Starting point is 00:04:01 Mitch Marner, 500 career assists, golf class. Yep. And I was so tired during the LFR, I don't think I mentioned it once. And he is the, what is he? The fastest among active players. and mcdavid and crosby are the only other two yeah that are ahead of them that did it faster amongst active players it's really cool if you crack the nhl as a skater you have a 2.2 percent chance of scoring 500 assists in your career wow that's how like special it is to hit that mark
Starting point is 00:04:32 he passed matt duchesne who is active and was drafted six years prior to him uh he passed mark savard yep who is his assistant coach and another guy he passed with 499 career assists randy carlisle wow randy carlisle randy randy well that's fantastic yes it's uh it's a special thing to hit that milestone and he's not 30 and he's not even particularly close to 30 and he did it on a philip myers goal which we all thought 100 we were like it's gonna be a philip meyer's goal that just that he gets it on blasting the thing and having it hit off i think it was maddie benears yeah and he deserves it what maddie benears for looking like a man yeah no screw that at 21 21 years old no it's uh yeah i i'm so jealous of his facial hair yeah me too it's
Starting point is 00:05:22 upsetting me too um no uh philip philip philip yeah we really got set back last night well because okay he said kept saying philip so gordon miller calls him philip jesse you have the pronunciation list and it says philip on the leaf's official pronunciation list yeah and people some people have told me that it's philip a lot of the guys people pronounce their name wrong for years and they don't care like right oh you're good timothy little you're good lilligran everybody pronounced the name differently and then eventually when he was traded he's like okay here's a point where i can switch my name up and they're bashful andreas johnson just let us misspell his name right for several years and with a lot of we've been through this a million times but with a lot of the foreign
Starting point is 00:06:04 names you you can englishify it and it's fine you know and they're okay with that and they're like yeah that's how you should say it over here but if i'm gonna say it in my native tongue it's this complicated thing with a lot of vowels in the middle that i can't say and then there's stephen lorenz and philip myers who we don't really have an excuse actually we just stephen lorenz like his dad is like yeah it's lorenz but it's fine you guys say lorenz that's nice mr lorenz i'm saying lorenz i'm done no lorenz it's lorenz i asked the fucking guy and he said his name was lorenz everybody on tv calls him lorenz i can't i can't break i even had listeners messaging me going i worked with his sister at such and such thing when we grew up or whatever you know because
Starting point is 00:06:47 he's from toronto right and they're like they even say it's law rents yeah yeah and that's yeah but you know we should all have a community like uh the lorenz family because everyone who messages me they start it with i'm from kitchener waterloo and i will die for steven lorenz if he asked me to even if he didn't ask me to i'd die for him i would give him my left arm if he needed it if he required because i am from a similar place to him they love that guy this is definitely two coffees already yeah um yeah philip myers first goal since 2022 good for him and only 27 games since 2022 which kind of shows you that's this this is a guy who had a four-year contract where he was making two and a half million dollars and you know the cap goes flat all of a sudden
Starting point is 00:07:36 that deal becomes too expensive and he's spending a lot of time in the AHL and I think that's a heck of a story in and of itself he earns this four-year deal you think well I'm gonna I'm an NHL player now and then all of a sudden you're just not an NHL player and I think he was always at least this good well certainly he was but you know when the when the economics change and what happens here it's not the big players that get squeezed it's the it's the you know it's the middle to lower class in terms of like how much money you're making at the nhl level and yes was he still making two and a half million dollars playing in the ahl sure but i don't think that was the goal and i think you you kind of gave me a sort of a flash point of how uh lucky they are every day
Starting point is 00:08:16 and how lucky they feel every day to be in the NHL. It's not because they're not great. It's because they know it's kind of on the edge of a knife. And there are so many factors that go into you playing that the fact that he's only played 27 games since 2022 in the NHL is interesting. And he's played for some real good organizations too. Tampa, Nashville prior to this year.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Like it just hasn't worked out. Hasn't worked out. And so good for him. Happy to see it. Happy for Mitch. 500 career assists is a pretty incredible uh milestone and for a leaf to be mentioned next to two of the best players to ever play in in Crosby and McDavid in this one particular stat you have to understand and and a lot of you I I'm gonna sound like uh like old school Don Cherry you kids
Starting point is 00:09:01 um a lot of you don't realize how that never happened like oh my god before this era of matthews marner kneelander which we do take for granted um we didn't have anybody anybody that we could hang our hat on for that uh in the previous 25 years especially people that were drafted and developed and raised in this organization you know what people used to talk about when you know we had kujo and sundin and all those guys was well uh they're you know uh doug gilmore should have won the heart that your gretzky did in 93 right doug gilmore had the better year and i i actually agree with that i think he should have won the heart over gretzky uh when he got 145 points and it was like 100 and something assists or whatever yeah it was crazy i don't know enough
Starting point is 00:09:47 about gretzky but but you know but after that it was nothing it was no one and it was never a draft pick and you have to go all the way back to like daryl sitler for that to be daryl sitler borya salming lanny mcdonald era for that to be a thing and i think just to take a quick second quick snapshot gentlemen of this decade as much as there's been no playoff success and there hasn't been uh the regular season success is astounding and we can't ignore that every I don't know week it feels like Leafs PR is releasing some sort of statement like oh Marner or Matthews or Nylander became the whatever whatever and they're reaching some milestone the next goal Matthew scores he's gonna he's gonna tie Daryl Sittler uh for second all-time on the Leafs ever and I'm positive he
Starting point is 00:10:33 doesn't care like even a little like marner like i watched the post-game interviews hey hit 500 assists he's like uh yeah all right like i'm probably not gonna think about that after tonight right which is hey eyes on the prize i love that yep jesse yeah if you look at this era like it's such a great point because before austin matthews won the heart trophy in in 21-22 season the last heart trophy the leafs won was ted kennedy in 1955 yeah that is a long time between heart trophies and one thing growing up listening to bob mccowan on radio in toronto he always used to say throughout the history of the nhl the toronto maple leafs never had the best player on their team you know there's a league with six teams when they started out and
Starting point is 00:11:22 you can never at any point pinpoint okay the leafs have the guy they have like the gretzky or the or or Maurice Richard there's always somebody better on one of these teams we might have the MVP the heart trophy like Ted Kenny that year but you can always point to somebody who's better and finally like we're getting to a point where we have some of the best guys at least you know there's moments where Austin Matthews is the best player and the Leafs have never been this successful in the history of their franchise it's great William Nylander has an outside chance at winning the Rocket Richard trophy this year and he's not even the best goal scorer on the team no yeah yeah because he plays with the best goal scorer in the world who happens to be on a slump
Starting point is 00:11:57 No, there's a reason this team doesn't have a cup since there were six teams in the league. There's a lot of down moments for the history of this franchise, and we're in the most successful regular season era ever of the Leafs. It's cool to live through this. Anybody born in 2000? You have no idea. Oh, man. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:12:16 Hey, Matty. Hey. Matty, that's true. You're a millennium baby. Yeah, yeah. On the dot, 2000. 2000 on the dot. 2000 and
Starting point is 00:12:27 no not and 2000 relax relax just triple zeros baby let's go like even think of some of the all-stars like guys who have been all-stars on the Leafs in our lifetime like Leo Komarov oh my god he wasn't even
Starting point is 00:12:44 on my list uh which goes to show uh Leo Komarov Felix Potvin who was like my childhood idol like how many and deserved it Vesna votes did he ever get though right and he always faced the most shots but always that always perplexed me like he had good numbers and faced the most shots the Leafs were terrible defensively in the early 90s terrible Dimitri Iskevich he was an all-star oh yeah wow Gary Roberts okay I could
Starting point is 00:13:10 see that he was pretty great all-star well it's probably because Matz didn't want to go it's probably because Matz was like no thanks well like even I remember someone made a comment because gary roberts was passing the puck to mats i think in one of the skills competitions and someone made a joke about like oh yeah you could have given them uh could have given them a shovel and he would have delivered the same passes and i'm like that's a that's a that's a grinder type guy that's a playoff warrior it's not exactly what you picture when it comes to the all-star finesse great yeah and even mats like i would love to know during his leave tenure what's the closest he ever got to league MVP.
Starting point is 00:13:49 He might have finished top 10 a couple times. Yeah, and he might have barely squeaked into the top 10 in scoring, but it was not... He was really, really consistent. Yes. Hovering around 75, 80 points at a time where you could league... 88 points for Winnie the Art Ross.
Starting point is 00:14:04 Yes. Can I give you two final awards things? Give it to us. That are my favorite sad things about the Leafs. One, you mentioned the Rocket Richard Trophy. austin matthews was the first leaf to ever win that on no leaf in the history had ever won the lead the league in goal score well uh they invented the rocket richard trophy like like midway through the nhl so they might have led the league but that trophy nobody had won it until
Starting point is 00:14:28 austin no leaf to this day has ever won the norris trophy uh ever ever it's it was invented in 1954 and no leaf leaf has ever won it that's that's our franchise when riley could have been one year in the original six where they're like okay we got them this year right they had over two what did they had 15 years and they had a good little run come on now you know what's funny is that like i don't think fans from other teams if you're listening to this and there are so many of you and we so appreciate you i don't think you realize like and i've said this before the devastating effect that the leafs top 100 in their first 100 years had on us because there's such a unbelievable lack of star power on it yeah okay here's how completely unattainable the norris is
Starting point is 00:15:16 for for the leafs riley yeah 20 goals right 72 points remember that season it was a great year he was automatic he finished fifth yeah they might never get one but look at who finished ahead of him right but because like kale mccarg's yeah like not back then not like he's competing with guys who are really good he would have competed with like carlson and stuff like that right okay it was great yeah you know who won the norris the year the that riley finished fifth i don't know i have no idea i don't even know what year that is number four was john carlson okay three was victor headman two was brent burns the winner yosi mark giordano oh when he was 35 when he was 35 hockey reference is so good for that um they'll show you the uh voting voting
Starting point is 00:16:05 yeah so so good like did salming ever even like get nominated that's insane that's insane that's insane so our cup runneth over well well not a regular season yes right now runneth over and then it spills everywhere and we gotta fill it again yeah yeah we gotta keep filling up that cup if it runneth over you know what i'm saying uh anyway listen the other thing i want to say is how nice was it to see Anthony Stoller's back? Oh, like a warm blanket. Here's the thing. It was eight weeks.
Starting point is 00:16:37 It was supposed to be four to six weeks, but they were able to give him the extra couple weeks because Joseph Wohl was playing so well. And it's so nice. It's so weird to say, but it was so nice to see Wohl get a break. Oh, my God. And for Stoller's to come in and go,
Starting point is 00:16:54 yeah, I could still do this. It was weird seeing him on the bench. Yeah. Now that save on Brandon Montour specifically, Oh, that's when I mean, he had been building up, building up, building up. But that glove save on Montour where he's laughing at Montour and Montour is laughing back. There were they were, you know, obviously friends and teammates in Florida last year. I thought I'm like, OK, like he's he's not just feeling it like he's all the way back.
Starting point is 00:17:17 He that's the second time this season he's done that. I might have been the preseason, but he absolutely robbed Vladimir Tarasenko, robbed him and just looks at him and laughs afterward. right that's that's his uh you want to cup with that guy adam do you want to talk about the conversation we had which is because adam asked me on wednesday or tuesday i forget or did i see you on tuesday i don't know anyways adam asked me he's like there's one random comment in my stream and they're like anthony stallers is going to come back this weekend should we should we check on this yeah and i go adam he's not gonna he's gonna wait till after four nations because stallers has been practicing fully with the team since the 28th of january and he's just been like okay i'm good
Starting point is 00:18:01 but i'm not good i want to be a hundred percent and then i'll get back into the lineup and i was like he's not gonna just decide one game before four nations to just come back you don't need to check on that stuff and then before even when the random comment predicted which was would be the vancouver game right before even then he's like okay i'm good to go i think we have sources in our in our in our chat for because jesse's like he's like it's a random guy in the chat he's like i haven't seen that report anywhere and i hadn't either i was like jesse have you heard of this no because he's ready but he's not he it's up to him when he wants to be ready i was like he's gonna wait what are we talking about here yeah so i was like yeah don't even check on that and then
Starting point is 00:18:37 all of a sudden he decided to even jump that and he's back so yeah he's he's a very um like he's very careful he loves sports um the master has mentioned it on the broadcast i think about how much well not all guys like others like i mean other sports not just hockey because a lot of hockey guys just like hockey yes you know so he's he's very particular about the sports science part of the game right he knows when his body is a hundred percent and and he was very meticulous about this comeback here and yeah like that extra time you mentioned i think that's really important to him and you see on the ice like there was no getting back to game speed it was i'm here tonight i'm gonna be back to where i was back in the fall whatever they did they nailed it whatever they did
Starting point is 00:19:20 they freaking nailed it like to the point where i'm like give them saturday yeah play the canucks i don't know give wool that way you can give wool like over two weeks off yeah uh i don't know it it we're now at a nice lovely place where right right where we were in november i don't care who starts right i don't even care right don't do you look around the league look at the seattle kraken that is a luxury very few teams enjoy the the kraken decor was good last night too decor was beaten by three goals one was a uh tip off veneers it was a tip off veneers yeah the second one was a power play deflection the third one probably shouldn't account right yeah we'll get to it uh that's a really rich and they only scored one goal and he
Starting point is 00:20:20 had a friggin assist on it if joey decord's a net that's a playoff team if they're not uh sell the ticket yeah like if if you find out day of joey decord is not playing and it's a home game sell the ticket i don't i don't know who the new guy is um now that grubauer is not there but like grubauer was a non-option yeah and it was you you knew that before halloween that honestly i mean if i was going to say anything about the crack and i've been thinking about this for a bit and i feel like if anything could sink ron francis this offseason i don't know how much longer he's going to get anyway but if anything is going to sink him it's it's the goaltending situation because grubauer's got two more years after this at 475 and by the way their backup is alice stetsa
Starting point is 00:21:07 Oh. Alex Stetson. Who I believe has never played in an NHL game. Yeah. Stetska, excuse me. I don't know. You can check on that, but I'm pretty sure that's right. The odds of him being worse are, I'll be honest, slim.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Yeah. Grubauer was what? Was it 860-something or 870-something? It's not good. Like Vestaskela with the Leafs was, I want to say, an 870-something. Save percentage this year was 866. Whoa. 866?
Starting point is 00:21:36 Show the ticket! yeah i hope all he played was road games like you can't subject your fans to that he'll also be bought out this summer i assume gotta be there's some good savings you'll get you'll get three million three point nine million dollars next season 2.8 the year after and then just 1.6 1.6 in 27 28 28 29 that man was nominated for the vestna trophy yep he was the runner-up like one of the craziest fall-offs I've ever seen um I've noticed on this on this road trip and this goes back to the Edmonton game Saturday that the Leafs have played you know what they call that north-south game that that uh Berube really likes so it's not you know if they're making passes it's
Starting point is 00:22:19 long down the ice not side to side side to side side to side which is what they did so much of last year which drives people crazy um but it's a lot more open and free-flowing than than I think it had been previously now i think part of that is nizen tavaris being back and that's great i think part of that is um morgan riley has re-emerged a little bit he's had a really good week or so and and so i wanted to talk to you guys just about the the formatting of the team and how because it does feel like the system that they are playing has sped up and they are ready for it to speed up right you're seeing shots off the rush specifically guys like bobby mcmahon not last night but yeah rush in and score i i need to look into it obviously you haven't had time with
Starting point is 00:23:03 the late game and then all that you you understand the deal but the leafs have been criticized for uh their their defense doesn't generate offense well they were instrumental in all three goals um uh they scored the first one and then uh it was deflections off of defenseman shots on the other two but they move the puck up the ice really well like i i want to know what like their their zone exits are like their success rate um how often it leads to entries how good they are preventing the other team from getting out of their zone which really feels like a strength of theirs compared to last year and i'm not trying to dump on the guy because i know he's having a terrible year but um tj brody really struggled at times with that um they're they're just able to
Starting point is 00:23:53 do more now there was some encouraging things Domi and Matthews works I've been saying that all year yeah I just take a gotta take a hand of credit for that please yes but it's always can't take too much credit why Marner had a really good game I thought Tavares was oh my god he could have had a hat trick um yeah poor Tavares a that post that he hits like oh my god Nylander, I'm pretty sure, had the worst game score on the team. Hilarious. Hilarious. And, I mean, it's not like the Leafs, for most of the game,
Starting point is 00:24:28 looked like the better team. Not the whole game, but most of it. I don't love him on the left wing. And remember a few years ago, it's like, oh, he prefers to be on the left. And then they tried it, and it wasn't good. Right. So it's like you solved one thing, and you created another problem in the process.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Who knows? Maybe Saturday night they throw the same lineup out there and they're great. I don't know. But they're still trying to figure out the right mix. What I love about this year's team is they're fidgety. Craig Berube is trying everything. Thank God. I think he's trying everything, guys, to show them that they need a third line center
Starting point is 00:25:10 or a second line center who can play third or second. I think he's yelling Brad. Pontus Holmberg has the same amount of goals as Fraser Minton in triple the games. I don't even hate that player. It's not a role for him. He is a non-option to score goals. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:29 I mean, Domi is three. But Domi can do things offensively that Holmberg can't. Holmberg can do things defensively that Domi can't. But I'd rather see Domi on the right of Matthews. It really does that one position in the lineup sticks out like a sore thumb. And, you know, yesterday I made a joke online about like being a Luke Cunning truther now and the Leafs got to get him from the Sharks. Like even getting him would improve that position a thousand percent.
Starting point is 00:26:03 I hope they're aiming higher. I do too. And we are going to talk about potential Leafs trades coming up. So let's not get too into it. Can you imagine? No offense to Luke. I think he's a great player and I love the ad. And if anybody was listening to that CJ show
Starting point is 00:26:14 at Boston Pizza, the guy was like, he started the question with, I hate, who's the guy, who's the owner of the Caps? Ted Leons. I hate Ted Leons. And what are the Leafs trading for Luke Cunin? And we were like, wow, all right. Okay, Luke Cunin has five and a half times
Starting point is 00:26:33 the goals that Holmberg has. Wow. He has 11. That's it. That would be great. this is what i'm talking about it's it's i hope they aim higher because they might be unstoppable but aim anything yep agreed take a shot in the dark that maybe hit something uh jesse it looks like you're looking at something over there and i'm curious what's going through your mind uh no
Starting point is 00:26:57 i was just saying i was thinking about uh steve in his favorite word uh of late his bumblefuck it looked like so good your word bumblefuck well i stole it from a friend of ours oh i don't i didn't know that i thought that was an original sorry i'm half italian this is well you know friends of us just as a joke thief over here yeah it's true it's true but they wouldn't want credit for it so i was thinking about that and in relation to william nylander you talk about him playing on the left side last night like he bumblefucked the puck all over the place it looked like he hated playing on the left side you know when somebody's that successful of late and you're almost leading the league in goals it feels wrong to move you off of that position when something's

Yeah. didn't have the best camp according to uh greg brew he was healthy scratched more than once this season if i'm not mistaken well i don't see any of those in his future no he's been he's been spectacular and he is sort of the depth scoring that you could say he's looking the leafs have
Starting point is 00:32:23 been looking for 17 goals now um and and i think what's interesting about the way bobby mcmahon scores it's not just one way he can be off the rush because he has blazing speed it can be a tip in front of the net because he's got to stick down and it's you know the second unit's on and they got more than 30 seconds to play that was so encouraging yeah the last two goals Bobby McMahon has scored if I'm not mistaken were that tip in front and that those filthy freaking hands that led to the backhander on the power play so their power play goals which is awesome now you're getting production out of your second unit as well but McMahon who's such a sniper he's he's scoring those playoff goals right those goals that are never friggin there like oh it keeps me up at

Starting point is 00:35:17 like it looks like it's a high stick well in my opinion i would say uh because there is not enough leaf homerism out there that uh matthew nice uh had the stick right across his chest which is below the uh crossbar what so hey everybody eat shit here's here's the most fascinating part to me like they made the right call in that um goal on the ice call on the ice was a goal and there was no conclusive evidence right what i'm fascinated by is why wasn't there conclusive evidence there's only two angles right yeah what does seattle well not i think there's more probably more angles in head office no but like for for leaf games for example whenever they show the you know oh was it a high stick or not there's the overhead which is completely useless yep
Starting point is 00:36:08 completely it doesn't help with the net part yeah no so it there's essentially one angle that helps you evaluate this does absolutely nothing yeah uh if anybody's watching we have or listening we have the overhead angle which doesn't make sense for determining whether the stick was above the crossbar yeah anyways yeah it's absolutely yeah it's like yeah it makes no sense um then there's the behind the net angle which helps you a bit but like it's difficult to conclusively call a goal back with that but then leave home games for sure and i'm sure most other arenas there's another camera that's like from the other end of the ice and it's not even necessarily the greatest like it's not the greatest footage but it helps you understand the plane where the puck is way
Starting point is 00:37:00 better and well it's entirely just not showing well they may not have that camera yeah it's a brand new building why don't they have because the broadcast team the building doesn't pay for the cameras the broadcast group does so if if the if the local broadcast i don't know if it's fanduel or whoever whatever that network that runs most of their local games but they probably just don't have it hasn't been the need toronto maple leafs games could easily be the case are they have far more cameras at a toronto maple leafs game than they would at your average nhl game like in in the states probably yeah so that's why there is an angle in the nfl that i believe is the down the there's there's one angle that they have cameras in the pylon and then they have another
Starting point is 00:37:40 angle where cameras are like sat behind the goal line you can see down the goal line to see if something is a touchdown or not and that angle isn't allowed to be used in instant replay instances because only 18 out of the 32 stadiums have it oh so you can't say that we're allowed to use this in some stadiums in some other ones so i don't know if this applies to the nhl and this what we're talking about i just think it's an interesting parallel in that yeah there are cases where that's biggest league in north america they only 18 of the 32 stadiums have that camera angle available i don't get that at all unless it's uh unless it's something that all the teams have i assume that there's a little bit of uh discrepancy in what's available to the referees the nfl is worth
Starting point is 00:38:20 11 gajillion dollars what like is that not the easiest problem to solve in the entire world yes but it's a newer angle that some of the teams have installed and some haven't so it take it This isn't just, hey, go do it and everybody does it. I feel like there's a process with the broadcast team and the stadium and all that stuff. So they're working on that. But currently this season, not everybody had it. So it's illegal to the referees to use that
Starting point is 00:38:46 because it's an unfair advantage to that stadium and those teams there. So that goal goes in. I'm really happy about it that it counts because even though I don't understand it, I do happen to cheer for the Leafs. So that was cool. But then a thought occurred to me.
Starting point is 00:38:59 I'm like, boy, I really hope the Leafs don't absolutely job the Leafs for the rest of this game. And boy, howdy did they. That was one of the worst officiated games of the season. The patch already tripping. Like going both ways. Dude, the Matthews Montour thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:15 It wasn't a stick. Yeah. And they took no care to like investigate. No, and that drove me up a wall because Seattle called a timeout. You now have 30 free seconds to look at a screen and make the right call. ah can't be arsed you stink that should be somewhere in the rules it's like hey we can
Starting point is 00:39:37 just flip this or if there's a penalty call in the final two minutes they can investigate can't someone call and be like yeah no yeah like they just do it i felt like we had this conversation we had like a similar conversation earlier this year and i can't even remember which way it went but it was like sort of the same thing it's like why just look at the thing and correct because they do sometimes look at the jumbotron and correct their mistakes yeah that's that's secret like you're not you're supposed to they did that a few years ago like that's literally what it is you're not supposed to do that yeah but sometimes cory servette's like they did that a few years ago i want to say it was matt hunwick got a high stick and the ref went up and he was in the penalty
Starting point is 00:40:17 box and left and i'm like i don't think i've ever seen that in my entire life yeah but what you how do you even get mad at that as the other team yeah they got it right got it right yeah and the scotia bank arena is great for doing that for if there's a blatant call like against the leafs if they don't like hurt the leafs or anything but it's against the other team they'll show it on the jumbotron and then and then the whole arena goes and then sometimes the refs fix it don't treat the audience like children that that used to be a thing um i want to say the broadcast crew at the blue jays years and years and years ago got in trouble um or like not the broadcast crew the in stadium uh media crew they would like show balls and strikes and i want to say the umpires
Starting point is 00:41:03 union which are just the biggest bunch of pants shitting babies in the entire world said something about it and they got mad and the league was like oh you can't do that it used to be against major league baseball rules to show contentious replays on the jump it was so annoying i remember being at games like that i'd be like can i just see what happened it was it was against major league baseball rules and then uh like half a decade ago they fixed it yeah i got an idea um i paid money to be here how about you go fuck yourself and show me the replay yeah yeah it's ridiculous like we're if something is so blatant that you can see it within five seconds on one replay on television you should be able to fix that on the ice yes like we're all we're not
Starting point is 00:41:40 stupid we're adults something was wrong watch the camera fix it yeah i understand you can't review everything no you don't want to make the games longer seattle gave you a get out of jail free the funniest possible outcome of that would have been seattle taking a timeout the refs look at it and then oh yeah no you don't get a power play anymore but that would have been funny but like you didn't need to delay the game the game was already delayed they took a timeout like craig berube should have been like timeout go look yeah you know coaches have like a certain time limit to where they can challenge a play yeah it's like 20 seconds from when the goal scored to when we want to drop the puck you got to submit your challenge referees should have that with
Starting point is 00:42:22 like anything hey within 15 seconds if you can see on a monitor that you got it wrong fix it here's the thing jesse they do because sometimes they get together at center ice and go did you see what i see right they do and then and then they you know what no no sorry what i just said no no but they're not allowed to use technology right against the rule it's just stupid they should be allowed to use technology i think they're worried about slowing down the game and being nhl referees that's exactly what they would do right and and so that's that's the thing is the nhl is like listen if we let them do this we know a ref like how much time do we blast through in calgary how late did that game go just because of those two um what were they first period uh
Starting point is 00:43:02 those were too long probably shot clock as jesse says it's two minutes dude for years you don't know in two minutes then the colony i stand i said three like two no no two i'm down with two two minutes it's how much do you really need to look at one two three there's three angles on it one two three plays probably five or ten seconds long max you got enough time if you got to take 10 minutes to look at the pixels of the skate to see what blah blah blah blah then it's not evidence to turn over the call yeah just go with the call on the ice now it takes 10 minutes to look at pixels the right team won and and the kraken did not score also hire one more guy for every single game you're creating jobs put him in the press box he's the one looking at the

I'd love to know what the record was while Decord was out. When you have a single solitary goalie, it's hard to win hockey games, man.
Starting point is 00:49:45 They've gotten, I'm pretty sure the answer is five non-Joey Decord wins this year. You can't. You're not going to the playoffs with that. You're not even close. Yeah. You're not even close. Yeah. And they don't think they have the elite talent up front to offset that.
Starting point is 00:50:02 No, they don't. Yeah. Like, they're decent in goals four per game. I think they're like 14th, but their special teams kind of stinks. 26th in the league in power play, 23rd in penalty kill. And when you get to the playoffs, the team with the best PK penalty kill split usually wins the championship. Special teams is where a place you can take advantage of teams that are just better than you on paper. And they're not able to do that.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Like here, let me correct myself a little bit. They have... Correct yourself, idiot. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 players with 20 or more points. that's pretty good like not every team can boast that no one's even sort of close to a point a game uh their leading scorer is jared mccann with 42 points in 56 games which is good but for it to lead your team like someone hits wasn't it 70 the other day holy shit like that's a it's a pretty big gap um but like mccann stevenson schwartz bjorkstrand veneers right montour tolvan and
Starting point is 00:51:04 dunn reicher evans like these are all solid players but like you need uh as adam said the je ne sais quoi yeah they need the high-end talent like i said five on five they're 10th in the league in goals that's pretty good where you're gonna get the special players the special teams and their power play just isn't good yeah you know what would have made sense for them in retrospect And it's funny because, you know, Columbus paid this team to take this contract. They paid a little bit more like it was was Patrick lining. Patrick lining would have made a lot of sense for the Kraken. And it's great that Montreal took advantage.

Now, Columbus had exactly set him up to perform and made him a center and made him play defense and all this stuff. But if you had taken out a Patrick line into that lineup and tell me what happens. A healthy Patrick lining all season. could be pretty uh that's a playoff team yeah you need a goal score i still i still think it's as simple as joey decord is 18 14 and 3 with a 9 16 yeah yeah philip grubauer is 5 15 and 1 he has earned the kraken 11 points in 21 games so 42 possible points he's gotten you 11 and he's got an 866 that's not an nhl option right um no nhl defenseman has more blocks than
Starting point is 00:52:26 chris tan of this according to luke fox 146 blocks so far this year no nhl forward has more blocks than brandon tanev with 80 no way yeah no way the tan have combined for more than 280 uh blocks this year which is in crazy a crazy stat when you think about it now where we're you know there's the there's a lot of lee fans because chris tanov has worked out so beautifully here lee fans want brandon tanov and i get why i totally get why my question is first off the guy makes three and a half so they'd have to retain seattle would have to retain the deals up at the end of the year you could get them for free in the summer but as in like money yeah you could pay money to get him but brandon tana for me is uh is he an upgrade on what they would

Starting point is 00:56:35 also and this is where it really flies in the logic that noah dobson is available who is like that that's insanity to me if that's true you got lou's gotta retire now i you're gonna you're gonna dangle noah dobson and re-sign brock nelson i don't i don't want to um uh discredit these guys because i'm used to having details on stuff and getting discredited i i don't believe it well i just don't believe it's a source and and and it might be you never know what the islanders right like they could be just feeding sometimes that people feed information that isn't always true so that they can change like here's the thing if you're the islanders you're going you're getting a lot of calls about Brock Nelson
Starting point is 00:57:19 and you're going to tell if you're Lou Lammarello this is a key Lou thing he's not available he's not available until the price is what Lou wants it to be that's what the price is right and you know there's the whole thing out there about Brock Nelson is very loyal to the island and he wants to sign an extension
Starting point is 00:57:36 there and that's one report but if you're a general manager a la Barry Trotz with Ryan O'Reilly we're going to he doesn't have a no trade clause but we're going to treat him like he has a no trade clause with respect meaning blow us away blow the doors off otherwise we're not moving him i don't think that if if that report is to be believed i have no reason not to believe it if that report is to be believed because
Starting point is 00:57:59 i don't have a source going against it sure that's insanity and lou's got to stop running this team well so like if that's how they really feel in there and the islanders are impossible to get anything out now what if they're just ramping things up to try to get an extension or a trade done because i think one thing that's important is to learn from your mistakes give it to me well this is a really important player for you a forward a center even and he's going into unrestricted free agency don't head into the off season or even the trade deadline without an answer because that guy might walk has that ever happened on the island no the key center nah you gotta learn from your mistake and that's the same guy it was lou burn brock nelson jerseys in the parking lot

Starting point is 00:59:34 what what are you doing he's a huge 23 year old right-handed center already had 70 points in his career yeah or like 60 or whatever it was uh what the fuck what are you doing you signed him to that deal for a reason right yeah i yo i actually have this crazy 68 points steve 68 wow there you go so i have this crazy theory that maybe his offense is down because the sabers stink no why are you getting rid of this play when do you ever plan on being sort of relevant well the the the report is that if cousins is available it's quote-unquote hockey trade so it has to be equal value and currently in the nhl and established coming back you're not going to build uh you're not going to build this around prospects so in this case you're not going to look at the top three prospects and
Starting point is 01:00:27 go can we build something from there they're not interested so a comparable 23 ish year old peterson that would be the only way this makes sense like i don't understand are you on drugs like yeah how do you find another 23 to 25 year old who another team doesn't want also play center also on a long-term deal with you know the value is going to go up and up and up with the cap so you gotta aim crazy like to me like so you throw out peterson i'm like yeah any deal uh if i'm the canucks any deal that has me sending peterson to the sabers has to involve dylan cousins sure okay and someone else probably after him i'm like okay available dudes in like their early-ish 20s who are established nhl players uh trevor zegras who like i don't even
Starting point is 01:01:21 know how many points he has are the ducks gonna trade mason third noted third liner mason mctavish if they're like really stupid yeah like yeah i don't again why are you why would you do that why are you trading that player there's no reason to trade that player like i'm trying to like who are comparables in the league their centers they're on they're on longer term deals making big money young like is dylan cousins getting traded for oh yeah i bet the la kings are out they're shopping quentin byfield like yeah what i'm not comparing the two players necessarily one is you know kind of breaking out the other's not um right now why are the buffalo sabers even entertaining the thought of trading this player well you'd have to rob someone somebody somebody
Starting point is 01:02:09 um somebody uh on blue sky the other day made a fake trade uh that that we had supposedly suggested on the show and it just pissed a bunch of sabers fans off because i i think i had suggested like ryan reeves for dylan cousins in this fake trade scenario it was hilarious and then i doubled down on it and so all the sabers fans that angrily replied at me i said you just don't know hockey um i i think anyone it's a great shirt and i listen i believe in democracy i think anyone who believed that as legitimate should have their right to vote stripped 100 so so i'm looking at this and and i'm you know and i think things are tough for sabers fans and i and i get that with you're too dumb to have an opinion on serious issues i'm sorry with something like that it it
Starting point is 01:02:54 just feels like there has to have been like if you're asking the question why is he available guys to me the question is what happened behind the scenes that we haven't heard about has the agent uh has there been dialogue between the team and the agent and and also the player of yeah you're not happy here we're not happy with you here it's it to me it's like it just seems to have come out of nowhere and i understand that there's a little bit of based on how he played a couple of years ago a little bit of underperformance his shooting percentage was berserk that year it was 14.7 the guy's normally around berserk it's berserk for him for him because the rest of his seasons he's been in around eight or nine percent so you know he's
Starting point is 01:03:36 probably a 25 goal guy maybe not a 31 goal guy is there has the team gone to him and said this isn't good enough is it an is is the player going i want out i'm not happy here i regret signing this to me there's a there's more smoke here than really anyone's looking at like what and what possible um problems do the sabers look to solve by trading this guy and again it goes back to who would be available why would the canucks give you pedersen now um and i i just i'm looking at this and going there's there maybe there's a relationship fraying here and that's why this all with the sabers i wonder oh no way i don't know i don't know what well no like i'm sorry i'm not mocking you i'm mocking that hunk of garbage franchise how many more times are you
Starting point is 01:04:21 going to do this with everyone right like i'm don't make me feel bad for sabers fans man i grew up hating them because they would beat the leafs in the playoffs all right all right all right i hated playing dominic hasik as a kid i hated seeing the sabers on the schedule because i knew i was about to watch a boring hockey game that my team was probably gonna lose it was the worst the worst and now i'm just sitting there and going these are some of the best hockey fans in the world and they are basically being subjected to the most inept organization the sport has maybe ever seen like in terms of bad regimes ever in the nhl does the current buffalo sabers and by current i mean like last 10 years do they fall into like
Starting point is 01:05:15 one of the bottom five worst yes in the modern era yes they have to of our lifetimes for sure like who's up there milbury you know what mike milbury's islanders did a couple times made the playoff made the fucking playoffs like are you kidding me sabers yeah they're a joke yeah and that dude you go and look at the moves milbury made you're like was he trying to make them shitty the sabers i just don't think have any idea what they're doing yeah so on the leafs i don't think that i don't think cousins is going to happen because i think they want to one for one uh Brock Nelson, it feels like you're going to have to swing for the sun and the moon. And if you're going to do that, and I would love for the Leafs to aim high.
Starting point is 01:05:58 I would love for the Leafs to go berserk and take a risk. Do what Masai Ujiri did. Bring in a Brandon Ingram, even though he's a little injured, and be like, fuck it, we're going for it. I would love for them to do that and trade a big prospect that would make people upset. Because you know what? At a certain point, you got two goalies that are great. you got Marner Matthews Nylander at the top
Starting point is 01:06:21 of their game maybe you should and so if that's not the guy and I don't think Cousins is going to be the guy if Nelson's the guy and you're going to
Starting point is 01:06:30 spend that kind of asset I would want you to have an extension in place the last guy I want to talk about is Braden Shen guys that is just apparently maybe
Starting point is 01:06:38 become available he does have a no trade clause he'd have to want to come to Toronto or any other team that wanted to pick him up to me he makes a lot of sense for like
Starting point is 01:06:45 well for a lot of teams because he's a very good player But this is a player in Braden Shen that is 33 now. That makes me so upset. I know. I covered him in junior. That makes me so upset. But are you, and what Drager said,
Starting point is 01:07:02 he said some believe there's the potential of Braden Shen being traded by the St. Louis Blues. He is their captain. He does have a full no trade, so it would be complicated. But we know Doug Armstrong can be very aggressive. The return would have to be Mammoth. Is there a team willing to pay it? And is Brayden Shen, guys, the guy that you want to have the Mammoth return for?
Starting point is 01:07:27 Are you willing to pay that price for a 33-year-old? He'd be an enormous improvement for the team, but Mammoth return for Brayden Shen? I think you need to check your calendar. He had 46 points in 82 games last year. He's got 30 and 55 this year, so about the same pace. You've got to check your calendar. jesse thoughts any yeah you got three more years on that contract too it's 6.5 million dollars so what you're paying for is to commit to braden shen being your third line center for the next
Starting point is 01:07:56 three years under that contract because i don't think you're going to be able to move it again or get retention right or get retention it doesn't it seems like like the cost shouldn't be that high considering you're taking on all of those years for a guy who's 33 yeah i feel like that's how you should go into the negotiations with Doug Armstrong it's like I'm taking a risk here by buying a 33 year old with three more years on his contract whose performance has only declined over the last half decade hey here you want you want mammoth return Doug okay you don't have to retain there's your mammoth return is you don't I don't I don't think that price should be astronomical on the Leafs end it should be a fairly simple deal if they want to do this one
Starting point is 01:08:37 if the price is too high don't do that yeah like that's not for you and i like great excellent like third line center next couple years 6.5 million dollars only looks even better as the cap keeps going up it's excellent price to pay but if it costs you a lot don't pay that move on get something else 40 40 points in 75 career playoff games he has not played in the playoffs since 21 22 because the blues have not been in them um can i offer a are we done with braden shun yeah can i offer who i think uh is a sneaky front runner to get dylan cousins yeah i want you to tell me what uh nico heischer brendan dylan jake allen jonah siegenthaler and eric holla all have in common they're devils they're devils and they are also clients of dylan cousins agent oh so you think

Starting point is 01:10:14 best fit for the leafs he is he is he finishes he okay we're talking about um like putting a guy between max domey and probably yarn croak or something like that you need a guy who can finish man gotta score goals you can't like you can't get another guy who just dishes the puck what's max good it would be like it would be like marner matthews but on the third line just addition to each other i'm not over the moon about giving up big assets um i'm down with it if it brings in a young like if it brought in dylan cousins if it brought in dylan cuz i'm down i'd do it um i think i prefer braden shen over brock nelson maybe meh i don't know i think that's weird no nelson's a better no he's a better offensive player it's just and he's been deep
Starting point is 01:11:01 in the playoffs a bunch of times you're right brock nelson's probably the better option like we gotta let go of a eastern cowan could be one day good like who cares yeah what if they win now yeah yeah you know what they the thing about it and steve you said it last episode it's like he might even be an nhl an nhl player right well that's why like cousins is 23 like yeah you he's what four years older yeah but even cousins is like oh he could be good oh really yeah no in comparison to brock nelson yeah i agree this season agree you're talking about brock nelson versus dylan cousins one of them has done it for his career and the other one's on pace for like 50 points yeah but with cousins you get a guy forever and ever i'm not
Starting point is 01:11:44 thinking about that i'm thinking about winning you should no you're a gm aren't you this year they need to win they need it they need to win like it's not an option anymore for the toronto maple leaves they have two goalies who are in the top to win top six top seven and in safe percentage top one dude you gotta get one you gotta get it and then look at brock nelson is coming off of three years 37 36 and 34 goals the last three years he's got 16 i'd like to apologize for what i said about nelson uh behind shen that's a stupid thing to say yeah and also nelson is uh 33 years old but he's on an expiring deal uh and uh in the playoffs brock nelson 78 games remember shen had 75 40 career points for shen 50 for brock nelson and 27 of those are goals the last time the
Starting point is 01:12:28 others were in the playoffs last season he had two goals to assist in five games imagine a forward on the leafs with two goals and two assists in one playoff series can you imagine nelson having that many points in the playoffs is crazy because those islanders teams would have won games negative one to zero if but who somebody scored for the minute was him oh man if the leafs it's not an option it's not on the table to lose to the red wings or the sends or the lightning no whoever's in that first wild card spot or the second seed or the third seed in the atlantic in the first round like it's not an option anymore and if cousins makes you better in 2026 but brock nelson makes you better right now you have to go after the guy who makes you good right now that's that's
Starting point is 01:13:07 there should be the start and end of everything in their trades can i tap the microphone for a sec the islanders are four points out of a playoff spot actually won like eight games in a row yeah They're on a tear. Eight and two in their last ten. Which could take Brock Nelson off the board. They're five points behind the Sens with two games in hand. They've gotten eight and two, and they're still three spots out of a playoff spot. But they were a million points behind.

Starting point is 01:16:52 their guy and Lindy Ruff did talk about the fact that well they should have grabbed somebody should have done something so what do they do the next game they start Dennis Gilbert and Matthew Olivier is in the starting lineup for Columbus and I assumed uh you know that probably that fight was staged before like they agreed to it beforehand that's not what happened but I thought you'd find Matthew Olivier's comments uh today about it pretty interesting uh Mark who is the Columbus Blue Jackets writer for the hockey writer. Starting point is 01:17:24 If you haven't seen this, they asked him about it. And here's what he said. There was no conversation before the game. I don't live under rocks. So I saw what happened there. I was trying to put myself in their shoes. What would I do in that situation? And funny enough, we've had a situation like this.
Starting point is 01:17:38 I don't remember if it was last year or a couple of years ago where we had to address it as a team. I didn't get the chance to play the next game after that, but I know that I was thinking we have to send a message. So I was expecting some type of message. I don't know what it was going to be, who, what, but I know that's what I would have done, at least try to send a message. Now, maybe not that way, but that's what I would have done.
Starting point is 01:18:01 My mindset was we're not going to accept that, as in Columbus will not accept that. It didn't happen against us, and we're not going to have teams try to start sending messages against us. So it was about standing up for ourselves for the team and sending a message that we're not the team you do that against uh go do that against someone else and you know what is such a problem and he's right he he won that is the yeah he's won every fight like i'm trying to i can't think of when he's lost he had he had two fights against arbor jack i this season they're crazy and so okay i was wrong about the assumption that they agreed to this beforehand but the fight was
Starting point is 01:18:37 still staged everybody knew it was coming the ref drops the puck and all the players just stop immediately playing it wasn't like it happened behind play it was right off the face off first probably of the game and matthew olivia said no we're not going to do that and that to me sets the sabers back even a little bit more that guy's such a throwback because he's a monster what enforcers um like retired guys talk about is they'd spend all day thinking about the fight they were going to get into that night yep and you just you're just shaking from adrenaline from breakfast till end of the game and i feel like that probably doesn't happen nearly as much these days guys don't fight nearly as often that guy might be a reptile like that is ice blood right
Starting point is 01:19:31 there 10 goals 55 games he probably thought about it all day in the same way that i have dinner reservations tonight and i've been thinking about it since i woke up like i'm excited yeah like that dude is so freaking scary it it gives me huge um uh admiration for dennis gilbert and and this is this is sort of what i said last episode like if you're a saber and you don't admire what he did uh i think you need a blood transfusion yeah i think you gotta get some blood in your veins man that is uh that guy's lucky he walked out of that arena he's lucky he played the rest of the game that's matthew olivier who is the biggest problem in the nhl yep easily easily that dude is the sheriff yep yep and and i think uh it it's it's just a silly it's just a
Starting point is 01:20:25 silly chapter in a very silly recent history for the sabers it's a shame yeah uh we'll see what happens with them going forward though maybe they go on a tear and they make the playoffs guys you Never know. Dillon Cousins, MVP. They would have to overcome literally every other team in the East. They're the last place team now? They're the last place team in the East. Wow.

You know who would have been a perfect GM for them? Don Waddell. He would have been perfect for them. Okay, so I'm one of the most accomplished GMs of my generation.
Starting point is 01:21:03 you're the Buffalo Sabres so go ahead okay hey Don we'd love you to come be our GM are you out of your fucking mind well where did Don sign Steve uh fucking uh oh shit that's a good point one of the worst Columbus one of the worst run teams in the league Don goes damn where he can make a difference look what look what happened in Carolina I know there were some good years under Rutherford and Carolina and stuff like that but Don didn't walk into the greatest situation there well Adam no you're totally missing the point here you know what Don Waddell doesn't have a house on the same street as the owner yeah that's a problem kevin adams is like the pagula's neighbor or something that's how he got hired that organization that was a real thing that was

Starting point is 01:23:54 Carolina, but there have been conversations about carolina in the past in terms of when high-end players go there they don't necessarily love the system because it does affect the stats right because you're being coached by perennial selkie man um yeah it's very interesting that listen i think miko ranton is a killer he doesn't have nate anymore who on carolina's nate who's close who's their best player aho get the fuck out of here well it's not this he's great though he's yeah he's great but he's not nate and there's an a mount everest level hill to climb between aho and nate so here's then then this is where i
Starting point is 01:24:44 actually wanted to take this yeah aho's unbelievable but he's not close is miko ranted in if this doesn't go well oh heavens is miko ranton in spending money in free agency if this doesn't go well that was the first thing i thought is he a 14 million dollar player or a 13 and a half million dollar player if this half season doesn't go well in carolina whether he signs there or somewhere else his price stays the same with teams that need him badly um but with a contender yeah no it's it probably drops if this is how it continues for the rest of the season and it's important now when when they hit july 1st right um is is it carolina's ability to sign him to an eight-year contract goes away right because he's unrestricted yeah so he's gonna if this doesn't
Starting point is 01:25:31 go well yeah you'd have to sign on the day before july 1st got it so eight years if this doesn't go well he's gonna have a choice to make carolina's the team that needs them the most because they spend assets to get them they are always going to be the team that needs them the most martin They're going to be able to offer him that eighth year. Difficult, right? So he's going to have a really important decision to make. Do you go and you sign a two-year deal somewhere and then try to get your, or a one-year deal
Starting point is 01:26:01 and try to get your eight-year deal out of another team? Or do you just sign eight years, stay in Carolina, and it is what it is? Here's the difference. Adam, do you want 13 mil or 12.5 per year? 13 i i would like okay here's here's the caveat um you can only sign 13 times 7 or you can sign 12.5 times 8 then i'm taking 12.5 times 8 it's a difference of 9 million dollars 12.5 times 8 is 100 and it's 91 but 13 times 7 if the reports are to be believed a deal very similar to the one that
Starting point is 01:26:41 you just gave me was on the cards for colorado maybe not 12 5 because that's nate's number but what if it's 12 3 what if it's 12 2 what if it's 12 no 12 6 is nate's number oh 12 6 is there so you probably could have got 12 5 from the apps so this is gonna be and it's miko it's moose he's great so i am going to watch though and go what deal does he end up with because if 12 3 to 12 5 is he probably could have got that in in colorado no problem jesse would a money manager tell you that if you get that extra 500k up front over the course of the seven years you can flip that into a nine million dollars good lord who knows man i don't know if you'd make nine million or nine million for 500 grand over 10 years i don't know i actually don't know i don't know it's possible
Starting point is 01:27:28 you know that there'll be somebody who says you can just so they can get the gun yeah yeah so you give them your money whether or not you can i don't know but isn't that interesting isn't like if if this and again it's six games guys like it's six games yeah he could completely go off and win the consmith but it is kind of interesting isn't it oh it's definitely i think it's six games and that's probably the beginning of the end of the conversation yep i think it takes a little more than six games to understand what mika ranton is going to be as a carolina hurricane yeah and he i mean doesn't absorb all of this because like i looked at taylor hall and i'm like oh he's not having a terrible season and now he's on the hurricanes and not the shitty

Starting point is 01:32:24 before the tournament begins to hype it up like literally days before and then you can go dowdy shifley blah yeah well all-star teams aren't announced until like three-ish weeks out from the all-star game so they didn't really have to make this decision so early at all no three weeks ago three weeks ago would have still been i think more than a month mid-jam like yeah yeah more than a month after they made the announcement it makes no sense and you would have had like that would have been enough time to realize that logan thompson should be there yes yes we would have all known that both canada and the states have several players where they just look completely stupid for not naming them like no disrespect to william carlson uh but he can't play for sweden
Starting point is 01:33:11 And so they named Ricard Raquel to Team Sweden. Do you know what kind of a cracked season that guy is having? He should have been on Team Sweden the whole time. He's having a better season. But they didn't know. What do you mean you didn't know? They had to make the decision in early December. And Yoki Haru, Henry Yoki Haru, replaced Yanni Håkonpah.

Starting point is 01:37:59 and their owners tom and jack have owned the team for about 30 years they've 30 years of involvement with the five flyers and we have taken the difficult decision to step down from the operation of this wonderful club and uh they're asking if the discord is asking if we can step in and purchase this team so here's what i would say i what's the price so so rexum was two and a half million dollars that's from artificial underscore mank on our discord by the way um you know who could use some positive press right now friggin that guy uh i have more to say on that but we won't get into it uh baldoni's doing the exact same thing to blake lively this time that he did him did to her this summer but we'll we'll leave no context i have no idea what you guys yeah no
