It's Jackson, Claude, and every show the fast five things you need to know.
We'll start your day off, swirly.
It's the toast.
I sound amazing.
Welcome back to the shows and happy Friday.
It's a day of Celebration, because it's Friday, which is amazing.
We're back, Jackson, Claude.
We've got that smelly BSC out of here.
Like, Bab, works for me.
Hey, Cojourner, what's your truth?
How are you doing?
My truth is that I'm so glad you're back.
though like it really was kind of kismid that you couldn't make yesterday's episode.
It was kind of perfect.
We needed to hear from Penn.
Yeah.
Like it just,
I like when things work out,
you know?
Yeah,
that really worked out.
How are you guys doing like two days post next win where you got to be in the arena
for the stark moment?
And like you can't put a price on that.
Yeah.
And if you watch the vlog,
which is now out,
it is by being like,
there's like whispers out Oscar nominations.
Like everyone is saying that's one of the best vlogs ever.
I agree.
I worked on it like kind of relentlessly for days.
And it's very emotional.
It's available now.
It's a 45 minute vlog.
Like yeah, everyone's obsessed of that.
And I do reveal, I do, you know, a little price transparency,
which is a philosophy I am against.
I don't, like, obviously.
We know.
We know.
But I just hate this like thing that you have to share.
But I did.
But it's like if you want to make compelling content,
we're all talking about the numbers,
everyone wants to know the price.
Like you can share one thing one time and nobody's going to judge you,
especially because they,
the game that you spent it on.
Priceless.
But it's priceful.
And it's all in the vlog now on Patreon.
Patreon.com slash your toast.
Highly recommend you checking that out.
Can't wait to check that out.
We really missed you yesterday.
And there was like, yes, so much pop culture to talk about from the game.
But there really was like, I'm such a, like I drink beer, you know?
I'm so into sports.
My whole for you page is like, we're analyzing those last couple of seconds of the game.
I watched this video.
I don't know if you guys know,
like when they threw in the ball,
Cat tipped it, which is amazing.
I just saw that Cap tipped it.
But do you know that Cat also utilized some fans
to help him, like courtside fans?
How so?
Cat asked them to move forward to give the
spurs player just like less room
because he had to throw it really far.
With that amount of time,
the only thing to do is to lob it in.
So you have to throw it really far and tall.
And the less room you have to like move that way,
the better.
So Kat was like encouraging the court side fans
to just like come a little closer.
Oh,
Interesting.
Sneaky, sneaky.
Does feel illegal.
Yeah, I didn't want to like,
blow up his spot.
I didn't want to be a narc, but like,
yeah,
a little cheaty, but it's fine because they're like punching people and like being
really aggressive.
Well,
we talked about that yesterday as well,
just like the behavior.
Because no one,
like I feel like I keep equating this to the Eros tour just in terms of like
its impact on culture and ticket sales.
And people were not acting like this at the ERIS tour.
Like people really need to calm down.
I,
I think in terms of like,
the dash for tickets.
It's similar to the ERIS tour.
I think that's where...
But it's like cultural impact on a gender?
Uh, no.
I think this is similar.
I don't.
I think the comparisons end at tickets.
Like it's...
No, I think also like the way that the city that the event is taking place in,
like becomes, you know, like Taylorland and all the mayors are getting involved.
And the local businesses are thriving.
Like, it's similar to that.
It's similar to like an NBA finals, I would say.
Or a Super Bowl.
It is an NBA final.
No, I know, but it's like similar to the thing before it, which is an NBA final in the sense that it's also an NBA final.
Or the Super Bowl where there's two teams competing and the city really prospers from the competition.
Yeah, but like every like all the bagels are blue and orange.
Like everyone is like the dot cakes are blue and orange.
Walking around, everyone is wearing blue and orange.
Like it reminds me of the Erestoran in the sense of like it became Swiftville.
I think that happens in cities.
They made it honorary.
No, this is crazier.
It's crazier.
It wasn't even happening in San Antonio.
This is crazier only because it's happening to the biggest, greatest city in the country,
so it's happening on a bigger, greater level.
But I think this is what people in Philadelphia experience and...
No, it's different.
Chicago.
No, it's bigger and better, but it's similar.
I think they were doing dot cakes or the trendy equivalent when the Eagles won.
No, I'm telling you, it's like different.
Okay. But maybe it's because I'm here. Like I'm really experiencing it firsthand.
Yeah. Well, I'm so thrilled that things are really picking up steam. And I'm so excited for me because
this means for sure Kylie's going to the next game. Timothy will not be going to a game without her
ever again. She's a good luck time for sure, even though Kylie doesn't do away games. Like that's why
this will be tested in their relationship. And she has a plane. She can do an away game.
The Knicks are in a good spot because the next game, like they don't have to win. If they do,
they're NBA champions, which is just very excited.
exciting. It's not a home game, even though they kind of do better on the road. So best case they win,
worst case they lose and then come back and win at home, which is even better. I'm kind of like rooting
for that, but I know fans will be so devastated if they win, if they lose the next game. Like,
yeah, if they lose the next game, it's just like, it's delaying the inevitable, I think. Yeah, but it would be
so parjian iconic for them to win at MSG. Yeah, I'm actually afraid. Are you rooting against them
for the next game?
So I have a lot of conflicting feelings.
Part of me wants them to win at the next game.
Like get it over with, I actually am afraid of what could happen in the city if they do win here.
Like, people are really being nutty.
And if they do win, if there is another game, like, I am going.
And I'm going to have, like, I don't know how I'm going to get out of there.
Like, I'm scared of having to leave.
Like, you know what I mean?
Yeah, yeah.
I was already a little afraid when we were leaving the first time.
But I think the ruckus doesn't start to like, you know, an hour or two later once all the normal.
People go home to their families and jobs.
So I'm a little afraid of like the damage and like the what will happen.
Yeah.
Yeah.
New York's not really had like a big moment like that.
Like we always make fun of other cities for like going so ham and being like criminals when it happens to them.
But it's like it hasn't really happened here.
So that's what Ben and I were saying.
It's like, I'm always talking about those domestic terrorists in Philly.
Right.
And Ben's like that's happening here.
But those are not Nix fans that does not represent our city.
That does not represent our team.
I'm like, well, that's what the people in Philly say too.
Maybe they're so.
Maybe they are right.
Either we're both wrong or we're both right.
Yeah.
Oh, I want to shout out.
I'm obsessed with my hokas.
Like, I love wearing my hokas.
And I'm at a place now where I have to like keep replacing them because they just get so dirty.
I love a white sneaker.
I love a cracker.
I love a white sneaker.
And I threw them in the wash.
One of my friends from Mahjong told me just throw them in the wash like with some like stain
remover spray like spray them and I don't know why I never thought to put my shoes in the wash.
Oh, I put my shoes in the wash.
Look how fucking white my shoes are.
I'm actually wearing Rothies that are advertised as shoes that you put in the wash.
So I know that there are machine washable shoes.
Yeah, and that's Rothies.
But yeah, I put a lot of, I put the kid shoes in the wash.
We just like wash shoes.
Yeah, it was just a little scary because Ben went out, oh, to dinner with Jesse Solomon last night.
So I was home alone.
No, no, no.
Let me just tell you.
I put my sneakers.
I have to take it back to you.
Just wait.
I put my shoes in the wash.
I put my shoes in the wash.
I'm home alone.
Oh, wait.
You thought it was going to like blow up your house.
No.
And I like forgot about it.
They make so much noise.
Is there an intruder?
Is the building collapsing?
It was so scary.
It wasn't until I was like following the sound
That was like, it was my big stupid sneakers.
That's so you to scare your own self.
I scared myself.
That you did by yourself.
Tell me about Ben's dinner with Jesse Solomon.
Ben loved him.
Like he came back and he was just like, what a nice guy.
They had an amazing dinner.
You know, Ben, of course, like, it was like a date.
Ben drove him home.
I'm like, why did you get home so late?
He's like, I had to drive downtown even further to drop him off.
I was like, oh, okay, taking out your girlfriend, like dropping her off at home.
Ben said he was just like such a cool, normal guy.
and they have some mutual friends.
Like he's a Jewish kid
who went to University of Miami.
They actually have quite a few mutual friends.
Yes.
Ben was like asking him,
you know,
very inspired by his music career
and just like the journey in general.
Ben was like,
Ben,
it wasn't like a tea filled sesh, you know?
Yeah.
I didn't feel like
Jesse was wanting a teafeltsh
like I feel like he just needs a brother.
A friend.
Yeah.
And like normally in those situations
I send Ben in with like a list of demands.
With like things I want to find out,
questions to ask.
But this time I was just like,
be a shoulder.
Be a friend.
And they had a great meal.
You know, those two kings went to the corner store,
trendy little kings.
And I think they had a great time.
I hope they'll go out again.
And Miss Margot was spotted with Jesse Solomon
at the Knicks watch party.
Yeah, Margo went to a watch party.
Jesse Solomon was there.
And she sent us a picture.
I was like, oh, so you're dating.
And the next morning we were like, well, what happened?
She was like, we just took a picture.
And then like went on with our respective groups.
And we were like, okay.
I wish I never asked.
Yeah.
Like in my mind, when I saw the picture,
it's like they went home to.
It's like we've finally connected.
Everyone says we should be together.
We finally met.
And now we are.
It's probably like how Kelsey Ballerini and Craig Conover feel when they see each other.
But no, it was just like very much a photo op.
Well, we do have so much to discuss today because I do want to talk about like the things that I saw from like my perspective of the game.
And then also Love Island.
Love Island.
I miss like the last 10 minutes.
But last night was a filler episode.
They literally told us it was a filler episode because of the app crashing.
I think tonight was the scheduled recoupling episode,
but because they had to delay the voting and everything,
it's now tonight.
I was fine with it.
I liked last night's episode.
Yeah, it was fine.
I think they got to know, like, people's personalities and, like,
just see their conversations and their connections.
And, like, it was fine.
It really didn't bother me.
We'll do a TV recap, so I don't want to get too much into it,
but it was kind of the first night.
I was sort of, like, getting annoyed with Anaya.
She's, like, too, like, much of a yes woman,
like, Melanie, she's like, she's like,
a good friend will tell you you're being crazy.
a good friend, we'll say, well, no.
She's just, and she was one who was like, I'm going to go up there.
And I was like, okay, go.
No, Melanie is like a yes person.
Melanie's ruining an I-SQ score because their friendship makes her look bad.
No, but also that that's the person that you're close to.
I'm judging you.
100%.
I did want Melanie to go upstairs.
Yeah, I respect Casey, like trying to keep the order in the house.
But like this is a show.
And like when the people, when crazy people do crazy things, like that's the best part.
Let them.
Let them theory, you know.
Yeah.
You need to read Mel Robbins.
cracking up. We'll do a full TV recap. We also have Queenie and Weeney. It's Friday. We have stories.
My girl's back. I really missed you. Like, I miss you. It's so much work. It's so much work doing
the stories and the ads. Like it's just, it's really two person job for as much as we complain about
like splitting the paycheck. Yep. It's true. I do. And I do complain about splitting the paycheck.
And I want to let you know, like, I do resent you for that. But like we both earn our keep.
It's too much work. It's true. It's true. Did Ben have fun?
I think so.
Yeah, I think so.
He's so funny and so dramatic.
I actually can't handle it.
His childhood trauma?
Yeah.
I guess that is a funny conversation that they talk about on the good guys.
Like Josh sort of had this like kind of not like dark, but like definitely challenging
childhood and more so than the average.
And like here's Ben who's just like so normal.
His parents are still married.
Okay.
Like it's insane.
The two could not have had genuinely, even though they're both like chubby Jews from New York,
they could not have had more different upbringings.
And so, yeah, the hardest thing in Ben's child was the Knicks.
That they kept losing.
Ah.
I mean, yeah, it's giving, you were never homeless.
It's giving out of touch.
You were never homeless.
Speaking of Rory, and you said earlier that you could go for a cracker.
Has anyone been eating more crackers since Rory?
I have been.
She's made them, like, she reminded me, like, how delicious a cracker is.
Like how a real, and when she,
explain like it calms her it like helps it with nausea like it's so true and i'm very stabilizing a cracker
they are stabilizing and i've been craving crackers more since she resurfaced that i have not been
eating more crackers but i'm a hundred percent open to the idea of it let's talk about crackers in terms of
brands like obviously a ritz cracker is supreme it is good but it's it's very rich i agree it's and it's
really not one you can just grab a cracker and be stabilized. It's like a whole journey because you
have to have a sleeve. I really love a saltine. I love a saltine. It really, they are medicinal.
So when I was pregnant, yes, they are fully medicinal. They have medicinal properties. Even when you're
sick with a cold, like you have some with soup, like it has a medicinal property. Yeah, it's like
taking a zoffron, actually, a premium saltine. But you know what I'm really into that I don't
see getting enough love. I do know they're really popular and like people always buy them for their
Charcucci boards, but I don't see them getting enough, like, social media hype and, like,
in the culture is a club cracker.
Oh, I like a club cracker.
It's kind of a blend of that savory ritz with the classic salty saltine.
Yeah, I bought a box of, like, gourmet assorted crackers, like, two weeks ago at the
gourmet shop, and I've just been sort of, like, going through them.
And I don't know that I would have bought it, if not for Alicia, honestly.
And they've really been a value ad in my life.
And everybody loves the cackar.
The kids love a cracker.
I don't love the gourmet crackers.
I happen to think that like the lowbrow mass American like supermarket brands do it better.
You would have liked what I bought or like a water cracker.
I hate those.
I didn't say that.
You would have liked what I bought.
I know you.
Gourmet cracker.
I don't know.
Like the, I'll send you a picture.
You would have liked it.
I like a cracker that's just like a little bit more buttery that like borders on like a biscuit.
You know?
These had notes of butter.
They did.
Well, it depends which one you picked up.
But they did.
notes of butter.
Yeah, I like butter.
You would have liked them.
I know you.
I know Kogi.
One episode behind on Rory, they just announced the trailer, the reunion with a trailer.
It's two parts.
I think for a first time franchise, getting like a two-part reunion is kind of a sleigh.
Yeah.
I need to catch up.
I will do that.
I also started a book.
And it's like, it's such an endeavor to start a book these days that it's like kind
of annoyed at the book that I started.
I don't know where I found it.
I think I saw it on the New York Times bestseller list.
It's called London Falling.
It had like a really, you have. What did you hear about it?
Like I saw the cover. I don't know.
Sorry, I didn't hear it. I've seen it is what I meant to say.
But like where do you even think that you've seen it?
Like book talk maybe?
Yeah. The subheader I thought was really good.
A mysterious death in a gilded city and a family search for truth.
Chilling.
But it's like, I'm going to finish it because I'm like 30% and it's like pretty dense.
It's just, it's not swirly.
Oh.
N-S.
I don't read books these days.
I actually don't engage in any sort of media or hobby or even person that doesn't have
like insane swirletude.
Yeah, I understand that.
And even when I'm like venturing out of swirly waters, usually there's a swirl to be found.
Like if I'm reading historical fiction, swirley edition.
But this is just like crime in history and it's just like dense and there's not a swirley
in sight.
I'm painting the town's swirl.
Like I only exist in my like world of swirl.
Yeah.
No, no, no.
Like you know how Stasi has a show on Hulu called House of Stasi?
Yeah.
Ours is House of Swirl.
It's World of Swirled.
World of Swirl.
I like that.
Swirl meets world.
Swirlwind.
What about Swirl meets world?
I like it.
It's like Earl meets world.
Yeah.
Oh, let me tell you about some niche drama that like you will love.
Because we were just talking about how like there's really randomly a pop
culture podcast like from the New York Times that like is like like it's kind of like I feel it
encroaching like I feel like it's everywhere now we said it's a music podcast that's once a week
well it's not a music podcast because one of the hosts is like kind of in drama I guess he was
tapped just because like they're like sort of industry plants they get like tapped for stuff it's like a
pop culture podcast hosted by two older gentlemen like okay um there was a panel uh featuring all the
stars of the pit which was like a big deal of the show has like a really big fan base and it was
like this huge event and I guess like one of the hosts, one of the hosts of popcast was the host of
the panel and like, I don't know if he was drunk or something, but he was like kind of acting
insane and inappropriate and like no while actually like had to fire back at some of the
questions. Like I saw a bunch of clips. It was deeply uncomfortable and like the stars are on the stage.
Like actually rolling their eyes. How do you not send me those clips? I'm at a place in my life
where like I physically cannot download and send. And a lot of the times, a lot of the shit I want
to send you when I go to the effort to download it. Like the person has that set.
off every video on TikTok is actually not downloadable. That I know. That I know. And it's becoming
increasingly more difficult to like remain in contact with you when you have this hard line.
I'm being honest. It is a hard line. But I'll just say you don't have to DNS me everything.
But like when our peers are flopping, you better fucking send you that. Okay. That's me to see
information. I, and the thing is I send you so much garbage on Instagram.
Because it's so fucking easy.
It's so easy.
Yeah.
No, honestly, considering how much we send each other on Instagram,
if I also had TikTok, like we would never get off our phones of sending each other's stuff.
It sounds like a dream.
We're talking all day.
It's good that we have this hard line, but you do need to go the extra mile for when the peers are flopping.
That's it.
That's all I ask for it.
Okay.
So if you see it again, like please send it my way.
If you see something, say something.
I would love to know like exactly what happened here.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'll do my best.
Thank you so much.
One of the things I want to watch this weekend is the new Jennifer Lopez, Breckold's teen,
like Netflix rom-com that I've actually heard is amazing.
I also have heard that they are hooking up.
Like this on-screen romance is off-screen.
I ship so wholeheartedly.
And I've seen Cleeps clips from the movie.
They're like doing that.
I've seen Cleeps.
I've seen Cleeps.
Netflix is like releasing a lot of them on TikTok, which is smart.
I've basically watched the whole movie vertically.
And it looks so good, like cute rom-com.
I'm down.
You should watch it.
I know.
I still need to see the devil wears Prado too.
When's the next Nick game?
Saturday.
And Ben's not going?
No.
Even if the Nick's secure championship.
Yeah, I asked him.
Like I said we could go.
It would just be like difficult because we would go like as a family.
But I wouldn't really feel comfortable bringing Rubel to the game.
So it's like then like me and Ruby are in San Antonio like randomly.
It doesn't make sense.
Could Ben just go by himself?
I told him that he could.
I think he feels good about the fact that he went to one away game, one home game, and they won both of them.
You know, he went to two insane games.
The first game was the first game ever.
And then the fourth game was the historic game.
Like, seriously quit while you're ahead.
Yeah.
But if they're back at the garden, you'll go to that.
A hundred percent.
And I told Ben, if we're back at the garden, like cardboard is out of office.
Yeah, the budget doubling.
Like I will.
We're doubling the budget?
Yeah.
Oh my God.
Was it like, was it the best money you ever spend?
It really was.
And like, I had the best time.
And like, seriously, watch.
It must have been how Ben felt at the era store.
Like, he had a really good time.
But, like, seeing someone you love be so, so happy.
Like, actually, like, a child.
Like, I imagine when it's like, like, taking your son or your daughter, like, their first concert or their first sporting event.
Like, euphoria.
I had a great time, too, just like, it was an amazing game.
But, like, seeing Ben so happy.
Like, seriously, he felt free.
He was screaming.
He was singing.
Like, he was just insane.
It was amazing.
That's probably how Kylie felt.
Absolutely.
And Sydney.
Yep.
And all the plus, and Hame.
Did you talk about Hame?
We talked about Hame.
We talked about Selena's like breakdown.
I'm sure we'll talk about like the follow up today.
Selina's following up to herself.
Yes.
And yeah, we'll talk about it.
And so you talked about Hame.
Like actually no.
Like we said that they were there and that's really all there is to say.
Yeah.
And I said that I liked the sheriff.
I did like the shirts.
Except like only Taylor's, like Stevie Nix.
Like it was perfect.
Nix.
Like Nick Cole Kidman?
No, it doesn't work.
I guess.
But then they were, you know, I think it was E posted like a bunch of other shirts that they
could have done like Nickelandria, which would have.
Nikki Blonsky.
Nikki Blonsky.
Yeah.
I need that chart.
Better than Nicole Kidman.
I like nickel back.
Yeah, it's cute.
But I just like, I thought Taylor's was perfect.
Like, first of all, she's like Stevie Nix is her queen.
That's her best friend.
It's Stevie.
Knicks. Like it's just, it says Nix. Like it's perfect. Okay, because it says Nix. Not to be critical.
So what else is Nixelodian? That would have been a good one though. But if we're not doing, like
Nickelodeon. That would be cute. Josh Peck could wear that one. A thousand percent.
Let's dive in. We actually have a lot to do today. Yeah, we have a lot to do. Okay. Without further a
do-to-do here are the fast five stories that you dida-do need to know. And the fast five stories that
you need to know are brought to you by Love Island, UK. Can I pull you for a chat? Let me try
Am I plea for a chat?

does it better than the Brits, so you can join the host

island of Mayorka. They're serving up all the
love, all the lust, and of course the cheeky
lingo, with so many prop-of-fit singles
competing to stay in the villa. It's
anyone's guest, which couples will stick and which will give
the ick. This season promises more
than love more love triangles, more fanny flutters, and more bombshells than ever before.

Plus for bundle subscribers. Terms apply. Today's episode is also brought to you by TaskRabbit.
Oh my God. I fucking love TaskRabbit. When your to do list keeps growing, TaskRabbit is ready to
help. Just pick a trusted Tasker and they'll show up to get it done. Taskers are often
available to help same day. I love TaskRabbit. I have had
furniture assembled, art hung, TV hung, light bulbs changed.
Like, if you just don't have a handy husband, which is my plight in life, you don't need one when task
taskers in your area.
So it connects you with skilled taskers in your area for moving, furniture assembly, home repairs,
yard work, mounting, and more.
I feel like everybody goes to TaskRabbit when they need furniture assembled.
It's like an easy one.
But there are so many things you can do on TaskRabbit that you might not even think moving.
Taskers have assembled over 3.4 million pieces of furniture.
They've completed 700,000 home repairs and handled over a million.
million moves in counting. You can search for a tasker based on cost, skill set availability,

Our first first
story, Taylor Swift tears up while thanking her family during Songwriters Hall of Fame
acceptance speech. So last night was the Songwriters Hall of Fame 2026 induction ceremony took
place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. And Taylor Swift was of course honored
and she gave a 21 minute acceptance speech. Additionally, she left the house three times
this week. I just think that's crazy. It's a busy week. You know, it always when it rains it pours.
It always rides up being busy before your wedding. And good thing you're looking so fabulous that you want
to go to everything. And she also's probably
like stacking stuff. She's probably going to be
MIA for a little bit like that sort of honeymoon phase.
So she's probably getting all of her work obligations out of the way.
Yeah, but this just happened like she doesn't control the ceremony.
It happened to be in New York after the nickname.
She probably could control the ceremony, honestly.
Archilish. She probably could.
Somer paid tribute to her with the performance of her songs
Cardigan and Dear John. The two were also taking pictures together on the red carpet.
I wasn't really familiar with Somber's game
vocally. Like obviously I know his songs and they're really
growing on me. I kind of really, Taylor's maybe really like him. I think I've definitely like
discarded him in my mind as just like Gen Z. Sloth. Have you listened to 12 to 12 yet? Is that I don't
want to talk down on your lover. I don't want to be a home wrecker. And did you see Kelly Clarkson
covered it? No, and that's not 12 to 12. Sing it to me. In Paris, California. You're going
to have to give me a little bit more than that. But it doesn't sound familiar.
Oh, everyone in a room full of people I love.
love for you in an end up
would you look for me too?
Yeah, no, I'm telling you, he's got Riz.
He's really good.
And I did not know what he was working with vocally
until last night.
When he sang Dear John,
which is actually a very hard song to sing,
I was very moved.
It was a beautiful rendition.
I fucking love that song.
And Taylor's so funny because I feel like
people put so much emphasis
and for good reason on who she chooses, right?
Sabrina's sort of been like her unofficial
Protiche.
Successor.
Yeah.
For a while,
people thought like
Olivia Rodriguez,
there's like a lot of
emphasis on who she
surrounds herself with
and who she sort of approves.
And I like that she just chose
this like sort of like random guy
because it's like it means nothing.
Like I think she just likes him.
They're friends.
Yeah.
She's not the next Taylor Swift.
No, but she always is like lifting up other artists.
And some of them wind up being really like her junior.
But even when they're not her junior,
like there's always,
she's always supporting everyone around her
who's like doing good music.
Yes, yes, yes.
But choosing somber, like, doesn't send a message.
Do you know what I mean?
As, like, his next turn.
Like, it's a big deal when she sort of crowns,
like a young pop swirly with songwriting abilities
because it very much feels like a passing the torch, in a sense.
But this was like a very non-threatening choice.
And he did so good.
Yeah, he really did.
So she talked about her family and how she's so grateful for them
moving to Nashville so she could fulfill her dream.
She said it was easy to choose songwriting
over everything else in my life.
but it couldn't have been easy for my parents and my brother to just pick up and move our entire family from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world.
She said, even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I'll never be able to express my gratitude for you guys for doing that for me.
You're the reason I'm here tonight.
It's kind of crazy that she gave the 20 minute speech.
I've seen like a bunch of clips like I have not watched the whole thing in full and I will.
But I feel like a speech like about her career.
This is such a, you know, like, an intimate.
Yeah, yeah.
And Travis was there.
They did not walk the carpet together, which, like, is annoying.
But he, like, flew in from minicamp to be there.
So maybe, like, he got there late.
Her parents were also there, and they were, like, hugging,
divorced King and Queen, hugging, like,
while Taylor was talking about them.
Get back together.
She quoted John Dutton, like, she obviously watches Yellowstone,
which I think I would have guessed that, yeah,
that, yeah, she watches Yellowstone.
Travis definitely loves it.
She said two things that I love.
The first was that like, and I felt like
she was saying that like songwriting is easy for her.
And it's not that like she doesn't work hard at it,
but it's like a very easy thing for her to work hard at
because like when you love something so much.
Like it's not a big deal to work hard.
She's jobing her love.
Exactly.
And lobbing her job.
Yeah.
And then the John Dutton quote was like when you really have something like
when you create something so valuable like it's sort of a,
what the fuck was the quote?
Like people are going to come and steal it.
Like that's all the,
Like it's just how human nature works.
Like anything worth having is like worth stealing.
Yeah.
And what is she saying that in reference to.
I took it as like reference to like her not owning her masters until recently.
But she had said like your self worth, your integrity, your art.
I took it as, you know, this very like scuporchetta.
Yeah.
He said it's the one constant in life son.
You build something worth having.
Somebody's going to try to take it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She said, John Dutman was talking about a ranch,
but I'm using this quote to refer to yourself,
worth your peace of mind and your singular vision as a creator.
Yeah, the speech was really good.
It was really well written.
Like she talked about how, like,
she literally had to learn how to do everything in this industry.
Like nobody teaches you how to do, you know,
how to protect yourself, how to operate within this, like, crazy,
how to be famous.
But she never had to learn how to song write.
Like, nobody taught her.
She just, like, it's so instinctual to her.
And she, like, really, really loves and respects her parents
for, like, not just sort of chalking it up to, like,
a teenager phase, but like seeing in her what she, you know, sometimes like you see something
when you're a teenager and it's like, yeah, sure. But her parents like really listen to her and like
really believed her. And like literally rooted up their whole lives. Like her dad had a job. Like,
and just moved. It actually is so crazy. It is so crazy. To like you have to like,
you have to like, wacky 12 year old. But you have to just have like complete faith in your child that
they are exceptional. Well, they also have to be good. Yeah. I think a lot of times like people can't
be objective about their kids. It's like, well, it's great that your kid is passionate, but they are not good.
Yeah, but I think when the time comes to quit your job and move the family, you get objective.
You're like, let's hear that song.
Let's hear that song you wrote.
No, but I think there are like a lot of crazy stage moms who do quit their jobs and like move to LA.
When their kids sucks.
Yeah, but I feel like it's less of a belief in the child and like more.
It's a delusion.
It's a delusion.
It's about them.
And like projecting.
She looked great.
Maybe she's in like speech writing mode.
She's been writing a lot of speeches.
Oh, vows.
Vows.
Yeah.
Speaches.
This is the third outfit this week that I loved.
And one thing about Taylor is she has a very loyal.
It's one of her greatest attributes, her loyalty.
But unfortunately, she's loyal to the stylist who stinks.
I don't even know his name.
He just stinks.
I think his name is Joseph.
She's so hit or miss.
Like really, genuinely, 50-50.
So for her to leave the house three times this week,
and I loved what she wore to that toy story event.
The yellow was so perfection.
Like, actually looked like she finally got a new stylist.
The Nix game outfit was perfect, so cute.
I love the Fishtel braid,
girly and fun and sporty and playful.
I feel like that.
I feel like the next outfit she did herself.
I feel like when she goes out with her friend,
she doesn't use a stylist.
No,
I think she definitely does.
You think she's the most famous person in the world.
Yeah, I think that they knew they were going to wear these t-shirts.
So they said, like, make me an outfit with a t-shirt.
Oh, I really don't think so.
I don't know.
I feel like there's certain.
Maybe it's because she was friends with Blake Lively,
and that's like Blake Lively's thing.
It's like not having a stylist.
I feel like she, like, wants to get dressed herself.
Big occasion.
sure, but like to go to a baseball game or basketball game.
But the thing is, nowhere she goes is like just a basketball game.
No, I know.
But for her, it still is.
And it's like, okay, we'll have these big moments,
but also like I can clothe myself.
But I don't know.
I don't think so.
I just feel like she's not someone who like can't put a pair of pants on.
Some people actually can't put a pair of pants on.
Agreed.
They need their pajamas styled for them.
Oh, and if I was famous, like I'm that person.
Really?
Not only do I really not have.
You are famous.
And I don't, you don't even use a stylist.
No, at that level, if I was at that level, I don't go anywhere.
But like, when you have a big, like, most people at your level, by the way, most people at your level have a stylist.
I don't know, most people at my level go places.
Like, I don't need a style for my podcast.
My leggings will suffice.
Most people at our level would have a stylist for the podcast.
And that's why their practice wouldn't be successful as ours.
Right.
We're so real.
We're just real regular girls.
Regular and regular.
Also, I like what I'm seeing.
what I'm seeing from the style direction.
I'm seeing a trend in the three looks she wore this week of, no, not the Nix game.
The songwriters.
Oh, yeah, the Jesse, the Jesse red carpet.
Oh, that dress was fab.
Yeah, and it's like, oh, sorry, so she's slayed four dresses, four looks.
She's loving a strapless.
I think it's signaling her wedding look.
Well, the second yellow dress, which I think was the best fitting, like, that should be her wedding silhouette.
It was divine.
It's giving, like, what she changes in.
to further reception.
Love that.
Comfier, sexier.
I think a lot of people are also, like,
looking deep into the designer.
She wore Javonshay last night.
She wore Oscar,
the yellow dress was Oscar Delarenta.
I don't know who made the
mini denim-ish dress.
I don't think it means anything.
Like, she'll wear what she wants
and just because she's going to wear
like, you know, Dior for the wedding or whatever,
doesn't mean she's going to be wearing like Dior all week long.
She's not one of those, like,
but she does have longstanding relationships
with like Stella McCartney.
I could see like her doing a Stella McCartney
wedding dress.
I don't know if she does bridal,
but like I think I think I don't know she doesn't have like a brand that's like she's obviously
wearing that she works with everyone she works with everyone oh she did work very closely with Versace
on Erestor outfits ooh a Versaqi was it no it was Versacee there were a couple of
designers I think also Oscar De Laurenta who did a bunch of Eres tour like a lot of high profile
like Couture designers worked with her first.
Right, so she has her pick.
She's not like stuck with anyone.
May the best dress win.
But I love, I really have loved to see her like putting out looks.
Like I really don't have a ton of notes on.
Yeah.
You know, it's nice.
It's very, it's a relief.
Mm-hmm.
Our next story.
Selina Gomez is addressing the rumors after Nick's game backlash that she started herself.
So.
Literally.
Like there's nothing like cleaning up your own mess.
It's addressing the rumors that she put out herself.
So she posted, you know, about like clowning on like bandwagon Knicks fans.
And then people automatically assume that she's talking about Taylor,
which I don't know why people automatically assume that because there's a ton of bandwagon
Nix fans.
And Taylor's actually like been to Nix games before.
I think more she's talking about Hame.
So I don't think that she was talking about Taylor as a bandwagon fan.
But I think she was more so saying like there's all this hoopla for the Knicks now,
Celebrity, Taylor, everyone's going.
And it's like, well, where was this energy?
before this week.
I think that there has always been a lot of, like, good celebrity energy around the Nix.
Yeah, I don't know why.
There's a lot of discourse now that's, like, everyone's being a fake Nick fan.
I feel like that's so not true.
The thing is, and nobody really wants to acknowledge us, but, like, a lot of, I would argue,
most famous people are from New York.
Like, it is this beacon of, like, art, culture, literacy.
And, yeah, they may be live in L.A. now.
But, like, a lot of people's roots are here.
And New York is also, like, a very transient city.
Like, people live here for, like, a decade.
And they are New Yorkers.
and maybe they're from Louisiana,
but like people just like have ties here.
So I don't think it's like that weird that everyone.
Yeah, if everyone randomly became like Oklahoma City fans,
I would say, okay, maybe that's weird.
I can't imagine so many people across the country
having ties to Oklahoma City.
Yeah, I don't think that the celebrities are being like phony in their fandom.
That's like not what I'm feeling.
I feel like other people who I see like on my feed
are being like a little like phony, you know, band.
But like, okay, be a bandwagon fan.
Name them.
You know.
Name them.
You know who.
I don't.
You know who.
Name them.
I would absolutely never say that.
But it's like being a bandwagon fan is not a crime.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it.
Like even if I'm a celebrity with no ties to the Knicks,
but like there's a box and they're like, do you want to come?
Like how much fun to go to the NBA championship?
So yeah, you'll wear a hat or a shirt of the, like, of the team of whose arena you're at.
Like, I don't think there's anything weird about it.
that's what we were talking about this yesterday on the show is like people gate keeping nicks
fandom it's like okay when you get a life we know who the ogs are like who the people who have been
waiting for this moment for decades like we know who those are and everyone else like can be a fan like it's
fine especially yeah if they've ever lived in new york if they're from new york if they work in new york
if they work in new york like it's really some people also just like idolize new york it's like this
dreamy sort of like fantastical city yeah that yeah we're easy to root for sorry and we get
we don't have a lot of moments like this, so it makes it even more exciting.
Like it's no wonder, no offense, like no one's rooting for the Spurs unless you're from San Antonio
because this is just sort of, it feels like, I'm sorry to the Spurs, it's not your time.
And it just feels like this romantic story.
And it has to have this story book ending.
It does.
Yes, it does.
And so Selena is a Spurs fan.
Yeah, she's from San Antonio.
She's a documented Spurs fan.
So then she posted on her Instagram story saying, woke up and was sent so many texts.
I would never insult my friends, nor was it an insult.
The comment was a reaction to the first slide on the page.
Second, I bet my friends on the game, the friends in the text chain I posted.
I lost but was poking at my opponents, my friends.
Believe it or not, I do have other friends in my life,
but quickly forget that most assume otherwise.
Also, it's a basketball game.
So Selena has always been this sort of like Thorne and Taylor side.
Like, I think that it's like, sort of like an inconvenience.
at this point.
I don't think Taylor sees it that way.
Yeah.
I think Taylor's like blind to some of her like friends.
Selena.
And she has a couple of other woey friends.
Yeah.
And she's just blind to it.
Well, which is kind of a good quality.
Like she loves her friends like just very wholeheartedly and blindly.
And that's what you want in a friend.
But like public perception.
And just like as a third party, it's like Selena just looks crazy all the time.
Like every time we talk about her on the toast.
It's like what crazy thing did Selena go on miss?
And you know what?
She had to take a major break from this nutty social media behavior.
Also, Haley Bieber was at the game.
So, like, I know it's not right that, like, they constantly get pitted against one another.
But, like, they both, I feel like every time Haley post something, she's, like, make sure it's not going to be misinterpreted.
They have to constantly be thinking about one another.
And I think that Selena likes that, like, she has plausible deniability.
But, like, a lot of times she probably is talking about Haley.
She's like, what are you talking about?
I'm from San Antonio.
Like, she likes that she has that.
So she's from Ben's to go.
We had gotten a big break.
I feel like we haven't talked about,
because she's always queen of like,
I'm taking a break from social media
and then coming back and like starting stuff.
It's been a while.
I thought like now that she got married,
like she had grown up and like out of this.
I keep remembering that she's married
to like a sound of mind individual.
So I'm like,
okay,
it can't be.
He's not like that sound of mind.
No, he is.
Do you hear about J.
Do you hear him on J. Shetty?
Do you hear him on J. Shetty?
Yeah, he definitely has like an image.
The man has a brain.
But his day
but his show.
He has an image and like little dicky
and all that stuff that I'm like not participating in.
but like I've heard him talk.
And like farting on his podcast.
I've heard him talk long form.
The man has a brain.
It's true.
So I thought that we were behind this like very sophomoric behavior.
We're not.
Is there any way her and Taylor aren't friends?
No, but is everybody,
did you just like come up with the theory that it's about Haley?
Because by the way, it's about Haley.
People had thought that too.
Yeah.
By the way, it's about Haley.
By the way, Haley.
is from Nyack, New York. Yeah, do you know that? She's from
Nyack? I didn't know she's from Long Island or
New York. I think Nyack is technically upstate. Yeah, or like
the Bronx? No, no, no, no. Niac is upstate. What is it?
Near Westchester. Oh yeah, you weren't wrong. Bronx, yeah.
So all the Baldwin's, you know, Massapequa,
that's where Alec is from. Sounds like a magical place.
No, she's talking about Haley.
And like if we're gonna be pointing fingers like okay let's talk about you know who it's about it's about tape mcrae like bitch you're Canadian like what do you're about but like when I see like non-New Yorkers at the game and like and I am a New Yorker by the way I could give two shits like who can like no seriously people don't where everyone's from the only people I think who actually care are San Antonio fans because like it is annoying that everyone's joining the other side yeah I also saw people were like saying Taylor was just rooting against the Knicks at that other game.
name.
However.
Ben and I
died into it.
However,
she was not rooting.
She wasn't wearing
one stitch of red.
She wore actually blue denim,
which if we wanted to look into.
And you weren't allowed to wear
Nick's swag court side.
You were not allowed.
Travis was wearing red.
A red cabs hat.
But Taylor has a longstanding
track record of Rudy
for Nixon.
Yeah,
and the thing is,
she is from Pennsylvania.
Pensacola.
She is,
I believe,
an Eagles fan,
because her dad is like a big
Eagle's fan. But she's sort of lived all over and she has lived a lot in New York. She's also
lived a lot in LA. So like I'll allow it. No, I'm not questioning her next fandom at all. It was just
funny that people were saying that. But still, I actually don't think Selena was talking about Taylor.
Honestly, I think like Selena's talked about celebrities at the game and then the biggest celebrity
at the game was Taylor. So like people just make everything about Taylor. But I guess like Selena and
Taylor like should have gone together.
Because Selena's like a lifelong Spurs fan
and this is a really big deal.
So Taylor's going to the game.
Like why didn't they go together?
I know Selena was in London.
Only Spurs stand courtside.
I saw, well, the thing is,
if you're wearing plain clothes,
it's really kind of impossible to tell.
I think I had seen, I was actually looking at,
I saw one woman wearing a Webbenyama jersey
in the second row.
In the second row.
I don't know.
Selena is just a funny one
But this is what I said to bed the other day
So I apologize I'm repeating a lot today
We have this wedding coming up
That's gonna be like a true litmus test
Of where Taylor's at with everyone
Like we will know
And it's a big wedding
It's a thousand people according to you know sources
So we will know who she's good with
For sure but let me just tell you
Taylor loves Selena
I know
Taylor loves Selena
Heal
State of Grace is about Selena Gomez
You my Achilles heel
And she gives her a lot of grace
Yeah
Literally.
Are you ready for our next story?
We're moving so slowly today.
We are moving so slow.
We have so much to do.
Okay.
Real House House of New Jersey star Teresa Judice's 20-year-old daughter, Melania,
Melania has been arrested for assault.
This is actually insane.
20-year-old daughter of Teresa Judice was arrested for domestic violence.
Page 6 can confirm.
The 20-year-old college student was charged with one count of simple assault on May 14th.
Montville Township Chief of Police Andrew Cagiano said in a press,
release obtained by page six.
Court records show that officers detained Melania
after the incident occurred at 6.12 p.m.
Local time.
She was a schedule to appear in court on May 19th,
but no plea was entered.
May 19th.
This happened on May 14th.
What?
And we're just finding out about it?
Yep.
Okay, so I was playing Mahjong when this happened.
After it was over, I was like, not on my phone.
My friend Martyr texted me, and she was like,
Melania was arrested while we were Mahjong.
And I was like, Trump?
Like, I'm sorry, Melania, if you're going to say one name, one name, wonder named Melania,
it's not Jude Ice.
I was like, wait, that's insane.
And she was like, no, Jude Ice.
I was like, oh, if you know Melania, it's like, she does give that energy.
It's like, whenever she reached the age to be, like, eligible for arrest.
Like, she was going to get arrested.
Like, of all the sisters, like, it was never going to be Gabriella.
It was never going to be Gia.
It was obviously Maloney.
Like so yeah, this tracks, like, who'd she beat up?
Like I would love to know the backstory and like if we ever get Real Housewives of New Jersey
back on our screens, like maybe we'll find out.
Yeah, Melania should go on her sister Gia's podcast and like talk about it.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Oh, you know what I watched this morning?
I watched like 20 minutes of a Crisley podcast.
Let me tell you, those Chrisleys are fucking funny.
And they have like this great sort of witty banter because they're always talking about
like their arrest and their judge.
I guess like their case was kind of like fraught with a little bit of fraud.
And they had this really bad judge who just was exposed for having an affair in her chambers with the head of the Atlanta Police Department.
So they covered that story on the Chris Lee podcast.
Now, Julie's like clenching her butt cheeks because Todd is over here calling the judge a hoe and running a brothel in her chambers.
It was hysterical.
They're seriously so funny.
And she's like, like, she is sort of like the straight one on the podcast and she just like lets him run wild.
It's genuinely funny.
I was cracking up.
I kind of love Todd.
Todd Chrisley.
I mean, who is Todd?
Like, hilarious.
The Crisleys are a bit of a blind spot for me.
I never, like, watch their show.
Well, I did actually.
Like, way before, they became much more famous,
like, as they got arrested and then pardoned by Trump.
But their show, like, which I think hadn't even been on for quite some time by the time he got arrested,
was not very popular.
It was on USA.
Like, it was so random.
It was on Bravo, no?
No. It was on USA.
Let me tell you, I watched that shit so fucking much.
It was good.
Todd was crazy.
It was always curious how they made their money.
And I'm not entirely sure when it came to, like, the crimes that they were accused of, whether or not they did it.
I think they did do like some stuff wrong, but not to the degree of being in prison for 14 years.
Yeah, yeah.
But they've always had this very strange, funny family dynamic.
and now they all podcast. Savannah has her own podcast.
The parents have a podcast.
I saw the other two siblings have one.
I don't think they talk to the brother.
But I think they like raised the brother's child.
I don't know.
There was like a lot of drama.
They're very interesting.
Yeah, they are.
And like people really, you know, the cream rises and like they have listeners and everyone like is very invested in.
Let me tell you why.
It's Todd.
He is a star.
Todd on dancing with the stars when.
Like Todd, I'm telling you, he's grossly slept down.
I know he's like a convict.
So I don't know where they like.
I think Anna Delvey.
Yeah.
And he's pardoned.
Yeah, but once you get pardoned, like, do you get everything back?
Like, can you vote or are you still a felon?
Like, I don't know if you can vote.
Like, do you have a record?
I don't think you get like, you're not exonerated.
You just get pardoned.
Yeah, you just get your sentence commuted.
I don't know.
It's probably something we could just look up.
That's like my goal in life to like evade taxes for 20 years, get caught, go to jail for 30 minutes and get pardoned.
Okay.
Well, don't say that.
Oh yeah.
I can't let my enemies know what I'm up to.
Yeah.
Are you ready for our next?
Never let them know your next step.
Are you ready for our next story?
Yeah.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Miranda Hope.
What is it?
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, but they're not filming.
Miranda announces her debut single,
says she's telling her story in a completely different way.
What?
Miranda has revealed her latest career, pivot,
a country music career.
In an Instagram post, she announced that her debut single,
which is called F you for that, number four.
F, letter F, letter U, number four, that.
Is her stage name Miranda Hope?
That's a good name, by the way.
Yeah, it will drop on June 26th.
Oh, so I can't, I was just going to go pull it up to try and listen to it.
But is there like a little teaser on her Instagram?
Oh, yes.
Play it.
I love it.
I can't lie.
It sounds better than I thought it would.
She said sharing this part of myself with the world is both excited.
and intimidating.
Music has always been
such a huge part of my life
and this project gave me an opportunity
to tell my story
in a completely different way.
I'm so proud of what we've created,
can't wait for people to hear it
and this is just the beginning.
That's unexpected.
I thought if we were going to get
music from anyone in the secret lives
of Mormon wives,
it would have been
and I see your true colors.
Demi and Brett.
And this definitely feels out of left field
like I think we all sing
but I didn't know that Miranda did.
Yeah.
And also, I mean this is,
This is big because I feel like some of the girls have really, like,
have other things going on for them.
And then there are girls that are still, like, kind of stuck in Utah.
And, like, they get amazing, like, Brandeals and whatnot.
But, like, career-wise, there's not, like, a big plan.
And none of them have done this yet.
One of them can.
It's just carving out a niche of music could be good.
Yeah, I feel like Jesse has graduated a little bit.
And Jesse has her business.
Like, she's booked and busy.
And she...
Taylor, obviously, has graduated.
Whitney, obviously.
Oh, of course. Yeah, Jen has not graduated, but she is going to the OC franchise, which is new and different.
Yeah, and she did dancing with the stars. But Michaela, Macy, Layla, Miranda, like are sort of the, just, and you know what? I actually appreciate that. And maybe some of them want to be that. They're sort of stable figures. Like, they just stay in Utah and our mom talk.
Yes. And I think that they make a really good living. And if I imagine have like happy work life balance and I would hope that the ones who are doing that are happy with.
just doing that because I think you could live a happy life.
But if they are like wanting more,
then they probably feel like left behind.
I think that like Layla feels left behind.
Yeah, because she's pursuing modeling.
I think Macy is content.
Me too.
I think she has like Shalom Bai,
like the show hasn't ruined her life yet.
And she sees that like maybe some of the other girls
who like want more and desire more and like leave Utah a lot.
It does sort of have a negative impact.
And so I think she takes,
you know,
being not the most famous one in the group,
but being like very middle.
I would say middle top.
And like she wrote her book.
And so she's,
shared like she has her passion projects but it doesn't take her too far from home and far from
family and I think it's I hope she's content I think Michaela too yeah and I think Michaela also has like a lot
of other things going on in her life like with her health that like it's not a priority to can I be
the most famous mom talk like yeah I think she just prioritizes like feeling well here's the thing
you don't want to be the most famous mom talk that's the thing it's true there's only one way to
go when you're the most famous mom talk like look at Taylor Frankie Paul the most famous
Correct. Well, good luck to Miranda. I'm excited to hear the song.

Our Bid and Binal Story, Love Stories, Paul Anthony Kelly, who played,
JFK Jr.
I'm okay.
In Love Story is joining the Housemaid sequel with Sidney Sweeney and Kirsten Dunst.
So JFK Jr. from Lump's Story will be in the sequel of The Housemade called The House Made Secret
with Sidney Sweeney, who's reprising her role, and Kirsten Dunst.
It is based on the sequel to the Freedom McFadden novel.
Okay.
And who's Paul Anthony Kelly playing?
I think he's playing.
I would imagine like the husband.
Yeah.
Of the rich lady who's like sick.
Yeah, and the book is like
The housemaid gets, Sydney gets a job
Like working in a apartment for this man
And his wife
But she's never allowed to see the wife
Right, and she's just supposed to be believing
What the husband says
And did we like fake cast this
Or was it actually confirmed that that guy
The Italian Stud from 365 days
Is playing Enzo?
Michelle Moro
Yeah, he's in this
And is he in the original?
He must have been because that guy is in the original
Characters in both, yeah
Yeah
I need to see the house made.
I have like a list of movies I haven't seen The House Made and Devil Wars Prada.
I had another one.
I still have to watch Full Swing.
And did you ever see Marty Supreme?
No, and I'm not going to.
I didn't like it.
It's like was barely on my list and it's not on my list anymore.
Like sorry, Kylie, I love you, but I'll catch one the next one.
Yeah, no, you missed it too.
Like the hype for the Oscars like, it's over.
It's over.
Oh, and he can wear all that orange stuff to the Knicks.
Yes, they were matching chrome hearts.
It was cute.
She looked amazing.
She's insane looking.
Oh, wait.
Can we talk about Taylor and Kylie hugging?
We can.
It was the hug that you give your sister's enemy for sure.
Oh, 1,000% and Kylie's eyes.
Because like Taylor saw Kylie.
So Taylor was sort of prepped going in.
Kylie just turns around and your sister's enemies behind you,
who's also the most famous person in the world.
So Kylie's eyes are kind of white.
She was like, that was so crazy.
Yeah, that was so crazy.
Yeah.
I need more angles of this.
I want Taylor's eight.
Like there's a person behind.
There's a person behind Kylie filming it.
Like, where is that video?
I need to see Taylor's face if she looked genuine or not because, like, Kylie actually
shouldn't have an issue with Taylor.
It's your sister's enemy, but like your sister's over it and nothing happened bad for
your sister.
And you were like 16 at the time.
Yeah.
But like Taylor hates Kim more and like those associated with Kim.
Of course.
So like for Taylor like still actively writes songs about it.
Like thank you Amy.
Cassandra.
Like these are songs that people believe to be about the Kardashians on TTPD.
That's two years ago.
Taylor would have to be displaying even more fakeness than Kylie in that moment.
But it was Taylor who went over and said hello.
And I was sitting behind them.
I was on that side.
They were both court side,
but they were decently far enough away from each other.
And they were technically on like opposite sides of the court that like when Taylor
was like leaving for,
you know,
to go to drinks or the bathroom,
she went one way and Kylie went the other.
Yes.
But when the celebration.
They could have avoided.
No,
because Taylor like actively sought her out.
You see Taylor's sort of waiting for her to turn around.
Taylor could have just left.
That's how you treat your enemies though.
Yeah, and Taylor is also very aware that like everyone's watching everything she does.
So like she wanted people to know like I say hello, I'm gracious.
Yeah.
The only person that she would actually not have said to hello to is Kim.
Kim.
But that's how.
Well, actually even, yeah, no, I guess she obviously wouldn't say how to Kanye, but maybe she would say how to Kim.
I think she maybe she wouldn't.
She wrote a song about Kim.
Thank you, Amy.
She would have like made sure she was nowhere near.
But like when you're in a Cold War, that's how you treat your enemy.
And I'm sure that Taylor and Kylie both knew that the other was going to be there.
And so you have time to prep.
Yeah.
And she knew that she was there and that if they win, they'll be on the court.
Like, and fine, I'll just hug her.
I mean, I think they both handled it perfectly and it was a great moment.
Do they even know each other?
Like, yeah, her and Kendall, actually, they've definitely met because like Kendall and Taylor used to be friends.
Yeah.
It's just like so upsetting that like they'll never swirl it up, you know?
It is.
Even though I think that if there was no bad beef, bad blood,
the Kardashians and Taylor
wouldn't really be friends.
They're not similar.
They're not.
They're very different.
They're not.
I don't think they would get along.
So I think there's really not even an opportunity lost.
No.
No.
And who was Haley with?
She was in the tape.
So there were so many celebrities
court side,
but I think it was actually very difficult
to get those seats.
That MSG had two sweets up in the sweets level
that were like,
just definitely like filled with celebrities.
They gave them free.
Nina Dobreve, Penn Badgley,
Tate McCray, Jake Shane.
Um, Kiki Palmer, Haley Beaver.
Okay.
So she was sitting with Tate and Jake.
Cute.
Yeah.
Time for, oh, anyways, good for JFK Jr.
He got another job and I, oh, yeah.
I liked him as an actor.
I know, like, you.
And you know, Dumas said that Carolyn Beset, Sarah Pigeon was spotted like swirling it up with Joe Alwyn.
Yikes.
Yeah.
That's not good.
That's not good.
That's not good for the Q score.
But, um, I'm, I like this.
And not that I have like anything to say because I didn't even see the first.
movie but I did read this second book as well and great go off king and he has been like getting
some flack on the internet because like a lot of his interviews have gotten viral because like he's not like
like super friendly and like he was asked at the mecala uh somebody was like what bionsee music do you
listen to when you're getting ready or what's your favorite biontze song and he was just like because i guess
biance came and like people were just asking and he was like i don't i like listen to metal and he was like
kind of like, not dismissive, but being like, kind of, that was a dumb question.
I mean, it kind of was.
Yeah, of course.
And the, like, people were like, oh, he doesn't give a fuck.
He's so mean.
But I kind of respected.
Like, it was a dumb, stupid question.
Seriously.
Seriously.
They're not at a Beyonce concert.
They're not even at a music event.
They're at a fashion event.
Like, it was a stupid question.
Yeah.
And he's kind of like, someone asked him a question and he was like, I don't know.
I don't like get a lot of sleep these days.
He just had a baby.
Like, he doesn't give a fuck.
Like, I like that.
And like, that's fine.
Not everyone like needs to be like bubbly like on the end, you know, viral moments.
Fake, fake.
Because not everyone is like that.
We all have different personalities.
A thousand percent.
Is it time for TV recap?
It is.
It's time for Lausa recap.
So very much like a filler episode, but I did enjoy because it was just like I feel like
the whole episode was one afternoon.
Yeah.
But there was a lot going on in that afternoon.
It was the first time that I was like with this Melanie and sincere thing,
she's obviously the crazy one.
But it was the first time he was starting to piss me off.
because what do you mean you had a conversation with Melanie?
She asked you straight up, do you still want to explore soul?
And you said no.
And then you're upstairs.
It was the first time I felt like her anger was justified.
She is a crazy person, so like she's hard to root for.
He officially did wrong.
He moved badly and in an insincere sort of way, I would say.
Because this whole time I support him and soul.
I actually like love him and soul.
I think they should be together forever.
And if he does not couple up with her.
Well, I guess America's choosing.
It's going to forcefully.
Okay, America's choosing.
But if he, like, still stays with Melanie and, like, winds up back with Melanie,
I will be, like, really upset with him.
Because, like, why do you mean you have this connection with Melanie when you've known
each other for five days and you've fought for four of them?
Like, why is that stronger than what you have with soul?
Which is only happiness and light.
And I felt like last night's episode, it was just, like, becoming clear that so many things
should happen.
There's, like, a puzzle here.
And I feel like they're getting close.
obviously Melanie and Corbyn should be together
like two freaks
sincere and soul are a matchmate in heaven
Jen and Gabriel are a match made in heaven
even though we didn't even see them last night
I do feel like Kenzie and
Caleb are a matchmate in heaven
but I feel like she doesn't like him
That's what I said the other recap
I said I feel like she doesn't like him
And that's a mistake
I do feel like she attaches easily
I feel like she's a lover and she's like attached herself
to Corbin and like went into
very much in earnest and like now is a little bit attached to him.
People think that they were having sex in the bed scene.
Did you see that?
It was very brief.
They showed all the couples, everyone with their back turned to reach each other.
You can actually look it up because there is a still shot.
I'll send you the article.
We're talking about Corby and Kenzie.
Yes, they went to sleep that night with happy.
I went to sleep.
Oh, I see.
Yeah.
Do you see the image?
of him behind her
of him behind her
and then I actually saw it
because I was watching
without looking at my phone
she like has her finger in her mouth
and she's like you know
obviously experiencing something
I didn't think it was sex necessarily
their bottoms aren't moving
do people know how sex works like
how do you know they're oh you see a video of it
yeah I'm watching it
I didn't think it was sex necessarily
but they're obviously
doing something rounding the bases
a thousand percent
like so and I think that she gets
Just pissing me off that she doesn't like Caleb because it's getting in the way of my puzzle.
I think she likes Caleb, but she's already, like, become involved with Corbyn.
And it's like, she can't just, like, remove herself that easily when she's invested in him a little bit.
But I agree with you, you know, I think actually Melian and Corbyn are a good match because I feel like she can really be herself with him.
I feel like with sincere she's always like either being like, happy.
She's pretending to be someone she's not.
She is to, but or she's also just always having a,
Whereas like with Corbyn, I felt like they sat down and they were just like could actually just be themselves.
Him too, Mr. Chad, GBT, where he's like, oh, Mr. Can I get a kiss?
He's got to fucking stop with that.
Okay.
So Melanie asked him, do you want kids?
No.
And he said, yeah.
Beatriz asked him that.
Do you want kids?
And he said, yeah.
And she said, how many?
Like a lot?
He said, I want three people.
Who the fuck says that?
Yeah.
there's something so weird about him i like that yesterday everybody like decided you know we've all
sort of coupled up but let's just see if there's anything else everybody started talking to one another
bea and corbin corbin and melanie um and i guess bryce and kata so when bryce did his friend down
i didn't get there tell me what happened oh my god i i like still have 10 minutes so Bryce is like
teasing to us he's like i want to talk to zach yada yada and i'm like what is he about to say
i thought because you know people like ship him and zach i thought because you know people like ship him and zach i thought
he was leading up to be like Zach, I have a crush on you and it was going to be like a cute, like meet cute with them. No, he was like, I want to pull Kada for a chat. And Zach starts laughing. He thinks he's joking. That is funny. And he's like, no, no, I'm serious. And Zach was like, oh, really? And Bryce is like, yeah, I would never do it without Tao. Can you first. But like, I don't know. I just feel like I would be, like upset with myself. He's like, I feel like Trinity doesn't like me. And I have this, like, lingering thing. Like, I feel like Kada and I have something. And Zach, like, was, like, was.
really like laughing in his face,
even when he knew that he was being serious.
And he was like, yeah, sure.
Like, he's so not threatened by Zach.
I think he feels very secure in, excuse me, by Bryce.
But it did then,
Zach then also went over to Trinity and told her.
And they had been having like an argument before that she was like,
you're not affectionate enough.
I think he just feels that like she really doesn't like him.
I mean, she is always, maybe there are other conversations,
but she's always just saying how they're not a good couple.
And she doesn't feel like they're as good as everybody else.
And it's like, that's annoying to hear all the time.
You're making it like a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Now, I will agree with her that he's not like leading with like romance
and making her feel like they're in a like a romantic couple because it does feel very friendship.
But I do think there's still the potential for more.
And he is very committed to her.
He doesn't step out.
He doesn't talk to other people.
Maybe nobody wants to talk to him.
But I don't know.
He seems like he means what he says.
So like she just sort of has to trust him that they will get there.
But I could see for her why that's frustrating.
she would feel like, wait, I'm in this relationship that's not a relationship, but to constantly
bring it up instead of doing something about it. Instead, one, either be more affectionate with him or two,
talk to other people. Yeah. So he hasn't talked to Katie yet, but he like made all the arrangements.
He's doing it all right. But it's sort of like this futile effort. Like, Kada is obsessed with Zach.
And Kada sort of famously turned him away when the three of them were in bed together the first time at Paradise Cove.
So I was shocked. I didn't realize what he was going to say. I'm like, what is he like, what is he like,
gearing up for it. I was like, wait, what? Like, that's your best friend's girlfriend. And also,
like, you had your chance. Well, I think it's good because I think Zach needs to appreciate
Kada more. And he needs to feel threatened or like, they need to close off. Yeah. No, and he was like,
not appreciating her. And so I want him to like realize that he has like work for her and try. And
like, I hope Kada like actually uses this as an opportunity to get him to get serious.
him into some sort of feeling of maybe jealousy or something.
Like I think she should wield this.
So that that would be good for them.
I actually really like Bryce.
I think he's like so level-headed.
You like him because his name is Bryce, but sure.
No, no.
And when he came in with like the hair, like just put your hair back.
Agreed.
It's very distracting.
No, he seems very genuine and level-headed.
And I feel like he's earnestly like looking for a good gal.
And I feel like he really likes, I don't think Trinity and him.
I just don't think there's enough chemistry.
Yeah.
But I think, and I think the same of Trinity, I think she's like a quality girl.
And I think she's also looking.
And I wish it would work.
Maybe it still can.
But I think.
They both need to start having conversations with other people.
It's not working.
Yeah, I agree.
But I don't know like who there is right for either of them right now.
Maybe we need new bombshells.
Yeah.
I really like the bombshells.
The OG girls are being really mean.
I don't like that.
They are.
They're so immature.
it's really ugly.
When they, all the girls besides the two bombshells,
like had the conversation on the couch and Beatrice was like,
Gabriel kissed both bombshells or Melanie said that.
And then Melanie was like, I kiss.
And they all started screaming and everyone's like looking at them.
No, and like Melanie like rolls off the couch.
She's so extra.
She's always doing shit like that.
And like it keeps, it's never appropriate.
Yeah.
And like it just made everyone else,
especially the other two girls who aren't there just obviously feel left out.
When Melanie was in the glam room,
like so upset that Sincere kissed both bombshells.
And literally Jen is right behind her.
I don't know if she knew Jen was behind her,
but she was like, I mean, he kissed both of them.
Like, she's literally right behind you.
She can hear you.
When at the challenge she kissed both of them?
In the glamour.
No, remember they both got pulled for a chat and he kissed Jen and...
Sincere kiss Jen?
Mm-hmm.
I think.
I think she was saying...
Or was it Gabriel?
I think she was saying he kissed soul twice.
No, no.
Who kissed both?
Both. Gabriel.
Yeah.
Okay, so they're in the glam room, and Melanie's like, I can't believe he kiss both of them.
Like, them, it's talking, like, so dismissive.
Like, it was basically, like, I can't believe, you know, he kissed it.
Like, and Jen was right behind her.
Yeah, no, she's really, really, really.
Immature.
And it's like, I don't need all, like, the fake girls' girls'isms.
Hate that.
But to, like, just not like the new bombshells because they're new and you feel threatened
is just really ugly when they're coming in and, like, it's a hard situation to walk into.
Also, there's a lot of discourse online because people have found videos of Melanie from a couple years ago.
And she used to be a plus size model.
Her family's speaking out.
Like there's a bunch of stories about it.
Like they're talking about like the Ozempic allegations.
I'm pretty sure.
Cracking up.
Okay.
I did see that she was a former plus size model and I do think a lot of her behavior.
Once you've been like fat, you're, I assume like for a great portion of your adult life.
And then you get skinny.
you kind of like don't know how to act.
I think that to say that like the attention you get when you're fat and skinny from romantic partners is the same.
It's just a lie.
Like it's different.
So I think maybe she doesn't really know how to handle some of the attention that she gets.
And yeah, she does act like a preschooler.
And I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that maybe a lot of the attention she's getting romantically like is new for her and she doesn't know how to handle it.
Yeah.
Or people are saying that like she acts insecure and it stems from Munchius Plus size, which I just think is like not a,
good argument.
Thing to say?
Yeah.
It's not a good thing to say.
And like it's just, that's not necessarily
true.
I like how it's like we're looking back in people's history.
We're looking for tweets.
Did you say a slur?
Melody was fat.
Like it's insane.
No, but actually, and also,
she, like, her transformation is amazing.
She looks insane.
She, I mean, she's so beautiful.
She's one of the most beautiful girls when she got there.
But, like, to know that she's been on this journey,
I find it very inspiring.
I'm very inspired.
Very relatable, too.
I'm very insightful.
I'm very inspired by her.
She's got good skin elasticity.
But I think sometimes when somebody loses a lot of weight, like you can tell.
I would never have guessed.
I think she has a really bad personality.
And I just think that she just has a bad personality no matter her size.
Yeah, like let's not blame the weight.
Yeah, it's so like it's unfair.
She's insufferable at any size.
That's what I think.
I agree.
And I think people like ascribing like her being insecure as having been like, formerly
plus size.
A lot of us are plus size and we're delights.
Like I don't even know what you're talking about.
bikini model when she's plus size i don't think she's insecure i just think it's actually like an overgeneralization
and they think they're being like inclusive you're actually being offensive you're being fatphobic as
yeah no but they think they're being inclusive in saying that and i'm just saying it's it's a typical
love island discourse love island discourse is fucking crazy no it really is so anyways oh her cousins
and her sister were like speaking out they're like because people saw the old pictures of her and
they thought it was ai she and so her cousin was like Melanie is my little
cousin, I can tell you it's her. And no
Ozempic. She said she worked hard to get her
current body and she wasn't insecure when she was
plus size and she's not insecure now.
Thank you cousin. Good.
Oh, this is the first year that Islanders
are not allowed to have their social medias
be running. Love it. A lot of...
Yeah, so in years past, like you would leave your
Instagram and your TikTok. Like if I left, I would give you
the keys. And then it's sort of like
the captain of your fan club is like posting pictures.
I think Love Island gives you a lot of content to post.
Somebody's
like running your accounts while you're gone.
this is the first year that that's not happening.
And I actually like it better because a lot of times,
like the person running the account gets canceled.
Like, I found your sister's old tweets.
It's insane.
It's insane.
And also it adds nothing.
This person has no information on what's going on.
They're posting stills from the show that we are watching.
And they're just like captioning and making it about themselves in some way.
I think it's so good that they're not doing this.
Also, this season, it really seems like they did not choose preexisting influencers,
people with followings.
anything like that.
So it's not like they have an account with 500,000 followers and they want their followers
to watch.
I think doing it this way has been so much better.
Yeah, like Huda had like 200,000 followers before last season.
Ace was like a streaming king.
Oh, yeah.
Streams.
Yeah.
So I think this is really good.
And also like, I think everybody is there for like the fame and everything that comes
after it.
But it makes it sort of like a level playing field and it feels, it feels less about that.
Agreed.
So that's your Love Island recap.
We'll see you after the recoupling.
Oh, I can't wait.
Let's dive into our final segment of the week,
which is, oh, Queenie and Weenie Friday.
Every Friday last segment of the week.
We like to do Queenie of the Week and Weenie of the Week.
It's a self-explanatory segment
where we just give out awards to people
who act like Queenies and Wean is this week.
I feel like a lot of joy was brought this week.
I'm ready to go.
Let's start with Queenie.
I would like to give my Queenie to somebody who sort of like
flies under the radar,
someone who never likes to make it about himself,
but I'm going to make it about himself,
and it's O.G. Ananovi.
So he's responsible for the Tippin,
the Tippin Harold Brown in the world.
It was insane.
He's a viral king.
I don't know if you know.
He has, like, so many viral moments.
And another one happened this week,
so he's in the press conference.
Like, he literally just saved the game.
Yeah.
The whole game.
He's so chill.
Someone was like, how does it feel?
He was like, I mean, everyone thought it was pretty cool.
I also thought it was cool.
Like, he's so nonchalant about the whole thing.
thing. And I just, I said this the other day and it would take one quick Google search,
but I've been too lazy. I hope he has a good woman at home. Yeah, I hope so too. Obviously
Queenie of the Week are like the Knicks. There's and all celebrity, like everything to do. But
OG. It's been such a delight. O.G specifically, Jalen Brunson not to be overlooked. Never.
Mr. Jordan Woods not to be overlooked. No, of course. But I feel like a lot of the players like get
their shied and OG is sort of like low key. And it was him. Like he had 33 points and he barely
played the second half.
Like, Jaylen Martin at 36, you know?
Did you see?
And it's like, it's always Jaylin.
It's always Jaylin.
Absolutely.
Of course.
But like, O.J.
Did you see your boy Fox is in like hot water?
Who the fuck is my boy Fox?
On the Spurs.
You said it's like, it's not just Wemby.
Like Fox too.
Okay.
The guy, I like his castle.
So I didn't know what you said.
Okay.
But this guy Fox.
So when right before the OG play, the last one, like the spurs had the ball and that guy
Fox like ran it down so quick to take a shot.
But they were winning.
All he had to do was just like,
sort of hold on to the ball and run out of the clock. Waste time. So like he kind of fucked up
the entire game. And then reports are that he did not get on the team playing back to San Antonio.
Excuse me? Like everyone's so mad at it. I don't know why he didn't get on the plane, but like
how is he going to get home? Maybe like he could fly separately, but I think that's a big deal that
he wasn't on the plane for whatever reason. But yeah, he actually like just lost the game for them.
I mean, it was a group effort. Like it takes more than just one person at one moment to diminish a 30
point lead. Yes. No, but the same way, like, it takes more than just OG and that alley-oop.
But it's on him. The win is on him. It's the loss on Fox. So awkward. Seriously so. I could never
just, like, be a part of such high-stakes things. In the same vein, my winning of the week goes to the group of
young men who destroyed a taxi cab in New York City while celebrating the next win.
I saw the cab driver. There was a girl, too.
Oh, was there?
Yeah, and they were like taking off belt
and like whipping the car.
And there was a girl.
I thought that was really embarrassing for her
like trying to impress the guys.
Oh my God, she definitely drinks beer.
Such low brow, like disgusting behavior.
First of all, that's someone's personal property,
like a cab driver who's now responsible
because like you're an animal.
It bothered me so much.
I saw the cab driver.
He just looked like so upset and defeated.
And like the cops couldn't even do anything
to like usher his car out.
I think that people like that
are some of the lowest IQ individuals.
I think that they actually
don't deserve to live in the same.
Like, we are civilized.
I don't know what you do.
It really upset me.
I can't believe there was a girl there
that changes everything.
Yeah.
That poor cab driver, like, that's just someone's dad.
That's someone's husband.
Like, seriously, just wanted to go to work.
And you now, like...
His livelihood is, like, taken from him.
And, like, is there a go-fund me?
Like, how is he paying for the cab?
Like, it really bothered me.
Yeah, it's really upsetting.
Also, the person who threw an egg at Wendy.
Big, yeah, that makes us look so bad, you guys.
And yet, Wembe is the villain.
Like, he is this sort of dirty player,
but, like, now we're worse than that.
Whemey's a villain, it's a game.
Okay, Selena.
Also, it's a basketball game.
He's not the actual, like, he's the villain of the game.
Of the game.
Correct.
So.
He's also still somebody's son.
Yeah, to throw an egg is really classless,
disgusting behavior.
It is. And I feel like, I don't know what could be done. Like literally the NYPD is deploying all their officers. They have barricades up. But like, I don't know. I don't really feel like the players should have to like do a pap walk just getting off the bus into their hotel. You know what I mean? Like pull up into the garage. Like do something. Oh, I mean, yeah, maybe. I don't know if the bus could like fit in a. I know. That's what I was saying to bed. It's hard in New York City. I think sometimes if you're playing in like, you know, San Antonio, you can go in the parking garage. Right. But they're probably.
it wouldn't fit.
Right.
And like maybe people could just control themselves so like the players could
walk five steps to the hotel.
Insane.
Yeah,
not cool.
And like also like I think after the first game, some, I saw a video of like some guy
like bashing someone's heads in with a, they took a sign off the like a bus stop sign.
Like a street sign.
Yeah.
A street sign.
And was like bashing someone's head with it.
Not good.
Like they're ruining it.
Yeah.
They really are.
Yeah.
That's what I mean when I say like I'll be okay if the Knicks went on Friday.
on Saturday, like away from home.
Understood.
And I'm just watching from home.
So those are the ladies.
