Starting point is 00:00:09 It's Jackson, Claude and every show the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off, swirly. It's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Thursday that does feel like a Friday because today is our final episode of the week. Tomorrow is June 10th. And so today is the final day.
Starting point is 00:00:35 So if you've got something to say, if you've got something to say, say it. I will say it, co-jointed. Jurna Frederick. Okay. Frederick, I'll say it. Say it. And you know, I get the sense that you've been wanting to say it. Oh.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Oh, no. I'm literally coming into the show like Bling Slate. Like mind cleared. Nothing on my mind. I have so much on my mind. But that's just sort of what happens when you are like a woman of a certain intellect. Don't you find? Yes, I do find what's on your mind, Cochernet.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Share. Everything. Like everything. Last night was my one night off from Love Island. And like I didn't make the most of it. Oh, I need the most of it. I went out to dinner like a two and a half hour dinner. And I got home like around the same time I'd be wrapping up Love Island. And that is how I spent my night off. And it was like I wanted to see my friend and I literally told her I can only go to dinner like Wednesday and Saturday. But like Wednesday's better for me. I'm already wearing makeup from work. So we made it work. And you know what? It was really great to see my friend and to have a friend and to have a life. And I'll be. back at the television for the next six nights. It's nice to have a friend. I can have a friend once a week. Once a week. And that's kind of my max.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Yeah. So I made the most. You didn't make the most? No, I didn't. Like things just sort of got away from me. I've been really kind of like nutty about my wake windows. I find that if the second wake window is not five hours. You are that girl.
Starting point is 00:02:09 That creator. What's her name? I just followed her. She's my new favorite creator. I just followed her too. Oh my God. I actually laugh out loud. At her stop. Log it in the app. Yeah, the login in the app girl. That's her name.
Starting point is 00:02:25 Yeah, her name is, hold on. I just followed her on TikTok like yesterday. Deborah Quech Gilbert. If you are mother, you have to follow her. If you're, you know, if you like comedy, you have to follow her. But like you will seriously relate if you're a mom. It's tears in my eyes. Yes, it's true.
Starting point is 00:02:41 So I am the logging in the app girl. I just like kind of really need my second wake window to be five hours because then I get to sleep till 7.30. Like that's just sort of so when you wake up late from a nap, like we didn't go to bed until 7.30. So then it was just sort of like already deep into the night at 7.30. And then like the sushi we ordered like was at the restaurant but the career wasn't there. It was just like drama. By the time I ate dinner, it was like nine o'clock. It was time for bed.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Like I didn't do anything productive. I didn't watch anything. I didn't read anything. I just like rotted and waited for my food. It was just like a bad use of my time. I'm sorry. that happens. I hate it.
Starting point is 00:03:13 It was upsetting. I'm very sorry. Maybe next Wednesday. You'll have better luck out there. Yeah. I did actually, that's not true. I watched one thing. I watched Emily Kaiser on Jay Shetty.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Not the whole thing yet. I just want to say, because I don't feel like it gets said enough, that I would lay my life out for Emily Kaiser. I love her so much. She, it like shocks me every time someone reminds me that she's 27.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Wow. And that when her, when that incident with her son occurred, she was 25. Like, that's insane. It's also insane and it really speaks to like the evil nature of internet and I'm sorry, mainly women. That like she's somebody who gets hate. Yeah. You know, even the comments like they're overwhelmingly positive. But like the fact that there is a person on this earth who could find one
Starting point is 00:03:56 negative thing to say about Emily Kaiser and what she went through. Like it's it really speaks to like the evil of human nature. Like there are such evil people out there. I think she's so well spoken in the interview. And I thought Jay Shetty did an amazing job. Like it's a, it's a, it's a tough interview to conduct. It was just, like, it's heartbreaking. And she's so mature. She just says things and I'm like, oh my God. Because I think a big question is like, you know, this incident with her son happened
Starting point is 00:04:22 while she was out of the house. Like, how do you forgive your husband? Yeah, I saw this clip. And all the comments are like, if that was my husband, it's a girl, shut the fuck up. Like, seriously, shut the fuck up. I'm about to choke someone in the comment. And I think you think like if that was your husband, like you don't know how you could ever forgive them.
Starting point is 00:04:35 And she explains how like she went through all of those feelings. Yeah, but she also said like this was a preventable accident. Like it literally could have been her. Like that it happened to. And she was like, I'm trying to give him the forgiveness that I would so badly want him to have given me if it was me in this situation versus him.
Starting point is 00:04:52 And it's just like, that's literally a 27 year old girl. Like it's just insane to think about her level of maturity and what she's been through and how she's handled the whole thing. And like, and coming back,
Starting point is 00:05:00 she has to work. So like still making content. Like, it's insane when you think about her age. And I thought the interview was excellent. And I love her so much. And I will seriously defend her. always like she's my number one and she's also my comfort creator like yeah and it's like when we were
Starting point is 00:05:15 talking yesterday on the toast about like doing the dishes like that's her I love her I know I know and it's like aside from the fact like who could have something negative to say to a person who's like grieving and so heartbroken but it's like even before all of that like her content is just like pargy and lovely and like really what negative thing would you have to say about any of that and people find a way they do it's the whole situation has really spoken to how all awful. Like even when the situation was unfolding and we weren't entirely sure if this situation was about Emily. People were showing up at her house, you know, going to the city hall, trying to unsealed documents, like just genuine evil walks among us. And this was a chilling reminder of that.
Starting point is 00:05:59 And I just love her. Like I will like seriously protect her at all costs. Yeah. Yeah. That's what I did last night. No, I've been seeing clips from in. Everyone is like sharing that it was just so amazing. It was amazing. Like it was amazing. Yeah, that's a really great like place to go and share. I don't know if I knew that. Did they announce it or anything or not until like the day before. Got it.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Okay. Yeah, I didn't know that. And I, yeah, it's a perfect place. He's so good. Yeah. Did you see he just signed a huge deal with Netflix? I saw. And he brought a tear out of turdy.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Don't forget. Oh, well, 100%. I, yes, I also went on Jay Shadding. Yeah. And I cried the whole time. I was pregnant. Not that I probably, I probably would have cried regardless.
Starting point is 00:06:45 You do this podcast every day. You do this podcast every day. You don't cry every day when you're pregnant. I do cry a lot. Either from laughing or crying. I guess you, I guess you have cried. I wouldn't say you cry a lot.
Starting point is 00:06:57 No, I've probably cried on this podcast. Are we talking about like crying from laughter or no? No, no, no. I've probably cried like 10 times. Over eight years. No, that's so that's not a lot. No, it's not.
Starting point is 00:07:08 It's not. but I did cry on Jay Shetty. That's what he does. He talks about like the hard stuff. And I was also pregnant. Yeah. I want credit for that. No,
Starting point is 00:07:15 but it was a very revelatory episode. Not to make it like about. No, I would never. I did it. It was me. I did it. I made it about it.
Starting point is 00:07:22 It was her. Mamas get her. Well, we have some other podcasting news today. The podcasts are making news while Lov Island took a night off. Yeah. Olivia Wilde on Call Her Daddy.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Mentioning it all. Mentioning it all. Yeah. Love Island up being on was lovely, although I did miss my peeps. I know, I was thinking a little bit, like I was having a little bit of withdrawal. Like, it's good, but it's bad, you know? Yeah. It's good, but it's bad.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Yeah, we could say that. We could say it. And we are committed to watching it. I've gotten to like a good routine method. So, like, people who are like, keep watching or stop watching, like, I'm keeping watching until further notice. Same. What else does it do with you, Jacks? You're wearing all pink.
Starting point is 00:08:10 You're looking like a little balleriner today. Thank you so much in honor of ballerina farm. What's new with me? I've got as pargy loaf started this morning. I'm happy to say that the starter is rising. She has risen. Oh, yes. And I made a loaf a couple days ago with my new starter.
Starting point is 00:08:24 That is like, you know, my relative but distant relative. And we are getting closer. The loaf was pargy. It always is. Thank you. And I've got one going again today. So I'm in loaf mode. you know.
Starting point is 00:08:37 Oh yeah. Rise and grind. Literally. So glad to hear. Yeah. The starter. Yeah. The starters come full circle.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Okay. Never mind. I actually did watch something last night. I watched. And you know, I have this like toxic relationship with this show four seasons. I've seen it. The first season.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Oh, did you? Mm-hmm. The second season is out. I'll tell you I like this show so much. Like it's so not me. It is hysterical. Like, it's very rare that I watch a show and I actually like laugh out loud. But there's so many,
Starting point is 00:09:05 the writing on the show. this show is excellent. I was like cracking up at multiple like just conversations. It's such a good show. I'm into spring. So I'm in season number two. I really like it. It also reminds me of postpartum because that's when I watched it the first time. It was like such a sweet little show. I really like it. Why do you feel like it's not popular? It's like Tina Faye. I don't know. It just feels not me. It's also not. It's kind of like a show for boomers. I don't think so because that's not the demo of like the people like Coleman Domingo. Yes. It's it's a much, It's an older show.
Starting point is 00:09:37 And Coleman Domingo, by the day, is the star of the show. He's seriously, so fucking funny. I don't know if I've ever seen him in anything comedic. Like in Euphoria. He's kind of like serious. Oh my God, hysterical.
Starting point is 00:09:45 I'm always cracking up at him and his husband. I think the show gears more towards like an older gen. And I never see anyone talking about it. Like, is it popular? I think that it is. What's that viral clip that's like,
Starting point is 00:09:58 I'm looking, oh, from Lizzie McGuire premiere of the Little Brother. I'm looking forward to cracking up. Cracking up. That's what I mean when I'm sat for four seasons. I think I'm looking forward to cracking up. That's me every day. I'm constantly cracking and or looking forward to cracking.
Starting point is 00:10:16 It's one of my favorite activities, cracking up. And when I, and I feel like a lot of times you say lull or LMFAO and like you're over exaggerating, not me. When I'm cracking, I'm cracking. Yeah, I see you. I see you. I'm cracking up, our new favorite acronym. we invented. I'm looking forward to cracking out.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I really am. It's one of my favorite. Like my hobbies include cracking up. I agree wholeheartedly. Not my sister Olivia calling me. Oh, pick up. Tell her she's live. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Let's get a new mama update. Oh my God. She's so funny. She's right. I'm cracking up. Oh, she's like, I realize you're recording. But I reposted something really weird on TikTok and she was like you might want to unrepose this.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Tell us what it is. I didn't repost this. It's like, okay. Maybe she's like doing a prank. No, no, she's right. What was it? Thank you. What was it?
Starting point is 00:11:19 It was like low-key politics. Like, I'm not getting involved. Politics. Claudia. I'm not even involved in. Like, oh my God. Rale. No, no, it was just like drama.
Starting point is 00:11:31 What's a drama? I'll tell you about it later. If you saw me repost that, you guys, it was an accident. I need to know what it was. I was thinking like, who the fuck is calling me? Everybody knows. I never get calls during the toast.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Everyone in my life knows. Do not look for me before noon. No, and I'm on do not disturb. And then yesterday, it was like three o'clock. And I just happened to see I had a miss call while we were doing the toast from someone who doesn't know me like that. And I was like, oh my gosh, I have to call this individual back. It was very important.
Starting point is 00:11:57 And I got a hold of her. But like I could have missed that. Have I talked about Drizzalicious here on this pod? Yeah, we talk about it a lot. Oh, do we? Okay, Drizzlicious is like having a national moment. I don't know where the fuck it came from, but I just found out it's a Jewish-owned brand.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Sly. I mean, of course, Licious. I should do a sponsorship with them. Lish. I just want to put it out there that I would like to do a collaborative flavor. So the bodega by my house is obviously like a supplier because they have every flavor. No, the amount of shelf basis brand gets. And even before it like this big renaissance, like it just showed up one day and it took over the shelves.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Like at public, like you had no choice but to buy it. and I'm glad because I love it, but like we did not have a choice. Yeah, remember when everybody one day just like showed up wearing the bar sweatshirts? And I was like, where, who, what, when, that's how I feel about Jizzolicious. It's everywhere. But it's everywhere for a reason. In my mahjong group, when we play, everybody brings a new flavor. So yesterday we did birthday cake, which I loved.
Starting point is 00:12:56 And then I bought some, like at my bodega for my house. We've done cinnamon swirl. I need to try. We just brought home chocolate strawberry, which I'm a little suspicious. about. I've only had one flavor that's legit bad and it's the lemon. But somebody at Majong was like, have you guys had the lemon? It's the best. I'm like, oh, you're disgusting.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You're not invited back. It's so personal. It is, but I feel like that's pretty objective. When you do a flavor with them, it should be called turtilish. Turtilicious. I seriously love Drizalicious so much. Turtilicious. Turtilicious. Okay, wait. We can do Drizellicious
Starting point is 00:13:28 X. And it's like a really chocolate flavor. It's like chocolate. That's great. They'll love that. I love Drizellicious. I wish I meant it myself. I dream of Drizellicious. That's so crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:44 I know. Well, the place looks great. Let's get into the stories. Yeah, we've got a lot to do today. We've got to wrap up the week in a pargy manner. Starting point is 00:20:50 for $20 off. Resort Pass, the day is yours. Thank you, Turt Pass. You're welcome. Our first story aforementioned Olivia Wilde on Call Her Daddy. She is addressing the Don't Worry Darling drama, her divorce, her relationship with Harold Stiles. I also think that this interview is like, I'm back. I didn't know she left.
Starting point is 00:21:15 But yeah, I guess she has been relatively quiet. She has been quiet. I guess she has a new movie coming out. directing or starring? Probably directing and starring. Doesn't she do both? She's so funny to me. Like, she kind of, I kind of, like, missed her.
Starting point is 00:21:29 She has, like, a lot of guys, like, dream girl. Like, I don't really know where she came from. I don't. The OC. Yeah, yeah. I just kind of, like, she sort of passed me by. Mm-hmm. In terms of fandom.
Starting point is 00:21:43 But people are obsessed with her. Well, then she sort of took a left turn. Yes. And I think there was a lot. She's a good guest for Call Her Daddy because she's like a lot of things to talk about. She's got a lot of explaining to do. She does.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Her public divorce, which was just so crazy. Like the rumors about the nanny, laying in front of the car, the divorce papers on stage, which she talked about on the podcast. The movie. That felt like a real movie.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Of course, the Harry Styles relationship. And then the movie, Shia, Shia, Shia, Shia. Miss Flo. When I talk about, like insufferable, like feminine female females like feminist fake feminists I'm always like low key talking about
Starting point is 00:22:26 Olivia Wilde like she's the example in my head that I use for just like insufferable women talking about women who are actually like not those types I think about like Emily Radikowski too I think of them in the same bucket so I'm really not like her number one fan I do think the interview was good for her she came across really likable and honest yeah obviously the most important thing is her relationship with Harry Stiles. And what I wish she had just said as like a big fuck you to everyone. Because Alex is like, I mean like, I can't believe.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Like why everyone? And it's like, well, they're just jealous. Like we wouldn't just acknowledge the jealousy thing. First of all, younger girls are jealous because it's like, this is my guy. Who are you? Older women are jealous. You're living my fantasy. Like the element of jealousy didn't come up in the conversation and I wish it did because like that was the whole thing. No, and also
Starting point is 00:23:12 just like they love Harry. That's not who they wanted to see him with. Well, she did say, talk about the parasol social relationship his fans have and she was very um particular about her wording because she knows you know she's been she's seen their wrath and i don't think she wanted to feel it again but there are a lot of mentally ills in that it is can border on being a toxic sand community and so i do feel for her that could not have been easy honestly it's the idea of you it's literally that book well yeah that was based on them right what came first came out before the book came out first it was
Starting point is 00:23:48 art, no, it was life imitating art. It was kind of spooky how similar it was. Yeah. Oh, that's crazy. Well, she talks about a lot. She talked about the, Don't worry, darling drama, which was the craziest drama of its year.
Starting point is 00:24:01 She talked about how it was COVID, so everything was already, like, upside down. I think it was like 2020. The film came out in 2020. I mean, COVID went on, when did it end? I'm sorry. That's not COVID. Actually, I think it was, I think it was like Omnicrom.
Starting point is 00:24:16 No, I'm sorry. When we blamed COVID for things, You get 2020 and 2021. That's it. But when was Omni? Yeah, but Omni Cramp? People were like, we were out. Like, we were being more careful,
Starting point is 00:24:28 but like everyone was out. Not everyone. I'm talking about being jailed. Like, that's COVID. Oh, you know what? I felt on a rabbit hole today. Are you familiar? The Redhead's covering like the Amy Griffin drama.
Starting point is 00:24:39 Who's that? So Amy Griffin wrote a book. Yes, a memoir, but then her classmate said this happened to me. So it's a memoir about like discovering that she had been sexually. assaulted as a child only because she did MDMA and the memories came back to her. Like she had no memory of it. And then a former schoolmate of hers was like, excuse me,
Starting point is 00:24:57 this happened to me. It's like a Jane Doe lawsuit. She was like, what the hell are you talking about? New York Times did like a whole investigation like supporting the Jane Doe's claim. Now the author's hitting back and you know what? I'm just on the side of whoever's telling me their story because I was listening to like somebody break down Amy Griffin's version and I'm like, oh, I believe you. So I'm not a hundred. It's kind of a crazy saga. I need a movie about the saga to explain it to me fully. And what did Amy Griffin say in her defense? She poked a lot of holes in Jane Doe's proof,
Starting point is 00:25:24 making Jane Doe actually look completely like a liar. I don't know. She was also coming for the New York Times, saying the New York Times was like a little chatein their investigation, which I do believe as well. So it's kind of a saga I'm not 100% kept up on. Yeah, I think you would also have to read the book. Yeah, no, I didn't read any of it.
Starting point is 00:25:44 It was a bell burdens of its time, like on a smaller scale. It was like the It book last year. Last year. I wasn't reading last year. She was like the darling of literacy. And then this former classmate is like, excuse me, you stole. This is my trauma. Like, and it is very new.
Starting point is 00:26:00 Is it possible that it happened to both of them? So I think Amy Griffin is alleging. Like it also happened to me. Yeah. And who did it? And Amy Griffiths. Like what happened? Oh, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. Well, back to this story. Sorry, yeah. Olivia Wilde's talking about all the drama I mean that was the biggest story of its time Yeah I was It was a little bit of COVID
Starting point is 00:26:22 She said I've never felt more disconnected From the person that people were talking about It's also very strange to see complete fiction traded as fact There was all this public madness But my private light was very far from it And very actually kind of wholesome and sweet I had a lot of real joy and happiness during that time
Starting point is 00:26:37 It was like the tornado was right outside the door And if you were inside you were like it's so nice Then you'd open the door and a fucking cow And a tractor would fly by So I guess she's talking about like in her relationship with Harry at the time she was in a happy place because they were together. And, you know, she's saying it was just like very misconstrued. And she wanted to be like, can I just talk to people?
Starting point is 00:26:55 Can I go and say like that's not true? And it was like, no, that won't help. And that was really hard. And now she sort of feels like she should have shared that at the time. She says, I think that in my own attempt to be strong and to kind of like rise above it, it came off as inauthentic. Okay. Like, I don't really care about any element of this besides Shia.
Starting point is 00:27:15 shy ya, shy yeah, because all of the drama up until that point that could be explained away, but it was, I feel very detrimental to her image because it was so incongruous with this, The Future is Female Girl Boss, but you're bringing in a predator and begging him to come work on your movie even though your star, Flo, Miss Flo, has asked you not to, and you're now caught on video begging this really abusive, ill actor to come on your movie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Yeah, so it's like, I was she, so she's on the show, like, saying it's not true, but like there are things that we know as fact. But what's not, what is not true? Oh, that like, you know, the narrative that like everyone was fighting on the movie that Florence, you know, had to produce herself because Olivia's off with Harry and like. Yeah, I want to say, I don't believe that that was the case. But here are the things that are true, the video, the of her, the fact that Florence did not promote the movie, there was obviously a schism.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Did Chris Pine spit on Harry Styles? I don't think he did. So, but like, can you address that? That was such a crazy time. Yeah, I feel like she went into detail on a lot of stuff, except this. She spoke very generally about it. And it's like, well, I would like to know more.
Starting point is 00:28:31 To me, the only thing she's really guilty of is the Shia thing. And that's a big thing. And I feel like it was very damaging. Like, she was a lot of like a lot of swirlies, like, number one girl boss, inspiring female director. And it's like, here you are.
Starting point is 00:28:43 being awful. So she didn't really talk about that part, which to me was the most damning part of the whole saga. Yes, the spitting, Miss Flo, having sex on set. But like, no, the Shaya thing. There were so many, like, iconic things that came out of this saga. Shaya, Shaya, Shia, Shia, a movie that feels like a real movie. Movie, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:02 Even when she addressed the rumors, she said as far as for the endless tabloid gossip and all the noise out there, I mean, the internet feeds itself. I don't feel the need to contribute. I think it's sufficiently well nourished. Okay. Yeah, we're getting back to like that inseparable female girl boss. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:29:24 But this is a good get for Alex. Yeah, no, it's a good interview on both their parts. I think a good interview in general is like someone who has been talked about a lot, misunderstood in some ways who's ready to like speak their mind and let people, you know, take it or leave it. Yeah, she has had so many arcs in her. career because she was also talking on the podcast about how she was at one point Maxim Hot 100 number one girl and it's like oh yeah that was like I think on the heels of the
Starting point is 00:29:52 OC and that's why she's like so many guys like dream girl yeah because she is also that yeah now she's like girl boss director but the maximum to girl boss pipeline I guess is a thing I do think that it's a thing because you get like so objectified yeah and like sexualizing you're like don't look at me look at the work yeah and so you're like off camera because you want to show everyone the work. What's inside. Don't look at me, but I'm going to start in the movie. But I'm not filming.
Starting point is 00:30:22 But she's not filming. Right. She talked about getting the divorce papers served to her on stage, like, and how shocking that was. She said that Jason Sadeke is like to this day swears that he did not tell the lawyers to do that. And she says, like, I do know that lawyers do get crazy. So for the sake, she said, I have to believe him.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Like, I didn't get the sense that she instinctually believes. to him, she was like, I have to believe him. Because if I think the alternative, like, it will ruin her life. Yeah. I don't know these people, but I guess I just, like, believe people, you know? Yeah. Until you give me a reason not to. She thought she was in the clear because, like, while it was humiliating, it was this,
Starting point is 00:31:01 like, corporate no phones event. So she was like, all right, that was humiliating, but like, it's in this room. By the time she's off stage, she's like, it was everywhere so much so that, like, a few weeks later she met Tom Cruise. Yeah. And he was like, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Yeah. And she, like, didn't realize that Tom Cruise had seen it. Yeah, that's how big it was. It really was huge. I forgot. I forget, like, there was a time we're on this show we were talking about Olivia Wilde every day. Yeah. Yeah. Crazy times. Crazy times. Anyway, enjoy the episode. Are you ready for our next story? Mm-hmm. Lindsay Hubbard is kind of coming for Miha. For Maha? But, like, Lindsay invented Mija.
Starting point is 00:31:42 I know. Lindsay was the one who like got, who started the whole thing with the horse hair time. Okay, it's all going down on threads. Lindsay is reacting to Sierra's. You know what? To Sierra, no, I have the screenshots.
Starting point is 00:31:51 You don't need to download threads. To Sierra's cryptic post. But Cluddy, even if you downloaded threads, like you might miss this. So it's fine. So she's reacting to, Sierra posted a crooked post
Starting point is 00:31:59 and now Lindsay's calling out Maha. So Sierra posted an image, like a chiff of like a girl like sort of seeming like exhausted by something. Okay. And Lindsay replied, assuming this is because, because Miha is telling you one thing and still talking to West on the phone every day.
Starting point is 00:32:18 Then someone else tweeted separately at like a Bravo account said, Miha and Wes talk for six hours post reunion, girl. And Miha responded saying, and if I want to yell at my ex for six hours straight, that's my God-given right. Oh, okay. So, you know, we posted a clip of our conversation for yesterday. Yeah. Talking about how that was like a low point of the episode and Sierra was really above that.
Starting point is 00:32:41 And I was a little afraid to post it. I know, I was actually surprised that we posted it. I know, because I just feel like, and rightfully so, like, we shouldn't be criticizing Sierra right now. She is the victim. And it's like, it was sort of, it was a very hot take. And I feel like if you say anything in Summerhouse discourse, that's not like, sleigh, slay, slay, Sierra, like you're the opposition.
Starting point is 00:33:02 So I was a little afraid. And I was shocked to see the comments, like, we're overwhelmingly agreeing with us. That like, it was just a bad look for Sierra. And that Miha is just kind of like, not the vibe. And so I think that the fact that the clip was so well received, it speaks to the general tone of like how the episode was received. And I think for the first time in this whole saga, it was the first time that Sierra got like something other than just unbridled support and love.
Starting point is 00:33:27 And so I don't know if that makes her hate, Mija or, but she like, I don't know, like she did sit there and like support everything she was saying, even though yeah, Miha, like, and Sierra are not the same. But Sierra posting that chip, like there was nothing to do with Meeha. and her posting that. It was Lindsay who made about mehah. Now maybe Lindsay knows more than we do. And she knows that that is about Maha.
Starting point is 00:33:48 But like I don't even think it's Sierra turning on Maha yet. I think it's just like Lindsay out of nowhere, just really calling it like she sees it. And I guess Lindsay's beyond the six hour conversation, which I can forgive a six hour conversation. Like listen, apparently had a year long relationship. It's coming to an end. The reunion was the final thing.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Six hours, let's get after it. Whatever. But Lindsay's saying that Mija is still talking to West on phone every day and saying that yesterday. Yeah. I fear that all of this is only sort of supporting and furthering the idea that Miha will be a new castmate on Southern's house. And.
Starting point is 00:34:25 But the more that Miha engages with the show, the more it's clear that she should not be on the show, but the show is taking it as like, oh, she's the storyline now. But like, no, she's the storyline. And the line is saying, no, no. because we felt that way other people felt that way I'm not seeing a lot of like love and interest and it's not even that I'm seeing hate for meha
Starting point is 00:34:47 I'm seeing a lot of disinterest and I said to you like Miha is the Dino of Summerhouse yeah like I care about what's happening on this show yeah agreed and also her storyline is very much still connected to West who has been fired so if we're not going to have West
Starting point is 00:35:06 if we're not going to have West on the show and here's a girl who's like whole thing is that she still wrapped up with Wes? Like that doesn't help. But I think probably the network and maybe some people would find it empowering that it's like he, you know, treated me how the way that he did. The network thought that that episode with Sierra would be empowering too and it fell flat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Yeah. I think, you know, the idea that like she, he kept her off the show. He didn't want to put her on the show. He kept her in the dark and now she took his job is like. And she, but like the fact, like I don't see it that way. But that's also just because I'm a critical thinker. On paper, it's an empowering story. In practice.
Starting point is 00:35:39 In practice, I'm not liking it. No, what we're not seeing on paper is like this person who willingly accepted, like, offensive behavior from her partner and thought that that was a relationship. And it's not. And the only pictures we have of you to are in bed was because he wouldn't let you out of the house. Like, he wouldn't be seen with you in public. Like, that's, that is, like, genuinely, like, one of the most hurtful and mean things a guy can do to you, like, not wanting to be seen with you.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Yeah. And I mean, I can understand how in the beginning, like a few months it's like we're keeping this under wraps it's just me and you like let's figure out what this is before we like let the world in but a year he never let the world in all of their pictures are indoors yeah there was like one that looked to be at a game or something but i'm sure it was like classic west with other people around too so it's like inconspicuous very sinister and what are we or they or someone like going to talk about west's grandma like what happened to that thank you when is someone going to talk about west's grandma thank you when is someone going to talk about
Starting point is 00:36:38 West's grandma and especially for the aftermath. For the aftermath episode that should have been included because I'm sorry his grandma was murdered by his cousin. The day that he filmed the reunion, that's relevant. Yeah, to your state of mind. How's that affecting him and maybe his relationship, like his, we need to talk about the grandma. Perhaps it can inform some of his behavior during the reunion.
Starting point is 00:37:09 and he was in a state of shock, like literally anything. No, and it's like maybe they don't want to complicate the storyline or maybe they don't want people to have any sympathy for West. But like, we are capable. We are capable of processing multiple emotions at once. It's relevant information. Sorry. And it's really the craziest story we ever heard.
Starting point is 00:37:28 It was almost crazier than the fact that Amanda and West even gave it a go. The cousin killed the grandma? Step grandma. Who raised him. The grandma who stepped up. Not the step grandma, the grandma who stepped up. She's the grandma who stepped up. Like I think she was grand.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Like in their lives. I thought it was like, I thought it was that grandma had passed away. And so this was just like the girlfriend. No, I don't think she was like a late in life girlfriend. I think it was like a long-term girlfriend. So not only have you lost the grandma who stepped up, but your cousin is a murderer. That's the real shocker. And if he's not that close with these people, just say that and we can move on.
Starting point is 00:38:08 but we need to address it. It hasn't been brought up once. And like I feel like collectively people have forgotten about it. I have not. I forgot. No, and then you reminded me and we need to discuss it. Yeah. But I guess that's a wrap on West Wilson.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Right. So we'll never hear about the grandma. But I need one of those true crime podcasts to do a deep die. Or his podcast? His podcast. Why doesn't he talk about it? Because he's too busy like being insufferable. No, he absolutely needs to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Even if it's just to say like why he's, he's not talking about it, like, why he doesn't want to talk about it. It's just be like, it's been very painful. I'm even more curious now because no one's talking about it. Yeah, even if he's like, it's very painful. It's an ongoing investigation. I can't talk about it, but it just meant like that it happened. Or did it even happen?
Starting point is 00:38:53 No, it did. Question mark. It's a really. So what did Sierra mean? With. By that Giff. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:06 But Lindsay took it upon herself to, you know, you know, I love Lindsay. Swipe at Meeha from the side. I love. But I'm shocked that Lindsay's not like team Meeha. I know, but Lindsay is a critical thinker. And so not everything is going to be just like all or nothing. All or nothing.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Like, okay, I can support you but also call you out when you're acting wrong. Yeah. Even in her conversation with Amanda, it was so layered in terms of like it wasn't just all hate, all criticism. There was a little support. There was support and love and tenderness while also. toughness. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:39:42 And we'd love to see that from our faves. We do. And at a certain point, like, I was looking for one person on this cast to show the tiniest bit of sympathy for Amanda. Like, she's still a human being who deserves, like, life. Yeah. Yeah. So while, yes, Meeha was treated wrongly by West for over a year and then ultimately cheated on and broken up by him, like, and I can have, you know, empathy for you.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Why are you talking to him every single day? continuing dormant behavior. And just her tone, well, yes, like, kind of admitting what she accepted was a bad look for her. Her tone of the whole thing wasn't giving mad. It wasn't giving over it. Not at all. It was getting, like, very much petty.
Starting point is 00:40:24 And it was not matured. That's what I meant when I said that it was very beneath Sierra. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Are you ready for our next story? Mm-hmm. Little Nick's News.
Starting point is 00:40:37 Oh, my God. The parade is happening right now. I heard, first of all I don't even know when it starts, but I heard that all the checkpoints were completely full by 6 a.m. I saw a video of people getting off on the subway station, not being able to go up the stairs. They're stuck in the subway station. Oh, my fucking nightmare.
Starting point is 00:40:55 Yeah, that's really crazy. The parade's happening today. Big news. Alicia Keys is set to close out the parade. Probably with the rendition of Empire. state of mind. That will be great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:13 Also, Ben Stiller is doing a NICs docu-series with A-24, HBO, and the NBA after the NICS championship win. So the series will chronicle the history, culture, and enduring legacy of the NICs, culminating with the franchise's first NBA championship in 53 years. So I love this. Like, I do think that the, really, the whole saga has felt like a story book ending. There's so much history. So explaining it to the world in a documentary form.
Starting point is 00:41:38 format with HBO is great. I think we knew this because Ben Stiller was like granted access for the last like a couple of weeks to the next playoffs. He was at every practice. He was like filming a lot of shit on his phone horizontally. So people knew that it was a documentary coming. And I just want to say like my level of interest in watching Ben Stiller's shaky horizontal iPhone content is a zero. Like I love this concept. I think Ben Stiller being attached to the project is brilliant. But like when it terms of, when it comes like actual footage captured by him and his backpack and his iPhone, like I'm good. I could I have TikTok, like I could do that on my own. Bring it a camera.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Yeah. He went on Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart's podcast. Oh, you're kidding. Called roommates. And he said, obviously, I've been shooting some stuff on my phone, but it's going to be all about all eras of the Knicks. And this team, obviously, there's a culmination here of something that's been going on for a long time.
Starting point is 00:42:28 It's super exciting. It's great to have had all this access to your team. We're going to probably be shooting a little bit more during next season. And I'm going to hit you guys up for some interviews. It's going to be over the next year that we'll be working on it. a lot of people have wanted to make it happen for a long time. Yeah, no, it's a story that I think, like, people might not understand, like, hopefully. So having, but I wonder why it's like Spike Lee, who's like an actual Oscar winning, like, director isn't attached to it.
Starting point is 00:42:52 I don't know, but I'm not complaining. But 824 is also on it. And so they're probably like the movie makers of this. It sort of reminds me of that Cowboys docu-series that we had watched that, like, it was just like the arc of the Cowboys. But it really, like, talked about their story, especially. in the 90s and their legacy and, you know, now they're like in a lel. But just mapping out the history and like the arc of the team. So I'm sure it will go from like, you know, the last championship till now.
Starting point is 00:43:19 And it just be like a lot more, even more history than Ben Stiller's iPhone footage. From your mouth to God's ears. Maybe they should have gotten Rick Burns. I mean, there are so many famous Nick fans. Like I'm sure Mariska Hargitay is doing the voiceover. Like just from. The first, like, just from Celebrity Row. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Just from Celebrity Row. They could put together like a mean cast and crew. Yeah. Tracy Morgan doing like stand up for the team, like a million things. Yeah, but I do hope it's like, it's quality. Same. The same. The way the Cowboys was was really quality.
Starting point is 00:43:58 The way like, you know, the New York Rick Byrne series like just like lots of archival footage. Yeah. And for everyone, like not just. not just like hardcore Knicks fans, like a real storytelling. Yeah, and I think it's probably obviously because they want it's a good time. But like so many of the players from the last championship that they won, like 19702, are still alive, like those Knicks legends and they like travel with the team and stuff. So like getting those stories on tape.
Starting point is 00:44:25 Yeah, yeah, yeah, like the Michael Irvin of the Knicks. That's like the Cowboys had documentary. I was like, I think you're saying Patrick Ewing. You said Patrick Ewing wrong. Like Walt Frazier. And Bill Bradley, yeah, that's right. I know the legends. Legends.
Starting point is 00:44:43 We will let. Oh, also a little more Nix snoo is that Timothy Shalame and Kylie, Jenner were spotted biking on city bikes. Oh, yeah, a little more Nix snoo. She's whipped. Yeah. She was city biking in ballet flats, which, like, is so crazy. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:00 I will say, like, city bikes are, like, image-wise, very cool. It's a well-maintained program. have here, like the bikes, I feel like a lot of times and you just leave a bike out in the street, like it becomes like an encampment. No, it's like very well maintained, it's secure. I wonder if like they did the one-time pass or if like Timothy has an annual. They're pretty clean given it's like
Starting point is 00:45:22 public. So like I think it's insane that Kylie's on a city bike. It's insane that she's on a city bike. But in the city like city bikes are very chic. It's the great equalizer. Like kind of the subway like every, oh, you see celebrities on the subway. Like it is the most effective way of getting around the city like Andy Cohen's on it every morning.
Starting point is 00:45:39 you can see celebrities on the subway. It's kind of the same goes for city bike. Like it looks crazy, but it's actually not. No, it's so crazy. And she could have had like, you know, a Schwinn delivered to her door if, like, she had the idea that she wanted to go biking. I think it's absolutely insane that she's on the city bike.
Starting point is 00:45:53 But like if you have a Schwinn. Because you know this was Timothy's idea. If you have a Schwinn, like, then you have to park the Schwinn. Like it's a lot. She started in the garbage. She's done. This was definitely Timothy's idea.
Starting point is 00:46:07 And I just want to say like, yes, I have city. as well so like Kylie and I have that in common. Where did you city bike to him? Was it your idea? It was, I don't know whose idea it was. Ben and I did it. It was when I was an NYU student, but I was like living uptown. So we were like should be city bike and we just like tried to get as much uptown as we could. It was like a beautiful day and we were like obviously on crack.
Starting point is 00:46:28 I've done it a couple of times. I don't like the thing where they have like a little area for your bag and there's like a strap that goes over it. It's not secure enough. Like if you have precious cargo like you really can't. Yeah like oh she she's wearing a mini bag, but she did put it in the basket. With, like, you see that, like, one little strap over it? It's not, it's not secure, in my opinion. No, no. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:46:48 She's so in love. Like, seriously. Belly flats? Like, I just know she has blisters. Yeah. Yeah, they do look cute, though. Well, they always do. I am, I am looking forward to seeing the Knicks parade, like, on TV.
Starting point is 00:47:01 I imagine it's amazing to be there, but I saw a girl who, like, literally got front row bleachers. She was there at 2.30 this morning. Like, it was a hair name Ben Saffer. Yeah, right. LifeHack is like having an apartment that like looks over the street where the parade is just all the way downtown like by City Hall. Yeah. It's actually like it's a lot of like public office buildings.
Starting point is 00:47:17 No, and it's like you would live there for 53 years before you get to see one morning. Right. Or you just wake up at 2.30 once and live wherever you want. I like that. That's a good trade. All right for our next story. If it's our next story that's brought you by Truvia.
Starting point is 00:47:37 It's trivia alulose plus Stevia Sweetener and. monk fruit sweetener. So with the familiar taste and performance of sugar, it helps making cutting back feel easier rather than restrictive. So it swaps in at a one-to-one ratio with sugar so you can use it confidently and view your favorite recipes with no adjustments needed. We are a trivia household. We have been for a year. Shout out to Jacks. She did put me on to trivia. And now this trivia plus stevia sweetener and monk fruit sweetener is so popular. It's so good. I love trivia. I'm like a real believer. And I love the ratios being equal because if you're going to swap something like I'm just like I need a low-lift swap. I need you to make my life easy. So if I'm out here with my measuring cup,
Starting point is 00:48:13 it's just not going to work. Well, no, it swaps in at a one-to-one ratio. And your calculator. Correct. It blends alulose with stevia sweetener and monkfruit sweetener. So it delivers a mellow, well-rounded sweetness, but without the sharp aftertaste. It's also very adaptable. So it works well in drinks and baked goods. I use it in my coffee. But it also does in sauces, savory meals. The trivia alulose plus stevia sweetener and monkfruit sweetener combines three complimentary sweeteners to create a sugar-like taste, but it has zero calories per serving. It's delish if you're looking for a swap. Highly recommend if you're a trivia household or not. I highly recommend becoming one. We're really big fans. And this new trivia alilus plus tibious sweetener
Starting point is 00:48:50 and monk fruit sweetener is parjolish. We love. We highly recommend whether it's, you know, I know you're in your baking era. Oh yeah. Let me make you a peach cobbler. I love to use zero low calorie sugar and truvia for my baking because then we can have like sweet treats all the time and we don't have to feel so bad. Let's talk to the single gals or really anyone who's ever been on a dating app and felt like they had to create a polished, you know, fake version of themselves just to keep up. Because nobody has energy for that at this point. If you don't want to invent a new personality for an app because you already have one,
Starting point is 00:50:45 we really like highly dating app. First of all, highly is an acronym. It stands for, hey, I like you. Because that level of honesty, I think feels really refreshing in the dating app space. What makes highly dating app different is that it's built for people who are over the whole pretending thing. You're not trying to seem cooler, funnier, or more mysterious than you actually are. you're just dating as yourself, which should be normal. It's not like a relevatory,
Starting point is 00:51:07 yeah, relevatory concept, but somehow it does feel groundbreaking in the modern dating era. Clearly people are responding to it. Highly dating app has been downloaded over 42 million times worldwide. It has hundreds of thousands of monthly active users and millions of matches happening every year.
Starting point is 00:51:23 It's also become one of the top five dating apps in the US App Store. We love that the app is very thoughtful. They're smart matching, learns your preferences based on interests, compatibility, who you like, who you skip. and it just gets better over time. They also have Ix and clicks,
Starting point is 00:51:34 which helps you check compatibility beyond just photos, and they offer major crush, which lets you make the first move without making it like into a whole event. Major bonus is that Highly Dating app has a consent guard, which blocks unsolicited inappropriate messages right away.
Starting point is 00:51:46 Again, something else that should be standard practice in the modern dating era, but sadly it is not. Download the highly dating app from the app store or Google Play or visit HILY.com, highly.com, and date as you are with the highly dating app.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Today's episode is also brought to you by built rewards. So whether you're paying rent, paying a mortgage, one of your biggest monthly expenses should be working harder for you. That's where built comes in. It's the membership for where you live that rewards you with points on every housing payment wherever you live. So of course, we've been talking about builds for a while.
Starting point is 00:52:13 I've been a built member for so long because I am a renter. We know that they reward members with points on their rent. But now, as of 2026, built members can also earn points on mortgage payments wherever they live. So every housing payment earns you points that you can use towards flights and top travel partners like United and Hyatt, lift rides, Amazon.com purchases, and so much more. Personally, I always redeem my built points for travel.
Starting point is 00:52:34 They have amazing travel partners like airlines and hotels. I am friends with Brian Kelly, the points guy, so I do know how to make my points go extra far. And I love my build points because I do pay rent every month. It sometimes can feel so frustrating to rent because you don't get anything in return until you become a built rewards member. Like your points can work for you. But one of the more underrated parts of built membership is getting access to the neighborhood
Starting point is 00:52:53 concierge where they can make restaurant reservations, book fitness classes, find new local spots, all while being rewarded at more than 45,000 merchant partners. So it's basically like having a personal system baked into where you live. It's very simple. Being a renter and now a homeowner is better with Bilt. Join the membership for where you live at joinbilt.com. That's J-O-I-N-B-I-L-T. com slash T-O-A-S-T.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Make sure to use that link so we know that you sent you. And just so you know the ways that you can redeem your bill points, rent credit, fitness classes like SoulCycle Barry's Pure Barcore power. Home delivery powered by GoPuff, the travel portal, Amazon.com, lift purchases, a million things. So head over to JoinBilt. That's J-O-I-N-B-I-T-com slash toast. Thank you, Sash Tert.
Starting point is 00:53:36 You're welcome. Our next story, Dancing with the Stars cast member announced. They have added Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez as a contestant for season 35. I love this. But yes, it's Giermo's time. Yes, Gierremo shall be the ender-Rictor of the season, I believe. A hundred percent. It is like very ABC Hulu-D-D-Sy synergy.
Starting point is 00:53:59 He is a star on ABC. It's Pargy. I'm so excited. Of course I love when they pluck like Influencer Reality stars, but I do like... A well-rounded cast. Yeah, and I love this. It's an unexpected choice. So who do we know so for?
Starting point is 00:54:15 Four. Rob Mora. Sierra. Guillermo. Savannah Bananas. Right. Five. His name is Jackson.
Starting point is 00:54:24 I think. Jackson Claude. Rod Stewart. that's who has got my vote. Do we know, Rob? I feel like we made that up. It's not confirmed. But Mora's confirmed.
Starting point is 00:54:37 Morris confirmed. Sierra's confirmed. Like, honestly, my vote is up for grabs. None of my like absolute faves are in. Like, I love Mora. I love Sierra. But like my number ones have not been cast yet. So like with last season,
Starting point is 00:54:50 it was like, well, Alex Earl has my vote. You know, it was kind of obvious. But we still have probably like 10 more people we're going to find out. Yeah. But you never can like guess who's going to be your fave Of course I fell for Andy Richter. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Who was I voting for? Let me check. Oh, yeah, my texts are like that. I need to search like Whitney. Whitney. Let's see. Oh, my God, I found it. Okay, I was voting for Andy and Jen,
Starting point is 00:55:22 Andy and Jen, Whitney, Alex. Oh, you were voting for Jen, your postpartum, like sister. Oh, and Elaine got a couple of my votes. Elaine, Elaine. Elaine, Elaine. Oh, I really liked her. announced athletes yet whether they usually pluck from like the major sports leagues the
Starting point is 00:55:38 Olympics maybe like a FIFA World Cup soccer star will like the someone from the American team maybe Brooklyn Beckham wait did you see part two no part two of the commercial was released there was no big reveal it was this it was the same thing he basically orders DoorDash and gives the stack of tickets which he had just thrown on the table he gives it to the driver and he's like leave them somewhere fun and I guess they're like giving away tickets that's the whole concept He's like, oh, I don't need him. It's like, yeah, because you're an unemployed slob. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:56:07 No, the... I'm wondering why I'm watching the Feeval World Cup 2026 from home. Not wondering. It's not like I don't have tickets. It's because the long story. For brother? Yes. These can go to someone else.
Starting point is 00:56:24 Put them somewhere fun. Why couldn't the driver have them? Oh, so the whole concept is that he's giving away his tickets because he doesn't want to with his family because he's disgusting and great. Yeah, so you're saying your family gave you tickets and you won't go. Because you won't be near your family so he's give them to someone else. But why can you give, why can the door-dash driver have them for him and his family? I want to say that at this present moment, there is nobody in modern media or culture
Starting point is 00:56:55 who I currently hold a lower opinion of than Brooklyn Beckham. He is the new. I was a little, I was on the bridge. I was on the fence. I was always team David. But I could understand him. I now have a severe dislike for him. He is Prince Harry.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Yes. Like what they've done is the same. And then like what they're doing is the same. Begging for privacy, privacy, uh, showing me your vagina. No, and like, stop. You can have a rift with your family. You can find them to be like toxic and it's not,
Starting point is 00:57:25 it's not the right environment for you and your feelings. To tell the whole world, like the dirty details of what happened between you all is so classless. monetize off of it. And especially at you're such a high level. It's not like you're some like Z-lister who needs to keep the wheel spinning. You're at such a high level. Your wife is a billionaire. You are a millionaire. Your parents, her parents, same with Megan and Harry. They have, you know, opportunities for days. You didn't need to do it. Yeah. And also the beckoms are, I don't even want to say A-list. There are an upper echelon of fame. They're very global.
Starting point is 00:58:02 he's, you know, knighted by the queen. Like, they're on the same level as at one point, like Harry and Megan, the Obama's, like, very upper echelot. So all in all, I've never disliked someone more. I, knowing that he doesn't need the money, a lot of times I can make more excuses for people who, like, need the money. Yes, no, it's what I'm saying, like, a zealish, you know, like a reality star who thrives off of this and it will pay for their next thing,
Starting point is 00:58:26 like, okay. But they have so much money. And it warmed my heart to, open up the comments and see everyone agreed with me tenfold. Like just the disrespect. They're hard people to dislike. Like sometimes, like, I think a lot of people with Harry and Megan were rooting for them in the beginning because, like, you could come up with a million reasons to dislike
Starting point is 00:58:44 the royal family, right? There's really not a lot you can dislike about the Beckham's. They're beloved in sports, in fashion, in music, in the UK and America. Like, people just love them. So to go out on your own and never give us a good reason and now, like, monetize it and you just look like a spoiled brat, no. No one, it's really hard to get people on your side here, Brooklyn. No, and to like, tell us the thing, some of the things that happened,
Starting point is 00:59:07 which were clearly the worst things that happened because you're trying to get us on your side. And it's like that your mother loves you so much and it did a dance at your wedding. And you didn't feel like it was special enough for you. Like, shut up. No, and also like everyone on a big and a small scale has like mother-in-law drama at their wedding. Like you leave it at the wedding. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:25 That's just what it is. Yeah. Sorry. Yeah. That's really crazy. I hate. hate him. What was the story that led into this? Guillermo.
Starting point is 00:59:35 Gierremo. Oh, yeah. Oh, so I don't know why I brought him up. Oh, because FIFA World Cup. Yeah, they're going to have athletes. What if they have Brooklyn Beckham? I'm telling you, like, that's the level that we're at. I mean, Megan and Harry could be on next. She's apparently... I mean, I can't ever trust the headlines, but, like, people are saying she's, like, really in, like, trouble because they have, like, $5 million worth of as-ever inventory
Starting point is 00:59:56 that's about to expire. Because it's like... Oh, I saw the as-ever inventory issue. it's possible although they were always selling out. So how do you have... Right, right. A lot of people fake sell out. A lot of people fake sell out so they can create demand
Starting point is 01:00:13 and then release it again. That's like a normal business practice. That's like a smart marketing strategy. Yeah, it's marketing. I don't know. Of all their like things, I don't think like as ever is going to be the thing that like, because also Netflix,
Starting point is 01:00:25 they had investors. Like I don't think as ever is going to be the thing that financially breaks them. Well, no, but like... I think maybe what's going to break them, is never fulfilling any of their commitments. I don't think this will financially break them, but like who's going to really take a chance on them again?
Starting point is 01:00:40 Yeah, all the inventories paid for and she has investors and this, I don't think. But like this is, if this goes down, like it is such a stain, add it to the list of stains. Well, yeah, it's not a bigger stain than anything else, but at some point they will have knocked down every door, whether it's, you know, partners to stream with people to invest. They're kind of running out of options.
Starting point is 01:00:59 But let me tell you. They did the Netflix. They did the Disney. I'm on the website. and the shit's parjee. The shit is parjee. I've gotten the jams there are so good. My husband devoured them.
Starting point is 01:01:11 It is insane that she cannot sell these things and it just speaks to like the lack of relationship she's established with any fan base that she's had. She did not cultivate. She did not move smart. I feel like after many years, she finally decided to like lean into the home space with the cooking show and then the products,
Starting point is 01:01:33 but it was so fast, it was so quick, we've got one season, here's my gems and my edible flowers. It should have been a long, slow roll, post-cooked, like over the course, over the course of years. That's, yeah. It was such a cash grab so clearly,
Starting point is 01:01:46 people did not respond to it because it was so, but we were just doing books. Like, it was just not cohesive. If she had over the course of many years, like started releasing like high-quality Instagram content, recipes, brought back the TIG, did more lifestyle, then did a show, then launched her brand.
Starting point is 01:02:00 it was like we went from one thing to the next. You were also doing confessions of a female founder while selling jam. Like it was so not cohesive. No, and like you're learning on the show so you're not an expert yet. Your show is like explaining to us that you don't know how to do anything.
Starting point is 01:02:13 Right. So why are we going to treat you like an expert? But I just want to say, I'm on the site, the complete as ever pantry box. So it's like one of everything. It's on sale and it looks really good. I kind of want to buy it. So here's what comes.
Starting point is 01:02:28 But save that apricot jam. Ben loved. Raspberry spread, orange marmalade, strawberry spread. Oh, that was it, orange marmalade. Honeys, lemon ginger tea. There's a candle. Edible flowers. I don't need her candle.
Starting point is 01:02:39 Flower sprinkles, of course. Lots of teas. You should buy it. I kind of want it, but is it like about to expire? It's good a call. Oh, she has chocolates. You have to buy it, like, just for the research. Maybe we'll do like an unboxing or something.
Starting point is 01:02:53 It's actually insane that this website looks so much like the Buckingham Palace Gifts Shop website. And it's like if you wanted to sell jams, like you could have, had a jam line over there. Yeah. The final jam. They are going back to the UK. I don't know if you saw big news they're taking the kids.
Starting point is 01:03:09 What are they doing there? I'm not sure what it was for, but it's like historic for them because I don't think they've brought the kids back yet. The last two or the only two times they've gone have been solo. Yeah, because of like security. Right. I didn't mean to like promote her products, but I'm feeling very influenced right now. Listen, cream rises.
Starting point is 01:03:29 And they have a bundle. or what you are. If your shit's good, your shit's good. They have a bundle called the go-to hostess gift. And so, like, now I want to get it for, like, the next time I go to someone's house. What an amazing gift. It's on sale for $132.
Starting point is 01:03:40 That's just kind of how I feel about Ben Platt. You know, the cream rises. Like, the shit's good. Like, yeah, but it's like everything here. She has everything that it takes to, like, you know, she has the branding. The website, the infrastructure, yeah. And the manufacturing and the production.
Starting point is 01:03:55 She's sort of the customers. Because it's like, this should be ballerina farm. Yeah, no, and if she had been more thoughtful about it, like from the get, just wanted to become like a, like a Martha Stewart, she just should have been more thoughtful. They were just so obvious in their cash grab, and I understand that they had needs, security, yada, yada, yada. It was not thoughtfully done.
Starting point is 01:04:17 No. She should like sell. And they are the definition of over-exposed. Yeah. But like, I don't know, the entity. Like they should sell it, like white label it to someone else. And give the keys to someone who could like turn it on. Someone else.
Starting point is 01:04:34 To turn the lights on. Someone else, you. Like it should be as ever Jacques, with, with love, folet. With love folet. I love that. I love that. Just somebody to think about. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 01:04:49 Me. What was the story? Oh, Brooklyn Beckham. Guillermo. That was the fourth story. It was sort of the fourth story. I do have another fifth one, which is like the rumors are starting to come out about what happening between jelly roll and bunny.
Starting point is 01:05:01 Oh my God, what are they saying? I haven't heard this. So behind the scenes, they're saying that it's due to changing lifestyles, which some of this does track based on what's going on in the public. Sources are saying some people around them felt there was growing tension as jelly has embraced a more faith-centered lifestyle while Bunny continued building the outspoken and provocative brand that had always been authentic to her. Whether that's fair or not, it became increasingly difficult to reconcile those two worlds.
Starting point is 01:05:25 The insider claims a lot of people want to point to one thing, but it was really a combination of issues that have been building for years. They came from similar worlds when they met and bonded over surviving difficult circumstances, but over time their lives started moving in different directions. Jelly has changed tremendously over the last few years. His focus shifted to his health, faith, family, and the long-term legacy he wants to leave behind.
Starting point is 01:05:46 Bunny, on the other hand, you know, just two days ago was sharing steamy photo of herself wearing satin lingerie with like her strap coming down and she captioned it. She's getting her sparkle back. The person said, Bunny has always unapologetically been herself. And while that's something Jelly's admired about her,
Starting point is 01:06:02 there were times when it felt like they were no longer aligned with where he saw his life heading or what he envisioned for the future. Also, she has opened up in January about how they were trying to have a baby via IVF. Yes. So there were difficult conversations about expanding their family, timing, and what they both wanted their future to look like. Those discussions became more complicated as his career continued to explode. You know what?
Starting point is 01:06:25 Actually, that does make sense. I did think that a lot of his like transition to like faith music content like felt a little performative in the sense that like he saw a space for himself like in the music industry and but it's good to know that that was just like a wrong feeling that I had and it actually is how he's changed in real life so much so that he can't even be with his wife anymore because she's like not on his level. I thought it was like a little bit of like a career move like a convenient position for him to take but good to know that that's wrong not true.
Starting point is 01:06:56 Yeah. Oh, I didn't, I don't think too hard about his like values, you know, because I'm just like, it always felt so corny. Like even when he made his speeches, like, just like very drama and I'm here because of the Lord. Like it was very like. Oh, interesting. Performing. And it was such a quick change. I was like, oh, you just like want to now be like he did a lot of music with Brandon. What's the same? Brandon Lake. Yeah. Hard for Fawn. Hallelujah. Yeah. Which was great. I thought it was just maybe like he saw success there. So he leaned more into it. But no, it's actually like a real change he's going through. Oh. interesting. I didn't like really know him before he became like this guy. So that's always like sort of what I saw him as. I just figured like the, the, um, enlightenment happened like after his incarceration and whatnot. He's just like been on this better. But also like it's evident that he's changing on his health. Like look at him. He's a different person and he probably is. He's doing five keys with 30. Like he has, you know, those sorts of things. People grow apart in that way. But it's really crazy to think about that they could like survive the craziest things, but not. just like a little, a little godly love him.
Starting point is 01:08:00 You know what's funny is that, like, jelly roll is, like, such a famous person who's gone through, like, such a dramatic weight loss, and there's been, like, no think pieces or discussions made about whether or not he used Ozempic. Like, I imagine that he did, right? It's just funny, like, nobody cares. Like, I think of, like, Lizzo.
Starting point is 01:08:16 Or, like, people who have lost as, we are always, did they, did they? They're so, like, especially for, like, women. Like, we're always obsessed with whether or not they did OZempic or weight loss surgery. Or how did they do it? Like, how did J.L. Earl do it? I'm sure he talked about it.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Like, I'm sure he, like, it's not a big discussion. Yeah. Let's see. Has he just, like, said he's on GLP ones and... I'm sure he is. Like, you're overweight your whole life and, like, only recently you lost weight. It's like, because there's this new amazing thing. And that's also, like, everyone who's always been, like, you know, extra 10 pounds,
Starting point is 01:08:46 like, who's all of a sudden, like, rail thin. Mm-hmm. GLP one, yeah. Katie Barry. That's a definition. She's always been fit. Yeah. But she's never been this skinny.
Starting point is 01:08:57 She's lean. She's not in one ounce of fat on her. So it's like, oh, what changed? Oh, so Jellyroll's approach to weight loss initially involved considering a GLP1 medication. But he ultimately decided to achieve his transformation naturally. Sure. I mean, that's like Chris Jenner saying I didn't like GLP1s, but I'm on a peptide. Well, peptides, I just saw the funniest tweet.
Starting point is 01:09:17 You know, they're selling peptides. Peptides are like about to become so bads market. They're selling them at bodegas. There was a bodega that had signed. Come get your peptides. What is a peptide? What the fuck is a pepestine? What the fuck is a peptides?
Starting point is 01:09:25 I don't know what it is, but like when I'm done having babies, like I'm going to be on every single one. Like right now I'm a little bit more particular about what I put in my body. Like there's a peptide for your skin for your hair. Like there's a what now? Wait, I just saw a TikTok. There's actually a peptide. Because, okay, wait, you're going to freak about this. What does that mean there's a peptide?
Starting point is 01:09:43 I think it means an injection. Okay, but why aren't we saying it's an injection? Because it made me, I think, don't quote me on this, it's a hormone. But also my Hallie Bieber lips are peptide. Right. Well, I heard there's a peptide, an injection that, like, causes a melanin production. So it's like instead of getting spray tans, you can actually produce more melanin in your skin. Because I saw TikTok being like, I thought there was like a bad spray tan epidemic,
Starting point is 01:10:08 but it turns out a lot of celebrities are now taking this peptide. I forgot the name of it to produce melanin. Very interesting. Anyone that we can look to? I don't want to say who that, because it was just speculation. But who are they speculating of a ledge? Ella Langley. That's funny.
Starting point is 01:10:29 Because if you look at pictures of celebrities in the past who were just like, you know, paler. And it's not a right to happen. Well, it could be, or it could be the peptide. That is very interesting. Yeah. But so, yeah, like, oh, so jelly roll's, like, not on GLP ones. But all I'm saying is, like, think about how many times we've, like,
Starting point is 01:10:46 thought and talked extensively about, like, a public weight loss. Even if they denied it, we're like, well, she's definitely on it. Like, nobody cares how jelly rolls losing it. Because like just men aren't really interesting to me. That's beautiful. Like personal. That's why I'm not asking. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:11:01 And men weight loss is not personally interesting to me because. Male weight loss is not interesting to me. Because it's so simple. It's like you eat less and you lose weight. But you still get to eat a lot. Yeah, right. With a woman is like you have three grapes in a day and you gain a pound. Like it's just, that's interesting.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Yeah. And I can't relate to male weight loss. I don't find it interesting and I don't care. That's why personally I'm harder on the women. If you were wondering like my bias. About you personally, yeah. Yeah. Though I don't feel like I'm harder on.
Starting point is 01:11:27 I don't feel like I'm hard on anyone. You know what's so funny is. Except for me. It's true. You keep your foot on her neck. Actually, it's funny because I did a Q&A yesterday and somebody asked me a question and it was so true because like we're sort of like, we're very desensitized now to Ozampic, but there was a time where it was like a witch hunt, right?
Starting point is 01:11:45 Like, and I remember I used to like live in fear that people would find me out. And it was like, girl, it couldn't be more obvious. Like you've been fat forever. But like, someone was like, do you feel resentful that like, Now people are on it all the time. It's like, we don't even question it. We don't like witch hunt. It's like so desensitized.
Starting point is 01:11:58 Whereas like when you were on it, it was like the speak she was like, do you feel resentful. And I was like, well, yeah, now that you put it that way I do. Like I'd never thought about it. But it's like the way we, even just now so casually I said like Katie Perry's probably on his epic. It used to be this like very hot button issue. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:12 Yeah. It's just deflated now. It's like, well, yeah, everyone's on it. Yeah. And the thing that people said was going to happen like did happen. Which is. everyone is super, super skinny. Like the body standard has really shifted.
Starting point is 01:12:27 The plus size movement is over. We are not body positive. Like we're losing weight. Like everything they said was going to happen because of Ozzympic did happen. But also like obese people are less obese. And like I think that's great. Yeah. Like people who clinically needed it.
Starting point is 01:12:41 Like yeah, we're all talking about like Ariana Grande. But like what about like the people. Jelly Roll. Yeah, right. What about Jelly Roll? It's the Ariana Grande to Jelly Roll pipe. Like so we have to. And that's what.
Starting point is 01:12:52 what you were talking about with her. It's like you want to also be critical about very overweight people if you're going to be critical about very underweight people. And that's, if you want to name them, like, that's fine with me. Well, I'm not going to name them, but I did just see something that like, it was very much what I was saying. It was a video of like a severely overweight celebrity. And the comments were like, why aren't we like saying Ariana Grande? Why aren't the comments here like Ariana Grande's comments? Text me who it was. And then like, if you're feeling brave you could share because I'm never going to say it oh my gosh I'm so curious who it is I kind of have a thought of who it could be oh interesting I thought you were going to say this person's
Starting point is 01:13:36 not severely overweight but like they've obviously gotten to an unhealthy place no no no like there's I'm talking about like being fat is like I'm fat right now like being fat is that I'm talking about like severe like morbid obesity understood okay yeah yeah I don't think if someone's like currently like carrying I want to say up to 40 extra pounds It's like they need their comments to be like you're in danger. I'm talking about like how it's really extreme Ariana Grande, right? I'm talking about extreme overweight. There's just not a lot of celebrities.
Starting point is 01:14:07 No, there's not. Yeah, so there's like two. Everyone's going to know who I'm talking about. I actually don't think so. I never would have guessed. Okay. Okay, that's your show. Yeah.

Starting point is 01:14:36 For Dear Media by night, I got my hair professionally glammed and my girl Allison. Like she was using all this like new stuff and I had her send me links. So kind of major changes I stopped using a Dyson Air app. Yeah, it's all. And then I also. I stopped using a Dyson Air app. AMA. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:53 And I also did an AMA. I answered a bunch of questions about like actually shared some like secret project. I didn't even tell you about it. like I shared like a couple of secret project reveals. I was just kind of being a big mouth. And I shared just like some stuff, Q&A, hair tutorial in depth, low dry. I seriously can with you.
Starting point is 01:15:08 Yeah, I know. Like years of work. That's why I didn't tell you. Blurt it out in your A&A. By the way, I was very vague. Okay. So that is our show. Patreon is going to be popping off for the remainder of the week.
