Starting point is 00:00:09 It's Jackson, Claude and neighbor show the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off, swirly. It's the toast. I sound amazing. Welcome back to The Toast and happy Wednesday. And boy, if there ever was a hump day, that humpty dumpty sat on a motherfucking wall, bitch. Hey, Jacks, how you doing? Why is it such a hump day for you as you desecrate the nursery rhyme?
Starting point is 00:00:40 I have to climb a mountain today. that's a hump. Like we have an insane fucking episode. Oh, we do. Historic episode. We do. You know what? I'm in Dallas, by the way. If you're watching as a video, you're like, where is she? Who is she? Where has she been? Serena. I'm in Dallas. And who is she? And who is she? She's Jacks. And who is she with? She's Claude. Yeah. And we're like so transatlantic continental. Oh my God. Every day is every night a different town. That's literally the show. You never know where we're going to
Starting point is 00:01:07 podcast from next. And that's why we're always bringing new and interesting perspectives because we travel. Yeah. She's Texas. We're well traveled. She's choosing Texas, I can tell. I'm in Dallas for the holiday and so many things. So many things, cojourner. I have to tell you. This is also our last episode of the week, mind you, tomorrow, tonight starts the sacred holiday of Passover. So honestly, Amanda West's turt little statement couldn't have come at a better time. Yes, except I knew I was recording this episode from Dallas and there's a time change here. And the only studio time I could get here is like 8 a.m. Dallas time. And I've not been feeling well. So I was like, you know what, if I can make it to Wednesday, make it to Dallas. Like, maybe I'll just have like Ben fill in for me on Wednesday and phone
Starting point is 00:01:47 and. And then the minute I saw her statement yesterday, I was like, fuck, I have to do the toast. Yeah. I have to do the toast today. Yeah, we have to do the toast today. We also have dear to to So I woke up at 615 after a sleepless night with all three children in our room. Heaven. It was actually adorable. But the whole time, I'm like, I have to just like get up and go to work. Big day. But there's a lot to get up and go to work for today, but I also have to tell you co-jurner, I did something crazy this morning. This morning? This morning. How do you think I got here to the studio? Oh, I guess you're not at your house. You don't have your Tesla. Did you take away, Mo? No, I guess that would be crazy. No, I drove. Wait, let me think. Oh, you drove what?
Starting point is 00:02:33 I drove myself here, like to do that every day. No, no, but not in my car. This is a new for me. I've never driven like in another city with another city streets. I drove Zach's mom's car. I drove a range rover. Rangrovers actually are hard to drive. And can you believe that? I was like so nervous, but I'm, I'm here. I mean, I guess like I reserve our viral sound. I did something crazy for things that are actually crazy. If you know me and you know me, you know us. And why do you take an Uber if this is so crazy? Because I'm like, I do drive every day. I can. do this, Jackson, I can do this. Like, you know, Tiger Woods drives on pills. Like, I can do this. If he can do that, I can do anything. Like Justin Timberlikes drunk. I can drive to work.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Yeah. I have to tell you, I personally am obsessed with your setup when you go to Dallas. The last time you went, we found this, like, amazing studio. It actually inspired us to redesign. The frames exist because of the studio you're currently sitting in. It's so true. I thought the same came. We loved the camera quality, the lighting. It's really been an inspiration to us in a very aesthetic, creative way. And I love your setup. Like you are so serious. It's giving podcast. Well, you know what? It is giving podcast. And today is giving podcast because we have serious business to discuss. But I was also thinking how the last time I was here, it inspired us to like refresh our remote studio. So you can thank this studio in Dallas for the frames. Yeah. It's true. If you don't like the frames,
Starting point is 00:04:01 blame the studio. Yesterday was such an emotional roller coaster for myself. And I think lots of people, people. Our first story is obviously what they're calling Scamanda, which is the name of a popular podcast. No, I don't like it. I either like a mandeval or West Mandivol. Oh, wait, I love that. I didn't know those were options. I agree. Schamanda is not only not original. The whole issue here is not scammer. It's not scam. It's betrayal. It's a mandival. It's a mandival. But however, calling it a mandival like takes a little bit of the blame off of West Mandibal. So that's why we have to put in West Mandeval. Well, also, obviously, the quickest comparison that people are making to this skimanda is Scandival.
Starting point is 00:04:46 And it's really not a good comparison because the core thing missing is cheating. Yeah. And as far as we know, although now thanks to Dave Portnoy, people are bringing in perhaps they're being overlap when her marriage or now we're rewatching this summer, being like the acting weird stories. So as far as we know, there isn't any infidelity, which makes it very different than Scandival. Agreed and I'm going to operate as if there was an infidelity because I just keep giving this girl the benefit of the doubt even though she doesn't seem to. Worthy of it.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yeah. Need it. But what this has that Scandival did not have is that I think that Sierra like West more than Ariana like Tom Sandival. Also for me, I struggled. I struggled with Scandival because like while it was terrible that this thing happened to Ariana, like, I had a really hard time feeling. bad for her and like seeing her as a victim. It's like, yeah, you have been riding for this serial narcissist evil. And like it turned on you in a bad way. Like we all could have told you that, you know? And so like now this is my problem and I have to like root for you when it's been
Starting point is 00:05:51 like. So I found, I feel like Sierra is a very sympathetic victim. Like she hasn't even committed one act of wrongdoing except like expecting more from West. You know, he's so classic. Yeah. Yeah. Like being hung up on this guy. I will. But she's just a girl in that sense. Like I can't really fault her. Like I get, I get it. I don't get Arianna living with that. man. For Ariana, it was less about heartbreak and more about betrayal. Like, you know, even if you didn't like Tom by the or love Tom by the end anymore, like still, you're living in the same home as him. There's an understanding. You expect a level. They're like doing it in her room, in her hot tub. That's her friend. It's like, who can you trust anymore after that? That's really disorienting.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I think for Sierra, this is so devastating. Equal parts. Betrayal of the friend, but she's also still definitely in love with West. So I don't even know what she's more. upset about, honestly. Yeah. Probably West, if I had to imagine. I think it's the friend, that your friend could be such a, a phony, not even phony, because I'm going to, again, give this girl the benefit of the doubt and say that this summer when she's there for Sierra the entire time and last summer, like, she means it and
Starting point is 00:06:55 she's there for her. But to say a few months later, you're single, he's single, you start to identify that you have a crush on this guy. Sorry, that's not going to work. Like, grow up, ignore it. Yes. Especially for someone who like he, it's not like they are, I mean, we should just get into the stories because I have so many thoughts and we're like getting into that. But is there anything else that you want to say, cojourners? Any truths? I picked back up the season of Summer House last night on Peacock. I had to renew my peacock thanks to Scamanda. Stop calling you that. I know. I know. I can't. It's naturally coming to me. Sorry. Okay. Say you like this. A mandival. Mandeval. West Mandeval. It sounds like Westeros. Like I take a trip to West Mandeval this weekend. Okay, I did want to say one thing outside of Scamanda that I wanted to share.
Starting point is 00:07:43 I just wanted to remind everyone that it is April Fool's. So like your friend's family and your favorite influencers, I will be telling you that they're pregnant. Do you know that you got God already? Of course I do. You didn't read the chat this morning? I did. But did you, when you sent that in the chat, did you know that you had gotten got? No, I got got got really well.
Starting point is 00:07:58 So Jackie's friend from college is the biggest fan of April Fool's. It's something like she looks forward to every year she plans for praise. Dana. Everyone knows Dana. Yeah, Dana. From the Redheads. Formerly Red Heads 1.0. She's obsessed.
Starting point is 00:08:10 She plans them like weeks in advance and she does it at like six or seven in the morning. So she really always gets you because who wakes up and thinks it's April Fool's. Now I know and I'll be on the lookout. But the key is her timing. So she texted me this morning a screenshot of Amy Schumer's Instagram story.
Starting point is 00:08:25 And you know, fun fact about her is she is the biggest Amy Schumer fan on the planet. So she texts me Amy Schumer's Instagram story. It's like a mirror picture of Amy and she wrote, catching up on the mass singer.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Girl with No Job was incredible. So honored to have been mistaken for her. And Dana goes, holy fucking shit. I was like, oh my God, what? L.O.L. Dana goes, no, I'm not okay. My old coworker sent it to me, but then she took it down immediately. I was like, what? She said, no, it's fucking insane. Like, are you okay? It doesn't get bigger than this. And I didn't answer. I was doing my hair. I saw the text from Dana coming through. So I didn't see those last two text messages and she was obviously getting antsy. I said the screenshot to my family. And I was like, oh, just like a funny thing. Amy Schumer's so crazy. She's always
Starting point is 00:09:00 posting like nutty stuff on Instagram. It was very believable. Yes, it was. So then Dana FaceTime she's like, are you freaking out? I'm like, no. Like, I, I, I, I, I, Amy Schumer, I know she listens to the toast a lot. It's like a nice thing. I'm like, I'm happy. I'm like, yeah, it's cool. And she was like, are you loving it? April phone!
Starting point is 00:09:19 Oh my God, you're so weird. And honestly, I couldn't even be mad. It was such a good prank. It's so good. Again, you sent it to our chat. And I was like, she already tried to get me. And for two seconds, I believed what she wrote. And then I was like, oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:09:36 What did she send you? So she sent a screenshot to our. friends chat, the same chat that experienced shirt alumni link gate. Okay. And it was like a Facebook status from one of the alumni being like, I'm still not over. Jackie posting our alumni photo.
Starting point is 00:09:53 L-O-L, that's a good one. It was good. Oh, my God, I was about to respond. Like, seriously, I just have to own this. Like, it's whatever. And then I was like, oh, man, it's April Fool's. But I didn't reply in the chat because I want the other girls to have an opportunity to experience it.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Yeah. So I already was aware it was April Fool's. And I saw you sent to our family chat, which she had sent you. And I gave her the joy of letting her know that you sent it to our family chat. And like, that's how, like, believed you. Yeah, I totally believed it. It was a brilliant prank. And I have to say, I find this time if you're annoying, like, even with West and Amanda,
Starting point is 00:10:22 like there is an element that I don't think anymore, but yesterday I definitely thought it was a prank. And then the whole Buffalo Wildlings, which we'll talk about. But I, like, I hate being on edge. Like, and it's so annoying. People now do it, like, days in advance. And I just, I hate it. Yeah. And I will say.
Starting point is 00:10:37 So when real things happen, it makes it annoying, like Weston Amanda. Like last year is when Lauren Bostic launched her new toilet paper. And I said, Jackie, it's a prank. Obviously, she wouldn't launch a toilet paper. No, that's like a fully a product that she sells. It's so annoying. Like, we need to banish it. But Dana really does it so perfectly.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Her pranks are so harmless and they're funny and like you don't feel stupid or embarrassed. I feel like a thing these days with like pranks is like you want to embarrass someone or scare them. Like, why should you post that? And like, that's not funny. Like that's not what April Fool's. meant for. Yeah, it's true. And I don't like anything. You have the 24 hours of April Fool's to make your joke, brands, people, news organizations. So if West and Amanda were to be an April Fool's joke, I wouldn't say that's the most amazing April Fool's joke ever done because it's been a week's long. That's not April
Starting point is 00:11:23 Fools. No, of course. And I was texting with Tinks yesterday and she, because she was, she got tagged in that Buffalo Wildlegs thing. And she was like, what if this is a prank? And so I put my, she was like, just think. I'm like, okay, if this is a prank, I'm fucking annoyed. First of all, I would think these people are losers and and have no respect for themselves, like just to be famous or like get a sponsorship. Like you would drag your entire name through the mind. Like I would just, I would have literally no respect for you.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Like that's not I think like a funny prank. Yeah, but what if it's not a prank? What if it is like a brand, a part of a big sponsor? A brand moment of this new flavor of Buffalo Wild Wings that we didn't expect to connect but we can't help how we feel about this new flavor.
Starting point is 00:12:01 I'm going to put myself in the position because I always say like there's nothing I wouldn't do for a check. except for nudity. So let's say a brand came to me and was like, we want you and Ben to like get divorced. To tolerate rumors of a split. Tolerate rumors of a split. Then play into them for one day
Starting point is 00:12:19 without actually saying it and then the next day we announced the new flavor. I would do it. It's different. It would say not only are we, but Ben is also seen with Dana. Like that's like to me. No.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Actually, it's so unbelievable that I would do it for the check. Yeah. Yeah. There are very, very few things I wouldn't do. Actually, I had to call Jackie last night because, like, I really don't turn stuff down. Like, yeah. This is, we got to pay, this is an expensive studio. And now we got to Dallas.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Of course. Somebody came through for us and I called Jackie. It's like, we need permission to turn stuff down. Of course. We don't turn stuff down. And I said, Jackie, we got pitched the craziest idea, you guys. Like, it was so nutty. And you guys would have hated it.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Yeah, you would have hated it. And it was, it was like a really good amount of money. But it wasn't life changing. sometimes the numbers so why you just have to say yes. That's happened to us. And you guys just have to tolerate it. You just have to tolerate it.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You do. This, I wouldn't make you guys sit through. And it was embarrassing to participate. And it was a good amount of money, but it wasn't life changing. And after taxes and we have to split it and the commissions to everybody, dear media. Like, seriously, it's $3. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:25 And also, like, most of the time, like, I think they're really fun and good. And like, I... And we can make anything funny. Yeah, I love our hand cream breaks. Like, I would pay to have more of those. I love our hand cream breaks. So yeah. My hands are so dry.
Starting point is 00:13:37 All in all, we did turn it down and I was totally aligned. So you're welcome for having spared you guys, whatever that was. Yeah. We'll tell you one day. I will say the only thing that you're like Ben and Dana comparison is missing is like you guys are married 10 plus years. Like this is not that. So maybe they thought they could joke about it. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:59 I'll just wait the day. And then by midnight tonight, I will be a complete believer. but I do still think there is a, I would say now three percent chance. Every hour that goes by on April Fool's, the percent chance goes down. But three percent chance that this is like a brand deal prank still. I think even less. Like I'm now of the mindset yesterday. I was like almost convinced that it was fake.
Starting point is 00:14:17 But I'm pretty sure it's not. And I'm going to operate on this episode as if everything is completely true. Although for anyone who doesn't know about the Buffalo Wildling saying we will share in the first story, which we should definitely get into. Yeah. At this point, it's just confusing. Yeah. Let's get into all of it. Oh, also I've been, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:14:31 My phone was blowing up yesterday. you would think like I'm on Summerhouse. I think a lot of people also are really into Summerhouse and like don't have friends that also watch. They don't know like who to talk to about it.
Starting point is 00:14:40 So I'm just like everyone's therapist about this. But they were also saying like I need someone to explain like to my husband why this is such a big deal. So I think we need to start from the top when we do the story that we're about to do in the fast five stories
Starting point is 00:14:54 that you dot do need to know. And the fast five stories that you need to know are brought to you by Pepsi prebiotic cola. Coming in two flavors. It has, that great Pepsi taste, but now with even more to love. With no artificial sweeteners, only five grams of sugar and just 30 calories, plus three grams of prebiotic fiber.
Starting point is 00:15:11 We love a refreshing drink. We love a drink that tastes great, which is why I have been a longtime supporter and fan of Pepsi. A lot of people think I lie about that. I'm not because for me, I don't care about brand. I don't care about anything. I care about taste. Taste is what matters most.
Starting point is 00:15:26 And to me, there's nothing better in the world than a Pepsi. I'm sorry, I love Pepsi. I really do. Yeah, I really like Pepsi. And their new product is just kind of giving the swirlies what they need. So they have launched a prebiotic cola. It comes in two flavors. Original cola and cherry vanilla.
Starting point is 00:15:39 I'm so original. You know, that's what they say about me. Like she's one of one. She is an original. I really prefer the original flavor. Ben loves the cherry vanilla. So it's very specific. And it's that same Pepsi tastes, but with so much more to love.
Starting point is 00:15:51 So if you're looking for a cola that delivers, Pepsi prebiata cola is that because nothing beats that great Pepsi taste. It's delicious. It's got three grams of prebiotic fiber, five grams of sugar, and just 30 calories. plus no artificial sweeteners. Honestly, it tastes like Pepsi just with more to love. I tried it, I loved it. It's Pepsi prebioticola. Definitely pick some up if you haven't already.
Starting point is 00:16:10 It's so, it's just that classic Pepsi with more to love, and I really recommend it. You know me, I love a beverage. I love getting a nice big, tall glass of ice, perhaps a lemon wedge. Yeah, I'm fancy like that. Today's episode is also brought to you by Noble and the all-day knit.
Starting point is 00:16:25 You're anywhere everywhere shoe. A breathable shoe with unmatched comfort available in either a rip stop or a knit upper. For on the go, the commute, long days on your feet, travel, the all day shoe is the shoe for everyday life. So it's their most versatile sneaker. I have the knit one. They're so cute. I love sneakers. I love to be cozy. Like I'm at the stage of my life. We're like, sorry. We're choosing coziness. And when I saw the knit ones, I'm like, oh, that's so cute and different. Like it has like a very, very coastal grand, I want to say. But like, sometimes you want to look like you're wearing grandma's orthotics, but you're choosing
Starting point is 00:16:57 comfort. And that's why I really like Noble. They're really cute. So whether you're stretching, you're commuting, your circuit training, or you're seriously just like walking around your house, the all-day knit provides flexibility and durability while on the go. And you also don't have to change. Like if you're going to work and you want a cute shoe and then afterwards you're going to the gym, you can wear the same shoe, which I love. If you have a small apartment, you don't need a million pairs of sneakers. If you're a cardboard cogey, you only need to purchase one pair of sneaker. We love that. Um, Noble is just the best also. I feel like everybody's wearing Noble. It's such a cool girl brand. And exclusively for our listeners, Nobles are offering 35% off
Starting point is 00:17:25 your first order when you go to no bull project.com and use our code DM Toast for 35% off your entire first order. That's N-O-B-U-L-L-P-R-O-J-E-C-T dot com. Use code DM-T-O-A-ST for 35% off. Love all their at leisure too, like their loungeware. But the all-day knit is a shoe that I love and highly recommend if you're looking for a new go-to sneaker. Great. Thank you, go-to-st. Sorry, my intonation, like, didn't give end, you know? It wasn't giving conclusive. I just check my phone and Damon told me the prank she did for Josh for April Fool's day. Oh, she told me.
Starting point is 00:18:01 It was so funny. She's neighbors with Frank Katania. Which is just a fun fact about her. Which is a fun. And they're like neighbor friends. So she like faked a phone call with Frank Katania like that they were coming over for Sater tonight. She started like bringing up chairs from the basement while acting like prank is coming for Sater. Now he, like that's a dream.
Starting point is 00:18:22 Dream. Maybe he will. Maybe he'll hear this and he'll pop over. I just want to let everyone know we are recording at the crack of dawn. And we have been told to be alerted if anything comes out about it. Because of course the timing yesterday couldn't remember where as we do a whole episode. Is it real? Is it real? Maybe 20 minutes after our episode dropped.
Starting point is 00:18:37 It's real. I had to be honest. I'm glad I got all of my thoughts out yesterday in like anticipation of knowing the truth. Because like I said, I can't believe a person. I refuse to believe a person would be so like. Self-destructive. Self-destructive and self-indulgent. Really.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Yeah. Anyways, here's the story. Wait, and before, before we start from the top, I just want to say, like, unequivocally, Team Sierra, right? But I feel like as podcasters and just as people, I try to learn, you know, always. And one of the takeaways I remember feeling from Scandival was like, of course I didn't feel bad for Raquel. It was very much like the consequences of her own actions.
Starting point is 00:19:17 But like at what point is it too much, right? Like she's a person who didn't kill anyone. Like she made just a very bad mistake. mistake. Over and over and over again. Over and yeah. And I felt like towards the end like we were beating a dead horse a little bit and we're so not there yet. I just want to be mindful of my language. Do you feel that way? Do you feel that way about Sandoval? No. No, I don't. I don't know why. No, that's fair. Yeah. I just feel like anybody who's getting the wrath and she's wrong like in terms of the situation. I just get like scared and sad for the person. I'm an empathia who's like getting
Starting point is 00:19:55 I've been on the end of a very smaller scale. Except not Sandoval. No, not Sandoval. Because there are people who are truly evil. I don't believe Amanda's evil. I think she's not smart or loyal. And yes, self-indulgent is the perfect word for it. But I don't think she's a evil person.
Starting point is 00:20:14 So I don't know. I just get conflicted because I am like an empath. But she's wrong and we hate her. Yeah. No, I didn't say that. That's what you want me to say? I don't have to hate her. I don't have to have such strong feelings about this.
Starting point is 00:20:23 This isn't my life. You know what I mean? Yeah, right, right. And it's not like I was ever like love, love, love, like wrapped up my identity in her or these people. So like I don't have to have the equal and opposite reaction. I guess if like you have your identity wrapped up in these people, like you'll have really strong feelings about it. But like I don't. So I'm like, damn, you shouldn't have done that.
Starting point is 00:20:38 The tea. The tea is hot. Let's start from the top for anyone who might not watch Summer House and know what it is. It's a reality show on Bravo where people like young hot things. Jersey Shore of the Hamptons, but way less energy. It's been on for many seasons and only has really gotten popular in the last three years. It was actually like the shittiest most janky show in the beginning. and pretty much everyone who was on it at once is no longer on it,
Starting point is 00:20:58 except for Kyle and Amanda, who were very much like the center of the friend group that the show was built on. She came in as his girlfriend, then fiancé, then wife. And if you watched even one episode, you would know that they were probably the most poorly matched couple. He was just, first of all, not loyal to her.
Starting point is 00:21:16 She, like, didn't seem to care enough to, you know, demand any real change from him. Because he's very much the same guy, same way you want about him, but he's very consistent. The guy we met on season one is the same. same guy who was yelling at his wife last week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:28 Yeah, party animal. Life of the party. High highs, low lows. People in the cast and friends and people who watch the show have long, like, wanted Amanda to be free from this relationship. They love her. Every season, like the relationship is going through it on the show. And then we see the reunion and the rest of the year.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Obviously, the other 10 months of the year, they're in therapy doing better than ever. And we'll see you next summer. And that's what it's really been. Yeah, we're fixed. Rinse and repeat for the last. 10 years, I don't know how long the show's down, but five, six years since they got married. And then this summer was, right before this season came out,
Starting point is 00:22:03 it was in doubt that they were divorcing and it wasn't really a shock to anyone, more so just a shock that they were actually finally doing it. And the fandom really rejoiced. Like the messaging was very much, Amanda is free. And she was on this path that's sort of been carved out by Ariana Maddox in the last couple of years
Starting point is 00:22:19 where it's like you're a scorned woman from a Bravo show and you go on to eclipse that Bravo show. you get brand deals, opportunities, commercials, hosting gigs. And it was clearly like that, that trajectory that she was on until this scandal. Now, the other players are two people named West and Sierra. Sierra's really good friends with Amanda. Best friends. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:38 And West is one of the newer castmates on the show. And in his first season, he entered the house for the summer. And him and Sierra, like, quickly entered, will they, won't they? And by the time summer ended, we caught up with them at the reunion. They had been in a full-blown relationship. was going to Missouri to meet his family. She was deeply, deeply in love with him. And he was new to the scene. And at the reunion, he shared that they had broken up. And she was really, like, devastated one because she kind of delivered one of the most heartbreaking monologues. I rewatched
Starting point is 00:23:08 on TikTok yesterday about how she is sort of a traditional girl. And she really does not have sex with people. Like she's like, I'm sorry, but that really means something to me. I'm just not one of those people who can give myself physically and not just be completely invested, which was actually really refreshing to hear on reality TV. And it was just devastating. And it was just devastating. stating because the reason he had ended up breaking up was that it was his first season on reality TV and he was blowing up and he just felt like he couldn't be bogged down by this relationship and he wanted to explore all opportunities. He was like getting all these DMs and these watch parties and it was a really fucking bad look for him. It's like you're giving up on like an actual true romantic interest
Starting point is 00:23:42 and an opportunity with a girl who's like so lovely and beautiful and loves you so much for what DMs? Like it was the most disappointing thing he could have done. Yeah. And the fandom really turned on him. And he's sort of been working his way out of this hole for the last two seasons. And I will say, I do believe he successfully rebounded. It did take a while. But Sierra, like, never forgave him and was still really hung up on him. So the last two seasons since their breakup have also been, like, you know, her forgiving him
Starting point is 00:24:11 and clearly just being so still hung up on him and having to work through that while also being mad at him. Yeah. And this season, I think, was leading up before this, leading people to think like maybe there was a chance they were getting back together. Dumois said that they were spotted. So I think we all thought they were on track to like try again. Yeah, they've been flirting this season. Like you see her like really try and forgive him and also struggle with her feelings of like still having feelings for him and like how shitty that is because of what he did. But then he also felt so embarrassed by him. Yeah. And she,
Starting point is 00:24:40 he's also starting to say like he thinks she's great. But like he won't say anything actually of, of import. You know, I think she's cool. I really like her. I like how I feel around her. You know, not like, Listen, I'm sorry. I want to do this right this time. So like always just giving her like half-ass. Half. Like I like you, but like not enough to give you what you want.
Starting point is 00:25:00 West's best friend in the house named Jesse is also really hung up on Sierra. And I haven't seen the episodes yet. What is West's reaction to that? Like the makeout thing. Yeah, I think he like said it was okay. But then everybody else was like, that's really weird. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:14 So if you're watching with like a very keen eye, it doesn't really look like, but maybe he's just not like that. unless he's behind close tears. It does feel like she likes him more than he likes her. Yes, but also I could imagine a world where he was thinking, like, of course, I don't want my buddy to make out with Sierra, but like if that would make Sierra happy,
Starting point is 00:25:32 I think he just wants her to be happy and like not be, like, I think for him, it's like if she moved on, she wouldn't hate him so much and that would be good for him. Yeah. You know, so I think he wouldn't ever stop her from moving on. Right. The season is airing now that was filmed last summer. And then a couple of weeks ago,
Starting point is 00:25:49 we told you guys this yesterday. Dumois, a couple of whispers. This rumor just starts very small and then becomes fact in the matter of like a week that West, Sierra's ex, is seeing Amanda, the girl who just got divorced who's best friends with Sierra. Not to mention, let's me not forget
Starting point is 00:26:04 that Kyle and West are also really good friends, housemates. No, no, no, but that's another part of it. Nobody feels bad for Kyle because he's just such a bad guy. But these are all people who are like best friends in a friend group and now have like traded partners in a shocking way. Deeply entrenched with one another. romantically, platonically, very business, you know, a lot of them are business together. Right.
Starting point is 00:26:24 It's so crazy. And I don't even know what the craziest part is. I think it's really, for me, it's obviously, it's the shock that Amanda, because the track that she was on, she kind of got away. Everyone was like championing her. Like, she's free. She's free. And I just remember thinking, like, why are we like championing? Like, she's, nobody forced her to get married.
Starting point is 00:26:47 I just remember thinking I'm like, she's just. about to become so famous and so rich for what having bad-tasted men and then 10 years later deciding. Like she, to me she wasn't like easy to champion. If you love Amanda, like, why can't you give her brand deals and champion her when she's married? Why does she have, why does someone have to get divorced for you to like care about them and want them to do well? And so I find it so shocking that like she would obviously the betrayal, right? Like Sierra's her best friend in the whole world. And you've watched her for the last two years. Literally cry in your bed. about this guy. So like how you could truly be so like thoughtless, thoughtless little pig.
Starting point is 00:27:26 That's an Alec Baldwin reference for you husbands. Yeah, I'm not calling her that. For your husbands and boyfriends listening. Obviously the betrayal is like what's most glaring. But like when I really look at it like psychologically, like you would really give up not only a best friend, but like all this opportunity. Right. You clearly want to be famous. You've wrote it out on this show since the very beginning and there were dark years where three people were watching and two of them were Taylor Shrekker and Taylor Donnie, you. Okay? Like, literally, it's cool now to watch Summer House.
Starting point is 00:27:52 It was not cool. And you got embarrassed on TV. You got cheated on on TV. You got yelled. Like, you obviously yearn for a career in this. You would give up all of that. And your best friend, like a deep real friendship, for what? A guy who Dumas says is also seeing two other people right now.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Right. So, like, for a feeling that you have, because it's not like they're in love and they're going to be together. They wouldn't even say relationship in their joint statement. So this is the joint statement. And this is like what's actually really. confusing and where I feel like she maybe had an opportunity to say something of import and she didn't. But also, this statement is very vague and leaves room for it being a new Buffalo
Starting point is 00:28:26 Wild Waii Wingsley. She didn't even say West. Yeah. She spoke so generally with pronouns. They both posted the same statement yesterday. It says, we've seen the growing online speculation. So while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved in the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things. privately before speaking on it. We've shown up for each other as friends over the years through all the highs and lows in what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach
Starting point is 00:28:59 with this care. As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this. You will get no understanding and no respect, especially not with this statement. because like basically she's putting out the statement and if we're putting the pieces of the puzzle together, they've been sort of seeing each other for a few weeks. This probably happened like after the new year and it's like new and we have a crush and we're like acting on our feelings. Meanwhile, he's also been seen with other girls.
Starting point is 00:29:29 So it's nothing exclusive or anything. And for me, I'm just like, okay, this is your best friend, Sierra. Doing this will hurt her so badly. It will absolutely ruin your relationship with her. It will ruin your reputation and professional and your place on the show and just like everything and your name and and, and, and, and, And all the other castmates, too, like, they, like, you're not only losing your friend in Sierra, I do believe you're going to lose a lot, yeah, like the rest of the cast. So you're going to do all of that because you have feelings for this guy. And if you have just like, oh, I feel like, oh, I've been feeling like I have a crush on West.
Starting point is 00:30:01 Like, you could, you know, like just not act on that. You could. Unless it's like this big, great love and you're emotionally, like, distraught over it. And you're like, this is my person. And if that's the case, say that. Write a statement from the heart and say, this. is the last connection. What is the bad for?
Starting point is 00:30:18 Say this is the last thing I ever expected to happen. I wish that I had these feelings for anyone other than this person, but I cannot help how we both feel and like profess your love for him and stand on that and give us no choice
Starting point is 00:30:31 but to believe that you two have to be together. Right, like a romantic POV. Because this, you have any other choice. Oh, you have a connection that developed. Womp. Yeah, it's so much to throw away for what you're not even calling a boyfriend, right? And this is someone
Starting point is 00:30:46 who has a reputation for being like a fuck boy not settling down and so it's only furthering that for me I'm like well is he even like stopping seeing other people which according to demois he's not and hot take if you're gonna end up with West you should have just stayed married to Kyle because they're the same younger what they're the same person life of the party reality TV sir everybody loves him and yeah Kyle's just now 10 years older and it's not aging well and it's sadder and he's doing the same things but he's older and he has more pressure and he wants to have a family, but he needs his business. That's going to be West in 10 years. So, like, really, they're the same person.
Starting point is 00:31:20 You should have stayed married. Absolutely. Also, another part of this that's just so crazy is the page of it all. Like, I think a lot of people are wondering. And I feel like Hannah Burner posted an ad yesterday right after the statement came out. It was a hilarious ad. Like, yeah. It was for like wipes for your butt.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Like, of course it was. And Paige commented, like, a hug. couple times, like about how great the ad was because she did like a funny skit. And then she was like, I guess we're all just posting crazy things on the internet today, like very much giving, I'm also done with Amanda. So that's Amanda giving up two, like, ride or die lifelong friends for a connection. They have to get married. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:32:00 If they want to save their reputation. No, because that's all she has now. Now this is all she has is her connection with Wes. That's all you have because you don't have your friends. You don't have your career like you did. You might not. Who even knows what's happening with the show? they're saying productions on pause.
Starting point is 00:32:15 I don't believe that for one second. Get your cameras up. They picked up cameras when Craig and Page broke up. If you're not filming this, what are you filming? A thousand percent. For the city or whatever. Yeah, anything.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Like this is the most interesting thing that's happened on TV since Scandival. But before Scandival, like this is up there. I mean, it's Taylor Frankie Paul level. Like it's the craziest thing that's ever happened. And for all of these reasons that we're saying is why I still Slim Chance think it's a brand thing.
Starting point is 00:32:42 It's a prank. So let's talk about Buffalo. Wild Wings about two hours before the joint statement was released. Buffalo Wild Wings, who in the last month has done individual partnerships like commercials with Amanda and West. BWW. Buffalo Wild Wings. They posted on their Instagram just like a yellow square with black texts that said
Starting point is 00:33:01 A BWW, A Buffalo Wild Wings. But then everyone was like A BWW, Amanda Batula, West Wilson. They also tagged like 10 Bravo accounts and Tinks and Tinks. and things is commenting like, hi, love your wings. Why'd you tag me? Yeah. And so a lot of people thought
Starting point is 00:33:18 it was like an Easter egg because then the statement came out they both are Buffalo Wild Wings spokesperson and I'm not gonna lie, when I saw that I was fucking spiraling. I was like, there's no way. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. But then I was disappointed
Starting point is 00:33:32 because we're all getting so emotionally invested in this and like, I'm like, you're kidding me. For wings? Yeah, no. And then when you go back and read the statement through the lens of a new Buffalo Wild Wings flavor, like it is possible. Right, because she doesn't say West.
Starting point is 00:33:46 She talks about like, you know, feelings. Maybe she loves the wings. Maybe she didn't know that you could have like a spicy wing with a sweet and sour. And Chulula. Yeah. And we didn't expect this connection to develop, but it's the best one ever. And then I got sent a picture of Sierra sitting on the sidewalk in the meatpacking district crying. And I was like, oh, this is even more staged.
Starting point is 00:34:10 Because why would she receive? the news outside and have a breakdown outside. She obviously has known about this for like at least a couple of days. She didn't find out with the world because I just don't believe that. No, and Amazon Live and she stopped like in the pictures. She didn't find out yesterday. If we all found out, by the way, we've all like been circling these rumors. She obviously saw the rumors when they first dropped.
Starting point is 00:34:29 And she probably just asked. Yeah, right. So even if she was outside, like she didn't know the statement was coming out. Like I just thought the breakdown on the side of the street was so obviously staged. And I'm like, oh my God, this is a really elaborate Buffalo Wild Wings. Yeah. And she's crying because she likes ranch, you know, like something. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:47 And I was like, with those two things together, I'm like, this is, I feel so stupid. I feel taken advantage of. Like I got mad. And I'm like, this is a good way to like harbor really resentment for Buffalo Wild Wings. I'll never set foot. I never have, but I never will. Then a lot of time passed and page six started posting like different pictures of her crying. And I just thought it was like too convenient that like 20 minutes after the statement, I get a picture.
Starting point is 00:35:10 You know, like I just didn't think it was real. Yeah, and if she has known about this and known it's true for a couple days or weeks, why is she breaking down at the exact moment that the news is public when this is not new to her? Maybe it makes it real, but like, I don't know, I just feel like what she already knew. So why now? Yeah. Two things I want to talk about. Edie Parker and Vanita.
Starting point is 00:35:34 So let's talk about Vanita, who is a cast member on a different show. Southern Charm. And she's really good friends with Sierra. And so a lot of people have been like posting, we talked to yesterday about Austin, like, subtly Lindsay Hubbard, subtly like nodding to this being true and like, you know, expressing their disapproval. But Vanita came out just like straight. Like I really appreciated her, not like a jiff or whatever. Like she was like, I'm talking about you, Amanda.
Starting point is 00:35:56 And she was like really crazy to like release a joint statement when you haven't even apologized to your friend. But I guess that tracks, I think she said. Yeah. But Claudia, she didn't say anyone's name. It could have been about the Chalula. I don't even know other flavors. She has a flavor. Right.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Spicy. Spicy. I don't know flavors. I don't know flavors. Yeah. And then Edy Parker. So Amanda, like we said, she was on track to be the bell of the ball, Ariana Maddox 2.0.
Starting point is 00:36:28 And one of the things that she was doing, she was a Tropicana spokesperson. She was also doing a big campaign with Edy Parker, which is like a luxury handbag company. and also they like sell lighters and a lot of their platform is like legalizing cannabis which I thought is like a lot of like weed paraphernalia yeah
Starting point is 00:36:44 and that's like her thing now pothead Oh because he said she doesn't let her smoke pot Yeah He just said that she smokes every night And then she got like a weed fashion campaign Makes sense She got like a modeling campaign I don't know what they were selling
Starting point is 00:36:56 She like had her boobs out And her hair and rollers And she was smoking a joint I didn't see anything I think it was for T-shirts That the proceeds of which like go towards legalizing marijuana
Starting point is 00:37:05 a legislation? I'm really glad that she's using her platform for what's important. Like, that's really great. I know it's T-shirts with the proceeds going too blank, but I do think it has to do with like- Something for weed, yeah. You know what? And yesterday, the campaign had already been released. They like took it down.
Starting point is 00:37:22 I guess they dropped her and then posted like a janky iPhone photo of someone else wearing the T-shirt being like, same shirt, new model. And I just want to say that might be one of the top 10 loseriest things I've ever seen a company do. I haven't bought an E.D. Parker handbag in a while, but like, I think it's so lame. I thought it was lame, too. I'm always genuinely shocked when people, like, get canceled and lose brand deals. I'm like, wait, really? We're still doing this. And especially, like, the fallout from this hasn't even really happened yet. I feel like, you know, mostly because people aren't sure if it's real. That took a while. It's been, like, very slow rollout.
Starting point is 00:37:58 And it's like, maybe she won't continue to get booked in the way that she was. But, like, the dropping, because she's, has a new man who's her friend's ex-man. You know what I mean? Like we can all be mad at her about it, but like ethically or like, you know, in your morality clause, like you just, you're a single person dating another single person. Like we're mad because we know. But like- That's why the difference with Scandival is like if Tom's get Sanneval or Raquel were getting dropped from things.
Starting point is 00:38:22 It's like, well, yes, you committed adultery. That's like, you know, the astronomer thing. Like there is an element of wrongdoing. Like there's a concrete thing you cheated. This is more blurred lines because it's highly unethical. but like technically, no cheating as far as we know. It's just something, you know, I wouldn't do. So to get dropped from a major campaign,
Starting point is 00:38:42 I don't even know if this would include like a morality clause because technically she just made a bad choice in her romantic life, you know? Yeah. Yeah, it's just like we're all wrapped up in the feelings of it, but like she's still the same girl that you hired for the project who smokes weed. And by the way, it's for an organization that works to redress the harms of cannabis criminalization through legal intervention, education, and criminal justice reform advocacy. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:39:07 That's better than what I thought it was. Now, there's so many things. I would like to, I need to know a little bit more about how Amanda told Sierra because while there's like no way that it could have gone well, there are better ways than other. And it's based on what Anita said, it's giving like her, she just sort of took like a cowardly way out. Whereas like if she had sat her doubt, I don't know if there was ever a way that Sierra was going to be understanding, but there are better ways to go about it.
Starting point is 00:39:31 and I imagine she just did it probably in the worst way. Yeah, I guess there's no good way. But what if she had said to her, like, listen, they've something like... I'm in love with West. I have feelings for West. Like, I would like to explore them, but I don't want to lose your friendship. Like, is there any way that you could ever wrap your head around that? But she would have to be prepared for her to say no.
Starting point is 00:39:52 Yeah, and I keep going back to what you said, it's so true, like self-indulgent. Like, okay, if it's the great love of your life, and I'm going to operate under the assumption that it's not, because they won't even say love or relationship in the statement. a couple weeks ago. So to give up so much because you just can't, like, not kiss your crush, who, like, probably is a fleeting crush and will disappoint you. Like, self-indulgent is the perfect word for it.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Like, restrain yourself. Yeah. Restrain yourself at your big age. Like, you can compartmentalize feelings and you can, like, focus on a friendship with him, even though, oh, I'll pine for something more. And maybe if years down the road, it didn't. Sure, fine. And you know his track record, too.
Starting point is 00:40:29 Yeah. Like, he is who he is. You coached Sierra through this whole thing. Yeah. And he's done it. That's the other thing. I was watching clips. Dara came on the show.
Starting point is 00:40:36 She's one of West X and she's like, he's the best person in the world unless you're in love with him. Because he's great to like to everyone else in the whole world except for like being that person in a relationship. And you know what's like pissing me off now is like a lot of the response from like people in the community. Like they're just like and you know what? I always hated her.
Starting point is 00:40:56 Claudia, I agree. And you know what? Her bathing suits are ugly. It's like, shut the fuck up. was gassing her up. She couldn't do any wrong in the eyes. Like nobody has ever said a crossword. The only thing, and there are Jules Truthers. Do you know the Jules Truthers? Jules Truthers? What's the jewels? I told you guys, the seasons, early seasons of Summer House were extremely dark and actually terrible, like unwatchable TV. And they had people coming in, coming out, and they had a girl named Jules. Oh, it's a person. I didn't watch a season. It's not a knee cigarette. She clocked Amanda the second she walked in that house.
Starting point is 00:41:25 And Amanda was so awful to her. Like, if you go back and watch, like now people are like, So I will say the Jewels truthers can say, if you haven't stopped talking about Jules, you can say you always were on to Amanda. But up until recently he was like, Sleigh Mama, she's free. Buy my merch, I love your bathing suits. Like she could not do a single thing wrong. And now it's like, I never liked her. Anybody who was saying, by the way, I never liked her.
Starting point is 00:41:48 If you didn't say it when it was the unpopular thing to say, shut the fuck up. I hate when people say that. Oh, my God, loser. Loser. Loser. She's been on TV for 10 years and, oh, you didn't like her this whole time, but you never said any.
Starting point is 00:42:00 until everyone tells you can say something. Shut up. My fashion queen. Honestly, she has the ugliest outfits. Like, shut up, but people are so fucking too-faces. Just say whatever's popular. I always thought she was a pick-me. Well, why didn't she say it?
Starting point is 00:42:15 So shut up. Totally. I saw that, too. It's really bothering me. Like, it's bothering me too. Like, because you didn't say it then. And so, yeah, to say it now, okay, you're just like like, such a bandwagoner.
Starting point is 00:42:28 And you're just piling on. You're piling on. So there is a lot of piling on going on, and that's what I was trying to say at the top of the episode. Like, we can talk about this critically and, like, judge her choices. But, like, let's just, like, let's not go below. And the thing is, she doesn't even know what she's just given Sierra, because the track that Amanda was on, which was, like, lesser Aeronautics, what's about to happen to Sierra is going to be bigger than Arianmatics? She's going to be host. She's going to be the next bachelorette, although it is a conflict between NBC and ABC.
Starting point is 00:42:55 What? So, Sierra, I need you. I know right now is probably the lowest moment of your life. Like, you probably can't get out of bed. You can't stop crying. I want you to know, like, what Amanda has done for you is the biggest gift. That's what happened with Sandoval, where it was like, we couldn't even be mad at Ariana, Tom and Raquel anymore because look what they gave Ariana, a girl who's been on the show
Starting point is 00:43:12 for 15 years and made not one singular impact. Like, seriously, probably the least interesting person on that show is now the most famous and successful person on the show through no fault of her own. Like, she didn't even earn that. No, no, sorry, not earned. You know what I mean. No, she didn't do anything. It happened to her.
Starting point is 00:43:25 And so Sierra wasn't Ariana. Like, Sierra moves that show, you know? she's one of the favorites already. And now two people have done her so good. She's already like working. She was just on the red carpet hosting for friends and neighbors. She crushes. She's Victoria's Secret.
Starting point is 00:43:38 Right. What's about to happen to her like is and it was going to be Amanda's and now it's even bigger and it's Sierra's. So Sierra, I know right now you're probably in hell. You have no idea what they've done for you. Like you're about to be so rich and famous. And that will carry you through the loss of one friend and a short guy. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Yeah. Yeah. It's really time to move on from him. No. It's just really crazy that these, like, self-proclaimed girls, girls have done, like, the most stereotypical, like, they let a guy come between them. Well, not they, just Amanda. Puttia.
Starting point is 00:44:11 What makes this actually more shocking than Scandolphol is, like, Raquel and Tom were, like, dumb-dums, you know? Yeah. Like, I, like, we watch, I expect that these people were, like, sound of mind. Even West, like, he cares about his image. Yeah. A lot. Why would, he's also like, he's putting his connection with Amanda, like, above his image and his opportunities and everything. That's why I feel like he has to really like her. Because of these opportunities, like, really, you could be so narrow-minded. That, I believe Raquel and Tom could be so narrow-minded. I do. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. Well, that makes he think maybe he's in love with her. And that's the only saving grace because he's someone who's so image-obsessed to throw it all away. I think he's in love with her today. Jackie, what does this mean?
Starting point is 00:44:59 for the future of Summerhouse. It is approaching. They start filming July 1st. It's April. Why are people talking like this is bad for the show? This is the most amazing thing that's ever happened for the show. Who's saying it's bad for the show? No, but like for the future of summer as if like there might not be a future. No, I'm sorry. I mean in terms of who's going back in the house. Does this get anyone kicked out of the house? No. Get them all in the house. Unless Amanda doesn't want to like, you know, deal with it. See the consequences. Yeah. I don't think West is going to turn down. I think West will be back in that house. come hell or high water.
Starting point is 00:45:30 He's climbed out of a hole before he can do it again. Yeah, I think. Do they return together as a couple? You know what? I think in the next few months, Sierra will have such a big boom in her career that she won't return. She won't need the show.
Starting point is 00:45:42 And then we can watch up West and Amanda. And actually, I think that would be, I guess, interesting. And Kyle. Yeah. Yeah, I feel like Kyle, like, interacting with West and Amanda is, like, good entertainment. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:45:55 I don't think he's heartbroken. Like, I think it was a love marriage. He's known West for two years. They're friends. It's not like this deep connection, like the female friendships on Summerhouse. I think it could be like funny. And yeah, it could be a storyline and they'll argue. But I don't think it's as serious as it is with Sierra. I also think he's probably grateful for the distraction from his behavior because like in these two episodes recently, and I'm sure it gets worse and worse. Like he's just really, he's spiraling. He's being really terrible. And like we're not talking about that. And I think, you know, him, you know, being with his
Starting point is 00:46:27 mates misses and all this, it sort of like balances itself out and maybe he could just like walk away. In the same way that Sierra will ultimately be grateful to these two for doing what they did because she's about to take off. I do think Kyle is also, I can acknowledge. It's the same thing that you said about the season of the Bachelorette where there's definitely a guy on there who was about to be the villain and had his life ruined and he's like the unthinkable has happened and his reputation has been saved. That's exactly with Kyle Cook. The unthinkable has happened, right? Like they just blew up this friend group and no one's seeing out the fact that he called her a dumb bitch. And you could also make the argument on his behalf that what he's saying that he is frustrating him about Amanda is that she hangs out with everyone else.
Starting point is 00:47:02 She's happy with everyone else. But like gives him nothing. And you could say if you want to that like she's at being flirty with West that there's something developing. And like that's her husband. And she's doing it in front of his face. And that's how she's engaging with people. And like, of course he's at the roof. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:18 No, you definitely could argue that if you want to do. Yeah. But I'm operating. I don't know why I keep giving them the benefit of the doubt. to say that these feelings are very new. Yeah. I don't know why. Wait, there was one more thing.
Starting point is 00:47:33 Like, they're not. Don't you know when you like someone? I guess I've never had a friendship that turned into a crush. I've only just like seen people as like a romantic interest or not. Or platonic. Yeah. So, because I just feel like from the moment you meet someone, like you know if like you really like them like that.
Starting point is 00:47:49 This is also just further proof that like straight men and women cannot be friends. 1,000% in anybody. There's something unnatural about. her friendship with West. There's something very unnatural role about Sierra's friendship with Jessie. He's in love with her. Like, sorry, boys and girls can't be friends. No, and if anybody says we're like brother and sister, run from them. Yeah, right? Because I know brothers, I know brothers and sisters like you. Okay. Teresa and Joe Jiu-Dice. No, like, you're not brother and sister. Unless your brother and sister with your DNA precluding you from getting together,
Starting point is 00:48:18 you are not brother and sister. Correct. And you're probably gonna screw. The funny thing about this is that I was posting on my story, and my friend Rachel responded. And she's like, she watches Summer House, like, always from the beginning. But she's not chronically online. Like she listens to the toast. She loves pop culture, but she's not chronically online at all. So she had never heard the rumors. So she's like, wait, who's the statement about?
Starting point is 00:48:40 Who is she dating? I said, West. She goes, all caps. What? Like, it was so unfathom. It was very interesting to, like, hear her reaction. She's like, I can't believe it. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:48:50 It has to not be true. Yeah. Oh, my God. I'm like, no, I know. We were driving to the airport. Zach was driving the car and I was all the way in the back and that's when the statement came out
Starting point is 00:49:01 and I was like Amanda confirmed the rumors. I was like I thought he was going to crash. It is so crazy. He watches Summer House but isn't chronically online so he's like loose. I like told him about it a little bit but I was like oh my god baby. But you know me I didn't believe it so I'm like it's definitely not true and then I told him I'm like oh my god it's true and he was like what?
Starting point is 00:49:22 insane. Yeah. Crazy. We'll come back to this. This will be a developing story. I don't know. Like, just Sierra do call her daddy. Like, what's next for Sierra? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:34 We'll see. Maybe Sierra goes on Giggly Squad. Yeah, I feel like that's why I don't know that she would do call her daddy because, like, her best friend's a podcast that she could go on. But they don't do interviews. And they don't yet.
Starting point is 00:49:45 And it would be very much like Paige taking a stand, which I don't know where Paige landed and all this, but I imagine it's firmly Team Sierra. The arc would bring her to call her daddy. It would. And I'm sure Alex is. The prototype. I'm sure Alex is working over.
Starting point is 00:49:56 overtime because like that's what we all need you know right and that's very much what like call her daddy is now i feel like for a while they were focused more on like celebrity yeah like traditional and now it's like very reality tv focused yeah i mean she's producing reality television but also i could see i don't know why i feel like sierra won't do call her daddy maybe because of like page and hannah having like i don't know i just don't see it but i could see her having amanda i mean that would be very polarizing that would but i'd watch that i'll watch anything like i'm absolutely With the saga. Have Wes.
Starting point is 00:50:31 I need ever want to start talking now. Have Jesse. Have Lindsay Hubbard. I don't get back. I can't believe cameras are up. This reunion's going to be fucking insane. That's why it's so similar to Scandibal because the timeline, like it came to a head at the reunion. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:50:42 Mm-hmm. Which was seriously the craziest reunion of all time. Yeah. Yeah. Have anyone. I agree. Like, please just start talking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:54 This is like seriously all I have to live for these days. Okay. Are you ready for our next story? Ready as you could be? Sports Illustrated swimsuit just dropped another batch of models. Oh. Who's on the cover? I can't stand this.
Starting point is 00:51:08 They're really tracking it out. But I'm not going to lie. Every couple days, I'm like, I wonder who's going to be on the cover. Yes, I agree. I've been thinking about it just randomly like in the shower. I'm like very titillated and excited. And they're doing a good job. So I hope they don't fumble with who the cover stars are.
Starting point is 00:51:22 And there's like seven or whatever. Like I hope there's just one and it's Whoopi Goldberg. Crackin. Who did I say? Lou? Oh, yeah. It's kind of a good call, except she's really young. I don't think she should be, like, posing it. Is she, like, underage? Oh, I don't know. But that's just like, that's not who it's going to be.
Starting point is 00:51:39 Yeah, I know. It was a bad call. Sorry. So here's who's in the new... Oh, I just want to say, if my call was bad, yours is 10 times worse. No, Claudia. Mine is fucking inspired. Like, I'm sure they're kicking themselves that they didn't think of it. That's exactly who they want on the cover. So they just released seven new models that are in the issue. and of note,
Starting point is 00:52:00 Alandria from Love Island, USA. Great call. Body is T. She's an insane fucking body. And she's so famous. She's so famous. She's so gorgeous. She's a bikini icon from Love Island USA.
Starting point is 00:52:15 This is a no-brainer. She should have been on the cover. Just saying. Has anyone from Love Island ever done it? Because actually, like, I feel like Love Island is an audition. It is. First Force Illustrated.
Starting point is 00:52:25 They just walk around naked. Yeah. And then also they announced Katie Awesome. Kristen, Kristen Grymora, Jasmine Sanders, Jenna Sims, and Ellie Thumann. So a lot of those are like repeat. Wags. Clasics, wags, et cetera. Cute.
Starting point is 00:52:37 But Alandria's like, you know, obviously this is her first. No, this, honestly, they could have put her on the cover. That would have been like a really, like kind of bold choice. Yeah, you know who would be great. And maybe if she shot this year, like, which she might have shot anyway, if Sierra like happened to have been in this issue. Well, I guess issues went to print already. Sierra Miller, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Sierra Miller, yeah. Yeah, even though she is with Victoria's Secret. And I don't believe. You can do both. Really? She's like a brand ambassador. She's like a longstanding partnership with them. Mistopportune.
Starting point is 00:53:07 Yeah. So yeah. Who is it going to be? I don't know. It kind of seems like they're doing a good job also in choosing. Like every batch we see. I'm like, oh, that's really good. Like I feel like there's a potential cover star in every batch.
Starting point is 00:53:17 Are they choosing from the batch or it's someone totally new? We don't know. We don't know. And how many covers? Oh, one. Please. Please. Please.
Starting point is 00:53:26 So hopefully we find out soon because like I do feel. like I can't wait much longer. I know. And these stories are just like in a way. Yeah, but I'm happy for Alandria. And like she needs to drop. Oh, me too. She needs to drop the act with Nick. She needs to drop Nick Asap. What are they doing? Is there one person on earth who truly believes they're together? Oh my God. Yeah. Nicolandria Twitter is fucking dope. They don't deranged.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Like this is a business relationship. So somebody called them business partners and I think that's exactly what they are. They at one point were stronger than together than they were apart. But I do feel like now he really drags her down. He's like a DJ and like does random club appearances and she's so fucking high fashion and so famous. Like girl get out. I think she's literally going to be at the med ball. No. And first of all, she like ditches him and is single. She'll have her like single. Single moral arc. And it's probably like precluding her from like pursuing relationships because everyone thinks she's this is like the craziest thing ever. They need to give it up. And with the
Starting point is 00:54:19 Nicolandia fans don't understand. Like I want to talk to you guys about it. He won't let her give it up. No, of course not. The crazy thing is that they never were together on the show, except they tried to explore connection and they made out and they both agreed, like, it wasn't a good kiss, it wasn't a good. They're much better off as friends. And then just like conveniently so they could like make it to the end. Like it was just like literally an agreement.
Starting point is 00:54:41 And the fact that people seem to forget that and like believe that this is a true love. Who won? Amaya. Oh my God. I saw like a red carpet interview of her like yesterday. I saw too. What? I saw it also.
Starting point is 00:54:59 Let's move on. No, I just, and not even about her, but just like, I think everybody voted for them so that, just to stick it to like Ace and Shelley. Who wronged her? And, oh yeah, whoever wrong, ace, everyone wronged her. And it's like, just stop doing that. Why don't we vote for like the couple that's actually together? Iris and Pepe at the time.
Starting point is 00:55:20 But now I stay, Iris and TJ are like so in love. No, it's good that I, honestly, I guess Nicolandria should have won for like best. scripted performance. Correct. They'll be getting a Razzie later today. And then Huda and Chris. Best scene I've ever watched. All right, let's have into the remaining stories

Starting point is 00:56:06 And now they just launched spoonables coming in five flavors. It's literally just a container of frozen Greek yogurt. They come in cookie dough, cookies and cream, fudge brownie, mint chocolate chip, coffee chocolate chip. I love cookies and cream. Each one has about 400 calories, 19 grams of protein per container. Thank you BetterHelp for sponsoring today's episode. Thank you, episode, Tert. You're welcome. Liz would just send us like a tweet that was really funny about Scamandoval. And the handle of the user has me in tears. Satchel. Satchel Maloney.
Starting point is 00:58:47 Oh, I saw like Katie Maloney giving her statement. It's like, girl, we don't care. Oh my God, what's her statement? Also, Ria. So Sierra had unfollowed Amanda and West, like immediately after the... Oh, yeah, everyone's saying, but to, you know, negate about the prank idea that they unfollowed her and they said they blocked her. How do you know if someone blocks someone? There's a way.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Okay. But breaking news, Rihanna has unfollowed Amanda Batula. That's crazy. She has to marry West. of like the list of things she has given up by exploring this connection never ends. A follow from Rihanna. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:59:26 Devastating. Satchel Maloney. I want to hear from Satchel on this. Satchel on Call Her Daddy. I love Satchel Maloney. Satchel. And I forget that's why we call Margotashari Satchie. Satchel. Because of Satchel from Vanderpump Rules. Katie Maloney is like one time.
Starting point is 00:59:48 He's not from Van der Pumper Rules. It can be on like three episodes. He's the star. When they did the reboot, they should have casted it around him. Satchel and his friends. Satchel and co. I just want to let you know I've made an executive decision to move to your toaster. Of course.
Starting point is 01:00:04 How could we do two dear toasters? And we need to get this episode up. Yeah. Of course. Of course. Okay. Our third story. Tiger Woods, my inspiration is breaking his silence after DUI charges in car crash.
Starting point is 01:00:15 So Tiger Woods tweeted saying, I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I myself in today. I'm stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery. I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and
Starting point is 01:00:34 professionally, I appreciate your understanding and support and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones, and myself at this time. Like, once again, I personally, like, don't care about Tiger Woods. Right, so I'm honestly happy to give privacy here because... It's going to be that one of easiest things I've ever done. I'm going to give
Starting point is 01:00:50 Amanda and Wes, not so much. Yeah. I like when people say, like, thank you in advance for your privacy and attention to this matter. And it's like, girl, I didn't agree to that. No, I also, it's like, in this situation, what a waste of words. Like, because that is never going to happen. I just can't
Starting point is 01:01:07 believe we're talking about Tiger Woods at a time like this. You know what I mean? It's like, he should be so thankful. Yeah. To Scamandival. Yeah, but he's like got his own problems. Oh, also. West Mandeval. Do you see that people say, like, he's hooked on pills, probably from an injury. And then he. Yeah. Yeah, I've seen dope sick.
Starting point is 01:01:21 Yeah, for sure. Like, but they couldn't hire a driver. Right. They couldn't even pay their rent. Right. It's like there's quite literally no excuse. His obsession with driving. Like, no, but he does.
Starting point is 01:01:30 He sounds like you. Oh my God, he does. You're obsessed with driving. I know, but he's like a teenage girl who like just got her license and like wants to drive everywhere. The mom's like, I need eggs. She's like, I'll go. Yeah. That's not me though.
Starting point is 01:01:42 I'm never like, I want to, I want to drive. No, that's Ben. But I just, that is Ben. My husband, like, I think it's also when we're always like in a house together. Maybe he just said he needs a break from us. I mean, I think that's normal. I'm like, oh, my hair is kind of not. He's like, I'll go get your hairbrush.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Like, yeah. Any excuse to get out of the house? Yeah, we're like cooking and then we need, oh, this could have used some basil. Oh, that's some. Yeah, he's so great. I'm like, no, we didn't like need it. It just would have been a nice garnish. You don't have to run out for a garnish.
Starting point is 01:02:07 Ben is so crazy because he was working yesterday and I get a face time from him and Kaley Dickerson. Like, that's so bad, you know? Classic stuff. Yeah. Are you ready for our fourth story? Mm-hmm. Hopefully it's about Amanda and Kyle.
Starting point is 01:02:24 I mean, like, don't want to talk about anything else. I agree. I genuinely don't want to talk about the other story. So I'm going to bring up something. What are they? I'm going to bring up something about Amanda and Kyle that we haven't spoken about yet, okay? Yeah, I'm just trying to like, how can I beat this horse anymore? Oh, well, we didn't talk about the Dave Portnoy of it all.
Starting point is 01:02:39 Yeah, so Dave Portnoy shared. He was like, I can't believe people are talking about this. Yeah, this also was... I heard about it at the Super Bowl from chicken fry. This was a column and this is, true column unless Dave Portnoy also has a flavor of wings coming out. Right, right. That was also leading us to believe perhaps this wasn't an elaborate brand partnership.
Starting point is 01:02:58 He like reposted the tweet breaking the news and was like, this is old news. Chicken Fire told me about it at the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl was six weeks ago. And I do believe that brand of chicken fry is a trusted source in this because she very much runs in that crew with West and like fibula. They all go out together. She is a friend of West, if not like an X flame. I thought they definitely had hooked up.
Starting point is 01:03:19 They definitely had. That was a great like get for both of them and she should have been on the show. Yeah, I don't know. But she did barstool Beach House. Whatever. And so this I think also is leading a lot of people. And I think people are just eager to find more wrongdoings with them. And I think a lot of people want there to have been cheating and just like timeline issues with her divorce.
Starting point is 01:03:40 When did she announce her divorce? But they had said that they were living apart since October November. Right. there were rumors around BravoCon and they like refused to admit it but we now know that they were true. So let's say, let's give them grace, November. He said that he found out of the Super Bowl, which is February. I do believe that's enough time for it to have been clean. Definitely crazy, like quick to move on, but happens all the time.
Starting point is 01:04:09 January 20th. By the way, Michaela Agarra's dating. January 20th is when they announced the Super Bowl was like two, three weeks later. But yeah, they were so done for so long. Like I don't even, she could have been with someone the next day and I would have understood. Do you know that Michaela Negara has a boyfriend? Of course she does because she's a queen who wouldn't want to be around her. Her high school sweetheart.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Oh, I love that for her. Yeah, she was talking about it on TikTok. Ruding for her. I think Michaela Nagara might be the thing to get you to download TikTok. Oh, I follow her on IG, but she doesn't post a lot. I'm cracking up. You follow her on Instagram? That's so funny.
Starting point is 01:04:42 I did recently because I'm like, I want to support my faves. Yeah. Also, the thing with Amanda, it's like, girl, you need to heal, no? spend time I don't know what the fuck she needs. Isn't that what they say? So I guess on a recent episode she talked a lot about how she's like really low self-esteem
Starting point is 01:04:58 and this is definitely the type of behavior and like self-sabotage that you would expect from somebody with low self-esteem. I think anybody who puts up with like the marriage she put up with either has low self-esteem or that caused her to have low self-esteem. But at a certain point
Starting point is 01:05:12 like this is one of my like all-time favorite things to say is like I hate when people like act like they have no personal agency over their own life. And it's like, well, this happened and this happened. It's like, okay. Yeah. Also, like she just got out of a marriage that was like a long relationship.
Starting point is 01:05:27 Even if you're feeling something for West, like, why don't you put that on the back? Why do you have to act on it immediately? Focus on yourself. Heal yourself. Be alone. Find out things about yourself. And then maybe you wouldn't be interested in someone like Wes because he's the same person you just left. But if you're still interested in him, then there's some breathing room and you could
Starting point is 01:05:46 figure out like the right way to deal with it. What were the other two stories before we wrap? Like something about Chloe and Lamar from his documentary. Okay, wait, the documentary, it actually looks really dark to the point where, like, I actually don't know if I want to watch it. It's just, like, really in depth about his addiction and, like, crazy stories of, like, Chris Jenner picking him up from a crack house. Chloe talking about the smell of crack.
Starting point is 01:06:05 Did you see that clip? No. I actually feel like I do want to watch it. I just don't know if I'll get around to it. I feel like we always have questions about this period. He, like, also talks about why they... Oh, I think they're being very clear. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:15 So it, like, sort of fills in all the blanks. I heard Chloe tell this story. It was so crazy. She was like, once you've smelled crack, like, it is the most foul, disgusting smell. And she's like, I walked into my house, and I knew that he was smoking crack. And I believe this was after his overdose.
Starting point is 01:06:32 He pretended to be mute. She was taking care of him. And he just pretended to be a lot worse than he was so he could stay living there and, like, work on getting drugs. And he had a cell phone. They're opening up, like, deeply. Wow.
Starting point is 01:06:47 And he also shared, like, why he, married Chloe. And remember they got married really quickly and engaged really quickly. And he said, his friend had said that he was doing it to try to like better his future because like the Kardashians know people and have connections. He said, I'm watching how she lives in their lifestyle. I'm like, this is how I want to live. He did love Chloe, but he had wanted to be on reality TV for a long time. Yikes. Oh, that's really sad. And it was his idea to pitch Chloe and Lamar the TV show. It was. Like he wanted his own show. That makes me really sick. I know. Like overall, like I respect. his honesty and I think that's like a huge part of recovery is like sharing the worst parts of yourself but like I don't think that overwhelmingly this is a good look for him and like no
Starting point is 01:07:26 if anything it's crazy how much Chloe did for him like with no recognition behind closed doors for years she's an even bigger queen than we already knew but like we knew that she does everything for everyone but like the amount of like love and care that she like to what point while he was her husband and also while he was not yeah and well I believe he like kind of ruined Rob's life yeah I mean he is my birthday buddy but at a certain point like you just sort of have to That sort of has to like take it back. Yeah, you can't let that caught your judgment of a person. I struggle with it.
Starting point is 01:07:55 I mean, me and Jessica Simpson. Yeah, it's hard. Me and Sally Field. But she's an easy one to stand. Ben was really excited when I told him Sally Field is my birthday buddy. My husband? Yeah, because when he was on the toast, I told him they're making his book into a movie. Whose book?
