Starting point is 00:00:09 Jackson Claude, favorite show the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off, swirly, it's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and just like that. I'm back to Loving Jurt again. Hey, Jirt, how you dirt? I'm Dern, good. Thank you for asking Cojourner.
Starting point is 00:00:37 What's your truth? My truth is that this morning I'm feeling so loved. Really? What's the cause of this love? My sister, Miss Foley. Me? I'm still feeling like so deeply moved that you bought me that Mahjong set from Walmart. So I just want to share that Jackie and I were talking yesterday in the podcast about how like this viral set of Mahjong tiles from Walmart like is selling out everywhere.
Starting point is 00:01:04 I was going to drive to Teterboro tomorrow to go get it. There was one left at the Walmart in Titoboro. $79. You get a set of tiles four racks, a mat. and the cutest darn bag I've ever seen. The cutest mahjong bag I've ever seen. I was really doing it for that. You guys were here for the combo yesterday
Starting point is 00:01:20 where we both talked about like our interest in this set. So of course like where there's a will, there's a way. I got a set. I got a swirlie over in Maryland who purchased it for me and it's on its way via UPS thanks to AJ's mom. Okay? Forgetting that for me.
Starting point is 00:01:34 But unbeknownst to me, my sweet sister was thinking about me. I could cry. It's so, I'm obviously in like a ludial phase. Like it's so sweet. I'm overcome. I had like a big plan. I literally hid you for my Instagram story yesterday
Starting point is 00:01:47 because I posted that I got the set. And then I was going to tell the world and I got Claudia one too and I'm going to surprise her on the toast. But I knew someone was fucking spoil it for me. I just didn't want you to see that I got the set yet. And then I was going to overnight the set to you and then have your production recording.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Look how much thoughts she put in. Like she loves me so much. Gifted to you live on the show. She loves me so much. And I just wanted to know, I'm so mad because I would have literally I would have started crying. Like I, to be so thought of, like, I can't. And like, now we have one extra set.
Starting point is 00:02:17 That's so great. Who should we give it to? I know. Maybe Olivia. But like she already has, like a parji set for Momai Maozhong that I don't think she's ever used because we always play with ours. Like we always set it up. So I would give it to her, but I think it would just sit there. So I'll find a worthy.
Starting point is 00:02:31 Give away. Give away. Give away alert. So yeah, I'm just feeling loved. HBO. Oh, that's so sweet. Feeling loved as well. Actually, today's a big day because it's Mac.
Starting point is 00:02:42 is six month day. Oh my God. It's a major. I know people do like half a cake, you know, if it's like your first child. It's giving first child. Yeah, well, and lost it for me. It was actually really cute. They had a big sign that said six months of food.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Maybe we should do that. I was planning on like cooking tonight anyway, like making hamburgers and also like making some baby food. You got to have the photo shoot in the, um, oh my God, what's the word? High chair. Jesus. Would it have a piece of cake? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Why couldn't I think of the word high chair? I say 50 times a day. Why were you yelling at yourself? Because I was frustrated. I was frustrated. And look, it worked. You're mad at yourself. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Well, speaking of milestones, I saw something on TikTok yesterday that made me want to kill myself. Okay. So I guess we're done talking about Max's six month today. No, but you'll see it. Ready? Because I guess someone,
Starting point is 00:03:32 obviously my TikTok must know what stage of motherhood I'm in. Of course they do. They're targeting me with content. And so this girl's going through the same thing. And she said, how do I explain to my heart? that my positive pregnancy test from 2024 is turning one in 2026.
Starting point is 00:03:48 I'm going to kill myself. Is turning one? Yeah. From 2024? The test was in 20. Wait, hold on. Wait, hold on. Oh, okay, I thought you meant the stick, because actually the stick is almost two.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Sure, but the stick is not a person. No, but I was like, okay, that was confusing. The stick isn't, it wasn't. you're just like refusing to find meaning in my quote no no I was sad and I thought that was so cute how do I tell my heart like I was ready it is cute you're just like not smart enough to understand that's okay sorry for your neuronic TikTok content that I didn't get it well you just don't get it what's that from oh carry when her in that second movie when her and big start like wanting to spend the weekends apart and Charlotte's like well that's not a marriage and she's like we just don't get it yeah we do
Starting point is 00:04:40 your marriage is falling apart. Sure. No, no, we get it. Sharf is still married, but okay. We get it. She gets it. And then you go and kiss Aiden. You just don't get it.
Starting point is 00:04:50 You just don't get it. Yeah, so big day. Big day here. I think maybe I will do half a cake. The boys would be thrilled to have another slice of cake after the birthday celebrations. I love your cake, Max. I love your cake, Max. Max.
Starting point is 00:05:09 I celebrated the seventh. She was satchy last night. You did. How was her cake, Satch? Oh, it was delicious, actually. We went to the polo bar. Yeah, that's right. My third time this month.
Starting point is 00:05:20 And we, of course, had to indulge in desserts. And so we got the caramel Sunday and a warm brownie with ice cream with a little candle. And it was just fucking delicious. I'd love getting dessert at restaurants. Yeah. It is nice. It's an underrated part of the experience. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:35 How was Miss Margo? Miss Margo, you know? No words. literally no words. I'm speechless. She was great. I think she used to go out. She was celebrating her birthday.
Starting point is 00:05:51 We were cracking jokes. She loved my gift. Oh, she did. Tell everyone what you got her. Yeah. So actually, I've never seen anyone have it before, but it's like a cross-body phone case
Starting point is 00:06:01 from Prada that you snap your phone into, but it's not like a case. If you've ever connected your phone to like a tripod, it's like a little holder and it has the Prada logo on the back and you can just basically wear just your phone cross-body. It was sick. It's very cool, girl. I feel like she probably probably.
Starting point is 00:06:13 wanted it like for Coachella or stage coach. She would have enjoyed it for that next year. No, so it's next year. And she's always had a concert or something. She'll find a way to wear it. Exactly. Yeah. She'd love my present too, the swimsuits. And she didn't get those ones for herself. So she was just like she's going to keep all of them. Part J. As she should. Today feels like a very relaxed day. I feel like we've had like the Met Gala. We've had TV recaps. We've had your toasters. I didn't watch anything last night. Like there was nothing on. We're just like chilling. Yeah, we're chilling. I got a massage last. I got a massage last. night as like a oh yeah my pre mother's day my mother's day gift a little early and I need to stop
Starting point is 00:06:50 getting massages they are just not for me at this stage of my life I cannot relax I am so high strung and I'm just laying there like thinking of all the things I could be doing and it's so it's just a shame because last time we got a massage was our anniversary we went to a five star spot in the middle of the day and so I was like what am I doing here in the middle of the day I have meetings if I could get these 30 minutes back I'd be I wouldn't have to speed while I'm driving. I feel that. So I was like not getting massage in the middle of the day again.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Like you know what sounds good? A massage at the end of the day. After bedtime. When my bones are weary. After bedtime and then I slide into my bed. So that's what I did last night and I still just couldn't enjoy it. Yeah, I feel like I go through eras where I just can't lay there. I'm not like a big massage person.
Starting point is 00:07:32 My husband would get a massage on the side of the road. Like he does not care. He can relax unaffected. No, I'm with you. There's so much on my mind. Like it becomes unrelathing. And then you're just like counting down the minutes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:45 And then it's like, how do I navigate the situation? Should I want to get up early? Oh, you can't get up early. Are you crazy? I'm going to get up early, sort of gal. That's crazy. Thank you so much. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:07:58 That's crazy. No, you can't do that. You have to just take it. So please remind me next time I book a massage that I don't actually want a massage. I'm not equipped. I just go like there are times in your life where you'll be getting massages and you're just not in one right now. Yeah, no, I'm not. So now I know.
Starting point is 00:08:13 I've tried it both ways. Like, no, we're going to be on hold. Which is sad because I do love the idea of a massage. But like, I'm just like, oh my gosh, I could have been editing the redheads. Yeah, a massage is like a young person and an old person thing. Like not in between. And we're in the middle right now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:27 You would think, though, like a young mother of three physical, like at the end of the day, she just wants her bones are up. Like, no, she just wants to sit and scroll. Absolutely. Literally. Answer some emails. Sit and scroll. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:41 So we tried. All right. There's always next here. Yeah, but don't let me. Don't let me. I'll make sure. Give me like an hour. I need an hour blocked of just like in a,
Starting point is 00:08:53 being alone. In like a business center. All right, I'll get you a gift card to the local business center. How does that sound? Yeah, office max. Literally. No, you need like a membership to like one of those co-working spaces. Office Max.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Office Max. Max. Maxi. Well, happy birthday to Max. Yeah, it can't be a membership to WeWork. Yeah, or like there are a couple of them in the city, like Noia House. I don't know if it still exists, but it was like for young professionals to get together. The Wing.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Okay, I'll get your membership to the Wing. The Women's Only membership. That's where I need. That's where I need a space where I can work for an hour. Love that. Uninterrupted. Yeah. Beautiful.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Really, really, really romantic gift. Well, I'm sorry that it didn't work out in the way that you had hoped, but there's always next year. Yeah. When do you leave for your big trip? Tomorrow. I was talking to Lish yesterday. He did get you a present.
Starting point is 00:09:55 Of course, and I assume that it's to my standards. I'm not even concerned. I forget what it. If he told me what it was, I forget. I feel like he might have skipped right over it and said, I said, did you get or something? And he said, yeah, this is, I think this is what he said. He said, yeah, he did get your present.
Starting point is 00:10:08 But then he said, and we're taking a trip. And then I started like talking more about the trips. So I never asked what you got. Okay, that doesn't like. I know. I'm trying to think. That doesn't sound like. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:10:20 You know what? I'm going to be. No, no, we were worried he wasn't going to get you something. And the thing about Lish. I was never concerned about that. The thing about Lish is that, like, he actually always overdoes it. You actually don't. That's what I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:10:32 I'm not concerned. No, but you said on the show like he better get you like a, you're worried that he doesn't realize that this is such a milestone. Yeah, well, I've been really hyping up the trip and how excited I am. So like, hopefully. has just been taking my subtle hints. I really am so excited, but like I've never traveled with a child before. Like my checklist is overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Like, I got to bring everything, you know? Oh. Is the hotel like kid friendly where they have cribs and tings? I'm not sure. They probably have a crib. You don't have to bring a pack and play. No, no, I'm not bringing a pack and play. I feel like even like they have cribs at like a motel six.
Starting point is 00:11:06 It's like a basic human right. Yeah, like it's like the Bible in the drawer. I don't feel like I even have to ask. Yeah, it's like the Bible in the drawer. Exactly. It's like a bar of soap. Are you bringing Romeo? Jackie, be for real.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Are you serious? I feel like that's the sort of trip that you bring your dog on. That's a sort of trip maybe you bring a dog on. For sure. A little staycation. I saw the funniest TikTok. It was like postpartum,
Starting point is 00:11:32 it was a picture of her like with her stroller pushing her baby and her dog on the leash. And she was like post part of mamas. Do you ever just go of the leash? And the comments were like, This makes me so sad. Like, girl, grow up. At least she took the dog on a walk.
Starting point is 00:11:48 At least she took the dog on a walk. It's more than I can say. With the baby. That's ambitious. Ben does it all the time. It makes me so nervous. Bruno, you can't do this, but like Bruno would go under the stroller in the, like, carriage. That's cute.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Yeah, really cute. He was very happy there. Yeah, if Romeo would chill, I would let him come in the basket. Maybe then he could be invited on trips to the Cape. Trips to the Cape. Did you see Olivia Colpo's? It's her dog's birthday. say and she Olivia Kobo and I are just like on different journeys and what's crazy is like she's
Starting point is 00:12:17 like one of my fellow mamas like her Laura Elena we gave birth in like the same month or two so I really relate to her content and I'm always curious to see what she's up to and her dog content like I genuinely cannot relate to she did like a whole tribute for Oliver Sprinkles's birthday they made him a six pound tomahawk steak for his birthday could you imagine I can't imagine carrying that much no no to make a steak for the dog to make a cake for the dog to make a carousel. Like that's a lot of work. Oh, no, it's in her stories. I don't know if she did carousel, too, but it was in her stories. It was actually really sweet. Well, I'm happy for all of her. Sprinkles. Maybe is, is she open? Is she taking other fosters? Like,
Starting point is 00:12:56 would be a loving home for Romeo. I joke. Actually, a couple of days ago, we started to let Romeo sleep in our bed. Um, that it's been quite nice, actually. I feel like we're, I really want, there is a yearning, like, there's a desire. You want to have a dog? No, no. I want to, I want to love the dog that I have. Okay. The practical application of policy is making it difficult, but I'm really, like, I would like to just, like, love Romeo. I loved having a dog.
Starting point is 00:13:23 I loved being a dog lover. Like, I don't want to be this curmudginy old lady who hates her dog, but, like, I hate my fucking dog. I feel like sleeping in bed together helps. Yes, no, and he was being really cute. He came up on my pillow. Like, it's cute. Oh, that's so cute.
Starting point is 00:13:37 Like, that's Bruno and I special time. Yeah, like, we'll get there. We'll get there. Like, there is a disease. desire. Yeah. Okay, you will get there. And also once you see like Ruby and Romeo. Of course, of course. Do they play? Do they know each other? Yeah, of course. Romeo, stop. Romeo. That's literally me all the time. Ruby thinks his name is Romeo. Stop. Like, because, you know what? When we were in Florida for so long, I really relaxed. Because, you know, like, Romeo was walking on the beach. His feet weren't. He walks out in the streets. I'm like, get off the mat. I'm like really nutty. One thousand percent. Get off the mat. It's disgusting. Get off. Get off. No, no. You're wrong. not wrong for that. I never am.
Starting point is 00:14:15 It's true. I played mahjong yesterday for so long. Like we were playing, we play all, like the group that I play with, we played during nap time. So it's really perfect. Like it's two hours. We all, but like the two hours just like weren't enough. So everybody like brought their kids over to the mahjong room. And it was part of we played for like four hours.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Fun. It was. Did you win? I did. A lot. Not like, it wasn't a landslide. It wasn't incessant. Everybody won a bunch.
Starting point is 00:14:42 We probably played like 10 games and I won three. Okay. That's good. I just didn't want to embarrass myself. No, no, no. It was a good showing. Yeah, absolutely. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:54 What else can I tell you? Well, I guess we could get into the stories if we must. Ugh. I know. Actually, we have like pretty good stories today. All right, fine. RBG. Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

And too often, the options out there, whether you're feeding a baby, a toddler, or a big kid, just do not meet the standards of what you want for your child. Parenting, parents are consistently asked to compromise on ingredients, nutrition,

If you're in the toddler stage, they have biteables, which are cut to size meals that make the transition to table food much easier. For big kids, they have plates that are heat and eat with superfoods, hidden veggies. The lunchers are very nostalgic, but made with such better ingredients. They've got puffs. Starting point is 00:19:41 from your nutrient reserves and a lot of women actually star pregnancy already low without realizing it. That's why the prenatals that you take are so important. And parallel is such a great option, whether you're in the conception stage, whether you have conceived. Actually, when I was like going to the doctor before I got pregnant, she actually recommended being on prenatals like long before you actually get pregnant. And so parallel is such a great option. It's actually better to build up the nutrients before you actually need it for pregnancy.
Starting point is 00:20:05 So starting early makes you feel calm and proactive. And parallel is great because it's designed for the not trying yet phase. They literally created a conception support pack for this in-between season. It's not just a generic prenatal. It includes nutrients that OB's really prioritized before conception like CO-Q-10, DHA, folate,
Starting point is 00:20:21 colate, coline. It's founded by practicing OBGYN. We love their prenatals. I love that they have different. prenatals for different trimesters. You're not just taking the same thing as everyone else for the entire pregnancy. And they're also now covering the time before you get pregnant, which is just as important. They even have vitamins for your man. So you'll both be optimized for conception. There's no downside to starting early. It functions. It's just a really high quality daily multivitamin now.
Starting point is 00:20:45 And then if your timeline shifts, no problem. You're just supporting your body with pargy nutrients. Who wouldn't want that? So if you are pregnant, trying, or postpartum, you definitely have to check out parallel. We really recommend it. And they gave us an exclusive code just for our listeners where new customers can use code toast to get 20% off your first order at parallel health.com. That's P-E-R-E-L-E-L-E-L-Halth.com. Thank you, Turtelow. I just forgot. Just wanted to update everyone the next one last night, which is great for like my Shalomba'i. But also, as you guys know, I'm going to the fourth game. So when in the playoffs, like it's best of seven. So you have to win four. And the next have won two in a row. And I'm going to the fourth game. So
Starting point is 00:21:24 if they win this like I have the possibility. going to the championship game. No, not that, well, yeah, it's not the championship, but it's, like, it could be the one where they move to the next round. Yay. Oh, all games, of course, all games are beautiful. Oh, wait, this isn't the finals.
Starting point is 00:21:38 This isn't the finals? No, people in New York are so drama. Like, we are, we have the worst sports team, so, like, when we make it, this is literally the second round. Like, but people get, like, Timothy Shalima, like, so, no, it's not even close. Like, I think if they win the next round, then they go to the finals.
Starting point is 00:21:54 Oh, my God. We're far out. is a saint. Oh my god, Kylie looked hot last night. And did you see her in Jordan Woods? No, no. Like, she, she does. Yes, that's true. The place looks great. It always does. Did you see her and Jordan Wood celebrating on the court? And then like Timothy, like, dabbing up Carl, Carle Anthony Towns. Oh, that's very cute. Yeah, it was cute. Like, they need to go to dinner. I'm sure they do. I don't know, because they were both wrapped four Charles after the last win, but like at totally different times. Like, they weren't together. Like that same night? Yeah. They didn't eat together.
Starting point is 00:22:23 No, I feel like they're, they all get together. Timothy loves Carl. Jordan. I actually just feel like it's so awkward. You think it's always going to be awkward? Between Kylie and Jordan. Like, first of all, they had a really genuinely unhealthy friendship. Yeah. And then, like, the family just totally dropped Jordan. Like, they did what they had to do. But like in hindsight, like, whatever, you know, like, it's Tristan. Not whatever. I know, I know, I know. That's, it's actually really crazy
Starting point is 00:22:49 that she did that. And they did that too. Was Chloe pregnant? No. No, that wasn't a pregnant. one. No. It was just really, I'm sorry. She's always around like little sis. Yeah, no, it was not a, for sure, but like, wow, that was such a crazy time, not to go back there. It's so crazy that that happened, like, shocking beyond the belief. Like, like, truth is to start a list, actually. Stranger than fiction. Of, like, pop culture moments we've, like, lived through and reported on that are so crazy. Like, because so many things happen and we move on, but, like, Meg's it, of course. Like, that was insane. Honestly, Jordan Woods, like 10 pool events of our career. I'm trying to think what else.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Candival and West Mandival. Yes, we're living through a couple right now. Taylor Frankie Paul Bachelorette cancellation was unlike anything we've ever experienced. Yeah, I bet we could also tell from like our most listened to a tailor on the field. Licks versus Lex. Yeah, we're living through history. Also, I have my whiteboard, but we did like, we did teeter on like talking about on Monday. What did we do? We were talking about Formula One. Tassie. No, I'm sorry. That's not us like incessantly bringing it up. Like that's just the news of the day. I think, I think we're in the clear, honestly. Well, no, we have a couple of like milestones coming up where we will unfortunately have to talk about it because that Vanity Fair article,
Starting point is 00:24:09 as far as I know, is still in the works, which kind of makes me think that like they don't have a lot on him. I think it's like a Mac Kaplan hit piece that they've been working on now for quite a while because I've spoken to people who have been reached out like now for weeks. And I feel like if they had a lot they would publish it. Also it's very weird that everyone knows that this article is forthcoming and like there's no article. Maybe the article was a friends
Starting point is 00:24:33 we made along the way. Maybe it was. No, but like it is alleged. Aside, like that rarely happens where like usually when someone has like a hit piece it's kind of like out of nowhere and it's like bam! You know? Well, no. Actually, when somebody has a hit piece, the person who it's being written about does know. The person is being written about
Starting point is 00:24:51 but the whole world knows that it's coming. no. Well, maybe we wouldn't have if this story hadn't blown up with Alex Earl because now like everyone's just sharing everything they know and what they know is like a fun fact. Oh, you know, my high school friend got reached out to because she went to college with Matt Kaplan. Yeah. I don't know. I just feel like they're losing their momentum at this rate. They are. Whatever they're going to write is probably not as salacious as what. Well, the fact that they're like now like still reaching out to people for the first time like looking for testimonials doesn't really make me feel confident that they have got anything juicy because if they did, like, they wouldn't need to be scraping the bottom of the barrel
Starting point is 00:25:24 for like round four of interviews. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's time to move on. Yeah. Or just really sit. Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:25:34 And also like us, like I'm not waiting for it, you know? It's like waiting for rain in the strout. Absolutely like waiting for rain in the strout. Perfect. Perfect movie reference. Okay. Our first story, Summerhouse Star West Wilson addresses his private photos leaking on the worst day of his life.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Oh, I didn't know that. was on his podcast that he's still doing, credit to him. And he said, I know my fucking news leaked, but guess what? It's like the sixth worry of mine right now. That's funny. Yeah, it's actually, he's having a really good approach to it. He told his co-host that he has a lot of shit going on, but that he's going to own that the pictures are of him.
Starting point is 00:26:11 He said they're not even sexual. They look medical. Yeah, that's really funny. He said, I'm soft in all of them. I don't even know if the other two are me. He confirmed the photos were taken in his old apartment, but he couldn't remember how old they are. He said, I had a sauna by my bathroom,
Starting point is 00:26:26 and I would always get out of the sauna and double check or check progress. He said his friend texted him about it five minutes before he walks on stage at the summer house reunion. That's a bad friend. He said, I was like, motherfucker. I know I've had the worst day of my life already, which is good to know that's behind me. He said he's laughing about the situation because if not, he'll fucking cry. He said, manscape partnership down the road, hopefully.
Starting point is 00:26:49 L-O-L. Now here's the thing. I did see the pictures and I would never discuss them. I mean, I'm Taka Jihari, but I would never order. Didn't you bring them up on the show? Yeah, I was like saying in like a reprehensible way. Like people are sending them to me.
Starting point is 00:27:07 Like stop. Well, the thing is when this stuff leaks and it comes across my desk, I don't know if like I'm seeing it just because like I'm an insider and like I'm privy to these things or has the whole world seen it. I don't know. I guess the whole world had seen it. And so while I think, you know, it's terrible, I like his approach. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:27:30 I love his approach. And I don't feel like he needs to explain himself. But I appreciate him letting everyone know that he was soft because I feel like that's just like an important. Detail. I didn't look closely enough to even know like if they were flattering, unflattering. They were, I like his use of the word.
Starting point is 00:27:51 medical. Yeah, they felt very clinical. Yeah, like they were not hot. You send your doctor to be like, hey, is this normal? Is this normal? Yeah. So, I don't know. What's funny is that like he has a podcast and like we're all dying to hear from him. We're like everyone's itching at the leaks. Like it's like and he literally sitting down weekly on his podcast talking about all the stuff that we would hope he would talk about.
Starting point is 00:28:16 And it's still not compelling enough to get me to listen to it. I don't know anybody. Like the clips even on TikTok. talk like they're not viral where he's like sitting there talking about the reunion. I'm like I would actually love to hear you talk about this but oh it's on your podcast. Thank you. No can do. Yeah. It's just not going to work. Yeah. But I don't know. I think he's handling actually in like a refreshing sort of way of just like business as usual. So it seems like some ownership. They both are like taking a very like candid funny approach to their coming back. Like Amanda posted like a mirror picture and was like boo.
Starting point is 00:28:50 which is like a funny caption. That is kind of funny. Yeah, so like, I don't know, I feel like they have this united approach to like be funny. Or just like be light. Yeah. And I think there's not really a right way to do it
Starting point is 00:29:03 because I don't know if it can even be done. I actually don't know. I know. It remains to be seen. Might as well, like, try something that's not like totally like debasing to yourself, you know? Other people just like engage in like literal self-harm
Starting point is 00:29:16 for months online. I'm the worst. Yeah. And they'll post like themselves doing it. sound bath being like working on reflecting and doing better and it's like okay come down tom sandevall went to mirroval rachel like moved to another state and she went to an institution but yeah and it's like or you just go to the yankees game and take a selfie yeah like either way the world i kind of like either way the world hates you so like enjoy your life yeah absolutely i agree yeah um okay next
Starting point is 00:29:44 story oh very exciting content news l teaser trailer legally blonde pre Prequel takes Elle Woods back to high school. So we finally got a trailer for the Legally Blonde prequel series that is coming out on Amazon this summer. Prime Video released a trailer for Elle. And it gives a glimpse into the life of a high school age, Elle Woods. The premise is that, you know, she's Elle from Bel Air, as we all know her. And then her dad, like, gets a job in Seattle and she has to go. They fall on hard times.
Starting point is 00:30:14 She has, is it hard times? Like, it's a good job and he has to move to Seattle. No, I think they fall on hard times. So they moved to Seattle for high school and then she's like, you know, with all these green hareds in high school when she's like, you know, L. Bubbly Pink. And the premise is great. Although like I want to exist in the L. Bubbly Pink universe, like the trailer when it was like in Bel Air.
Starting point is 00:30:35 I was like, yeah. And then they go to Seattle. I'm like, okay, what is this? Twilight. Like I want the pargy pink vibe. Yeah. Yeah. I agree with that.
Starting point is 00:30:43 And what she's going to like learn to thrive in Seattle. I have hope because it does sound very similar to one of my. favorite prequel shows, which is the Carrie Diaries, where we take Carrie Bradshaw's, you know, childhood in, I believe, Connecticut, and make it into a series played by Anna Sophia Rob, starring love interest, Austin Butler, literally one of the best shows ever. And it had, like, literally nothing to do with Carrie Bradshaw. It's, it's not her. Like, they just both had curly hair and, like, like, purses. Um, so this is giving that. Yeah. It's just like a fish out of water story, but it looks to be like, done to a tea. Very cute. Yeah, like, well done. Very real. I,
Starting point is 00:31:21 will for sure be watching. It releases on July 1st. Yeah. And also, I feel as though in the Legally Blonde universe, the fans have been promised a lot over the years. It was the sequel. Mindy Kaling was doing Legally Blonde 4. And now there's a prequel. You know, there's a trailer. I see, it's actually been filmed. So for that, I'm grateful. Yeah. And it's already... The legally blonde fans have been kind of left hanging. It's already been renewed for season two, which I feel like means it's really good. Yeah. Is Rees Witherspoon involved as a producer? Because I remember when they did the search for um the star like she was involved in it yeah this girl's a cutie she's a newbie yeah yes her name is um lexy mine tree you know if l was jewish and she was still living in belle air
Starting point is 00:32:11 during the time of her bat mitzvah her a great theme would be bell air that's really beautiful that's what i do i think of fictional bat mitzah themes it is like what you do yeah it's like so fun we love thinking of bimitsa themes give me someone else share harowitz had she had a bat mitzv well she's jewess she probably had a bambitza what do you think her theme was she wasn't really into share she's like into passion no she was named after share the singer named oh so i could see her mom making like share the theme yeah or like something with fashion of course yeah yeah shares closet yeah everybody goes home with like a sweater classic classic stuff Are you ready for our next story?
Starting point is 00:32:57 Third. No. I guess, yeah. A little rumored new couple news. Taylor Fritz was reportedly spotted getting cozy with Olivia Jade after his recent split from his girlfriend of six years, Morgan Riddle. Okay. This is so crazy. Taylor Fritz is like a top five U.S. tennis player.
Starting point is 00:33:17 American. Yeah. And we talked about this a couple of weeks ago that the rumor mill was a swirl and that him and his longtime girlfriend influence or morgues had broken up. Then, like, she kind of debunked the rumor. It was everywhere. She debunked it on Instagram, and then they broke up the next day. So I don't know if it was like a curse or it was true at the time or it wasn't true.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Whatever. She moved to New York and is making, like, scorned girl content, whatever. Onto Libby Jade and Taylor Fritz. Now, I want to say, I love this for Olivia Jade because, like, seriously, fuck Jacob Lordy. Fuck him, okay? But I actually, I get the vibe that he's like an asshole. Like, I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I just feel like he's not a nice guy. just purely based on vibes, I have no personal experience. Like, I just feel like he's not a good boyfriend. And also, doesn't he have a child? He has a child. And I just feel like that's not congruous at this moment with what Olivia Jade needs. To be like, yeah, like, she's literally 12 years old. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:10 I don't know anything about his personality. I don't catch a vibe any which way. However, I think it takes a certain type of person to be at that level. And that's, oh, yes. And it's not. the sort of person that's going to be great boyfriend material. One, because of the dedication that you need to be like singularly focused on your craft. And two, because when you're at the top of the world, like, yeah, you're probably going to be an
Starting point is 00:34:34 asshole with the whole world kissing your feet. No, even if you are raised right and like you're not an asshole, you're right. Like the dedication that it takes to operate at like one of the highest levels of performance, like doesn't really lend itself to being like a supportive partner. And it's like tennis is not, unless you're playing like doubles or whatever. It's a singular sport. a team sport, like at least football players, like they have to work with other people. They have to credit other people.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Like, you know, it's a, it's their teammates. They know how to operate as a team. When you're like a solo dolo, I think you can become like really insulated. I just know that nobody on the planet is having a better month than Paige Lorenz. Like the two of them were fighting for like Queen Bee of the U.S. Open and now like one of the bees is left the hive. Like she's not even a part of it anymore. So I just know that this is a great day to be Paige Lorenz.
Starting point is 00:35:21 So congrats. one. Also, I wonder if, like, Olivia does become a tennis swag and, like, is doing the circuit. And then if, like, her and Paige do become friends. Because Taylor and Tommy are friends. They're doubles partners. Right. The reason why Paige Lorenz and, I don't know, but they're really good friends.
Starting point is 00:35:39 I may have just made that up. Oh, maybe at the Olympics. It was always weird that the girlfriends weren't friends. Not only because they look alike and they have all the same interests. But their mans are also friends. Yeah. I had heard that it got so bad that, like, the man's starting. of getting involved. Like, that's what I heard. But so, this could be a new leaf for Tommy and Page and
Starting point is 00:35:58 Taylor and Olivia. It's just also, like, a stunt for Olivia. Like, I loved when Olivia started dating Jacob Allerty because everybody was, like, college admissions scandal. And I was like, sorry, I'm more involved than that. And I love that, like, Jacob gave her, like, something else for people to talk about. And now, like, Jacob's moved on and, like, she, I feel like he definitely was not a good boyfriend to her either. I just get that vibe. So I love that she's able to, like, stunt, because he's the biggest movie star, so she couldn't, like, date another movie star. But, yeah, Sure. Okay, I'll date like the number one American tennis player. Fine. Fine, but don't you feel like, as far as like, if we're really rooting for Olivia Jade to like find a great relationship,
Starting point is 00:36:30 it's like too soon for Taylor Fritz to be actually dating someone. They broke up last week, a girlfriend of six years. Yeah, no, this is not her guy. I don't think that they're going to end up together. And I don't ship at all, but I love this for her star. Yeah, and for her story. Absolutely. But I do have concerns. Like, that's really quick. No, she needs to eventually, like in a few years, once like she's made her. her name. She needs to go to the Sophia Ritchie Grange Institute of Technology and find an Elliott Grange. Yeah, a businessman. Who can sort of like a bankroll her socialite life. Yeah. Also, we got a couple of funny comments for businesswoman of the week this week. Nicole Sanchez.
Starting point is 00:37:08 For Lauren Bezos Sanchez. Nicole. I think that she is that. She's actually like one of the greatest businesswoman of our time. I think she's the wealthiest woman in the country. But you guys aren't ready for that conversation. No, you're not. And you're not ready to learn from her yet. No. And yeah, that's why she's where she's at and where we're at. No, no, not we. Like, no, not us, not us. Not us. Not you. Not you guys because you listen to the toast and your sound of mine. Yeah, but like the others. Oh. Yeah. Yeah. I like that. Like over there. Not in the camera. Not the ones in the camera that I'm talking to. The one's over there. I got my nails done. Do you like my firecracker red nails? I do. I need to. I need to.
Starting point is 00:37:51 Name that movie. Name that movie. Should have gotten at home manicure last night. Life size. Yeah, every time I get red nails, I feel like Tyra Banks. Took my firecrack red nails? Are you ready for our fourth story? No.

Starting point is 00:44:16 Josh Grobin and Bales his Hollywood star with David Foster and his fiance, because I guess he's engaged to a lady. I think I knew that one time because I only recently found out Josh Grobin was Jewish, which is a red flag for me when I just find out you're Jewish and I like know your work for so long. Don't look into it. I know. I don't want to say anything bad about Josh Grobin because I absolutely love him.
Starting point is 00:44:34 But like that's happened to me a few times where like I'll find out someone is Jewish and it actually makes me hate them because it's like, how did I not know you were Jewish? and I hate to say it, but Paul Rudd. It's like that means you're never talking about the fact that you're Jewish. Yeah, yeah. It's giving ashamed.
Starting point is 00:44:49 Just saying. Yeah, no, there's definitely like, like, gripes who could have with Josh Grop and I wasn't going to bring them up on his big day. Like, I was just... No, of course not, but like, literally this just happened to me with an influence where I was following. And like, the content was starting to annoy me.
Starting point is 00:44:59 And then I found out he was Jewish. I'm like, you're kidding me. Oh, yeah. You're kidding me. So you're anti-Jew. You made a video about... You unfollowed him because he's Jewish. Because he's Jewish.
Starting point is 00:45:09 You make a video. five times a day about everything in your life and I never knew you were Jewish by unfollow. You unfollowed because he's a Jew. Yeah, I don't follow Jews like that. Well, this Jew got a star. I'll let it pass because your talent is sublime. Well, yeah, it's just like his big day so we can make it about like the body of work, you know? We could. Um, and not like the man. Wait. So it's always interesting to see who people bring to their Hollywood walk of fame. Like I think a lot of it is like, you know, business stuff, but a lot of it is very personal. Josh Gadd coming, like, as a Beauty and the Beast's Truther.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Yes, and it means the world. Also, they were classmates at Carnegie Mellon University. You're kidding. Yeah. And David Foster is his mentor. I didn't know that. You didn't know David Foster? Actually.
Starting point is 00:45:54 I discovered him? I might have because I watched a documentary. Yeah, remember David Foster discovered him as like a stand in for Andrea Boccelli. Yes, yes, yes. And then he was like, took him under his wing and made him a big star. Did David Foster have a documentary? Yes. that's where I learned that.
Starting point is 00:46:10 Also, Martin Short has a documentary that just came out, I think last night. Martin Life is short. I would love to see it. Apparently he has like a devastating personal life. Oh, interesting. Like filled with tragedy. And he's just like never stopped being
Starting point is 00:46:20 this like big funny guy. Yeah, there's a little funny guy. A lot of news from the premiere. The premiere just happened. So sorry, back to Josh Grobin. You just remind me of something because you know like literally the movie that means the most of me in this world
Starting point is 00:46:32 is the recently adaptation of being in the best. The live action version. The live action. And of course, one of our favorite moments is, of course, Gaston. Yeah, we harmonized. And I don't know if you've been seeing Luke Evans, who plays Gaston, who's like an OG theater actor. Like if you're in the theaters, he obviously does a lot of movies, but like he's known for theater. He is in the new, I don't know, if it's Broadway, off Broadway adaptation of a Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Starting point is 00:47:05 And he plays, and I don't know, this is the name of the character and he sings a song. it's, I don't know if it's like a slur, but like it's the transvestite song. Like that's what the song is called. The transvestite song. And he's like, he plays like this cross-dresser and it's such a departure from Gaston. Like he has an insane range because I didn't even recognize him at first.
Starting point is 00:47:25 They performed on Jimmy Fallon, like the cast. Oh my God. I was shook. I'm like, is that Gaston? Is that Gaston? Why wasn't Luke Evans there? Oh, because he's on Broadway. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:40 But also, Josh Gors, just did a song for the movie. He probably wasn't on set. He did an important song. Oh, no, no. His role to the movie is integral for the viewers, but I don't think he was on set with the actors. I know.
Starting point is 00:47:53 He actually could have been The Beast. He could have, but Dan Stevens did a lovely job. Well, they had to kill him off in downtown Abbey, spoiler alert, so he could get the gig. I think it was worth it, even though I miss Matthew. And that was sort of like... Even though he's literally not in the movie because he's under a mask the whole time as the Beast.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Yeah, it could have been anyone like doing the Beast. and then he could have just been in the beginning and the end. For one day. He could show up for one day. Yeah. And then I feel like things went downhill for Mary after that. Like it was never the same. No, but it was never the same. Like even though she had like great moments like nothing was as good as Mary and Matthew. That was such a big mistake.
Starting point is 00:48:26 Like I'm sorry. Yeah. Sorry not to get. So why was Josh Gad there? Classmates. Yeah, I guess. Their classmates. They came up together.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Who else? Who's engaged to? A woman named Natalie. Natalie McQueen. Okay. I don't know her. Me neither. And Ben Schwartz, who's that?
Starting point is 00:48:52 His Coffee Town co-star. Excuse me? Okay. Mazel to Josh Grobin. I just think that like the requirements that you need to meet to get a star in the walk of fame, like really confuse me. Yeah. I agree. he's like very
Starting point is 00:49:12 he's very successful in storied and like he's in some echelon of like greatness I would say but yeah but Hollywood I think he's more like Broadway yeah and like he's more of a singer less of an actor but I guess yeah
Starting point is 00:49:25 due to his Broadway contributions Sweeney Todd yeah but then it's crazy that Stanley Tucci got one last week like I don't know I feel as though he would have been eligible weeks ago months ago years ago I don't know
Starting point is 00:49:36 right I guess it's contributions to entertainment like Andy got one he's never acting Yeah, yeah, fine, fine, fine. Yeah. It is pretty well-rounded. Yes, yes. Our fifth and final story is some sports news. Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo will not run in the Preakness stakes.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Yeah, so they can be Triple Crown. No Triple Crown winner this year because Golden Tempo, who just won the Kentucky Derby, will be taking off of the Preakness. His female trainer said we are incredibly appreciative of the excitement. Excuse me, his female trainer, his trainer. She doesn't like to be referred to as that. Did you see her? I didn't, but I was just saying that not because, but just like for anyone who's listening,
Starting point is 00:50:15 just as a reminder that it was like the female trainer. Yeah, she was asked about it on Jenna and Chanel and then also on Dave Portnoy. She was like, it's great that like young girls can look up to me, but like, I'm just a trainer. So like, stop calling me the girl trainer. I understand. I wasn't saying it in a way that I just wanted to recall for people like that his trainer was the female. Who don't know why we're reporting on this.
Starting point is 00:50:35 Who made her story? No, of course. But according to her, like she really doesn't care. And she's just one of the guys. Like she's not like other girls. Oh, she's literally ad log. That's cute. So his trainer said, we are incredibly appreciative of the excitement and support
Starting point is 00:50:50 surrounding the possibility of a triple crown run. Golden gave us the race of a lifetime in the Kentucky Derby, and we believe the best decision for him moving forward is to give him a little more time following such a tremendous effort. His health, happiness and long-term future will always remain our top priority. So Golden Tempo is actually the third Derby winner in the past five years to not enter into the Preakness. A lot of horses that run the Preakness do not, that run the
Starting point is 00:51:11 Derby do not run the prequeness anymore because they're so close together. There's actually talk in the horse world of pushing back the pretense. Yeah. But it's like, well, Secretary could do it. American Farrow did it. Yeah. Like not to be insensitive. But I just don't think we should lower the bar.
Starting point is 00:51:26 But like how long do you need to recover from like a four minute race? I know. I don't know. But it's like they used to be able. I just feel like there's something they're not telling us about the horse. No, they used to be able to do it. Like let's not lower the bar. We're supposed to be getting better and better.
Starting point is 00:51:40 You know. advancements in medicine and horse care and horse training, like you're going to make it easier? I don't know. It's just a shame that they set it up this way to begin with. It seems stupid. Yeah, absolutely. But it can be done.
Starting point is 00:51:54 It can be done. American Farrow did in 2015 and justify in 2018. And so maybe, what's the horse's name? Golden Tempo. Maybe Golden Tempo isn't the girl that I thought she was. It's true. Also, apparently, like, none of the horses that ran the derby are running the prequeness because they're all like taking off.
Starting point is 00:52:13 Okay, so like that's annoying. Yeah. Yeah. I just feel like some of the steam has been taken out of the prequeness now. Like it's not going to be as fun. Of course. We're not rooting for a triple crown. And what's the third one?
Starting point is 00:52:24 The Belmont. New York. Yeah. I should go. You should go. Is it always at Belmont race track? Because this year the prequeness is like not at the prequeness because I guess the prequeness is under construction.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Oh, they're doing rent out. I mean, they literally have all year to do it. But okay. Yeah. It's literally a patch of dirt, but okay, sure. Yeah, okay, sure. Construct it. Funny, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:46 The Preakness. Oh, the Belmont is taking place at Saratoga. It's hosting Belmont for a third and final time. It's here. The Belmont's under construction. Yeah, it's kind of old. Yeah, because when I was thinking of Belmont, I'm like, not that rusty old place we used to drive the highway.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Yeah. Yeah, it's like disgusting. I once went. It was like not fabulous. I'm not surprised to hear that you didn't have a guitar. Oh, I actually, yeah, I had a really bad time. Oh, did you? Yeah, it was not for me.
Starting point is 00:53:16 You don't know thyself. What was so bad about it? And what were you there for? Well, we went with all my college friends. We went for who was the one that year? There was like a horse. Yeah, California something. Something.
Starting point is 00:53:30 It was a big, like, exciting one. I don't think he won. It was like his chance of the triple crown. And my whole, like, college gang was going. So I went and just like train, day drinking, train, was not for, me. Train. A lot of train.
Starting point is 00:53:44 A lot of drinking. I was wearing the wrong shoes. What shoes were you right? It was actually sneakers, but they didn't have an arch. Oh, you are seriously such a grandma. You wore the wrong shoes, sneakers. I think this combers. I just remember like really notoriously uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Really feeling flatfooted that day. I actually do know what you mean. Like, but you sound insane. I need a bit of support. support for my arch. Yeah, absolutely. Um, so yeah, I'm glad they're fixing up the Belmontals to say, because it was not glamorous. Yeah, yucky. So those are the fast five stories. I feel as though you needed to know. And it's giving Nassafi. Is it Nassaf? 55 minutes. Oh, let's keep going. Oh, actually, a story I didn't choose, but like I want to talk about it and like, I'm going to take this as a
Starting point is 00:54:35 sign to bring it up. Yeah. Another update in Mike Frable and Diana Rossini's affair. So much you're listening to the toast of the night morning show. It's really crazy. Do you see it? Okay, what? They rented a boat while she was pregnant. They rented a boat two months before she gave birth. And what's crazy is like, of course, they were carrying on an affair while she was
Starting point is 00:54:52 pregnant. Pregnant. Potentially allegedly his child. But like the people from the boating place like released their waivers where you see like where they signed. Like that's like kind of fucked up. It is kind of fucked up. Um, so two things can be true.
Starting point is 00:55:05 Like they should not have done that. But like she was eight months pregnant like cruising with her man's. That's insane. It's crazy work. It's obviously their baby. It's crazy. It just keeps getting crazier. This is a year's long affair.
Starting point is 00:55:22 And I want to thank you. I want to thank you for not choosing it. Yeah, no, I wasn't going to do. No matter how hard, like, Liz P. Woods tries, like, you're not going to get me to care about these people. I didn't know who they were before. I don't care about these people because I don't really know who they are, but like, this, like, six long years of fair where they're married and there's children.
Starting point is 00:55:39 and they just like keep it actually sounds like a movie you know yeah like why not just be together i don't understand you obviously love each other right what's stopping you aside from your like spouses right that's a big one yeah well the place looks great it always does thank you so much for listening to the tuesdays and a lot of morning show where we deliver the fast-fac stories you need to do everybody the friday and youtube so we're watching it on youtube please if it's a subscribe me this video thumbs up we're also available as podcast and our podcast can found so that's potify it and tish are probably ready.
