Starting point is 00:00:09 Jackson Claude, favorite show the fast-by things you need to know. We'll start your day off, swirly, it's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Tuesday, the first Tuesday in May. I'm your host, Turney Rivers, wearing my finest leggings to criticize all the high-fashioned looks at last night's Met Gala, and I'm joined by my barrel gene-wearing sister, Jacqueline Follet, former editor of Runway Paris. Jerk Rivers.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Jirt and Turt Rivers. Like everyone's so afraid. I love that like fashion police these days is like, oh, I don't love her shoe. Yeah, seven out of ten. Would have paired it with a different shoe. Me, ugly dress, ugly girl. Like, I'm here to clock it.
Starting point is 00:00:58 I'm here to say the things that people won't say, even though there wasn't anything like obscenely offensive. Yeah, I think the general tone is going to be like, everyone looked beautiful. The place looked great. The place looked great, actually. The carpet was beautiful. Wedding, InSpo.
Starting point is 00:01:11 like those lavender like ceiling flower murals. It was really quite beautiful. I saw a tweet that was like the carpet looked like a Jewish wedding at Chippriani. Yes. And it did. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:01:24 Meggala is our first story. We'll try and just contain it to that. And our biggest story. I'm actually like, I'm not being confined to the fast five today. You know, like I'm going to talk about the things that we need to talk about. Whether that in total is five or 1,000,
Starting point is 00:01:39 it is what it is. You just can't really put us in a box on the first Tuesday in May. And before we dive into like all the Tuesday responsibilities, I have a couple of things I just need to chat with you about, PFSC, if you will. Okay. The first is that I honestly can't believe it took me almost a year of being a mom to finally pull my back out like floor play this morning. Oh my God, I was doing this dumb thing that I saw on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:02:02 I can't. Like I know how it sounds. And I throw out my back. I'm in so much pain. I had to cancel. You know, I'm trying to do two workouts, two workouts a week. And my first one, I feel like this might be the first week. I don't make the two.
Starting point is 00:02:13 My back is killing me. I have three icy hats on my back. Like, seriously. Floor play. Only Tuesday. Like, I will be an absent mother because I cannot do floorplay. I just can't. Like, I can't get on the floor.
Starting point is 00:02:23 And look, the one time I get on the floor, I throw out my back. Yeah. Yeah. That's okay. That's okay. Like, I always sit in the rocking chair while like Ben does the floor play and I just watch, you know? I'm like one of those moms who like wraps herself up in a robe and just watches. Yeah, well, I, one son, this is so sure.
Starting point is 00:02:39 it's like the not that Ruby's a toddler but like the physical years let's say like one and up those are for the dad agreed the baby years are for the mom because when you have a baby there's only so much a dad can do like the mom has to do it but like when things start getting physical dad clock in it's your time to shine yeah I was really doing too much I'm so annoyed like having your back out while you're trying to like run a business be a present mother like play mahjong so fucking annoying yeah yeah especially those mage chairs for sure yeah that's the first thing I want to tell you about. I'm sorry, you're foolish lame a dirty.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Thank you. The second thing I think you'll find interesting. So, you know, the Knicks are in the playoffs. I do know. And I know because fucking Timothy Shalameh wasn't at the mecco. That's how I know. Right. And Ben Stiller wore like the ugliest orange tie to like match his wife's blue dress in
Starting point is 00:03:23 Nix colors and then left. I think he literally went to the carpet and left. I saw I'm getting into a car going to the next game. So Timothy could have. Absolutely. And if he wanted to, he would have. But I was watching. And so we're playing Philly, which is just like a, it's a heated rivalry because it's, you know,
Starting point is 00:03:36 one hour away, you know, ruling cities, whatever. And Carl Anthony Towns actually has like a really long, I'm not sure of like the root, but huge beef with Joelle M. Bid from the other team. So it's kind of text. Joellen? Joel M. Beed.
Starting point is 00:03:50 So he has this like longstanding beef with Carl Anthony Towns, Jordan Woods's fiancee. Oh. And so we knew it was just going to be heated. He's team Chloe. Something like that. He's team Tristan. I don't know like where the beef originated,
Starting point is 00:04:03 but everyone just knew this was going to be like, there was going to be like some scuffles on the court. Jackie, last night. night there was an all out brawl. I couldn't believe what I was watching when I saw the video. I fell asleep in the middle of the game, obviously. Jackie. And you know who it comes back to? You're going to crack up. You know who's on the Sixers? Danilo Gallinari. No, close. Actually, not close at all here. Chris, I'll give you a clue. Close. I'll give you a clue. Ben Simmons. Cookies. Yes. Cookies. That was the clue. Jackie. Jackie. I, and you know, I can't get involved in sports because
Starting point is 00:04:34 I'm such an empath because I'm literally calling for Ben Simmons to be expelled for. from the league. Jackie, he was on the floor with Jordan Woods' fiance in a headlock, choking him. He was literally, Carl Anthony Towns was on the floor on his stomach. He was tapping out like he was in a wrestling match. He was like, get off of me. Being choked by Ben Simmons. Like, seriously, I'm calling, I can't support this league if they don't take action. You can't choke someone. Like, of course, you know, the guys get into it. You know, it's whatever. It's a rivalry. I'm sorry. Putting someone in a headlock and choking them. And obviously his sister like makes him unfavorable to me.
Starting point is 00:05:07 And ready, he was already off to a bad start. His sister taught him that. Yes. You guys, not to be like a narc and take it so seriously, I couldn't believe what I was watching and I feel like there has to be consequences. And I heard he's not even that good, so it won't affect the team anyway. Yeah. Can you believe?
Starting point is 00:05:22 If I showed you this video, you wouldn't believe what you were seeing. It's so unacceptable. So then what happened? I don't know. I was asleep and I always saw the clip on the police report. But like, I hope, I mean, sure Jordan Woods was freaking out. Like her man is literally being choked. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:35 By Kendall's man. By Kendall's man. And who's like a big loser. He, like, the comments were like, where was this energy, like, for the game? You know, like, he doesn't play. He doesn't shoot. He doesn't score. But, like, you're over here choking Carl Anthony Towns.
Starting point is 00:05:47 On behalf of Joel. I don't know if it was on behalf. I don't know, like, how we got to that place. But, like, you know, scuffles happen. You know, they shove. It's like not a big deal. This, unlike some other shit I've ever seen. That's why I can't watch hockey.
Starting point is 00:06:00 Like, oh, yeah. But at least hockey, that's hockey. You know, you know what you're getting. Yeah, so I don't watch it. But as like, as an empath, I really, I personally, I want to see some consequences. Maybe did he get suspended? Well, he doesn't play so they couldn't take him out of the game.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Yeah, it wouldn't really affect anything. It might actually only help the Sixers if they got him off the team. I just think it was crazy. That was the second thing I wanted to say. The third thing I wanted to say before my PFFB checklist has been officially checked up is I had to cancel a lot of things today because my back was turned out, but I didn't cancel one because I have a huge, huge thing happening this afternoon. Crack?
Starting point is 00:06:36 Crazier. Meth. It's probably not crazier than meth. Okay. I'm filming my historical TikTok with my friend Johnny who makes those like New York videos. We're doing it in the park. I can't wait. I'm actually, I'm in historical New York because I'm reading The It Girl.
Starting point is 00:06:51 We're recording for Redheads today. Did you finish it? No. And let me tell you, this is the tightest I've ever been. I'm literally walking. You say that every week. No, Claudia, we're recording today at 4 o'clock and I'm 72% done. I'm walking around my house with my phone in my pocket playing the book.
Starting point is 00:07:07 book like I'm in a rough spot. That makes me sad because I feel like you're not really experiencing the book like in a part delicious way. I experienced up to 58% last night and then this morning now it's crunch time. I'm going to be driving all day. I'll be listening to the book. I still don't know if I'm going to finish it. I actually was like either going to move the episode but like tomorrow's Margo's birthday and so obviously she's not going to record and if we don't like if we don't record today at 4 like we're never recording. I was also going to ask you like do you want to host it like you've read the book. Oh I would love to but I don't really remember like it's I have to be so fresh. Yeah I know. And I'm meeting Johnny Murta in the park, you know?
Starting point is 00:07:39 I just feel like that would be like such a shakeup because it's also my book. So not only do I have to have read it, which I've never not finished her redhead's book. Like I'm leading the discussion. So I have to like know how it ends. I will say the end is probably the worst part. Like she made it 10% too long. Oh, it's feeling that way. I'm like, I feel like I get the point.
Starting point is 00:07:55 Why is this book not over? Yeah, right. So. And then the end is like kind of silly. Like. Yeah. Between like trying to read, trying to get the boys down, like trying to have an eye out for the Met Gala.
Starting point is 00:08:06 looking camp right in the eye. The Mechella is just so weird because we all sit down to watch like a private event. There's no show like we just watch the carpet. A red carpet, yeah. Which I thought Vogue did a pretty good job. Obviously like I have notes for the host
Starting point is 00:08:22 and I have notes for the production team too. Like I get that it's very much like an insider event and I like that they've never like shied away. It's become like a real public A-List Hollywood thing. But it is at its core like a fashion and arts event and they never stop inviting those people. But I don't know. who those people are.
Starting point is 00:08:36 So it really would have been helpful if every time they were showing someone on screen they could have had their name. Even people, they get so dressed up. Sometimes I didn't recognize them. Like, I was looking at this girl. I was like, I know you. Who are you?
Starting point is 00:08:46 Who are you? It was Elizabeth DeBecke, Princess Diana from the crowd. Like people just look so vastly different. They really should have had just a little bar at the bottom with the person's name. Of course.
Starting point is 00:08:55 They were interviewing or who was being shown on the red carpet. It would have just made the experience so much more organized for me. Even for celebrities. Like some, first of them cover their face. So I actually don't know. Katie Perry.
Starting point is 00:09:07 And also, yeah, I don't know everyone. Like, who's this Hudson Williams? Oh, well, like, everyone knows him. Who the heck is that? Are you serious? Yes. Heated rivalry. Oh, I never watched it.
Starting point is 00:09:21 So there's two heated rivalries and two guys from heated rivalry. There's two heated rivalries? No, two guys. Like, the love interests is Hudson Williams and Connor's story. And everyone loves. Another one whose picture I saw that. I'm like, you look like a famous person. love him like everyone's obsessed of him and everyone hates the other one like I actually feel bad for him
Starting point is 00:09:40 so I never read the book I didn't watch the show are the two of them gay lovers yes while also being hockey players and but is hudson williams with daisy edgar jones i saw them walking and holding hands i saw them getting out of a sprinter together no so and i think part of the reason why everyone really likes Connor stories because he's gay and then hudson williams i think is engaged to a woman or in like a long-term relationship so i think people it was just like he was never going to be loved was he just was his character bisexual? No, no, no. They're both gay.
Starting point is 00:10:10 Well, they were both, like, closeted, you know, I never saw the show. But, like, as far as I understand from various TikToks, no, I only, I have read one. Hockey is, like, a very, actually, too. People are so obsessed with this show or movie, like, they're going to yell at us. They're going to yell at us.
Starting point is 00:10:25 I know, I know. I just feel like I never watched it when it was popular, and, like, now it's too late. Yeah, it just missed me, like. Well, they, as far as I know, based on, like, the clips, seen in long-form vertical series. Do you see that Cassie left Nate?
Starting point is 00:10:40 She got a hotel room. Did you see that? No, he's not with Daisy Edgar Jones and I don't know why they, but I also think at some point it's just logistics. Like a lot of the brands, like if you go with the brand, you have to go, like maybe they wore the same design. The designer had one sprinter van. For sure, but they also seem to be holding hands.
Starting point is 00:10:58 But yeah, I agree. Yeah. I have a lot of thoughts, a lot of mean ones, a lot of nice ones, a lot of just critical ones. So we'll get into it in the first story. And we have, you know, scheduling programming update moved to Deer Toasturst's tomorrow. Today's just feels like it's going to be a long show. Yeah, it's going to be a long show. Major Mechalla recap. I think we have like total like mechala and then like two or three other need to discuss stories. But I'm not going to like drag it out with some nonsense when we got shit to do. Yeah. Yeah. So are you saying we should just like cut the PFFB and go? I guess we could cut and go.
Starting point is 00:11:31 I've just been like in a flurry. Oh, we went out for dinner last night. which was super cute because the restaurant was near a lawn. So we were able to enjoy our dinner. We have to like, and that's why I need to, where are those McDonald's that have like the play gyms indoors? Like they are a thing of the past, I think, like there, it was a notoriously litigious affair. But you're right for that.
Starting point is 00:11:53 I can only dine at restaurants that have a little wreck area, rec for recreation. And yes, last night we went to dinner for Olivia's husband's birthday. That's hilarious. And there was like a little lawn nearby. So everybody was happy. Patch of grass needed. Patch of grass needed a couple sticks and we're good.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Yeah, right. Yeah. No, bring back those like play gyms. I know. That was such an iconic. And I do think that they got sued a lot for like kids falling and stuff. So they just got rid of them because they were not worth. Oh, wait.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Speaking of sued, like major news that got really buried yesterday, which I'm sure will be a story is like lively. Yes. Oh, not her showing up. I have a lot of thoughts. Let's just dive in. Okay. Without further, a do that, do that do that do.
Starting point is 00:12:33 here are the fast five stories that you do need to know. And the fast five stories that you do need to know is brought to you by a brand that I wish that I started. It's Vivrelle and it's literally the most genius thing ever. It's a members only club where you can borrow designer bags, jewelry watches, even diamonds. It's a rotating dream closet that you do not have to commit to. And if you've ever done any like a service before where you borrow stuff, Vivrelle is so much better and so much different because they don't have return dates.
Starting point is 00:12:57 You can keep a piece as long as you want. You can swap it monthly once you're ready for something new. And if you really do fall in love with something, you can buy it directly from them and you are going to get a great price on the bag so much better than retail. It's a great way to like if you're really into designer bags but you don't want to spend the money. A lot of bags are really trendy. So it's like you spend a lot of money and then it's not even cool the next year or you don't have the space in your New York City apartment. Whatever reasoning you might have for wanting to try Vivrelle. There's never a bad one. They have
Starting point is 00:13:22 bags obviously, but they have designer accessories. They have jewelry. They have really high-end jewelry brands. The classic tier, which is $139 a month is their most popular. The value is just really insane. They refresh their inventory constantly, adding millions of dollars in new pieces. They've got Prada, Fendi, Saint Laurent, Dior, Chanel. We have, I think, one of the best offers out there. It's code toast to get your first month of membership completely free. That's code T-O-A-S-T for your first month of Vibral membership. It also allows you to skip the wait list because if you just sign up online, there is a bit of a wait. And I don't know if you guys saw on Instagram, but they launched a new tier. It's called
Starting point is 00:14:03 Prevei, and it has like Birkins and Kelly's. It's coming out soon. So they're just like doing the most over there, operating at an extremely high level. So whether you're booking a trip for yourself, your partner, a picky teenager, a sleep light, rise early mom, or a high maintenance sister slash co-host, you can find exactly what you're booking for. So obviously, like vacation planning these days looks a little bit different. Ben and I actually use booking.com to find our Mother's Day trip because we needed like very specific type of accommodations in terms of like pack and plays and a kitchenette. It's just different. Obviously in the past, we've done more like honeymoon romantic type of vacation, swim up bars,
Starting point is 00:17:47 casinos, things like that. So booking.com is good for whatever type of trip if you're planning a bachelor's party. I also think they are great at giving you good options. I try to like stay within the U.S. I think it's just easier to travel that way. And sometimes it's hard to like keep coming up with new places to go.
Starting point is 00:18:00 And they just also give you great inspiration for where to go. So you can find exactly what you're booking for on booking.com. Booking. Yeah, yeah. You can find, you can book today in their website, which is booking.com.
Starting point is 00:18:14 And in their app, which is also booking.com. So if you're a foodie, if you're a friend group, whatever you're looking for, booking.com has it. Check out their website and their app, booking.com, booking. Yeah, yeah. Thank you, dot, terrea. You're welcome. Our first story, Metgala, 2026, all the looks on the red carpet.
Starting point is 00:18:37 So the stars were out last night in Manhattan for the Metgala. The theme was fat, costume art. The theme was fat? fucking wasn't. I was going to say fashion. I want to say. But costume art. I want to say that did you find that the Vogue live stream was so high quality?
Starting point is 00:18:57 And I feel like not to be one of those because like who cares. But people are so skinny. I feel like celebrities, it's hard to really tell how skinny they are, unless you're like seeing them in person. But it was so clear the live stream. Gracie Abrams like her bones. Like I can see everyone's bones. It was honestly like a great advertisement for the camera.
Starting point is 00:19:15 It was high quality. You're going to say for Ossambic. Well, that too. Yeah, no, everyone was really looking, Persian. I was not going to say fat. I was going to say fashion is art, but costume or art. Exploring the centrality of the dress, body, and dress code, dubbed appropriately fashion is art.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Okay, so it is both. So it was a mixture of either the theme was like, look naked or look like a piece of famous art. Yes. So I feel like it's less obvious this year. Like last year, I feel was like a real theme, black dandyism. Like, that is a style of dress. Yes. And it was much easier to say, like, you're in theme, you're not in theme.
Starting point is 00:19:46 My criticisms for the looks this year are really not going to be based on the theme because the theme is so generic. Yeah. And like a lot of people just like wore a corset and you were technically in theme because it's like body. Yeah. Which is also confusing because it was just heavenly bodies. We had heavenly bodies. But so some of people like looked like a piece of artwork and some of the references once you see them like are really strong or Kendall and Kylie were just like famous statues. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:14 And like some people literally wore. copies of like Madonna's is literally a painting. Yes, as is, um, who was the other one? Oh, the one, Rachel Zegler. Yeah, Lady of Jane. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And Chloe Bennett of Vogue Editor-in-Chief. Is that her name?
Starting point is 00:20:34 No. The first name was right. What's her last name? Malley, yeah. Chloe Bennett's a girl from H-2-O. Like, what's H-2-O? Clio-Nor. The fuck?
Starting point is 00:20:47 Sometimes it's a girl. insane that like you host a pop culture podcast. What are you talking about? Genuinely, Clare, Clare, NAR? NAR! Clare! NAR! What is that? Is that on TikTok? Or is that
Starting point is 00:21:02 a show? H-2O. I'll Google it. It's a show. It's called H-2-O. And it was like Australian girls who are mermaids and they can't get wet because if they do, they'll turn into mermaids. You don't remember that show? I believe Claire Holt, Matt Kaplan's ex-wife. Is it?
Starting point is 00:21:20 Chloe. And a girl. Is there a girl name? No, they said Cleo Certory. No, no. That's, Cleo is the name of the character. Who's portrayed by Phoebe Tonkin. Yes, Phoebe Tonkin.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Is Claire Holton that or am I making that up? Oh gosh. She's just Australian. She is. She is. And is somebody named Chloe Bennett? I'm seeing Cleo, nor the condensation.
Starting point is 00:21:43 Nor the condensation. No, I'm not. don't know that. You never watch that show? No. I mean, I lived the same childhood. NAR, I never watched it. NAR! The condensation! Okay, back to the MetGala. I don't even think Chloe Bennett's in the show. Okay, sorry, go back. Back to the Met Gala. Chloe, the new editor-in-chief also looked like a painting. Yes. Do you want to go through all the looks? Do you want to say some of your favorites? Yeah, let's go through all the looks because I want to talk them through. I have my early favorites,
Starting point is 00:22:11 but I feel like maybe I could be persuaded in one way or the other once we like talk everything out. So let's save best and worst, of course, my favorite. My worst is going nowhere. And I actually think in years past, I'll have to check old episodes. This person might have been my worst dressed then also. Okay. Can I say it? Are you going to wait?
Starting point is 00:22:31 Ben Pot. No, but I actually liked his outfit. You know, he's always my worst dress, even when he's not there. I know, right. I don't know what to do with myself because I liked his outfit. A thousand percent. And my worst dressed. my worst dress is like hands down not even a question like everybody else can go home
Starting point is 00:22:49 hiding clue like she she fucking serious honestly she should never be allowed back agreed she got confused she thought it was her Halloween party she got her dates mixed up not a costume not the last sunday in october but the first Monday in May yeah okay let's go through the vogue article of all of the looks and discuss our thoughts so first up here we have riana naceaparaki and i don't like it and that pains me because I love Rihanna. But I just don't like it. Like just, I don't know the meaning. I'm just saying, like, aesthetics.
Starting point is 00:23:22 I just don't like it. It never occurred to me that I might not like it, you know, because I'm just like, they look amazing. They're fashion personified. Royalty. Of course it's great. Like, they crushed it. She is the Met Gala.
Starting point is 00:23:32 So if I didn't like it, I wouldn't even know because I'm just like, well, this is right. I know. I know because it's right. Yeah. No, and I still feel that way. Like, she's a new mama. Like anything she wears that she wants to wear. Like you're amazing.
Starting point is 00:23:45 Best dressed. Next we have Emily Chamberlain in Muglair. I don't have that. We're on different lists. What are you on? The Vogue. See every MetGala 2026 red carpet look from last night. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Send me that. I'm on Vogue, the best dressed stars at the MECGala. Just go to the Vogue website. Go to Home page. It was like the first thing that popped up. And if you guys want to follow along, go to the Vogue website. And we're going through see every MetGala, 2026 red carpet look from last night. On my way.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Next up, they had Beyonce. who I apparently everybody knew because on my Instagram, I was like, I'm shocked. I picked my head up and I thought I was, I'm like, no way, Beyonce. But apparently she was like a chair of the event. Everyone was like, you didn't know that. She's a chair of the event.
Starting point is 00:24:25 I didn't know that. She hasn't gone in 10 years. So everybody like calling me out for not knowing that. Like how did everybody know that? I was shocked to see her. I think she really came. A lot of people like hard launched their kids last night. They used it.
Starting point is 00:24:37 It was very much like a NEPO event. And so I think she really went for Blue because Blue was having this moment. It's crazy work to put your daughter in Balenciaga. I just want to say, I'm sorry, I think that's nuts. But she looked great. She really did. Also, Nicole Kidman brought her daughter.
Starting point is 00:24:52 But typically the Mechella doesn't allow people under 18. Oh. But, like, they have said, because they said it's, like, not appropriate event. She might not have gone in. But they've said, like, if you're accompanied by your parents, like, it's okay. Oh, Sheprode. So they were okay. Plus, Nicole and Beyonce were part of the board, so they could do whatever fuck they want.
Starting point is 00:25:11 So Beyonce's look, I really want. I really wish she didn't have the jacket. Like, first of all, I was watching her on the live stream. She was in hell. She was huffing and puffing. She was sweating so much. She's wearing this probably dress that weighs 50 pounds. And then this enormous fur coat, which I think ruined the look.
Starting point is 00:25:24 Because the whole body's thing and then here she is wearing a skeleton. Like, I get it. Oh, body. Oh. Yeah. And it's a sick dress. And I think that the jacket covers up a lot of like the work. Yep. And I just, I love the headpiece.
Starting point is 00:25:34 I love the dress. I hate the jacket. I agree completely. But it's so funny about Beyonce. Like, she, her person. Sona is like so much larger than life. And I never like hear her talk, right? She doesn't do interviews.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Like she doesn't have a podcast. So every time, I can't remember the last time I just heard her speak. It's always people speaking about her or she's showing up in a look. She was interviewed by Lala. And she's just like a, she's just a mom, you know? Every answer was like, what are you excited at? To be here with Blue. What's new this year?
Starting point is 00:26:03 I'm seeing it through the eyes of my daughter. Like she was just actually giving really sweet answers. And she's kind of like, she was giving shy. She was like just very delightful and shy. And I feel like I know so much. more of like her impact than I do her personality. Yeah. I wasn't expecting her.
Starting point is 00:26:18 She's just like so like a mom. Yeah, low key. Yeah, very low key. Yeah, that's very sweet. Next we have Tiana Taylor and Tom Ford. This look got ruined for me because I watched her on the stream posing. And that happened a lot like Rachel Zegler. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:26:35 She looked like she had TMJ. She was like, like these people are fucking crazy. So these are nuts. You were going to otherwise love Rachel Seglars. Of course. You as now I'm such a big fan. So Tiana Taylor, like, I'm looking at this picture. This is a sick dress.
Starting point is 00:26:48 It's literally a work of art. But I can't get over like her movements. They were insane. Yeah. Yeah. It's always awkward to see like someone like smiling or not even what she was doing is different. But just someone like getting their picture taken. It's just very awkward to see.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Now, I feel like one of my biggest criticisms of the Met this year is not necessarily anyone's looks. It's more so I feel like it doesn't feel that exclusive anymore. I feel like it's supposed to represent. at least how I interpret it. Maybe I'm interpreting it incorrectly. Like the year of work, like, it's supposed to represent that year. Like, kind of how, like, Dixie Dimmilio went one year, which is insane, but like it represented the year.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Yes, yes, it should. But then there are people who had a big year three years ago and are still worth inviting. Right. So that's kind of how I feel about Doja Cat. Like, I was really surprised to see her there. Yes, but, like, I think she's a huge artist. She's very fashion and she's art and she's... She is very fashion.
Starting point is 00:27:40 And art. I'm not surprised. to see her there and I thought she looked great. Yeah, I thought she looked great too. I actually like her as a blonde. Yeah, I really like this look. Nicole Kidman wore Chanel. She was like the first one there because she's one of the chairs.
Starting point is 00:27:53 She brought her daughter who was also wearing Chanel, hard launched Nepo Baby. The dress is really pretty, but she just like does look like she's going to the Oscars, which like she goes to a lot of black tie events and this just didn't feel that different. Yeah, but I think she looks great. I don't know the reference or to not reference, but I don't have any complaints, you know. I don't know the reference, Iva. Then we have Tyler. Cute.
Starting point is 00:28:16 Yeah. Very pretty. Really cute. Her hair was wet. Very pretty. Sabrina. Okay. So Sabrina.
Starting point is 00:28:23 This was really inspired. It was. She was channeling Audrey Hepburn in the movie Sabrina and her dress was made out of film tape of the movie. Of the movie. Yeah. It's truly fashion is art, art being fashion. Like this is, it's kind of giving, what's that project runway challenge where they have to make, they have to make a dress out of like garbage.
Starting point is 00:28:43 It's called the something something materials challenge. Like, fuck, this is going to bother me so much. You know what I'm talking about? They do it every year in Project Runway. I don't watch that much project runway. They like take them to a dumpster. What is the word I'm looking for? It's like unconventional materials challenge.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Unconventional materials. Yes, that's exactly it. Honestly, it was a huge night for Breiner. Not only did she slay the theme, the look, the carpet, everything. She performed inside. She did a couple of her hits. She performed with Stevie Nix, landslide, like all. I'm Breiner. I'm sorry if she didn't like get a boyfriend last night. What were you doing?
Starting point is 00:29:14 Yeah, I just also want to say I hate her shoes. Oh, so you're being one of those. Sorry. Oh my God. No, I just, I feel like people are not like criticizing. Like, yeah, this looks amazing. The shoes are bad. I do feel like she has a complex because she's so short. So like she had to wear these stompers. But they're just like so distracting. I guess. It works for me. It doesn't bother me. I'm cracking up that you're one of those people. I love the look. I would change the shoes. I would. Even though Breiner should have gotten a boyfriend last night. like I actually don't know who in that room would be worthy of her. I feel like a man going like solo to the Met Gall is kind of icky.
Starting point is 00:29:46 There were also not a lot of boys there. Like nobody brought their boyfriend. No Lewis Hamilton. No one did as I said. No one did. Nobody did what we asked. No Brooks. No Brooks.
Starting point is 00:29:55 But Grace Ann was there. Was anybody else confused by that? I'm shocked. And Brooks dropped her off. I feel like they literally put her in as like Brooks Nader. And like she took her seat and everything but like showed up as Grace Ann because like why would Grace Ann be there? I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Why wasn't Brooks there? I don't know. No, Brooks was, I think, like, in the sprinter with Grayson and dropped her off. It'll be on the show, whatever it is. That's true. Next up, we have one of my best dress. I don't know if anyone's going to come close, Ms. Haley Bieber. The color is stunning.
Starting point is 00:30:26 The gold-plated, like, it's just insane. It's a reference to an old Salem Ron. She's wearing Sailor-Rond. It's gorgeous. I wish she actually didn't take the scarf off, though. She took it off at the very bottom of the steps, and all the pictures are with the remainder of the dress. And I think that the scarf really makes it special. and it looks, you know, like a statue with like the drapery.
Starting point is 00:30:43 Yeah. No, she looks amazing. Where was Justin? Oh, yeah. I always like a couple pictures. They always do good couple pictures too. So we didn't get any of that. But yeah, no, she looks amazing.
Starting point is 00:30:54 You could tell her she probably had the best night ever. She's comfortable. She's beautiful. Her hair's up. She could dance the night away. Well, she also, I feel like made everyone look so bad because let me tell you she's, has a slick back bun, barely any jewelry, a little highlighter, and she's one of the best dress.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Meanwhile, there are people there wearing like, 60 pound dresses who just look stupid. They can't move. I actually feel like all the others were like mad at her. Yeah, but you can do it too. I guess some people like they just have to wear what the designer says, but even people who looked stupid have a little more agency than that. Like some of them were big stars.
Starting point is 00:31:25 She looked insane. Next we have Charlie, Charlie XX. She's wearing some like Monet flowers on her chest. Hate. She needed a necklace. and I hate her hair. In the words of Nikki Minaj,
Starting point is 00:31:43 I hate, hate, hate your hair and makeup today. This hair is just like so corny. I just don't like it. The hair is corny. Yeah, it's like so like glam, Instagram glam from 2016. Yeah, yeah, it's giving like dated pop star. Yes.
Starting point is 00:31:59 That is interesting because she's not a corny girl whatsoever. No, this whole look is just weird. I think she's so art. Yeah. No, I like the dress, but, you know, A black dress, it's hard, like, I want to see color, especially in this theme when it's art, pal, it's vibrant. Like, it's, it's not, it's not for me, but she looks like Charlie, you know? Yeah, so it's like she's, Charlie X-Sis is wearing flowers in her own way.
Starting point is 00:32:24 Cardi B and Mark Jacobs also very, very close. She should thank Heidi Klum because she would have been my worst dress. What is going on? I have no idea. Are those supposed to be breasts? Well, she got there late, so I do think she missed the stream, so we only saw pictures. she looks like she has like hemorrhites on her shoulders. Like this is just bad.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Yeah. But are they meant to be boobs? I didn't think that they were meant to be boobs. I honestly have no idea. I don't know if the reference, I don't know, I don't care. It's just ugly.
Starting point is 00:32:54 It's Mark Jacobs. Ugly is what it is. Next, we have Coleman Domingo. So I feel like it's hard for men to stand out. This is the first man we're talking about. I actually like what he's wearing. I like what he's wearing too.
Starting point is 00:33:06 It is very art. It's art. I don't know what the reference. But you know what? He looks handsome and I like the jacket. So I'm going to leave it at that. No, I have no negative thoughts. Next we have, um,
Starting point is 00:33:16 Ayo Edibiri and Chanel. Beautiful. It is really beautiful, but I do feel like there was like a certain piece of art that a lot of people referenced. Um, Kendall. There was another girl. I forget. It's like an angelic.
Starting point is 00:33:29 She and Kendall referenced the exact same. Yeah. So I feel like there's like a genre of art that a lot of people referenced, including A.O. Adiberi and like hers falls flat compared to the others. for me. Yes, but it is a beautiful silhouette and you can't go wrong. Whereas other years, a lot of people do a similar sort of thing and it's not nearly as beautiful as looking like a goddess or a statue. And so this is like, I guess, the safe choice of the night. Yes. But it's incredibly
Starting point is 00:33:55 beautiful. And another one who probably had a great time felt very comfortable and very beautiful. Yes. Yes. So I think that's a great, like, you know, if you were going to the Met Galley and you didn't know what to wear, that is very safe and good. Yeah, safe. Next, we have Kim Kardashian wearing a sculptor and, you know, Kim is really one of the ones to watch at the Met Gala. So a lot of pressure and eyes on Miss Kim. What do you think? And I have to say, I actually really like it. I heard her explain the, she worked with an actual artist who makes like these types of sculptures. She doesn't make clothes. They like added a skirt to his preexisting like piece of art. So she's literally wearing art. It's like a real reference. It's crazy to not be wearing pants. Like,
Starting point is 00:34:36 remember when Sabrina, I think it was last year, Black Dandias. I'm like more like a leotard. It's crazy just not to be wearing pants. Yeah. But I love her blonde hair. I think the glam is great. I actually, I feel like Kim is always falling flat for me these days, like in fashion, especially at the Met Gala. Like I can't remember the last time she really took my breath away. And I love this. I love it too. It's different. She was like with the old man sculptor. She left him at the door of her spring. Do you see those videos? I was like, he like, he like, walked her all the way from the hotel to the sprinter. And then he's like in with the bodyguards.
Starting point is 00:35:07 I'm like, is he going to go in? And then he didn't. Oh, I'm really sad. No, it was kind of sad. Oh, no. I don't know what like the plan was, but I just didn't like seeing him left on the side of the road. I don't like that either.
Starting point is 00:35:19 She showed up with Chris, who was like doing her Chris thing. She always just wears like a really not safe, but like really Mother of the Bride type of. Yeah, like mother like, you know, appropriate on theme a little bit. She was wearing Dolcee last night. She looks great. She looks great. I know. It's never about her, except for the one year where she dressed like Jackie Kennedy and she looked amazing.
Starting point is 00:35:39 Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Blue Ivy. Blue Ivy and Blenciaga. So like I said, to have your 13 or 14 year old daughter where Blenciaga is insane. But she does look really cool and good. And there's like a trend with young people like showing off your tan lines.
Starting point is 00:35:55 I don't know if you know that. That's a pro? Yeah. It's like a thing that like people do. It looks cool. So she's doing that. So it's like, it's cool to have Jenzy represent. Oh, that's cool because like in our day, that was so uncouth.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Of course, you would literally lay out naked so you didn't have the lines. Yeah. Now it's being embraced. Oh, okay. I didn't know that was happening. Yeah. So she crushed the look. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:16 It must be very intimidating. How old is she now? Like 14. Something like that. No, that's hard. Be on this carpet. I'm glad you wear sunglasses. I feel like that does give you like a level of.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Well, there's actually this video where it's like the stylist and her mom and everyone's telling her to take off her glasses and she won't do it. That was like Chloe. Yeah. They didn't want her to walk with glasses, but it's like a shield. I'm glad she walked with glasses. Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:36 And the lights are so bright. It's a lot. It's a lot. Yep. Next we have Serena Williams. She's wearing Svroovsky, right? Because that's my queen. And I just, I don't like any part of this.
Starting point is 00:36:49 I also think it's crazy to wear a watch. Like, and it's not an Apple watch or anything. It's just like a big, I'm sure it's like a $300,000 watch. But it's just like a big watch. It must be the brand she went with. I think she went with Swarovski. So like she had to wear their watch. Oh, I think, like,
Starting point is 00:37:01 just want to skip this because I'm incapable of saying a bad word about her. I like her shoes. I like her strappy shoes. Oh, I don't. I don't. I like the shoes. I like the girl. Do you like the glam?
Starting point is 00:37:13 I like the glam. Yes, yes, yes. She has got a beat. It's always good to find one positive. Yeah. Okay. Next we have Emma Chamberlain wearing Muglair aforementioned. It's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:37:27 It's actually insane her transformation. Like, I'm sorry, if you used to like watch her YouTube. just to realize, like, that's this girl. I'll never get over it. She was doing hosting for E. I didn't, not E, excuse me, for Vogue. I didn't see her. She wasn't on the mainstream.
Starting point is 00:37:40 She must have been doing, like, social, like TikTok live stream or whatever. But she's quite literal, and I wouldn't even consider her, like, a creator anymore, but there was not one influencer there. Nobody from TikTok. I thought it was, like, actually, they did. They locked the door.
Starting point is 00:37:55 They threw away the key. So I feel like they were really exclusive in terms of, like, keeping out digital talent. Mm-hmm. But I didn't feel like there was exclusivity elsewhere. There were a couple of people and I'll say them when we come to them, but I was really shocked. But no influencers, zero. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:11 And where do you think that comes from? I don't know. I mean, I do think they leaned in too hard a few years ago when they had like a YouTube sponsorship and every YouTuber was there. Like that was weird. James Charles, Nikki tutorials. Like that was crazy. And then I feel like they briefly leaned in when TikTok was really blowing up.
Starting point is 00:38:27 They almost like couldn't not acknowledge it. They had Addison and Dixie. girls who were old enough to go. And now nothing. And I do feel like there's actually a lot of high fashion creators. Do you think it's Lauren and Jeff? Oh, let's talk about Lauren and Jeff. Let's talk about Lauren and Jeff.
Starting point is 00:38:44 One thing you're never going to... It's like a chair. I fucking love her. I'm sorry. You will literally never get me to say a bad word about her. I'm so in awe of her. Like when we talk about women in business and like hustling, networking, I'm sorry, nobody's operating at a higher level than miss.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Lauren Sanchez Bezos. Yeah, not only like to get to where she's gotten, but then as a two of them, as a team, like buying the Met Gala, buying your way in, like, because you can. And it's like, you know, a lot of people have issue with it. And I saw an interview with Chloe Bennett, the editor in Chief of Vogue.
Starting point is 00:39:18 And they asked her like, how do you feel about like, Mm-hmm, Warren's involvement? And, you know, I'm sure inside it kills her. Like she says, like, sell the rag. Take money. Yeah. But she's like, you know, it's been, they said, like, she's a force.
Starting point is 00:39:31 She's in multiple areas in the world. She sort of pushes her way in. And it's been amazing for the exhibit. Like at the end of the day, they are giving money to this thing. This is a fundraiser and they've got the funds. Well, what's funny is that the involvement of Lauren and Jeff Bezos has now, like, had people turning on the event.
Starting point is 00:39:49 Like Sarah Paulson's outfit was like a, she wore the money over her eyes. It's from a collection called the 1%. Like it was very much a statement. And a couple of people have boycotted the event. because of the Bezos and it's like it has always been this it's always been a group of wealthy people you can't get in without spending at least $100,000 before even buying an outfit it's always been this like obscene out of touch display of wealth so I don't understand why like the Bezos is going makes it that much different it's the same exact thing it's true you're just like finding a moment to like boycott it now I have more respect for people who just didn't go because it doesn't align with their values like that is respectable if that's how you feel Sarah Paulson going and making a statement is seriously one of the losiriest things I ever saw.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Loser sneeze. It's giving when AOC went and wore a dress and said tax the rich. I'm like, look around. Maybe you are the rich. Look around. Don't tell us. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:44 So I feel like people do get like their wires crossed now with Bezos's involvement when it's always been this. If it wasn't Bezos, it's another billionaire funding it. Yeah. And I just want to say like the people who embrace it who are just like, yeah, let it read. They're having so much.
Starting point is 00:41:01 fun and all of you on the sidelines like piecing in bottles and leaving it in the museum you're not having fun you're not having fun Lauren's dress was heavily criticized there was a rumor I read it on Twitter and then it turned out not to be true that like because she paid whatever she could she was wearing scaporelli and that she got
Starting point is 00:41:17 like exclusivity no one else was allowed to wear a scaporelli but that's not true because Kylie was wearing scaparelli I would want exclusivity that me and Kylie have to wear the same thing and we have to sit together and like everyone was saying her outfit's so boring like 10 million just to wear mother of the bride dress. She's a 50-year-old woman. What the fuck do you guys want for her?
Starting point is 00:41:34 And if she did come out in this like incendi, be like, oh, she's trying so hard. You know what? I'm sorry. People just hate her. And I love, love, love. Did you see the reference to the art reference? I did see the art reference.
Starting point is 00:41:46 Because the reference was on point. So not only is like a beautiful dress that highlights her fantastic figure. The reference was on point, Madam X. I love her. Like, seriously, you'll never get me to say a bad word about her. I'm trying to get on the yacht. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:59 No, it's just. like lighten up have fun or stay home speaking of Kendall Jenner the Jenner crew I just wanted to say I think Emma Chamberlain looks amazing and I think like I saw the reference but I didn't even need to see it it's obviously like me neither brush strokes of Van Gogh like watercolors like literally it's a top contender for me agreed hate her hair but that's her hair now like that's who she is that's okay our next one another top contender every year Kendall Jenner and the nipple out the nipple out is so this is a like a funny nod to like the, I guess like body dresses, which is what Kylie did, I think, probably better than anyone. So she had like a little slip of it. She's referencing that
Starting point is 00:42:38 angelic art. Her dress did open up into like a Victoria's Secret Angel wing. I don't know why they didn't do it on the carpet because all the pictures of it are from inside. And by then, like people just don't care anymore. Like it's the carpet picked. She should have done it at the top of the carpet if she could have because once she opens it, she can't close it. So she couldn't do it at the bottom, right? She'd have all the pictures in it. I imagine. No, I think she looks amazing. also reminds me of the book I'm reading the Icaro when she sits for her portrait and like she has to have like one boob out. That's giving. Maybe she's inspired. Maybe she's inspired by Evelyn Talbot. Kylie is next wearing Scaparelli. It's like it's actually the dress itself is insane in terms of like the art of it all because she's wearing a body dress and it looks like the dress she's actually wearing is being ripped off.
Starting point is 00:43:23 She's taking it off. I love. I have I loved it. I'm so over the bleached eyebrows thing because I actually thought she was Gabriette. Yeah, I thought she was Gabriette too. I think she looks amazing, like really perfection. For me, I would not have bleached eyebrows, and that's coming from someone, like, with essentially bleached eyebrows, so, like, I can speak to the experience. But yeah, it just is a little bit distracting when the other, when everything else about the look is just so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:43:49 And bleaching eyebrows, it's not like a beautiful look. It's an intense, like, fashion look. I feel like people just do it to be fashion. If she had leaned into just, like, ethereal beauty, like, it just would have been over the top. but it's still really amazing. Agreed. But it's also like how she carries herself.
Starting point is 00:44:05 So much about it. Like Kendall, that's why I say like anyone, if Kendall wore anyone's dress here, she'd be best dressed because she just like carries herself like the best dressed. And Kendall was wearing a couple of people were wearing Gap, Zach Posen for Gap, which is just a crazy gap at the Mac Gala.
Starting point is 00:44:21 But every look I saw of his was actually really good. Yeah. And she was his date. Next we have Alex Concelling. I just feel like this is a safe, boring dress. Like I said, if you wanted to be in theme, you just wore a corset. And so she's wearing like a pretty corset dress. And with a classic.
Starting point is 00:44:39 Like this is a real nipple, though. Yeah, with like a classic big dress, a big jacket. Yeah, the silhouette is pretty classic. But I guess everyone else was wearing fake nipples. Yeah. She pulled out a real one. True. I have to say, Rachel Sinat from I Love L.A., who's up next.
Starting point is 00:44:53 I loved her outfit. Like, it's so different. Like, I get it. Like, I love it. I do. That's really funny. I don't know her. Oh, she's like the Gen Z girl.
Starting point is 00:45:04 Yeah, yeah. And I don't know her outfit. And I respect it. But you know what? I'm not like, it's not for me personally. It's not my taste. But I could see how it's on theme. Next up we had Gracie Abrams and Chanel.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Hate, hate her hair. But you know that she's referencing Woman in Gold. Clint. I said I hate her hair. Okay. Hate her hair. And no, I didn't know that. It's like it's whatever.
Starting point is 00:45:29 I just feel like. like she's not worthy to reference woman in goal given like all the history of the picture. Yeah, I agree. Yeah. I needed to be a Jew ass where a Scalcadot. Is she a Jew? No. Are you sure?
Starting point is 00:45:40 Positive. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I actually thought she was a Jew and she wasn't worthy. But that doesn't change my stance. She's not worthy. It's a beautiful dress, a beautiful reference. But she's like not my favorite.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Chris Jenner and Dolce obsessed. Like it's just, it's so Chris. it is so Chris Joe Burrow Like looking weird and out of place Considering he's the second man we've spoken about I think that he looks good You know he must feel funny
Starting point is 00:46:12 Definitely You know he feels funny I saw a picture of him Like a video of him taking a picture with his teammate He's probably like this is so silly Are you embarrassed? Are you embarrassed? Siza
Starting point is 00:46:24 There's a lot It's a lot Yeah I feel like it could have been a little less Yeah There's just a lot. Oh, okay. Chase Infinity.
Starting point is 00:46:33 She's up there with Best Dress. I feel like everyone's talking about her dress. She's up there with whomst for me. With who? Whompsed? Yeah, she's like new up and coming actress. I asked Liz and Liz gave me a response that I had no idea what it was. She was just on the Oscar circuit.
Starting point is 00:46:47 She was in one battle after another. She's like an up and coming like big timey actress. And I fucking love her dress. Liz had a typo because I'm like, I don't know what. She said she's from one Barry after another. One battle. I'm like, what's one Barry? I really don't know anything.
Starting point is 00:47:03 She looks, I just love this dress. And you know what's shocking is that it's Tom Brown? And I feel like any outfit I've ever seen of Tom Brown is the ugliest thing ever. And the fact that he made this like insanely beautiful, colorful, bright dress that's like perfect for her. Yeah. I was shocked. She looks very nice. Bad Bunny wore Zara, which is insane.
Starting point is 00:47:21 I guess like an old man. Explain. I can't. I think that also Zara is now, it's like John Gagliana. One of those. Like for Zara, kind of how Zach Post. and forget. I don't get it at all, so sorry.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I just don't understand my little told. And then there was a video of him saying hi to Chris and Kim, and it looks like they're giving him the cold shoulder because he's Kendall's ex, but I think it's really because they don't recognize him. I had no idea who it was until Lala interviewed him. How would we ever know who that is? And like literally, God forbid, Vogue put the names on the live stream.
Starting point is 00:47:49 That would have solved the problem. Right. So, yeah. Oh, next we have Dochi. She looks really amazing. Yeah, very like Greek goddess. Yeah, very beautiful. beautiful. But, you know, last year she went viral for like yelling and everyone.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Oh, yes. That video popped up on my Instagram this morning, making the rounds again. Very awkward. Hopefully she didn't yell as much this year. I don't know, Jeremy Pope, but I love his blouse. Yeah. A couple of men, Justin Jefferson. Like, I really don't care about the men. Yeah, we can skip ahead to Daisy, Edgar Jones and Alexander McQueen. Boring. Boring, but beautiful. Tessa Thompson and Valentino. Pretty. Pretty. Pretty. with Jasmine 2 because there's just like a lot of people wearing pretty dresses like I don't see.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Oh, Jasmine Shoots looks really beautiful though. Oh, Louisa Jacobson. I kind of love what she's wearing. This is the first time I'm seeing it and I don't know who she is. Is she not? She looks like Gilded Age girl. Oh, maybe. The Gilded Age girls look so different in person.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I'm just skipping to like a couple of more interesting people and I don't know a lot of these people and I also don't care. Yeah. Oh, let's go to Madonna. Madonna wore this like insane dress hat trumpet with eight girls. as she took up the whole carpet. And she literally recreated an entire painting. Yeah, which is cool.
Starting point is 00:49:09 Yeah, it was very cool. I enjoyed it. And I like when people come with, like, you know, staff. And, like, not everyone can do it. And everyone, please don't do it. Like, we only have so much a lot of time on the carpet. And I don't give a fuck. But if you're going to do it, like, this is a good way to do it.
Starting point is 00:49:23 And I think Madonna's a good candidate. She's earned the right to take up our time. Absolutely. Only a few people can. Like Lady Gaga when she did it. Rihanna, when she did it. when she did the big yellow fur jacket. Let's go that to Tate McCray. People were like kind of gagged by Tate McCray.
Starting point is 00:49:37 She looks insane. Her body is, as the kids say, T. Yeah. She does look very beautiful. She looks like the fluffer from Beauty and the Beast. Yeah. The feather duster. Flufette.
Starting point is 00:49:52 Plumet, something like that. Yeah. I want to talk about Blake Lively next. She showed up. I had, I never in my life thought she was going to come. Like I was shocked. And my first thought was good for her. You just know she's in hell.
Starting point is 00:50:05 She has to just keep doing stuff to move on, especially now they release a statement. We'll talk about it. There's not going to trial. It's over. She had to go. And she is kind of like Met Gala Queen. Her dress is sick.
Starting point is 00:50:16 Yeah. And it's like she's taking up a lot of space physically with her dress, as she usually does. It's not like she's coming in quietly. Now she wasn't with Ryan. But I think this is one place that's really like her place. I think her and Anna and the fashion board are still tight so she's most welcome here and she should go.
Starting point is 00:50:33 Unless she's going quietly into the night, like she needs to go. And she was like literally on her best behavior because, you know, they film you going up the stairs and a lot of time you have handlers and it's a stressful thing. I think it's hot in there. Everyone's picking up your dress. You can't move till they pick up your dress. She was like, oh, thank you so much. Yes, yes, yes, this.
Starting point is 00:50:49 And then she was interviewing Lala and she was like, I actually felt bad for her. She was, sorry, she was being interviewed by Lala. I actually felt bad for her. She was just like really putting on. And I think it's probably nerve-wracking to like be doing interviews again. but she was like talking to Lala about her purse, which was Judith Lieber. And they wanted to like replicate art on it.
Starting point is 00:51:05 So she actually had her kids do like a bunch of watercolors and then they made a purse of it. Like whatever. And Lala was like, that's great. That's great. Like it was just, it was painful. You got to start somewhere. You exactly.
Starting point is 00:51:15 I'm glad she went like seriously good for her. And she looks very beautiful and the dress is beautiful. She slays. Yeah. And it's Versace. Russell Wilson and Sierra looking great. Like he does like Luke's well. It's hard to be like a.
Starting point is 00:51:29 straight manly guy and like put on a costume but I think he looks great and I think it's even better when you're like with your wife who's going to hold it down and then you just hit the accents which I feel like he did they look great especially together um I'm scrolling just because I don't care about a lot of these people I don't know yeah we had you know the obligatory models showing up in the fashion as they should designers Amelia gray was there um I actually didn't see her until this roundup so she didn't really make an impact. She wore a black dress. The Pelt's Beckham's weren't there. Oh, huge Miss Opportunity. Grace Gummer. What's her name? Caroline Kennedy from. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Oh, Sarah Pigeon, too, wore such a bad look. Like, I feel like it was such a missed opportunity. She wore, like, literally something, like, it's like, it looks like it's from Revolved. But, like, to me, she's the exact type who got invited with a designer and is wearing what she's told. She does not hold really sway. I guess, but it's just a miss opportunity because she's one of the it girls of this year. Yes, oh, for sure. But, like, that's just, you know, she's happy to be there. I thought, I really like Carly Clause's dress.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Oh, that's so funny. I was just about to say, Carly Clause looking like a ball sack. I thought she looked so beautiful. I really liked how it moved. I really liked the dress, actually. I like the shoes. Elizabeth DeBecky wore flats.
Starting point is 00:52:49 Queenie. Unless she looks beautiful. Oh, my God. I so don't agree. And I, the flats, I get it, you know, because she's the statue. and they do wear flats. Oh, Rachel Zegler.
Starting point is 00:53:01 She did the art. Yeah, a lot of people were like freaking out that she wore something over her eyes. I just assumed it was like some reference so I have no problem like with the weirdness. I have to watch a video of her posing. And you can see in this picture that Vogue, it's a lot of job.
Starting point is 00:53:15 She looks insane. Yeah, I saw it. Sarah Paulson we've already discussed. Loser sneeze. Oh, also one of my worst dress, Ms. Cher. I just feel like I just feel like that can't be worse dressed
Starting point is 00:53:30 you know yeah I mean I haven't gotten to her yet but I feel like we're at the bottom of the list with like irrelevance so we don't need to keep going is Heidi Klum so she's definitely my worst dressed yeah I would I would say so too like she was literally
Starting point is 00:53:43 like she actually dressed up like a statue and not in like a fashionable way but like in a costume way yeah so I just feel like it's such a high class affair and the fact that she wore something that she could have worn to her like really tacky Halloween party is so bad. This should be like I feel like if you dress poorly enough, you should be kicked out like from never. And like to me, that's what Heidi Klum. So she is my worst dress.
Starting point is 00:54:09 And I guess I'm staying with my original picks. Haley Bieber is my best dress. And it's so some of the after party looks were sick. Haley and Kendall leaving that hotel. I feel like my like I'm so boring because it's always like Haley and Kendall and like just like the boring like skinny like girls. But like I'm sorry, they slay every year. Yeah, they do. Did you see Sabine Getty?
Starting point is 00:54:26 I don't know who that is, but look up her dress. Of course I saw Sabine Getty with the ring. And the hand on the dress. I loved that dress. I wish that someone like more known wore it just so like everyone would be talking about it. Like if Kendall or Haley or Kylie wore that dress, not that I would change either of their looks, but like then they would be for sure best dressed.
Starting point is 00:54:45 I just really, really loved that dress. And people should look it up if you haven't seen it. It's just funny because like Vogue them. released a best dressed look and I feel like half the people, a list, excuse me, and the people that I would have thought were going to be on it or not. Like, it's so subjective. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, it is. And I feel like a lot of people, like, you give guesses before, like who you think is going to be on the best dress list and everybody, like, I've been on like polymarket. You could have predicted who, like. Yeah, no, I think they had predictions for
Starting point is 00:55:18 best dress at the Met Gala. Okay. And so like here were the people. And I feel like, Vogue, like, kind of goes rogue. Like Nicole Kidman, I wouldn't say best dressed. Doja Cat, I wouldn't say best dressed. Alex Kansani, a lot of people predicted on Polly Market and she was on the best dress list. Same with Rihanna, but that's easy. That's easy. But then some people, it's hard because you don't even know if people are going to show up. Like a lot of people on Polly Market predicted that Lady Gaga and Travis Kelsey would be on the best trust list and they weren't even there. Yeah. That's fun. That is really fun. Oh, Chapel Rone also people thought, but she was not there either. Miss Chap. But Beyonce, Sabrina Carpenter. Oh, and Gwendolyn
Starting point is 00:55:55 Misty, did you see her love our queen? Yes. The Oathkeeper. She made Vogue's best dress list, and I was really surprised to see her there. Yes, I thought she looked great and very on theme. Kendall Jenner, Kim. Kendall Jenner is always a safe choice, as for me is Kylie.
Starting point is 00:56:13 That's a fun way to predict on Polly Market. Polymarket is available in the U.S. app store with culture markets launching really soon, so you'll be able to trade on all your favorite reality shows, slub, gossip, and everything in between. Download the app now and use code toast, the wait list and be the first in line when those markets go live. Thanks, Turdy.
Starting point is 00:56:29 Also, a couple more people at the bottom of this list, like Anne Hathaway, who was dressed like a vase, I believe. I saw people, like, living for this. And I just want to say I didn't like it. I'm not living for this. Okay. And Margot Robbie was very, like, demure and low key. I feel the way about her as I do, like, like, she goes to a lot of, like, Nicole
Starting point is 00:56:49 Kidman, she goes to a lot of Oscars. Like, this just looks like an Oscars dress. It's beautiful. Yeah, yeah, it's beautiful. And it's safe and nice and she didn't like reamette the wheel But she's not getting in any trouble No which is good I guess
Starting point is 00:57:01 Yeah I think my best dress She was Kylie Has it always been Yeah I love her I thought she looked beautiful Of course I love Kendall's I think Kylie's was a bit more ornate Oh you know who we didn't talk about
Starting point is 00:57:13 Who looked at Gourgiene Zoe Kravitz didn't show up with Harry And her left hand was in her pocket She looked Gourgien But she always looks Gorgine And I also felt like her dress I haven't seen the reference associated So I don't really know
Starting point is 00:57:25 but like it just felt like it's something you could wear like any year really. But I guess it was a romper. The same goes for Kendall and Kylie. And Janelle Monet, she was on Vogue's best dress list and she looked sick. She always looks like amazing and like she's so fashion. She takes the theme somewhere else and does the most. But yes, noticeably absent, no Instagramers, no TikTokers, no podcasters. No podcasters.
Starting point is 00:57:51 I thought that maybe Travis would be there because him and Jay in because I was thinking like the Bezos connection. They have a huge podcast network and they have a lot of really big shows like the smart list guys are there. New Heights is there. So I thought maybe we would get like some podcast talent. But no,
Starting point is 00:58:06 they really gate kept the internet folk away. They kept them away. Yeah, which I'm fine with. Just keep the bar like high for all talent across the board. Yeah. And like I like her, but like Cammy Mendez. Like how do you like how, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:58:19 Like this is not a person. She was there again. Yeah, who like represents the year, I feel. But maybe that's not what it is. No, but also. I feel like she earned her stripes to get invited for a couple years when Riverdale was this. Of course, they were all there. And now she's just like a fashion girl.
Starting point is 00:58:31 I'm sure the designer's like like dressing her. And she's just like a safe choice. Yeah, I guess. I thought Joey King also looked amazing. Oh, me too. I like Joey King and I thought Jake Shane was going to be there and he wasn't. Yeah, but no digital talent. Zero.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I thought that was, that's like a little bit of a miss. I feel like they should have had like two people. I feel like they either do so many, like let the floodgates in with all the YouTubers or like how about? Three. Yeah. Also, Cara Delavine was a host. I thought she looked really beautiful.
Starting point is 00:58:59 Yeah. So Ashley Graham, Caradeleveen, and Lala Anthony hosted the live stream. And it was mostly Lala holding it down. And thank God for that because she is so good at her job. And Minji. And Amanda Seafried, yeah. I love Amanda Seafreid's dress. But of course I do because it's pink.
Starting point is 00:59:15 Yeah. And I actually really like her look, even though she's Minji. Right. Okay. So that's your Meta Recap. Fun night. Hope everyone had fun. Hope some people fell in love.
Starting point is 00:59:29 Otherwise, what are you guys all doing there? Like, looking beautiful and hanging out. It's so true. And like, bring your boyfriends. Bring your boyfriends. I also, like, as we're looking at this list, I'm not seeing like a lot of like eligible bachelors. I don't really know these guys.
Starting point is 00:59:41 But like maybe Jeff had some friends or like some C-suite level executives. Oh, and there's a lot of attendees who don't get photographed. They just go in the regular entrance, you know, socialites, wealthy people who are not famous, I'm donors, people on the board. So yeah, I think that you could find a businessman, Bo, if you tried. Yeah, and so I think one of them, hopefully, like, to be shining to Sabrina. And maybe she's going out on a date this week with someone with a billionaire. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:05 Love that. Yeah. So jolly good show. And all in all, like my sentiment is like everyone looked really beautiful. This was a beautiful night. Like not even clown-like, whereas usually it's like, it's giving capital Hononger games. No, and some themes, people like just really don't know what to do with themselves. This was like a kind of a boring theme.
Starting point is 01:00:25 But that like inspired beautiful looks. Yeah. Yeah. All in all I had a good time. Yeah. Okay. Our next story, which is like another big story from today is that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled their epic.
Starting point is 01:00:39 It ends with us lawsuit. So yesterday after a year and a half of bitter feuding in court and in the press, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have resolved their legal differences two weeks ahead of a federal trial. Lively had accused Baldoni. of sexual harassment, instead of their 2024 film, it ends with us. She also alleged that when she raised complaints about it, he and his army of publicists engage in a digital smear campaign
Starting point is 01:01:01 to retaliate. And a carefully crafted joint statement released on Monday, the parties expressed their feelings about moving on. Quote, the end product, the movie, is a source of pride to all of us who work to bring it to life, raising awareness and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors, and all survivors is a goal that we stand behind. We acknowledge
Starting point is 01:01:17 the process presented to challenges and recognized concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard. We remain firmly committed to work place to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments. It is our sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online. So I think this is great. I'm like a little upset that after all this, like we're not even getting a trial.
Starting point is 01:01:42 But I don't, it's giving we're both wrong. If somebody has a huge case, like you're not settling, especially if you feel like you really want to get your name cleared and vindicated. So it's giving like nobody how to like to stand on, I guess. But also sometimes when you settle, like someone does get paid and does get what they're looking for. Well, the details of the settlement are not made public. I would like to know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:04 So we don't know that because that's also winds up being like some sort of admission. In some cases, in other cases it's like just go away. I would literally pay you to go away. Yes. And I think some celebrities like really feel vehemently like against doing that because it does indicate at least like I think for me like if you're paying someone to be quiet, it's because you did something. Yeah. Not always. Depends on the amount you paid.
Starting point is 01:02:25 But we won't know. Even though technically, it wasn't necessarily Blake lively and Justin Baldoni settling. It was Blake lively and his company. Because as of a couple of weeks ago, the charges or whatever against him were dropped by the judge. Yeah. So I actually think she probably had a bit of a case just like HR-wise with the company. And so maybe they settled for that reason. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:51 But I also think the longer this drags on, it's not good for either of them. It's not getting better for either of them. And it's not going to get by there for either of them. They should have done this one year ago, like I fucking said. And now they can start to pick up the pieces, you know? Like I fucking said. I literally said, like, they're ruining each other. No one's going to come out smelling like roses here.
Starting point is 01:03:12 I know. And hopefully Justin Baldoni had the foresight to see that, like, the only place for him to go is down. Like, people are loving him. They're believing him. but like the public opinion is so finicky and people just get like so group think. Like so you know what? Making it go away is wise for all them
Starting point is 01:03:27 because it can't get any worse for Blake lively. Yeah. And I do think they're both a little bit right and a little bit wrong. And on some points, point to Blake and on some points point to Justin. I agree. The issue I really do have is like
Starting point is 01:03:40 with how people very so very quickly and easily like we're like swayed into hating Blake lively and how she literally overnight became the most hated woman in America. Yeah. And you know me. I'm like always going to defend my fellow woman. So how do you feel about like this settlement, putting it to bed?
Starting point is 01:03:55 Like what does this mean for you? I feel good. I hate having an unpopular opinion. Like I keep getting asked about it and it's just like sending more hate my way. So I'm glad that I never have to share my unpopular opinion. And I'm sure people are glad that they never have to hear it. Yeah. And also we can all sort of like agree to disagree.
Starting point is 01:04:09 No one's right. No one's wrong. The people who were like writing for Justin and writing for Blake. Like I don't know where we channel all that energy now because I do still feel like the energy exists. and we just all have to like move on. But yeah, this is like a no win situation and no one one. No, zero.
Starting point is 01:04:25 And I feel the most interesting part is like I'm very curious to see how Blake lively, if Blake Livey and I think based on last night she will like return to public life and how her cue score will either, you know, decrease or increase. Justin Baldoni like wasn't that big of a star before. And if anything, he's probably come out on the other side. Like more famous and maybe a little bit more well liked by his fans. Like, you know, they're a zealous group. Like ride or die.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Yeah, I am really curious of how she comes back from this, if at all. People really just fucking hate her. I feel like for her, it will come down to whether or not she has, like, good friends in this industry who will take up for her and put her in movies and cast her and stuff and give her deals or whatever. Because she can go to any event she wants and, you know, she can post on Instagram as much as she wants. Like, if she's going to be in the next Star Wars, you're going to fucking see Star Wars. Yeah, but the thing is, she never really was. She wasn't like a major actress. She's like gossip girl.
Starting point is 01:05:20 I know. And she's done like some of the worst movies ever. But now she's going to like have to get back to work in a meaningful way. She has to be in Transformers. Yeah. She needs to be like a major Marvel. Yeah, I do think that her and Ryan have deep roots in the industry and people like him. I think that's what got her into trouble.
Starting point is 01:05:33 I'm ever bringing Hugh Jackman to the meeting. Taylor Swift. Like to me that's just that's an issue. The Taylor thing. It doesn't, it really does not help her case. What if Taylor came to you and said Claudia? like she's like you have to get off team to Blake. Great.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Where do I sign up? Do you think I give a fuck about these people? So you're saying Taylor came to me. Yeah, right. No, Taylor's coming to me. Where, where is this happening? Like, I don't really care. I don't know these people at all.
Starting point is 01:06:01 Like, this means something to me. So you're team Taylor more than your team Blake. Yeah, of course. And so like I do. I just like I genuinely have empathy for Blake. Like to become the most hated woman in America because like you felt that you were sexually harassed. Like that's insane, you know?
Starting point is 01:06:14 but like the losing your best friend like what what like what did you do to Taylor like seriously that that's the most confounding part and what if it's really even though I don't believe that this is otherwise Taylor's supposed to really like the worst person ever if it's really that like her friend was you know in all this drama and she didn't want to be caught up
Starting point is 01:06:30 and she dropped her like I just don't think that's the case especially because there's like depositions and stuff like Taylor is like slightly involved like that meeting so there's more there than just oh I don't want to be friends with you and Taylor literally could never be that person because Blake and Ryan were like one of the very few from like that
Starting point is 01:06:49 girl gang era and then she got canceled reputation one of the remaining feel like a lot of people forget who she used to be friends with Zendaya like people she never speaks to again so they are ride or die yeah and it's crazy because like when Taylor I can't think about it too hard yeah but it's crazy because when like Taylor and her were best friends like I didn't really like Blake so I was like oh can she have like a better friend and now like I kind of like Blake you should and I'm like yeah wouldn't be great if they were friends like I'm like yeah wouldn't be great if they were friends my two girls. But don't you think it's weird that Taylor's lost like at least two like best friends this year, Kelly and Blake? Kelly's different. I'm sorry. Like Kelly and her were so fast, so
Starting point is 01:07:28 furious. They were friends for like literally less than a year. That's not the same as Blake. No, you told me they were friends for a long time. Did I? Yeah, because I remember thinking they or their friendship started from that video, um, with Miles. I thought that was. Yeah. But you said no. They were friends for longer. Yeah, I think so. When did I say that? But we were talking about it. But that's not what I think. So why would I say that? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:52 Were they? No. I thought that's when it started. I don't think so. No, that remains one of the great mysteries of my life. Yeah. And, yeah. No, but Taylor's, I think at a certain level, like, it's just hard to keep friends, to be honest.
Starting point is 01:08:10 Like, you are so famous and so rich and, like, so culturally impactful that, like, it's not like, you know, breeding grounds for long-term female. friendships. There's a lot of jealousy, you know, disloyalty, betrayal. I don't know. I don't know. I understand. So it sounds like you're sort of alluding to Taylor being the problem. I have to leave space for it. I'm not saying that. But I have to like, I have to consider it. I have to consider it. Of course. You have to. Okay.

Starting point is 01:13:05 and your hairline, Got to be wax stick. Thank you, Turt to be. Oh, I'm wearing the Got to be wax stick right now. Oh, good. Yeah. in this little updo that I have going on. Also, I'm cracking up because look at the front page of the Daily Mail right now.
Starting point is 01:13:20 Just go to DailyMail.com. What is it about Lauren Sanchez Bezos? No, it's... DailyMail.com. Is it made? No, no, no. It's about Blake Lively snapping at the red carpet helpers. Oh, Blake Lively snaps at Metcala Red Carpet Helpers and Wild Diva moment after settling legal battle.
Starting point is 01:13:35 She really didn't. Like, she's just telling people how to touch her dress. Yeah, but that's crazy. That's literally the fun page of the world news, not even like, entertainment. She is so hated. I'm sorry. I feel bad for her.
Starting point is 01:13:48 People don't understand. Like I'm an empath and I'm a woman who supports other women. And so yeah, I feel bad for Blake lively and so she has my support. And you just know, even if she's the biggest bitch on the planet, she wasn't about to be a bitch last night publicly. Right after she buries and she's been in this legal drama for a year and a half, like nothing out of her mouth.
Starting point is 01:14:07 You weren't going to catch her in a bitchy moment. So the fact that they're trying to make something of this is really infuriating for her when she was on her best behavior. Absolutely. Our next story is an article that came out in Vulture, The Masterminds of Reality TV. So Vulture has put together a roundup. He gets his dick-up.
Starting point is 01:14:26 It's like a list. A list of the 30 most powerful people in reality TV in 2026. And I want to talk about this for two reasons, because one, I think the list is deeply flawed. And two, there's drama with Nick from Love Island. So let's talk about it. Okay. So the list.
Starting point is 01:14:43 includes 30 stars, executives, hosts, podcasters, and franchises that are shaping the future of television's most tantalizing genre. So here is... And I just think it's a crazy list. Sorry, I keep cutting off. You go. No, I'm going to read to you the list. And I just want to say the list is, I think, poorly done because, like, there's so many fucking randoms on there. And then I'm, like, surprised that somebody like Andy Cohen would sit for this while he's on a list with, like, Amaya papaya. It makes no sense. I know. So Amaya and Nick from this season of Love Island were both on the list. I can't keep getting locked out of this fucking list.
Starting point is 01:15:18 I think that those are both like poor choices. This is just a show that aired a year ago and their cultural impact is not really relevant anymore. And like they're not shaping for what this list said, what you just described, they're not shaping the reality, the future of reality TV. No, they're not. And pick one person from this season of Love Island. If you must.
Starting point is 01:15:36 I would pick Elandria. It's possible that she didn't know this list was going to be a big deal and turned it down. But I certainly would not pick Nick, who's just riding her coattails. And I would not pick Amaya, who did not mastermind anything. She just sort of accidentally fell into being America's sweetheart. Because, like, Ace was mean to her once and everybody hated everyone else. Like, she did not mastermind. No, but, like, the show is over.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Like, no, I can't remember any of these people's names. They're on this turt beyond the villa show. Like, it's not. But what's interesting is that it's clear that whoever wrote the article about Nick is a a Nicolandria truther. And I just want to say I love her because the article about them. about Nick calls him just like a strategic, basically using a lot of nice words to call him
Starting point is 01:16:18 like a moocher, referenced the fact that they were coupled up for a week and decided that they have no chemistry and they don't like each other. So they're in this fake relationship, this business partnership. Yeah, basically saying riding her coattails. Nick then tweeted like, you know,
Starting point is 01:16:30 you flew me out like, you know, shoot me half naked and write these mean things about me. He like tweeted about it. Oh, yeah, why I just want to say, slay to the person who wrote it. Like finally, the Nicolandria truthers will be heard. I just want to say as much as I agree with their assessment that he pivoted from his connection to, you know, go with what the fandom was feeling.
Starting point is 01:16:48 I actually felt like they were trying to give him credit as a mastermind. As a strategic person, yeah. As someone, because like the intro of the article is like these people, you know, know how to move the show forward and are going to keep you engaged and blah, blah, blah. So they were actually like, I think just trying to drill home their point that he's a mastermind of reality television, not that he's a userer. Correct. So he should be insulted like for a different reason, but not actually they were trying to give him like some credit of him being. smart um whatever here's who else is on the list we have jesse jrifer from secret lives and mormon wives i'll i agree i agree because even if i mean it doesn't age like great after the voice
Starting point is 01:17:24 note right now but like she is still moving reality tv forward what they're doing on that show is game changing if even if you take the voice note at its worst like that actually makes her even more of a mastermind right yeah no no her place on the list is not questioned this list like really didn't have any judgment like if you're the worst person on your show like no it's It was really meant to be like the people who are keeping you like hooked on reality TV. So Jesse Draper, yes. We had Lindsay Hubbard from Summerhouse. Yes.
Starting point is 01:17:52 Was Sierra on the list? No. Ariana Maddox is on the list as a host. No, I think that's wrong. Like maybe at one point, but sorry, this is not a person who was ever really moved reality TV forward. She's just like fell into this situation. But I do think that they could have used her as like a symbol of Love Island and not had the other two, but to dedicate three spots to Love Island
Starting point is 01:18:12 when it's like not even on the air right now and the cast changes every season. Right. And I heard that somebody else is hosting this season. I don't know if that's true. Oh, I heard she's hosting. Oh, we'll say. It remains to be seen.
Starting point is 01:18:24 Nick Vyle showed up for the podcasters. Perfect casting. I think if you're going to have one podcaster for reality TV, that feels fair. It does feel fair. It could have also been Alex Cooper because she does often. Reality now.
Starting point is 01:18:34 But like, she does some reality. Nick does really like all reality. All. You know, they watch it. everything. I approve. We have Whitney Carson from Dancing with the Stars. Approved. We have NeNeely Leaks. Approved. Even though she hasn't been on reality TV for a while, her legacy remains unchecked.
Starting point is 01:18:52 It's true. And she is returning and it was a big deal. Yes, but it does feel like a couple years late. I cannot get into the article because I'm not subscribing to Vulture. But we also have Tiffany Pollard. Yeah, same thing as Nini. like yes her impact is undeniable but a little overdue yeah and it's not they this is like the 2026 year so they could have just been like you know reality star hall of fame that would have been more accurate kathy hilton also like love her but i don't think she's moving reality tv into the future
Starting point is 01:19:29 another accidental queen of reality tv she's not mastermindy Alan cummings was on as yes and he is a mastermind andy cohen obviously obviously a mastermind. Michelle Vassage, I know you don't know who that is, but she's like one of the long time. I do from Drag Race. Rupal's Drag Race. And she's honestly legendary. That's a good one. So not everyone sat for this photo shoot because I'm not seeing like these picks of like Kathy Hilton. No, they all have their own covers. So I'm going through the covers on Instagram. On one cover now they have Taylor Hale, Ezra Sosa and Parvati Shallow. Ezra Sosa. Ezra is from Dancing with the Stars. So they are too dancing with the stars people. But like I didn't feel like he was like the the diamond of.
Starting point is 01:20:09 the season. Parvati Shallow is from Survivor. We also have Kristen from Top Chef and Traders. She's the host of Top Chef, so like, fine. And Brooks Mark's Question Mark. Oh, right. Brooks Marks. Brooks Question marks. This list is turned.
Starting point is 01:20:27 Yeah. I like the idea of the list. By the way, so they have Riley Burris, who's Candy Burris' daughter, and on NextGen, I think also with Brooks. So NextGen is a show that literally has three viewers, and they have two people on this list. The list is flawed. The premise is good.
Starting point is 01:20:44 Ryan Surnan, I agree. Stacey Rush, who is from Real House as a Potomac and Kristen from Top Chef are on one. Then Whitney Carson and Amaya. Like, I don't understand Amaya. Oh, that's it. Okay. Yeah. Poorly done.
Starting point is 01:20:58 I honestly, I give it a three out of ten. Yeah, but they were trying to do something. How Brooks Marx and Andy Cohen are on the same list. Like, I just, I don't get a. No, me neither. And they were really toggling between. like Hall of Fame and this year. They're confused.
Starting point is 01:21:14 Yeah, bad list. Try again. Try again next year. But they did like sexy cover shoots and. Yeah, no, it could have been great. Like there are some legendary. There was budget. Absolutely.
Starting point is 01:21:25 Yeah. Our next story, a trend that's happening, Pussycat dolls are canceling their reunion tour in North America after taking an honest look at week ticket sales. So a couple of people that canceled and postponed tours this week. Post Malone. Post Malone. Post Malone.
Starting point is 01:21:40 Postalone by three weeks. and because he says he's like working on his new music. Just plan better. I believe that. Yeah, I believe that though because it's clear when somebody's canceling for poor ticket sales or not. And post-cate-tals are obviously planned canceling because of poor ticket sales. I don't know who they thought.
Starting point is 01:21:54 There is no like fandom. No, there's not. And like the people who are like me, like we're at home. Like we're not just like taking in a concert like for the fun of it right now. Like it's got to be. Megan trainer. Pit bull. I do think that like with outside streaming numbers,
Starting point is 01:22:10 TikTok, I think it leads a lot of people to thinking that they have more fans than they do. And it can be, I imagine, like, kind of confusing to book a tour these days. Because you could have like so many followers on TikTok, so many streams. And sometimes it just doesn't translate. Yeah. Yeah. There's not like a rule. There's not an algorithm to follow that's going to help you figure out how many people are going to show up.
Starting point is 01:22:33 Yeah, it's true. So Pussy Cat Dolls were the latest to cancel their tour. I didn't even know that this was happening. I did because did you see the viral video of Nicole Scherzinger? No. Oh my god you will love this. So she was asked a question. It was kind of a pointed question. I forget exactly what it was. On like a good morning type of oh here listen they asked her a question and she actually could not answer. After they found out that you guys were coming back as a trio not as the original group. Oh yeah the other girls aren't coming back. How did you arrive at that decision? How did you arrive at that decision?
Starting point is 01:23:09 Well, I mean Listen We are just We are like We are so As women today I mean it has been And then the other girl chops it
Starting point is 01:23:23 How fucking funny Is that because there is drama with the other girls It's just like really cursed And Cole Scherzinger is like so successful right now And like very high bro fields Like what is she doing? I know I think maybe she thought it would be like a cash grab And then it had a completely opposite effect
