Starting point is 00:00:00 We interrupt this program. Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish. They are not part of the legitimate business world. What they do is they celebrate underachievement. And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil. And if I could find some way constitutionally to do away with it, I would. Be careful. It's getting a little chilly for a job.
Starting point is 00:00:51 dummy cycle. It's not going to start. It's going to be too cold in the morning to rev up my dummy cycle. What is it? 30. I got 41, 37. I got passed by somebody on 690 in a motorcycle. I said, okay, bud.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Yeah, I love all y'all on your motorcycles, but I'm not sad when motorcycle season ends because you're very loud lately and you make me nervous, but enjoy your bikes, whatever. This was a rough one, too. Yeah. For accidents and stuff. Yeah, so, B. You know, listen, I'm glad you all had your fun. You do whatever you want, but.
Starting point is 00:01:21 I won't miss. No. Four o'clock in the morning by my house. No. Nope. Because you absolutely, it's, I think, I think by law. We do it for our safety. Well, I think it's a law by a motorcycle law.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Every house you drive by, you're required to rev it just a little. Even if it's a series of houses, then it's just. I know. I know I sound like an old fuddy-duddy, but I'm trying to get. my beauty sleep in here. Good morning. Happy Wednesday, friends. Happy Wednesday. Oh, there he goes.
Starting point is 00:01:58 All right. Sorry. There he goes. We got a whiskey show tonight. We got a morning show right now. Okay. Oh. Loud pipe.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Save lies. And I don't disagree with that. That is true. You hear them coming, but when I'm in my room, never when they're coming up behind you. It's always when they're in front of you. So it's kind of productive statement that they make. Oh my goodness, Kenna to turn on the electric fireplace this morning.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah, I love those things, man. Ooh. I like to slap mine on as soon as it's like the first thing I do when I wake up before I hop in the shower. I turn that on that way when I get out and I can sit on the couch and stare into the void. Oh. It's a nice semi-warm. But you're not staring into the sad dairy void anymore because you're going to work with me. It's just a normal void.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Yes, it's just the, I need 10 minutes to start the engine. All right. Oh, my goodness, yeah. No, I, let's call it staring into the void because I have a program on, but I could very just as easily have no TV on and just stare. Just raw dog 10 minutes. What is your shower void like? My void's in the shower, where I just stand there in the water.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Well, not depressed, not sad. I just, my body is awaking up. Well, now I've, it's always been I have something on. So I can just at least hear something. In the bathroom? Yeah, I like to hear something because I watch shower TV so bad. And I've also now realized in the last like two weeks after my, my little holder broke. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:33 That I would have right outside because I could position the shower curtain just enough. Your fat grip? That, yeah, yeah, that I could have like a little, I could see sort of. I didn't realize my phone fits perfectly into one of those zip bag. Oh, people do that all the time? Not the, not the, I've tried one of those. I've tried one of the ones you actually buy, but just a regular sandwich bag.
Starting point is 00:03:54 Yeah, that's what I'm saying, sandwich bag, and then you hang it off the towel rack or something? Yep, I roll up a towel, I jam it in that towel rack, which is the stupidest thing ever. I don't know why there's a towel rack inside the shower. Washcloth. But it's the washcloth rack.
Starting point is 00:04:05 That's crazy. They put the whole rack for a little washcloth. It's a whole full size rack. Yeah, it's a whole rack. Yeah, it's a whole washcloth rack. But now I just, I roll that up, jam it in there and set it right there. So now there's no real void,
Starting point is 00:04:19 although I... That's just a little. trying to learn how to do everything facing that way instead of the shower. Yeah, it's not a sadness void in the morning. Like Nicholas says, wait, you don't cry in the shower? I've been known to cry in the shower, but most mornings, it's just 4 o'clock in the morning, and my body's like, even after 15 years of this, it's like, bro, are you sure? It's dark out.
Starting point is 00:04:38 I know. It's dark. But I like a hot shower. It clears me out for the day. I do a bunch of little mini stretches while I'm in there. Like lunges and stuff, dips. Well, just like. bending over all the way.
Starting point is 00:04:50 There it is. For a while to try to like just not touch my toes. You know, and a lot of that. And also because the wall is right there. I love to like you're my shower curtain. That's my dream. I like to turn. I like to grab the wall.
Starting point is 00:05:06 And then I like to keep paw on the wall to turn my body as far as it can go. No, that's a good. That's a good stretch. And I do it both sides for as long as I can a couple times. And then after it feels so good because eventually it does that like, one of my stretches. Somewhere in the back and it's like, there will be a point.
Starting point is 00:05:22 I've already had my first, you can hear me getting over my first cold of the season and knock on wood generally I only get one. So I'm hoping this is the one. I'm knocking on for myself because I'm okay so far. But usually there'll be a second round
Starting point is 00:05:35 to some point in the wintertime where I get like a real like nasty cold. And I just like to sit in the shower for like 30 minutes on the floor. And that's the deepest void I enter. I've got one of those VIX things for whatever I get. It's sick. I haven't used it.
Starting point is 00:05:49 You have no idea how good those things are. I haven't used it yet. I'm excited. The vapo steams or the shower steams? Oh, yeah. Yep. No, because I'm... You're preparing yourself.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Well, I'm going to jinx the hell out of it. Yeah. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in this building so far that hasn't gotten sick. No, and I know why that is. I know why that is. Because you're just out foraging in the woods. You expose yourself to all of the things, so you aren't going to catch anything. That's true.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I'm out there just battling the elements. I'm an indoor kid who does not go outside very, you're mostly outside. That's true. You know how they say like dogs just roll around in so many germs? Right. They're immune. I think that's what you. It's like how they can eat different meats and gross things.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Doesn't make them sick. With their bellies, I can forge and rummage around with these people here. I think you've just been exposed to so many things in wilderness, knock on wood. I can expose myself to the rancid meat that is it. I'm good. No, I went and got my 5G shots yesterday. I got both arms. Oh, oh, sorry, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:06:48 I got my COVID. Updated COVID and my flu shot. Those I get all the time. I got one in each arm yesterday. I got my 5G, whatever, Fauci, whatever shot you guys call it. You were getting the shots? Yeah, what are you doing? Well, when they put certain things in, like the lamps and such, you just get the chip.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Oh, I didn't know that. It was an option. It updates. So I got those yesterday. I got sore arms today. But I don't feel like, I was afraid I'd feel like lethargic and gross, but I I feel pretty good. Yeah, feel pretty good.
Starting point is 00:07:18 Good, good. Twitch.TV slash the show or head to the show. Dot FM for all of our links, as I said, busy schedule today, just a slow walker. You got a morning show today. We'll do a little gaming stream on a Wednesday. I don't know what we do. Maybe a football game today. We got Dallas Cowboy Thursday.
Starting point is 00:07:34 We got Syracuse. And who do they play this week? Who's the? Maybe we'll do a football today. Who's on the 10th? Who do they play? I don't even. Oh, Virginia.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Virginia. So that could be a Friday or a, yeah, we do it. And then, yeah, like, I guess. at whiskey show tonight's 7 o'clock. Busy day. A couple of busy, busy, busy boys. I know it's only 6.17 in the morning, and you're probably not thinking of whiskey yet,
Starting point is 00:07:54 but it is a whiskey Wednesday. Some Jack Daniels over there. I could... Sweig that. I could do Jamison at this hour. I could not do a Jack Daniels. I would bough off. I would flow up.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I could do a Jameson or a vodka at this hour. Otherwise... I'm very manly, but I gag when I just smell the Jack Daniels, so I can't even imagine right now. Gag me! One of my kids' YouTube... Yeah, with Springside Farm. Shout to Springside Farm.
Starting point is 00:08:19 We'd love it if you advertised here, but nobody obviously listens to our show and called on you. So thank you. Thank you. I apologize for our lackluster sales staff here at what is Galaxy Pommel. I say this because I was watching my kid. My kid will watch YouTube with us, and I'll tolerate it because I like spending time with my kid.
Starting point is 00:08:39 So my kid will put on their YouTube shows in the living room and just sit with us. What's the big? Oh, dude. Smart. is the one that we were watching last night. Okay. Is that a thing? Can everybody tell me what that is?
Starting point is 00:08:54 It's called Smosh. And because my oldest knows that I do this and that I come from a comedy background, they were like, you should go right for Smosh. And I go, first of all, no thank you. I go, Dad's pretty much exhausted with the content creation game as is. Yeah. And I go, but I don't know.
Starting point is 00:09:14 I can't talk like them. And the oldest is like, what do you mean? You can just write jokes. I go, no, you have to write them in their voice. And I don't talk like a 22-year-old. And like that thing that I want to do to you or my parents out somewhere. There just wasn't enough people that. Oh, that video.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Hey, I. Hey, guys. We're here now. Yeah. Out at the show. So, like, I was watching the episode. And they were, it was all full circle of you saying gag because one of the hosts kept being like, gag me.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Gag me. And I'm like, that's a thing we say is gag. What you say? Oh, well, it was back And like older was gag me with a spoon, right? This is a variation on this. Yeah, now it's probably Probably got sexual connotations.
Starting point is 00:09:57 No, I think it just means. No, I think it, well, maybe it is. I don't know. But I think it's just like I'm so overwhelmed. And again, Katie, can you help us? What does gag me mean? I'm gagged. We're just sick of it.
Starting point is 00:10:09 You're going to throw it up. Is that what it is? Probably. Because the girl on the show kept saying, I go, girl on the show kept saying gagged oh I'm gagged and I go oh what it is that good or bad because gacked was like oh my god it's like oh my god it's like oh my god so saying I'm gagged is oh my god so this girl in the show was saying I'm gagged oh my god I'm gagged and then I said
Starting point is 00:10:33 I'm gag to the max oh you're gag maxing and that no that was cringe oh I don't right by I crossed mad cringe I got a bra I got a bra how many star bra once a Starbra. I tried. It was an example of I can't write in this voice because I don't know what they're saying. So I said gag to the max. And the oldest goes, bruh. I think you're funny.
Starting point is 00:10:54 But thank you. What's their, like, what's it? They, them, the people, Smosh. What's their thing? Do they watch video games? No, it's literally. They just talk. So YouTube just reinvented morning radio.
Starting point is 00:11:08 So what, what this genre has done for 40 years with like morning crews. Yeah. They just do it on YouTube now, and it's... Gotcha. It's literally the exact same thing we do. They'll bring up a topic. Like, the episode we were watching is like, we saw a Reddit thread of blah, blah, blah, let's go, and they all just ramp.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Oh, okay. And they do this. Like, Gen Z has just reinvented boarding radio. What we do is cringe and old and lame. But when they do the exact same thing... They're just 20 years younger. Yes. So it's not as cringe.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Anyways, do you not... Wait, does this make it any better? What? Let me talk into a tiny little. Little microphone, yeah. Fuzzy little. No, that's the beautiful irony of it. Now do I look like the coolest, most professional person ever?
Starting point is 00:11:53 No, it's not even that. They sit there with Shore SM7s, which are the other mics. We use the RE20s. So they either have the RE20s or the SM7s, which are standard broadcast mics, and they're on stands, and they're in a studio, either on a couch, or doing exactly what this is. It's just they're younger and hipter and more attracted than us. So it's cooler.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Anyways, let me do my read I was going to do. Nobody's worth. Widowily Quinch. It's a whiskey Wednesday, and that means tonight at 7 o'clock. I'm going to jump back on our video stream and have a little sip-sip with you. You're word? We got two boozes left. Last week, I'm doing a choose-your-boos for October.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Last week, beanball won, beanball out of Cooperstown, because I put three choices up. My favorite style of whiskey is Irish. So I found an Irish whiskey I'd never have before. Then I found a 1911 bourbon Because it's apple picking season Okay But it's also baseball playoff So I got beanball
Starting point is 00:12:50 Last week you guys voted You picked beanball So I've been sipping on that throughout the week Love it Tonight we're down to 1911 In the Irish Whiskey You'll vote on which one you want me to sip Tonight crack open
Starting point is 00:13:00 And we'll get into it Tonight show Brought to you by Heidelberg Materials They're looking for CDL truck drivers Ready Mix drivers and operators Loader operators Whole truck drivers
Starting point is 00:13:12 And so much more They're looking to join their team. If you are ready to work with a company that values safety, teamwork, and career growth, this is your opportunity. They have a hiring opening house. And coming up next, he'll tell you all. After this, I'll tell you all. They got a hiring open house coming up Monday, October 19th. So a couple of weeks from now out in Jamesville.
Starting point is 00:13:35 And we got people at Hall for Heidelberg right now listening to us. Yeah, a couple of people. Had to Heidelbergmaterials. U.S. slash careers. I know that's a hard word to spell. Just start typing it in Google. Jesus takes the wheel and it'll find it for you. You did it for me.
Starting point is 00:13:49 He does, he does. Oh, it's going to be like a funny sci-fi cartoon where they're going to come back and have age 10,000 years. Oh, bro. I mean, that'd be. Well, I'm coming back. It's the greatest thing that's ever existed. For those of you new to the show on K Rock, I did own a whiskey brand for a brief time. You guys were so supportive that it sold out.
Starting point is 00:14:32 We made six barrels and all six barrels were bottled and sold. I believe the remaining bottles exist only at liquor, wine, and moonshine. It's called Weekday Whiskey. Go get yourself some. over on Safe Fair Boulevard. But the way whiskey works, Coco, is a go, you put the, you make the whiskey and it's clear. Whiskey, when you make it, it's clear.
Starting point is 00:14:50 It has no color. That part I sort of knew. And then you put it in these barrels. And that's what does it, right? So all, all bourbon is whiskey, not all whiskey is bourbon. That I knew because you've, you've told me that, yes. Bourbon is first fill barrels. So the first time you can call it a bourbon if it's in a barrel for the first time.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Whiskey, you can reuse barrels or whatever. Regardless, the color comes from going in and out of the fibers of the wood. And you have really cool brands that try different things. Maybe it's a gimmick, maybe not. But like blackened metallic's whiskey, they'll play Metallica music on speakers to vibrate the barrels to get liquid in and out of those wood fibers. Johnson's Ocean with Jefferson's Ocean. Is that that one on the boat? Which is on the boat.
Starting point is 00:15:35 That's cool. It just kind of swashes back and forth. That's just a neat. It's just gimmicky stuff. It's cool. Yeah. There's a couple ones that you sound to do that. I like that.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Now, where I get lost is when it comes to zero gravity. Because how, I don't know. How is it going to work? Right. What's that due to liquid in general? Because I don't know. That's why we're studying it, I guess. I would assume if I don't know how, where they're,
Starting point is 00:16:03 if they're just going to put it inside of a thing and shoot it up there, like I don't know how they would expose it to the air. Uh-huh. But I would imagine if you do it a little bit, it would try to pull it as hard as it could into that barrel. And then once you release the pressure or something. Okay. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:16:20 It would then go, oh, few. And it would release back into the barrel, thus taking everything from the wood. Did I just do science? I think that whatever couple neurons we still remember from science class in high school, they just rubbed together and we both understood what you were saying. Right, I think. Engineers from Scotland to Japan are preparing to launch whiskey samples into orbit to study how the spirit matures beyond the Earth's atmosphere.
Starting point is 00:16:45 The experiment will ride aboard a miniature satellite. Satellite sky full of bohose and Iowa. They will track the whiskey's color and chemical changes throughout the mission. Researchers believe extreme temperature fluctuations in space could accelerate the aging. Whoa, you predicted it. Oh, so it is like a fun science. It's going to come back way older than it actually is. That's neat.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Even I would try that. The project may also inform future pharmaceutical manufacturing in orbit. Lead researchers say the findings are we are really keen to be able to find full whiskey making system with a full cask. It's totally in the realm of possibility to bring back something like a leader of whiskey within the next three to five years. Oh. And then it'd be on the shelf and be very expensive. Yes, because it's what, how much did he just say? A liter.
Starting point is 00:17:44 So they bring back this. And it's like, what, one shots a million dollars? Like, I'm trying to drink here, bud. I'm never going to try moon whiskey. Trying to drink here, bud. You want some moon whiskey. I got a guy out in the woods that'll make you some moon. I get you something, you feel like you want on the moon.
Starting point is 00:18:00 That's fun. I think we'll learn something fun from that. That's just cool. That's how you can then forget whiskey. Throw a brick of cheese up there, man. Let's go. Hold on. Now I'm wondering.
Starting point is 00:18:14 What foods have we sent to space? Because cheese age is good. We have sent hundreds of different foods to space. We have sent black currant jam, chocolate sauce, and peach puree. Why? Okay. This might have been to feed the people, though. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:35 I want to do the process. Whether they're going to do the whiskey. Do that to a brick of cheese. that's already been aged like 10 years. Yeah, this just sounds like food that they've sent to feed the people. I wanted to do experiments on it. Yeah, I want to see what it does when it comes back. Like the Russian Space Station has borsh,
Starting point is 00:18:51 goulash, sturgeon, lamb, and canned meats. They're the ones eating the sturgeons? Mm-hmm. And whatever plague they spilled over there. Japan has sent sushi, ramen, rice, umay, you can. I wonder how that works. What, the rice? Sushi.
Starting point is 00:19:09 Wouldn't the rice just go like... Yep. I've seen The Simpsons. They did the Simpsons? Chips. Oh, chips? Remember that? No.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Homer! No! And then the rice goes everywhere? No, I didn't know that. No, it was a bag of chips. He opened it and they went everywhere. And then he was spitting through the... I do know that.
Starting point is 00:19:24 Yep. You're right. Yep. Um... Spaghetti has been spent as sent to space? I wonder how some of that just holds up, though. I know I want to see spaghetti wiggling around. All right?
Starting point is 00:19:36 Just let go of a wet noodle. We've sent filet mignon. We've sent lobster. Ice cream has been to space. Oh, yeah, well, I know. There's on board freezers and refrigerators. I've had, uh... Oh, the NASA ice cream, that's weird.
Starting point is 00:19:52 I've never had it, but I watched people eat it. It was like a styrofoam block. Yep, I've had a couple of them. I got the ice cream sandwich. Oh. That was interesting. What was the point of all that in the 1900s? for fun.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Right? But why not just regular ice cream? Yeah, but this was... This was $10. But this was at the moon. We brought this back from the moon warehouse. Oh. I don't think you did.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Is that what the astronauts got to eat for ice cream up there? I would imagine it's close, right? Because you can, there's not... Do you have a freezer? They have a freezer on there. Oh, okay. Well, then... But you couldn't just scoop ice cream because then it would float away.
Starting point is 00:20:30 You'd have to just... Yeah. That or... I'm just gonna have a bowl for. Rudy Pables real quick. Hey, this is astronaut Lacey calling back to Houston. I got ice cream in the controls again because I was scooping it and it just bounced off the controls. That's my bad.
Starting point is 00:20:47 That's my bad. What are they called? Are they office? What are they called? What? Like, they're not like Lieutenant Lecy. What would you be? What were they?
Starting point is 00:20:56 Oh, I don't even know what astronauts are called. Yeah. Let's see. When they go back, it's, let me, Houston. Genet Epps. What was Jeanette Epps? Something, Jeanette Epps. Is this astronaut?
Starting point is 00:21:07 Special agent? No, that's... Special agent! That's... Ugh, think before you speak, bud. Special agent, Jeanette Upps, yeah. I like that better. Someone else will know.
Starting point is 00:21:19 No, what? They gotta have a title, right? Yeah, I would imagine. I got no Cody A.I. Space boy? Space girl. Space, they, them? Special space woman, Jeanette Ups.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Jeanette Ups. What are astronauts? Corporal? Captain? Is it a captain? Why is this doing this? Is it Captain Jeanette Epps? Just type in Jeanette Ops.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Oh, here we go. Let me do that. Let's see what title she has. Apps. American Aerospace Engineer, Jeanette Epps. That's just what it says on her name. All right. So an aerospace engineer, Jeanette Epps.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Special Agent Jeanette Ops. I like that better. I like that better. Electricity is more than a source of energy. At its best, electricity is a rush, a thrill, a feeling. From hybrids to plug-in hybrids to the all-electric Lexus RZ, this is our take on electric, one that puts what you need, what makes you feel confident, inspired, excited, above all else.
Starting point is 00:22:22 After all, if it doesn't spark something in you, is it really electric? See Burdick Lexus and Ciceroon. Happy Whiskey Wednesday, join me tonight, 7 o'clock on Twitch. Look how much he drinks. Are you going to have, folks? Night dedicated to a whiskey. Are you going to vote for this fat alcoholic? Well, in Oswego County, maybe.
Starting point is 00:22:43 That's my bread and butter. I'm there, man. That'll win you over. He hates drinking. Yeah, I don't want to run for office, but I dabble with it sometimes just because I think that, you know. Well, just watching random towns. There's a lot of bullies in the government that nobody stands up to and I'll stand up to you.
Starting point is 00:22:59 I don't care. I'm not here to make friends. Mismanagement of funds or a couple that will then. We've got a lot of drama up and fulting now. They got run for the mayor of fault? Right, well, I was going to say, they got some people that don't know, you can't comment back on Facebook,
Starting point is 00:23:12 because then that stuff gets, like, screenshot it and put in their own comments about things over and over and over. Remember that picture I showed you? No. About the dirty dock. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That thing's got like 400-something comments.
Starting point is 00:23:24 With the bird poop all over it? Yeah. Yeah. See, I'm already in, I'm already in eligible to run, because I call that Lake Tidicaca. I don't know the name of that Lake Tidicaca. It's Lake Tidicaca.
Starting point is 00:23:34 I've called it my entire life. Yeah. Because it's a name I don't know. It's where we used to go watch the speedboat races. It's very confusing. It's all I know. It's just a weird lake. It's,
Starting point is 00:23:42 there's nothing wrong with it, but it doesn't get used, right? My father had his second wedding on that pier. Yeah, and that's it. I've been to a wedding on that pier. It's a lake specifically for that pier. I'm as fulton as they come, bro. There's no beach.
Starting point is 00:23:53 Mm-hmm. Nothing. Nah. Why? We got a hot dog cart. I know. Like, it's usually. But it's usually,
Starting point is 00:24:00 but it's usually it's a reverse. It's primarily a lake. And then, And, you know, there's all the things because there's a lake. It's not, well, let's use the lake as a backdrop for the hot dog cart. And the boat races. When's the last time they had a boat races? I think they just brought them back recently, as a matter of fact.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Yeah, I think maybe this past summer we had them. But no, the other side, so like where you're thinking of Lake Diddy Cock on Colton, if you swing around to the other side, a lot of camps over there. Oh, so they do swim over there, or do they not? I don't know if they swim in that lake. Is it on a dog of lake style? Did you guys ruin it? Did you poop in it?
Starting point is 00:24:37 We didn't ruin it on it. We didn't have like Honeywell dumping stuff in it. No, no. But it was maybe, I don't know. We'll be party. They party. They party. We've been on to party.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Why not? Neo to Wanta. Wait, what you call me? I don't know. Did he caca? So yes, happy whiskey Wednesday tonight, 7 o'clock. Come get a drink with me. I'd love to have you.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Twitch.tv slash the show or the show. Dot fm. And it is Halloween season. Cody. It's the Halloween season. Yeah, I've gone. I went hard. Well, look at what it looks like in here.
Starting point is 00:25:08 Over 7th. Yeah. This is what the second you step out of your car, if you come to my apartment, you immediately know what apartment's mine. Good. Let's just say that. Good, yeah. If you're just listening to the show and you're not checking us out on Twitch or the show.
Starting point is 00:25:23 Atfm, how dare you? But our studio is very hodgepodge this year. No cohesive theme, just random. I like where you put everything, though. I like it. We just put a lot of stuff that we had up. Cody had a lot of decorations. We found some decorations upstairs.
Starting point is 00:25:37 It's a hodgepodge. And I like it. And I still have my outside decorations, really, to put, pardon me, at my place. Just because I don't put them up yet. Just, you know, whatever. But there's a lot of stuff. So good.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Halloween eat up. And yeah, the hot dogs on Lake Tiddy Caca. That's a great hot dog cart, by the way. And we got Taco Time over there now. I've stopped there. The dracks. Across the street. Oh, is that where the new ones?
Starting point is 00:25:58 That's the one that opened up. Yeah. That's a nice little spot because isn't the Bowel alley. And then Lakeview right there with the ice cream do? Yep, no, I stopped there once. There was something else next to the hot dog cart, and I got it. It may have been a burger place. Possibly.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Possibly. It was a while. But the orange hot dog truck has been there, I believe my entire life. That's a staple. The stable, default and staple. Yep. So what Halloween costume was most popular the year you were born. Now, I can't.
Starting point is 00:26:28 I get what they're doing with the story. Oh, no. I was born after. Because they're saying the year you were born, I don't care about the year I was born because I wasn't in a Halloween costume. I want to jump 10 years ahead to what was popular when I was dressing up for Halloween. Oh, okay. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:26:44 So, for example, I'm born in 1981, Indiana Jones was the most popular costume that year. But in 1990, well, power rangers would have been popular when I was dressing up or Ghostbusters. I was just going to say, I mean, I was a Ghostbuster every day. Yes, you were. So, I mean, it just kind of, but I don't know if I was ever a Ghostbuster for Halloween. Uh-huh. Maybe once. And it's funny, too, if anyone's ever like, are these guys on the autism scale?
Starting point is 00:27:17 He unironically dressed as a Ghostbuster to go to school every day. Yeah, my mom let me wear the sick jumpsuit. So I think there's your answer. And then I go to train shows. So we don't need to, yeah, it's on his hand. We don't need to do. do any testing, I don't think, for the two of us.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Nah. No. But how funny, though, that I would wear that and then go on Halloween. Not Ghostbusters? Be something else. Because I'm sure I was at least once. And I was always a bunch of different things. A wrestler
Starting point is 00:27:49 and stuff. I watched Ghostbusters two last night because I watched Ghostbusters won the night before. You left. I love that scene. Lifting me higher. You're just walking it down. Well, I just hate, and I know this is not a
Starting point is 00:28:03 take. But if New York City could just get along with the damn Ghostbusters, all the problems are because the city is pushing back against the guys who are trying to help you. Yep. They're trying to help you. And the judges and the mayor, everybody's getting involved. Until they need them. They don't want them.
Starting point is 00:28:22 And then in the end, fine, Ghostbusters, save the day. Well, we could have had a lot less destruction. Right. No, I get it. Let's go back to the most, let's start in the 80s. Uh, Indiana Jones, 1981, most popular Halloween costumes. 1982. LA at.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Uh, le at, E.T. What do you? Oh, well, back then it was just. That mask, yeah. Plastic mask. Mm-hmm. Because I bet. Mine was Ghostbuster.
Starting point is 00:28:52 That's what Mike came out then in 84. Oh, 83. Um, no, you'll be shocked. 83. Michael Jackson. Oh. Most popular Halloween costume. Good costume.
Starting point is 00:29:02 A full blackface Michael Jackson, too, by the way. Oh, yeah, I don't know. I plan on doing that this year. 84 Madonna. So back-to-back pop stars. I would be Madonna. I'll dress as Madonna. But that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Okay. 1985, Freddie Kruger. Oh, I was kind of going to ask, when did all of the Jason, Freddie Kruger, those start? Because you remember the kids would come to school with the glove? They get in trouble. Guys, can't have the Freddie Kruger glove. Can I have it for the parade and that's it. Until then, it's got to stay.
Starting point is 00:29:32 It's got to go in your cobby. Man, that changed real fast for poor kids. What? I don't have happened to my brother's age just 10 years later when they couldn't do a damn thing or wear a damn thing. Why? Because of weapons. Can't have weapons. Can't have masks.
Starting point is 00:29:45 Can't have this. Can't have that. Which I get for some things, but. No, we had. Couldn't do anything. We had, and I always shot him out during the Halloween season. Eric Pine, who we grew up with, we had that rule. You can't bring guns.
Starting point is 00:29:58 But he was an army man, so he had to have guns. But he made. So he made the most intricate cardboard guns you've ever seen. I do. And he carried him around for the Halloween parade. And I was like, dude, you put a lot of work into those cardboard guns. Pretty clutch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:13 Lottie. Is Lottie in here? Lottie, you'll hear you yet? 86. 86. Here it comes. Most popular hollying costumes. Here it comes.
Starting point is 00:30:20 I heard it through the grapevine. California raisins, baby. How? Hilarious. That thing. That big sheet. Yes. Oh.
Starting point is 00:30:32 Oh, the big plastic sheet. You know, just... Yes, the California Raisin costume. You're a raisin. Those you not familiar, Shobrallotti in chat. Biggest California Raisin fan I ever met. His bedroom was decorated as a California raisins. Listen, I've never even met another, let alone big...
Starting point is 00:30:49 Yeah, he's the only one I know. He's the only one I've ever met. He was just ahead of the time. 87 Elf, most popular Halloween costume. Yo. Hey, Gordon Shumway. Hey, cats are delicious. Again, you know what I...
Starting point is 00:31:02 Memory just unlocked. I was elf. I did elf. When your mom wakes up, we gotta have to see if there's a picture. There is, because it's me with the plastic elf mask. And then the plastic elf costume. It was just, it was so easy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:19 I know there was a section before, but is that still a thing? Is that section back at, like, spirit and stuff? What? It was, was it retro or OG? Oh, are they doing throwback costumes? Oh, yeah. You could get those masks. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:32 I don't know, but I'll tell you what, all these costumes I'm remembering being in, you know where we got them was Switzis. My mom would take us to Switzis. Yeah. And you would scour the shelves there. That for a few years. Or James Way and Fulton.
Starting point is 00:31:44 As soon as it turned, like, I don't remember the first year we were allowed to trick-or-treat alone, 12 maybe. Nice. It was, do whatever you want. My mom would help, but it was, you let me know what you need, but feel free.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Go for it. We used to come up with awesome stuff, our group people. We were all superheroes, wrestlers. Most popular Halloween costumes, the year you were born, 1988, Beetlejuice. That's a good one. It's funny how many of these you could be now. You could.
Starting point is 00:32:11 89's Ghostbusters. It took five years. Yeah, that makes sense because you got to think that's probably when I was a Ghostbuster. 89? I was born in 84. You discovered it? Yep, and then whatever the second one probably came out, which was what, 90 or something like that or whatever. That probably skyrocketed the first.
Starting point is 00:32:30 one back into popularity. 1990, Marty McFly, great Halloween costume. See, all these would be popular now so far. Shout out to all of you who have sent me the video of a guy dressing as Marty McFly at a Renaissance festival. Oh, what a good idea. That's fun. Great idea. Great idea. But no, it's, there's, I think so far only maybe Madonna would,
Starting point is 00:32:53 unless you did it very, you know, Madonna, you know, that era of Madonna. Yeah. Everyone would be like, oh, you're that. Very easily. Joe was Dick Tracy in 89. Great costume Joe and chat. I like Dick Tracy. Good movie too.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Text line says my brother was a hobo. Right. Hobo was so good. Ninja was standard. Yep. I was pirate guy. Yep. Because when we were really broke in the apartment,
Starting point is 00:33:19 Tam couldn't afford costumes. Yeah, you just went with stuff. So I would just put on like one of her shirts. Yeah. And she'd use her makeup to give me a thing. Yep. So I was pirate guy one year. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:28 That was the best. Or I was a woman like four times. I mean. Were you really? Yes. Hell yeah, bud. I'm proud of you. No, I absolutely was.
Starting point is 00:33:37 At least three. Mm-hmm. Average Joe says, does the, let's go back far enough for my birth year. Well, your name is 74 in it. So I'm assuming you're 74. Let's go back and look. Yes. Because it goes to the 50s.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Star Wars. Richard Nixon. Oh, because maybe that mask came out? Maybe that creepy mask. Just a bunch of. Trigger, right? Treasasite. I don't cross our sight.
Starting point is 00:34:03 73 was Marsha Brady. 74, Richard Nixon. 75 Dr. Frankenfur. What's that? From I'm just a sweet transvestide. Oh, oh. I've got... Have you ever seen that?
Starting point is 00:34:16 You never seen Rocky Horror Picture Show, but? Nope. No. I know all of those things. I didn't know a name, but yeah, I've never seen it. We used to have fun and dress and drag, and then everybody got sticks up their ass, and nobody has fun anymore.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Dr. Frankenfurter was, Awesome. We can both do that for Halloween if you want. We all let stupid influencers convince us that was weird or something. 92 Barney. Well, hold on. Sister says the year my mom was pregnant with me, Katie's costume was pregnant. Just a little kid.
Starting point is 00:34:46 Put a pillow onto your shirt. You're pregnant. Okay. Tring a treat. I'm pregnant of my mom and pregnant. That's great. How would you dress is Barney in 92? Another plastic.
Starting point is 00:34:58 Yeah. But what year, go back, when was anybody Star Wars? It has to be on there. Any of them. 77, it was big Star Wars, 76, Charlie's Angels. Gotcha. Michael Meyer, 78. Just needed Star Wars.
Starting point is 00:35:11 Mm-hmm. I was a cute little pregnant two-year-old. That's great. Then we get into 93 Power Rangers. Yep, yep. Get into there, yep. 94, Bout, Simpson. I was never Bart.
Starting point is 00:35:25 I was never a Simpson. I was never Bart. I loved the Simpsons. It was never a Hollywood. A Halloween costume for me. 10? I don't remember, but that might have been in the era. Maybe I was a baseball player because that was a year.
Starting point is 00:35:34 One of them, it snowed. I was so mad because I was a sick baseball player outfit. I have a bunch of photos of me in my Halloween costumes that I can definitely post on social media. Same everywhere. It's my. Tim took a lot of photos. Oh, yeah. That was the era of our parents taking so many photos.
Starting point is 00:35:52 My, what? My picture is probably everywhere with costumes somewhere. No one can see your costume with your costume. Your jacket on. Oh. 95. Dumb and Dumber. Dumb and Dumber.
Starting point is 00:36:04 Dumb and Dumber. In whatever version of Dumb and Dumber. Okay. Ninety-six, Spice Girls' most popular Halloween costume. Back then, you would absolutely know, because that'd be a good group for girls. 97, I can't, I can't express to you how much of a cultural phenomenon this was.
Starting point is 00:36:20 If you're too young to remember this. But Austin Powers in 1997. Like, I love those. I can't take you back to like, whatever quotes you quote now or whatever memes you share now or whatever TikTok trends you share now does not hold a candle to everybody you know saying, do I make you honey, baby.
Starting point is 00:36:46 And yeah, baby. And yeah, baby. Yeah, I don't know how to take you back to that era. If you're too young for it. Yeah. 98 was Ghostface from Scream. 99, Neo from Matrix
Starting point is 00:37:02 Yeah, now is when we were We were starting to do groups Now I'm in college So Britney Spears, Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Captain Jack Sparrow, etc., etc. I mean, my Facebook, because I've profile is the picture I've never changed Since I was Alan from the hangover
Starting point is 00:37:19 One of the best costumes ever I look exactly like him Although it only holds a candle to whatever year 2000 Something when BK and I were Jay and Silent Bob. Not a great one for you. We looked perfect like them. And then we went and stood in front of the gas station,
Starting point is 00:37:33 convenience mart for like an hour. Just to do it on Halloween, just because that's funny. Schnur, Schner. People loved it. Smoking weed. Smoking weed.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Doing drugs. Doing coke. It was great. 59 Maryland Monroe, 1960 Hula Girl. Going way back. That's, yeah, I can't even imagine the plastic lead, asbestos costumes that those masks were.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Or made out of It was grueling. 62, Rocky and Bullwinkle. 64 of the Beatles. 65, Sunny and Cher. Jumping around. Just some of you born in the 70s. 71 was Willie Wonka.
Starting point is 00:38:09 There you go. That's a good one. It's a great one. I wonder when those masks were invented. Don Corleone, 1972. Just fat Italian guys. Just fat Italian. Hey, Willie Triggler Street.
Starting point is 00:38:19 No, that was just my uncle. Give me a chicken. Hey, no, I'm Don Corleone. No, you're not. No, you're not. Yeah, look at a meatball steak. Oh, Mr. Sleepy Pain. You got to be quiet.
Starting point is 00:38:33 Oh, I'm sorry, man. People are out bow-hunting this morning. I didn't know it was bo-season already. Shh. We'll just wait with you. Scamper, scampers, scampers, scampers, scampers, scampers, scampers, scampers. Show bro, Mitch, almost got a ten-point buck this morning. Who's out bo-hunting this morning?
Starting point is 00:38:51 What do you got to do? Shoot right in the neck. And then follow it. And then just follow it. That's why you practice with the thing in your yard. You go right for the heart. Ah, just blast it. I started blasting. I'll wait.
Starting point is 00:39:03 I was terrible with... I'm terrible with a bow. I'm terrible with a compound bow. I've never shot one of those. Really? I bet it's fun. They look neat as hell. I never hunted with one,
Starting point is 00:39:12 but my neighbor had a bunch of compound bows. Is that the crazy thing? Yeah. Okay. We would just shoot it a bunch of targets, and I was very bad at it. I only ever did the archery thing for... For school?
Starting point is 00:39:22 For after school, parks and wreck stuff or whatever. It was fun as hell. It's fun. It's really hard. I would have never been able to kill an animal. if I needed to survive. No, I would be dead within a day. I'd love to shoot a crossbow.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Yeah. They all look like a lot of fun. I've never shot a crossbow. I'd love to do that. But now, I'll just blast it with it. Kelly says, I'm a good shot with a bow. Wes is getting me a bow for my birthday. Yeah, it's a really good skill.
Starting point is 00:39:48 So, you're out there. Good luck, fellows and ladies and everybody else hunting this morning. This weekend, Cody. Syracuse Crunch. Home open. Oh, okay. All right. I went to their website to see who they're playing on.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Where's their schedule? I didn't open it fast enough. Some reason I thought they had just opened, so that's good to know. They have played, but it's not their home opener. Oh, they played regular season games, just not here. They were at Lavelle Rockets. They suck. And then Friday, they're in Rochester.
Starting point is 00:40:20 And then Saturday night, the Belleville Senators come to the barn for 7 p.m. Hockey action. And I will tell you what, I've got. four packs of tickets to give away. Hey! Four packs, family four packs. Stick taps to Josh. So.
Starting point is 00:40:42 Get it because that's good. Tax crunch to 315364-101. Crunch to 315364-101. I'll pick some randos to get four packs to this Saturday's Syracuse Crunch Home Opener. Of course, you can listen to all that action on Brostat, ESPN 97, or 100.1. Do they still make those crunch
Starting point is 00:41:04 little pops, popper things? Remember those? A little bunch of crunch. Oh yeah, they do. Do they make those still? I get those at the movie all the time. Those are good. Those are good.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Those are real good. I haven't had a minute. Those are a good bunch of, I love a good classic crunch bar. Like a Nestle crunch bar. No, I like Halloween time. This is when you come across those and I don't hate them.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I don't hate them. All right. You got to pick one, crunch or crackle. Crackle versus crunch. Interesting. Um, I'd say crunch bar. I'll go crunch. That little red one is good.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I've never seen it adult size. I've never seen a full size crackle. Do those exist? Or a good bar. Is that a thing too? Now that you say that. That whole bag of little mini candies. Right?
Starting point is 00:41:46 Because Good bar slaps. I like a good bar. I like a little, little peanuts in there. Full size crackle bar. Yeah, Mr. Goodbar's. Nois. Hershey stopped making full size crackle bars in 1997.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Interesting. Only in the miniature mix now. I wonder it's just, but that's weird, though. So they knew enough that people didn't want them to stop making the full size, but they're like, but we got to keep them in the minis. Yeah, why? Just discontinue it. Don't, though.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Bring back the full size. You're already making the mix. You're already making the mix. Yeah, so then why not just, unless it was too cost. And not enough profit. Yeah. Or just then just make less. Crunch versus crackle, man.
Starting point is 00:42:34 A mini crackle slaps, a mini crunch slaps, a full-size crunch bar slaps, and I've never experienced a full-sized crackle. No. Maybe I did back in the 1900s around the turn of the century, but... Yeah, maybe then, but don't... I don't know. You know when it probably had it when people sell them candy bars. That seems like it was in one of those.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Hello, would you like to buy... I have crackles for sale, if you'd like to buy a crackle. Butterfinger. That was the one... time Bob spent money in our house. Because he didn't want to bring it to work. He didn't want to have to do that. Or.
Starting point is 00:43:06 The man never spent money on anything. But when you come home with that box of chocolates you got to sell, he'd buy the whole box out and say, put him in the fridge. Oh, okay. I was going to say, or did he then take it to work and sell them for quadruple and be like. He hated fundraisers. So for some reason, you came home with oranges, popcorn, candy bars. He'll pay for the whole thing just to be done with the fundraiser. And I get it.
Starting point is 00:43:30 That's a busy man. What's going on? I don't have time for you going door to door. Yes. Bothering the neighbors. That's probably what it was. You don't want me bothering the neighborhood. Or I can't imagine he'd ever want to put that at work with a piece of paper.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Oh my God, no. Nope. Well, speaking of foods, Coco, I got to open this with the first question for you. Kraft mac and cheese? Yes or no? I don't. It's fine. I don't.
Starting point is 00:43:59 I don't. I don't seek it. Yeah, no, I mean, I haven't bought it in forever, but I do when I want a mac and cheese. It's probably one of those are a Valvita, depending on price. Or you like that, that boozy one, right? The bunny one. No, that is good, though. That is good.
Starting point is 00:44:15 The annies or whatever, that is really good. Yeah, I love Kraft macaroni and cheese. I never seek it out. And I don't think I'll be seeking this out. As they have announced, Kraft mac and cheese cheesy ramen, So it's ramen noodles, but it's got the craft macaroni and cheese cheese sauce on it? No, I don't like, I don't like cheese sauce with my noodles like that. Like, I don't like Alfredo.
Starting point is 00:44:41 Oh, interesting, yeah. No, I'm not a fan of that because it gets, I don't like the taste of it the second it's not extraordinarily hot. Oh, okay. You know what I mean? Like a little bit cold? As soon as it cools down, even a little, I'm like this. It is a gross. It changed the taste for me completely.
Starting point is 00:44:56 It's very weird. Yeah, I don't know if I'm getting down with these. The idea was inspired by people adding cheese. to their ramen dishes to balance out the spice levels and creaminess. I, of course, because sometimes you're watching those videos for no reason, and you come across one, you're like, yeah, sure, whatever, just keep scrolling. And you watch the one where, like, they make, let me go, just make a ramen in a convenience store with my hands, and you just see my hands.
Starting point is 00:45:16 You don't watch those? No. Just for whatever reason, I've seen people make those and they have cheese, ones, and stuff, and I thought you were going in a different, which just goes to show our algorithms are very different, whereas I watch gentlemen cook food in jail, and they cook a lot of ramen. I've seen a couple of those. It'll just randomly pop up and you're like, oh, interesting the way that you're heating your table from underneath.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Yeah, it's fascinating. Humans can evolve. Even at a locking key, they can evolve. I always wonder when I see those, the prison ones, I'm like, you're making bacon. Yeah. No guard is a little shocked that a bacon smell is wafting through. Devil's advocate.
Starting point is 00:45:56 I think the guards got way too much other stuff to worry about. and if you're being behaved and you're cooking bacon, or you're doing like these ramen concoctions, which I guess is probably where this originated. I bet somebody in prison had their ramen, and they also had a Kraft mac and cheese packet, and they're like, yo, put it together. And then they did.
Starting point is 00:46:13 Yeah. That are eggs. See that? They do a lot of eggs. A lot of eggs. And the ramen, fancy romans people get. Mm-hmm. Yeah, a lot of people are all about it.
Starting point is 00:46:24 There will be three varieties available. Early next year, spicy, chicken, and pork. I don't know. I don't know. Pork. So I guess you're getting spicy ramen, and then you add craft. Yeah. Chicken ramen, add craft, pork ramen, ad craft.
Starting point is 00:46:43 No. So it just comes with, they just teamed up and got a craft packets. That's what it sounds like. That's why I bet this originated in just like a prison video. Right. They probably had this concoction. Yeah. And I don't think my brain would understand what's going on.
Starting point is 00:46:57 As weird as it is to say that, like I'll be eating. the consistency of ramen, but I'll be tasting Kraft Mac and cheese, and I don't know. That would be weird. A ramen, I haven't had in, God knows how long, but those big fancy ones that people going to get that are all the rage, I can't do it. You're going to be shocked because what's on it? We got underneath the surface. I can't tell. What do you mean? You're looking at the bowl? I don't know what's in there. It's all the same thing, though. No, when they get like the fancy ones where they're like, we put this and this and this and there. Oh, like a ramen restaurant?
Starting point is 00:47:29 Yes, yes, yes. Yeah, I know what you're saying. Yeah, those places look fun. However, I don't know. You've got hiding under there. No, I'm white trash. I don't go to ramen restaurants. I just make the pack.
Starting point is 00:47:38 It's a top ramen at home. Yep. And glined that bougie. Well, isn't one of these over here, one of those? There's a thing that's a ramen spot down there. Like a foe. Yeah, faux, whatever you say it. That's what Katie says.
Starting point is 00:47:49 They're so good. I'm just not evolved enough. I know there's that one over in the plaza, North Syracuse over there. People love it. People love it. They swear by it. I like a good miso soup.
Starting point is 00:47:58 I like the flavors. Yeah. And then I've been watching a lot of guys on TikTok cook Chinese food at Chinese restaurants. Okay. Holy cow, there's a lot more involved in Chinese food than I ever imagined. No, it's a couple times I've Googled trying to make things. It's like, you're going to have this and this and then do this with it. And I'm like, oh, God, all right, that's.
Starting point is 00:48:16 I'm never going to attempt it because. A lot harder than I thought it was. It's either spend an hour making sweet and sour chicken or go to Dragon City and give them $8 and have way better sweet and sour chicken. Yep. Happy Whiskey Wednesday tonight, 7 o'clock. I will go live on our Twitch channel, Twitch.tv slash the show, or head to the show.

Starting point is 00:49:32 Oh, boy. Because this month, a bunch of Paul Rubin's merchandise is going up for auction, and I'm looking at the prices, and they're not crazy. Oh, really? Interesting. Like, we could afford Paul Rubin's pee-wee suit. I'm going to show you guys.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Jump in Twitch.tv.tv slash the show right now or the show. I'm going to show you all the items up for auction. And they're shockingly affordable. Because like I would... Yeah. Yeah. Let's see. All right. I know. I'm nervous to show you this. Now, maybe they get crazy expensive on auction day. But the estimate is what they're putting in there.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Or just something mundane. Like, I don't still probably go for a bunch, but like his bow tie. Yeah, $250. Right? Like, right? That's not bad. And pull yourself up a chair. But the fun beginning's time to wet down your hands.
Starting point is 00:50:49 They're doing a Paul Rubin's big auction is what they're calling it. That's cool. It's on my screen right now. If you want to see the items up for sale, I'll go through a few of them. It is going to be happening October 28th, 2026 at 10 a.m. Pacific time. in person it will be at the groundlings in Los Angeles. Oh, I'll just head on over. You're going to head out there, but you can do it online as well.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Okay. So let's run through some of the stuff you can get. For example, a Paul Rubin's portrait, $350. All right. Paul Rubin's big holiday peewee Herman suit, $6,000. Expected to go for like $10. That's. Even though, even $10,000, it would be a ridiculous purchase for someone like you or I.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Yeah, but that's. But you'd have to. Have that? Yeah, that's not the worst. Not like a million. Right. Peewee's Big Adventure Replic of Bicycle, 6,000.
Starting point is 00:51:47 Script for Peewee's Big Adventure, 6,031 bids right now. I want the script. Whoa. Dude, I'm going to keep going. You're going to be shocked. What? Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:51:57 You want the Peewee's Big Adventure bathroom set? Or are you talking about... Next to it. The signed poster. I have that. And it's signed? I have that.
Starting point is 00:52:07 Where is it? At my house. Is it displayed? Yes. It's in my bedroom because it's... Ah, the Lovenasium, yeah. It's big and it's framed, so there's nowhere to like... Who can I do that?
Starting point is 00:52:16 I'm pretty positive, Chris and Veronica. I'm pretty positive. Whoa! Well, that's going to go over like $3,000. I have that. Don't you ever sell that ever? No, that's mine. That's mine. That's why I'm saying, like, this is one of the things.
Starting point is 00:52:29 I already have one. Yeah. But yeah, I don't know the bathroom set. Those fish look very familiar, but... You can get the press kit and promotional IEL. That's really cool. For $450. I kind of like that.
Starting point is 00:52:41 That's not bad. A production chair that would have been used in like one of the office scenes. Okay. They got a bunch of peewee big adventure like prints and stuff. They got an autographed peewey's big adventure signed photo. I like that. You talk about the one where he's on the motorcycle before he takes off and rides it through the sign. I'm Trouble Dottie.
Starting point is 00:53:01 What does he say? Oh, he's a rebel. I'm a rebel doughty. I want the Alamo penn. You can get the Alamo pennant, $600. That's cool. From the film. Oh, this is live.
Starting point is 00:53:15 Yeah, you can bid now. And then I think it ends on the 28th. Oh, okay. I didn't realize it was already up. You asked about his bow ties. Yep, there they are. There's 13 bow ties up for sale. Yo.
Starting point is 00:53:25 $1,700 to own a freaking bow tie that Peewey Herman wore. I want the white shoe kit. The Peewee Herman white shoe polish kit. That's hilarious. $200, $7 bids on that. Oh, look at all these things. A bunch of the Pee. Pee-wee, Herman Dolls, you could pull the string on the back.
Starting point is 00:53:41 I definitely had that. Everybody had that. Look, all these things, though. Some of these come from his house. I know you haven't watched that documentary yet, because you never watched anything, I recommend to you. I do. His house was very eccentric.
Starting point is 00:53:53 So there's just things. So I think that you're going to get Paul Rubin's mermaid lamps, $1,500 bucks. He's got aquatic toys for sale. You jump down here, his school yearbooks. I don't know if I want his yearbooks. That makes me sad. I don't want his yearbook, but it's still interesting.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Or his 1968 Guys and Dolls script from high school? I don't know. I don't know what his personal things. No, a lot of these are like his real personal. Like his awards or his poetry books. I mean, maybe some of these books. I don't, you know what I mean? Like his acting books or whatever.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Yeah, or like the four classic plays. The 1977 Elvis Lamp is pretty cool. Looks like Glenn Gomez used to have. Oh, yeah, if someone broke it. That vintage couch would have been in his house. Looks like a bunch of housewares and stuff. Little trinkets and stuff. You're just tuning in.
Starting point is 00:54:44 This is the Paul Rubin's big auction, a bunch of Paul Rubin's stuff going up for sale. And Coco's a huge Pee-Weherman fan. Like he's got some of his watches here. Yep. Love this. Some of his own DVDs for sale. Different signs for sale.
Starting point is 00:55:00 Oh, a rhinestone dress shoe. Oh, the original? The original Penny? Claymation doll, $2,000. Do you see that? No, we're... Right there next to Elvis? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:14 The original claymation salad scene from Peewee's Playhouse with Penny. Holy cow. Dude, there's a Claymation UFO. Pretty impressive. I forgot all about. You want to get clocky? You can get clocky. 800 bucks.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Oh, is that? Oh, it's a replica. It's a replica. There's a ton of claymation stuff from the show. I loved Claymation so much. Another penny scene. Penny was so great on that. If you just Google Paul Rubin's auction, you'll see all these items.
Starting point is 00:55:41 If you want to look at what we're talking about. The sleeping scene from Penny. Yep. That's for sale. I forgot about Penny. Peewee Playhouse Christmas special. Peewee Herman Snowsuit. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Here it is. Right there. Original claymation for the dragons. All the penny stuff. All the penny stuff. It's just really cool. Yeah, there's just a ton of things on here. Kid Peewee suit for sale.
Starting point is 00:56:06 That's funny. I just saw that too. Anyways, the list is Well, look at it all. There's so much stuff. If you're a Pee Wee Herman fan, it's up for auction right now. Rest in peace, Paul Rubens. What a legend.
Starting point is 00:56:18 It was like yesterday, it was in the break room with Alex, and we were complaining about the situations that we've got with people here, whatever, and I called some guy who had something. I was like, oh, it's here to deal drugs too. He was giving food to the whole. Ah, see? When you assume? That's what I get.
Starting point is 00:56:38 That's what you get for assuming. That's what I get. That's what you get. Well, that's I just did it here. Well, what is it? Here comes the homeless guy. No, that's obviously somebody else. I wonder what he's talking to Lee Ballard about.
Starting point is 00:56:48 I don't see him now. No, that's the DA. That's not even Lee. Oh. That's her taking our, yeah, Lee's not here yet. No, I think he, unless he was over there and then I was, because I thought he maybe been pulled up. No, that's the DA doing his monthly visit with that, Gomez.
Starting point is 00:57:01 So, in that case, I mean, we're going to. Yeah, take him on there. Tonight. At 7 o'clock on Twitch.tv. Or head to the show. You need a hot toddy. It's a whiskey Wednesday. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:13 We'll do. Can you just... I don't like hot liquids. But can you just substitute whiskey? Just drink whiskey? Yes, I will do that. What is it? Isn't that what's in a hot toddy?
Starting point is 00:57:21 Oh, I thought it was brandy. I thought it was rum. Oh. I think it can be any liquid you want, right? I don't want warm rum. I don't want warm anything. I like nice, either room temp or cold beverages. I accidentally put rum.
Starting point is 00:57:33 extract, the baking stuff, and my pumpkin pie mix yesterday. I thought it was vanilla extract. So. Bro, I ain't trying to flex. I ain't trying to flex on you right now. Because this is just going to make you mad. Sunday? I mean, I got the best wife.
Starting point is 00:57:49 I was going to say this is going to involve some type of baked good. I can feel it. Oh, double baked goods. Oh. She didn't want our apples to go bad. Uh-oh. So she put together a whole apple pie, big old apple pie. She also bought, she's like, we need some kind of Halloween funfetti thing in the house.
Starting point is 00:58:07 So she made a Halloween funfetti cake that I've been pulling off of. I like that. I saw a fun little thing. I want to do with some Halloween cookies that is similar. So good. I love that stuff. So good. And she bakes for her dad because her dad likes an apple pie too.
Starting point is 00:58:22 Yeah. Hey, tonight's 7 o'clock. Come on over to Twitch or the show. Atfm. For a whiskey Wednesday presented by Heidelberg Materials. Their open house is coming up Monday, October 19th. they are looking. For CDL truck drivers, ready, mixed driver and operators, loader operators,
Starting point is 00:58:37 haul truck drivers, and so much more. Build your future with Heidelberg materials. Look at you. Here's a nightmare. This wouldn't happen to me because I'm not going to be poking around in garbage. I don't like all the grossness about garbage. I do. I brought it into the ring and I start throwing around trash.
Starting point is 00:58:55 I'm the trash man. People were walking in the 100 block of Mason Street in Sanford. I wonder if I walked that block when I was in San Francisco. Is that a famous? Might not be. Block. But regardless, they heard screams coming from inside of a garbage truck, Cody. It's apparently an unhoused person.
Starting point is 00:59:20 The guy's fine. You can laugh at it now. How terrible. He was in a dumpster. My initial reaction is to laugh at a poor homeless guy. And the garbage truck pulled up and lifted the dumpster. must have dumped them in the garbage truck. I laugh because you only see that on TV and movies.
Starting point is 00:59:44 Spokesman Robert Reed said the driver opened the exterior hatch and briefly spoke with the man and then called 911. Thank God it didn't do that crushing thing. Yeah, right? That would have been vile. Can I imagine that's probably a very busy city? San Francisco, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I imagine that, you know, he's just kind of whipping along down the street
Starting point is 01:00:04 and dump and dump and dump. They do have a horrific homeless problem. I was going to say, don't they have like the worst? It was weird. When we were in San Francisco, we get off the plane, and our Uber driver, we don't know if he intentionally did this or maybe this is the route he took. But he took us, and it was night. It was 1 o'clock in the morning. He took us through like a very shady area.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah. And listen, I have nothing with sympathy for these people. It's a terrible, it's a terrible situation. And I'm just like driving through because you'd heard San Ran has a tour. terrible homeless population. And our driver's driving us through it. And my wife and I are like, wow, this is going to be a rough city to be in. And then we never saw them again.
Starting point is 01:00:47 It's like he drove us through the area where they all were in the middle of the night. He's here. And then we never saw them again. So maybe they, I don't know, maybe they have a area they stick to. We were not bothered by anybody. Regardless of what the news reports, it may be bad, but it was not bad for us tourists. No, that's the same thing that I thought being in New York. City.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Yeah. I didn't see anybody anywhere. New York City is a grimy Disney world. That's all it is. Yeah. My family's going down and I'm not nervous about their safety at all. No. It's pretty safe.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Yep. The compactor had almost activated before the driver realized someone was inside. We heard the scream. Paramedics administered IV medication. The conscious man was hospitalized. He's fine. A firefighter had suffered a laceration
Starting point is 01:01:38 and was treated because I guess we were getting him out, he got caught by something. Garbage knife. Oh, man. That's like when I sliced my hand on the inside of the dumpster, apartments years and years and years and years ago. Garbage knife, by the way, opening for slaughter to prevail. Oh, perfect. You're going to go see garbage knife.
Starting point is 01:01:54 Perfect. Oh, that's gross. Oh, and you slice your hand in a can in the, like, you remember you'd open like a canned super tuna? Yep. And it had that lacerated edge and you'd be like, oops. Gross. Oh, God, I'm getting Willie's just thinking about the garbage. dumpster slice again. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:10 I'm pretty sure I dumped actual bleach on my hand that day. Just out of panic. Or hydrogen peroxide you could do it. Everything. Everything I put on that slice. As you know, we'll do our stupid little morning show now. And then at 9 a.m. we'll do our gaming stream. Probably a football game because we got Dallas Cowboy Thursday tomorrow. Right. And then Syracuse, Virginia, Friday.
Starting point is 01:02:33 We can do Q's today and then NFL two days in a row. We'll figure this out. Whatever you want. Florida State plays Friday. Whatever we pick, Eyeball will say it's a stupid choice because I ball can't shut up for a minute. It is.
Starting point is 01:02:45 And then back tonight on Twitch.tv slash the show or the show.com. He's going to see how many donuts he can dunk in a whiskey glass and eat. Mmm. Mm-hmm. That'd be gross. I'll have an apple site.
Starting point is 01:02:59 I don't have any apple cider. I can have a slice of fun fatty cake. All right, don't get it in a. We'll either be drinking a 1911 bourbon or an Irish whiskey called Four Walls I've never had before. It's going to be that. We all, I think,
Starting point is 01:03:11 you think so? Was that, I don't, that wasn't an option last week, right? It was, last week it was four walls, bourbon, 1911,
Starting point is 01:03:17 or baseball. The baseball one was because of the playoffs. But no, I can, I can, I'm going Irish whiskey. That's my pick. Whiskey Wednesday presented by Heidelberg materials.
Starting point is 01:03:27 They are hiring in their open house is Monday, October 19th in Jamesville. Um, oh, also, in the middle of all that? cons got your dread of on fleet tickets sugar
Starting point is 01:03:41 because if I sell it ahead then it's going to that's another and that counts as two and then if I never do it if he just doesn't win win I want to say this shut up eyeball I want to say this and preface this by saying
Starting point is 01:03:57 no high school students were harmed during this it's obviously bad to do this thing but also I can put myself back in high school and think to myself if this had happened to me, that's a story I can tell forever. Okay. Now what is it, Josh?
Starting point is 01:04:16 Well, Rufus King International High School had to call authorities after a woman pretended to be a substitute teacher and just started teaching a class and then started roasting the students. Okay. Calling them broke, calling them lame. she asked for a vape and nobody had a vape and she said this class sucks.
Starting point is 01:04:43 That's hilarious, although very dangerous. Very dangerous that somehow a woman just got into a classroom. And just nobody was there. Where's the teacher? Well, so, okay, it says a real teacher set up materials for this woman. Her name is Amy Jones. What? She sounded this.
Starting point is 01:05:04 I guess she sounds like she just walked in, went to the, the main office and said, yep, I'm the substitute. I'm here. And she signed in. And then a real teacher took her to the room, got her set up. But where did the real teacher go? Most of it really often. Maybe that's why. So my guess is this woman showed up saying I'm a substitute. Yeah. She beat the real substitute there. So the teacher goes, the other teacher goes, oh, so you're so-and-so substitute. Yep, it's right down here. But how lucky. I know. It's kind of a thing that I'll work in order. And this school is going to have a whole lot of meeting. and new systems implemented after this.
Starting point is 01:05:41 Yeah, that person that let them in is going to be in a lot of trouble. But we look at this from the comedic angle as no one was hurt or injured. But yeah, the fact that someone just started roasting the... Students claim that Amy Jones began using profane language, made sexually derivative statements, bragged about being... She bragged about having felonies. And she said, I'll go back to jail.
Starting point is 01:06:08 Students also said she started playing, again, we can laugh at this because nobody's hurt. She started playing rap music very loud. Of what? Began dissing kids for their weight and being broke. Also, she got a little racial. She's a woman of color herself, so I don't know what we were even doing here. She also asked students that they had a vape or any marijuana because this class is, quote, so effing lame and annoying. That's
Starting point is 01:06:37 I can't Yeah Like I can't even wrap my brain around Even just the All the things that went wrong To get to this point Here was An official talking about what she did
Starting point is 01:06:50 Just like what I said Students also say Jones started playing rap music Very loud And dissed kids for their weight, race DIST and money Even asking if any students Had a vape or marijuana
Starting point is 01:07:00 Because quote The class was so lame and annoying Now I know that it's a different I don't want to sound like a boomer here. And this is a little extreme, but also, back in the 80s and 90s, our substitutes weren't much better. No. I mean, they weren't insulting us and playing rap music,
Starting point is 01:07:19 but they hated being there. But if they did, they were, they were, they, no, they were in their right because we were so bad with substitutes. We were so weird dicks. I just, oh my God, we were just the worst. possible humans to every sub other than this one guy that we remember the whole everybody liked
Starting point is 01:07:41 but all I can think of is just how terrible we were right like like oh it's so mean for no reason I would like the stories I hear from my wife who isn't she's she's not like a classroom
Starting point is 01:07:57 facing teacher she's a specialist she's a speech pathologist yeah so her kids come to her but the stories you hear from these schools I was like you know, over this last year when I thought I was losing my job, I was like, I guess I could be a substitute teacher. I wouldn't last a day.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Would you last a day in a school? I don't think I could do it. I don't know, man. I don't know if I could. Chicken wing is right. Even the good kids turned when a substitute walked in. It was Lord of the Flies. And because we had a couple that were really, like,
Starting point is 01:08:29 I don't know, they were dicks. They were. Because they didn't want to be there. I don't know how they got there, but they didn't want to be there. And if you gave off, like you couldn't give off that smell because we were attracted to that smell. If there was blood in the water?
Starting point is 01:08:42 Yeah, like if you were even a little bit of, you know, didn't want to be there or me. No. So we had the opposite. So anytime there'd be a sub, you would hope for one of those. Like the weakling is coming in and you're ready. If they're not pushing in a TV cart, there's going to be blood on the floor. No. But then on the other side, we had Sergeant Slaughter.
Starting point is 01:09:03 And everybody called her Sergeant Slaughter. Oh, no. And she kept a tight-ass classroom. Oh, man. So if you walked in and you had the sard for your sub that day, you're like, ah, we're definitely doing whatever the work is in the book. Whatever's there as you have to do. No, we had one guy that we all know, everybody was like,
Starting point is 01:09:20 hell yeah, it's this guy. And I can't remember the other names. And if you had one of the other, like, three or four that I'm thinking of, you were like, oh. Yeah. Come on, man. There were some that took it too seriously. are the ones that would come back and hold a grudge.
Starting point is 01:09:36 Yeah. Yeah. Like, you're an adult. Yeah, I don't remember you guys from last time. A, A, Ron. Yeah, I don't, I didn't read this whole story. Textline says a topless woman walked into my kid's school last week. Remember, did you see that story?
Starting point is 01:09:51 Oh, you know what I did. Like in a Sviga County school. Oh, so it was just some Swayga County. So it was some hanglows. We got big heavy milkers. We got big heavy milkers up in a swing of County. He had to look down to her knees. Oh, there's her in the end.
Starting point is 01:10:06 You went, I gotta get buzzed in my kid's school. No, it's. There's multiple layers of defense. Fort Knox to get into schools nowadays. Good, which it should be. Yeah. Which it should be. Yes. Text line, I've been a teacher for 24 years and I'm in a special area. So I get pulled to, I get pulled in if there's a shortage.
Starting point is 01:10:25 So even the better, so even better in teachers hates heads. Okay, I can kind of read. I get it. Yeah. No, I get it, yeah. Even good teachers are like, what are we doing? That's, and Cody's right. If you were a substitute and we smell blood in the water. Yep, we'd get you.
Starting point is 01:10:41 We'd get you. But if you're mad chill, went along with it. Things are different now, Coco. Whereas back again, I know you guys love when I call it the turn of the century or the late 1900s. Oh, late 1900s. Back in the late 1900s, our classes were 40 minutes. So the substitute only had to do it for 40-minute blocks. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:00 Now there's like two. hours. Yeah. They're two-hour classes. You're chunked up. Mm-hmm. Jojo, my class was so bad we got a substitute to quit. Later in life, that sub was my biolab professor in college and the wife of my college president.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Hell yeah. That's crazy. Hell yeah. Yep. Nope. So back to this story. Apparently, Amy Jones, the woman who pretended to be a substitute, was a former student at this school, Rufus King High School.
Starting point is 01:11:29 she was at the school one week before the incident, got through security by blending in with students and walking around. She figured, oh, all right, then I'll come back. Eight teachers were absent the day she showed up. She, like I told you, claimed to be a substitute before all the subs had shown up. And just got lucky. She's the one. Yep.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Of the eight, only seven of the subs had shown up that day. It kind of worked out way too perfectly first. Yeah, something is, something seems off. The Milwaukee Public School District is obviously investigating. They declined a comment. They're looking into this. There's going to be a lot of changes. And don't, look at the top text.
Starting point is 01:12:08 Was that it? Was that the teacher's name? Oh, my God. My crazy sister was a sub and they called her Sarge. No, she wouldn't have been your sister. Unless your sister is in her 80s now, Dunes. Because this would have been in the 80s and 90s. And this woman was in her 30s or 40s at that point.
Starting point is 01:12:26 Yeah. So I don't think of your sister. But we call her Sarge, Sergeant Slaughter. Maybe it was a common name. The principal said, we will continue to take all appropriate action to ensure that Rufus King International High School remains safe and welcoming for our students and staff. Wow.
Starting point is 01:12:41 That's a PR nightmare. Yep. Whiskey Wednesday tonight's 7 o'clock. Powered by Heidelberg Materials. Their open house is Monday the 19th in Jamesville. Also, coming up this Saturday, Syracuse Crunch, home opener. Crunch. Syracuse, Belleville Senators at the barn.
Starting point is 01:13:01 Get out of here. Okay. I got four packs all week long. If you want to go to the Crunch game with three of your friends and or family or just have four seats to yourself, text Crunch. He's a 315, 365, 104, 109. The Belval Senator is out there playing hockey looking like a bunch of Mitch McConnell's. Oh!
Starting point is 01:13:20 Boom, I like it. I like that. That's a cross reference there. I like it. Oh. You're already giving up on. your Braves, but they're only down 2-1 in the series? Is it a best of three?
Starting point is 01:13:31 Best of five. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you gotta have three. My issue is that they needed the victory with Chris Sale out there. Braves fell to the Dodgers last night, 3-1. Yeah, they got real lucky snagging a win before sale. Now they needed to get that victory with Chris Sale, but Yamamoto, the pitcher for the Dodgers, he's unreal. And he had an unreal year, and he did it again last night, and they won, I think it was
Starting point is 01:13:56 three-one. Yeah. And it's just the Braves offense, when they're hot, they're hot, when they sputter, it's not good to watch. And, of course, a team that they've been hot against all year, they won like seven of eight this year against the Dodgers. They owned them. But you hate how right now.
Starting point is 01:14:13 They can just lose a couple and it's over. And now, this one I'm a little more okay with. Better than the wild part of whatever we did. Yeah, the couple games, no. Three at least is you had a chance, but I just, watching the very end of, like the last couple innings, It was like, they just looked deflated. And it's like, damn it, we're going to start this next game tonight.
Starting point is 01:14:34 Tonight's a bounce back night. And they're going to. Who's pitching for you tonight? I don't even know because that's been our issue. We don't have anybody. The fact that we've done this well all year with literally Chris Sale and then insert name here, everyone just has gotten hurt. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:52 We were set up real well, several points throughout the season. But we got some work to do. In the off season. Then Padres over the Brewers last night, they pull ahead 2-1 in that series. Bye Padres. They're down 2-1. They are? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Oh, yeah. Sorry, Milwaukee's up to 1. Milwaukee's up on them. But that was a good victory. It was 4-3, I think they won. So that's a hell of a series. That's been like the series of the playoffs so far. And then tonight's the night.
Starting point is 01:15:18 We're going to wrap it up with all these games, man. Guardians at White Sox. There's one. White Sox can shut them out tonight at 4, or this afternoon, rather. Oh, it starts at 4? Four o'clock, and you've got Dodgers at Braves. Like you were saying, Dodgers could knock out your Braves tonight. Rays at Yankees, 8 o'clock tonight.
Starting point is 01:15:35 That could be a Tampa Bay sweep. And then tonight at 10 p.m., Milwaukee could take it too. Yeah, the West Coast game. So it's at San Diego. Makes sense. Oh, full day. You got a lot of baseball going on today, and a lot of decisions will be made today, right? Yeah, geez.
Starting point is 01:15:53 Could have wrap up all, a lot of people's seasons. today. Yep. That'd be it. Busy day. A lot of vacations could start tonight. And then do they do what the Mariners did or they're like in like basically in the press conference or like this guy's fired, this guy's fired?
Starting point is 01:16:09 Maybe not some of these playoff teams, but it could happen. Some of it anyway. Or you can usually tell, I don't have to top of my head, the people that are only, that are going to be free agents this year. But you can kind of tell when they interview them, they're like, oh, you're not, you're not coming back here. Oh, really? Because they're passed or something?
Starting point is 01:16:27 Or just the way they're talking of like, hey, you know, I put it in those 10 great seasons. I can't thank the fans enough. Like, why? And then how do you feel about all the roof interference this week? We've had two balls go off the roof. I don't think there's anything you can do. The roofs are high.
Starting point is 01:16:45 And these guys are hitting bombs. And they are huge men. Yeah. The Spencer Jones, is that the guy from the Yankees? We saw him in person. He has ever. every bit of 6, 7, 6, 8, whatever he is. He's huge.
Starting point is 01:17:00 Yeah. I can see that. These guys are so big. Giants, yeah. They're just going to hit the roof. And, like, you know, not to be a rule follower, but it is discussed before each game. Like, if the ball hits the roof, it is, we all agree to this. Okay.
Starting point is 01:17:16 Yep. So it was going to be a problem. The team could say, no, we don't want to agree to those rules, but they do. I remember having to do that growing up, but it was more like, all right, so on our left field fence, there is a hole from a muskrat. So if the ball goes in, put your hands up, dabble. And they would do that every game yet.
Starting point is 01:17:31 Oh, yeah, you have to go out. Because you got to think everybody's field is different. Like, all right, so, you know, our foul pull technically is not in foul territory and stuff like that. Our fence does have a gap. That will be a ground rule double if it goes through the fence. This is a makeshift fence. So if you go over it, it does count as a home run.
Starting point is 01:17:49 So as people can no longer afford to live or procreate or have home. homes, a lot of people are going trick-or-treating with their pets. A lot of pet options. Yeah, I bet I could get my ass a lot of candy if I slapped a super dog outfit on to Elsa. People are looking for ways to take their pets out trick-or-treating, and PetSmart has announced two in-store events happening at all their locations. Petco also has trick-or-treating this month. Now, there's big money in pet costumes. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:23 Back in my 93 Q days, I think they still do their pet costume contest. The parade thing and all that. They had every goddamn pet. They had parrots showing up. Hedgehogs showing up. Yeah. It was a big deal. You go to a PetSmart right now?
Starting point is 01:18:35 There's a whole whole whole of pet costumes. It's wild how many pet costumes there are. Spirit Halloween has a whole pet costume section. Yep. No, it's nuts. PetSmart has announced two in-store events, which are happening at all locations, the pet trick-or-treating, October 17th and 25th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
Starting point is 01:18:57 complimentary treats for costumed pets and photo shoots. Love it. That's pretty freaking cute. Love it. On top of that, they're doing a, now, you put this in your calendar, a meet the spooky pets event where store employees will showcase the creepier pets like snakes, spiders, and beetles. Oh, you can get up and touch them and play with them. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:19:26 All day long on those two days. Trix for treats, Saturday, October 17th, and Sunday, October 25th. And then you can meet the spooky pets Sunday, October 18th from 12 to 2. That's pretty cool. Can I play with our Tarantula? Can I hold your snake, please? Yes, yes, you can. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:19:45 It's a Wednesday, and that means Lee Baldwin is here. dollar investment club.com. You sign up, pay a bill to yourself. Good morning, Lee Baldwin. Good morning, guys. Good morning, everyone. You're coming in here saying the market's at an all-time high and... The SMP 500, all-time high yesterday.
Starting point is 01:20:02 I'm nervous about it because I can't think of any other reason besides AI. We'd be in an all-time high. Consumer confidence is down. Employment is down. Every gas prices are up. Every reason to be high, it's all propped up on AI, isn't it? Well, AI is a big part of it. It just feels like a janga tower to me, Lee.
Starting point is 01:20:23 What makes me nervous is diesel. You can't, like, you've got to, that permeates throughout the economic system, the higher cost, whether it's farming, trucking, cost of good, everything, right? Yeah. And also, we have interest rates higher. Like, that's, like, kryptonite, two stocks by 0.3% on the 10 years, so it's getting our attention. But on the good side, I would say, and this might. shock you guys, but consumer spending is actually up year over year. That's what I don't understand.
Starting point is 01:20:54 6.1%. Part of that's inflation, right? Yeah. But people are still spending. And so I'm, you know. I just, I get. And earnings, Josh, are really, earnings are good. The GDP could be up 5%.
Starting point is 01:21:10 I don't know for sure, but like, so you have, then it all gets back to AI. So you have the S&P 500 at an all-time high. But get this, 20% of those 500 companies, 20% of the whole value of the S&P is just three companies now. Invidia, Microsoft, and Apple. And there's a couple other big dogs that, so it's kind of an all-chips, all-in, AI story. Yeah, we really are all in. We are all in. SpaceX was trading near its highest levels since it went public last spring.
Starting point is 01:21:45 and that's an AI story for sure. They're borrowing $40 billion with the public. They're going to offer bonds to buy more, you guessed it, Nvidia chips. Yeah. A little self-serving too. So, you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:00 So I understand your fears, but on another hand. I just don't know if people are like spending on credit cards. I would need to see that data. That's a good, good point. Or if people are like, yeah, they're buying things, but they should not be. People are like, that's the problem. And I complain about my generation a lot is like our generation assumed like they want everything now.
Starting point is 01:22:22 So like I know a lot of 30 and 40 year olds who are like, yeah, I eat out four times a week or why wouldn't I want a $600,000 house? And they just put themselves behind the ball from the start. Right. So then your numbers say, yeah, consumer buying is up. Right. But it shouldn't be. Right.
Starting point is 01:22:39 And the bottom's going to fall out. So we should do a layover of the debt on top of that. and see what that looks like, right? And there's that data point that comes out of credit spending or whatever that is. I don't know what that piece of information is. Yeah, I'm not sure either. So that's an important, but if they are spending for right now in the moment we're in, and so it's been...
Starting point is 01:23:01 And going back to diesel prices, I guess right now, we've got a lot of ships coming through the straight, and then they'll go to another ship and offload to that ship, but that's not refined oil. That's not processed. And this shouldn't be a shocker to us. We haven't built a new refinery in 25 years plus, right? Or if we have, it's been very ancillary.
Starting point is 01:23:23 So, yeah, that's something that's an issue. And I don't see that going away, right, right away. No, I mean, it's like, you know, it's the boogeyman of renewable energy sources. You've got to try to look at more of that. You look at China, China just built this gigantic, gosh, I don't know what it is, like a CO2. thing. But I, yeah. Like, they're doing all this renewable stuff, and we're sitting back here arguing over like,
Starting point is 01:23:50 you know, you're saying coal and refinery. It's like, we've got to look at other things. And the world is passing us by. It's not passes us by, but it's, you know, you can feel it a little bit in the air. And it's October. October can be a, I'm looking around the studio here. It can be a spooky month. Can be, yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:08 So, but then, ironically, we're entering, like, what, the biggest quarter of the year in spending, right, with Christmas coming on? It's the fourth quarter. Can you believe it? We're in the fourth quarter. We're in the fourth quarter, yep, 2026. Yeah. So earnings tonight, we have Levi Strauss.
Starting point is 01:24:22 Because we wear your 517 jeans. Oh, I don't wear denim anymore. I got jeans on whether or not Levi's. They're looking for their sales to be up 11%. There's a trend to the 90s style jeans. Dude, you should see these kids. When I pick up my kid in high school, they're all in baggy jeans again. It's crazy.
Starting point is 01:24:37 They're all in baggy jeans and oversized shirts. There you go. Is Levi's one of those companies that owns a bunch of other clothing brands? Are they like a Nestle or whatever? No, I mean, it's pretty much the Levi. Just Levi's, wow. But I might be wrong on that. And they're doing some branded stores, which would be kind of risky for them.
Starting point is 01:24:55 But I always think of Levi's is, you know, when they had the gold rush back in 1849, right? They were the ones selling, you know, instead of being the gold going for the gold, they were selling people to picks, the shovels, and the Levi's. Yeah. And that's where that started. Yeah. we want to find maybe some of those companies in this AI world that gives us a little bit of adjuda, you know, what are the companies who are providing energy to the big data centers?
Starting point is 01:25:23 What are the companies, you know, they're providing the fiber optics, things like that. Oh, my God. I have a buddy in fiber optic sales. The amount of money he's making this year. He's still spending. He's still, he's still, consumers, the orders that are coming in for fiber optics. It's unbelievable. It's unbelievable.
Starting point is 01:25:41 Like, this is a guy who is going to be making, I'll blow up a spot, close to a million dollars. Right. Just off sales commission selling fiber optics. Wow. The money is there. I need his name and number off the year. Back to your Levi's question. Do you wear jeans?
Starting point is 01:25:55 I do. Do you wash your jeans, Lee? Not as much. I saw the CEO. That's a trend. CV. The CEO of Levi, like, was on CNBC one time. I was just saying he never washes them.
Starting point is 01:26:07 That's gene people. Denim people don't wash denim. Right. They put it in the sun. Or just gross. I don't think it's gross. I mean, yeah, obviously there's germs and stuff on it. But denim people will go.
Starting point is 01:26:19 They're not 30. It's not a- Forever. It's not a shirt. It's not underpants. It's not socks. They put it in the freezer and say that's enough. That I don't do.
Starting point is 01:26:28 But denim is like, I don't think it's a magic. It's not a magic cloth. What do you mean they put it in the freezer? Are you just making it? No, it's a real thing. That's how they clean them. Like, if you get really into like denim culturally, which I don't expect you to, they'll either put them out in the sun.
Starting point is 01:26:41 and that's the wash or they put them in the freezer, and that's the wash. But they don't put water to them because then that loosens the denim fibers and all this stuff. Wow. I don't know what's going on in people's lives. I learned something. Listen, get in the market, guys. Trust me, Lee's doing a great job over there. Cody and I are very happy with our results.

Starting point is 01:29:10 phrase, no details of one they can be purchased, but they are making the rounds. I just don't, I don't, I don't want my feet to be cold. No. Maybe if you put on like a pair of socks, so it's not like an ice pack on my feet, but I had to go to the nurse's office because I hurt my foot. I get an ice pack on my foot. Yeah, I don't think I want. I don't want that.
Starting point is 01:29:31 Anyway, I definitely don't want a hot foot. Nope. You don't want a hot foot. We will get into your gaming stream. Oh, what do you need? Presented by Ryan. Yes, this is what we're going to do. What time do you do?
