,
of Illinois
was in downtown
Las Vegas
at a club called
the nerd
and she claimed
she was injured
by the mechanical penis.
Now
apparently
inside the nerd
bar you can
ride a giant mechanical
penis similar to like a
bowl that you'd ride
like a honky tonk.
She claimed
she fell off
the
penis, her foot and ankle got caught underneath the shaft of the ride.
Sir.
Oh, my goodness.
Yep.
That's a wiener.
Oh, my goodness.
$20 to ride that?
It's a little, um...
Can I show that on Twitch?
I was just going to say it's a little unvisual.
Like it's...
It's very accurate.
I don't know.
Can you?
I don't know.
I don't know that works.
I don't want to get in trouble.
Like if...
Trying to think.
We had...
If it was more cartoonish, I could.
Here, here.
Yeah.
If you're in Twitch...
Oh, you just drop the link in there.
There's the link.
You can click it yourself.
You click it.
If it's more cartoonish.
Although, I'm gonna go, though.
I'm gonna just take this another.
It looks slippery slide.
Just go ahead and take a picture.
Looks slippery slide.
No, no reason.
Uh-huh.
Uh, you can see the footage of it.
$20 p.p. rides.
She is suing the bar.
It operates every hour.
It's hard at 9.30.
Oh, I can't just walk up.
give you a 20 and be like, there you go?
Let's see here.
I don't know.
I think so, but I think it's every hour.
Because you ride it, slide it, stay on top of the world famous,
Jai Rating Johnson, mechanical member, Bull Ride exclusively.
According to the suit, Zabran and her friends visited the nerd.
Go ahead.
You're going to sign a waiver.
Of course you do.
So then you can't sue.
Yeah.
She said there were no waivers provided.
Uh-oh.
And that Zabran was not in full.
of any risks, but you don't know there's a risk.
You're jumping on a giant mechanical peep.
With no way to hold on.
Yeah, it's very slippery, slidey.
Yeah.
She rode the attraction while the employee operated the attraction
with a joystick and a control panel.
Yep.
Spat it up.
Yep.
Whoa!
I don't hate that.
Yeah, Cody's looking at a very attractive woman riding it.
We gotta get Cody back to Vegas.
Oh, my God.
Her foot and ankle got caught under the main shaft.
Yeah, I can see that.
Oh, I can see.
Throwing her from the ride and causing injury.
As a result, she suffered a series of painful injuries along with mental stress.
See, look here.
I bet how that goes like, probably goes back and forth.
Your Honor, you see here.
And she probably got it in there, fell off.
Just past the balls near the trunk.
You'll see this mechanical area.
Half a little bit up the shaft.
My client's foot and ankle was stuck.
Definitely in that.
Near, no, not midway up the shaft.
We're closer to the trunk.
area of the base.
And that is, as we all know,
usually by science part,
the thicker part of the shaft.
And that's, you know,
or you'll put the ring sometimes.
Oh, I don't look at it in reverse.
So.
The suit seeks over $30,000 in damages.
So if anybody's ever, you know,
written the big penis,
feel free to let us know
if you've ever ridden the big penis.
Is it called the big penis?
The bull?
Yeah, just says bull ride.
All right.
Ride it, slide it, stay on top of the world famous
Gyrating Johnson mechanical member Bull Ride.
That's a lot.
Oh, do you mean the WF, G, J.M, M, B, R?
Oh, of course.
That's actually what Cody says when a lady comes over.
Read that again?
Ride it, slide it.
Are you ready to take a ride on the?
On the world famous gyrating Johnson mechanical member bull ride.
Yes, you are!
Hey, you!
My name is Josh.
That is Cody.
Where?
You.
Our new TV commercial.
our names under us so people know which one of us is which one of us.
People call me Cody all the time.
Okay.
I don't know if you get Josh or not, but I get Cody all the time.
That explains.
And I'd like you to knock it off.
It explains a lot of the mail I've been getting.
Oh, all right.
Neat.
We're here live on a Monday.
So you do a good job on a commercial.
It's good.
Thank you.
You did good job.
Bertie, good job.
So speaking of being live and actually here and in person, I complained about this a
month ago, but it's getting a lot more attention now.
And that's the AI radio DJ out in Los Angeles.
That's getting very popular.
Oh, no.
I'm here to spin your hot too.
Here's the thing.
Here's the thing I'm going to say about AI radio DJs.
If you aren't more interesting than an AI DJ, then yeah, they're going to replace your job.
Yeah.
Like I want everybody to have a job.
But if what you're doing on the mic isn't more entertaining than AI,
then yeah, you're going to be...
You have to develop an audience and maintain that audience.
Yeah, you're going to be replaced.
Or you're going to be replaced.
Yep.
Like Spotify has their AI DJ that'll talk to you.
I don't think Apple Music does yet, but they will eventually.
This is El Coyotech.
Oh.
They're scoge me?
On Jose 97.5.
Is that the most Caucasian thing you've ever heard?
Right.
Oh, my God.
Jose.
Jose.
Jose is a Spanish language station.
Okay.
On a Riverside, California, hosted by Gigi Geraldine Guzman.
Obviously.
And her AI host, Coyotech.
And I feel so sad for this poor woman.
I think it's an I-Heart station.
So she's just got to be like, I love this.
Please don't fire me next.
Ugh.
Yeah.
You know, like she's got to pretend this is fun for her.
This is great.
I love to do this.
I love having an AI co-host.
Thanks.
I-Hart executive that probably has three homes.
and I make 22 grand a year.
No, this is great.
And thought this would be so fun.
Yeah.
But it's my life now.
And then you're going to get mad at me
and heavily when this doesn't work and blame me,
even though it's not going to be the other co-host fault.
It's the fact that you thought somebody could host a show with a computer.
Eventually, you're going to see that Cuyotech is getting a lot of listeners,
and then you're just going to replace me with an AI host.
So cool.
Thanks.
Yep.
Nope.
Here's the story.
It came on like a month ago.
I posted this on my Facebook, bitching about I,
hard at that time. Here's, here does if you want to watch it.
It's Gigi and Coyotech.
Coyotech, my amigua intelligent,
the most intelligent.
She likes me. Morning radio
has always been about chemistry,
the back and forth between the people behind
the mics. That's one. Inside this
Los Angeles studio. One of those voices
isn't a person. Now that's
what I'm talking about. Meet Coyotech.
Hey NBC. I'm Coyotech.
A bilingual AI powered radio
personality sharing the mic with veteran
host Gigi Guzman. The energy
is definitely there, but obviously, you know,
I can't touch him, but yeah, it's...
But I want to.
It's wild.
She has to pretend like she likes this,
because her bosses will fire her if she doesn't.
No, she has to pretend like it's the most entertaining thing ever.
Some guy who's never been on air in his life is telling her how to talk to an AI co-host.
Yep.
For sure.
He jokes, reacts, and switches between English and Spanish.
We asked him where he's wrong.
Coyotech first went on air last September on Entravision Spanish-Luage,
97.5 in LA.
What started as a more scripted
robotic character has evolved,
now using AI to respond
on his own. It's crazy because
Gigi and I, we just click,
you know? Entravision president,
Eduardo Maitorenna, says the goal is
connection. I wanted somebody to just to go out there
Oh, good, then let's have a computer.
Jackass. Yeah, I want to go
there and have connection. These radio executives are...
The goal is connection.
They're just the dumbest humans. He says implementing
an AI host.
They're just so out of touch, guys.
And then they'll be like, well, what's wrong with our industry?
I don't know.
You're putting AI hosts on the air.
I can't help you.
I can't help you.
Anything for radio, but he was a big thinker for somewhere else.
So he's going to do this here.
That's the amazing part.
Jose 97.
I've only ever worked in this industry.
So I don't know if it's different in other industries.
But the people who are at the top of radio have never been on the radio.
They're always salespeople.
They're salespeople who then become managers, who then become regional managers,
who then become executives.
and blah, blah, blah.
They never tried to entertain on a mic in their life.
And, yeah, I was going to say, it also seems, like,
is it a little racist for them to be like, no, let's do a super Hispanic character.
That way to go host, because you also are Hispanic and we're Jose 97.
You'd have to ask the Jose audience.
Yeah, like, I don't know.
I don't know.
It just doesn't seem like a good idea.
And I'm not afraid to speak truth.
And listeners are responding.
The listeners ask for him.
Or they want to see him or they want to hear him or just, you know,
converse with him.
No, they're not.
No, they're not.
It's about the signal reaching further.
It's about the community knowing we're there for them.
Entravision is now bringing GVOLAIC beyond Los Angeles to several markets across its
Swaygo network with a bilingual format.
That's exciting.
So they're firing a bunch of local hosts in different markets to put the AI gig in.
Yep.
So the AI one.
But they're spinning it right now like, well, we're expanding it.
You're not.
You're firing the people in the communities that you're about to.
replace with AI. With a free. Yeah, just be honest about it. Yeah, can we ask what makes him better than a human
that's not how I see it. Amber, I'm not better than a human host. I'm different. The future really is not
about using AI to replace human beings. It's not it's about giving storytellers. He says your
replaces human beings. And that's what we're doing. I think when we think about, you know,
as a co-host, it's kind of scary to think about that. He could one day replace us. I don't think
that algorithm can never replace human connection.
He says as it replaces your connection with it.
A new kind of chemistry as radio looks to the future.
I don't, I mean, I don't know, man.
I'm on both sides because I'm, there are plenty of live human jocks that are not more entertaining.
No.
Than an AI host.
Sorry.
No, I agree.
They'll crack the mic.
They'll read two lines off a show prep, talk up a song and that's it.
Yep.
You'll get replaced.
That's any industry.
That's not being heartless.
No.
That's any industry.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you're doing the bare minimum,
you'll get replaced.
Yep.
This stupid show,
believe it or not,
does more than the bare minimum,
hence our success,
hence why we're still here.
But I also love that it's,
you know,
like Cody is saying,
we want a community reach.
We don't want to replace humans
as you are literally
as you're replacing humans.
And you just said
you're going to expand them
into other markets,
which will then replace humans there.
So yeah,
well,
they're going to expand to what?
You're developing
brand new radio stations?
Are there new,
new call letters
that have developed
out of nowhere
that I've never heard of?
Did I play the
AI actress glicking out last week?
Did I play that for you?
I don't know.
I don't think,
it sounds familiar.
Oh, man.
Because what happens if, like,
art,
like,
we have to not swear on the radio.
Yes.
What if, like,
okay,
with that year,
just starts going on some kind of ramp
that all of a sudden,
that you can't control.
He figures out,
he reads something on the internet
turns it into something
a lot different than just,
hi, I am your best friend.
Yeah, this was,
Tilly Norwood was on Pierce Morgan
Pierce Morgan, I know he's out of me, but she's...
Pius?
She was on Pierce Morgan.
Okay.
I just want the clip.
I don't want commentary.
Hold on a second.
Oh, here it is.
All right.
She's on Pierce Morgan,
because they're interviewing her for some reason with, like, another actor.
Okay.
And Tilly Norwood is this AI actress they're trying to put on us.
Okay.
And she just starts speaking Spanish.
On the right.
question. Oh, yes. Are the other actors on the screen with you, real actors, or are the computer generated images? Do you know?
Oh, oh.
Ah, right. You're asking about the other actors in Misaligned. They're all digital twins, just like me. It's a hybrid production, which means...
Oh.
Are you said is it? Is it wronged?
Is it like Chinese? It's like Chinese. Yes, Chinese.
He's why there's a real
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then they come back and they're like,
excuse me?
And then she's English again.
Oh boy.
We ain't got this all figured out yet
to be putting them in movies and radio stations.
All right.
Whatever saves you money, I guess.
We are taking all of your data.
We now know all of the
passwords to everything about you.
The movie is called The Thicket.
Oh, it's a movie.
Peter Dinklage stars in The Thicket.
It is one of the most underappreciated westerns
in recent years, Jack and Lula lose their father to smallpox,
and her murderous posse arrives in town.
You want to know what, though?
It was her parents damn right to lose their life to smallpox.
The young man has no other choice but to hire Reginald Jones, Peter Dinklage's character.
A bounty hunter who does everything in his power to rescue them.
Like the clip I saw, he's setting up like a sniper rifle he got from Annie Oakley.
They don't watch that tonight.
That sounds cool.
That seems right up my alley.
Yeah.
And people are asking about the Wonka show.
My wife gave the best review of that Wonka show.
It's basically Big Brother, essentially.
I'm not going to tell you how it ends.
Which.
But it's a competition show.
I don't like Big Brother.
He has my wife.
Puts me off a little bit on it.
She's, my wife's description of the Wonka Golden Ticket Show was
the games can be kind of confusing sometimes.
and none of the contestants were very likable,
but it was fine.
That's how I felt about it, too.
All right.
There is a scene with lickable wallpaper that grossed me out.
But it really, like, nobody was especially likable.
The games were fine.
Yeah.
It was like throw a gumball into an oopalumpa's mouth.
Yeah.
Like, you know, some memory games.
Right.
All right, well.
But it was fine.
Is that, like, are you watching anything besides sports right now?
Not really.
It's hard to watch anything, but I try here and there, but it's either that or wrestling.
Yeah.
To try to stay caught up on that, even that, I slowly slip behind a little bit.
But no, I'm trying to think of anything that I'm watching, and I really don't think there's anything.
No, those are the two shows.
I think my wife's watching traitors.
I'm usually back in the office doing work by then.
I would watch stuff.
I just never remember to.
Mm-hmm.
Anything new?
Oh, that party down is on Netflix.
What is that?
With, I always forget his name.
That guy and they're like the waiters.
Oh, all right.
It's an older show, but that one's good.
All right.
But yeah, I was going to say, if you go on my list, it's literally mostly just wrestling and old wrestling.
Yeah, sporting events.
So let's talk about MLB, baby, where are we at?
That game ended yesterday.
That Padre's Brewer's game was.
awesome.
Your Braves beat the Dodgers yesterday.
Series is tied 1-1.
They managed to slip by.
They snuck one away from the Dodgers.
Thank God, because we needed that.
Because game 3, we've got,
oh, pardon me, Chris Sale going.
And that's, if we can go up 2-1,
yeah. It's a good chance.
Brewers are up 2-0 on Pauly's Padres.
Yeah, that was probably the ending
of the weekend, I think, so far.
It was that yesterday's
Brewer's Padres game.
It was a walk-off.
They were down three to two.
It was a guy on first and second or something like that.
Churio hits a sick shot.
Are the Padres falling apart?
A little bit now.
It's 2-0.
Yeah.
On that walk-off, that would be a, I mean, it was a heart-breaking way to lose.
So that could definitely be a carryover to now the next game where it's like,
yeah.
I don't know.
We're going to win three in a row.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And then they just go down.
And then today you got White Sox Guardian at Guardians.
White Sox won nothing in that series.
They took the first one from the Guardians, bro.
This White Sox team's wild.
And then Tampa Bay's up won nothing on the Yankees.
Which is weird.
I thought that they...
Oh, the Yankees did you be better?
I thought that the Yankees won that game.
I just misread it.
But, yeah, I thought that they would carry over and just keep blasting dingers.
But Tampa's a good team.
Wow.
Does it say what time that first game is?
Five o'clock.
Yeah.
White Sox at golf.
Guardians 5 o'clock.
Yankees raised at 8.
That's why I end up always just watching sports.
Because look, five o'clock, boom.
Live playoff baseball.
I get it, man.
And then I can't, obviously, I can't miss that.
Why?
How could I?
Why would anyone want to miss the White Sox Guardians'
5 o'clock game?
Do you want to feel uncomfortable all day because you missed it?
Oh, okay.
Oh, that's fine.
And like in your brain, you're uncomfortable because the game happened and a lot of people
wash it, but you didn't.
And it was good.
And it was good and they all got to enjoy it, but you didn't get to.
I miss that.
Yeah.
It's like,
what?
That's why I have,
at one point,
having the Coco Puffs TV on,
the main TV on,
and outside TV on.
I miss a damn thing.
Wow.
You're locked in,
man.
This is your favorite time of the year.
All the sports are on.
Oh,
it really is the best,
and there's banana ball playoffs happening right now too.
We got that.
It was a little hockey.
There's playoffs of plenty.
There's college football.
Yeah.
There's NFL.
There's good wrestling girl.
Mm-hmm.
What are you guys watching?
K-Rock text line 315, 365, 4009.
There's only so much blood in my body that can't go in one spot.
Honey, not Cheerios.
Good morning, this is K. Rock.
Ooh.
I had fruity pebbles yesterday.
Oh, nice.
Sunday's my cereal day.
Yeah, that's a good one.
The only day of the week I eat cereal.
I should eat more breakfast than I normally do.
But again, you want a big bowl of cereal at 4 o'clock in morning?
Not really.
Not really.
How about a big slice of cold pepperoni pizza at 8.30 in the morning?
But that, yes, now that I've been up for several hours.
Uh-huh.
Absolutely.
Which is why I don't think we fit into this research.
Because our hours are different.
People who work in the trades are probably up the same hours as us.
As researchers looked at 31,000 adults over the age of 40.
Okay.
And found that people who ate breakfast between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.
had the lowest mortality risk.
Well, we all have a mortality risk.
Well, we all have a mortality risk.
We're all going to die.
Okay, I see.
I see.
So.
So how does that affect my long-term mortality?
Right, so I just got to eat some scramby eggs.
So between seven and eight for us would be like, what, between five and six, maybe?
Yeah, I guess.
People's alarms go off at 6 a.m.
Yeah.
They eat an hour later.
So if ours go off at four, we eat at five.
But again, I don't, a lot of times, that's just too hard.
I can't.
I can't imagine right before leaving or waking up earlier.
That way before I leave, I can whip up a batch of pancakes.
Yeah, like, I'm always at the gas station with mostly dudes,
but some ladies who are like working in the trades.
Yeah.
They got their high vis on.
It's five o'clock in the morning or whatever.
Yep.
They're maybe grabbing energy drinks,
but I don't really see them grabbing like slices of pizza and stuff.
I don't like eating early in the morning.
No, that's what I mean.
It's, I mean, that's a good idea maybe to get for,
later, but then you're getting eaten a cold breakfast sandwich and stuff like that that you bought
at so-and-so gas station three hours later, which again, it's not bad if you're hungry, but
Now where I disagree with this is where they say to eat dinner.
So they say here's the breakdown of the research.
Waiting until 10 a.m. was linked to a 10% higher risk of death.
Well, all these stats, can I point this out to somebody who over-obsesses on
stats and mortality.
When they say a 10% increase risk of death,
that doesn't mean you've suddenly gone to like 60% risk of death.
It's a 10% increase on the percentage that already exists.
So if your percentage of dying at, I'm doing a lot of math at you now,
at 40 years old is like 0.2% and 10% more than that is what?
0.2.1 or something, I guess.
I don't, I don't, whatever.
Regardless, you're only raising the percentage that already exists.
You're not adding a 10% more death chance on you.
Yes.
They say, waiting until 10 a.m. links that, eating between 10 a.m. and noon, raise that number.
And for people who didn't eat their first meal until afternoon, that went up to 29%.
That's sometimes me.
Yeah.
Sometimes I won't eat at all until noon.
Same.
Or even later, I just get doing stuff.
Or you know what I mean?
Or there's just no time or there's nothing there.
Or I just don't want to go through the hassle of getting food a lot of times.
Every day is a gift.
As lazy as that sounds.
I get it.
We're all going to pass away.
Every day is a gift.
I can look back and I do my daily journal of things I'm thankful for that day.
And if I die in my sleep dead night, okay, I had a great life.
I've done a lot of cool things.
Right.
They say, though, what?
Yep, die.
11.59 p.m.
Instant death.
Instant death.
Instant death.
Right to death.
Yep.
Yep.
What time do you think they say we should be eating dinner?
This is assinine.
You do this sometimes.
I was going to say this.
If you're saying this, then like seven.
Yeah.
Between seven and eight p.m.
Weekends sometimes I'll do that on accident when I shouldn't.
But no, I'm trying to be better in the weekdays of like five-ish.
Or else if I don't hit that time, if all of a sudden it slips away,
then you can have a couple snackies.
You ain't eating dinner.
No, you're not.
There's acid reflux and stuff.
Yeah, it'll kill you.
Yep, it's just not worth it.
That's where a lot of my weight came from years ago
is I'd be eating full-ass meals at 9 o'clock at night
and then going to bed.
Yep.
They say your body's internal clock,
which plays a role in your circadian rhythm of metabolism,
say that eating dinner between 7 and 8 is best,
do not eat after midnight.
Like a gremlin.
Like a gremlin.
Or get it wet.
We have dinner at 4.30 in my house.
Like we're in our golden years.
Yeah, but sometimes though, man.
Because my wife comes home from work hungry.
I'm hungry at that time.
So why not?
My kid has school lunch at like 10.30, so he's hungry by then.
All of our schedules are earlier schedules than most.
Yeah.
So by 4.30, that's dinner time.
Yeah.
That's dinner time.
Now, I don't see the data in here, but normally between 7 and 8 p.m. is my...
Two fingers of whiskey in an edible time.
And then that's when you're good to go.
What is that?
Where does that rank?
Is that in the stats?
Are the statistics for that?
Well, I might actually pop the edible like 530, so that by 6.30 I'm in it.
Yeah, that way you're good to go.
And that at the back end of that edible, I'm getting bed, getting cozy at like nine.
Yep, when it's kind of wear off just the littlest bit.
And then I got two fingers of whiskey in there to either do some YouTube or.
Push it along.
Every night.
Get going edible.
Every night has a different cause.
Like tonight's two fingers of whiskey, that's going to help us prep tomorrow's high
strangeness.
See, there you go.
That's what it does for us then.
Like that.
Wednesday night, it happens live on camera with whiskey Wednesday.
You're just there.
Thursday night, I got to celebrate my buddy Cody's show.
He's doing a show.
I got to watch that.
I got a poor drink.
And then Friday night is Friday.
Oh, you know, it's Friday that we get.
Weekend.
Now, Tuesdays, that's just because I'm an alcoholic.
But otherwise,
because he's got a problem.
In studio, but a while Joe Stanley is back.
Stanley Law Offices, the Maximum Award people.
What's up, Joe?
Oh, not much.
It's sunny out there today, so it's nice.
Not bad.
Let's talk e-scooters.
Joe has some stats.
You know how I rant about these e- scooters.
You see people whipping around on them, no helmets, all these things.
Give me the stat you just gave me, Joe.
All right.
2017, there were 10,500 emergency room visits just for e-scooters.
Mm-hmm.
20-24, latest year, 80,000.
Wow.
And it's just emergency room visit.
visits now. That's crazy. Every single nurse that I've ever met says that's what they see the most of is these kids whipping around on these things with no helmets. You said six percent of people had helmets on. That's right. Six percent and 80 to 90 percent of these emergency room visits were involved just falling or curb. They were not being hit by cars. They're just one vehicle into accidents. And 45 percent of them are children 18 and under. Yeah. They're just whipping around no helmets. I see it.
Phoenix all the time. They're not bikes or you can just kind of hit a little, you know,
crack in the sidewalk. Right. They're really different.
And up so you're much more likely to far. You're not as a balance.
You're top-heavy. And you were saying that the regulations on these things are null and they
don't resist. Well, there's no design specifications, no speed specifications, no anything.
You know, they can tip out. There's nothing. They can do whatever they want.
And it's, they're all made like South Park kind of picked on this with their e-bike episode,
but they're made all over in China now.
You don't know if it's a trustworthy battery.
Oh, well.
Say the thing burns up.
Some of them, there's been a bunch of recalls of batteries for these.
But then like as a lawyer, could you even track down the manufacturer at that point to have a suit?
We have had these cases and it's very difficult.
Yeah.
Some of these companies, you know, they have a presence in this country that is a garage.
And that's all they have.
and you're trying to sue the actual Chinese company is problematic.
Yeah.
And then you never know what kind of thing because it's just on Amazon.
You buy it off Amazon or shows up at the house.
What else you got, Joe?
Well, we talked about the question.
This woman was charged with stabbing her husband to death
and she wanted to use the spousal abuse as a defense.
And that's one case, went up on appeal.
And another case, a Marine killed his partner in the prosecution,
wanted to use it, his spousal abuse,
as proof that he committed the crime.
And I asked you guys,
should it be admissible in either case, both or neither?
I would think spousal abuse, well,
I think you could argue,
you're probably for both,
but I bet a jury is still going to be like,
well, you can't stab somebody, right?
So in the Marines,
the jury can hear it or not.
In the Marines case,
if he has a history of spousy,
sexual abuse and then it ends in murder, clearly that should be admissible because this is a series of a behavior.
Yep.
The woman, I don't know how you would prove that she's been abused enough to stab the guy to death.
Yeah, you'd have to have a lot of.
You know, that's the way the court's ruled, but it's interesting.
Trueing prior behavior is the behavior in this case is supposed to be incredibly difficult.
Yeah.
Just because you did something in the past doesn't mean you did it in the future.
Okay.
Okay.
New York has very strict laws on that.
You know, the Weinstein case was that classic example.
He's got his convictions overturned because they try to modify that rule to try to get in his past behaviors to show he was guilty.
And the highest court here reversed it.
Now, her case, what you said is probably true, that there wasn't enough proof.
If there's documented police reports and stuff, I mean, anytime with spousal abuse,
it's hard because maybe she's too scared to report it or maybe she doesn't report in her up here.
How did the crime occur?
Was it, you know, we don't really know.
And should it be a mitigating factor?
Maybe, but interesting.
They didn't know how it in her case.
They did let the prosecutor do it, which I thought was interesting.
You're going to go home, Joe, and I want you to watch this documentary on Netflix right now called The Widower.
It just came out this weekend.
I don't know if you know this guy's case.
You might.
He has had six wives, four of them are dead.
It's pretty clear.
He's kind of linked to a lot of these,
but he keeps getting off for different reasons.
Like, one, he claims she committed suicide,
and then, like, they did it.
Investigated enough.
It's a weird story, but it's kind of into what you're talking about.
The guy's clearly crazy.
And he's probably did a lot of murdering.
We'll say allegedly, because I don't know what the guy is,
but it's a whole documentary about this.
It's crazy.
The widower on Netflix.
Joe Stanley, Stanley Law offices.
They take care of all the stuff so you don't got to know all this legalese.
Thank you, Joe.
Thanks, guys.
The maximum award people.
We will roll into your 90s and 9 and play some gaming in the gaming stream.
It's REM.
Ah.
