People in the streets. Like, it's literally, you know that scene in 500 days of summer when he finally gets laid and he leaves the house and there's like a musical going on outside? There's like a flash mob. The birds are chirping. that's what it is. First of all, it's just like gorgeous outside. Every single person is like in an amazing mood. There's a real like familial sort of energy. Like everybody's high fiving. Everybody knows their merch. Literally. Literally. Like fist pounding, you know, you see businessmen. Non-businessmen. Like, it's electric. That's so beautiful. It really is. I'm like getting really

swept up in it. Do you feel like a part of something major? Because you are. Yeah. And I know you had to go back for like other things, but you actually like had to be there for this moment. Of course. No, Ben was it was not an option to stay in Florida one minute longer. No, no, no. You have to be there and like experience the camaraderie and the community. The next one on Friday night. And then tonight is game three. So they're up to zero. You have to, it's the first one to four. Yes. The next two games are at home. So like I don't see how the Knicks don't sweet Nixon four. Like I don't know how they lose two games and we're at home. Like they're on. You're on. You're on. You're on. The next two games. You're on. You're on. obviously winning tonight. Like there's so much excitement. Yeah, but sometimes like when you have everything at your back, like that's when it goes wrong. But also wouldn't it be fun if they don't win in for it? They win still the series,

but there's more games like in this feeling goes longer. Like yes, but then they win in Kansas. Where's the game of San Antonio? Which is like not so the vibe. Yeah, they should win here. It behoots them to win here. And they need to win here because not only are they like prize to win, but they're also currently on track to match.

to match the NBA record. So they have not lost a game in, I think, maybe 12, this is their 12th win in a row in the playoffs. The last time that happened, and the only other time it happened was 2017 with the Golden State Warriors. So if they win the next two, they will match the record for like 14 games in a row.

So it's kind of like, they sort of like have to. For history and for her story. And for Benstery. Like there's no option. other than winning these next two games. How is Benstery? My husband is like living in a dream. Like he has never been in a better mood.

He's a delight to be around. Like it's affecting all like business social. Like every he's firing on all cylinders. He's literally never ever been happier. And you know what? It's infectious. Like I'm into it. Like let's fucking go.

I'm watching like edits on TikTok like Hamilton. Alexander Hamilton like is Jalen Brunson reincarnated? Like I'm so in it. I see that. everything I do is for the Knicks. Like I just, people in New York are just, we're not okay. And I say, wait, yeah, I'm in it. It's very exciting.

And I feel like other cities, they get this a lot. And maybe they've taken it for granted. And there's a lot of different sports where you could get it. I guess, like, New York always has like the Yankees. The Yankees like stay winning. But it's different. No, it's not. Like, this is so different.

Yeah. No, but it's, it's very, very cool to see. Yeah. Very cool to see. And like, we were out and about all weekend. Like, everyone. first of all, we only dressed Foo in like his Nix merch and all the kids, everyone at the park, everything is Nix.

Like it's just. Nix mania. It's Nix mania. It's so much fun. Like this is the most fun I've ever had. It's just beautiful. I'm really happy for my husband. I'm happy for him too.

Like you feel ready for something. Right, right. It feels almost like sticky and it's like stick to me makeup. Yep. But like I was just like a radiant glowing ball. By the way, you have to at the like end of the day before you take your makeup off, show everyone what your makeup looks like. I will.

Like with the back camera flash. But also yesterday I wore just the primer because I was like really curious. They were just sitting there. And I just wore skin makeup yesterday like to go have a day. And I came home. I took my makeup off. I took my shower, whatever. Then I used my toning pads.

And I had so much makeup on the toning pads still. Like the makeup didn't come off because it was so stuck on. Love that. So it does. does what it says it's going to do. That's beautiful. Yeah, it was a very fun way to start my week. We have so much to do today, Love Island, Friday and Sunday nights. We have two episodes to recap. We're both fully caught up. That's also fun. I'm a part of that too. I'm just like a part of a lot of group things. And, you know, tonight, my two group things are sort of conflicting with one

and others. This is actually second time where the NBA finals and Love Island are on at the same time. Like, it's not even a question. The finals. Obviously. And then are you going to watch Love Island in time for two? tomorrow's show. I don't know. The games start at 830, which means they actually start at 8.45. Like, they're ending so late. Like, I'm probably, don't look for me tomorrow for a Love Island recap. And I feel like the episode after a recoupling is like never that crazy. For me, last night was the recoupling. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Oh, the episode after a recoupling. It's always like sort of low key. I can skip that one. But we're getting three new bombshells.

I know we're getting three new bombshells. But like, unfortunately. No, no, it is what it is. I'm not like other girls. I'm literally Baya. Like, I have to watch sports. No, I, it would be nice to get my night back. You know, it's like, oh, so then I don't have to watch if Claudia's not watching. But the thing is if I don't watch it tonight, like, that means I have to watch to the next night, like, which I actually physically can't do. I know. So I have to stay on top of the schedule because if I fall back, I am never catching up.

Yeah. So I guess I'm still going to watch tonight because otherwise it's over for me if I, if I lose my spot. Yeah, you can't get like too far behind. Yeah. And I hear you and I empathize with you, but like I kind of have no choice. No, no, I, we all have to do what's right. I'm not saying watch it. I'm just saying I still have to watch it.

Otherwise, I'm going to be watching three hours of Love Island the next night. I don't have, I don't have that sort of time. Time on your hands. No, I get it. I get it. So, like, we got a late bedtime over here. Try being a TV rack recap it for a day. Try it.

Yeah. So. And I get a chance to watch your husband as Rhode Island. Like being an avid sports fan, like, and I'm sure most of you girl listeners don't understand this because you're not like me. But like, it's exhausting. It's a full-time commitment being like such a big fan of. sports. I know, but like you do it for the love of sports. You couldn't like stop if you tried.

Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. Let me tell you what I did this weekend. Tell me. I manage. I know everyone's like kind of clamoring to get Nick's tickets. I was able to get tickets to the gazillion bubble show. What a show. It was fucking insane. Now I'd actually been to the gazillion bubble show with food when he was in utero. This time he was outer row. Oh. my God. It was, it was literally insane. Like the art and the culture in this town is just, it's unmatched. The gazillion bubble show was so fucking sick. I love bubbles. Like, I think, we went for me. They're very exciting. Bubbles are magic. Like, and then of course, I bought, like, at the merch stand, like a bubble gun and I was in the park yesterday, like doing bubbles. Like, but I tell you,

we went for me. Bubbles are the most magical thing, like, on the planet. Like, bubbles is kind of life and Knicks of course. That's the theme of your weekend. Bubbles and Nix. Did Ruby like the show? Oh yeah, he was fine. But Mama liked it. No, he did. He really liked it, but I was dazzled. You were loving it. It's like, they told the story. It was a little bit different than the last time we were there.

They told the story, it's like a family-owned show. And like each like sibling, because we saw it with the guy, Danny. Yeah, was he there? No, it was a girl. I think it was Danny's sister. And guess what? She was wearing Giovanni. I recognized. I clocked that jumpsuit. Oh, so it's not Danny. Jenny, right? I think it was Danny.

I think his name was Denny. Okay, well, I saw his sister. Just as magical. Just as brilliant. Just as amazing. They've all got the talent, the bubble bug. A thousand percent. And then I also went to the park, just like, you know.

Local things. Played mahjong, obviously. Actually played mahjong at night, which is my least favorite thing to do. But my New York friends, like, it's hard to get a game going during the day. Like they like to play after bedtime. I thought you had a game every day. I do, I do. But like it's hard.

Like getting that fourth, it's hard to accrue all four. Oh, okay. I played and I was just like, I got the sense like nobody wants to play with me anymore. I won about, I won five times like out of eight games

and one of them was a wall game. So it's like I'm kind of becoming too good where I feel like I'm going to stop being invited places. Or you have to like find better people to play with. No, no. I play with a very. I run in a fabulous circle of Mahjong,

like very competitive group. But like if you found the best, person in every, like, I think maybe you need like another level of game. You know where I think you and I would personally thrive? Because like, we're obviously a part of the new generation of mahjongers, but especially in the Jewish community, everyone's moms play. I think we need to start playing with the moms. Yeah, and they've been playing forever.

They play with money too, so they're like a much more competitive. And I've decided, yeah, I've decided I don't want to play with money because I have no interest in playing with money. I mean, I have some interest, but I just know. know myself. Like when I lose, I take it, like Ben can tell the second I walk in the door whether I lost or I won because like it affects my mood. I take it so personally. And then let's add losing money on top of it. No. And it's like not enough money to win that like makes the losses less painful. And I just think it would take the fun out of it. Like I really do. I agree.

Yeah. I am not interested in that. Me neither. But what I am interested in is just sliding the house down boots on this episode. What are the stories like where are we doing the TV recap? Like tell me at the end because like not everyone watches Love Island. Um and it's not like one where we're like bursting at the, you know, sometimes like we're bursting and we can do the TV recap at the end. And then the stories are, you know, the happenings of the weekend, really. Tony Awards? No. Oh, Whitney Leavitt was kind of like, you know, she was on Broadway, of course, but something about like Chicago, the musical is like a little. It's fraudway. No, it's not Broadway. It's just like very mainstream. It's like a show that also goes

on tour. It's not like high art. Right. And so when you think of the tonies, you think of like really like, you know, Leah Michelle, Rachel Zegler, like the real bells of the ball. But let me tell you, like... You think of people whose names we don't know. Right. When I tell you, like, I watched a bunch of clips. Like Whitney was very much... She's the toast of the town. Her in the mix.

She's the toast of the town. She was in a performance like with Queen Latifah, like a bunch of Broadway legends. The community is very much welcoming. her. I think like in some like industries like the new girl from reality TV who's an influencer like the Mormon from Utah who's trying to make it in New York. They would very much look down upon her but I feel as though like they've welcomed her with open arms. She literally performed with pink. Yeah. That's crazy. And Darren Chris. It's crazy that she's really the toast of the town. I was saying that like it's crazy also that like coming from where she came from like as an influencer

like Mormon wife that Broadway is like welcome. It's the opposite. She is the diamond of the season. Yeah. And I didn't know if she was a diamond of the season to just the fans or if like the industry like had welcomed her and they definitely have. Yeah, they definitely have. No, but we'll be discussing other happenings of the weekend if we may. There's a lot.

There's, I mean, oh my God, I have to tell the group something so sad happened to me this weekend. Like actually like it's very upsetting. You're not going to understand how upsetting it was. My starter. my sourdough starter, it was in a glass mason jar, it fell on the floor. Oh.

And it broke. And I get it. I didn't, I don't have any discard in the fridge. Like, that's the end of my starter. Okay, but isn't Olivia's starter a cousin of yours? It is. Olivia's starter is a descendant of my starter. And I will be taking some of her starter.

But like, I just know, like, how I get. Is that the same starter from like when you started your journey? When I started my starter, yes. And both of them are descendants of ballerina farms, Willa. sourdough. But like, you know, I've like been feeding mine consistently every day for two years. Like I know she does hers too, but it's like I knew what mine was. And now I'm taking someone else's starter. Your starter's not starting on my sourdough. It's kind of akin to like losing a pet, honestly. No, it was. It was so sad. Two years. Was there anyone you could have blamed? Like did Zach leave the

cabinet door in a weird way? Or was it your fault? A little bit of everyone's fault. It was my fault because I took it out and I left it on the counter because I was like doing the dishes, but I was going to start a loaf right after. And in the time that I was doing the dishes, like one of the children knocked it over. But like there shouldn't have been a glass jar in their reach. So what, where'd you leave it? Like on the peninsula in my kitchen, like across from the, you know. Sink.

Yeah. Isn't that a good word for what that is? A peninsula, it juts out. It connects to the rest of my kitchen, but it's not an island. Oh, I was thinking of the island. No, that's an island. But a peninsula is something that's connected to land. Oh, I see.

So the thing that's connected still to the kitchen sink? The, like the L, the L shit. Yeah, that's called a peninsula. I just, I really wouldn't blame yourself. It's like a very normal place to leave stuff. Yeah, no, and it was like literally for five minutes while I finished putting the dishes away. It just, it was a tragic accident. And it was so upsetting.

But I'm like, Olivia's. I'm going to come back, but like. You're taking it surprisingly well. What a choice do I have? Well, you do need to kind of figure it out because we do rely on you over the summer to, with creak loaves to the whole family. So I'll get some of the starter. I'll get some of,

and it's like, it's crazy. I take my starter to the Hamptons. Like I've, you know, it's been so many places. It's a well-traveled. It couldn't survive my peninsula on a Sunday morning. I know you also gave it to Rebecca. I was thinking that too because she doesn't sourdough that often.

And when she does, she like posts it and her starter grows so much. And it's like a, it's very much a descendant of mine as well. So I was thinking I could take hers when I come to New York. But I really could take a little of these. I don't know why. I'm like, I quizzed her last night.

I'm like, how to treat your starter? When do you feed it? What do you do? Right. No, it's very personal. It's like trading children, honestly. Also, sourdough mamas will get this. And Ben did it too.

When you feed your starter, I always put it in a new jar every single time I feed it. But some people just dump some of their old out and then feed it in their existing jar. Yeah. I don't love that. Does Olivia do that? She says she does, but that, well, she says that she does, but she also renews it as well. I don't really have choices here. So, Olivia, right.

I'm lucky to get her. Like, literally, I'm so. blessed that I have someone down the street with a descendant. And you could have just picked some of the starter off the floor and like throw it in the jar? Well, I thought about it, but like there's glass particles. Like, yeah. That's so unsafe. Yeah, yeah, I agree.

I agree. It was, yeah, it was really bad. I'm really sorry that you're going through that. Thank you. I'm just going to pick myself up and dust myself off. We're so matching today. We didn't even notice. Like, okay.

I love just like a sensible shoe these days. I love a sensible shoe. I like, I don't know if I'm ever going to wear high heels, ever again. I was thinking about high heels. The other day because I saw someone wearing high heels in the middle of the day and I was like, why? Why? Yeah, I had a similar thought when I was at the mall in Florida. I saw a girl wearing back her shorts and heels.

And I thought maybe she was doing either like a form of exercise because it is like a leg workout or she was trying to to break him in for like a big event that night because it was such a crazy outfit like a sports bra bikers shorts and a pair of stilettos like insane. And I also got to thinking, but you know, when I was pregnant, my sister-in-law got married, my machete's son and him sister. And I obviously needed like a pair of heels, but I was literally almost nine months pregnant. So I bought like a very expensive, well-made pair of kitten heels. When I say kitten, I mean genuine kitten. It's literally a ballet flat with like a little something on the heel. And you know what? I love it. I love it. They're like a slingback.

That's my idea of a wild time. Because that way you still get like, I don't even need the height because like obviously I'm short. I'm not fooling anyone. I don't need the height of a heel. I need like the sort of pointy, elegant toe like peeking out of a dress or a pair of slacks. And a kitten heel is grossly underrated. I exclusively wear kitten heels.

I think the only time I ever wear it like a heel again is, you know, a wedding or a black tie affair. But I am done. I'm, what are we doing, ladies? I agree, I'm done. Half the time when you're wearing heels, like, it doesn't look good. Wow, okay, harsh words. You know what I mean?

No, who are you talking about? Like, there's a time and a place. I agree. So the other half of the time, it's just not the vibe. You're killing yourself for what? Well, that's the other thing. You're like immobile. You can barely walk.

Joy is. important and like comfort and peace and love like those things I think matter more sometimes than like stunting yeah yeah but maybe it's just reflective of the era that we're in and like maybe there was a time in my life where I cared more about like looking the absolute best snatch tallest that I possibly could oh I'm not having fun oh I can't get up it doesn't matter I look amazing yeah but now that's obviously not the mindset that I no definitely like that's my mindset right now I wonder if like it will change one day. It probably will.

But, and there are certain looks that, like, you absolutely have to wear a heel for, like, like a pencil dress, you know? Of course. Like, what are you going to wear it flat? No, of course. You know? But, I was really just thinking about it.

Like, I'm done. Done. It's honestly, like, very feminist of us. It's very liberating. You know, because a man invented the high heel. Yeah, right. And it's like, this is our version of, like, shaving our armpits, you know?

Yeah, or like not wearing a bra. Or like having our nipples out. No, we'll just like flats and sneakers until I die. Kitten heels. Kitten heels. Like get yourself a really good pair of kitten heels. It's one of the best things I've done for myself. Yeah, I have a nice little, um,

I'm paying attention to the outfits. I'm on the aloe yacht. Like, that's where my ass is. That's what I care about. That's what I was following. To Alex, Jake and Stasi baby. Yep. One miss baby.

It was like a little bit confusing. And I don't really understand how like aloe just about. as this enormous expense when like it took me a while to figure out that these three were on an aloe brand trip like it was not very aloe forward right and i don't know that i saw a piece of aloe merchandise no i saw the logo a couple of times like on the boat and like on a towel but i maybe they also have been like working out on the boat oh i think i did maybe jake chain on a coal plunge yeah yeah all is that to say like that's where breton trips like kind of confused me um i don't know like how that really i guess it really did like differentiate aloe as like from

Yes, no, but it's like when you think of like, like I keep seeing all these like group photos of the wags. I'm like, where's Kylie? Like just the way that they engage with the team, it feels like she's a wag, but she's obviously not. I hope Chloe met someone. Like I don't know what Chloe's relationship status is. And I feel like she keeps it like very tight to the best.

But as far as I know she like hasn't dated her had sex in years, that's what she said on keeping up or whatever the show is called. And I don't know that like I want her to be dating an athlete. But like there's lots of eligible people who fly to the south of France or wherever this is for this event. lots of businessmen, lots of wealthy individuals, you know, investment bankers, things of that nature, businessmen, Beau. It's like, she didn't meet someone at the Bezos wedding.

Like, where is it going to happen? Or the Ambani wedding. Yeah, she gets to go everywhere. Yeah, with all the eligible, you know, Scooter and Sydney met. Like, you could meet some. Is that where they met at Jeff Bezos wedding? Based on what we know, yeah. That was like the first time they were seen together.

They were like in a group of like random friends. Right, right, right, right, right. That is. To go shopping. Like, yes, yes, yes. So I just feel like she's there, but is she really there? Is she really being present? Yeah, she's physically there.

Emotionally, I feel like she's probably back in Hidden Hills. Yeah, and she's like on FaceTime with her daughter. You know what? She is who she is. Like, leave her alone. She's happy. You know who, like, kind of feels like a great guy for her? Uh.

Someone who's recently gotten dumped. I don't know. Someone who's recently gotten dumped from the villa? Sean, devoted father. Sean law enforcement officer like I can't open up the Sean box right now I know I won't be able to go back okay and like the Sean box is like firmly like in the files next to the Jalen box I cannot open the Sean box right now unless if you want the show to go on it's only story number one no no no no no I'm putting the Sean box over here okay um tape it up Monaco Grand Prix and it's funny because the Monaco Grand Prix was same weekend as Belmont Steaks again just like the Derby and ever F1. We're the same weekend last time. I also feel like I wasn't closely following this event. It felt very out of reach.

Like I don't really understand what Formula One is. I don't 100% know where Monica is on a map. Like this whole thing felt like so 1% to me to the point where like I actually just like I couldn't. I couldn't really follow it because I wasn't even cheer what I was following. Yeah. It's hard enough to follow like the one in Miami. Yeah. And it was like a driving race, but everybody watched from their boats.

Like it was seriously so hunger games. Like I don't even know what the hell these people are doing. It's like fancy NASCAR, like Italian NASCAR. It's definitely European driving. It's European NASCAR, but they compete in Miami sometimes, once a year? Yeah, like, honestly, I'm not even, oh, you know the World Cup is in New York? I think I didn't know that. And I had no idea.

It's at MetLife Stadium. And somebody just, like, offered me tickets to a match. And I was like, no, thanks. I don't need to go see France versus Senegal. And then I found out it's like the most important match. I was like, I thought, when I saw the email, I was like, oh my God, yeah, of course, I'd love to go see, like, America. Like, I'd root for my team. And they were like, it's the two o'clock France versus Senegal match. And I'm like, oh, I was like, I'm good, thanks. And then I was telling like one of Ben's friends. They're like, no, that's like a sick match. And I'm sure the America match is not sick. Yeah, like, we stink at soccer. But like, like, I wouldn't go for America. Like, it's exciting. Yeah. When does it start? I have no idea, but that was like how I even found out that it was happening right next to the American Dream Mall. Well. Maybe you can make a day of it. Yeah.

Well, the place looks great. Can't say well without saying that. I know. So like cute, um, cuteness. Cuteness in Monaco and like, you know, French Riviera summer is starting. I feel like this was like the opening, the cutting of the ribbon for French summer. Your friend who doesn't have a job is in Europe and you're going to spend the next couple of weeks wondering how she paid for it. like that time starts now.

Yeah. So clock in. Yeah. Our next story is something else that happened this weekend that has reached me. And now I can officially say that Garrett Graham has reached me because the actor Belmont Camelli was a big weekend for the Belmont. Yeah. His name is Phil.

Phil? Yeah. But why am I reading Belmont Camelli? No, like that's his name, but like kind of like his birth name, like his name is Phil. Is he Garrag Graham? I just found that out. Is he Garret Graham? Yeah, Garrett Graham, the actor.

Belmont, his name is Phil. You're going to have to explain. Am I not speaking English? His name is Phil? Like, you know how celebrities change their names? So why is India today calling him Belmont Camelli? That's his sage name, like, Lady Gaga. Like, his name is Phil.

Oh, like his, the name he doesn't want us to know. Like how. Emma Stone is Emily? Yeah, or what's the guy, Tucker? Sombor? The other one. Oh, oh, oh, role model. Role model. They're the same person. Yeah, his name is Philip Belmont-Kamele.

Okay, okay. But like, let him have his cute stage name. Stop. No, I'm, I've turned on him like 100%. Okay, wait. Let me just read the story because actor Philip Belmont-Kamele brought his Garrett-Gram moves to the Kid Luray concert and fans are losing it. No, they're not. Like, we are not losing it. Claudia, I have seen this video so many times on my feed. There's two videos. The people are flipping for this video. And now the first time I saw the video. I actually saw like one of my mom friends posted that. That's what I saw it. And I was

like, I had no idea what I was watching. I was like, is that Justin Bieber? I was like, maybe her husband like works with Justin Bieber or something. And I, I just moved on. I was like, she obviously was just like supporting her husband. And then I kept seeing it with like Garragram, Wicked Witch. And I was like, oh. Carried. Oh, Garne Reed. Benz, Benz and Wood. And West Wilson. And like, and it's Kid Leroy who does look like Justin Bieber. And he had this like viral moment like dancing at the kid Leroy. And dancing off campus. Yes. Okay. So the thing it off campus is like a music is like a huge part of it. She's a music major. They like bond over music and they use like real music.

Like they talk about like real artists. Like it's a cute little thing and he dances a little bit. And like every time he dances, it's like so cute. And he's obviously like a good dancer. And I feel like he's seen the fan edits that like people like when he dances. And I just, I really don't like this. And I was actually arguing with Tinks in the DMs because she was like, I saw Tinks had like a firm take in opposite direction. And so I literally damned her. I'm like, I've never disagreed with her so much. She was like, this is just like him being like,

we should be encouraging people to be like fun and free and dance. And it's like, yes, I actually agree with her philosophy on that. But I don't see that as this. Like I saw there's two videos. He was dancing like nobody's watching. Like you actually felt like he was dancing because everybody's watching. Well, because TikTok was watching and he was ready. He's like, oh, here's my next edit.

So there's two videos, first of all. And both are like ones worse than the next. The first is like at the actual concert. He's like with the kid LaRoy like dancing, pulling up his shirt showing his abs. Like, ick, egg, egg, egg, egg. Then there's the second where they like made a TikTok to like the song that was playing at the concert.

And he's like doing this like cringy ass dance move. It might be like a dance move from the music video. I'm not sure. I don't know the reference. Okay. But I just don't like it. And it's giving like, you know, it's nice when people like don't know how good looking they are.

And now he's, I mean, he has no choice. Like he's just had a front row seat to his own close up. And everyone's obsessed and everyone like they love his. dancing. They love his smile. They love his abs. So he did all of it like in three videos. And it was I'm sorry, I thought it was corny. I thought it was cringy. That's not how my Garrett Graham would act. Like Garrett would never. This is Phil. Oh, and then I found out his name was Phil. And I'm like, okay, you're doing a lot for like somebody named Phil. I just, I don't like it. I don't like it. And maybe this is my brain's way of coping, like, you know, rejecting him before he can reject

me. Because like the obsession is real. But I just, it felt in Congress with Garrett. It was like a little too much and it was very hey look at me i didn't like it do you want to know my objective thoughts as someone who has no idea what's going on here and who you're going to love it and who garrett is and who belmont phil is and like i just saw this video like as if i was an alien who came down from space yes you and you are our in-house alien i am the in-house alien i thought it was like really cool cool i thought it was cool i was like yeah this is a cool i understood why like if people liked him to begin with how then watching this video like there's a lot of like him lifting his shirt there was a lot of I didn't see I I just saw the moves I wasn't like breaking down each move okay now he lifts his shirt

now he's way I just saw the whole thing flow together and there was flow and there was Riz and I was like oh this guy's got charisma and this is also someone like in a long term relationship like imagine if this was Ben acting like that like I'm sorry you have to act like a little bit respectful when you have I'm just like I'm just becoming a hater sorry it's just so funny right when you turn on Garrett I'm ready to defend it him. And I just want to say about off campus. People are like, why does Jackie hate off campus? The point is, I don't know off campus. I don't hate off campus.

I don't know what's in there. And I actually think if I watch it, I would like it based on like my interest. The more I think about it, I actually also think you would like it. It's not that I hate off campus. I don't even know anything about it to hate it. My issue was more so with the culture that it's like, oh, you didn't watch this weekend. Then you have no way. And then next weekend it's something else and else.

And it's like, well, we're just supposed to all just like binge watch shows every single weekend or else you don't know what's going on. And like the last show that you watch is irrelevant now. Like it's just too much content. And like I hate that part of the culture. Yeah, I agree. But you're only punishing yourself by like not watching this particular show because I actually now think you would like it. I'm not not watching it because I am boycotting it or something. Like I physically can't watch it. I'm watching Love Island every night. Yeah, it's true. I can't watch. You would have had to have watched it before Love Island. Yeah, I can't watch off campus right now. And if I had the time, I think I would watch it.

I think I would like it. It's more so just like this constant like, oh, this is the new thing. Binge, yeah. Like can't something sustain, you know? No. Where will Garrick Graham be in five years? I worry. I worry about that.

Hopefully he'll be on the Bruins. I think they call this flash in the pan. Not Garrickram. Belmont. Where will Belmont be? Oh. Well, this is always interesting when like a young show pops off like this, the potential that it has for the stars. A lot of times, you know, it has the Riverdale effect.

We're like after season two of Riverdale, nobody even watches a show. But a lot of those, Cammy Mendez, a lot of them, Cole Sprauss, are sort of big, I would say, they have careers now,

like outside of it. Sometimes one of these flash in the pan, big time, YAA shows, like you never see or hear from these people ever again. Yeah.

So I will be curious to see what happens with all the, like the breakout stars. Yeah. Of which there are probably four or five. So you're not into

Belmont. I didn't like what I saw. at the Kidlo-Roy concert. No. And it's just like a little too on the nose. It's not mysterious. It's like, oh, you guys, like when I dance and you like my abs, let me pull up my shirt and shake my hips.

It's like, okay, that's for girls. Stop. I don't know all the backstory. I thought he had nice moves. People were having fun. He does. He has nice moves. People looked cool.

It was cool looking. I didn't think they looked cool. I thought it was cool. And I do like, I don't know if I'm in the minority, though, with thinking it's an if. I like, let's applaud. Embrace. dancing in public showing off your moves and having fun.

But that's to me like not what he was doing. He was like performing. I understand. I don't feel like he was lighting his hair down. I love what she said and I agree with that. We should. At the camera that's right there. It's not like he was caught.

And he's like lifting up his shirt and like I fucking the lens. Like I like what she said and I agree as a culture like we don't like embrace this. Especially with men like yeah, have fun dance. Whatever. Who cares? But this was not giving like Drew Barrymore in the rain. It wasn't giving carefree. Like I don't care.

thinks it's giving i'm performing for what everybody thinks what about if this inspires other men even though his intentions maybe weren't pure for you but what if it inspires other people to get out there and dance well if that is the rip current you know the effect i'll be okay with it but this is only affecting women that's what i'm saying like we're just we're not changing any hearts or minds of young men understood this is a women's issue understood our next story Ariana Grande started her tour this weekend, Eternal Sunshine. She is on tour. I sort of missed that.

I didn't know that that was happening. I actually had no idea this was happening too. Last I heard from her regarding this. She doesn't like touring. She's going to Broadway. She's an actress. Okay, wait, I'm going to come back to music soon. And then she put out a song last week.

Which I actually really liked that song. It's all over by TikTok. Now there's a tour with tickets purchased and everything. And it's on. and it's kicked off in Oakland, California. Yeah. Could I ask a question just like for the, are we commenting on women's bodies or not?

Yeah, no, we're talking about this holistically. Yes, we are. Because I feel really conflicted when people talk about Ariana Grande. Because like, to me, I'm the type of person. I'm like, well, let's state the obvious. Like, she looks so sick. Like, she looks really, really unhealthy and very scary.

This is going to be such a hot take. Like, I don't know if the world's ready for it. But I also feel like if we're doing that, it has to a plot. Like if we're going to be like we're intervening because this is a health issue. I feel like the movement of like women's bodies like, I don't know how to say this in a way that's like not going to get me canceled. Give a shot. We can always cut it out. Okay.

If we are going to like have these conversations, which I am down for like I don't think we should ignore this person who's very clearly sick. Like if we're going to have those conversations about extreme weight, we also should be having those conversations about. that extreme weight on the other end. Like I think that we kind of encourage and applaud people who are sickly in the other way. And like we can't say that, right? But we have to say for Ariana Grande, like she's sick. Yeah.

Like it's, it is two extremes and they're not treated equally. So like I always feel kind of weird being like, she looks so skinny, she looks unhealthy, because it's like you would never say it about the opposite and they are both equally valid health issues. Yeah. You know? So I don't really ever like make like big statement.

Like I don't really get involved, but like yeah, she looks really bad and really scary. And it's, I can't even watch it. It makes me feel sick. Yeah. And I think when she was doing press for Wicked and she's doing a movie, like it's, you know, little bits of... You're easy to be like more staged, more covered up.

And also it's like smaller bits of work. We're walking down a red carpet. We're sitting for an interview. You know, a movie is all cut up. A tour is such a physically demanding thing. Even when you're at the peak of physical fitness. And tours are hard for everybody. Everybody cancels midway through, you know, mental health, physical health,

everything. to start your tour in a place like this is so scary. Like how is she getting through these shows? How is she going to do dozens of these shows? It reminds me in Taylor's documentary, she talked about how in the 1989 tour she had like a severe eating disorder. And now when you look back, she's like real thin.

But I think at the time she didn't look sick. Like we always just thought she was like this tall and lanky girl. She also had always been thin. We didn't really realize that she's thinner than usual. And it wasn't like so. She's always like just been naturally thin to us. But she said like at the end of the shows like she would be so lightheaded like really having a hard time seeing and like dizzy and her balance. So I don't know how Ariana who I think is in a much more extreme state.

Much more. I don't know how she's physically able to do it. Yeah. She looks so scary to me and I feel so sad for her. I think like people forget like she's been through so much. Like the fact that she's still performing standing like after Manchester. Mm-hmm.

The fact that she still lives a public life after Mac Miller. Like this is a person who's been through, like so I can't even blame her for struggling and I don't know like what we're supposed to do or say. Like I have no idea. And I'm sure she has people around her who are having these. No, it's not a secret. It's not like she doesn't know.

I think maybe some people thought Trinity was going to choose him. But like honestly, I'm really shipping Trinity and Bryce. No, me too. They're definitely friends.

But he, I think he was quaking when Trinity was like, we haven't had a lot of conversations. I thought she was going to pick Sean for a second. And I don't want to see Bryce go home. It was sad to see both of them up on the chopping block. I have such a bad feeling about this new bombshell that like, the thing about Kenzie is I liked her in the beginning. It's hard to watch someone consistently be so dumb that, like,

Like, I can't really refer. She makes really bad decisions. Now, this was entirely out of her control because Corbyn, like, got to choose. But she said she was going to choose him anyway. Which I'm glad that we got to know who she was going to choose. And I'm glad that it was Corbyn because it doesn't mean Sean could have stayed and didn't stay. And like, I'm very happy, even though I think she's a fool that she was going to choose Corbin. She's a fool.

She's a fool. I'm glad that things happened the way that they would have happened. And that's that. Now, the people here, like, don't deserve Sean. Like, Sean makes me heart sick. Like the fact that he quit his job. six years of police force work. I know it was like five in California and like one there.

Okay. And that he has like nothing to go back to. He doesn't have like an influencer career to speak of, you know, because he was only there for a couple of days. Like I feel sick. And I imagine like going on the show with a kid is hard. Like how you launch that to this group of immature morons like is difficult. And I think like hiding it and sort of it's entrapment. Like I think there's I think the only right way to do it is the way he did it. And I think he was punished for it because like this group like can't even imagine dating somebody with a child. He doesn't get enough credit for like day one being like I'm a dad like so proud. He never hit it for.

two seconds. Ariana's saying that her son would be so proud of him, like was an extremely bizarre thing to say. He like seriously flopped and like like was like slimed and like made out with a bunch of like random people he didn't know on TV. But okay. And I was getting upset because on the challenge, which actually I think the challenges are mostly stupid, but the challenge on Friday was like I was sat. First of all, the Melanie v. Kada. It's what we've been asking for. It's what we've been asking for. When Anaya said that her office crush was Sean, I, there was like a spark of hope that like these two who I hadn't even considered as a couple as the only two normal people on this show, they're perfect for each other. And I'm devastated that they didn't get a chance.

I wish she had, I don't think she's very outgoing. I think she's maybe a little shy. So like the fact that she's in this couple with like a decent enough guy and like he keeps saying and doing all the right things. Like why rock the boat? Like it's good. This is obviously not the love of her life though. And I think that if she had like sort of taken a chance on Sean, she would have ended up being really happy. And I'm, I'm upset. Yeah. I am upset too that he's gone. Like, he obviously didn't get enough time. No one could appreciate him because they're also immature.

But also like, you know, we do like look a little critically at like people who go on shows like this like with children. And that does have to apply to him too. It does. Yeah, it can't just be the women. Although I'm sorry, it is different. It is.

and he is so handsome. And so like nobody's going to question him because it's like, everyone just wants to be with him because he's like so beautiful to behold. But like everyone like can I get a kiss? Like remind me of that kiss. Like it was just like really creepy.

And I'm getting like a weird vibe from him. And also now like, now his personality is like needing to come out a little bit. And there's like not a lot of like depth there when people ask him about his family, like he just doesn't, like, go deep. And I feel like the girls are maybe still blinded by his looks, but it's not going to last that long.

As he said, like at a certain point, like, you know, you have to be able to have a conversation. And I just, I don't know, I think he's bad news. Yeah, no, he's like a 10 out of 10 looks wise. And the more he talks, it drops. Like, he, there's something very dark and sinister. I don't think he's going to be, like, a good match for Kenzie. And I understand, like, that she was sort of, like,

Outside of the challenge. After he had just kissed Kenzie, she's like, no. And he's literally used the same pickup line. She is in a couple that she is happy in. Happy in. To kiss someone outside of a challenge, apparently, challenge, there's no rules when it comes to a challenge. To kiss someone outside of a challenge,

like that's a big deal. So I was glad that she didn't do that. And that, like, you know, she wants to honor the couple that she's in until she wants to move on from it. Melanie looks so immature, so stupid, like such a loser. Like a genuine loser. And it was because like Cere like pulled Cata for a chat. Her for a chat. So quite literally none of her, not her fault. Because I guess it was Trinity who she offended, not Baya. So she was like, oh, I'm really sorry. Like, you know, I do that sometimes when I get enthusiasm. It should have just been done there. But then she was like, yeah, like, after apologizing me, like, yeah, like, we felt like it was really extreme. Like, shut the fuck up. Oh, that's so funny because, because I'm already out on Melanie, I was very excited to see

someone try and put her in her place. Oh my God, no, no. And what's funny is so Bay is like speaking from completely, like she acts like she's speaking on behalf of Kenzie. She's actually speaking selfishly because she doesn't want Kenzie to go after. Because she just want Kenzie to comfort her, her man. So she's like taking it upon herself to be this voice of the group. But I did think Melanie's behavior with the new bombshell was very.

weird. She's so mad and sincere for exploring. Meanwhile, she's Googly and she can't sit near her seat or keep it in her pants. So I'm like, because Melanie is now on like my dislike list, I'm happy to see someone go to toe to toe with her. So Melanie is on my dislike list, but I thought Baye was so out of bounds that like I didn't agree with her whatsoever. First of all, her behavior was definitely weird and that's something you can like gossip with the other girls about being like, but like to confront her is crazy. Two, it's not an assault on you. So like you, if anyone else was upset, they could have said something, but didn't even realize until Baya brought it up. And Trinity was like, yeah, she did do that. And then I do think that Trinity was actually a really good mediator when Melanie got up and had her

crazy. She's just like a very crazy emotional person. Like her reaction was very outsized wanting to talk to Katea being like, I need a friend. And Kate is like, no, bitch. I'm not your friend. I loved that. I'm sorry, Bea is my least favorite person on this island. I thought, I, I sniffed it a little bit in her conversation with Kenzie, like the morality police. But then I just, I'm sorry, I literally hate this person. And she's so high and mighty because she's like, in a good connection with the hottest guy there. And like, I'm sorry, I want him so bad to dump her. Like, I just, I need her to know what it's like.

Because, like, how you act at the top is interesting when you get down on bottom, right? Like, and so she's just so holier than now. Like, I can't fucking stand her. Oh, that's so funny. I don't feel that way. And I'm just, like, happy to see someone put Melanie in her place because she's, like, tearing up. She's like a hurricane.

It's like, it hasn't even, like, I understand week one, like, two, three as the weeks go on. Like, you're becoming more involved in the sociological experiment. Yes. No. And, like, but not, it hasn't even started. Yeah, you're being so mad at this guy who, like, likes you so much. And it's, like, he's, like, he's objectively gorgeous. He's allowed to go and have a conversation.

Well, even if she's like, like, he's flat. Yeah, right. To go and have a conversation with someone that, like, that is what this show is. And you are so not even close to a place where, like, we're not exploring. And just the way that she handled everything. And then also with all the new guy stuff, she's being, like, so enthusiastic about it. And performative. Yeah.

And it's, like, also to rile up sincere. It's not even because she, like, actually likes him. Because if she had a chance to recouple with him, would she have chosen him? Would she have chosen him? No. So you're using him. It's like watching a middle schooler on Love Island. She's using him and it is stopping.

I mean, now I don't want Corbyn to like really be with Trinity or Kensi, but like it was their time to like try and talk to this guy when like you are locked in on sincere and like you're co-opting everyone's time to like put on this performance for sincere. Like it really rubs me so the wrong way that like if anybody has any issue with her wants to raise it to her. I'm listening. No, I'm sorry.

Like how you feel about Melanie is how I feel about Baya. Wow. And then I just want to say the conversation where they made up. And then Abea was like, I wish I was like as athletic as you. Like that was really weird. When Melanie was like you get to like fucking play soccer with them and I'm just like standing there fucking watching like. Like that was like genuine.

Like this is what I mean. Like actual teenagers. Like we're watching like people who have not experienced life who have do not have their frontal lobes fully for them. Like they're not smart. They're not intelligent. They're not saying. They're not mature.

Like the conversations are like brain dead. And that was like her paying her compliment. It was. Yes. It was so weird. I know we were. It was so backhanded. meant to be like moved by the scene.

But I'm like, I'm supposed to feel bad for, for this one because she's too athletic. And I'm supposed to be felt bad for that one because she's not athletic. Too pretty. Yeah. Because she's too pretty. No, it was.

They played die on this hill by Siena's Vera. Like they wanted us to feel some sort of way. And I guess that's like now Baya's like storyline is that like her whole life she's had to be tough and like Gabriol makes her soft. And like that speech that she gave at the recoupling felt so outsized for this three day situation. Like I actually felt uncomfortable. And I think he was already like interested a little bit now in Kenzie from like her performance.

From her splits. Because she can do the splits. Yeah. And he's here to five. So I think this this crazy speech she gave maybe pushed him even further into Kenzie's arms. I hope so. Yeah. It's like everyone's just acting like so set and it's like we just got here.

Nobody is with anyone. Everything is open and fluid. I want to talk about Anaya. Okay. So Anaya is hands down my favorite person in the villa. I think she's such a queen. I don't really believe in their love. Like I think that they were like a situation of like a connection of convenience because

they like were the singles at the first challenge and now they're just together and they maybe have some things in common. And he keeps saying all the right things. I don't know if I believe him. But I got very like caught up in their world when romance when they had the conversation about how like Anaya's the blueprint. And it's like a conversation on colorism how like you know, I think like in the black community like the darker your skin sometimes like you like they like place like.

value like the darker your skin is and he was just like no no you're the blueprint like I got like I was I do feel like he's a little bit of like a word smith just like says what he's exactly supposed to say but I got caught up in it I'm like yes she is the blueprint and you know she's the only person on this show who's not out here embarrassing herself acting like an immature like I love her and so the fact that he said that and saw her I was like you know what she is the blueprint like I got very caught up in it and like they're my number one no I know and like even though uh I'm not completely like sold on like their romantic connection yet like he's done nothing Me neither.

You know, be, he's not said one thing to her and then something to someone else. It's true. Like, I'm going to give him the benefit that out because I do think like she, she's fantastic. And she really seems to be like the voice of reason on the show towards the girls. You know, she's always giving advice. And also for the audience, like someone that who's like a reliable narrator. Yes. Because the other girls can get a little crazy.

They are the Nicolandria of this season, like two people who are acting as friends, but who are obviously in love, even though Nickelangra is not in love. They're hilarious. No, or maybe they'll be the first thruple.

Like maybe that was a foreshadowing when Bryce, wanted to get in on that. Like maybe it's the three of them. I love that. Yeah. Something new and fresh. So tonight I will not be able to watch because I'm busy like being not like anyone else and certainly not like any other girls.

After every, how can anyone look at the eyes after like that? And also I found that challenge, that slime part, like was a humiliation ritual. It was really upsetting when they like, Kenzie was the first girl and like it just totally like rocked her. And then she has to go. The reason why it was so humiliating. It was because it wasn't like a dunk tank where they drop you down. They hurled you forward so you're like flying through the air like with your limbs and you look so stupid. And you like belly flopping.

Your face hits the water. It's also like slime and it's disgusting. It's not like water. If it had been water, then they could just be wet, which they swim all day anyway. The fact that Kenzie and the other girls, she like had to do her performance, like this slimed up like goop ball. It was really humiliating and I found it upsetting. Agreed. I found it upsetting to watch.

And if somebody slimed me, let me tell you. Let me tell you might think we're friends. You might think weeks will go by and I'm your best friend in this house. And they'll think that you've forgotten. And they'll think I will never forget. And I will hit you where it hurts the most when you're least expecting it.
