Starting point is 00:00:09 It's Jackson, Claude and every show the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off, swirly. It's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Wednesday. It is Humpty. Don't forget Tom someone you love. And speaking of somebody I love is Jacqueline Fulley.
Starting point is 00:00:31 Even though I'm inclined. Even though you don't love me? I'm inclined not to love you because I need to tell the class how you almost set me up yesterday with that book thing. Oh my God. It wasn't a setup. It was in earnest. You guys saw the whole thing. I went to text my sexy photo of me and my book to the bookstore.
Starting point is 00:00:47 And I didn't have the book thing with me so I needed the phone number. So I just Googled it. And they have a text service. Not so you can send them content. They buy books. It's like it's like a strand. You know they like buy used books. And so you like send them what you have and how much or whatever.
Starting point is 00:01:02 Imagine if I think God. I didn't send them like my sexy photo shoot of me and my book. I had no clue obviously. You saw me read it. You think in that moment like split second. and I decided to praise you. People pointed out in the comments that it says in big letters. They could see it on the camera.
Starting point is 00:01:17 We buy books. But like that could have been separate from text us a photo of your book. I didn't do it, thankfully. Two things can be true. They can buy books and also want sexy content for their Instagram. Yeah. Oh, I wish you would send it. I'm so glad I didn't.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Like I would have been, imagine you're like the person who runs the inventory. Yeah. Someone sends them like a random photo. of them like stunting. And the worst part is you're not even selling the book. You just bought it from them. Correct. No,
Starting point is 00:01:48 no, I can't help these people at all. But that could be good for your cardboard itself if you finish it and sell it back. Yeah, because you know I don't know my Kindle. And it's not so much cardboard. When it comes to books,
Starting point is 00:01:56 I don't mind buying a book. What do you do with it after? Well, that's part of this cardboard mentality. It is a cardboard and sweeping. Yeah. Because I should say, cardboard is not always financially motivated.
Starting point is 00:02:06 No, no, no. I do have nice things. It's about... It's about minimalism. Like, stuff less, it is also the sweeper mentality. It's not just about financials. I know that.
Starting point is 00:02:16 No, it's largely driven by financial. Of course, financials are a part of things. But it's just about stuff like that guy. From extreme cheap states. Who is the cardboard? He's the cardboard man. That's why we call you cardboard. Cochie.
Starting point is 00:02:30 It wasn't that he didn't have money. Well, that's the thing with the extreme cheapskates. It's ever a real financial situation. That's kind of like the drama on TikTok right now with Bradley on a budget. Do you know him? It was like, why buy a bed if I could sleep on this piece of cardboard? correct. Like, why would I buy a new pillow when the one I got free in college 20 years ago is still standing? It's still a pillow. That's what's going on with Bradley on a budget. I don't know if you know,
Starting point is 00:02:48 people started following him for like budget hacks and like a very quickly evolved. He's also like an extremely successful content creator now. So he doesn't like need to budget as much as he maybe once did. But he just actually like lives in squalor and lives in filth and like hasn't changed his toothbrush in 10 years and his pillow is disgusting. And some people have really taken umbrage with Bradley's lifestyle because it's not really people think it's more so like expressing some sort of trauma because like the way he lives is just really not normal and he also shares a lot like here's how much i made this week and he has like a million side gigs like dog watches and um cleans houses and also does content he does only fans he makes like 500 grand a year he does only fans yeah he's one thing about probably like he is an onion with the
Starting point is 00:03:26 toothbrush um no i think with like undies like he does like sexy content with old undies because he's not i mean i'm a purchase he's not going to buy fresh i don't know it's it is a business expense. No, but it's not about the money. Of course, of course. It's about the wastefulness. The mentality. Yeah. Yeah. So if I ever get to that level. Maybe he does like cardboard sexy content. I should sign up.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Or if he's not doing that, maybe I should be the creator I wish to see on Onlythans. Yeah. How you can like up cycle and be sexy. Be sustainable, financially conscious and sexy. Sustainable and sexy. Join me at onlyfans.org slash turdy. Turdy.
Starting point is 00:04:04 Tuddy. Yesterday, I went to home goods after the show and I just like how amazing yeah it was I just like I needed a pillow and I just like busyed about and I realize like I'm very much living my suburban dream here like because yesterday I just like went to work went to home goods went back to my home like busied around the home and I just feel like the goods from yeah from the home goods and I just feel like I'm very much I didn't even realize it like this is what my life would be like if I lived in the suburbs now that we're settled into swirly summer we're not like you know raging every day it's just like life
Starting point is 00:04:35 in the suburbs. Just going about our business. How do you like suburban life? It's a little slow. Okay. But I happen to enjoy this slow. Like I'm down for slow right now. Actually, sometimes I can't even keep up with the fastness of, you know, that bright
Starting point is 00:04:48 lights big city I live in. Yeah. So I am enjoying it. It's also good that you're not in the city. Yes. Between the legionaires. But it's also like, it's not typical suburban living because like I'm living on a compound with my whole family.
Starting point is 00:05:01 Yeah. It would be, I think, a little more boring. even more boring without me and like your whole family and like we have so many activities and like memories and like jokes loud and like raucousy and like I can't even take a nap because everybody's like being loud yeah which is beautiful of course of course
Starting point is 00:05:16 the beauty in the chaos of course of course so it's not like true but it's a small taste yeah and you're not a suburban girl you're a city slicker I am a city slicker although the more the more I live the more I understand like being drawn to the bucolic nature of a yard yeah I told you Ben and I went to our friend's house.
Starting point is 00:05:35 We just moved to scars. They're like the first adults in our crew to like leave and, and go to the outer burbs. And we left with like a yearning. Ben more so than me. Ben's never lived outside of the city. He, it was more so like the grill and the patio,
Starting point is 00:05:51 which I totally get. I mean, everyone has something, right? Right. Sometimes it's a pool that draws you. Sometimes it's land. Ben is drawn by like the barbecue and the patio. The barbecue.
Starting point is 00:06:00 And yeah, I wonder if he's, like having any more thoughts while we're here. We have a barbecue. We do. We've used it twice. Yeah, we have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:10 So what draws you? A lot more cleaning. What does you? Home goods? Oh, what draws me to suburban life? Let me think. Like, what's your favorite part? Big fish, small pond.
Starting point is 00:06:18 It's like, oh, that girl, there's an influencer who lives here. Whereas, like, if I'm just in the city, I'm like one of a hundred podcasters, you know? Yeah. But if I have, I'm like the podcaster of my small town. Yeah. It's just like a lot of attention and things like that. Yeah, everyone's like, turn it's here. Yeah, like, that's the girl.
Starting point is 00:06:33 And then when I'm like at the local grocer, I'm like, are you the girl with no job? Yeah, that's number one. I think that's what I find attractive. I was actually thinking about the no jobs today. In what sense? I don't know. I was just like thinking about like how I'm always like no job, no job. Are you?
Starting point is 00:06:48 I'm down with no job. I mean, you are a no job. So I don't know why you're talking about it. You're not in it. I'm like when I want you to change your handle. Oh, that's what you're thinking about? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not?
Starting point is 00:06:58 Which I've totally like moved on from. And I feel like any, I was actually wondering like what a brand. expert would say. We should get one on the pod. We should. I feel like they would say to keep it. Yeah. I'm not even totally opposed to swapping it.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I just think I'm giving up a lot and I'm not going to do that. But there are so many people when I think of like Ariel Charnas, like she slays. And we do still call her something Navy. The Blonde salad. Kiar Fragna. I feel like that's how you really become like a celebrity, like your name. Although I feel like everybody knows my name. Turty.
Starting point is 00:07:26 And I wouldn't even know what I, it's not like I have a good backup because I'm not going to go by Claudia Ash, right? I would have to go by Turty Loo Global or something. And then it's like I'm getting another stupid nickname. So I might as well just stick with the one I have. Do not do another stupid nickname. That was not the point of this exercise.
Starting point is 00:07:41 It would be Claudia Oshrey. No. Okay. Like I love my name. Obviously it's my name, but like yuck. Okay. Like I'm just a girl with a name. Girl with a name.
Starting point is 00:07:52 Girl with a name. No, I'm good with barrenad. No, no. And I've completely made peace within and it's probably for the best. And not to be like so drama, but like it does feel nice to have like a public persona and like my friends know me as Claudia you know yeah they well also like turdi is your public person right the artist known as turdy I'm cracking up someone said in the comments yesterday I was getting a lot of hate yesterday sorry wait why for cutting you off which I just did which I get comments
Starting point is 00:08:16 like that all the time more yes it must have been bad yesterday which is so funny because before the show started I was so tired that I was like you know what just like Jackie do it today like some days you're in some days you're out meanwhile the toast just like spark something in you when these lights go on no matter what you're feeling you just like figure it out but I was getting a lot of hate and I see the hate and you guys are probably right I will do my best and my best is probably not good enough I saw a comment like accusing us of like concealing like having made like a conscious decision to like not share our personal lives like go the Alex Cooper out because I guess like because we're together we don't like a lot of catching up to do yeah we don't like say things to each other
Starting point is 00:08:55 that have already been said but like they want to know what we had for dinner they want and like they want more pffb so okay sorry and I just want you guys No conscious effort has been made. No conscious effort has to mean. We couldn't share more. It's born of the fact that I can't tell you what I, I wouldn't tell you what I had for dinner because we had it together. But maybe we need to like.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Storytale to the third person. Storytell. And we've never really done that before. But like I'm down. We had pizza last night. It was really good. Oh, I'm so glad you liked it because like I sort of took charge with dinner. We ordered, which we haven't done since we've been here.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I'm not really into like delivery. We also haven't really talked about the fact that fork of July has been like a little bit different this year because actually the studio that we rent also has a kitchen. So I mean, dream come true. So Ben goes once a week, films all of his videos. I think he told us that when he subbed for you. Oh, okay. Well, it's been really good for our work-life balance.
Starting point is 00:09:37 And I think that in past years, we've sat here and talked about work of July at nauseam. But it really hasn't been that big of an imposition this year. Not at all. Except on the days that he filmed, like, we don't get dinner because Ben's gone all day long. Or sometimes he'll come home with the food that he... But he just started filming salad week. So I told them to just, you know, give it out to the people at the studio. Nobody needs his salads.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Sounds amazing. So I took charge and I ordered pizza, which everyone in the house is like not dying. ordering it in the Hamptons is like, first of all, not to be cardboard. It's so expensive. Like, it's insane. There's not a ton of options. And it's just like, it's not amazing. No.
Starting point is 00:10:09 So this was the first time we ordered in, but like we needed food. We had no meat to frosted. Ben was gone. And you know what? I became the leader that I wished to see in the world. I didn't even ask people what they wanted. I just, me and Ben had lunch at this place in Sag Harbor last week when I got my book, shopping local, also eating local.
Starting point is 00:10:24 And they were on Uber Eats. I was like, you know what? I've eaten it. I know that it's good. I know what we ate and I'll just get it for everyone. and I think I thought the portions were really small. I got like so nervous that I wasn't ordering enough food for everyone. Thankfully there was extra.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Barely. But do you know my- It's hard to be the person who's like in charge of ordering for a big group. Do you know my theory on ordering in is like it's a scarcity mentality? Yes. People will like the food you ordered more if there's not a lot of it. When you order so much food, it just all looks like slop. There's so much like extra.
Starting point is 00:10:52 And like it just looks like, oh, we hated it because there was so much extra. But when there's a finite amount, like people really appreciate the little that they get and like this scarcity makes everyone like it more even though we're maybe a little hungry it will go over better i've noticed that like at any time i order for the family when i order like heaps of food we just have like piles of slop and it just doesn't look enticing and when i order less everyone's like oh i really wanted some of that yeah okay well then i slayed because we loved it we had a good amount we had a good amount and like i ever almost fed but it was a lot of pressure like as i saw the driver approaching i was just like i know i didn't order enough food these bad
Starting point is 00:11:25 bitches are going to come from my neck but you know what nobody wants to be a leader no scarcity when you're ordering in scarcity mentality not if you're like hosting people but when you're ordering like for your family for your hungry family flip it on them okay well I didn't and everybody liked my even though like not having dinner on the same like I went to bed like hungry you know what I mean even though we had dinner but like like you said scarcity scar I did say so I woke up this morning and I was like Ben what are we having for dinner defrost the chicken we're having we're now calling them Chinese chicken nuggets because the kids love them the kids love them but it is chicken Rock.
Starting point is 00:11:58 Chicken rocks. And he is forking in our kitchen today. What? Yeah, because, and he's fine. He said, like, he doesn't have enough time in the studio kitchen to do seven recipes. So, like, he had a couple more he needs to do. So, but they pair nicely with chicken rocks. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:11 So it's like an egg roll salad, yum. And I think, like, an fried rice or something. An Asian salad, which we'll have with our chicken rocks. So I think tonight, tonight will be eating well. Good. I get it. You guys, I've been getting so many comments like that I actually look like sickly. I haven't been getting comments, but I do look sickly because my lipstick is,
Starting point is 00:12:28 like not on the show anymore. Oh no, sorry. I meant like malnourish. Like a lot of people are like, turning you's so skinny. Yeah. That's just what people are saying. And I'm just going to be applying lipstick the whole show.
Starting point is 00:12:36 I can't even watch these clips. Where's my lipstick? There's nothing worse. And we are wearing lipstick. But the lighting in here like doesn't really complement our lips. But in real life or like there's something deeply troubling about a woman not wearing lipstick. Not to be like a toxic.
Starting point is 00:12:49 And a face of makeup. Yeah. Oh, you can be bare facey or whatever. But like if you're wearing makeup, you need something on your lips. Uh-huh. You actually look terminally ill if you don't. So just remember. me if you see me slip in. Yeah, I have mine here too. And then I didn't make any more headway
Starting point is 00:13:02 and off campus, even though I've sort of like made peace with what happened. And people were saying, like, it's possible if you pause the show and don't turn your TV off that it just like sort plays in the background and it finished itself, which I think you guys like for the delusion. I think probably happened. I'm going to like just go with that. I would think it's actually safe to say that that's what happened. Yeah. But last night I just like wasn't feeling well. I like took a bunch of medicine to like work itself overnight. And I think it's, did. Like I had a headache. My eye was itching. My stomach hurt. So I just like took a bunch. I took Advil. Took a Zyrtec. You're not supposed to take Advil for your stomach? Just like. No, no. Advo for my head. Zyrtec for my eye
Starting point is 00:13:40 itchy. And then I took magnesium to sort of like settle everything. You know, just sort of top me off. A thousand percent. And it's cocktail. Yeah. And then it worked itself while I slept. I love popping pills. Love popping pills. When was that be profan invented? Like in a way that was easily accessible to people. Definitely like the the 60s. You're kidding. I don't know. I'm going to take out the definitely. I'm watching Mad Men, which is what?
Starting point is 00:14:06 50s. 50s, yeah. Okay. And they take aspirin, like when they're drinking alcohol. Okay. Aspirin is Advil. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Oh my God. I just like, I can't imagine a time without Advil. Yeah. I'm their number one cussed. I don't know. We talk about it like also modern solutions for modern problems. Right. Like they maybe didn't have as many headaches back in the day because there wasn't
Starting point is 00:14:26 so many, you know, toxins in the air. Toxins in the air. Toxins in the food. Toxas in the drink. But I think they still got headaches. Like the women would have to go to their rooms. Yeah, for sure. Also reading Abigail Adams' book.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Like when they, like the tea party, what's it called? The Boston Tea Party. You know how they boycotted the tea. And because they were putting like so many taxes on their tea that the women couldn't drink tea anymore. And it would be as if like we didn't have coffee anymore. So like she said she had a headache like every day because she didn't have her tea. And that's,
Starting point is 00:14:56 to actually when they started drinking coffee because they needed something, but they thought coffee was disgusting. And like obviously I'm glad that we are equals with men. And obviously like when we weren't, that was bad, of course. But there is something about how like women would just like, it was very common. Like you would need to be excused. Like what are your room? You're feeling faint. Like I'm one of those women. Like I know it's not acceptable for like me to just like leave in the middle of the day to go rest in my room. To go be in confinement. Yeah. But like I feel that I like that. And I wish that that was my truth, you know? Yes. And it would be socially acceptable because now it's just like, okay, Tertie, she never goes anywhere. She has to go laid out.
Starting point is 00:15:33 It's like, yeah, I do. But only if you're an aristocrat. Like, was that possible? Oh, really? Yeah, because other women, they're had to work. They're like, you know, manning the fires. Can't let the fire, the laundry. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:45 The children. The children. The animals. The home. They're watching the homestead. So I think only if you're like upper crust, could you just go to your chambers. Well, if we're like painting a picture, I obviously want to be upper cross.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Like, if we get to choose, I'm choosing the crust. Okay. And then you can go relaxing your chambers. In my chambers, being like, oh, where's Madame Claudette? Oh, she's relaxing in her chambers. Like, and I would always be like taking a tray. You know, in town and Abby, when they weren't feeling good, they like wouldn't show up for the big formal dinner.
Starting point is 00:16:13 They would take a tray in their room. Like, I'd be taking trays three times a day. You could take trays now. Yeah, but it's not the same because then I'm just like a slob who eats in bed. You're like, you eat in your bed? Yeah, I do. All the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Every day. every day. Multiple times today. Well, that's really what's been going on with us. We haven't been holding back. No, I hope that everyone feels we've properly opened up. And you all feel better knowing that, yes, I will be excused to my chambers. She will be.
Starting point is 00:16:40 And that today, what's in store for us today? We haven't maged in a couple days, I feel like we're due for a mage. You guys let my mage on table get wet and covered with bugs. I handled your mage on table. You did. You did. You did. It's beautiful.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Everything's reset. Right. We had to. And I learned along the way that you can watch. the oh my mahjong mats in the washing machine which I didn't do. Which I think like I don't know if I ever like thought if I could but I think I would have thought that. And when I took our new mat, I felt like that scene in the Grinch where like the Christmas tree burns down and they like bring out a new Christmas tree immediately. Do you know that scene?
Starting point is 00:17:12 No, I got to watch the Grinch. Oh my God. So when the old mat had bugs in wet and I like unfurled a new mat and I just felt like I had a new Christmas tree. Speaking of the wrench. On the box of the new unfurled mat. It did say machine washable. Oh. So like not even controversial.
Starting point is 00:17:27 They're advertising it. When I was at home goods yesterday, they were displaying Halloween stuff. And I heard the lady behind the counter said Christmas stuff comes out in two weeks. I saw Halloween stuff when we were there vlogging. Oh my God. And it's destabilizing. It is destabilizing. I'm all about like getting an early yes because I'm the type of person like Christmas starts September 1st for me.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Like let's go. It's July. Like that's insane. I know. And it's like I'm down to like look forward towards the end of summer like to with fall on the horizon. But like I just start. started my summer, don't talk to me about fall. And the thing is, I'm not not excited for fall, but like give it to me in August when it's like, summer's winding down. Yeah, no, we're still very
Starting point is 00:18:05 much like in summer swing. Like, summer just started. What are you doing talking about fall? And I'm excited for fall. Like, I love fall. It's a gargy pargy fall. It's going to be a gargy pargy fall. I just know it. But like, can I enjoy my gargy pargy summer for one minute? Yeah. And that was first week of July that we went to Home Goods. And then we're just like rushing our lives away. Because this is every year. Yeah. What if we just stopped? Smalt the roses. But marketers got to market.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I know. And I get it. I get it. I'm watching Mad Men. I get it. I understand marketing. You know, everything's on a schedule.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Yeah. I don't want to like rehash Mad Men because obviously it's like not a new show. But I just want to say the way I fucking hate that Peggy. I know. She's the worst part of the show. Yeah. I hate that Pete too. They're perfect for each other.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Like truly. Yeah. I was just like, ugh. I can't stand. Such a good show. I was being a Scientologist. Chloe Feynman leaving SNL.
Starting point is 00:18:56 I know. I saw. It's not like storyworthy. I had it. I think it was Monday. A lot of people don't know she's a Scientologist. I think a lot of people think she's a Jew. Feynman.
Starting point is 00:19:03 She's a Jew who believes in Scientology. She's a Scientologist who believes in El Ron Hubbard. I saw that and I didn't choose it as a story because like, okay, she's leaving SNL. Like, so she's leaving. Yeah. We'll see what happens. Like being on SNL is just not a guarantee.
Starting point is 00:19:19 Mm-hmm. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it's not what it used to be, I feel like, where if you left, like you were automatically a star. I mean, so many things are. not what they used to be. Without the truth. You know, nothing really is what it used to be.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Chilling. But there's, what's the new? Well, let's dive in and find out. You want to dive into the stories? I do. Okay. Without further, do-da-do. It is time for the fast-five stories that you do-do need to know. And the fast-five stories that you need to know are brought to you by Amazon Music.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Oh, yes, and I love Amazon music. I really, really do. You sure? How much do you love Amazon music? Claudia, I was looking at my phone this morning and realized my home screen is actually embarrassing. I have a different app for everything I'm listening to. Music in one place, podcasts and another, audiobooks somewhere else. It's just too much.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Same. Research, the Kingdom. You do not have to live like that. If you're constantly bouncing between apps just to find something to listen to, there's a better way. Amazon Music. I've been using Amazon Music Unlimited because it is all the music, podcasts, and now audiobooks all in one app. It has made things so much easier, a very sweeper-friendly mentality over Amazon Music. The digital sweep. And speaking of audio books, I did finally start Project Tell Mary by Andy Weir.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I'm so happy to hear that. It's so, so good. I just finished it. And there were multiple times where I'd get home and just sit in a driveway or maybe take an extra lap around the block because I could not stop in the middle of the chapter. The narration is incredible. And you know how picky I am with audiobooks dirty. It's totally toast certified.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Well, you have sold me. That's exactly the kind of book that makes errands feel exciting. So whether you're listening to your favorite playlist, catching up on podcasts, or like Jackie, completely disappearing into an audiobook, having everything in one place just makes life easier. Amazon music, music, podcasts, and audiobooks all in one app. Download today to start listening. Today's episode is also brought to you by Square. So thank you Square for sponsoring today's episode.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Square is the system powering pretty much like half the places that we go. If you've ever tapped to pay and thought, wow, that was fast, it was probably Square. Whether you're selling lattes, cutting hair, detailing cars, or running a design studio, Square helps you run your business without running yourself into the ground. Today's episode is also brought to you by Primal Kitchen, a company that's on a mission to change the way the world eats. They were the first brand to avocado oil to sauces and condiments. They were the fastest growing salad dressing brand in the U.S. We love them because their sauces and condiments are made with real food for the real food that we love. So I think when a lot of people try to eat more whole or even like eat healthier, they do not consider their dressings, their sauces, their condiments, which are just full of crap, especially like sugar or chemicals or just not whole. And Primal Kitchen saw that and they just created literal dupes, but that are so much better
Starting point is 00:25:50 for you. So they have salad dressings. They have a ranch like, oh, I'm not a sauce person, but I'm like a ketchup condomin person. People are crazy about sauce as my husband. And so a lot of people are willing to give that up and I get it. So Primal Kitchen just came out with better versions of them. They taste so good. Actually, there was a thread in one of our Facebook groups of people saying like, what are your
Starting point is 00:26:06 favorite Primal Kitch. People are obsessed. They have like cult-like followers. People love the ranch. I like the yum yum sauce on my burger bowls That's one of my favorite dinners The kids, I love using their ketchup for the kids It's like sweeten with honey
Starting point is 00:26:18 It's made with better for you ingredients And they would never know They have Caesar dressing Everything's made with avocado oil It has no seed oils It's sugar free, there's no dairy It's made with real ingredients That we recognize
Starting point is 00:26:28 And it's the best addition to any salad or wrap I love their mayo Yep, be it's a funny thing They have dressing sauces, condiments pantry staples all made with real ingredients You can find Primal Kitchen dressings sauces and condiments at your local grocery store or on their website, which is primalcitchen.com. It's primal kitchen and it's made for real food.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Thank you, real, turt. You're welcome. I'm incredibly real, much like Simon Van Campen. Yes, you are real. That's why those allegations, we just so unfounded. There's alleging what? That we were in being real. Once again, like, we just have to come on here and defend our character and beat the allegations.
Starting point is 00:27:03 We're always beating allegations. Yeah. So that's just so out of nowhere and so uncalled for beyond. Our first story in the city aired its reunion part one last night. A lot of trauma. I feel like more drama from the reunion than I heard the whole season. Yeah, Amanda and West are making headlines because she was asked again about their relationship by Andy. Yeah, she was interrogated about a couple of things.
Starting point is 00:27:25 One, that video of them spitting in each other's mouth. She did clarify that it was an olive. Does that make it better? I think it makes it worse. Like, I didn't think that it was actual spit. No, but I thought, yeah, like maybe the photo just caught them at a weird angle or. But like, I figured there she was like bird. mouth feeding him something.
Starting point is 00:27:41 So, okay, things that to know it was an olive that doesn't change anything. Andy was pressing her a lot about like the status of their relationship. They are monogamous. They do not say, I love you. Because Andy was like, are you in love? And she was like, I don't know how to answer that. And someone was like, well, do you say I love you? And she was like, not really.
Starting point is 00:27:55 And they're like, not really. And we're like not. So she was like they say ILY, like, illy. That's so immature. This is such a bad look for her. I know like every time they sit down with her, it's like this is the real man and she's going to be honest. She talked about how in the reunion that she was not her best self.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Even this time she was like, she wish she showed up differently for the reunion. She naturally went into defense mode. And then like, okay, so you have another chance here. And you're still coming with this immature bullshit. You're telling us that you say, Ili, like, nobody can feel anything for you. And she'd be better off saying, listen, it's a little bit awkward because we're in the burgeoning stages of a relationship and we haven't said those words to each other yet. Especially with someone who's like so love averse, like commitment phobic. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:35 So just be honest with us. Just be like any relationship. It's been, not yet. It's been three months. We don't say that to each other yet. So it's awkward to be asked that. But I do see that's where it's heading. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:44 No, she can't speak. Like, she then did blame Kyle because she was talking about her performance at the reunion. She was like, well, when Kyle and I fight, like, my defense mechanism is just to totally shut down. And so that's what happened at the reunion. So she's just like sort of blaming Kyle for her inability to defend herself. I don't feel like she. Oh, my God. I don't know why I like have to like just come to her.
Starting point is 00:29:04 No, it's like I don't know. I don't feel like I have to defend her. but I just, here's a defense. Because she's pathetic. She is pathetic. It's hard to watch. You're just like a human. And even like when I think about West Mandeval and people always want to talk to me about it like offline.
Starting point is 00:29:18 And like really my biggest thing is like I can't believe a person could be so stupid. As we said, a generational fumble of goodwill. Like she had the world at her feet and she threw it away. It was all about to happen for her. To hook up with a guy who was so not committal and so not worth everything that you're giving up. So I can't understand the stupidity. And then I see her like this. I'm like, maybe you're stupid.
Starting point is 00:29:39 No, the stupidity is like a consistent thread throughout this whole saga. Maybe you are stupid. So when she's saying that about Kyle, I don't feel like she's like, you know, trying to blame him. I think she's just trying to explain away. Like here, even though it's not right or it's not good, like this is what happened. Yeah. And it's just hard to imagine. I mean, I guess time wise when she filmed in the city, like it hadn't fully come out yet.
Starting point is 00:30:02 But it's hard to imagine why someone would keep putting themselves in these positions. I will be shocked if she continues to do this show. Even though I guess like the worst is behind her, things will move on. And it's like, it's all over now. Yeah. They're not on Summerhouse. They have this new show. It's not West.
Starting point is 00:30:16 It's just her. It was the big focal point of the season. And like the show will move on to someone else and something else. Yeah, but like if she's on it again next season, it will be her and West if they're still together. And you know what? It should be. Yeah. I think Summerhouse will suffer without them.
Starting point is 00:30:30 I do. Yeah. We're just going to get the same like Jesse and Sierra will they, won't they again. Like, I'm good. Yeah. Danielle chimed in saying she was disappointed to learn that they were still together. Because it did seem like in that aftermath episode of Summerhouse that, like, she might be thinking about leaving him. She said, I honestly hate that you doubled down and are pursuing this relationship with him all the way, going to Italy with him.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I know you had to make a decision one way or the other. I just wish for you that you would take some time just for yourself and be alone. Like, I'm torn because I hate Danielle. But these days, actually, like, I feel for her. She, her baby's in the NICU. Yeah. And I just like seriously like that's my mama queen right there. So yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:08 You just say what you have to say. Say what you have to say and like that's an obvious point. Yeah. Thanks. I think she feels like because she really was like a part of so much summer. How soren it sucks that like this season. Is this the second season she's not on or the first season she wasn't on? Was she on last season?
Starting point is 00:31:22 She might have been like more friend. Okay. Well like the first season she's gone from is like this explosive becomes this global. The global news story. So she wants to get her piece in like Dara had her moment at the reunion. I know these people too. Yeah. I'm also a part of this.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Sure, sweetie. Say your peace. Yeah. That sucks. Yeah. So at least this seems like the most recent, even with the aftermath, it was like, well, this is null and void because we saw them in Italy together. We know that she made the decision to continue the relationship. This is where we know them to be at right now.
Starting point is 00:31:50 They're together. They don't say I love you. They're monogamous. They're going full steam as head. And it doesn't seem like she's like changed really at all. I don't want anyone on YouTube who's watching to think that I'm drinking milk. Can I just clarify? It says boxed water.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Oh, okay, okay. I'm drinking water out of a carton. Like, this is so crazy. It is crazy. Why do you will be doing all that? I know that it's like for the planet. But you know what this water tastes like? Milk.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Box. Milk. Yeah, that's really not a way to drink water. There's a Best Buy date on this. I don't know water could expire. Maybe it's because of the box. Maybe it doesn't keep it fresh. Also, there's been a lot of drama with like Lindsay and Whitney.
Starting point is 00:32:33 and Lindsay posted like a really long statement yesterday. And I don't know what happened between them, but based on the statement... She had said in the reunion that she cried for six months about something that Whitney said. Whitney basically, like, she said over the course of the union that Lindsay used the mom card a lot. And she had said it because they went on a trip and Lindsay was like, well, I want the best bedroom because like, I'm away from my kids or whatever. And Whitney, before Lindsay said anything, she was like, I didn't, I misspoke. Like I meant it when I said the thing about the room, but I shouldn't have used it as like a blanket statement for your behavior. And then Lizzie, like, couldn't let it go.
Starting point is 00:33:04 She was like, I cried for six months when I heard you say that. Yeah, it seemed like from her same. And she said something in retaliation that she, like, almost regret. Like, and she was just trying to, like, give context as to, like, where she was coming from and how she was having a really hard time. And even though, like, she is someone who seemed so strong and would, like, never let anyone see her weak, she's just explaining, like, what the last year was like for her. And it's like, even though we knew all of those things, her, like, laying it out,
Starting point is 00:33:27 everything compounded. Yeah. Two shows custody battle. I mean, she makes it look smooth. but it's probably not because when is it ever? New mama, breastfeeding, hormones, learning, first one in the friend groups have a baby. Like, she's had a year.
Starting point is 00:33:40 100%. She never appears, like, weak or vulnerable. She's just like Lindsay, Mama Lindsay, and she always has it together. But she is a person. I give grace. 1,000% when like the strongest. It's also shocking that like Whitney's the one
Starting point is 00:33:53 who kind of rattled her. Whitney's so timid. Yeah. But when the strongest person that you know is like, hey, I'm having a hard time. Like, can you just be nice to me? like listen yeah yeah because they're not saying they don't want to be saying that it's not like victim they don't always go to the victim card it's true there are a lot of people who it's like i actually
Starting point is 00:34:10 can't feel bad if you're like how are you always a victim yeah always victimizing himself always like always like want to be seen in a position of like weakness and like because that to them is strength i guess but not lindsay so whatever she's saying just give her grace i agree i don't know what happened but i'm too lindsay yeah probably that feels right history is it any indication. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, so I think all and all in the city like did well. People liked it. I didn't keep up with it, but like it made news and ways. Yeah, yeah. And there is room for it on Bravo. I think that Summerhouse, like the graduates, we were sort of waiting. And this is a good solution. I think they have too many cast members. Yeah. And a lot of them are like genuinely unimpactful.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Yeah. Obviously they have to expand outside of like the five Summerhouse people. But it was a lot of people. Like they were all crunched into Andy's Watched Evans Live Studio. It's like a crunchy ass reunion. Even this like paragraph, there are so many names. Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cook, Amanda Betula, Danielle Oliveira, Ian Hevey, Andrea Denver, Lexi Sundin.
Starting point is 00:35:11 I feel like they didn't like... I know. We keep going. I'm counting. Nick Barber. Yvonne Nager. Georgina Furzel, Whitney Franze, Whitney Franze, Kenny Martin, and Gavin Mosley.
Starting point is 00:35:21 That's 14 people. That's way too many. That's too many. Well... Good job. I think a good first season. Yeah. The place looks great. Our next story, Olivia Rodriguez has a new man. I know. And he's just sort of like a Wall Street power.
Starting point is 00:35:39 He's a Wall Street power player. For a field hockey player. I see. There's like such limited internet about him. So they went to his LinkedIn. And here's what we know about Olivia Rodriguez's new boyfriend. Because pictures surfaced online of her and a mystery man named Julian Kroonberg's at the airport. No. Most definitely not. If I showed you the spelling, you wouldn't be asking. Because Kroonberg sounds Jewish. Oh, no, no, no, not the R-G-H.
Starting point is 00:36:08 But he, according to his LinkedIn, went to Brown University, studied applied mathematics and computer science, and previously worked as a banking analyst at Goldman Sachs. He also played for the U.S. men's national field hockey team from 2018 to 2020, and he speaks Dutch and French. And she literally told us this on her album, I'm not dating any guy with a fake job This is a real job
Starting point is 00:36:32 And she was actually asked in an interview Like what did you mean by that And she was like everyone in L.A. has like a fake job Yeah so she went to New York She found a real job They just went on a trip to Iceland together So I picture of him of the airport coming home He I think like now works like a private equity firm or something
Starting point is 00:36:47 But like don't she give you like a little bit of like Like Tommy vibes Like that she wouldn't go for a guy like this Oh very interesting I mean all these celebrities Communists. Being a celebrity is inherently anti-communists. So it's just like it's this performative thing.
Starting point is 00:37:03 It's just lip service. It's just not real. Yeah. I think there are a couple of celebrity communists who are like genuine to the movement and like really walk the walk and talk to talk. I don't think Olivia Rodriguez is one of them because she is sort of with her Livy's HQ, doing like merch collabs with like,
Starting point is 00:37:17 please. Yeah. No. And I mean she's also like young still. You know what? Everyone's a communist until it comes to having a boyfriend. Because like what do you want from a boyfriend? Like someone who's really rich.
Starting point is 00:37:26 someone who's big and strong who like sort of enforces those gender stereotypes. And like would a communist really care if he has a fake job? No. Because according to communist, like all jobs are fake. Right. Right. And we all have the same job. Everyone's a communist until it comes time to like have sex.
Starting point is 00:37:42 Yeah. Or like, you know, do a merch job. June album drop tours, ticket prices. A thousand percent. Everyone's a communist until it's time for dynamic pricing. Right. Please. I just could see that like down the road like being an issue between the two because like if he
Starting point is 00:37:55 works in like private equity or like, hedge funds. Their core, their core principles. It's like money, money, money. And like he will make so much money. And like if, if she is like a little anti-capitalist, that could really come between them. That's the only like red flag I'm seeing because otherwise I love this. I think he's also so cute. Very handsome. And I love like the whole going for normie businessman, Beau. Obviously like you're not that normal if you have like a high power finance job. You're an upper crust. Upper crust. He can go to his room with a tray. But he's still. But he's still. But he's still. But he's still. like just a regular guy. Yes. No, I think
Starting point is 00:38:28 what do they mean? I think it really all does bode well. They also like they look they look like they will be a cute couple together. I also have been listening to her album a lot. And me as well. It is so good. It is. And I'm going to go and say it's album of the year.
Starting point is 00:38:44 I think that Life of a Showgirl will be nominated and it should be nominated in the sense that it had like a ton of commercial success and we talked about it a lot. But it's not the best album that came out this year. I think that her album is. I don't, I have to take a look at the landscape with like what other albums came out this year I don't fully remember but I she's got my vote the year is young
Starting point is 00:39:02 but I agree when did the nominate like when does the era end like I feel oh actually maybe soon because remember like T Loas came out in when Tiloas came out October? I was like maybe going back more to Florida so like yeah I think it was like in the fall okay October 13th okay classic um and it wasn't eligible for that years Grammys. Right. So like maybe it does end in like August, in which case the year is not young. And what else did come out this year? Right, that's what I'm going to say.
Starting point is 00:39:33 Let me go check my like songs. What albums are eligible for this year's Grammys? This is where Chad is like. You know who I love? I don't know if she put out an album or I'm just getting a spattering of songs. Cianna Spiro. She just put on an album and yeah, she'll be up there. She's probably going to be like a best new artist. Are you a likely album of the year contenders according to Chat?
Starting point is 00:39:55 Taylor, should have a life of a showgirl. Rosalia Lux, Morgan Wallin, I'm the problem. I've been listening to that a lot. When it first came out, I thought it was bad. It's not bad. And it's not. It's really good. Miley's something beautiful.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Best of luck. Lord Virgin. These feel like last year. Justin Bieber's swag. It always feels like last year because it is. But Sabrina Carpenter Man's best friend. Came out last... Bad Bunny, Debbie T. R. Mass, photos.
Starting point is 00:40:19 That was last year. For the 69th annual Grammys, which would be held in February, 2027, albums which have been released between August 31st, 2025 to August 28th, 2026. Okay, the year is not young. T. Loas is eligible. But they're saying like Lady Gaga mayhem.
Starting point is 00:40:38 That feels like, wait, August 20, 26. It's 226 now? Yeah. I feel like Chad has bad info. I agree. I'm like trying to look through my liked songs. Like, Luke came up out with an album.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Oh, Ella Langley. Elalangley. Oh, Ella Langley, I think, will be a best new artist contender. If she hasn't, I think you can only be nominated for best new artist three times. I don't know if she's ever been nominated, but she's relatively new. I feel like she might have been nominated once. She, I think, could win. Also, her album, I do think will be nominated for a country album of the year and she will win. And then album of the year too, but she will lose. I agree with that. I love her. Thank you for reminding me. She's having such a year. She's having
Starting point is 00:41:19 like a moment. And like for us, it is butterfly season. Have you been checking on the cookies? No, I didn't know that. I forgot that they were like these like living things in the dining room. Yeah. That like refused to come alive. You should like look at them before they before they sprout wings because it's like crazy to see what a real cocoon looks like. Like we talk about cocooning, you know.
Starting point is 00:41:38 We live. Cacons. Like life goals. They took a tray. But you should look at what they're doing in there. It's pretty cool. I just like never go into the dining room. We have like this formal dining room that's genuinely storage. Yeah. Because we all just eat in the kitchen. And it's a butterfly and there's like sprits boxes in there.
Starting point is 00:41:53 Yeah. I just, I never make my way into that part of the house. But I'll go. Check it out. before they cocoon like i think you'll want to see like the the life cycle it's butterfly season i'm fighting my wings she's a couple of like true also um just like that i'm back to song of the year song of the year song of the year excuse me well that was like no i know i choose in texas she she what a da da da oh i just want to be her so bad it hurts so bad it hurts so bad it hurts so I love her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:28 So anyways, congrats to Olivia Rodriguez. I'm really rooting for her in this relationship. Oh, I thought you were talking about album of the year. Me too.
Starting point is 00:42:34 And album, based on this discussion, yeah, it's hers to lose. I like her album a lot. A lot. And it's like, I like it so much
Starting point is 00:42:42 and I'm kind of bummed because it's like bummer music and I find myself listening to a lot of it. And I'm like, that's like not my vibe, but I like it so much. And you know,
Starting point is 00:42:49 I saw like an interesting, which is like very Taylor Swift coated of her. The Cure, which is one of my favorite songs. She talks about how in a different song. I think the whole album's about Lewis Partridge
Starting point is 00:42:59 and how his favorite band is just like heaven. That's a band. His favorite song is just like heaven. And so now when you go to search for the cure, like if he's ever going, Olivier Rodrigo will come up instead of his favorite band or in addition to his favorite band. Oh, that's funny.
Starting point is 00:43:13 It's like a cutesy little thing. That's just what the streets are saying. The other Livies. Yeah, that was like when people said Taylor Swift named her album Life of a Showgirl because when you look up the life of Pablo, you get to Lois. And I just want to say I'm saying this is
Starting point is 00:43:25 like obviously a proud Jew ass, but the life of Poplow is like one of the best albums ever made. I was listening to say something crazy. Like I actually think it's better than the life of a show girl. Like it is. It was before he went so nutty. And it's like, of course he's a crazy person, but he is like a talented artist. Yeah. And he let the crazy get.
Starting point is 00:43:41 And I think that that album is a masterpiece. It is. I was listening to my playlist on Shuffle yesterday and like Monster came on. And it's just like so good. And I just, there's a lot going on. You know, and it's like if we really stopped engaging with like everybody who hates Jews, like, this is our job. This is our, you know, we just be talking to each other. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:04 So we just, we obviously select certain people to exclude. But we're just doing our best. Our next story is actually really crazy. Real House. What number? Because you love to like number three. Number three. But I know like number three is a safe space for you.
Starting point is 00:44:16 It is. It is. It's like actually a really good space for me. The Real House is of New York City season 16. Cast Photos trailer and Premier Date are set at Bravo. So yesterday the trailer dropped for the Real House of. of New York City, new season, a couple new cast members, including Erica Hammond, Daisy Toy,
Starting point is 00:44:31 Haley Glassman. My best friend. And Carol Radzwell, I think the headline of the trailer is that they are discussing the Epstein files. They're discussing the Epstein files. They're discussing love story, Carolyn and John John. And she is a real housewife. She has an apple in the trailer.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Yeah, she is in the picture. Yeah, I think that a lot of people, it was reported at first that she was friend of, which made it even weirder. But maybe she just, like, brought so much to the show. Yeah. I was dying because they take a trip to a private island that I've been to. So Erica is a friend of mine. Her husband has like a private island like a kind of like a Richard Branson type thing. And they do a girl's trip there. And they take a trip there and they complain about the food. Oh, that's funny. How was the food as someone who went? I don't remember it. So like it was good. Yeah, you would remember. I don't remember like painting it. Right. Right. And you know I'm like I never let myself get hungry. So yeah, I'm curious. Like this does look good. I think the shakeups were good. Of course. I'm like dying, dying to like learn more about Haley Glassman. Because obviously like I feel like I'm going to like her.
Starting point is 00:45:32 Really? That just would be, except I keep getting her confused with one of the other new girls. And I think maybe I like the other new girl. Daisy Toy, the makeup artist who does like makeup for Martha Stewart. Right. And that's why Martha Stewart's in the show. Yeah. And then Erica.
Starting point is 00:45:44 No, all the new cast members are good, including Carol. And it's crazy that they're going to like talk about the Epstein Files. Now, in the trailer she maintains that she's never a part of like Chats. And who was it? It seems like she's having one-uncle one conversation with Cy. But whoever brought it up, like, thank you. Well, also she's like in the street filming and like people are shouting up scene files at her. And it doesn't seem like the person who brought it up to her is accusing her of anything.
Starting point is 00:46:05 You're just like bringing it up. Bringing it up. Yeah. Yeah. And I just want to say, I don't believe that Carol was a part of an international sex trafficking ring. But I would like her to explain like what it was like to be friends. Like she is on record friends with Galane Maxwell. And I think a lot of successful people were.
Starting point is 00:46:22 And a lot of them were friends with her in a sinister way. And a lot of them were not. I don't think Carol was involved in like the sinister way, but you were friends with someone who is now like the face of the biggest. So like just tell us about that. Yeah. Yeah. And like what was your friendship like?
Starting point is 00:46:37 Did you ever like have like an inkling that she was maybe up to no good? Or was like she like a perfect actress? And like kept those things separate. Carol said she never went to the island. But anyways like very topical stuff. A thousand percent. It's actually crazy that Carol is back. That she would do it again.
Starting point is 00:46:52 At the time where we're talking about the Kennedys. and the Epstein files. But I guess like really, assuming she's like innocent, what does she have to lose? Like going on the show, going back on the show. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:47:03 You know? She has nothing to lose. She really just stands to gain because right now everyone just like associates her with Elaine. Yeah, she could use some new associations. Yeah. So that'll be good.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Now it is time for our fourth story. Do you think I'm ready? No. You're never ready for the fourth story. That's brought to you by Fashion Pass. We've been Fashion Pass girlies for years, literally since 2020. So in case you don't remember,
Starting point is 00:47:24 it is a clothing rental service. but what sets them apart is that they actually have cute clothes. So there are other clothing rental services. It can be so hard to find clothes in stock that you actually like. With Fashion Pass, that just will not be a problem. The clothes come in like new condition, so it feels like you're shopping on your favorite retail site. It is a toaster own toaster run company, which we love. They have the best brands.
Starting point is 00:47:42 Like they carry Farm Rio clothing, Love Shack Fancy, for Love and Lemons, free people, things that you actively want to buy. I think a lot of times we go on clothing rental services because the concept of renting clothes is so great. But the problem is like it's always grandma tunics. Like it's just not cute. or it's not in stock, and Fashion PASS just aimed to fix that. It's super versatile. You can rent statement pieces for weddings, vacations, but also just chic everyday stuff like
Starting point is 00:48:02 date night tops, work looks, copy runs, anything. The best part is you get 10 items a month for $125, two shipments of five items each, so you can swap out your picks. You're not stuck with the same items all month, and there's no planning your life a month in advance. And if you do end up wanting to buy something, they do let you buy directly from
Starting point is 00:48:23 fashion pass and you get like a great discount so just like a little cardboard tip of the day go to fashion pass.com use code toast to get your first month of fashion pass for just $55. This is the best discount out there so all of our fellow cardboard cogies and everyone else run to start renting. So that's fashion pass P-A-S dot com use code T-O-A-ST to get your first month of fashion pass for just $55. Today's episode is also brought to you by branch basics. So if you're someone who pays attention to what your family's eating, what's going on their skin, what's in their environment, you probably also care about the ingredients in your cleaning products. So when you start paying attention, you realize that a lot of conventional cleaning products contain things linked to hormone
Starting point is 00:48:56 disruption, skin sensitivity, respiratory irritation, repeated exposure, even when they're marked to feel safer natural. And that's because in the U.S., companies are not required to disclose every ingredient in the formulas. And even if it looks like they do, they may use generic words like fragrance on the list which can actually legally mask hundreds of harmful chemicals. So the more you look into it, the more you understand, that way you clean with, your kitchen counters, your dishes, your clothing, all has the potential to shape the health of your home, more than you ever realized. And a lot of people, that becomes the moment they start craving something simpler, more transparent, and that's where Branch Basics comes in. Branch Basics is disrupting the cleaning space in a few really intentional ways.
Starting point is 00:49:30 They fully disclose all ingredients on their packaging, which is something most conventional cleaning brands still will not do. They do it in a clear, accessible way. Everything is fragrance-free. It's made with human, safe ingredients, designed for everyday use across your home. It was created by three women who are all moms themselves that wanted something that they could actually trust in their own homes and around their families. So their line of surface cleaners is built around a powerful plant, a mineral-based concentrate.
Starting point is 00:49:53 You simply dilute the concentrate to different ratios for different cleaning needs. So your bathroom, your kitchen, your counters, your windows, and more. They offer dishwasher tablets that are microplastic free. Once you get the peace of mind that it provides, you won't want to settle for anything else. So the good news is that branch basics is now available everywhere you shop. So that's Target.com, Amazon, and of course, branch basics. And if you go to that website to get the premium starter kit, you can get 15% off at branch basics. That's code T-O-A-S-T for 15% off, the premium starter kit of branch basics.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Today's episode is also brought to you by Nutrafol, the number one dermatologist's recommended hair growth supplement brand. Starting point is 00:50:45 As somebody who did the GLP1, probably the number one question I got was like, were there any consequences for my hair. The answer is yes. And if you're on a GLP1, obviously it's an amazing journey or any sort of weight loss journey, a change in diet can trigger hair issues. I had like shedding. It was very upsetting. So find the outshine fruit bars in freezer aisles at retailers nationwide. Thank you. Retailers. Thank you, Turtaleers Nationwide. Thank you, Turtaleers Nationwide. I just reapplied my lipstick if you wanted to do the same. like a little. No, but I just like, I didn't, I wanted to remember to tell you. Okay. So that we could all have lipstick on. And like for everyone, it's good. They're going to like probably be dying for a link. Let me just like, this is the Fenty Beauty gloss bomb. Oh, wait, I have somebody to tell you. Oh, tell me. This is the Westman Atelier. You know, the streets are saying, we keep clean liquid lip balm. The streets are saying, like, things are maybe going south at Fenty Beauty. I saw that. They're discontinuing one of their big foundations. I don't think it's happening.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Okay. What do you think? I think that when I look at the landscape of like makeup brands in general and also celebrity found in makeup brands, I think that it's not at the height that it once was, but nothing stays high forever. No, and also like sometimes not everything needs to be like ratata all the time. Yeah. Talked about all the time.
Starting point is 00:54:04 Like you have your faves. You rebuy them. And I think a lot of people have fenty beauty faves. I'm not even like a huge fenty beauty fan, but I have like three or four products of like two or three that are go-to. I have a lipstick. I have, um, The Diamond Bomb Eye Shadow. So, yeah, it's not like a totally irrelevant brand.
Starting point is 00:54:21 I think maybe they've taken a dip from where they once were. In terms of being talked about, but you're not going to be talked about forever. And eventually you just settle. When it comes to practical application of policy, I think they're one of the best brands when it comes to making so many shades of concealer, foundation, like super inclusive, not just of like, you know, light to dark, but like neutral, warm. I think people really like often find great matches.
Starting point is 00:54:43 So, yeah, I think it's a good brand. I don't know why people are saying that. but that's just what they're saying. Yeah, maybe they have so many products. They're scaling down a little bit to, like, you know, increase revenue or whatnot, but I don't think it's going anywhere. Me neither. It's also, it's a Sephora company, right?
Starting point is 00:54:58 Mm-hmm. Like, they're not at Alta. I don't know. Sephora, like, creates a lot of these brands. Like, make it by Mario's partially rare beauty. And they become exclusive to Sephora. Yeah. So do they not sell Fentia beauty at Alta?
Starting point is 00:55:11 I feel like that would be crazy, but maybe they don't. Crazier things have happened. Our fourth story, Jennifer Aniston has exited the I'm glad my mom died by Jeanette McCurdy book adaptation. So Jennifer Aniston is going to play the mom. She was going to be in the movie and I guess she would be the mom. Okay. Oh my God. Who else would she be?
Starting point is 00:55:31 I don't know. I mean, there are like other characters, but. But like if she's taking a lead role, which she's Jennifer Aniston, so she would. She's the mom, yeah. She is out of the Jeanette McCurdy television adaptation of her hit memoir. I'm glad my mom died T. That's a bummer. That would have been good for her.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ the show is still being worked on and scripts are being written. However, we're told at some point Jennifer backed out due to scheduling conflict. Sure. The show has had a rocky development. Oh, have they? Last year, it almost fell apart. The show was announced in June 2025 with Jennifer attached as an executive producer and starring as the fictional version of Jeanette's mom. Is Jeanette like playing herself or is she involved at all or she just gave her book, her story to someone?
Starting point is 00:56:07 I'm sure she gave the story is involved not playing her young self. I think like, you know, she's so attached to. it. I imagine that it's just difficult. If there are difficulties, I would imagine that it's from Jeanette. Like, it's her story. It's so personal. And, you know, they always change stuff because when it becomes a TV show, it's not really about what actually happened. It's about making an entertaining
Starting point is 00:56:26 TV show. And sometimes you have to change that. And so I feel like if there is trouble, it's because of that. And she would just be better off. Like, giving it to someone selling it, if you want to make it into something and not being involved, unless you're going to act in it. Yeah. One of the directors who was like slated to do, it dropped out due to creative differences with Jeanette.
Starting point is 00:56:45 Outlet reported that Jeanette was opposed to him trying to make the show more comedic than the memoir. Again, like, it is for television. Like, we have to, although the book,
Starting point is 00:56:53 like, is pretty snarky. Like, her tone, it's not, I mean, it's obviously dark because they cover a lot of dark things. But she has like a funny-ish.
Starting point is 00:57:02 Well, he wants to make it even funnier. But I also understand why Jeanette's so attached to it because it's her story. Her life story. Her life and soul into it. But it's either, like, give it to the showrunners and let them,
Starting point is 00:57:14 do what they do or don't, you know? Or don't. Yeah, I think writers being involved is always bad. I think Colleen Hoover would agree. Like, the only movie she's ever been involved in was like a shit show. When you are right, when you write a book and it gets option, like, just go. Or don't sell it. Right.
Starting point is 00:57:32 If it's like personal to you, you don't want it distorted. You don't want people to like think of the story that way that's like not true. And these are real characters. So like that makes it different too. With Colleen Hoover, if we think of, you know, Lily is different than what she was, it's like, It doesn't really matter. I feel like that was the only book that she ever wrote that was like super personal because Lily was based on her mom.
Starting point is 00:57:49 So maybe that's why she wanted to be attached. Yeah. But still, it wasn't like a one to one true story at all. So like she distorted the character a little bit and let the movie makers do the same. But I understand if Jeanette feels like I don't want the world to see me this way or my siblings or my mom like if that's not how they actually were. In which case, don't do it.
Starting point is 00:58:10 Yeah. Don't do it. Maybe she's learning that. Maybe. You know, it's her first big book. This, like, might not. And people forget that, like, before the book, she was really, like, not doing much.
Starting point is 00:58:22 I don't know how she was, like, paying her bills or anything, but she wasn't a working actor. She wasn't a working writer. So this, like, revitalized her in so many different ways. So I get why she's attached to it. And, but you just got to, like, sort of shit or get off the pot. Yeah. It seems like this.
Starting point is 00:58:36 Although I don't love the idea of being turned into a comedy. Maybe Jeanette was right for that. Yeah. I don't know. But now Jennifer leaving. I just think it's, like, it's probably never going to get off the ground. Yeah, which is a shame because it was an insane fucking book.
Starting point is 00:58:49 They haven't even announced the new director. You know, speaking of directors, I've been watching a lot of the press for The Odyssey. And obviously, so much of the press is like just talking about what it's like to work with Christopher Nolan. And it's literally insane that Josh Pack was in Oppenheimer. Like, I feel like he doesn't get, he doesn't talk about it enough. It's like such a thing to be in a Christopher Nolan movie. You should press Ben to press him about it. Yeah, now that like it's very top of mind.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Yeah. And I feel like when it was happening, like Ben was telling me, I, I didn't really understand why it was a big deal, but now I understand Christopher Nolan. Like, I get why it's a big deal. And, like, that's crazy that Josh was in it. Yeah. I need to see the Odyssey.
Starting point is 00:59:25 I just don't know how logistically, like that would be. And, you know, you're really supposed to see it in theaters. IMAX. Yeah. Well, of course, in theaters. IMAX. They say it's, like, not even worth seeing it, not in IMAX. It's just a completely, like, lesser experience.
Starting point is 00:59:37 Like, I saw, like, a grid of, like, the different screens on, like, a standard screen versus, like, IMAX 3. Also, I heard, like, IMAX-4D, like, the chairs are shaking. I don't need IMAX-4-D. I just, I want something in the middle. Yeah. You know? Middle crust.
Starting point is 00:59:53 I prefer upper. In this case, I don't need upper. I'm not going. I heard, like, Lincoln Center is the best theater to watch. Oh, really? Yeah, there's, like, one Lincoln Center and then, like, one in California. Those are, like, the best ones. Oh, interesting.
Starting point is 01:00:04 I'm not doing all that. Okay. But I'll do more than just, like, the standard. Fine. I need widescreen even. Of course. I don't know what our options are out here. There are actually a couple of movie theaters, although I believe they're all standard.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Right. So maybe it will have to wait. Our fifth and final story, Harry Stiles canceled a concert last minute due to mysterious health issue a month after collapsing on stage. Wait, Harry Stiles collapsed on stage? A month ago? Yeah, in England. That's not crazy that we didn't know that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:38 Not to bring everything back to his flop era, but that's crazy. I know. This is very mysterious. He canceled his Tuesday concert in Sao Paulo due to a health issue just one month after he collapsed on stage in England. Live Nation Brazil wrote on X, we deeply regret to inform you that Harry's style show scheduled for Tuesday, July 21st, 20206 has been canceled due to a health issue on the tour. Tickets were refunded. A rep for Harry said that the Friday show is scheduled as planned. However, this hasn't been his first bump in the road.
Starting point is 01:01:07 He choked on water while performing his whale spit move at Wembley. That was in England. And then he was seen in the social media video falling to the stage floor. He stayed down while he tried to catch his breath for several seconds. Oh my. He appeared to tap his chest as well to try to alleviate
Starting point is 01:01:22 his discomfort. Then he got up and waved to the audience as he ran off stage. Oh my, I hope it's okay. That's like so scary. Yeah. I didn't much like Sandhryvo. I knew none of this. Yeah, I wonder what the health issue was.
Starting point is 01:01:35 It's like stopping him from doing a show. That's a big deal to like not do a show. Especially for like a young male. Yeah. More than just like the common cold. Of course. Usually they say I can't talk. I mean, I got a liar. Yeah. And that like Harry hasn't said anything. It's just Live Nation so far.
Starting point is 01:01:52 Weird. Yeah. Very weird. Very weird. Those are the past five stories. Feel as though you needed to know. I had a good time. Me as well. Hopefully I didn't talk over you too much. What was your favorite story? Oh, no, that's straight. My favorite part was we were talking about like what, you know, like going back to our chambers and taking
Starting point is 01:02:11 Trace. That was your favorite part. What was your favorite part? My favorite part was, there was something in the beginning. What were we talking about in the beginning? So many things. Oh, like ordering in. No, no. Bradley on a budget. Oh, I love cardboard co. G. But no, I forget. I'll, I'll, I'll have to remember. Whenever we finish the show, I like, can't remember at all what we spoke about. Like, we're still in it, though, so I can't remember. But the second we wrap, I won't. When we have to, like, choose a title at the end, I'm like, I don't even know what we said. Yep. What was said here. year at this show. And I just want to say I watched yesterday's episode, obviously read all my hate comments, but I did really love the way my hair looked. So my $85 blowout, like I will be
Starting point is 01:02:49 returning. You should. It looked so great. Yeah. It was, it was really good. It was like kind of giving like a panty commercial, like the layers, the shine. Yeah. Do it again. Yeah, I'm going to. Maybe you'll come. Yeah, I would love to do that. All right, you guys. That is our show.
