Hello, gentle listener, the Nocturnal Transmissions Podcast, your friendly provider of delightfully dark short horror fiction, has a new episode available.
And it goes a little bit like this.
Stella would be in bed by the time he arrived, but he would lean over and kiss her sleeping cheek.
Then he would undress and climb into bed beside her.
In the morning when she woke, Stella would have no idea that it was a stranger who lay beside her in bed,
that it was in fact some thing from off the moors.
The Nocturnal Transmissions Podcast.
Come get some.
Welcome to the Table Library and to a milestone episode of scary stories to fall asleep to.
As this was the 10th edition in the series, I thought I should do something a little special.
Normally these episodes are a mix of newer stories and highlights from my second show, Night Drive Paranormal.
But this one is all never-before-heard experiences.
from people who have got in touch with me directly.
Most are what we would consider paranormal.
Some are something a little different.
But they are all experiences I'm sure you'll find interesting.
So I'd love it if you could join me
for a long evening together of stories.
Wherever possible, these cases are read directly
as they were written by the original experiencer.
I do this to not put my own perspective and what they claim to experience.
Whatever you choose to believe, the people who submitted these stories all claim at least
that they believe something happened to them.
Even if they can't be sure what that is.
If you are new to these episodes, I will just explain one aspect of it.
After this intro you will see a sponsor segment and then you may get a quick ad break.
After that, the rest of the episode will be ad-free.
So that if you are using NIST to sleep, you won't be disturbed.
Chapter times are also available so you can skip a story or go back to restart one.
If you want me to keep bringing you all these mostly ad-free specials every few months,
do me a favour.
Comment below where you are currently listening to this episode from.
With that out of the way, get yourself comfortable in bed and open your mind to a world of the unexplained, because it's time for scary stories to fall asleep to.
Volume 10.
I was 8 years old when this happened.
I'm 33 now and until this day I still can't really understand the situation.
I live with my parents, my younger sister and our dog, a black miniature schnauzer named Lucky.
He was one year old at the time this story happened.
The incident happened in the middle of the night.
I was sleeping when suddenly my dog, who always slept with my father and never left his side,
came running into my room.
He was whimpering, jumped onto my bed and started going around in circles and my chest, squeaking.
At first I thought something was wrong with him, but I quickly realised that he was just scared.
He kept looking towards the door of my room.
I was more concerned with Lucky State than anything else in that moment, so I tried to comfort him,
but he just couldn't relax.
Suddenly he started barking loudly at the door.
He was showing his teeth and growling aggressively, before rapidly going back to panicking and squeezing himself into me.
He did this several times.
times, changing his behaviour almost like someone was flicking a switch.
At this point I was scared and didn't know what to do.
I could see that he was looking at one specific spot right by the door.
So I started thinking that maybe somebody was standing there, even though I couldn't see anything.
After a minute or two of this strange behaviour, Lucky jumped down onto the floor.
grabbed one of my flipflops and started carefully moving towards the door
checking every few steps to make sure I was following him
I quickly understood that he wanted me to go with him
as scared as I was at this point I got out of bed and followed him
we went through the hall and into the living room
every step of the way lucky checked to make sure I was still with him
when we entered the living room
I'm lucky when quiet
I remember feeling his backside pressed against my leg
as though he wanted to make sure I stayed right beside him
it wasn't completely dark
we had a streetlight outside that shone through the window
I looked around and saw my sister sleeping with my mum on the sofa
or my dad was lying on the floor
sometimes he slept there because the bed wasn't big enough
so when my younger sister wanted to sleep with mum
he would grab a pillow and blanket and sleep on the floor instead
I noticed that my dad was acting deliriously in his sleep
moving around as though he were having a nightmare
I wanted to go wake him up
I took a few steps towards him
and lucky suddenly started barking and growling loudly
as if he were ready to fight something behind me
I turned around
There was a tall, dark figure
standing right next to the doorway
I had just walked through
It was standing completely motionless
Looking directly at my dad
I froze
I was paralysed with fear
Lucky kept barking like crazy
So I thought that surely someone would wake up
But when I turned around, everyone was still sleeping, as if nothing was happening.
I snapped out of it and jumped towards my dad to wake him up.
I shook his arm and tried to shout, but I was too scared to make a sound.
After a few shakes my dad woke up. He looked confused and visibly scared.
I turned around and the figure was gone.
But Lucky was still standing there, growling and,
at the exact spot where the figure had been.
My dad said something like,
what's going on?
As soon as Lucky heard him,
he went over to my dad and immediately laid down beside him,
while still staring towards a spot
where the tall, dark figure had been standing.
My dad said something like,
thanks for waking me up.
I must have been having a nightmare.
Go back to sleep.
He then walked me back to my room.
I was in such shock, and I hadn't even really understood what had just happened, so I didn't
even mention the black figure or lucky strange behaviour to him.
Somehow I managed to fall asleep after struggling for a while.
In the morning I remembered what had happened to me.
With all the shock gone, I wanted to tell my parents about the previous night.
They gave me the obvious explanation that I must have had a nightmare.
woken up scared and imagined part of what happened.
Part of me was willing to accept that explanation,
except for one thing.
The experience had felt incredibly real because of my dog's strange behaviour.
Then I found my missing flip-flop in the middle of the living room,
exactly where Lucky had been standing when he started barking at the dark figure.
I also noticed that Lucky kept going back to that same spot.
where the figure had been standing for several days afterwards.
That's it.
Nothing like that ever happened again.
Today it's just a strange story that I still remember,
but I'm 100% sure that my 8-year-old mind didn't simply make it all up.
Out of nowhere.
We called her the white lady.
This takes place during my high school years.
I'm currently 24, so this was probably 8, 10 years ago.
I still remember it quite vividly and it was in no way a dream,
which I tried to convince myself of for a while.
It's not that I don't believe in the supernatural or anything like that,
but I don't know.
It wasn't a good experience.
Nor was it a negative one, but I just can't help but feel
the chill when I think about it.
Not the normal chill you get goosebumps from.
It's more like an empty soulless cold
that creeps into your bones,
that not even the hottest bath can fully shake from you.
For geographical reasons I live in South Florida
always have my entire life.
I lived with my grandmother in high school
due to reasons I won't get into.
Her house is kind of old, built in the 1960s, and has remained in its original state for the entire time.
Mine of stuff like repainting or re-flooring, that kind of stuff.
She has lived there since the 80s, I think.
While I was living there, I slept on the couch in the living room.
Leather, hot weather, not comfy, but better than being homeless.
I've always had insomnia
and I've always had issues sleeping
One night I was having a particularly difficult time falling asleep
The only noises in the night were of me tossing, turning and sweating
That noise that only leather couches can make
As well as my grandmother's incessant snoring
She slept with her bedroom door open
I got up and walked my way to the kitchen
Which was quite literally just the other side
of the living room, separated by a chest-high brick bar top, and was open otherwise.
No door.
I opened the fridge to grab a bottle of water and started chugging it, hoping it would cool me off a bit.
While in the kitchen, I walked in front of the kitchen sink and looked out of the window above it,
which looked into the backyard.
There was nothing spectacular outside the window, just a cat who was.
crossing by means of the top of the fence. Nothing spectacular until I focused on my reflection.
After seeing the door behind me open just the tiniest bit, very subtly. That door led to the laundry
room and secondary restroom. It also led to the door that opened up into the garage which
was used to storage. The door usually stayed slightly ajar, but
because we hung aprons from the corner of it,
but we didn't have a draught or anything,
so it was not the type of door to just shift open or close.
I ignored it,
chalked it up to my insomnia act allureum,
which I was no stranger to.
I went back over to the couch to lay down
with whatever remained of my cold water bottle under my neck,
and my eyes closed,
trying desperately to sleep at all.
I heard that door,
creak open, loud, intentionally slow.
I cracked my eyes very, very, very slightly, and I saw her.
I did my best to keep my breath steady, trying to pretend I was sleeping.
She walked or floated.
There was a mix of both, across the kitchen and stood in front of the sink.
seemingly looking out of the window
She was standing where I had been just moments ago
Then she turned towards me
She began walking or floating from the kitchen and through the living room
Directly towards my couch
Which was snuggled right next to the only hallway in the house which led to the primary restroom
A coat closet and two bedrooms
One of which was my grandmothers
She passed the end of the couch that my feet were at and out of my view
No way in hell was I shifting to continue to see her
But she stopped
Again out of my field of vision but I felt it
She was looking at me
I knew she was
And that's when I felt the cold
It had nothing to do with the now warming water bottle
under my neck. It was as if my soul was being laid bare and judged. She could see me. She knew I was
awake. It felt like an eternity. Eventually I could feel the gaze shift away from me. She went into
the hallway and to the second bedroom, which was my aunt's. She was not home at the time.
I knew that's where she went because my aunt's lovebirds, more like hatebirds, went absolutely ballistic.
I didn't sleep that night.
The cold never faded until the first beams of morning light started peeking through the curtains.
I had never been more awake, exhausted in the insomnia sense, but just awake, too aware to be tired.
My grandmother went to work, unaware of what occurred only a few hours previous.
Later in the day I was doing the dishes at the kitchen sink.
I had a white gold ring with my birthstone in it, Peridot.
I always took this off and put it on the counter to the right of me when I did the dishes.
I didn't hear it at first, but then I did.
The door creaked open slowly.
I was home alone.
I did my best to pretend as if I did not notice the creaking
and continued doing the dishes.
After all, I was way more afraid of the yelling for my grandmother
over dirty dishes in the sink
than I was afraid of what I was still trying to rationalise
as an insomniac hallucination.
The cold began to settle in.
It crept up my back and shoulders
the way it would as if someone was caressing you from behind,
then I saw it out of the corner of my eye
while I was still doing the dishes,
pretending to be blissfully unaware.
It was a hand, ghostly, pale, solid,
not seafrew.
It was a full-blown human hand and then arm,
covered by white lace sleeves,
the kind of laced sleeve you would find on the fancy dress
donned by a rich woman in Victorian portraits
or maybe a wedding dress
contrary to the slow deliberate motion of her arm
creeping towards the counter
she snatched
and I mean snatched
my ring off the counter
and I heard it hit the tile floor
at this point I was frozen
I listened to the clings
cling, and then the half-cling of my ring settling on the tile.
The cold suddenly vanished, replaced by the burning in my hands and arms which were now
raw and red, and burned by the hot water of the sink.
I don't know how long I stood there, before I slowly and deliberately turned the water off,
dried my hands and looked at the floor to my right where my ring had fallen.
I picked it up and inspected it.
The peridot was cracked.
My grandmother came home from work that evening
and I told her everything.
Her face stayed the same throughout my entire tail.
Neutral, blank, a champion-level poker face.
After I finished, out of breath and shaken,
she sighed.
She told me it was the white lady.
She had always lived in the house and first made herself known when my aunt was born.
She told me of a recurring story of seeing the white lady, bent over my aunt's cradle, watching her.
She apparently has been silent since my aunt became a teenager, and this was the first time she had been seen in almost 10 years.
She also then told me that we were directly related to the York women.
Very distant, obviously, but our female lion came from them.
There were whispers in history of them being witches.
Whether you believe that or not is up to you.
As I say, they're whispers.
There have only been three women of mature age in my direct family, ever alive at one point.
Just a few titbits, she told me.
I didn't know if it was related at the time.
As I grew older, I began turning towards paganism.
The triple goddess immediately drew my attention during my research.
About three months after the white lady appeared, my great-grandmother died.
My grandmother became matron of our family.
It was just my grandmother, my aunt, and I, as the women in the family now.
Recently, within the past few years, I did a DNA ancestry kit
and started doing historical research into my family.
I found that the paternal side of my family came to the states on one of those Mayflower-esque boats,
not the Mayflower specifically, but around that time frame.
I also found that Reverend George Burroughs is my direct ancestor.
He was one of the only ministers executed for witchcraft during the Salem witch trials.
Just some food for thought.
I have other stories, but we'll see.
Hope you enjoyed.
you enjoyed. As I mentioned in the body of my email, this story is 100% true. I was inspired
to submit this story as I was listening to your podcast and heard a story of a green glowing orb.
I've seen a similar orb and it was accompanied by similarly odd events. First let me set the scene.
At the time of this incident I was 38 or 39 years old, so roughly
roughly 2021 or 22. Me and my two best friends finally found an open weekend to go dove hunting
together. So this was September or maybe October. At the time I had a 1500-acre
hunting lease about 25 miles west of George West Texas along Texas Highway 59. The lease
was just about halfway from George West to Frera, two very small towns.
in what would be considered South Texas.
It's a very remote area, and Highway 59 is an especially desolate stretch of road, with only
the occasional home or ranch, widely scattered along the 50 or so miles between the small towns.
Needless to say, the 1,500 acres we were leasing was far from anything resembling civilization.
In fact, the only sign of life you would see out there, or the only sign of life you would see out there, or
the wildlife and sometimes you'd find some trash or a campsite from the groups of
immigrants making their way from the border through the harsh landscapes of South Texas. So
we could do whatever we wanted out there and nobody would bother us. We were there
to hunt but also to sit around the campfire and drink some beers and have a guy's
weekend doing guy stuff. Because we were permitted by our wives to have this guy
weekend. We also had my buddy's teenage son with us. So it was me, my friend Jay, his son
R, and my other friend A. Jay and A are my age, and both for United States Armed Forces
Veterans. Both have served overseas. They are trustworthy guys with no reason to engage in any sort
of make believe, nor are any of us the type of people who would make up a
story for attention or for any other reason.
Just to note,
I slept for the entire events,
so he's a non-factor in this whole story.
Just had to mention he was present for reasons that are slightly important later.
We all jumped in my truck,
at 2019 F-250,
so relatively new at the time,
and drove to the lease,
which was about a four and a half-hour trip
after work on the Friday.
We arrived late, maybe 9.30pm.
It was what I would call dusk,
and we were immediately set to work
getting the bunkhouse and lease truck ready
for the next morning's hunt
before relaxing with a cold beer.
The bunkhouse was a tin shack,
maybe 12 foot by 12 foot,
and contained just a single room
with a bunk bed and couch.
It had one door and one door,
window. Pretty simple. The lease truck was an old 80 Chevy blazer with the top cut off. The battery
was dead in the blazer. So after we cleaned the bunkhouse and set out our sleeping bags,
we popped the hood and started work on swapping the battery with a fresh one we brought with
us. At some point I was working on installing the new battery. Jay and A were standing behind me.
I looked over my shoulder to ask for at all
and saw what I can only describe
as a green fireball
falling out of the sky
I was in complete shock at the sight
and not saying anything
J and A must have seen the look on my face
because they turned and saw it as well
now when I say green
I mean a very bright intense green
I'll never be able to describe it with words but I'll do my best.
It was a very vibrant neon green, almost white towards the centre, and amazing emerald green on the outer edges.
That image will stick with me for the rest of my life.
The ball was huge and moving fast.
I said fireball because that's exactly what it was.
The ball was so large and so close you could literally see the green flames licking around the center of the ball, or sphere or orb, whatever, and creating a tail of clearly visible green fire.
It wasn't a cloudy haze like you see with shooting stars or comets.
We see both regularly out in the clear skies in South Texas, and this was neither a comet, shooting star or meteor.
It was exactly what I said it was.
an amazingly green ball of fire, no way around it.
We stood there in stunned silence for a while, until I finally said, that was close.
And Jay responded with, that wasn't just close.
I bet that landed on this lease.
Meaning by his judgment whatever we just saw fall out of the sky was so close that it landed
somewhere on the 1500 acre piece of land we were on. Now, 1500 acres is a big piece of property,
but it feels really small when you see something like that, and it's proposed that whatever it was
is now on the same piece of ground. We were shaken for sure. We managed to get through our tasks
and set up a fire and some lawn chairs just outside the bunkhouse. The fireball was discussed
at length over the next few hours, but as time passed it became more of a novelty than a concern.
Eventually R. got tired of listening to us old guys BS about this and that, and he decided to go to bed.
We set up a cop for him in the middle of the bunkhouse, and he immediately fell asleep.
A few hours passed, a few beers were drunk, and a few stories were told.
when all of a sudden the alarm on my truck started blaring.
Obviously it scared the crap out of us and we all jumped up in a fright.
When we realised it was the truck alarm we started digging around for my keys
thinking I leaned on the panic button.
But we couldn't find them.
Then I remembered I put them on the hook inside the bunkhouse, just inside the door.
I ran in there thinking R was messing with us
But when I flung the door open
He was sound asleep on his cot across the room
J and A's first reaction after her initial fright
Was that I was messing with them
When they realised they didn't have my keys
They then shared their thought that R was messing with us and ran towards the bunkhouse
By the time they came through the door I had the alarm turned off
keys in hand.
They looked at the keys, looked at our fast asleep in the cot, and a chill ran down all of our
spines.
At this point we were very much on edge, but it wasn't the first time a car alarm went off
without calls, and we decided to continue our night.
We cautiously returned our lawn chairs and continued on with our guy stuff.
To prove to J&A that I wasn't somehow orchestrating a prank,
I set the keys to my truck on a table in plain view of all of us, and disabled the alarm of my truck.
Fast forward about an hour or an hour and a half, and the alarm goes off again.
This time our eyes immediately look towards the keys on the table.
Still there, out of reach of anyone.
Now whatever was happening had our full attention, and any efforts by the three of us to pretend that we weren't scared.
was gone. We grabbed the keys, turned the alarm off and ran to the bunkhouse. Jay was the
first one to the porch and his first instinct was to turn on the porch light. The porch light was
just a single screwing fixture with an exposed bulb. When you wanted to turn the light on,
you spun the bulb right, turn the light off, spin the bulb left, common in barns and outbuildings.
When Jay spun the bulb to turn it on, it literally exploded in his hand.
A and I were a few steps behind, so we saw the explosion in all its glory.
Orange, yellow and white glowing debris, showered Jay, and with the explosion of the bulb,
eliminated our only exterior light source, other than a dwindling fire.
We darted in the bunkhouse, grabbed our guns and the sky.
our next steps. We decided first we'd forget about the exploding light bulb, and then we'd
sweep the area and look for anything that could be bumping into the truck setting the alarm off.
We thought maybe it was just deer or pigs or something rooting around the truck bumping into it.
Looking back, that wouldn't have made any sense. But we weren't worried about logic at that point.
We were scared. So that's what we did.
We looked all around, guns up and ready.
There was nothing, though.
No animals, no footprints.
Nothing.
We experimented with arming the alarm with my key fob and bumping into the truck ourselves.
No alarm.
We jumped up and down on the bumper.
No alarm.
We did everything we could to set off the alarm on that truck and we couldn't do it.
Our next idea was that maybe there was a bumper.
bug inside the cab of the truck and it was somehow setting off the sensor for the alarm so
he tested that theory by putting A inside the truck locking the doors with the key fob
arming the alarm and then he jumped up and down like a wild man rocking back and forth
jumping up and down no alarm the only way we could get the alarm to actually go off was by
locking the doors arming it and then pulling on the handle
Even then the alarm would only go off when the handle was fully deployed, which took significant force, not to mention an opposable thumb.
It couldn't have been an animal, and there wasn't another human for at least 15 miles in any direction.
So we got no answers from our frantic search or our experiments, and we decided it was getting way too weird.
We'd just go to bed.
So we put out the fire, went to the bunkhouse, made double shire, made double shorth.
shore to lock the door, climbed in our sleeping bags with guns loaded at our side.
We lay there, not sleeping or talking. Periodically we started hearing what I will describe as a
knocking sound. It wasn't frequent. The sound maybe happened 10 or 12 times over an hour,
but it was very clear and distinct. Now, normally,
in a run-down shack out in the middle of nowhere. Sounds just happen. Your rational brain tells
you it's an old shack. The wind is blowing. There's trees outside and there are critters
everywhere. So you just go to sleep and ignore it. But we weren't ignoring anything on this night.
We all laid quietly waiting for the next knock and were too scared to do or say anything
about it. Eventually I gathered enough courage, got out of my sleeping bag and dug out my flashlight.
With J&A quietly watching and are dead asleep, I slowly crept around the cabin, shining my light in any
direction that I thought the knock was coming from. Honestly, I was strung so tight by that point.
I'm not sure how long I crept around the room, but at some point I decided that made
that maybe the sound was coming from outside the bunkhouse,
and I went towards the window with my light pointed to the ground.
I picked out the window, very cautiously, but it was pitch black.
I slowly moved my flashlight up to the glass
in hopes my beam would shine through the dirty glass,
at least good enough to confirm there was a branch or something knocking against the building.
But the millisecond, the light beam here,
the light beam hit the glass.
There was a huge crash.
It sounded like someone took a sledgehammer
and swung it as hard as they could against the wall.
I jumped so far back I ended up in the top bunk,
basically in A's lap.
Jay sprung out of his sleeping bag
and was scrambling for his shotgun.
A pushed me off him and grabbed his gun
and I followed suit.
Ah was somehow still sound.
asleep. The three of us, guns up, busted through the door and ran around the bunkhouse,
ready to unleash hell and whatever was out there tormenting us. But there was nothing. We checked
the perimeter of the shack for any branches that could be knocking against the walls or roof,
and there were none. The closest tree was 20 to 30 feet away. We checked for anything that could
could be blowing in the wind and causing knocking sound.
And there was nothing.
Unfortunately for me, my friends, you and your listeners,
that's it.
We didn't sleep at all that night,
woke up the next morning and searched the entire site for hours,
and found nothing.
No sign of animals, people, aliens, bigfoot, ghosts or goblins.
Absolutely nothing.
We did do a little late morning hunting for our sake, but had lost interest relatively quickly.
We planned on staying another night but opted against it for obvious reasons, and we headed home that afternoon.
We discussed it in detail on the long ride home. Fearies abound.
We told our wives when we got home, only to receive unenthusiastic reactions.
I let the least lapse on my next renewal period, and never stayed in that cabin again.
I did do some deer hunting that same fall before my lease was up.
I went to the property to hunt alone a few times and a few times with friends, but that crazy
night was on my mind the whole time, every time.
I was very cognizant of the clock when I was there, especially when I was alone, and I was
careful not to let the sun get too close to the horizon before I made my way back to the
truck and bogied out of there.
There was no way I would have been caught there after dark again.
I haven't had another experience like that, there or anywhere else, and I have no explanation
or ideas of what it was we were dealing with that night.
All I know is there are three grown men that saw and experienced things that have no earthly
explanation.
Those are the facts of what happened.
I'd love to know if anyone else has ever experienced something similar, or if there were
any experiences that were unexplainable, that were preceded by something like the green
fireball that started our experience that night. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I know it's long, but I had to get it all down a paper. It's been a few years now we've only
ever discussed that night amongst ourselves and our families. I didn't want to leave anything out.
I'm sorry there wasn't a big crescendo or big reveal at the end. I suppose that true stories rarely
have satisfying endings like you see in horror movies.
When I was three years old, my family moved into our first house.
Previously, we lived in apartments and townhouses.
My parents chose my room because at that time they were transitioning me into a regular bed.
So my parents situated their rooms so they could see into my room at night
to make sure I wouldn't roll out of bed.
One night my mother got the sense to open her eyes and look into my room.
According to her, a black orb was hovering over me.
The moment she noticed it, it shot toward her and went behind their bed's headrest.
From that moment on, only my mother and I heard and saw things.
It was more active around me though.
Fast forward a couple of years and my grandmother and aunt were staying with us.
My parents gave my grandmother their room and my aunt took our guest room, which was next to my room.
next to my room. My parents were downstairs in the pullout. While my family was visiting,
one night I woke up to a tall, dark figure, with its arms stretched out, pointing what looked
like a firearm at me. I scrambled out of my bed and ran to the other side of my room, stomping
on the floor, screaming for help. But no one came. It was like I was in a pocket universe for a brief
moment. I don't remember falling back to sleep but I eventually did. Waking up the next morning I
cracked over my door and heard my family talking in the kitchen. My grandmother must have heard me
because she asked my parents if it was a regular occurrence. My parents told her I was prone to
sleepwalking as well as talking in my sleep. Throughout the years I spent in that house I would
hear TVs on, laughter in the hallways, footsteps running up and down the hall. It wouldn't be
until I was 18 years old that I would find out what happened in the house. In 2000, my mum finally felt
I was old enough to know the story of that house. We had since moved out by then, but she told me
that before we have moved in. And trigger warning for this next part, it contains mention of child abuse.
There was a family that was abusive to their children.
They would lock them in rooms and use the closet as a makeshift prison cell.
The room they would lock the children in was my old room.
The closet was my old closet.
I asked my mother if there were any deaths in the house.
She said there wasn't, but there was a lot of dark energy.
After hearing this, my mind went back to the night that I saw the shadow figure.
I don't think it was an entity
But I think it was whatever was left behind
Energy-wise
From that family that was trying to show me the history
It was because of this incident I had when I was young
That I got into paranormal research and investigations
This was literally half my lifetime ago
So I can't recall it in exact detail
But I will do my best
I was about 19 years old
maybe when this happened, was working two jobs in Evansville, Wisconsin, and lived in Magnolia's
houndship with my folks at the time. Job one was housekeeping at the nursing home, and
job two was in-home care for an autistic child in town. She was about 15, I think, at that time,
and for the sake of her privacy I'll call her Maggie in this story. Maggie was mostly mute,
and what some would consider to be more on the severe side of autistic, prone to fits of teenage frustration,
but also very small childlike in play and cognitive abilities.
But all that aside, we got along so well it was like having a younger sister to hang out with.
At the time I was coming from a rough background as well, an abusive mum and absent but around dad
had kept me very isolated growing up, and it was nice to have someone to be.
pal around with. Working with Maggie was a mostly physical job. We had a two-seater bike that we'd go
on quite long rides together on. We'd go play at the parks or really anything to get her out the house
and wear her out a little for her parents. We went to the middle school park one day
and noticed a tan and grey mismatched sedan parked in the parking lot behind the playground.
the kind where they've replaced things like doors with pieces of other cars.
A kind of sketchy-looking dude was in the driver's seat, watching us intently.
I kept looking over my shoulder at him as Maggie played on the swings, with me seated beside her,
and I didn't like the looks of him.
Eventually I asked Maggie if she wanted to go to the, at the time, newly built park out in the new subdivision.
Now, I didn't say that directly.
I asked her if she wanted to go make sandcastles, but she knew what that meant.
The park we were at says mulch as a substrate.
The new one has sand, which was perpetually damp for some reason.
Excellent for sandcastle building.
Her way of saying yes was to hop off the swing and start towards the bike.
We got on it and I took a winding way to the new park where we got busy making our little city of sand.
It wasn't long though until that guy came to this park.
This time rolling up close to watch again.
I made a point to watch him back, make sure he knew that I saw him, and eventually we left
and went back to Maggie's house.
I told her dad I saw a guy being sketchy towards Maggie and I didn't like it but he kind
of blew me off.
Now Maggie was pretty, very small bill, a cute teen girl, and I'm solidly convinced the only
thing it would take for her to hop in a stranger's car would be the offer of candy or
a cell phone play on.
So I was worried for her safety, and upset with her dad for not seeming concerned at all.
For a while we saw this guy daily, everywhere we went.
And I still pleaded with Maggie's dad, mum and older sister to watch out.
for this guy in his car. Something was up but no one seemed phased. A little later on we were
at Lake Leota, a little park in town with a crumbling man-made channel to guide a small creek
through the park. Maggie liked to sit on the banks and further erode the crumbled concrete
on the side by picking at it. I was sitting behind her holding my usual one-sided conversation
with her.
When I noticed the car pulled up on the road across the channel from us,
like maybe 500 feet away tops,
right there, out in front of everyone,
was that same old grey tan sedan.
But this time, a woman was standing behind it,
with a comically large camera,
leaned across the top of the car,
photographing us
I was bewildered for more than one reason
first that was definitely the car
second
who was this lady
and thirdly
how in the world did she think
she was being a tall covert
I watched her a second
pondering all this and tapped Maggie's shoulder
pointing at the lady and saying
look we're getting our picture taken say hi and waved maggie parroted behaviour quickly and waved as well
causing a weird reaction in the woman who looked horrified bolted upright rushed around the car got in the
driver's side and literally squirled her tyres to speed away i was so confused now here's where things get fuzzy
I don't remember if this is the same day or the next when this next bit happened, as it was in the same location,
but we had taken the double bike to the same park as the last incident, doing our usual sitting beside the creek stuff.
I turned around to get up as it was getting to be time to leave.
Now, about that bike, it was one of a kind in that small town, it was very expensive.
Her dad had put the fear of death in me to never lose or damage the bike
And I always parked it in the same place when at the lower park
Which was on one of the paint lines between the two parking spots in the little parking lot
No one never drove to that lot
So it wasn't like I was being a total jerk
There were also probably about eight parking spots in a straight line down there
When we turned to leave
There were two black-on-black SUVs
parked tightly on either side of the bike, almost squeezing it in between.
The windows were tinted to illegal limits, and all the other parking spots were empty and available.
No one had come out of the vehicles that I could see.
It was threatening rain that day, so the park was mostly empty.
I got a fucking feeling about this.
Something was unsettling.
Not wanting Maggie to go near those SUVs but needing to get the bike
I came up with a plan quickly
I pointed out the bike to Maggie
and explained it to be stuck using her level of understanding
and the fact that we were good friends to my advantage
oh no the bike is stuck
but I tell you what
here's what we'll do
if you take my hand really tight
I'll grab the bike and we can both pull hard okay?
Hang on tight and don't let go.
I told her, creeping up to the bike apprehensively
and grabbing the bike by the back tire.
It was a heavy bike so it actually balanced itself pretty well.
Maggie accepted the assignment and took my arm with both hands,
thinking this just to be a simple task of freeing a bike.
I hated being that close.
to the vehicles. I could feel whoever was inside watching us from the blacked-out windows.
It felt like it took forever to pull the bike free, but we got it, and I insisted that we took
it across the little pedestrian bridge and go back to her house that way, so it was harder
for them to follow. Again I told her family about this, and they still didn't seem to care.
I told my family about this as well, and they unsurprised
also didn't care. I felt like I was going nuts. Seeing such bizarre behaviour and worrying that
they were after my disabled friend, while everyone else just shrugged it off. It was awful.
Sightings of the Zadan and the SUVs were become very frequent, and I started carrying a large
knife of us on day trips. Her dad didn't like that at all, but still didn't believe me. At that
point I was also mid-level in martial arts and a rather imposing figure, so I was at least somewhat
comfortable with the idea of decking someone if needed. Sighting started to decrease suddenly,
and I was starting to question if I'd made a big deal out of nothing after all when I left Maggie's
house late one summer night just after dark. At the time I had a crappy white Oldsmobile and a few
bad habits with it. I wasn't a great driver. Country kids never are. And working so close to home,
I used to be bad at keeping gas in the tank, thinking, I'll just throw something in tomorrow. No big deal.
This was also back when gas stations turned off the pumps when it got dark out, so my options in town
were limited. I started on my way home, what's usually about a 10 or so minute drive in the country.
On the main road out of town
A black SUV was on my tail immediately
I try to tell myself it's a popular vehicle out here
Every farmer has a black SUV
It's probably nothing
After all I was solidly convinced they were after Maggie
Not me
The road out of town is very straight
Until the first intersection
Right before that first intersection
the other SUV was parked in the oncoming lane shoulder.
Once me and the other SUV passed it,
it turned on and pulled up behind us.
In my head I was thinking, what the fuck?
I put on my blinker for my normal turn
and I see two blinkers turn on behind me.
I flipped the blinker off and blow past the intersection.
They follow suit.
Now I know I'm being.
and followed. I was young and admittedly reckless. Growing up in an abusive household makes one that
way. It also makes it impossible to ask for help or no appropriate responses to things like this.
I'll admit what I did next was the wrong thing to do. I was young. Don't be like me. Don't encourage
this kind of behaviour. I was just coming to terms with the idea that the people I thought were after Maggie
but for some reason after me.
This didn't feel real.
I was in a car chase with a shitty 98 Oldsmobile, intrigue, a white one, that stood out at night.
I became reckless.
My first thought was that I can't lead them to my home if they didn't know where that was yet.
After that, my next thought was the cop that used to sit on country B to catch speeding teenagers rushing
the valley. I turned up my radio and put on an MCR CD because, well, car chase, might as well have
music, I guess, and gunned it toward B, hoping the cop was there, hoping to be pulled over,
hoping I could tell him what had been happening, hoping he believed me. But there was no cop on B,
not tonight, not right now anyways. No one was on B.
I thought about going to my friend's house, but didn't know what hell was following me.
They stayed on my bumper at every speed, over every hill and around every turn.
Eventually I came to the realisation that I couldn't run forever.
My dumb ass hadn't put enough gas in for a while, and I was running very low.
Eventually I'd run out and be stuck.
Then what?
I really pushed it and sped towards Bump's Bluff.
There's a winding road there with some weird field access driveways scattered around.
I got around a corner and slammed it in reverse and plunged backwards into a cornfield.
I turned off the car and hoped my glaringly white vehicle didn't show in the dark.
I hung out there until I was pretty sure I'd lost them.
I never did see them drive by.
I barely got home and told my family what had happened
Again no one believes me
And I got a lecture on running the car out of gas
I got to work the next day and told Maggie's family about it
Same thing
No one believed me
The weird thing is
I never ever saw any of those people or cars
Ever again after that
It just stopped
Like a month of
and a half of stalking ending in a car chase.
And they just stopped.
I don't get it.
I don't know what they wanted from us or from me.
And I don't know if this is related.
But somewhere around the same time a little after this,
while I was at a gym late,
it was just me and some other dude there.
Older, a little sketchy,
but younger than the guy in the sedan.
I was getting ready to go and had to use the bathroom.
I put my backpack on the bench by the door and my bottle of water inside the strap on my bag.
I used the facilities and came back to find two identical water bottles inside the strap on my backpack.
Same brand, same amount missing, same wear on the label, identical.
I stared at it for a moment trying to call it.
for a moment trying to comprehend what was going on, when the other guy at the gym sided up to me
and asked what I was doing. This startled me as he was standing too close and seemed eager for
something. I took on an innocently confused look and said, well I have one water bottle,
and now I have two, and I don't know where the other one came from, to which he responded
far too eagerly.
Oh,
looks like you've got two now.
Better drink than both.
Yeah, that was it for me.
I said,
no, I don't think that's a good idea.
I might catch someone's cold
and took both bottles to dump out of the faucet
and tossed the empties in recycling.
If looks could kill, I'd be dead.
The look he gave me
was ugly. I quit the gym after that. Even if you decide not to read this on your show,
I'm just looking for answers. I'm so confused about what happened to me and what that was.
I still get scared when I see black SUVs and I still get anxious if I think someone's following me for too long.
Any ideas are welcome. Thank you for reading through my story. I feel a certain
kind of community when I listen to this show, because sometimes the topic comes up in your
videos that is not only reminiscent of, but is like what I experienced as a child.
I'm sorry from English. I'm Danish, so it's not my first language. Let me start with my invisible
friend. I still have faint memories of her and the things we did together, but I've also been
told things by my parents and grandparents, even though she's
was only ever in my parents' house and never came with me to my grandparents. I once asked my
mum if she could come, and she said that she couldn't. Her name was Petra, which is strange since
I didn't have anyone in my kindergarten or later in my family with that name. So if I simply
imagined where it came from, who knows? If it had been a weird name like Bing Bong from
inside out, my memories of her wouldn't seem as real as they do. She was blonde with long,
straight hair. Her eyes were brown and she always smiled at me. She appeared around the same time
as my little brother was born, so I was about two years old. I was jealous of my new little
brother because he was now getting all my parents' attention. And then this friend came along,
A friend that only I could see and apparently here.
I have memories of us playing with little toy cars together
and playing hide and seek in my parents' garden
and how she told me stories about lions.
How a little child of about two or three years old from Denmark
suddenly became afraid of lions out in the big forest,
which was only five trees and some flowery bushes
because of Petra's stories about the lion, the king of the forest.
My parents had to set the table for an extra person
because Petra had to eat with them.
Not that she would get angry otherwise.
I never once experienced her getting angry,
as others say about their invisible friends.
As I got older, Petra came to visit less and less.
I remember how after we had played together,
she told me that she had to leave
she had other children
this is something that my parents have told me
I said when I stopped talking to
and about Petra
well I stopped thinking about Petra as I grew up
and she was only mentioned when the topic of invisible friends came up
which obviously wasn't very often
it was more like an offhand remark from my parents
Oh, our son had an invisible friend when he was little, and nothing more.
Now I come to the other things in my childhood house, or houses, I should say.
Even though I have no real memory of the first place, only what my mother has told me.
Since I have no real memory of this, I will just tell it here.
When my mother was pregnant with me, she and my father live next to an estate on Funen in Denmark.
They lived in an old bailiff's house.
The Count often came by.
In Denmark, they are like ordinary people who shop in the same stores and send their children to school like everyone else.
And the Count entertained them with ghost stories over coffee.
All manors and castles must have ghost stories.
And this estate does too.
They have the lady with the clay eyes.
Apparently she was a maid who stole silverware.
and as punishment she had her eyes gouged out.
After that she had some maid of clay.
As the story goes, she still walks around the estate's garden,
and if you see her, you must politely wish her a good day or evening.
Don't stop.
Just walk past her.
The count teased my mother that the lady would come and look in at her through the windows,
something that she didn't think was particularly funny.
But what really made my mother believe this story was what happened after I was born.
I wouldn't sleep unless the curtain was drawn.
And when I was old enough to start talking, I gave the reason.
The lady with the strange eyes is staring at me.
My mother had tried to rationalise it by saying that I must have been listening to stories
while I was still inside her womb.
But back to the house I was actually raised.
My parents still live in a two-story house that is a little over 100 years old.
It is right next to an old farm that was used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
As a resting farm, the horses travelling from South Funen, where I lived to Odense.
People would then go over to the inn and stay the night.
Such an old place with old memories.
A lot of strange things happened, as everyone mentions in similar stories.
There were footsteps upstairs when there shouldn't have been any.
Something that became really scary later when my brother and I got rooms up there.
They walked from one side of the hallway where the stairs were to the other where there was a small toilet.
And there were doors that opened on their own.
The explanation was always it's just an old house giving way.
It creaks when the wind blows.
The door opens when you step on this floorboard.
And yes, it was an old house.
But it shouldn't creak when there was no wind.
And the door shouldn't open when there was no one to step on the floorboards.
Once I woke up in the night and wanted something to drink.
But when I looked at the door, which was a jar, I saw a hand.
a hand gripping the door.
And I just knew that it wasn't mine or one of my parents.
It was black.
And I did what any child would do.
I hid under the covers until I first sleep.
Another time, also at night, I saw a white figure
floating in mid-air in the room directly opposite mine.
Again, after my mother had not closed the door,
I did the same thing again.
I hid under the covers.
As I got older, we're talking about five or six years old,
I began to see shadows out of the corner of my eye,
especially in mirrors at night.
That's why I always ducked under mirrors at night when I needed some water,
because I often saw someone or something passing by.
Never like in horror movies where there's a person standing behind the protagonist,
but the feeling that if I actually looked up and met my reflection in the mirror,
there would be someone behind me was very strong.
Then I got to the age when my parents started leaving me home alone, which was great,
especially when you've just gotten the latest PlayStation 2 game.
And it often happened that I heard my name being called.
My mother always did that when she had done the grocery shopping after work,
so I could help carry the groceries inside.
What was strange, however,
were the times where I heard my name being called,
paused the movie I was watching or the game I was playing,
and ran downstairs,
only to discover that I was actually home alone.
I was so scared the first few times
that, in my childhood naivity,
I searched a whole house with a homemade sword
that I had made out of wood with my father.
It was only wood, but I could hit hard with it.
But the house was always empty,
and over time it just became another of those strange things that I lived with.
When I moved away from home at 18,
I tried to visit my grandmother and my parents at least once a month,
which is not much, but I was studying and public transport did not travel down to my family on the weekends.
But one day, when I was sitting at my grandmother's house,
having coffee. She told me about an evening at her senior citizens club where a
local historian gave a presentation about the local history. He'd even looked into the
older houses in the area and had printouts that people could take away with them
afterwards. When I read about my parents' house, all the strange things came back to me.
The house was built by a man who with his wife had two sons, one with the same name as me.
Had it been her calling out to her son that I heard?
It happened too often to be just something I imagined.
Later in their old age, they rented the upstairs to a middle-aged widow.
Her kitchen had been in the room opposite my childhood bedroom.
Was it her I saw floating like a white figure?
And after that old couple came a new couple.
They were the ones who later sold the house to my parents.
were the shadows I saw, the families who had lived in the house before us.
I believe it was.
But who was the black hand?
That's something that still puzzles me sometimes.
Now back to a more recent, strange incident.
A few years ago I got pneumonia and had a very high fever.
My mother brought me home because she didn't want me to be alone in my apartment while I was so sick.
I ended up sleeping in my childhood room again.
It may have been a dream, but it seemed so real.
I was lying in bed,
and in front of me sitting on the floor with her legs crossed,
was a young girl with straight blonde hair.
I was neither surprised nor scared, but happy to see her.
She told me that she had come check in on me
to see if I was okay,
and we talked about my life and how I was feeling.
We talked until she put her hand on my forehead
and told me to rest a bit.
And I haven't seen her since.
But I'm sure it was Petra who came by
and that somehow, because I was so sick,
I was able to get in contact with her,
or she with me.
I just had to share this because your stories make me feel
that I'm not alone with these happenings.
There is some kind of darkness that you can just feel.
And demonic darkness is one of those.
My family and I went to a beach house for a family gathering.
The family consisted of my dad's side of the family.
As nicely as possible, my dad's family can tend to be over-dramatic about things.
So when they told us that something was off and they just couldn't sleep soundly at night,
I knew to take it with a grain of salt
We showed up and had some fun
Spent the day at the beach
Watched movies and went out for dinner
Eventually everyone was winding down and started going to bed
I kind of forgotten about what my aunt and uncle had said earlier
But I remembered it then
Something wasn't right
I felt like I was being
Watched
The hall lights were on lighting my room and I couldn't see anything in the room.
I slept on the floor in the room my parents were going to sleep in.
I just laid there and prayed that I would be able to fall asleep soon.
What felt like hours later, I finally fell asleep.
I don't know how much later, but I remember waking up and it was pitch black in my room.
All the lights were off including the hall light and I couldn't hear
anyone downstairs. I could hear, however, someone walking around in the hall. Eventually it stopped
and I figured someone was going back to bed after using the bathroom. I rolled over to my other
side and was now facing the open door. I opened my eyes and immediately regretted it.
Someone was standing in the doorway. It was pitch black in the hall and in my room but I could
see the black silhouette of whoever was standing in my doorway. It was blacker than black,
like it was blocking any light from passing. The figure was the height of the doorframe,
which was about six feet. The bone-chilling part of that was that no one in my family was that
tall. I remember just laying there, chills running down my body, as I discovered I couldn't
move, keeping my eyes on the figure lurking in the doorway. I tried to break free of whatever
was holding me, but I couldn't. Whatever it was was too strong. I eventually gave up and just
stared at this thing. I could feel the thing staring directly at me, although it appeared to
have no eyes. Chills continued running through me non-stop as I try to relax. My breathing became
laboured and I don't remember anything after that. The next morning I was glad I had to leave for
school. I wanted out and I never wanted to go to school. But I knew it was the only way out of that house.
I remember later that day that my grandma said something about a weird presence in that house.
Her room was the next room over from ours and she is usually pretty intact with her feelings
and the spiritual side. I went on with my life.
telling no one, not even thinking about the incident, until one night I saw the figure again,
this time in my own room. Same thing, couldn't move, couldn't breathe. I felt the thing staring
at me, sucking my energy this time, and blacked out. I know this thing is demonic. The Bible says
anything that does not come with a good feeling is not of God and if it's not of God it's
of the devil and oh boy did this thing come with bad feelings I appreciate that you keep the
identities that people you submit stories private I would greatly appreciate if you would do
the same for me back when I was in high school in around 2011 or 2012 two of my friends
Cody and Andrew asked me to join them on an adventure I grew
I grew up in southern Utah, in a small town called Ivins.
It's on the outskirts of St. George.
Ivins is a very interesting town, with beautiful landscapes, red rocks, and friendly people.
It's not far from ghost towns, and more importantly, a Paiute Indian reserve.
One day my friends asked me to go and explore abandoned houses, ghost towns and an old cemetery.
were young and seeking a paranormal adrenaline high. At first, the places we went had zero
activity. In fact, the ghost town near Leeds Utah and the old cemetery were quite peaceful
and calm. This one old house had an eerie feeling, but that was about it. One day my friend
mentioned this abandoned mining refinery. He told me during weekends kids would go in and play
paintball during the day. But no one wanted to be in there
night. He told me a story where two teens tried to spend the night there as a challenge,
but they left only two hours in. Now my friends and I were confident about visiting this place.
We had been to all these areas and hadn't seen, felt or heard anything yet. So the following night
we set out to find this place. The area was a refinery for a closed mine. It was called Apex Mine.
I'm not sure what they mind there, but what I do know is it was on the reservation's land.
It was built without permission and abandoned.
The Paiute tribe was left with this large warehouse on their land.
There were local rumours that the tribe performed rituals and curses on it.
That night my friends and I went searching for this mine.
It was about 10pm and we were driving along this dark old highway.
We passed the turn off at first.
It was a dirt road that blended in with the sagebrush.
No signs indicated its existence.
We were confident and energetic on our way there.
We talked about the places we had been and highly doubted anything would happen.
But as we entered the dirt road, the whole car became silent.
I felt this heavy feeling of dread washed over me.
As we creeped down the road, I tried to calm myself down.
thinking I was just being paranoid.
One of my friends asked,
does anyone else feel that?
I feel a chill wash over me.
I wasn't the only one feeling uneasy.
My friend who was driving described it the same way I did.
A heavy feeling of dread.
I could see the silhouettes at the warehouse getting closer
as we drove down the dirt path.
We parked in front of a large gate,
large gate, like a cattle gate. It was partially open, but even if it was locked, it looked
easy to climb over. We sat in the car for about 30 minutes before we gathered the gumption
to exit the car. We were arguing with each other in hope to convince ourselves that we shouldn't
be scared, even though the feeling of dread never left. We all took a deep breath and
entered the gate. The wind was very heavy at this time.
normal for the area and time of year.
The main building was about 300 feet ahead of us now.
Around the area were old vehicles and equipment.
Before the main building there was this tiny shack, no bigger than the average shed.
I could hear banging coming from the shack,
and after closer inspection we could see the entrance door slamming over and over again.
I thought it was the wind, but...
but something looked unnatural about it.
Like it was being slammed open and closed by a person.
I was trying to be the brave one of the group
and put myself in front of our little squad.
When I got close,
the door suddenly stopped for a moment,
halfway open.
It went from a consistent rhythm to completely still,
as I was about to enter the door and push it open.
It suddenly slammed shut with four,
My face was only an inch away from it when it slammed.
I tried to open it, but it was like it was locked.
The chills ran through my whole body.
I was frozen in fear.
I slowly turned my head to my friend behind me and said,
What the hell was that?
We stood there for a moment trying to come up with explanations to why it closed and locked itself.
It had been windy for hours.
Why hadn't it closed?
before we got there. Why did it happen so close from right in front of my face? And ended
up locked at the same time. I told them repeatedly, let's just say it was the wind, trying
to calm ourselves down. We continued onwards towards the main building. It's a large complex
with two levels. Behind it is a large building that looks like a kind of hangar, before the main building
is about a hundred foot long dirt trail that leads straight to the front door.
As we approached the building along the trail, the wind completely stopped.
That was when I noticed something that made my heart sink.
There were no crickets chirping, nothing but dead silence.
In southern Utah, crickets are part of the night ambience during spring, summer and fall.
Their chirps fill the air and are incredibly loud.
Not this time.
It was a dead, eerie silence.
It is said that when cricket stopped chirping, there is usually something nearby.
Some say it could even indicate nearby entities as well.
I hoped it was maybe a rabbit, but there was no chirping in the whole area, which would be unusual
for a small creature.
I could see the faint lights about half a mile away where the Paiute Reservation Cemetery was.
Part of me thinks this is why the place was so active.
Anyway, I approached the main entrance.
It was so dark it appeared as if a black curtain was covering the entrance.
Before I entered, I stopped for a second and turned to look at my friends, saying,
Are you ready?
As I was mid-sentence, a noise I've never heard before starts to come from the building.
The best way I can explain it is almost like the tripod.
from all the worlds with Tom Cruise, but a deeper pitch, like a low drone, a horn.
Wind was blowing out of the door, blowing my hair back as if I was standing in front of a very
strong fan. There were still no wind outside. It only came from the building. I froze for a second
into it stopped.
I slowly start to turn around asking them what the fuck was at,
but before I could finish I saw my friends running away.
I started running as fast as possible trying to catch up.
As I was running, I felt something, jump on my back,
as if something heavy landed on my shoulders
or I was now giving someone a piggyback.
I was trying to run while keeping my body straight,
but the force got stronger and stronger, pushing my back forward.
It got so strong I felt I was practically running at a 90-degree angle, if that makes any sense.
Then I felt as if something had thrown me forward, hurtling me to the ground.
My friends came running back to pick me up and we sprinted to the car and peeled out of there.
We were completely silent until we got back to my house.
My jeans were completely ripped in the crotch and legs.
My knees were bloody and scraped up.
Andrew told me it looked like I got tossed in the air and flew six feet.
After that event the story spread throughout the school
and larger groups started going there until cops began patrolling the area.
People started getting trespassing tickets
and cameras started getting placed around the property.
I personally returned six different times with different groups
and each time was different, though I never got physically touched again like the first time.
That place forever changed my perspective on the supernatural and created an unwilling believer.
I've had other unexplainable experiences throughout my life, but nothing comes close to the intensity
and fear I felt there.
That's all for this entry into the tape library.
Thank you to everyone who submitted these stories.
I know most of you sent them in some time ago, so sorry it has taken me so long to get to them.
For those of you who are sleeping or can't be bothered to change the video yet, I will leave the tape rolling for a little while longer.
I'll see you all in September when we return to our regularly scheduled broadcast.
Until then, pleasant dreams.
