Starting point is 00:00:00 Good morning, girlies, it's the toast. It's Jackson Claude and we're your host. It's your favorite show, the fast-five things you need to know. We'll start your day off, swirly, it's the toast. They sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and Freight, Yay. Friday derries. Jackie, who am I? Yay! Yay! You're Friday. Correct. How'd you get that? How'd you get so smart? I just know my girl and her and her keen sense of humor. That's me. World renown.
Starting point is 00:00:49 World renown. Happy Friday, everyone. Hope your Friday's off to a great start. Important to acknowledge a space that we're in. You know, if you had a long week, congrats to all the grads. You're graduated from the week. You have a party weekend ahead of you, and you have a great episode of the toast to sort of usher you into it. So everything's coming up toasty. Everything is coming up toasty. Long week, I would say, especially on the heels of a short week, like back in the mix of things. No week feels quite as long as a week after a short week. And then after a long summer break. Well, that's a personal anecdote, but yes. Yeah. So it's just, and then it was a weird week yesterday's a year day. This must be like what it feels like to be a teacher.
Starting point is 00:01:31 I look forward to putting like this week in the past. Yeah, you know, like I had a crazy productive week, like outside of all else. Like, it's my second week back as like being a working mom. And I feel like the first week I really eased into it. Like I literally did the toast and ran home. Now this week I experimented a little bit, you know, like with some extracurricular work stuff after the toast. You know, we recorded some Patreon content.
Starting point is 00:01:52 I took a ton of meetings. We had merch calls. People have been trying to get us on the phone all summer. We're like second week of September, okay? Yeah, and that's exactly. And I made like a major life change this week that I'm going to share in a couple of weeks, you know, not to be like so annoying secret project.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Secret project. It's so uninteresting. When do you think that we could get a sense of this secret project? Maybe like three weeks. Three weeks, okay. I'll write that down on my dates to look forward to. Okay. I'm not pregnant.
Starting point is 00:02:24 That would be a secret project, a very serious. Sweet secret project. I did do something last night, though. So crazy. Coke? It's like you don't even know our quotable moments. It actually offends me. Crack?
Starting point is 00:02:42 Crazier. Meth? Crazier. What? I watched the first two episodes of Love Thy Nader. I know that you did. And that's really like what we have to say every time we just like watch reality TV. It's just like,
Starting point is 00:02:56 Of course, it's a segue. And it's a crazy thing to start a new show and just like be up on it. Especially with like an entirely new group of people, right? These are not celebrities I'm familiar with. And honestly, nobody on the show is a celebrity except for Brooks. So like it's an entirely new introduction. And the show really is making waves in an organic way. I find like I feel like I heard so much about it and how good it was before I even started it.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Same. Whereas sometimes like I just like pick a show. I haven't heard much. And I can tell you, like, everyone is right. Like, there is something to this show. And I'm, it is the it is Brooks. Like, she is a star. She's hilarious.
Starting point is 00:03:37 Well, she's gorgeous. We have a Brooks Nader story today. Oh, okay. And because you watch Love Thineater last night, I watched more episodes. So I think I'm, I watched like two or three episodes. So like we could do a little Love Thineater recap. How does that sound to the class? She's silencing me.
Starting point is 00:03:53 She said, quit it. No, but it's like, we're going to bookend the show with Brooks. I mean, we could. No, it's fine, it's fine, it's fine. But it would be a nice segue into one of our stories. Yeah, it's fine, it's fine. But that is crazy that you did that. I know.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Well, Ben went out and I was like, okay. Speaking of Ben, lish. Loaf is in the oven. He made the... I'm sorry, the loaf is out of the oven, actually. He did the whole process yesterday. He, I'm going to say it, okay? I'm just going to say it.
Starting point is 00:04:20 He made a part of your love. He retarded in the fridge last night, and then he baked it this morning, okay? And that is the technical terms. So, like, don't come for me. Yeah, you have a problem with it, like, take it up with God because he invented the language, okay? Yeah, that's just what the loaf does in the fridge. And so he put the loaf in this morning
Starting point is 00:04:38 and then took it out and you have to wait, like, 45 minutes before you cut it open. So he was, like, running around the city. He was like, I need the best butter in Manhattan. And he ended up running all around the city just to go to Whole Foods. And he got, like, a pari-nine-dollar French butter. Ina's influence.
Starting point is 00:04:55 And I missed the cutting of the, I don't think he's cut it yet. I think he and I decided he would cut it after the toast because you should wait minimum an hour to cut it, but it's better to wait longer because like it's still hot and like cooking on the inside and it can deflate if you cut it too soon. So like the better to wait longer. And I think deflating would really hurt Ben's loaf because between you and I and our millions of listeners, when he took it out of the oven, he was like, Claude, you got to come at,
Starting point is 00:05:18 you got to come see you got. It's insane looking. It's insane. It's gorgeous. Literally, I had to get up from my makeup desk. I walk over to the kitchen and like, mm-hmm. it's literally like it's the wrong shape you know it's not like bulbous and tall it's more like flat and wide like a frisbee almost yeah so that's um it's a little bit flat which for a first loaf at least it rose my first few loaves didn't even rise I would attribute that to him for having an immature starter the stronger your startier is the more it acts as a rising agent um but he took a lot of pride in making starter from scratch even though that's like not a point of pride correct because that we just have like flat sad The point of pride is to, like, have a starter that's been around for hundreds of years.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Like, that's... Oregon Trail. Yeah, the bread is from scratch, but the starter, the older, the better. I just feel like I've been lied to. Like, you know that episode of Sex and the City where Samantha meets that guy who owns the Latin Club? And he's like, we're going to summer in the Hamptons and we're going to go to the South of France. Ben all week has been like, we're going to have Parjee Loz and we're going to have salted toast
Starting point is 00:06:19 and we're going to have big butter and bread. I haven't had one singular piece of bread. And I saw the loaf. I'm not impressed. like I'm not well he'll keep at it like you it's really trial in there and no one really maybe a couple people do if you have a starter that you got from someone and you follow their recipe to a two like I think Shannon's first loaf was pargy but that's also just like Shannon is pargy yeah um it takes time so I'm glad that it rose like he has bread it looks
Starting point is 00:06:46 edible but I understand that it's not technically a pargy loaf no but don't worry I made up for Emily and I made a part she left this morning. That's so great. I'm sure Ben did too in his own way. For sure. Our house is crazy. I'm sure Ruby did too. Our Ruby did.
Starting point is 00:07:06 That's cute. I'm still at the phase. I said this on the Patreon, but it bears repeating. I'm still at the phase where like I live with the smell of Ruby shit. It's like, and not to be like. You can't even call them that. Well, not to be like really TMI. But since I don't have a period yet, I can't share that.
Starting point is 00:07:24 So I have to share this. And maybe other breastfeeding moms will relate. And it makes total sense scientifically, but, like, Ruby's farts and, like, general, like, tushy, like, smells. Smell really similar to mine. When Ruby farts in a gun. Well, that makes sense because you guys are eating the same things. I know. So it's like, if I'm not home and I fart, I'm like, oh, Ruby.
Starting point is 00:07:49 And he radiates the glow around his halo. A new day, Ruby Farts, on a summer day. I sound really nice. That's my key. You look really nice. How are you feeling, Mama? Thank you. I do look nice.
Starting point is 00:08:08 I have a meeting today. And then I'm thinking of maybe having a spot of lunch beforehand because girls got to eat. Who are you meeting with? You know somewhere in your mind. It's not like a meeting, but I have some things to attend. attend to today and then maybe my husband will want to grab some lunch with me I don't know we got we went to lunch on Monday it just like worked out I like needed lunch and I was like gonna go grab
Starting point is 00:08:33 something like from a QSR but then I was like that's always so yucky so we went to hillstone I was ready to sit by myself but I call my husband I was like by the way like I'm going a hillstone like if you want to come and he'd love that's like where we own the only place we go yeah and we had like we both brought our computers and we had like lunch together and so like maybe maybe we'll do it There is something uniquely special about going out to eat alone as a pregnant woman. Like it's kind of complete, not that eating alone isn't socially acceptable, but like it's really sweet and everybody treats you really well. I went out to eat so much alone when I was pregnant.
Starting point is 00:09:09 They just like take really good care of you and everybody's like, oh, how many months? And it's just like kind of the best. Yeah, and I'm like, I'll have one of everything. And there's no judgment, although I always found like whenever I was, because I didn't wear like really bumpy clothes. Like I always was wearing like a big sweatshirt. So like it could just be like a big girl going out for lunch or it can be a pregnant girl going out for lunch.
Starting point is 00:09:29 So whenever I was like ordering like particularly, you know, indulgently, always put my hand on my belly. Yeah. And like maybe a little on the hip like on the back too. Like I think I'll have the panella vodka. When I put my hand on my back, I do feel like dramatic. Yeah. But my hand is actually always on my belly.
Starting point is 00:09:47 Just like, you know, moving around feet. So I'm glad you brought that up. Because I remember when Megan Markle was pregnant and she presented at that award show Or something She got so much hate for like having her hands on her belly Like it was such a random thing for her to get hate for And you I think were pregnant at the time
Starting point is 00:10:05 And you were like no clod I'm telling you like You really just like can't stop touching your belly When you're pregnant It's just I just remember you saying that Anytime I even think about the fact Oh I'm pregnant I like a touch If I feel something I touch Like I need a rest
Starting point is 00:10:17 It's a nice shelf I just remember that you said that And I want to say that was not my experience Well, you, did you have a lot of action in your belly when you were pregnant? I feel like you didn't, but I also just saw like a really cute reel that was like, it was like, you know, this person who didn't like feel a lot of like kicks and stuff while they were pregnant and then they cut to the baby and it's like, because he's just a chill baby. Like, and it was like the cutest chiller.
Starting point is 00:10:42 And that's Ruby. Yeah. So like I had like I had movement, you know, because or else I would have set myself to the hospital being like there's no movement. I had very standard movement. But no, I didn't even see like people like. film their bellies and like there's a kick and you see the whole foot like yeah no ruby was really chill he was also breach and i was like well why is he breach and i feel like now i know because like he
Starting point is 00:11:01 was just chilling hard like cozy he's really not like a big torturer and so while i didn't get like the labor and delivery that i wanted i really had a higher jean newborn baby who like wasn't a torturer so honestly i feel like i would have taken that trade off anytime yeah and now i mean i don't know if it's because he was breach or he was breach because he is this way but like the way that he sits like the way that he likes to be situated like is so rich he's just like this is it yeah like he's always just like sitting up yeah like so cute other babies like always want to be in like cradle position oh really yeah really yeah some some babies always want to be like vertical here ruby just wants to be like sitting up like a big man and that's what he was doing in your belly
Starting point is 00:11:45 ruby in my belly like that's the baby that was in your belly it's like the baby that was in your belly it's like the Ruby who just like sits like hey guys what's going on yeah it's so true like he just wants a seat at the table that's why you're excited for um high chairs and he is too i'm so excited for high chairs did i say that that was like a milestone i'm looking forward to on patreon was a question yeah and that's what you said because like i just want him to join us like up here he's always vertical yeah he'll love it um huge news i'm seeing the downtown Navi movie this weekend. I cannot wait. I've got my tickets. I've had them for two weeks. I'm so prepared. And it wasn't like competitive. The theater was completely empty.
Starting point is 00:12:25 That's worrisome. It is for the... For the state of great cinema. Correct. Having said that, I know the DAQ will show up when it matters. That's the downtown abbey community. Yeah. It's a strong, but mighty. It is. Strong and mighty. And the stories are... The stories are good. We're going to wrap up some things from the week, put a bow on it.
Starting point is 00:12:51 Queenie and weenie, which is also the best way to put a bow on your week. I had a hard time coming up with Queenie and Weenie this week. Of course, I had three weenies in rotation, but I didn't really like any of them that much. It's like, what we're going to make Kendra Lakari the weenie. Like what she did was a federal offense, not a, you know, a weenie offense. And she did it like three years ago. Like I would sooner make Netflix the Weenie for giving her the edit they did. So true.
Starting point is 00:13:13 You know, that was recent. Yeah. What else? did I watch? I feel like I've been watching something. What was I watching? Oh, and then another contender for, actually, no, you know, I'm just going to, I'm going to say that.
Starting point is 00:13:24 Oh, I know what you're going to say. I have a personal anecdote I'd like to share during Queenie and Weenie. Not to be a tease, but stay tuned. Oh, I thought you were going to say something else. So I don't know what you're going to say. Well, I might be saying that, but you just all, you'll have to wait until Queenie and Wee. Wait, can I just text you and guess because now I'm like, am I so off or am I so on?
Starting point is 00:13:42 I just don't want to spoil it. Nothing that I wouldn't say live. Okay. is that it no okay i'll tell you guys at the end of the show stay tuned for more actually let me think hold on is that what you were um that's not even was running through your head was it it wasn't but now i kind of want it to be okay let's see where the show takes says cogie okay okay and speaking of the show without further i do do that do about things that are going to happen in the show.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Here are the fast-dye stories that you dot do need to know. Today's episode is brought to you by Byhart, an infant nutrition company built from the ground up to deliver real innovation on behalf of babies and parents. Their mission is simple, is to make the best formula in the world. So I feel like everyone can relate to the early days of motherhood, especially as a first time mom,
Starting point is 00:14:37 being just so afraid. And the only thing you can do is turn to your phone and start Googling, which can be helpful, but also makes it worse. Spiral. Spiral season? Spiral season like literally me sending pictures of like dirty diapers to chat GBT like that's how low I went like that's how far I fell and I think people have so many questions when it comes to what to feed your babies right like that's so hard especially when it comes to formula and I like that by heart just approaches this with like we're doing all the work
Starting point is 00:15:01 we're answering all the questions by heart is the formula that answers so we can stop those even though nothing's going to stop those midnight spirals but they can help trim them down yeah and there's a lot of things that you're going to worry about as a mom and a new mom but like knocking one thing off, whether it's formula, is a huge one. Yeah. And I feel like in the middle of the night when like no one's awake, you can't like call the doctor. And you feel like crazy too, right? Like when I thought Ruby was blind.
Starting point is 00:15:27 I'm like, well, I'm crazy. But I actually think like maybe I'm onto something. You really can like trick your brain into being like, no, no, this is really happening. This is reality. It's actually like a really scary mental time. So I really appreciate that by heart. Like put so much thought and energy and care and like studies into their product. making it the formula that answers, you know?
Starting point is 00:15:47 So they understand the questioning, especially when it comes to feeding your baby. That's why they make one infant formula that cuts through the clutter. It's made by pediatricians and parents, just like you. It's backed by groundbreaking clinical trials and breast milk science. It's built for baby's brains, bellies, and beyond.
Starting point is 00:16:02 So, of course, by heart can't end every spiral and, like, truly nothing can. And I just think it's also, it's kind of like a hazing. Like, you have to go through that crazy time to get to the other side of, like, the newborn era. Yeah, and there's always going to be things that will come up, you know, but like when you're worried about, like, what they're eating and how they're eating, like, that's just like, I would say one of the biggest ones that, like,
Starting point is 00:16:21 if you can get peace of mind in that category, everything else feels a little more manageable. You will question everything except for this, buy heart, the formula that answers. And if you're curious about Byheart, head to buyheart.com, B-Y-H-E-A-R-T.com. Starting point is 00:18:12 of a website or a domain. Thank you. You're welcome. Our first story, we're getting a little information about why Nina Dobrev and Sean White reportedly broke up. Yeah, she was making crazy TikToks like nobody thought much of. And now, like in hindsight, we know. Well, I've seen some of the TikToks. I couldn't understand like what she was trying to tell us through them.
Starting point is 00:18:34 But sources are now coming out sharing that they split that because they weren't on the same page anymore. So actually, I had this all wrong. according to this insider who told the Daily Mail that it wasn't surprising that they broke up because they've been moving in different directions for a while they reportedly had different priorities he wanted to start a family while she was focused on her career I would have thought it was the opposite like that he was off running around
Starting point is 00:18:56 and like she was like hey come home but no it was the opposite so the source said Sean is retired and has had his last Olympics he was very ready for marriage and kids and all that comes from that Nina was on board but also very interested in seeing where her acting career was going to go as that was and is very important to her. Well, she got the role of the lifetime.
Starting point is 00:19:16 And it happened one summer, so, yeah, Piper's not pregnant. I feel like we're seeing this more where it's like flipping that stereotype on its head where it used to be like you'd have to shove the man down the aisle and like, you know, poke holes in condoms, like just to get them to settle down. And now it's like really flipped on its head where I feel like we're talking a lot more, at least with like public figure breakup. Well, very page and Craig is how I feel. Where the, where the man is the one who wants.
Starting point is 00:19:41 once, the more traditional settling down. And he's kind of like bringing the woman down whilst doing that. Yeah, because it really is on the woman to like make a lot of the, of the, at least to get started to make a lot of the life changes. But he's 39 and she's 36. So yeah, it is that sort of time when it's like, if it's not going to happen now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:02 Then and I want it. She's 39 or he's 39? He's 39. Got it. And she's 36. And if I want it now and it's not happening now and you don't see it happening soon, well then like this is my life you know yeah I think people get like really I mean they don't get and not for no reason but I think they it get really existential about that you know he's almost 40
Starting point is 00:20:21 and he's like I'm not a dad I don't know if this is what happened here but I think that happens a lot yeah 40 for men is like a midlife crisis type of time and I think and if you haven't had it's like if you haven't had the baby thing yet like that's when you start to have like your crash out and if you had had the babies that's when you like have an affair and get a red car yeah and I think most men who want, who always intended to be fathers, like expected that they would be fathers by 40. That's like the number. Yeah. And I feel like for women, when it's the opposite, you have that with 30. It's like 30 is this huge. Oh my God, if I don't have kids because like, I don't know, there's so much pressure on turning 30 as a woman and I guess that's what it is for a man when they
Starting point is 00:20:57 turn 40. Yeah, but for women, it's, it is more biological. But for men too, like they don't want to be old dads and old sperm and blah, blah, blah. Like they have their things to worry about for women, it's like much more tick-tock, tick-tock. Right. It's terrible. And I do feel like not to be delusional. I feel like her casting in the summer I turn pretty, like the summer I turned pretty. The summer it happened. The summer I charged in the charging station with a big
Starting point is 00:21:23 fisherman. The summer the fisherman put his finger on my butt. Like. It happened one summer. I feel like that kind of ruined their relationship. Yeah, there's like a butt finger. I remember. You told me you were like something crazy happens in the book. It does It does sound vaguely familiar, but it's crazy. But it didn't, like, leave a lasting impression, like, the charging station. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:42 We both took, like, different things away from that book. Also, to say, I do feel like it kind of ruined their relationship because, like, yeah, she wants to focus on her career now. Like, she really is not, like, a crazy, busy working actress. And it's, I feel like acting is a type of job where it's, like, you can take a bunch of time off, have a baby, and then pick right back up, right? and so but this if they are just about to start filming like you said they haven't had their table read we need a year we then she wants to do the press tour not dying to do that pregnant like
Starting point is 00:22:16 it puts a couple years until I think like maybe this book who would have known when we read it and we loved it then it would ruin Sean White and Nina Dobre's relationship because for the last couple of years like she was in one Netflix movie she's really not like a very busy working actor so that probably would have been the time and like now they're having the conversations, but it's like at the worst time because she just got this huge role. Just want to say it's never a good time, you know? It's so true. But if we are going to blame someone, we are blaming Tessa Bailey.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Yeah. Blame the casting director because we didn't even think that this was like a good casting. Right. Like, right. He could have done someone else. Right. And then they could have been happy. Maybe she just, but also, it could have been the role, but also could have just been like,
Starting point is 00:22:59 she didn't want to have kids. With him. But, but like if you're in a relationship for that, long you get engaged you are on the same page yeah but i just feel you know sometimes it's like mill if i if i wanted to i would and i don't want to so maybe and i don't i don't so maybe i don't want to you know honestly it's very craig and pedge yeah and i agree with you this is something that we're seeing more and more of trendy hashtag women's lib oration hashtag free the nip i just want to say i stand with the free the nip you do conglomerate
Starting point is 00:23:34 now as a breastfeeding mama and let me say my biggest hater is ben i like refuse to be inconvenienced like oh we're out to dinner and ruby needs to eat open up like i refuse to be because i see all these ticot's being like motherhood is you know nursing in the other room while everybody's started eating without you not me bitch i'm right at the front of the table and i got my titty out i refuse to be sideline. And whenever, like me and Ben, like when we go golfing, well, he goes golfing, I'm like, I just come for lunch. And it's always around the time. We like make the drive, whatever. Whenever we get there ready to eat, it's always a time for Ruby to eat. He was like, oh, you can go to the women's locker room. I'm like, you can go to the women's locker
Starting point is 00:24:18 room. So have you really nursed at a restaurant? Yeah. Without a cover. You use a cover. You like your cover. I have used the cover. You've obviously been there for it. Sometimes I don't have the cover and I just lift up my shirt. I don't have my whole titty out. Like, not a big deal. I never saw you do it in a manner that's like you're one of those like It's hard to get the titty in without being seen. Yeah. Once the titty's in, we're good.
Starting point is 00:24:45 Yeah. Yeah. Free the knit. I refuse to be like isolated. I think that also really hurts the mental health of nursing mamas when like you miss out on everything because you're downstairs or in the bathroom. And then it also I think cuts short a lot of women's breastfeeding journeys because they're giving up so much.
Starting point is 00:25:03 because they're not enjoying it. I'll be breastfeeding until Roombie's five and I'll be doing it in the middle of the restaurant. It's giving Robin Aaron. I understand his mother more than ever. Also, I want to know, what did you make of the TikToks? Can you explain them to us that Nina Dobreve had been making? Do they point to this theory?
Starting point is 00:25:23 No, it's like men ain't shit. It was giving like he wouldn't, you know, really commit. Interesting. But it could be men ain't shit because he wouldn't wait for you to film your movie. Right, let me play you the sounds that she was using and we can dissect them if that's something you want to do. It's something I'm interested in.
Starting point is 00:25:42 I will say it's not my strong suit because I feel like you need to watch, like you need to know the context on TikTok, but I'll let you know what comes to mind. Oh, there was one that she deleted. Okay. How do you sleep at night knowing people don't like you? With no underwear in case they want to kiss my ass.
Starting point is 00:26:01 What's your advice for women, trying to fix their man. Listen, Bob the builder, he's got 10 other women trying to fix them too and you all look like a damn construction crew. Oh, that's keeping cheating.
Starting point is 00:26:11 It is. Play more. Oh, God. Well, that's actually the only one. I saw a different one, but these are from August. I need to know when they broke up. I think they probably broke up
Starting point is 00:26:21 like a couple weeks ago. And I just want to say, I feel like if he cheated. Yeah? This source, this source feels like Sean's camp a little bit, you know? And I feel like if he cheated
Starting point is 00:26:34 They would not like go out there with like some lies Because she's gonna come back swinging Right Okay she used this song Move on to the next The only X I want is extra money No extra stress No extra worry
Starting point is 00:26:51 If I don't if they're done Okay So she wants like the money over the X So she took the job Of it happened one summer I think that we can really point into that as being And when she posted that no one was like No
Starting point is 00:27:08 You're engaged because that's the thing Like everyone just thinks like they're so good She's just using a TikTok sound They were so not anyone we thought of us for weeks They had to like put out of a statement Because no one got a close That's frustrating For sure
Starting point is 00:27:21 I'm sure we'll hear more Especially now that this has been like released If it's not true Some will come to correct it Yeah You know, eventually time will tell. If he settles down with the next girl and has kids quickly, then, yeah, this is what that was. Joe Manginello.
Starting point is 00:27:36 You know, if it happened when summer gets a sequel, this is what that was. Well, it happened when summer does have a sequel. It's a book about the sister. It's called Hookline and Singer. Sinker. I didn't read it. Sinker. I didn't read it. Oh, I did.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Are you ready for our next story? Yes. Some more couple news. I'm curious to hear your thoughts because Harry Stiles and Zoe Kravitz were spotted jetting out of New York City. together commercial at Newark Airport followed by like a fan an annoying fan peppering them with questions I saw too so the video was from one annoying fan being like hey do you think you and the broads will be together for one's around I don't even know where this person was from so I'm just making a back one direction and then he caught like a he was getting his own moment this fan and then he caught
Starting point is 00:28:24 like another fan being like Harry can I please take a picture Harry you want to be nice to your fans even though this was in New York, so I don't know why everyone's British. Well, he's asking about One Direction. This guy's like peppering Harry with questions. Zoe's walking behind him. It's like very tense and uncomfortable. And like honestly,
Starting point is 00:28:40 the sort of thing that could end a budding relationship because it's like, Zoe, if I'm Zoe, I'm like, where's my fucking plane? Like why? Not only that. Why am I walking through TSA with the lay people? If I'm Zoe and you're making me walk through TSA
Starting point is 00:28:55 with the lay people, yes. But also like you're walking ahead of me. and really not being like protective boyfriend. Well, he was carrying her things. I don't care. Like, he was walking ahead of her. It could have been his handbag, but I don't know with him. It's actually true.
Starting point is 00:29:13 But I don't know. It wasn't giving like protective, masculine energy. And I'm toxic like that. I know, but I feel like sometimes when you're just trying to move quickly, like it's like agreed upon like heads down going forward. Like this isn't about like I'm going to keep my arm around. You're like, we're on a mission. like those videos people love to post of like haley and justin where he like closed the door on her by accident or like walks ahead of her on the skateboard in time square um it's just not giving like big big papa energy yeah i just wanted to say like if they are never seen together again after this like it's because she got the ick it's like this is something that could give a girl the ick is harry like a climate king i don't know but you know what i was also thinking about him like at one point he was making no one was making bigger songs than him
Starting point is 00:29:57 like the biggest pop star in the world and like it's crazy how you can't take a year off because now I'm like retired old man get back to work like oh that's funny I feel like that's too much of a generalization like because I think that about Sean Mendez like Sean Mendez was the biggest pop star in the world he took time off and it's like who I think that about Camilla Cabello yes but I think you get to a certain level where you can take time off and it doesn't affect you and I think Harry's at that level I don't think so because I'm like he can't afford a jet he's not working oh he can afford a jet yes no I don't agree with you. Sean Mendez and Camilla Cabello both, like, decided to take time off for their mental
Starting point is 00:30:31 health and it ruined their careers. Like, yeah. It's crazy how that works. It's sad. And I think that's why people get stuck in this like Hamsterwill of tour album, tour album, because you do get forgotten about until a certain point where it's like everyone's anticipating, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, like, you take time off and they're like, LG6, LG6, LG6, there's no SM3. Like, no one cares about John Mendez now. It's crazy. I feel like Harry is taking a little too much time off. Like, and when you're, not that he's new, but like his solo, career is relatively new. I think he had like one or two solo albums. So it's like that's when you get no time off and like you burn out. Have to build to that level. You're a young person.
Starting point is 00:31:06 And then eventually you get. So I just feel like he's slipping. And it's sad to say. I don't agree. Slipping. But it might be time to get back to work. Like I think we're I think we're approaching that. But I don't think it's had an effect yet. Okay. So if he can afford a jet and he didn't get her one. Like I'm sorry if I'm her. No. And if I'm Benson Boone, like, I'm paying a witch on Etsy to put a curse on Harry Styles, you know? Like, keep, keep staying out of the line. Like, keep letting me be sort of like a caricature of Harry Styles. It's working for me.
Starting point is 00:31:44 It's working for Benson. Yeah. Benson. Benson. I love him. I know you know. Actually, I don't know him at all. I like his music a lot.
Starting point is 00:31:55 I actually don't know, like, one thing that he's. stands for but you know what I love that too me too how about it's giving have a shut up and sing yeah just put out music I don't want to know about you I do feel like we know a little too much about some of our favorite celebrities yeah agreed um so Zoe and Harry this I mean this is giving like real relationship like you know running through the airport together but I don't know it's icky yeah I found the whole thing really icky as somebody who finds Harry like really like attractive yeah I agree Like he couldn't handle.
Starting point is 00:32:28 When he like kind of put his arm up in the camera of the guy, I was just like, he couldn't handle his business. Yeah. He also seemed really flustered. He did. And I have sympathy because it's a really stressful. Yeah, like it's a really stressful situation. I've never, obviously never experienced it.
Starting point is 00:32:45 But like I imagine it's really unenjoyable. Like I don't blame him at all. But like, I don't know. I just feel like we're not supposed to see the side of Harry. It's like seeing a teacher out of school. Like go back. Yeah. I agree.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I agree. Are you ready? for our next story. A little more relation news because Liam Hemsworth is engaged. His fiance, Gabriella Brooks, confirmed engagement with a massive diamond ring.
Starting point is 00:33:09 These two have been dating for a long time. And now they're engaged. She's going to give marriage another go. Yeah, that's great. Based on what we know from like the hate songs, Miley wrote about him, he wanted like just a girl.
Starting point is 00:33:23 Again, it's kind of like... To behave. Yeah, but like someone just to say, settle down, quiet life with. He definitely, like, I know he's technically famous. Does he work? I don't know. He scares me. For sure.
Starting point is 00:33:36 You know? He's just not about this life. Yeah, because it wasn't just the time he told her to, like, stop sticking her tongue out on the red carpet. Like... Yeah, that video has made the rounds. It's actually a crazy video. It is. But there's like other stuff too. Like, he was cheating on her, right? Because she filmed at the house. Right,
Starting point is 00:33:51 right. They stayed with Jennifer Lawrence. Although Jennifer Lawrence went on watch Shopman's Live and said, please, leave me out of this. I have nothing to do with it. And I believe her. Yeah, I just feel like Miley gave like him like 10 of the greatest years of her life. And like he was just so unworthy and like what did he do to her? Because she was like so ready to love him forever. It's so true.
Starting point is 00:34:08 So. And it was like it was like her real like first big love right. Yeah. No, but she like chose him and she kept choosing him and he was not worthy. Maybe he's grown up since. Yeah. It's Gabriella Brooks's problem now, not mine. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:26 They're lovely looking couple. They've been together a while. Like, this has been his lady for a while. So I'm rooting for them. They also say that he cheated on Miley with Aza Gonzalez. Remember that? Yeah, but that's not how I remember it, though I vaguely remember it. They broke up a lot, Miley and Liam.
Starting point is 00:34:41 Right. So I thought that Aza was just like a fling while they were not together. Yeah. And people always wanted to know who he was, like, spotted out with because he's like Miley's ex. Of course, Colby from Dynasty. Our girl, Madison. Madison.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Yeah. Yeah, now he's loved up. Well, Mazel, I think that it's really interesting how he was like really famous at a big movie star for so long. It's so much so that like he had a brother, Chris, and we were like, yeah, whatever. And now like Chris is the biggest movie star in the world. And I don't think Liam has acted in 10 years. No, I know. It's really crazy because he's not any less handsome.
Starting point is 00:35:19 But I think by choice. No. I think it's by choice, honestly. I feel like he did not like. And he got really famous with Miley. I feel like he did not like it. And don't forget Hunger Games. Right.
Starting point is 00:35:30 And don't forget when the waves are flooding the shore and I can't find my way home anymore. Honestly, I have like a little bit of a cold. Sticky shoes. That sounded really good. Yeah. And Miley has like that sort of smoker's cough. Like that's when I like rasp.
Starting point is 00:35:50 I look at you. So good. You bitches could never, honestly. Never. One of my biggest regrets. I know I have a list of regrets that we always joke about that like I mention all the time. But what's not on that list is that my freshman year of college, I was planning on auditioning for X Factor.
Starting point is 00:36:08 Do I need to get the list out, by the way? I think you do. I haven't gone over this list in a while. Okay. Let's go. So this list, if you're new here, this list came from the fact that, like, I had a couple of regrets that it was like, it's important. People always ask you, like, what's your biggest regret?
Starting point is 00:36:21 And, like, nobody has the answer, like, offhand. And I was like, Jack, Jackie, we need to write down because I have a couple of regrets. I know that not getting in the police car. This is a fucking hysterical. Yeah. Not getting in the police cars, one of my biggest regrets. I can't really get into that story.
Starting point is 00:36:33 But basically, I witnessed a bank robbery and the police showed up. And they were like, can you help us? Like, get in the car. We need to find the guy because I remember exactly what he looked like? And I was like, yeah, sure. And Ben grabbed me. He was like, what are you doing? I'm like, I'm getting in the police car.
Starting point is 00:36:45 What are you doing? And he was like, you can't. I was like, oh, okay. And then I was like, why don't I listen to this idiot. Controlling. I'm controlling. of my life controlling what was the other one there are so many and they're so funny okay the easiest jacket but honestly like I don't regret that anymore yeah because that was like just
Starting point is 00:37:02 it was an accident and I didn't know I was like literally this was like three apartments ago so like actually two apartments ago I bought this piece of merch from I thought it was like Kanye's this before Kanye went crazy um I thought it was like Kanye dot com but it must have been like some Chinese like drop shipping company and I bought like the fake he was making those bomber jackets yeah and the one that I bought had like a confederate flag on the sleeve no his did too oh okay so but I bought a fake but yours just like an extra bonus to the story um and I wore it like once or twice and nobody said anything to me and then I posted like a picture in my um closet and you could see it in the background and people were like oh my god she's a confederate worshipper I'm like it's merch I threw it out
Starting point is 00:37:49 Immediately. Oh, and by the way, at the time, I had no idea what the Confederate flag was. Right. And now, you know. Obviously, now I know it's bad. I threw it out immediately. And so that's on the list of regrets,
Starting point is 00:37:58 but honestly, like, I don't regret it. It's not like you did something knowingly. And then, yeah, it was an accident. Agreed. So here are your other regrets, if you want to know. I do. Not going to the life of Pablo concert. My regrets are extremely Kanye-coded.
Starting point is 00:38:18 And then... And you know what? that is a regret because I obviously you were close to going and like you were thinking about it. I loved that album so much and I was like Ben can you get tickets? He was like yeah sure and then I'm laying in bed one night Ben had no idea he totally dropped the ball. Jackie's at
Starting point is 00:38:30 the concert I'm like what the hell? Yeah and then that's not a regret really so much anymore but but it's there it's funny to keep them on the list and remember not going to Red Taylor Swift concert that is a huge regret of mine yeah starting the morning toes Facebook group
Starting point is 00:38:47 biggest regret of my life those fucking crazy bitches this is a good one not going to the Shorty Awards oh that one gives me a pit that's a huge regret I won and Shane Mitchell was like Claudia Atre and I had RCPDS
Starting point is 00:39:01 and I literally like forgot I was that day and I slept through it and my phone was blowing up when I woke up and they were like Shane Mitchell was on stage of this like televised event being like Claudia Audrey and I wasn't there everyone's looking around like oh my god
Starting point is 00:39:11 it's such a dead beat content creator I could die oh my god and then these are funny these are funny and then Chris Appleton on the toes Like huge regret Looking like a rat When we looked like shite
Starting point is 00:39:21 So what did I say Was my biggest regret that I wanted to add? We were talking about Miley Liam Shit Oh X Factor Yeah so my freshman year of college
Starting point is 00:39:35 I was planning on trying out for X Factor Because I was I talked about this last week I was really impacted as a young woman By the American seasons of X Factor Specifically Camilla Cabo's rise to face and I was taking voice lessons because I got like two extra credits for college
Starting point is 00:39:50 and Ben and I were like we were going and then something happened where Ben was like I actually can't drive you that day so like just someone else will have to take you and I was like okay so I guess I just won't go and my life could have been very different because I would have won that shit yeah but or you like wouldn't have it would always be like just something like oh she was on the X Factor you know what I mean I think it's better oh yeah I was just singing
Starting point is 00:40:11 I sounded really good I said you bitches can ever and one of my biggest regrets is not being a famous singer and my route to getting there was going to be X Factor U.S. And then the show ended like the year after that because it wasn't successful in the States. But it's like even if Carly Rose Sond and Claire couldn't become a famous singer after winning X Factor, like no offense to you,
Starting point is 00:40:27 it wasn't going to make you a famous singer. Offense taken, but okay. The offense is towards X Factor U.S. for not making bigger stars. Yeah, Simon Cowell. That's what the target is. I'm cracking up at the list of regrets. It's so funny.
Starting point is 00:40:40 So funny. We got to keep it like, so it's important to write them down because they will never remember that. Yeah. Are you ready for our fourth story? Yeah. I don't think you are. Really?
Starting point is 00:40:53 We have like Queenie and Love Thigh. I feel like I'm ready. This is going to be Love Thigh. Oh. Oh, where I could switch. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, switch. I said switch. Okay, our next story is actually really funny because Nate Bargadzee, who is hosting the 2025 Emmys,
Starting point is 00:41:09 says that he will be taking $1,000 from a charitable donation. for every long speech. So, Nate Bargatesy has revealed his plan to ensure Emmy winners keep their speeches on the shorter side and there's a financial stake. A $100,000 donation to the Boys and Girls Club. Oh, you said $1,000.
Starting point is 00:41:27 No, so he's going to donate $100,000 to the boys and girls club. Wow. For every long speech, he will deduct $1,000 from that donation. That is fucking funny, honestly. Yeah, so anyone who goes over for the sake of their own ego stroking is taking money from the children. And I just want to say, I love this, but it's funny, it's effective. And he could have chosen a lot of organizations. And I feel like so many organizations, especially recently, like they've been disgraced, right? Like even we were
Starting point is 00:42:01 just talking about fire aid. Like none of that money went to the victims of the palisades. It's terrible. And please don't tell me, because I feel like the Boys and Girls, the Club of America is like our last great organization. I think they do like amazing work. And they help so many people. And as far as I know, they haven't been disgraced with, like, a big scandal. I haven't heard anything. And I drive all over the city. I see their facilities, right? Like, they have, like, big after-school facilities where they do extracurriculars and sports
Starting point is 00:42:25 and music, and it's wonderful. Like, he couldn't have chosen a better organization, honestly. So, like, people are going to, if you go over and you're taking money from them, like, you're, we don't care what you have to say. Like, you're the villain of this story. Also, it's more than that. For every second they go over, it's $1,000. I also think there are a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:42:44 If you go under, we will put $1,000 back on so you can give back. Okay, so we're hearing about this, but how do the people who can actually, who are in the audience, like, are they listening to Nate Bargazy's podcast? Like, how do they know? So he said this on Jimmy Killable Live, probably not watching that either. I'm sure he'll start the show with it. Like, this is the, and that's like, also, it's already a funny show. I'm laughing.
Starting point is 00:43:05 No, it's already funny. Yeah. I love this. And I think there are actually a lot of people in the arts who, like, got to where they are because of the Boys and Girls Club of America. Like, they really encourage extracurriculars like getting into the arts. So there are probably a lot of people
Starting point is 00:43:19 who have benefited from the organization in the crowd. Yeah, he said for more incentive, he plans to have kids from the charity in the room. Look them in the eye as you take money. While taking money out of their pockets. Just so you could, like, thank your agent.
Starting point is 00:43:33 He said they're going to come out and you got to look them in the face. It's real. That's why we did the ad on because I thought everybody would think it was a joke if we just took away. I swear I'm putting the money up. Yeah, because people could actually,
Starting point is 00:43:45 he could bind up donating more if everybody was just like, thank you, have a good night. Hard tolish. And by the, they don't give you no time. They give you 30, 45 seconds. Like, that is sufficient. But if you go under, you give more money.
Starting point is 00:43:58 You get, takeeth and give it. Brilliant. It's funny. I love this. And I don't really know a lot about Nate, but I get, see? So, like, this is my first intro into what will be my first viewing
Starting point is 00:44:11 of something he's done. And I'm loving it, but-a-ba-ba-ba. I'm optimistic. I agree, especially because, like, the people who go over are usually trying to, like, do good in their own heads. In the most annoying, condescending way. Right, but it's like, oh, you actually, what if you want to actually do good? Do good. Also, speaking of McDonald's, I located in McFlurry last night.
Starting point is 00:44:31 Oh, my gosh. Like, what was the occasion? Ben went out to dinner. I'm like, bring me back a sweet treat. He went to, like, one of those, like, fancy steakhouses in Midtown that have, like, I forget which one he went to. Yeah, but it's like a Morton's type of Capitol Strait. steakhouse.
Starting point is 00:44:44 So I bring me back like a chocolate cake, something. Yeah. And he comes back with the McFlurry. I'm like, what is this? He's like, they wouldn't let me do takeout of dessert. Isn't that weird?
Starting point is 00:44:54 I think he. Like, yeah, that, he was like, no, I swear I asked. I'm like, that's really weird. He's like, so I just like pick this up on the way home. I was like, you know what? This is better. It works.
Starting point is 00:45:03 Yeah. One man's trash is a turdy's treasure. I'm officially in the window of like can't have sweet treats before bed anymore because I'll wake up choking. Yeah, like it's dinner and then done. oh my god that's the worst part of pregnancy being so hungry but so sensitive to acid reflux in the night so after dinner and you have to have like a really bland dinner yeah not eat dinner too late it's over for tacos not eat dinner too late like that's not I forgot about that yeah it happened a bit later than I expected it is kind of late because like in the over the summer like we were snacking a lot before bed and like I was most actually I was getting woken up a little bit but anyways um it's okay I know what you guys are going to say just like just have the treat like you'll suffer but it'll be fine it's not worth it no i'm not going in that lake it's too big and scary before we dive into the remainder of the show let me just tell you that the remainder of the show is
Starting point is 00:45:54 brought to you by huggies so we were just talking about like active babies right like you have really active babies like kicking screaming especially during changing which can be really you know traumatic but huggies is here their little movers have up to 100% a leak proof fit so i'm new to the game obviously, but I'm familiar with a blowout. It's kind of crazy. And the more your baby, like, runs and kicks and frolics, it can impact the dude. The containment.
Starting point is 00:46:21 The containment of the specimen. Huggie's Little Movers are available with double grip strips and their new Huggy Fit 360 waistband. Huggies, we got you baby. Today's episode of the toast is also brought to you by Happy Hen, a company that I'm newly familiar with, but I'm loving and I'm also just really like I love the message. So a happy hen makes a happy egg. So most store-bought eggs are sad eggs. You can literally see like they look like they came from sad hens. Meaning that the hens who lay them are trapped inside. The yolks are pale. The taste is bland. Happy hens spend their days outside on pasture leading to a tasty orange yolk and a difference that you can taste. The proof is inside the shell. So I love this concept. Yokes being orange rich and like make them rich and flavorful and I feel like we're so conditioned. I feel like over the summer I saw an orange yolk and I was like Jackie, what is this? You're like, no, no, that's literally how it's supposed to be. We are so conditioned to accept less. to accept worse, to accept sad eggs.
Starting point is 00:48:12 No, not anymore. I know, I feel like when you become a mom, you become really, and eggs are like really used heavily. Yeah. Oh, and a hot button issue, yeah. And you just start to take more care as to what you're putting in your own body, in addition to that of your family. Like, what are my chickens eating?
Starting point is 00:48:29 Where are they living? Where are they living? What are their conditions? Are they happy? Like, a happy egg, a happy chicken's going to lay a happy egg. And happy egg has a difference that you can see, taste, and trust. So visit happy egg.com slash toast to find happy egg near you. And make sure your next dozen is filled with PGOE's precious gem of an eggs.
Starting point is 00:48:51 Start your day off swirly, happy egg, and toast, which we love. Hopefully not bends. That's too sweet. Today's episode is also brought to you by Quince. Brooks Nader was dating both Carlos Al-Karaz and Yonik Sinner during the U.S. Open reports. Clearing up some of our confusion from yesterday. because we heard Yonik, then they reported Alcoraz, and now it's like, oh, no, it's both. It was both at the time, reports page six,
Starting point is 00:52:12 that she was romantically playing doubles with both men's finalists at the 2025 U.S. Open. She, it's now said that she's dating Carlos. I think she, like, probably made a choice after he won the championship and was like, okay, I'll go with him. But I think during the competition. Yeah, during the competition, like she was courting both of them. I wonder if they knew about each of us.
Starting point is 00:52:35 other. That's really crazy. I just want to say like, this is a sleigh. Like this, you know how we hear stories like, you know, back in the day. So feel a red. Like, no, like JFK, Marilyn Monroe and Jackie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Seriously, this is such a sleigh. It's so funny. And I feel like now that I know her a little bit better, um, I might have had a different take on this headline before I watched her show. But like, she's really just like a silly, goofy kind of girl. And it's like not that serious right yeah i really um i think this is so funny no and like she's single and so she's gonna be dating people it's just like crazy that they happen to be competing against one another but it to her it's just like two guys that she's dating yeah and the show is so interesting i'm obsessed with
Starting point is 00:53:22 the apartment like to me the apartment is the fifth sister don't you need to understand more about the apartment layout why is it said upstairs downstairs so like brooks room is downstairs i just like how many bedrooms i feel like the other sisters are sharing because they don't even show They must. The other bedrooms. How long is the lease? Like, is it just to film this show? I feel like it is.
Starting point is 00:53:40 Yeah. So, because they all moved in in the beginning. Right. And they all, like, but they were all living in New York before, but then they're also saying, like, now we're in New York together. But it's like, have you been in New York? I just feel a little bit of confusion on some of the logistics, but I'm getting there. I just feel like they can't really say, like, they got a show and the show's premise was them all living together. So they moved in together for the show.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Sort of, but they do like keep it real on the show, like next week's, or not next week, the next episode I have coming up is at the Hulu upfronts because Gleb is going to be there. So they're like talking about the show. I love that. Yeah, it's very meta. So I watch the first two episodes and I feel like what it was sold as as like the sister show and maybe it gets more about the other sisters later on. Honestly, I hope not.
Starting point is 00:54:21 What it was sold as like, I get why they did it because people love like Kardashians, right? So they love like a sister show. But really the only worthwhile star is Brooks. like she's so dynamic she really can carry an entire show she's so funny like i really was not expecting her to be so funny when when she thought glad was like ghosting her but then it turns out he left his phone in uh um cab and she's like so happy that she's not been ghosted she like opens her robe and she flashes her sister and she's like dancing totally naked like she's just really funny um and i feel like she's really emotional in you know positive and negative ways and she just like lays it all
Starting point is 00:55:01 out so she's so happy it's like really kind of manic highs and lows yeah and maybe that was more reflective of the type of relationship it was or that's the type of person that she is but i just really like her like i find myself finding her just like so funny and to that end it really it's just like i don't need more than that it's nice that she has like the supportive characters on the show but i could see that they're positioning the other sisters to have their own like when the sarah ann and grace anne are they both anne i don't remember when they went to the modeling agency and that had like a fake fight in the street afterwards i was like okay this could have like gotten left on the cutting room floor like it was so cringed shook over that test shoot that she did and the pants
Starting point is 00:55:37 so i cut i turned up the episode in the middle of the test shoot i didn't get to the pants oh my gosh because sarah like gray sand's taking new photos for her book and like really trying to like put her best foot forward in the modeling world and sarah ann like goes to just like help be like her mentor and like gray sand is really wearing a horrible outfit like you're not getting booked you're not getting booked for anything wearing that outfit and sarah anne like it comes in is like that's terrible like you can't wear that you look like cheap and that's really funny poses are cheap like you and she's right and it's like obviously a harsh thing to say but like that shoot was a complete waste of time in those pants do you remember when like it was a trend for like so
Starting point is 00:56:12 short and it was literally 10 years ago leggings that had slits all the way down the side oh that's what she was wearing with like a bra and so there's obviously a weird dynamic because sarah ann is younger but she's having more success in the modeling space because she didn't take time off to go to Florida. Yes, but I've also learned in subsequent episodes, Grace Ann went to college and she got her master. She was pre-med. And so they just sort of glazed, so they're like Sarah, Ann and my girl, Mary, are having a conversation where it's like, actually, Grace Ann is a very smart person. She was valedictorian of her class. She was pre-med. She was like said to be a doctor. She's not doing that anymore. I have no idea why. But she's actually very dumb streetwise is what
Starting point is 00:56:55 they were saying. They literally talk so much shit about her. And there's this real strained between her and the other sisters because I guess they feel like they want to help her get to where they are because she was like going a different route. Why did she stop going down that route? I don't know. She also has this like boyfriend in Florida who's like very wealthy and so they're saying like, you know, she doesn't really feel like she needs to work because she'll like just get married. Fine. Yeah, like fine. And I was like living for Mary Bethann until she quit her job. Like that fake scene of her walking out of Deutsche Bank and not being able to like I think that actually that will work to their detriment because like the thing that makes
Starting point is 00:57:32 them interesting is like they have this weird upbringing and yeah one of them was premed another one where it's a woman at Deutsche Bank that's unheard of like and so now they're all just like becoming influencers yeah which is really predicated on the success of this show because I don't know how much like how much volume of modeling they were doing before this show because even I hadn't like heard like I'm sure they were doing some stuff and they were like micro influencers but the show was going to, like, make them big stars. And I don't think that it is. I think it's making Brooks a big star and people like the show,
Starting point is 00:58:00 but it really is just like the Brooks show. Because I looked last night, and the show's been out for a while now, like a week. They have, like, 40, 50, 60K on Instagram. It's not, like, blown them up to another level. It could take some time. I could see myself eventually, like, following them, you know? But I'm not, I'm not there yet. Plus, I feel like their Instagrams are more so, like, campaigns
Starting point is 00:58:19 and less, like, their daily lives. And I'm interested in following people's daily lives. Yeah, I also think that, and this is where I feel like the show, like, struggles a little bit. It's like, at least in the episodes that I've seen, like, all the other sisters, they just, like, sit around and, like, talk about Brooks, which is, like, not how sisters are. Yes. Even if one sister's famous. In the subsequent episodes, they sit around and talk about Grace Ann. Oh, dreadful.
Starting point is 00:58:41 And then also, like, Grace Ann has a birthday party, her 25th birthday. It's, like, at a bar during the day, kegs and legs, whatever. And, like, Brooke can't make it because she's not a shoot in the hampton. No, actually, you're really, like, ruining a lot of the show for me. Like because also with the Gleb stuff Like you told me all of it yesterday And I feel like I would have enjoyed it And I just feel like I would have enjoyed it more
Starting point is 00:58:59 If you didn't ruin it honestly Oh okay ruin it I was just like trying to recap it I'll try to like watch more over the weekend You never said like oh I'm watching Stop talking I know I didn't know Ben was gonna go to dinner And leave me to watch like something by myself
Starting point is 00:59:08 Got it okay yeah watch more I think I watched like two or three They went back to Louisiana for Easter Do you feel like the show is like sponsored by AI Because she's always using chat GPT I know and like she's using it a way that's like promotional. Yeah, I don't think it's sponsored.
Starting point is 00:59:26 I just think like they are using it a lot. And I think it's funny how they like talk about chat. Honestly, very similar to us. But they use it in a way that like actually makes AI look bad. Being like my sister's upset, how can I cheer her up? It's like girl, you don't know how to do that. Put on a playlist. That was a bad.
Starting point is 00:59:41 That was a bad moment. That felt sponsored. I just want to say that was a bad moment. Agreed. But not to spoil anything. You're about to watch it in fact. But like when they're in the car, they're in Miami. And Mary Beth is like, you need to text club because he like did something.
Starting point is 00:59:52 and she has chat write the text. Oh, that's a good use of chat. And it was actually like a really good text strong. When they're at her Hudson Jeans party and Sarah Ann tells a girl in the bathroom like a random fan who was so annoying, did you feel like she was a hired actor? Because she was so fucking crazy.
Starting point is 01:00:07 She should be very embarrassed. Yes. And then Sarah Ann tells this crazy lunatic that Gleb cheated on. Like seriously, that's, I'm surprised there wasn't, there should have been like a, and that would have been good for the plot. A big fight between Brooks and Sarah Ann
Starting point is 01:00:20 because that was like seriously not okay. Yeah. Like are you new here? Like I know you're new to being famous But we don't act like that We don't tell people are crazy super fans Our personal business that the world doesn't know yet No, it's crazy Sarah Ann has a lot of power
Starting point is 01:00:30 In the group for being the youngest I was gonna say what is the order? Brooks Brooks Mary Holland Interesting Mary Holland gives older energy Yeah Brooks but like the thing is Brooks doesn't really like fit into like the normal trope of
Starting point is 01:00:46 Because she's the most successful In this space that they're all trying to crack into Yeah and I guess like it's not always the old Like Kim was the second old. You know what I mean? So she's not only the most successful, but she's also the oldest. She's like a maternal figure. So Brooks, Mary Holland, Grace Ann, Sarah Ann.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Okay. Yeah. But it doesn't always. That meeting at the modeling agency was like genuine painful. You have to watch the photo shoot. You are seriously going to die. Sarah Ann was spot on like Grace Ann. We've completely wasted her time taking those pictures.
Starting point is 01:01:19 I can't figure out who Sarah Ann looks like, but she looks like somebody I know in my person. personal life. Yeah, I just saw a video of her talking and she was reminding me of someone, but when she talks in her confessional, she actually reminds me a lot of Kylie in the way that she speaks in her cadence. She's like very calming. In her confessionals, she's like very sad and of mind and like has good takes on everything. She's a really strong character. I agree. Yeah, and she's like very sure of herself. She's so beautiful. I mean, they're all so beautiful. She's gorgeous. We didn't even talk about the fact that they're all so fucking stunning and it's a pleasure
Starting point is 01:01:48 to watch. Yes. And they really have very strong jeans. Of all of them, I would say Brooks looks the least like the others, but I think it's just that she's had like the most stuff done and she looks like a little bit different than her OG self. Yeah, and she's blonde right now. Yeah, I need her to not be blonde. She feels like a brunette, a winter. I feel like she's had very good work done,
Starting point is 01:02:07 but I think that she needs to stop. Like, I think she's at the most that she can do before she starts looking worse. And I haven't gotten there yet, but I saw headlines. You know Brooks is on Ozempic. Queen. And they talk about it on the show. And her sisters, I think it's like a story.
Starting point is 01:02:22 where they're like, you're too skinny, like, stop. No, I love that. Yeah, love. Okay, let's dive into to Queenie and Weenie of the week, our final segment of the week of our final episode of the week, where Jackie and I like to wrap up the week, take a look at the week at a glance, give out two awards, Queenie of the Week and Weenie of the Week.
Starting point is 01:02:37 They're pretty self-explanatory and just giving a platform to a Queenie and a platform to a weenie. So, Jackie, without further out-d-do-da-do, would you like to go first for your Queenie? Yes, so starting with the positive, because a weenie struggled to material this week, but a Queenie came through this morning. And it's a Florida mother who gave birth to the hospital's biggest baby in its 10-year history.
Starting point is 01:02:57 Oh, my God, I literally sent that this morning to Shannon. I was like, you. She gave birth to a 13-pound, 15-ounce baby here in the great sunshine state. And that is queenie behavior. Agreed. That kid was enormous. I know. And her previous child, she said, was 12 pounds, 11 ounces, which is also massive.
Starting point is 01:03:18 But this was the hospital. She said the floor was like, Everyone was talking about it. Everyone was talking about it. And then it got me curious when I saw the story on People magazine, what is the biggest baby delivered on record? Like, that's in Florida.
Starting point is 01:03:32 Yeah, no, no, no. We could find out, like, let's ask. But I feel like we should do like the biggest baby in like America. What's the baby? The baby. I guess on record, but then we'll get like throughout history. Biggest baby ever delivered in America. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:49 Probably like 15 pounds or 16. That would be crazy. Wow, no. This is fucking crazy. The heaviest baby on record born in the U.S. was named Babe, born in Seville, Ohio on January 19th, 1879. The baby weighed 22 pounds. No epidural.
Starting point is 01:04:08 If you mean recent record, say the last 50 to 100 years, I can pull that up too. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you for that. Shout out to Seville, Ohio. Here are the few of the largest newborns in the U.S. Francisco Ortiz in 2014. 14 pounds. Avery Ford, Florida, 2015, 14.1 pounds. Paris, Halo, born in Alabama, about 13 pounds, 4 ounces.
Starting point is 01:04:32 Okay, so that's like you're in the big baby category. Oh, wait, hold on. What? Sorry, I was just like feed schedule type of things. Oh, oh, no, not more statistics. No. Who is your queenie? The Queenie of the week for me was Taylor Frankie Paul.
Starting point is 01:04:55 Like seriously injecting new life into a stale franchise. Like very few bitches could pull off what I think she's about to pull off. And it's giving Queenie behavior. I agree. I considered her as well. So excited for every for her. So excited for me. I'm going to be watching The Bachelor.
Starting point is 01:05:10 Like I'm back. Job well done. We're so cable coded. Cable coded. Except I guess if you watch the next day on Hulu, you don't have to watch commercials. Something to think about. something to think about. That is huge.
Starting point is 01:05:23 I'll see if it becomes like a real issue, but I think that it will. Yeah, I think so too. But it's like hard because people will, if it's airing on Monday, people want to hear the recap Tuesday, like... It's hard.
Starting point is 01:05:33 It's hard to... It's hard being an influencer. You try being an influential content creator. Weenie, I really... I don't have a weenie this week. Like, no one was exuding weaning behavior for me. I know you have three, so I was hoping maybe I could like snag one
Starting point is 01:05:48 if I felt compelled. Because you reminded me. Grace Ann just like, was giving weenie in the first few episodes of love by leader. That's what I texted plenty. That's what I thought she was going to say. No, I was going to say belly because I watched the summer I turned pretty this weekend. She was being such a fucking weenie. And then also I wanted to share the story that I went to lunch the other day and this girl was staring at me and she looked at me
Starting point is 01:06:08 and she turned her phone and she was listening to the episode of the toast. And I was like, oh, lull. And then she came over to me at the end. She's like, I'm so sorry to bother you. I just want to let you know. Like I am a Gen Z listener and we also hate Belly. So like you're cool and hip with us too. But do you hate, does she hate the show? Did I say I hate the show or I hate everyone in the show? Difference. Okay. So you like the show?
Starting point is 01:06:25 Like I don't hate it. Like I'm watching it. But like hate watching? Does it spark joy? No. Does it spark joy for her? No. Gen Z.
Starting point is 01:06:39 Well, I don't know. I just, she told me I was cool and hip. So she's actually queenie. So she's the queen. So belly was a weenie. Kendra Likari was also a contender for weenie. Grace Ann, yes, weenie like behavior. And then also this is kind of crazy,
Starting point is 01:06:52 but my we need of the week is ChatGBTGBT. ChatGBT has been failing me a lot. I feel like a couple times on the show I've used it. And it's taken like 45 seconds to give me an answer, which I know sounds crazy, but it's supposed to be instant. I don't know. I'm just like kind of feeling like I need to switch to a new program. No, I had a really like enlightening experience with Chat GBTbt a few weeks ago
Starting point is 01:07:10 where I realized like they're, it's so flawed. Basically, do you remember like over the summer people were throwing dildos at the WMBA? Yes. And like I saw like some things about. it, but I just didn't understand, like, what was going on at the WMBA. So I asked ChachyPT. I'm like, why are, not that they have a good reason. Like, what, what's with the dildos at the W?
Starting point is 01:07:28 Why are they throwing dildos at the women on the court? And Chachy B2 is like, they're not. That's fake news. And I was like, what do you? They were like, I was like, what do you mean? I see it here and here. And they're like, no, no, no, it's not happening. I sent a screen, I sent an article from like Yahoo Sports.
Starting point is 01:07:44 They say, that's a fake website. Oh, you're getting in the weeds fighting with chat. Yeah, no, I was sending citing things like, because I saw it, multiple times and like I just didn't like everyone was like doing like green dildos for W.A. I'm like it's what is this regarding? It's becoming like fake news. They're literally I'm send a link and they're like that's not a real link. I'm like it's on the front page of Yahoo Sports. And it just bears mentioning that Sarah Ann from Love That Nader. Her name is actually Sarah Jane. So to me it's Sarah Ann, Grace Ann, Beth Ann.
Starting point is 01:08:14 Beth Ann. Who's Beth Ann? George Bank. Mary Holland. It's not Mary Beth? I think it's Mary Holland. Mary Ann. But also Holland is the mother's name, so I thought that was like nice. Listen, I got a wrap. I'm about to pee in my pants.
Starting point is 01:08:32 Hold on. Hold on. We have to get her name. I really thought it was Mary Holland. Can you give me one second to confirm? Holland is the mom's name. I know, but Mary Holland either. Oh. Thank you guys so much for listening to The Tollas and Land and Morning Show.
