We're live on a very big news day with charges possibly coming for one Don Lemon, you know, the fired CNN host that thought it would be a good idea to storm a church with protesters.
Maybe not such a good idea. Meanwhile, lots more going on that we've got to get to, including Ilhan Omar being investigated, Ilhan Omar being investigated, and five others being subpoenaed.
So Don Lemon, watch out.
Disrupt business as usual. So that's what we're about to go do right now.
stormed a church with him.
Demanding justice for Renee Good and letting them know that this will not stand.
Not stand. Okay. Good luck with that one. I mean, I do realize that he wants to make it all about him.
He's the victim in this case, but the DOJ is not having it.
I said, how did I become the face of this? And my producer said, Don, you're a gay black man in America.
Sorry. You know, if only it were that easy, if only it were that easy, watch out, because harm meets
on it. Imagine you have a bank robbery that's being planned by a number of criminals. The crossing
state lines are using the wires. And then a podcaster says, well, let me embed myself in here
and come along for the ride and live stream the crime. That would not be protected by the First
Amendment. No, no, it's not. So good luck, Dom, dawn, on all of it. Lemon needs a lawyer. Okay,
Ilhan Omar being investigated. You guys, this is a big one. Ilhan Omar, you know, she suddenly like
went from zero to 60, or in her case, 55,000-ish, on 175,000, forgive me, $65,000 was her net worth
worth back in, oh, 2018, and now suddenly she's worth 30 million bucks.
Ohan Omar's net worth went up nearly $30 million.
The question is how?
Yeah, the question is how.
We're going to get into that.
And Gavin, by the way, Gavin Newsom from California is trying to offer the European some advice
on how to deal with one Donald Trump, specifically when it comes to Greenle.
and it's kind of funny.
This guy's playing folks for fools, and it's embarrassing.
Europeans think this is diplomacy, and this will ultimately work.
Oh, this is diplomacy with Donald Trump?
He's a T-Rex.
You mate with him or he devours you.
Okay.
He might agree with that, actually, don't you think?
Actually, he probably does, given that he tweeted this.
He's ready.
He's putting the flag out there.
Welcome to the show, everyone.
It is so good to have you here.
Please do me in favor.
Make sure you're subscribed.
you're already subscribed, double check and make sure you're subscribed. I told you what one of my
producers was going through. Sal was like, I don't understand. I'm subscribed to the show and it keeps
unsubscribing me or it takes me off the alerts. Make sure your alerts are also being hit as well
because we want as money peeps as we can possibly get here. It is very important. Don Lemon. Don
Lemon. Don Lemon is about to possibly be charged with a crime because he decided to storm that church
over the weekend. Like that was ever a good idea. He also seems to have been very aware of this
happening before the fact. Now, I've said from the beginning, you know, you just don't storm onto
private property. And those protesters were in trouble because of that. But I did some digging
over last night and all through today I've spoken with a number of attorneys. And guess what?
this is very, very, very serious for him. And this is probably when he wishes he had a network
behind him because the network and the lawyers from the network would have said, don't go in there
because it's private property. And so even though you say, oh, I'm a journalist and I'm covering
this and I understand that and I'm empathetic to it, but especially as a journalist myself,
again, when I think back and every protest I've ever covered has either been out there
on public display, right, on public land, not on private property, or it's been somewhat
sanctioned. I'm thinking G8, for example, where they sanction it because they allow for
protest to be going on. This was premeditated. He knew that they were about to commit a crime.
He never called it in. He never did anything. He just said, let the cameras roll and went there
with them. Tell us why are you doing this? This is Operation Pull Up More of a clandestine operation.
We show up somewhere that is a key location. They don't expect us to come there. And then we
disrupt business as usual. So that's what we're about to go do right now.
I see disrupting business as usual, which in this case would be a Sunday sermon.
Unforgivable. Unacceptable. And by the way, ladies and gentlemen flat out against the law.
Commanding justice for Renee Good and letting them know that this will not stand.
They cannot pretend to be a house of God while harboring someone who is directing ICE agents to wreak havoc upon our community
and who killed Renee Good, who almost killed a six-month-old baby.
Enough is enough. I am a reverend on top of being a lawyer and an activist.
Okay, well, you're more an activist than anything else.
That's pretty darn clear, and you're obviously a terrible lawyer.
And clearly, Don Lemon never talked to any lawyers before he decided to go marching in there
and thought that was perfectly fine to do.
The president just coming out and saying a few choice words about Mr. Lemon himself.
Moments ago, watch.
They're patriots, and they have to be abused by guys like Don Lemon, who's a, you know, loser, lightweight.
I saw him the way he walked in.
Yes, a loser and a lightweight.
He saw him the way he walked in thinking he kind of owns the place that he could actually tell all these people
that we're going to interrupt your church service.
Not okay.
Not okay.
This is the beginning of what's going to happen here.
When you violate people's due process, when you pull people off the street and you start dragging them and hurting them
and not abiding by the Constitution, when you start doing all of that, people get upset and angry.
And if you remember what the civil rights movement was about, the civil rights movement was about
these very kinds of protests.
And for some reason, in our modern era, people think that in order to have protests, you've got to be, you know, cordoned off to a certain area.
And, you know, what time you can protest.
There's nothing in the Constitution.
Yeah.
Yeah, exactly.
A sanctioned protest.
You can't just storm the streets, you idiot.
That tells you what time you can protest.
You can protest at any time.
That's the whole point of it is to disrupt, to make uncomfortable.
And that's what they're doing.
And that's what I believe when I say everyone has to be willing to sacrifice something.
You have to make people uncomfortable in these times.
If you see how uncomfortable.
So kids are running out of the church.
They're terrified.
Okay, they go in there.
They terrorize these people.
And he's saying, this is what you're going to do.
You're going to make them uncomfortable.
And he doubled down on that.
like in his little stint that he did in the car.
You know, this is all about First Amendment.
I'm exercising my First Amendment.
I'm sorry, buddy.
I got news for you.
There's a woman who's a lot more familiar with the law than you ever dreamt of being.
Her name is Harmeet Dylan.
She used to be a Fox News contributor.
And now she's at the DOJ.
Run on the Civil Rights Division, so you're in trouble.
A number of criminals.
The crossing state lines are using the wires.
And then a...
From the beginning.
Lemon used the word we, not protesters, not they, not them, or any of their preferred pronouns.
He said weed.
Does that put him on the line as a protester and lose his First Amendment media coverage?
I was, this position of his is so stupid that I was trying to figure out how to put it in
layman's terms.
Imagine you have a bank robbery that's being planned by a number of criminals.
The crossing state lines are using the wires.
And then a podcaster says, well, let me embed myself in here.
and come along for the ride and live stream the crime.
That would not be protected by the First Amendment.
And so it is a crime to disrupt and harass and make people in a church or any house of worship
feel unsafe in this country.
And when you're part of that planning and show up and ride along and laugh outside about
and make commentary outside about how disrupting and putting people in fear is literally part of protest
and part of the plan,
You know, we are not reaching conclusions now.
Of course, everybody is entitled to the presumption of innocence.
But if I were giving advice to a journalist about this, which I have done in the past,
I would say do not participate in a crime actively.
No.
You know, that's why I said, like, if you've been working at a network like CNN,
they might have said, you know, maybe you don't want to go in there.
I mean, I can almost predict that that would be exactly what would happen.
You know what?
They wouldn't want them airing that.
And if you had been live on TV when it was happening,
the producers would have been shouting in his ear, get out of the church, get out of the church,
because it's private property. Again, I was kind of wrestling with this because my instinct,
right, my instinct is always to be on the side of the First Amendment. If you're there, you're just
recording, you're observing, are you okay? In this case, it seems premeditated because again,
I showed you the video of him saying, okay, what are we going to do, right? And he kept referring
to the protesters and himself as we as though he was part of the group, which is, by the way,
if you're reporting like a big full pa because you don't suddenly, you know, become one with
troops just because you're there reporting on them. It doesn't really make a ton of sense from
many, many different perspectives. But at this point, guys, Harmeet is not wrong. And I'm going to tell
you, Don Lemon needs a lawyer. Lemon needs a lawyer badly. He is freaking out. I want to go to him
responding to this. Maga administration and the fake news magas are losing their mind
over something that's not even true.
So let me just make it clear.
Is this an assistant attorney general?
I don't know.
Gosh, what's her name?
He knows her name.
This is a little technique that they do in TV.
Anchors, I've seen them trying to do this to each other, actually.
They're just such a nasty little group sometimes, especially this little turn.
Anyway, this guy's trying to pretend like he doesn't know who.
Hamit Dylan's name.
Doesn't know her, doesn't know who.
She's been on TV for a zillion years, right?
She was a Fox News contributor.
He knows damn well who she is.
He's just not willing to admit that he doesn't.
knows who she is because he's trying to, in his own little way, put her down, like he's the big
cheese.
No.
Go on me or whatever.
So, I have no affiliation to that organization.
By the way, she's the one who's going to put you in jail, buddy.
I didn't even know they were going to this church until we followed them there.
We were there chronicling protests.
Once the protest started in the church, we did an act of journalism, which was report on it
and talk to the people.
Sorry.
I'm like choking on my water.
An active journalism.
We did an act of journalism.
You did an act of journalism?
I'm sorry, that's just extremely awkward phrasing.
Maybe go back and study English 101.
...involved, which included the pastor, members of the church, and members of the organization.
That's it.
No, that's really not it.
You were actually part of the troops, right?
You said, we went in.
You were with them.
The protesters, you went in, and you sort of sanctioned what they were doing.
This is what modern day protesting is about.
You break into private.
property and just upset them and terrorize them? You think that's cool? No. First Amendment,
all that stuff, all of you people who believe in the First Amendment, absolutist. There you go.
So why don't you talk to the actual person who is in charge of the organization and whose idea
it was to have the protests at the church before you start blaming me for stuff for which you have
no idea. Oh, don't come after me.
Thank you for your attention to this man.
That's a nice little nod to jump at the end.
I like how he ends his messages, too.
Sometimes I don't know how to get out of a short or something,
and it just ends, and he feels abrupt.
I like the, thank you for your attention to this matter.
Donnie, boy, I'm sorry.
You know what?
And he's trying to make it all about him.
He's like, why is this story me?
Oh, because I'm the most famous one here.
There's a certain degree of entitlement.
I think people who are in religious groups like that.
It's not the type of Christianity that I practice,
but I think that they're entitled,
and that entitlement comes from
a supremacy, a white supremacy. And they think that this country was built for them, that it is a
Christian country when actually we left England because we wanted religion. Okay, in all fairness,
I really don't. I'm not pulling like a TV thing here. Like, I really don't know who that woman is
that he's talking to, the blonde lady, but I keep seeing her over and over and over again with the most
heinous, disgusting sound bites filled, just littered with swear words and everything. So she's clearly
on the left and she seems to hate herself and all white people and all white women. So he's
talking her book. It's religious freedom, but only if you're a Christian and only if you're a white
male, pretty much. And so, yeah, absolutely 100%, but it's an intimidation tactic. And, you know,
I said, I don't understand how I've become the face of it when I was a journalist. I do understand
that I'm the biggest name there. And I'm also, as I was on with my producers this morning,
you know, you and Kylie talk all the time. My producers were saying, I said, how did I become the
face of this? And my producer said, Don, you're a gay black man in America. Oh, so you're the victim.
Gosh, you sound like Ilhan Omar, Donnie. You really do. Goodness, my goodness. Well, things are not looking
good for him. Again, Harmeet's saying something on the Benny show, and I played you some of those
excerpts just yesterday, but one of the things that really sticks out is how she's saying, basically,
that he was part of the troops effectively. He was part of the protest group. He's part of the mob
because he went in there onto private property. And that's the one thing that kind of just stuck out
at me, like private property, raw story picking it up. And I wasn't sure if they were just running
with a story just to make something out of nothing. Trump's DOJ plans to hit X CNN host Don Lemon
with Ku Klux Klan charges. I thought that might be a little far-fetched. We'll go to what
Harmony is saying about the KKK thing in just a second, which there's a certain, you know,
sort of weirdness about it because it was, you know, happening on Martin Luther King Day.
Well, the Sunday protest was not Martin Luther King Day, but of course yesterday was.
Here's the big one that I keep coming back to. It's private property, private property, private
property. I mean, like if protesters just bust into my house or into my studio, yeah, they can
all get arrested. And guess what? If they terrorize me, then you're looking at the FACE
act or the Klan Act, et cetera. We'll get to that in a second. But you can't do that, okay?
That's where Finito, the First Amendment ends because it's private property. Again, the question
is, how much was he sort of won with them? He had obviously knowledge that this was going to happen
beforehand, he didn't call the authorities. No, he said, okay, woohoo, let's go along for the ride.
As Hermit Dillon said, it's the same as joining bank robbers as they cross state lines.
You're part of it at that point. The First Amendment protects speech from government restriction,
but it does not protect anyone who's trying to enter private property and disrupt private
people that are there on private property. Owners, including, yes, thank you very much,
churches control who may remain on the premises and for what purpose. So once a person enters to
protest rather than worship?
You can lock them up, for goodness sakes.
This is bad.
Then you also have this, criminal trespassing.
In most states, for example, Minnesota, including entering a remaining on private property
after being told to leave is criminal trespassing, even without being asked to leave.
Entering with intent to disrupt is, guess what, criminal trespassing.
A church does not lose its private property status just because its doors are open.
And we should add that you can put in disturbing the peace.
Disorderly conduct, storming a religious service is certainly one qualification for that.
They are arrestable offenses.
So yes, there is a big investigation going on right now.
And Lemon's not clear.
No way is he clear.
And he wouldn't be clear if he was at a network either.
Targeting a religious service actually raises additional charges.
So this gets us to the FACE Act, okay?
And this gets us to something called the Klan Act.
the Face Act went in in 1994, and it was actually designed if anybody was protesting at abortion
clinics, it was designed to hit people there. And so they actually wound up arresting a ton of
people under the Biden administration, a ton of conservative Christians that were protesting
in abortion clinics. But it also worked that if somebody was disrupting a place of worship,
then you could arrest them there. And so that's exactly what's happening. So the FACE Act,
and then something that I wasn't familiar with called the Klan Act,
Harmeet, who is a constitutional law scholar,
and now running the Civil Rights Division at the DOJ,
is pointing to as something that they are going to be looking at watch.
In other cases, the Biden DOJ used the Klan Act conspiracy charges
tacked on to the FACE Act in the case of protests outside abortion clinics
to bring much longer sentences.
So there are a number of tools available to us.
The Klan Act is one of the most important federal civil rights,
statutes, and it goes back to the time when President Lincoln emancipated the slaves, and yet the
southern states, Dixiecrats, mainly, were refusing to give them equal rights. In fact, that you had
sheriffs and you had law enforcement harassing the newly freed slaves. So the Klan Act is a law that
makes it illegal to violate their civil rights to get together and conspire to violate the civil
rights. It is often used against law enforcement, but is now used against others as well. So
whenever anyone conspires to violate the protected civil rights of American citizens,
the Klan Act can be used to bring a conspiracy charge.
We in the federal law enforcement parlance call this 241 and 242 civil and criminal conspiracy.
241, 242, remember those, okay?
So this is what he's going to be facing right now.
Now, Keith Ellison, who's the Attorney General, okay?
So he's supposed to be like the top legal guy in the state of Minnesota, who allegedly
may have been getting a little something on the side of nothing else,
political donations from all those people that were involved in that feeding our future thing
and many other scams because they're looking at and they've just subpoenaed Ellison.
We're going to get to that in just a moment.
Oh, so much news.
They're investigating Ilhan too.
Wow.
This is quite a day.
But Ellison can't make up his mind as to whether this is a crime or not to actually
bust into a church.
I mean, you had me at hello.
For goodness sakes, it's private property.
Keith Ellison, go back to law school, buddy.
Do with whether they're going to focus or investigate you.
So I wish in a normal time I would say no.
I say this is First Amendment activity.
And time like this, it's just really difficult to say.
Because the one thing is, the only...
How is it difficult to say?
Okay, go back again.
So normally, normally he thinks this is...
...do with whether they're going to focus or investigate you.
So I wish in a normal time,
I would say no, I'd say this is First Amendment activity.
Oh, okay.
Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Okay.
In a normal time, I'd say it's no.
It's First Amendment activity, but now it's different.
No, no, no, no.
You can't have it that way.
I just showed you.
It violates the First Amendment because it's private property for goodness sakes.
Keith Ellison, a bad lawyer.
And clearly, if those allegations are too a dirty, rotten scumbag.
It's just really difficult to say.
because the one thing is the only one thing is clear.
If Trump likes you, you can do no wrong.
If he doesn't, he's going to use every weapon he can against you,
including our criminal justice system.
No, no, no, no, no, no, buddy.
The reality is you can't storm a church, okay?
Whether you like it or not.
That's the punchline.
Can't happen.
Ilhan Omar, under investigation right now.
The news just breaking hours ago, we have learned that, in fact,
she's in big, big trouble. I want to get first to the president saying he watched the tape of the
protest or storming the church and these people, he said are professionals, no act. Nobody is going to act
that way. They were highly trained to scream, rant, and rave like lunatics in a certain matter,
just like they were doing. They are troublemakers of their own. And then he goes on to talk about
walls and fakes Lee's bag, Ilhan Omar, I'm quoting him, who is supposedly worth over $30 million,
even though she's never had a job other than government job. Last I checked, they're making $1,
74K a year. That must be one heck of an investment you got there, Ilhan, right?
Ilhan Omar's net worth went up nearly $30 million. The question is how? Here's what we know.
Omar's husband, a former political consultant, owns a venture capital firm based in Washington,
D.C., and a winery in California. Take a look at these numbers. In 2023, Omar disclosed a
maximum of $50,000 in assets at the winery. The next year, Dana, that number increased to $5 million.
Meanwhile, her husband's company, Rose Lake Capital, reported a maximum of $1,000 in assets in
2023.
The next year, it was $25 million.
Woo!
That's quite, quite it.
Dare I say scam?
I mean, how do you go to $1,000 to $25 million?
By the way, there's another person that had sued him may still be suing him for fraud at that
winery.
Fraud is quite a theme, is it not?
I mean, again, that makes absolutely no sense.
I don't know. He says he's got some kind of private equity thing. Again, they get a preferential
tax treatment, but not that preferential. I'm sorry, you don't take $174,000 and turn it into $30 million
like she did. And he was kind of a down on his luck businessman who couldn't do anything.
And then he marries her. And the day he marries her, guys, this was amazing. The day they announced
their marriage, what did they do? But they introduced the feeding our future bill that would eventually
defraud American taxpayers of $250 million, not to mention the billions more. The president has called
it 19 billion. We've seen estimates of $9 billion. Whatever it is, it's a heck of a lot of money.
And when we look at the entire country, we're talking about $600 billion that they think has
been stolen from you and from me and from every hardworking American. Well, let's go back
to Ilhan Omar right now under investigation brand new. Despite that, Omar denied being a millionaire
earlier this year, posting on X, quote, I barely have thousands, let alone millions.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer tells Fox News and investigation is underway,
writing, quote, the committee is working on addressing ethics concerns regarding Representative
Omar and her spouse, and we hope to have an update soon. But Omar says she's being targeted.
Ever since I've gotten to Congress, they have been doing these sort of weird ethics investigations,
None of them have yielded anything because I have been as transparent as I can be.
They've been doing a lot of weird ethics investigations.
Oh, I don't know.
Maybe it's because your state is costing American taxpayers at least $9 billion.
Maybe it's because your district, 80% of the fraudsters are from your district, Ilhan Omar.
I mean, I kind of think one in one plus one is two here, right?
One plus one is, in fact, two, even though you try and tell us it's three.
But we're not going to be gaslit.
We know the deal.
I mean, for goodness sakes, it's quite a racket they got out there.
54% of Somali-headed households in the state of Minnesota are getting food stamps.
73% of Somali households have at least one member on Medicaid.
And whopping number, what was it, 81% of them?
are all getting some form of social welfare, some kind.
I mean, again, because you know, you may have a relative,
apparently who's in the business.
Think about this.
She was just last week.
Or maybe it's like 10 days ago.
The days are kind of running in together.
She was just discovered as trying to put another million dollars
towards another Somali restaurant that actually also operated a mental health clinic
right above its kitchen.
I mean, thank goodness.
The Republicans put an end to that.
But this is unbelievable.
feeding our future $250 million just there in her district alone.
Omar authored the Meals Act in 2020, which loosened oversight on food programs during COVID.
Federal prosecutors say one of those programs feeding our future stole $250 million through fake meal sites.
We did reach out to Omar as part of this story, but so far we have not heard back.
No, no, I don't think you will, actually.
She's sweating bullets right about now.
She's trying to point the finger and say, oh, I'm the victim.
I'm the victim. It's just because I'm black and I'm Somali. And that's why, no, honey, you know what?
It's because you may be connected to actual thievery. That's what people are concerned about.
That's why you're being investigated right now because it doesn't make any sense. You go from
175,000 to 30 million. And I don't care if Timmy boy, the boyfriend, new husband, he left his wife
for that. Not a very smart guy unless maybe he is really smart. Maybe he's so smart that he's banking
in every single dime, or maybe he's given it, dare I say, to all those Somali Hualan money carriers
that transported $700 million out of the country in the last two years alone.
Think about that.
That's what they declared.
Gosh, darn it.
How much did they not declare?
They're literally stashing money into suitcases.
It's the number one location in the country, Minneapolis, where $700 million in two years' time
left the country for Dubai.
I mean, we have records of this. So guess what? Treasury Secretary Besson, he's all over it. Ilhan,
you better be running scared right now. Ilhan Omar, finally, getting investigated. Comer running that
investigation, we better see some results. Pammy, I'm looking at you. All right? Here, big news
as well on the Ilhan Omar front because the deportation situation for her could be getting really real.
You have Tom Emmer, who is the congressman, one of her competitors, we could say, from the state of
Minnesota from the normal side of Minnesota saying he's got a new bill he's introducing.
And by the way, it has her name all over it.
This law would just provide that that is a basis to denaturalize, take away your citizenship,
and ship you back.
Oh, gosh.
And he wants to do it for one reason and one reason only.
Guess what that would be?
And part of this is because I've got a representative in Minnesota, Ilhan Omar,
who likes to go on national.
programs and play the victim. Yet the same representative goes to the University of Minnesota
campus and in reality encourages violence against Jewish students. And she says, hey, we're citizens.
There's nothing you can do about it. Well, guess what? There is something that we should be
able to do about it. You should not be allowed to come to this country, take advantage of the
generosity of Americans and the American government, and get away with it. If you commit fraud,
you should be denaturalized and ship back.
Oh, okay, so he's got a message, pure and simple.
And the concern or the feeling on her is that she may have committed some kind of fraud,
somewhere along the way, possibly, when she became a citizen, a lot of questions about her family.
None of this has been independently confirmed by me, but I've seen reports on this,
including in the Daily Mail, that suggest her family may have had connections to the oppressive regime in Somalia,
which may in fact make her, I guess she was 17 at the time, may in fact make her vulnerable to deal.
naturalization or deportation under those circumstances if there were lies involved in how she got
her citizenship. It's also believed that she may, and again, I qualify this because we want to be
fair and we are real news here on the Trish Riegan show, albeit with a touch of opinion, a lot of opinion,
make sure you subscribe. The thinking is by some members of the internet community, and including,
by the way, the president, because I think he said this, and she may have married her brother.
And there are also reports in the Daily Mail, Daily Mail, I love those guys, that
suggest, indeed, members of the community, the Somalia and Minnesota community believe that that
is in fact the case, and they cite all these reasons we've been through it before.
But I would just say that if they're able to prove any of that out, then bump, but do you
know, she could be denaturalized.
She could be deported right back to Somalia.
That actually might have something in it.
I don't know is you're going to be able to denaturalize people, though, that have already
been naturalized.
And so this is what Tom Emmer is trying to do, and it might take some kind of really major
major legislation to get anything like that through.
We have more breaking news at this hour.
More breaking news.
Five subpoenas have been issued related to those protests there in Minnesota.
Let's go to a Fox News report on it moments ago.
Breaking news we have just heard.
The FBI has apparently just served subpoenas to several officials here in Minneapolis,
including members of the office of Governor Tim Walts.
We will bring you more information as we get it on those subpoenas.
Meantime, the number of...
Okay, so Timmy Wals.
you saw his face on the screen. You got Jacob Fry, the mayor that is just, I mean, he looks like
he's 12 for one thing. And I can't get that video out of him in my head, you know, where he's getting
just beaten up by people, the BLM protesters, and they're like, and they're like reading him
the riot act about defund the police. So anyway, he sees this as a political moment, I guess.
Well, he's now getting subpoenaed by the FBI. This is no joke, guys. At this point, no joke.
The FBI's in there investigating Waltz, investigating Ellison, investigating Jacob Fry.
We also have news of the St. Paul Mayor, as well as the Ramsey County attorney for the county itself,
and two attorneys for Hennepin and for Ramsey County. So this is a big, big deal.
The FBI just coming out within the last hour or so in announcing that they were investigating,
they have put forward subpoenas for all five of these leaders. So what I'm hoping for is not only is it going to show us
what's going on in terms of how they're goosing effectively these protests, how they want these
protests to happen because it draws the spotlight to their little city, therefore putting them
on a much more prominent stage and national stage. They want to be ground zero. They want this
to be a conflict. In some ways now, and by the way, I've been like, well, we should just do the
Insurrection Act because it's been done before and you've got a state that's completely insubordinate
and totally trampling all over everybody else's rights, including economic rights, for goodness
I mean, they're stealing our money.
Plain and simple.
The president saying $19 billion has been stolen.
These corrupt politicians, he's pointed out.
He has every right to look at the Insurrection Act.
But maybe the answer is, maybe you don't need to go there.
Maybe you can come forward with these subpoenas and you can prove it all out and you can do this in a more sort of, you know, civil, dare I say, way.
I don't know if they're going to allow for it.
That's why they're trying to gin things up.
That's why they kind of want it.
maybe they're, you know, secretly they want this protest at a church.
And then they're trying to tell you, Ellison, you saw me play this before, that in times like
this, normally it, it would be a violation of free speech.
But in a time like this, he's changing his mind.
Do with whether they're going to focus or investigate you.
So I wish in a normal time, I would say no.
I say this is First Amendment activity.
In a normal time, it's First Amendment activity.
But because Donald Trump's in office, I'm going to tell you,
that things are different? Like what? The First Amendment doesn't apply anymore. In a normal time,
this is First Amendment activity. No, it's not First Amendment activity because we've got property rights as
well. So it's a violation of the First Amendment. You see, they want to have their cake and eat it too.
It's all about Donald Trump, Donald Trump, and they hate Donald Trump so much. That is all they got.
That's all they got. And so they want this Insurrection Act perhaps to come forward. And maybe it's a trap.
I'm just going to throw it out there, guys.
Maybe it's a trap because one of you guys made a really good point in the conversation.
I'm looking at your comments in real time just the other day.
You were like, hey, you know, Eisenhower didn't get reelected after 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas,
where they had to integrate the schools, remember, and then they had to actually send the National Guard in, et cetera.
And you also pointed out that Bush did not get reelected in 1992 after Rodney King.
Now, I think that sort of a different scenario, and I can blame the economy for that one.
No new taxes, and yet there were, right?
So that may be slightly different, but I think it's worth at least pausing here and thinking it through
because we don't want to give them exactly what they want.
We don't want them to be able to sit there and say, oh, well, you know, but I will say this.
You know what?
We've got it for a reason and it's been used before.
Think Lincoln, okay?
But again, 1957 Eisenhower, 1992.
George Bush, Sr., the act permits the president to use the military when state authorities
request help because they cannot control violence or unrest. Now, if you have all this violence and all
this unrest and the state is just not willing to deal with it for whatever reason, including
politics, then you also have another reason to use the Insurrection Act. But if you can go after
them legally and you can prove that they are actually in violation of federal law, maybe that's the
better, I'm just saying for a second, maybe that's the better way to go about it. We've got a lot of
news to get to today a lot because you know what? The media is getting an interpretation of this
that will drive you while. But before we get to that, we want to give a quick shout out to one of
our new sponsors here on the Trish Regan show, which I'm so excited about, like for personal reasons,
too, because I need a website. You guys are like, hey, the alerts are enough, right, on YouTube,
but we actually need a website from you, Tish, where we can sign up and get an email so that we know
exactly when you're going to be on every single day. So that is coming soon. And it's kind of nice
because I'm able to use my own discount.
Squarespace.
Squarespace.com forward slash R-E-G-A-N.
Use my code, Regan.
It helps the show and it helps you.
Or, you know, if you know anybody that wants to start a website,
this is actually good for people that aren't very good at tech
because that would be yours truly.
Although somehow I managed to put a live show on every day.
What do you know?
What do you know?
I'll tell you, it's a new world out there.
We are brought to you in part by Squarespace today,
one of our new sponsors here on the Trish Regan show, but I'll tell you it's really nice,
because it's like all in one. You can do it all together. You can get video on there,
so I'm hoping I can put some of the shows up for you guys. You can have an email service there,
and it's all there for you. It's really pretty, too. And I think that that's one of the best
sort of features about this, because, you know, I'm into pretty. I'm into pretty. The
cutting edge design is really amazing. I've actually been through it because I'm trying to figure out
what my design would be. So you can start with something called Blueprint AI, and it's this enhanced
AI design partner, it chooses from a library of professionally designed and warned
winning website templates. And no matter where you start, the website is flexible for what you
need with intuitive drag and drop editing. Again, if I can do it, anybody can. I'm just going to
say. So I like stuff that's really intuitive. If you're interested in starting your own
site or have a friend who needs one, I highly recommend going over to squarespace.com
forward slash R EGAN to save 10% off your first purchase of a website or domain.
by using, again, Code Regan.
And we thank them for their partnership here on the Trish Regan show and the soon-to-be website.
All right, look at the media.
Like, they're unbelievable.
The view, you know what side they're on.
Do I even have to, do I even have to say that?
You know exactly what side they're on.
They are on the side of anything that is against Trump.
Because that's what it's all about.
I mean, CNN, anything that's against Trump, MSNBC, anything that's against Trump,
the liberal podcast community, anything that's against Trump.
They have one note only, and so who do they bring on?
But this, sorry excuse for New York mayor, the socialist communist, comrade Mam Dami,
who, by the way, wants to take away your home and tax you to death as much as he can,
create a state-owned grocery store.
I mean, you're going to be, you're going to be Venezuela, New York City.
I don't know what to tell you.
You picked him, okay?
He's on the view today.
Ooh, really talking up a storm.
Well, Mr. Mayor, in light of recent events, there have been renewed calls from prominent Democrats to abolish ICE.
I want to know where you come down on abolishing ice and if you believe the ICE has any legitimate law enforcement role.
You know, I am in support of abolishing ICE and I'll tell you why.
Because what we...
Okay, I just have to stop it there. Do you hear the canned applause?
But it's not actually canned. It's a live studio audience, which they clearly pay somebody too much.
money, one, both to manage and get them tickets to go to the show and two, to actually have an
audience person, they're saying, applaud, applaud, applaud. It took them a while. Did you notice the
delay? You know, it's not like everybody was not spontaneous like they actually agreed. No, what happened
was he said, I support abolishing ice and boom, somebody threw up their big sign a little bit late
to say clap. It's really so gross and it points to ABC's bias. And another reason why somebody's
going to look really long and hard. Hey, where's our FCC chair, right? Long and hard at ABC and
Disney, because this falls under the news division and it certainly shouldn't because it's not
news. It is opinion programming all day long with only one side. Again, listen for that
applause. Hang on. Because what we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated
reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to,
to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people
no matter their immigration status, no, no, no, no matter the facts of the law, no matter the
facts of the case. And I'm tired of waiting. I agree. I'm looking at C.J. Hoffman, 2710, New York
did forget about 9-11. It's really pathetic and disgusting that this guy is sitting there as New York
mayor. I just, I'll take anyone. I'd like Giuliani, but I'd even take Bloomberg at this point.
This guy is a sorry, sorry excuse for a communist.
and seeing a new image of someone being dragged out of a car,
dragged out of their home, dragged out of their life.
That's because that's what the media is showing you.
And by the way, Donald Trump is annoyed by it.
Donald Trump got up there today.
Shocked everybody in this press conference.
You guys saw a little bit of it.
I want to go back to it.
He got up there and he started showing everybody.
He had pictures of the criminals that they have arrested.
These criminals that are here illegally that have done really, really horrible things.
I can't actually say it because this is a live show, and so I can't mark everything in the back
to let you know that it's sensitive content. So I'm not actually going to say what they did.
But Donald Trump, he came right out swinging. I mean, and he said who these criminals were
and what they had done one after another. It was shocking for the press, the press who only has
been reporting one thing. What do they report? Oh, and it's tragic. Don't get me wrong. A woman died.
But let's not forget that woman turned on the ice officer and put on the speed on her car.
And I just don't understand how anybody would do that.
Again, I'm just a simple girl from New Hampshire.
But my dad always taught me it's yes or no sir.
When the police pull you over, you don't mess around.
You know why?
They have a gun, okay?
They have a gun.
And so when the police say stop, you stop.
She didn't seem to think that that rule applied to her.
And guess what?
It doesn't matter if you're white or black.
I get it.
a blonde hair, you think, oh, because of all this
defund the police thing, it's all about race. It's not.
Like, they're going to go after you, regardless
of who you are.
So, Mamdami
is on The View,
giving his spiel on a show
that really is just dead and over and should
be pulled from the airwaves,
while the president of the United States
shocks the media in this
press briefing, showing them one
after another the number of people
that they have arrested that have
hurt or killed.
assaulted, everyday Americans, and then, you know, he had a good one for Donnie.
The patriots, and they have to be abused by guys like Don Lemon, who's a, you know, loser,
lightweight. I saw him the way he walked in that church. It was terrible. I have such respect
for that pastor. He was so calm. He was so nice. He was just accosted. What they did in that church
was horrible yesterday. And then again, you see, he's about to show you another one of those people
that did really, really bad stuff. And yet the media doesn't report on that. The media,
only reports that ICE is doing bad stuff. The media who back in 2016 CNN ran a big special
just touting how wonderful it was that ICE was taking its life in its hands, all these officers
going out patrolling as they wanted to get the criminals off the street. Well, what a difference.
What a difference an administration makes, right? It almost makes you nostalgic for those Barack Obama
days when they actually believed in going after illegal criminals. Another quick word from one of our
great sponsors. You know these.
guys, I talk about them all the time because I believe in staying healthy and taking my fruits and
veggies, which is what I get at Balance in Nature. But they have a whole health system that you can
get right now for 50% all, even people that already have it. So go check this out at balance of
nature.com. You get a lot of fruits and vegetables and my fruits and veggies. In fact, you can sprinkle
it on top of your food. You can put it in a drink. And it's one way, at least for me with my busy life
and I have this show and all of you, thank you for all you do to make this a success. We're climbing.
1.2 million now. I can't believe it, nearly 1.2 million subs here on YouTube. And go check out my
Spotify show as well. But listen, we are climbing and climbing in part. Thanks to you guys.
Also in part thanks to these sponsors. And so I've got a busy life. I've got a busy show.
I've got three kiddos. Two teenagers now. Oh boy. My twins. So I've got a lot of my plate.
So I thank Balance of Nature for helping me to get all my vitamins every day. What do I believe in?
eating right, it's not easy, right? So this is where balance in nature can help come in and supplement,
if you would. I mean, I'd be cooking for days if I had to actually make all this stuff myself.
On top of that, I drank a ton of water. You should actually, I have a bunch of it, waterball after
water bottle in my studio. Sometimes you see me gulping it because we don't have commercial breaks,
like, you know, formal commercial breaks like we did in the old days. It's a network TV or when I was on
Fox or CNBC or any of those good places. So, or not so good, depending how you think about it.
I'm just happy to be here. I'm not going to look back. Anyway, check them out. Balance of nature.
Code word Trish, T-R-I-S-H-50% off. This is my favorite of the day. Here, over in Davos,
you know, you get all those stuff of Europeans over at their Davos thing. You get their fancy badges on
and you can get into one party if you get this badge and only into this party if you got that badge
and, oh, you're just barred from all the parties if you have that badge. Funny for the society
that believes in globalism. They get such a class thing going on. It's a
unbelievable. Well, Gavin Newsom is trying to give them a little advice, the Europeans, some advice,
on how to manage one Donald Trump, like he's the expert. But actually, what he says is kind of
funny. This guy is playing folks for fools, and it's embarrassing. European states, this is
diplomacy, and this will ultimately work. Oh, this is diplomacy with Donald Trump? He's a T-Rex.
You mate with him or he devours you. He's a T-Rex. You mate with him or he devours you. I guess,
Gavin, you got the memo. You got the him. You got the Hymour.
So if you really think about this, he's there to warn the Europeans about Donald Trump.
But if you really think about it, if they take his advice to heart, it means, you know,
we better do business with the guy because otherwise he really will devour us.
Let's listen to the entire soundbite.
It's good.
Do you have a message for Europeans who are concerned about messages from the White House around Greenland this week?
Yeah, it's time to buck up.
It's time to get serious and stop being complicit.
It's time to stand tall and firm.
have a backbone.
I've seen this in the United States.
The supine Congress playing both sides.
You know, say one thing on a text or a tweet, another publicly.
It's time to have principles.
It's time to stand tall, tall and strong.
Does that mean responding with talents?
And what's the time to stand united?
You make that determination.
I don't make that determination.
But when you say standing, what do you mean?
Just I can't take this complicity.
People rolling over.
I should have brought a bunch of knee passes.
for all the world leaders.
I mean, handing out crowns and handing out, I mean, this is pathetic.
Nobel Prizes they are being given away.
I mean, it's just pathetic.
And I hope people understand how pathetic they look on the world stage.
I mean, at least from an American perspective, it's embarrassing.
So what should you be doing?
The Europeans should decide for themselves what to do.
But one thing they can't do is what they've been doing and they've been plagued.
This guy's playing folks for fools, and it's embarrassing.
Europeans think this is diplomacy, and this will ultimately work.
Oh, this is diplomacy with Donald Trump?
He's a T-Rex.
You mate with him or he devours you.
One of the other.
Oh, my goodness.
He doesn't need to stand, but no, Europeans could be if they continue to look down this path and process.
They need to stand tall, stand firm, stand united.
Okay, good luck with that.
Donald Trump wants green men.
I don't think, no matter how tall,
firm, they stand, they're going to have much luck on this front. Donald Trump making it clear,
you know what, he is a T-Rex and he does want, indeed, does want Greenland.
We have to have it. They have to have this done. They can't protect it. Denmark,
they're wonderful people. And I know the leaders, they're very good people, but they don't even
go there. And, you know, because the vote went there 500 years ago and then left, that doesn't
give you title to property. You know, NATO's been warning Denmark for about 20 years now, longer
than that, 25 years. They've been warning Denmark about the Russian threat. And it's not only Russia,
it's also China. So we'll see what happens. But let's put it this way. It's going to be a very
interesting Davos. It is. He's heading there now, by the way, and he's making it very clear. I get Greenland
or you guys get taxed.
We're looking at more tariffs.
You just negotiated with us.
It doesn't matter.
We're going to get more tariffs unless we get Greenland.
Here is McCrone.
Freaking out.
Emmanuel Macron, everyone, decked out in sunglasses.
I don't know.
Did Brigitte sock it to him again?
State of America, through trade agreements that undermine our export interests,
demand maximum concessions, and openly.
aim to weaken and subordinate Europe, combined with an endless accumulation of new tariffs that are
fundamentally unacceptable, even more so when they are used as leverage against territorial
society. Very stylish, very stylish. I'm going with, he's got a nice shineer on there.
Brigitte wasn't taking it anymore. Anyway, he did reach out to the president, and the president
shared his special little message. Maybe this was on signal. Take a look here.
from President Macron to President Trump, my friend, we are totally in line on Syria.
We can get great things done on Iran. I do not understand what you're doing on Greenland.
Let us try to build great things. One, can set up a G7 meeting after Davos in Paris on Thursday
afternoon. I can invite the Ukrainians, the Danish, the Syrians and the Russians in the margins.
Two, let us have a dinner together in Paris, together on Thursday before you get back to the U.S. Emmanuel.
Oh, yeah, and so the president just put it out there on true social so we could all read it.
This is how the sausage is made, people.
We're talking transparency.
And Bessent, by the way, Scott Besson, making it clear as well.
We're going to get this thing or else.
If there were an attack on Greenland from Russia, from some other area, we would get dragged in.
So better now, peace through strength, make it part of the United States.
And there will not be a conflict because we are the hottest country in the world.
We are the strongest country in the world.
Europeans project weakness.
The U.S. project strength.
You can say that again, right?
Speaking of strength, check out what the president put on true social.
That's a lovely little picture, right?
Congratulations to J.D. Vance. His wife, Usha, is now pregnant again. 40 years old, pregnant
with, is this the third child? Maybe. Third or fourth. Anyway, congratulations to him.
He's going to get Greenland. The president making it very clear. I'm getting this one way or another.
And in all seriousness, guys, it's actually really important. I know that we kind of joke about it
and that kind of thing, but it actually is really important. He wants it and he wants it
for a very, very specific reason, there's some real national security concerns.
Let me go to a little brief explainer.
Greenland isn't about land. It's about control of the Arctic and space.
When Donald Trump revived his push for Greenland, Europe mocked it. They missed the strategy.
Greenland sits on the shortest missile route between Russia and North America.
That's why the U.S. runs early warning missile.
radar there, Arctic ice is melting. By 2035, shipping between Europe and Asia could be 40%
faster. Russia already dominates the northern sea route, backed by the world's largest icebreaker
fleet, including nuclear-powered ships. Since 2014, Russia has built or reopened 50-plus Arctic military
sites. Its nuclear submarines hide beneath Arctic ice, strengthening second strike capability.
China calls itself a near-arctic power. It links the region to its polar silk road,
but the decisive battlefield is space. Early warning and surveillance satellites use polar orbits.
Control the Arctic means control of missile detection and targeting.
In other words, we need it. We want. We want. We
want it and we're going to get it. Besson asked today by a reporter at Davos, is there any reason to
think that the European Union could actually be much of a threat to us and our economy in the event
that they don't go along with this and we foresee more tariffs coming, to which he said, no, how is it?
Didn't even like elaborate. Just no, it's not a threat. By the way, our economy is booming.
booming. How do you like this? They're talking about 5.4% economic growth in the fourth quarter.
That's the Atlanta Fed's release. The president in his surprise briefing with reporters had a few good
things to say about the economy too. We're coming up on what one year? It's amazing. What a year
it's been? Look. We ended Biden's stagflation. We were in stagflation. That's a disaster.
That's far worse than inflation. Fourth quarter GDP is on track to pass perhaps much more
than 5% growth. And that's despite the fact that we had a Democrat shutdown.
It is. I mean, think about that. We had the shutdown and everything. And they say, oh, it's going to kill our economy. Guess what? 5.4%. I'll take it. Thank you very much. On top of that, we did a report the other day and a tweet as well. You guys got to get this. If you're not at 76 Research.com, this is my company. I own it along with a cone or my dear friend Rob, who's really, really smart and has been a stock picker for a zillion years. And he's just so entrenched in the micro and we've had lots of good picks. Go check out our
portfolios if you can. It's a little bit more money or just get for a dollar. It's my gift to you guys.
New year, new investing start, a dollar a month for the first two month. It goes to $9.95
after. But 76 Research.com and get this 76 report. We chose 76. Get it 1776 coming up on the
250 year for a reason. But there's a lot of good stuff to cheer right now and a lot of good
stocks to be investing in. Even in a day like today, I know the market's down. Actually,
I went in and I bought more because that's what I do, you know, when everybody else is running for the hills.
I encourage you, 76research.com.
The other thing I wanted to tell you about is what the president's been doing on health care being pretty meaningful,
both for our economy and for, uh, midterms, yeah, because people care about their health care prices.
He talked about this the other day.
It's going to be a tremendous, it is a tremendous plan.
It's called the Great Healthcare Plan, and we're going to get tremendous reductions, as you know,
through if you look at medicines and prescription drugs, they're going to come down by numbers
that have never been seen before. And we're doing that by most favored nations. Other nations,
whoever pays the lowest in the world, that's what we're going to pay. Right now, we're paying
sometimes 10 times higher than other nations. So we have favored nations. That's been approved.
Other nations have, for the most part, agreed to it. And they had no choice. Otherwise, we were going
to put tariffs on them.
Oh my God, he loves tariffs, okay? He loves tariffs. It's like, okay, we want Greenland. If you don't go along
with this, we're going to tariff you. We want lower drug prices. If you don't go along with this,
we're going to tariff you. It's actually, it's smart. I mean, why has nobody else ever done this?
I always wondered this. I've always wondered this. I remember once, and forgive me if I've told
to this story before. Somebody told me that loves Joe Rogan. They said I listen to him every day,
three hours a day. The only problem with that is sometimes you get to hear the same stories over and
over and over again. If Joe can do it, I guess I can too. So for those of you that know this story,
forgive me. But I remember being on set anchoring that actually Martha McCollum's old show.
I was in as a substitute. It must have been, you know, the Fourth of July or something,
and everybody was on vacation. So I went over the mothership and was on there. And I had John Bolton
on. I can't remember what we were talking about. It might have had something to do it.
China. And I said to him, like, why wouldn't you just sanctioned? Because, you know, if you can put
sanctions in place, tariffs in place, actually not even sanctions. I mean, use the tariffs. Those are
even more acute and nimble than sanctions would be. But why not go forward with something like
that? And his response to me was, well, how do you think your friend Jamie Diamond? It Chase would like
that. And I'm like, I don't care what JP Morgan Chase says about this or what Jamie Diamond
says, I mean, he's not the president of the United States, right? And I think that the president
knows that he has leverage and power and is willing to use it in ways that we just haven't
seen politicians ever used before. So in terms of healthcare, he's willing to do this.
In terms of big pharma, he's willing to do this. Big pharma clearly has very, very high prices.
It's really, really upsetting, annoying. I can tell you that our friends over at conservatives for
lower health care, one of the sponsors, by the way, of the Trish Regan show, they are working day and
to try and solve this issue and to find a conservative market-oriented plan, right,
to deal with these high, high costs because you get, at the same time, it's something that
you're up against is a big deal, and that's big farming.
With their army of lobbyists working over time to block real solutions, to push heavy-handed
government solutions as opposed to allowing private markets to do it.
So the president wants private markets and individuals to have a say.
That is probably the best way to bring down very, very high drug prices.
I'm trying to see. I had a poll I wanted to show you. I don't think I do, forgive me,
but there's a great poll that John McLaughlin, the president's pollster, did, and I've showed it to you
before 85% of voters are concerned that farmer-backed government intervention would increase the cost
of their pharmaceuticals and their overall health care costs. This is a big deal. So these are
all voters, right, Democrats and Republicans together. 85% of them are concerned about this. So it's
kind of a no-brainer. And you're going to box the Democrats into a corner on this.
one. 80% believe Big Pharma is behind these protocols, huh? They're right. And 50% are more likely
to support candidates who protect employer choice and stand up for big farmers. So there's a political
reason to do this. You can go and check this out. I think they have the poll up there. I just put,
again, we appreciate their partnership there and their sponsorship, Conservatives for Lower
Healthcare, but they have a URL. I put it on the screen called pharmawindfall.com. Go check it out
because you can get more information. And if you're interested, you can join this fight to try and
bring down these prices. It's an important thing to do right about. Now, don't you think? I think,
anyway, it's good to see so many of you here. We have quite a bit going on today. If you haven't
subscribed, make sure you do me the favor of subscribing to this great show. It is, as I said,
wonderful to have so many patriots tuning in live every single day. So we want to keep that coming
and we want to keep this momentum. I'll tell you, a lot of people are out there saying there's no way
that Donald Trump can win, not him specifically, but the party overall, the GOP,
can win at midterms. And I want to remind you, the day is young, the year is young. We still have a
year to go. I mean, you really aren't going to be looking, well, not a year, forgive me. But you're
not going to be looking at these polls as closely until probably September. And that's when
things really start to come into crystal clear focus. So I realize, you know, the thinking right
now, you know, the GOP can't win. That was the thinking, mind you, when it was going to be Biden
versus Trump. I mean, you look at, for example, any of those betting sites, and they'd show you
right then and there, there was no way that Donald Trump had a path to winning. And sure enough,
not only did he win the electoral college, he won the popular vote as well. So it was an amazing
thing to see. We were all here together on election night. Just amazing. And I think,
you're going to see a lot of success in midterms as well. So I would say discount some of those
polls. I realize CNN is touting it's, it ain't over yet. I mean, there's some things that should be
done, but there's a lot happening, good stuff, inflation coming down. Dana-da. Criminals being arrested,
being deported, fraud being discovered and stamped out. And maybe Greenland. I'd consider that a win,
right? America First, baby. It's good to have so many of you here. Yeah, I'm
I see you, Rob Logic, 3660, hold Lemon accountable.
I think it's going to happen.
