Starting point is 00:00:00 We interrupt this program. Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish. They are not part of the legitimate business world. What they do is they celebrate underachievement. And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil. And if I could find some way constitutionally to do away with it, I would. Look at these scumbags. It was going to be a double.
Starting point is 00:01:10 I think we can agree. Mason was not connection. Oh my God. Do you score Lombard or not? I will just say this. I would because that ball, there were two out of us. The ball was in the air forever. We got Steve Bartman 2.0, Coco, last night.
Starting point is 00:01:29 That's a rough situation. Wow. is man. Yep. Yep. I mean, overzealous, bro. Don't be reaching over. You gotta know when you're in those spots. Not now. You can reach up, not over. Up. It's not hard. Not out. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Out, not out. Yeah. We'll get into all the MLB action from last night. That's the most drama. Coco's Braves getting knocked out. Yeah, most people, it was the night of three people starting vacation and the The Cleveland Guardians prolonging their season. Yeah. Weirdly, I don't know, that series is behind everybody else by a whole game.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah, I don't know why. He'll play today, I imagine. No, it was the very first one. Ahoy, hoi, dummy dumm-dums. It is a Thursday, you know what that means. That yesterday was Wednesday. Yes, it was. Also means cocoa puffs tonight.
Starting point is 00:02:42 You're busy tonight. You got a Dallas Cowan, Boy's game after your Cocoaup. Oh, Dallas Cowboy Thursday. Yes, you do. I'm sighted. I think it'll be, never mind. I don't even want to say it.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Don't even want to say it. Don't put it out there. Don't put any predictions in the universe. Be a good game with two teams of competitors. And really, it's the friends we make along the way, Cody. As long as they have fun. As long as everybody has fun, we get a little ice cream after. It's a wrap. Right.
Starting point is 00:03:12 It's a wrap. Maybe after the game you walk in the locker room. Maybe there's a foldout table set up with a bunch of pizzas on it. Did that happen a lot in football when you were playing? Every once in a while. It would be a pizza night. You'd get back in the locker room. Bruns pizzas!
Starting point is 00:03:27 Yo! Does she pizzas? And then you'd grossly stand there in your... Sweaty gross, yeah. And just house down pizza. And all of a sudden, four pizzas would be gone in two seconds. Well, a hooy, hoi, everybody. This is the show live on a Thursday morning.
Starting point is 00:03:42 I thought it was colder than it actually is. 54 outside right now, both Utica and Syracuse. No, not bad, dog. High is 64 today. Slowly creeping. Yeah. It's going to be gorgeous weekend, so we'll get ready for that. I still say we have one more 80-degree day in us.
Starting point is 00:03:57 You think so? I'm calling it. One more is left. I'll be able to do some fire pit chills, I think, this weekend. It looks pretty good outside. Yeah. Plus Saturday night. It'll be a night.
Starting point is 00:04:06 It's the S-U game at night. It's a 7 o'clock game. Oh, yeah. Keep free of that. By the fire. Next couple games. with them are evening games. Amput,
Starting point is 00:04:16 let it go bumo oh, hoi-hoi. Happy Thursday, that means tonight at 7 o'clock. You can pregame for that Dallas Cowboys match up. Oh, what are you thinking about that? Well, little cocoa puffs, brought to you by Joe's Buds on Anaga Boulevard, the show
Starting point is 00:04:39 Too Dangerous for Radio, because it's about the drugweeds. You can watch it on Twitch. Or the show.fm. Excuse me. For all of our links and live streams, as well as our daily podcast. We're going to have to go ahead and make a pan, pan, dmd rail, automatic emergency flight to carry a bone 7-777.
Starting point is 00:05:00 You won't come back now again? Flight diverted to JFK. I thought I heard something about a plane. An American Airlines flight from Madrid to Dallas must have been for the Dallas Cowboys game. Are they in Jerry's Roil tonight? I think so. They're all going to do the Cowboys game. I would imagine.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Had to make an emergency landing at JFK Tuesday. after six of the eight toilets stopped working on board the plane. When you think? Well, if they were coming from Spain and they went all the way over the Atlantic Ocean. That was their first chance to stop. JFK is probably their first airport. So they had a few hours probably with just two potties. Of the nastiest poopies.
Starting point is 00:05:39 For 287 passengers. You just got to be like, listen, nobody poops. No, hey. We understand. It's a terrible situation. It's the tour bus rule, but it was also the rule that you were going like on a school trip in the nice bus that you don't poop in the nice bus toilet. No, that. If you're like going down to the city to see a musical or something, I don't know what you sports kids did.
Starting point is 00:06:02 No, we didn't. Us musical kids would once or twice a year. You'd get the nice bus and you'd meet it this time of day. Yep. Like even earlier, five o'clock, you'd go to the school, be pitch black. Yep. You'd get on the bus. It had the carpet on the walls and the TV up in the ceiling.
Starting point is 00:06:17 You'd watch some weird musical Some movie Everybody had to watch the same movie They'll have to pretend you love the sound of music or whatever Because the theater teacher likes it Yeah Uh-huh I'm putting on Bestafasi
Starting point is 00:06:32 And then you would just You know hopefully get a little hand stuff under a blanket If you know what I'm talking about There was always stories of a couple of you weird Band or theater kids coming back And Oh we were so horny They didn't hand stuff on the bus
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah we were so horny They did? Yeah. They did. We did. A lot of us did. We were very, we might have been the song and dance kids, but we were very horny. That was the thing. You can't put any group of teams on a bus like that with time.
Starting point is 00:07:02 And you say supervised, but it was like one teacher at the front. No, it wasn't supervised. And the rule was, hey, you can do number ones in there. No number two. And then somebody always immediately did a number two. Yes, because there was always somebody that had to almost instantly. Yeah. You'd see him get up and be like, no.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Where are you going? I'm sorry. Sit down. I'm sorry. I'm nervous. I got nervous guts, dude. I'm sorry, I'm nervous. We had tacos last night.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Well, why are you doing this here? And now you can't wait. Now you have to wait until that person comes back to keep trying to do slow hand stuff. And the people who are like seated right in that back three. by the toilet. Thought it was going to be awesome. Oh my God, Bobby, you soft, man. They thought they were like,
Starting point is 00:07:50 Bag of the bus. No. No. Bobby's pooping. Tuesday night, six of the eight toilets aboard this plane, Boeing 77, carrying 277 passengers,
Starting point is 00:08:03 was left with just two functioning bathrooms. Gross. Equals out to about one toilet per 140 people. Pilot declared a pan pan, a signal that an urgent but non-life-threatening situation is happening. That's terrible. And that they needed to land in JFK. Now, for those you don't know, these planes, they plan for their flight,
Starting point is 00:08:28 meaning that if he wants to land in JFK, he's still overweight because he's got too much fuel. He had enough fuel to get to Dallas. Yeah. So if he's going to land early, the plane weighs too much. You know what I'm saying? Okay. Yeah, but so what? You could blow out the tires.
Starting point is 00:08:43 You could ruin the brakes. You've got the plane. It's this whole equation they do. Well, I guess we shouldn't have folded up that high. Well, they were planning to go to, they were planning to go all the way to Dallas until Bobby clogged all the toilets. It doesn't sound like they ain't playing too well.
Starting point is 00:08:57 The plane remained grounded for more than three hours before continuing on to Dallas. They say it was an air pressure system that malfunctioned. That's crazy. Corros. I can't imagine the smell of because, you know, it's hot. over there and different foods.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And there's probably a bunch of Texans who are on vacation in Spain, eating spicier foods than they're used to. Just pooping all over. Just going nuts. Go roast. Stella's selling showing us for lesbian colors. It is national. Knew it.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Shows lesbian now. It's National Lesbian Day. Yeah. God, how many days do you people get? I mean, you already got like three or four days. How many? What's heterosexual mandate? Right, lads go straight.
Starting point is 00:09:43 White Guy Day. I don't know if I would ever need to buy a stadium urinal for my personal collection. Where's our Nebraska fans? Nebraska, Nick, are you guys in here? Because the University of Nebraska selling their used urinals. The bills did this too. I'm just going to keep making this face, big frown. I don't like, I love a collectible as much as the next.
Starting point is 00:10:07 There's Nicholas. No. What are you going to do with like a urinal? Man. Unless you personally. also then install it as a urinal. Yeah. Which is still weird.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Nicholas says they are legendary. No, they're not, Nick. Nope. They're not legendary, Nicholas. I don't, I mean. I don't care how big of a fan you are of something. The urinals are not. That's where human waste has been going.
Starting point is 00:10:38 Now, a garage urinal will be pretty clutch, snuffy, but I got a little secret for you. If you're in the garage, You're almost outside anyways. So just go be outside. That's what I say. They're just troughs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:51 So we have. Same with the bills ones. They sold 40 troughs. So we have legendary dome troughs? That's what I'm saying. Like I. Okay. Because I love nothing more than standing next to an ex-old old guy that has his butt cheeks out.
Starting point is 00:11:05 We'll just have most of his old butt cheeks out. He does the old guy stretch. So it's just like, Yes, my weiner, as I pee. It's like, no, you hunch in, not out in. The University of Nebraska is selling used urinal troughs from the historic Memorial Stadium as part of its ongoing Big Red Rebuild renovation. The 103-year-old venue has cleaned the troughs.
Starting point is 00:11:37 They range from 72 to 96 inches long, way roughly 300 pounds apiece. And how much do you think a single urinal is going for, Cody? $500. $300.000. So not only you've got an extra $3,000, you're going to spend it on a urinal.
Starting point is 00:11:55 I can see it to benefits if you're like a very popular Nebraska sports bar. You know what? I'd give you that. Like if Dan from the Wildcat, he's a big Phillies fan. So say the Phillies were like, we're selling our urinals.
Starting point is 00:12:14 I could see him being like, I'm going to put one in at the Wildcat. Yep. And that would be the only exception is that you're making it a marketing gimmick. Yeah. Compi in the urinal from the old Bill Stadium or whatever. Right. But, yeah, I don't. I don't know if I can play this audio.
Starting point is 00:12:33 I don't about all that. Let me see if I can play this guy. We're partnered with the university and the Big Red Rebuild to bring together some of the most iconic memorabilia that's never been for sale. So items like the urinal troughs, seats, benches, signs, even artwork that's throughout the stadium is going to be available. So go to our website, which is buy gbr.com. So buy go big red.com.
Starting point is 00:12:57 Wow, Nicholas with a good burn, he said, unlike the bills, those urinals have them through five championships. Yeah, but five-time national championship urinals. But they're all from, it means pee. Yeah. It's all the human weight. It doesn't.
Starting point is 00:13:12 It's not like it's championship P. Seven of the, yeah, those are the fans. It's not the team heroes. I don't even care if it was. Seven of the 30 available units have already sold. Joe DePetro, the company helping facilitate the sales, says buyers must pick up the troughs themselves in Lincoln, Nebraska. Nicholas. He already got one.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Nicholas, go grab one while you're over there. He's already got one. Like I said, the bills ran a six. Similar promotions selling 40 troughs from the old Highmark Stadium at five grand apiece. Nose idiots bought every one of them. Wow. Wow. And like I always say, guys, lying is always an option.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Just put a metal trough in your garage and say, yeah, that's from the old Bill Stadium. Yeah. Look at that. No one's going to. No, it's not. I know. The pea troth. Yeah, I'm like, ah, and they get sounds like, uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Uh-uh. Now, look at the way this bends at the point. bottom. They didn't do that. Highmark had American standard toilets. I know that because I throw it up in them a lot. Wait, hold on. No, wrong kind of urinal cake smell.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah. No, can't fool me. Showgirl Fuzz is a good point in chat. The buyers should be investigated. I'm peeing in them down here right now. Like, you should be... Okay, hey. I bought two.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Hey, you want to buy a urinal for $3,000. Just do a quick Q&A. Just make sure you're not on any lists. Yeah, why? Yeah, why, though? How about this? What? Let me learn a little about you.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Do you have any questions about the urinal? There's got fresh pee in it. No, all right. Never mind. You're out of here. All right. You're out of here. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Not fresh pee, wait. Because, like, the weird thing. The weird thing. There's somebody. Is it like, you're all saying, all talking the urinals. Yeah. But mark my words.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I bet if you are like, we're putting up the women's toilets for auction, the level of money they'd make off of just the weirdest dudes. Like, okay, you're getting $3,000 for a urinal. I bet if you're like, here's the old Cornhusker women's room toilets, 50 grand, there's going to be crypto bros who would buy those. Or like, hey, sleep next to them. They renovated the locker room of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Here's their toilets. Yeah. Like, you want to be real. You want to be real. You want to make money. There's the weirdo. You got to go to the weirdo angle. Yep.
Starting point is 00:15:52 No. I don't like things anymore. Did they wash them? No, get out of here. No. To design the Lexus ES, all we had to do was listen. Your ears said exactly where to put the speakers. Your eyes told us where to put the available head-up display.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Hey, Lexus. Find me an alternate route. Even your right foot helped out. It let us know you'd enjoy a little more torque. Turns out you had a lot to tell us. We certainly heard you. The Lexus ES, not just for you, by you. See Burdick Lexus and Cicero.
Starting point is 00:16:31 7 o'clock, Twitch.tv slash the show or the show.com. Jump in. Get lifted. I get lifted. Brought you by Joe's Buds on an Aga Boulevard. And still, again, endless. Still new things to show. I still haven't gotten through.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Yeah, and these aren't even just things. Joe's Buds is the sponsor, but a good amount of products are just products that we are aware of in the... You'll see soon. In the industry out and about in the world, have you, other than in the morning show, have you shown off the lipstick yet on yours? Is that tonight? Nope. You keep teasing it forward because if you keep going forward with it.
Starting point is 00:17:09 Oh, my God. I hope I'm going about that. Then it's like... You know what I've been doing? I know. And then last week, you didn't even do it? I didn't again. Counts it's four.
Starting point is 00:17:19 That's big brain thinking, but. Twitch.tv slash the show. We're in chat right there. We were talking. All of your high school hustles, very impressive. Yeah. I got two kids that hustle. They like money.
Starting point is 00:17:34 And they like to make money in different ways. You know, my oldest did like a shoe cleaning business for a while. Yeah. They were doing art, like custom artwork for a while. Yep. Didn't they do art for you? You did art for you. Youngest has a couple of scams.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Like, Youngest will grind by like, he will, is it a ref? He'll ref like the community soccer games. Get paid for that. Or like the little kids basketball games, he'll ref those games. But then he has the hustle he's working on right now that I'm not going to say anything about. It's a pretty smart hustle. And then all of you were talking about your high school hustles. Who was it?
Starting point is 00:18:10 Grass Squatch. Grass Squatch would bring his Game Boy to school. when he was eight and charged other kids a quarter to play his gameboy. Yeah. You get around and then you pass it on. That's a smart hustle. It's such a good idea. That's a smart hustle.
Starting point is 00:18:24 What did Pudgy's wife say? She sold, oh, Pudgy's oldest daughter was selling name brand pads and tampons out of her locker. Made tons of money. Yep, that's a very good idea. Ladies, I got a lot of pads in here. I mean, it's terrible that those aren't just offered. I know. We learned they are offered, but they're the weirdest, most embarrassing, grossest ones available.
Starting point is 00:18:44 Yeah. What other hustles were coming through? Jojo with her cigarettes. Jojo's legit selling cigarettes in high school. Lotta got all sold a lot of weed in high school. I get that. Tax lines says I sold my dad's Playboys. I bet that's big money.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Are you kidding me? Absolutely. Yeah. Little kids would definitely be like, I'll tell you a dollar if I can borrow that. Can I just get a one page, please? I just don't borrow. Tax signs said I made money by making fake report cards for kids.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Oh. Smart. Well, I never thought of that. That's a good idea. I told the story a thousand times, but AJ and I, our proudest hustle was the pizza day. That is one of my favorite things.
Starting point is 00:19:25 When we were at homecoming parade, and everybody was setting up for homecoming parade, and they delivered all these sheet pizzas. But our school also sold pizzas for dollar a slice after school. So the market was used to paying a dollar per slice. Yeah. They didn't know this was free pizza because it was delivered, and AJ and I received it.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Yep. Dollar of slice, guys. Tons of money. Most profitable hustle we ever had. Yeah. No, I can't even imagine the excitement you would feel leaving school that day having just wads of cash. Tons of cash. And it was off school grounds because it was homecoming parade.
Starting point is 00:20:02 It's Friday. We were just somewhere at the floats. Yeah, we were just there. Sorry. I have the photo of that day in my phone somewhere. I got to post that. That's hilarious. What was the other one I just saw come in?
Starting point is 00:20:17 Tomato, I was selling burn CDs in Seventh Green. Oh, okay. So you would like make a custom mix CD? Or just... What bands do you like? Or just be like... Five bucks. I got the new Baja Men CD.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Mm-hmm. You want, you know, you want to hear it? You want to get a copy of it? Two bucks. Because that would be a good hustle. I mean, in the 1900s, that was a good hustle. But if you were more advanced in like 98-99, you could be like, I'll make you a CD of all your favorite
Starting point is 00:20:45 music. I used to do that. I'll put together a playlist for it. I used to make those. And then rip a CD. I had so many CDs of playlists. I'll put together whatever you like. Whatever you like. That was the best. And he could decorate them. Oh, I'll draw a little marker on there.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Tech sign. I used to do homework for money until they realized I was stupid too. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that's going to catch up to you. I did that with, in college, writing papers. Oh yeah, you would write papers for people Just because it was easy It would take a couple hours
Starting point is 00:21:19 And all of a sudden I banged out three or four papers You were just good at BS in and writing it out? Yeah, because it wasn't ever, I never, I made sure I wasn't like doing, you know, rocket science. It was communications paper. Yeah, just stuff that you're naturally good at. And it would literally like you said, you just BS because it was interpersonal communication
Starting point is 00:21:39 is different from interpersonal communication by different, different way, you know what I mean, all that stuff, and you would just go from there and all of a sudden you got $50,000. $80,000 to learn that, guys. Right. What did Pink say? Pink used to drive to the South Side by cases of 40s and then sell them at parties for $5 to $8 a piece.
Starting point is 00:21:57 That's a good idea. That's a good idea. That's a good high school. Text line also, I would steal beer for my job and then sell it at parties. Nice text line. Because back in the day, I mean, now there's 80,000 cameras all over. everything, but back, way back one, I'm sure it was way easier to just be like, hey, and I'm taking a grocery store, a convenience store.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Taking a couple cases here. Now, we only got six cases today. I don't know why your reports says 10. No, sorry. This is a big hustle tax line. I used to make fake licenses $200 for a fake ID. I remember. I never bought a fake ID.
Starting point is 00:22:32 I can't picture the person's face, but I can picture their room in Oswego and like them hunched over their desk. Making fake IDs. But yeah, but I went with somebody to get one because I didn't need it. And they paid for it? Oh, yeah. Yeah. And it looked pretty good.
Starting point is 00:22:50 I never used a fake ID. No. Because I didn't drink or anything in college. But to my brother's credit, he looked exactly like me. It worked out real well. He just used my expired ID and that got now. Well, that got us to where we are now, I guess. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Pax. I made money taping WWF pay per views and then selling them five bucks each. That's smart. That's good thinking. Back in the day, I absolutely would have bought one of those from somebody. I got this week's WrestleMania. Yep. Five bucks, you want it?
Starting point is 00:23:21 100%. Yes, I do. Yes, I do. What was the other one? Dunes. I drew logos of football teams or bands on people's lockers for money. That's a good idea too. Showgirl Lynn, I used to sell gum for 25 cents apiece in school.
Starting point is 00:23:38 I did. I gave a shout out to Tim Gravelding, who, who I grew up with, who at EJD had a whole stock of bubble yum bubble gum in his locker. That kid, you open the locker and you're like, whoa. The first time I ever had cotton candy bubble gum was from him. He got you on the dragon or whatever it's called. It had just come out. It was a new flavor.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Yep. And Tim had the whole, like, a whole shelf dedicated to bubble yum. And between class, you'd go buy a piece of gum off of them. And I was like, cotton candy, yes, I will. Speaking of that real quick, that gas station up by me that hits everything all the time, I just noticed the other day that they have several of those. What? Hubba bobble-bubbubbubilicious right next to the register.
Starting point is 00:24:18 I was like, all right, next time I'm going to have to get one of these. I love gum, dude. I got these weak teeth now, though. I got all these. I don't like those. I like the flavor of them for a minute. But no, I'm not a that guy gum. I like a minty gum.
Starting point is 00:24:32 Your mother's judging our listener. She says, it's nice to know your whole fan base are a bunch of felons. Well, Deb, you're the black widow, so glass houses. No one's ever come in and said they done did, killed nobody. Glass houses, Deborah. What other high school hustles did you guys have? And what's the high school hustle now? Is it like vapes?
Starting point is 00:24:49 Are kids like selling vapes? Yeah, I was going to say, I bet it's, yeah, geek bars and the such. Zanx and stuff. Just harder drugs. That sucks. That's a bummer. Yeah, we had someone like that too. That's bring it back a weird memory that I can't remember what it was.
Starting point is 00:25:07 But Cousin Jay knew somebody that saw. sold a row of those paid stickers for somewhere. Oh. And I can't. That's bringing back a weird. When you go to Kenny drugs, they put a paid sticker on your bottle. Somebody did that for something somewhere. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Yeah. That's, I'm remembering something like that too. That's a good hustle cousin, Jay. Yep. My buddy Sabrina, 30 years ago, stole a roll of those subway tickets. Remember when Subway would let you fill out? Yeah. Like the card, if you got like 18.
Starting point is 00:25:39 They ate stamps or whatever. And just saw it sitting there. Yeah, it was sitting by the register and they stole it and they all ate subway forever for free. Yeah. Because of that. And we like every day, be like, yeah, here's another one. Oh, this is beautiful. Text line.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I used to write poems for the other girls in school to give to their boyfriends. Oh. You're a poet laureate. Look at you. You're, uh, I used to grab 50 Pepsi crates. Hold on. I used to grab 50 Pepsi. $2 deposit on each have a friend return them.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Oh, so you were just taking the cans? The, no, those crates. Mm-hmm. The crates are worth things. Really? They have a $2 deposit almost? Yeah. You didn't know that. Milk crates.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Don't steal kids, don't steal. Yeah, that's why we have to, like we'd return. We're talking high school hustles. Like the milk crates, like when we would be done with them. The big blue ones that I envision, yeah. and then the guy would come back and haul them away to wrap around and take them back because yeah they're worth it. Showbrough on the text line. I was rather skilled at the five-finger discount so I would steal TI-85 calculators and sell them for half the price.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Remember when you needed to have the fancy calculator? Yeah. Don't worry. I thought ours did too and it's still brand new in the case. Yeah. Well, that's that. Because I guess your phone does all the same things now. That's what I was going to say that you.
Starting point is 00:27:09 probably you're right at that era of or that stuff started to come back to bite people in the ass where they would spend $80 on that, but it was right at that where you did, you needed it last year. Now, you know, sorry, there was a weird transition
Starting point is 00:27:25 you didn't need calculators like that anymore. I never know like... That can't be still a thing, right? I never know. Because he, listen, he's always working an angle, but we got like the sheet of, like our kids and our youngest is very smart. in like advanced math.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Yeah. So like freshman year we get the sheet. Here's what you need for math this year and on it. Was that expensive calculator. It's like. So we bought it and he has never opened it. Yeah. So either he's just not doing what he's supposed to be doing
Starting point is 00:27:53 or he can do it on his phone or Chromebook. I don't know. I don't know. I don't borrow that. Text line, my husband ran a casino in his basement. All right, guys. Now we're starting to dabble into, now we're getting a little bit out of silly high school hustles.
Starting point is 00:28:09 I like what we're doing here. And you're, just a teenager running a teenage casino in the basement. And no more bets. People returning things to service merchandise to get the money back. Dude. That was kind of the move, not to put bad ideas and people had.
Starting point is 00:28:26 No, no. You'd go out to the shelf and then you'd bring it back and be like, I don't have the receipt and then you'd at least get store credit. We used to have people at the chopper that, you know, the less fortunate, would show up with a receipt. and they would, and then, like, they would go and grab the item and then come back. I know what you're saying. And they'd be like, this is no good.
Starting point is 00:28:48 I got to return this. You'd be like, dude, this receipt is very obviously. I saw you come in with empty hands. Like, and you can see, like, this says transaction, like, you know, 1985 on it, bud. Look at Pax. WrestleMania 2000. I made $600 on that. And it wasn't even that good at WrestleMania.
Starting point is 00:29:08 It wasn't. Was it? A McMahon in every quarter in the main event. Well, I'm coming for you, Pax, because now I know that you stole from me. I gotta get you. What does that mean, tax line? I ran an underground bank. What is that?
Starting point is 00:29:21 What are you guys doing? Okay. I'm starting to agree with Dad. Are you just all Fallons listening to this? Yep. You're running underground casino's underground banks. Either Fallons or a bunch of drug users. Drug dealers.
Starting point is 00:29:36 Like, top text, I used to take the leftover whipped cream canisters from friendlies sell whipit hits to my friends at high school parties you know what i didn't know that's what that was i'm shutting down this show that we've all done whippets then i haven't you've never taken whipped cream and just done like that real quick in your kid and you're like whoa that's a whipit nope you didn't do that as a kid no i would eat the whipped cream i'd go upside down with it and eat whipped cream you never got a little extra after the air if i did it was unintentional i didn't know i was high that's what i'm saying that that's what i didn't know that's what that was it's just you're sucking in that whatever, probably death air is.
Starting point is 00:30:11 I had to explain, I had to explain to one of our kids, like, because they were seeing the canisters that people have. The nitrous. They're like, what are these canisters? And I go, those are drugs. It's nitrous oxide. Whoever's doing them or is killing their brain cells. And I got a bunch of those for Christmas that one year, but they're for your BB gun.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Yes, it is. Right? Is that those? Yep. Mm-hmm. Well, all right. Well, delinquents, I don't know what to do here. I mean, I guess we're all under watch lists.
Starting point is 00:30:35 Oh, you're all degenerates. Look at you all Yeah, Texline was doing payday loans I will loan you $100 today But next Friday you owe me $120 That's awesome though You're running payday loans for high schoolers Damn it that's impressive
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah, you all got Damn it that's impressive You all got hustles I like it And then you go out and run successful businesses as adults My brother was a shady bastard I guarantee he had some hustle You think so?
Starting point is 00:31:01 Yes I guarantee you my brother did and does probably I don't know what But I'm sure there was something Next line. Would you have to go to the guy's underground bank and then go to the underground garage casino? Yeah. It was like a whole high school GTA out there, apparently. It's like a South Park episode. It's just a little kid in the basement. How can I help you today?
Starting point is 00:31:20 What can I get for you? You're bothering me in the day of my older sister's a very beautiful day. What can I help you with today? I don't even picture it mafia side like that. I picture it like you were saying. Like, you know how when you walk up to the cage at a casino? It's just a 12-year-old. I'm breaking 100 today, okay? And here's your chips. Yeah, 24, 60, 800. Touchdown!
Starting point is 00:31:42 Good morning, everybody. Happy Thursday. You got a big Cowboys game tonight. Is it Cowboys Eagles? No, no, no, no, no, Cowboys, Bucks. Cowboys' Bucs. So I'll be the Bucs, you'll be the Eagles for our gaming stream today. No, I'm the Cowboys, you are the Bucking ears.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Thank you. My brain is a slosh. It's not going to be the best game for football fans. Why, are Bucks not good? Well, Baker Mayfield, who is a fiery guy, and I would have loved to have seen him try to be, you know, everyone hates the Cowboys go against him, but he dislocated his right thumb,
Starting point is 00:32:14 which is, I can't even imagine. So he's out for a minute. He's not doing that move. Sometimes guys do when they super wrap up their hand with an obnoxious thing. I saw I was just reading random things because that, and listen to the stuff because that's serious. I can get like this, you know, ESP and Syracuse, but like Tampa Bay.
Starting point is 00:32:32 And listen to the homers, yeah. I listen to the fan. The Cowboys want. all the time. What up, Tim, man. Baker already said that if it was his left, he would figure something out. But he can't with a throwing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:43 But no, it shouldn't be that great because usually everyone likes to tune in to watch those games because every other game is the, you know, the Cowboys, they're Super Bowl when you play in the Cowboys, especially a team like the Bucks. So let's talk some baseball as a lot of teams advanced last night. What do you say? You say some teams start their vacation last night. Started their vacation last night. Brewers over the Padres.
Starting point is 00:33:06 So the Brewers advance? Yep. My badrees. Although I did love that clip, but Tom DeLong, you see that clip? No. A bunch of you sent it to me as well. No, that was on too late last night. It was two nights ago, but obviously Blank 182 is from San Diego, and they're at Padres.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Oh, they were there. And Tom DeLong is there, and, like, all 40,000 fans were singing along to all the small things. I've seen that from... And he's, like, emotional about it. I've seen that during the regular season on, like, sports. or something. I like when a fella can show emotions, and I like that. No, that was honestly...
Starting point is 00:33:40 Brewers are good? Brewers are unbelievable. I didn't know if they would have the power to hang with the Padres. Yeah. Because low-key, I really thought that the Padres had a chance to finally end that drought. Mm-hmm. Because they're one of the only teams that have never won a World Series. Padres?
Starting point is 00:34:00 Banners. Oh, two teams in this building. Pauly and Alex's team. They're both longtime sufferers. I've seen both of those teams play, actually. Oh, yeah, you did. Look at me. I'm so baseball-centric.
Starting point is 00:34:13 And you saw the Yankees. Saw the Yankees. I saw the Raes. You saw the Raes who beat the Yankees. I saw Blue Jays. Oh, yeah. Who did the Mariners play? Mariners were playing the race that night we were there.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Oh, okay, yeah, yeah. Because I saw four teams this summer. Yes. I saw Mariners, Yankees. And then the Yankees were playing the Blue Jays because Meatball was on that team. And then I saw Tampa Bay play the Mariners. So Dodgers knocked out Cody's Braves last night. Yeah, it's just it's heartbreaking only because you watch them in the regular season.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Oh, Brewers are the number one of World Series either apparently. Taxline says. Oh, yep, that's another one. Go back to your Braves. They just, hey, they dominated the Dodgers all season. And watching the Braves randomly have the pitching staff problems that they did kind of sucked. but then it was then added on to by the fact that their best players were so bad this postseason that I am almost going to be okay when they inevitably trade Ronald Acunia Jr. this offseason
Starting point is 00:35:21 just because they can't go another playoffs of two for 17 and both of those two being singles and he's supposed to be your big hitter. Derek Jeter, your home runner, your, your, your, base. Steeler and he's done nothing. The other guys hit like 0.035, 175. Austin Riley went 0 for 13 this series. Like you can't do that. You were saying before he went live,
Starting point is 00:35:49 the Dodgers team is like a billion dollar team, right? You can't compete with that. Figured out those weird loopholes of how you can pay show Aetani. Later on. A billion dollars, but not paying him until 2034. Yeah, like down the road and all that. All those weird things. So I'm sure whoever the off season,
Starting point is 00:36:04 The last pitcher is the Dodgers will somehow find a way to pay him because, again, there's no salary cap. And that's one of the reasons that baseball is going to sit down to those tables this offseason and maybe strike. Guardians killed the White So it doesn't matter because they're like one game behind in the series. So they're only up 2-1 right now. Yep, now it's 2-1 White Sox. And I assume that that's today. I would imagine that they play today. The controversial call of the night.
Starting point is 00:36:31 Yeah, they play 8 o'clock tonight. controversial call as the Yankees got knocked out by the raise last night with a Steve Bartman 2.0 situation dude leaning right into I don't know much about sports but when I look out when I look out at the football field
Starting point is 00:36:50 ain't no fans within 30 feet of the action when I look out at a soccer stadium ain't no fans anywhere near the action When I look at a hockey arena, big old glass walls separating the fans, basketball, you can be courtside. You're close, but no one's jumping up. No one's really jumping up.
Starting point is 00:37:13 But when it comes to baseball, baseball fans are just allowed to be in the action. That's one of the things about baseball. And affecting plays. Yeah, they're just right all around there. And if you're going into like the stands foul ball style, it's okay. But you got to know if you're a fan. When you can interrupt and interject yourself, in this kind of action, a game deciding hit.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Here it is. Hold on a second. He ball get. Flip the ABS challenge system. High fly ball. Hold on a second. My screen has to refresh. Rebo.
Starting point is 00:37:47 Still showing my photo from before. No, when you get those seats, you have to know that there's situations you have to be aware of that could happen. Yeah. Like you almost are taking on a responsibility. when you're there. Because you think you're going to catch a home run ball at a playoff game. Blayoffs.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Because you remember how those entitled douchebags from a couple years ago that ripped the ball out? Yes! And they were like, You got a job when you're a Yankee and your friend It's always Yankees fans. Why is it always Yankees fans?
Starting point is 00:38:25 Right? But you got, yes, you have a job. Uh-huh. He was right and wrong to know that you got, You have a job to stay the hell back if there's going to be a situation. I would be heartbroken for life if I know that I just cost my team a home run that would have tied the game and now they got eliminated thanks to me. He's like this guy has to move now, right?
Starting point is 00:38:49 You can't go to any more games. In case you missed it, here was the play. A fan leans in. They did make the right call because you see in the footage. I don't know if the outfit that would have caught the ball. But at least it would have remained in play. He wouldn't have caught it. It would have bounced a little bit above his glove.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Yeah. And a little bit below the wall. It would have been right in that sweet spot. So it still would have been in play. But they would have had a chance to at least have a guy on. Left field. Over his Mace. It's carrying back to the wall.
Starting point is 00:39:24 It is up. It is out. It's a home run. Or is it? Heartbreaking. Even worse is they're celebrating. God, Yankees fans. It was going to be a double.
Starting point is 00:39:42 I think we're going to agree. Mason was not catching you. What are you guys doing? All three of them. Do you score Lombard or not? I will just tell you this. I would because that ball, there were two out. The ball was in the air forever.
Starting point is 00:39:55 Yeah, that was hitting the wall. He's good at the wall and he wasn't going to catch it. But. And an RBI. After review. We have spectator interference. Yeah. Again.
Starting point is 00:40:10 You lead over the wall, you idiots. That's the right call, man. You're not on the team, Yankee fans. That's the right call, and then he had to get escorted out of the stadium. I mean, again, that's what happens. Yep, there's the famous Orioles one. Yeah, there's the other showing on. But again, look where it's the Yankees.
Starting point is 00:40:32 Again. It's every time it's the Yankees. That was an Orioles fan, though. But, I mean, yeah, like that you had last year or the year before, whatever that was with the Mookie Betts one or whoever that was, ripping the ball out, and then this, like, like I said, up, not out. Yep.
Starting point is 00:40:48 When reaching for them home runs, if you're right up against the wall, I get that there's adrenaline and that type of stuff, but I don't know, you just, you got to be aware. Would I lean out and try to catch it? I don't know. Who knows? Maybe, but you got to know. You got to do something to fix this Yankees management because it keeps happening.
Starting point is 00:41:11 There's nothing. The only thing you can do. Put a row. Like, they won't. They won't. They won't. It's part of the baseball is that the fans are where they are. They put up those nets, the nets that you've seen, those are new.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Yeah. Because they're sick of people having tragic situations. I mean, look how close we were. I can't fathom sitting there with no net. No, foul ball. Yeah, whipping right at you, yeah. That's a screamer. It would just happen to people, so.
Starting point is 00:41:41 But, man. It's the right call, but here you go, Yankees fans, every single time. Knock it all. What are you going to learn? Toy of the year, Cody. What do you think is the toy of the year? What do you think's the hot toy going to be this Christmas? Oh, oh.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Oh, okay. Geez, I don't know that. Did anybody guess? Toy the year. What is it? I was going to say, I bet it's that squeasy cube thing. The Nito? No, that's the thing that I've heard about the most.
Starting point is 00:42:08 Is that like I was a toy? It's not Nitos. Okay. But I don't know what's the- I mean, Nidos are sold out. It is a squishy toy. Okay. This is going to be for Christmas, the hot gift?
Starting point is 00:42:19 I don't know if it is because it's very popular with teens right now. Well, you said squishy toy, so I already think so. Because those, I mean, do you seem the lines they create just one a company tries to give on away for free? Let me see if I, you know what? Maybe I'll just play the commercial for you. And then you guys can learn about the hot toy this year. Hold on a second.
Starting point is 00:42:43 It mutes itself. Too late. Face prankster. What's that? It's Chester Cheeks. The ultimate butt-face prankster. Squeeze. And he lets it rip.
Starting point is 00:42:54 He's dropping beats, jiggling cheeks. He's full of gas power pranks up his sleeve. That little fart. Chester. Always up to cheeky tricks. Warning. may cause explosive laughter and uncontrollable
Starting point is 00:43:09 wiggle dancing Chester Cheeks from butt face by Goliath That's a real commercial That is a real toy and that is very popular No No it's not You're kidding
Starting point is 00:43:24 The most popular toy of the year is currently Buttface Chester Cheeks Chester Cheeks Now if you're not familiar with our show Although yeah Go ahead where you're going to say First of all lawsuit incoming
Starting point is 00:43:36 Our tagline has always been dropping beats and jiggling cheeks. Thank you. So first off, right there, strike one. But go on now. You might not be familiar with Uncle Coco, or Uncle Music, if you will. We have a toy in our studio that one of our listeners discovered in Japan, here's some show lore. Yeah, pick it up.
Starting point is 00:44:00 I don't want to jiggling over there. One of our listeners saw this on a Japanese shopping site. You can buy these just through Walmart. drop shipping or whatever. It's been on the wheel of tattoos. This is Uncle Music. Now, it's not even conjecture for me to assume that someone in Japanese stole Cody's likeness.
Starting point is 00:44:20 They absolutely stole Cody's likeness to make this toy. It's 100% Cody. Yeah, my beard isn't as long, and my hair is long anymore. But this is his beard, it's his tattoos, it's his sunglasses, it's hair. It's from when we would put the Cocoa Puffs images and stuff up. Because it's like the- It's the exact same one. It's that.
Starting point is 00:44:38 Somebody in Japan saw Cody's image and made him a toy, much like Homer Simpson and Mr. Bubbles. Same exact scenario. Yes. I'm wondering if someone in Japan stole my likeness for Chester Cheeks. We obviously very clearly need to get that now because that's yours. It's got little glasses on it, right? Did I see glasses on butt face? I'll go back and play it.
Starting point is 00:45:00 Because, I mean, yes. Dropping beats, moving cheeks. Is that what it said? Jiggling cheeks. Jiggling cheeks. Dropping beats and jiggling and jiggling. Cheats. Hold on a second.
Starting point is 00:45:09 I mean, we very obviously need. Let me see what I've got here. That's a Conan clip playing in the background. Oh, that's a little Conan. Go back to, hold on. Is this? He would like the dropping beats, jiggling cheeks. Oh, show.
Starting point is 00:45:25 All right. Once again, I will play the hottest toy of the year. I don't understand, like, it's butt face by, there's so many things. There's so many names by Goliath. is the name. But his name is Chester Cheeks? I think so.
Starting point is 00:45:42 So there's, was there going to be a line of butt face? Is there going to be a whole lineage of these? Fanny Farts and. What's that? It's Chester Cheeks. Oh no, no glasses. But face prankster. Squeeze.
Starting point is 00:45:54 Headphones. Headphones let me hear of red. He's dropping beats, jiggling cheeks. They're literally your headphones. He's full of gas power pranks up his sleeve. That little fart, Chester. Always up to cheeky tricks. Warning may cause explosive laughter
Starting point is 00:46:10 An uncontrollable wiggle dancing Chester Cheeks from butt base by Goliath I love it And I love it's hilarious I love the trope that has not That's still a trope of I'm a parent and I'm angry
Starting point is 00:46:24 Or I'm a principal And smoke Farts make me so Burn Love it So it is How much is it? How much is Chester?
Starting point is 00:46:37 Can I buy Chester Cheeks? That's a sold-out thing. We got to reassess. My Chester Cheeks. I don't at all because I love stupid toys. We had stupid toys. Yeah. Our parents had stupid toys and this is still a stupid toy.
Starting point is 00:46:51 Although, stupid. 2497 on Amazon. I can have it by Saturday. Although, let me see that. Let me see Chester Cheeks do a sick backflip like the Yippie Dog. What was the Yippie Dog? You don't remember? Bec-hip, yep, yep.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Backflip. Oh, my God. Yes, right. Backflip. I forgot about the yippy backflip dog. Right? What was our stupidest toy in the 90s? Or 80s.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Oh, wow. Like, what would be our Chester cheeks? Oh, man. We had the Seymour butts that I loved. They'd stick in the window and you'd squeeze the palm and he'd pull his pants down. Garbage Pale Kids. Garbage Pail Kids was a good one. Was a really good one.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Um, I'm trying to think of what. D. point. Is the hair supposed to be poops? I don't know. No, it's on the top of the head. Yeah, but that's the cheeks. I don't know. Yeah. I'm trying to think of things. Demars, did you allow that in your school or would that be an immediate suspension? Yeah. That actually was footage of Demars. Ah, yeah. Remars! I'm trying to think, because my mom was, it was always pretty good about letting me get toys. Mm-hmm. But I'm trying to remember things where she was like, no. You're not kidding.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Chunk says Mr. Bucket. That wasn't dumb. I mean, it was dumb. I put the balls in my top by Mr. Bucket. I do you guys. A Mr. Bucket. Boat. Boat around. Bunket. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Bunkets up on. D.Marsh says immediate suspension and not for nothing. Every time you guys do an impression of principles, I do sound just like. D.Mars is a principal. Farts make me so. Blah. A lot of our like, we're really like games or you, you, you,
Starting point is 00:48:35 pick boogers out of the note. Oh, there was a lot of booger play in the 90s, yeah. That could be. Snot-related stuff, booger stuff. Yep. I'm trying to think of me like unnecessary things. All of those big piles of Gack are just as unnecessary as slime is today. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:48:55 What do we have? Let me see here. I had those. What was it? What? Hamilt's talking about the, uh, in the 90s when WWE released the figures of maximum them sweat. They were a little bigger and you filled them with water and like pressed
Starting point is 00:49:08 a button and it makes them look like they were sweaty. I had one. I had one. Yeah, Gack was pretty gross. Oh, those were terrible. The Wild West Ninja Turtles, that wasn't gross, though. No. Because this is just unnecessary and dumb.
Starting point is 00:49:25 So you got to come up think of something that's along those lines. Whoopi cushions, yeah. There it is. What? Gooey Louie. What was Gooey Louie? The nose one. Hold on, I got to watch that.
Starting point is 00:49:35 Gooi, Louie. Oh, wow. Because, yeah, a lot. I mean, I'm sure we had something with a butt, right? Right. All right, I had to have been. Gooy, Louis, 1997. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Yeah. Let me blast this off here. Hold on a second. Yeah, that was pretty unnecessary. The oven where you make insects and then eat them. Oh, yeah, Gooy-Looey-Lewy had big long. Ugh. If you picked the wrong, gooey, gooey-loy's brains pop out.
Starting point is 00:50:03 Oh. Because that was his brainstem. Now we're a gooey louis squirder in every game. Now we're a gooey louis squirder. Excuse me. Ah, the gooey louis squirder. Man balls were awesome. They weren't gross.
Starting point is 00:50:17 We did have Booger Man as a game as a video game. Yeah, all the easy bake insects were pretty gross. That and like the science lab one. The dreadful food lab. Yeah, drink your fizzy were creations. Oh, ho. Muscle figures weren't gross. but they were cool.
Starting point is 00:50:34 What? What's the thing I'm thinking of where the... Oh, I'll come up with it. There was another game that's like that. We just discovered Mr. Cheeks, I guess, which is a toy where it just farts and bounces around, trying to figure out what our version of Mr. Cheeks was in the 1900s. Man, there are so many.
Starting point is 00:50:54 So many. You can't do a girl called Coohy Louie in college. She come with the squirder? Yeah. We didn't have... This is a newer thing, but there is a pimple pot. hopping game, isn't there? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:05 Where you squeeze those fake pimples? That's disgusting. I always wanted to play that or get it for like Festivus, that one where they got the do the thing with the whipped cream. You know that. Oh, the face, the hand? But we don't use whipped cream. No, what do we use?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Ah, mannays. Yeah, mayonnaise. That is a fun one. That looks fun and not necessary. Yeah, pie face. Well, I will. And because we talked about it on the air, I'm going to submit a, an expense request for Mr. Cheeks.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Because it was content. It's content. I got to buy it. 7 o'clock. You're going to join Coco. Cody McHall live at 7 tonight's on our Twitch channel. Is that the internet?
Starting point is 00:51:47 And you do this every week? Hold on. Yeah, write this down. So every week. Starting about this Thursday. Yeah. So let's just pretend.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Sure, tonight's the first show. Mm-hmm. Seven o'clock tonight. Write that down. Yep. It's called Coco Puffs. Okay. So it's a breakfast show.
Starting point is 00:52:09 No. It's about puffing things that we can't discuss on the radio. Oh, it's a medical show. It's asthma. Yeah. For asthmatics. Asmatic related. C-O-P-D is a lot of, uh,
Starting point is 00:52:20 it'd be good to sell to like, I don't know, like a doctor's office maybe. Perfect. Seven o'clock tonight brought to you by Joe's Buds, the show, too dangerous for radio. And who are his buds? He is, well, it's a name of his. dispenser. He's actually been on the air for many years. Are you from... Pez?
Starting point is 00:52:38 Cody, there's a new app. Now, I've been with the same lady for a very long time, so I don't know what the dating world is like. But I can imagine... Balls. Those of you out there dating love it. When other people share their opinions about your dating life.
Starting point is 00:52:58 Isn't that your favorite thing? Yeah. How when other people get involved, No, at least... With your dating life? At least with guys, it's not as bad as... I feel so bad. I feel bad for single women
Starting point is 00:53:10 because they probably not only get the... When you're going to get married? They get the one you're going to have kids, all that stuff. I don't... What are you going to get me and grandbaby? Yep, no. I don't want to bring kids into this world. No, we have.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Thank goodness. There's a new app called Rivet, which allows other people to help match you with a date, Cody. So it's just somebody setting you up on a blind date? No, it's kind of like a game. So matchers...
Starting point is 00:53:41 My love life is not a game. Matchers get to see AI-generated photos of pairs put together. Okay, so it's like a third... Hold on. It's almost like I'm treating... I don't even know how to explain what I'm thinking. I'm going to look at it like this.
Starting point is 00:54:00 So it's... I am on a dating app. You are, so are all these other people. Yep. You then downloaded this dating app as a matcher. I'm a matron. And then you see me and chick A.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Yeah. And you go, P. Swipe left. It's like when I was growing up and I would take the Barbie and the G.I. Joe and make them kiss. They don't kiss. Now just kiss each other.
Starting point is 00:54:23 They don't get married either. Now you're going to kiss in your B together. It's just a grown-up version of me doing that. Yep. Okay, Undertaker. You're a kiss skipper. you are love. Oh, I used to hate that when I'd get, get, uh, warned that the, going to marry your wrestlers of the Barbies.
Starting point is 00:54:38 Don't you there. They don't get married to goals. Matchers are given data on a potential couple without revealing their names. So I would just see, it would just say, man, 40s. Yep, and then this face. Giant penis, a lot of money. That's what I'm getting matched with. No, that's you. That's you.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Oh, oh. Your core personality traits, interests, relationships, intentions, and physical preferences and then I get to vote yes or no. You single people love it. When we get involved in your private life, don't you? And then like you swipe yes on me and girl A and I'm, then you're like, yeah, and I get alert that says, Josh says that you and this girl are a match. Time to open mouth kiss.
Starting point is 00:55:24 And then we got an open mouth kiss. I obviously say this in jest because no way you want anyone doing that. That used to be a thing on some of the dating apps where with one of them where you could, at least in the past, you could ask like your friend. Like you could connect somebody. Yeah. So that like you could also be like, yo, swipe right for you, fella. Yeah. Or you let someone take control of your Tinder or hinge or whatever's out there.
Starting point is 00:55:57 No. So I as a matcher get to. to click through this app and decide that's a good date with this person. And then you get an alert saying, I wouldn't say my name. It would just say the internet has decided you should date this person. All right. I'm going to make a ghost person. That way I can match myself with the person that I want that I'll just swipe through until I find it.
Starting point is 00:56:22 And then I just keep swat me. Keep saying that, no, trust me. Make them date. Trust me, this person, you should definitely. They need to be together. Do some dates with them real quick. Mm-hmm. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:56:34 Oh, sorry. Just look it. Look at this guy. I would trust him. He's wearing bifocles. Mm-hmm. Because I'll make sure that the guy in the profile picture is like wicked smart looking. And then my wife just looks at me on the couch all night.
Starting point is 00:56:46 What are you swiping on? I'm picking out days for people. I'm making day. I'm making them kiss. It's just, what? What are you doing over there? And I can just picture you look over. Match makeup.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Love connections I'm making love happen over here Making love happen Uh huh Excuse me Making love connections How about you make a love connection In this relationship
Starting point is 00:57:16 Ew Yeah we already matched I'm a make strangers care So the president's coming to town on Friday You guys are very aware How we feel about him as a person But I'm in my way I'm just wanted to do a PSA
Starting point is 00:57:30 Because I have a legitimate fear that people don't know like how much is going to be shut down in around downtown Syracuse on Friday. And I have this theory that people are going to get to work Friday morning at 8 a.m. And nothing's shut down and they're going to park in like a garage
Starting point is 00:57:48 and then they're going to go to leave their job at 5 o'clock on a Friday and not be able to get to the car. Yeah. Or if they can't get to the car, they can't leave. I had four cars on either side of the roads that I needed to get home. When Biden came to.
Starting point is 00:58:02 to OCC and they wouldn't let you in your apartment? Well, I had to be like because I think I was possibly one of the first because it was like two in the afternoon. Oh, so they hadn't prepared for that. And I went, I don't know if you guys know this, but there is no way to come up the middle to get into
Starting point is 00:58:18 the stuff here. Like, there's nothing I can do. And they had to like, they went in their car and I saw him like looking at some stuff or whatever and then a line got behind me and it was really awkward. And then one of the cars moved and one of the guys went. Yeah. President Potential visits are no joke.
Starting point is 00:58:33 No, it's for real. Friday, here's what we know. So that you guys can make plans. I can't imagine many of you were going to the rally, but regardless, if you just work or you have doctor's appointments downtown. Especially because Florida State and Louisville, Friday, 7. Yeah, so you're going to be home for that, obviously. He's coming to town on Friday to do one of these midterm rally things. That begins at 5.30.
Starting point is 00:58:56 He's scheduled to speak at 7. What do they do for that whole time? just a lot of fluffing, I guess, but it's a party, I don't know. It's the on center. It's going to be at the on center. 800 South State Street. I would imagine that there's like going to be blocks that closed out. I was like give yourself like a mile radius.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Like plan on it. It's no joke. And that timing makes me nervous that you're going to go to leave work on Friday and you're not going to leave work. What's my solution? I don't know, man. Oh, I have no idea. Because you got to, like, people already have appointments at the hospital. Yeah, you're not going to, I don't think you.
Starting point is 00:59:34 I don't know if it's going to affect the hospital. Upstate might be so far and St. Joe's is pretty far. Yeah, I think that stuff would be all right. But, you know, around it. But in and around the on center, man. You've got an appointment at 445 somewhere. Yeah, but what's Randy doing at Al-Anangis for a burger then day? He's going to have all those people coming downtown.
Starting point is 00:59:54 Oh, is he still doing the beacon skiff apple fritter burger, whatever the hell that thing? You just launched a A thing that I got to have to look up now Because you just unlocked a thing that I gotta find it I'll find it. Randy it over at Alan Angus They're just kitty corner man He's gonna have a whole situation
Starting point is 01:00:12 What was it? A burger on fritters? I gotta find it because he I'll text them I'll text them because I want to see what that is Yeah The convention The Republican National Committee posted a link on their website
Starting point is 01:00:24 If you wanted to get tickets for it or whatever Four tickets per person He's to appear with Breed Blakeman, blah, blah, blah. I don't care about any of that stuff. I just want you guys to know. Let me see it. Randy at Alan Angus.
Starting point is 01:00:37 You're a psychopath, Randy. What is on that? Read me what's on that. It just says, well, it should be out by now. September 25th. Oh, sorry. Green apple, green hills, apple fritters, and their burger. And it looks like, is the cheese, bacon.
Starting point is 01:00:56 I don't see an egg, but it just says a common. Oh, that looks good. Yep. So, listen, if you can work from home tomorrow, there is not a crunch game tomorrow. Their home opener is Saturday. So tomorrow they're away. You know, good for over there then.
Starting point is 01:01:12 So that time's out good. Because you got Trump, crunch, Kreischer. Oh, Bert's on Sunday? Because it was the landmark. It's still close enough. Oh, you got three busy activities downtown. So plan accordingly. This was all, like, happening very quick.
Starting point is 01:01:27 I just wanted to do a service for our audience. to plan their Friday workday. Right. If you can, you know, call it or work from home or maybe get a ride. I don't know if you can get a ride. Be like, can you pick me up two blocks from work or whatever? Yeah. Or, no, that's so inconvenient.
Starting point is 01:01:44 It's going to say if you could like park and like a lot for the day that's a little bit further. And then walk to it. I know that's the most inconvenient thing ever. Obviously for security reasons they can't. You can't release the map of what will be closed down, but I wish they would so you can plan for it. Starting at five. Right here, $9.00 spot. Oh, Cody's down spots in our lot, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:09 He'll over be back and forth. Plan ahead tomorrow. It's going to be wild downtown tomorrow. Yep, just for the presidential visit. Cody. Watch your ass. Twitch.tv slash the show or the show. com.
Starting point is 01:02:21 Speaking of Syracuse crunch, yes. The opening is Saturday night. Belleville senators come to town. And I got tickets. Four pack. Four packs of tickets To anyone that's... Not that anyone.
Starting point is 01:02:33 I'm going to pick from the text line. But to enter, text crunch the 315, 364, 1009. What? Randy also has crunch specials. What does he got? On Saturday? Just here list this one.
Starting point is 01:02:45 The hat trick? Mm-hmm. Krispy fried chicken sandwich dipped in house hot sauce topped with shaved steak, chopped bacon, and cheese. So a chicken sandwich with
Starting point is 01:02:58 It's like that stinger kind of It's like the stinger kind of And chop bacon, the hat trick Read that again to me slowly though Crispy fried chicken sandwich Okay Oh no don't look at me I won't rain it
Starting point is 01:03:08 Dipped in hot House hot sauce Quit trying to make eye contact Yeah Topped was shaved steak Okay Chopped bacon Which I love that
Starting point is 01:03:20 Because there's nothing worse Than doing a bite of a bacon And then the whole bacon's gone Go ahead American cheese But you want served on a toasted soft roll. Can I get that today if I wanted it?
Starting point is 01:03:34 Let's see. That was two days ago, so I don't know if that specials for the crunch team. I love Alan Angus. And I'm assuming just whenever you want. Cracker barrels just sit in their mind and their business. And you never think about them. Good morning. This is K Rock.
Starting point is 01:03:48 That's why I only wanted to change the thing of everyone went nuts because it was like, no, no, no, no, we don't do that here. No, no, we don't change things here. Well, you don't make a production of yourself. No. Come on now. We don't, whoa, we're not showboating here, Cracker Barrow. We're not showing off for the Queen of England now.
Starting point is 01:04:09 Homestyle fried chicken sandwich. Okay? Yeah. Because you got to remember it. Also, this does appeal to a certain level of old people. Yeah. Available Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday? Cabbage.
Starting point is 01:04:24 Mmm. Don't you want some. Plate of cabbage. Don't you want some cabbage? Loaded hash brown casserole pots. Yeah, yeah. That is the best. Limer beans.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Yo, no joke. Carrot cake. You like lima beans? Lime beans are awesome. You can get the granny smith, apple tea, whatever that is. I want that and the carrot cake. I want everything you've mentioned so far. Because we were talking, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:04:52 They party platters can of that. Dude, I'm looking at their classic country sampler platter. Choose two. I could get a meatloaf or a fried chicken and get a country fried steak, hamburger steak. I like the names of everything. Me too. Forget about the food.
Starting point is 01:05:08 Because it's, you tell me that. Uncle Herschel's favorite. You tell me Josh Wooden order the country boy breakfast. I do get the country boy. What's in the country boy? Uh, looks like Canadian bacon, which you might, you switch probably out. I just watch that out. Yeah, no.
Starting point is 01:05:20 There's a couple sides. America. I get America bacon. Biscuits, eggs. Yeah, I'm going to Crackerbell. Let's wrap this show. I'm going to Cracker, Earl. Grandpa's country fried breakfast, yep.
Starting point is 01:05:30 You said, Uncle Herschel's favorite breakfast. And it's like the grandma's sampler, French toast platter. I'm putting in my, I got to put in my location. Hold on a second. That way, bro. Cicero's the only one. I was going to say, that way, bud. Or, hey, if you want, that way for a long time.
Starting point is 01:05:51 In-store pickup. I just want to see prices. They're open now. What is this? What? Like, they keep it cheap over there. Yeah. For a country fried chicken dinner, chicken fried chicken dinner, with three sides,
Starting point is 01:06:06 17 bucks. Chicken fried, chicken fried, chicken fried dinner. It's almost less than like... You want 60 chicken tenders? Yeah. Man, I'm eating... I'm just eating so much garbage lately. I can't help myself.
Starting point is 01:06:19 You're eating good in the neighborhood. I'm eating so good in the neighborhood. Good morning, everybody. Happy. What is that, Chili's? Thursday. I want my baby back, baby. a bag, baby, back, baby, back.
Starting point is 01:06:28 Limea beans are like front and center right there. They're moving them. The vegetable of the day. They move them. Vegetable of the day. It's back. They are marketing. Same with cabbage.
Starting point is 01:06:39 People lost their mind that means. Why did they ever take cabbage off the menu? I don't know. It's a tail of a side. I can't imagine the old man that saunter's into a cracker barrel and they go, I'll get the car. And somebody goes, sorry, sir, that's not on the menu right now. What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:07:00 Leaves. Well, we don't, we don't have cabbage. Oh. All right, I'll get the lima beans. Sir, I'm sorry. We, all right. Well, Margaret, get your coat. We're leaving.
Starting point is 01:07:13 Well, I like that. I love a cracker barrel. I just noticed that they made sure, though, that that wouldn't happen. Why? Because if you come in and you're okay with the cabbage, but you want lime of beans and it's a Tuesday, don't worry, because Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday is the cabbage. Monday, Friday, Saturday is lime of beans. So you can make a whole week out of it.
Starting point is 01:07:32 Yeah. So we get you. Yeah. Because listen, if we've got something and we tell you it's available, but then we don't give it to you till the next day? Counts us two. Counts its two. And we got a brain thing.
Starting point is 01:07:45 It's the Halloween season. And I know we've spent a lot of time talking about the scary places you can go. You can go to fright nights and get scared. You can go to Fright Marr Farms and get scared. You can look inside our studio. get all scared. But if you want to do something with the littles or maybe you're not into all the scary spooky stuff, C-N-Y's
Starting point is 01:08:04 not-so-scary, Halloween stroll is back and Carrie is here. Hi, Carrie. Hi, hi. Spooktacular stroll over at Long Branch Park. How many years we've been doing this? Oh my goodness. Well, we started the whole concept during the pandemic because they said there'd be no Halloween and I said
Starting point is 01:08:20 there must be Halloween. There must be Halloween. So we built in the pandemic knowing we would eventually get out of it. And now we are luckily to the point where it's the walkthrough. We moved it to Long Branch, which is that beautiful paved element. So if you have younger kids, if you have strollers or wagons or anything like that. Wheelchairs.
Starting point is 01:08:37 Wheelchairs. Yes. It's a really, really beautiful park. And, you know, it's really accessible. There's so much to tell you about this year with the spooktacular stroll. Let's run through the dates as opening tomorrow. Yeah. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, until the 30th, right?
Starting point is 01:08:52 Correct. Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 5 till 9 p.m. And, yeah, open tomorrow and we go all the way until Friday, October 30th. And it's by the car load, right? It is. So we really try to keep things affordable. Yeah, that's perfect.
Starting point is 01:09:05 It's only $25 per car load. You know, come with your neighbors. Come with your family. Load up the van. It's only $25. And you had mentioned we're working with a lot of local school groups with your PTOs, PTAs. And there's a lot of codes out there in the community. So if you use one of the codes, $5 from your ticket will actually go back to a local community group.
Starting point is 01:09:24 Yeah, we've had a lot of Liverpool parents in our chat this week. And use this code when you buy your tickets. Yeah. So ask around, like ask your school. Like, what's our codes? We can get some money back. Absolutely. So we get to Sputacular Stroll.
Starting point is 01:09:35 We bring the van in. And then it's just so much going on. First, I want to talk about this new element that is really fun. It's fun because it does slow it down when you've got little kids. Yeah. Or you are a fast walker like me. You're like in and you're out. You just, you looped all you did.
Starting point is 01:09:51 We walked the whole thing. Talk about this interactive kind of, what do you call it? Yeah. It's a new interactive. to scavenger hunt. Scavenger hunt. Yeah. So what you're going to do is when you get there, there'll be a QR code. So you'll scan the QR code, you'll sign in, and every little different theme you go to. So you're going to start, you know,
Starting point is 01:10:09 we have the new prehistoric playground with our dinosaurs all around the playground, which is really fun. And then you go right into the spider section. So when you go into the spider section, you'll scan the QR code and you'll have clues what you need to find. And there's little kind of like circular medallions kind of hidden in every single section. And so you'll find seven spiders. Then maybe you have to find, you know, 10 pieces of candy in Villain Village. And it's a whole theme with it so you can read to your kids like, here's what you're doing. Here's what you're looking for.
Starting point is 01:10:36 And the whole premise of it is you're helping Giggles the Ghost, who's our mascot, you're going to help him save Halloween. Yeah. So at the very end, you'll go to the harvest shed. You're going to find a little, you dig through the corn, find a little medallion. You bring it over to our boo booth and you're going to win a prize. So fun. So it's a lot of fun, a lot of different ways to really just encourage the kids to, you know, what I love most about this is we're getting kids. away from their tablets and away from TV, right?
Starting point is 01:11:00 They're in school all day, but get them back outside. Stretch their legs. Yeah, stretch, get exercise, fresh air. Use those Halloween costumes. I don't know how many of us have bins upon bins of costumes from prior years. So get dressed up. And then as your kids get older and Josh, you know this. It's not cool to walk with mom and dad anymore.
Starting point is 01:11:17 I'm too cool, right? No problem. Come with your friends. It's a fenced in area. It's a park. You can feel safe letting your kids go a little ahead of you and have some fun. You know, we have the lawn games out there. have food trucks. So it's just a great place to come, spend the evening. Again, bring your neighbors,
Starting point is 01:11:33 bring your friends, bring your family. We'll have the picnic tables out there. A great way to spend a fall evening. And what's great too is like Carrie kind of said we're talking sputacular stroll. Like you think of like lights on the lake. You're in your car. You drive through it when it's done. It's done. This you can just spend the evening there. Go through it a couple times if you want. Play the long games. We've got food trucks and drinks. Talk about the food trucks. Yeah. So we've got food trucks. So every Friday, Saturday, we have our friends from Chick-fil-A of Clay. So excited to have them there. We also have Dark Hollow doing their kind of mysterious drinks and all those fun things.
Starting point is 01:12:04 They got fun vibe. They got fun lights and stuff too. Yeah. And then we've got easy, squeezey there and doing some fall treats. There's going to be a caramel apple bowl and some different fall, you know, festive treats as well. So, you know, come hungry. You can eat dinner before. You can eat dinner after.
Starting point is 01:12:18 You can come and eat at the event. Just a lot going on. Behind the scenes, you know, Badger has been there for weeks. Our whole team has been there. Sending it up. And a lot of, it's a labor of love, but it's a really, really great community event and geared towards families. Absolutely. You're not going to get scared.
Starting point is 01:12:35 A lot of really fun Halloween elements, but it's not spooky. Not spooky. Don't worry about. No one's jumping out, scaring the kids. No chainsaws, nothing like that. I saw the comment, when's dog o'ween? Every night's dogglewine, right? Every night.
Starting point is 01:12:47 So every night is dogglewin. Bring your dog, bring your dog dressed up every single night. And on top of that, we used to do treats on the trail only on Sunday. We're now doing treats on the trail every single night. So that's our rendition of trick-or-treating. So you can come through for only $5. You can add on that treats on the trail, and you can trick-or-treat.
Starting point is 01:13:04 If you'd like to, you don't have to. But another element that we have. And then we have some new sections as well. Last night I went to go test out the new Mermaid Lagoon. And that's a really cool new element that I'm really excited for people to see. So all of this has made possible thanks to some great sponsors. Who do we want to thank on the sponsorship side? So our friends at upstate Honda dealers, they are amazing.
Starting point is 01:13:22 They have come in year after year as one of our major, major sponsors. so we can't thank them enough. And then we've got our daily sponsors. We have rentals to go. We have Chick-fil-A of Clay. And also together for youth, which is a brand-new sponsor of ours this year. So we'll have some tabling there, lots of treats, lots of fun.
Starting point is 01:13:39 You can go to spooktacular stroll.com to get your tickets. They're up there right now. Again, look out in the community. We do that, get back, find that code. But only $25 per car loads. So we encourage you to do that. We'll also have the fun Halloween ones on sale. You can buy those right online.
Starting point is 01:13:55 You can also get your treats on the trail passes online as well. If you already bought your tickets and you want to do the add-on, of course we can do those at the gate as well. And don't wait. Go this weekend. The weather looks perfect. You never know what's going to happen later than months. Saturday is looking beautiful.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Beautiful weekend ahead of this. Spooktacular stroll.com. 7 o'clock on our Twitch channel or head to the show. Dot FM if you just know websites. I know internet. Yo. He'll be live courtesy of Joe's Buds on Anadaga Boulevard. No.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Do we drugs. Yeah, Cody had a good idea. We were watching. We were talking Oreos in chat there. I was playing a funny college humor sketch with the CEO of Oreo because there's too many Oreos. Yeah. And Cody had a good idea. And let's put this in the universe if he can copyright it.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Nabisco. That's a mine, Nabisco. Cody had the idea of something called yoreos. Yeah, yoreos. Well, you get the tub of the cream. Yeah. And then just a bunch of cookies. You do yourself.
Starting point is 01:14:48 You want to double stuff? You want a triple stuff? Yeah, you want a thin? You just want one and dunk it like a, say some. in the chat, isn't that a Dunkeroo? No, I assumed that you realized that dunk roos were a different brand than Oreos. Yeah, yeah. You know what I do like it?
Starting point is 01:15:05 I've never pulled the trigger on it because it's a little expensive. Right when you walk into Wegmans, they got all those chocolate chip cookies and then a tub of frosting. Have you seen those? I've seen that they have the do-it-your-your-self. Oh, I'm supposed to be doing something with that. Make your own sandwich cookie. Supposed to be doing something with that. I'm waiting for the come-down of Wegman's baked goods.
Starting point is 01:15:25 A little out there. They're getting a little pricey. Wild is balls how much they expect you to pay for just like a little cup of like the canoli dip and the chips. It's like, no, give me $10 for that. What? That was a nickel. Yeah, Wegmans has this move where if they've prepared it for you, it's exceptionally more expensive. Oh, you don't think this slice a cheesecake is worth $15?
Starting point is 01:15:44 Yeah, right. No, nobody does. If you bought a pineapple, it's a couple dollars. Yeah. If you bought a cut-up pineapple, it's $100. Yeah. So just do it yourself. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:58 But I'm just saying, I'm lucky not to be married to a phenomenal baker, so I get baked goods all the time at my house. I get a little residual. I don't hate it. Nope. He gets some runoff. Yep.
Starting point is 01:16:09 So a Cuban woman was arrested in Miami this week. I'll bail her out. No, I'll admit. A Cuban national? What does that mean? I don't know what that means. From there? From Cuba.
Starting point is 01:16:21 But they're a citizen here. Is that what that means? Alberto Hernandez Castillo. I already said it, though. I got to bail him. age 40 arrived and they noticed a suspicious bulge in his pants and he was visibly nervous you ever watch that show catch a smuggler on TV I've seen it a couple times yeah where they're at the airport and they don't understand why the TSA would think that it's insane that they've
Starting point is 01:16:46 got a bunch of dead lizards wrapped in plastic stuff like that for the ladies that'll put drugs inside of them and they'll be like listen we see on the scanner you have a lot of drugs in you And if we don't get that out, you're going to die. Yeah. Yeah. Because then they show the scan sometimes and you're like, what? That's it.
Starting point is 01:17:04 Pat Down revealed six clear plastic cylinders, each containing dead lizards. Ten live birds. Oh, it's close. That's the craziest thing that people still do this. Like, no, I can get ten live birds smuggled it. Don't worry about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:23 What? I'm sweating my ass off of, I have hand sanitizer. I'm like, I'm going to jail. Or like. Or like a bag of edibles. I'm like, right. You're like, oh my God.
Starting point is 01:17:31 What am I? I have a vape in my pocket. What do I do? We mean while there's people that are like, all right. I'm going to get all these. Before I get on this. Yeah. Before I get on this plane, how many my pockets can I stuff with endangered squirrels?
Starting point is 01:17:42 Mm-hmm. Two blue gross beaks and eight yellow-faced grass quits. Both of those are names that Josh got called in high school. Two blue gross beaks. Hey, grass beak. That's how people. mispronounce my name all the time. But Grozbeak? Grosvvv...
Starting point is 01:17:59 Sure. Whatever. Drusvante? Yeah. I'm assuming he was going to sell them. He's claiming they were for personal use. Them's my birds. He obviously now faces smuggling charges. Then you would want, if they're your birds, you would want them to travel safely in a nice way. Not in tubes
Starting point is 01:18:19 in your pockets. Yeah. And if it was all above board, would Wouldn't there just be a way to travel with your birds like you would with any other animal? Be like, no, this is my cage of blue gross beaks and yellow-faced grass quits. Like, no, no, I, this is my dog, Elsa. Why is she shoved into the, I shoved her my pants. My bag and then an overcoat around her.
Starting point is 01:18:46 Be suspicious. With a little straw sticking out for air. I have no idea. You get done. Do you see his thirst trap? To Babylon? You see his thirst trap the other day? His?
