with your hosts, Steve Dangle, Adam Wylde, and Jesse Blake.
So we stayed a bit late on Wednesday.
We had to do VIP.
And there was a sense that there were rumblings.
that there were whispers actually the whispers came before the rumblings i would say whispers
come first and then there's rumblings that's correct and then sources are saying and then
we freaking did it then we got machinations well we got machinations i guess but then i think we
did it oh yeah i think we did it we and we all patted ourselves on the back we're able to be
here together yeah for the biggest news of the day are temi panarin getting traded to the los
angeles kings and not 90 minutes later gavin mckenna uh got charged with four different
charges breaking a kid's jaw evidently and i couldn't i couldn't believe it i was like you
gotta be like what what do you do like i'll just live here then like i don't know oh well also in
there and completely lost in this and it wasn't until i was doing my research yesterday that i
realized this uh uh panarin signed an extension like i was like after our video was done he
signed an extension i think we even said in the video uh it's it's not coming and then it came
it was it was like very shortly after yeah like we were done like 10 minutes and that news came
out 22 million dollar to over two year that's pretty good that's good money it is what what
of the return oh i listen i know we covered it i know that new york rangers fans were uh all about
jesse blake because jesse uh what could you sort of sum up your point during the panarin trade video
that we did uh that was so key to it i think it was a testament to the way chris jury has run the
last couple years of the rangers and that we reached the point where a franchise icon has to
go for this return like you shouldn't it's not unlike the Marner situation where you had to
release him for Nick Waugh and then the extension that he signed in Vegas you got to this point
where since you went to the conference finals you've royally screwed up this team and now he's
going for pennies on the dollar no one like people were talking about how no you got the wrong measure
of this like you're not just trading you're not just straight up trading Artemi Panarin he's got
a full no move and he's going to tell you where he's going to go yeah you don't i don't think you
get brownie points for that no i i would have hoped that this season plays out where the new
york rangers have to go ah shit we're so good right now we have to go to the playoffs with
artemi panarin without a contract because we're not really sure if we want to get it done right
now we'll see how this thing plays out but we're going for a stanley cup we can't just trade this
guy so we gotta just see how this thing plays out and that's where they should have been because
they should have been competitive but you bring in jt miller to this locker room man get rid of
goudreau you get rid of truba you get rid of trochak like everything rider or sorry crider
um soon to be trochan to be trochak you get rid of crider everything's kind of been a mess you
you skewer adam fox uh by with your own management saying he's not good enough for the olympics
and then you bring in a coach and mike sullivan who seems like he's way over the hill i think it's
a disaster from james dolan downward let me uh let me give you that let me give you something to
to bolster that jesse um because there's a few things that we can play with here and i've just
moved a bunch of our rangers stuff to the top of the show on the prep sheet mike sullivan and jt
miller are on a business trip to italy says elliot friedman ah that's funny gold is the goal and
nothing can get in the way but at some point they need to sit down and discuss some rangers i
I understand that losing sucks and Miller doesn't want to pour gasoline on the fire with his postgame commentary, which I will play for you.
He kind of just does that naturally.
But there has to be a better way than how he's answering questions right now.
It's only inflaming tensions.
Sullivan clearly is just as frustrated feeling his message is not getting through.
He's the coach and Miller is the captain.
they have to work uh with each other to make it better or the rangers are going to have
some change are going to have to change something there too now jesse can we hear from the guy
amongst all humans on earth how many we got eight billion of us roughly yeah roughly eight billion
i think he's at eight billion and one on people i want to lead my locker room yes this is this
is the guy is jt miller this is what he said i know it's really it's still fresh i should say
but just what is the message to your team now
going into the brain vision to regroup?
I don't know.
We've got to come back with a better mindset.
It hasn't been good enough the last little while,
so try to regroup, freshen up, and I don't know.
I really don't know.
We just need to enjoy or take time.
I literally don't know.
Come back with a better mindset, I guess.
Can I?
Cool.
Can I?
Cool.
I need people to understand.
Like when people talk about media markets,
can you please play that from the top i want to hear i don't know what vicious question this
reporter asked like the rangers are in free fall and i'm sure they're just adding fuel to the fire
all right like what did she say hey loser tell me about why you're losing loser is that what she
said i need to re-hear it you ready yeah i know it's really it's still fresh i should say but
Just what is the message to your team now going into the break?
I don't know.
This is how someone speaks to you in the handshake line at a funeral.
Like she speaks to you with that kind of.
I thought you meant him.
Hey, no, no.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
You're fucking grandma's dead.
Like, I don't know.
What kind of family?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know.
No more BS.
No more grandma.
Also, you don't got a grandma.
I don't know.
I literally don't know what you want me to say.
Get over it.
Stop.
Yeah.
Like come back with a better mindset.
she couldn't have asked him in a kinder way just lobbed not even a softball that's a bubble
she lobbed a bubble at you and your bat went under the bubble hey jesse you're the reporter in the
room um steve dangle is jt miller but he's jt miller in steve dangle's reality where jt miller
answers his question properly so can you ask steve the same sort of softball and steve can
you answer it and show us how you captain steve would answer it yeah sure i know it's i know it's
early i mean it's uh it's it's just it's been some time now you guys haven't been winning what's
your message to the team going into the break what are you telling them yeah i don't know uh
you know no more no more winning no more no more bs no more uh ever gonna fucking win again i guess
i'm not asking you to do an impression of jt miller you wanted to do the right answer
how you think he should have answered.
I didn't get the bit.
Here we go.
You know what?
No, let's take that TikTok
and repeat it exactly the way it went.
Yeah, he wasn't asking us to recreate it.
And then rank a million people.
I didn't even make my part.
You were supposed to answer
how you were supposed to answer, Fluffies.
Because as he was setting me up,
I'm like, it's going to be hard
to top what he said literally.
That's why I took it the other direction.
So let's do the bit.
Let's do the bit.
What's your message to the team
going into the break?
Well, rest up.
Obviously, it's been a real tough go from the beginning of the season onward.
Me and Sully, we're going to go over to Italy,
and we're going to be surrounded by some of the best leaders in all of hockey.
I'm going to learn what I can from them.
We're going to play hard.
We're going to play hard for this country,
and we're going to try to bring home gold from this country,
and we'll bring that back to this locker room, and we'll go from there.
That's amazing.
Yeah, because it's not rocket science.
it's not rocket appliance this guy oh that's cool that's awesome great answer like like there it's
funny that jt miller sure is no bs yeah i'd be like wow he's got his eyes on like something he
can actually win and the fact that you said like i'll bring that back to the locker room that's
awesome yeah yeah yeah yeah can i say something which is why it pisses me off part of the reason
why it pisses me off though when players like yeah i don't watch you should you should because
you might have caught how this is done once or twice i want to say something one of the things
that jt miller has had or at least from a managerial horrible attitude throughout his
career hostile with his teammates people say he's he's he's honest and i think you're right uh he's
it's is it is he's honest or is it that he can't control his emotions or is that a little bit of
both and if that's the case you kind of like people like oh he cares so much he cares so much
i don't doubt that uh i don't think care was ever the issue i think it's can he lead a locker room
which needs restraint and maturity and you can't just speak off the dome all the time i like
honestly people look at matthews like he's a bad leader he doesn't say anything to the media is not
good with the media i'm like buddy what austin matthews hasn't even come within like a tenth
of whatever that was he's ever maybe he's maybe on the other end of the spectrum yeah
where people want to see more fire out of him yeah and that's fine and with jt it's like can
you keep it to fucking gather like what one thing i've i've focused on a little bit more because
i i've been doing this since i was 19 so when i when i started they were grown-ups
yep you know what i mean even though i was an adult meh meh i'm looking up at them and
they're grownups. Then Leafs rookie season comes around. I'm in my like mid twenties and I'm
looking around. I'm like, geez, I'm older than a lot of these guys. That's crazy. Then I get into
my thirties and I start to have a little bit more sympathy for the kids. Right. Cause these guys,
I'm like, man, that guy's, I know he's a veteran. He's been in the league for a few years, but that
guy's like 24. Like, you know, he played 500 games, but he's 24. Yeah. Yeah. And you got to
give him some grace jt miller's gonna be 33 in march you're the captain figure it out like it's
not cute it's it's it's not cute and it's crazy you don't know how to answer that question
like bare minimum bare minimum stuff well i i do think that there is some issues with the coaching
as i said like you know the penguins fire mike sullivan and essentially have the same roster
they did last year uh and have this crazy start from Tristan Jari trade him yeah he regresses to
to earth and then Stuart Skinner's come in and been phenomenal maybe the Penguins are just good
at defense and which is crazy nuts but you know what's crazy is the Penguins do what the Leafs
tried to do which is have the puck more than the other team and if you have the puck the opponent
can't score on you it's crazy it's a really weird concept now I want to play Jesse can you pull up
I've got it highlighted there in the prep sheet.
I want to show you this picture because Jesse nailed this.
It is Chris Drury.
It starts with Chris Drury.
And it starts with whatever meetings occurred in May, June, July of 2024.
This picture is from the outdoor game literally two years ago, February.
There are 11 players left.
the ones that are in gray long may they rest on other teams i know yeah you could have maybe
chosen another color it definitely makes it look like they died the entire leadership group is gone
panarin truba is the in memoriam at the grammy yeah i think it's panarin truba uh uh chris
crider and i don't know who the other assistant captain is i left my glasses in the kitchen i
don't know i can't see the entire leadership group is gone so they wanted a culture change
that's the first thing that sticks out to me like they they want they want it they want it gone yeah
and they got it gone and they didn't get a lot for it either which is kind of wild when you think
about it like the the they paid to get rid of some of it yes and a couple of young defensemen there
including k andre miller look at that he's gone um this team went to the eastern conference finals
against a team that had already been to the stanley cup finals the year before and they got
run over a little bit you know it's funny the coaches are also grayed out they are there's
oh geez and they got run over died and then they died i think some of the guys you missed did you
say lingren ryan lingren's there i i don't really i don't kapokako's there my point is yeah they got
run over and they did what everybody was worried the leafs would do leafs would lose in the first
round and the whole thing for the first little while was don't overreact do not overreact keep
the team together keep trying blah blah blah the rangers got through the first round they even got
through the second round and they overreacted and blew this thing sky high and then said jt miller
is going to fix this uh his leadership his his care level is going to fix this and i just don't
think that it can now that rangers team you could accuse them of a few things one of them being um
having outstanding unbelievable goaltending will paper over a lot of issues of course but if
outstanding, unbelievable
goaltending gets you
into the final four
multiple years.
That's cool.
Even the final eight.
That's great, man.
Seems like you got
a pretty good thing going.
Look at the teams
Carey Price dragged to.
He didn't.
Carey Price didn't have
a player on his teams.
Before Chris Kreider,
ironically.
He didn't have a player,
I don't think,
on any one of his teams
that scored over 80 points
in a year.
It's like a crazy stat.
Kovalev was like the last guy.
It was like Kovalev
and I think that was it.
And I don't know,
did Price and Kovalev
even play together?
That's what I'm saying.
Not long.
it was 2007 i think kovalev had the they went through a crazy long period of time where they
won every game two to one i know why mark bergevin gave him that contract is because he was the only
reason that mark bergevin was employed oh yeah like it's like oh man we're gonna get the bottom
six center bottom six defensive center oh bottom six defensive wing that's what we're gonna get
in montreal oh here's eric cole in the last 20 games of his career there's a reason it's crazy
like some of you might not hear it as loudly depending on where you live you should hear
the way people inside montreal talk about carrie price god they talk about god literally like god
god like he could i like you know all those videos where they show players um going into
the hospital and like saying hi to kids and giving them a doll yeah and everything no like he would
heal them they would stand like jesus like and the rangers may be benefited from some of that but
like part of having a good hockey team is having really good goaltending and all the rangers really
had to do here i think make a couple adjustments and you look at some of the players that have
become available since the rangers said fuck this yeah the two guys that come to mind and these are
just the top two miko ranton and quinn hughes both of those guys would have gone to new york
for sure were they ever really in on either no but if you had just held that fort and not fired
your draft picks into the sun they had some you know some young guys and draft picks whatever
don't tell me that you couldn't have tempted the Canucks uh with a package had you kept that team
together don't tell me you couldn't have been in on if maybe not the first trade to Carolina but
when Carolina you could have competed with the Dallas Stars for that offer absolutely and and
And instead, and again, JT Miller is a very good hockey player,
but we've seen time and time and time again in his career,
when he gets frustrated like this, he acts like this.
No, you don't know what version of him is going to show up to work.
You don't.
And he is phenomenal when you get him dialed.
He could win Olympic MVP.
Yep.
Or the story of the tournament could be,
why did Bill Guerin put him on this team?
Like, the range is that large.
adam do you remember one of the things i said when the rangers named jt miller captain
uh you're asking me to remember anything past yesterday it's pretty hard
he's kind of the perfect captain for a james dolan team derogatory
like okay like i sort of remember you saying that no because they're like i don't want to
let chris jury off the hook he's done a genuinely terrible job but he's gonna get fired and what
will change you still have a lunatic up top yeah and his dad banned but then at least the knicks
are making the playoffs right and the rangers got close they got close now here's what rangers
fans to the finals would have to let me know because i don't know the dynamic there when i
talked about the leafs and the jays and rogers and that whole dynamic rogers is the prize pony
right now and to hell with everyone else or in buffalo you got the bills and the sabers yeah now
the sabers are obviously doing incredible right now but for over like for a decade and a half
they were the other team that terry pagula owned yeah you know what i mean yep is it the knicks
and then fart on the rangers or how does james dolan look at that uh that is more of a jesse
question but i believe he's a knicks fan first is he not he's a knicks fan first 100 but he still
does also care about the rangers yeah right and it's not like the the rogers kind of situation
where you know it's number one the blue jays and then he also has the sports media side of it and
then also like the telecom side of it james dolan's kind of main interests are just his
having fun and like i said the entertainment side of his own world and like he built the sphere um
that was also under msg i knew he had something else he cares about the knicks a lot but he also
cares about the rangers i wouldn't say they're they're kind of second class like the pagula
situation where that's like very distinct they're never not spending like the pagulas were legit not
spending the rangers have a a really good friend of house staff uh i know people don't love the
people at the top but they have a robust staff in that front office they have always spent to the
max on contracts even before the salary cap that maybe predates james dolan but the rangers have
always spent money yeah and he's the governor of the team like when they do the when all the 32 big
guys get together he's the one representing and he goes rangers yeah which is more than the penguins
could say under fenway and the i look at it the reason they're here because they've had some very
good seasons with james dolan as an owner but the reason they're here is he made an impulsive
emotional decision the league uh didn't punish tom wilson i want to say for punching artemi
panarin when he was down he lost his mind which is okay for podcasters but not necessarily for
the owner lost his mind got himself fined a quarter million dollars who he doesn't care
mm-hmm jeff gordon and john davidson who i believe were the president and the gm at the time
did something that you shouldn't do but i understand why they did it and they went behind
his back and they told people listen that statement came from him not from us i understand
why james dolan felt the way that he did about that but he off with their head immediately yeah
and enough time has passed
that they clearly put together a very good team,
and Chris Drury has pretty clearly dismantled the damn thing.
And there's enough evidence that Gordon in Montreal
has been doing a master class in building a hockey team.
They've gone nowhere but up.
Yeah, and I think you're asking if him being like,
oh, piss off, I don't give a shit about the Rangers
is affecting them.
I think him being involved in any decision-making
is what causes them to be bad.
Like he comes in there sporadically and is a sporadic crazy man and he causes these things to happen and he goes off with their heads with people.
He gets rid of competent executives that he has in the building.
And then you look from like things things down to social the social teams and those sorts of issues from in terms of the entire organization.
He runs a mess of a company.
There are unsubstantiated rumors about what those board meetings are like.
That's the last person I want as my owner.
I'd like to play, Jesse, I've got it highlighted there for you.
I'd like to play Artemi Panarin talking about his extension with the LA Kings and what the Rangers are supposed to have offered him.
Because I think it's a really interesting clip and it's getting a lot of play in New York today.
and rightfully so remember artemi panarin is the greatest free agent signing in new york history
for the rangers now you could say well mark messier and i don't even know if he was traded
there i think he was signed i think he signed there i don't know uh i'll look at mark messier
won them the cup and i get that but i'm talking about like points i don't believe messier was a
free agent signing yeah i don't i don't remember uh traded from the oilers with future considerations
to New York for Louis
DeBrusque, Bernie
Nichols and Stephen
Rice.
OK, I think the Oilers
would maybe like that
trade back.
Nothing against Bernie
Nichols and Stephen
Rice, but Stephen Rice
once had 20 goals for
the Carolina.
Everything against
Louis DeBrusque,
apparently.
Definitely Louis DeBrusque,
the nicest man in sports.
No, no, no.
Let's talk.
Let's play this because
our Timmy Panarin is the
greatest free agent
signing as far as I'm
concerned.
Have a watch.
I was wondering with
the Rangers, did you I
know that you guys had
contract talks before
the season.
Did you re-engage with them at all about contract stuff after the season began or were there no negotiations after the start of the season?
Yeah, we talked about contract a little bit, but I feel, I don't know if I should say that, but I feel it's like, one second.
Yeah, I feel like this offer just say, like, we're not sure we want you or not.
So that's why I'm, like, not signing.
Yeah, just we talked not much in the beginning before the season started.
And then after, like, obviously everyone remember probably my start of the season, like, was not great.
and then probably we talked a little bit
in the middle of the year,
but not much.
So it's basically just before the season
and then that's it.
And supposedly the deal was somewhere
in the neighborhood of what Anze Kopitar got
when he signed his final two years extension,
which is I think roughly $7 million.
That was the offer?
That's the rumor.
That's the rumor that that's what the offer was.
I want to make that clear that the rumor,
but the offer was that hey we're seeing your career now wind down we want you to make less
so we can bring in more and i don't think i'm winding down that much it isn't he's been after
that terrible first month which sunk my fantasy chances early uh our tebby panarin has been
outstanding uh still getting points and i think he'll be great with the la kings but you know
it's interesting because the rangers came into this season with such hoopla the no bs shirts
we're going to do this we're coming back it's New York hockey the new way and they they were
they're they're more depressing than last year last year they were a bit of a story now it's a
bit of a Rangers fans are ready to riot last year when they were bad it was a surprise yeah I think
they're still so super talented like I just like or they were before all this talent left like I
I picked them to make the playoffs.
It's harder in the NHL these days.
I remember when we started the show,
like it was easier to point at teams and be like,
like before they've even taken the ice
and just look at the roster and go,
yo, that team sucks.
Yeah.
And this team, this team, this team is good.
And you were right eight or nine times out of 10.
The Rangers don't look awful to me.
Not on paper.
If they have Shusterkin in the lineup.
Yeah.
If they have Shusterkin in the lineup,
i think they have a chance to win literally every night but they are doorknob dead like
for the first few months no one was out of it in the east they were number one they were the
first team out of it and they're out of it by miles and miles they're part of the reason
why when i was talking about tanking if you're not already bottom five there's a real good chance
you don't end up bottom five because there's separation from the pack now the Canucks the
Jets the Rangers I can't remember who else is in there like they're sunk I didn't think they'd be
this bad Jesse you want some numbers on how bad they are yeah all right since December 6th the
New York Rangers have played 28 games in that span they are 7 17 and 4 they have a minus 33
gold differential oh uh they have been a disaster since that point that's got to be last in the nhl
right since that point i could i could search it but i don't have it in front of me right now
so that's one number two the last time the new york rangers won a game in regulation at home
november 24th against the saint louis blues whoa oh there's another one i was trying to come up
with the five worst teams there's one and the saint louis blues to november 24th so if you
bought an ms so that i'm just like that's like two and a half months ago yeah that's a long
how that's last year the leafs were bad and then good and then bad again how pregnant would you
look if you were knocked up that you know what i mean well you're starting to talk to your family
about it yeah right because you got to get past that six eight week mark you got in the ultrasound
yeah you're past the eight week eight week you did the 12 week yeah holy shit there's yeah there's
something about playing at msg that spooks this team and there's something might be that they're
just bad what about the media they're awful could it be the media yeah it's probably the hometown
media that's there in madison square garden they can't play at home yeah it's been months since
they've won there in regulation you know the notoriously um and i have one more step oh go
give it to sorry never you want to go that okay if you want to say your piece i was just going to
say the notoriously easy on their sports teams uh new york fans i'm sure i'm sure they're easy
to play against or play for sad somber piano music in the background jt i'm real sorry about
that game that you just lost but um can you tell us if this is good or bad i don't know i don't
know the toronto gets labeled with the mitch marner was run out of town label right but no one's doing
that to new york who publicly ran most of the leadership group out of town as quickly as
possible yeah well that's the team though oh the team rent i don't remember the fans the fans for
the most part i seem to remember going what are you what are you doing yeah i don't remember fans
being like trade 26 year old
Keandre Miller like
the last that
I think makes this losing
personal to the people of New York.
This is from Peter Schwartz
who said for the first time
since the New York New Jersey
area became a three team NHL
market in 1982
one of the three teams
swept all the games from
the other two. Wow. That team
is the New York Islanders as they swept
all eight games against the rangers and the devils not only do you suck donkey shit right
now rangers the islanders are dunking on you and they are undefeated against you man oh man yikes
it sucks it really sucks yeah and i'm surprised the rangers are this bad i remember saying they
would contend for a playoff spot but i you know they might make it they might not devils i thought
would be way better than this and the jack you stuff is super interesting the islanders
i thought were in rangers contend maybe make it maybe don't make it territory but
the caveat that i put on that is if they're out no one could gain more league wide from selling
than they could and i remember we went through all the guys who had one year left on their
contract they get out a fire sale of like really good assets they could yeah and they could have
finished dead last or near it if they had just made the decision to then matthew shaver comes
in and goes actually your rebuilds over yeah and bo harvett's been having amazing season their
goaltending's back to where it should be like they've done a lot of good things yep and they
have more young guys coming they remind me a little bit a little bit of where the capitals
were a few years ago like i i remember we were talking about them i'm like yeah they got some
really old pieces but the new crop is coming up as well that's something dallas has done
yeah really well for like don't do that though no draft well oh and if they do they pitch you
out the door yeah uh it's a it's anyway it's a it's an interesting conversation i wonder what
it'll look like uh coming back from the olympics uh but for now that's all we can do that's all
we can do is speculate we just don't know uh it's it's going to be very very interesting
sometimes life throws your curveballs and you don't have time to get to them and that's where
task rabbit comes in and i think you should check this out because here's the deal one of the things
one of the weird quirks about my condo building is that they use my floor to repel down and clean
all the windows but they never clean my windows oh and their way around on that is like well it's
a patio window you can do that yourself and i'm like well hang on a second what if i don't want
I don't have the stuff because you got to have that scraper thing and the washer thing.
The chemicals.
You got to have the right chemicals.
See, that's what I'm saying.
That's why I used TaskRabbit and I employed a tasker.
Here's the thing.
TaskRabbit connects you with taskers in your area for furniture assembly, home repairs,
lawn maintenance, mounting, window cleaning, all that stuff.

All right, so this Saturday night, we got the NHL Legends Charity Hockey Challenge at the Ford Performance Center.
Jess, you spent a lot of time there.
I do. It's a very nice facility.
And you're going to get to see some pretty nice hockey.
Doug Gilmour, Brad May, Nick Antropoff, all to benefit the Scott McKay Foundation.
And, of course, they're giving this money to Haven on Queensway.
It's a local Etobicoke charity right near the rink that handles food banks, clothing, and outreach for neighbors in need.
And they're also going to give some money to peer support for first responders.
You've heard us talk about it this week.
24-7 anonymous support for police, fire, paramedics, and nurses dealing with PTSD and mental health
crises.
It's cash only, $20 at the door if you're an adult, $10 if you're youth, and $5 if you're
a child.
And of course, like we said, it's where the Leafs practice anyway.
So you've got that kind of Toronto Maple Leaf feeling.
If you're feeling like Saturday night's a little empty because there's no hockey night
in Canada, there is.
It's hockey night in Etobicoke.
I think you can't really call it that, though.
Anyway, come check it out.
We I do want to quickly touch on the Gavin McKenna assault charges.
I mean, we touched on it earlier, but it is aggravated assault.
The State College Police Department of the Borough of State College put it put this out.
The Borough of State College Police Department has filed criminal charges against 18 year old Pennsylvania State University student Gavin McKenna in of Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
These charges are a result of an altercation that occurred on the 100 block of blah, blah, blah, blah.
Basically, the rumor is I was like, man, we're really getting into the street name and shit.
It's four charges.
The aggravated felt the felony aggravated assault charge could carry as high as 20 years.
McKenna was arraigned, as it says, and was released on released on $20,000 unsecured bail cases active.
And here's the thing.
There are plenty of rumors floating around about what happened.
Yes.
I don't have any way to substantiate any of them, so I don't feel like we want to get into them because really, ultimately, anybody that's posting right now doesn't know or maybe they do know, but I can't substantiate it.
And so we can't give it any push, right?
This is pretty serious.
And yeah, the first thing that hopped into my mind was the fact that he's a Canadian in America.
Yes.
And what this could do for like his student visa and all that.
And it could get really tough legally.
This is this is like a tough situation.
like even if he have like yeah it carries a sentence of up to 20 years he's not getting 20
years i i don't think he's getting 20 months i don't think he's getting 20 days but wow do you
think he's going to jail i just know you passed the bar yeah i did you know what i i don't know
how this is gonna go yeah i have no idea i ain't passed the bar but i know a little bit enough that
jesse won't illegally search my shit um anyway yeah uh it's crazy that we missed this um the
rumors going around are nuts um could he go to jail maybe could he get deported maybe you should
go through all of the options yeah kicked out of school maybe well what well what else would you
like me to say well that's why that's why you don't have to if you didn't have anything to say
that's why i said i didn't know we were in the habit of doing 45 second segments
just the fuck viewing that's what do you want from me i said he could be eating a sandwich we
don't know he could be uh i that's why i was saying we don't really know so we're not gonna
get into it and then i was gonna move us gently past i don't know like it like a wave upon the
beach just so it seems like no i got it guys what if i go through all the possibilities and say all
of them are possible the the ncaa abducted by aliens yes yeah he could he could now jesse there
is something well i'm gonna talk but there's something i want you to bring up on your on
your screen and don't show steve okay it's highlighted there uh but i want to talk about
this very quickly steve uh surprise to many so sam bennett obviously joined team canada after
anthony sorelli pulled out yes uh and then we had another person drop off who was uh it was uh
braden point which is crazy it won't be there so seth jarvis will be the guy that takes over
jarvis a lot of people were surprised it wasn't zach hyman yeah yeah and that's valid for sure
um there's familiarity there and i think john cooper i could see why he'd be struggling here
because you have sorelli and that's your guy who you trust implicitly with every assignment
and then you don't have them anymore so you replace them with a center who you're familiar
with and then there's braden point who's your guy and you trust implicitly in any scenario you trust
him to wing connor mcdavid's line yeah in overtime yeah in the gold medal game uh so who do you bring
in you bring in seth jarvis is playing bonkers i think that's part of it this year i think there's
a little bit of canadian media bias and there should be with zach heim and he's been phenomenal
oh he's been seth jarvis is having one of the best seasons of anyone in the league right now
and hyman has like almost matched him in goals despite playing like
a third or a half of the games or something stupid yeah it's crazy um
unpopular opinion unless you're losing one of a certain caliber of player unless you're losing
a kill mccarr a nathan mckinnon a conor mcdavid uh what is the gap for the minutes that they're
going to play between a braden point who we know is injured and has been basically all year
and seth jarvis playing bonker sandwich uh you can also kill penalties so can zach hyman i'm
not saying that yeah well and then there's um sorelli you take out of the lineup and i was
talking about Bennett not being the same kind of player which is true but as Jesse pointed out for
for god's sake you have um uh Bo Horvat who I forgot about and Nick Suzuki who can kind of
consume some of those minutes I think Canada plans on having the puck right right you know what I
mean all right so you you like that Jesse do you have any thoughts on it before we go to the thing
that I know let's get to the thing all right uh so listen I don't know if you know this but oh
Steve Dangle once went to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Look at that child.
Let's look at what a...
I don't know if we can play the video, though.
I don't know how Nike feels about us playing their YouTube videos.
Well, it's a news item.
It's news related.
We're not just playing it on its own.
We could play a few seconds of it.
It'll be fine.
It'll be fine.
Let's look at Steve 15, 16 years ago.
I think most of you will agree with me that on paper,
Canada is a far superior team to the States.
But who won?
Now, despite the win, Canada looked awful shaky in their victory against Switzerland.
And he's played international...
my voice is haggard because i went to every game and was screaming my brains out now this
this one was the time that canada lost in the round robin to the united states yes they did
yeah but you can go you can still look those up but by the way you did pretty good on the
views on those like 15 16 000 views and some of those i was like damn they've grown over the years
oh okay um i i want to say the gold medal win got like 12 000 at the time and we were like whoa
that's crazy that's like one of the biggest videos i've ever done
and you look like a small baby child i am a small baby child i am 21 wow i'm not yet 22
you're really good at 21 yeah you were very good yeah look at that skin i know i was gonna say my
skin my it looks great you got some color and nose is straighter could have put some gel in
your hair i know are you doing why didn't any of you intervene are you doing reaction videos to all
the olympic games yes every single one of them yes okay so france chequia you're in oh oh all
the canadian men's games and depending on no i'm gonna i gotta figure out a way to do the women's
games there you go yeah maybe not all of them definitely if canada makes it through to the
like golden semis i do want to talk about uh the biggest story at the olympics today
we are going to get the um the opening ceremonies later but um the the headline from ctv news is
doping chiefs vow to look into olympic ski jumping penis injection claims um so uh there
why'd the camera go to me first reported what was that all about um it's based on the theory that
adjustments to ski jumpers body suits especially around the groin can affect the sail and add
meters to your jump so these guys are the ones that jump for and it's like they just don't stop
jumping like it's far so they basically are in the theory is that they're injecting this in
their penises to make them wider to make their ski jumpsuit bigger because they get that laser
looked at and so if they look like they have a bigger appendage then they would get a bigger
suit and by the way when you inject hydralonic acid into your penis it lasts for 18 months
and it doesn't make you longer it just makes it wider so it's just trying to
give you more fabric girth crazy huh you think you want to win
are you injecting what's it uh hydralonic acid are you injecting a hydralonic acid into your
penis hyaluronic hyaluronic yeah i don't know are you are you inject your penis with levels of
wanting it ask yourself where's that nike commercial are you ready to inject your dick
for your country that's nuts we now go to our injecting your penis expert jesse blake who made
a video about yes so if you can give me a moment to do two important things for the network one
we have an international hockey tournament bracket you can join that in the link in the
description right now click it get your picks in for the men's hockey start injecting it's
it's awesome yeah start injecting your your picks they're gonna be real hard to beat
penis jokes so hit that link it's a lot of fun because the ioc has made this this tournament
very convoluted and uh we've replicated it in your bracket picks so it's awesome you're gonna
have to pick everybody uh in the tournament and where they finish in each group and then from
there you got to pick who seeds where in the qualifiers and then who seeds where in the
elimination bracket the tournament so do that it's awesome secondly on the sdpn youtube channel
we are going to be streaming all of the canada games so steve is doing canada men's i'm doing
canada women's that was supposed to start yesterday but since finland has norovirus with
steve had at one point which is no joke no joke the game got postponed until next thursday but
the tournament for the women's team team canada kicks off on saturday so i'll see you on the
youtube channel on at 3 p.m uh to stream that game it's gonna be fun we're gonna have a great
time watching along adam is gonna handle because he is a turncoat and half american the usa games
in the group stage he's going to do all of those games as well as the sweden games yep which are
happening as well in the group stage so there's a there's one day where there's double streams
it's gonna be fun for adam to do that when's the earliest and then maybe six and then when we get
to the knockout stage you're gonna be doing the america games and depending where sweden finishes
you'll maybe find days for those as well but you'll see how that shakes out so that's our
streaming schedule for the olympics tune into the sdp and youtube channel to get all of that stuff
we're gonna have a lot of fun on all of those streams and uh i'm i i think the sweden the
sweden america the one day i have to do both is saturday which is valentine's day oh i'm a popular
guy i don't second divorce yeah that's right but he's angling do you think adam would win the gold
medal in divorce if it was a competition i don't know larry king's doing pretty yeah he's got like
i don't know about larry king's dating larry king's had like 40 wives how many times why did
he keep doing this larry married eight times he was married eight times and he's still rich
how the fuck do you do that man divorce wipes you out did he is he alive uh i think he's probably
dead i'm pretty sure he's dead yeah uh maddie transition 2021 are you legally allowed to like
marry more than one person like at the same time yes in ontario you can like you could have multiple
you knew that yeah i don't know that's a little weird you are you can that's a little weird by
mr wild over here oh i've been through it i've learned divorce law there's a whole bunch of
so interesting are you allowed what's the what's the bar for marrying i don't know if you can marry
it's like cohab which is essentially married so what's what's the bar for what you can marry
oh can you marry animals no i've seen those viral things like the uk somebody married a cow yeah
yeah can you do that in ontario no no no i heard their school has a litter box
can you marry objects no nobody said you're fucking them well okay you're getting married
because you're not fucking them can you marry objects well then that woman married the berlin
wall yeah yeah this is exactly what maybe in germany it's legal and there are people that
marry ghosts and stuff too yeah yeah how was the injecting your penis segment lighter than this
is that way lighter than that is that illegal in ontario i don't think so no i think it's just you
i think you can i think like traditional marriage is like one-to-one and then i think cohab agreements
are taken into the law because there's lots of people that will live together in like a three
or a four and then they'll break up and then there's a whole bunch of messy finances to work
out that's awesome isn't that yeah yeah anyways this is fun conversations for your divorce lawyer
if you want more on the hyaluronic penis yes i did do a video on it i there's a lot of fun
and jesse and there's actual like sporting uh repercussions involved it's did you show any
did you show any of the outlines of the suits in your video i avoided penises that is a shame
yeah that's a shame uh all right one one other thing on the olympics did you guys see the tate
mccray nbc ad yeah where she's talking about how she's gonna hang out with the olympic this team
usa and this part of team usa and that part of team usa she's wearing red uh-huh and her
boyfriend is on team usa uh-huh but i just want to know where we fall on this i think whoever
pitched that idea to her hates her a lot yeah um it's kind of dumb right i understand why she did
it she's dating a player on the american she also has a big pop career in the united states and
wanted the free promo on nbc yeah yeah and money um but we don't play about that up here right now
uh so it's gone over like a wet fart i think a lot of canadians who live in the states and
are exposed predominantly to american media like wayne gretzky does not understand has i think the
reason he and bobby or so out of touch about all this is because they haven't lived here in 40
years now tate mccray's been two or three years but she's like 21 22 like so they had in a couple
of the articles her referencing i don't know if it's like a couple years ago but recently she said
that calgary doesn't really feel like home anymore after living in la for so long and so people have
dug up those quotes this is her being honest yeah but it's so out of touch it is it's you're
canadian this isn't what you shouldn't be doing that right people tried to make the argument too
they're like well her career is in the states and whatever i'm like how did she how do you how did
she get signed again oh that's right making instagram videos in canada and took off in
canada with a predominantly canadian fan base that lifted her up gate was able to she was then able to
get the record contract and then go to the states with it listen you were you were made and born and
bred here you do you do whatever you want and you deal with the consequences and the consequences
people in canada didn't freaking like it maddie gen z in the room your thoughts on uh they're
calling her trait as in traitor mccray boo you say boo i say boo would you go to her concert still
uh like listen she's a fantastic performer like i i would i think like this stuff aside like she
is a like brilliant artist i would still go to a show but i'm yeah i don't know i'm not a huge fan
of her like in general so it doesn't really affect me much but after everything i've seen
online about the discourse it's yeah i don't know oh the disc never good when you bust out the
discourse oh all right all right damn okay so anyway uh that's the uh i just wanted to touch
on that two and five canadians will hear the words you have cancer that's why every step
and dollar raised matters on september 19th join thousands in toronto for the princess
Margaret Cancer Foundation Walk. Challenge yourself, friends, and family to walk 21 kilometers

mind ah exactly good one all right yeah steve dangle everybody you do a little spring lawn
maintenance so that come july your lawn's all there in full bloom yeah yeah and you know what

Now, let's talk about NHL player safety.
Steve's favorite subject.
Now, we're going to start this segment
because I understand that there's an update
that I'm unaware of from NHL player safety today,
but I don't want to get to it yet.
No, no, that's okay.
I don't want to get to it yet.
I'm just confirming it's the only update.
I want to get to a hit from the Bruins and Panthers game,
which, you know, I got to say,
the NHL schedule makers are insane.
You put the Bruins and Panthers in a game,
And then the next night you put the lightning and Panthers in a game.
Are you fucking crazy?
It's right before the Olympics.
I know.
Are you not?
Final game before the Olympic break was lightning Panthers.
And it was great.
There was a good fight in there.
We'll talk about it.
I'm going to be honest.
I think it was on purpose.
Okay.
Why do they knew it was going to be a shit show and they want to drive up attention to
hockey ahead of the Olympics?
Oh, okay.
Maybe I think they did it on purpose.
So let's let's show the Jesse.
Let's show the clip of the hit from the Bruins Panthers.
game now this this hit was on charlie mcavoy uh sandus villam villaman villaman villaman
they have a lot of is names on uh the florida panthers just say latvians latvians uh and
villamanis comes across the uh the the neutral zone and absolutely chicken wings
uh charlie mcavoy in the head watch look so there's there's charlie mcavoy there's his head
I'm a backup.
Snapped.
So, okay, Charlie McAvoy just making a zone exit, a clean zone exit.
So there's the puck in the corner.
There's the puck.
See, there he goes.
He's going to grab it, go across the blue line.
The Panthers in their brown pants to take you back to their historic roots from 1993.
And that is Sandus.
That's a good point.
Phil Maness.
And look at this.
Now, watch the elbow.
Watch the left elbow.
Okay?
Which stays out.
Coloxum.
Wham.
and if you see it face on too uh that one's even worse uh i don't know if that's if yeah the other
angle is the other angle is crazy so much worse um okay here we go oh that's not the right one
but still this is i'll show you the other one too there's yeah there's a bunch of different
this is brutal oh so you're seeing it bam all right yeah now even that is i we're not even
totally illustrating if you somehow miss this jesse will find the other one and show you i got
i don't really need to find it what is unbelievable about this is that the panthers while getting a
penalty when minutes two minute penalty illegal check to the head i believe they got because of
the fallout from the bruins uh the bruins went look at that shit the bruins then went on the
after this i believe yes because uh someone got i think yeah so what happened was there was an
instigator call after um this happened and then the bench got a bench minor because they were so
upset about the call that the refs gave him a bench minor so then the power the panthers ended
up on the power play okay can i ask a question because i don't know the answer yes was this
called five and they reviewed it and made it a two um i don't believe so i don't think so either
that like that fail safe was put in place for stuff like this yeah but i i think they didn't
call it that way because they didn't believe that was the case yeah it's the florida panthers
yeah i mean like what do you mean like it's funny so many people have talked about is it
hanlon's razor the you are the razor aren't you the one no no no but they they've mentioned it
to me about the department of player safety okay whereas basically i think the league favors them
yeah and the argument with hanlon's razor is occam's razor is that what i'm pretty sure it's
whatever one of the here's the what it is okay very often people aren't malicious on purpose
they're just incompetent right so that's the theory with the department of player safety
remember when you brought this up last time and then i was like oh is that like hanlon's point
and then adam's like oh nude beach do you remember we we had we literally had this conversation the
last time we talked about the department of players they weirdly enough there's two people
with a razor and hanlon's one of them so you were like there you go never attribute to malice that
which can be adequately explained by stupidity i think this is like i like our time we've done
this yeah yeah well there's always different people yeah and then there's jeff's razor yeah
just gives him a great shave gillette yeah oh damn you got to it before i did then i saw kent
campbell go okay i think the the department of player safety is just incompetent however
after stuff like this i understand why people think that this thing like i'm not gonna
go off hellfire and brimstone like i always do and talk about george peros and how he's holding
the league hostage and people don't have this job for nine years george go get another job
for the love of god go get another job um and colin campbell got caught essentially match fixing
and then nothing was done about it and he got into the hockey hall of fame and when he basically
got caught influencing his son's games and wasn't punished for it i asked the question
what reason is there to believe that he ever stopped doing it i'm not gonna get into all of
that all i am going to get into is this is like a bingo card of stuff that always gets suspended
chicken wing boom contact with the head boom jumped boom he's got moon shoes on yeah and
it's essentially a random man like i know he's going to the olympics but in the nhl scheme of
things it is a random man and charlie headhunting charlie mcavoy charlie mcavoy is a bruin and an
integral part of team usa i have every reason to be like go get him valmanis
how the jiminy cricket hell did brian rust get three games for what he did to brock besser
and this got nothing it got two minutes and it doesn't even matter that it got two minutes
because it didn't result in a power play for the boston bruins the florida panthers
were very thankful that that all happened because they got a man advantage like it's ridiculous
boston bruins fans i got news for you you know how they say you're not in kansas anymore well
gregory campbell ain't a bruin anymore one thing you failed to mention that i thought you'd get to
is that the one thing you say about these incidents is that the guy should lay down there
until the ambulance is called act like you're dead and then they bring him out because charlie
mcavoy returned to the game and was fine and kept playing and he'll be fine yeah in the game and if
he is out for the rest of the game let's say even if he is because he was fine yeah maybe if he
pretends he's not fine and that he misses the rest of the game then they look at something
because it's ridiculous the way they judge these incidents is it's like ah he kind of missed the
elbow mcavoy wasn't hurt so no suspension no fine that's ridiculous they're not because jesse you
nailed it they're not suspending the play they're suspending the outcome if if mcavoy was like oh
man he has to miss the olympics now maybe there's a suspension like oh i fucking guarantee there
would be a suspension and that's a crazy way to put the to your department of player safety so
he's wearing a bubble i don't know why he's wearing a bubble but he's he's wearing a bubble
And that might have been the only thing that saved definitely help from a
serious concussion.
Yeah.
Now I think he stayed in the game one because he's nails.
Right.
And he wants to help his team win a hockey game,
but two to prove he's fine.
Exactly.
Yeah.
What he should have done.
And I don't care that this lacks integrity.
We're talking about the Florida Panthers who have none.
Yeah.
The initial play didn't have integrity.
So you should respond with that.
You lie down hands touching the opposing shoulder.
Like Dracula.
chalk outline and emergency strap you to the board put the thing around your neck and get
carted off the ice yes and yeah and then you'll get five thousand dollar fine city and then where
he's heading maybe florida will finally be punished for something um you know it's it's
listen can i play marco stern after the game i was just here's the head coach of the boston
bruins uh in what he had to say about the hit uh marco your emotions after that first period
like when Charlie takes the hit, you guys...
Yeah, no, that was a...
I don't know what to say.
It was a brutal hit, and everyone saw it.
You know, obviously I had the opportunity
to look at the replay, too,
and, you know, to come out with a 4-on-4,
and like that, I just didn't understand.
Did they give you any kind of explanation
of why they called two instead of five?
No, no.
You're not going to get one.
so yeah no that's why i mean i'm here to protect my guys and especially charlie you know um
and if you target the target his head uh most clearly to see uh that's just
pisses me off but anyway now i i have to say uh
it is kind of rich coming from the bruins oh yeah this is yeah now and i'm not rooting for that oh
no but i will tell you it's pretty fucking rich boston i didn't think you'd go there wow why
wouldn't i go there are you fucking kidding me that's not what i thought at all these guys
did this shit for more than a decade that is not that is nothing to do with this it absolutely
That has nothing to do with this.
No, because the Panthers
stole their fucking lunch money
and they said,
oh, I like that brand.
Yoink, here it is
and I'm going to do it worse.
Are you implying that Colin Campbell
gave Aaron Rome four games
in the Stanley Cup final
because it benefited his son's team,
but he gave Matt Cook nothing
for blindsiding Mark Savard
because he didn't like him?
I'm not implying that.
Oh, that's not what you're implying?
Oh, well, then I redacted.
Sorry, continue.
Exploited a weakness
that the Boston Bruins
constantly exploited which is they can't call everything yes yeah okay but the boston in this
incident are allowed to be upset about no i and they should complain i just think it's pretty
fucking rich i don't i think it's the right thing to do well you're popular in boston
this sounds like this sounds like somebody's diapers real full because they're a lease fan
and they got blue and white disease but my diaper has been full since 18 but it sounds like the blue
and white diseases and making your tummy a little sick there, Adam.
It is.
You know what, Jesse?
It is.
I agree with you.
So let impartial Steve stick up for Bruins fans
and get rid of old dopey Leafs fan Adam.
All right?
Here's impartial guy right here.
Toronto filled their diaper like they always do.
Am I right?
High fives, all of Massachusetts.
hits they filled their diaper when zach white cloud hit matthew nice and they filled their
diaper up to the waistband enough that the department of player safety said we're gonna
have integrity for once in our lives and stand behind a decision or rather a non-decision
and make a video explaining why this hit is legal
or rather at very least why this hit is not a suspension we gotta stop treating toronto with
kid gloves why do they have the privilege of being the only market who got a video like that
so boston i'm gonna stick up for us because we're on the same team the department of player safety
should have to explain why that's not at least a five at least a fine and at least a suspension
they should have to explain why that is two minutes for an illegal check to the head which
was the actual call oh steve he connected with the shoulder take it up with the ref
they should have to explain why that's not a suspension they can't in the same way that they
weren't able to explain and chose
not to explain the Brad Marchand
elbow and Mike Matheson.
I know
it reflexively. You're like, I'm going to
fight you, Steve. He's on the Panthers now.
Okay. Why?
Why? And why
is it always
them?
Stop trading Toronto differently. Give Boston
a video. They deserve it. There you go.
I want to talk about
the Florida Panthers more.
i i really why did they do something last last night was this fight i think it's so much worse
it's it's as bad i wouldn't call it worse it's as bad as everything you think the charlie mcavoy
stuff was it's it was disgusting what they did last night uh against tampa so these guys
fucking hate each other chicken shit they are chicken shit can i pull an adam it is a little
rich that it's nikita kucherov but no you're right it doesn't matter who it is the other side
is florida complete chicken shit from the florida 31 teams against florida right now and it's
bullshit yeah so nico micola is going off he's heading to the bench and he decides you know what
while i'm going off i'm gonna get a piece of nikita kucherov he knocks him to the ground
goes to the bench the play isn't even close and paul maurice who once said we only hit the guys
who have the puck you know we only hit the guys with the puck and then he went
we don't do dirty things we don't do dirty things in florida when guys have pucks we hit them and
that's it well where was the puck in this instance paul maurice not anywhere near the play oh my
my players are cowardly chicken shit the refs they see it they don't care they're incompetent
somebody get them some new glasses they decide hey this is fine you know who cares whatever
nico micola runs over kucherov actually there's a hand up there whatever so matthew kachuk comes
off the bench and he says i'm going to get behind the play where nobody but brofsky can see me i
don't even know if brofsky is to the core of his soul a coward yes i think it's not brofsky it's
not yeah as soon as i said brofsky i knew it wasn't so that's why i could still see him that's
why i corrected myself so matthew kachuk comes off of the bench and he saw nico micola knock
over kucherov and matthew kucherov says you know what i'm a little chicken shit man so i'm gonna
go behind the play and come behind kucherov who's just knocked to the ground and finish off what
mikula started and go over there and knock over kucherov directly in his numbers and knock him
to the ground and then as this whole incident is happening i'm gonna back off let my other guys
always do yep i mean he eventually gets his ass beat which like i'm gonna start calling him
because hegel keeps beating the brakes off so i don't know if he's a good fighter no he's not
he's awful he's chicken shit so eventually he does get his ass beat by brandon hegel because
thank goodness somebody came over and got a hold of him as he tried to run away from the incident
hegel who's much smaller oh yeah so he he gets that done uh hegel thank goodness and while this
is all going on forsling and jj moser also get into it and forsling is like what is that on the
front of my jersey oh that's that's a florida panthers crest let me do some of the most heinous
shit that's happened on the ice so far this season and after i take moser down to the ice
yeah i'm going to continue to wail on this opponent who is turtled and done i'm going to
take one two three punches right to his side and continue beating on him while he is down
because i'm forsling and i'm a panther and i don't care about respect well jesse i'm here to tell you
everyone justice does exist because after last night we have news from the department of player
safety did you see this is john cooper refined nashville's michael mccarran has been fined to
twenty three hundred dollars the maximum allowable under the cva cba for slashing
washington's trevor van reams dyke no this this was okay maddie if you want to bring up this
angle so wow this is right when you fucking hunk of shit this is right when forzling takes down
moser because that's moser slips and forsling decides i'm gonna wail on this guy i'm just
gonna keep going because the refs aren't near me and i'm just gonna keep beating down on him and
eventually the ref gets over there and finally stops him by tackling him i think that's gotta
be something it should in a right league that punishes the panthers that's that's something
can i tell you man like uh what what i hate the most about the florida panthers is it makes me
feel unjust for uh injustice for tampa and boston i like do you know you know what it would take do
you mean to feel bad for any either of those two asshole franchises come on like now you got me
to fit like it's like oh man ted cruz made a great point like like my therapist lives in a castle
because of the boston bruins and here i am going to fucking bat for them and the lightning they're
disgrace panthers fans who are gonna get on me in the classiest way that pull it together steven
the only people i ever see stick up for the panthers are you
you're alone of course you're gonna stick up for your own team right i'll never fault anyone
for sticking up for their own team yep but at some point look to the left look to the right
and realize you're the only one there now you can go whatever champ champ is here okay
well i guess that's that then it means you're right about everything we agree
it's just we agree for different reasons you agree that the panthers are the best team
i agree that the panthers are the best team because the nhl allows it
yeah yeah the like this it's disgraceful and look at the smile on this man's face oh yeah he knows
matthew kachuk on the screen right now has all of his equipment off because brendan hagel ripped it
apart and ripped him ripped off him in their fight can you and he's leaving that for nothing
lightning that's what a little smirk on his face because he knows that they're winning that's what
i wanted to direct you to though you can smile all you want but they're probably missing the
playoffs cups cups yeah no like this whole thing like steve i think you bang on best team in the
league the florida panthers they get away with everything they won back-to-back cups they've
gone to three straight and even if this is a step back year where they miss the playoffs and
everything that's fine they've played more hockey than anybody last couple years i'll be right back
out of next year next year they're gonna continue florida panthers hockey and they'd be my favorite
it to win the Stanley Cup? The Lightning need
to win the Cup this year as a revenge for
what Florida did to them in the preseason and
the regular season. Just to say F you
we have more Cup for you now. The Panthers
are more dangerous now
because they got nothing to play for
the more the more it
becomes obvious they're not making it the
more they are going to spear you
in the ball. Yeah and if
anybody thinks I don't
have if any Florida Panthers
fan out there thinks I don't have respect for this
team on the ice and what they do for winning
if they get into the playoffs there's my they're my pick to win the stanley cup
yeah like everything they do what does they be this all stuff lends to winning i'm saying
they need they should get uh they should play by the rules of the nhl and some of this stuff
should be punished and we need to get to the point where either everybody else is playing this brand
of hockey where it's just hey let's go at the florida panthers and play their own chicken
shit game or the chicken shit stuff needs to stop well you know what you need to call something so
that they matthew kachuk can't come off of the bench come behind the play hit somebody in the
numbers intentionally try to injure a player there's no repercussions for that intentionally
try to injure you know what you could do is you could just take the suspension or take the fine
like that's the thing i don't understand and i guess because there's some money on the line for
some of these guys but especially the guys lower in the lineup fighting for positions tougher guys
that sort of thing why don't you just take the suspension take the fine yeah like and i know
that that like the percentage of money lost is i mean the sorry the real money lost is a little
bit smaller and yeah everybody's fighting for the paychecks and i get that but like what's what's to
stop you from a two-handed slash across the back of the knees well that tampa did it a little bit
by having scott salbrin in the lineup let's be honest why did they get why did they move off of
that scott salbrin is what happened to the lease for god knows how many freaking years and this is
where you have to wear it boston nazim kadri did not fall out of the fucking sky game two in 2018
was it 2018 whatever it was 2019 no we were there at game two yeah 2019 yeah is one of the most
disgracefully officiated games in the history of the stanley cup playoffs and kadri didn't finish
shit and it's because of that so when tampa signs a guy like scott sabarin and sends him at one of
your veterans in the preseason just know that it didn't fall out of the sky and zero people feel
bad about it yeah uh so he's on the ice for one reason i go back to my my intentionally injure
your star players because fuck you uh i go back to my original point which is pretty fucking rich
coming from you boston but and tampa a little bit too but they were less they were less bad to the
leafs in terms of that chicken shit stuff there was chicken shit stuff but they were litigious
yeah they were less violent and more can you shut the fuck up the panthers are worse than i think
the bruins oh yeah i've ever been a mill yes sold their idea and made it better my team that's all
my team there's zuckerberg with facebook yeah for sure and you know boston is the vigelvoss
twins which is my damn team has been through four seven game playoff series with the bruins
that i've done videos for and i am saying the panthers are 100 times worse yeah worse

Hey, got a quick update.
This is actual breaking news, and it has to do with the story we talked about later.
uh the felony aggravated assault charge uh against gavin mckenna has been dropped
upon the review of further video evidence because apparently this happened either in a bar or
outside of the bar uh mckenna did not act with intent to cause serious bodily harm nor did he
recklessly act with extreme indifference to the value of human life steve okay can you go through
every possibility now that could happen in mckenna's life what's he doing well the one thing
is uh we're gonna eventually see the footage yeah we're gonna eventually see the mz exists
yeah yeah and listen we can just say the story floating around is he was out with his parents
uh let's not let's just not like we don't need to speculate on that we know he was out with his
parents but we don't need to speculate on that which he said at the show beginning the show
we're not going to do that we don't want to do that no no there was a there's there's charges
let him go like we all listen if you want here's the problem i have with that and i'll tell you
why i don't want to talk about no i because it's uncorroborated it's literally some guy
yeah it could be a bot from india i don't know man like i literally have no idea police report
anyway it's fine i don't i'm just not going to get into it let's not and listen they dropped
the felony aggravated assault charge which is what i thought hey so that leaves three more
that leaves three more charges but the felony aggravated assault was the big one yeah that was
a that was a monster one so um i want to talk about uh i do want to talk about least a little
bit before the end of the show but i want to talk about edmonton versus calgary because remember
edmonton lost to the toronto maple leafs now the reality is they're kind of similar in the standings
edmonton's i believe points per game behind the leafs and and it's cope yeah it is no no but i'm
not saying the leaves are better i'm just saying things aren't going great and it got even worse
they're definitely not better and you know what's crazy about the video we're about to show you
uh you get the leon thing queued up this comes from the edmonton oilers twitter account which
i have to give them a lot of credit for posting it's a bit longer but trust me this one's worth
the wait yeah what do you ultimately think was the difference between you and leon dry saddle
uh i don't know i'm just giving up too many goals i don't know just can't defend um
Penalty kill is not great.
But there's many things that are part of it.
Yeah, it's just not good enough right now.
Tristan just sat here and said that he's got to be better.
He's got to keep more pucks out of the net, give you guys a chance to win.
I guess, what are your thoughts on that?
It goes hand in hand.
We got to defend better.
We got to make it easier on him.
and then I'm sure he can be a little bit better too.
You know, it's a two-way street,
but it starts with us in front of him
and then the game becomes a little bit easier for him.
But I think there are saves that our goalies need to make at some point.
This is a really veteran team that's played a lot of important hockey.
You're 58 games or whatever you're into this season
and you're still trying to find your defensive game.
Can you, you know, does this, have we hit some critical mass here?
Do you think come season?
I mean, yeah, absolutely, like, we're, yeah, not consistent enough, and, yeah, it just
leaks too hard, you know, to just, like, lollygag through games and try to get winning streaks
going, and you need everybody, it starts with coaches, like, everybody, like, you're never
going to win if if you have four or five guys going and it starts at the top we can be better
our leaders can be better and um yeah we'll take the break and regroup do you think that stems from
the fact that you guys have had so much success over the last couple of years that we can wrap
so he calls out the goalie he calls out the defensive play and then he says coaches and
people from the top and i have to say i loved every second of that yep i'm gonna defend it
because i'm seeing a lot out of are people mad at him only one market can you guess
vancouver it is a canadian market and it's not edmonton and it's not vancouver not calgary
not calgary no they're loving it who would be mad at this ottawa what because of what jake
sanderson said and he got skewered for it okay so here's where it's completely different dry
sidle was asked a question and it is one two and three all about team defense that's all it's about
team defense we can be better the second question is directly about tristan jari who says i need i
need help yeah no he said i need to be better oh yeah but then he also said they need to be better
in front of me oh he did i don't think they told dry sidle that but and but then dry sidle
also said that so they agree then dry sidle is like he needs to be better
which is true true and here's the difference this is your multi-million dollar goalie who
you just acquired whereas jake sanderson i'm like levy marilinen man yeah you know what i mean
yep there's a big difference there you could argue they're the same i i think i mean they're
both obviously rough they're not nice um but sanderson apologized for a reason because it
was point point point whereas dry sidle was mostly pointing inward at himself and the rest of the
team he's also like just straight up right then he points at the goalie and he does it in a fairly
gentle way i thought the coaching call out was big yeah i mean if anyone has license uh it should be
him he's been one of the biggest superstars in the league for several years and he knows what
this team is capable of and the Oilers have had to deal with these mistakes for how long like
there's a reason no one is worried about the Oilers and it's because this is what every season
is this every season looks identical yeah but last year I'd say they looked a lot better than this
yeah but it's still the same shit they score a lot they come back a lot they have to come back
a lot because they can't keep the puck out of their net where do you think andrew mangiapane
ends up i still think toronto um that's what i thought you were gonna answer so uh there was
an interesting point in um elliot friedman's 32 thoughts about bobby mcmahon is the leafs want a
first for him but then he makes the point that a lot of the contending teams actually don't have
their first this year this year i mean listen yeah they have it next well if i'm the leafs i
want a 2026 or equivalent prospect well which is what that means well so here's you know there are
contending teams that have two yeah the islanders but here's i i think the oilers are very interesting
because i think they can do the two seconds and sweeten it by throwing manjapani in there
especially if you retain on mcmahon if you retain half of his salary he makes less than the league
minimum and it expires at the end of the season so it's the easiest decision the leafs can make
right like why wouldn't you retain oh of course on a 1.1 million dollar contract who cares yeah
just do it so i think he probably whether mcmahon ends up in um edmonton or not i still think he
could come to toronto by way of something mangiapane yeah by way of no what like what
do you mean you you said whether or not mcmahon ends up in toronto oh sorry whether or not mcmahon
ends up in edmonton i think manjapani ends up in drop yeah right you think no matter what like even
you think there could be a separate deal even though it's not the mcmahon okay yeah no uh the
oilers need to dump that money and they need they also need defense toronto does have that i i think
like if the oilers are serious let's let's get serious they're good partners all of recman
larson would be perfect on that blue line and you don't have a first you do have ike howard
and you have a first next year you've got you've got stuff i know like oilers fans were like that's
way too much for bobby mcmahon we've already covered that well okay now we throw oel in the
deal and salary retained bobby mcmahon who cost you 400 500 grand right and manjapanic comes the
other way to make the money work i'm still not sure it exactly works but there's yeah there's
there are things if the oilers are serious they should get a guy like oliver eckman larson i think
he'd be phenomenal for their back end they need more puck movers back there yes he's old but a
versatile on a low low cost deal based on how he plays and it's only what a couple more years after
this one uh two so it's two at three point two five or something five ish yeah less than four
if i'm the owners i'm focusing on the forward group really honest yeah as if i'm sending out
assets it's much i think it's much more important to get something uh to solidify that middle six
as opposed to doing the back end
where you already have Wallman
and Bouchard and Nurse.
You got guys, I think,
who can move the puck.
So I'm looking for a forward.
Do you go defensive D,
like maybe lower end,
like a Benoit?
I'm going forward is what I'm looking for.
No, but do you throw one in there
like a depth guy or no?
Sure.
Yeah, if they got enough
to go get every little position they want.
I think you'd upgrade that
more than a puck mover.
We had the same conversation last year.
What is easier to do
if you're the edmonton oilers bolster your d or just become scarier up front
because if you're able to come to the to any series scarier up front than they already are
man like what kind of a d chord do you have to put together to stop that the answer i believe
is whatever the florida panthers and mcdavid mcmahon coming down together would be pretty
scary mcdavid mcmahon caponin is just all and you can put them on three different lines that's
insane speed oh and oh yeah i already said mcdavid uh hyman nuge dry sidle uh friggin
puck colson was very good the deeper the playoffs got last year dude so the one thing leon said in
there that i think was important was he mentioned the winning streaks and the winning streak thing
has been a big point for the Edmonds and Oilers
because they still haven't put together
three consecutive regulation wins in a row.
They had a winning streak of three,
what was it, like last week, two weeks ago,
but two of those wins came in overtime.
And then that was the only three-game winning streak
they've had all season long.
The years of the past,
you've seen the Oilers start so slow,
and then sometime in the winter months,
they go on air.
It's like, oh my God, in their last 15 games,
the Oilers are 12 and three and they haven't had any of that this season and that's got to be a
little concerning because you want to see a team put together just a decent stretch of good hockey
for like two weeks yeah and that hasn't existed for this team so I I would I'm hopeful that they
get this thing together because I think this will be a really fun team in the playoffs if they look
like the Edmonton team of last couple years so if I were to bank on anything it's that they come back
from the olympic break and they put together a good little string of wing wins game one of the
playoffs starts tomorrow who the oil is starting in that jari you think not connor ingram huh
because i think he's been better hasn't he so here's the thing they have identical
so ingram has played 13 games jari's played 11 but they both have six four and one records um
ingram is an 897 jari is an 870 can i give you the guy who should be starting
calvin picker stewart skinner oh i should have never made that deal that was a bad move
yeah why did they should have done something else so he was the wrong guy he was an 891 when
they traded him oh i thought he'd be much better in pittsburgh he's eight four and one which is
very good he's actually an 887 am i crazy to say that a lot of what stan bowman's future in edmonton
is based on it will be based on what happens in march and april
like you think i think yeah like i know they're going to the playoffs and stuff but like
it's tough to argue that he's made the team better than what ken holland did
it is i mean tell me that's tough the the the oilers team i think of the last two stanley cup
runs that is better is the first one it had more depth it had better players i know holland didn't
get broberg and they took florida deeper they did again yeah like you think about the guys they
lost fogel who was just gonna you know he was gonna make more money whatever mcleod mcleod
but Broberg was a big loss.
Broberg,
you know,
they've lost CC Holloway.
Holloway Broberg was,
you know,
I mean,
Holloway is not at a great year this year.
It's a lot of guys,
man.
It is.
And that always happens,
right?
You're going to have that with keys,
but I,
I'm starting to think I'm not really impressed with Stan Bowman's general
managership.
And I,
I wasn't in Chicago either.
Well,
and like,
think of some of the guys they brought in to supplant,
um,
like to,
for secondary scoring,
Jeff Skinner,
Victor Arvidson.
Yeah.
Andrew Mangiapane, it's not a great list.
I mean, I will always go back to this.
This is a man that he said, I'm super intelligent.
Let me trade our Timmy Panarin to the Blue Jackets.
Like this, I don't get it.
And allow me, Oilers fans screaming at the screen,
Trent Frederick.
Oh, yeah.
Man.
That's one of the worst signings ever.
Man, man, man.
unless he comes back next season and plays like he did yeah because again he had back-to-back
seasons in boston where i'm like yeah absolutely you pay that player maybe not eight years three
points yeah you don't i don't i never understood the thing where we need to get him to eight
years i guess it was to bring the aav down that's insane but like panarin can't get a four-year
deal does stan bowman who is trent frederick's agents and does stan bowman send him a glitter
bomb every day uh alan wah alan wah alan wah look at this and look at this eight years 3.85 million
dollars for three points in 55 games yo puckpedia chill you didn't have to put 0.05 points per game
and i know specter he's been hammering this a lot if you're gonna be ass from a points production
standpoint be me at least be physical at least do things with your 6-3-2-20 body and frederick
can't even do that didn't manji apani like and he did he's not a big guy but he was like running
around like a crazy man at the beginning of the toronto edmonton game he was he was trying he
cost them a bit on a goal yeah but uh yeah he was he's at least trying to be like a factor early on
sure i thought it was funny contract okay yeah i would like to know what oh frederick click the
button jesse yeah click the button yeah i gotta know buy it out buy it and put the put the buy
out at like july 1st if it gives you the option like just so that uh okay prior okay we're gonna
buy out frederick prior to the 26 27 season got it here you go it's actually something you should
consider oh you should do that so the cap hit each year is just about 2.1 to 2.3 million
and that's it in one year it gets to 2.5 yeah they're buying that out wow unless is it bio
proof wow is it a no move uh no i don't believe so he's no protection i think you i think you're
good okay yeah wait i'm confused here can you go back you would be paying him till 2040 so
what is his cap hit this is in this buyout the buyout cap hits this one that's all
where it says buyout i said 2.1 to 2.5 that's sorry i was looking at that i was looking at
the ones above it i'm an idiot the category that says buyout cap hit is the buyout cap i am an
idiot so yeah holy shit adam did say 2040 it goes to 24 because it's an eight-year deal
i think i think we already yeah i did say that yeah i was trying to figure it out let him catch
up let him let me catch up yeah okay i'm here wow now i've caught up wow that's crazy
there are savings there are huge david era there are savings you can survive this
you can survive this you know what the coyotes were there i'd be like trent frederick you are
a coyote but since uh i would do it i would do it i just wouldn't let stan bowman do it i would
think about it i don't know if i would do it just yet maybe one more year yeah here's here's here's
my thing stan bowman cannot buy out this contract no because if you do it better also come with a
resignation letter by outstanding you traded for him and signed him if you come to me and say i
want to buy this player out yeah fuck off what was the right off what do you guys remember the trade
wasn't it a fourth or a third no no no i can google it here no let's guess and he was really
injured he was and like again the the way i looked at it was like the evidence before the
season was he can score
you 15 to 20 goals.
That was just Shane. And be a pain in the
ass.
Oh, Shane Lachance.
Shane Lachance? That was it?
Shane Lachance. No, the reason
I think it shows up that way, Jesse, is I think
I want to say it was a three-way trade.
No, not according to
people. Well, it was because Frederick
was never on the Devils.
It says three-team trade with Boston.
Oh, who's not
reading the freaking screen now?
okay but it says see previous trade yeah yeah what's that what's that say
peter hauser peter hauser hauser there you go all right i want to say there's a pick involved
but i thought there was okay uh they got a pick they acquired max jones and hauser for max winner
in a second and a fourth that's part of the trent frederick three okay let's read the whole thing
Third up, Edmonton acquires Max Jones and Peter Hauser from the Bruins in exchange for Max Wanner, a 2025 second round pick, and a 2026 fourth round pick.
So that's what they send out, right?
Next step, the Edmonton Oilers get Trent Frederick from the Devils for Shane LaShawce.
and then the devils acquired trent frederick who they sent to edmonton yeah in exchange for peter
hauser uh from the boston bros god there you go so edmonton in the fourth yeah that's rough there
you go who does alien wall have click click on alien wall right there this is for science
trust me bro okay how many other oilers does he have he's your cousins hagel grubauer trade them
trade all of it he has mangiapane and frederick yo i would slash this guy's tires if i was stan
bowman you gave me trent frederick and andrew mangiapane for almost eight million
is samuel johnson gretzky that's the only way to redeem this
wow it's rough i i also gotta say it's kind of i was stan bowman it would be on site the next time
i saw eileen i think it's holy shit i don't i think it's on stan bowman did stan it is on stan
bowman i'm still you can get these i'm whooping your ass if i'm stan bowman are you kidding me
who are the four leafs now i'm scared uh woolen stollers my Myers grew all right you're not bad
you're all right you're fine i am whooping that ass if i'm stan bowman holy shit um

Before we go, I want to ask you guys this.
Did you see, so first off, the Patriots are in the Super Bowl.
I should put that out there.
Yes.
Did you guys see Tom Brady was asked,
hey, who's going to win the Super Bowl?
And Tom Brady, I don't know if you know this,
played for the Patriots.
and tom brady's answer was something to the effect of i don't know both teams are really
great and it's hard for me to make a call boo no i didn't see that now i know he owns
the laws excuse me las vegas raiders but tom brady would not pick the patriots even if it's
not true how are you not writing for the team that got you six rings well here i have an answer
that give it to me i think that uh tom brady probably should have picked the patriots
happened at the wrong time can you please answer the question though the patriots like
how how don't you do that just how don't you do i think there was a pete blackburn tweet so many
years ago uh where he's like man tom brady be so cool if he wasn't so weird and i think it's
kind of true you know yeah but again that's most athletes jesse why do you think tom brady would
not support the patriots openly because tom brady is like a everyday yes man you know yeah i like
the way i play both sides of everything the way david ortiz like rides for the reds he's never
really been that guy right oh it's crazy that like baseball's biggest panel has a guy who gets
on there every day and goes i hate the yankees with all my heart and it's awesome it is awesome
And he sits between Jeter and Rodriguez.
Which I think it makes it funny.
It's incredible.
If they weren't there,
it'd be like, shut up, man.
But because they're there
and he does it in front of them,
I think it's fine.
It's good.
It's good.
Okay.
So let me ask you this.
What's the final score of Super Bowl?
Final score.
Who wins?
What's the score?
I think it's 40 to 37.
Okay.
Who wins?
Oh, wait, no.
Fuck, I fucked it up a lot.
um uh the patriots okay jess no seahawks who wins no patriots no seahawks final answer i think it's
uh 20 to 13 2013 who wins patriots whoa all right i'm going seahawks because my step probably even
closer you know i said 40 to 37 why i tried to make a six seven joke but i fucked the math up
oh jesus oh my god all right okay so uh i know adam wilde he hates uh this entire city and this
entire fan base and has tried to bury the most important story in hockey till even after the
hockey stuff you put the super bowl ahead of this uh pittsburgh no uh no uh edmonton uh ottawa
steve said it steve said edmonton calgary it is the takeover of the montreal canadians and how
they have run over canada and made canada montreal canadians country okay so jesse's trying to curry
favor with both boston and montreal now i see what he's doing you know where my he's trying to
lie he's trying to get big on reddit there oh yeah all right i i love our habs our habs is my
second home our habs is actually scott arneal they love me there for the wrong reason scott arneal
had to go to the mic in winnipeg and talk about how disappointed he was in the entire city of
i have not seen this is it weird to play in an environment at home when there's so many fans of
the other team in attendance and it got really loud yeah that's pretty disappointing that's
probably the worst i've seen in my four years back here tonight that was really disappointing
get good scotty yeah the montreal canadians took over yeah the arena there in winnipeg that's been
there for what 200 years um it's so much so that the coach had to say it was the worst atmosphere
he's ever seen because the habs are great and their fans travel and they loaded up that canada
life center now this is the most lopsided i've seen um some visiting teams this season but let's
think of some of the ones in recent memory habs taking over ottawa ottawa sucks now let's move on
toronto taking over calgary calgary sucks that that environment like the least fans in calgary
the two nights ago yeah so cool i can hear it on the broadcast yeah they get one game a year
and the flames are dog shit so all their fans sold the it was a leafs game it was awesome
montreal showed up and he's like this is my hometown let me score two goals yeah montreal
shows up in winnipeg and takes it over because winnipeg
sucks yeah they're not taking over the building of cup contenders yeah it's got nothing to do
with the city your reaction to what scott arneal said was the appropriate one if you had a good
team people will be showing up for your team i sure have i've i've seen winnipeg be one of the
best buildings in the entire nhl for the last 10 years the whiteouts the whiteouts and everything
and it was a red out like what are we what are we talking about here scott listen my commenter
might have had a point i don't have a lot of faith in the way this guy coaches um and i don't know
what he is like personally but like i get the sense that this guy kind of sucks and he needs
ago he feels if his his he feels like what Greg Cronin felt like in Anaheim last year that's what
that feels like to me they play shapeless positionless depressing hockey and this Winnipeg
Jets team is too good for this they are they're just too damn good and I know Hellebuck was
injured you make as many excuses as you want this team is underperforming and if they in their front
office think anything different then it's time for their entire front office to go to I don't I think
they're well aware that they're underperforming you think there's a chance the jets if they don't
have a winning season like next year and they don't rebound that they can slip into a relevancy
because we don't even talk about them amongst like the interesting bad teams they're just like
off because they're not interesting bad yeah they're not you just like you need listen they
had a contention window they won the president's trophy last year almost blew it in the first
round didn't you know like yeah they were like a second away but they didn't uh they went to the
second round it was a good showing it's a pretty good season all things considered uh there's no
youth movement coming up underneath them they've we've we've done this segment before they've
drafted horrifically in recent memory who are the guys coming up like brad lambert is in trade rumors
is vinnie hinola even a like is he we don't need to go they draft like shit they're not playing
their guys that they did perfetti hinola those guys they've had their their shit stunted uh
nick ehlers i know he wanted a bit of a quieter environment and winnipeg can be a bit of a fish
bowl but like how many coaches did he go through there where they're like oh i just don't trust
him with the puck yeah caroline he's fine like ehlers is really good but like is he the difference
between president's trophy and what are they second last he's an 80 point guy he's very good
i don't think i don't but is is is that the gap i don't think so i think it's coaching no he hasn't
been that high sorry he's only ever had 60 wow i guess i overrated nick ehlers but he had 63 and
69 last year and he's got 43 and 57 this year i don't know they've moved up look at them yeah but
they sit like you're talking about how bad the rangers and flames are they're tied with the
flames in two points ahead of the rangers like we that category of the teams are the cast off teams
oh they're done done the canucks the blues the rangers and the flames and the jets sit right
there with them and let me say this man uh let's just let's just call it what it is the taste thing
didn't work out yeah five and a half million bucks for this guy who hasn't played in a couple years
and listen i got the emotional aspect of it i think that's beautiful uh but you're an nhl team
and you've still got to spend your money wisely yeah you could argue he's gotten better as the
season's gone you can argue it but 56 points 56 games 19 points sorry that's not a five and a
half million dollar player it's not no so i i you know you say jonathan we'd love to have you back
not a five million no and they were i want to say they were without lowry and we were talking about
okay when he comes back taves moves down to three seat dude you two months of a guy who hasn't played
in three years is your two c have you lost your mind yeah yep just didn't work so yeah missing
lowry threw off like a couple months for them just the same way that like missing tanev for the
leafs derail no missing lawton i think it's even a better example where like everything was like oh
my god it's a mess and then tanev too like if adam lowry being out is derailing your season you have
a roster construction problem yes and you shot yourself like like the leafs did playing domey
at center hey why do we keep do why do they keep doing this to us after they shot themselves it's
crazy anyway we gotta wrap um this is the third time someone has said this about Habs fans
Jake Sanderson said about Habs fans in Ottawa and Darlene said about Habs fans in Buffalo
Habs you're having a great season I just I just want this show to show some respect to the
the city of Montreal, because the two guys
right next to me won't do it.
Just saying.
I think I've been pretty good about Montreal.
There's not enough Nick Suzuki propaganda on this show.
Oh, well, listen, there's enough Nick Suzuki
propaganda on Habs Twitter for
the rest of his life. For years now,
Habs fans have been coming up to me, oh, I found your
stuff, and I'm like, 2021.
I know.
And at Jesse Blake.
