Starting point is 00:00:09 It's Jackson, Claude and every show The Fast Five Things You Need to Know We'll start your day off, Swirley, it's the Toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and Happy, Why are we having such a hard time this week? Tuesday? Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:00:29 It is Humph-day. Don't forget to have someone you love. And speaking of somebody that I love, is Shuckling Phile. I love us Phile. Thank you so much for taking the time to join our show. Of course. I always take the time.
Starting point is 00:00:37 You actually like I'm someone who doesn't take the time. I know. We're not like a guest-based show, so like sometimes it's fun to welcome people to the show. You like to pretend that I'm your guest. Yes. And you do have like sort of like multiple sides to you. And it's like kind of like a new guest every day. Really? I feel like I'm so like rock solid. You know what I mean? Very dynamic. Thank you so much. You have multiple personalities. I have multiple rocks. Cura. My solid. So if I was your guest like what would you want to be interviewing me about? I wouldn't because I want to talk about myself and something that happened to me today. So maybe I should say welcome to the toast. Oh so you know. You're stealing my I intro. Thank you Claudia for joining us today. Claudia, tell us about yourself. Well, I want to talk about...
Starting point is 00:01:16 I want to talk about something that happened yesterday at Valentine's Day. Okay. The flowers. Yeah. What? You were saying it like something I don't know. Like you were about to tell me a story.
Starting point is 00:01:27 Well, you kind of don't know. I don't. What happened in your house? I told a story on the toast yesterday that like Ben also told on his podcast and his version was like, oh, slam dunk on Claudia, like... Okay. So obviously... I also can't believe that if we hadn't just happened to mention...
Starting point is 00:01:43 in this stupid flower thing that you would never know that he said that on good guys. Yeah, so, yeah, right, because I don't listen to their show. So I told a story, if you're not familiar with this saga, yesterday that, like, on Valentine's Day,
Starting point is 00:01:55 we were at Jackie's house and Jackie got flowers and I yelled at Ben for not getting me flowers, but turns out they were at home and we just weren't home and they were very beautiful and I had to apologize. And then Ben went on his podcast saying that when we were at your house
Starting point is 00:02:05 and Zach sent you flowers, it reminded Ben that he didn't get flowers and so we went into the other room in that moment, ordered flowers and then they were there when I got home. And like, obviously, I knew that. Like I was trying to protect my husband, like, by trying to make him look good. He's like disgustingly honest. So yeah, the man forgot to get me flowers. Imagine how many years
Starting point is 00:02:22 that we went together? 15. No, not a single flower. And then he had to like, and then this is just like where you're going to piss me off because I am all about like a fiscal conservatiness. And because Ben went so nuts and didn't get flowers, he had to then overcompensate. So instead of like a normal person getting like three dozen roses he got seven um it was seven hundred dollars on flowers that I threw out two days ago so like that's dumb yeah so not only are you forgetful but you're also irresponsible like jail twice two life sentences yeah so yeah guys I know it wasn't like a big oh look dirty like I knew I was like really sweet I you know like I lay it all out here on the podcast like to a point like I'm trying to protect my family like I had no I just want you to know I really I bought what you
Starting point is 00:03:07 were selling yeah and like I make like my like my bones on like making fun of Ben. So like sometimes I try to protect him and just like not everything needs to be shared. And in his defense, he was like, well, I assumed you were just going to tell the story on the podcast. I'm like, no, I protected you. You didn't protect yourself. Like, I can't help you there. Your protection ends here. Oh, yeah. No more secret service. Also, I'm sure the florist like has upcharges people who ordered, like who forgot to order flowers. And they definitely have extra flowers that they know there's going to be people who need them same day. And you could charge like 3x for delivery. You can literally charge 3x. That is a desperate person.
Starting point is 00:03:41 talking to. Yeah. Lish. Extremely desperate. And the funny thing was that Ben has started to like, not keep Shabbat, but on Saturdays he's been turning his phone off to, like, be more present and like connect with the Lord. And I think it's great.
Starting point is 00:03:54 So Valentine's Day was on a Saturday and he had to use my phone behind my back. Like not on my phone, on using my minutes to call the floor. Watch how he like, didn't know his credit card number. Put it on my credit card. So he probably went into your Apple pay. Thousand percent. Thousand percent. So that's what I get from trying to protect my husband.
Starting point is 00:04:11 duly noted won't happen again okay well thank you for your honesty though you were dishonest with us yes i wasn't dishonest i like wanted to share funny scrape but i don't need to lay no i understand i hate this whole like you have to like lay your whole life out online to be an authentic influencer okay i'm not no but it's been 24 hours and i told the truth and she told the truth yeah so that's what because you also could have continued being dishonest yeah but now i look like a fool oh i don't fucking think so. I don't fucking think so. Not today. She's nobody's fool. This foolishness ends here. Yeah. I also went to Target yesterday. Now I know what I'm going to say. Like this is not that it's an amazing magical place. It was such an amazing magical place and it was just really ruined
Starting point is 00:04:52 by the fact that I had to pee. So I was like rushing through it when I really wanted to be leisurely. And it's funny how like day, not Target on a weekday is like a daycare. There were kids everywhere. Like I guess if you're like a single, not a single, sorry, a stay at home mom or you're like home with your kids. like you're just going to go to Target. Yeah. You're going to put them in the cart and you're just going to wheel around for fun. I was like playing with kids. I felt we're not having a kid there.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Like I went by myself like for some meantime. They should do music class. They should do music class. Like they have a Starbucks. They need to open like a little gym or yeah. One of those gym places. Um, it was so magical. Like I loved, I haven't got to Target for convenience these days.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Like if I'm ordering for Target, Target online has the best delivery. You get same day delivery. Target Instagram. I know, but you pay an upcharge on Instagram. Target website. delivery, Target Circle. You could shop from the store locally and it comes directly. You could also like pick up and then get like one of the best spots.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Parking spots. Yeah. Sometimes I parked there when like I'm not picking up and the suitmate. Okay. Cuff me up. Wow. First she's lying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:50 She's bringing a law. Oh, and I did steal because I went to Target and I had a card of about a hundred things. I spent, yeah, I spent $400. I needed so many things. And it was self-checkout. So I did my best. I didn't realize you've been through that.
Starting point is 00:06:07 I did my best knowing that I probably wasn't scanning like each thing maybe correctly. And I just thought like that's the tax of making me self-checkout. Like I had multiple items. Like I bought like 10 onesies like baby onesies because we needed new pajamas. And I was scatting them all.
Starting point is 00:06:24 I didn't hear the beep every time. And I just thought self-checkout tax. I tried. Yeah. And that's the price. You should be paying me. I'm your employee now. That's the price of them no longer paying cashiers.
Starting point is 00:06:34 You're losing it on the self-checkout. And at this point, like, I'm a cashier. I want benefits. I want health insurance. I want this onesie. You're the checkout girl? When I was walking out, like, like, homes? Yes, I work in the market as a checkout girl.
Starting point is 00:06:45 When I was walking out, like, I heard a beat. And? And I said, self-checkout tax and I kept walking. Nobody stopped me. Okay. I spent $453. Like, I'm good. So Target, you heard all that.
Starting point is 00:06:59 Do one needs to be done? I'm a big fan, but there are improvements to be made. Okay. And I like how they all have Starbucks. A lot of them have Ulta's now. I love that. They should put a daycare or something. Like they would make bank.
Starting point is 00:07:10 Yeah. Bank. That's where the mamas like to go, the Reels Mamas. You guys, it was jam-packed with kids. Like, I felt like the only person they heard didn't have a kid with me.
Starting point is 00:07:18 And I felt weird. Rubele missed out. No, I felt like inappropriate. Like, it's like if I went to like a music class without a kid. Yeah. It's weird. So it was amazing.
Starting point is 00:07:28 I got some great stuff. Oh, good. I'm so glad. That I paid for, of course. I'm so happy for you. Zach and I took a field trip. yesterday we went to this design show in Palm Beach that's like a really big everyone's talking about it everyone's everyone's talking about it have you been to Kips Bay I'm like no I'm like
Starting point is 00:07:42 the movie theater that's what it's called in the city the Kips Bay well the neighborhood is called Kips Bay yeah but nobody goes there unless they're going to the movie theater yeah well unless you just graduated college yeah yeah nobody my age goes to Kips Bay unless you're going to the movie theater yeah or the fairway next door um and it was so cool Spritz was a sponsor so we were just like the bell of the ball you were kind of like the big wing yeah that's my memory yeah Yeah. Anyone want to sit? Yes.
Starting point is 00:08:06 We donated. And we vlogged, so I'm not going to, like, spoil everything of what we saw. But it was seriously sickening, like, really cool, talented stuff. I would find, like, an event like that upsetting. Because then, like, I have to go home to my house. That looks nothing like this fair. Fair. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:20 But the fair thing was, like, so cool. So it's in a house. All these designers, you have to be, like, selected. You get a room to design. And everyone does their own thing with it. They do their big one, of course. That's pretty cool. They literally put in new toilets if you get a bathroom.
Starting point is 00:08:32 And then what do they do with that house? afterwards. They leave it. It belongs to the owner. Like the owner who lent his house out, he then gets the house. Who was the owner of the house? I don't know. But then... Like a mansion? Yeah. And this time it was like two houses. It was like a mansion on the intercoastal and across the street a cottage. Like the guests. So cute. So cute. And every room is so different though. So I wonder if like... If it's annoying. No, or it's like maybe there's a couple rooms that they wind up just like taking some stuff down. This is a lot to live with all the time. But yeah, you got like a free insanely decorated house. And I wonder if that like that,
Starting point is 00:09:03 like increases the value of your home, kind of how like, you know, oh, this home was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. But this home was designed by 20 different designs. It was a part of the big festival. Yeah. Zach and I were discussing in the vlog, but I just thought that was so cool. That is really cool.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And they also do one in New York and Dallas. Really? Yeah. Like in a New York City apartment or a house? I feel like in an apartment city. That's cool. Yeah. Really cool.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Love that. Look at us just like expanding our interest. I haven't like, you know, done something culturally that wasn't like the museum. Yeah. Or looking at housemaid. We're going into the aquarium. Right.
Starting point is 00:09:34 We do a lot of cultural stuff, but it's always like for kids. Like for all science. Like I haven't done some cultural activity like for just an adult self. And it was very cool. Like oh, everyone's doing cool stuff. Love that. Oh, how cool. How good.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Well, speaking of culture, you know what else I got a target? What? And I would love to get your take on this. So Ben has been keeping Shabbat. Great. And he said he wants like a Shabbat book because he gets so bored. And a book would happen. He like refuses to do a Kindle.
Starting point is 00:10:00 He thinks it's like not the same. So when I was at Target, I'm like, let me find a book. for bed that I think he would be interested in. And in the past, when I've tried to get him to read, I've gotten memoirs. He did like Rich Paul's memoir. But other than that, like, it hasn't stuck. So I'm like, let me go fiction. So I was reading like a bunch of covers and I got him. Have you read remarkably bright creatures? No, I haven't. Okay, so I had heard of it. I've heard of it too. And it like, what? What? No, I just can't believe that's what you got for him.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Wait, why? Like, first of all, it's like, you know, part of the similar like crawdads of like literary fiction guys. Yeah, popular. Yes. And I think Dane's, and or Rebecca read it and it was not recommended. Shit, okay. Because if it were... There was Marine Life on the cover and Ben loves Marine Life and then I was reading the back
Starting point is 00:10:41 and it's like a thriller, somebody goes missing and then she also works in an aquarium which is Ben's dream to work in an aquarium. Okay. I think Ben might... It wasn't for me.
Starting point is 00:10:48 It wasn't for me. But I just like, it's a book that I should have read because it's like, you know, Zip-Gy book. Good reads. But it did not come recommended to me. In fact, it was not recommended to me.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Okay, but I think that might still make it a candidate for Ben. You and Ben are very different. And I like, I like what you're doing. Yeah, I tried. And, you know, books at Target, it's not Barnes & Noble. I feel like it's like airport books.
Starting point is 00:11:10 It's just the pot. Mel Robbins was all over the place and like a bunch of cookbooks, which I was going to get for bed. So I was limited. Like, I couldn't find like niche books. It was just the good reads Hot 100. Yeah, it's a good reads Hot 100. Let me know how it goes. I endorse his message.
Starting point is 00:11:27 He plans on only Saturdays. So it'll be like a couple of months before. Well, if he loves it, he will read it on Sunday as well. Yeah. And Monday and Tuesday until he finishes it, because that's what a good book does. If you're really only reading it every Saturday, then you don't like it. Yeah. And I can't pick up a book and then like days later or weeks later pick it up again.
Starting point is 00:11:48 I have forgotten the entire thing. And it just means I didn't like it. Like really. Yeah. If we're being real. If we're being honest. Because if I loved it, I can't put it down. Correct.
Starting point is 00:11:57 That's the thing about books. I'm about to read. So I'm hoping that Ben's book will get me to, I haven't read in months. Oh, I love that. And I did it more so for myself. Like I would love to. We have a TV schedule. You know,
Starting point is 00:12:09 tell me like Tuesdays. Yeah, last night was a light load. Right. So I'm thinking like we are in a heavy schedule with TV and like on the nights now Tuesdays have opened up. Like on the nights like that maybe we could read. And I thought if Ben had a book,
Starting point is 00:12:20 maybe I would then pick up my Kindle. That's so cute. And that's really goals like reading in bed with your partner. And then like putting on a moisturizer. And then also like you've both read each other's books so you could like talk about them. Right. You know who does that? My friend does that with Sam. Sam and Ben. Yeah. Well, they're both like really smart. Smart. But like in a book's way. Like, we're all smart. I think Dana and Josh probably do that. Like, he recommends a lot of books to her and like sometimes she'll even like
Starting point is 00:12:44 make them for the redheads. They like swap books. That's like elite living. That is living on a different planet than the one we're currently on. We just swap. We just swap. We just swap. We just swap. Bones. We just share memes. No, I want to get to a place where like we're moisturizing and reading. Yeah. In bed. And then like Ben like, we'll, like, we'll just swap. We just swap. We just swap. We just. We just. We just Ben, like, we'll take off his glasses. Yes, it's such a scene, right? His and her sides of the book, they're both, behind the sides of the bed, they're both reading.
Starting point is 00:13:06 She takes out her cream of white strizer. She's, like, rubbing her elbow. And they say, like, did you know Winston Churchill? Yada, yada. Like, I just want to know things. Yeah. Yeah. Goals.
Starting point is 00:13:16 Yeah. We'll get there. We'll see. No, like, that's really, okay, resolution. Resolution is you and bed reading. Well, you're on your way. He asked for a book. We're halfway there.
Starting point is 00:13:26 Yeah. You have to want. I'm not there. We're not there. All right. But actually, there was a book I wanted Zach to read, and he endeavored to read it over the course of multiple years. Oh, multiple years? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:37 He didn't like it. It was bad therapy by Abigail Shrier. I thought it was, like, really insightful. And he enjoyed what he read over multiple years. Does he reference it ever? Like, no. But like, every time we go somewhere, he brings it. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:13:52 That's so fucking cute. That's actually better than if he had finished it. Yeah. Even when we were dating, like, he would always, like, bring a book, like, if we went on a trip or something. Wow, I deeply relate to Zach in that way, because it's a book is also, like, an image thing. It's obviously nourishing the mind, but also having everyone around you know, like, yes, I read. Yeah, but, like, he would always, like, want to, he would always bring a book on the trip, and it was always the same book because he never actually read it.
Starting point is 00:14:16 And that's howling. Now that book is that book for him. Got it got it. Like his go-to. His marriage book, well, the book that he wants to read next. What was the book for? What was the first book? I think it was the one with the orange cover.
Starting point is 00:14:27 It was like... The Art of War? No. How to not give a fuck? Like, subtly... The art of not giving a fuck. The subtle art of not giving a fuck. Maybe that one.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Something like that. People who don't read own a copy of that book. I know. Because the funny thing is that... They think like that's the one you start with. Yes. Because I've been like talking like for years with Remy Bader
Starting point is 00:14:48 about how like I actually think she would love to read. Especially when she became really famous on TikTok, it was very bad for her mental health. And I was like, if you take a couple hours a day off your phone to read, I think it would be really good. for you. And you love like all the shows and everything. Like books are shows. And I've been dying. And she was like the one book she has and she's like, okay, I'm going to read it. She's always posting about this book. The orange subtle art of not giving a fuck. People think you need to start with that.
Starting point is 00:15:10 If you start with it, you will never read it. You're never going to continue. Just start with Colleen Hoover. Okay. Colleen Hoover is the gateway book. Yeah. I think Verity is the gateway book. Okay. I think that's a great recommendation. For me, the gateway book was recommended by you. it happened one summer. When I read that book, I was like, oh, I didn't know that books were like this. I didn't know we were reading like a rom-com books. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:35 And then also, seven husbands is a gateway book. It's just a little long. No, but that is really good. That's when I read books. I'm like, oh, this is what books are. My whole mindset on books was school. Yeah. Literature, boring.
Starting point is 00:15:51 We have to like find double meaning and everything. Is it a pencil or a penis? Like, I was like, this sucks. I didn't realize like that books were just TV. shows and TV shows are books. Yeah, and we could just read for fun. But you know what Margo said once? Margo Mawkesh.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Yeah, like a cute, insightful thing she once said when she talked about when she was the first one in the family reading. She was. She gets credit there. She gets really like annoyed when you don't share that. When we were on tour, she like would bring a Kindle and it was such a vibe killer. I'm like, can we go out? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:18 And like when we would go on family vacation up until like I started reading, like she would always like be in the bath reading. Like so she read first. Yeah. By the right, 100%. And she said that she likes reading over. TV shows because like you know what the character is thinking. That's very insightful.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Isn't that cute? It's not cute. I knew what I thought you were going to say, but. I just thought it was cute. No, the cutest thing Margo ever said. Do you know what it is? She wants to be a mom and a cheerleader. Oh, when you would ask her when she was a kid, what she wanted to be.
Starting point is 00:16:44 She would say a mom and a cheerleader. No. You're going to remember it, though. Like, we were in L.A. Okay. Okay, so you don't remember. I'm not there. So we like took a sister's trip.
Starting point is 00:16:56 Remember we stayed at the Mr. C. Hotel and they had the two really small beds. I had to share two small beds. Margoalike started crying one day, and we were like, what's wrong? Where were we? Where were we in the hotel room sitting on the tiny bed? Okay. We must have been like getting ready or something. And she started like tearing up, getting upset.
Starting point is 00:17:10 And we were like, what's wrong? And she couldn't explain it. And she was like, it just like makes me sad. Like we're not always going to like be doing this. Like, oh, my mother going to cry. Like talking about it. It was so sweet. She was like, like, we're not all just like going to be like sisters like this.
Starting point is 00:17:21 Like it was very, very sweet. Oh my God. I don't remember. I didn't know that that had happened. You don't remember that? I feel like we need to take a sister's trip to L.A. with her. I was so, like, impacted by it. That's so, you know, it's not really, like, congruous with the way I think she feels about us.
Starting point is 00:17:39 So maybe she misses us. It's a cry for help. Maybe she misses us. It is a cry for help. I think we should take a sister's trip to L.A. and sit up and share Mr. C-beds. We have to share. Okay, we all have our own room. No, no.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Like to share. I do. I love sharing rooms. That's my dream, like, us all being in, I know what Margaret was saying. Like yeah, it was such a girly moment. We were getting ready for something. We were like having, we went to like Chaconis for dinner. It was like so, it was like a fabulous trip.
Starting point is 00:18:03 We don't like do that. Like we don't take sister trip. No, no. And she's right because we used to be like a unit. A unit. We used to do every like every Saturday night. It's like what are we doing? Like we're going out with our friends, but we're all going.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Like we're just like one group every vacate. Like we were always going on trips and this and dinner and this and that. And it's obviously not like that anymore. Yeah. And so she was kind of like speaking truth about what the future would hold. Yeah. Like everybody went on and like grew up and did their own thing. and made new friends and got married.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Like, it was very... It was mostly just, like, married with kids because it's not like we, like, made new friends and ditched our sisters. Yeah. We're always... Life is different now. Life is different now.
Starting point is 00:18:36 It was very sweet. And we were... That was, like, really, when we were the steens. She literally said it's not always gonna be, like, steamy vibes. It was really sweet. I mean, it isn't always... I wonder if she, like... Am I making this up?
Starting point is 00:18:49 No. I think for the second day in a way we have to call Satchie. Okay. But, like, tell her we're recording. I will, of course. And also, like, I feel like... I feel like it's a little personal, so she might, like, say she never said it.
Starting point is 00:19:00 But, like, know that she did. It's just like Olivia and Brian. Right. But know that she. Hi. Are you on the toilet? Okay, I won't show you, but we are recording. And I wanted to ask you if you remembered something or if I'm making this up, because you know, I do sometimes I can make up memories.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Hey, Sati. Do you remember when we took a sister's trip to L.A., and we stayed at the Mr. C Hotel? Of course. And you said, you said the cutest. Yes. Yeah. And you said the cutest thing ever.
Starting point is 00:19:26 okay i probably don't remember that but what like we were all like sitting in the room like getting ready or something and you were like you got upset and we were like what's wrong you like couldn't explain what was wrong and you basically were just like it's never it's not always going to be like this like steamy vibes the four of us like Oh, I do remember saying that. Okay, good. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making it up. Yeah. Because you were right. Thank you. And you want to go to L.A.
Starting point is 00:19:52 Oh, do you want us to plan a trip the four of us and we could stay at the Mr. C hotel and stay in tiny beds again? I think now at this point in our lives, we can do better than Mr. C. But, yeah, I would love to. You would love to? You would love to do that? You would want to do that? I'd love to do that. Do you miss us?
Starting point is 00:20:08 Of course, and I will see you Friday. Yay. Yay. Yay. Love you, bye. Maybe we do like a staycation, like one night. Maybe for her birthday, we plan a trip to L.A. That's really cute.
Starting point is 00:20:22 She's so cute. That's actually. Just when you think she's going to zig. It's so true. She zags. She zags back to her sisters. We are like the best. Who wouldn't zag to us?
Starting point is 00:20:32 Like, we're the best. I know that's how we feel. There aren't two more charitable. Everyone's using our sound. Monica Lewinsky. Team USA. Team USA, but Monica Lewinsky. Monica Willsky and Dylan.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Mulvaney. Like when I say we have range, that's what I'm fucking talking about. Everyone's using this. In the same day, the men's hockey team. It was men's and women. Oh, right, men's and women's and women's. It was the official team USA. They had all the men's and women's hockey team together.
Starting point is 00:20:57 And then they said, we are two of the most fabulous, whatever. I just want to say it was a social media manager. She aimed at that because it was like two teams. So we are two of the most. Yeah, crush it. I don't even know the sound. We are two of the funniest, generous, charitable people. and I know us like offline.
Starting point is 00:21:15 And then Dylan Mulvaney. The fact that we have so many haters genuinely blows my mind. To the stay. What were Dylan and Monica up to? I think Dylan's on Broadway and Monica went to see the show. And then you go backstage, you like make TikToks.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Oh, you know what? That just reminds me. I saw a video of Daniel Radcliffe. You know, he's on Broadway as well. Did you feel like everyone's on Broadway? Yeah. Like Jake Shane is on Broadway? Jake Shane. Whitney Lee Abbott.
Starting point is 00:21:39 And Daniel Radcliffe's like, of course, and like a critically acclaimed. And you know, part of it being a Broadway actress And I just want to say, I never want to be on Broadway, please. Unless it's the role, like, we're making a full reprisal of hairspray. Do not come. Do not come knocking on my door. It looks like the worst job ever.
Starting point is 00:21:52 You make no money, and it is so fucking hard. And then when the show is over, you have to do the back door. So you leave the stage door. You can't just, like, finish a hard day of work, get in the car and go home. You have to go out, sign playbills, take pictures. And so many videos I'm always seeing. Like, oh, my God, you know, Jesse was so nice. And Whitney was so mean.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Like, you know, they say, like, Daniel Radcliffe, like, literally put on his puffer coat. it was like the blizzard, ran out. People didn't even see him because he put his hood on and he just thought he was like a staff member who worked there and the comments were like,
Starting point is 00:22:19 oh my God, like you didn't come to the stage store you hate your fans. Oh my God, I could never. The fact that Broadway actors and actresses have to do a whole performance after like, after doing that have to go outside
Starting point is 00:22:28 and take a picture with every single person and sign everything single playbill or else you're like not like or else you hate your fans. Oh my God, I hate that shit. I could never. Yeah. That sounds like just to stand outside.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Everyone's filming you. You're exhausted. And if you don't do it Exactly right. Because the Broadway folk, like they take that backdoor stage thing, like so seriously. And I forget who it was that like didn't do it.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Like, oh, the person who hates his fans the most, Ben Platt. Ben Platt was like, I'm not doing it. Like he literally like was like, he walked out,
Starting point is 00:22:58 was like waving. And I just want to say I respected that. Yeah, that's, I don't take issue with that. No, me neither. The fact that like so many Broadway people,
Starting point is 00:23:04 like they just do it. Like you have to. Yeah. When I'm sure all do you want to do is go to sleep. Yeah. No. Daniel Radcliffe said not today. I won't use that again,
Starting point is 00:23:13 Ben Platt. No, me neither. Yeah, of course. Court adjourned. Let's get into the stories, right? Because that's the job we're here to do. Much like those Broadway actors. Right.
Starting point is 00:23:27 And we love the back door. Okay, we love the back door. Our title? You actually, you say, like, I just wouldn't go to sleep. You would love it. Remember when we used to do Gizno? I would fucking love it. That was seriously.
Starting point is 00:23:41 I actually, fuck Ben Platt. because that was the high of a lifetime. It's so true. When we did Gizno and like certain venues, like the beacon, when literally they put up barricades, there were so many toasters, like, wanted to take a picture of us?
Starting point is 00:23:54 Seriously, it's a drug. I can you can understand. And I want you guys to know, like we knew that people were outside. So we had like a whole presentation. Like we told everyone to get in the car, like take our stuff. We can't be carrying like bag.
Starting point is 00:24:02 I said take my jacket. Like I wanted to be, and I had like a red solo cup because I see like cool people like drinking. And we were going to our after party. And I walked out and I was like surprised. I was like, oh, you guys hear for me? I was like, oh, that's so sweet.
Starting point is 00:24:15 Let me, yeah, I can take some pictures. Like, oh, autograph yeah, you have a Sharpie. We, when I tell you, it was like, that's how people like die from fame addiction. Like, I understand how you then become addicted to heroin. Like, because there is no high quite like that. The fact that we didn't become drug addicts after that, it's insane. A hundred percent. And I have no sympathy now for dangling.
Starting point is 00:24:33 I agree. Except for the blizzard. But like, seriously, that moment of adoration, like, it's. Addicting. Yeah. I feel like it would actually make you want to get. up and go to work. Yeah, that's what you do it for. It looks fabulous. It looks alluring. And I could tell you as somebody who's done it, it feels more than that. Like, yeah. So when you see people like
Starting point is 00:24:51 getting paparazzi, like leaving like Kimmel or whatever and there's like, like, when there's two barricades and it's civilized. You're not being like, in when I see those episodes of Kardashians where they go to like different countries and people like storm their car. That is horrible. I'm talking about barricades, where they have to like fight through. Yeah, that looks. And you're just like walking like. Yeah, no one's touching you. You're just getting photographed and you like look the way you want to look. Yeah, we need to get paparazzi more. We should just hire someone to follow us around.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Yeah, we should have, like, we need paparazzi at those when we did that, you know? Absolutely. Call paparazzi. For the next time. We should do it just no soon. Like, we're both sort of like free to do it. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:28 A couple months. Give me a couple of months, you know. Yeah, take your time. Things to do. Yep. Now without further, I doda, do that. Starting point is 00:26:15 with the container store and they took like multiple trips and they were coming back with these things. Like I knew like containers like acrylic boxes, things like that. I didn't know like what really went down at the container store and how they were obsessed with it the way people are obsessed with like shopping for makeup. The first time I went into a container store after that, like I fully understood. It is definitely addicting. Starting point is 00:30:00 I tried to write this in the family chat, but there was a lot going on and nobody answered me. So, remember, like, two, three weeks ago when it was a Monday, it was a Monday after the Super Bowl and I wasn't on the show.
Starting point is 00:30:11 So I had to take root to the emergency room. He's totally fine. I didn't want to talk about it then because I was, like, scared, but he's completely fine. And I got a bill. I got a bill, like a couple of days later,
Starting point is 00:30:20 of course, you know, they don't miss a beat. And it was $3,000. And, you know, I've heard forever. Like, it's, you know, I'm Erica, and I read the fine print, so you don't have to. And they always say, like, if you call the hospital and ask them for an itemized bill,
Starting point is 00:30:33 they will send you one that's almost always like half less. They overcharge people because people don't ask for itemized bills. You get charged for things that you don't do. And I've never done it before. And I was like, sure. I don't want to pay this bill right now. So I called. The lady was so lovely.
Starting point is 00:30:45 She said, yes, you will receive it in about 10 days. I got it yesterday. Less? So the original bill, let me just get you the exact amounts, okay? Okay. The original bill was $3,376. And the bill that I got yesterday was $8,000. $446.
Starting point is 00:31:06 So whoever started that fucking lie on the internet that you should call for an itemized bill, fuck you, okay? Oh my God. You know what I'm dealing with right now? And that's what I get for like, mitchering. You know what I'm dealing with right now?
Starting point is 00:31:18 What? When I gave birth and then I'm checking out of the hospital, they're like, we'll mail you a bill. I was like, no, I want to pay it now because if you mail me a bill, I'm never going to, I don't chat. What about insurance? Like, whatever. They already did my insurance, like whatever. Okay when you leave, like a hotel.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Yeah. And I literally am wearing a diaper, carrying a baby, and I'm like, here, charge me. I don't want a fucking bill. I'm not going to pay it. I don't look at my mail. Right. And I can't get my bill. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:42 But I want to pay this. Yep. That's very magnanimous of you. Bleeding post part, a day after I gave birth, I paid my bill so that they would leave me the fuck alone. Okay. They call me every day with a charge. What?
Starting point is 00:31:56 Every day I have a missed call, but I don't get it because I have my screen calls on and I don't have their numbers. Yeah, yeah. I never even see it. that I have an outstanding balance. I'm now getting mail from the hospital that I owe that money. They undercharged you? No.
Starting point is 00:32:08 Yeah, I guess. I don't know. But like I, what happened in between when I left and now? Unless like my insurance didn't cover as much as they thought it would. Sounds like a you guys problem. Agreed, agreed. Sounds like a you problem because I spent a couple grand on my way out the door.
Starting point is 00:32:22 I'm done. That's big of you. Like, what? Yeah. My hospital bill for Ruby was just about $1,000, which I was shocked by. That's really, these people on these their bills, they're crazy.
Starting point is 00:32:33 No, that's why I did the itemized thing because like it's kind of like fake. You know, they just make up prices. No, they just make up prices. We had to go to the hospital over the summer one time. And so I've been just getting bills from that, which I paid. And then another bill. Like, $45. What?
Starting point is 00:32:50 Yeah, right. So that's just something I'm dealing with. And thanks to that girl on TikTok who started the fake rumor. I know this isn't going to be like a new statement or anything, but like the health care system is broken i mean i watch a pit so i know how broken it really is like it's really broken like i paid my bill like what are you calling me about now i didn't do any new work i can't believe you paid your bill like i know but that's how much i know myself where it's like if something comes in the mail like that's so funny because like that wasn't even an option for me like the bill i was like
Starting point is 00:33:21 who owns my card the bill just comes like later not that's crazy i don't roll like that no i didn't There wasn't, like, a desk with a credit card machine. Like, I don't even know where I would have done that. On checkout. There wasn't a checkout. They just gave me papers and they were like, someone in your credit card. She went shopping on the real real.
Starting point is 00:33:39 And now I'm getting like my bill. Yeah. That's funny. Okay, let's get into the stories because I still haven't done that yet. Oh my God. Sorry, I just saw the clock. Sorry. Our first story are kind of two of our favorite categories of news.
Starting point is 00:33:53 Podcast drama. Oh. And memoir news. You guys. I was not prepared for this cover. She released something? Sorry. Can I tell the story?
Starting point is 00:34:02 I am so now. Maybe I should say who she is. Sophia Franklin is writing a memoir about the Call Her Daddy fallout. So Sophia Franklin, the co-creator of Call Her Daddy, announced this morning that she is writing her memoirs, specifically about what happened in 2020 with her podcast, Call Her Daddy, that she started with Alex Cooper, and the fallout from that.
Starting point is 00:34:23 The memoir is called Daddy Issues. And the cover, as Claudia was just, about to say was not what she expected. I mean, it's a picture of Sophia and Alex, like, probably from 2018, like, an early picture of their friendship. And Alex's face is, like, crossed out. It's like cut out. It's giving that scene in Mean Girls, this girl can't be trusted.
Starting point is 00:34:43 She is a ugly slut. Like, the cover is insane. The title is daddy issues, which you know we love to criticize. A memoir title. I think it's a great title. It seems like Sophia has not really leaned into, like, the daddy branding. because when she launched her first podcast after leaving Call Her Daddy
Starting point is 00:35:00 or like being booted, whatever, I think a lot of people thought she was going to do something Daddy-like as well, whether it's like single father or whatever. And she totally like didn't lean into the branding at all, which I do think was a mistake. And so now it feels like she's going like full force
Starting point is 00:35:16 with it. I feel like she's going to put in her Instagram bio co-creator of the Caller Daddy podcast. Because now I went on the website, her bio, it says Sophia Franklin, is based in New York City and is a co-creator of the Call Her Daddy Podcast. Like now she's like taking credit.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Yeah. Where up until recently, like, she wouldn't have. Yeah. The way you describe the cover. So I think that the format of it is like, looks, feels a little funny. But like it does feel like Mean Girls Burn Book. And when I see this book, I'm like, I feel like this will be turned into a show. Like, because we-
Starting point is 00:35:47 She should sell the rights. She should sell the rights. This would be like such a great show. And this would be like the piece of material that they need to go out and make a show. And the funny thing is that while it was like the biggest story ever, and Alex made that one YouTube video after that, the girls never talked about it. Like when Alex has ever been like interviewed or like even alluded to it, she like has a boundary up where she won't talk about it. So actually, I believe that a lot went on behind the scenes that people still don't really know
Starting point is 00:36:16 about. I think there's like actually a lot of meat for both girls to talk about. It seems as though Alex is that's like a no go for her. Yeah. Like it's sort of buried and she's moved on. And and won't be going there. But I think it's very hard for Sophia to take that same route because she's sort of the injured party. Yeah, Sophia talked about it in podcasts and stuff. Like she goes on other, she's been on this show.
Starting point is 00:36:36 She goes on other shows. And like we'll talk about especially when like the $60 million Spotify deal happened. But it seems like from the description of this book that there's a lot more that happened. And I think by the time Sophia was ready to tell her story, like people had moved on. And it's like hard to just like start screaming and be like,
Starting point is 00:36:54 wait, what about me? And people would be like, you're still talking about that? Right. And so I think she's talked about it a little bit, but that there is more. And I think this book is also about, like, her healing journey. And I think we're going to, like, read more about, like, why she, like, there was months before she even put out her first video. Like, I think she was, like, paralyzed. Yeah. I think she went from, like, first of all, they had such quick success. Like, they were the number one show in the world, like, above Joe Rogan. And it hadn't even been a year yet. So to go from being, like, an unknown person to that level, I think it's traumatizing. Like, nobody can handle that. And then overnight, like, you're the devil. Your man is. the devil like an entire barstool everyone like coming for you making merch about you making fun of your looks making fun of your family like she got it so bad that she's really um so a lot of people were like make a video make a podcast do something she'd come out with sophia with an after for like
Starting point is 00:37:42 months i agree i think like she was probably and i'm sure she'll talk about this like really in a bad spot mentally yeah i think that that is what a lot of this book is going to be about it says the memorable delve not only into her time on Call Her Daddy, so probably like the Rise too, which is also just interesting. Very interesting. If you ever go back and watch their vlogs, like they were crazy. They were so crazy. They were so funny. They were magnetic. Like it's, it's no shock that they were as successful as they were as quickly as they were because they were magic together. They were just crazy fucking bitches like living in New York doing what whatever they wanted. Like it was insane. So she said, but it will also talk about the
Starting point is 00:38:21 emotional and physical result of her fallout with Cooper, feelings of betrayal and learning how to reinvent herself. She said the decision to write the book was one I came to on my own. Six years ago, I was reeling from an experience I didn't understand. I needed to grow up and be free of ego as much as humanly possible. She said for her losing call her daddy also meant the loss of her friendship with Alex. Everything that we had been working toward and planning for the last year, half a year to year was suddenly not the plan anymore. And Alex thought we just needed to stay with this company and do what Dave was saying. I found out later that Alex and Dave
Starting point is 00:38:53 1,000% had this relationship that I was not aware of and not a part of. I thought Alex was my best friend, sister, and we were not hiding anything. There's no way in hell I would speak to our boss without you. That would be fucking crazy. And I don't think that went both ways. That's what Sophia had said in 20, 23,
Starting point is 00:39:08 to Rolling Stone. But then I think the impetus for this book, at least in the video that Sophia posted yesterday, is like the documentary. So Alex had her documentary on Hulu. It came out last year. Call me Alex. Call her Alex.
Starting point is 00:39:22 And they talk about like the inception of the show and the falling out a bit. Briefly. And I think that the way that now the story is told, Sophia is now like, I don't think so. Hold my beer. Well, I think it's been very convenient for Alex to repackage how the story went because Sophia hasn't spoken about it. So she thought maybe like she was safe to put her own spin on it.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Like enough time has passed. Sophia's moved on. Started her own show like we're not going back there anymore. so when it came time to have an official retelling, she could have like, you know. I think she just probably glazes, oh, you know, just like we wanted this, we were getting paid this, we were the biggest show in the world.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Dave is in the documentary saying that they were paying a lot of the salaries at Barstool. They were locked into a three-year contract and two years into that deal. They became the number one podcast listened to by women, and they deserved more money. And they did. Yeah, they did.
Starting point is 00:40:13 And he made them a deal that Alex said, like, we couldn't refuse. And if I do it for one more year, we got the IP. And she thought that was a great deal. deal and Sophia didn't want to take that deal no or they didn't tell Sophia about the deal no Sophia didn't want to take that deal from what I remember and this is just my memory they were each offered half a million five they were making 60,000 dollars like 70,000 plus bonuses like merch and merch and so all
Starting point is 00:40:37 and all I think they were making like a hundred or two hundred thousand dollars a year when they had the number one podcast in the world which is insane because like Joe Rogan makes like 30 million dollars a No, and the math was coming out that, like, their episodes were generating a million dollars for the business. Yeah, they got like a million downloads an episode. Yeah. Yeah. That's fucking crazy. Or maybe they're, maybe they were generating $100,000 per episode.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Something insane. Yeah. More than their yearly salary in one episode. Yeah. So then the deal that we had heard was that they were each offered a $500,000 to continue the show for one more year at Barstool. And then they would have their IP. A little piece of merch, right? Like a percent.
Starting point is 00:41:16 of their merch sales, like little things, but the salary. The base salary was $500,000. And Sophia said that wasn't enough. Sophia said that wasn't a good deal. And then Alex said, met with Dave. Met with Dave and said, I'll take that deal. And she got Sophia's $500,000. Oh, so she got a million?
Starting point is 00:41:28 Yeah, she got a million for that year. Oh, that's kind of crazy. I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah. That's how I remember it. And if I'm wrong, just let me know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:35 That was such a crazy time. And then she did it for one year. And then she got the show. And then the next year she got $60 million from Spotify. Right. And I'm sure Sophia will talk about this. The Spotify deal. was $60 million, like for Alex to continue exclusively releasing on Spotify, but also for the back catalog.
Starting point is 00:41:52 So all the episodes that Alex did with Sophia that were extremely valuable, like the Milf Hunter, right? Milf Hunter. That was like they had like a lot of sagas, like famous episodes, like people go back and luck. Yeah, right, things people would go back and watch. So they were really paying for the inventory as well. The 60 million was for future episodes, but also passed like the archive. And I think that's where Sophia was like really felt robbed where it's like, well, okay, You're selling her voice, like her actual voice.
Starting point is 00:42:18 Her work. Her stories, this time she got arrested, the time she accidentally did meth. Like, that got sold to Spotify and she didn't make any money from that. Like, that's really crazy. Yeah. So I'm sat for this book. And I want Alex's side too.
Starting point is 00:42:31 Alex is like, you know, I get it because like it's murky and Alex is so moved on. And I do feel like the success of Call Her Daddy now is all Alex. Like you cannot. And I think that that's really something like she's probably insecure about, not people being like you. took the success of two people and made it all your own. You can't deny that like how far Alex has come is all Alex. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Like she is a marketing. She knows what the fuck she's doing. So I think she's hesitant to go back there because she doesn't want it to undercut her current success, which is fair. But I do think the early days and like the whole saga, like I don't think people know like how wronged Sophia was. Yeah. They thought she was just like being stupid and like letting her man, you know, know, write the terms and like that he wanted their podcast. I think he was just like trying to lend his business sense to her because they had
Starting point is 00:43:23 something that they didn't know what to do with. They were so underpaid. It's a joke. And even 500,000 is like, it's not enough. It's not like 1% of what they make. If they had been a unit and like continued to negotiate either with Dave or left and they didn't have the IP, but they could have started another podcast at that height. Like there were options for them outside of it.
Starting point is 00:43:44 But it seemed like there was things going on. between them in their friendship that like Alex didn't want to be with Sophia anymore. And it seems like that Sophia didn't know about it. Yes. Like that one person's like, this friendship doesn't serve me. This is toxic and, you know, we're not. Because Alex said in her documentary, like, it's a situation where what it seems on the internet is not what it was like in real life.
Starting point is 00:44:03 I believe that. I feel like Sophia thought they were as friends. Yeah, like roommate sisters, lovers for life. Yeah. Yeah. So I would, I don't know if this will encourage Alex to speak up. I feel like Alex is never going to go there. Like that's just a hard stop for her.
Starting point is 00:44:14 And I'm sure she like felt like she covered it. in her documentary and box checked we're good that's that on that yeah and she went back to the bar stool office they were like you talk to sophia i think that like she thought she was really opening up a lot there and like she covered her bases but i would i would really love to hear like a rebuttal and i feel like we have heard alex's like even when she put out that video when it all went down and then she was like you know telling us like see you guys see fuckers wednesday um she shared her side in the roof and everything yeah the roof um so it's really like sophia's side that hasn't been heard and I don't really think Alex will respond to it but I think maybe Sophia's sharing her side
Starting point is 00:44:52 will show people things that they didn't think and at the time they thought she was just being like a stupid girl being like used by her boyfriend and I don't think that's what happened I don't think so either and like yeah it was like kind of like a tragedy it's a tragedy her and her man like her man being like I wish I never helped these two bitches like he was like a very he was a very successful executive at HBO so he like worked in media he knew the scene and he knew that like his girlfriend was getting robbed by this company. So he was like, yeah, sure, let me help you and your friend. The friend ends up, like, cutting a deal.
Starting point is 00:45:24 Dave decides, like, not only is Sophia my enemy now, but her man is and was selling merch about him. He ended up losing his job, like years later. I don't think it had to do with this, but, like, kind of like a very sad story. Yeah. For him. Like, yeah. But I think he's happy now.
Starting point is 00:45:38 I think he's married. And they, like, broke up. Yeah, they broke up. I mean, I don't really know how a relationship can like, and he's just like, but they did stay together for a while left. curious if she'll talk about him in the book she has to i know but i think she's like i don't actually don't know this like i just have a feeling like maybe she feels like i dragged him into this like media storm once before like let me let the man have peace but if it's for justice maybe we can
Starting point is 00:45:59 let the man have justice yeah i don't know you know yeah i think she has to bring otherwise he stays like he really can't get worse for him yeah for suit man the book doesn't come out till november so like okay talk to you then yeah talk to you then that's a really long time it's You can buy it on Saturday for Ben. It could be his Saturday book. I think he will like it. I think he would like it too. Oh, and title name, what do we rate it?
Starting point is 00:46:22 It's very good. It is very good. Now, it's not memoirs of a daddy. But I also think she talks about her upbringing. I believe she was raised by a single mom. So there's also like daddy issues, of course, call her daddy, but then also your father. I think, I think. Don't quote me on it.
Starting point is 00:46:36 But I also want to say, like, if this were bought, like the name of a show, daddy issues, it's a sleigh. Yeah, no, I think it has real potential. So I imagine part of her motivation for writing a book was having it be optioned. Because that's like a thing now. You write a book and before it even comes out, somebody buys the rights to it
Starting point is 00:46:54 because we're like big into book adaptations. And I'm sure when the idea was floated to her, that was like a huge part of it. Somebody should buy the rights before it even comes out. Like this will be a great show, period. Because it's an insane story. It's an insane story. I can't believe it hasn't been like fictionalized.
Starting point is 00:47:11 That's so true. Like the roof scene in, it ends with us the roof seen at daves during COVID but they went together on a roof during COVID are you guys not mad about that I'm cracking up I didn't even realize it was a roof in COVID it was a roof in COVID and it was three strangers who were like sheltering who are two I thought was just Alex at the meeting or Alex and Sophia Alex and Sophia and Dave and it's hilarious and they were all like they were all quarantined different places and they got together from three different places called the COVID police I think we need some retroactive cancellation
Starting point is 00:47:40 agreed it's only right Totally fair. It's only fair. Are you ready for our next story, which is some more podcasting news? Oh, my God, yeah. Lil Dickie and Benny Blanco have a nude podcast. Yeah. And it's bad.
Starting point is 00:47:55 It's, um... There was a video, like, going viral of Betty Blanco, like, farting into his microphone. And his feet up on the cat, his bare feet? Yeah. The thing is, what I love about this industry is, like, the cream's going to rise, right? Mm-hmm. I don't foresee this being the next Joe Rogan, call her to ask. Eddie, Theo Vaughn.
Starting point is 00:48:18 And I know, you know, a running joke is like, don't give men podcast mics or they should make podcast equipment more expensive. Oh, yeah. I've seen, I see a lot. Anytime, like, there's a stupid podcast that people comment, like, tariff podcast equipment. It's, like, funny. But I actually like that it's such, like, a low lift accessible medium
Starting point is 00:48:34 because, like, anyone can do it. And that means anyone can be successful at it. So it's really talent-based, right? So these are two people with, you know, unlimited money for clips, editors, set building, audio engineers. And at the end of the day, if it sucks, it sucks, no matter how much money or status you have. And I love that. Like, I love to see successful if people fail.
Starting point is 00:48:51 So I'm excited. You know what's so interesting about this? Also, Lil's wife is a co-host, the third co-host, Kristen. Does Selena, like, make an appearance? I'm sure that she will, but their podcast, and it's called Friends Keep Secrets. It's producing partnership with Jay Shetty's podcast. Oh. And now that I'm thinking about it, remember when Selena and Benny went on Jay Shetty's podcast
Starting point is 00:49:12 and was like really great for Benny. and like I forgot that that's where I landed with Benny. Like, oh, this is like very cogent, like emotionally intelligent individual. Romantic. Because then I just saw like this Fartapalooza. Yeah. But going back before Fartapalooza, like, oh, he actually should have a podcast. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:28 He seemed like very smart and had nice things to say. I forgot. I forgot that was like, I guess a very fleeting feeling that I had when I saw it. It's funny that he went into business with Jay Shetty. It must have been like really overwhelmingly a positive thing for him. Yeah. But it's like, doesn't he produce every major song? This is just a hobby.
Starting point is 00:49:45 This is not a money-making venture. Benny Blanco is just fine. Yeah, but it's like, this is a very time-consuming hobby. Like, why does everyone want to do this? People don't think it's time-consuming, that's why. But I guess if you have, like, unlimited resources and you don't need to book your own guests, edit your own episodes, make your own clips, like have any part in it other than sitting down for 60 minutes.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Most people who start podcasts are very involved in, no matter how many resources they have, are very involved in the strategy of the podcast. But if, like, if someone's producing, it for you, you literally just show up once a week for an hour, fine. Like, that's, I think, what Amy Poehler does, you know, like, she has a great team around her. Yeah, but I could also see why for Amy Poehler, like, starting a podcast is the next logical step in her career. Do you know what I mean? Like, no, actually. If I was Amy Poehler, like, I wouldn't have done a podcast, but that's why I'm wrong. What would you do, like, more shows and movies?
Starting point is 00:50:33 Well, first of all, I don't think she needs to do anything. I think, like, there are a couple of things that she's done. I don't know this is the devil's work, turning. Of course, I'm talking about financial, right? So, like, now it's like, what are you interested in? I don't know When she started a podcast I was like okay Kind of like corny you know No but a comedian starting a podcast
Starting point is 00:50:49 Like yeah Makes sense Yeah like you have stuff to say And you're funny But I don't think of her so much as a comedian I think of her more as like Tina Faye Right now Comedy
Starting point is 00:50:56 Yeah but like they're writers Yeah they do comedy But like they're writers They're producers They create like They're more like BTS So if Tina Faye Start a podcast today
Starting point is 00:51:06 I'd be like okay Yeah I don't know It didn't seem like an obvious choice for me I feel like Tina Faye's about to start a podcast. Oh, really? It would seem like she's just copying Tina. Except like not her because I remember when she said she hates when like celebrities like have work outside of their thing.
Starting point is 00:51:22 Yeah. Yeah. It's kind of mean. But it's like, yeah, it was mean, but it's like, oh, I'm not talking about you, you or you. Yeah, right. Meanwhile, once upon a farm just like got acquired or went public or something for like over a billion dollars, right? Not enough. Not enough.
Starting point is 00:51:37 It's not enough money. I agree. Give them more money. I agree. Like what a sleigh. Yeah. And actually when I was at Target yesterday, I was in like the baby section, all the pouches were like out on the shelf. Not fridge.
Starting point is 00:51:48 Not refrigerated. Yeah. I mean, I'm used to just refrigerated because once it's part of arm. I think that's really crazy. Yeah. It's crazy to think about shelf stable. Like would you eat a piece of fruit that was sitting on a? Well, dried fruit would sit on the shelf.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Oh, I guess. So there are ways of like, I mean, it's not like there's nothing wrong with it. Yeah. But like fresh. Fresh is best. Fresh is best. Are you ready for our next story? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:52:11 A little fresh news. Kim Kardashian is joining Energy Drink Brand Update as a co-founder. So Kim Kardashian has taken a new brand under her entrepreneurial belt. She is now the co-founder of the Parazan Thine-powered Energy Drink brand update, founded in 2022 by Daniel Solomons. So Update is an energy drink that does not have caffeine, does not have alcohol, and it's an energy drink. I'm suffocated by this.
Starting point is 00:52:39 Update. I know that Kim is like constantly working that's like her thing right meanwhile like skims is like enough to pay the bills and then some like she's a billionaire many times over because of skips
Starting point is 00:52:52 um like okay like I'm just like I'm fatigued by this like I got it with Kylie too when Kylie did Sprinter which was just so inauthentic like but to me this tells me this seems to tell me that Sprinter is a success this looks like Sprinter
Starting point is 00:53:08 it feels like Sprinter now Kim wants a Sprinter I never should. seen anyone drinking a spencer. No, me neither. But that's like, look, the cans look the same. Yes, they do. So it makes me feel like, oh, being in the beverage industry is a success for the girls 8182? Yes. Because what is, what does this do? Is she so, she had an update once and she said, oh my gosh, I have to get involved. Although I heard something about 818 from somebody really in the know, but they've gotten like an acquisition offer for like under a billion dollars. I think it was like $750 million. And they didn't take it because like,
Starting point is 00:53:40 you know, the Kardashians are obsessed with the B-Illian. And that was the number that they were going for. And now the value, like, and that was at the peak of the company. It's kind of like on, not on its way down, but it has stabilized. And so I actually don't think, like, all in all, that was a good decision. That's crazy. Mm-hmm. I feel like there has to be more to that story.
Starting point is 00:53:58 Well, it's just what I heard from someone, like in the know. Update. Yeah, update. Like, okay. Like, she said, she first discovered update three years ago. She said immediately aligned with how I think about wellness. in energy. Yeah, I saw this video she put out and like my eyes just rolled so far to the back of my head. I'm sure it's a good brand. Like she does that rigorously. Yes, in energy drinks are so bad for you,
Starting point is 00:54:21 but for a lot of people, they're so necessary. So I feel like a lot of our, you know, a lot of, it's a trend now, like, you know, better energy. I feel like we have a lot of like neurogovernments, one of our sponsors. Like it's a very trendy thing now. She's try and find like caffeine alternatives, beverage, sugary drinks, alternatives. So she's on trend. I'm sure it's good, but it's just like an eye roll. Wait, I'm like, enough. I'm a little influence. She said, I'm someone who moves at a really intense pace, but still prioritizes focus, balance,
Starting point is 00:54:46 and what I put in my body. Same for me, I would say. The energy category can feel loud. An update offers something different, a more intentional approach designed for sustaining energy. It became part of my routine very naturally. Yeah, I mean, I think it's, you know, you look at the success of like Celsius,
Starting point is 00:55:01 literally the biggest brand. And Celsius is so good. It's crap, like the stuff inside of it. Like, not as crappy as the other one. Red Bull. No, Celsius was like a better alternative to Red Bull. So we're all trending upward, right? And so this is just a very on trend.
Starting point is 00:55:14 I need to see a picture of Daniel Solomon's. Yeah, I was saying the same thing, a nice Jewish man for Chloe. Yeah. Or for Kim. Oh, who she dating? Lewis Hamilton. Oh, yeah. She's not interested in Daniel Solomon's.
Starting point is 00:55:24 But for Chloe, I love it. He's so cute. He's so cute for Margot. Yeah. Should he be businessman of the week? But he hasn't done anything yet. He roped Kim into being a part of this brand. I'm sorry, you don't go from the CEO of Armes and MGM grant to like some random.
Starting point is 00:55:43 I need to know more about like his personal. If Daniel Solomons comes across our desk one more time in an organic way, then he could be BMOTW. Let me like look at his. I'm not willing to give up on Axel Dumois yet. I'm so waiting for Redmond. Maybe liquid his ex account. Like does he, has he into a Kelly Clarkson concert. Like what's he up to in his personal life?
Starting point is 00:55:58 If Daniel Solomons has been to a Kelly Clarkson concert, then yes, he could be a businessman of the week. I have to look at his link. He's going to see I looked. Why don't you research him while I let everyone know about today's sponsor, Gold Bond. Oh, yes, please. Check in. Let's take a moment in the middle of the show. Everybody look at your hands.

Today's episode is also brought to you by Wedder Spoon. A lot of you guys might have heard of Manuka Honey. I actually heard about it a couple of years ago from Wellness Guru, Courtney Kardashian.
Starting point is 00:57:29 But I didn't know how to get it or like harvested it. And then we had a new sponsor start a couple of weeks ago called Wedderspoon. And when I got their products, first of all, they went platinum in my mind. house like Ben emptied the entire box of those sucking candies. Wetter spoon is the number one selling Manuka Honey in the U.S. Once you try it, you will understand why.
Starting point is 00:57:46 So Manuka Honey is not what you're used to when it comes to honey. It doesn't come in a squeeze bear bottle. It's elevated and special. Thank you, Tadurka, honey. You're welcome, Jadurka. Our next story, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 17 nominees for 2026.
Starting point is 00:59:11 I know that we like never like know who they are. Well, we know some of them. Okay. Should I start with the ones we know or just go in order of this list? In order. The Black Crows. I've heard of them. Jeff Buckley.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Oh my God, he wrote Hallelujah. My favorite song. Mariah Carey. Okay, rock and roll queen. Phil Collins. My God, we were just talking about him. Melissa Etheridge. A lesbian queen. Lauren Hill.
Starting point is 00:59:36 Queen. Oh, my favorite movie. Okay, now I'm knowing everyone, first of all. Billy Idol. Not Billy Joel. And not... Billy Armstrong. Right, not American Idiot.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Okay. Not Billy Crystal. Yeah, right. Not any of the billies that we know. The Idol one. Okay. In six, I'm going to say. Oh, in six.
Starting point is 00:59:58 Okay, I don't know them. Iron Maiden. I used to have a shirt. Oh, of course, the shirt. Yeah. Joy Division slash New Order. Love the music. new edition that sounds familiar no it doesn't oasis tell ben oasis they sing
Starting point is 01:00:16 wonder anyway here's wonder wall anyway here's wonderwall pink oh my god wait is there gonna be because i know taylor swift performed at the induction for someone will you still love me tomorrow um so i imagine there's like a party ceremony where people sing and we get covers like very like when someone gets honored at the kennedy center and like everybody shows up to cover their music, which I know is painful for the person sitting there. So I hope we get like pink and I feel like Kelly Clarkson would shop to sing for Pink. You think so? Are they that close? They're not very close, but they're musicians who respect one another and their joint cover of that's all I know so far. That's all I know. And Pink is wearing like AirPods as earrings is one of like
Starting point is 01:00:58 that YouTube video is most watched in my house. You know who I feel like will show up for Pink? as a tribute who's just showing up. I think. It's such a good call that I don't think you're going to get. Who? John Legend. Is that a good call? It's just like he just shows up.
Starting point is 01:01:14 He is like kind of the tribute guy. He's like the go-to guy. The go-to like tributarian. Yeah, he's very like. Tribute. Fine with everyone. Yeah, and he like covers like a wide range of music. I think people really respect him in the industry.
Starting point is 01:01:29 So that's a good call. Anyway, here's John Legend. Sure. Like when in doubt, John legend. Like no one's going to be mad. Yeah. No one's going to be like.
Starting point is 01:01:37 So freaking excited. Yeah. It's just a safe choice. Yeah, I like that. Chadee. Oh, we're not done with the list? No, there's one. Shadee.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Okay. Shakira. Oh, baby, when you talk like that. Yeah. That's the thing I love about the rock and roll music hall of fame. It's not about rock and roll. They refuse to be, you know, anchored by the boundaries of genre, you know? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:59 Luther Vandros. Dance with my five. father again and who will show up to tribute him who was just talking about him you oh no i thought they were talking about him in um like one of the real housewives maybe i'm making that up oh who luther vandross i don't know maybe why because we were just talking about luther van der rangers oh because share said luther vandross instead of martin luther when she announced at the gramies that sia and um kentrick lamar oh that's funny bring share bring share bring That's why we were just talking about Martin Luther.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Luther Vandrov. Yes, thank you. But you just sang that song. Because we were just talking. Oh, okay, okay. Dance with my father again. That's beautiful. But didn't Ruben stuttered singing on American Idol?
Starting point is 01:02:48 Probably, and I love that. So he should do the tribute. Okay, sure. And I was saying we were just talking about Rubin stuttered. Yes, we were, but you're off base. Like, we were talking, okay, the reason. Okay, we talked about, I just, I thought we were like more simpatico than we are. That's all.
Starting point is 01:03:02 You're not sympathico with the facts right now. Like we were told, I sang that song because of Cher. When I said who should tribute him, we were just talking about him. I meant the person we should, we were just talking about the person who should be. Oh, I thought you meant we were just talking about Lutheran Andros. No, I meant we should, we were just talking to the person who should tribute him.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Yes, Rubin Sitter did sing that, chilling. Chilling. And when he comes on our podcast where we interview people. Oh, I just want to say the name of the podcast is namesake. Yeah. Yeah. Write it down. It's beautiful.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Yeah. You don't even need to write it down. And maybe it's like a mini. series, you know? Yeah. Like a moment in time. I don't think we can like go on forever. Oh my God. I could see us like starting to dread it. And Wu-Tang Clan. Now, these are nominees. Oh, damn. So some of them have already been nominated. Oh, so you don't automatically get in? No. It kind of sucks. Yeah. So they have to work for it. Okay. Start, get to work. And maybe you have to be nominated like multiple times, you know?
Starting point is 01:04:02 Yeah. But good luck to the candidates go off, kings and queens. Yeah. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? I kind of think of what movie I'm quoting. Oh, it's friends. Sorry. When like Phoebe's just like, good luck to you.
Starting point is 01:04:18 Sorry, continue. Are you ready for our fifth and final story? It's a little summer house programming news because the summer house world is about to get even bigger as truly original plots next steps. Oh. So as we know, summer house is spinning off into the city. but they are also looking for summer houses of other locations. They are trying to build out the summer house. It's kind of what Jersey Shore tried to do with Florida Bamashore.
Starting point is 01:04:43 Yeah. They are currently searching for locations for new iterations of summer house itself. The show has a very specific architecture in terms of its narrative. So finding that is what we're endeavoring to do. There are actually two potential places that we're looking at. So once we find a place where the architecture is correct, we'll begin the casting process. Didn't they do this, Martha's Vineyard?
Starting point is 01:04:58 Yeah, they did. So they said you need a place that people go on the weekends, then come back to their own city life, and it has to extend over a summer in order to make the storytelling compelling. It can't be a week or 10 days. That won't work. I only know what people do in the tri-state area.
Starting point is 01:05:10 So I know Nantucket. I know the Jersey Shore, which obviously they cannot do. I know the Hamptons. So people who live in like other parts of the country, like chime in. Where do people go on the weekends? In the summer. Well, first of all, they could do the Jersey Shore. Good luck to you.
Starting point is 01:05:23 Good luck to them. But like, it's slayed. No, but I actually would find it like disrespectful. Yeah, but they could do like Jersey Shore Tom's River. Like they could call Jersey Shore, What is the one? Long Beach, Long Branch. No, but also like Long Island Beach.
Starting point is 01:05:35 You know what they should do? What's that one called? Long Island Beach. Long Beach Island, thank you. Okay, but if they're really looking for like, they should do deal, like, mammoth County. That's where like a lot of like very wealthy people go over the summer.
Starting point is 01:05:46 And it's like, it's not a real place. They should do deal. They should do Nantucket. They should, even though that's not, you don't go back. You have to fly to Nantucket. That's true. You don't go on the weekends.
Starting point is 01:05:55 And why are they obsessed with the whole going back on the week thing? Because I think that they don't, They like this format for some of house. I think it's like a flaw in the format is that people always have to go back to the city. And that's why I've always felt that they should cast people who can work from anywhere. And after COVID, like, a lot of these people could have worked from anywhere. So they're all like in the house all week, like having to work. Like that's more interesting.
Starting point is 01:06:15 I guess, but it would be a lot of, they can't party. Like, I mean, I guess it's like Jersey Shore was so good. Like you're stuck in the same house with the same people. But I guess they're not trying to recreate Jersey Shore. They're limiting into the weekends where like everyone gives everything that they have. They get to like, I think the format like works for. I think it's a flaw. I think, no, I think that it's good for this show.
Starting point is 01:06:33 Like, there's Jersey Shore. There's a house. There's real world where people live in a house together. And then there's this. I think in Texas, there's like a lot of lake towns that people go to. Like, remember on Real House's of Dallas? They would go to Brandy and Stephanie's Lakehouse. Like, what's that?
Starting point is 01:06:46 Yeah. Or like in L.A., where do they go to Tahoe? Like Santa Barbara. But not for the, eh. There's not like a culture where you have like a summer house because like L.A.' It's always summer. I guess because the city is where you really have to get out of the city. Other people don't like they have.
Starting point is 01:06:59 They have pools. Even if they live in an apartment, like their apartment building has pools amenities. In New York, like you need to touch grass literally. Yeah, and I think it's similar in like Austin and Dallas where there are a lot of like lake towns nearby. Interesting. Yeah, where people go every weekend.
Starting point is 01:07:13 But I do think like down the shore, Long Beach Island. Yeah, you're going to get the most characters in Jersey. Yeah, but that is like anywhere where New Yorkers go. Yeah. So I'm saying, are they just continuing to do the tri-state area? They didn't say. Right. I'm curious.
Starting point is 01:07:28 I think that's interesting. I'm open and I watched a lot of Summerhouse. I didn't finish the episode. It was a whatever episode. They had like a singles event for Ben, the Australian. Lindsay came. She came to the event. Her and Ben are like flirting.
Starting point is 01:07:44 Is that her first? I think so. Where is she? And then she came to the... I'm like more inclined. I'm so over Summerhouse. I just want to say sorry. Until like it's like bopping so hard.
Starting point is 01:07:54 Everybody's like I need you to watch it. I haven't really heard much. You don't need to watch it right now. nothing's really happening, except like Jesse asked West if he could hook up with Sierra. Oh, and what did he say? He was like shook and he said in front of all the other boys too. And I think like West is feeling like, no. That's really weird.
Starting point is 01:08:08 Jesse and Sierra are in bed together every episode like cuddling, recapping, like being best friends. So their closeness, like they wouldn't even, they couldn't even be possibly closer. Like who cares if they kiss at this point? Right. They're literally so close. Yeah. Like. Jesse's a crazy person.
Starting point is 01:08:24 Jesse is a crazy person. And I also feel like West like after the way that he went about. his business, like, he's not allowed to stand in the way. I know that, like, technically it's brocode, whatever, but, like, he just can't stand in the way. I think if he said yes, it would really hurt Sarah's feelings. Oh, true. But I don't know, I don't know why Sierra doesn't love Jesse back.
Starting point is 01:08:42 Like, they are so... Well, I hope she doesn't love Jesse back because, like, seriously, this girl needs to learn her lesson. Like, she used to stop hooking up with people in the summer house. Yeah. But I think she, like, does love him back. They're very, very close. And if she is going to hook up with someone, like, it should be Carl.
Starting point is 01:08:53 Like, honestly, his desperate plea last summer was so sad. And he's, like, the only one. like while I don't find him attractive or think he would be like a good partner for her, he's the only one who's like not a dick. Like he's the only one actually looking for a relationship. Though Jesse says he's looking for a relationship. Oh, please.
Starting point is 01:09:07 Yeah, please. I actually can't take him. Yeah, but it's like you had one last summer. And it was a great one. You loved her. So like, no, you weren't. So you're not. You were not serious.
Starting point is 01:09:17 What was the other thing I was going to say? Oh, so yeah, I'm not watching Summer House. Although I did see like a big conversation. Maybe it was a week or two ago about like Amanda's smoking pot, which I thought like actually might have been interesting. Yeah. Can you explain it to me? So yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:28 course, you know, in the wrong capacity, shares with the group, the boys, because Amanda wasn't there hearing the conversation until she, like, walked in. That's not good. Like, he's talking about intimacy issues in their relationship and that Amanda smokes pot every night that she has for two years. So it's like, they don't really get down because, like, she's high every night. And when would they be able to do that? Which was just, like, really disrespectful that he shared that with this bunch of, like, Randos, including some new people. Was Amanda upset because is that, like, was he, like, was he misrepresenting, like,
Starting point is 01:09:58 that she's, did she disagree? No, so she then hears, like, she walks into the conversation. She can tell they're all talking about her. So she now knows, like, they were talking about her in, like, their sex life, which is so, not cool. So, like, he thoroughly, he was drunk when he said it, but he, like, it ruined their week. They didn't talk all week. The next weekend they had to have a big fight.
Starting point is 01:10:14 He apologized in front of the whole table for having said that to everyone. But Amanda's like, you still haven't apologized to me. Yeah. And again, going about it wrong. But then the next week, they were talking. And she was like, you act like, I'm at high every night, but I don't smoke until I take the dogs out. So that's like after 10. Like you can hang out with me before that. But not denying that she does that she smokes every single night. And that doesn't leave room for intimacy. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:36 Well, obviously like she's running away from him. So like the pot is not really the problem. It's like, why am I smoking this pot? Oh, because I don't want to be with you. Like yeah. Yeah. But bringing it up in front of everyone, that's really bad. Yeah. It's just like they just keep missing one another. What were they up? Last night. Have they introduced anybody new? Because I remember there were new girls. Two new girls. Bailey. And Levi. Is there like a makeup girl? A makeup girl.
Starting point is 01:11:01 I saw this girl on my TikTok when they announced like new people. She was like, yeah, it's me. And she was like doing her makeup. She was like a TikToker who does makeup. It wasn't bail. This is not a, none of them are TikToker who does makeup as far as I know. What TikTok did I say? Oh, Dara.
Starting point is 01:11:13 We just met Dara. Oh, okay. She is an influencer. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She is very beautiful. Yeah. She just came. So West invited her to the singles event as everyone had to bring a single.
Starting point is 01:11:24 So he was like, we used to hook up. And I'm bringing her because it didn't work. out or whatever and someone thought that was Amanda was like feeling like you're bringing her around to like hook up with her again like in front of Sierra. Don't do it but I don't think that's the case. In front of Sierra?
Starting point is 01:11:38 I think we've moved on from that. No, I know. But if he's bringing someone who he like has, he can't hook up with anyone in the house. Why? He just can't. That's just. No, I don't agree.
Starting point is 01:11:47 We're talking about Sierra and Jesse hooking up. But Sierra's injured party, she could do what she wants. No, I'm sorry. People are allowed to break up with other people and then still hook up. No. But even last summer like when he was, was like, and it was in jail. Fine. He had to act right. But like, he's allowed to live.
Starting point is 01:12:01 I don't know if they're going to let. They say he's on probation. No, I'm sorry. He's out of jail. He didn't even do anything that bad. He's out of jail. Last summer he was in jail, this summer he's on probation. Last summer he was in jail because like he got famous and gave a really weird article interview and broke up with Sierra. He was allowed to break up with Sierra, but he wasn't allowed to talk about it. And so yes, you're in jail and you have to act right for a summer. The cuffs are off. I'm sorry. Like this is ridiculous. But anyways, I don't think him and Dara are they said in his interview, he's like,
Starting point is 01:12:25 I'm friends with a lot of my exes. Like they're really. cool people. That's why I like them to begin with. It doesn't mean we can't have like a friendship. And I think based on the previews, she has something going on with someone else in the house. Oh, okay. Good, good, good. But yeah, she seems, she seems to what we didn't get to know much of her yet. Got it. Okay, because I'd seen a TikTok. And then boys, we have been the Australian who was also the Bachelor of Australia. Oh, he was on the Bachelor? He was on the Bachelor. Oh, you're kidding. And he's really cute. And I think he must be like so insanely charming. Because the way they talk
Starting point is 01:12:55 about him. Oh my gosh. KJ, who's also really cute, he's a friend of West. I think I met him in the first episode. Skateboarder. Skateboard model. Yeah, whatever. Skateboarder slash model. And I think that's it for the boys right now. All right. Plus the usual suspects. But no, last night, like nothing really that major happened. Just like West, Jesse, Kentney-hook up with Sierra. And then I think like Wes is going to identify, like, that he still has feelings for Sierra. Okay. I kind of am rooting for them. You are?
Starting point is 01:13:28 Yeah. Like, they were, like, a real couple. And, like, the fact that he just got famous, like, so quickly, I think really messed with his head and he handled it, like, an extremely immature man would do. And then we need, like, I give grace. Because I do feel he was, like, like, I don't, I believe his feelings for Sierra were really genuine. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:46 But his, like, desire to meet girls at watch parties. I could get him thinking, like, this is. only going to happen to me once and I could see like somebody who was like right person wrong time he's not like the smartest guy ever like I could see some like him like him making a mistake like that and if she wants to forgive him like I'm I'll allow grace for that but if she doesn't want to forgive him I allow grace for that too oh okay very interesting yeah because I thought like at the time like they were a really nice couple like and I felt like it was real but now like jesse is kind of in the way I think Jesse is a crazy person like nobody should be with him he is he's crazy yeah if you didn't see what
Starting point is 01:14:21 what he did to Lexi last summer and want nothing to do with him. Oh my God, I would never be with someone like that. Like, honestly, what he did to Lexi was borderline evil. Like, I agree. You literally forced her into a relationship and then did not protect her on TV. Like, yucky. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Any girl who sees that and is like, yeah, that's my man. And whatever happens to you is on you. Gaslit her into thinking like you and Sierra are brother and sister and now you want to kiss your sister. Jesse showed women everywhere who he is last season. Whoever he dates next, people didn't see it. What happens to you is on you.
Starting point is 01:14:55 People don't see it that way. Okay, fine. So you date him. See what happens. Yeah, no, I'm with you. He's crazy. And he keeps saying in his confessionals, like he's looking for a relationship.
Starting point is 01:15:04 Liar. He wants something serious. Liar. And West is the one who doesn't want that. Wrong, because West, West can be tied down by the right woman. You think so. I do.
Starting point is 01:15:12 Jesse's crazy. Yeah. You may I will start watching. That sounds like my opinions are like not going to be liked. Yeah, I'll let you know when it like picks up a little bit. of my opinions not being like. Do you know what I mean? Like, yeah. Why is whatever I think about a show like, always the hot take? I just feel like
Starting point is 01:15:27 we really. We're elevated. We see beneath the surface. Yeah, yeah. Maybe because we're like in the industry, like, and we know. We have extra like life experience. Yeah. Colors our opinions. I'm just like sick of it. People are like, oh, once again Jackie and Claudia with a bad take. Like, what show are you guys watching? Like, I feel
Starting point is 01:15:43 crazy. Yeah. Maybe I won't watch. But that's it. That's your show. Yeah, it was a good one. That's our show. We did it. For you. For you. Thank you. You guys listening to The Tost, The Millennium Morning Show,
