Starting point is 00:00:01 Welcome to the show, everyone. I am Trish Regan and oh my goodness, do we have a lot going on. Poor Kathy Hokel. Oh my goodness. I mean, Leticia James had a bed and now you look at Kathy, for goodness sakes, these new poll numbers, they are a train wreck for the governor of New York. It looks like nobody really wants her. What do you know? How does that not surprise me? How does that not surprise me? You know, we actually showed you some poll numbers a few months back, which were extremely weak, both for Kathy and for Letitia baby. So they're both in trouble right now. Letitia, I expect, is the next one to fall in all of this. All is, by the way, we get some interesting data out that suggests that, what do you know?
Starting point is 00:00:38 Commer Mam Dami may not be able to pull it off. Meanwhile, 160 members of MAGA. Are you kidding me? That's what we're talking about here in terms of people that actually may not or may have been spied upon. Pretty amazing stuff when I say, you know, we got some people that are going to be going to prison. And Donald Trump is talking about might. it be one Jack Smith. Meanwhile, it's all coming as CNN admits.
Starting point is 00:01:06 CNN admits, just as Bill Gates admits. I guess, like, he's the kingfin here. If Bill Gates says it, then you can say it. CNN admits, you know, people aren't really into the whole climate change thing. Like, it's really just not resonating. New Gallup pullout. Proves it. I'll tell you.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Guys, you know, the Democrats were hanging their hand on this one. They should have just, like, gone out and talked to Americans. They would have figured out. They were barking up the wrong tree. Good to have you here. Welcome to the program. As I said, I'm Trish Regan, and we love that you're here. Make sure if you haven't subscribed that you do, it's really, really important. We're killing it here on the Trish Rigan channel. I'm so proud of this because we just started maybe about a year and a half ago or so. We're already up to 1.1 million subs. It's really incredible. And we're
Starting point is 00:01:48 on the top 100. Almost every week. What do you know? Kathy Hokel, ladies and gentlemen, it looks like she is going to be out there as the governor of New York. A new poll shows that it doesn't look very good. And you got a Trump person coming in stealing her thunder, at least Stefanic. A bright woman. Very, very bright woman, much brighter than Kathy Holkle, but you know, that's not saying much. Kathy Holkel, proving she's not so bright, when she went to the Mamdami rally just last night in New York and they're shouting out, tax the rich, tax the rich, and she's all on board until she figures out, oh my gosh, they were saying something that I don't really want to maybe be standing for.
Starting point is 00:02:30 In light of the way the rest of the state of New York feels, watch. Oh my gosh. Like, did they not hear themselves? We need a fighter who's going to wake up every day, ready to punch, and that guy is Mam Dami. He doesn't look like much of a fighter. I mean, just saying, I mean, I don't know, maybe a brief stint on a wrestling team somewhere.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Was it a Bowdoin college that he went to up in Maine? Lucky Bowdoin? I am telling you, this is going to be a disaster. This guy wins. Hopefully he doesn't. In the meantime, Kathy Holkle, she's like backtracking now today because somehow she didn't realize what they were saying. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Kathy, because she lives in her own little small brain is thinking they're talking about the bills. In New York City, they're talking about the bills. Yeah, Kathy, like that makes sense. Watch. Ah, do we have it? Do we have it? Do we have it?
Starting point is 00:04:06 Let's try again. I thought there was... Oh, maybe not. Anyway, she says, I thought they were talking about the bills. I thought that was it. They were just talking about the bills. You know, they were fired up for the bills. No, no, Kathy, I know you like the bills.
Starting point is 00:04:22 You know what? My husband likes the bills too. He's from Buffalo. You know, you have to like the bills if you're from Buffalo. He also says it builds character. Yeah, yeah, it does. Okay, Kathy, we know that you like the bills, but you were in New York City at a Mamdami rally.
Starting point is 00:04:36 They're shouting tax the rich. They're mad at you because you're not taxing enough because you say you're not going to go along with all this. Well, I'll tell you, you are damned if you do. you and you're damned if you don't because I'm looking at the polls and they're not so hot. Now, are they? Here, take a look at this, you guys. Shock poll.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Trump loyalist, Elise Stefanik, best Kathy Hockel in New York governor's race. Yeah, that's what's going on. I'm telling you, the whole world is going MAGA because the whole world is actually coming back to its senses. And Kathy, you're just going to have to deal with it. Okay? So right now we're looking at Elise DeFonik, the former congresswoman from the state of New York, probably winning the governor's seat.
Starting point is 00:05:16 She shocked Kathy just a short time ago when she announced that she was going to be running for a governor. Now she's shocking her even more because this is an earthquake, okay? You're suddenly going to be looking at a very, they're calling it a purple state here at the Manhattan Institute. These are the guys that did the poll. And they're saying there's this stifonic lead that's happening statewide. While the Democrats may take New York City when you look at everything else that's happening
Starting point is 00:05:41 And this gels with everything I've told you about Letitia James, who we're going to get to in a minute. But this is the reality, folks. Latisha James is struggling and suffering in her poll data that we saw as recently as last spring, which was actually quite a while ago, if you think of everything that's happened, including the indictment since then. And now you got this one, Stefanik, who's going to take over for one Kathy Hokel. But you get it, right? Because people aren't happy. They're looking at the crime situation, and they're not happy. And they're looking at what MAGA has to offer, and it's a heck of a lot more. So here we go, according to Manhattan Institute, Democrat governor, Kathy Holkell, is losing to Republican and Lee Stefanic, at least right now,
Starting point is 00:06:22 by one point. I'm guessing that's going to go up, up and away among registered voters and points to a six-point advantage over her lieutenant governor and primary challenger that would be Anthony Delgado. While more than a year remains, they point out until Election Day in New York, It is pretty amazing, right, that we're looking at the possibility of a Democrat losing to a Republican. New York going red, baby. I love it. Here's some of the data. And you can check it out at Manhattan Institute if you want to find out exactly who they were polling.
Starting point is 00:06:50 But they looked at a pretty broad section and tried to allocate for ages, et cetera. Here were the results. Look at this bar chart. Elise is in red. And she's a point ahead at Kathy Hockel in blue. And I know you're like, okay, it's only a point. But this is big, this is big, because, because, I'll tell you why it's big, because, you know, New York is such a blue, blue, blue state.
Starting point is 00:07:16 The idea of a Republican winning there, it's like, it's like an earthquake. And when I look at some of the boroughs and what's happened in the boroughs, it's also an earthquake because you saw, for example, in places like Queens, Donald Trump picked up a lot of votes that he normally wouldn't have picked up. And they don't know what to make of that, you guys. I mean, this is unprecedented territory. The idea that you could have now a Democrat losing to a Republican and a Trump Republican at that. But I'll tell you, you go outside in New York City and you see Trump signs everywhere. As I mentioned, my husband's from Buffalo. And we'll go up to Lawport, actually, at New York. And we're just like, wow. I mean, the Trump signs are everywhere.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And I think that, you know, it's important to kind of get out of that New York City bubble, that Manhattan media bubble, if you would. And you start to look and say, okay, this is the real world. And this is how people feel in the real world. And they really like Donald Trump and what he's doing in the real world. So when Letitia James goes around and says, hey, I want to see police records. And I want to see if you're cooperating with ICE. And if you're cooperating with ICE, then you're in violation of state law. that doesn't sit well with a lot of people in the state of New York, okay?
Starting point is 00:08:35 Because in the state of New York, a lot of people want law in order. And they even want it in New York City, too, believe it or not, which is why I actually think Mamdami might be more under threat than you think. In fact, we've got some new poll numbers that have suggested that from none other than Polymarket, Polymarket being that trading platform where you can kind of look at this stuff in real time and get a feel for what's what because, you know, money talks, as they say. and Mamdami, if he doesn't pull off New York, then, wow, you really are seeing the sea change grunt. It's still going to go to another Democrat, Cuomo, and a Democrat that not many of us have much admiration for, shall we say.
Starting point is 00:09:14 But still, important to think about this, the context in which this is all happening, because I think it spells trouble for Letitia James as well. Mamdami running as a communist for the mayor of New York, the financial capital of the world. And the shocking thing here is he even got the first base. I mean, he's got a few problems going on. For example, take a look at this. Mamdami faces criminal referrals over alleged foreign donations to his New York City mayoral campaign. So this is coming up and it's kind of a big deal because he's being accused, if you would,
Starting point is 00:09:52 of taking foreign donations. Now, some would say, oh, you know, one of them was just from his mom, no big deal, and he returned it. By the way, I think he only became a U.S. citizen, interestingly enough, some seven years ago or so. So, you know, for somebody who's recently here, he's really off to the races in terms of trying to take over the political sphere. Anyway, this first being reported by Fox News, also being picked up by the New York Post. And as I said, Mamdami is looking at possibly a serious serious. serious, serious problem. He's been referred, I believe, to the DOJ amid concerns about this, because if, in fact, he's found guilty of having taken foreign contributions that would put him
Starting point is 00:10:36 in violation of election laws, and that would be really bad news for the prospective mayoral candidate. You know, he's been leading the polls, interestingly, all along, but now the question is, can he make it through to election day? I just want to share this with you because I think it's interesting to see Mandami's odds collapsing in New York City mayoral election. This is coming to us from Polymarket. Our friends at Polymarket have actually been pretty spot on. And it's not them.
Starting point is 00:11:05 It's actually just everyday people that are betting on this, albeit not Americans because Americans can't bet on this, but you go around the world and everybody's like placing bets on what's going to happen. And we saw, what do we see in Polymarket ahead of the election? I kept saying he's going to win, he's going to win, he's going to win. Donald Trump was climbing like nobody's business as Kamala Harris started to create her in the polymarket numbers. And so while you may not have like real polls to be relying on in this environment, I think
Starting point is 00:11:33 it's important to consider that. It's all happening, guys, as we look at Letitia James increasingly under fire, I don't know how she makes it through this election. I mean that. I really, I really don't. She doesn't quite have the charm and appeal, shall we say, of one AOC, if you want to call it. that. In a time such as this, we are not the crazy ones, New York City. Landish ones, New York City. You want us to think we are crazy. We are sane. You keep telling yourself that. Okay, you keep
Starting point is 00:12:14 telling yourself that. You and Comraim and Dami and some of your other little friends in the club. You keep telling yourself. You're the same ones. I actually think you're totally crazy, totally off your rocker. By the way, frankly, dare I say, a bit stupid. Stupid. stupid, stupido, okay? Stupido. A-O-C. She's quite dumb, despite apparently studying economics at BU. Boston University must have a very special brand of economics there called communism.
Starting point is 00:12:45 Okay, so they like communism and socialism and they think they can take from you and give to him and him and him and her and her. Oh, why not just open up the entire world? So everybody can come here and we can give them more free hotel rooms, more free hotel rooms at the Roosevelt Hotel, which was once four or five stars, and we can continue to provide maid service there at the Roosevelt Hotel, and we can give them those $300 and something change vouchers in those forms of those little credit cards along with cell phones, et cetera,
Starting point is 00:13:12 just vote for AOC and Mamdami, right? I'm telling you, it's never worked anywhere. You take your pick. You go all around the world. You tell me one place where communism works or socialism, the brand of which they want works, it doesn't. Okay? So when I say, stupida, I guess I need to say, stupida,
Starting point is 00:13:33 okay? I speak Spanish better than her, frankly, AOC, Alexandria, Ocasia Cortez, who doesn't speak Spanish, give me a break. And then you get this Mamdami guy who's out there saying, oh, my aunt, she couldn't ride the subway after 9-11 because she was so worried about her hijab, he says in a very fancy accent. and turns out his aunt
Starting point is 00:13:57 didn't even live in New York City at that particular time so there are a bunch of liars and they're just trying to get elected and I don't think they have the best interest of you or the country or anyone at heart I mean that so what does it mean for Letitia look I would just say Latisha's in a whole bunch of trouble right now whether or not she gets elected again
Starting point is 00:14:19 you know what that should be the least of her worries because if I'm Letitia I'm working We're spending 60 years in the slammer. I mean, we're talking two homes there that are a problem in Virginia, in Norfolk. I'm talking about, oh, that mortgage that she got with Daddy where she said he was her husband. Back in 1983, who, I'm seeing a pattern. I'm seeing a pattern, right? Just look at the nieces.
Starting point is 00:14:45 You really got a pattern. I know, I know. You can't pick your family, but still. So Letitia's got her issues, and then you get the brownstone in Brooklyn. right, don't forget about that one where she's lying about how many units she's got. I think if I were Letitia, I wouldn't really be that concerned about my election chances. They're bad, though. Headline is they were bad before, and they're even worse now.
Starting point is 00:15:09 So she was already underwater performing quite poorly, less than Kathy Hochel. Imagine that, who's now going to get beaten by Elise Tophonic. So she's in a whole lot of trouble. But, you know, she's just doubling down on nonsense, doubling down on what you would expect that somehow this is her as the victim. I mean, it's kind of priceless. It's like these people have no appreciation for irony whatsoever. This justice system, which has been used as a tool of revenge.
Starting point is 00:15:58 Yes, you said that already. And a weapon against those individuals who simply did their job and who stood up for the rule of law. Oh, Tishy. I'm sorry. You really do have bigger problems than your election. But, you know, you're facing serious criminal charges, but you think it's because you're the victim. Venomous?
Starting point is 00:16:29 We will fight back to your attempt to bring Trumpism to New York City. He's called me disgraceful. A respect that they start. He's called me radical. Listen. Yes. We know he's crazy. He's called me a racist.
Starting point is 00:17:09 We've got to stand. up to an administration, which is two male, two pale, and too stale. In other words, for her to sit there and try and tell you, or me, or anyone else, that she's suddenly the victim after what she did, after all she did? Are you kidding me? I mean, this is a woman that tried to bankrupt somebody because he might run for president again. I mean, think of how outrageous that is, how bad that is. I'm telling you, though, she's coming unhinged.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Here she is at a Mamdami rally, and you could feel it, right? Like, let's go back to this clip because this happened just after she got the news that she was indeed being indicted, and probably it was all going to come out about the nieces and their dubious historic pass, including the fact that one was evading her parole officer. She's supposed to be in North Carolina, but there she is at Auntie Tishie's house in Virginia. I mean, unbelievable. She knew this was going to come out. And you can kind of hear it in her voice, how scared she is. She ought to be scared. Scared, you know what, less. Oh, we might not be able to, can we see her, can we see her, can we see her? Can we see her? See, I know what it feels like to be attacked for just doing your job.
Starting point is 00:18:37 Really? Really? But I also know what it feels like to overcome adversity. Hmm And so I stand on solid rock Hmm Better be solid And I will not better Hmm
Starting point is 00:19:21 You see I've learned to stand on the shoulders of my ancestors who've been before who came before me and who weathered the storm I see And despite being seared with scars They survived Okay so we're going back to racism now
Starting point is 00:19:43 survive, so will we. Because it's somehow racism that you're under attack? So in the last few days, I've summoned their strength and their courage. And I will keep fighting for justice. I will keep fighting for New Yorkers. I will keep fighting the aggressive
Starting point is 00:20:03 policies of Washington, D.C. You know what? I'm worried for her. Really. I mean, I think she actually is going to be in massive trouble. So she's also, if you look at the lower throat on the screen, Tom Homan has referred her to the DOJ. This is like one more thing for Letitia, right? Because she's trying to impede law enforcement. She does not want any cooperation with New York law enforcement with ICE. And this is now increasingly becoming an issue. It's why you have the National Guard
Starting point is 00:20:37 going into Chicago or going into Portland or going in soon to San Francisco and everybody's freaking out about it. But there they are in Memphis and the people are. Memphis, like, woo, thank you, finally. Like, we feel a little bit safer. They're going to be coming into New York as well. And if she continues to impede them, then she is going to have another issue that she is facing with none other than the Department of Justice. I mean, this is a woman who made it her political career to go after Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:21:07 And she went after him, accusing him of inflating the value of Mar-a-Lago so as he could get a better priced mortgage and that he worked out some kind of deal with his bankers over at Deutsche Bank. I remember the speculation about Deutsche Bank way back in 2016, right? Deutsche Bank, the German Bank, was somehow under fire from Democrats because, oh, he was the lender to Donald Trump. And then there were questions, well, they're really Russians involved in this, that, and the other, I mean, it all turned out to be nothing. But they were chasing this, like a wild goose chased, all while, by the way, they had their own suspicious pass. Here's the next. Here's the 1983 document, Letitia James and her father Robert.
Starting point is 00:21:50 There she is. She's listed. Check it out, guys, as his wife. Like, I mean, maybe you get a statute of limitations on that. I don't know, but that's a little, I mean, you want to talk about lying on the mortgage application, Leticia. I got it for you right there. Okay?
Starting point is 00:22:08 That's a lie. You were his daughter, not his wife. I mean, I haven't heard her try and explain that one away. On the first house in Richmond, it was, oh, because, remember, because that was her power of attorney and the power of attorney screwed up, and then on the second house in Richmond, that was because, oh, we don't know. You see, she really doesn't have an excuse on this one other than to say, it's baseless. Well, on the second house, you might have a little bit of a poem because, you see, you signed a mortgage that said, here, I've got a copy here, this is the second home writer on the
Starting point is 00:22:41 second home in Virginia. So the allegation is that she was treating this as an income property, yet signed up for it as a second home rider. So as a second home, the mortgage rate is lower, maybe 8 tenths of a percent lower than it would be on a property that's going to be a rental income. Why? Because we've talked about this before. If you're in financial trouble, what do you pay off first, your own house that you're living in. What do you pay off second? Your vacation house that you might sometimes live in. And what do you pay off last? Your income property. That's the one you're going to get rid of first. That's how the bank like manages these.
Starting point is 00:23:14 So there's a hierarchy. So here you are, Letitia, allegedly lying on this second home rider application, which means you could get up to 60 years, okay? Up to 60 years in the slam for this stuff. So yeah, I wouldn't really be worried about the election. I realize she probably is, but she's got lots of problems to be considering right now. I mean a whole lot of problems. My gosh, just one thing after another.
Starting point is 00:23:38 It's kind of remarkable. I keep saying this, but you can't make it up. You just can't make it up. You know what else you can't make up? All this mapping of the MAGA movement. Donald Trump has no use for this. In fact, he is out with a new truth social post writing today. These thugs should all be investigated and put in prison.
Starting point is 00:24:08 It has come out, you see, that 160 members of the MAGA community were being spied upon by Jack Smith and his cronies. That is what the FBI is reporting. They have dug it up through their investigation, Arctic Frost, as it is known, Bongino Cash, they're all over this. And you see a story there, the headline from just the news, more than 160 Republicans potentially investigated in FBI's Arctic Frost probe, according to New House. documents that apparently the FBI has released. So the president's like, okay, prison time. A disgrace to humanity, he writes, deranged Jack Smith is a criminal. So there, he's over in South Korea, having a party. They're giving him a crown and everything, which is kind of funny and ironic, right, given the new King's protests. I think he likes the crown. It's beautiful. Gold and everything. Anyway, a lovely gift. It's not actually his. It will go to, you know, the museum or whatever at the White House or the library, but he's getting a crown. And he's over there.
Starting point is 00:25:15 And he manages to send out this, which just sends everyone right into a tizzy. These thugs should be investigated and put in prison. A disgrace to humanity, you know, who would agree with that? Besides one myself, Jason Chaffetz, a former colleague of mine over at Fox. And also he's the former congressman from Utah. Let's go to him. But then you've got to remember We're having a little stickiness today.
Starting point is 00:25:44 But then you've got to remember that it was the Obama administration that had allegations of spying on, oh, I don't know, the media, the Associated Press, James Rosen, others there. Remember what happened in the Senate under them? Then you have Biden come along. Now you've got, and then you've got what Jack Smith is doing here in his allegations.
Starting point is 00:26:05 And the way he went after Donald Trump with bringing cameras in, in tow guns of blazing into Marlago to go through Melania, Trump's unmentionables. Like, come seriously, this is so out of control. There needs to be accountability. Yeah. There needs to be accountability. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:26:26 And you know what Jason brings up that's super important? Who it started with? Okay, because that was Obama. Barack Obama went after my friend James Rosen, who at the time was a Fox News correspondent. And he also was. and after Cheryl Atkinson, who's another former colleague of mine, gosh, you know, I've been around, right, who was at CBS News. Cheryl Ackinson was furious because she was accusing them of breaking into her computer.
Starting point is 00:26:54 So this was all coming out, all right? So Obama had his thing, and he did not like journalists who were not carrying the water for him. He had that guy, Ben Rhodes, remember? And Ben Rhodes talked a lot about the sort of machine where, you know, things would ricocheted off of one another and you could just keep having this, you know, game of telephone where you call somebody and you say, I'm hearing this. And then that person would say, well, I'm hearing this. And then you put it out there to somebody else. I'm hearing this. And before you know, that's the narrative. That's how, you know, they play dirty in D.C. And if you didn't
Starting point is 00:27:28 play that game like Cheryl or, you know, or at that time he was a Fox reporter, if you didn't play that game like Rosen or Ackinson, then you were part of the play. problem and then they started spying on you. And then you had Lois, right? You know, over at the IRS, who wanted to target any group that was associated with the team movement. Think of what we went through, okay? I remember all this. I remember it all vividly. And then you fast forward to, gosh, darn it, Donald Trump went in the thing over Hillary. How could that be? I mean, she was supposed to break the glass ceiling and all that, right? You know, they spent a lot of money on that glass ceiling in New York City. It was going to be a big party. How could this,
Starting point is 00:28:09 be. I could have told you. I mean, again, get outside of your bubble, people, like, go out into the rest of the country and see how the rest of America feels. It was pretty obvious to me. I kept saying, don't count them out, don't count them out. There's a real good chance. He could win this whole thing. I was right, okay? So they couldn't believe it. And then you look forward to what Tulsi's shown us. If you fast forward to December of 2016, what were they doing? They were meeting in Obama's office. And they were making a decision to, twist the narrative. They knew that Russia had no effect on anything, but they didn't want to say that anymore. So the narrative was twisted and manipulated so that they could then have Jimmy Carter
Starting point is 00:28:50 come out and say, well, I don't consider him a legitimate president because the Russians interfered with our election. I mean, is that not whacked out or what? I mean, the dossier, which was opposition research, the way James Comey called his... buddy, the Columbia Law Professor, who was also a paid person for the FBI, gun for hire at the FBI, that Comey then used to get his side of the story because he wanted a special investigation and he wanted a special prosecutor to get that side of the story out into the media. It's wild and it's wrong. We've been through this analogy before what happens at the end of the Little League game.
Starting point is 00:29:37 You know, they all shake hands and everything's fine, right? because one team loses, one team wins, and the losers need to make do. You don't try and derail the winners as they go all the way to the state championships, right? Just because your team didn't win. But that's not the game that Barack Obama played. No, he was in a totally different mode. And so he's out there doing what? You know, if you listen to this guy and he's a smart reporter, John Solomon,
Starting point is 00:30:06 they were literally creating an enemies list. it's now been revealed from the FBI. They had 160 people on this thing. So eight sitting U.S. senators, eight congressperson. And apparently, you rounded out with another 160 members of the MAGA community, hope I'm not on there, that were targeted. They were mapping the MAGA movement with every piece of data they could. It was basically creating an enemies list.
Starting point is 00:30:35 An enemies list. How do you like that? And this is the guy that started it all. Okay, T-Bolt. This is the guy that everybody's wondering more about. He has since resigned from the FBI, in part because Republicans were like, buddy, I mean, what the heck were you doing? You were supposed to be investigating the 100-bund laptop. And that was like completely getting suppressed, so suppressed, right?
Starting point is 00:30:57 You know, oh, we had 51x spooks trying to tell you that there was nothing to see here. Yeah, right. Okay, so this guy, Timothy Teeboldt, is now really being questioned, I would say, and needs to be questioned, and probably brought in for questioning before various committees because he was the one who was running this campaign. And what we learned was he had somehow decided, and this could be worse, very seriously. This may be the biggest political scandal in history,
Starting point is 00:31:24 worse than Watergate, anything you can imagine. Nobody in the mainstream media is covering this. But Timothy Tebowl was according to Chuck Grassley and the metadata that's been gathered off of the documents that he was using, he was doing what they call something called self-approval. So he was going through and like initiating these investigations and you need to have various warrants, et cetera. We don't know if he had that or not, but like what's really weird is that the FBI has something called a no self-approval rule, which they call code 3523. And because there's no self-approval, it means that if you were the one that initiates this, somebody else has to sign off on it.
Starting point is 00:32:04 But in this case, Timothy Tealbult, he was doing all the signing off. He was doing all the initiation and all the signing off on. And so there was no sort of checks and balances going on, which is why perhaps this led to eight sitting U.S. Republican senators, one congressperson, Republican, of course, and another 160 members of MAGA allegedly being spied upon. Now they want us to be really careful with how we use the word spied upon because we can't say they were tapping the phones.
Starting point is 00:32:33 No, no, not allowed. Can't say wiretapping. They were, oh, how did they describe it? They were tolling the phones. Oh, yes, that's the word they used, tolling the phones. So the distinction is they were basically gathering all the metadata, right? I mean, I think Snowden talked about this ages ago. They were getting all the metadata they could.
Starting point is 00:32:53 They basically were like, okay, you were talking to this person, and how long were you talking to them for, and where was your location, and where was that person's location? And so as a result, they have something like, I don't know, 30 million phone records. Outrageous, crazy. Like, this should not be happening. Again, the no self-approval rule would have prevented it under any other normal situation. But I'm guessing Obama didn't play by the rules. And it doesn't seem like Joe Biden really played by the rules either.
Starting point is 00:33:25 I mean, I don't even know if he knew what the rules were, whether anybody was doing anything. I mean, that would be a great defense for him, right? because he's obviously clueless on a number of things. You know, the thing is that you can't actually do what they were doing without getting the appropriate warrants. So there's the Wiretap Act, there's the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, there's state privacy, eavesdropping laws, like you can't actually do this.
Starting point is 00:33:53 So they were going after 160 members. I'm assuming some private citizens. I do believe Steve Bannon is in that group. If you go to the Bs, you see a big Steve Banner. in. So he was a target of theirs. They were going after anyone that had contact with the Trump White House. And that's really disturbing and really scary. But that is apparently the world in which we live. And I also would just say, what were they doing with the data? Apparently, they were gathering this data like way after the fact, way after it was allegedly, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:24 some kind of investigation into January 6th. And then when the January 6th committee was dissolved, they kept on gathering the data. Now, why would they? keep gathering the data. Apparently, they wanted to then hand that over to the FBI to have like a whole new round of going after Republicans when Donald Trump decided he was going to run for office again. I guess they really didn't want him finding any of this out, did they? Plot gets stopped by the American people in December 2020 because Americans choose Republicans, Republicans come in, the Democrats get thrown out of the house. A year later, when Adam Kinsinger is no longer a member of the committee,
Starting point is 00:35:05 He's no longer a member of the House. He no longer has protection of the speech and debate clause. He's calling up the FBI and trying to give them these records, which, by the way, the FBI would never have been able to get this large swath of records. It's just too broad a request, right? It wouldn't be a legitimate investigative need for that many records. He's trying to say, hey, I don't know, but let's just get them to you, guys. He's making that call in December of 2023.
Starting point is 00:35:29 Four years after most of the cases have already been brought in January 6th, why is he doing that? He's not doing it for some legislative purpose. He's not doing it for some criminal purpose because J6 is mostly solved by that point. He's doing it to try to give the FBI one more piece of weaponry to stop Donald Trump from winning the presidency in 24. That's what is so concerning. It's a civil liberties violation that then gets politically weaponized by offering it to the FBI. Messed up. Like really, really, really, really, really messed up.
Starting point is 00:36:02 And so there are a lot of people out there. right now, oh, this is retribution, we shouldn't be doing this. How dare he? You know, this is not what the country's about. But I would just say, do you think the country was about what Obama did or what Biden did? We need to make sure that this never happens again to anyone, okay? And so, if it means going back in time, then I'm sorry. I mean, the irony is completely lost on one Whoopi Goldberg who said this moments ago, listen to the beginning of this clip, it's priceless. Okay, we get the tech, the tech department, not cooperating. with me here today. Hmm, what could be going? Oh, well, I'll just sum it up. So Whoopi Goldberg went on
Starting point is 00:36:52 her show and she said, you know, I don't know why we have to go back and look at all this stuff, like the past. Like we should be focused on the shutdown. We should be focused on this. We should be focused on that. And it's like, no, no, no, whoopee. Like, the irony of this is, what do you think? What do you think Biden did for four whole years? What do you think Arctic Frost was about? But going back, and trying to go after the other side the entire time. It is really, really bad. But I tell you this, you know what? They got it coming.
Starting point is 00:37:27 And there's going to be some heads that roll. I promise you that. I really do. I promise you that. Another big story I want to tell you about today. We've been talking about this one, actually, for a little while. In fact, the last couple of days we've been leading with this. It seems that they really are having some challenges.
Starting point is 00:37:45 over at one CBS Paramount. Well, of course, the company was sold, and now we're looking at serious layoffs over at CBS Paramount, Skydance. Okay, so Paramount was the owner of CBS, and Paramount got bought by Skydance, and Skydance really needs to remake CBS. I mean, they need to remake everything, right?
Starting point is 00:38:10 They bought this asset for a lot of money, and now they're trying to find synergies and find ways to innovate for the future. And there are a lot of people that are really nervous over at CBS as this all goes down, including Oprah's buddy, Gail King. We talked about this last couple of days. Well, today, one of the big headlines in the Wall Street Journal is Paramount CBS layoffs. So it's official.
Starting point is 00:38:31 It's official. King's future, meanwhile, totally on the rocks. She's making 13 to 15 million, which I would say is probably $12.5 million. It's too much for the woman. you got other people over there, the evening news guy, that you've probably never heard of. I'm sorry, I used to work there and I hadn't heard of him. I think he was post me, but I really hadn't heard of him. In fact, I'd never even heard him speak, which is wild, right?
Starting point is 00:38:59 You can think about how much news I consume, which just shows nobody watches CBS evening news. We don't even watch clips from the CBS evening news. So somehow I stumbled across a clip of this guy. And let me just say, one anchor to an episode. you need some voice lessons. I can see why you were a print reporter. I don't mean to be mean or unkind, but, you know, voices, they matter. And as a classically trained singer, I would say this poor guy, very nasal, very nasal voice. I don't know. I've never seen him, right? So like, I don't think he made much dent of a dent in anybody's imagination. I don't think he had a lot of viewers.
Starting point is 00:39:37 And so consequently, you know, making a lot of money, maybe, I don't know. I'm guessing he was cheap, cheap, cheap, but who knows, right? He was a print reporter, came in, woohoo, I'm in TV. Whether or not I looked the part and sound the part, that's a whole other thing. And so this poor guy is now out. We don't know if he was fired, if he chose to go, whatever. But let's just say, Barry is making some changes. And Barry means business, and Barry runs a good business.
Starting point is 00:40:06 Barry created the free press. And she left the New York Times because New York Times, was clearly not a fair place. Now, whether or not she can pull it off when it comes to TV, I don't know. But I'm willing to listen and be entertained from the sidelines, that is. Don't worry, not going anywhere. Never would.
Starting point is 00:40:28 I love what we've been able to create here. It's a whole different ballgame. It's just fantastic. It's a really sort of liberating and tremendous experience to be here with all of you, and I appreciate everything that you have done to make this channel a success. but it's very different than any network I've ever worked at. And yeah, you know, occasionally, you know, if the computer gets a little sticky, the sound bites don't run. But you know, that would
Starting point is 00:40:50 happen in live TV as well. The difference is, is I'd have somebody telling me in my ear, we'd probably have to sit there together for 20 seconds and wait for it. And then finally I'd be like, okay, okay, no, all right, we're going to move on. We don't have that soundbite. So it's just a little more instantaneous here. And it's yet again, another one of the things that I actually love about this business and what we're able to do in a very different but very authentic and transparent way here on YouTube. So thank you for being here. We have a lot more news to get to. Don't forget, by the way, to go to Spotify. Let me see if I can put the link up. Even into the chat, it would be wonderful if you guys could do that.
Starting point is 00:41:30 Did I put it? I might have put it into the show notes. But if not, go check me out over on Spotify, it's the blue with the red cover. That's the one you want. So go check that out when you can. In terms of CBS, I mean, I just think that, you know, they've got so many challenges. They've got so many challenges. I did find the Spotify link. By the way, I am going to make sure that you get this in the live chat. But I would just say they've got so many challenges because it's, it's a really stale old business. And when you look at things like 60 minutes, I used to say when we were over there, I was like, gosh, you know, it must be nice to work for 60 minutes because you don't ever have to explain yourself. Everybody wants to go on 60 minutes. And so that's always like
Starting point is 00:42:14 one of the first calls they make. But why do they want to go on 60 minutes? It's not because it's a great show. No, they go on 60 minutes because 60 minutes comes on the air like right after football on Sunday nights or right before, yeah, right after football. And so they get these enormous ratings that really have nothing to do, shall we say, nothing to do with 60 minutes being a good, platform or a good program. It's definitely not what it used to be. And everything to do with timing. I mean, you're on right after the football game. If you put something kind of enticing, you're going to get some viewers in there to watch. And so that's really what that's about. Not about pure talent, not about really great reporting. I mean, we know that the reporting
Starting point is 00:42:53 is not great, right? Here's the Spotify link. I just found it. I am putting it in. it's not great reporting because the reporting is so insanely, obviously bias in one direction, and that was proven out when we saw the Kamala Harris interview. Elohim, thank you for the agreement. You agree, you agree. It looks like you're maybe a member here on the channel. Thank you for being a member. Appreciate all your generosity.
Starting point is 00:43:19 You guys are just really, really tremendous, just a wonderful group of viewers here, and I feel so fortunate to have you. Anyway, you know, they need you over at CBS, but I'm not. think you're going there, all right? So they're going to try and reinvent this thing to see, okay, can they compete with the streaming world? And my short answer is, good luck, guys. I just don't see it happening. I don't see it coming. I don't see you being able to do that in part because you're also tightly wound. You're not going to allow for your talent to have an opinion, right, because you're CBS News and you have to like walk this straight and narrow path. I know that Barry is
Starting point is 00:43:54 trying to get some interesting new faces in there. Maybe Scott Jennings. will come over and moonlight, you know, when he's down over at CNN. Maybe he could do both gigs. Heck, I think those two are going to merge anyway, right? Paramount wants to buy CNN, so maybe Scott could do both. And yeah, you'll spice up the place, spice up the joint if you would, but you know what? I'd rather watch Scott all on his own, right? Like, you know, without all the bells and whistles and the lighting department and the graphics
Starting point is 00:44:22 and all the things that go into television as we see it today. because then it feels packaged as opposed to raw, and there's something neat about a raw opinion. And that's what none of these networks can deliver. Individuals can, sure, but they're going to do that on individual platforms. Maybe you take all the individuals and then you roll them up into something bigger. Just don't tell us what it is, right? Because the minute you say CBS News, none of us actually trust it,
Starting point is 00:44:50 that's your problem. A big problem. I mean, and I don't know how you really get around that, but I'll be interested. I mean, Barry's a smart woman to see what she's able to come up with because I think if you put enough intelligent people together, maybe there's something that we have not quite thought about yet. Right? I mean, I like to think I think of all of it.
Starting point is 00:45:11 In fact, I could have told Bill Gates ages ago. You know what? You weren't going to get anywhere with this one. Now, he's finally admitting it. CNN's finally admitting it. Take a peek. Bill Gates finally admitting that, you know, climate-timore. change may not. I have to be careful how I say this, right? But it may not be the most pressing
Starting point is 00:45:33 issue for humanity right now. He thought it was, but he wrote a new piece and he's starting to think differently. Let's go back in time to 2020 and then hear what he has to say now. You think that climate change could be a bigger disaster than COVID. Why is that? Well, certainly climate change will make entire ecosystems die off. It'll make parts of the world impossible to live in. And so the actual economic and death toll from climate change will be much, much, much greater than what we have with this pandemic. But he's changing his tune now. he's actually rejecting the doomsday narrative in a new memo saying, quote,
Starting point is 00:46:27 although climate change will have serious consequences, particularly for people in the poorest countries, it will not lead to humanity's demise. People will be able to live and thrive in most places on earth for the foreseeable future. You know, I've said that all along. You know how I know that? Think about COVID, right? Think about what we went through.
Starting point is 00:46:46 All of a sudden, you couldn't go to the office anymore. Think about the advances we had in technology. Like, suddenly now we're all using Zoom. like we are a we're species we're human beings we we have brains we can think i guarantee you if oil was just depleted tomorrow we'd find another way to power up everything really really fast okay like this is what we do innovation comes from necessity often and so if the climate is in a really bad spot i have a feeling it's not going to completely wipe out humanity i mean maybe we'll wind up on mars i don't know, but, you know, in terms of priority, numeral uno right now, Billy Boy, I don't think it's
Starting point is 00:47:27 that. I never did. And you know what? If the Democrat Party had been smart, maybe they would listen to me or somebody else out there, because it's not what actually matters to everyday Americans as much as they try and force feed it to you. And I'm not making a judgment on it. I'm just saying no one cares. Okay. No one cares. And CNN finally sort of begrudgingly admits us, oh my gosh, how can this be? Nobody cares about the issue. We've been trying to stuff down every grade school kid's throat and every college kid's throat and every person who bothers and it's not many to watch CNN.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Take a peek. A message on climate change. A new one from Bill Gates that surprised a lot of people. In a new essay, Gates, who has long devoted a huge amount of time and money to awareness on climate change, He now argues more resources should be focused on poverty and hunger. He says that he doesn't think climate change will basically end humanity. With us now, we've seen a chief data analyst Harry Enton. And the reason this is interesting is because this does represent a shift in Bill Gates
Starting point is 00:48:41 in his public speaking on climate change. When you hear a shift on climate change, Harry, it made you think about maybe how people are looking at it differently. Yeah, I think a lot of people will agree. agree with Bill Gates that maybe this wouldn't be the end of humanity. And I think, you know, we've been talking about climate change now for decades upon decades upon decades. And the worry in terms of climate change simply put, hasn't shifted. It has not reached the majority of Americans. What are we talking about? Greatly worried about climate change. You go all the way back to 1988. 1989. It was 35%. 2040%. And in 2025. And in 2025, look at that. It's 40%. The same
Starting point is 00:49:17 number as we had 25 years ago back in 2000, and then only just five points higher than we had back in 1989. Really, we've just seen consistency on this issue. The bottom line is that the climate change message that folks who, of course, believe that climate change is real and is quite worrisome, simply put, has not really worked with the American people. So greatly worried. You say greatly worried. I mean, so people say they're greatly worried 40%, but how worried, really? Is it the biggest thing they're worried about? Yeah, it is not. It's not, okay? It's so not.
Starting point is 00:49:50 So, a couple things here. Number one, since 1989, we really haven't budged. Okay, we don't really care that much more about climate change than we did in 1989. And, you know, we're right back where we were in the year 2000. We've dropped six points since 2020. I mean, that was, you know, 2020 when people were stuck at home and had nothing better to do than sit there and worry about climate change. And now it's come down six points. Well, you know, 40%.
Starting point is 00:50:17 right back where we were in the year 2000 and about where we were in 1989, not much higher. I have a feeling it's going to continue to move lower on those charts. Sorry, sorry, sorry to all the people that are so passionate. I don't know what Greta's going to do. I really don't know what that poor little girl is going to do now that she doesn't have this to crusade on. Oh, I guess she's got the PLO stuff. She's already going to find something.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Anyway, let's keep going because it gets even worse, shall we say, for those that are so passionate about this because they're realizing they're all alone. Close to being the biggest thing that people are worried about. What are we talking about here? Well, why don't we just talk about top issue facing the U.S. climate change? Well, I got some numbers for you on the screen right here. You don't have to be a mathematical genius to know that these numbers are not particularly high. Top issue facing United States climate change. It was 3% in 2021, 2% of an average of polls in 2023. And this year, the average of polls, 2.1, 2. It is very, very low on the list of priorities. I was trying to count it out in the Gallup
Starting point is 00:51:20 poll, and basically it was so low down, you know, I was counting all the different issues, almost lost track. It was like 15th or 20th. It was just very, very low down. So the bottom line is not only are we seeing that the number has not really moved over the last 36 years, but in terms of being the top issue, it simply put, has not broken through. Two percent, there are just a ton of things that rank way higher in the list is important. Even I can count to two in terms of how people feel it will impact them directly. What are you saying? Yeah, I'll just note, too.
Starting point is 00:51:54 Only two, like, who are the 2%? Okay, if the 2% of Americans, I think this is the number one issue. Like, you must be living a pretty privileged life if this is your number one issue. Just saying, okay, you want to talk about the top 1% to 2% of Americans. Those are the people that the Democrats claim to hate, right? That they just want to tax and tax and tax more. I bet that these are the only people to have the time and luxury to care about climate change being the top issue for going to say. Number one, your Harvard education paying off. But number two, right here. Look at this. Climate change effect on my home area will be harder to stay here. Look, in 2023, it was 23%. Look at where we are now. 17%. Now, you know, these numbers are pretty comparable, but they're pretty comparable on the low side is what we're talking about here. As Americans simply put, just don't think we'll have the type of impact that will really change their lives, which again goes back to the message that Bill Gates was saying, right?
Starting point is 00:52:45 not something that's going to be devastating for humanity. It's something we can work a way out of. A lot of Americans agree. And even on this, we're talking about just 27% of Democrats who believe that climate change effect on my home area would be harder to stay here. So even on the left wing where you'd expect the climate change message to hit most home, it simply put is not reaching that type of level in terms of the doomsday scenario that Bill Gates is talking about. Interesting, whether or not he's following the science or public opinion. It does seem to be a shift here. Harriet, and great to see you. Great to see you. Very much. In other words, no one cares. No one cares, okay?
Starting point is 00:53:17 CNN, you tried. I get it, you tried. New York Times, you tried. Universities, you tried. Elementary schools, you tried. And only 2% consider it to be the biggest issue. Didn't I hear, like, Kamala Harris at some point say it was the biggest issue? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I did.
Starting point is 00:53:37 This is what the Democrats keep telling us over and over and over and over again. And then it turns out, you know, when you look at the Palestinians, Barquoise, you look at the fires, right, out and came. California, apparently they weren't actually doing the foresting that they should have done. They want to blame climate change, but, you know, there is some responsibility that should go with the state and the governor of California because, you know, you need to clear the forest from time to time. They're very good at doing that in Canada. At the same issue, I think it was up in Washington. Look, you know, there's some sort of basic science that you can address to help
Starting point is 00:54:11 manage this. And by the way, I'm just going to say this, Gavin Newsom, if you're that word, about climate change, which you purport to be, then why wouldn't you actually engage in some deforestation and clearing of the forest in order to deal with this threat? I'm sorry, you're just going to sit there and just blame, blame, blame, blame. We're tired of it, okay? Do something. Act like a conservative for a change. What do conservatives do?
Starting point is 00:54:36 When the going gets tough, they get going. And what do you see from Donald Trump right now? Wow, guys, this is kind of amazing. He's overseas. I mean, he had a heck of a time there. in Japan. They rolled out the red carpet for him in Japan. It was terrific. You've got really a wonderful presentation there of Donald Trump there in Japan as well as Korea. Let me see if I can get the right lower third on the screen for you. There we go, right? Trump is having a huge success
Starting point is 00:55:05 in Asia overall, not just in Japan, but also Korea, where today they gave him a crown. I mean, no king's rallies take that, right? It's kind of just a funny, I'm being tongue-in-cheek. And he said repeatedly, look, I'm not a king, I'm not a king, I'm not a king. But then they came forward with this lovely crown for him, along with quite a bit of pomp and circumstance. You know, as you go through Asia, what you see is that he's really actually been getting some pretty tremendous royal treatment here.
Starting point is 00:55:37 He was greeted, for example, coming out of the plane with the signature, YMCA, all while there in Japan, forgive me, in South Korea, getting that, let me see if I have it for you, I think I do, getting that crown. And believe me, it's a big crown. Now, he won't get that himself, just to be clear, because I'm sure some people will try and suggest that that's actually what's going on. No, he will actually be able, though, to give that to the White House. it'll be considered, you know, something that is part of history, if you would.
Starting point is 00:56:14 Here we go. And sovereignty on Earth, as well as the strong leadership and authority of a leader. Okay, so now it's on Korean, he's accepting it, and we will fast forward a little bit to the applause. and he graciously accepts the giant crown. Yeah, the no kings folks will just love that one. Anyway, kind of a certain amount of irony in this. So look, he had huge success there in Japan, as you saw yesterday,
Starting point is 00:56:58 and he welcomed the new prime minister, a female, by the way. It was a big deal for Japan because it's been historically seen as kind of a more masculine culture. But on top of that, now in South Korea today, talking about the alliances that we're going to have with them. This is all pretty important because, you know, it matters for our economy. It really, really does. And speaking of our economy, I want to not just show you what 76 research has out,
Starting point is 00:57:24 but of course, talk to you a little bit about what just came out of the Federal Reserve. So, again, if you're looking at the screen, you're actually looking at my company that I started with a very dear friend who is a brilliant stock picker. And so together we run 76 research. We actually had a terrific piece out yesterday. I really encourage you to get the $7. If nothing else, just get the $76 reports, $1 a month, use code word dollar and D-O-L-L-A-R and take a look at some of these stocks that we recommend, especially if you get the portfolios,
Starting point is 00:57:55 that's where a lot of value is, at 76 portfolios.com. But, you know, Trump's having a huge success, if you would, in Asia, as we've actually predicted. In fact, Rob, my colleague was just over in Japan recently and wrote quite a bit on Japan. and how that is really like an optimal position really for the U.S. to be in terms of trade relationships. And again, more coming through South Korea. In total, I think we're talking about $22 trillion, $22 trillion, guys, in deals. I mean, that's a lot, okay? It's a lot of money coming in, money that we didn't have before.
Starting point is 00:58:35 And Trump is really, really proud of that. The other thing he's probably really proud of right about now, dare I say, is what just went down with Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve because that's a rate cut, baby. Boy, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, dare I try it again. And I had such a good intro too to it, right? I wanted to show you what Powell was saying, or at least a little report on it. because, you know, the market right now taking it in stride, we're seeing the market selling off a little bit, but basically it's the second rate cut this year. They're cutting interest rates by a quarter of a percent. Let me put this up on the screen for you. The market kind of just, you know,
Starting point is 00:59:25 expected this. I mean, in fact, I was on the phone with my colleague at 76 research this morning, Rob, and I said, you know, what do you think? And he said, I think we're going to get a 25 basis point cut. 25 basis points is the cut so interest rates go down let's see if I can type and talk at the same time cuts by 25 bibbs as we like to call it right
Starting point is 00:59:50 so that's that's that's something I think people would have gotten nervous it had been 50 basis points you know a half a percentage point in this case it's a quarter and the idea is to try and stimulate the economy through lower rates because a lot of people are facing high rates on their car loans or on their mortgage loans.
Starting point is 01:00:13 And so Trump is really aggressively campaigning. You know, the good news is we actually have inflation coming down too, so it gives the Federal Reserve this room to move on interest rates. So this overall is a good thing. In terms of how the market's taking it, I can tell you, the SMPs off slightly, the Dow Jones Industrial average off slightly, NASDAQ, up about a quarter of percent. I would just say this. You know what?
Starting point is 01:00:33 it was baked in. Everybody kind of saw this one coming. And so that's, uh, that's still good news, though. You know what? Still good news. Um, he is meeting with Xi tomorrow. I'm going to put this on the lower third as well. He is meeting with President Xi out of China tomorrow. That's a big deal. So a lot happening in terms of our Asia relationships right now. Japan kicking in $550 billion. Nice. They get deals up the was. zoo out of South Korea as well, and he wants to try and come to some kind of trade agreement with China. I will tell you, he gets the economy unlike any president, I think, in my lifetime we've ever had. I mean, granted, Reagan was a capitalist who believed in free markets and free
Starting point is 01:01:19 market capitalism and the beauty of all that, but Donald Trump has really lived it, right? Because Donald Trump is a business person, period, flat out, and that's what makes him special and unique and kind of unlike anybody else we've ever had there. It's kind of tremendous to see. It's tremendous to have you all here. Thank you for being here. Make sure if you have not, if you have not, do me the favor of subscribing to the channel.
