austin matthews who looks like a little baby you have to bet you that was the mustache you see why he had it you see why he had it it's he does look much younger oh yeah what an adorable guy he is an adorable guy he raised i think it was like 147 000 for movember unbelievable by shaving it which i like that people are people were way too gatekeepy about movember when it first started they were and as someone who can't really grow a mustache it was really annoying because like don't ask me to do this thing and then make fun of me halfway through the month when i don't have a mustache and then i'll cheat and like start growing it like two weeks early or whatever and they go that's cheating and i'm like i can't grow it why not just have a mustache for a month

instead of looking like a dick for half of it also which is what i would do movember we're raising money for things like men's health yes which includes mental health which means don't make fun of people well that's not how it used to be it used to just be like here's this new thing it basically i think it mostly started in australia and if you can't grow one shut up little baby boy and like when it started i was like i don't know 20 so it was even worse than it is now you're 20 yeah i just i couldn't i couldn't do it you mentioned something in there that we need to talk about you mentioned the podcast agent provocateur it was a banger provocative when it dropped yesterday uh max patch already if you don't know was on agent

provocateur with adam wilde and alan walsh i call it uh aw squared pod oh right a and w and w oh there you go get a little teen burger action double teen burger dad burger is do they have a dad burger papa burger is that the papa burger the teen burger is my favorite that's why i went to it because it has the bacon and i think it's two patties it's delicious am i getting an w on the way anw is my weakness it's so good i have a i have a weakness for and so agent provocateur with max patcher ready drops yesterday around noon ish goes off on twitter because you have the former captain of the montreal canadians speaking about the culture in montreal mere 48 hours after they fired everyone he got radioed yeah it's it's uh i was waiting for it because

as soon as adam said this idea i'm like oh this show's got the potential for a lot of radioing you know what i mean and he did something and alan walsh did something that is nearly impossible and that's getting an active nhl player to say anything interesting and he did and like it's not just interesting it's he was open without trashing quebec or montreal or the montreal all canadians he was just being very open about his experience um his experience there his experience leaving and his experience after it's a great listen yeah he was open and honest just about the city and what it means to play for the canadians and i won't spoil it like go listen to it but what it boiled down to is is it can be too much for being being canadians player it can be

overwhelming as just a human to endure that day in and day out well and the what he basically said was everyone there is a shelf life and that's the quote that ended up in all of the uh articles yeah and people i think were quick to point out the examples of that not being true brendan gallagher's been there forever carrie price has been there forever but there's a much larger list of guys who haven't you know and that's true with every team it's true with every team but you know max was talking about his personal experience remember he was the captain so he got the the uber package right and he was talking about uh i think he was talking about former teammates and also guys who are still there if i'm not mistaken giving him the heads up and

no no like situation like uh well it burns you out potentially talking about guys who are still on the habs yes maybe i'm forgetting yes we put out a lot of content i think he included everything everybody within the organization um definitely guys who are no longer there i felt that burnout maybe guys who were fired very recently over the weekend uh have a shelf life i mean nine years is i still think regardless of what you think of him it's impressive mark bergevin lasted nine years i mean to even have the i mean he was there because jeff molson liked him but like to even stay in someone like that's favorite for nine years is very difficult through the ups and the downs to be in a management or coaching position of any professional sports team for an extended

more than like five year run is an impressive feat because you're hired in those positions to really be fired once your team's bad and once the management the upper upper management isn't happy with your decision so yeah what he did is very impressive you know what you know what doesn't get enough love is uh david poyle being in nashville i don't even know how many years and also barry trotz as coach managers i think they get a little bit more rope barry trotz was a coach of the prince for like 20 years we should we should be talking about that a lot more that's a herculean thing so uh you know but that's nashville no offense to nashville if adam was sitting here he'd say the pits my pittsburgh steelers that is their thing

they hire their coaches yeah um they hire coaches and they're always there forever that's that's their thing well yeah but you got to have success yeah which is yes exactly right so uh montreal it's it's been up and down you could argue they've had more success than some less success sort of depends what you value you can point to two very good runs that they had but that's two in nine years i think you can ride that if the other seven years are above average and i think for the most part they weren't you know it's a it's a it's a very tough thing but you gotta go back and listen to max patch ready as far as i know that was scheduled before the firings happened it was so but awesome knowing knowing we found out i was like that's dope

knowing alan he could probably read the tea leaves a little oh i'm sure i'm sure he's real popular in montreal right that's why the show is so good because you have alan who can bring on these guests and you have his inside info that you're not hearing from anybody who's inside the game right now allen can drop whatever bombs he wants and he knows his relationships and what's going on with all these players like who are they're talking to their agent they're letting the secret spill to their agent and he's got them and they've only had six guests and two of them have been active nhl players perron and patch ready that's real good yeah i can't well now i'm like on puckpedia i'm like who else is he having you know i'm looking at his his roster and yeah

it's a it's a very good episode it's one of the best ones they've done can we stay on montreal for like the smallest millisecond in the world why what'd they do i don't want to give this man the time of day i thought i think of this conversation like i thought of the don cherry conversation it's hey this person's looking for attention and let's not give it to them so but you have thoughts my thoughts are ignore this human because when you ignore them they go away the when you put the light on them that's how they that's how they get their energy but if you don't give the plant any light they can't get their photosynthesis and they can't eat and stay alive so here don't mention their name really don't no no i will i will okay but let me start

i'm gonna start the conversation a certain way okay or my rant a certain way trust me on this one With the Leafs, they had a couple key departures. There's Lou Lamorello, and people go, oh, they'd be much more successful if he was still there. But the other popular name was Mark Hunter. Because he's a gifted hockey mind. He's one of the most gifted hockey minds out there. He's one of the best management minds outside of the NHL.

He's one of the best management minds where? outside of the NHL and what I keep arguing is if he's so good why isn't he in the show right now if he's so good why isn't he in the show why wasn't he in the show before the Leafs why isn't he in the show after the Leafs maybe it's just because he doesn't want to or he doesn't have to that's perfectly fine and where's Marc Hunter right now London where he was before which is fine like he co-owns the team what I'm sure he lives a very happy life it's not like the London nights suck like they have a long running resume of success and he gets to run a team with his brother who does that sound like a failure to you no but what i get tired of is people going this

guy should be in the nhl if he should be he'd be there that's how i feel about patrick wa it's how i feel about patrick wa he's always always always he's brought up around two teams this guy is going to be the coach or the gm of one of two teams one is the montreal canadians who are one of the most prestigious and decorated they're the most prestigious and decorated team in the history of hockey that's not a controversial thing it's facts look at the banners they have the most of them the other like the first hockey team yes yes yes and they're still around so there's that team and the other is the quebec nordiques who don't exist he was already coach of the quebec nordiques they're called colorado avalanche now but oh maybe he'll be involved with the new nordiques

the new nordiques don't exist and until they exist i'm going to treat them as if they don't exist the candidates being talked about for the montreal gm job are you know someone like matthew jarch who is um agm of the lightning i believe and i believe also a former montreal canadian yep and danny breer also a former montreal canadian who is earning his stripes as a hockey manager in the echl he's in a league called the echl because it can no longer be called the east coast league because they have a team in alaska it's two tiers down from the nhl but that's where he's earning his stripes but this guy's gonna get the job because why why because he walked out of the team once because he allowed a lot of goals he was dude

he was a great goalie gretzky was a great forward you know what i mean it doesn't necessarily translate he was a coach in colorado it worked until it didn't and then he had a thing going with joe sakic and he took his ball and went home and i hate to say it but i don't look at what has happened to the Colorado Avalanche since he left. If we're judging teams based on well, actually I'm realizing I'm destroying my own logic here. If you're judging teams

based on how they are two, three years after you left, it would actually look good on him. But he didn't build the he doesn't build the players. That's Joe Sackick! Yeah, that's the GM's role. His job is to coach the guys. Yeah, so he took his ball and went home and he's not doing

the things that matthew darsh is he's not doing the things that danny briere is or any of the other prospective candidates for the uh montreal canadians gm job so patrick waugh deserves that job because why exactly steve eiserman you know was in like an advisory in a basically an apprenticeship role i believe with the detroit red wings goes to the tampa bay lightning does an amazing job basically builds a stanley cup winning team and then he goes to detroit and look where detroit is they're in the top half of the league right now after being in the basement we got the uh calder front runner lucas raymond yes uh my favorite non-leaf right now or more insider or more insider take your pick lucas raymond who we should maybe i don't know if you

have this as a topic but team sweden did not have him on their 55 person list and they're trying to Asked the IIHF for an exception. And as a fan of Canada, it's tough shit. No, no, no. Give it to them. Give it to them. It's about best on best?

Yes. Yeah, give it to them. But they should have to wear, like, the management of Team Sweden should have to wear, like, a Duns cap for, like, a few weeks. Also, how? Like, how?

Lucas Raymond. Really? Like, I knew how good he was. He's at least one of the best 55 players. yeah that sweden has that's maybe in the nhl like what do you like in the world before he made the nhl yeah i knew the hype around this kid it's a terrible decision anyway the the sedins right now are getting jim benning's coffee you know what i mean no one why is patrick waugh because of his greatness as a goal is he like is he gonna get net at practice

is that how he's going to earn this role all these greats all these hall of famers all these former nhlers who did not have the business or management acumen went out and they got it before getting their next role why is patrick waugh being handed his it just it strikes me as like a reality show stunt it's because it's insulting he thinks he deserves it and that's what he i don't doubt that like it's that's the only reason this is in the news because he's like i want this and i deserve it because i'm me it's insulting to people who get up every morning and do their job just because you were great at something once upon a time doesn't mean you deserve this job and people will be quick to point out well like gee steve he does do some stuff like

He's active in the QMJHL. All right, fine, fine. What about the NHL? What about the Montreal Canadiens? Just because he understands the market and has played here does not mean he's worthy of that job. Being an ex-player doesn't mean you can make trades and build a roster and be a GM in the NHL.

And Joe Sackick had to earn his stripes too. Oh, yeah. Who we mentioned. every former player in their role had to you know not literally get coffee but they had to do a role that was beneath their um stature perhaps look at brendan shanahan he had to do the the stepping stone role that so many ex-players take where he's handing out the disciplinary actions for the nhl he's handing out suspensions yeah and like he did that before he got a job with the team because he knows okay i need a i need to work my way up i need the entry level position before i get the

senior management position and he did that and patrick waugh's ego won't let him do an entry level position he wants to go right in and be like the the gm of the montreal canadians because i deserve that because i'm me this is why i don't think it would work with him and jeff gordon no i trust jeff gordon who has actually done stuff versus patrick waugh who stopped being a goalie what 2004 or whatever it was like and he was a you know decent coach for a bit until he wasn't and he hasn't been back i just like drop the name if his name was doug stewart pick some other random name even make him a francophone even make him a former have would he deserve this job no and the answer is flatly no yeah it's flatly no it's insulting

suspensions and things coming down brendan lemieux was suspended for five games for biting brady kachuk my favorite tweet i saw one for each tooth that's good we went through the whole suspension or one for each finger fuck yeah that makes more sense damn it we went through the whole suspension last episode so we don't really need to get into it but the nhl made their decision they had a uh they offered him a zoom slash in-person hearing yeah and they came with five games which means that there's no direct appeal unless you go straight to gary so there's no arbitration appeal so he's probably just going to serve the five games unless gary himself overturns it oh i wonder if that's why it's not more so anything that's six anything under six

games is not arbitration eligible for appeal interest because gary's a little busy right now well i don't know if you noticed he's he's had a busy couple months as he should oh yeah he's having a bad time because he should be but that is fascinating insight well that's 100 why you think so yeah 100 i said 10 and cj said 10 i noticed on uh cj show uh someone sitting here said five well because you're going i was going off of what it should have been cj i assume was going off insight and you're going off uh distrust of the nhl doing the right thing i was going on hey they're probably just gonna not throw the book at him because they never throw the book at anybody it's a truly everyone saw the five games and right now we're talking about the five games

whether or not five games is good this is the video the nhl released the nhl department of player safety released explaining why they came up with five games folks it's performance art it's so funny it's so bad it crushes every expectation i had as a child that there are real adults we're all just large children making shit up every day so i'm gonna play it you tell me when you want me to stop or whatever because it's gonna be a lot you love this i love it pause saturday night in los angeles i was just texting your reflexes oh god they weren't very good i wasn't expecting a pause that soon all right all right here we go again i do like this it's very good saturday night in los angeles kings forward brendan lemieux

was assessed a match penalty for biting senators forward brady kachuk as the video shows the kings chip the puck in on the senator's goal where it is gloved by senator's goalie philip gustafson in the ensuing scrum lemieux follows kachuk into the corner in support of his teammate and engages him from behind so here kachuk spins and drops his gloves to immediately i will say um it does by the way the video footage since you can't see it so i'll describe it a bit if you're watching on youtube yes you can oh you can yeah yeah this is on the screen on on youtube and if you're listening uh go check out the youtube video they better not demonetize us for this i'll uh i'll make sure that they don't yeah okay well if you can't see

it right now that's why so uh it puts to bed immediately the argument well if you put your hand in my mouth i'm gonna bite it which some people said to me it's no like literally the the instant brady kachuk's hand is anywhere near brendan lemieux he opens his mouth wide like cough from the jungle book and friggin bites down on it with the force of an adult man what does he do like ah he goes like cough from the jungle book isn't that the name of the stuff i wanted you to bite he bites down on it and he just he takes a chunk out of him and you can see clear his day it wasn't a matter of brady kachuk giving brendan lemieux the mandible claw it was he just bit the first thing he saw it's a ridiculous thing to do it's a truly it he bit him he bit him we

talked about me playing with my dog and sometimes my dog will hit me with his teeth because my hand was outstretched and his mouth was open and i should have known better no he bit him he identified something to bite and bit it. Do you want to keep going? Yes. He bit him. End of story, he bit him. Immediately engage with the player who was grabbed. Go back a little. Lemieux follows Kachuk

into the corner in support of his teammate and engages him from behind. Kachuk spins and drops his gloves to immediately engage with the player who has grabbed him. Lemieux drops his gloves and the two grab a hold of each other, wrestling briefly before Kachuk

takes Lemieux down to the ice. While on the ice, Lemieux, feeling Kachuk's hands on his face as they wrestle, bites Kachuk on his bare left hand, and does so with a substantial amount of force. Bare. Left. Hand. Remember that. Bare. Left. Hand. Very important. You'll see why. The two continue wrestling and throwing punches as the linesmen attempt to separate them. As the two are being separated Kachuk, while still on the ice Immediately informs the officials That Lemieux bit him

As he examines his own hand As he examines his own hand Which hand? The right hand The right hand And I don't, again, I don't I assume you're not going to be able to show this footage But you can show screenshots

The screenshot that you're all picturing in your head Because I'm assuming you've all seen this footage at some point over the last week brady kachuk holds his hand up shows blood shows a very obvious half moon bite mark on his right hand but the footage before that shows lemieux biting his left hand what kachuk argues is that Lemieux bit him twice or at least more than once bit him on each hand but the NHL all they have footage of is Lemieux biting down on Kachuk's bare left hand he informs the officials that Lemieux bit him as he examines his own hands showing the officials that he is bleeding

Kachuk regains his feet with cuts on both hands and both players are escorted to the penalty box While circumstantial evidence supports the argument that Lemieux may have bitten Kachuk multiple times during this fight, we are limiting our review of this incident to the bite that occurs almost immediately after the players fall to the ice. so this is the key point of the video that everybody not has a problem with but is focusing on because the circumstantial evidence that they're ignoring is clear bite marks and blood that's all over the ice and multiple teeth marks on his hand but they are saying no because there isn't clear video evidence of the bite taking place we can't evaluate the second bite on his right hand even though his hand is bleeding everywhere okay for some reason adam jesse and i get into a fight i just lose i lose control i lose my shit i don't like this no no i don't

want to fight no i know i don't want to fight okay but imagine i have a goatee and i'm evil steve no no no you and patrick waugh okay i'm not fighting you okay fine so imagine i'm patrick waugh and there's adam and in the next or sorry there's jesse and in the next chair there's adam and but the scuffle takes place over there kind of half off camera but the camera catches a glimpse of me patrick waugh biting jesse on the hand but not a clear no no we see it oh we see that one okay okay and then while the cops are taking the police report because there's excuse me uh officer there appears to be a former nhl goalie in my house biting me and my friend adam holds up his hand there's blood on it and a clear bite mark but the camera didn't catch it and they go all right

we're arresting patrick waugh for biting jesse blake and no one else you know cops always say if there's no video evidence of it it didn't happen evidence doesn't exist no we can't solve anything unless there's video but every person with a working brain knows what happened yeah no use the evidence it's all there his hand is bleeding and there's bite marks on it and he's yelling he bit me also why is that not enough have you ever like fallen down or something and sustained more than one injury yeah yeah definitely yeah and and but there was always one that hurt the most so the usually the knee yeah oh yeah it's always the knee and then you realize oh i fucked up my elbow too exactly but you're like oh my knee brady kachuk holds up his right hand

of the ref because god damn it that one hurt the most look at me i'm bleeding because he bit me so the worst bite isn't even the one that got brendan lemieux suspended so the nhl's official ruling as you just heard in their video that they released the the bite that occurred as they go straight down to the ice on the left hand is the only one brendan lemieux can be suspended for because the bite on the right hand which was much more severe and was a bigger chomp there's no direct video evidence of it happening because they were on top of each other and here's why so we can't be suspended for that that's ridiculous here's why it's relevant in the heat of a moment can i believe that one human being bit another yes it's it's combat you're

in a fist fight i don't expect you to exactly be thinking rationally but there's something about him biting him twice right it's worse right and it's not just that it's the number two and it's bigger than one he bit him twice that's not a heat of the moment thing that's you turning into a fucking badger it reassures that this is my intention my intention now that we're engaged in combat is to bite you my focus is singularly on biting the shit out of you yeah it's my focus is biting you my focus is biting come on brother like every now and then your reptilian brain can take over for a second and go, bite that motherfucker.

But he did it twice! That's you making a conscious decision to bite the shit out of Brady Kachuck until he's not on you anymore. And he might have done it three times. He might have done it... This is the thing. We keep saying twice. If he bit him... Okay,

if he bit him once, he bit him once. If he bit him twice, he might have bit him five times. Because the right hand was mangled. But it gets even better. we paused it before maybe my favorite part all right let's let's head back to the video so this is about halfway through it's a three minute video and we're one minute and 28 seconds left once again this is released by the department of player safety the lemieux suspension five i promise i won't make this take 20 minutes yeah it can take 20 minutes we got all day

no 20 more minutes i got all day this incident to the bite that occurs almost immediately after the players fall to the ice this bite is to the left hand of kachuk due to a lack of evidence this decision does not include an analysis of how kachuk ended up bleeding from his right hand once the players hit the ice kachuk's bare left hand moves up around the mouth of lemieux lemieux responds by biting down on the back of kachuk's hand with force we have heard lemieux's argument that the puncture may have been caused in this moment by Kachuk punching him on the tooth with force sufficient to cause a puncture wound.

The video evidence does not... No, no, no, no, no. Keep going. The video evidence... No, no, here, back it up five seconds because this part is important. Okay, okay, okay. ...by biting down on the back of Kachuk's hand with force.

This is Lemieux's explanation. We have heard Lemieux's argument that the puncture may have been caused in this moment by Kachuk punching him on the tooth with force sufficient to cause a puncture wound. The video evidence does not support this version of events. So, here's what the offending player argued. We know that's a fucking lie because there's video footage of it,

but you don't know how Brady Kachuk got a cut on his right hand. It's children! It's children! Kachuk was talking about the wrong guy being a child. Good lord. because if he didn't get the injury the way that he says he did if brendan's explanation is a lie does that not mean the other explanation is the truth what listen it's not healthy for your argument when you're a known and provable liar he lied so so and the nhl says he lied and has video evidence that he lied

oh my god there's there's a story from 31 thoughts the which we referenced last show sure at the end of 31 thoughts i think it was jeff merrick telling this story about um when brian burke was the head disciplinarian marty mcsorley wanted eric lindros to get into a fight and by the way this is how this is not only how things are run it's how they've always been run so marty mcsorley always wanted to get eric lindros into a fight it finally happens but it doesn't quite happen cleanly and lindros bites marty mcsorley you can't do that so brian burke calls up marty mcsorley and he goes listen we're about to come down and like real hard on eric lindros because we can't we need to establish a precedent that we can't

have that so already i'm like okay brian burke would be better at this job than anybody currently in charge because they he would have come down harder because you can prove that he bit him once once is good enough once but there's no footage so burke goes did he bite you to marty mcsorley did he bite you and mcsorley refuses to answer and burke goes i'm gonna ask you one more time did he bite you and he goes brian he didn't bite me until bob clark he owes me one so wow yes so rather marty mcsorley the evidence is it's his word and so i guess rather than be a tattletale as a tough guy i understand the thinking he's wrong but i understand the thing yeah you're

probably wrong you probably want to take eric lindros out for a couple games is what you want do yeah well it probably takes away from some of your your prestige as a tough guy to be a snitch i suppose i guess your rep is enhanced by this moment yes yes i don't want you missing games because next time i see you i'm gonna beat the shit out of you you know i'm sure that's what he was saying uh or something along those lines but burke wanted to hammer lindros because he bit a guy we have video of you biting a guy a guy who lied to you and made your jobs harder by lying to you but only barely because there's footage they honestly honest to goodness i have no uh shame or hesitation saying this the only reason brendan lemieux got five games is because

it open to guys who are just going to get hot oh god that's well because now we have 45 so how many that's a that's a lot more reasonable number how many of the 45 are forwards and how many of the 45 are defenders is it 30 forwards 15 defenders you have more question marks on the forward group than you have on uh the defense like the defense you could probably pare it down to like 15 see because that's that's supposed to be canada's weak point this year well and goaltending but that's supposed to be canada's one of canada's weak points so would you want the list to be longer than because you're less sure about it if somebody like manji apani isn't on the list

can they go i don't think so no he is on the list he is okay so some people do know the list some people i think they know like individual players okay and stuff like that like then kadri must be on it i well and we know the list involves recency bias that's why manjapani's on it because he was with team canada that's why nick suzuki is on it because he had a very good playoff what did kadri do it got suspended got suspended again right so it's not based on if Kadri made the list, he has to be on the radar to make this team in the

starting lineup. If he didn't make the list, he can't have them. I don't think there's a reality where Kadri's on that list. Laying it out as you did, where his most recent history is getting suspended, where you have question marks about him in big games,

where he doesn't have a history of being a Team Canada player, I don't think on the list tavaris couturier and who cares is such a heavy burden yeah the cj fourth line is tavaris couturier and stamkos oh that's good i think mark stone on cj's lineup is a little too high up on the list it's huberto point stone well yeah why wouldn't you switch i would switch stamkos and stone that's that way that's that you have a defensive line of Tavares, Couturier,

Stone. Yeah. And then you have Huberto. You have the all Florida line. Huberto with Point and Stamkos. Point and Stamkos have played together a lot, I'm pretty sure. I would 100% do that. Got it. You know what? Alright, you've sold me on this whole Olympics

bear would see the most unique group of people in the zoo um because not all zoos have polar bears right so but a lot of zoos like there's a there's zoo staples right you gotta have a hippo you gotta have a rhino you gotta have a giraffe but i feel like monkey yeah a lot of canadian zoos

or a lot of tourists would come to canada go to a zoo and be like well we have to see the polar bears because you know what was actually a really popular animal for people from uh overseas to come see the raccoon oh i'm not kidding just uh they walk down any street in toronto and look at a garbage can and see a raccoon in it yeah someone asked me where the raccoons was once and because i was working at the stroller rental and i was like well it's all the way down in the canadian domain if you want to see them now or if you want to wait till about eight o'clock tonight you can just stay here because i see the raccoons every single night and they were like if i'm not mistaken well sometimes they wouldn't i would think that joke is funny but they wouldn't

get it because they don't understand that i wasn't kidding raccoons just walk up but uh if i'm not mistaken the the raccoon exhibit at the canadian at the toronto zoo is just open and they just put things that raccoons like in it and they come and go oh wow that's interesting yeah the peacocks have been uh seen in like local farms and stuff they just roaming yeah they just roam all the time i had a cousin from aruba visit once when i was like a teenager and he was scared of squirrels because he had no idea that squirrels were a thing and these little these big rodents run around with these giant things they climb trees and they're running through traffic and all this stuff and need no idea what a squirrel was when i went to florida i saw those little lizards i don't even

know what they are and there's my wife and i like oh i wonder which ones are tourists and we're we're taking pictures of the little lizards because we don't have little lizards that's the same somebody coming here and taking a picture of a squirrel of a squirrel and we go oh look at that goof taking a picture of a squirrel no they don't have squirrels no it's uh and the raccoon thing um what was planet earth on netflix there's a whole section on the toronto raccoon oh yeah yeah oh i do remember do you remember that yeah there's a whole a whole um feature like 15 minutes on the toronto raccoon and it makes it because it's something that isn't in the rest of the world i shouldn't say the toronto raccoon the canadian raccoon i guess

it is definitely well now that i'm in oshawa i will say it's definitely much more of a toronto thing because of the garbage there aren't nearly as many in oshawa there aren't nearly as many although my neighbor did have a whole nest of them but yeah Osh was more about like rabbits and coyotes I didn't tell you this in the summer I was face to face with a coyote

I was walking by a field and we both saw each other and we both being completely different species were like what the fuck are you it was crazy I stared it in the eyes I continued walking

because I know coyotes i don't know it was it was small enough that i was like okay you'd create problems but i'd create a bigger one and it probably thought the same thing and we decided to part ways if it was like a wolf i'd be like fuck i don't know what i would do did you have iggy no okay because i was gonna say that could have been a problem that could have been a problem no because i have uh i have a family member who was walking a very tiny dog and they were followed by a coyote this coyote did not follow me toronto's had a more recent problem with coyote because of the pandemic nobody was out and about so the coyotes infiltrated the city and now there's a whole bunch

of coyotes that have never been here before and they're roaming around they're starting to be more foxes as well and the reason for that is there was there were no foxes for a while uh and i remember mentioning that to someone who worked at the zoo i was like it's so weird i never see a fox and he goes no well that's because a disease wiped them out no in the region but now they're making a comeback because what happens is they're you know disease wipes them out so rabbits get to thrive and like all their uh traditional prey gets to thrive well when there's an abundance of prey the predators come back so that's why there's all these coyotes and foxes and bet you didn't know i knew all this you are a wealth of random animal knowledge i've worked there for seven years like
