Starting point is 00:00:56 Welcome back to The Toast and happy Friday. I hope everybody's having an amazing kickoff to the weekend, period. Kickoff. Kick-off. Kick-it-off, girl. Got to kick it up. It's summer kick-off. It's the weekend kick-off with the toast. It's a summer kick-off, even though summer's in full swing. I know, but it always feels like summer's just a lot. about to get started. Summer. Summer. Summer. Yes, it's Friday. It's very exciting. Huge news for the community. Yeah, and it feels like Friday because Ms. Margo came to the house and she's our weekend warrior.
Starting point is 00:01:23 She's our weekend ward. So what, and that too? But you know, they call them weekend warriors. Like the young professionals who like live for the weekend are always like traveling and such. So Margot. So she's a weekend warrior. And that's how you know it's the weekend when Margot has landed. Well, the eagle has landed. the satchez land. We haven't seen her, but... No, but she's allegedly in the house. I haven't seen her, though.
Starting point is 00:01:45 We heard her stomping around last night. She actually woke me up with those big feet. Stomping around with those big feet. But yeah, legend says she's somewhere in the house. I didn't see her car, actually. I didn't look for it, though. Not that the driveway is so huge, but... But I didn't see it either.
Starting point is 00:02:03 The ghost of Satchie's past. Maybe she caught a ride? Maybe she left early this morning and, like, went somewhere? No. I didn't see it. Satu Lu, where are you? Where are you? That's a good point.
Starting point is 00:02:15 I really did not see her car. No, me neither. It was actually nice. I was able to like breeze out of the driveway. No one. Unencumbered. No obstacles. Unencumbered.
Starting point is 00:02:23 You're so unencumbered. By the family vehicles. Yeah. We have a lot to discuss because obviously things are happening. Things are developing as the leading source on Nickelandria Incorporated, colon, the most fraudulent scandal of the 21st century. things are happening. Alendra's, you know, fighting back.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Yeah, fighting back against what? I'm not sure. I'm not sure. You're punching the air, as the kids say. Of course, that's our lead story. And I don't want to, I don't want to die right in. Because I don't want to, like, give air to the allegations that we're hiding our personal lives. Of course.
Starting point is 00:02:57 Of course. Sorry, I didn't mean to skip ahead and dive into the allegations. People love the PFFB. So, like, much like you won't let Queenie and Weenie die, I won't let the pre-fell. That's my favorite. favorite part of the show. Okay, but the only thing is that, like, you, like, are actively trying to get Queenie and we need to die. I'm not trying to get PFFB to die. No, I feel like you do it subtly. No, I just like, you're subtle in your ways. One thing about me, um, it's like,
Starting point is 00:03:21 I get the bills paid here. Like, I do the advertisements. So I'm just eager to read your ads. I'm just like always keeping top of mind for like the flow of the show. We can't let too much time go by. We can't let too much little go by. Like, sorry, I'm keeping us on track in that sense. I understand. But like the PFFB is why they come. Of course, no, and the people of that be will never suffer. No, no, never. However, yesterday we did vlog pretty much the whole day. We did.
Starting point is 00:03:46 We're such vloggers. Like, I'm about to get, like... I don't want to give away too much of the vlog, but, like, it's giving, like, vlog miss up in here. We are at, we're at a vlog a day because we did one on Wednesday. We did one yesterday. And we actually are filming something today. It's a vlog. The Hamptons are just different.
Starting point is 00:04:01 The Hamptons are ripe for vlog. Like, there are so many, like, viral establishments. It's so pargy. You could go, like, the Ina route. You could go, like, the surf lodge. route like a rage we're obviously not doing that but like we're actually filming a documentary tonight that's like the format of the vlog let's yeah we don't want to spoil it but like big things coming to patreon yeah including the vlog we filmed yesterday so i don't want to give away too much of what we did
Starting point is 00:04:24 yesterday because it's in the blog right so we won't pff be too hard we won't however since i wrapped the vlog here's what's happened to me i've thrown my back out what i don't know i know i'm like fighting it It's like if I make one more move, it's going to rip. You're on the edge. When I was driving today, I actually wanted to self-drive because I was like, this is too hard. Do you put your heating pad on? I did. And that really helped.
Starting point is 00:04:48 But it was the co-sleeping that did me in. I must have hit a weird position. Yeah. There was a lot of co-sleeping going on last thing. That'll do it. And with a lot of, like, different children and different, like, ways. And it got me. And so I think I might have to take a back seat tonight.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Wow. You know, might stay behind the camera. Oh, I thought you meant in your bed. You might have to do Becky to the co-sleeping. No, and I also finally was able to resume off campus. I've crossed the hurdle. The personal, yeah, boundary that was crossed. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:05:21 It was hard. It was just such a shame. It was that scene that came next. Of course. If it was any other scene. Just seeing it through the landlord's eyes. But once I got past that, I was able to resume festivities. And it's actually crazy because now I'm at the part where they're about to go home for
Starting point is 00:05:37 Thanksgiving. Oh, yeah. So what's weird to me, it seems early in the show, but they're like very much a couple. It felt like what would happen at the end. Now, I know there are still a few things that have to happen. Of course. Like the scholarship. Oh, but of course, the performance. Yes. The showcase, excuse me. The showcase. There's always a showcase. And then, like, you know, Logan's in the background, like, pining for her. So I will say there are like a couple of storylines that just like straight up die. And Logan pining for her is one of them. Is there a lot more of show left? Like, and also what's so. is they showed their romance.
Starting point is 00:06:08 So the episode ends with that loudspeaker scene, which I loved. I love when she got on a loudspeaker. What did she say in the loudspeaker? When she was singing to him and the hockey. Yeah. Now that. And she actually, you love this. They just released.
Starting point is 00:06:20 People have been begging so many of the songs that she sings like Cherry Pie go viral. She just released a version of that song with Nile Horan, who I guess is like a fan of the show. Love that. Yeah. So that was so great. I love the loud speaker. I'm like, I'm back.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Yeah, yeah. And then the next episode, they have this whole montage of them. Screwing. Screwing. And then like the opening credits. And like that's their whole relationship. It literally happens before the opening credits. And now it's like Thanksgiving and we're back to I don't know what's going to happen.
Starting point is 00:06:47 But like you'll see. I hate when they fast forward through the good stuff. Yeah. The book, it's pretty true to the book. Because I recently remembered I actually did read it. And it's there's a lot of, you know, personal development, personal storylines like that are going to happen. Thanksgiving is a big part of it. And like that sort of like brings them together.
Starting point is 00:07:04 And then what eventually like, hey, hey. Yeah. Hey. You, and there's just a lot. Like, the best is yet to come on. I feel like, I'm not even halfway through and like. And they're in a relationship and like the deal worked. I kind of like want to stop watching now because I like how it's, how it's ended.
Starting point is 00:07:19 No, they have to grow. Like they have, growing pains. You'll see. You'll see. It's great. Okay. But I'm like, if I never picked it back up and like we, we called it here. I really enjoyed this show.
Starting point is 00:07:28 They're very cute. You know, they have to throw like a hurdle in. I was so glad that she didn't waste too much time on Justin. I was so glad that we didn't waste so much time. on like a miscommunication where it's like he thinks she doesn't like her so he goes back with the... And he like lets her go for himself.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Or he goes out of the other girl and just as she's about to tell him, oh, I like you, he sees her with the other... Hey, so like the fact that everyone put on their big kid pants and told each other how they felt and there's no miscommunication was major. Just a little behind the scenes, Justin is dating in real life the roommate.
Starting point is 00:08:02 I see that. Yeah. And then... I honestly knew you were about to say her. The roommate is the... subject for season two. Have you gotten to her storyline yet a little bit? A little bit.
Starting point is 00:08:10 She's like breaking up with the guy. She just snuck into a Jeep before Thanksgiving. She reminds me so much of a mixture of what's her name from victorious, his sister. Trina Vega. Trina Vega. Who, by the way, you're going to freak. You know, she's a huge toaster. Danielle Monet.
Starting point is 00:08:29 Okay. She just went on good guys. And she was talking about how like swirly pargy. She's like the biggest tozer. She reminds me of Trina Vega plus Jeanette McCurdy. She definitely reminds me of someone. I don't know if you've nailed it, like, in my mind, but she, I thought you reminded me of someone, like, in our own life. With a little bit of Jen Affleck.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Jen Affleck is a good call. Sprinkled on top. Okay. I'm not, like, loving the call. She has, like, the manic energy of Jeanette. Yeah. With the look of Trina. And Jen.
Starting point is 00:09:01 I'm telling you. Well, you should definitely keep going because it's good. And if, like, if you like it, if you like it only gets better. Okay. Cool, cool, cool. I know you just like watch it in secret and in solitude. So like take your time. Why?
Starting point is 00:09:11 It's actually like not cool that the two of them are like making Justin like still work on the song. And have you like gotten to the song yet? No, I haven't heard of it. But it's like he did her a favor. And now like Garrett comes to all the rehearsals to what rub it in his face. Like they literally like honey potted him. Yeah. When they like trapped him.
Starting point is 00:09:31 They like made her. She's so true. They made her his dream girl. Yeah. Then she denied him. And now they're going to rub it in his face. And he's helping her. get a huge scholarship.
Starting point is 00:09:39 I don't want to spoil it. That should be his money too. I don't want to spoil it. They make up a song together and then she like ends up throwing it away. Like she doesn't use it. So he does all this work for nothing. Okay. So it's even worse.
Starting point is 00:09:50 But it's like he has no reason to help her. It's not even like he's getting credit or anything. They should have like. I think he was just like, you know, he's like a musician. And there's a lot of the music. No, no. But there's a lot of rehearsals. Like this is a part-time job.
Starting point is 00:10:02 Have you not heard? Yellow, yellow. Hey. I think I have. Such a bad song. But it's like. Like every day he's spending so much time working with this girl. He's not getting paid.
Starting point is 00:10:10 His classes are suffering. His social life is suffering. And they're just like, no, it's true. Rubbing salt in the wound. It's actually true. So I feel bad for him, even though I don't like him. And I like Garrett Graham, West Wilson.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Of course, what's not to like? He reminds me of Miles Teller. Because he has that really charming smile. Like, that's what it is. Yeah. I feel like he's like this generation's Miles Teller of like, of good looking, like leading man. You know he was like the face of.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Reebok, which our sister Margo, like, had the foresight when the show was blowing up. She, like, nails him down. And now I just saw he was the face of like a, was it Garnier or like one of those big shampoo because he has like curly hair. So he had like a curl routine. He was obviously like naked the entire commercial, but it was a good commercial. And then also I had a flashback to that kid LaRoy dancing. And have I seen that yet in the show? Because he danced a little bit for on Drunk Shakespeare. Oh, you mean like the dance mood? Yeah. I don't know when he does it. Okay, because he danced to a Killaroy song at Drunk Shakespeare. Yes, so the song is like attached to him and his character.
Starting point is 00:11:11 So I was like, is this the big moment? But it was not, it was giving nothing. There was nothing. I don't remember. The drunk Shakespeare scene was one of my least favorites in the entire show. Okay. Just like fun fact. So I kind of blocked that out.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Yeah, it's obviously like not my favorite. I'm so glad you're watching it. Yeah. Yeah, I am. Obviously you're watching Madman. Like, I know nobody cares about my decades long recap. Let me just say that. Peggy.
Starting point is 00:11:32 I forgot like the big thing. I don't want to spoil it, but that she like. Yes, yes. And she's a real piece of shit. Like, I just, I can't stand her. Mm-hmm. That's it. Yeah, that's true no matter when you watch it.
Starting point is 00:11:44 When you watch it. When I watch it the first time, I also walked away with that feeling. Yes, of course. Oh, okay, wait, you haven't gone to Thanksgiving yet. So just keep us posted on your day. It's about to be Thanksgiving. She's going to support him. In the book, like, and they actually replicated it quite well.
Starting point is 00:12:00 It's such an important scene. Like, what goes down at Phil's house? Okay. Well, my back. is out so I might have to watch TV in bed today. Yeah. Um, what else? Like, I'm, again, afraid of jacques, so, so. Oh, well, I feel like I shared, like, what happened to me between nine and nine. Between nine and one. Margo woke you up. Oh, Margo woke me up with her big feet. And Ben, oh, right. Ben, Ben. Ben, got home super late last night because he was in the city all day,
Starting point is 00:12:28 like, like, recording podcast, hanging out with Craig. So you want to hear the most classic Ben thing ever. He was, like, hawking me all day. He's like, you know, we're recording good guys. He went into the city for a bunch of stuff and he banged out a couple of episodes with guests. Craig went on. Ben said it's like a historic episode with Craig. Really? Because I guess like Craig and Ben really haven't discussed the fact that Craig and Kyle reunited like made up. Right, right. And like boys like don't really care. But like Ben was like I guess we should talk about it. And I had like a really beautiful open and honest conversation. It's all on the podcast. Ben says it's like actually going to blow the Bravo universe off like dead ass. Oh, I'm sure that it will. I wonder what was said. I'll find out.
Starting point is 00:13:00 So we had like three or four interviews booked and they didn't have a guest for like the last one. And I was like, called Taylor Shrekker. Like she's always available. And her show's coming out this week. The House of Salis is like a perfect time to have her on. She wasn't available. Ben was like, whatever. I'll just, I'll figure it out.
Starting point is 00:13:14 And like, of course, like, that's not how things work. Like, you have to book people. Of course Taylor Shrekker can't come. He's walking into the studio. Who does he run into? Jared Freed. Who has a couple of hours to kill? Jared Freed.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Who went on good guys? Jared Freed. Is that crazy? Yeah. Like, that's so Ben. Like, things just working out. Has he been on good guys yet? I think so.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Maybe one. On the jege. On the jege. So then Ben was also in town for the Bon Jovi concert. And let me tell you, Ben went with Craig, obviously. And he had such a good time. He was like, Ben is such a grandpa, like,
Starting point is 00:13:48 facetimbing me from a concert. Like, I'm good. How is Craig? Did he say anything? Like, is he filming? Ben, like, doesn't ask the questions. I know. Because, like, right, it's July.
Starting point is 00:13:56 They should be filming Southern Charm. I'm sure that they are. And, like, is he seeing anyone? I don't know. Like, Ben doesn't know what to ask. And I didn't send him in with, like, a list of questions. And I think he, that's probably why people like him. Yeah and that's why like they continue to hang out with him,
Starting point is 00:14:09 not me like with my list. Yeah, yeah. And like going to the bathroom to text my sister what everyone said. Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi, Ben calls me like, once Margo woke me up, I was like up. I was like up and like, Ben's like on my way home. I'm like, oh my God, what happened to the concert? He said Bon Jovi like had to cancel the concert after it had already started. So he, I think he was on stage for like an hour and a half. Ben said he literally played all the hits. But he said, listen, I can't go on. He has like this vocal cord injury. He is. refunding everyone or like you get new tickets even though like they literally saw almost the whole show Ben was like I saw every song I wanted they did live in on a prayer like yeah um so Ben will probably
Starting point is 00:14:46 have to go back to the city for like the rescheduled chow oh really yeah no no he saw the whole thing he said like he got you know and then he also got to get home at a sort of reasonable hour you know who he brought out special guest so random Jared freed close the lead singer of train oh he's having like a good month he is because he's invited to taylor's wedding yeah and now bon jovie we brought him on stage at MSJ. Yeah. So Ben had a blast. So then at that point when Margaret was like, my nine to nine is like,
Starting point is 00:15:10 Margo woke me up. So I was like, you know, might as well wait up that Ben was going to be home in like an hour. So I waited up like such a good wife. And then we fell asleep together. Beautiful. Yeah. Really beautiful.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Okay. I think with that we can get into the fast five stories. Like I'm bored by my own PFFB, you know? The fast five story. I don't know. Well, it's all in the blog. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Honey put it in the vlog. It's time for the fast five stories that you did it do need to know. And the fast five stories that you that do need to know are brought to you by Amazon Music. Claudia, I was looking at my phone this morning and realized my home screen is actually embarrassing. I have a different app for everything I'm listening to. Music in one place, podcast in another, audiobooks somewhere else. It's just too much. I get it.
Starting point is 00:15:49 As a sweeper, that can be obviously very frustrating. You don't have to live like that, Jackie. If you are constantly bouncing between apps just to find something to listen to, there's a better way. Amazon Music. I've been using Amazon Music Unlimited because it has my podcasts and my music and now audiobooks all in one app. it makes things so much easier. Oh, and speaking of audiobooks, I actually just started Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Stop, it's so good.
Starting point is 00:16:10 I literally just finished it and there were multiple times where I'd get home and just sit in my driveway or maybe take one extra lap around the block because I cannot stop in the middle of a chapter. The narration is incredible. And you know how picky I am with audiobooks turdy. Yes, exactly. It is absolutely toe certified. No, I'm sold. And that's exactly the type of audiobook that makes doing errands or just like menial things feel really exciting.
Starting point is 00:16:29 So whether you're listening to your favorite playlist, catching up on podcasts or like Jackie, completely disappearing into an audiobook, having everything in one place just makes life easier. Amazon Music, music, podcasts, and audiobooks all in one app. Download today to start listening. Today's episode is also brought you by the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance Program. Starting point is 00:18:45 but with a little bit more authentic flavor from that fruit. It comes in a bunch of different flavors. I personally would recommend the raspberry tea or the lemon tea. Tea is very personal, so obviously, like, do what makes you happy. But Spindrift is just such a great beverage brand. I love that they're moving into teas. And the ingredients are parjy. So you're just getting targeted results-driven services built around reaching your specific skingles because I think a lot of times when we go for these services, It's a lot of stern and drang, it's a lot of performing, and it's just like time that you don't have. And for a lot of us, like, yes, it would be nice to lay around all day.
Starting point is 00:20:05 But we're working, we're busy, we're moms. Like, yes, I still need my lashes and a facial. So going to one place, getting it all done in a really time effective and affordable way. It's super smart. It's built for busy mamas, working women, and everyone in between. They're open evenings and weekends, so it really fits into your real life. Our first story, Allandria, is breaking her silence amid the reported Nicolandria split
Starting point is 00:21:07 after Dumas circulated new dating rumors. So yesterday we shared that Dumois had shared some anonymous tip that Alandria was hooking up with Travis Scott. The DM actually said that it's been for a few months. Yes, but it said something like now that the PR relationship is. over. Yeah. She's been. It was a shady submission.
Starting point is 00:21:32 She's been with Travis Scott. Alandria commented and said, I hope you have your lawyers ready because I have mine. Now, if you go to look for the comment, it's not there. Because Al-Andria blocked Moumwa. Dumois then commented again and said, update. It appears as though Al-Anra has blocked me. That's why her comments missing, but I didn't delete it. It was there at one point.
Starting point is 00:21:49 And she's hoping that she has her lawyers ready. Dumas sort of ate her up in the response because Dumas was like, yeah, I just DM'd you their letter. Like, I guess she did get it. a letter from Elendra. I just want to say O'Landria is so famous. And like, this is really not famous person behavior. Dumas, like, and the submissions are so harmless. I think maybe at one
Starting point is 00:22:08 point they were like this Bible that people, but like, it's just not as powerful as it once was. And now it's sort of like a after the fact, people are like, yeah, I got a submission from Dumas. It's like, well, you didn't tell us this before. And also it's like, as a famous person, there are worse things to happen than a rumor that you're dating one of the most famous rappers in the world. Absolutely. I feel like this is actually a bad look for O'Andria.
Starting point is 00:22:31 I agree. Because letting people think it's true, like that's great for you. And if it's not true, which like it probably isn't, like, who cares? And it's not like grounds. And it's distracting people from talking about Nick, which like if we're, let's, we're going to dive in, we're going to get to the fraud, you know? Yeah. But also it's not grounds for a lawsuit to say that like you're seeing someone that you're
Starting point is 00:22:50 not seeing. Is it? No, no. Like factually, she is wrong. But also she just like looks petty. Like, and she looks humorless. Like seriously the most like... Well, no, not humorless because it's not a joke.
Starting point is 00:23:01 She just looks like she's not acting her fame. Like, yeah, I guess. I don't know, but it's just like so serious. It is. It's not that serious. And she hasn't spoken out at all about the relationship and like, this is what you choose to engage with. Yeah. I feel like maybe she was mad, not even about the Travis Scott thing, but that the submission said now that the PR relationship is over.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Because that could, it's also, you know, could be defauntatory. Well, I could take you to court because I have proof. Like it's VR. Yeah. Yeah. And then I mean, that's just like so crazy to threaten lawyers over like a really innocuous rumor like this. Yeah. And like Dumas sort of now standing ten toes down.
Starting point is 00:23:41 So when I was thinking about like queenie and weenie, I honestly feel that like Dumas is both my queenie and my weenie this week. Because it was really lame of her to post the submissions like after the fact. That's like the opposite of what she's supposed to do. She's supposed to be this like, what do you need to be anonymous for? Like if you're just not doing anything even remotely controversial. But she's kind of, you should see her fighting with the old Nickelandria fans in the comments. Like she's kind of eating them up. And it's Queenie behavior after, I'm sorry, she did act like a meeting.
Starting point is 00:24:06 But some of us have been fighting Nicolandria fans for a year. Before it was popular. For a year. Yeah. Like, and it's just crazy that now everyone sort of. Sees what we see. Yeah. And acts like they saw it all along.
Starting point is 00:24:17 Oh, it's true. You weren't there. Like, where were you? Where? You were not there. We were alone. And like, it's fine that you want to be Nicolandria and like have a fake PR relationship and like ride the hotels of this immensely successful show.
Starting point is 00:24:29 And like, it was the fan's idea to put them together. So, like, we're just giving the people what they want. They're saying together for the fans, yeah. That's fine. Yeah, but don't spin in my face and tell me it's raining. Like, it's over now. Like, let's just call it what it was. Yes, completely.
Starting point is 00:24:43 So I just feel like this whole time when we've talked about Nick O'Lander, we've talked about how, like, Nick brings O'Andro down. Like, we watch that season at L'Anjaro was a queen. And she remained a queen long after the season. And we knew that this was a fake remandering. relationship when we knew it was going to end and I don't know I never thought that like it would end and end up being like bad for nickel for excuse me for elandria herself because to me she's like untouchable and he's just there no when it ended it would be good for a lanter this is holding her back but for but now it's
Starting point is 00:25:10 the audit you know yeah and it's like as an as an olandria fan like historically myself I'm kind of like looking at her a little sideways like yeah and then this it's just kind of messy yeah yeah like engaging with dumois is like a hard no I feel like any celebrity who's ever sort of like but also if you want to clap back about a dating rumor about yourself, that's not true. Say it's like completely not true that she's never even met Travis Scott. There are like funny, better ways to do it that are not like I'm going to sue you.
Starting point is 00:25:38 No, it's so lame. That's why I mean when she's humorless. Like she could have responded and been like, this is news to me. Right. Travis Scott call me. Yeah. You could have like played and like been fun.
Starting point is 00:25:47 But no, now you just look like a sore whatever. Yeah. Yeah. It's a bad look. And also like, let's say it's not true. I'd be more than happy to let people think that. That's a good thing for people.
Starting point is 00:26:00 And if it is true, like you can't threaten a lawsuit because it's true. It wouldn't be your first fake relationship. It would not be her first fake relationship. Very true. This like remains my personal Roman empire. And like when we think about like there have been certain moments in pop culture. Laughing is hurting my back. Oh, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:26:19 I'll cool down. Yeah, yeah. No, continue. I just think that like when people talk about huge moments in pop culture, especially for the toast. We always see like Scandival, West Mandeval, Taylor Frankie Paul, like these huge peaks. These are career-making moments for us. Nobody's going to look back and think of Nicolandria.
Starting point is 00:26:35 Like, I will. Yeah. And like in five years, when we do like a Patreon going through old titles and everything's like Nickelander this, Nickelander that. Like we would otherwise have forgotten them. No, and somebody left to comment on our Instagram yesterday. They will be a footnote on the anals of pop culture history. But not on mine.
Starting point is 00:26:53 They are the headline. They are a chapter. Yes. Somebody left to comment being like, you guys are always putting Nicolandria in your titles, like your fans, for real. Yes. Yes. That's what we've been saying.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Like, no one's listening to us. So frustrating. We're fans of what Nicolandria actually is. Not what you thought it was. Yeah. We're business women ourselves. Oh, I respect a business. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:18 That's why I'm drinking Loonin. I know. It looks like we're either subliminally. We have no affiliation with this brand. And I just want to say this. water is extremely mid. It's genuinely water. I like the sparkling. I just want to say yesterday I had mine. I felt very compelled to finish it, which I did. I'm like, I'm never going to finish this, by the way. Cardboard. I know. Even though I got a bagel this morning. Okay. Like everything in the
Starting point is 00:27:42 Hamptons is obviously like so expensive. So color me shocked. I got this big ass loon in water. Oh, I have it right here. A little orange juice to go with my bagel and a bagel. What do you think that would cost? In regular, like in what do I think you paid? Yeah. like $17. $14. I thought that was a pretty good price. Yeah. I don't even like...
Starting point is 00:28:03 I mean, these waters, I feel like are $20. So crazy. I don't even know. Like when you come home and say like my blowout was $85, I'm like, is that good or bad? Yeah. That's like when I went to say bar. It's like money is just different.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Uh-huh. And it's like things that like a roast chicken at a restaurant. Like even at a really nice, it's like 40. Usually between 25 and 40. Like it's 70. Like it's just like things are different. Yeah. That's where we are right now.
Starting point is 00:28:24 So 14. that's good even though someone is probably watching being like you got two drinks and a bagel and a bagel is one dollar wait a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and also i asked them for a light layer because it was put too much well they don't charge you less for that but but they should so that's like really should be two yeah in the city like a water an orange juice it's like four dollars but not a lounen and that's fresh squeeze you could taste a pulp i know i didn't like love the pool so it's also like you get what you pay for a little bit it's true you know it wasn't tropicana no well olandria I wouldn't be doing it this way.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Yeah. Because a breakup is an opportunity. Whether people are like we're supporting you or whatever, it's a press moment. So like now we're just like reading about how like you're being bitter, you know? Mm-hmm. Do you think she's heartbroken? No. Like, because if Nicolandria was real, like, they have to go through heartbreak too.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yeah, but they're not. So that's good. Yeah. Like is he going to go to his DJ gigs and like act. Cry? Upset? No. Like he is going to fall off.
Starting point is 00:29:28 She is not. Fall off of what? Like they are She lifted him up Like he does DJ gigs Like and people go Yeah Yeah
Starting point is 00:29:37 There's a lot of like there's space for a lot of DJs I also said hooda Mustafa Got paparazzi Did you see this like She's walking out It was so staged And they were like talking about her music And she said like the music industry
Starting point is 00:29:48 Has been so open Like from She's actually like been really shocked At the reception From the music industry Um Since she released her song I saw that like
Starting point is 00:29:56 Her dream collaborator is Rihanna which is so different. I love like when people choose this sort of like alternative artists. Yeah. She is one of the, she remains like the craziest person
Starting point is 00:30:07 I've ever seen on TV. Yeah and she's like really on like does she have any friends from her season? It's crazy that like Hoda is from Sierra season and Shelley and Clark. But she was on the outs even in the villa. Like the girls were fucking done with her by the end.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Not done enough. No, agreed. But like the fact that they didn't remain friends with her is not shocking. No. The fact that they remained friends with Olandria which was like sister.
Starting point is 00:30:27 That's shocking. Yeah. I also have been following the current Islanders. Like, Kenzie, she's out in the Hamptons. I saw. With Jaden. And Caleb. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:30:39 I saw, um, what's her man's name? Dylan. Dylan. Hate. Yeah, he's giving me, like, real grifter vibes. Hate. He posted a picture, like, with a corny-ass caption about how he made her his girlfriend. Like, you literally made her miserable.
Starting point is 00:30:56 It's true. Like, made her bag. shockingly people like her so much out of the villa which I'm so happy for her. That like she really is just like a nice girl. Yeah and like and she was just totally redeemed. Like yes she had like a bad few moments but like we have forgiven her and like and she's having a good time and he's like totally riding her coattails and like if she came out to like hatred he would have dumped her in a second.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Yeah. So I hated his caption. But anyways they're all together and it made me realize I haven't seen the core four together at all. No, I know. They all like did go to L.A. with their couples and like I don't know, do stuff, got their hair done and like maybe recorded podcasts or whatever then a lot of them no podcasts have come out that's true a lot of them went home individually a lot of them went home separately so like trinity and brice both went to
Starting point is 00:31:35 virginia together but zach and kata because he had to go to england and she went to new hampshire they separated did you see that he had to go to england because fans called immigration on him because of his visa i mean i've said it once i say it again like love island remains like one of the most toxic mentally ill fanhoods of all time that's insane yeah so he has to go sort of his visa trinity and brys like are getting paparazzied everywhere they go. They are so famous. And then I also, so it keeps coming up on my Instagram that like all these big talent agencies keep announcing.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Oh, yes, Trinity signed with WME, Gersh, signed Anaya. Bryce went to UTA. Like, it's just so funny that they're all like getting their teams in order. Well, I had heard that like after this season. There was like the 10 days after the season, they were like scheduled meetings and network scheduled for them with talent agencies. And I guess that's all. I don't know if they've always done that, but that might be the flip side of this
Starting point is 00:32:24 exclusivity contract that they signed. it's like they're going to help them and be taken care of be talent so they had like you know and those are major agencies which historically like have not signed reality TV people until those reality TV people have really proven themselves as like commercial successes Bryce like is actually I do think that the timing of Dickalandria and then Bryce and Trinity like couldn't be more perfect because Bryce is a DJ and they were like this beloved couple and honestly I just feel like Nick's gigs are going to go to Bryce I forgot that he was a DJ. I didn't realize he was a DJ either. He did a lot of things.
Starting point is 00:32:57 And garbage truck repairman. Garbage truck repairman? Yeah, he does garbage. He used to. Probably not anymore. Like now he probably won't do that. Like how Alandra used to make elevators. Oh, that was her job.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Sterling. Love that. Yeah, he had a field day with that. He really did. And Mel. I know everyone's job for me. Melody worked in a bikini store. Melanie worked in a bikini store.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Trinity worked at Home Depot. Did she? Uh-huh. Obsessed. Keda? No profession to speak of. It's a student. It's a student.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Like Corbin. Yeah. He a student. He did just graduate. Corbin and Parmita are all over my TikTok. Oh, then there's the Miami gang of Cormon, Parmita, and Gabriel. Oh, and then Beatrice just won a huge medal for, like, the long jump. Oh, congratulations.
Starting point is 00:33:40 And she also has been hanging out with a lot of the CASA people, even though she didn't know them then. I think, like, Amora. And Sean's hanging out with nobody because he's too good for these people. And, like, he has a child. I saw he went to an event. And they were, like, asking him where his fit was from. and he said, oh, actually my whole fit is from Sheehan because I got a care package from them.
Starting point is 00:34:02 PR. It was so cute. That is cute. It was, it was like very innocent. Caleb was hanging out with Nick at one point. Who's Nick? Alandria. What?
Starting point is 00:34:15 He went to one of his DJ gigs. And I think Caleb might be in the Hamptons. Yes, with Jaden and Dylan and Hannah. And Hannah's there and Kenzie. For a cowboy colostrum. Yeah, right. honestly it's love island summer like it is and it's fun to see like who's remained friends and what's crazy is the core four their friendship won the season like that was like they were the final
Starting point is 00:34:35 four because of their friendship people just wanted them in and like they're the only ones not being friends right now also the streets like don't know if melony and sincere together so like Melanie was one of the last people to like come back to social media and post and what she ended posting was like a 20 thing carousel like photos none of them was sincere oh she also died her hair pink which is like giving breakup yeah um i fucking hope so i think she also like needed some time to all the episodes right and like gather information yeah yeah interesting i haven't seen sincere once thank god and it's been amazing yeah and then i feel like we're forgetting about a couple soul have you been seeing soul around no i know she did that like turned instagram live and then that's
Starting point is 00:35:12 she's been like wearing a lot of wigs you're kidding yeah her hair was one of the things i liked i know and every time she like wears a wig i'm like i love how you look naturally um so but i haven't seen her like hanging out with anyone no Oh, and Jen and Gall. Photo shoots. Coffee. She has a bagel at Papa. That's my queen right there.
Starting point is 00:35:34 Really cute. I'm happy for everyone because like we said, like the humiliating nature of the show and the things that they do on the show. Like they deserve every minute of this. Every fame, every follower, every dollar. Yeah. They've earned it. They really have. So it's fun to watch.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Yeah. Okay. Next story. Kylie Kelsey details Taylor and Travis is absolutely magical. wedding. Kylie shared on her podcast on Thursday, not going to lie, she said, I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trab. It was absolutely magical. I'm so happy for them. We love them so, so dearly, and it was only making it official because Taylor's been family now for quite some time. So that's that. She said for any additional information, you can check in with Taylor and Travis because any of the
Starting point is 00:36:17 details they want to share, they can share. Otherwise, it was intimate and incredible and full of love, both for each other and everybody else's love for them. You know, I, like, have long thought that, like, these two just, like, definitely hate each other. They're so different. But you know what? Now that the dust has settled, I actually think that they're super close. I do. Super close.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Like, the fact that Taylor and Travis, like, hung out with them right after their wedding and, like, they could have been by themselves. They could have been with anyone. And, like, they wanted to be with Travis's brother and his wife. Like, that's really sweet. And I think Taylor, it's, like, super family-oriented. She has one brother who she's really close with. not like a million siblings so it must be exciting to like be getting more family especially when like
Starting point is 00:36:55 you know in her position there's probably not like a ton of people you could like trust wholeheartedly it must be nice to get new people you can completely trust yes three I don't know if I trust the dad like Donna yeah Donna Donna Jason Jason and Kylie yeah so I think that um the more I think about it like while these two had these not been the circumstances and they met in any other way like they definitely would not have liked each other. But, you know, you can't choose your family. And I actually think now, I think that they're really close. Okay, that's really sweet.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Mm-hmm. I think, you know, she, like, addressed to the wedding, which she had to do. She had to, just so she could move on. She gave away nothing, which she didn't. Which she also had to do, you know, because I think everyone's, like, waiting to see what Taylor and Travis want to say. And I thought what the one, you know, sort of personal thing that she said, which was that, you know, they... She's already been family. She's been family for a while now.
Starting point is 00:37:52 Like, if she didn't like her, she didn't need to say that. No, and it's actually a very sweet thing to say. It is a nice thing to say. I agree. No, I'm no longer looking into this, you know? But for you to go from being like, oh, these two hate each other, like, monster-in-laws. I just wanted to say, I didn't think that they hated each other. I thought that Kylie hated Taylor.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Like, just Kylie's personality type seems like the type of person who hypothetically would hate Taylor's personality type. Yeah. Yeah, no, I think that I was wrong. Which I'm more than happy to say. So for you to go from that to their very close. I think that like being with your brother and sister-in-law directly after your wedding during your honeymoon, like is a huge statement. And we don't know it's like 100% true, but like Streets said that they were in Montana with Jason and Kylie. And I'm just operating under that assumption.
Starting point is 00:38:33 I don't know why that would be a lie. Yeah. And I think that that's very sweet. Yeah. That is very sweet. So anyways, TikTok on the deeps. Yeah. I'm getting like, daily reminder.
Starting point is 00:38:44 I'm getting concerned that it ain't coming. It's been three weeks. And Paige Paul came and went. She's still going. Yeah, right. She's still sharing. Now they're on their honeymoon. Oh, where is she?
Starting point is 00:38:58 I think they're in Nantucket. They're doing a lot of like fishing. On Nantucket. Oh, how uncouth. Yeah. A lot of fishing, a lot of beer drinking. That's so. They went to the Dairy Boy story, I think.
Starting point is 00:39:11 Cute. Yeah, like so not a real honeymoon. Right. They took a mini moon, as the kids say. Yeah. Which is cute. Are you ready for our next story? One number?
Starting point is 00:39:22 Three. Yeah. Kim Kardashian is using her bar exam failure to sell energy drinks. So Kim shared an update yesterday about update, though there's not really an update, but just a more of promotion. Yeah. She made this big countdown, like, announcement. I didn't really fall for it, but it was kind of like a serious countdown. And like I thought like something big was coming.
Starting point is 00:39:44 And it was just a commercial for the drink that already exists. Right. So it was a commercial for a drink that we already knew that she was a part of. And it was just like a big commercial making her a big part of it. There was lots of jokes. It was very high production. And her new energy drink brand is called Update. It's no caffeine and no sugar.
Starting point is 00:40:01 The whole campaign is about how like, you know, she's the hardest worker. And like I think that this drink is the hardest working drink. Right. Like what is the hardest working women in the world drink to keep up? Update, allegedly. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Yeah. Yeah. That one like didn't stick. What? Update. It hasn't, I feel like now from here or on. No, it literally came out like well over a year ago. I got a PR package. Oh, did you? I feel like and I put them in the fridge and like I meant to drink them and I never did. A couple months ago was
Starting point is 00:40:26 announced that she was like, she didn't start the company but she was coming on and like making her own. And then this seems like and that was more like B to B news. No, no, no. It was like out and stuff. Like. And then this seems like the first real like B to C push. It's not. Maybe they're trying, like it's another big B to C push. Perhaps. But it just feels like like Skims is doing so well. Why you got to go and start another company? Like, it's good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Like, Kylie's also doing hydration as well. Hydration sticks under K2O under Sprinter. Right. Sprinter's not alcohol anymore. Yeah. It's hydration sticks. Kendall has 818. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:41:09 Yeah. This doesn't do it for me. I'm not like running out and buying updates. No either. The commercial was well done. There was a joke about how she didn't, someone said, didn't you like fail the bar. She said, I didn't fail the bar.
Starting point is 00:41:22 I raised it. Well, you also failed twice. Is she going to take it again? Please. I know. But like imagine she did all of that, like just to not even finish. I know. You can only fail so many times, right?
Starting point is 00:41:37 Like if you fail, I think three times, they don't only take it. Okay. That's like that would be good. That would be good. You can't just take it. She's going to take it again. Like knowing her, you know, she doesn't give up failure is not in her vocabulary. She will take it again.
Starting point is 00:41:51 I actually think it was only her first time taking it. She passed the baby bar, and then this was her first time taking the regular bar. I don't think so. You know, JFK Jr. failed the bar. Like, there are greats who have. But what did he, aside from, like, being JFK Jr., like, what did he do great as a lawyer? Oh, as a lawyer, nothing. He started that magazine, which you don't have to be a lawyer to do.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Yeah. Like, his greatness didn't come from the fact that he passed the bar. From his legal background. Yeah. So I wouldn't use that as an example. Okay. but yeah what's to say really
Starting point is 00:42:27 what's to say about update I'm not sure other than the fact that like I personally don't care yeah and like don't waste a countdown you know I know like Taylor does it and Taylor I feel those sometimes wastes it she does but I'm desensitized to her countdowns it's true I know it's gonna be
Starting point is 00:42:43 like a new vinyl a new cover but when you're not a countdown person and then you do a countdown like Not with some news I already knew. Yeah, Kim, this was definitely not countdown worthy. Uh-huh, uh-huh. 100%. Okay, are you ready for our fourth story?

Starting point is 00:45:58 So most people just assume that if they're taking supplements every day, they're getting the benefits. Unfortunately, the reality is that the vast majority of supplements have very low absorption rates. That means most of what people spend their money on is actually never getting inside

So Jerry O'Connell is making news, admitting that he was a terrible boyfriend to his ex-
Starting point is 00:49:02 Juliana Ransing. Yeah, so that was the first time I'm hearing of this. So the way this story reached me was I saw Julianna made a video. I don't follow her. She's on the boat saying, oh, my ex wants to talk about how we went down 20 years ago. We could talk about it. New episode of Bill and Juliana drops next week.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Drops next week. And then the caption, it said something about Jerry. I'm like, who's Juliana's a random ex named Jerry? Like, what's the tea? Then come to find out she's talking about Jerry O'Connell, who went on Sirius XM show, Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripper. And he admitted to Kelly Ripper that he was a terrible boyfriend.
Starting point is 00:49:40 to Juliana. So this is what he said to Kelly Rippa that caused Juliana to make that video. I mean, he said it, but then also, like, he got picked up a lot. It was like, People Magazine was obsessed with it. Yes, but, like, this is what People Magazine is saying that he said. So she asked Jerry about his relationship with Juliana. He noted that, though they had. It's inappropriate.
Starting point is 00:49:57 Yeah, like over 20 years ago. He's married. She's married. Yeah. You know what? Kelly's asking the hard questions. Kelly is going to, Kelly. Commend the Cajonades.
Starting point is 00:50:06 It's true. Not mindless news after all. Finally. He noted that though they had a lot of fun together, he was a pretty terrible boyfriend. So in her memoir from 2016, she alleged that he cheated on her and ended their relationship over intercom. Intercom. Yeah, like, you know, when you... What in the 90s?
Starting point is 00:50:25 Yeah. Kelly asked Jerry if Juliana had ran by him the contents of her memoir that pertained to him, and Jerry said she had not. She doesn't have to, if that's true. Yeah, he said, now listen, in Giuliana Ransig's defense of this memoir, I was a pretty terrible boyfriend. hand up I was not a good boyfriend let me take this moment to apologize to Juliana Ransing I'm not kidding about being a terrible boyfriend I was the worst
Starting point is 00:50:45 I wasn't the worst boyfriend I was just a bad boyfriend I was just not a great boyfriend in the memoir she said So were you a good boyfriend or a bad boyfriend here? She said he broke up with her via intercom which he confirmed he said I broke up with her through an intercom because Juliana Ransing came to my condominium
Starting point is 00:51:02 and hit my intercom I was not expecting Juliana Ransing She wanted entry into my condominium. Thank goodness. Buzzard, gate, security. I paid a pretty hefty homeowner's fee for these things. He said, I said, I did not know you were coming. You can't come up here.
Starting point is 00:51:19 You can't come here unannounced. Notice no one had a- Boundaries. Notice that no one had a key. They were dating. And she wanted to come into his condominium. Of course, he's insane. He said no one had a key.
Starting point is 00:51:29 So the relationship was not like that. But that was why. I didn't like someone coming to my condominium. Why just keep calling it a condominium? And why does he keep calling her Juliana Rancid coming to my apartment when she was Juliana Depandy then? She was Juliana Depandi. He said, I didn't like someone coming to my condominium without an invite or even a text or a phone call. There was no warning.
Starting point is 00:51:48 And I didn't want someone coming in because I didn't want any confrontation. He then, then Kelly proceeded to read a line from Juliana's memoir on what Jerry said. Kelly, they prepared. I had no idea this hat. Me neither. Like, much like the bald woman. Should we bring Juliana's memoirs? Running out of goodwill.
Starting point is 00:52:04 I didn't know they ever dated, that they ever dated. that they end upchutiously, that she spilled the beans in 2016. No, I knew none of this up until yesterday. So Juliana says in her memoir that Jerry on the intercom said, nope, sorry, home girl, things change, but you take care, okay? Oh, my God. Now, Jerry said, I don't recall exact wording, so I can't deny that I said that. It doesn't sound like something I would say.
Starting point is 00:52:25 I mean, if I were writing a memoir, it would make for a good quote. I'm going to applaud Juliana for using colorful dialogue and everything. Ooh, okay, he's gaslighting her. So now Juliana, here's that. takes to Instagram and says, oh, you want to know the true story of what happened with my ex. Check out my podcast. It's coming out next week. I'm sure there's a lot of tea because he did probably cheat on her. He was a terrible boyfriend. And he's admitting to those things and like sort of, you know, trying to take the sting out of it. But she's going to bring the sting back in. And I do understand
Starting point is 00:52:53 Juliana like responding to this on her podcast because I think at the place that she's in, like you only get so many big moments for your podcast. So yeah. That's true. So you know what? I get it. Like this is a hustle. We all are doing. what we have to do. I don't know if the Bill and Juliana podcast makes waves very often. But I would also say like the podcast should have dropped today. Oh, for sure. Don't tell me to tune in next week because I'll be on to something new next week. I personally won't be tuning in.
Starting point is 00:53:18 No, of course. Let me know what happens. She like confounds me a little bit because she like left public life like by choice, right? Well, she left E-News and such. Yeah. And I think a lot of people left E-News either by their own decision or not. And they continue to do other stuff like social. media and I don't know she like she does social media she like really disappeared she does social media she does social media she has a podcast she does social media she left like television but she does fat fit fun like she i don't know if fat fit fun is still in business i think it is fat fit fun is like so important
Starting point is 00:53:51 to me yeah and also like she is like people like really like her and bill and they have a really nice marriage and bill is rich well they're rich excuse me that was like very condescending in me but like he, like, is rich. Is he? He won the apprentice. But that's like... But not like celebrity apprentice. Back in the day, if you were on regular apprentice, it was like a huge deal.
Starting point is 00:54:12 It was, but it didn't mean that you were rich. It meant that you were like a smart person. No, but it meant that like you were, he got like a big job. Like you, like, it used to mean something. Yeah. We think of celebrity. But like that was so long ago, like what happened to the job. That's like winning America's next top model.
Starting point is 00:54:25 Like didn't mean you were the next top model. No, it's not because like you were getting a job in business, not in modeling. Like, modeling is fickle and fleeting. Like, it's like he went to business school. Like, yeah, no, he's definitely like smart and a good businessman. I think he's done well for himself. And there's a reason why he won the apprentice.
Starting point is 00:54:38 And I think that showcased his talents. But just because you win the apprentice, like, doesn't mean you become a moneyed individual. Oh, I, like, actually think that it does. Really? What does Bill Rancic do for work? Like, I know he's rich. Or am I just, like, genuinely make him rich. But you think the apprentice made him rich.
Starting point is 00:54:52 And they also own a chain of restaurants. Yeah. He's best known for winning the apprentice. He's handsome. He looks like Eddie Sibrian. He's a restaurant owner, of course. They own RPM, which, like, is a big deal in Chicago.
Starting point is 00:55:03 I think it's like equivalent of BLT steak. There's like a million of them. BLT steak. BLT Italian, that's what I think. He's also an entrepreneur and investor becoming famous, Bill started an online subscription business
Starting point is 00:55:12 and since the apprentice he's invested in a variety of businesses and real estate projects. He's a professional speaker and author in a podcast house. Okay, maybe I'm like misremembering. No, but that's sweet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:23 I was thought like she left Ian left her public life because she had a rich husband, you know? No. But she obviously like has opportunities. don't just like leave and nobody really could do what she did after her that's a job of they are still trying to fill the shoes that juliana and ryan they canceled the show right because they cannot find the shoes to fill that juliana and ryan left behind i actually don't think that
Starting point is 00:55:47 e-news was a failure this time around because they couldn't find the people to fill i just think like it was too late you're telling us news at 7 p.m like we knew this yesterday knowing like the way people consume content entertainment news is just different than it was not what it was and they just couldn't evolve she's just like an anomaly to me but even like red card carpet coverage. That's still very real. It has suffered. And they still try and fill the shoes. Yeah, but they don't fill the shoes. The thing about Juliana and Ryan is like nobody knew who they were. They were just journalists. Right. Them filling with Laverne Cox. Like, sorry that's not going to cut it. Still trying to fill the shoes. Still trying to fill the shoes. You know, Julianna Rantic left a gaping hole in media.
Starting point is 00:56:22 She loves some big shoes to fill. Are you okay? Don't hurt your back. Don't hurt your back. She loves some big shoes. Some big shoes. Absolutely. And Ryan Cigris loves some little ones. Funny. Cracking. Like things I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:56:42 I think she has like Shalom Bai. I think this is exciting for her podcast. It's crazy to Jerry O'Connell who's like the most famous nice guy. Yeah, very affable. Everybody loves him. Everybody loves him. But it turns out 20 years ago he was kind of a cheating douchebag nightmare. Well, I just feel like that should be inspiration to cheating douchebag nightmares everywhere.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Like you can too grow up to become a nice guy. and the women who love them. However, yours probably won't change. Oh, yeah. Don't let Jerry O'Connor fool you. You know? He's not going to change. He's the exception.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Not the rule. Absolutely. So stay tuned. I look forward to People Magazine recapping that. Recapping the podcast, yeah. Yeah. Our fifth and final story, a little casting biopic news. Come on.
Starting point is 00:57:24 Tom Holland. Zenduea's boyfriend. Yeah. Is filming Fred Astaire Biopic next and plans to do all of the dancing himself. self. Okay. I'm going to need like a quick briefer on Fred Astaire. Fred Astaire. You know Fred Astaire. No, that's why I asked for the briefer. He's like that acting, dancing guy from like the 50s. Let's get his official file. What's he in that I've seen? I want to say singing in the rain. Oh my God. I was going to say that too or like guys and dolls.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Okay. He was in. He's an American actor, singer, dancer, choreographer, and presenter. Does Tom Holland sing? I don't know. They are booked and busy, though. So, too. Like, it's actually crazy. What are the odds? Like, genuinely the most popular, famous actress is married to, like, the most popular famous actor of their time. Like, they're both going to grow up to be, like, Brad and Angelina.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Hopefully not. But, like, hopefully not. But I mean, in terms of career. Um, so he was in top hat, funny face. Swing time. Yeah, I think he's a swing king. I think he's like a swing dancer. Yeah, for sure. Easter parade. You know, he, he started with Ginger Rogers. I don't know. I feel like a biopic.
Starting point is 00:58:33 for a man. It's like a very hit or miss. Sometimes it like makes a great actor and sometimes like I think it ruins a career. Oh, interesting. Like Austin Butler never like completely fell off after Elvis. Fell off from where though. Like he was literally he was like this. No, he was not.
Starting point is 00:58:50 Yes he was. He was like this. No. With a little. With a small peak for Carrie Diaries. He was on the up and up. And did he ever work after that? It was.
Starting point is 00:58:58 It was shocking that he got the part. Yeah. But so the fact that he did like that means like you're chosen like what's next for you okay i actually think austin butler is like having success as an actor we just refuse to see it no i'm telling you he's gonna and he's gonna be playing like norman bates american psycho he's gonna gonna gonna gonna no i haven't i just like i feel like we have like a blockage you know and we can't like we act because we think so i don't know jeremy ellen white being like bruce springsteen people hated i personally hated timothy shallamay as bob dillan
Starting point is 00:59:24 like i i don't know rami malick as that was a make or break and he make yeah Taran Egerton, make. Joaquin Phoenix, Johnny Cash, Make. Yeah. It's just a little, I think it's like a little risky sometimes, honestly. But I don't think so because even if it doesn't like make you,
Starting point is 00:59:45 like it's good quality work and like it's fine. Sometimes I feel like it backfires. I think it's like safe. Oh, I don't. I think it's safe. And then you're like comparing to like who you're playing, you know. And also I feel like this will be like a cute. it'll be like a cool setting for a movie you know the swing and uh it's based in oh my god he was born in
Starting point is 01:00:05 1890 not you're saying tom holland i'm like no he wasn't obviously like his careers in the 1900s but he was born in the 1800s that's really spooky that is crazy that's like what they probably are going to start saying about us soon like we were born in the 1900s is that that is what they're going to say about us in a hundred years oh i feel sick lest we not judge so true he had a long dancing partnership with ginger rogers i wonder who will play she They literally cast Zendaya and everything that they do. So, like, sure. We're out making Zendaya.
Starting point is 01:00:33 So cute. You know, did you see the Hollywood reporters, like, or variety? One of them is getting shit because they wrote up a thing on The Odyssey, like, ranking the performances of all the actors. No. Yeah. And they put Tom Holland's 17th, like, dead last. Oh, he's in it? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:46 And Zendaya. Oh. Is that crazy? I don't know. Everyone's in the Odyssey, I guess. You think? You think? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:52 Oh, and then Anne Hathaway was talking about working with Christopher Nolan again. again what was she in with him the first time Robert Pattinson was in it with him once before everyone's in this movie you're naming people I'm like Are you not following the press? No, because I'm not on TikTok so I don't get served When did Anne Hathaway first work with Christopher Nolan?
Starting point is 01:01:10 You like just see them all day long I do and they say clips of their interviews Is Flaj doing interviews? Oh Dark Night Rises She was in that I didn't know that She was Catwoman Is Flaj doing interviews? Who's Flaug?
Starting point is 01:01:23 You know Flaj That woman who like with Blake lively If I'm a celebrity and I'm an actress I'm keeping Flaugge the fuck away for me And Flage also like has beef with Anne Hathaway too But Ann Hathaway apologized She apologized
Starting point is 01:01:37 She was not going down to Blake Lively Waddley You guys know she's like Dutch She's a international reporter who like is obviously like very She's sort of the Julianna Ransick of her country Of the Netherlands Because any time a actress or actor
Starting point is 01:01:53 Does press She's there representing like the Netherlands media community. And she, like, has all this archival footage. Remember she had that video of Blake lively, but she was like, oh, your bump looks so great. Blake was like, your bump looks crazy. That was fucking crazy.
Starting point is 01:02:05 And then that video went so viral. Literally started the Blake lively cancellation hate train, like, literally. And then she was, like, trying to make lightning strike twice. So she had this, like, nasty video of Anne Hathaway from, like, years ago. It came out and, like, people were starting. And Anne Hathaway just got back at the Good Graces of America. She's not going back.
Starting point is 01:02:20 So she, like, reached out to the woman, like, sent her a million dollars, got her a gift. And, like, it was diffused. Yeah. So just know, like, if I'm ever in a film, she's on the no-fly list. You're skipping press day with Fodge? A thousand percent.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Yeah. I'm calling in sick that day. Yeah, one thousand percent. Well, those are the past five stories. I don't feel like me need to do Queenie and Weenie because I already said mine. Yeah. You have any thoughts? Cop out.
Starting point is 01:02:44 Oh, fine. Let's do Queenie and Wheat. Well, no, like, we didn't. No, Dumas is my queen and my weenie. Like, I'm sorry, you have to read her comment section. She's fighting for her fucking life, but she's actually, like, eating people up. but when I saw that thing the other day like oh,
Starting point is 01:02:55 Nicola's your workup, here's everything I've gotten and not posted. Like, thanks. I wonder if, like, if she does that with other people too, like, would she post a cheating rumor about someone?
Starting point is 01:03:06 I don't know. I don't know what the ethics of Dumas are. I don't think, like, thinking back, like, I don't think she's ever posted, like,
Starting point is 01:03:12 cheating rumors. I think, like, back in the day, she had, like, a lot less to lose. And she was just, like, sort of posting
Starting point is 01:03:17 whatever came her way. And I do think that she's probably gotten, like, a substantial amount of, like, threatening legal notices, cease indesis. So she's definitely more careful. And her content has suffered because of it.
Starting point is 01:03:25 But now she's like a full on media company. So she has more to lose and she's like acting. And you don't just like post like baseless cheating rumors that someone messaged you. Right. Unless you have like hard proof. Like seems like he doesn't want to be around a Landry. Like how do you even know that? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:37 Like we're just making up things based on vibes now. That's not appropriate. And that's not what a media person does. Yeah. But I just think like the whole. Yeah. It was Queenie and Weenie. I understand.
Starting point is 01:03:48 Everyone. hope you have an amazing weekend. Thank you so much for a great week of Tirst and we'll see on the next one. Thank you so much.
