Starting point is 00:00:00 It's Jackson Claude and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show. The best five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's The Toast. They sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Monday because Jackson Claude is coming to town. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:33 Jackson Claude is coming to town. Jackson Claude is coming to town. Yeah that's right, the beautiful sounds are brought to you by Jackson Claude coming to town. Jackson's in town. Hey, Jackson, how you doing? I'm darn good. So happy to be here for our big week. This is such a big week. Let me tell you why. Please. Shall I count the reasons? Shall I count the ways? Yes. One, Jackson Claude is coming to town. We're together. Always so fun. The aforementioned coming to town. Yeah. And I'm here by the way, I came. She did. Two, it is our last week together
Starting point is 00:01:09 before we break for mat leave. Mat leave. For maternity leave. So it's like last week of shows, Jackson Quad. Kind of high stakes for content, do you feel? No, I feel like it's just gonna pour out of us because it's like the last week of school. Like we're breaking for summer. It's the best week ever because it's like,
Starting point is 00:01:25 you almost miss it. You even miss school because you know it's going away. It does, that's a really good comparison. It does feel like, at least hear me, I woke up, I'm like, oh my, it's my last week before I'm literally like not working. And then when I'm going to summer school and I have that like dress.
Starting point is 00:01:38 Jackie's going to summer school. It's a perfect comparison. Where it's like, I'm gonna be working harder than ever to get my degree online. Even today I'm working tonight, like it starts now. Yeah, she's taking her classes online. But the thing about Jackie is that she's getting her degree on her own time.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Like you really just don't have to worry about her. Right, so I'm gonna really miss regular school where all my friends are here. And like, I'm not the only one going to summer school. Do you think you're gonna come back with like summer school friends? Definitely, I think I'm gonna come back from your mat leave with new friends because I'm meeting a only one going to summer school. Do you think you're going to come back with summer school friends? Definitely. I think I'm going to come back from your mat leave with new friends because I'm meeting a lot of new people, some familiar faces, but a lot of new people.
Starting point is 00:02:10 I'm really going to be putting myself out there. But everyone that I've booked, like is someone that I actually know or like, you know, like want to talk to them, interested in follow. So I'm excited to meet them, but it's going to be a very social few weeks for me. So I have something to tell you. Wait, that was the second reason why. It's exciting. What's the third?
Starting point is 00:02:28 It's our first time podcasting Pregnant Together publicly. I forgot we have to. Podcasting Pregnant Together publicly. We have to do a photo shoot after this. Like, we'll just touch bellies. Well, you know what we have to do? Aren't we on a billboard this week? We're always on a billboard.
Starting point is 00:02:44 We are. We haven't really talked about the fact that we actually achieved a major milestone career-wise. In the podcasting space. We are getting. Something that like chip or no chip, they couldn't take away from us. That we are receiving,
Starting point is 00:02:56 kind of like our Hollywood Wakafe moment. Yeah. Our Spotify creator milestone, we reached the bronze tier of hitting a hundred million streams on Spotify, which we're really proud of. On Spotify alone, it doesn't include YouTube, doesn't include Apple podcasts, or most of you listen.
Starting point is 00:03:07 It's like one of our smaller platforms. It's like a minority platform, 100 million. 100 million. You see these glasses, 100 million. They're giving us a billboard, they're giving us a plaque. We actually asked for two and they said no, but like they're working on it. I think they said like you could pay for the second.
Starting point is 00:03:19 No, no, no, YouTube. You can't even pay. When we got our YouTube plaque, we were like, oh, we're like a duo, can we get two? They're like, yeah, you just have to pay. It was $150. I'm like, oh, we're like a duo, can we get two? They're like, yeah, you just have to pay, it was $150. I'm like, sure. Spotify was like, you get one.
Starting point is 00:03:28 And so we were like arguing like where it should go, but we pushed back, we were like, please. And we can be the first people to have this issue. No, I would hope if you have a podcast, like you do have a co-host, because it makes things a lot better and easier. Yeah, so we are on a billboard, so maybe we'll do our maternity shoot in Times Square.
Starting point is 00:03:44 That's what I'm thinking. Love, inspired. So publicly podcasting pregnant. Publicly podcasting pregnant, I have something to tell you. I found out something really crazy like two days ago and I'm like, you know what? I'm going to save, I want to get Jackie's reaction on, okay, I'm like hyping it up a little too much. You're becoming a Branson boy?
Starting point is 00:04:01 No. Everything you tell me is like, the Branson boys. No, no, it has, it literally actually has to do with me, which is so rare. I never get to talk about myself. So I haven't watched the newest episode of Paul American because I'm saving it. Right.
Starting point is 00:04:14 And there's another episode that comes out this week. I believe it's the finale. So me and Ben were like, we'll watch them together. We'll really enjoy it. And people were like, Claudia, you're really gonna like this episode. Cause I guess Nina's doing like birth prep and she has like a healer come.'s it does like a lot of the things
Starting point is 00:04:26 that I've been talking about so my friend Beatrice sends me a clip and I'm like I'm I do you watch Paul American she's like no watch the clip so I watched the clip and Beatrice was the one who recommended my healer to me Nina Ogdell is using my healer Yiska remember I was talking about Yiska she's on this episode of Paul American. What was the healing that you did? Okay, healing is like not the right word I use. She's a doula.
Starting point is 00:04:50 So she was recommended to me to do like moxibustion. She does acupuncture, prenatal massage, stretch. Was she the one who did your acupuncture? No, she was one who came to my house. I remember I said I felt amazing. She did all these like stretches and like this birth prep. And you slept good. And I slept really good, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:04 She was amazing and I was like so lucky to get one appointment with her. Now I know why she's so in demand. And I was like, they flew her to Puerto Rico, but I forgot that they're nesting in New York. They're nesting in New York. So I was like, oh man, not me working with the like healer to the stars.
Starting point is 00:05:16 The premier healer. When I saw Yiska, I was like, that's my girl. That is so crazy. I know. And I was like, I was wondering why people were saying like, Claudia, you're gonna love it. And I was like, oh, cause like we're doing the same thing but people didn't even realize that's my healer. Yeah. I know. And I was like, I was wondering why people were saying like, Claudia, you're going to love it. And I was like, Oh, cause like we're doing the same thing, but people didn't even realize that's my healer. Yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Well, we'll have to watch. We still have to make our big plans. Yeah. Big American plans. Actually I have, um, I have a good idea for our big watch party. Should we get like a projector? Um, my hotel has a theater and I think you can like rent it out. Oh, that's a great idea. We're so funny. Let's do it. And we also need to watch Molly May is back on Amazon. I didn't watch the first part. Oh, well, I haven't watched the second part.
Starting point is 00:05:51 I haven't watched any TV. I don't even know like what kind of TV I have, like what kind of capabilities my TV has in my hotel. But I will watch eventually. But we do have a story about her today. So I'll just I'll table on Molly May chatter. I watched the documentary about Karen Reed. I know you don't know Karen Reed. I do know that there's a documentary about Karen Reed. And I just want to say thank you to Max documentary
Starting point is 00:06:12 for like making it so concise. And like now I'm fully caught up. It's just really crazy, crazy story. And like obviously Karen Reed is being framed, you know? She's being framed by the Manhattan, I mean Manhattan, Massachusetts police department. It's so corrupt over there. But I haven't seen, and like,
Starting point is 00:06:27 obviously I'm on Karen Reid talk. There's like a free Karen Reid movement, FKR, the documentary, she sits, she's in the documentary. So it's like her story. So I'm only like seeing her side. So obviously I believe it. And it's super compelling. How long to die in the cold?
Starting point is 00:06:40 Like you guys, they totally did that shit. But like, I would like to see something compelling from the other side, just to like see what, like people who believe Karen Reed is on trial for murder and she did it, like, what do you believe? Cause everything I've seen, it's Karen Reed propaganda, but like it's compelling, they framed her. Got it.
Starting point is 00:06:57 It's just, it's, it's actually really crazy, except it's very social media heavy. So like there's this huge movement and the reason everyone's talking about it is because this one blogger blew it up and it actually ended up saving Karen's life. And I just feel like the elk of the Free Karen Reid movement, like the people, like I find them annoying.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Like now I'm on Free Karen Reid talk and I see all the people standing outside the courtroom and it's like, oh, I don't know if I want to be on your side, like you guys seem like annoying. Even though if I had to guess, Karen Reed did not kill John O'Keefe. Who did? I have no fucking idea.
Starting point is 00:07:32 I have no fucking idea. You know who has less of a clue? Me. Yeah, yeah. I do think you would enjoy, it's also it's gotten quite political, because he's a police officer. So it's taken the town of Canton, Massachusetts by storm.
Starting point is 00:07:44 And I'm just along for the ride now. I'm like involved in the TikToks. I'm like, it's taken the town of Canton, Massachusetts by storm. And I'm just along for the ride now. I'm involved in the TikToks. I don't even know how my phone knew that I watched it. But the second I opened my phone, it's kind of nice because I wanted to dive deep more into it. But how did they know? Like I literally watched the documentary. It was texting Brian.
Starting point is 00:08:01 And then the next thing I know, every single thing on my TikTok is Karen Reed. They literally heard it on your phone. So she basically is being accused of killing her boyfriend. And they can't even figure out how the boyfriend died. They say it was vehicular manslaughter or whatever, but it's like his wounds are incredibly inconsistent with somebody who got hit by a car.
Starting point is 00:08:19 So it's like they don't even know how he died. They're just charging her because they feel like it. Everybody involved is like a cop or an FBI agent, so they're all covering it up. They've all sold their houses houses destroyed their cell phones, whatever They go through this terrible trial in the documentary ten weeks and it's a mistrial. So she's on trial again right now Like seriously who has the time? It's like so involved We went through the whole thing just for that Jerry to be hung. So it's like obviously the jury means like we're done here. Yeah
Starting point is 00:08:42 Hung jury means like we can't come to a decision and it's a mistrial. No, no, I think they're two separate things. Okay, so it was mistrial, sorry. One of them means, well, that's that. Okay, no, mistrial, mistrial. And so if the state wants to pursue you again, they can and of course they did. But it's like, obviously the jury heard something
Starting point is 00:08:59 because I watched the whole trial, I'm like, oh, this bitch is innocent. And even, sorry, maybe she's not innocent. You can't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she killed this man. So you have to let her go. Obviously, the jury heard something I didn't hear because they were like all hung up. Like they spent five days. I couldn't figure it out. So what am I missing? What do you mean? Like it sounds like they feel like you know, but they couldn't come to a decision like they were really split down the middle. So like half the people believed
Starting point is 00:09:20 what the state was saying. Well, I think it's just powerful. Or maybe the documentary was a little biased. Oh, maybe that too. But I think like most people come in when someone's like being prosecuted by the state and they like think that they did that. You have to prove them to be innocent, which is harder. Yeah, if I'm on a jury and they're like,
Starting point is 00:09:38 this guy's accused of murder. I'm like, okay, well prove to me that he didn't. Right, right, he did it until you can show me that he didn't. So I think it's like turn, you have 12 yeses at the start and then to even get half to change is actually big. The thing about Karen is like, the reason I was having a hard time in the beginning of the documentary,
Starting point is 00:09:53 like believing her is like, she's kind of like nuts. Like she, it's a drunk night. Not a crime. Oh, by the way, Jackie, like- Not a crime to be nuts. I never wanna drink again after watching this documentary. All these, they're like grown ass people, half of them are cops, they get blackout
Starting point is 00:10:07 and they're like driving around small town bus. And I'm like, you guys are just admitting to drinking and driving. I know that's like not the issue here, but I'm like, okay, I guess we're all just drinking and driving and nobody can remember anything. Karen doesn't even remember. So at first, the first couple of days,
Starting point is 00:10:17 she thought she might have accidentally hit him and he fell over, knocked his head and died in the snow. But the evidence doesn't really support that. It's really reminding me of one lone juror. What was that? One lone juror? One lone juror. Yes.
Starting point is 00:10:31 12th man award, what's it called? Clint Eastwood, we just watched it. But you know what, it's on my content list, hold on. One man juror. No, 12th, 12th only men. 12th night. 12th angry men. 12th angry men is the classic.
Starting point is 00:10:45 This is the jury of juries. What the heck is it? What's the actor's name? I can't even remember. Wait, Clint Eastwood jury man. Clint Eastwood jury movie. Juror number two. Juror number two.
Starting point is 00:11:01 Juror number two. Yes. So they can't even remember. Yeah. By the way, I never want to drink again. Like if these people just had like three less drinks, we would know what went down. And so Karen, but she refuses to be made ashamed. Like she has this crazy night.
Starting point is 00:11:12 She's screaming at her boyfriend, she calls him 55 times, leaves him the craziest voicemails because he's taking too long to come back out of the house. But she refuses to be made embarrassed. And she like literally woke up, she's like, I'm not fucking guilty. She like bought, I didn't have some questions about her finances.
Starting point is 00:11:24 She flew in Kevin Spacey's lawyer and she's definitely like a well-off woman. Like she worked in like, she had like a good job in like finance or whatever, but like Kevin Spacey's lawyer. Now he's like famous and he said that he's not charging her because like it's like this huge case. But like, I did wonder how she like, maybe it's like good for his image considering lost the last one, even though he didn't lose. He won Kevin Spacey. That's why she reached out to him. They let him off. Yeah. No. And they were comparing what they did in Karen Reed's trial to Kevin Spacey, which was like forensic accounting or whatever. Whatever. All that to say is like, Karen Reed is
Starting point is 00:11:50 not taking this lying down, but she was like, she didn't cry once in the documentary, which I found really crazy. I guess it has been two years since her boyfriend died and was her boyfriend of two years. And like, while that is sad, I guess she's more mad that like she's being framed. Yeah. But she's, and she doesn't care to act. She's like, I know how they want me to act in the courtroom. Like I'm pissed, like I'm pissed. I was just like, why aren't you crying? You know? But I'm new here, I'm new here.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Okay. Well. I'm new. Happy that you're a part of that. Yeah, you know, I heard everyone talking about it. I'm like, oh. I've seen everyone talking about it. I want to be a part of something, especially like, you know, on my last big week.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Yeah. I got to go out with a bang. Everyone's talking about Karen Reed. I am. Here I am. Turdi Reed. Turdi Reed. Turdi Lou Murdaugh Reed. Turdi Lou Murdaugh. And so by the way, the mistrial, the second one is actively going on now. It's like day eight. So it's like in the news. That's what you're hearing about. It's in the news every day.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Got it. Got it. I don't think she did that shit, but I don't really know who did. Well that's not your job to find out. No thank God. Cause I wouldn't be able to figure it out. Cause like then who killed Nicole Brown Simpson, yeah? Yeah, because allegedly according to OJ, he's still out there. It was an OJ, so, and he got off. And that's why he doesn't like to go to LA.
Starting point is 00:12:53 He doesn't, he said he doesn't want to run into the guy who accidentally did it. That's what's so crazy. Who killed Kaylee Anthony if it wasn't Casey, you know? Right, I mean, it was Facy. It was totally Casey, right? But it's like if they didn't have to figure out who killed Nicole Brown,
Starting point is 00:13:08 you know that's not my problem. Have to figure out who killed John. I would also listen to like how did John die like they still can't even figure it out. He like dog bites on his arm. It was so twisted like whatever. So don't drink. Also, I feel like that is the takeaway. Don't drink and
Starting point is 00:13:21 also all these cops drink and drive. OK, like don't ever pull me over for drinking and driving. Yeah. Look in the mirror. Yeah. So that was a journey I went on last night. Okay, well that's a fun one. We had such a fun day yesterday, we were in the burbs.
Starting point is 00:13:35 Oh, happy Mother's Day to everyone. For Mother's Day, oh my gosh. It's kind of like a limbo day for me, you know? Oh yeah, you're- I wasn't being celebrated per se. No, but you weren't joining in on the festivities. Yeah, it was just, it was a little like, you know, like- You weren't irrelevant to the day.
Starting point is 00:13:49 I feel like I was edging a little bit. I wasn't irrelevant to the day, but I wasn't like one of the core members of the day. No, but you were really like on both sides of the fence. Yeah. It was probably nice. I did, I know we had that conversation about Father's Day and how like we're going to ignore Father's Day, and I actually felt after yesterday, like even more compelled. Yes, I will be ignoring Father's Day 2025. It's just not right.
Starting point is 00:14:08 I just know. First of all, I endorse that decision. I know. But I just know you're not going to do that. And I just know you're such a softie. I need to remember how I'm feeling right now. And you're going to be like, Ben has been so amazing. Like, of course it's Father's Day. Like you're just gonna. I'm like, I'm gonna get him a watch. Like, he's so soft. I know. But I need to remember this feeling. Like I just felt like a little passed over, you know? Yeah. I need to remember that feeling
Starting point is 00:14:32 and apply that to bed on Father's Day. Make sure she feels passed over. Correct. I understand. Well, I've just done something so foolish, which was that we just survived allergy season in Florida, like turn spring, like two months ago or whatever, sneezing my way through it.
Starting point is 00:14:45 Arrived here for allergy season, literally sneezing all day. The bottom half of my face had no makeup on it by the end of the day. I'm like trying to like not blow my nose cause like I don't wanna take all my makeup off. So I'm experiencing allergy season twice. And both times I'm not taking Zyrtec, but I know I might. Oh, can you take Zyrtec pregnant?
Starting point is 00:15:04 Dr. Fox said I could, but like, just less is better. Yeah. But if I get to a place of real misery, I would. I, but the thing is by the end, usually I would take a Zyrtec at the end of the day so that it can work itself overnight. But by the end of the day, when I'm inside and I've showered,
Starting point is 00:15:18 I'm feeling much better. It's not until then I emerge, like literally the minute I stepped outside this morning, sneeze. This is a time of year where I feel so grateful. Like I don't have this problem. It's so miserable. No, and it affects, like people like stay home
Starting point is 00:15:30 from work because of it. Like I don't have this problem. I could walk out into like the most pollinated shit and I'm like, oh yeah, give me that shit. It smells so good. I could snort pollen and be like, fuck yeah. I don't have this problem and Ben does and you do. And I see how it affects you.
Starting point is 00:15:41 But honestly, like I'm not grateful enough like to the Lord for not giving me this fucking problem. No, and I feel like pollen, people talk about climate change, what about pollen change? I feel like- You think the pollen's changing? Levels through the roof, every year it's like worse and worse.
Starting point is 00:15:55 You can literally see it, like you'll be driving and it's like, there's just white powder. I'm assuming it's pollen. I think it's beautiful, but I can see how somebody who has allergies would find it to be a nuisance. Yeah, no, I think pollen counts are higher than ever. Damn.
Starting point is 00:16:11 From my experience. So if you're struggling out there, just know I did it twice without a Zyrtec. Some of us are just suffering. Yeah, no, and some people are enjoying the beautiful weather, spring. So true, I can't tell, I'm like, should we go for a walk? Spring's in the air.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Should we go to the park? I can walk indoors. On a treadmill? I can go to an indoor park. Like the outdoors are just a misery. But of course, I literally, we were outside all day yesterday. How gorgeous is it in New York? It was so gorgeous, like, and the boys just like,
Starting point is 00:16:38 we're running, like, we had so much fun. So like, we're staying outside. My mom's gonna be sneezing and peeing the whole time. Sneezing and peeing, yeah. Sneezing and peeing, don't forget that. I didn't think about that. I didn't think about that, how frequently gonna be sneezing and peeing the whole time. Sneezing and peeing. Sneezing and peeing, don't forget about that. I didn't think about that, how frequently you're sneezing because I peed my pants yesterday. Thank God we had just gotten home
Starting point is 00:16:52 and thank God I was wearing a dress because it didn't even touch my dress. I just like peed down my leg. It was a big sneeze. It was probably the first time I sneezed all day because I don't have allergies. I didn't even think about the pregnant girlies who have allergies.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Who are just sneezing, sneezing. It's like, I can't empty my bladder fast enough. You're wearing a diaper? Pad season. Pad season, but is it enough? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's just a little, it's not like what you experienced. I'm not peeing my pants every time I sneeze.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Just a little tinkle. No, I actually like peed, I didn't pee my pants. I wasn't wearing pants, so. But to sneeze in the third trimester on a full bladder, like you're asking for trouble. Yeah, no, and I was like being a martyr because I got home and like I wanted to put all my stuff away. I really had to pee, but I do this thing where I'm like,
Starting point is 00:17:29 let me get like all my stuff, like put away, my bag put away, put my pajamas on before I go to the bathroom and pee. It's like I have to earn the pee, I don't know why. And so I'm standing in Ben's closet, like I was cleaning up after him, putting his shirt away and I literally peed on the floor. Yeah, you can't, you have to empty your bladder. Yeah. And it's like, it goes away after pregnancy. Like I don't, when I'm not pregnant, you can't, you have to empty your bladder. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:45 And it's like, it goes away after pregnancy. Like I don't, when I'm not pregnant, I don't sneeze. And pee. And pee. But it's definitely inconvenient, allergy season twice pregnant. 1000%. On the 30th.
Starting point is 00:17:56 You know who actually suffers from allergies? Romeo. Oh, Romeo, Romeo. He's on a well, he's on, he actually does really suffer from allergies. So it affects his daily walks. But he is on like a wellness regimen. As you guys know, he is a brand ambassador for WagWell.
Starting point is 00:18:08 They have allergy and itch chews, chicken flavor. He loves them. I need an allergy and itch chew. Would you eat a chicken flavored one? No. Okay, okay. We don't have lunch after this by the way, I meant to ask you, are you free?
Starting point is 00:18:19 Of course, I'm hungry. I'm already hungry, yeah. Yeah, let's discuss options. I mean, there's really only one. I also need a pedicure. Like I've gotten to the'm already hungry, yeah. Yeah, let's discuss options. I mean, there's really only one. I also need a pedicure. I've gotten to the point where my toes hurt. Oh, I thought you were gonna say, I've gotten to the point where your toes hurt
Starting point is 00:18:32 when you wear socks. No, they were hurting when I was wearing my flats yesterday because they're pinched because they're just way too long. And that's when I know it's been six months. Time for a pedicure. It's your body letting you know. Yeah, so they're really bad. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:18:46 But maybe we can like get lunch and peddies. I don't know if I have time for that. I have like- And you have to be careful with pedicures now, you know? Why? Because there's apparently like a tendon in your ankle that's like an old wives tail. If you like push it, it will cause you to go into labor.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Okay, well it's called pressure points. Yes, and that's where my acupuncture was. Pressure point for a breech baby is on your pinky toe. There's a lot of like uterine, not uterine, uteral pressure points, yes, and that's where my acupuncture was. Pressure point for a breech baby is on your pinky toe. There's a lot of like uterine, not uterine, uteral pressure points. This is a women's health podcast now. By your feet, by the way. Wait, okay, two things.
Starting point is 00:19:13 One, I can't do pedicure and lunch because I have a major like project, I'm doing a bunch of home projects this week. Okay. And one of them is today. I'm having my carpets, couches, everything like professionally steamed and cleaned, so I can't.
Starting point is 00:19:23 But two, I can't believe we've been sitting here for this long and we're literally the worst business women ever. We not so much launched today. Yeah, we're launching merch on Wednesday. Super cute spring collection. The t-shirts that everybody loves that we made like a like a year ago. We came out. I know we dropped like one every collection for the last year. This time we said, hold my small t-shirts. We're dropping three oversized t-shirts. They're so cute. We've got gargi parji. We've got gargipargy. We've got the toasty with the, what would you say? Like the vignette on the back?
Starting point is 00:19:48 Montage? Map of toastyness. And then- Girlie. Girlie, you were wearing it the other day. I wear it, I've worn it for like six months. I didn't even care. By the way, if you're pregnant,
Starting point is 00:19:57 postpartum those shirts will save your life. We're launching three of them. We've got new crewnecks, we've got new sweatshirts. We have phone cases for the first time in a while. We've got hats. So it's all over on our Instagram. It's Wednesday, 10 a.m. Eastern time at shoptoesmerch.com. That'll be exciting. Yeah, and it's still the same old, well, the same new format of there is stock. You will get it. It will ship immediately. And then if things sell out, we'll put them up for pre-order. Sorry about that. We forgot to like literally do our business. We were just having so much
Starting point is 00:20:24 fun being pregnant podcasting in person. But that to like literally do our business. We were just having so much fun being pregnant podcasting in person. But that's also part of our business. So I just feel like we've been in business all day. What kind of business y'all in? Pregnant podcasting. Literally, we finally have an answer for what kind of business we're in.
Starting point is 00:20:37 Pregnant podcasting in person. In person. Yeah, very exciting. But what were we just talking about? Oh, lunch, pedicures. Oh yeah, pedicures. Oh, so you can't get a pedicure. Oh, so you have to be careful.
Starting point is 00:20:49 Well, I was planning on getting one more. I haven't gotten a lot of pedicures in this pregnancy because like, who am I trying to impress? And I was planning on getting one more, like maybe once my maternity leave starts and like I have nothing to do except wait around for the baby to come, that I would get my final pedicure then.
Starting point is 00:21:03 Got it. I can't wait another day, unfortunately. Okay, so we're on different pedicure schedules. It's an emergency pedicure. It's a final pedicure then. Got it. I can't wait another day, unfortunately. Okay, so we're on different pedicure schedules. It's an emergency pedicure. It's a rescue pedicure. It's a national emergency. Is that from our video? It's from our spritz commercial.
Starting point is 00:21:15 I love to quote myself. Of course. Claudia, that's beautiful. Yeah? Yeah! Claudia, that's beautiful, yeah? How are the stories? I know we are here to talk about ourselves,
Starting point is 00:21:25 but we are also here to talk about others. The stories are fine. Nothing major happened over the weekend, but little bits and bobs. Taylor was spotted. That was pretty big. Yeah, that's a story. I have a lot of thoughts.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Oh, wow. Like, we are, because I just saw it, like when I was looking for stories this morning that she's literally at the Smith and Philly type restaurant. And then she has to do those things now because she's in an ordinary family. So that's funny. My thought was like, I honestly can't believe
Starting point is 00:21:48 she spent Mother's Day with Donna Kelsey. I know her mother was there too, but it felt really crazy. Oh was she? Yes. That's crazy that her mother was there and that they went to a restaurant. Yeah, we'll talk about it. Okay, we'll talk about it.
Starting point is 00:21:57 And now without further ado, here are the Fast Five stories that you need to know. And the Fast Five stories that you need to know are brought to you by Ro. They start at $30. They have Luxe swimwear, Italian platform sandals and so much more. But of course the best part of Quince,
Starting point is 00:24:13 why everybody loves it, oh, I met a toaster in the wild over the weekend and she was wearing a Quince sweater. And I said, is that Quince? I can't even begin to imagine all the money we've spent on skincare beauty products over
Starting point is 00:25:04 the years. If you're battling issues like acne, damaged hair, eczema, change in hair color, rashes, but you might come to the realization, just like Jackie and I have, that you're overlooking the most fundamental step in your beauty and care routine, and it's the water that you shower in. Now, you're going to say, what can I do about the water? There's actually something you can do. Enter Jolie. They're a beauty wellness company that purifies the water that you shower in for better skin and overall wellbeing. So their filtered shower head is best in class for removing chlorine and heavy metals.
Starting point is 00:25:29 It's the only lab tested and clinically trialed filtering shower head on the market. It has been clinically proven to reduce hair shedding in 81% of people. It was lab tested to reduce hair frizziness by 40%, lab tested to maintain color retention, and lab tested to protect the hair's surface layer. So this is like so fundamental and so basic.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And it's like not shocking that the water that you might be showering in is like full of crap. And I saw people raving about Jolie on TikTok. And honestly, it was a little bit of like a doubter non-believer. We got one and Ben was so worried about his water pressure. He's like, we're not changing it. I like the water pressure, the water pressure.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Let me tell you, it was completely fine. And it's so much nicer looking than our other one. And it makes such a big difference in like how just your hair like gets knotty or like when you brush it, it's actually amazing. Chlorine is added to your water systems to infect and kill bacteria. That can be really damaging for your hair and skin.
Starting point is 00:26:14 So Jolie's shower heads are here to help. They are beautiful, sleek designed. They have the perfect combination of form and function and they will give you your best skin and hair guaranteed. Starting point is 00:26:43 Turtee Skin Co. I wouldn't want to compete. Why compete? Because you can't. Yeah, like some things are a perfect product. Our first story, the aforementioned Mother's Day of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey, they resurfaced in Philadelphia for Mother's Day outing
Starting point is 00:26:59 with his family at Tallulah's Garden Restaurant in Philadelphia. So Travis, Taylor, Jason, Kylie, Donna, Andrea. I saw something that said Andrea was there. I don't see Andrea here but you are the asari. The pictures are crap. No, no, I see Taylor. Okay, but we see Taylor and Travis. He's got like a new hairstyle. I think we see the back of Kylie. Is that who that is? She looks like a mother breastfeeding or something. I only see this and this. Oh, hairstyle. I think we see the back of Kylie. Is that who that is? She looks like a mother breastfeeding or something.
Starting point is 00:27:25 I only see this and this. Oh, okay. I saw one other picture. I do believe what I read was that Donna was there. And of course, by the way, excuse me. Yeah, Andrea, Taylor would never like forsake her own mother on Mother's Day. No matter how much she wants to land the guy. It's so true.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Like no one's more important to Taylor than her mom. I just think this was kind of crazy. Like as you get into a relationship and then become a mother yourself, like Mother's Day like becomes more complicated, right? It's like, well, are we celebrating me being a mom or my mom? Like it's, and so Taylor's not even there yet
Starting point is 00:27:55 and they're already like compromising, you know, I guess we'll all have Mother's Day together. And that's nice. I was just shocked that it wasn't like- And then where, if by that logic, where's Kylie's mom? Correct. Maybe she was there too, we just wouldn't recognize her. By that logic, if Kylie has other siblings,
Starting point is 00:28:11 they should be there too. Because the mom is with them. With their spouses or partner's moms. Right, where was Austin Swift? I don't know. What's crazier about this to me is that they went to a restaurant. I just feel like when Taylor's in the family,
Starting point is 00:28:23 like we can't just go to Tallulah's anymore. Not only that, Mother's Day, like obviously going to a restaurant. I just feel like when Taylor's in the family, like we can't just go to Tallulah's anymore. Not only that, Mother's Day, like obviously going to a restaurant is totally fine, but like it's really the day where you have like a barbecue at like a house. No, it would be perfectly appropriate to stay home. Stay in. And I think most people opt to like cook big extravagant,
Starting point is 00:28:36 have everyone out over at the house because it's May and it's beautiful. We sit on the back patio. Yeah, it's like a, I think the less popular thing is to go out. Am I right? I think it's equal, but I'm just saying because of Taylor, you can't just go to a restaurant.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Yeah, and just- But I'm sure she doesn't want them to change their family ways for her. She just wants to blend right in. And I guess because they're in Philly, the logical place- Maybe Kylie didn't want to host. Right, the logical place to have the brunch
Starting point is 00:29:03 would be at Jason and Kylie's, but she's obviously busy, you know, in her postpartum era. Donna could have hosted. Yeah, I don't know. It's definitely, it's a choice, but maybe that's just what they do. I just find that seeing them in this setting is really shocking.
Starting point is 00:29:15 I've never been to Tallulah's, but to me it's the Elk of the Smith. Yeah, no, and also something about like her outfit was so regular. Have you been to Tallulah's? No, why the fuck would I have been to Tallulah's? You've traveled the country. I have, but no, I Have you been to Tallulah's? No. Why the fuck would I have been to Tallulah's? You've traveled the country. I have, but no, I haven't eaten at Tallulah's.
Starting point is 00:29:29 I do find the whole thing very regular of them. And her outfit was like also really regular. And she didn't look like a movie star pop star glam Azan. She just looked like a girl. Yeah, going out to brunch. Which I guess is good, you know, to keep a low prof. But she didn't. No, she didn't.
Starting point is 00:29:43 She didn't. Even though I think people pretty much left them alone. Yeah, I'm sure they had plenty security. Yeah. I don't know. I also think Philly's like one of those towns. Are you saying there's not a restaurant big enough? Maybe in Las Vegas, they make restaurants big enough
Starting point is 00:29:55 to accommodate Taylor and Travis. Yeah. They're just big. Energies. Energies, they're big physically. Like they're just, they have big teams. They've got a lot going on. So I can't be like, just like squeezing between tables. Hey, sorry, pardon me.
Starting point is 00:30:09 No, they can't with like little chairs. Travis needs a big chair. I do want to thank you. I know at one point in time, this was your water bottle, but it's mine now. Cool. Cool. Thanks. It's really delicious. I've really been loving water. It does hit different when you're pregnant. It's so good. It's really necessary to the whole experience. It is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:28 And I thought I would like have to drink water begrudgingly like knowing I would need to up my, but the way I crave it. Yeah, baby loves water. Yes, so does mama. Mama loves water. Yeah, it's also good postpartum. I think you'll still enjoy. Yeah, loving my hydro drug.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Like I'm loving the whole experience. Yeah. I've started like bringing my hydro drug places with me. Like I take it in the car, I take it bring it to the studio some days like, and not today, obviously, that's why I co- the whole experience. I've started like bringing my hydro drug places with me. Like I take it in the car, I take it to the studio some days, like and not today, obviously that's why I co-opted yours, but it's nice like loving water. Yeah, it's cool.
Starting point is 00:30:52 And it's like a later in pregnancy thing because in the beginning I was still avoiding it, like trying to do crystal light to like, and then I found out crystal light has aspartame. Like it's really, it's so good. Highly recommend, check it out. Do you have a code? Yeah, it's turdy.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Well, I like to put a little Flav City electrolytes in my water and I do have a code and it's Shaki. Congratulations. And it doesn't have aspartame. Yeah, like I'm really looking forward to like going back to not giving a fuck about aspartame. Like I've obviously given up on soda a little bit. Like at some point to remember the women who do crack
Starting point is 00:31:22 when they're pregnant. And I'm honestly grateful to them. Even if I'm on soda in the sense of worrying about it or drinking it. Yeah, worrying about it. Like in the very beginning, I was really good. And then I let myself do like once a week. And then it was once every couple of days.
Starting point is 00:31:33 And now it's one a day. Like when we go to lunch, I'm having a soda. Yeah, that's how I feel. Like when I'm out and it calls for a soda, like I'm having a soda. And I think we all like as women need to thank the women who do crack when they're pregnant because that's like the litmus test.
Starting point is 00:31:46 Yeah, it's like, oh my God, should I take this title? And I'm like, please, there are women doing crack when they're pregnant. Claudia, don't take the title. I don't know what we would do without the women who do crack. Yeah, yeah. They're kind of like necessary to the maternal ecosystem.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Yeah. And obviously I'm not endorsing you do crack when you're pregnant, I'm just saying the fact that there are a few people who do, thanks. It makes me feel better. I'm happy for you. I'm not like sleeping on my back, which sorry, like I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:32:16 Like I'm doing it. I couldn't stop if I tried. I just like wake up on my back. So if something was really wrong, the baby would wake me up. If you just wake up on your back, that's fine. Okay. Are you ready for our next story? aforementioned, Molly Mae reveals she and Tommy
Starting point is 00:32:28 are back together nine months after their breakup. So the next three episodes of Molly Mae Behind It all premiered on Amazon. The first came out in January. Now there's three more, and it's chronicling the time from like New Year's to now. Okay. Where they've gotten back together,
Starting point is 00:32:42 which everyone suspected, and we now know why they did break up. So we knew that they were working on things. They responded together New Year's Eve. We more so know that they, we don't really know like a hundred percent why they broke up, but we know that it wasn't infidelity, which is like- It was his drinking and his like-
Starting point is 00:32:56 Like his issues. And his like the dark passenger, like- Yeah, dark passenger. Two different people, when he's good Tommy, like they're in the best relationship. When he's bad Tommy, it's a misery and bad Tommy was becoming more and more present in their lives.
Starting point is 00:33:09 So she had to cut him off until he got sober. That's something you can come back from. Like the infidelity, some people can't work through. So, I don't think anybody's judging her. You're only the worst partner ever when you were drinking. That means if you don't drink, we can have a happy relationship. So I think that's where they're at right now.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Yeah. But, and we've seen like bits and bobs as they would say of Molly posting about Tommy. Obviously she posted happy birthday from Bambi's POV, but she has yet to like post anything romantic of the two of them or say we're back together until it's in the show. She says that they are back together.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Can I answer you a question as like a hardcore Stan? Do you feel like a little bit of the magic has gone? Yeah, for sure. But I feel like it also makes me appreciate them more as a couple, like they're just more real. Like not that you have to be like, we have to know like your dirty underwear in order for like us to feel like we can relate to you.
Starting point is 00:33:59 But like now I do feel like it's not just like Molly and Tommy and who are they and what are they about? And it's just like a magical little like, they're just like real people, they're going through real things. And I do think sometimes when you go through something like this, it does make you stronger. So I think they've been tested.
Starting point is 00:34:14 And I think if they can stick together through this, like they'll be incredibly strong. Cause everything was so great for them coming up on the island. Everybody loves them even though they didn't win. It's easy to be in love when everybody loves you. It's so great. Everyone didn't even love them. They didn't even win their season.
Starting point is 00:34:26 No, but like in culture, like when everybody loves your relationship, I feel like we talked about that a lot with like Paige and Craig, like when everybody loves you, like makes it so fun. Like, yeah, let's be together. It's a great endorsement of your relationship. And I feel like even if you're feeling like having a moment of doubt, it's like, well, everybody loves us. Like everyone can't be wrong.
Starting point is 00:34:42 It keeps the train on the tracks a little bit longer than it might have. I think so. But it also does add Yeah, I think so. But it also does add like a lot of pressure. So when you do break up, like you're kind of hesitant to like see the red flags. So I'm happy they're back together and I'm not like saying anything.
Starting point is 00:34:52 I'm just like, I don't know. It doesn't hit as hard. It's like a little bit. Yeah, and it's great that they're so real, but like who wants real? It's definitely been like knocked down a peg, but. Knocked to reality a little bit. Yeah, but I think that's like good, especially their business is relatability.
Starting point is 00:35:08 She's an influencer. She said, I feel like, yeah, it's like you feel closer to them as a couple, not just like, oh, they're shiny on a pedestal and they're perfect. They're not. Yeah. I don't like die for them in the way that you do. That's just because you haven't watched a season yet. No, but I'm also like, just as a spectator,
Starting point is 00:35:29 I'm like, okay, they back together. That's great, like that's great. But it's not like, you know. And I feel like it's been nine months since they broke up. I feel like that's a good length of time for someone to get sober. Work through. Like, let's get serious work and we're not jumping back into things.
Starting point is 00:35:40 I think Molly's being really prudent about everything. And I just hope that Tommy can stay on the path I mean it would benefit him in all aspects of his life as an athlete like it's not helpful for you to drink as a father As a partner, you know, it's good. Just lay off the sauce. Trust me. Watch the Karen Reed documentary. You won't want to drink ever again Yeah Yeah, apparently he just like won another fight too. Yeah, so did Jake Paul I saw with who it was like You know one of like, we're not in the fighting scene.
Starting point is 00:36:06 So like it meant nothing to us. I think we're in the fighting scene. We're in like the mainstream fighting scene. And although the celebrities go to big fights, it wasn't one of those. What other fights does he do? He has to do like, you know, fights to stay with like fighters. In the league?
Starting point is 00:36:19 Like, yeah, in the league, yeah. Okay, in the league. Our next story. Okay. Bravo's flagship show. Roni is going off the air The network hopes to revive it but Real Housewives of New York City is going off the air page 6 has learned with no firm plans For its return the show which we know premiered in 2008 has consistently been one of the most beloved prestigious and buzzed about in the in Bravo's schedule and Now it is no more, but it doesn't seem as if there's any great expectation
Starting point is 00:36:48 that it'll be back anytime soon. And Insider said, we're trying to figure it out. We want to figure it out. We think there's still life in it. They warned that other shows have sat on ice for years before it being revived, like Real Houses of Miami. That's a good, you know, hopeful thing. But I just feel really strongly, oddly enough,
Starting point is 00:37:05 that it's much harder to make a successful reality show in New York than in other cities. Like, when you think about the Bravo shows that are set in New York City, like right now they have that new one, Next Gen. Looks horrible, like let's be real, like truly horrible. Has anyone watched it? Did it premiere yet?
Starting point is 00:37:18 I feel like it's coming out in June. I don't think it has premiered yet, but I just don't think it's gonna be like what it claims to. I just don't think it's gonna be like what it claims to. I just don't think it's gonna be what it should or could be just because the cast isn't like giving. It's not giving and that's the thing with New York. It's like when it comes to like who you can cast,
Starting point is 00:37:33 you're kind of left with two parties of people. Like people who are extremely wealthy and successful and rich and they don't wanna be on reality TV. And then New York is just full of people who wanna be on reality TV, who have aspirations of being extremely wealthy. And that's like, it gives way on reality TV, who have aspirations of being extremely wealthy. And that's like, it gives way to like thirsty, desperate and just like uninteresting people.
Starting point is 00:37:49 So I think it makes casting really, really hard for like a Bravo franchise. And they haven't done a good job up until this point. Even the women that they found for original Roni, like they turned out to be amazing, but like they were just regular women, you know. I don't think it has to do with New York cause they are able to do it in LA
Starting point is 00:38:05 where it's the same sort of people, people like super wealthy like in Hollywood. Yeah, but there are a lot of wealthy famous people who want to be on reality TV in LA. But there are a lot that don't. Yeah, but I don't think there are people like that in New York, honestly. I think that there are.
Starting point is 00:38:17 It's more like old money like Hush Hush 2020. No, but I think there's like new like younger people with there's a lot of money and there are a lot of people who want to be on TV. So would you say like the people that they cast Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush,
Starting point is 00:38:29 Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush, H New York City people who are already established. If you wanted to go into a friend group and have a bunch of unknowns, you could find that. That's people's jobs to find that. But I think that Bravo casting is not what it was because I think they're looking for different things now than they were in 2008 when they're like, we just want to make a great show. So what are they looking for now?
Starting point is 00:39:02 For a housewife? That's different than a housewife. Like that's different than like a Ramona. Cause like, what was it about Ramona? You know? Yeah. They were just women. They were just moms. No, but they were also all personality. I don't think they're going by personality these days.
Starting point is 00:39:18 And when they do pick someone for personality, it's like a crazy person who would say or do anything. Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that like at one point all the women on the show were cast as, all the women who were cast were both wives and mothers, because it was the Real Housewives. And then it just became a show of like socialites.
Starting point is 00:39:35 Like being married wasn't a prerequisite. Because a lot of the people on the new show are wives and mothers. And like, I don't feel like them, not that I watch, but like them sharing their motherhood is like, not really the thing we're watching for. But I do think having a partner like just makes things interesting.
Starting point is 00:39:50 I was having like a couple of single people, but I do think going into a friend group where people are already know each other and are friends. Like I do think the most recent Rooney was just like far flung people. Let's put them all together. They were not connected. I think they were filming for a while
Starting point is 00:40:02 before they even started filming for the show because they needed to meet each other. You know, the Roni reboot was like overall like an enormous failure. But Roni was in a place that like other franchises found themselves in. OC kind of got itself out of it weirdly by like leaning into the past, but also the future.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Jury's still out on New Jersey, like what's gonna happen there. Atlanta has really revived itself. They're having one of their best seasons yet. So like it can be done. I just would love to know like, what do we blame this on? You know, like I'm trying to,
Starting point is 00:40:37 like it's New York. Yeah. Like it should be the easiest. It should be the easiest. And even to cast the new generation, like I'm sorry, like pinning it all on Jenna Lyons for like a name recognition and she was literally hands down the worst housewife. I was just gonna say Jenna Lyons was probably like the thing that they were most excited like the biggest. And Jackie she was the worst housewife. And I feel like even when it was
Starting point is 00:40:55 announced it was like this just doesn't feel like it's gonna be amazing like she's not the Elk of housewives she's so serious. Yeah. And like and then if it turned out she was like silly and reality cheap like that would have been interesting but she's not she's just like a serious, boring person. Right, no, and she went on the show to like promote her. That's the other thing, like people are so strategic now, especially someone like Jenna Lyons, who has a lot to lose, she's not gonna be acting crazy.
Starting point is 00:41:14 So she's here promoting like her false lashes, like whatever, like that's so boring to me. Like if you, I'm sorry, if you have a small business, like you should not be allowed on Real Housewives, like it's boring. No, I agree. And if you have like social media, if you're like some sort of influencer,
Starting point is 00:41:28 actually don't think you should be on the show, again, you have a lot to lose or to gain. And I just, I feel like you know how to like position yourself. They just need people with like wacky personalities that are so themselves that they can't pretend to be someone else when they come on TV. Like everyone else is just like pretty sound of mine.
Starting point is 00:41:44 They're like, I know what people want to hear. I don't want to step in it. But also not like wacky people who are just going to lie. Like what they did to this franchise, honestly it's disgraceful. Like the fact that Roni is dead, it's the first franchise to die. I know, but I feel like from the moment
Starting point is 00:41:58 they were going down these paths, like this has been so clear. Like nothing about this has been surprising. No, and everybody like lying to themselves, like, Rody knew is actually good. Like every casting, every season that came out, it's like, this is not happening. This is not happening.
Starting point is 00:42:12 And it's actually, what's so shocking is that they've admitted it. Yeah, I'm just looking to place blame. Like this should never have happened. Should never have happened. And I don't think it's fair to say that New York can't do. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. I'm just pointing out that I do believe it's harder to say that New York can't do. If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. I'm just pointing out that I do believe it's harder
Starting point is 00:42:26 to cast in New York than in other cities. If you're looking for wealthy people. I just want to say, like according to what we've seen, that's proving your theory. However- It shouldn't be that way. And I don't think it has to be that way. I think they're missing something.
Starting point is 00:42:42 They're missing something is what I think. It's, it never should have happened. Yeah, so we'll see what's next. Yes, we will. Are you ready for our next story? What number? Number four. No, oh my God. No, I don't feel ready either.
Starting point is 00:42:56 Is it the- That just felt so quick. Fourth story that's brought to you by O-Pill? It is. Starting point is 00:44:19 also brought to you by Taylor Farms so So obviously eating salads is an important thing, you know, for your health, but also for your image, right? Like when I know I'm about to be seen out, if I'm going to like a really trendy restaurant, I do order a salad because I know what it makes people think. You know, they say, oh, she's eating a salad. Maybe we should cast her in the real house as a New York, you know?
Starting point is 00:44:39 And Taylor Farms gets like, they understand the image that comes along with eating a salad. And that's why they make them pargy. And their top salad kits are taking the world by storm, specifically the toasty universe. It's so easy to get your salad together. They come in so many different flavors, like sweet kale, Caesar, avocado ranch,
Starting point is 00:44:56 Mediterranean croonch. I happen to like score an interview with the brand ambassador to the stars from Taylor Farms. Tell me about your favorite salad. Ooh, my favorite salad, probably the Mediterranean croonch. That's probably my all time favorite, but I do love a Caesar. I could dress it up.
Starting point is 00:45:11 I could dress it down. I love to get my salad tailored to the kind of cuisine I'm having with my meals. So if we're having taco night, we'll get the Mexican street corn salad. If we're having an Italian night, we'll do the Caesar. We can add more to it. We could take away.
Starting point is 00:45:26 It's just the- And protein. And a protein, of course, but you know me, no protein. It's just the best. Like it's seriously the best. I'm not, you know, spending so much time chopping lettuce, washing lettuce. Right, everything's pre-chopped.
Starting point is 00:45:39 It's sliced. It's easy. It's pre-washed. It's literally, you can actually eat it out of the bag, and a lot of people do. So like next time you're wanting people to think highly of you, grab a Taylor Farms chopped salad kit and get your salad together. Today's episode is also brought to you by ResortPass. Starting point is 00:46:37 And when we want Parji beach access, but we want a little cabana. We want a little meal side, table side dining. And in the past you had to like book rooms at the place. Yeah. It's expensive and unnecessary. We'll try and like book the cheapest room, but past you had to like book rooms at the place. Yeah. It's expensive and unnecessary. We'll try and like book the cheapest room but it's still not as cheap as a resort pass.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Right. And you can get a cabana, you can get all the works, you can get a little spa treatment, you can get access to a golf course, whatever you're looking to do, I don't judge. No. I don't judge. I judge a little bit if you're looking

You're welcome, turd. Our next story, a little family news. Family news? Billy Ray Cyrus says he and his family
Starting point is 00:47:46 are close to full healing. And Miley is speaking out as well. So Miley posted to Instagram. I guess there was- Billy posted first. Billy posted first like a photo with Miley. And people were like, oh, this is old or Photoshopped. Miley Miley.
Starting point is 00:48:00 You mean that devil skank Miley. And we were like, whoa. Right, is this a throwback? Is this a call for help? Is this current? It was confusing. And then rumors were a swirl and that Tish unfollowed Miley.
Starting point is 00:48:12 Right, because they were together. It's like, oh, Miley's now back with the dad. Tish has unfollowed Miley in retribution. So Miley took- Sorry, retaliation. Miley took to Instagram to clear up a few things. Which actually is kind of crazy. Like, I feel like Miley doesn't like make statements.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Do you know what I mean? I feel like she doesn't make statements either, but this is like so personal and people were really getting the details all mixed up. The iPad has died, but my spirit did not. Nope, I got everything backed up on my phone because my iPad, you know, it was being the family iPad all the time.
Starting point is 00:48:43 I was like, wow, we're on the fifth story. She's putting her iPad away. She's was being the family iPad all the time. I was like, wow, we're on the fifth story, she's putting her iPad away? I'm done. She's done for the day. Might work here. What kind of business y'all in? I'm not gonna tell you what Miley said. No, what did she say?
Starting point is 00:48:53 So she said that her mom is like a little, you know, funny with social media, doesn't know how to use her phone and accidentally must've unfollowed her. So there's nothing there. I think she really wanted to clear up the rumors that she was beefing with her mom, because I think that's so untrue, and probably was hurting Tish,
Starting point is 00:49:09 especially if people think that she's going over to Billy Ray's side. She also said that she is working on things with her dad. That things are getting better, and the family is trying to heal and move forward. I never for one second thought that Miley was betraying Trish. I think through all of this,
Starting point is 00:49:24 Miley has actually been the most steadfast Trish. Like I think through all of this, Miley has actually been like the most steadfast Trish. So I didn't think that. And I can't live my life based on people claiming celebrities and following other celebrities. It almost always turns out to be not true. Like they were never following them in the first place. Or it's like someone deactivated their account. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:49:40 Like I can't live my life by those standards because it's too volatile. So I never thought Miley, that's not the interesting part here. And I'm glad she cleared that up for people who aren't as smart as me. The interesting part was like, how do you come back from that devil's gank Miley?
Starting point is 00:49:55 I think they're coming back for me. And you know, that's family. And I want that. And it's been years. And I have to say, I think we can attribute this to one Elizabeth Hurley. Oh yeah, you think the timing is like. I think she's been a positive influence in his life.
Starting point is 00:50:07 And like she came in and she sees that he's like not speaking with his family, like a good woman is gonna mend those bridges. That's true actually. And I think like, she's being who I hoped she would be. Like when she started dating Billy Way, I was like, oh, so she's crazy too. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:50:20 And now I'm like, oh wait, maybe she's making him less crazy. You know, it takes like a good, strong woman to make a man normal. And like, I know that, like, I don't know Fire Rose and I just, I know things were bad between them. It seemed volatile. But I feel like that's when things were really bad
Starting point is 00:50:35 with his children and everything. Like it wasn't a good relationship for his overall family. It's hard to, how would you feel if your father was marrying someone your own age? Like it's hard to- Is she there? She's super young, Fire Rose. Like it's hard to get on board with that if your father was marrying someone your own age? It's hard to- Is she there- She's super young, fire rose. It's hard to get on board with that, but then you see your dad in a relationship
Starting point is 00:50:49 with an age-appropriate woman. I just think of all the issues they had with Billy Ray, the age of his fire rose was not the issue. No, no, but it definitely is not a comfortable, like something you wanna endorse, but Elizabeth Hurley, a successful age appropriate woman, you know what, that's a sign of a sound of mind man. And maybe, yeah, maybe we can start talking again.
Starting point is 00:51:12 I think she's like healing Billy Ray. Well, he also needs help. That's the other thing. Maybe she's helping him. No, but like, sorry, professional help. Maybe she helped him get help. The brother from Metro Station, what's his name? Brandy? Brandy Wine, what's his name? Brandy?
Starting point is 00:51:25 Brandy Wine? What's his name? Bruce? Trace? Trace? Trace? Trace? Brace?
Starting point is 00:51:33 There is a Brace. Oh, okay. But I think it was Trace. Brace and Trace. Brace? One of the brothers. Oh, there is a Trace. Yeah, he's from Metro Station.
Starting point is 00:51:41 Because when you're moving like this. Also, they were reunited for Brace's 31st birthday. But Trace has been the one actively like really outspokenly saying dad, like on social media, like you need help. So, and then of course we can't talk about inauguration. That's part of like really not fitting in to the timeline. At least like Devil's Gang Miley was years ago.
Starting point is 00:52:00 But like they can work on their relationship all they want. But like if Billy is still doing like what he did at the inauguration and he's like in that head space, you can't make progress with a person like that. I don't think he's in that head space. I don't think Elizabeth Hurley would date that person. Well, I hope not. I think that she, just based on every,
Starting point is 00:52:19 especially with like the family coming together, I'm going to believe that she's being a really positive influence, not him being the negative influence on her, that she's lifting him up. Okay. And he is better than he was in January. Here's hoping. Fingers crossed. Yeah. So that would be really nice. It would.
Starting point is 00:52:38 Are you ready for our fifth and final story? Is it about that devil skank, Miley? I can't stop saying that. No, but she also did have her new song come out. Did you hear it? More to lose? I haven't because- Because her team stinks? Yeah, like Miley's new era, if you're a big Miley fan and you actively seek it out,
Starting point is 00:52:54 like of course you can find it, but like it hasn't come across my desk in an organic way. And that's not a good sign. Cause I have most of the time, unless you're like one of my faves, Luke Holmes, Taylor, like I don't actively seek out your music. So if it makes its way to me, that means it's popular. I actually have not even heard one bar of the first one.
Starting point is 00:53:07 No, her theme stinks. Yeah. Everything about this album rollout is giving janky. Okay, I'm so glad you agree. They announced the album so long ago. Right now we still only have two songs. It's like a visual album. It's beyond-
Starting point is 00:53:19 Bad. Badly done, but the song is beautiful. It's like, it's a ballad. So it's like climey and used to be youngy. Used to be youngy, okay. So it's really beautiful. It's called More to Love. And I know that like her press team stinks,
Starting point is 00:53:32 but I'm gonna do my job and promote Miley and use my platform to support Miley. Love that. Our fifth and final story is a little music news. Prince Harry sweetly kisses Meghan Markle. Oh my God, I don't know how we've done the entire show without talking about this. How was this story number five? This should have been story number one. Because it was a few Markle. Oh my God. I don't know how we've done the entire show without talking about this. How was this story number five? This should have been story number one.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Because it was a few days ago and I had to talk about the things that we teased at the top. So I moved some things around and I also, I never know. I never know how you're going to react. Jackie, the hat. OK, they went to the Beyonce concert. That's a story. Harry and Meghan went to the Beyonce concert and she posted a carousel and she gave us a lot of information in that carousel. I don't know if we would have even known
Starting point is 00:54:06 that they were there without this carousel. Like the last, she went to the last Beyonce Renaissance show and we only know that because the person in the suite next to them took a million videos. Like, thank you, sir. But this time, yeah, they were like better protected and we only know because she posted a carousel. She posted a bunch of pictures
Starting point is 00:54:20 with a caption about last night. Da, da, da, da, da. Thank you at Beyonce and team for an amazing concert and a very fun date night. All love. So I want to start with the caption about last night. Da da da da da. Thank you at Beyonce and team for an amazing concert and a very fun date night. I'll love. So I want to start with the caption actually, because the need to acknowledge Beyonce and team, it's like, we get it, Beyonce's your friend, she gave you this free for free, like we got it.
Starting point is 00:54:36 But the contents of the carousel were so fascinating to me, because I've actually never seen two people like wearing weirder things to a concert in my life. Like early 2000s, Urvai Lajer dress, and I get that it's denim, and I think that was like her way of being cowboy. Got it. It didn't read for me,
Starting point is 00:54:52 and she actually is always so well dressed. It's like one of, I think, one of even people who dislike her can always acknowledge like her style is really pargy. I was so confused by this dress, but then I saw the hat. I'm like. You guys. So it's like they're both cosplaying Southern cowboy. Like they've never seen a cowboy before.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Cause yeah, you think, Oh, it's a cowboy concert. Let me wear a hat. But he's wearing more of like a Coachella hat than a Southern cowboy hat. Like a Kimo Sabe. Yeah, not even. Cause Kimo Sabe is like very Western. No, but then I just think his choice, like the choices he made at Kimo Sabe made it this way. It's a wide, it's like a sun hat. It's like a fedora. But it's an oversized fedora. Wait, and by the way, then she posted a picture of the inside of his hat because he definitely got it made at like one of those hattie hairs.
Starting point is 00:55:39 It's like an $800 hat. Yeah, where you can like get little customizations. And they can like brand it with like metal hot iron rods. Right. So there's a bunch of different icons and texts. So one, it says Archie Lilly, my love. Cute. Next is the California flag.
Starting point is 00:55:55 Oh, okay. California pride. To the left of that seems to be the continent of Africa. Yeah, you know, like him and his mom like love doing like their philanthropic work in Africa. Okay. Next to that is a British flag. So interesting. I only saw the kids' names.
Starting point is 00:56:10 I thought the rest was like a tag. I didn't even look. And then next to that is an American flag. So he's all over the map, literally. He's all over the map. And then she wrote, my husband's hat gets a twirl. A twirl? Like we're taking it for a spin, I think.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Okay. Social media is not her forte. And I do think it looks like a toilet actually, but you just showed me the photo. It does, it's an airplane. Right, right. Social media is not Meghan's strong suit. And I actually think it would really behoove her brand
Starting point is 00:56:39 and just overall image if she brought in somebody to help with content and captions. So you would believe by now that she's not doing her, that she is doing her own social media. Yes, and I think it's like a reflection of her kind of weird, but we've always said she has like a cringe quirky personality. So like, you know, a celebrity would know, like, you don't have to say, like, if you think it's Beyonce and team, like it's just, she needs like a social media manager. I do think it would help her a lot.
Starting point is 00:57:00 Especially if she wants to be an influencer. Right. The content is not there and the captions are just like cringing. There's a way to make it still seem like it's coming from Megan. Yeah. But with some sort of filter. Everyone does that. I just couldn't, I really couldn't get over what I was watching.
Starting point is 00:57:16 His hat was so crazy. And of course the rumors are swirling that because he's covering his hat head, he's finally taken the plunge and gotten hair plugs. Because obviously that's been something I think people have wanted for him for a long time. I do think it's far too late for him or William to get hair plugs like you're bald now. So we would know they say Harry Styles got hair plugs. That would be the perfect way to do it because like his hairline
Starting point is 00:57:35 started receding. Yeah, but it's not enough. Maybe he upped the rogaine not enough for us to notice and now it'll never be an issue because he got the plugs. So Harry and William are like so far gone. Like we need to stop actually demanding that they do get them because it would be far too obvious. And I think in general, I know that I feel like people, you know, they make these attacks personal. They like make it about the hair
Starting point is 00:57:52 when they just hate the man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I do think in general, like not every man who's losing his hair needs to get hair plugs. Like I- The man who's losing his hair. Interesting, okay.
Starting point is 00:58:00 I'm fine with people losing their hair. I'm fine with people having a baldness and being bald. You will, I think there are like, if you're gonna be bald, like fully bald, it's a kind of a handsome look, if you can pull it off. I'm not bothered by that. I do think it's important to keep some men ugly, like 100%.
Starting point is 00:58:15 But the men who like do nothing about it, like they don't shave their head, they don't wear hats, they don't fix, and they just have like, you know, the ring, like the Larry David ring. It's like, could you care less? I don't know. It's like, that's just what's happened to them. I know.
Starting point is 00:58:30 But like, what if a woman just like let everything happen to her? Like we don't, we do Botox, we color our hair. We do, but if a woman didn't want to do all that and just wanted to let the process chips fall where they know, like, respect. For sure. I'm not going to yell at her, go to Turkey. You know, but she's kind of in the minority. Whereas a man who does something about it is in the minority.
Starting point is 00:58:47 So do you feel like men who don't do anything about her are being disrespectful by not caring about their looks? Not disrespectful, but I'm like, my God, you don't even care. Yeah, but then he wears a hat, so he obviously cares. You don't get a hat like that if you don't care about how you look. Okay, when it comes to the case of the hat versus the head,
Starting point is 00:59:01 I prefer the head. Like the hat is so ugly, show me your bald head. Yeah, it was just really crazy. Like you're two steps from the throne. Jackie. Have some self-respect. The hat. And people were cracking me up being like the H is for hat because she calls him H. We got down to the bottom of the mystery. I actually don't know what I would have done with my weekend if he didn't wear the hat. So I'm actually really grateful that he did.
Starting point is 00:59:26 And one thing about me, like I fucking hate Prince Harry. Like he is my number one nemesis. There's so much discourse around Meghan and to me it's like, we need to be talking about the- I know, you allow yourself to not participate by channeling it all towards Harry. We need to really actually focus a lot of like the hate and the criticism that we give to Meghan onto Harry. I think he's largely to blame for like the entire situation.
Starting point is 00:59:44 I also think he's the biggest loser on the planet. Like that statement he gave, he's having like a lot of trouble right now in the UK because he lost his case. He wants royal security paid for by the taxpayers. The taxpayers, they give him like a decent level of security but not what like William and Charlie get because you're literally not a royal anymore.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Charlie. So he's just having like a big losery week and I've been on like the I've seen the loser in Harry and I'm ready for the world to see what I see so we need to channel like a lot of our criticisms of Meghan and just like people are obsessed with Meghan everything she does. Personally I can hold space for two things. No to me Harry has is and always will be the problem and the hat just proves my point. Yeah. Yeah. But you guys aren't ready for that conversation yet.
Starting point is 01:00:27 And I feel like it's really crazy that she showed us the inside. You know, cause I feel like she just like stirs up all the old stuff like America, Britain, California. Yeah. Where's these coat of arms? Where's the Sussex coat of arms? Right, right.
Starting point is 01:00:41 I don't know. I just feel like. But at the same time, like Harry is a former Brit living in California. He can like what he likes, you know? And he was like, I don't know, I just feel like. But at the same time, Harry is a former Brit living in California. He can like what he likes, you know? No, no, no, I know, but like. Oh my, I'm not giving space for Harry, I take it back.
Starting point is 01:00:52 No, he can like what he likes. No, he can't, he can't. I'm just saying, I felt like he was really highlighting the fact that he's made this choice, you know? Right, right, but the thing is, we know. He shouldn't, well, if he posted the hat, other things that I would have wanted to see, I don't know thing is like, we know, you know. You shouldn't like if, well, if he posted the hat, like other things that I would have wanted to see, I don't know, maybe like a corgi,
Starting point is 01:01:08 like just like things about Harry. Right. Before this, maybe that's Africa. Maybe. But I don't know. Sussex. Sus. Seriously, sus.
Starting point is 01:01:22 They put the sus in Sussex. Ain't that the truth. Those are good stories. Literally I forgot about the hat. Like the way, like I feel invigorated. Time matches your outfit. You should ask him to borrow it. You should wear this hat to the party tonight.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Yeah, I mean, it's literally a woman's hat. Thank you for proving my point. Well, that's our show. It's Monday, so, you know, just a regular old toast. But not really.
