Today, Trish Regan reports that subpoenas have been issued by the Eastern Distric...t of Virginia in the case targeting Leticia James’ real estate dealings. If convicted of trying to defraud the federal government, Tish James could face up to 30 years in federal prison, reports Trish Regan. The media isn’t covering the story but, that should come as no surprise. They refused to cover Biden’s decline. One reporter, Jake Tapper from CNN, is acknowledging that in a new book being released today. Isn’t that rich? Trish Regan slams Jake Tapper accusing him of being part of the very problem he’s now trying to ‘expose’. Those stories and more in today’s Trish Regan Show — Join Trish LIVE! Starting point is 00:00:00 Well, it's official. It is underway. This case against Letitia James is happening, ladies and gentlemen. We are learning that the first subpoenas have gone out out of the eastern court there in Virginia. We have all the details coming up. Plus, more developments going on. The South African farmers that are being taken in by one Donald Trump, who's actually in Saudi Arabia today, they are not exactly getting a very warm welcome by those on the left. We're going to talk about how the is reacting to all this Pope Leo's brother. Oh, who knew? He's like super duper, totally maga. And wow, can he not stand Nancy Pelosi? I'm going to share with you some excerpts of an interview with none other than Pope Leo the 14th's brother. But we begin today, make sure you subscribe, share a like. I can see everything you're writing. We are a live show. So, careful, careful. We begin today on Letitia James. Lettisha James is, now officially in the hot seats. subpoenas are being issued out of the court there,
Starting point is 00:01:05 the Eastern Court in Virginia. We have learned in the alleged fraud mortgage case. So it's rather remarkable, like this twist of fate when you think about it, because what this carries with it is some serious, serious penalties for one, Leticia James. I mean, she could actually find herself in federal prison for up to 30 years if she's convicted of what she is being accused of doing. As you recall, there's this house in Virginia that she, Norfolk, Virginia, that she said she was going to use as a primary residence.
Starting point is 00:01:40 However, she was Attorney General of New York at the time, so there's no way she could possibly have it as her primary residence. But when you apply for a federal housing loan like that, you need to make sure you're squeaky clean because otherwise you could be accused of, and she's being accused of defrauding the federal government, comes with it some serious mega penalties. So again, the Eastern court there in Virginia issuing these grand jury subpoenas, this is a big, big deal for one Latisha James,
Starting point is 00:02:10 just to sort of give some perspective on how big a deal. You heard me say 30 years in prison is what it carries up to, because false statements to obtain a federally insured loan is a big no-no as well as false statements to the government period. So in this case, she's trying to obtain the loan. She made false state. and it comes with it none other than a 30-year penalty. So 30 years in prison, possibly, as a result of all of this. Don't forget, the FH loans, FHA loans, I should point out, they're secured and issued by the federal government. So lying on one of those loan applications is a big big deal, especially about your primary residence, right? Because in theory,
Starting point is 00:02:48 if it's your primary residence, it would get a better mortgage rate. Typically, it always does because the thinking is that you would pay that loan off first. And so this is a federal offense. The FHA requires the property to be the borrower's primary residence within 60 days of closing. So, Letitia, honey, baby, I mean, you're looking at 30 years in jail. This is unbelievable. And like the irony of it all, right? Because she was going after Donald Trump for something sort of similar, except that one was a private transaction. He wasn't actually using federal funds. And she was trying to stuff, you know, the square peg and the round hole trying to somehow come up with a weight get him and the judges that heard this at the appellate court are like, yeah, but where's the victim?
Starting point is 00:03:35 I mean, where is your victim here? This is a private transaction between two people and the banker said they'd do it again all day long, right? Everybody got paid back. This is the house in question. This was supposed to be the principal residence there in Norfolk, Virginia, but the Eastern District of Virginia court is like, well, we got to look at this, right? We've got to look at this because William Pulte is asking the DOJ to look at it. Pambondi is taking the case forward. We know Cash Patel has opened an FBI investigation, and so now the chickens are effectively coming home to Roos.
Starting point is 00:04:09 You know, Daly Caller made a little visit to the house in question, and they were looking to see if it really was Letitia's primary residence, which obviously we know it's not because she lives in New York, but that didn't stop them from knocking on some doors. Do you remember this? Hi there. I'm a reporter with the Daily Caller, New Soundbaker. Goodbye. You're trespassing.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I'm sorry. My kids are around here. I understand. We mean no trouble. We're just curious who the occupants of the home are because there's, well, there are connections. There are connections to New York Attorney General Letitia James. Are you related to Lettia James?
Starting point is 00:04:52 Do you know her? You're trespassing. Go with the house. Do you know Lettia James? Okay. No comment. Thank you, ma'am. Don't come up to my house no more.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Thank you, ma'am. Thank you, ma'am. You have a good one. Be well. Do you well. Okay, so they get chased out of the neighborhood. But, you know, this, again, I think that the irony should not be lost here. She went after Donald Trump for sort of a similar thing, a mortgage violation.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Maybe it was on her head or something. Maybe she's got a guilty conscience. Maybe she knew that she shouldn't have done what she did. Of course, she should have known for goodness sake. The woman is the Attorney General of the State. in New York. The woman is an attorney. And by the way, this isn't the end of it, right? Because there's also the case where they may be going after her in federal court in New York, although maybe the Eastern District of Virginia will suffice in this case. By the way, that
Starting point is 00:05:38 court is known to kind of cycle through these things pretty quickly. So perhaps that's one of the reasons why they brought that case there. Also, proximity-wise, it's good. And also, it's the House in Virginia that she was trying to say that was her primary residence. In this particular case, if you look at the screen, I'm showing you a picture of a brownstone. New York Post took this photo and basically in this particular one, and it's additional, if you would, there seems to be a repeat pattern, dare I say. In the Brownstone, she was also getting a special deal on a loan allegedly because it was a certain number of levels. In this case, you needed four levels in order to get the special federal loan, and she seems to have
Starting point is 00:06:21 had five levels there. So she may have fudged the documentation, at least that's what's being alleged, in order to say she had four. And so that, again, would be a total violation of federal law, and you're lying at that point to the federal government. And then there's the issue, if you go back all the way to 1983, and this is how she managed to get this loan for her father by saying that she was his wife and therefore had income, etc. So there seems to be a pattern here, but I think the bottom line is, Letitia's not really looking very good for you. Again, the Eastern District of Virginia coming out just today
Starting point is 00:07:02 and issuing these subpoenas. So this is a very, very big deal. It's amazing to me because the media has been totally, totally silent on all of this. You're not hearing a lot. She, on the other hand, is trying to defend herself here and there. She went on to some MSNBC friendly territory-type places, including one podcast with the guy. I keep saying, who looks like Rachel Matter. You can't really tell.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Is it Rachel or is it Chris Hayes? In this case, it is actually Chris Hayes. And she can't answer these questions. Listen to this. She won't answer these questions other than to say she doesn't even think that they're going to get to first base. They've gotten to first base. Subpoenas are going out as we speak. I will respond to these baseless allegations at the appropriate time and in the appropriate way.
Starting point is 00:07:46 But I am 100% confident, confident that it will not result in any criminal indictment or action against me. And that it is nothing more than a revenge tour and that Donald Trump just ultimately got to the J's and I was next. The key allegation, again, it sounds like you don't want to address them here, but I'm just going to put it out so people understand that a property that was owned in Virginia and a mortgage that you signed, if I'm not mistaken, for that property, that they say you falsely represented yourself as a resident of Virginia and that that was essentially amounts to mortgage fraud since you're a resident of New York. What is your response to that? It's baseless. Everybody knows. I'm a resident of New York, specifically Brooklyn. And again, we will respond at the appropriate time and the appropriate way to these baseless allegations. And some media outlets like the Daily News over the weekend has indicated as much. That's all you want to say. That's all that I'm going to say.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Yeah, because she can't say anything else. Because she can't actually do. defend herself in this case. She's just like, oh, it's baseless allegations, basis allegations. Well, why is it that they allegedly have a record of you saying that this was your primary residence in Virginia? Why do they have records of you being listed as the wife of your father? I mean, why is it that you're miscategorizing your brownstone in all of these cases? It just so happens that you get a better deal on the mortgage. Again, the very thing, the very thing, the very thing that she was trying to go after Donald Trump for. Except in his case, she couldn't actually even bring it into criminal court
Starting point is 00:09:41 because, you know what, it was a private transaction between him and his banker, and the banker's the one that goes and does all the due diligence. And so it's the banker's problem, right? If he can't pay the loan back, as opposed to the federal government, I mean, she was actually risking taxpayer dollars in that case with her little transaction. She just doesn't seem to get it. And she keeps telling you it's all A-O-K. It's just a clerical filing.
Starting point is 00:10:04 I don't know. How do you have that many clerical filings? One after another. Three in a row, I'm not buying it. I have to ask you, I mean, there were reports today that the Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation into real estate transactions that you're involved with. I'm not validating that any way, but I wanted to just ask you if you've received a formal notice of that at this point. No, not at all. These allegations, Jen, are baseless. They have been discredited, refuted. There was a letter that was prepared by my attorney. that was sent to Pam Bondi, the United States Attorney General. And it's unfortunate that President Trump publicly attacked me a few days ago, and as a result of that, he telegraphed to the Department of Justice and to FBI that I should be targeted. You see, this is nothing more than an extension of his revenge, his retribution,
Starting point is 00:10:59 and he finally got up to the Jays. And so I stand prepared to respond to these basic attacks with facts. And we look forward, obviously, to further discussions with the Department of Justice or any other individual who leaked this material. Hmm. Leaked? Leaked this material? I mean, it's public information. Sorry, Letitia.
Starting point is 00:11:22 You know, when you fill out a form, you have to try and fill it out correctly. You shouldn't be trying to defraud, if that is the case, the federal government and her lawyer. By the way, we're going to get to that because she's charging taxpayers for the lawyer. The lawyer who actually used to work with Hunter Biden, Abby Lowell charges a pretty penny, is saying this is just a whole bunch of clerical stuff. Except, of course, she signed it, and she's a lawyer. Like, shouldn't there even be like a higher standard? If you would, like, you know, maybe you don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:53 And somebody tells you, oh, you'll get a better rate if you do this. And you could argue, oh, I didn't know. I was just naive. But even then it wouldn't be a defense. But in her case, you can't actually say I didn't know because she is a lawyer herself. So yeah, the lawyer is trying to say that this is just baseless and that it is all politically motivated, all just politics. And they're citing the fact that Donald Trump came out and talked about it. Of course, Donald Trump came out and talked about it because one of the reporters in the
Starting point is 00:12:25 room asked him, but he covers himself actually pretty darn nicely. Take a listen. I can say unrelated to that. She's a disaster for New York. She's a horrible, horrible human being. Okay, he said unrelated to that. I think she's a disaster for New York. And watch how he also qualifies this. In other words, he doesn't like the woman. He clearly has no use for her.
Starting point is 00:12:45 He clearly thinks she's a political animal, and as he goes on to say, a sick person. But it's not as though he's implicating somehow a political agenda that he has against her here. Listen. And I think she's a total crook. There's no question about it, but that's just my opinion. Pam's going to have to do what she wants. She's a very bad person. She's a very, very bad person who campaigned solely on I'm going to get Donald Trump over and over again.
Starting point is 00:13:10 She's a sick person. But that has nothing to do with what Pam does. Pam is going to do what's right. She always does. I've known her a long time. Yeah. Well, Pam's doing what's right. In other words, William Pulte, who's the head of the FHA, is saying, wait a second,
Starting point is 00:13:26 when we see all these media reports of Letitia James getting a better deal. That's not allowed. That's absolutely not allowed. And by the way, on top of it, you're an employee of the government and you're doing this, and you're an attorney? I mean, this is like triple do. Triple, triple not allowed. It's a triple-decker.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Okay? It's like, not allowed, not allowed. And for her to say, oh, he's just politically going after me. Again, I'll quote the lawyer who says, well, Donald Trump has said before, quote, if you go after me, I'm coming after you. I am your warrior. I am your justice. I am your retribution.
Starting point is 00:13:58 Donald Trump said all these things. So then they equate that to mean, oh, well, then he's coming after her. Not that she did anything at all similar, right? I mean, wasn't this the woman who actually went out in campaign before she even saw anything, before she even had a crime to go after him with, and she didn't, by the way, she didn't have a crime. She insisted that she was politically going to go after him. This is what she ran her entire campaign on. The president of the United States has complained that I'm engaging in some sort of political witch hunt,
Starting point is 00:14:34 that I've got some personal vendetta against him, that I campaigned against him. That is not true. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, so she was going to go after him, and she did, and then she tried to take away Trump Tower. You remember it, we were living and breathing it during the time, but I'll take you down memory lane, ABC News, interestingly, whom she told she was going to confiscate his assets. Four days after a judge ordered Donald Trump to pay $355 million for a decade of fraud. New York Attorney General, the T.
Starting point is 00:15:14 If he does not have funds to pay off the judgment, then we will seek, you know, judgment enforcement mechanisms in court. And we will ask the judge to seize his assets. And somehow she got some totally political judge that was willing to go along with all of this. And the next thing you know, there's a 500. billion dollar tab that Donald Trump somehow owes the state in New York for an alleged crime that never was actually a crime, but rather a private transaction. I mean, in her case, you got something here, okay? Pam Bondi definitely has something here. And there may be more because New York itself, as a taxpayer in New York, the fact that she is taking your money to pay for the Hunter Biden lawyer
Starting point is 00:16:02 to represent her, that's problematic. in a personal transaction because she was doing stuff that she may not ever have should have been doing, period. We're going to get to that in a second, but first a quick shout out. You know, we're totally independent here on the Trish Regan show. So we love our sponsors, including our friends over at American Heart for Gold. Gold back up today. We were just talking about gold, actually, with the head of the company there on yesterday's program.
Starting point is 00:16:27 You know that I'm a big long-term believer in gold, and I believe it's a way of diversifying and kind of sort of hedging your bets, if you would. something that I do tend to buy whenever it goes down and today it's up so I'm sitting by the sidelines waiting and watching. You can you can buy gold too. I highly recommend our show sponsor up to $15,000 in free silver. That's a big, big seller right there because often silver attracts with gold prices and there's other uses for silver, et cetera. Go check it out today. Trish lovesgold.com 1844495-1115. Text Trish to 65532 guys. Letitia James. is using New York taxpayer money to pay for her high-priced, fancy schmancy, former Hunter Biden attorney.
Starting point is 00:17:15 Abby Lull is the attorney she's using. By the way, in Abby's defense, Abby has also defended the Kushners, including Ivanka Kushner, Ivanka Trump Kushner. And so he has worked for both sides, but nonetheless, a very expensive attorney. So she's going for the best here. She's racking up the bills. And you know who's not happy? Taxpayers. New York Post had a big op-ed on this the other day. Nix's taxpayer-funded legal defense slush fund for Letitia James and any other state
Starting point is 00:17:43 politician facing federal investigation. So in this case, you've got an attorney general that's being accused of personal crimes. In other words, when you go and you take out a loan for a home in Virginia and you allegedly say it is your personal residence, And then after the fact, you're getting called out on it, that's kind of a personal issue, right? So why would you be using taxpayer funds to defend yourself from that? That's what taxpayers are saying, like, hey, this is not fair. Like, this is something that she may have screwed up in her personal life, kind of like, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:23 back in 1983, when she decided to sign a document saying that she was the wife of her father. that is something that would be a personal violation, right? So again, why would she be able to use taxpayer dollars to defend herself against that? I remember how they went crazy? Oh my gosh, when Donald Trump was using campaign dollars to defend himself against Letitia James? Lettia's taking a step further. She's going for taxpayer money. I mean, this woman is unbelievable, right?
Starting point is 00:18:56 So she's hired this high-price attorney, Abby Loll, commands a pretty penny, and then expects New York taxpayers to foot the bill, because as she told us, she somehow thinks that this is all just politically motivated, right? Then that's her defense. She's going to say this is political, political, political, political. There was a letter that was prepared by my attorney that was sent to Pam Bondi, the United States Attorney General. And it's unfortunate that President Trump publicly attacked me a few days ago. And as a result of that, he telegraphed to the Department of Justice and to FBI that I should be targeted. You see, this is nothing more than an extension.
Starting point is 00:20:02 of his revenge, his retribution, and he finally got up to the Jays. Well, you know, maybe Leticia, if you weren't out there, buying homes, and saying they were going to be your primary residence, again, I want to say that's what's being alleged, let's get all the paperwork, this is why they're subpoenaing people, right? This is why there's the grand jury investigation, et cetera. If this is the case, then kind of that's your own problem, right? you are the one who sort of screwed up there, and I think that you should be responsible for the legal bills. I don't think this is a taxpayer issue to get your lawyer to issues. This is something
Starting point is 00:20:41 like 44 pages, by the way. You have Abby Lowell saying that this is nothing but a political witch hunt. Oh my gosh. I mean, again, the irony of everything is really just so darn incredible. In the meantime, Letitia James is also under fire at this moment because she's being accused of targeting small businesses. We know that she's going to target anybody she wants to target, right? That's the whole problem with having an attorney general that's a political animal instead of just a legal animal. In other words, do your job, lady. Stay in your lane, lady. Do not just try to attack people for political reasons. And the fear now in the state of New York is this is what she's doing. I get it. Remember? And we said this at the time. This was
Starting point is 00:21:20 effectively the danger with having an attorney general was such enormous scope that she could go after someone for what she went after Donald Trump for. And by the way, this has not come back from the appellate court yet, but I expect that it will. And when it does, you're going to see that they throw the whole thing out because they're going to say, she couldn't have, shouldn't have done this. If you listen to, and you can go back and listen, we've played it extensively here on this show. If you listen to what the judges are saying, they can't understand how she has the legal authority to even be going after a private transaction. And they're worried that she has overstepped her bounds in massive ways. Well, this is what small businesses are now worried about because of a new
Starting point is 00:22:03 kind of law that she has put in place. I want to take you over to the New York Post, actually, which has been all over this story. Of course, it's New York. And they're saying that her pro-consumer push that she has put forward is expected to spark legal shakedowns and boost greedy lawyers. Businesses are like, whoa, because it's one thing, right? You want to protect consumers, but you also have to remember to protect the business owners as well. And the fear with Letitia James is that she's doing anything she can for political reasons. If she thinks it's going to score her a political chip, then she's in the game. And that's what's so frightening and disheartening and disgusting, frankly, about one Letitia James,
Starting point is 00:22:42 and we saw it in full view. Did we not? And you know what, now he's president of the United States. So good luck, honey, bunny. Right? As Mike Davis said, you might just find her. fat. Let's go with Tush in prison. All right, because this is a whole different Trump administration. Whole different administration. And those, what do they say, those in glass houses should not
Starting point is 00:23:09 throw stones. Letitia, you should have listened to that one a little bit more closely. Again, we're totally independent here on the Tricia Regan show. We like it that way, and we love our sponsors for supporting us and helping making sure this show comes to you for free. every single day. Go check out Balance of Nature. I take the fruits and veggies. Everybody's really into health right now. You hear RFK Jr. talking about it all the time. We've got to get rid of all the bad stuff in our food. So thanks to these guys, I now have normalized vitamin D levels, balance of nature.com. Again, I take the fruits and
Starting point is 00:23:51 veggies. You should look at it. They have a lot of different things. There are tons of testimonials from people all over the world. My code word is Trish. So you get 35% off. If you use code Trish, you help me, you help yourself, and 35% off. Also, free shipping and money back guarantee. You can also call them 1-800-246-8751. 1-1800, 246-8751. My goodness, the media's lack of attention on Letitia James, I guess should be expected. After all, they covered up Joe Biden for how long? Oh, four whole years, right? And I guess they would have covered it for another four. Had he won? Well, Jake Tapper is an anchor on CNN, and he has decided that the media should have come forward sooner with some of this information. Of course, the one problem with all of this is Jake Tapper, as an anchor on CNN, did nothing to come forward with any of the
Starting point is 00:24:51 information, and I guarantee you he knew. He knew what we all knew. I mean, like, you'd have to be a moron not to see it, right? Here, take a look. This is one of my favorite moments, because it really told me in a way who the Prime Minister of Italy really was and is a wonderful woman actually exiting the group of other members of the G7 that are there for photo op after Joe Biden wanders away to look at the parachute over there on the side. And so she corrals everybody. including most importantly him, brings them together, and you see the slowness with which he operates. And there are many, many moments like this. And we played a lot of them here on the show, because my feeling was you needed to see him. And I always showed you those in full.
Starting point is 00:25:35 So there was no deceptive editing going on. There's no slow-mo going on when you see him putting on his sunglasses so slowly. That's because he's putting them on so slowly. And he's moving more and more slowly. And you saw, of course, when he would fall coming down or up, Air Force One, all of these things, right, which started to mount. And I think it was pretty obvious to anyone who had two brain cells what was going on, except that the media kept covering up. Kept covering up, kept covering up. And now Jake Tapper is out with a book on the big cover up. Let's watch him. You may have to turn up the volume a little bit. I'll see what I can do here. we go.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Gig Tapper here, Alex Thompson from Axios and I wrote a book. It's coming on next Tuesday. It's called Original Sin, President Biden's decline, its cover-up and his disastrous choice to run again. The book is drawn from more than 200 interviews with mostly Democratic insiders, almost all of them after the election. And one of the things we were shocked to learn, the White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, talked about how if Biden had one more fall, he might actually need to be in a wheelchair.
Starting point is 00:26:45 But this was all put off until after the election. They did not want images of Biden in a wheelchair out there. You might recall that Biden started to have problems with a shuffling gate that the administration was very sensitive about. There was a time when they started having people walk with him to Marine One. Those people were there to kind of hide the fact that his gate was as bad as it was and also have them there
Starting point is 00:27:09 in case he stumbled. The White House would say that this gate issue was because Biden had fallen. in after the election of 2020. But the truth is that it didn't have to do with that. Dr. O'Connor's medical report said that that injury was completely healed. This had to do with other degenerative problems. Okay.
Starting point is 00:27:29 I'm going to go to this in a second. I want to go to that little bit of sound in a second. But just remember what you saw there, right? He's like, oh, my gosh, you know, there were all these things going on. And nobody was reporting on it, right? That's the big sort of premise of this. Why was nobody reporting on it? And going over to a CNN clip just the other night where they had this discussion and Scott
Starting point is 00:27:47 Dennings is like, wow, there's going to be some truth bombs that come out. And I think a lot of people in the media establishment are going to have egg on their face. Watch. Watching him on the view today and watching some of the interviews he did over. Thank you for your view with you. Yeah, I saw it. It's a rare for me, but I did watch it. I will just say, watching him over the last few days reminded me that a whole bunch of people
Starting point is 00:28:11 were telling us with a straight face. that this man was capable of serving another four years as president. And that, these appearances, coupled with what I understand, is going to be the equivalent of a nuclear bomb dropped on the Democratic Party when Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's book come out next week. I don't know that the Democrats have fully internalized what's about to happen to them between what he looks like today and what they're about to report, get ready.
Starting point is 00:28:36 I am not sure that Joe. You just said that he told, you said that he told Kamala Harris that she could not have any distance from it's been reporting he told her point of light he doesn't matter what he doesn't okay because because reporting can never be wrong are you attacking the journalism around it you think reporting can never be wrong if you you come in and you come out here and you attack reporting every night we actually asked him there's critical reporting about this guy okay he told her point well we asked okay so Anna wants to basically defend herself and all the ladies on the view that refused to acknowledge the
Starting point is 00:29:12 elephant in the room, all while Jake Tapper comes out with this massive. You know what, Jeff is right. Jeff Mahan joining us. Thank you for your generosity saying he's gaslighting again. It's like gaslighting on steroids. He's like, oh my gosh, the media didn't see it. The media didn't see it. The media didn't see it. Shame on the media. Of course, I was the media and I was the one who was telling you the whole time. He was totally fine. He was totally fine, right? I mean, he got in this giant, giant fight with Lara Trump who's criticizing at the time Joe Biden, this is like, like a month before the guy drops out of the race. She's like, gosh, you know, he's talking so slow.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Can he ever get the words out? And he accuses her of shaming people who suffer from a stuttering problem. I'm like, take. Now you're trying to make a buck. I'm sorry. You know, shame on anyone who buys that piece of garbage written by, frankly, one giant scam artist. Every time he comes on stage or they turn to him, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:30:10 Joe, can you get it out? Let's get the words out, Joe. You kind of feel bad for him. How do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that? First and foremost, I had no idea that Joe Biden ever suffered from a stutter. I think what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake, is very clearly a cognitive decline. That's what I'm referring to. It makes me uncomfortable to watch somebody on stage. It's so amazing to me that. and try and figure out an answer.
Starting point is 00:30:41 A cognitive decline. Well, when you're trying to tell me that what I was suggesting was a stuttering. I think that you were mocking his stutter. Yeah, I think you were mocking his stutter. And I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody's cognitive decline. I would think that somebody in the Trump family would be more sensitive to people who do not have medical licenses diagnosing politicians from afar. Plenty of people have diagnosed your father from afar.
Starting point is 00:31:07 And I'm sure it offends you. your father-in-law from afar. I'm sure it defends you. You don't have any standing to say... I'm not diagnosing him. What I'm saying, Jake, is that we can clearly see that Joe Biden is struggling... I have many times on stage, and it's very concerning to a lot of people that this could be the leader of the free world. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:26 That is all I'm saying. I genuinely feel sorry for Joe Biden in it. I appreciate it. I'm sure. And now he's selling a book. Now, the guy who shut down Larry Trump for trying to say, to everybody, hey, this guy is slowing down. Now, he's selling a book complaining about how the media missed this. I'm like, I mean, granted, eventually you came to the party, Jake, when it was so
Starting point is 00:31:54 obvious in the debate and you want to pat yourself on the back because you decided to echo George Clooney's little op-ed and you say, hey, let's get this guy out of here. By then, it was too late. I mean, if you'd listen to some of us in the conservative side of the media, guess what? I was all over that. years ago, years ago. I was like, you can't run them. I mean, not unless you want to lose, right? And you certainly can't run Kamala Harris because, well, she's Gamala Harris and she can't string a sentence together, all right? That's it. That's all you need to know. The woman can't talk. Not a lot going on upstairs. So what are you going to do? You should have primaried the guy. That was a no-brainer, but you're all a bunch of, oh, I don't know, a bunch of deep state, like, water carriers.
Starting point is 00:32:42 You felt that you had to carry the water for the administration over and over and over again? I mean, even Jan Saki, who was there and she was his press person, she's trying to walk back from this now saying, well, you know, I never saw it. I never saw it. How could you not see it? Everybody saw it, Jenny. I hadn't seen him in person during that period of time. I never saw. that person, not a single time. And I was in the Oval Office every day. That was on that debate stage. I'm not a doctor. Aging happens quite quickly. Cover-up is a very loaded term, I think. Well, it means you knew that it was really bad and you're pretending otherwise, versus you're diluting yourself, which I think is what people do a lot. Well, I understand, but I still think it's like cover-up is often like a crime, right? People use that term as they relate to Watergate or the covering up of not sharing public information about a war.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Yeah, I'm not good. I think it's a bit of a dangerous term. No, for you maybe. But what do you think you did? You covered it up. And so did Jake Tapper, who's now trying to make money on all of you guys at your expense. Man, I mean, and, you know, the Joe Scarborough stuff, oh, best Biden ever. I mean, these people were literally nuts and we're like, are we the only ones that see it?
Starting point is 00:33:57 No, they were just covering up. That was a cover-up of epic. proportions and Jake Tapper ought to be ashamed for trying to make a buck on it after the fact. Just gross, right? Totally gross. Remember to subscribe, share, like, all that good stuff. You know who else thinks it's totally gross? Guarantee you. The brother of the new Pope, Pope Leo the 14th brother, he's like totally maga, like super duper maga. He went on, Here's Morgan's show last night and talked about how he really is very maga. And he's kind of had to curtail some of his tweets and he's tweeted some things in the past
Starting point is 00:34:38 that have raised a few eyebrows. And, well, you know, it's kind of harder to do that now with your brother as the Pope. But you know what? Good. He's one of us. Watch. On April the 5th, you reposted a video of Nancy Pelosi speaking in 1996, which came with the caption, not yours, but it came with a caption.
Starting point is 00:34:58 These effing liberals crying about tariffs is just unreal. do they not know that there is a thing called video? Just listen to what this drunk and then a very offensive word about Ms. Pelosi has to say in the mid-90s, long before her husband had grinder dates. I mean, with the benefit of hindsight of now knowing your brother was about to become, or is now the Pope, would you have been a little bit more careful about maybe reposting something like that? Or do you stand proudly by your rather lively posting? Well, I posted it, and I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't kind of believe it.
Starting point is 00:35:38 However, I had no idea that what was coming this soon, and I can tell you, since then, I've been very quiet biting my tongue at some of the stuff that is out there on social media because I don't want to create waves that don't need to be there because I'm, you know, I'm a magotype and I have my beliefs. I don't need to create heat for him. He's going to have enough to handle as it is without the press going. The Pope's brother says this. Isn't that great?
Starting point is 00:36:17 So what do you know? The Pope's brother is a magotype. The Pope's brother believes in conservative values. Now, I know the Pope has come out against JD Vance and the Pope is all about open borders still sort of, you know, so there's all that. But I consider that a win, right? I mean, well, I considered it a win that we got an American Pope.
Starting point is 00:36:37 Remember when Donald Trump was accused to trolling? Because the left clearly has no sense of humor. And he had tweeted out that meme, or actually one of his staff members, tweet out a meme of him dressed as Pope after they had confronted him outside the helicopter. And they said, hey, who would you like to see as Pope? And he said, well, you know, we've got some good people here. We've got a good cardinal in New York. you probably didn't know all the names that were on the list, to be honest. And then he joked,
Starting point is 00:37:03 and he said, what about me? And the left went nuts. And so then the White House, very cleverly, said, oh, we're going to have some fun with this. Might as well troll him a little bit. And they came out with the Pope meme. And then he was asked about it in the White House. And he's like, gosh, you know, does nobody have a sense of humor around here? Hey, you know what? It could have been that little Pope meme and his comments that helped tip the scale in favor of the American Pope. I mean, kind of a big deal. I mean, granted, we're a young country, but we've finally got a Pope. I like it. And clearly, he's got some conservative roots in his family. So win, win, win, right? I mentioned there that the Pope is not a fan of sending out some of the migrants that have come to
Starting point is 00:37:49 this country. And that leads me to my next story. The left is losing it over the South Afrikaners coming here. These are white South Africans that have been basically subjected to tremendous genocide and violence there in their home country in South Africa. But for some reason, the left rationalizes it because they're saying, well, their ancestors were the ones that created apartheid, so therefore it's fine, whatever happens to them. Donald Trump's not having it. Listen to comments. Because they're being killed and we don't want to see people be killed. Now South Africa leadership is coming to see me. I understand sometime next week and you know we're supposed to have a I guess a G20 meeting there or something but we're having a G20 meeting I don't know how we can
Starting point is 00:38:40 go unless that situation's taken care of but it's a genocide that's taking place that you people don't want to write about but it's a terrible thing that's taking place and uh uh uh farmers are being killed. They happen to be white, but whether they're white or black, makes no difference to me, but white farmers are being brutally killed, and their land is being confiscated in South Africa. And the newspapers and the media, television media, doesn't even talk about it. If it were the other way around, they talk about it, that would be the only story they'd talk about. And I don't care who they are. I don't care about their race, their color. I don't care about their height, their weight.
Starting point is 00:39:21 I don't care about anything. I just know that what's happening is terrible. I have people that live in South Africa. They say it's a terrible situation taking place. So we've essentially extended citizenship to those people to escape from that violence and come here. So this has become a very big issue recently. Elon Musk has spoken out repeatedly about this.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Of course, he is from South Africa. He's talked about this being, quote, a genocide of white people in South Africa, accusing the South African government of failing to address violence against white farmers, promoting policies that he considers to be anti-white. For instance, he has cited a song, an anti-aparthe-song called Killed-Bor, which calls for violence against white South Africans, describing it as actively promoting white genocide. There's been a lot of criticism as well of some of the land reform laws, because Elon Musk is, and these are his words, I'm going to quote him, describe South Africa's land expropriation laws as, quote,
Starting point is 00:40:21 racist ownership laws. And he's alleged that this is basically the legalized seizure of property from white people without compensation. Again, it's all being done in the name of justice, right? A different kind of reparations, if you were, because of the history that has happened there in that country. But people who, like President Trump and Elon Musk, feel that the law, white South Africaners are being unjustfully, racially profiled and up against a kind of genocide or violence would point to things like this. Here's, I'm going to show you some video of some white crosses there in South Africa. It's a little bit hard to hear over that helicopter, but they just
Starting point is 00:41:07 go on for seemingly miles. These are white crosses that represent the unjust deaths of these white South African farmers. And so again, this goes back to concerns that this is a form of genocide that's going on there, a white genocide as Elon Musk has referred to it. But the left is very upset. They're very upset because they're like, wait a second, what about all the people that are coming here, all the people that should be allowed into this country that were allowed in under Biden's administration? Why are they being sent to El Salvador? Donald Trump would say, well, because in many cases, we know that they have criminal records and they're being sent out for that reason as opposed to the people that are coming here to escape the genocide going on in South Africa,
Starting point is 00:41:56 whom we know have a certain profile background in terms of being nonviolent, right? Nonviolent contributing members of society. And that's been a big part of what he wants. He wants to lay out the red carpet for people who want to come here and contribute to our economy that are not violent people. On the other hand, if you have traffickers or people associated with gangs, et cetera, then they're no-go territory. And that should be kind of obvious, but Rick Stengel, who used to be the executive editor, I don't believe he still is, at time was on MSNBC this morning talking about this,
Starting point is 00:42:30 and I'll let him voice the other side of this argument, and you can see that somehow there's a justification in some of these people's heads that these people deserve it, and therefore we should not. We should not be accepting them or allowing them into our country. Believe it or not, watch. The outlines of Trump's mass deportation plans weren't already clear earlier today. The Trump administration formally lifted protection from deportation for Afghans in the United States, claiming that conditions in the Taliban-controlled nation of Afghanistan had improved enough for them to go home safely.
Starting point is 00:43:11 Nearly simultaneously, a U.S. charter plane carrying dozens of South Africans known as Afrikaners, the white ethnic minority that created and led the brutal apartheid regime in South Africa landed in the United States of America where the Trump administration has admitted them as refugees here, claiming that they have been discriminated against for jobs and have been victimized by violence expediting a process that normally takes years. That happened as Donald Trump has virtually halted refugee admission in America for people fleeing. God, I know. I'm sorry. She's so painful. It takes her forever to get any of her words out. But bear with me because it is important to hear what Rick Stengel has to say.
Starting point is 00:43:57 War and famine in places like Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo back with Rick. She really shouldn't be on TV, but I digress. Mark and Eddie Rick Stengel. Yes. It's so deeply and morally wrongheaded and repulsive. These are the descendants of the people who created the most diabolical system of white supremacy in human history, apartheid. They're not directly responsible for it, but it was a system that actually moved black people off of the arable land. So they inherited the land that the black people had to give up.
Starting point is 00:44:36 It was called forced removal. It was something called a Bantusan population. where they moved black people out of the cities and farmlands into these remote areas with non-Arabble land. I mean, it was just one of the most worst processes ever. But what has happened in this strange, bizarre world we're living in is that the Afrikaners have become the darling of these right-wing white supremacist movements around the world. That it's like the lost cause for them. It's like the old Confederacy.
Starting point is 00:45:05 They're held up as these white Christians who are being dispossessed of their land. It's like this is a modern replacement theory in a country where, by the way, white people make up 7% of the population and own 78% of the farmland. So it's actually there's no injustice here. As you mentioned, it's taking places away from refugees who are really being crushed by authoritarian governments and military governments for these folks who have never had anything happen to them. And Trump amazingly called it a genocide. One of the worst lies I've ever heard him say. There's just been a small handful of farmers that have been killed over the past 10 years. No land has actually been expropriated.
Starting point is 00:45:49 So it's just a farce and a sham and a moral ugliness. So there is a lot of frustration, as you can hear Intel from the left, who say, why aren't you taking more people from El Salvador, et cetera? Why would you allow for these people again on MSNBC, somebody named Eddie, glouder echoing the sentiment. Eddie, I want to ask you very briefly one other question that is an ethical question, the Trump administration welcoming white South Afrikaners to the U.S. as refugees while denying virtually all other groups fleeing war or persecution.
Starting point is 00:46:28 The Episcopal Church's Migration Service is now refusing a federal directive to help resettle them. The presiding bishop said this. It has been painful to watch one group of refugees selected in a highly unusual manner, receive preferential treatment over many others who have been waiting in refugee camps or dangerous conditions for years. Does this move, show who the administration sees as worthy? What do you see in that decision? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Donald Trump and his minions have been arguing for over the last decade or so that, you know, the demographic shifts in the country oppose an existential threat to America. They feel like they're losing their country. And so I think what we see very clearly here, Chris, is a white nationalist agenda at work. And we need to call it for what it is. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay. So just so we all have our facts, right?
Starting point is 00:47:27 In January of 2025, they passed what's known as the Expropriation Act that was signed into law by the government there in South Africa, allowing the government to seize land without compensation in specific circumstances, such as it is deemed to be in the public interest, or to, quote, redress past racial dispossession. A 2017 land on it showed that white South Africans owned about 72% of agricultural land despite being a minority, and this has thus fueled this push for a redistribution of land, because it is believed that that was created from apartheid. So in order to right the wrong, you're now going to go in and take the land.
Starting point is 00:48:14 The government insists that expropriation is following certain legal frameworks. They're prioritizing unused or unutilized land, and there is no mass seizures of white-owned farmland. They are saying, however, critics, including critics, like Elon Musk, argue that this law, is disproportionately targeting white landowners and thus amounts to racial discrimination. So that is the problem. Okay, that's the problem. Donald Trump is saying, I believe that those people are being discriminated against for political reasons and are therefore entitled to come to the U.S. with refugee asylum status.
Starting point is 00:48:56 By the way, not a ton of people have applied because a lot of people still want to stay in South Africa and they have property there that they want to protect, et cetera. and so they're not all flooding in, but for those that want to come in, he's extending this refugee status. And boy, is that making the left furious, furious, right? Because we need all the people that are going to come from all those places where, you know, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just sort of amazing. The whole thing is kind of amazing right now. We had a big to do about it. There on Friday in Newark, New Jersey, where you had the Newark mayor getting arrested, you had La Monica, McGiver, along with Menendez, some congresspeople from New Jersey out there protesting the ICE facility.
Starting point is 00:49:43 The Delany Ice facility, you'll recall, and they said, oh, there's absolutely no way that ICE should be operating here. They cannot take our New Jersey residents. Well, actually, they can, because it goes back to the Constitution. and federal law and federal law and the Supremacy Clause and the fact that the federal government is actually responsible for things like naturalization and immigration, et cetera. But that didn't stop La Monica from getting out there and, you know, waving her fists around and apparently her body around because there's some new video that came out. We showed it yesterday on the program from DHS where she's getting very confrontational with the DHS officers.
Starting point is 00:50:26 there's now an investigation going on because they're looking to possibly arrest them. And AOC wants you to know. AOC wants you to know, how dare you? Tom Homan, if you dare touch any member of Congress. Oh, there's going to be H2L to pay. But first, watch LaMonica, who interestingly gets cut off by the train every time she tries to say something. The train whistle. Kind of funny.
Starting point is 00:50:50 How this administration is trying to restrict Congress from doing their bare duties and the responsibilities that the people have elected us to do. What we just witnessed was just disgusting. I am very upset. I am very angry and I am very hurt that they could be able to do something like that to us. These are people who are supposed to be officers who are supposed to protect us, and they have done none of that. If they can treat three members of Congress like that,
Starting point is 00:51:17 just imagine how they can treat people on the street each and every day, both undocumented and people who are citizens here in this country. It makes absolutely no sense to arrest the mayor of the largest city of this state who did nothing wrong. He went inside of the gate and told him that he was waiting for us to come out because we were conducting an oversight visit. They asked him to leave. He left out of the gate. Instead of the ICE officials. Okay. Again, I think it's rather amazing that that train whistle, happened to come almost every time she tried to speak. But just keep in mind, AOC saw what went down on
Starting point is 00:52:04 Friday and took her a few days to kind of respond, right? I'm like AOC, what's going on? Finally, she got around to it. Let's see what she has to say to ICE. If anyone's breaking the law in this situation, it's not members of Congress. It's the Department of Homeland Security. It's people like Tom Homan and Secretary Kristy Kno. You lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem. Hmm. All right. So, you heard her. If you lay a finger on them, Christy, Tom, then we're going to have a problem. Of course, what happens if they lay a finger on the ice agents? What if they're impeding the process? Like, what does that mean? I mean, how can you do that? We talked yesterday about was this an insurrection or not? Because it certainly looks pretty egregious and aggressive when you have all of those people trying to actually. actually trespass onto federal property after being repeatedly told, no, no, no, you can't do that. Andy McCarthy was on Fox talking about this just last night. I want to show you an excerpt of the interview. So they broke out in song on Monday, a few days prior to that, though, the video was a lot rougher.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Another showdown outside that ICE detention center in New Jersey. Protesters, including Democratic lawmakers, members of the clergy there, protest the facility now a couple days in the making. Andy McCarthy is with us to tell us who's right. wrong on all this and where it goes from here. Andy, good morning to you and thank you for you. Morning bill. Yeah, AOC says Tom Holman, uh, secretary Nome, you're the problem here. Here we go. Watch. If anyone's breaking the law in this situation, it's not members of Congress. It's the department of homeland security. It's people like Tom Homan and secretary Christy Kno. You lay a finger on them. We are going to have a problem.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Okay. So legally, who's in the right here? Do the lawmakers have the authority to go into this facility or do they not? No, they absolutely don't have the authority to go in without the approval of the executive branch. The enforcement of the federal immigration laws is a federal responsibility. Congress has oversight of it, but members of Congress who are not acting as Congress, they're acting as individuals. They don't have any more right to obstruct the operations. and certainly to create situations that endanger, and in some cases reportedly have resulted in assaults on federal officials. They don't have any power to do that.
Starting point is 00:54:36 So, again, and I've said this over and over and over, guys, the reality is this. Tom Homan, ICE, Christy Knoem, President Trump, have all the authority to be, one, arresting people, are here illegally, two, deporting people who are here illegally, and three, having detention centers on federal grounds. I mean, it's sort of amazing to me that we're getting to this point. I realize that there's always this like state federal tension, but we have a supremacy clause. We have the reality that constitutionally, constitutionally, the federal government is responsible
Starting point is 00:55:22 for immigration. So I'm not sure what they're coming away with. We've been through this before, you know, the regulating foreign commerce is one of the ways that they can justify the power to have certain people in this country or not. That would be Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3. You've got Congress's power to establish a uniform rule of naturalization. That's pretty blatant, right? Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4, or the federal government's inherent power over foreign affairs
Starting point is 00:55:51 and national sovereignty, and that comes via Marco Rubio, Department of State, etc. And they've had a number of cases, actually, in the past. You can go all the way back to 1893, 1889, that went through all of this. Okay, so the precedent is there. You also have the Supremacy Clause, the Supremacy Clause ensuring that the federal immigration laws are overridden or do override conflicting state laws. So for AOC to try and create this state versus. federal environment or Letitia James, for that matter, or any of these states,
Starting point is 00:56:25 it's almost as though they're trying to march us towards a kind of civil war. And I don't say that lightly. That is effectively what they're trying to get at by trying to say the federal government doesn't have any right to be going after people who are in such violation of federal rules. This is the rule of the land, okay? And unless you all want to become like Europe and New York want to. to go be New York and California wants to go become its own nation, the rules are the rules.
Starting point is 00:56:59 And they're going to stay the rules. And you can take this all the way up to the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court's going to give the exact same answer that I'm giving you right now, okay? The federal government takes precedent when it comes to this stuff. Do you hear that, AOC? Didn't you have a degree in economics? Maybe you should have gone and studied a little poli-sire, or maybe a little law along the way. Of course, Howard University didn't do much good for one, Letitia James. Now did it. American Art for Gold.
Starting point is 00:57:26 Again, remember, if you're interested in buying gold, they get a special offer for friends of the show. $15,000 worth of free silver with qualifying offers. Just go to Trishlovesgold.com today. Call them at 184444-495-1115. Text Trish to 65532 for more information. Guys, I'm looking at gold, actually, and gold is actually nearing its all-time record. It's just sort of amazing. We've seen the markets on fire.
Starting point is 00:57:51 Down down a little bit today, S&P trading up almost a percent. NASDAQ up about a 1.5% or 1.7%. So the rally continues. This is just amazing. And gold's at 3252. Again, a 3 tenths of a percent I did say about a little bit yesterday. And the market continues. It's upside.
Starting point is 00:58:10 The NASDAQ has been on a tear. I mean, we're recovering everything that we had lost. Don't forget during that Liberation Day time. when it got really stressful, right? All of a sudden now, we're getting deals, including a deal with China. So what are you going to do to make sure that you're partaking in this MAGA rally? Donald Trump said, buy stocks the other day. He was totally right.
Starting point is 00:58:31 I couldn't agree more. And by the way, the timing was pretty good because it was right when things were down and things were about to pick up. He did that once before. Letitia wants to assume friends started trading over it, right? because just a few weeks ago, well, that would have been right around the Liberation Day time when they had come out with all the tariffs and the markets were falling out of bed. He said, hey, you know what?
Starting point is 00:58:53 He sent out a true social on this. You should be buying now. And then he came out and said it again the other day. Well, he has been right. He has been right because it keeps turning around. And we'll see what lays ahead. Again, if you're interested in investing in the markets, I really encourage you to do it. And let us help you however we can.
Starting point is 00:59:10 they're at 76 research. It's just a dollar a month, a dollar a month for the first two months. It goes to 995 thereafter. You can cancel any time. Use code word dollar, 76 research. It's my company that I started with a long time, dear friend. All of our portfolios has just done enormously well. One of the ones that I do direct people to often is the income builder portfolio because you have a lot of dividend stocks in there. And of course, we all want to retire one day. and that's a great way to make sure you have some income coming in from your retirement, even when you're not working anymore. It's living off your investments.
