The Trish Regan Show - BREAKING: Rep. Jasmine Crockett Under FEDERAL Investigation for Physical Assault Charges

Episode Date: April 2, 2025

Rep Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is in fresh trouble as the U.S. District Attorney for D.C. announced he is investigating her alleged assault on a reporter for a conservative news program. It comes just as... the House looks to censure Rep. Crockett for her “hot wheels” comments about Texas Governor Abbot. Attorney General Pam Bondi, meanwhile, is making new threats to the lawmaker after her comments about Elon Musk. As Jasmine increases her rhetoric (including a fresh attack on Florida’s nominee for Governor Byron Donalds), the foreign affairs committee hearings are underway on Capitol Hill. Under fire is one Nina Jankcowicz...remember her? Nina is the former head of Biden’s so-called “Ministry of Truth”…and, you won’t quite believe what she has to say now! Trish Regan is all over it. Meanwhile, Harvard University is risking $9 billion in federal funding amid growing concern it cannot protect its students as Trish Regan’s alma mater, Columbia University, loses $400 million and tries to patch things up by putting in a former CNN and NBC reporter as President of the school. The moves come as a Tufts University student from Turkey is removed and sent to Louisiana awaiting trial and as Sec of State Marco Rubio promises to deport any students here in the US on visas that may try to instigate protests. And, as the FCC launches its investigation into Disney, Trish looks at the real issues facing this once legendary company. Starting point is 00:00:00 Boom! Jasmine Crockett has been busted, totally busted. Her behavior, you see, is catching up with her. Brand new news to tell you about today. The U.S. attorney there in D.C. is actually investigating the case of assault. You see, a reporter asked Jasmine a question, and, well, I wasn't okay by her, because I guess the reporter comes from the conservative side of things and was daring to test her on some of her rhetoric about Elon Musk, and, well, she kind of went off on him.
Starting point is 00:00:30 Allegedly, allegedly, welcome to the program, everyone. I'm Trish Rigan. It's so good to have you here. Make sure you subscribe, share, like, all that good stuff. We're fully independent, fully independent, so it's really important that you do subscribe so that you know when I'm here hit the bell as well. This is a huge story. And for any of you out there who maybe don't know who Jasmine Crockett is,
Starting point is 00:00:50 she's the junior senator, Democrat from Texas. And perhaps her biggest sort of claim to fame was this little moment with MTG, Marjorie Taylor Green. And remember this when Marjorie pointed out the caterpillar eyelashes and the woman just took off? I don't think you know what you're here for. Well, you don't want to talking about. I think your fake eyelashes are messing up. No, I'm just curious.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Just to better understand your ruling, if someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody's bleached blind, bad-built, butch body that would not be engaging in personalities, correct? A what now? I don't know that comer's like, a what now? bad built butch body. Well, you know, I got to say MTG won that one all day long because the caterpillar eyelashes is really indeed something. Anyway, we won't digress.
Starting point is 00:01:39 We won't go there. We won't go into the gutter because this is all this woman does. Anyway, the U.S. attorney is on to her. One Ed Martin tweeting out today, as I've said from day one, no one is above the law. This matter is currently under review by law enforcement authorities. It is referred to the U.S. Attorney's Office. We will follow the proper procedure to determine whether charges,
Starting point is 00:01:58 are appropriate. So Jasmine, you're kind of landing yourself in a little bit of trouble. Apparently all this bad behavior is catching up with her. Politico having the story as well, writing that law enforcement is reviewing an altercation between Representative Jasmine Crockett and a conservative cameraman, according to a statement from, as we said, Ed Martin, the acting U.S. attorney for Washington, Martin said his office will review the matter and determine whether or not charges are appropriate. Appropriate because take a look at this video.
Starting point is 00:02:25 So a cameraman reporter for Laura Loomers podcast approached Jasmine with a pretty reasonable question, if you ask me. I mean, Jasmine Crockett had been going on and on about how we had to go after one Elon Musk. Remember that? All she wanted for her birthday was this. Thank you so much, Annie. And I won't hold y'all because I know how much people love to listen to politicians. So I'll make sure that I keep it short.
Starting point is 00:02:54 but I am truly here for very selfish reasons. Starting with on March 29th, it's my birthday. And all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. Yes. Okay. So that was a little bit of a problem, shall we say, when she said that, because it got the attention of a lot of folks in light of some of the challenges that Tesla is now facing, of course.
Starting point is 00:03:18 And because she said that, she's caught sort of on to Pambondi, et cetera. So thus, I mentioned this only because. as a journalist, I got to tell you, it's fair game, right? It's in the news. It's a story, and it's one that you would likely ask her about as this reporter take a look did. And then she kind of just lunged at them somehow, some way, because, you see, that's how they do things in Jasmine Crocett's territory, I guess, here we go. Hello, Congresswoman. Horseman, Uber. Horsman, that's what you're talking.
Starting point is 00:03:49 Well, that sounds like fun. Wait, Congresswoman Crocett. Congresswoman Crockett, you were recently on a Tesla takedown call, calling for violence on a 29? Would you like to clarify your comments? As you can see. Congresswoman, will you condone violence at the test? What? And again, courtesy.
Starting point is 00:04:13 Thank you, Laura, for sharing that clip. But what was that? Like, she just, like, grabbed him. He apparently said he got scratched and stuff like that, too. The mainstream media is trying to play. this, or rather, I should say, the liberal media is trying to play this as, oh, he's such a wist, this, that, and the other. Can you imagine if it was the other way around, can you imagine if a liberal reporter, an MSNBC reporter, a Daily Beast reporter, any of them, actually
Starting point is 00:04:39 approached Comer or Cruz or anybody else, and they did that? Like, that would not be okay, right? They'd be going nuts. Anyway, now, Jasmine has to have Capitol Hill police at your expense, by the way, as a taxpayer. I showed some of you this clip the other day. She's, is charging you this expense. She's got an escort so as to prevent her from hurting any future reporters that may have a question for one, Ms. Jasmine Crockett. Hey, Congresswoman, do you write your earlier comments you made about Governor Greg Abbott? Oh, he looks intimidating, right? Yeah, not. Anyway, we're paying a lot of money for him. And this reporter that was originally the one accosted, he's allegedly assaulted. He's not too
Starting point is 00:05:25 happy about that. He's complained about that. Here he is also outside Capitol Hill saying, again, you know, this is not right. I have gone to the Capitol Hill police. Very big development here on Capitol Hill. I just left a formal meeting with the United States Capitol Police. I had to fill out some more forms, talk about the horrific incident where Congresswoman Crockett reached from my phone, scratching me just because I asked her a question about her involvement in the Tesla take down. So now my formal complaint has officially been moved to the United States Attorney's Office in Washington, D.C., and we will see what happens.
Starting point is 00:06:08 But again, the United States Capitol Police were very nice and very helpful this morning, and we'll see what happens. I want to thank all of you for supporting Laura and I as we go through this. I don't want to say difficult, but crazy situation. You know, this is bigger than just me and Rep. Crockett. This is about standing up for free speech in the building right behind me. Free speech can never leave Capitol Hill, because if free speech leaves Capitol Hill, free speech will leave America. Okay, you know, I'm just going to add to this, the way it sort of goes down is that you are allowed to approach these members of Congress. You are allowed to approach these members of Congress. You are
Starting point is 00:06:51 allowed to ask questions. It shouldn't be something. Congresswoman, do you write your earlier comments you made about Governor Greg out of it? It shouldn't be something where you have a police escort at taxpayer dollars preventing a reporter from asking a serious question. You know, he's pretty harmless enough. I don't think he was going to really do her any harm. He had a very simple but important and serious question. And now she's got this police barrier escort in the way. And And I would point out, she's being sued for assault. And the U.S. Attorney General is now looking into the case.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Forgive me, not to the Attorney General. That would be Pam Bondi, who's looking into Jasmine for other reasons. But this is the U.S. attorney there in Washington, D.C. So there are a few problems on the way. You know, I want to get to the media's double standard on this, as well as some of the other things. She said, new commentary about Byron. I mean, it's just really kind of despicable.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Byron, Donald's who's running for Governor of Florida, before I do, quick shout out to my investment newsletter. Here's the free version. Totally, totally, totally, totally free because, you know, I want you guys to do this. What did I tell you? You just don't have to just listen to me. Lots of people love this. But I want to get back to this story about this media double standard because it's massive, all right? This is a total, total, total, double standard because take a look at this one. We've got, oh, the Daily Beast, don't we just love them at the Daily Beast?
Starting point is 00:10:00 You know, these publications just make me nauseous sometimes, really and truly nauseous. There's like no efficacy in any of it. But anyway, they're making a big deal about how dare she? How dare Laura Lumer, who is a conservative podcaster, how dare she, she, say anything, right? Like, you're not even allowed to speak if you're conservative. We know how that goes down. We've seen it before. They want to just cancel you immediately, cancel culture on steroids. And that's what the media has been part of for so long. And they're like, how dare she bring charges against her? What are you supposed to do? Your reporter gets like, you know, I don't know what, hit, whatever, but we don't know exactly, right? It looked like an
Starting point is 00:10:45 assault. We'll go back and look at the tape. And Congresswoman, do you... Wrong one. That was the one where she has the police escort. Here she is getting... Going after this reporter somehow, some way. It doesn't look pleasant. He complains that he's scratched. And I would just say, you got to do what you got to do.
Starting point is 00:11:04 You got to defend your reporter. You were recently on a Tesla takedown call, calling for violence on a 29? Easy question. Answer it. To clarify your comments? As you can see. Congress, will you condone violence? No, not okay, not okay, not okay.
Starting point is 00:11:22 But for the mainstream media or, you know, I don't even know if we can call it mainstream. They're kind of fringe, shall we say. They're not going to cover this. Politico did sort of give it a few pieces of ink there today because the U.S. attorney is now looking into all of this and investigating it. But the daily beast, their take is, well, how dare she? You know, she's just looking for more publicity, this, that, and the other. I'm sorry, you know, how dare Jasmine Crockett. She's the one who actually went after the guy, and it's not just this.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Like, this woman's something else. I do believe she called Trump Putin's Hull. She calls Governor Abbott from Texas. Hot Wheels. You see, he is bound to a wheelchair because he was running when he was like 26 years old and a tree fell on him. Yeah, that's what she does. And then she attacked Byron Donald's because he's married to a white woman.
Starting point is 00:12:10 and she's somehow, some way. The darling of the Democrat Party, that's interesting. I mean, I just say, you know, I don't know how well she's going to do in the Democrat Party, given that she kind of seems to get herself in a whole lot of trouble. We're talking about censure that's on the way as well right now. I want to get to that story, but first, know that Pam's on it. Pam Bondi responding to concerns about Tesla. You had, of course, Jasmine Crockett trying to stir the pot.
Starting point is 00:12:42 Thank you so much, Annie. And I won't hold y'all because I know how much people love to listen to politicians. So I'll make sure that I keep it short. But I am truly here for very selfish reasons. Starting with on March 29th, it's my birthday. And all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. Yes. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:13:05 So March 29th kind of came and went. But it hasn't stopped, I think, the rhetoric against Tesla, some of the attacks we've seen on Tesla. And so Pam Bondi felt so compelled because of these attacks to announce that they are charging so far one individual. And she wants to make it very clear. We're going to find you. We're going to arrest you. We're going to put you in jail if this is what you're doing. For Frederick, in the firebombing of a Tesla dealership that occurred on March...
Starting point is 00:13:34 I've made it clear if you take part in the wave of... of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you, and put you behind bars. Today, I am proud to announce that the Department of Justice has unsealed federal charges against another Tesla attacker. We've charged Cooper Frederick in the firebombing of a Tesla dealership that occurred on March 7th in Loveland, Colorado. All of these cases are a serious threat to public safety. Therefore, there will be no No negotiating. We are seeking 20 years in prison.
Starting point is 00:14:12 The crime was committed in Colorado, and thanks to the great investigative work by the FBI, the defendant was arrested in Plano, Texas. Let this be a warning. You can run, but you cannot hide. Justice is coming. Watch out. Okay, so what does it mean for a lawmaker who's pushing this kind of rhetoric? I mean, I think they're pretty clear on what it means in terms of
Starting point is 00:14:38 any individuals caught keying cars or trying to do anything worse, and we know that worse things have happened. Pam is also calling on Jasmine to apologize, which she won't, by the way. She went on Fox Business. That reporter was actually able to get a question to her, and she's like, I'm not doing it. I'm not, I'm not going to apologize for any of this. Heck, you know, I'm the one lovely Jasmine Crocket. I don't need to. By the way, she's a total fraud spirit filled. Thank you so much for your generosity. It's good to see you back on the program here today. Thank you. Very patriotic. flag, he's sending my way or she, spirit-filled. Anyway, what I would say is that Jasmine herself is a total fraud.
Starting point is 00:15:17 Okay, this woman tries to pretend. She's like from the street, she's from the hood, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, no, no, no. She, like, grew up in a nice family, went to private school, St. Louis Country Day School, and then winds up at Rhodes College. It was a fancy-smancy, expensive school. And a pretty good one. and somehow, some way she made it through.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Anyway, somehow, some way, she's also trying to present herself as, well, not the private school, fancy college gal, but rather the street kid from the Bronx, which incidentally will get to Byron because she's going after him. He really is. Byron, like, had a tough upbringing. single mom, the Bronx, the whole bit. He's like the full-on American success story. But, you know, Jasmine, she likes to pretend otherwise.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Here's Pam on Jasmine demanding the apology. Well, Sean, it is. And, you know, after she said that about Elon, she said, well, I didn't mean violence. But, however, your words have consequences. And what happened after she said that about Elon Musk, she's a Texan in her own home state. after she said that this morning three explosive devices were found in Austin, Texas. So she needs to unequivocally denounce the violence. She must apologize immediately not only to all Texans, but to our country to the American.
Starting point is 00:16:48 Yeah, and she didn't. She was offered the opportunity. Another reporter put a microphone in her face. Fortunately, she didn't attack that reporter and said, hey, and she's like, no, no, I stand by my statement, which wasn't an apology. guys. So, you know, the Democrat Party is looking to her because they think she's got some kind of magic. I don't think she does, given that she's totally fake. I mean, I'll give you this. She's got a little bit of pizzazz, like a little bit of Jeune-secois, which is why she's
Starting point is 00:17:15 moving up the ranks so quickly. She says anything, kind of irresponsibly, again, why she's getting a lot of media attention. I mean, consider what she said about Ted Cruz, talking about punching them out, for goodness sakes. This is not okay, all right? This woman is a member of Congress. I think that you punch. I think you punch. I think you're okay with you, you're okay with punching. You know, I think, and I love Colin, and I think towards the end he started to punch a little harder.
Starting point is 00:17:42 But like, it's Ted Cruz. I mean, like, this dude has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right? Like, there is no niceties with him, like, at all. Like, you go clean off on him, right? Clean up on him. Like, what does that mean? I'm looking at some of your words. comments because we're a live show and you guys are noticing the upside that we have seen in Newsmax's
Starting point is 00:18:08 stock. Don, I agree with you. It's been really, really amazing and crazy. We're going to talk a little bit more about the markets a little bit later in the program, but I would just say this. You know what? That's not okay. Jasmine Crockett, you're not okay. I get the Democrats are desperate and they want somebody with a little Rasmataz and they think that, you know, she can tap dance her way. I don't know, all the way the Oval Office. In all seriousness, guys, her name is actually coming up as a potential candidate for the presidency. And you know what I say to that? All day long. I'll take that one all day long because there's no way in HE.E.L. That woman ever makes it anywhere near. I hope I don't have to eat my words, right? I hope they don't put her in for VP and something
Starting point is 00:18:49 funky happens. But I don't think that she could ever be elected because she doesn't have the stature. She doesn't have the eloquence. She only has this sort of gimmicky street talk that is full of, full of, I don't know, what do you want to call that? Rhabato, but nothing more. It's, they're empty words, they're empty words. But they could be dangerous words. And this is why she's being censured right now. Expect that one Jasmine Crockett is going to be censured for her Hot Wheels comments. What are Hot Wheels? You remember that the other day? That was something. House Republicans are moving forward on this censure movement because she was insulting and handicapped person. I mean, hey, aren't she supposed to be a lefty lady? Like,
Starting point is 00:19:33 what's going on? Here was the comment. Because we in these hot-ass Texas streets, honey. Y'all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now. And he is a hot-ass mess, honey. So yes. So yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Yes, so she's going to be centered. What do you know? She's trying to backpedal. She's backpedal. She's like, no, no, no. I wasn't thinking. I wasn't thinking about the governor's condition. I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles that he used to transfer migrants into communities led by black mayors. Hmm, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable. Interesting. So now she's got some other conspiratorial narrative coming out of this. Look, I don't care
Starting point is 00:20:27 where the people are. They're here illegally, right? If they're here illegally, they shouldn't be here. And so somehow she thinks, oh, well, if we send them into black communities and the black community will be upset, white community's upset too. Everybody's upset. Everybody's upset. that nobody wants anybody here illegally. Literally, the next line I said was that he was a hot A mess, referencing his terrible policies. At no point did I mention, or, she said, elude to his condition. So I'm even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support Trump,
Starting point is 00:21:00 a man known for racially insensitive nicknames and mocking those with disabilities, are now outraged. I'm sorry, but you did say, Governor Hot Wheels. You did actually reference his wheelchair. I was kind of a stupid thing to do. But again, I just go back to this. If this is all they got and they want to double down on things like, okay, the people that are born as boys,
Starting point is 00:21:25 we're going to let them race against the girls and sweep up all the scholarships and we're all about trans rights and this, that, and the other. The more you do that, the more you put the Jasmine Crockett's out there in the world, the more you will lose. and Republicans will keep on winning, which is important. We need this, okay, because there's a lot of work that's got to get done. There's a lot of work, and I'm going to get into some of that work today,
Starting point is 00:21:47 because when I see what's going on, for example, the Foreign Affairs Committee hearings today, you have the former head of Biden's truth ministry up there, once again, telling more lies, trying to gaslight the public. I'm just looking at it saying, we've got a lot of work to do. When you look at these universities and the billions of dollars, that they have been given by us, taxpayers, that's going to all get undone. And you look at the immigration story and heck, you know what, it's amazing. We're seeing a 96% drop, I almost said 95, it's a 96% drop and then a border crossings.
Starting point is 00:22:24 And that's important because if you look at what Elon Musk and Garcia were saying, the guy who's working with him on the Doge data set, they're looking at the Social Security records and they're like, how the heck is it that there was this massive increase in illegals getting social security numbers? How do you even get a social security number as an illegal to begin with? What were they really up to? Was this about getting people to vote their way? Like a new form of gerrymandering, shall we say?
Starting point is 00:22:53 Not okay, right? Like, it has to stop. And these are important things that need to stop right now. Reminder to subscribe to the show, to share to like. I'm also, by the way, over on Spotify now, totally free. So please go look for the Trish Regan. show on Spotify as well. Jasmine Crockett, meanwhile, I'm sorry I'm going all in on this woman, but guys, you know what? They are actually talking about her, seriously, as a White House contender.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I guess we love that because you can put her up there all day long. There's no way that she's electable on a mass scale. Byron Donald, he is. He's actually probably going to be the next governor of Florida. He's also a member of the House and smart guy, actual, actually has a background in finance and economics, which I appreciate. And you know what, he is from the hood? Like, Jasmine goes on and on and tries to talk like, you know, I'm so street smart and streetwise. Well, Byron Donald's grew up extremely poor in a project, in the Bronx, single mom.
Starting point is 00:23:54 And you know what? When he was younger, I think he told me this when he was in high school, he just decided he needed a better way forward. And he started teaching himself about the stock market and how to invest. And he read, like, Buffett's book. And it's actually, I get like goosebumps telling the story because it's really sweet, right? Like he actually, he took Bull by the Horns and said, I am going to make something of myself. And indeed he did.
Starting point is 00:24:17 But Jasmine now is attacking him because he's married to a white woman. Like really and truly, like all she sees is color? Or is this just part of her schick as well, just like the street talk? And if we continue to put people into office, and that even means some of our skin, who definitely are not our kinfolk, such as Byron Donalds, who are going to continue to say that, like, I mean, the fact that you sitting around
Starting point is 00:24:44 talking about life was better under Jim Crow? Like, is this because you don't understand history? Or literally it's because you married a white woman and so you think that that whitewash you, I'm not really sure, like, what it is. But I need... Well, you can even be married to a white woman under Jim Crow? Correct. Correct.
Starting point is 00:25:00 And it's a joy to call him out. So I'm like, bro, like, what is you talking about? Like, what are you saying? Like, he just, here, you know, I feel like they give him his talking points and he's like, yes, Massa, I got it. Oh. So did you ever think, Jasmine, that they've given you your talking points that maybe you're actually doing?
Starting point is 00:25:22 I mean, you want to compare and contrast that one. I do believe it was Biden that had a real problem calling adult men, boy, like over and over and over again. I mean, it is your side of the aisle that actually doesn't believe that people, can succeed and need to be given all kinds of special treatments, which fundamentally in and of itself is extraordinarily racist because you're assuming that someone can't do something because of their ethnicity. I mean, like if you really want to go there, we can go there all day.
Starting point is 00:25:59 And by the way, Byron is going to wipe the floor with you all day long on that. Byron's actually somebody who believes in meritocracy, who believes in the great capitalist system of America, and that everybody, if they work hard, can get ahead in this country. By the way, that's why everybody's trying to come here, Jasmine. I mean, you get free stuff, too, that Biden's were given out for a while, but that's over. People still want to come here for the American dream, something unique to America. And by the way, Jasmine, something that you, yourself, have actually been able to enjoy
Starting point is 00:26:29 going to a fancy, schmancy private school at 38K a year and then on to Rhodes College. Well, I will say this. There's a reason why we have people like Jasmine Crockett in positions of power right now. There's a reason why we have such division in this country. And it goes back to a lot of what we're seeing in some of the universities. This is all changing, by the way, in real time. $9 billion that Harvard University, who, by the way, wouldn't allow white students, Asian students and totally like just disregarded all kinds.
Starting point is 00:27:07 of things because they were all in the name of diversity, right? Until the Supreme Court told them they couldn't do it anymore. Now I hear they're looking by zip code. Well, they're about to lose $9 billion at one Harvard University. Trump is saying this is all by the way, up for the taking. $9 billion. $9 billion is a lot of money Harvard University gets. I mean, hey, it makes the $400 million that he took from Columbia University look like,
Starting point is 00:27:36 you know, nothing. So they've got $9 billion in funding at risk. We taxpayers give them this money. And you got Linda McMahon saying, why are we giving them this money when they are actually at odds fundamentally sort of with who we are, where we are going, and the American success story that has made, frankly, Harvard and this country unique. I mean, they're graduating people who just think they can get a job right now because of
Starting point is 00:28:06 DEI instead of graduating people who actually really want to make a difference and contribute to the economy in this world. Perhaps Disney has a few too many of these folks. They're from Harvard University. They had to get rid of Claudine Gay, who oddly, I went to high school with as she was a senior and I was a freshman, so I don't rarely remember. She was a disaster. I mean, at least Stefanik.
Starting point is 00:28:27 Remember that? She just wiped the floor. I should say with one Claudine Gay. She had to leave. They brought someone else in. That person had to leave. now they brought somebody else in. The guy who's now running it is like,
Starting point is 00:28:39 no, I feel your pain. I feel your pain because, you know, I'm Jewish myself, and I want you to know we're going to protect the kids on campus. They're trying to give some lip service, which may be better than what Columbia University is trying to do right now. Columbia University is just putting this woman in charge of former NBC news reporter, CNN as well. She happened to have gone to Columbia, oh, like I did.
Starting point is 00:29:01 And she got her undergrad and her master's there in Russian studies. worked for the Russian Bureau. They're in NBC News and then on to CNN or vice versa. Maybe it was CNN and then NBC News. And so her name is Claire Shipman, married to the former press person for President Obama, Jay Carney. Remember him? I think he went on to run press at Amazon. So perhaps Columbia University's board thinks that they can get kind of a two-for-here.
Starting point is 00:29:32 They get like a press operation? Let me tell you, this is not going to go over well. This is not going to go over well because of some of the things that one Claire Shipman has already been known to have said like this. Columbia's new press called congressional hearings on anti-Semitism, Capitol Hill nonsense. Really, Claire?
Starting point is 00:29:54 I don't think you're the right person here for this job. Oh, and look at this one. Columbia University is not getting the best and the brightest anymore. more, too bad. Thank you, Joe, for the generosity. I'm looking at this. I'm like, this is kind of sad. But, you know, who would want to go there? Who would want to go there anymore when you're looking at like swastikas that they have put on the International SEPA, the School of International of Public Affairs building? I mean, I'm sort of astonished. I went to school there. I took classes in these buildings. And I'm hearing now about janitors having to wipe things up. And they get
Starting point is 00:30:34 this guy, right, Khalil, who Marco Rubio is like, you're out of here, right? They sent him first to Louisiana. Somehow the American Civil Liberties Union was able to get him moved to New Jersey. But he was one of the rabble rosters who was starting all these problems on campus. They had some alumni day the other day. And they got all these kids that are tearing up, and I guess alumni tearing up their diplomas because, well, they're all for Palestine and they're not for the Jewish kids that are there on campus. It's kind of strange. I mean, it's, it's, it's bizarre. Graduates of the School of International and Public Affairs chanted free Palestine as they destroyed their sheepskins. It was Alumni Day on campus. The protests are in support of Mahmoud Khalil,
Starting point is 00:31:19 the Columbia grad student and protester now held by ICE agents. And they also object to the concessions made to curb protests on campus. Institution, and Tom Ahmoud Khalil is free. Liberation. Hmm. Yeah, Palestinian rights and liberation. I mean, we're just going to forget all about October 7th. This is not okay, all right?
Starting point is 00:31:53 And we haven't even talked about the DEI stuff that they're promoting and the trans stuff and the God knows what in all these college campuses. This is a big problem. Right? So when you see people like Jasmine Crockett that are maybe seeing some kind of a marginal success politically, or even Kamala Harris or AOC or Joe Biden, it's because of this sort of set of beliefs that they're all trying to push forward. And it's coming from academia.
Starting point is 00:32:19 And it's not just Harvard. And it's not just Columbia. It's not just the Ivy League. It's disseminated throughout all of the educational system because we effectively have a ton of graft in that system. And you've got a ton of federal money that's been going to all these schools for years now. And look who's been controlling it. I mean, you had Trump in there for four years.
Starting point is 00:32:40 But the whole darn time, he was fighting Russia, Russia, Russia, and a whole host of other things, right? Because of all the disinformation that the left put out. And yet, they want you to think it's the other way around. I'll tell you, this was unbelievable what I saw going down today in the Foreign Affairs Committee hearings. Do you remember Nina Jancovic? She's the one who became Biden's head of his ministry of truth.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Yeah, they had a ministry of truth during the Biden years because they had to fight disinformation. Well, she was testifying today. You know, if you recall, she's the one who said she knew it all. She knew what was true, what was fault, et cetera. She's an expert on online disinformation. Information laundering is really quite ferocious. when a hoaxter takes some lies and makes them sound precocious by saying them in Congress or a mainstream outlet so
Starting point is 00:33:41 it's how you hide a little idle, idly, it's how you hide a little idle, little lie, it's how you hide a little hidele, when Rudy Giuliani shared that in town from Ukraine, or when TikTok influences say COVID can cause pain, they're laundering disinfo and we really should take note and not support their lies with our wallet, voice or vote. But this is a person with extensive qualifications. She really should have pursued a career on Broadway, though not talented enough for that. She got her moment in the sun today. You see, she went to speak on Capitol Hill, along with Matt Taibi, to talk about all the
Starting point is 00:34:26 disinformation that was there, although, you know, she's living in an alternative universe where apparently she still hasn't recognized anything, including that the virus came from Wuhan, China, that the Russian dossier was fake. although we know, of course, the Hillary Clinton's campaign commissioned it, bought and paid for it by Perkinscoy, the law from working for Hillary's campaign, and they paid Fusion GPS, which paid Christopher Steele. By the way, Nina's like Christopher Steele's biggest fan, even reusing magazine, a Libertarian magazine, actually had to call her out on that one because she, like, loves, loves Christopher Steele. Anyway, she did this hearing today, and let's just say, Nina,
Starting point is 00:35:08 once again managed to embarrass herself, and she didn't even have to sing this time. Here we go. I believe it's my patriotic duty to do so, because the premise of this hearing, the so-called censorship industrial complex, is a fiction that has not only had profound impacts on my life and safety, but on our national security. More alarmingly, this fiction is itself suppressing speech and stymying critical research that protects our country. I want to acknowledge the irony we're having this discussion as we witness an assault on the First Amendment we have not seen in decades.
Starting point is 00:35:46 The Trump administration has directed far more egregious violations of our Constitution than the imagined actions of the Biden administration on which this hearing is premised. Each one is chilling, but as a Fulbright alumna, the recent arrest of Rumsia Ostirk, a Fulbright PhD student at Tufts University, especially disturbed. disturbed me. He disturbed me. I just had to stop it because she's like a caricature of herself. Like, have you ever seen anybody more annoying? Like, she might actually be more annoying than Hillary Clinton, which is saying something. Me and my full bright scholar. Anyway, she wants to talk about the Turkish woman who got arrested at Tufts University and was hauled off to Louisiana because, I don't know, the Turkish woman kind of sounds like a spy for Turkey and for some bad guys to me. And Marco Rubio has a lot of questions about her.
Starting point is 00:36:43 We'll get to that. But in the meantime, the annoying woman, Nina Jancoach, who really does give Hillary Clinton. She's a little mini Hillary Clinton to run for her money. The Secretary of State seemingly revoked Ms. Ozturk's visa for publishing an op-ed in Tufts campus newspaper. For using her constitutionally protected right to free speech, she was. spirited away by plain clothes ice officers in broad daylight. This is what I'm used to observing in authoritarian countries that I study. And if this had happened in a country in this subcommittee's portfolio,
Starting point is 00:37:19 I think you'd issue a statement of concern. But it happened here. So yes, we do need some First Amendment protections at the State Department, but not for imagined transgressions of previous administrations. We need those protections from this administration. today. I'm reading your comments, guys. You guys are hysterical.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Anyway, just to fill you in, I don't know how we haven't covered this story much here before, but there's this woman at Tufts University who basically, her last name was Oss Turk, is one of, according to CNN foreign, several foreign nationals affiliated with prestigious American universities to be arrested for purported activities related to terror organizations amid the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. They include Mahmoud Khalil, we've talked about. him that Palestinian activist who was taken into custody outside his Columbia University apartment recently.
Starting point is 00:38:13 He had gotten moved down to Louisiana, then was then moved to New Jersey. He's the one with the eight-month pregnant wife. In her order, Casper cited Columbia graduate and Palestinian activist Mahoud Cahill's case, specifically referencing a New York judge's decision to not allow Cahill to be deported until a court settles whether it has jurisdiction over the case. So this is her lawyer, right? This Turkish woman's lawyer trying to say, well, wait a second, you can't deport her just yet. And you know what Margo Rubio says? Yeah, to hell with you people. Like that makes literally no sense. Why do we have these students coming here that are supporting terror organizations and then
Starting point is 00:38:57 writing op-eds and gathering people so that they can have protests on university campuses? Let me tell you, like, that's not okay, right? That's the kind of stuff that our intel operations should be all over all day long. It's one thing if you're an American, you have a different point of view, you want to get out there and protest. It's kind of another thing. Like if you're coming here by our invitation to study at our great universities and you want to be a rabble rouser? No, not happening, says Marco. We revoked her visa.
Starting point is 00:39:26 She said, it's an F1 visa, I believe. We revoked it and here's why. And I'll say it again. I said it everywhere. Let me be abundantly clear, okay? If you go apply for a visa right now, anywhere in the world, let me just send this message out. If you apply for a visa to enter the United States and be a student and you tell us that the reason why you're coming to the United States is not just because you want to write op-eds, but because you want to participate in movements that are involved in doing things like vandalizing universities, harassing students,
Starting point is 00:39:52 taking over buildings, creating a ruckus, we're not going to give you a visa. If you lie to us and get a visa and then enter the United States and with that visa participate in that sort of activity, we're going to take. take away your visa. And once you've lost your visa, you're no longer legally in the United States, and we have a right, like every country in the world, has a right to remove you from our country. So it's just that simple. I think it's crazy. I think it's stupid. For any country in the world to welcome people into their country, they're going to go to your universities as visitors. They're visitors and say, I'm going to your universities to start a riot. I'm going to your universities to take over a library and harass people. I don't care what movement you're
Starting point is 00:40:30 involved in. Why would any country in the world allow people to come and disrupt? We gave you a visa to come and study and get a degree not to become a social activist that tears up our university campuses. And if we've given you a visa and then you decide to do that, we're going to take it away. I encourage every country to do that, by the way, because I think it's crazy to invite students into your country that are coming onto your campus and destabilizing it. We're just not going to have it. So we'll revoke your visa. And once your visa is revoked, you're illegally in the country and you have to leave. Every country in the world has a right to decide who comes in as a visitor and who doesn't. If you invite me into your home, because you say,
Starting point is 00:41:05 I want to come to your house for dinner, and I go to your house and I start putting mud on your couch and spray painting your kitchen, I bet you're going to kick me out. Well, we're going to do the same thing if you come into the United States as a visitor and create a ruckus for us. We don't want it. We don't want it in our country. Go back and do it in your country, but you're not going to do it in our country. He's right, okay? Like, he's completely, totally, absolutely right. You're engaging in support of Hamas? We don't need you here. We don't want you here. Go home. Go home. Visa revoked. I don't think it's that hard. This is not rocket science people, okay? You want people that are going to kind of play by the rules and not be difficult when they come to the country. Period. End of story.
Starting point is 00:41:48 And yet this Nina lady, wow, is she annoying or what I am looking at your comments? Yeah, I know, Leslie, you don't like her either. I think she actually might be as annoying, if not more. more than Hillary Clinton, which is just a very special place to be. But this, this was humiliating, absolutely humiliating for her because she just tried to gaslight us all over again. Listen, MAGA is here. Mag is here to stay. Maga is succeeding. I believe in MAGA. It's one of the reasons I created 76 research. Go get your free investing guide for the MAGA play right now. Invest in MAGA.com. Go there because there's a lot of really important stuff and names that you need to know. We look at the market's moving higher today. That's good news. Anyway, Nina is living in
Starting point is 00:42:33 this alternative universe. She still has some little program, sunlight something, funded, it's believed by George Soros, that she's using to try and expose all the conservative disinformation. I'm sorry, but we've been right. We've been right on everything. Here she is. Let's listen to this sound. Again, just a little bit at the top because she's gaslighting you here, guys, in a huge way. I believe it's my patriotic duty to do so because the premise of this hearing, the so-called censorship industrial complex, is a fiction that has not only had profound impacts on my life and safety, but on our national security. More alarmingly, this fiction is itself suppressing speech and stymieing critical research that protects our... It's not fiction. fiction. Okay? Like, that's where you're just all wrong. It's not fiction. So Matt Taibi was there, too.
Starting point is 00:43:35 She's calling out Matt Taibi. Matt Taibi, if you guys don't know him, he has like a substack now. And he used to be a writer at Rolling Stone, not exactly somebody who you would consider conservative, right? But he got the Twitter files. And what he discovered in those Twitter files was that there was a ton of pressure that was being placed by the State Department. and Nina's little group, right, Ministry of Truth, that she was running. The State Department was putting all this pressure on executives at Twitter to shut accounts down, including Donald Trump's account. The president of the United States of America had his Twitter account shut down because Nina and company thought that was the right thing to do in the spirit of making sure
Starting point is 00:44:17 they didn't have any disinformation out there. It's pretty remarkable. Right? And we've now since learned, oh yeah, it was absolutely pressure from up on high. Coming from Nina and company in the Biden administration, they were doing the same thing to Facebook. Look at what Mark Zuckerberg said. It's his biggest regret that he didn't stand up sooner to all of the pressure that they put on them. So this woman is out there trying to say, no, that's all false. She just has her own version of truth.
Starting point is 00:44:46 She reminds me the NPR lady, except this one, this one's really worse. I mean, maybe it's her diction or something. I don't know. Maybe it's that I saw her singing the Mary Poppins thing. I don't know, and I can't get it out of my head. But she's trying to gaslight you in a massive way. Now she has this new organization where she's doing much of the same, just not for the government, but she's getting heavily funded by people who want this stuff, right? Including allegedly George Soros, but she wouldn't admit it. Listen to this line of questioning today. Ms. Jankewitz, your organization of the American Sunlight Project claims to have a commitment to transparency, apparently does not extend to disclosing its donors. Has the American Sunlight Project received funding
Starting point is 00:45:24 either directly or indirectly from the George Soros or his foundations, including the Open Society Foundation? Thank you, Congressman. You know, I've received a lot of threats for speaking out, and so I've decided that we are going to abide by the rules that other 501C4s in our country abide by, and we are not required to disclose our donors small or large,
Starting point is 00:45:43 because I frankly don't want them to be threatened the way that I have been. So sunlight for other people, but not for your donors. If you're interested in more sunlight, I welcome you to introduce some legislation to overturn Citizens United, sir. Boom.
Starting point is 00:45:58 You heard that? Sunlight for some, but not for your donors. We're not allowed to know who her donors are. Again, it's believed Georgia Soros is one of the biggies because she needs to still do her job to control information, all that misinformation. What did they tell us? Oh, that was misinformation.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Remember 51x Spooks? Actually wrote a big piece in Politico, a letter, right? They all signed their name to that one because Hunterbine's laptop was not real. That was just misinformation fed to you, says Nina, says the 51X Spooks, courtesy of Rudy Giuliani. Of course, Nina didn't have her big job back then. That was actually during the campaign. I mean, if that's not campaign interference by Deep State, I don't know what it is. And then they moved forward.
Starting point is 00:46:48 and they shut down the Twitter account at the New York Post, which had published the story. Don't ever forget that. As much as she's trying to tell you otherwise, we know exactly what went down. You know what? If they could have, they would have done even more. What was Biden's biggest regret?
Starting point is 00:47:06 What did he tell Susan Page, the reporter who interviewed him on his way out the door? He said his biggest regret was that he didn't control the disinformation better. Wow. I mean, these people are something else here. Number one regret is that he's not going to be there for four more years. Because I think he was not, I had the last print interview with George W. Bush. He was ready to get out of the Oval Office. Not so much Joe Biden. He wishes he could stay there.
Starting point is 00:47:33 But he named two things about this biggest disappointments. One was the difficulty in combating misinformation, including from Donald Trump. And the second thing he mentioned was their failure to act more quickly to get shovels in the ground from that huge, infrastructure bill because he says that would have demonstrated to Americans the value of that spending. Oh, yeah. Like there was lots of value with that spending. Give me a break. That was the spending to nowhere. That's why we have all this inflation guys because they were printing trillions of dollars. Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer with their multi-trillion dollar thing. You had him, Biden with his third stimulus check and then you had the Fed printing for days and days. Like, I mean, it was unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:48:18 never seen anything like it. I get pounded in the table. I mean, even I was actually concerned when Trump came out with the second stimulus check in the summer of 2020. I'm like, this is not good. You're not going to get people back to work. You're going to have inflation, et cetera. And then Biden came through with round three. It was a disaster. But I went back and looked at the transcript and yeah, that was his biggest regret, not controlling the information well enough. Nina, I guess you didn't do your job. We're doing work in the public interest. I know this intimately. In my written testimony, I in detail the lies that upended my life when my appointment to lead the DHS Disinformation Governance Board was announced. As demonstrated by both the board's... I'm sorry, but the name itself,
Starting point is 00:49:02 disinformation governance board. I mean, does that not sound dystopian or what? And then you look at her, and it all makes sense. Founding documents and my five-hour sworn testimony before your colleagues on the Judiciary Committee, the board's mission was to protect civil rights, civil liberties, privacy, and the First Amendment, the very subject of this hearing. Many continue to lie that the board was a censorship body because it's politically useful to them. That lie was the first chapter in the tall tales about the so-called censorship industrial complex that have since emerged. They've been buoyed by the Twitter files, which falsely alleged that Twitter executives were colluding
Starting point is 00:49:44 with government to censor disfavored content. They did. Again, need I remind you, they shut down the president's Twitter account. I mean, the Ayatollah could have one all day long, but not President Trump. Nope. You know why? Because they didn't want him to win. They wanted Biden to win. That's why you had the 51 ex-books doing what they were doing. That's why you had all the infrastructure, right, with the mainstream media promoting one narrative. It was crazy. Honestly, one of the craziest things I've ever seen. I've been a journalist for a while, okay, in mainstream media. media for major networks for like 20 years. I have never seen anything like this. But then I stumbled across this, Smith-Munt Act of 1948. You see, we put in place a system to have a Chinese wall between
Starting point is 00:50:29 the propaganda that we would promote overseas because we wanted certain positions to be reflected overseas versus the propaganda that would be allowed back home. None of it was allowed back home. You could not use taxpayer dollars, you see, to push some kind of propaganda message here at home. You could do so overseas because you wanted to influence who was elected because, you know, it met something for oil prices or this, that, and the other in terms of our trade relationships. And so we realized we couldn't fight everything, right, with wars. So instead we decided we'd fight it with words and we'd use taxpayer dollars to do it. But you couldn't turn it on itself.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Oh, not until Obama came along and he decided in defense of democracy. We have to defend democracy back here. So we're going to allow for these taxpayer dollars to be used to be used on our. ourselves. Mike Ben's former State Department official now committed his whole career is about trying to make sure we preserve our First Amendment rights, and we get rid of this propaganda and use of taxpayer dollars for this propaganda. He explained it well recently on Joe Rogan Show. What was done then under Obama was the effective repeal of it. It was called the Smith Modernization Act, but the modernization got rid of the whole purpose of it, the firewall.
Starting point is 00:51:42 wall because at the time the media and media control was seen as the linchpin crux of winning the Cold War, piping in pro-US media influence. Because everything moved after World War II from kinetic warfare and military occupation. We used to militarily occupy the Philippines, for example, after we won the Spanish-American War. But that was banned under international law territorial acquisition by military force in 1948. So we had to win. So we had to win another way, right? So this is what we did.
Starting point is 00:52:16 And the CIA was really good about getting its message out. Again, you just couldn't do this back here at home, right? This was not allowed. You couldn't take taxpayer dollars and turn it on ourselves. To make any media narrative go viral in any country on Earth because of the suite of CIA proprietary media functions and its distribution network, especially when the U.S. had first mover advantage in radio and print. It's basically the U.S. and U.S. and U.K.
Starting point is 00:52:39 were the only games in town, really, and having robust. bust radio, film, TV, and print media. So the Smith month was said, okay, you can do that abroad. You can plant fake news stories in France. You can, you know, you can have propaganda blare into Africa or Western Europe or Central Asia, but that can't come home. You can't sigh up our own people with your propaganda organ abroad because the point of authorizing this is that we get cheaper gas. We get import export markets. We get a high standard of living because if a foreign government doesn't want to give up its resources or allow a U.S. military base or allow joint partnerships or exports of goods or U.S. multinational corporations to operate there, then the
Starting point is 00:53:32 American people suffer economically. So it was always designed. It was always designed to help the American people not to be turned on itself. And again, it's Obama that we have to thank. Suddenly everything changed in 2013. They put this forward in 2012. By 2013, they could use the money against us. And what did they do throughout the Trump presidency? And then 2020 for sure. And then you look at 2024, you look at the numbers and it's astounding how much money was being poured into mainstream media with a certain narrative that they wanted them to portray Dave and Sachs. The cryptos are now, by the way, brilliant guy, brilliant investor was one of the original PayPal guys with Elon. He said it well. Okay. So we knew the U.S. government runs a $2 trillion deficit every year.
Starting point is 00:54:20 We're in debt almost $40 trillion. And we also knew that any time anyone tries to cut anything in Washington, the whole city screams bloody murder. Okay. So the question is just why. Well, now we know. The money is all going to them. It's like round-tripping to them. New York Times. Crazy. Getting paid. Politico. Getting paid. Bill Crystal, perennial war. monger, getting paid. Ukraine, getting paid, like 11 out of 12 publications, Ukraine, getting paid. Incredible. Victor Orban, who's the Prime Minister of Hungary, was saying that he's very popular in Hungary.
Starting point is 00:54:53 His political opposition funded by USAID. In Poland, the left-wing political opposition funded by USAID, and on and on and on it goes. BBC. BBC, you wonder why everyone in the UK. So, yeah, yeah. I couldn't believe the BBC is getting paid. every left-wing organization in the world seems to be getting paid by this slush fund at USAID, which disburses about $50 billion a year. That's a billion dollars a week.
Starting point is 00:55:20 And this is crazy. So for Nina to get up there on Capitol Hill and humiliate herself again, almost worse than the Mary Poppins incident, is really quite something. She clearly believes in the cause, so to speak, the misinformation that they just want to keep pitching over and over and over and over to us. Meanwhile, you know what, it's ending. It's ending because you have a new team in charge. We talked about this a little bit yesterday, but the FCC is now getting involved. Brandon Carr with the FCC is suing. No, not suing yet, shall I say, investigating. Let me be careful with my words. Ooh, investors don't like it though. Check out shares of Disney. They just keep falling. I mean, the market was up today. Not Disney. Disney down another percent.
Starting point is 00:56:03 I'm in news that Brandon Carter is pretty serious about this. He wants to basically figure out what exactly Disney was doing vis-a-vis all its DEI nonsense. He sent a letter over to none other than Iger basically saying, you guys, you guys are pathetic. That's my translation. You guys are totally pathetic. When I look at the letter here, he said, for one, I want to ensure that Disney ends any and all discriminatory initiatives in substance, not just name. For another, I want to determine whether Disney's actions, whether ongoing or recently ended. Important, right? Recently ended, or whether they're ongoing, compiled at all times with applicable FCC regulations because they didn't, right? What they did was actually discriminatory.
Starting point is 00:56:45 They were putting people into positions of power only because of how they looked, the color of the skin, how they identified, okay, you're trans, you get the gig. That's not right. Like, it's actually a form of discrimination. So he said, as you know, Disney was once a great company, an iconic American company for decades. Disney focused on churning out box office and programming successes, but then something changed. What do you know? Disney has been embroiled in rounds of controversy surrounding its DEI policies. I can think of none other than Snow White to help capture sort of the essence of this.
Starting point is 00:57:19 We could call this the top in DEI nonsense. Disney and Snow White and Rachel Zegler, whose career is completely over before it started. I mean, she's not that talented anyway, so there you go. This letter was amazing. He said, look, I'm calling out your racially segregated. affinity groups. I'm calling out your reimagined tomorrow initiative for DEI. I'm calling out all your inclusion standards that you had right across ABC. ABC News. You are in trouble, guys. Whopi Goldberg, the view, you're in trouble because apparently you're requiring 50% of regular and
Starting point is 00:57:49 recurring characters to be drawn from underrepresented groups. So all of the shows on ABC may have forced racial and identity quotas into every level of production, demanding 50% or more of writers, directors, crew vendors, be selected based on group identity.
