Coach, I'm curious.
You're headed to Lubbock.
It is tortilla town.
It's a really cool environment, so all our guys know about it.
We're looking forward to the game.
You know, you know me, I'm a fullback.
Tortillas fly in the air.
Give me some foods.
I can put it in back.
Let me get after it.
Coach, are you going to throw tortillas with a fix is that?
Exactly.
Throw me some chicken and some steak while you're at it, you know?
Put some protein on that tortilla.
Throw me burritos and then, you know, tacos on.
I'll get after it.
Light it.
The Triple Option is brought to you by Wendy's.
Wake up with Wendy's 2 for $3 breakfast.

Rob Stone, Mark Ingram the 2nd.
Long time, no see, boys.
Live in the flesh.
We are here live this Tuesday because the first college football
playoff rankings of the season were just released.
We're going to be here.
for the next couple Tuesday evenings as well, live with immediate reaction.
As always, thanks for joining us.

So tomorrow over on YouTube, you're going to get our full episode.
BYU head coach Kalani Sataki is going to join us as well.
We're going to talk all things, BYU, who's a great interview.
They are. BYU is, um, they're in the top 10, my friend. Yeah, we'll talk to the big, it was a good night for the
big 12. We'll get to that in the second. Again, new episodes every Wednesday on YouTube, wherever you get your
podcast as well. And again, as I mentioned, we're going to be reacting Tuesday nights once these
rankings drop. Please leave questions. Please leave comments for us. So we have a chance to answer them and react
to them. So now we begin with any given Saturday and it's kind of like any given Tuesday for the next
couple weeks where we're going to talk about the college football playoff rankings and the bracket,
of course. First up, a quick catch-up on the format. Again, 12 teams make the playoffs. The five
highest-ranked conference champions get an automatic bid with the next seven highest-ranked
teams filling out the field. Remember, though, there has to be that power, that group of five
team lurking out there. New this year, though, the top four seeds, regardless of conference guys,
regardless of your conference champion or not,
we'll get a first round by.
It's a good addition.
As it should be.
I think everybody agrees with it.
And reminder,
all first round games will be hosted on the campus
of the highest ranked team.
All right.
So let's get to the rankings right now
that just came on out.
And a couple themes are there.
And let's start at the top.
One, two, and three,
the unbeatens, Ohio State, Indiana,
Texas, A, and it's the same way
that the AP poll had it as well.
Mack Rhodes, the Baylor Athletic Director,
the college football playoff committee chairman said we had a robust discussion about the top
three coach i start with you since you're a buck i did they get it right with ohio state sitting
there at number one oh they did we got to see ohio state up close and personal twice actually
three times this year uh offensively they're they're so much improved from when they were at
texas i love indiana i love their staff i love their players and and we've seen them at least
once, maybe twice this year, I can't recall.
Ohio State has better players at the end of the day,
and that's not a disrespect to IU at all.
IU, just watching the NFL draft, Ohio State,
it's going to be ridiculous again.
So at the end of the day, they got it right.
Does that mean Ohio State will beat Indiana?
No, I mean, I don't know, man.
IU does not make mistakes.
The one that is intriguing that is really playing good ball is A&M.
So I can see when I heard that whatever robust means,
that must be pretty intense, sir.
I get it, because those three teams right there,
Indiana has had the best win.
Ohio State has got the best players,
and they're playing their, you know,
what's off on both sides of the ball.
Ridiculous defense,
and then the quarterback's, you know,
turned into a high-sman candidate,
and then this damn A&M team, man,
kind of came out of nowhere,
because I did not, I watched them early in the air.
I said, yeah, they're right,
but they are playing really good ball.
So they got it right.
It's a long way of saying that.
They got the top three, right, Mark.
Yes.
For a majority, I think the whole top 25, if you look at it, big picture, there's not a
whole lot of moments where you're like, oh, wow, somebody really got hosed or somebody
got elevated.
Maybe, you know, like the one thing that jumped out to me, I put a little star on is where
we happen to be going this Saturday for Big Noon kickoff is Iowa up there at number 20,
and they've got a great opportunity as they're unranked in AP, right?
I'm going to go double check that right now, but I feel like,
They aren't.
I'm looking, I'm looking, no, they are not ranked in the AP.
And again, the AP right now, thank you for your service.
Which you don't matter.
But you don't matter anymore right now.
It is all about the college football playoff rankings.
Mark, any themes, any surprises, anything that jumped out to your eyeballs.
And we'll get to BAM in a second.
It's the respect for the Big 12 here, in my opinion.
BYU sitting at 7, Texas Tech sitting at 8.
That's a showdown.
You have a top eight showdown in Lubbock this weekend.
Then you got Utah sitting at 13.
So they have one loss.
Tech has one loss.
And they're up there right there in position to be able to make a run for this playoff pitcher.
We're looking at the, with these current rankings, you're looking at two big 12 teams possibly being able to get in this thing.
Bam.
You know what I mean?
So a chance for two is legit.
Now again, only three big 12 teams were in the top 25 rankings, but all three within the top 13.
And clearly, they value Utah to a high degree sitting there at number 13.
And, you know, this is something we've been banging on the drum for a while.
Like, if the Big 12 was really going to grow, if it's really going to try to compete with the Big Tens and the SECs,
it needs to get at least two into the college football playoff.
And with the first ranking, and there's a lot of all left to be played, like a quarter of the season left,
they appear to be in pretty good position.
Also, Stoner, you're talking about maybe they're the third conference over there?
Not maybe.
Not maybe.
Yes, because the ACC right now very much looks one and done.
They do not have a team in the top 12.
So you had to go down to number 14.
In the top 13, 14, 14, Virginia at number 14.
So Virginia is going to get one of those 12 spots right now.
That's kind of like an ACC holder, if you will.
But if you look at the ACC, yes, they have five teams in the top 25, but it's 14 Virginia, 15 Louisville, 17 Georgia Tech, 18,
Miami, 24 pit, which can really cause that pit team. Watch out. They're going to, they have the
ability to cause havoc over the next couple of months, or the next month in change. But I, I think
the ACC right now is one and done. Let's, let's, uh, big 12 is looking at two. Let me jump on
that for a minute because I'm staring at this. And SEC has now surpassed the big 10 again.
I went with the big 10 in the last two years. As of right now, I know it's still a lot of ball left,
but I'm staring at this. The SEC is better than the big 10. And here's why.
You know, the Wolverines, Penn State, and USC are non-factor right now.
And that has really hit the Big Ten hard.
SEC, what do you got?
Six of the top ten?
Yep.
Six in the top ten.
Six in the top ten.
Eight top ten.
And any one of those cats can, I'm looking at Vandy.
I'm looking at, you know, remains to be seen.
But whenever you have the Wolverines, Penn State, USC kind of, you know, messing around what was it 21,
19 and one not ranked.
You know, that's why the SEC is better.
Well, we know the Big Ten's been top-heavy.
You know, we continue to say that the SEC has more depth,
and that's what this is proven to show in the rankings.
But we know that the Big Ten is top-heavy.
But two of those top-heavy cats are non-existent right now.
Penn State and Wolverines are non-factor.
Michigan is there, but all the way down to 21.
They're 21.
They control their own destiny.
went out and somehow find a way to...
You guys sound like Portnoy.
It sounded like Dave Portnoy.
I knew you were going to go there.
All right, now I'm going to add this.
How many days?
I don't know.
I'm going to have 26 days.
Hey, so I was involved in the BCS era.
We both were.
We wanted in 06.
And I think it was 08.
08 was BCS 2.
09, too.
Yep, 09 was.
And then you had the 4 team.
We were involved in that.
This is incredible.
I didn't know if these guys, you know,
had this vision of the parody
and I'm looking at that
this I was worried to be would be
diluted it's not diluted
you got Texas note those teams
Oregon those teams are good enough
to win the national title yeah I'm
talking I'm not they're not good enough team
they have good enough players but
we all know what happens team gets on a run
with that talent
so there's this
the vision of the 12th team playoff
I say go to 16
and keep rolling man
This is incredible what it's done for our sport.
This is awesome.
We love this.
That's awesome, yeah.
See, we're looking at the 12 rings right now, but right now,
first out is Texas and Oklahoma because you have the ACC champ that will get in.
You have the group of five, that'll get, group of six that'll get in.
That would be Memphis right now.
We're going to show the bracket in just a second.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, no, the coach, 100%, man.
This is what, listen, just like we said,
would you have 25 possible teams that have hope and a dream to be able to accomplish
ultimate dream, which is winning a national championship.
And I just wrote down Utah, Notre Dame, Texas are teams that were dead and gone.
Yes.
Notre Dame, for sure.
They're right there again.
Notre Dame, the highest ranked two-loss team out there at number 10.
So we take a look at the bracket right now.
Alabama sitting there, they get a buy.
Bama was dead and gone because they're in the top.
Mark, Bama was dead and gone.
Yep.
They were dead to rights.
And they still got some work to do.
LSU coming to town.
They got Oklahoma, which is ranked 12.
They got Auburn.
They got to go to Arbor, which is always a strange place.
So A&M has Texas at the end of the schedule.
So a lot of this stuff is still going to play out.
So I think they do that.
Go ahead.
Go ahead, Stone.
Let's do a quick exercise.
All right, Mark.
Here we go.
Memphis versus Georgia.
Georgia home.
We'll move on Georgia to the quarters.
That's Georgia Alabama in the quarter final.
How about that?
Oregon versus Texas Tech.
That is a great game.
If Oregon gets past Texas Tech rematch with Ohio State in the quarterfinals.
Virginia versus Old Miss.
If it's Ole Miss, boom, it's A&M.
Two SEC teams going at it.
Notre Dame at BYU.
Wow.
Notre Dame at BYU.
At Provo.
New York in December.
Triple option there.
Cosmo.
It's no, man.
Let it snow.
Put a hoodie on Cosmo.
Get them warmed up, man.
And then the winner takes on Indiana.
Oh, this is fun to look at.
It's fun to look at.
And you know what's even funner to look at?
It's going to be completely different in three weeks.
No.
It might be completely different next week.
My friend.
We're back here live doing the triple option live for you presented by our great partner at Wendy's.
So again, let's just sum things up right now.
Now, ACC, five teams in, but the highest ranked is Virginia at 14.
So they, as of now, are the only team in the college football playoff bracket.
The Big 12 has three total teams.
All of them, though, inside the top 13, the Big 12, a real chance to have two into the
playoff situation.
The Big 10, they have the top two teams in Ohio State and Indiana.
Three in the top 10, seven total.
SEC, the big winner, as expected.
total teams in six of them inside the top 12. And that is a look at the first week of your
college football playoff bracket. And by the way, good job, committee. Good job committee.
I think they did an excellent job on this one. That's only week one. They did an excellent job
with that robust conversation. Robust conversation. All right, well, we're not done
conversing right now. Can we have a robust conversation about?
the coaching situation, particularly in the SEC.
Mark, the Barners.
The Barners, again, are looking for another head coach.
Literally a quarter of the SEC head coaching jobs are open after Hugh Freeze was
fired over the weekend.
So LSU's open, Florida, Auburn, and Arkansas.
And, of course, Penn State is sitting out there as well.
How many P4 jobs is open right now?
Let's see.
We have 10 coaches that were fired before November.
That's the most since 78.
And that number could grow.
Wow.
Hugh Freeze, 15 and 19 and 2 plus seasons,
is going to get close to 16 million in a buyout.
Some of the Hugh Freeze numbers, you know,
it kind of, you understand why they decided to make that move.
You know, he came in with all that offense and all the expectations down there,
and it never quite hit, struggled in SEC play, struggled against ranked teams,
and he's gone.
This isn't, this feels, though, it feels, Mark, it feels more than just a college football program or problem.
It feels more than just an SEC problem.
It feels like this, though, is an Auburn problem that they have now created,
that they are churning through head coaches and not really sure where they're going with their future.
Well, coach, you've been a part of successful teams.
I've been a part of successful teams, both college and NFL.
and the thing here is you have to be aligned
from the president to the AD to the head coach
to the coaching staff to the players
it has to be a pair
it has to be a vertical
in sync type of rhythm
you know for you to be successful and it seems like it's kind of
off like you know how you play Tetris
and you just keep stacking up on you quick
and like now you lost you know what I mean
so it just seems like they're not in cohesion
right now, and honestly, we love it.
We love it.
You're speaking of for Bama.
Bama loves it.
I hope the dysfunction continues.
You know, I was ready to be critical.
I just don't know enough about Auburn.
I've had some colleagues that have a coach there,
and obviously a spectacular place should be one of the elite jobs,
and for some reason it hasn't.
They had a coach with Tupperville that got the better of Alabama a lot.
I want to say he won six and a round.
at one point five in a row and at one point six in a row against who Alabama Tommy
Tupperville six in a row oh yeah that's when Bama was really struggling and then and then
you had Gus Mouson that I want to say was three and five or I mean at least you know
that's against a Nick Saban Alabama numbers because I don't remember all these damn
Arbor wins yeah in my life it's it's been a it's been a little bit fuel far between
recent but Tommy Tupperville back in the day Mark
Yeah.
That was probably right before you.
Tuberville, 85 wins, 40 losses from 99 to 08.
85 and 40.
A 68% winning percentage.
That's when they had Cadillac named them, right?
That's when they had Cadillac name, right?
Buddy Brown.
Yeah, yeah, okay.
And then after him was Gene Chiswick.
Remember Chiswick, 64% winning percentage, 33 and 19.
That was from 09 to 12.
Gus Malzahn, 66% winning percentage from 2013 to 2020.
Brian Harsen, 43% winning percentage.
They only gave him 21 games.
He went 9 and 12.
And then Hugh Fries, 15 and 19 overall.
1 and 12 versus ranked teams, 6 and 16 versus the SEC.
So Auburn will have paid its last three football coaches, $52 million in buyouts.
Wow.
Just in buyouts.
Gus Malz on, 21.
Harson, 15, Hugh Fries, 16.
That's essentially $52 million of dead money.
Yeah.
We keep talking.
Early in the year, we were like,
how are they going to afford these bios?
These schools is not going to stand by
and tolerate losing in bad seasons.
They are going to find that money.
They're going to find it, man.
And you got these programs who have rich histories
and have high expectations,
they're not standing around for it, man.
And Auburn is just the latest one.
Coming up on the Triple Option, Mark Picks's dog of the week,
and we sound off in Coral Gables.
Lady.
We are back with the Triple Option presented by Wendy's, Rob Stone,
doose, Mark Ingram the second, Urban Meyer, here with you.
So the first college football playoff rankings of the season are in the books.
It's time now for...
aggressive bark the deuce deuce dog of the week mark archmanning the man who everyone wanted to down
they wanted to hate on the player but you can't hate the player you got to hate the game
and archmanan went 25 33 328 yards and three tundies against the number nine team in the country
the man is bawling he hit 10 different receivers including a 75 yard touchdown to ryan
go, Archmanning is getting better and better.
And Texas is quietly holding it down, making some noise,
trying to get back into the playoff pitcher.
Archmanning for the doose, dog of the week.
Keep balling, man.
Who cares what they say, man?
Tell them to hate the player.
Don't hate the player, hate the gang.
Happy for that kid, right?
Like all the scrutiny he's been under before the season even started,
the issues that he's had and the intercept.
and the injuries, and then to overcome it and do it in a really classy way.
Do it in a very manning type way, right?
He's never lashed out.
He hasn't spoken up like some quarterback speaking of witch.
Hey, Rob,
keep your head down and keep grinding.
That's what Arshmanor has done.
And that's why he's the dudes, dudes, or a, you can't be a cat.
You can't be soft and be the dog of the week.
You really got to be a dog to be the dog.
There's no other position in all of Sportland, that of a quarterback that
needs playing time.
There's no other position.
That's why when I started hearing all that,
he's going to be a first rounder.
Let him go play for a while.
Oh, play.
And that's exactly what's happening.
He's got the skill set.
Now he's getting the experience.
He's got a really good quarterback coach with Sark.
So it's great to see him coming on.
And that was your fresh take of the week,
presented by Wendy's,
wake up with Wendy's breakfast.
So we're praising Arch, right, for as you said, right?
Head down, grind, get it going.
He's not lighten up anybody.
not giving us these memorable quotes, but you know who is?
The multi-billionaire down there in South Beach.
Oh, gosh.
Big money, Beck, big ball of Beck.
How much money, Mark, talk to me about cash.
They said it, they.
Person Beck, we're talking about it.
They said it was anywhere between the neighborhood of $4 to $6 million to go to Miami.
And then they said in the last 12 months, he's accumulated close to $10 million worth of
$1.10 mil.
deals.
10 mil.
That's what they said.
That's not what Mark said.
That's not what Urban said.
That's not what Stone said.
That's what they said.
They said.
They said.
All right, so we're going to talk about Carson Beck.
As Miami member picked up their second loss of the season this past weekend, they did that
in Dallas, SMU, getting the win.
Prior to that, they fell to Louisville.
Both of those games, guys, they were double-digit favorites, and Beck struggled.
He threw a total of six.
interceptions two versus SMU, four versus Louisville.
Goodness gracious.
That's a lot of interceptions.
Again, it's not always on the quarterback, as we know.
But after the Louisville defeat, he, yes, right.
He took some heat for putting the blame on one of the interceptions on a receiver running the wrong route.
Listen, this happens, correct?
This is part of football.
Sure, sure.
Maybe you don't have to say it, but we all understand this is part of football.
People know that.
In football, people know that.
They know sometimes the receiver runs the wrong route.
Sometimes the ball might get tipped.
Sometimes the ball might get dropped.
But as a quarterback, I've been around some great quarterbacks, some Hall of Fame
quarterbacks.
They all have never pointed the finger.
They take ownership.
They take accountability.
And that's how you get the respect of your teammates.
Well said, Mark.
That was a couple weeks ago.
This week, he was asked if his defense, or I'm sorry, he was asked if the SMU defense
did anything to take away downfield options.
And here was his response.
no i mean they stay they ran the same thing the whole time um i just execute the play that's called
and if i'm given the opportunity to you know if i see something and change something then i will
but again i just execute the play that's called and we weren't able to execute um you know
at a high level at the end to be able to close it out all right so i execute the play that was called
does does that poke you guys in the wrong spot at all or are you all right with it yeah i'm okay
with it, this guy, first of all, Mark, you look on that, that guy's crushed right now.
Yes, he's hurt.
And he's got a microphone in his face 12 minutes after the game or whatever it is.
And that's why I used to always try to let our players and coaches and me take a deep breath
before you go stand in front of a microphone because things happen.
That's not as bad as I thought.
And I mean, here's a guy, though.
Here's reality, Mark.
You start throwing around a double digit million dollars, whatever, 10 million or there's 21, 21 interceptions
in his last 21 games.
and that's going back to when he was at the University of Georgia.
And, Coach, a lot of those interceptions in big games, right,
in games where he needed to be clean.
And I went back and watched because, you know,
I just really enjoy watching the quarterbacks
and I kept hearing about draft status and all that.
And he does have a really great skill set.
But you can't, you know, that's like a tailback to fumbles, man.
That's just those are those are enders.
Those are canceled.
You know, when those kind of things happen, you just,
now you've got to break down.
why it's happening, and I'm going to point this out and then hand it off the mark.
Remember, 50% of every interception is on the quarterback, 30% on the receiver, 20% on
tip balls, offensive line, tailback, etc.
So over, it's half the times it's his, but you just got to take it and you got to really
take care of the ball, man.
Yeah, turnovers will cause you to lose football games.
That's the number one thing when you're in a team meeting, when you're in a position meeting
is take care of the football.
And unfortunately, in big games, in losses,
Carson Beck has thrown several interceptions.
He has nine interceptions this year.
And six of them have came in losses, right?
Is that right, Stoner?
Six of something like that?
Yeah, well, those two Louisville and SMU, those six interceptions in those two games.
They're not always your fault, but they go under your stats.
And right now, nine interceptions, $10 million?
Boy, again, about a million and some change per INT, Stoner.
Miami's paying a lot for those interceptions, is what you're saying.
Yeah, and these NIL people.
Yeah.
10 mils.
So you have to, you have to just to clarify this for people listening.
Mark, how long in the NFL do you have to play before you get a 10 million a year contract?
Listen, coach.
That's at least a second.
Hey, coach, I played 12 years.
I never had a $10 million a year contract.
Think about that, Rob.
Think about what he just said.
He's a leading rusher in New Orleans Saints history.
As soon as you brought that up, Coach, my gut reaction.
saw it. I just turned my head and looked up and I was like,
oh, this isn't going to go well, man. I've never
once got paid $10 million in one year
in 12 years.
And you know what? It's led to that. And I'm happy for them.
I'm happy for the kids. Agreed.
Agreed. I'm happy for the kids. It's led to new
questions from NFL GM, scouts and head coaches
ahead of the draft, right? Coach, you've dealt with us.
Like, how is this kid handling money?
How is this kid handling prosperity? Because you used to have to
fight for it, right? In college, to get
it at the NFL. Do you, do you, do you
lose that dog, Mark, to your point.
And not everybody loses that dog, but, I mean, that's generational, life-changing money
that we're talking about.
That is real well.
Coach, I know a couple weeks ago, you were in our nation's capital in D.C.
And some people out there decided to do some funny math.
They said, coach met with the Pennsylvania senator, so one plus one equals you're the next head coach of the Nittany Lions.
I didn't quite do the math that way,
but there's people out there,
I think, who have done that coach?
Yeah, yeah, some well, who is the guy again?
My phone started blowing up.
Zach Gelb, I believe, was his name?
Yeah, I give him some credit right now, apparently.
Yeah, and you got to give him credit.
And he has two sources that said that I met with the senator that became,
we became friends, Rob, you were there with Dave McCormick.
When we covered a Penn State game,
and I stayed in touch with him, and we had breakfast in the Capitol.
and we talked politics, Mark.
And then there's another one.
He said, the source says that I had conversations
with Penn State about the NIL,
and I didn't know how to handle the NIL or something.
So, first of all, that never happened.
Figure it out, man.
How do you not handle NIL?
How do we get the two sources on our show here?
Can we invite the two sources?
Call it into the triple option sources.
Good one.
Yeah, put it in the comment section.
It just cracks me up when people sit at a whatever.
You have no idea.
Make a story, man.
The last two weeks, people are like, is coach coming back to coach?
I'm like, Mark.
No.
Coach, I don't know if you know that.
Like, Mark and I get this all the time.
All the time, we have to answer for you because that's what happens when you're a Hall of Fame head coach.
That's one three dad.
We'll just list your sources.
Even your boy, coach.
My dad, Mark won.
He hits me up like, you see this?
I'm like, coach.
Does he want to come to East Lansing?
I'm like, coach is on the T-box, man.
like, don't send this stuff to my phone,
but don't send
stuff to my phone.
All good.
Coach is on the T-box.
Once again, chicken steak or fish.
I'll take that life all day.
Coming up next on the triple option
presented by Wendy's.
We are joined by the head coach
of the undefeated BYU,
Cougars.
It's a great conversation
with Kalani Sataki.

Welcome back to the Triple Option presented by Wendy's Rob Mark Urban. We are now joined by the head coach
of the undefeated.
Put some respect by that.
BYU.
Put some respect on it. Cougars, my goodness.
Kalani Sataki, thanks so much for joining us.
Huge game.
Game of the week in my eyes down in Lubbock this week for you guys.
Texas Tech taking on BYU.
You guys enter this one off of a buy week as well.
What have been the preparation points for Texas Tech on Saturday?
Well, I mean, you've got an extra week to work on them
and then actually, you know, looking at the game that they played against Kansas State.
It's always good to get extra time,
after prep time, but, you know, looking forward to the game and the matchup,
and this is kind of what November is all built for.
You know, Coach, so good to be with you again.
You're one of my favorite guys.
We've covered you a bunch, and I think it's good to introduce you to the country
and maybe places that don't really understand Utah, BYU,
and the great football that's out there.
So you talk about the fit.
Think about this for a minute.
So you coached at Utah, and obviously now you're big and me,
You have to be LDS to be the coach, that's Mormon, to be BYU.
You have to understand, which I had to learn about the players that go on missions.
When they're turned 19 years old, a big part of the LDS community,
they go on a mission for two years and they come back.
You have to understand the school, and then also the code of conduct,
which is, you know, that's very unique to that school.
But you talk about a perfect fit.
Kalani Sataki at BYU.
Tell us what makes you a perfect fit.
I don't know if I'm a perfect fit other than I played here.
I grew up cheering for BYU.
I got to play for a legend named Lavelle Edwards who I try to pattern what he did for me
when I was a student athlete here and try to do that for these players because I think it does
work and even though you have to adapt it to the nowadays, you know, I think the old school
principals do carry forward.
And then I've had a lot of help along the way.
So, you know, Urban, you've been really huge for my progress as a coach.
I mean, when I was at Utah, you were able to give me the opportunity to speak to you
when I first got hired on at Utah when you guys were prepping for the Fiesta Bowl.
And then, you know, whenever I would come and do some professional development with you guys
when you're in Florida and at Ohio State.
So a lot of that is development and learning.
And so I learned quite a bit from amazing coaches like Lavelle Edwards, Kyle Whittingham, and Irvin-Myers.
So all I had to do was pay attention and listen and apply it to what we can do here in my time as a former player and a return missionary.
I mean, I'm the first head coach to serve the mission in that time.
And so I understand what these young men are going through.
And you think about it, Mark and Irvin, you think about when you're playing the prime part of your life you leave and you pay for your own way.
You pay your own way to go serve for two years of the people all around the world.
And you get called to places that maybe majority of them have to learn another language.
You're definitely on your own.
And in the prime part of your life where you don't date,
you don't do anything with entertainment and movies and things like that,
you're just focused on serving the Lord and serving your fellow men.
And then you come back from that and you play football here at this school,
and you play football, there's a lot of return missionaries that play in college football.
And you can imagine mentally what type of person that the young man would be
and the type of teammate he would be.
And so physically they're not ready, but we get them ready.
And mentally, the culture is built on people that are willing to sacrifice and will need to help.
And I'm just the product of that.
I'm a guy that is at this position that had a lot of people that helped out,
helped me out as a coach and as a player.
And I'm just trying to, you know, carry it forward.
Let's talk about that real quick.
I want to stand that subject.
It's so interesting.
And it can be an advantage and it also can be a disadvantage, the mission.
So when I first was hired to Utah, Kyle really helped me through that whole dilemma.
not really a dilemma but so 19 years old they leave and what percentage of guys or how money on
your team used to be a high percentage i'm not sure it's still as high as it used to be uh certainly
not at utah and then the reality that when they come back a lot of times with what they're doing
for those two years like you said serving your school serving your religion serving the lord and
then they come back they're really grown men i mean that that is a mature so first of all how
many and then do you consider that a bonus that BYU has?
Yeah, of course.
I mean, normally we're around 60%, you know, players have served missions.
But the interesting thing is that they join a team fully young men that are willing to help
and serve.
I mean, we do a lot of service projects on our team.
The goal is to be a part of something bigger than yourself and trying to get these young
men to think of others, especially when you're at a time with NIL and RevShare and all those
things, trying to get them to think of others and think of even their family members.
That's what I try to do as a head coach that a lot of hard work went for them to be
where they're at right now, but a lot of people sacrificed for them to be there, you know,
and so you build that around people that are willing to serve and willing to help
and really forget about themselves.
And then, Irvin, you know, that makes a great teammate.
And Mark, you know, you've been around great team.
Yes, sir.
And so, you know, then these guys have been able to do that.
But also, you know, just being able to rely on on following.
a savior and being a disciple of Christ,
that's the toughest man that ever walked this earth.
So there's a lot of different ways
that do things that I think it carries over
and people can follow Christ and follow his teachings.
It works in business.
It works in family life, works in football.
So we're just trying to make it work and then trying to,
I mean, look what it did for Ohio State last year
and things that they've been able to accomplish, you know?
So there's a lot of things that we were trying to move forward with
and it can't just only be about football.
Yeah.
Well, Coach, man,
we appreciate you know i'm a big fan man i love your demeanor i love your humbleness i love
your killer attitude when you get on the on the field but man everyone's chasing these five-star
recruits and i could admire that because i was a three-star recruit i didn't get my fourth star
until i got an alabama offer um but am i wrong if there's no five-stars on your roster
i don't think i don't think so i mean looking at um you know i'm looking for five-star
character you know yeah yeah five-star work ethic that that's that's uh
That's, those are things that I'm looking forward.
And that's, I mean, what you've been of accomplishing in your career, that that's where you, you did it because you had it in here and you had it up here.
And so, I mean, that that's a, that's a stuff that I think, you know, I'm actually just, I'm attracted to young men that, that want to be mama's voice.
You know what I mean?
And young men that, that, that want to be obedient to their parents because I think if they do that, then then they'll definitely listen to me.
For sure, for sure.
Wow.
is bear bachmire a mama's boy oh yeah he's a mama's boy and a daddy son and then he's also got
you know he's he's got big brothers that take care of him too so i mean i i saw a stat about um you know
last last freshman to lead uh their two freshmen lead his team to a six and o record or something
that was was hank bachmire so uh it helps when you really well it happens a big bro that's done it before
So that's pretty cool.
And, you know, and seeing Hank around here, I mean, we had to play against him when I first got a head job.
And he was so tough mentally and physically that it just makes sense that the brothers would be the same way.
So it's really cool that we have Tiger on our team and that we have Bear being able to, you know, be behind the center.
I mean, he's been an amazing young man and just humble and we just got to keep him that way.
Did you expect this level of competitiveness and success from him when you guys had to be forced into this quarterback change in the middle of the off season?
Well, you know, that's an interesting part is that he wasn't able to be here for spring ball.
He was at Stanford.
And so the fact that we had him kind of in the summer, we knew that there was something about him because we recruited him before.
And we knew that he had the ability.
But we wanted to see how these quarterbacks competed.
And once we open up the competition, they all.
started to thrive and become better. It elevated the whole room, which was really cool. And when
you can have a competition take place where everybody gets better, but they're also working together
to help each other. That's something super special. And so that speaks to the room. It speaks to
Aaron Roderick as our offense coordinator and quarterback's coach and Matt Mitchell. And so those
guys have bought into the culture of being about the team. And then it just so happens. I only know
one way, Urban, you know that. It's like, I play the best. And if I can play the best,
I can always walk through the locker room and with my head up high and I can look people in the eyes.
And that's the standard that we have.
So if you are the best, you get out there and you play and you earn your time on the field.
Coach, let's talk about a big picture here in the country that just relating it back.
When I was at Utah, we would talk and I just use it as motivation where people would, you know,
overlook the Mount West Conference.
And obviously the Big 12 is, you know, one of the top four conferences in America.
but do you use it as motivation, the FCC, the Big Ten, all that conversation,
or are you just trying to stay in-house?
And that's the first part of the question.
The second part of the question,
have you had a chance to look around this country
and what's your thoughts on the Big 12 relative to SEC slash Big Ten?
Well, the first question is, I'm not, I mean,
we have to be open to discussing whatever is out there.
But when they first started in January on building what we want to accomplish
this year, there was a huge sense for me to talk to the team about confidence versus
arrogance. And the confidence that you can get is all from eternal. It's all from people
that are in this building to see what we're able to do. It's from the guys that grind and
work hard during the offseason from January all the way to fall camp. And so we discussed
being confident means that you have to work hard and that you have to work hard as you possibly
can. And then you have to see the improvement that you've made from January to August. Then you
have to build on that. And so in order to avoid arrogance, arrogance happens from external
factors. And so really, that's the praise and the criticism. They all mean the same. If
we can just avoid listening to the outside noise, I think, you know, coaches have used it
for us, because mentioned rat poise and things like that. I think it goes both ways, man.
It's like the criticism and the praise are both dangerous. How are they?
supposed to criticize us or praise us when they haven't really been in the building.
They haven't been in the stadium when it's empty running those stairs.
They haven't worked through all the pain and the grind and the grit of it all.
You know, so our guys are able to do that together.
And we bought into this list,
build confidence rather than worry about the external factors.
And then even right now when we're in this position where people are campaigning
and trying to work their way in and talk their way in, man,
we're just going to keep quiet, stay humble and just go to work and see what happens.
But I'm really pleased with the way the guys have been responding to what we ask them to do.
We just got to keep it rolling, man.
And then all I care about is us performing at our best this weekend.
And then we can live with the results if we can do that.
Yeah, Coach, we talked about your quarterback, Bear Backemeyer, but you guys have explosive offense.
L.J. Martin, Chase Roberts, Parker Kingston.
The defense is tough.
But you said your quarterback has this fullback mentality.
And if people who don't know, fullback mentality means you a dog,
means you a tone setter.
How does Bear make this offense go?
How is his ability to have that fullback mentality
going to help you guys in Lubbock on Saturday?
Well, you know, I mean,
I look like an old lineman right now,
but I used to be a fullback back in the day.
You know what I mean?
And all the fullback is is an old lineman in the backfield.
It just means that I'm only a six-footer,
and I had good hands to catch the ball.
Other than that, I would have been an old lineman.
So when you have that mentality,
it means that you're not afraid to run inside.
You're not afraid to do whatever it takes.
to help the team, not afraid to make sure that the spotlight goes to somebody else.
You know, and so I played in 50 football games here at BYU, my career.
I scored one touchdown.
It's the most glorious touchdown you ever see.
But I blocked for a lot of guys.
I mean, I blocked everybody that was in the backfield, the tailbacks have all rushed for
over 1,000 yards.
That's a huge badge of honor for me.
So when Bear has that mentality of just do whatever it takes to help the team and you
have that at a quarterback position, you're willing to do.
do whatever it takes physically, mentally, and then just spiritually, just buy into what everybody's
doing.
I mean, he's just having fun out there, you know, he, nobody tell him that he's only a true
freshman, but I think a lot of it is just, he's just, he's approaching it like, man, I just want
to be part of this team and help out however I can.
We've been able to see him progress throughout the year from the beginning to now, and I,
I see him, there's no ceiling right now.
I see him achieving a lot of different things, but all we're asking to do is do his
11th and do his part, and he doesn't have to do it alone.
And that's the really cool thing about it is that he understands he doesn't have to do by himself.
He has a great old line that he can lean on and receivers and skill all around him at running back and tight end.
And he's all, he's a complete team player.
I mean, his older brother is one of the receivers.
And so there's a lot of things that he does as super mature and doesn't look very young at all.
That's awesome.
Coach, I hear you talk about that one touchdown.
I saw that little gleam in your eye right there.
Tell me about that one touchdown.
What went into it?
Where was it and everything else?
It wasn't anything special.
I think I was supposed to be a Max Pro, and nobody was open, you know, and so I chipped the end,
and I think I just released in the quarterback.
It wasn't a checkdown.
It was like a double checkdown.
It was like, man, do I really want to throw to this guy?
And then he had no other choice in the throat.
So he threw it to me, and I turned, and there was nobody there except for a cornerback sitting in the end zone.
I was going to get in no matter what, you know, and so, I mean, that's, other than that,
I was happy.
Listen, I had a saying that if you needed one yard, two yards.
are, just give it to me. If you need a three or more, give it to the guy behind me.
I don't mind being a check down route runner. I mean, running a wheel route and a go route,
that's taxing when you're on your over 250. You know what I mean? So I was okay with just running
the flat routes and doing a little bit of chip blocking, doing the lazy swing after that.
Hey, coach, I'm curious. You're headed to Lubbock. It is tortilla town. And we want to make light of it.
You want to have some fun with it. But obviously, there's some new rules in play. I'm
curious, where do you stand, particularly as an opposing coach on that great tradition of throwing
the tortillas out at the opening kickoff down in Lubbock? I mean, I'm always about embracing
college football together. And so that's even the environment where you go on the road and you get
to see these awesome venues and you get to see fans that love their team so much. So I'm asking
our guys to embrace the whole thing. We've done that every time we go on the road to have fun in
that environment. And then, you know, so I don't have anything personally.
against what they do.
I just, for me, it's sad because I want to see that I want to see everything, you know,
and I want to see the whole, I mean, when you're at BYU, there's a guy named Mike Leach
that, that coached out Texas Tech, we all followed him.
And so because he was a BYU guy, you know, and I mean, I, I love him so much.
She was a great friend of mine, you know, and then I had his son, Cody Bubba over here
with us working for me on our staff for a few years before he went back to work with his dad
at Mississippi State.
So we always followed Texas Tech and always cheered for him.
We had a lot, I had a lot of former teammates that played for him.
And so we always saw those games.
And it's a really cool environment.
So all our guys know about it.
We're looking forward to the game.
You know, you know, me I'm a fullback.
Tortillas flying in the air.
Give me some food so I can put it in that.
Let me get after it.
But, you know, I'm just looking forward to the fans and the overall environment.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
And I think our guys should just be honored that they get to be in this position.
Coach said, you're going to throw tortillas with a fixin's at.
Exactly.
Throw me some chicken and some steak while you're at it, you know?
Put some protein on that tortilla.
Yeah, throw me burritos and then, you know, tacos on, so I'll get after it.
Hey, we know you got to run.
I want to tell you personally, man, every time we're with you as Big Noon or this,
you're refreshing, your approach, your success.
I'm a huge fan of yours, brother.
There needs to be more coaches like you in this world.
So thanks so much for your time, man.
We're a fan of you and fan of BYU.
Fan of you, fan of BYU, fan of Cosmo.
Y'all got it going on out there.
How about Cosmo?
You got to go put him in the back field.
I saw you guys jump in the pool with him.
Be careful.
No, no, no, not everybody jumped in the pool.
I saw you got thrown in around.
But I was about to say, be careful who you hang out with.
You know, if you hang out with causal, you're going to jump in out of airplanes and things
like that and zip lining everywhere.
That's why I keep him at a distance.
I love Cosmo.
go entertain everybody, but man, I can't be doing all that stuff, especially with you guys,
how many suits you guys are ruining and jumping into that stuff?
You guys look too five for all that.
We'll take care of the wardrobe, coach.
We'll get you in there next time.
That's right.
Cosmo is playing checkers.
Thank you.
Coach Sataki's playing chess.
Coach, thanks so much for joining us.
Enjoy your trip down to Lovick this weekend.
Aloha.
Thank you guys.
God bless you, coach.
Welcome back to the triple option presented by Wendy's, Urban Mark, Rob, back here with you.
It's time now for three and out, brought to you by Google.
Let's take a look at what fans are searching for this week.
And remember, no matter what question comes next, you can just ask Google.
Listen, we've seen some big percentage jumps, right, in searches using the Google function.
How about this week?
A 5,000 percent increase in searches asking, what are the best college football uniforms?
So we're going to rank our top three.
Mark, you get first dibs, my friend.
Oh, man.
This is just a fun subject.
But, I mean, so many options.
Right.
All right, let's start backwards.
I'm going to go with...
You got to go clean or wild, Mark.
What are you going on?
Yeah, you're kind of to be either one of those families.
So you can never go wrong with the classic look.
I love the Alabama all whites with the Crimson Tide helmet.
I love a whiteout.
Penn State all white uniforms with the white helmet with the white stripe down it with the
that's just classic and it's clean and it's fresh so I'm gonna go Penn State with the all whites
and a white out that thing is just it's just a maculum it's a beautiful sight to see
then I got to go the money green from the Notre Dame's when they go green on green with the
gold helmet oh that that green is clean and we a the green mean money so the greens with the
gold helmet that thing sharp I ain't
going to lie in Notre Dame.
My mind did something in their thines.
You know what I mean?
And then you got to go with the trendsetters themselves, the Oregon Ducks.
I mean, you can go black on black.
They got like the little war, little things on the shoulder pads with the black helmet.
Then they go black helmet, highlighter green with black.
Then they go metallic helmet with the white, with the green and the black.
They just flip it.
They got combos, 14, 15 different combos.
It's insane the amount.
They had a Grateful Dead uniform a couple weeks ago.
That's what you call flavors, and they got flavors at Oregon.
And if you want to have the flavors, you go to Oregon.
I ain't going to like Oregon.
I really like that.
Man, they are good.
Every week, right?
Every week, it's something new, and they all look pretty darn good.
All right, Coach, your top three uniforms in college football.
Yeah, people would think I really don't care, but I actually did like that subject.
I let her players pick.
But a real quick story when I was at Ohio State early in my career, Gene Smith and I had a meeting with Nike.
They came to Ohio State's campus in the spring, and they sat and they started showing these alternate uniforms, and they put this all black up there.
And I remember I kind of looked up, and I looked over at Gene, and he kind of, we kind of stared at each other for a second.
And afterwards, he said, what do you think?
And I said, we got to do it.
And he says, you know, the fan, the alumni will kill us for this.
Why would the alumni be mad just because they just wanted to be scarlet and gray?
Yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I said, and I even came out in a paper.
And you had to laugh.
I said, you know, I love tradition.
But there's one thing, Mark, I like better than tradition,
it's called recruiting.
And the players love the all-black.
So, all-black, Ohio State, number one.
Hey, by the way, coach, the alums love it, too,
because they are out there buying that new merch.
Oh, you know, they are.
Right, maybe the old, old alums.
And sometimes the old ones get loud.
And Gene said, I'm going to have a black flavor.
Yeah.
Gene said he got killed.
I mean, he said he got, oh, yeah.
I mean, there's five people that's, you know,
So there's, you get killed for five people.
Second one is Gator Blue, you know, the Gators, and I know I'm a homer here.
But when we would roll out that old blue with the orange helmet.
And then finally, I'm going to go clean, the Texas white.
Yeah.
I love the all-white Texas.
Those fast athletes, good-looking players wearing the all-white.
It's interesting.
You guys like the all-white, the clean look.
I'm like dark-mode guy for some reason.
Tennessee, last Saturday, they went dark mode.
all black for a black I'm gonna lie that was hard stone right they had the power tea open up and they
came through like that yeah I'll take all that I hate I hate everything Tennessee but I got
respect what respect is doing that you say it's hard yeah that was hard it looks good man it looks good
it the dark stuff it it hooks me every time Tennessee but understood uh and then I I
appreciate I appreciate blue I create I appreciate creativity and I appreciate a nod to the past
So when the University of Houston came out with their Houston oiler throwback unis.
Oh, wow.
I didn't see that.
I was like, yes, please.
Like, all I could see was like Earl Campbell, Dan Pasterone.
Like, I just saw.
Pasterine.
Billy White Shoes, uh, Billy, Joe Whitechews, Washington, right?
Was that what his name?
Billy Whitechoo Johnson.
Billy Wichu.
Somewhere.
Look at the Wichu.
Look at the Wyshoe.
It looks so clean.
By the way, when old miss rolls out with those light blue kind of teeth.
teal uniforms too.
Those are heat, too.
I give a nod.
And then, Mark, what do I like to do with these three and outs?
You like to go listen to whatever we say and choose the opposite.
Yeah, I like to go a little rogue.
I go a little rogue.
You like to go soccer.
You like to go.
I can.
I can go wrestling.
I can go basketball.
But I'm going, I'm staying with football, but I'm going high school football.
And I'm taking you guys to Shreveport, Louisiana.
Loyola College Prep.
the nickname is the flyers.
So where did they stick on their helmet?
Your kids will love this one.
Your grandkids will love that one.
Snoopy as a World War I flyer hunting the Red Baron.
So remember when he's, Snoopy's got like the goggles
and he's got the scarf floating in the wind
and he's sitting on his dog house trying to gun things down.
They got that on the side of their helmet and right at midfield.
And it looks pretty cool, pretty unique, pretty different.
Maybe not like all-inspiring, like the dark mode at Tennessee, but, man, it's pretty cool.
And we've left so many on the table.
So if there's some great uniforms that we missed, throw it in the comments.
We'll take a look.
We'll see if we agree.
There's some that we missed.
There's some that we missed for show.
It's impossible that we wouldn't miss some, right?
We wouldn't be doing our job if we missed a couple.
But what are you going to do?
It's our choice.
It's our show.
We get to pick the three that we want.

triple option to download the app and take advantage of a 50% profit boost today. So earlier we talked
with BYU head coach Kalani Satake ahead of that huge showdown in Lubbock at Texas Tech. Red Raiders guys
favored by 10 and a half. Seems big. Seems big. Over under 53 in a half. Let's start with
BYU seeking their first road win over a top 20 opponent since 2018. But remember, they're 9 and 1
one on the road since 2024.
So getting away from Provo
doesn't phase them.
Old number 47, coach.
You love number 47.
Our guy, Bear Bachmeier.
Coach talked about a little bit.
First true freshman quarterback guys
to start eight no cents who?
Another Bachmire.
No, coach had it wrong.
Well, remember, true freshman.
Oh, true freshman.
True freshman.
Trevor Lawrence, 28.
at Clemson. So Bachmeier, 20 total touchdowns, just three picks, just three interceptions,
leads big 12 QBs with nine rushing touchdown. So he's already had six games with at least one
passing and one rushing touchdown. So, Coach, I know you've loved dual threat quarterbacks.
Bachmeier is that. The defense allowing just 17 points a game. They've held all eight
opponents under 28 points last Saturday in the win at Iowa State, or I'm sorry, their last game at
Iowa State. Four takeaways, four sacks. They had a buy week, kind of get healthy, rest up for this
huge one. And Texas Tech now, remember, they have that trap game last week, guys, in Manhattan.
Kansas State was kind of starting to figure things out, but they went to Manhattan, took care
of business, winning by 23. Tech, they've got the best point differential in the Big 12. They
are outscoring opponents by 273 points. Second best in FBS. Somebody's outskirts. Somebody's
scoring teams more than
273. They've got the number one scoring and the number
one scoring, I'm sorry, the number one scoring
offense and defense in the conference.
Top five scoring offense and defense
in FBS. Only
one other program is doing that, Indiana.
7-0, though, when
Baron Morton starts the season, remember, his health
has been a big factor this season, and they
lost their backup as well, so they need to keep
Morton upright. They need to protect him as well.
You know, the best thing to do, Mark, to protect your
quarterback?
Run the ball.
Run the damn ball.
And they've got a two-headed attack, right?
Dickie averaging 98 scrimmage yards, Big 12 best 11 touchdowns,
Jacoby Williams, 91 scrimmage yards, eight touchdowns this season.
Last week at Kansas State, 135 on the ground and a touchdown.
I think this is going to be the first of two meetings this season between the two.
Both seem to be on a collision course for a rematch of the Big 12 championship game.
And I say round one goes to the home team.
Texas Tech.
Red Raiders are going to win it by seven, but they don't cover.
Coach, we are off to Iowa City for Big Noon kickoff this week.
Oregon at Iowa, Ducks favored by six and a half.
Over under 52.5.
Remember, the Ducks, just one loss this season, 10-point home defeat to Indiana last month.
I'm worried about this one for Oregon.
I think Iowa was a tough place to play.
I know we got it one time bad there.
It was a night game, so this is a 3.30, I believe, a game.
It's six and a half points.
I went and watched for the Big Noon show.
I watched all of Iowa's games.
They are playing their best football.
I think the best football they played in several years.
Right now, they beat Minnesota 41 to 3.
They hammered Wisconsin, 370, and they beat Penn State, 25, 24.
Their last three games.
They have a great kick return on Norwegian.
has three returns this year for touchdown leads the NCAA.
And their offense, how about this, boys?
They are running a triple-option offense.
How could we not love that?
Yeah, kind of appropriate for this show.
But triple-option means this quarterback, Ronowski, can hand it,
he can pull it and run it, or he can pull it and pitch it or throw it,
and they're running a bunch of it.
And I'm going to show some of that on Big Noon.
So I'm going to pick Oregon to win.
Is their offense better this year than it was last year?
It is.
They're averaging in 32, almost 30.
32 points per game, last year, 27, and then a couple of years, you know, three, four years ago, Mark, they were awful.
15 points per game and 17.
They still can't throw it very well.
They're not very, they're not ranked very high.
But there's Tim Lester, the offense coordinator, is doing some really cool things.
They're much better on offense they were.
So I'm going to go Oregon with a dub, but I think it's going to be a three, four point game.
So I'm going to take Iowa plus a points.
They're talking about cold and.
Rainy in Iowa City, but both those programs kind of built for that.
All right, Mark, LSU, without Brian Kelly, in Tuscaloosa, taken on Bama, the tide favored
by nine and a half, over under 50 and a half, tied of won 12 of the last 14 in this series.
Yeah, man, that's just what we do, man.
They are a little brother, too.
But, you know, LSU coming in, I just hate all these teams firing their coach before they
come play Bama.
Like, just sulk in the sorrow and let us just run over you.
Like, quit doing this.
Quit trying to, like, regain composure and shift the momentum before you play Belma.
This is always happening.
But now, Frank Wilson comes to town, LSU coming to town.
Coming off a biweek, Belma is.
And I like us at home, man.
I think we haven't seen the best version of Alabama yet.
We're throwing the ball really well.
Ty Simpson, Ryan Williams, Jeremy Bernard, hoarding on the outside.
We got to run the football better.
But LSU, they just haven't.
been what they thought we were going to be since the beginning of the year.
Nussmeyer has been struggling because the offensive line, they allow him to get sacked a lot.
They're not running the football well, a lot of tackles for loss.
So this offense kind of is in a crisis identity.
Obviously, we're going to see a new offense, kind of like a new identity coming in.
They're going to be feeling fresh, motivated to come into Tuscaloosa and play Belmontuff.
That's what they always try to do.
Then defensively, they're a star-linebacker their leader, Whit Weeks.
He's been with a bone bruise in the ankle.
We don't know.
He'll be questionable for the game.
So we don't know how the defense, they were supposed to be a strong point.
They've been struggling as well.
So I like Alabama, man, Ty Simpson.
This defense, we've been great on third down.
You know, we got to kind of still, we have been undisciplined at times,
but we've been very opportunistic getting tackles for loss,
getting sacks, getting turnovers for touchdowns.
So I think this Alabama team coming off a biweek, I think we are going to perform really well.
I think that we're going to see a better version of Alabama.
football that you've seen all year long
at home. I like Alabama
in this game. I'm laying the points,
nine and a half. I feel like
Belma's going to roll. I feel like the tie going to
roll. I feel like we're going to keep handling business.
I feel like we're going to keep getting better.
You haven't seen the best version of Alabama yet.
And so I'm laying the points with the tie.
Roll down tie, coach. And what you think,
coach, I don't give a piss about none
but the tie.
