Starting point is 00:00:00 We interrupt this program. Previously, critics had brailed against the duo as crude, dumb, ugly, thoughtless, sexist, self-destructive, and foolish. They are not part of the legitimate business world. What they do is they celebrate underachievement. And all candor, I would tell you it's outrageous, Phil. And if I could find somewhere constitutionally to do away with it, I would. Wednesday, happy whiskey Wednesday. Oh.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Happy thunderstorms Wednesday, I guess. There's these storms coming through today or what? Break up this dew point. Those all broke up. I mean, out in Buffalo, if you're out in Buffalo, yikes. Yeah, is that going to make it to us? No, little pieces are going to be in like Cortland and whatever it said. It's just been damp.
Starting point is 00:01:10 It's been humid and stuff. It'll say, yes, thunderstorms today. You know, sorry if you look, new outside stuff. Don't, can't. Definitely don't. And then it will rain at all. Yeah, not about it all. Nope, not all.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Yeah, these weather people, they haven't been on it. They haven't on their game lately. No, they have not. And I understand it's hard to do, but like, Damn, Daniel. Lottie and chat says, is the threes company theme song, the worst theme song of all time? Come on, I got a door.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Life has been on a three's company kick. I've been waiting for you. And I don't know the words, but I know that it goes like this. And then the end it goes, Dreams Company 2 That's out of it Good morning everybody I don't think I've ever seen an episode of that
Starting point is 00:01:57 No I've been a I just know the theme song I've been a family matters My summer show has been family matters Was that the Ciberg? Oh okay You do family matters
Starting point is 00:02:09 No I was getting that one confused with Step by step No the one with Alan Thick Oh growing pain Growing pains Growing paints Growing pains No, my show of the summer, some summers at Seinfeld.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Yep. Last summer it was Bob's burgers. Yep. And this year it's Family Matters? This year's been Family Matters. How many seasons are there? Too many. There's too many.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Really? Family Matters. Because if you do what I'm doing right now, I loved it in my childhood. Yeah, I liked it. It was TGI Friday. Yeah. But now I watch it, and they were really, Really reaching, man.
Starting point is 00:02:49 It's weird because after a while they... They really milked it. After a while they start... Oh my, there was nine seasons. Exactly. And the nights, like by the time they get to those last two... They start doing stuff on or Cal. And then they go another one.
Starting point is 00:03:02 So there's... There is an episode that I watched. So those of you who don't know, Steve Urkel wasn't supposed to be the breakout star of that. He was supposed to be the annoying neighbor. He was supposed to be like the Kimmy Gibbler and then he blew up. So they start putting all their money and... in this Steve Urkel gimmick,
Starting point is 00:03:21 there is an episode where, and I forget the name, maybe somebody remember, toward the end, where they're using Jaliel White so much. Yeah. That in an episode, Laura,
Starting point is 00:03:36 all right, how do I describe this? Steve Erkel goes out of town. Okay, so he's gone. But he also then plays his thug cousin from Detroit. Uh-oh. who's macing on Laura. Well, Steve's out of town.
Starting point is 00:03:51 So he's like D-Dog or something? So this is after Stefan? But no, no, no. Oh. But Laura doesn't mess with D-D-D-dog because she's dating Stefan Urkel. So there's an episode. He plays three goddamn Urkels. That's unreal.
Starting point is 00:04:08 They really were like, all right. They're like, what can we get out of this Erkel character? How can we get more Urkel? There was the Urkelos. Yep. Remember the Serial? They really did a bunch with Steve Urkel. And then Jaliel White never did anything ever again.
Starting point is 00:04:24 He's got purple Urkel. Now weed. He's got a weed strain. Yes. Oh, then Mertil Erkel. Exactly. Remember he played... Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:04:31 He played Mertr. His cousin, like he had so many cousins, dude. They had Jaliel White working for his money on that show. They really did. They were like, you know what? They thought Reginald-Vel Johnson would be the star. And they're like, nah, this Joliel White kid's busting out. No.
Starting point is 00:04:44 We got to give him all the screen time, and they do. And once you get towards those final seasons, it's apparent that they're running out of ideas. Yeah, they have no idea what to do. They're probably, I don't, I don't remember them, but they were probably doing ones where I'm sure somebody went back on time. Oh, there's tons of time machine stuff. What were you looking at?
Starting point is 00:05:04 I wanted to see what he was making per episode. What was he? Only 180. Per episode? Yeah. So he got four. I mean, in the 90s, that's pretty impressive. Got four mil a season.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Was he the highest paid on that show? Well, I don't know. He should have been. I would imagine. He should have been. No, the early ones. Because he appeared in 204 of 215 episodes. There were 11 urchal-less episodes of family manners.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Wow. What were those episodes? I would imagine probably the first, what, three, four? Yeah, they probably didn't really. And then a couple more in the first season. Yeah. But like. How dare you go without that?
Starting point is 00:05:46 Can you imagine that? But in his defense, there were. or episodes he was playing three characters. All the... Yeah, also true. But... Thank you, T.K. for the sub.
Starting point is 00:05:53 When they get to the end, I'm sure, again, maybe episode or two where he's dead. He is... I haven't seen those yet. Or frozen himself. Has he frozen? In something, so he is not in the two episodes.
Starting point is 00:06:05 He appears, but he's frozen. There is an episode... You know how sometimes, like, you'll watch an old sitcom, and, like, everything you remember that sitcom is in, like, one episode? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Wasn't there a sign foul, but we're like, it had like the masturbation theater. There was like eight different things. Like the marble rye was in it. I can't remember about the, yeah. It was a family matters episode I watched the other day that had a bunch of things I remembered. And Steve learning to drive and that BMW I, I, I set or whatever it was. Yeah. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Anyways, that's way more Family Matters coverage and you probably want. Number one, Family Batters station. I wish I got home earlier in the day because you know what? leads into family matters, hanging with Mr. Cooper. Well, and that goes, that's a 10. Here's your move. What?
Starting point is 00:06:55 Record them all. Start hanging with Mr. Cooper when you get home. Can't do that. I got to watch live. And then you can just fast forward to all like commercials. No, I can't do it. I got to watch it live.
Starting point is 00:07:04 That's how, that's how those shows were intended. Those shows are not meant to be DVRed and recorded. Because those are meant to be watched live, because like I always say, when the show goes, Yeah, but da-da-da-da-ba-ba. Yep. It's got to go to a Per Plus commercial. Yeah, there's got to be something that happens.
Starting point is 00:07:21 It's got to set me up. What are we going? What do we do? No, we don't do that anymore. Like Laura learns a valuable lesson, and then we go to commercial. Eddie Winslow learns a valuable lesson, or he gets himself in a real pickle. And he's got to call. Who's his buddy there?
Starting point is 00:07:41 Oh, who's that his buddy? The dumb one? Yeah, what the hell's his name? Damn, but I forgot Eddie's buddy, but yes. Hold on, they'll get it in like two seconds, but now I can't remember. It's like right at the... It's at the rib tip of my tongue. It's such a stupid name.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Waldo! Waldo! Eddie and Waldo get themselves in a situation. And it's also weird, the ones... And then Carlos to come save them. They're going to get in trouble. But there's no... But there's no out of it.
Starting point is 00:08:10 So they just go to it. Or the ones where like, somebody pulls out a pack of... cigarettes were quick so it goes Yeah But there's no pause, so it just shoots Right to the next I found cigarettes And because it was Chicago in the 90s and they're
Starting point is 00:08:25 They're, you know, they're an African American family They'll dabble into some racism stuff Like they'll be like racist people Yep all they'll have Just to see how the kids deal with racist people Well because it was a show to To, you know, help teach us things and such So here's a nice lesson
Starting point is 00:08:40 They're like, this is what these people deal with Don't be a racist prick. Twitch.tv. The show. Waldo. Yeah, Waldo. Jeraldo. I love 90s sitcom so much.
Starting point is 00:08:58 And someone wrote that and other people I love 90s sitcom so much. Other people wrote that off as, yep. You're right. Because that was, yeah, Waldo Geraldo Faldo. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Waldo Geraldo. Go with it. So Waldo Geraldo Faldo and Eddie Winslow will get themselves into a jam and Carl's got to come save him, dude. Anyways, that's what this 45-year-old does with his afternoon as always eating a lunch. Yeah, exactly. Tell me those writers smoked weed without telling me.
Starting point is 00:09:28 Call him Waldo Giroldo Faldo, dude. Oh, my God, that's hilarious. 9-1065 K-rock. Nerverna, good morning. I didn't even know to talk about my trip to Aberdeen. I went to Kirk Covemanza. Yeah, that's... That's cool.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Aberdeen, Washington on my vacation a couple weeks ago. I was up there. What was the coolest thing? It was an emotional town. Because it's like, it's just a decrepit logging town that he grew up in. Yeah. It's not like, you know. I'm sure there's nothing really there.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I mean, they can't. I didn't tell the kids that we were going an hour out of our way so I could go to Aberdeen, Washington. If it was right there. It was not right there. We were going this direction to Seattle and Aberdeen. over here. Yeah, but I mean... And I just drove towards Aberdeen. That way right in the middle. Burned down 10 years ago.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Yeah, no, I got to go this way. We can't go. We can't go straight to Seattle guy. Sorry. No, I bet that's cool to see some of the things. But yeah, I bet there's no way to make money off of him. So I can't imagine it's really a touristy. No, they have his house. Like he had, like the house that he grew up in, which if you're a super Nirvana nerd like I am, you can see photos of like, like him and his mom lived in that house, but then his mom and dad broke up, and then he would go live with his dad, and then he came back to that house. And like, you can find photos of the attic bedroom that he had, which is still intact, and like he wrote band logos on the wall and stuff. That's cool. So that's that house. If you just type in Kurt Cobain Attic, you can see them. And they left that in there.
Starting point is 00:11:06 It's all locked up and closed. They haven't done it anymore. You can't go in it yet. That's why it looks the way it does. They want to make it a museum, but I don't know if they're going to They got the funding for that. And who's going to go to Aberdeen, you know? That's what I mean. Yeah, that's a real... There's nothing in Aberdeen. Like what you did.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Yep. Oh, cool. Bye. But not like, oh, we're going to get a hotel. We're going to stay. Tomorrow we're going to go to the museum. And then we're done in Aberdeen. Yeah, there's nothing.
Starting point is 00:11:33 I went down. So, like, you pull in... It's cool because you pulling off, there's this bridge. And it's on the coast, and it's all these, like, you know, logging... boats, I guess. I don't know. It's what the town is. Yeah. And it says, welcome to Aberdeen, come as you are. Obviously, a reference to
Starting point is 00:11:51 Nirvana. And there's like stickers and stuff on that sign and then you go into Aberdeen. And only because I knew the address against Super Nerd. So I was like, we got to, I put it in my GPS where his house was. Yeah. And it's like you're in this, you're like, it literally
Starting point is 00:12:07 could look like central square. You just go to some little, little street. And you go down these like, it's all these like really tiny homes and you go down to his address and it's just there. Was it only you there? Yeah. And I expect in my mind I was like, oh, it's going to be overrun when I pull up. There's going to be so many people at Kirk Cobain's house.
Starting point is 00:12:28 Zero point zero point zero people. I assume there wouldn't. I mean, I mean, one or two a week maybe. So I get out of my car and I ask my wife to take a nice photo off running me over the house. Absolutely would. Can you get a picture of me in front of the house? And she did. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:47 And there's a little plaque that says home of, you know, Kurt Cobain and, like, you know, singer of grunge band. I do love when they have to make sure that. Very museum stuff. Here's what he did. So we're standing there at Kurt's house. And it's just me and my wife. Kids didn't even get out of the car. Kids didn't even get out of car.
Starting point is 00:13:08 No, we're going to. What is this? Dad liked the band a lot. Oh, okay. This is in a gas station? Oh, no, my mom. Snacks here, we eat. So.
Starting point is 00:13:18 You got tenders? I'm just standing there. I'm looking at it. And it makes me emotional because I'm a dork like that. And I'm getting like very emotional that this is his house and what he meant to my life. Yeah. And a random like four Bronco pulls up and a dude kind of younger than me gets out. And he looks at me and he goes, this is house.
Starting point is 00:13:37 And I go, yeah. And he goes, cool. Gets in his car drives away. And I go. Awesome. So he was less, he was interested. He wanted to seek it out because, again, it's not anywhere you're going to go. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:13:52 So then you go around the corner from Kurt's house. His house is on that main street. Again, I say Main Street, guys. It's like, the best way I can describe it is it looks like the beach towns, like in Sylvan Beach and stuff. Like small houses on the water, but it's not as nice as Sylvan Beach. Yeah. And then you go around the corner to what's now Kurt Cobain Memorial Park. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:14 And it was just like a patch of grass because. It's Aberdeen. There's no parks in Aberdeen. Yeah, what are you going to do? And they put up some Kurt Cobain stuff. Like, they made, like, I put a bunch of photos up on my Facebook page. Yeah. There's, like, a guitar statue.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yep. There's, like, a bunch of things with stickers on it. And then you walk down. I saw that plaque by the water there. To the mighty banks of the Wishcah, which is, it is the Wishca River. It looked mighty. It's disgusting. It looked mighty.
Starting point is 00:14:37 It had multiple shopping carts in it. Oh. There's signs that say watch for needles, which is very on par for where I am. Yeah. And that's where they sprinkle the third of his ashes. They put it in that river right there. Oh, really? Oh.
Starting point is 00:14:52 So, yeah. So that was emotional and cool. And then you just kind of, and there's a house right there by the mighty banks of the Wischka. And they put a sign in their yard. It's like a frequently asked question. It's like, no, we didn't know him. No, we never met him. The neighbor Frank knew him if you want to ask Frank.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Please don't steal stuff from our yard. Like that kind of stuff? That's wicked funny. And I was there. again nobody me and the wife got out kids stayed in the car i love that spark is made we're good okay i can't explain to them guys you have no idea how important this is to me right now they okay whatever just whatever they they could get it whatever your favorite musician is right now imagine if he killed himself very very early like when you're 13 when he's your most influential
Starting point is 00:15:37 like the most impactful part of your life that's what happened that's when he dies and kurt lowder comes on TV and tells you that he's dead and you're sitting in your mom's bedroom on her bed and it's like the most impactful memory you have. Yeah. And then another couple of, you know, old millennials like me, pull up and they get out. There's some people
Starting point is 00:15:56 then. Get out of their van and they're like, oh, is this the park? And I go, yep, and they looked around. I like that you were the tour guy. I guess I was like, yes, this is the, this is the Mighty Banks of the Wishka. Come on down here. Come on. I'm going to show you guys some stuff. Watch for needles. Yep, watch for needles.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Then they have a little stand that says Kurt Cobain's air guitar, but there's no guitar there. So then we were trying to explain that. That's funny. Kids were like, my wife's like, no, that says air guitar. My kids are like, what do you mean? There's nothing there. Yeah. We're like, yeah, his, it's an air guitar.
Starting point is 00:16:26 That's the one he played all the time. There's no guitar there. Yeah. He played that one all the time, though. So it was very cool. It's a once in a lifetime thing. Yeah. I went to Average.
Starting point is 00:16:34 It's neat. Long story talking about it. No, it's very neat, though. I'll never be up there again. I got to go see the guy's town. The city of Aberdeen, quote-unquote, I think has like five buildings in it. There was really nothing going on. There was one gas station that clearly had the cheapest gas,
Starting point is 00:16:51 so all the cars were lined up at that gas station. Gotcha. It's just a small town. It's a little tiny town. You're ever up there. Treat yourself to a trip to Aberdeen. Anyways, that's my Nirvana nerd moment of the morning. Just to go back to the top of the show, if you're just tuning in.
Starting point is 00:17:04 I'm talking a lot about family matters, and we had a question. of how many characters Jaliel White played throughout the show. Yes. And we had his cousin from Detroit, his gangster cousin like D-Dog or something. He played Myrtle Urkel, Stefan Erkel, Steve Erkel. And then Cody said, asked, did he ever play a robot? Because he should have had him played a robot. But the voice was his, so I'm counting it.
Starting point is 00:17:37 There was Erkelbot. Yeah. But you looked it up. A different guy was in the Erkel Bot. Yeah, it was. So I had the clip of the debut of Erkelbot. Dancer. It was a dancer.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Boogaloo Shrimps. Boogaloo Shrimps. Or something for guys thing. So Steve Urkel isn't technically in the robot, but there is a fifth character. Gotcha. Of Erkelbot. This is him. So for those of you, just listening to the show right now, he just put a pull.
Starting point is 00:18:09 police badge because Carl Winslow is his hero and Carl's a... I wish I didn't remember this. Police officer. He puts the police badge on Erkelbot to activate Erkelbot. Good music. That's why he had to be a dancer. Look at all this popping and lock him. Erkel bot's walking around the living room.
Starting point is 00:18:40 Boogaloo shrimp. Say words, Erkelbot. This is hilarious that this guy's just walking around. Oh, he just karate-trap the coat rack. Broke their table. That vase doesn't stand a chance. Any other questions? On second thought, I'd be happy to be his partner.
Starting point is 00:19:28 What's the sound? You go to a commercial. All right. Rocket Cola. You know what's the saddest part about Family Matters? This is the show. You're listening to K Rock, your number one Family Matter station. I get sad as an adult watching it.
Starting point is 00:19:43 because Steve's parents wanted nothing to do with him. Do they ever talk about that? His parents are not, they don't ever check on him. No, they don't ever have any. There is an episode where Steve Urkel has an appendicitis and has to go to the hospital. And Carl visits him. And Laura visits him.
Starting point is 00:20:07 And his own family doesn't visit him. Yeah, do they, I mean, I don't remember enough. Does he have family? Do they ever, oh, he's got like 80 cousins. They live next door, but you never see his parents and they're like... Do they ever do an episode of like... I'm neglecting Hercl? That's not...
Starting point is 00:20:23 They just hated it. I'm not laughing erical. I just never thought I'd be asking that. Do they dive deep into the... Do they get real deep into the... Erkel lineage? I mean, come on. I don't...
Starting point is 00:20:35 Hold on. Steve Urkel parents. Do they ever meet him? No, I can't. It was just like that weird, like how he only saw the... I can't find any footage of his parents. Mumpa babies. He sent him back in time, is that what happened?
Starting point is 00:20:53 Yeah. Yeah. He just saw their feet every once in a while. They're like, oh, yeah, and there's his parents. They're over there. They must have paid for the house or whatever. Right? They didn't care what experiments he was doing.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Or he killed him and keeps him alive in like a weekend at Bernie situation. Dark Urkel. Where he like puts him up front to wave, but he's because he's smart. He's smart. He can set him up to sit on the porch and wave when someone walks by. Home Alone style just has their silhouette in the window. Yep, that way he keeps collecting like benefits and stuff. Oh, bro, dark Urkel.
Starting point is 00:21:24 Yeah. They uncovered it. Yeah, they were tired until they were getting their money from wherever. They're getting social security and pensions or whatever. And that's what funded his experiments. Yeah. Where do you think he's getting all this money from all this scientist stuff? I don't like this conversation anymore.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Erkel just got way creepy here. How do you make a name as the city's most compelling compact crossover? Well, the Lexus UX started with a refined suspension tuned for the streets, then added a palette of distinctive, vibrant exterior colors, and kept it going with an available 12.3-inch touchscreen using our intuitive Lexus interface. The Lexus U.S. engineered to fit in, designed to stand out. See Burdick Lexus and Cicero. on Twitch, we're back to our nighttime shows.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Oh, look at this. I'm about a little whiskey Wednesday for you. Excuse me, can I have a sip of whiskey? Well, a little tip there. Twitch.tv slash the show or the show. fm for all of our links. I like to call Cody the enabler, but my wife's a little bit of an enabler too,
Starting point is 00:22:29 and she bought me a new whiskey glass. Oh, nice. She got me a Jameson glass for my birthday. When she goes out with, like, the oldest of thrift stores, she's finding me fun whiskey glass lately. Oh, nice. So I'll be sipping out of that tonight. That's not bad then
Starting point is 00:22:43 You're going to get some Jameson I always got Jameson on tat But I got a I found a bottle of I can't even say the name of the product on the air Because it's got the word It's got the S word in it Do Epic S is what the brand is called I don't want that in your house
Starting point is 00:22:59 It's a vanilla whiskey tonight I wanted to try it's out of Seattle I wanted to try something from my trip but Do Epic S is the brand They got good stuff I hear So I'm gonna try that tonight 7 o'clock Come have a sip with me And technically it starts early with those grapes.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Yeah, right before gaming today, Cody did a concoction. I don't love commercial grade moonshine because it's not real moonshine, but I also don't love real moonshine because it makes me fro up. It's froed up. So this is just that, is it Sugarlands? Is that how that is? Yep. Sugarlin's moonshine.
Starting point is 00:23:32 That's out of Gatlinburg. That's fun. Boss lady was out in Gatlinburg. Oh, nice. So Sugarlin's moonshine, it's not real moonshine, but it's also very sugary. So I'm not going to drink that as booze. So Cody took it. Yeah, we had it just sitting over there forever.
Starting point is 00:23:44 I wasn't going to do anything with it. No. And you soaked some grapes in it? Yep, because we had mentioned there was when we were talking cotton candy grapes and all that stuff. And I went, so however many months ago that was, that's how old these are now.
Starting point is 00:23:58 And they are plump-ass grapes. Yeah, there's some in here that. They soaked up whatever's in there. Oh, my God, man. So that would be nice. Yeah, we'll try that before the gaming stream today on a whiskey Wednesday. This is fruit. I just says fruit.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Because if you're going to, drink, do it at home. Do not drink and drive as I have a new insurance company accident report data which shows the worst drivers and the best drivers. Worst drivers me. He's probably me. I'm a best driver. It's me. My insurance company broke up with me.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Yeah, but because I hit a poll. No, that's not why. Because on a rock hit my windshield. Yeah. That should be illegal. You're forced to have that, but then they can do something as stupid. It makes me angry. It makes me angry for you.
Starting point is 00:24:49 If you don't know the story I'm referencing last year when I rented a car and we went to the Grand Canyon. In the desert, mind you. I don't know what they do with the Grand Canyon, but they like, they must transport rocks in and out of the Grand Canyon and these big trucks. Because all day long, you see giant trucks bringing rocks. One of these trucks threw a bunch of rocks as I passed them. It broke the windshield of his rental car. that was my second at fault accident. The fact that that's considered an accident,
Starting point is 00:25:16 a crack in your windshield. So this last trip when we also rented a van, the PTSD I had anytime I saw a truck. Yeah. If I saw a truck coming up near me. I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're not this time. Uh-uh. You're cutting off construction vehicles and stuff.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Get out of here, devil. You're throwing rocks back at them as you pass them. You stay back! Because I don't know why. I don't know why that's allowed. And I know I'm going to get a lot of hate because you've got a lot of truck drivers that listen. I don't know why I'm allowed to just drive down the street
Starting point is 00:25:48 and there'll be a giant dump truck on 690 full of rocks and it's not covered. No, I wonder that myself all the time. Why is that allowed? Are they breaking a rule? I don't know. Where it's like you, I feel like you needed to stop three or four feet. I get that, you know, it takes longer
Starting point is 00:26:03 because you have to fill it up less. But I feel like it's very dangerous. Where there's like rocks piled up high. If I'm driving behind you and I can see. see the mound of rocks. Like, that's not... Don't be mad at us truck drivers. Just explain to me why that's a lot.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Are they supposed to be covered? I imagine that there's probably supposed to stop at a certain level, but the people in charge, they're probably like, no, no, no, there's more room in there. Let's go. That type stuff. Because some of these trucks have that rollout tarp. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:31 That's like rolled up. Yeah. Why don't you just roll that out? Because that'd be nice. I'm terrified. Yeah. I'm terrified of those rocks flying off there. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Truck driver texting in. We also hate the dump truck debris. They're supposed to cover it. All right, good. All right. But we like your dump trucks. Mm-hmm. Get it.
Starting point is 00:26:53 We like your dump trucks. Get it. So, anyways, back to my traffic data. We do a lot of work. All right, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to hold this from the other side because this is a long discussion about best drivers, worst drivers, kind of cars. I only got two minutes here, so I'm going to run out of time.
Starting point is 00:27:10 But the other side of this. comes from the tire, it's different. I never understood that. It is. I never understood that. If the tire kicks it up the rock, it's different than if it comes off the top of the truck. Well, I don't know. It's already on the road.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Oh, well. I don't know. Yeah, I'm really saying they're supposed to be covered, so if they're just being lazy. So, all right, then I have a right to be bad at you, dump truck drivers. You don't pull your tarps. No, we shake angry fists. Other side of this will tell you who's the best and the worst drivers. The results, they're not going to try you.
Starting point is 00:27:35 Down to business. As. Down to business. Just to be safe here. We do a lot of business with car dealership. So I'm not just saying a negative thing about any of these car brand owners. I'm not saying anything negative about any of these car brands. I'm just sharing with data, okay?
Starting point is 00:27:54 What, what did I miss? Well, I thought you were reading something on the chat. No, just waiting for you. Do I have, I don't know, Trichish, can I at least tell them what you sent? Because I don't want to sell you where you found it. Anyways, back to this. A new report analyzed data from insurance companies on accident reports to come up with a definitive list of the best and worst drivers by V.
Starting point is 00:28:13 vehicle brand. Again, the show on K Rock, Josh, and Cody are not disparaging any of these vehicle brands. But who do you think is the worst drivers, Cody? I always get it wrong and it always has to pee in West Virginia. No, worst brand. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I don't know the big, like those big SUV. Oh, you mean the frailist white woman I ever saw driving the biggest Ford expedition by our parking
Starting point is 00:28:42 lot yesterday. I don't know how she operated it. No. No. It's not the Ford Expedition. Ah, damn it. It's a little... BMW drivers. I was to say it's a little like... BMW drivers. We love our BMW drivers. We love our BMW sponsors. Yeah. But you are the worst drivers, by the way. And you've only got the most dewees. And what's I was going to say, and it's not what I was saying, it's based on
Starting point is 00:29:04 problems just... Oh my God, I can't say it. Statistics. Statistics. Oh, my God. That was harder than it showed a bed. Are we having a stroke? It's a CTE happening? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Throw me in the dumpster. All right. You don't have to take me anywhere. BMWs are by far the worst drivers in the country. 45 incidents per 1,000 accidents throughout the year. They are cited the most for dewees, speeding, and general citations. Okay? Ooh.
Starting point is 00:29:33 Why are you all saying Volkswagen drivers? Oh. Your own chat saying Volkswagen, who do you know who drives Volkswagen? You do. Ah, that's right. Got them. Second worst, again. Don't get mad at us.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Dodd Ram drivers. No, all that. Oh, that's what I should have said. All Black Dodd Ram. If you've got someone riding your ass on the highway with a big lifted truck, it's probably going to be a Dodd Ram driver, right? Again, don't get mad at me. These are the stats.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Well, you could take it to a wedding, a funeral. Anything. Golf with the boys. I saw a photo on a, I saw a video last night. on Reddit of a guy in a Dodge Ram just driving in the bike lane so he didn't need to, so he could pass everybody. Oh, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Yeah, that's not for you. And then the third worst drivers, Tesla drivers. Oh! Tesla drivers. All right. I definitely saw somebody that had one of those ones where they don't have to drive yesterday. That's a thing.
Starting point is 00:30:29 They were 100% on their phone. Just kicking back, yeah. They were just literally just. With two hands. Dude. I'm like, that's terrifying. You saw the video of me riding that Waymo, right? the driverless car?
Starting point is 00:30:42 That's cool. It was awesome. That's so cool. I'm adapting to that future. I know it freaks out a lot of people. I would do it. I don't care. I know it freaks out.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I don't know if I'm ready for highway speeds in a driverless car. Yeah. But just like around cities where you're going 20, 30 miles an hour, I liked it. Because if you're going to get into an accident, you're going to get new an accident. That's why they're called accidents. So, you know, I don't think it's going to matter too much. You open the app. It was our first time ever in a way month.
Starting point is 00:31:12 and you open the app and then you put in like here's not here's where I am come pick me up and we're just outside of our hotel and this white car pulls up and it's got so many sensors like just like spinny like sensors
Starting point is 00:31:27 notices and on the top is an LCD screen that says my initials so then I approach the car and a voice tells me to unlock it with the app I unlock it with the app press wiener on the keypad I get inside and then you You buckle up and you just, there it goes.
Starting point is 00:31:45 That's neat. It was cool. How fast did it get going? We only were in downtown San Francisco, so it went that speed, like maybe 25. Oh, okay. All right. So watching it like stop at stop signs. Start to turn, but then there's a person walking, so it waits for that person.
Starting point is 00:32:01 And then it drives a little bit. And then it's like, pulls over, you get out. Were there any moments where you went? No. Nothing? I felt so safe in it. Because I think it was slow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Again, I'm not going to get in like a 65 mile an hour Waymo. Although, that would be cool. You're just like a quick, you're hopping on the highway real quick to get off on the next exit type deal. Like the dream future for me would be, not that I want this. What? That the Waymo has a head of point. Yeah, shut up, Mitch.
Starting point is 00:32:29 I bet it has. I bet it has. Absolutely. That's better if you'll wamos have killed people. My fantasy, a cool vehicle would be like a driverless van. where like the back, I've got good space, maybe like a little table for a computer. And you're like, I need to go to New York City
Starting point is 00:32:47 and I'm just going to sit the back of this van and for four and a half hours is going to drive me down there. Like how a camper would be the coolest thing because you can just, you got all your things. Oh, I watch a little TV back here. That would be clutch. That would be really sweet for like short trips.
Starting point is 00:33:02 So, who are the best? Who are the best drivers? Well, we throw a lot of shade at the elderly, but I think that they're, These are all old people cars. Also like those big boats. Yeah, Mercury's, Cadillacs, and Chrysler's. My Mercury Sable?
Starting point is 00:33:18 I have the best drivers, 26 incidents per 1,000 incidents nationally. Wait, that... BMW at 45 per 1,000. This had 626. Oh, okay. Oh, okay. The number was reading backwards in my brain. And I think, just to stereotype a little bit,
Starting point is 00:33:38 older people probably aren't going that many places. No. So that's going to lower the statistics. But they get in a lot of accidents. Or they forget the gas and the brake and drive into like a gas station wall or something. Drive into a building doesn't count towards the stats. Now I will take my shade here. And congratulations to Cody, because Nissan didn't make any of these.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Nothing? You're not doing anything bad. We're the number one drivers. Which shocked me because... We're just hanging out. You're on 481 in the middle of the day and you see a Nissan Ultima with three tires. Three tires. Coming at you.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Half of the rear quarter panels hanging off. Two of the windows are smashed. It's going 78. A rogue is riding your ass the entire time on the 81 North. Same with a Honda Civic, but like an older Honda Civic that has not had a muffler on it. Yeah. In 10 years. Yep.
Starting point is 00:34:30 No. The most, the brand that speeds the most? Infinity. Oh, I don't think they're rich people and they're a little entitled. I was going to say, I'm being a little entitled. Like a Jaguar. You're like a, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:43 And go faster in their calls. Again, not sullying any of his brands. We love working with all of you, but BMW and Infinity, you're a wealthier brand. I would go faster. A little more entitled. If my car went fast like some of those,
Starting point is 00:34:55 I'd be ripping around. Like a Lamborghini. Mm-hmm. I know we got some BMW owners listening to this show right now. Sloat out. Slota! Slot out!
Starting point is 00:35:06 Come hang with your boy. Tonight's 7 o'clock on our Twitch channel or just go to the show.fm for all the links and locations. This is something that I saw over a break that might actually help you, because don't you say that Elsa hates the vacuum? It's unreal. Screen marks at it. I can't even go, if I even go and open the closet she's in,
Starting point is 00:35:25 she knows the sound of the door. Like closet doors are the same. I have two of them or three of them. They all sound exactly the same, but she knows when I'm opening that one. And if I even just touch the handle and stuff, yeah, yeah, dives at it. So have you seen what people, people are doing with their dogs?
Starting point is 00:35:40 Yeah, I keep forgetting. I want to try it, but again, I can't even get it out of the closet. I know. So if you don't know the videos, I have a little audio here for you. What people are posting videos of them doing, if you have a dog that hates the vacuum, Freddie hates the vacuum. What dog owners are doing is they're yelling at the vacuum in front of their dog to kind of show the dog? I'm on your side.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I hate this thing too. Yeah. And then the dogs are stopping barking at it because they're like, oh, you get it. You get, okay, I don't need to say anything anymore. You're taking charge of this thing. Good, yes. She's, I don't know how to add to the music because it's TikTok, but. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:26 That sound is her spanking the vacuum telling me, leave the dogs alone. Hey, you leave the dogs alone. I keep forgetting to see if it would, if that actually works. I would love that. If she would stop barking at the, because you can't vacuum when she's even home. I physically cannot vacuum while she is there. It's impossible. I can put her in the other room, but she barks as loud as she can the entire time.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Yeah. I'm vacuuming. Yeah. It's wild. But it's funny. It seems to work. I've seen like three or four videos of the dogs doing what you're saying. Like, all right.
Starting point is 00:36:57 Finally, someone's laying down the law in this house. If you got it. If you got it, good. All right. You hear her vacuum? You hear her? Glad we got this under control. Happy whiskey Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:37:07 I'll be live at 7 o'clock tonight. Twitch.tv. slash the show or the show. dot f um yeah i don't know who's getting wiener tattoos not to get so crass but yeah that's you're big strong man we follow a lot of just different tattoo flash people on instagram and someone posted tattoo flasher like are you ready for your it's Halloween time genital tattoo get a snake wrapped around your wiener shlong like with tattoos like that i don't know who is it for is it because you have like a pain fetish maybe or i don't know is your dong out
Starting point is 00:37:40 that much that Right, just showing It needs artwork on it? Yeah. You're just like showing it off. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:37:48 I really don't know. Anyways, wheel of tattoos this year. We'll have one weiner tattoo on it. So, sorry. The tramp stamp spot now is Weiner tattoo. Weir tattoo. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:37:59 And Cody's right. One of the, and how many times can you wrap something around it? Like, damn dude? Dubud, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:38:07 That snakes. That's a slithery. That's a slithery. Can I get a slug tattooed on there instead? I mean, that seems a little more... Got half a pack of certs tattooed on it? All right. Search reference.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Topical. It's get like, you know, you can pull a snail out of the shell like that right there. You know what I'm saying? So a woman in Kentucky woke up, and this shouldn't shock you down in Kentucky. She woke up. I got to go. She woke up to discover a bear had broken into her house to eat her leftover Kentucky fried chicken. Hey. Is it true?
Starting point is 00:38:43 That they can't call it Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore. They have to call it KFC or is that just stupid internet rumor? Oh, I don't know. That goes back years ago. They're like, did you know? Yes. I'm maybe even in like in the late 90s or whatever, but like they did all their branding KFC and I was like, do you know the day had to legally change it to KFC because they're not serving chicken? I hope not. So they can't call it Kentucky Fried Chicken. I just assumed it was for the branding of being like, this is a little easier to just KFC. And as Cody and I say, on the show here, if they ain't serving chicken, I like whatever they're serving.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Whatever it is delicious. If it's just pigeon, I'll eat. Rattlesnake meat, delicious. Love it. Is that a pigeon or a seagull sandwich? I love it. Hey, let me ask. What?
Starting point is 00:39:29 Did KFC have to change their name legally to KFC from Kentucky Fried Chicken? Hmm? No. KFC didn't have to change its name legally. The switch from Kentucky Fried Chicken to KFC in 1991 was a marketing decision. Not a legal. I remember that was back before the Internet. Kids, before the Internet, you could just show up to school and say anything.
Starting point is 00:39:52 Thanks, BFC at home. We're seeing each other now. You have a relationship with your AI, buddy? Dude. She has a name, but that's okay. You can disrespect her all you want. Not to get political. You probably don't know who Tommy Tauberville is.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Do you know who he is because he's a coach? I know because of that. He's in our government now. Yeah, he's not smart. He's a very dumb man. But he admitted that he just, on long drives, he likes to have conversations with AI. Did you see that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:21 That's nuts. That's nuts behavior. Like, I can't even, I don't even know. Megan Lynn for that sub and Twitch. If you just start talking to it, here's the thing I don't love about where AI's taking us. And I think they'll be pushback. In my industry, our industry, they're doing AI podcast now. So, like, you can just say, I want to hear a podcast about last night's baseball games.
Starting point is 00:40:46 And it'll spit one out. Oh, I don't like that. Or like Tommy Tuberville does where he's like, I need to have a conversation with somebody. So you just talk to or did you see what? Talk to yourself like the rest of us. You see what Psycho Sam Altman does? He's like, and people were dragging him because he's like, Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:41:05 I like to get up in the morning and ask AI to generate a podcast for my children to talk to them about their days and the sports they like. And people are like, why don't you just talk to your children? Yeah, you could probably do that. You'll find out. Get all that info, just streamlined. Why don't, why don't you do it? Well, a little time. And I like, I know I sound like a boomer because, and I'll get back to this KFC thing in a minute.
Starting point is 00:41:27 I know I sound like a boomer because I don't love it. My oldest has that Spotify AI DJ. Have you ever heard that? No. So there's like an, on Spotify, you can do, you can have an AI DJ. where it's like, you are, and this is literal things that this AI will say to my kid, you were one of the top Green Day listeners last week. Here's one of their best one, like, and it's a pretty real voice.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Okay. Interesting. Hyping up your personalized things. I just don't, A, I don't love it because it just takes more people off the radio, and I feel like radio's already irreversibly broken at this point, but I just don't know what that's for. Like, just talking up a song, I'm like, All right.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Talking up a song, fine. I think it's just personalizing your listening experience, letting you know, hey, you're a been listening to a ton of Green Day. Here's a song for. Here's a boulevard of broken dreams or whatever. Yeah. But if you, like, you're not, I don't think you're tech savvy enough to do it, but if you were when you like, because you like to get up and listen to your sports
Starting point is 00:42:33 shows, right? If you could get in your car and be like, give me a podcast about the Braves last night. would you like that if it's because the voices aren't that robotic anymore i don't i don't this show's been a i for six years i don't i don't know i don't know because i'm still of the i'm old school you know we're of that era of i still like the the you know local or whatever yeah yeah yeah well not paul yet it's not what i mean like you know like sports well say local sports guys yeah yeah because that's one of the fun things that i try to do with c
Starting point is 00:43:10 serious and the reason I pay a couple bucks to get like the Dallas Cowboys some access to like some of their local It's a human doing it, yeah. And you know, yeah, that's more of it as they are, they've experienced it and like are there and like the Dallas Cowboys guys are going to the training camp.
Starting point is 00:43:28 They're at practices. You know what I mean? Then they come back and they can tell you about it as opposed to all right, spit me out the podcast about the Dallas Cowboys Seattle Seahawks preseason game and then it does, whereas these guys were there. Sure. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:43:43 There's more... Where I think AI would give you just more facts. Like, this game will happen between these two teams and here, blah, blah, la, la. You want a little more color. You want more... Yep. I like the back and forth. But when I see my 17-year-old using Spotify DJ, I'm like, I wonder if that's what they're going to do.
Starting point is 00:43:58 Like, I could get on this whole soapbox about radio. It's been pissing me off. Because you've seen this list last year of just layoffs at her layoffs. Yeah. Because the people that own radio stations, are some of the dumbest people you're ever going to meet. The people that manage radio stations are some of the dumbest people you're ever going to meet. It's nuts.
Starting point is 00:44:13 It's nuts. We have six people here. Yeah. And it's not even us. Like, think back to your Clear Channel days. How stupid were those people that ran those stations? Think back to my cumulus days, Citadel days. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:25 The people that are in charge of radio stations, they never had air shifts. No, it was. They're salespeople. I was just going to say it's like when they brought in what's his nuts for the office. He ran a steel mill. What the hell does he know about paper? David. They're not David, the other guy.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Yeah. Charles, Charles. Everybody that runs radio corporations now have never been on the air, or they had an air shift in 1978. They still talk about. Belbeck and Ardenie. Everybody who runs Clear Channel, ironically renamed I-Heart Radio, which is a lie.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Same with like, you know, everybody that runs cumulus or whatever. The reason they lay off jocks is because they've never been one. No. They were salespeople that failed upwards, and they only care about revenue. So they see, well, I can cut some money here. I'll get rid of that midday guy. I'll get rid of that afternoon guy, blah, blah, blah, blah. They don't need that.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Because they're so stupid. Ten years ago, they should have been doing the opposite in investing in personalities. Because you look at all entertainment now. It's all personality-driven. Every YouTube show, every Spotify podcast, every thing you listen to, you like it because of the personality. Probably even us. You like whatever little personality, we have, you like personality.
Starting point is 00:45:39 They're somewhere. So 10 years ago, these morons at the top of radio companies should have been like, hey, we need to get, like, we need to work on getting real good personalities to drive this. It's the one thing that separates us from streaming music. Yeah, I was to say, there's only one thing that separates the difference between the two. It's personalities. It's the one thing that we had that they don't have. And what they do, they went the opposite way.
Starting point is 00:46:00 Because they're morons. Because they got it. And they're killing an industry that I love. Yep. Because the rich people need another. And it only saves them. Couple grand or whatever. You're fired midday jocks that make 40 grand a year for what?
Starting point is 00:46:13 For no reason. They kick the can down the road a little longer. You already screwed up. You already screwed up. There's no coming back from what you've done. The last the Ludeikies of the world. 10 years here. You know, all these guys that ran these corporations into the ground.
Starting point is 00:46:26 And it's not just here. It's everywhere. But, you know, obviously, we're here. It's everywhere. It's insane. Just reading, you know, because we're on about you. I'm still subscribed to some of those like, oh, insider radio, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:46:39 They all just stroke each other off nonstop. Yeah, and just reading like the cuts come in in Phoenix Arizona. Yeah, it's everywhere in our industry, especially this last year. I think Q2 reports came out and all these corporations are panicking because they didn't, they didn't shift their business model. That's a goal like they should have. They have no idea how to come up with ideas. They have nothing creative to offer.
Starting point is 00:47:03 So now they're stuck. The only way they can do anything is to cut as. as opposed to generate. Yeah. And they don't know how to generate because they don't understand entertainment. None of them do. They've never done it.
Starting point is 00:47:13 They've never been on a mic. They've never made a video. There's salespeople that failed upwards and now they're in charge of things in an entertainment medium. Listen, I'm on my soapbox. And don't get me wrong. There's plenty of jocks that do deserve to get fired.
Starting point is 00:47:28 They're just not good at their job. There's plenty of those. Those have them all the time. There's a bunch. We've worked with them. They're just not good. Or they don't work hard. Or they don't put in the time.
Starting point is 00:47:36 Nothing you can do. But there's a lot of great jocks out there that do get fired because these suckholes at the top are terrible at everything they've ever done. Yep. And the only way they can save it is. And then they all go to big dinners together and they pat themselves. Hey, we're going to swear to the media people. Look at how great we are. I got a nice car.
Starting point is 00:47:55 Hey, remember that bear who ate the Kentucky fried chicken? Let's go back to that. There ain't nothing more than I'm getting soapboxy and talking chicken. Two things I like. Bitching about the radio industry. and Kentucky front chicken. Not wrong, though. I can talk chicken all day, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:48:10 It's Wednesday. That means Golden Spike's finally off the rass and taking Monday and Tuesday off so I can get some damn chicken tender. Get back to work, Golden Spike. My boy wants to tend. Take you two full days off. Oh, yeah, you're over in East Cues. Family restaurant.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Who do you think you are? Oh, my God. Who do you think you are? Is that what tonight's dinner is then? That might. I haven't had it in like four days. You're over in East Cues, man. I as well. Woman in Kentucky wakes up, finds a bear has eaten her leftover KFC.
Starting point is 00:48:34 And honestly, I'm on the side of the animal. You're just going to leave that KFC around? You can't do that when you're in those places, man. Can't do that. Where is she again? Kentucky. Oh, I don't know why. You thought she was in a tent?
Starting point is 00:48:44 Yeah, I thought she was camping for some reason. Woman in Kentucky woke up to discover, a bared wandered into her home. Oh, okay. That's what over? Through an open door. Strike two, hon. What is she doing?
Starting point is 00:48:53 Strike two. What are we doing here? Is she wearing the... Are you new at life? I mean... Are you new at life? I'm just going to leave this... Bucket of chicken on the table.
Starting point is 00:49:05 I'm going to leave my door open here. Good night in from the other room. I ain't one to victim blame, but bud. But. Oops. I guess I dropped this jar of honey. Oh, no. I've covered my body and honey.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Hope no bees show up. My sister started calling me at like five in the morning, and I answered the call, and she was like, bro, there's a bear, and it just walked out of your house, and it came down your steps. It came and looked at me dead in the eyes on my side. of the yard. She said she actually heard the table shatter from inside her house and she thought that it was a car wreck outside. I'm a little sad over my KFC. Definitely don't leave your leftover KFC on the kitchen table and make sure door is shut very well. So the sister
Starting point is 00:49:50 was, it, wow. So at 5 o'clock in the morning, the other sister is in, outside. You know, you know, let me, let me put, all right. She hears the, I want you to understand what we just listen to. I want you to be in the aisle of a dollar general and you're minding your business. Yeah. And this is the woman at the counter recounting something that happened to her, all right? My sister. Yeah, I want you to put,
Starting point is 00:50:16 now I want you to be in the aisle of a dollar general. You're standing right there just looking at. You're looking at maybe the cereals or something. And this is what you hear from the front of the store. My sister started calling me at like five in the morning. And I answered the call and she was like, bro. There's a bear. And it just walked out of your house.
Starting point is 00:50:32 And it came down your step. It came and looked at me dead in the eyes on my side of the yard. She said she actually heard the table shatter from inside her house and she thought that it was a car wreck outside. I'm a little sad over my KFC. Definitely don't leave your leftover KFC on the kitchen table. Definitely not. And make sure door is shut very well.
Starting point is 00:50:49 Sweet. It's sweet. That's hilarious. If you treat it like your eavesdropping and a dollar general, it's kind of has more sense. Then it's funny. Like, oh, I get it. Your sister who lives next door.
Starting point is 00:51:00 But she heard the glass table shatter, which makes sense if she's outside from her side of the york. But the sister inside didn't hear her own table? Just chatter. Grab the honey nut Cheerios. Let's get out of here. 7 o'clock jump on Twitch.tv slash the show. Or just go to the show.com for all the links.
Starting point is 00:51:22 We're going to drink, I can't say the name of the brand. Do Epic. Oh, yeah. Is the name of the brand. It's a vanilla whiskey out of the Pacific Northwest. I look forward to trying it. generally don't like flavored whiskeys, but I like the name of the brand. I like that it was out of the Pacific Northwest.
Starting point is 00:51:38 And I do like vanilla, so I'll give that a go. They supposedly have other products. I don't know what. Delicious. And then. It's tasty. Not, not for Whiskey Wednesday because I don't have yet, but eventually you have yourself some buzzball.
Starting point is 00:51:51 I went over to the liquor store right after you sent me that because I was, it was like, I'm going to go right now. I'm going to go right now. And they didn't have them yet. You lucked out. I can't tell if I sent you AI or not. Do those exist? No, I, Google it.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Those are real? I googled it. And I showed her the picture and she went, not yet. And I went, okay. So they are real? Yeah. They, dude, they're. I had a little solace.
Starting point is 00:52:13 I wish I bought stock in them. And Buzzball, yeah. It's crazy. You were ahead of the curve. It's crazy. I don't know what this means. Maybe if Ben is still in chat, maybe he can tell me. I sent Cody a photo.
Starting point is 00:52:25 I can probably show Twitch. Hold on a second. Yeah, let me show Twitch and YouTube, the show. Dot FM. Although a lot of their ones like that, I mean, not that I like them anyway. are not so good when they get into the... The flavored buzzballs? No, no, like the...
Starting point is 00:52:40 What's what I'm looking for? Like the thicker of the... You know, like, like a... The food-flavored ones. You know what I mean? Like the ones that are supposed to be, like, chocolatey milk and such. For those of you listening on the radio or podcast,
Starting point is 00:52:54 there was two buzzball flavors I saw yesterday. The Pop Tarts Frosted Smoors and the Pop Tarts Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Because that's the best Pop-Tart. He's wrong about that. But anyways, and I do like it. Remember, I took back my claim? Remember last year I came in and apologized
Starting point is 00:53:13 because I did eat a brown sugar? Oh, yes, yes, yes. And I ended up liking it? Say, Buzzball. No, no. But do you see what confuses me? I never read a buzzball label. Did you see what it says?
Starting point is 00:53:26 Vodka with other than standard orange wine and natural flavors. and I had to Google this. Maybe Ben can describe it better. What? Other than standard orange wine, O-T-S-O-W. What? Yeah, it's like a base malt booze. It means something in the booze biz.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Ben, what does that mean? We don't have one. Other than standard orange wine. Interesting. I don't know. It's like a what they say, orange wine is fortified wine that's like 24% ABP.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Yeah. A little that in there. So it's just a phrase in the liquor, biz, I guess, others than standard orange wine to get you drunk faster. Interesting. Those are going to taste disgusting. And it's going to give you the worst hangar. Because the worst one ever was
Starting point is 00:54:11 the, and I don't remember the exact flavor, but the Will Ferrell elf. It was like a maple syrup something, but it tasted like thick maple chocolate milk. No, no, thank you. It was not good. But all that, by the time
Starting point is 00:54:27 the second week of lie right around there. The buzzball section at the liquor store that I frequent was from you to me probably about this long. Of buzz balls?
Starting point is 00:54:44 Of varieties. Yeah, and Ben is saying in chat, Ben's in the beverage business. He says they use orange wine to get around the vodka laws to allow them to distribute to places like Walgreens. That was weird when you see them in spots like that because I didn't realize
Starting point is 00:54:59 but I just wondered myself how they got away with you know, how they got fireball and stuff like that in the other stores. It's the lower proof fireball. It's not whiskey. It's a malted beverage, but they put it in the bottle. If they were doing the same, because they're not that high with the ABV,
Starting point is 00:55:13 but you're doing it off. I don't know, man. If you're in a Walgreens and you're like, I want to get some booze. And in the beer cooler, you can get a 5% beer for a buzz ball that's, what, 15? 15%.
Starting point is 00:55:27 Yeah. You're going to go. You're like, all right. I don't know who they appeal to. Like, I'm asking you the audience. College kids, I assume. I've never had anybody text in and say, I actually love buzzball.
Starting point is 00:55:42 We've had a couple people. They do? Yeah, I bet if you ask now, I bet people will be like, oh, we have them for this or blah, blah, blah. They're fun. Because Garrett says, on vacation, my brother-in-law's wife opened a great buzzball,
Starting point is 00:55:53 took one sip dumped out the rest. As much as when I, when we say that we like them, Yeah. It's not even that we like them. It's that that one isn't as sweet or whatever as all the others. But none of them are like, I'm going to get this. This is just what the youths are drinking.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Yes, without trying to sound as old as I possibly can. We all. It's those ones where a bunch of the 20-somethings are having a fun party and some people bring some buzz balls, you know, stuff like that. So we had Hooper's Hooch and we had. Yeah. MD20s and like, I say we like I was at parties. You guys.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Yes. You guys had these things. Um, what's the candy in the bottom of the booze with the Goldschlager? No, no. Um, it's like rock candy. Damn it. Oh, aftershock? Aftershock was gone.
Starting point is 00:56:46 Yeah. The Boone's farms. I don't think I've ever had Aftershock. I haven't. I started drinking way later. Texline says it's cheaper than mine, four bottles. Yeah, what do they cost? What's a buzzball cost?
Starting point is 00:56:57 You've never bought one? No, I have. You forget. I don't ever. It's one of those where I don't care. I'm going to buy it. I got to get this anyway. I'm going to buy it.
Starting point is 00:57:05 Like three, four bucks, maybe? Yeah. They're not too bad. So it's like how in the 90s we had our flavored beverages. Yeah. Hooppers hoops. And. Or a pocker like that.
Starting point is 00:57:17 Yes. With how sweet they are and like the flavor. I bet they're really good to mix your other booze with. Like take actual. actual whiskey or whatever the flavor of the buzz ball is. There's a guy at TikTok Joey Sips that does every day he says like if you're going to get a little drunk on a Tuesday, blah, blah, blah. And he'll do like, here's a glass, here's an ice, here's, you know, he'll do like patron.
Starting point is 00:57:44 And then he'll do a buzz ball on it. And even for a booze bag like me, that's too much. It's just, I don't, yeah, that's, I don't like the mixing of those two flavors is weird. But those are, that's, I discovered Buzzwall's, I've not had them, but I was always seeing them first in those videos we see that we think, I can, I think it's the laws around here that it would be a great idea of those videos of those places that you walk in. It's just a big cup of ice that you buy and inside of it's got a buzz ball and two shots of vodka and a powerade. And this one's the, the blue monster. Yeah, you can't do that in the state of New York, but all these, like you're saying, these. That's just fun.
Starting point is 00:58:26 That looks fun. I would even get those. And you'd mix them up, head of the beach? Yeah, why not? Yeah, there's another, yeah. Ken says there's another version called Big Sips. It has a large format bottle that essentially pre-made Borgs. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:58:41 Oh, boy. Borgs, man. That's crazy. So I think it's just like this is, our kids still drinking jungle juice? Or is this their answer to that? See, Jungle Juice, to me, was. As the kids get back to college as week. Everything is just mixing together.
Starting point is 00:58:55 vodka, here's coolate, here's orange juice, here's gin, here's whiskey, here's fruit punch, here's Sprite. Like, even I in college knew, I was aware of Jungle Juice because I was the D-D, and they were just pouring every bottom shelf
Starting point is 00:59:07 liquor into... I've had a couple cups of that, but that, and luckily I'd never, I've seen them, I'd never done the ice luge. That was like, that's how you get to these. That's how everyone catches cold.
Starting point is 00:59:22 Right there. But your beer pong, ice luge, all that. Well, Beer Pong, we, again, we had the water cups full of who knows whose hairs. Yeah. So I've done all I can. I want to try Fat Mike from the band Noah Fax. I don't know if you know him. He just released a vodka.
Starting point is 00:59:40 But I think it's literally called bottom shelf vodka. Like he's making it bought. It's cheap vodka. Yeah, yeah. And he's selling. I want to try that. That's cool. But that's who's drinking him.
Starting point is 00:59:51 And you get the buzz balls in various sizes now. And you will. And the beat. Have we had beatboxes? No. Those are the other versions. I still, those are a little more expensive. I see those and it's more just the bright colors that get my five-year-old.
Starting point is 01:00:05 They're really cool packaging, yeah. Brain going. Oh, look at him. Yeah. I should get that. And I'm like, no. The other guy in the other side of me's called, don't want that. It's just the colors you like.
Starting point is 01:00:15 Yeah, beat box uses the orange wine loophole as well. Interesting. To get him into the stores. Yeah, Stacey's right. Borgs are the new jungle juice. Remember what we learned about Borgs? it's the blackout ready gallon or whatever it means
Starting point is 01:00:29 fill up a milk carton or whatever the floor yeah yeah oh dude that's dangerous again I don't I don't drink anywhere about my house now but back during parade day
Starting point is 01:00:40 remember when you could go and get a like a half gallon of like a beer at St. Patrick's Day parade or a cider and you just get a half gallon a cider and walk the streets with it yep I don't think it was when you're allowed to like
Starting point is 01:00:54 drink outside around here. It's pretty awesome. They kind of just shut down all the rules. I think it's easier just to be like... Oh, at St. Patrick's Day Parade Day? No, you're not going to stop anybody. You're not around here. Out there and like Taste Syracuse and stuff like that.
Starting point is 01:01:10 Oh, yeah, Tate Syracuse and other. Not a... Especially after the winter has broke. Yeah. There's something in our central New York. And I don't know if this is like this at the Utica parade as well. We've been to both. If it's like a 60-degree day,
Starting point is 01:01:24 on parade day? There's no laws. No, you do it everyone. As long as you don't like technically kill someone. Technically, if you accidentally kill someone. And we'll look into it. We'll look into it, but it's parade day, we get it. We'll understand.
Starting point is 01:01:38 Anyways, oh my God, they're selling 40 ounces of Utica Club. Two for four at Haniford right now. Oh, no thank you. At least you sees a beer. Like Utica Club is at least a beer, whereas 40 ounces are usually malt liquor. I think this is the time where the most Utica people come at me with their pitchforks. They love their U-Cs and fire because I-I-H-Girl Tammy and chat.
Starting point is 01:02:03 That's her beer, UCs, bud. I don't dislike it. It's obviously not top-tier beer. No, I know. You guys love it. But it's in the same category of like a Jenny cream ale. Right? It's like in the same area.
Starting point is 01:02:16 Yeah. It's cheaper than soda. You really is. Cheever than water, Ken? What are you going to get? A 40 ounce of Utica Club in Hanford right now is. cheaper than water. Tell me to get two tree pops. Two tree?
Starting point is 01:02:29 Can't tell me. I'm going to guys I could have the drink in my own house? Did we ever do 40s in here for Beer Friday? We talked about it. Did Joel and Chris bring in 40s? I don't know. I don't think I like 40s. I don't like malt liquor. It depends. Back in the day, we would do Steelers for
Starting point is 01:02:46 random things and you'd get in college like the Colt. 45 or whatever. For the saint Ides. For fun. once in a while. Yeah. I don't even know
Starting point is 01:02:57 if we ever tried to do Edward 40 hands. No, I never did that. No. I can't, I don't really remember. But again, I like to remind the audience
Starting point is 01:03:05 that Cody's college room had a jug of wine that all visitors were encouraged to take a sip out of. You go in or out. You go in or out. You got it. It was right.
Starting point is 01:03:14 As soon as you open the door, you open the door, you take one step immediately to your left is the giant thing of Rossy wine or whatever. And there's a handle and you had to just grab it. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:03:24 I, why? That's why. It's 8.30 in the morning. I don't care. You're going to class. You got to have a little wine. sucks for you. Yeah, Ben was slamming Mickey's wide mouse in college.
Starting point is 01:03:35 Gary said back in college, we do a 40 right at the beginning of Raw every week. And your stepfather is, you see in the cooler right now on their trip. Yeah, well. More for him. More for him. Stacey and Chad says, Borgs are very dangerous. Try having your daughter explain them to you.
Starting point is 01:03:53 she claims they put liquid IV in there, you know, for the hydration. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We're drinking our borgs, but at least we're having some liquid hydration. The amount of those you see after, like, say, Patty stuff up around, like the Tip Hill area. Oh, yeah, yeah. You just see him sat on the corner like, oh, oh, boy. The borg just half drank borg? Like, I don't think milk is green.
Starting point is 01:04:15 No, and that's way too much liquor for a body. Yeah, you can't. I don't care how much you drink. No, and I get the, like, well, you're going for, but it's just too dangerous. Too dangerous. It's too dangerous. You can put a couple shots in it to like, you know, get you through, but then it's got to be like 10% booze, 90 other liquid. Yeah, text line says, I went to Dave and Busters and mixed buzz balls with Long Island iced tea.
Starting point is 01:04:42 Yeah, that was a horrible idea. There you go. Yeah, you're going to be laid out for two, three days after that. Just a lot of sugar. That's so much. Just a lot of sugar. Anyway, so, listen, those are your new two buzz balls that are keeping eye out for them. Yeah, let us go. Because he's going to buy him. He's going to make me try on one of them. It's going to be super gross. Yep.
Starting point is 01:04:59 Why aren't you over at the show. Dot FM? We got all our streams there, all our podcasts, all our links. What are you doing? What are you doing? You don't got to subscribe to anything to watch anything over at the show. Dot FM because that's where you can watch me tonight. 7 o'clock for a whiskey Wednesday show at 7pm on the Twitch and the show.
Starting point is 01:05:17 World Wide Web, bro. Congratulations to Jenny Lou. The 2006 World's Up. ugliest dog. Oh, no. Oh, is that the one that was on the, yep. Six-year-old pug. Named Ginny Lou has won the contest.
Starting point is 01:05:33 Poor tongue. Why is it dog, for those of you listening, it's a pug, but it's got that stupid dog tongue that just hangs out of its mouth? Right, for no reason. Why does that happen? I have no idea. This one looks like it, like,
Starting point is 01:05:44 did it have a stroke type deal? Because it looks like it's not the usual tongue out of the mouth thing. But little dogs, because I saw a little dog while we were off walking on the sidewalk and it just had its tongue hanging out of his mouth. They got too much tongue? Much like your mother's.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Help someone, they're like panting, right? Thank you, Kujo for that sub. Kujo, subscribe, resubscribe when we're talking about that. That's funny. The dog, who finished second last year, came back? No, no.
Starting point is 01:06:15 Let that ugly one die off and then we'll come back. I'll be back to be ugliest next year. I'll be back. I'll get even uglier next year. You'll see, uh-huh. Don't worry about it. She was adopted four years ago. They took home a trophy and a $5,000 prize.
Starting point is 01:06:29 Damn. Ginny Lou's face will appear on a limited run of mug root beer cans. Oh. Shout out mug root beer. I didn't know you were still in the game. Mug Rupir partnering with the ugliest dog contest. Mug Rupier doesn't do a drop of marketing all you want. They only need the ugliest, hey, the ugliest dog mug.
Starting point is 01:06:48 That's all we need. Nah, we're partner. Yeah. Hey, I get it though because of the mug. Good call. Good call. Yep. Yep, that's it.
Starting point is 01:06:55 That's all we need. Because you know about it. You don't have to say much. What marketing are we doing this year? We're going to do the ugliest dog contest. Okay, but what else? That's it. We're giving the ugliest dog we can find five grand.
Starting point is 01:07:07 That's it. Excuse me? Yeah, but what else are we doing to promote the beverage, our rupeer? The dog thing, that's all I... I don't know. After hearing, you know, seeing how much they do for us out there. That doesn't sound too bad. I'll promote some mug roopier.
Starting point is 01:07:21 I'll promote some mug here. I can be a group here. some mug beer. Here. Yeah. Tongs out. Tung's out. Give me five grand.
Starting point is 01:07:26 No, they just had a meeting with mug group here. Their money's all tied up in the ugly dog contest. They got no budget. That's a problem. They got no budget. They're going to do that in billboards. It was the 50th anniversary. The second place dog was a Chihuahua
Starting point is 01:07:40 Pomeranian mix. And then the third place was a Chihuahua mix. So the little dogs are ugly. Yeah, mostly. Sometimes I think they can tell they're ugly. Other times I don't know. Like, that dog I don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:52 doesn't know, doesn't know. Most of them don't have any thoughts between the eyes anyway, because it's, you know, they're dogs. But because it seems like I'm the only one aware of this. This is not anywhere like on the news. I feel like we need to, as media representatives, apologize to Ginny Lou from Philadelphia. So right now, if you Google Ginny Lou world's ugliest, naturally you're going to get a lot of stories about Ginny Lou, the ugly. ugliest dog from 2026.
Starting point is 01:08:25 Yep. But no one's talking about poor Ginny Lou M.D., a doctor from Pennsylvania, who now comes up in surfers, oh, no. Yo, what's up? She's a doctor? What's that, girl? She went to Drexel for a college of medicine.
Starting point is 01:08:42 She has vascular surgery and cultural differences. She's a doctor, and now... She's getting drag. She's getting dragged. Poor Ginny Lou, MD. So, a lot of the show. on K Rock to apologize to the doctor out of Pennsylvania, who is also named Ginny Lou. Poor Ginny Lou. And is in the search results for when you look up world's ugliest.
Starting point is 01:09:03 Someone's out there calling her a roast beast. The show.com. FM for tonight's live stream. Whiskey Wednesday at 7 o'clock. Tomorrow night, Coco Pop's at 7 o'clock. You know. They do shows about being deviant. Can't get enough of our stupid asses.
Starting point is 01:09:15 We'll be back there. We're on all the time. We're always doing something. They're drinking smoke drugs. I'll tell you what. We do. Actually, we do. So a 23-year-old man was arrested in Tokyo at the airport
Starting point is 01:09:25 After customs discovered? Tokyo A live Animal Okay, you're on the right path Dead animal. No? Live animal.
Starting point is 01:09:42 All but one was alive. Oh, I'm going to tell you this. Exotic birds. You're getting close. There were 200, of them. Fish. Turtles.
Starting point is 01:09:54 That's a lot. Turtles is a lot. 200 turtles? No, but it's a rutile. Ooh, lizard, lizard, lizards. Yeah. Frogs. Twos.
Starting point is 01:10:02 Lizards. Oh. 200 lizards. That's like a hundred eight or so too many lizards. One did die. I guess he had wrapped them in socks. So like you take the lizards,
Starting point is 01:10:12 wrap them in socks, put them in his luggage. And then hope that they could just not die for 10 hours. Mm-hmm. Damn. Imagine you're the that lizard? You're like all the sudden you grab from.
Starting point is 01:10:24 I'm just like imagine being, that would be like a big sleeping bag for a lizard, right? I guess. He's looking breathe great. Yeah. The reason why is I guess these lizards that he had in his socks, he flies to Mexico, buys them for $350 to $4 a piece, and then when he gets to Japan, he can sell him for $600. I would put with those lizards. That's a pretty good flip.
Starting point is 01:10:50 I'd probably put a couple up my butt. For that much money? Yeah, lizards are going on my butt. Sorry. As security said, if there's a market for it, people will attempt to smuggle it. And he was. Keister and lizards. Mickey says, wouldn't 200 socks put up a red flag?
Starting point is 01:11:02 He only did it in 22, so he must have put like a bunch of lizards. Yeah. Like 10 lizards into a pair of socks. That's so much. Wow. Like, and then you get, yeah, Nebraska's right. Like, if this goes well, you're going to open up your suitcase and it's going to smell like lizard poop, right? He leads it to the buyer and he's like, all right, listen, let me see the lizards.
Starting point is 01:11:22 And he's like, okay, hold on. I'd say I got to get my luggage, huh? Open this suitcase in front of them. They're wrapped up in my socks. Yeah, that's too many scoops of lizards. I agree, Mickey. It's a lot of scoops of lizards right there. Security said it happens more often than any of us would like to admit.
Starting point is 01:11:35 No, I can guarantee that. Just something simple, like whatever lizard he's getting from Mexico. If you can flip it for basically a $600 profit? Yeah, bud. That's, you banned. the keister and lizards is open for the black dolly murder. Oh, that'll be fun. Yep.
Starting point is 01:11:54 Yep. I mean, that seems like a higher, that seems like a higher profit than cocaine, no? I don't know what you buy cocaine for and sell cocaine for, but that's an incredible amount of profit. I have a feeling it's not. Cocaine's a better profit, you think? I bet.
Starting point is 01:12:09 Just knowing how much cocaine. Or just thinking of like when they do that move of, all right, well, I'll let you catch my 30 pounds of coke. Don't care about that. I have 500 pounds that I'm smuggling in. True. But I don't know. And rover's right. Don't act like that would be the first time you put a lizard up your butt. Stop. Stop it.
Starting point is 01:12:32 Here is your schedule of activities today. Campers. Coming up right now, we'll play a little golf gaming stream. Present about Ryan Phelps Auto Sales. Newside over there on Route 48. He's spruising the place up. Buying from... Fancy. Ryan. Ryan Phelps Auto Sales locations all over Central. New York. We'll play a little golf. little 18 holes. Hopefully, not a course like yesterday.
Starting point is 01:12:51 He took 90 minutes to play yesterday's game. That one. That one. That one. I got to pay attention to the... So that'll be happening. Right now in Twitch and YouTube. Type in K-Roc, C&Y on YouTube, or the show.com. On Twitch. Or just go to the show.com. Look how easy that is. It's all you got to do. But before we do that, we do have a science experiment.
Starting point is 01:13:11 Cody, do you want to explain what this is, what you made? You had a long time ago that... Cotton candy moonshine. Moonshine on Whiskey Wednesday and you brought it in here and we just had it kind of sitting on the shelf over there forever. Yeah, I wasn't doing it. I don't want to drink that. No, no, that would give you probably a headache. But then we started talking about grapes or something like beginning of the summer.
Starting point is 01:13:34 Yeah. And I went, I'm going to take this home and shove a bunch of grapes in here. Did you have to pour some out to make room for the grapes? I can't remember if I just started hucking grapes into this until it was full. Until it was all the way full. So these grapes plumped up, Yeah, you can see the ones that did real good. And they've got, they're full of booze, but it's not really a strong booze.
Starting point is 01:13:53 It's like a 50 proof or whatever. You could eat a couple of these and be perfectly fine. So let's try this, I guess. It's a grape, you go first. Cotton candy grapes. You invented it, you go first. These are cotton candy grapes. He's taking a bite into it.
Starting point is 01:14:07 He's making a wince face. Really sweet. No. No, it's tar. I think these might be more for people that like booze. Oh, they taste boozy? A little. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:19 They're not, it's not strong. You're fine. All right. Hold on. It tastes like a grape, but I'm not really getting any cotton candy, to be honest with you. Are you? It's just, it's just booze taste, right?
Starting point is 01:14:35 Yeah. It's fine. You did a good job? Yeah, no, it did. It worked. It did the work. It definitely worked, man. They filled up.
Starting point is 01:14:42 It did not take in any of the cotton candy flavor. No, it's all booze, right? I don't know if something happened. Happens like chemically, scientifically where like the flavor goat doesn't absorb or something. Yeah. Whoa. All right. Hmm.
