I should have brought Mags. You should have. I actually didn't plan to bring Bruno and I never bring him. This is the first time I brought him. I can't even remember the last time he was on the show. But as I was driving to work this morning as I was leaving the house, I saw like Zach walking Bruno. And I pulled over and he was with the voice. So I was like, oh, hi. And then Bruno was just like being Bruno.

And Zach was like, you want to take him to work. I was like, yeah, I do want to take him to work. But you didn't want to take his harness off? No, I didn't take his harness off. And now I can because I don't want him to get up. But there's been like a lot of rumors about Bruno. Yeah, how's he doing? He's doing amazing.

Worried the summer. He always gives everyone a frighten the Hamptons. The Hamptons do not agree with Bruno. He is the worst, fatest, laziest version of himself. But the moment we got home, like, he's back to the old brew. He's back. Okay. I like are you just like saying that to like tell yourself that or like okay no no no no everyone says it

Bruno is back Bruno is back point blank period point blank period I look forward to the next time you connect I look forward to the next time I connect with him as well because you know he really loves me he loves to come in my bed and I really love brew but he makes me upset he's a crazy individual but he's living his less his best life he's a crazy easy individual. He is. It's so true. Margo is here and I didn't want to like overhype it but I meant what I said because I was saying Claudia's out today.

I was thinking of like who I wanted to co-host with me and like who were some of the most popular co-host when I did Claudia's maternity leave. And Margo's episode, I think the shot this the episode was called like Satchy Catching Strays, something like that. Yeah, yeah. Oh, I was catching strays. And it was literally one of the most. popular episodes of the maternity leave.

And then people were reminding me like, oh, is it, because I said it's the most popular host for maternity leave? They were like, is it Jesse from Secret Lives? Because actually I do think hers was like the most listened to because it was like so buzzy. No, fair enough. So second most popular co-hows. No, I like that's an honor.

I'll take like top five because it's like, you know, I'm not like special. Like I'm your sister. It's not like I like have like really any major like tea to give. So it just means that people just enjoy our banter and that's lovely. Yeah. And I think you're one of the closest personalities to a regular episode of the toast is what it is. I was. You know, because I was ready to go to the studio, bring in a guest, you know, call my peeps in Miami.

Yeah. You know, but I was like, wait, they just want like swirly vibes. They just want swirly vibes. I'm so happy you're here today. I had texted you asking if you could do the show today. I haven't spoken to you since the Hamptons. No, we've recorded Redheads. That's really bad.

And it's like, of course, it's a two-way street. Yeah, it is actually a two-way street. You, if I never call you again, like you will never call me again. But if I will never call you again, you will never call me again. No, I would. I would call you and you know that. But like I also am like extremely busy. I moved into a new house.

No, no, by the way. Chicken bone. I have like no problems with you. Like I totally get it. You have so much going on. No, no, of course you don't have problems with me.

I'm saying I have a problem with you. But it sounds like you have problems with me. But like I'm also so busy. Like does it not make you sad that you haven't spoken to your favorite sister at length in a while? No, it does. But I'm also just thinking about like I don't know what I would have had the time. Because then once I do eventually have the time and I'm in bed like I don't want

a fucking nap. Like I just want to lay in bed. No time to call your sister. You know. Actually, I didn't even realize until right now. And it's been a really crazy month, but it's kind of disgusting and unprecedented how long we haven't like had a catch up for. So you guys are going to be privy to you are catch up.

That's true. That's true. Which is fun for you. And by the way, like no, there's nothing like there's nothing betwixt us negative or anything like that. Oh, should we start beef? Let's start a rumor. People are going to hear that.

People are going to hear them and think like we don't like each other. No, no, totally. Oh my God. I kind of love that. Like, yeah, like, people, like, think that, like, the sisters are, like, beefing. Like, that's, like, T. Yeah, it's, like, so Kardashian. Yeah, totally. It's like, oh, my God, like, Jackie and I don't like each other. Because we're so up each other's butts. Like, there's never been any space for rumors like that. It's so true. Because we love each other so much. Also, not for nothing. Like, there is a group chat that's constantly going on. It's not like we've never,

we're not in communication. Like, we are constantly talking every day. It's just in different formats. And we know, like, if you have an update and I have an update, it's in like, I know. one to one. One on one. We haven't had a touch base in a while. We haven't. You should come see me. Oh, we did.

When you called me, actually, you called me about Bruno Mars. I did. I did. We were thinking about going to Bruno Mars. Like, Bruno Mars has always been performing September, Miami. Like, we're going. And then the week before Margo was like, are we going? And I was like, no.

And I do wish that we went. I didn't see one thing from that. I haven't seen one thing from his tour. Come to think of it. I saw it because someone sent me videos from the show in Miami. And like, it looked amazing. and we should have been there. But it was the day before Yom Kippoor.

It was just a lot. It's just a lot of the time. And Bruno swallowed a chicken bone. I have three kids. Bruno swallowed a chicken bone. Oh yeah. Have you heard this? It was like so many weeks.

It was like two plus weeks ago now. So I think we're in the clear. He swallowed a chicken bone, which is so bad for dogs. And then what? Nothing. Did he like poop it out? Nope.

We kept calm and we carried on. So like in that event, do you take him to the vet or you just like pray for the rest? No. unless he's giving me cause unless he's like you know not being yourselves yeah or you know sometimes we look at him we're like there's something wrong with bruno um but he was like fine yeah no there was nothing there was nothing his birthday's coming up yeah his birthday was in august what oh but you got him in october his gotcha day's coming up yeah oh oh oh oh i always associate him

with october got it okay oh that's so cute yeah yeah that's so cute well what's new with you. I know you just want to talk about Bruno. What's new with you? I shouldn't have brought him. He's a distraction. Um, what's new with me? I don't, nothing really to share with you publicly online, you know? Oh, wow. But you've been too busy to call me, but there's nothing new. No, my life is, I just have a busy life, you know? I just lead a very busy life. Like I just have, what are you doing this weekend? Things going on. What am I doing this weekend? Um, tonight I have dinner tomorrow have you ever been to a restaurant in the city called Estella

no but I feel like I've heard of it but why that's where um MGK and Dakota Johnson went on their date interesting when they went to Taylor Swift's apartment oh I don't know yeah I don't really like know like like hot new places because I feel like I go to the same three oh you do you don't go to hot new restaurants have you been to a corner store I do I have I have I do love corner store. And I did actually go to the new restaurant that they opened, that corner store opened this

week called Cafe Charmonde. It's in the old St. Theos. And it was fabulous. So maybe I do actually know. So what do you think is the best restaurant in the city for someone coming to visit New York City? Hillstone.

Okay, but like city specific. And I agree. It is Hillstone. Yeah. City specific. Like, what's the cuisine? Just give me a great restaurant in New York City. Like, come on.

You got a young New York City. young person here. And it's not a membership club? No, and it's not a membership club. Shoot, like, I don't know why this is coming to me, but like American Bar. Okay, that sounds like. I do love American Bar. Yeah.

I can't wait to see your new house. I'm so excited. Are you coming anytime soon? Do you have plans? I have Thanksgiving booked, even though that helps you. And then I was thinking

about maybe coming in October for Levi's birthday. Okay. Great. But I need to see, I have a lot of work travel coming up. So I need to see how that nets out. And then if that weekend is available, then I'll come. Okay, great. We would love to have you. Yeah, it's just been like new house ting is getting settled, just like loving the New Pargy vibe. Do you like change? Hate. Hate. Do you think you like change more or less than Claudia?

Claudia hates change too. No, I know. I think I handle change better than Claudia, but I don't know if I like it. You know? Yeah. Yeah. You don't like change? Like, I love it.

You do? I do. That's such a good quality. Like, I hate change. I'm like a creature of habit in like so many aspects of my life. exciting. That's so scary. So I'm just like loving being in a new environment and just all of the newness. That's crazy. Like to me I'm just like that I hear what you're doing and I'm like, holy shit, that's so much work. Yeah. Well, it was a lot of work. But now the fruits of my labor are paying

up. There's still like stuff a little like fun projects to do. I would say like the stuff that we have to do now is like fun like finding a cute sofa for the bedroom. Right, right, right. Like so I'm just taking my sweet time ordering a million fabric samples. So when I come like I still stay with you, yeah? I would love it. I would love it. Yeah. It's up to you. Like, we always switch or like bop around. Yeah, we bop around. That's true. So it's really up to you. Okay. Well, I feel like I'll have to because I like won't have been there yet. Like Olivia's house I'm familiar. Right, right, right. It will be like a fun and special thing. It'll be like new and like parge. Do the boys talk about me? Are they like, where's Miss Margo?

Um, you can say no. All the time. I mean, she did talk about you this morning. What'd you say? Would you say I'm going to talk to Ms. Margo? You just said that you weren't going to be here tonight for dinner. For dinner. Correct. I will not be there for dinner. So it's about the absence of Ms. Margo.

Oh, classic. I feel like that's always what you're talking about is the absence of Miss Margo. It's not too late for you to get on a flight. Make it for dinner. I'm going to make chili. There's just like no way. But like I love you and that's a really beautiful sentiment. But it's just going to have to be a note from me at the moment.

I'm making chili. I know. That's on. enough to get me there. I might even make cornbread. Sourdoughed cornbread? No, regular. Like the regular. Regular. You made something recently. What was it? Oh, the CPK tricolore salad. That was an inspired choice. Thank you so much for mentioning next. I didn't talk about it on the toast. Yes, I, my favorite menu item from California pizza kitchen is this tricorri salad, which was like an off menu item, but it was a salad on top of like a cheesy pizza crust and it was amazing. I don't think I ever ate anything else at

CPK because that was the only thing I ate. I guess I started with like the vegetable lettuce wraps and then that was so good so good and then like it started to become like not available at CPK and now like CPK is nowhere to be found there's one in Queens I had a paid brand deal oh love that so I don't know I had a bite of like a pizza last week that I was like oh my god this crust tastes like CPK pizza crust and I was like I should try and make that so I did my first attempt was really good and there are a couple things that I would do differently and I would totally make it again and it totally satisfied the craving.

It was so exciting. Oh my God, it looks so good. It looks small, but. Not a lot of people. Oh, no, it was huge. Really? Oh, the photo, it looked small. Oh, my God.

It was like way too, I didn't even eat all that crust. Oh, oh, okay. Yeah, I have a really big plate. That's why it looks like it fits on a plate but I have extra large plates. I understand. So I would highly recommend that.

And if you never had the trichloric, pizza at CPK, like I feel sorry for you. Me too. Like seriously. It was a sign of the times. It was. A couple people like DM me and they were like, oh my God, this brings me back. Yeah. Speaking of sign of the times, I went to Haree on Wednesday. Harry Styles. Yeah. It was fabulous, actually. Is that the concert that's on your story? Yeah. I didn't watch it yet. It's, it was from two days ago, so it's gone. I was just like, I actually remember I was walking through my room like trying to see what concert you were at and then something came up and it had to put my phone down. That's what happened to me. That's totally fair. I was in Harry's house.

Harish House, but not Harris House. No, no, no. This is together together. So Harry Styles could come on namesake. Harry Salis could come on namesake. That's true. What do you think about my podcast idea, namesake? I think it's so smart.

And also I feel like it comes up a lot, like where, like there's a lot of people, who was it recently, that you replied to my story. Charlie Pooke. Oh, Charlie Pooke. Yes. Yeah. Charlie Pooke. He's not Charlie Pookees.

Charlie Puth when he comes on namesake. Yeah, literally. That's the thing too, is that any like Harry's going to be like, oh, hi, Har. Harsh. Do you watch Dancing with the Stars? So no, but, like, I'm informed and I watch the clips and, like, I may as well. Do you know what I mean? Well, as long as you're informed.

I'm informed. Like, I have one of my friends who, like, is a psychotic dancing with the Stars fan and, like, keeps me up to date on every single thing. So I do know what is going on. What are you watching? I'm so glad you asked because I've been more. watching so much TV recently. Lioness, have you heard of it?

I heard about it. Everyone's talking about it. So good. So good. Okay. I watched that new Emmy Rossum show, Furious. Oh. Hate, like, seriously, when I tell you, I hated that show. And I didn't even realize how much I hated the show as I was watching. But now that I finished it and I've been sitting with it, I'm, like, been thinking about how much I hated that show.

And I'm upset that I wasted so much time on it. And also I went from Lioness to Furious. and the production budget on Lioness versus Furious was so much higher that it made Furious not enjoyable to watch. And then I just started The Diplomat. Okay. Yeah, I'm in like a weird like era of shows at the moment. You've been hanging out with Olivia. No, I mean like on such an Olivia vibe.

Yeah. Yeah. No. I started to watch like a Harlan Cobin one because she loves them like. Oh wow. Okay. Maybe you should stay at Olivia's when you come down. So you guys could have like movie night.

Yeah, it's so true. We do love a movie night when I stay there. Um, but yeah. Harlan Coben. Harlan COVID. And but I don't know the worst part. Do you want to know the worst part? Is that I started the show to watch it and I realized I've already seen it.

That is so Olivia. I know. Yeah. Fool me once or whatever. Um, so yeah, that's why I've been watching. But yeah, no, I'm not not like reality TV stuff, you know? Yeah, that's all I watch. I know.

And then like you ask me to explain reality TV stuff. Like you were so interested to be informed on Let's Marry Haars. I like didn't understand as like a, someone who was really not informed as an outsider and seeing some stuff online sometimes, I was so confused. So I went to my sister. And I explained it well. And she sent me voice notes and she explained it well.

That was a crazy time. Let's marry ours. Such a weird basis for a show. Yeah. It didn't have to be married. Like they didn't have, it could have been like. No, it could have just been a dating show. No, we're ended in engagement and you're going to marry.

Yeah, of course. And but he's with, he's still. with the other one. The girl that he met at his honeymoon, allegedly. Oh, I thought he was someone from the show, but just not the winner. No, not from the show. We don't know who it is, at least not in my, to my knowledge. Not cheering, it's not public.

I don't think so. Interesting. Maybe people have figured it out, but I don't know. And like, remind me, are you like a fan of Harry Jousy? So I was. And I am, but the show was not good for his image, I would say. and if his image was starting to be like rehabilitated before the show and in the early episodes of the show where it's like he's so serious and he wants to get married and he lost his dad

and it's making him realize he wants kids and a family and then like that's just not how it wound up right so it's kind of it was like hard to root for him I understand that's totally fair yeah so it's complicated like for us Harry fans it's it sounds complicated I feel I feel sorry for you guys that you have to take on that burden it's okay for small but mighty group. Even though discourse online is like that people are hating Cleveland, like I'm getting DMs being mad at me that I like Cleveland. And I'm like, well. So I like Cleveland. Well, actually, we have to talk about Patient Zero because we have to talk about what the songs about.

Patient Zero is about like, you know, somewhat her ex is at now X calls her and is like, you know, he did this happen to you. Yeah. And like bonding with your exes. And like, you know, I know because I was patient zero. And I'm like, really, you just got married. And your first song after your wedding is about some toxic ex relationship that whoever it is, it's certainly been played out a million times over.

Like that's really what we're leading with after like this joyous occasion. I know. like I want to like I want you like what I want from her is the similar vibe but completely opposite sentiment of you know that song stop the wedding yeah and it's like fun and whatever like I want that song but the happy version from Taylor post wedding that's what I want yeah or even like where's my husband but like that here's my husband yeah similar literally similar similar similar similar vibes. I love that, first of all, because it's really, you know, I really hate to go down this path because I don't agree with it, but it's really starting to like beg the question can like happy

Are you ready for our fifth and final story? I am. It's a little, I guess, lifestyle news because Barbie is getting some backlash. I want to get your thoughts. Have you seen this? I have. I just saw it this morning. I have.

The first ever Hanukkah Barbie sparks both outrage and excitement with her look, which includes a different nose than the other Barbies. you know, some saying a bigger nose. So this week, Mattel debuted its first official Hanukkah doll as part of the legacy toy brand's holiday sweaters collection. The $28 toy is part of the company's upcoming holiday sweater collection, which includes two other Barbies, one who's blonde, one who is black. They're dressed in red and green Christmas sweaters that light up when you press a hidden button.

They, you know, have Barbie's hair and shiny lips. The Hanukkah Barbie is a little different. first there okay like wait first there is her outfit she's wearing a blue sweater with a giant menorah baby blue jradles

and tiny snowflakes along with blue stars of David um she's also wearing what appears to be ugs and um she's got a shanaas I'm blind like Jackie I didn't see anything wrong with her nose

like it wasn't that big So here's what I will say. They obviously tweaked the nose because Barbie, like the other Barbie noses have all the same noses. No, it's like Barbie and they're like teeny tiny. Yeah. This one is different. This wasn't like a schnaz.

Like if you just showed me the doll and didn't say they like enlarge the nose or anything like and you just showed me this Hanukkah doll. First of all, she's beautiful. She's gorgeous. Like she kind of looks like me. It's like representation. And I do think she looks like a beautiful Jewish girl. And so like before all of this, if you just showed me they were making a Hanako doll,

you guys, anti-Semitism is so fucking bad. We don't need to look for shit like this. No, that's where I'm like, I think the words you are looking for are thank you. We're always fighting for inclusion. We just like want to be part of it. And like I don't think that they did this in a way to be anti-Semitic. I really don't.

Like it's fucking Barbie. And so I have no problem with this. Honestly, of the bigger issue is that like I feel like, like I'm not obsessed with like her outfit. I don't like any of their outfits. That's what Christmas and holiday sweaters are. They're ugly. It's ugly Christmas sweater.

Fine. That's so true. Yeah, no, guys, I have no problem with this. And, like, again, it's not like it's a crazy schnauz that it's, like, offensive. No, it's not like a hook nose like Macomore wore. Literally, exactly. Like, it's, it's just, it looks like a regular nose to me. Like.

Yeah, I think. Maybe you put it obviously side by side, but like I wasn't doing that. They definitely, like, stepped into some stuff, like, trying to like, you know, get into, like, features and whatnot. and they could have just like done the same face and the sweater. But they like try to be authentic. I don't know. They're like damned if they do,

damned if they don't. I'm just happy that there's a Hanukkah Barty. She's beautiful. And I really hope that this doesn't like hinder them from like doing more. Yeah. I think everybody like calm down. I can give you a list of things to go be offended about instead. But the only other thing I'll say is that Barbie is Jewish.

The founder of Barbie Ruth Handler is Jewish. And I think she like made the dolls like it was. for her daughter. So why you got to make Barbie Jewish if she's already Jewish? You know what I mean? Why should you change her face if the original bar, if that face is the U.S.? Yeah, it's, that's an original. So I actually, that sort of bothers me more because now you're saying, oh, Barbie was never Jewish and here is a Jewish Barbie. That's erasure. That's erasure. Now we're getting into erasure. And now we're getting to a rachier, which I find disgusting. Yeah. Which like, okay, never mind. Like, you're wrong for me.

Like you're telling the wrong story because Barbie is a Jewess. Jewess. But no, other than that, like, she, this is beautiful. And if she were, like, really ugly and busted, it would be different. If she looks like the face that Maclemore did, like, that Jew face, like, then that's, that's what we're acting like it is. And it's quite literally not. It's not at all.

So I think it's really cute. And thank you so much for including us in your holiday collection. And we're just happy to be here. And that's all, really. I wish Claudia were here today. Yeah, I've just been like struggling with that. Everyone who listens knows how it's struggle. With like calling somebody a weenie. Yeah. Yeah. Because like people did far worse things but they're actually like too bad. Yeah. Like weenie's supposed to be funny.

And then it's like if you get all serious, it's like you've missed the point. From a weenie perspective, I have to think about that. But I have my queenie and like I'm really like I feel like it's a really good one. Okay, who's your queenie? Lily Reinhardt. I don't know if you guys have spoken about her on the show this week, but have you, like, been seeing her press tour looks? I saw one of them that was President's daughter.

Yeah. And then I saw a headline that she's, like, making iconic rom-com looks like her press tour looks. And she's fucking eating down, yo. Like, she is crushing. Did you read The Love Hypothesis? You did. Oh, I did.

I'm very excited for the movie. I feel like it's going to be really good. But on this press store, she's been recreating these iconic moments and she's been doing such a good job. She looks like so unbelievably pargy. Like in she just looks amazing right now. And like her looks have been so gorgeous. And like I've just been eating it up. And it's really just like, in my opinion, queenie behavior.

That's beautiful. Yeah. My queenie will be Claudia for announcing. Oh, yeah. That's sweet. and, you know, how hard she's been working. That's really sweet. To make it through.
